- 0:13Speaker 1: Gabble Gabble.
- 0:14Speaker 2: If you plan to take a family vacation with your
- 0:16Speaker 2: best friend's family and then she sleeps with your boyfriend,
- 0:19Speaker 2: do you still have her for the ticket?
- 0:20Speaker 1: Jim Matthews is gonna tell us.
- 0:22Speaker 3: And if you give some of the money that you
- 0:24Speaker 3: got from curing tonail fungus to a pretty woman, can.
- 0:28Speaker 1: You sewer for it? Judge Billiard and Jealous's real people,
- 0:32Speaker 1: O cases great justice.
- 0:34Speaker 2: This is your gl be bad. I don't know if
- 0:41Speaker 2: I want to do the show We Hate USA has.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Did you say somebody sent toe fungus to someone else?
- 0:51Speaker 3: No, okay, that's what I cured tol fungus.
- 0:55Speaker 1: And like some of the money to somebody.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Okay, I thought you mean he cured it, like he's
- 1:00Speaker 2: salted it down and then and then.
- 1:04Speaker 1: And then.
- 1:05Speaker 3: No, my guys, Steve created the medicine. Okay, all right,
- 1:10Speaker 3: all right, I'm back on forward. I'm back in the chambers.
- 1:12Speaker 3: I'm back gabbling. It's a little bit of a misleading
- 1:15Speaker 3: intro by me. You curate get some pink. Ste was
- 1:19Speaker 3: all over the place and he dropped that little nugget
- 1:21Speaker 3: of truth halfway through the case and I just it
- 1:24Speaker 3: stuck with me.
- 1:25Speaker 2: That feels like I should go first, is what that
- 1:27Speaker 2: feels like, because I want to be welcome to It's
- 1:29Speaker 2: great to be here.
- 1:30Speaker 3: It's going to be back for those of you, those
- 1:31Speaker 3: who first time, welcome into the chambers.
- 1:33Speaker 1: It's a wonderful place to be.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Danny and I we love TV courtroom shows from a
- 1:38Speaker 3: Judge Judy to Judge Gino.
- 1:40Speaker 1: We love them all and we.
- 1:44Speaker 3: All we watch them and we tell the other person
- 1:47Speaker 3: about the case we watch and then they try to
- 1:49Speaker 3: guess and then we do the same thing two for
- 1:51Speaker 3: one one special. That is yo, Gavel Dan, I'll let
- 1:55Speaker 3: you go first. Who are we going today?
- 1:56Speaker 2: Growing to my boy, Judge Matthies's chambers. This is a
- 2:01Speaker 2: case you need to know. This is the case from
- 2:02Speaker 2: two thousand and eight that's gonna come into play if
- 2:05Speaker 2: you if you didn't know it was from two thousand
- 2:09Speaker 2: and eight to actually it might be from two thousand
- 2:11Speaker 2: and seven.
- 2:11Speaker 1: If you didn't know that.
- 2:14Speaker 2: You would be very confused by it would be a
- 2:16Speaker 2: record scratch moment in the case. Okay, you'll know immediately
- 2:19Speaker 2: when you hear it. I promise a right, Anaria Street
- 2:22Speaker 2: is suing Vette Hemphill for four hundred and twenty five
- 2:26Speaker 2: dollars for repayment of a plane ticket. So you go
- 2:30Speaker 2: up to fourth, take a right on fifth and set
- 2:33Speaker 2: Naria Street and then if you drive over two streets
- 2:36Speaker 2: there's a cul de sact.
- 2:37Speaker 1: That's Evet hemp Hill.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Got it?
- 2:41Speaker 1: Come on, I kidding me right now, Come on, this
- 2:48Speaker 1: wet we take last week off.
- 2:50Speaker 2: We couldn't it couldn't quite tiled it in right there,
- 2:56Speaker 2: right there? Oh all right, Anaria Street says, a couple
- 3:03Speaker 2: of years ago, Evette and I met through a mutual friend. Uh,
- 3:08Speaker 2: and I brought her with me today. She's my witness, Danielle.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Danielle's over there, like, hey, we love her. It's like, uh,
- 3:13Speaker 2: Evatt and I are pretty good friends. We'd shop, we'd party,
- 3:16Speaker 2: we'd take trips to Detroit, hang out at Belle Isle.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Mathis tells us where Belle Isle is. Apparently they each
- 3:22Speaker 2: lived outside of Detroit, but Detroit was where they go
- 3:24Speaker 2: to the clubs. And she was like, we only stopped
- 3:26Speaker 2: talking because of a boy. And Judge Mathis is like
- 3:30Speaker 2: a boy he was of age, right, and thanks, thanks
- 3:35Speaker 2: Judge and Evette says, yeah, he was actually too much
- 3:38Speaker 2: of a man. EV's like, well, yeah, whatever, I don't
- 3:42Speaker 2: even know what that's supposed to mean.
- 3:46Speaker 1: That says, you're on her every weekend.
- 3:49Speaker 2: We were in the club in Detroit whatever whatever club
- 3:52Speaker 2: was open. We were there club and uh Danielle while
- 3:57Speaker 2: three of us were there. Danielle had a kid. So
- 3:59Speaker 2: then me and I I already became really close just
- 4:01Speaker 2: going out to the club. We go to Detroit like
- 4:03Speaker 2: every weekend. At this point, Mathis says, how old are y'all?
- 4:07Speaker 2: And they say twenty three, almost twenty four. And he says,
- 4:09Speaker 2: my daughters are around your age. You don't ever see
- 4:11Speaker 2: them down there?
- 4:12Speaker 4: Do you?
- 4:13Speaker 1: And I don't know what she looks like.
- 4:14Speaker 2: If that is like, I don't, I don't know, And
- 4:16Speaker 2: he goes, you ever see Jade or Kamara Mathis down there?
- 4:19Speaker 2: You let me know and you tell them that you're
- 4:22Speaker 2: calling me judge Matthis.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Doesn't even want his daughters to go to a club
- 4:26Speaker 3: at all.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't get it. If you can
- 4:28Speaker 1: go to a club and still be responsible adult.
- 4:30Speaker 3: It's ridiculous, ridiculous anyway, if that says and later he
- 4:35Speaker 3: makes it comment about his son, like, I'm not worried
- 4:37Speaker 3: about my son.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I'm like, Mathis, what are you doing?
- 4:41Speaker 3: Cony and by your definition you love Mathis, but put
- 4:46Speaker 3: me in a tough spot there, brand I'm a fan
- 4:49Speaker 3: of the television program Judge Mathis, I mean human being
- 4:52Speaker 3: Judge matthis what he stands for? If that says basically,
- 4:56Speaker 3: I thought she was my good friend and I found
- 4:58Speaker 3: out she slept with my boyfriend. Anaria me is like,
- 5:01Speaker 3: I didn't. I didn't do that. I didn't sleep with
- 5:02Speaker 3: her boyfriend. Matthi's like, what convinces you that she was
- 5:06Speaker 3: doing that?
- 5:06Speaker 2: And Ivette says, I got a call from my boyfriend saying,
- 5:09Speaker 2: you better come get your girl. She's crazy. She just
- 5:11Speaker 2: sent the police up to my job. And and Mathews
- 5:16Speaker 2: too much of a man, that's right, yes, yeah, the
- 5:18Speaker 2: boy And then Mathis goes, why what what? And and uh,
- 5:23Speaker 2: event says my boyfriend goes She's saying I took a
- 5:26Speaker 2: bunch of naked photos of her, which I didn't and
- 5:30Speaker 2: and then I said, well, if you were taking photos
- 5:32Speaker 2: of her, then you were sleeping with her, and that's
- 5:35Speaker 2: a problem. And he hung up the phone. So then
- 5:38Speaker 2: she calls up. Then she remembers, uh.
- 5:42Speaker 1: She said.
- 5:42Speaker 2: A few weeks ago, I talked to Anaria and Anaria
- 5:45Speaker 2: said she had found she was talking to a boy
- 5:47Speaker 2: on MySpace. Yes, she described him, and I was like,
- 5:51Speaker 2: that's that's my boyfriend who you're describing. And then they
- 5:53Speaker 2: realized it and she said she wouldn't go any further,
- 5:56Speaker 2: wouldn't go to drinks with him, with him or anything.
- 6:00Speaker 2: So then I called This was a few weeks ago.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I called him up and I was like, where are
- 6:03Speaker 2: you hitting on my friend? And she's in my top eight,
- 6:06Speaker 2: so you know she's my friend.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Heck, yeah, yeah, Clari's crystal.
- 6:11Speaker 3: And there's nothing more legally binding than on my top
- 6:14Speaker 3: ep eight top eight.
- 6:15Speaker 2: She was in my top eight, your honor, you know
- 6:17Speaker 2: she was my friend. He had to know she was
- 6:19Speaker 2: my friend. But apparently, even though I got mad at
- 6:23Speaker 2: both of them and an Anaria, well, Anaria just said
- 6:26Speaker 2: she wouldn't go any further, she did, and basically from
- 6:29Speaker 2: July through October they were messing around and I found
- 6:32Speaker 2: out about it.
- 6:32Speaker 3: While she was still in her top eight top eight,
- 6:35Speaker 3: and she was unbelievable. Tom would never uh. Tom's and
- 6:40Speaker 3: Tom's pretty nuts. Tom's pretty nuts, pretty nuts, so much
- 6:43Speaker 3: of a man. Anari is like, uh, if that is
- 6:46Speaker 3: such an exaggerator, your honor. That was not her boyfriend.
- 6:49Speaker 3: She seems to think if you get a boy's number,
- 6:51Speaker 3: then your boyfriend and girlfriend. They never had a serious
- 6:54Speaker 3: relationship when they dated. It was years before i'd even
- 6:58Speaker 3: met them, met him or or her, either one of them.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I wasn't trying to make him my boyfriend. Yeah, we
- 7:04Speaker 3: would date occasionally from July to October. He'd take me
- 7:07Speaker 3: and my friends out. He'd pay for everything. Of course,
- 7:09Speaker 3: who wouldn't want to have somebody like that around from
- 7:11Speaker 3: time to time? And then he'd take na good pictures
- 7:13Speaker 3: of me without my CONSI we'll get there, and no, no,
- 7:15Speaker 3: we'll get there.
- 7:16Speaker 1: We'll get there. Yeah. Then Yvette did.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Know that I went to have drinks with him after
- 7:21Speaker 2: meeting him on mine with him after meeting him on MySpace.
- 7:24Speaker 2: She knew about it, and I told her I was
- 7:26Speaker 2: gonna do it. I didn't say I wouldn't. I said
- 7:27Speaker 2: I would. To me, that wasn't her concern. She's a partier.
- 7:32Speaker 2: She gets dud's numbers and and mass is like, what
- 7:35Speaker 2: are you saying about your friends. She's like, I'm not
- 7:36Speaker 2: saying anything about my friend. She doesn't sleep with all
- 7:38Speaker 2: of them. She just is all about like going out
- 7:40Speaker 2: to the club and like getting guys numbers, and there's
- 7:42Speaker 2: nothing wrong with it. And uh, Mass is like, well,
- 7:45Speaker 2: was it or boy her boyfriend or not. Honaria says
- 7:49Speaker 2: it was not. Ivette says it was, but it also
- 7:52Speaker 2: doesn't matter if it was or not. We'd been kicking
- 7:54Speaker 2: it on and off for three years and she knew that.
- 7:58Speaker 2: So we were on and off for three years. She
- 8:00Speaker 2: knew we're friends, and this is this is a guy
- 8:03Speaker 2: I've been seeing on and off for three years.
- 8:05Speaker 3: She shouldn't have been with him, and she told me
- 8:06Speaker 3: she would listen. I know, I will you And we're bros, right,
- 8:10Speaker 3: we bros. We know bro co bro code.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I don't know how.
- 8:12Speaker 3: I don't know how it works on the other side,
- 8:14Speaker 3: but I would assume the same thing that you don't
- 8:16Speaker 3: do that. You don't do that, don't if you know
- 8:19Speaker 3: that your friend is on and off with this guy.
- 8:21Speaker 3: But you know, this is why I think she brings
- 8:23Speaker 3: Danielle in, which we'll get to a little bit. Honaria says,
- 8:25Speaker 3: it wasn't your Honor, we're not sisters. We partied together.
- 8:29Speaker 3: She did not date this guy. I don't know how
- 8:31Speaker 3: she explained this.
- 8:32Speaker 2: If that goes to the club, she gets the boy's
- 8:33Speaker 2: number and all of a sudden thinks that you can't
- 8:35Speaker 2: talk to him. It's crazy. And Maths is like, you're
- 8:39Speaker 2: but you knew she was with this guy, and Anari
- 8:41Speaker 2: is like, I did not know that, your Honor.
- 8:43Speaker 3: When he reached out to me on MySpace, I knew
- 8:45Speaker 3: nothing about this guy. I found out later that he
- 8:50Speaker 3: had a prior relationship with her, but I didn't know
- 8:52Speaker 3: it at the time he reached out to me on MySpace.
- 8:54Speaker 1: So this is what about these pictures?
- 8:56Speaker 2: And uh, she says, well, you gotta know first of all,
- 9:01Speaker 2: there are no pictures.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You need to know.
- 9:05Speaker 2: You know, well, she said, we both found out. We
- 9:08Speaker 2: found out since all this went down, since the family trip,
- 9:10Speaker 2: since the which we're gonna get to, since the flight,
- 9:13Speaker 2: since the stuff. The reason that we're here is she
- 9:15Speaker 2: owes me money for a flight. Yes, we found out
- 9:18Speaker 2: after all of this that he was playing both of
- 9:21Speaker 2: us and he was still with his baby's mother. And
- 9:26Speaker 2: when I found out he was with his baby's mother,
- 9:30Speaker 2: which was before the trip, So that didn't make any sense.
- 9:33Speaker 2: It's before that. It has to before the trip. Someone's
- 9:35Speaker 2: someone's time on is off and he doesn't call her
- 9:37Speaker 2: on it.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Whatever. She says, when I found out, Uh no, no, no.
- 9:42Speaker 2: This it had to be before we go. When I
- 9:44Speaker 2: when I found out that he was still with his
- 9:46Speaker 2: baby's mother, I called.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Him on it.
- 9:48Speaker 3: There's nothing funny about you saying babies mother, baby's mother,
- 9:50Speaker 3: that's what That's how they said it. Baby, that's right.
- 9:54Speaker 3: When I called him to be like, hey, you're you're
- 9:56Speaker 3: you're messing around on me. What are you doing?
- 10:00Speaker 1: He said?
- 10:01Speaker 2: He said, I took pictures of you without you knowing
- 10:06Speaker 2: whoa to silence me from telling her. Oh, he said,
- 10:11Speaker 2: if you tell her, then I'm going to release these pictures.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Oh that's called blackmail. And I wasn't having it, so
- 10:18Speaker 2: I called the police. So why aren't we suing him?
- 10:21Speaker 2: Gret listen. Mathis does bring this up? Mathis does bring
- 10:25Speaker 2: this up. Mathis says, why does she owe you money?
- 10:28Speaker 2: And she says, well, we were all going to Trinidad
- 10:31Speaker 2: for vacation. My whole family was going to Trinida.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Baga. I think just Trinida I don't think Tobago got mixed,
- 10:36Speaker 1: just Trinida and uh, we're all going there.
- 10:40Speaker 2: And my mom used her credit card to buy everyone's
- 10:43Speaker 2: ticket with the verbal agreement for me an event that
- 10:46Speaker 2: we would pay.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Her back for our tickets. The tickets were five hundred
- 10:50Speaker 1: and seventy five dollars each.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Her mom paid for it, her mom paid for the
- 10:53Speaker 3: credit and they're both gonna pay the mom back.
- 10:55Speaker 1: That's exactly right.
- 10:56Speaker 2: So if that didn't make any payments on it for
- 10:58Speaker 2: the first two months, my mom was like, hey, she
- 11:00Speaker 2: hasn't paid me any money. I called her. She said
- 11:02Speaker 2: she was going to pay pay it. She did pay
- 11:04Speaker 2: one hundred and fifty dollars of it. So five seventy
- 11:06Speaker 2: five downe to four twenty five.
- 11:07Speaker 1: You with me so far? Yeah, but to be clear,
- 11:09Speaker 1: she's suing her for the money that she owes her mom.
- 11:11Speaker 2: We'll get there, I promise, all right, And then she
- 11:14Speaker 2: says a vet also knew that these tickets were non refundable.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Ivet says, I did not know they were non refundable,
- 11:19Speaker 2: and I hate that, but I actually, like I would
- 11:23Speaker 2: have loved to have gone on the trip I was
- 11:25Speaker 2: about to do my passport. I was I was gonna
- 11:27Speaker 2: pay for my passport, make another payment on the ticket.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I find out about the fact that she's seeing this
- 11:32Speaker 2: guy and I'm not going on a trip with somebody
- 11:34Speaker 2: that calls me her friend, but then sees my man,
- 11:36Speaker 2: I'm not doing that, and so I didn't ask to
- 11:38Speaker 2: the money back that I had spent. I just wasn't
- 11:41Speaker 2: going to pay her any more money period. So she
- 11:45Speaker 2: does admit to saying she'd pay her back, but it
- 11:47Speaker 2: also was there's no contract. So Mathews, because did you
- 11:52Speaker 2: try to discuss this with an aria Evet says, I
- 11:54Speaker 2: called her. I tried to talk it through on why
- 11:57Speaker 2: I wasn't going, and Mathis goes, but the ticket had
- 12:00Speaker 2: already been purchased. If that says, I had no proof
- 12:02Speaker 2: that the ticket had already been purchased. I was told
- 12:04Speaker 2: how much the tickets were going to be and that
- 12:07Speaker 2: I needed to pay that money back. I did not
- 12:10Speaker 2: see an email, a sheet of paper, a picture. I
- 12:12Speaker 2: saw nothing that the ticket was actually purchased, but I
- 12:15Speaker 2: was told how much it was going to cost, and
- 12:17Speaker 2: I started paying on it. I didn't know if they bought.
- 12:19Speaker 1: The tickets or not. Well, surely there's proof in the cart.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Anaria said she never asked for proof of your honor,
- 12:23Speaker 2: but we could have given her proof. Danielle gets up
- 12:26Speaker 2: an Aari's witness and says, good morning, your honor. I'm
- 12:29Speaker 2: the one that introduced them. Basically, Danielle is just there
- 12:32Speaker 2: to say if that and I aren't very close either.
- 12:34Speaker 2: We also had a falling out because of a boy,
- 12:37Speaker 2: and same exact thing. Ivet goes to the club, she
- 12:40Speaker 2: pulls all these numbers and then if you are talking
- 12:43Speaker 2: to this boy, she gets upset at you. It's what
- 12:46Speaker 2: she does. That was basically the whole extent of her testimony.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Anaria is like, you know, if that exchanges numbers with
- 12:54Speaker 2: somebody and all of a sudden they're hers, we can't
- 12:56Speaker 2: contact them.
- 12:57Speaker 1: That's my whole proof. And matters like how much does
- 12:59Speaker 1: she still eve?
- 13:01Speaker 2: Anaria's like tickets five to seventy five, she paid one fifty,
- 13:03Speaker 2: she ohs four to twenty five vet. Anaria has in
- 13:06Speaker 2: the courtroom her mom's credit card statement, the airline credit
- 13:10Speaker 2: statement and ticket that was purchased, and a notarized statement
- 13:14Speaker 2: from her mom stating that Anaria has paid the full
- 13:17Speaker 2: amount to her mom, including a vent's ticket. So okay, Anaria,
- 13:22Speaker 2: her mom on her on behalf of a vet is
- 13:25Speaker 2: asking for a repayment.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Judge Matth is ready to rule.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Yeah, man, she is gonna owe that money at the
- 13:31Speaker 3: end of the day. All of this about a.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Man and pictures and.
- 13:36Speaker 3: What she does at the club, that it's all a
- 13:39Speaker 3: smoke screen window drove.
- 13:40Speaker 1: That matters.
- 13:42Speaker 3: She told her that she'd pay her back, and we
- 13:45Speaker 3: know that she had the intention of doing so because
- 13:48Speaker 3: she has paid back some of it.
- 13:50Speaker 1: She's gonna have to pay back the rest of that month.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Yeah, Matthew says. Good news is is you have twelve
- 13:54Speaker 2: months to use this credit. You're not paying for nothing.
- 13:56Speaker 2: You're paying for a five hundred and seventy five dollars
- 13:58Speaker 2: flight that you still get to you but you o
- 14:01Speaker 2: are the money.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Here's your credit. That's the ruling in favor of the planet.
- 14:04Speaker 3: All then, all done. There you go, that's a good one.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Let's have on to the poop.
- 14:09Speaker 2: But let's head over to the to say the poop basket.
- 14:21Speaker 1: What's your problem? Man, brother?
- 14:25Speaker 2: The people's score want you run a van haam pill
- 14:27Speaker 2: if you just go around the round run back.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Yeah, there, Well, that's a nice thing about Coult sax.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Yeah, and you're back in the other direction, and you'll
- 14:35Speaker 3: get back there the old poop back. Let's get to
- 14:38Speaker 3: the people. Let's get to the people's court. The people's
- 14:42Speaker 3: court would judge.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Mill Yon dip it Wow.
- 14:47Speaker 3: I want to introduce you to Stephen. I want to
- 14:53Speaker 3: introduce you to Stephen. Vallas Bear who is suing? Yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 3: vallis Bear val Us Spear, Vallas spear how v A
- 15:05Speaker 3: L L E s p I R Vallas spear, he
- 15:12Speaker 3: is suing Tamika no last name for four hundred and
- 15:15Speaker 3: seventy four stars. Yes, are you ready? I'm ready. Stephen
- 15:22Speaker 3: met to Meika. Stephen met Tomika on September eleventh, coming.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Not that September eleventh.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Stephen met to Meka on September eleventh, coming back from
- 15:43Speaker 3: his part time job at the home Depot in the
- 15:45Speaker 3: garden department.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Okay, are we ready? You're ready, We're all ready. It's
- 16:00Speaker 1: the Pupil's Court. It's nine to eleven. Are we ready?
- 16:05Speaker 1: Are we ready? Stephen?
- 16:07Speaker 3: Stephen met Tamika on September eleventh, coming back from his
- 16:12Speaker 3: part time job at the home Depot where he works
- 16:14Speaker 3: in the garden department. She guts off at the same
- 16:19Speaker 3: bus stop as him and shares with him that it
- 16:22Speaker 3: is her birthday, that's.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Why I guess they remember the date.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Yeah, never forget, and that she has no one to
- 16:34Speaker 3: spend it with. She has no one to spend her
- 16:36Speaker 3: birthday with. And so Stephen feels bad about this and
- 16:39Speaker 3: they get to talking. He finds out that she was
- 16:43Speaker 3: recently struck by a vehicle. She was hit by a truck.
- 16:48Speaker 3: So she's got a lot going on.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Hit by a truck. She's hit by a truck. She's
- 16:51Speaker 1: hit by a truck. Lingering injury. Yeah, yeah, yeah, she's
- 16:55Speaker 1: gonna he's gonna help her get on disability. We'll get okay,
- 16:58Speaker 1: all right. But she's just like talking about herself a
- 17:00Speaker 1: little bit.
- 17:01Speaker 3: You know, And so she she's got nothing going on
- 17:03Speaker 3: in her life, and so he's like, let me take
- 17:05Speaker 3: you out to Kentucky Fried Chicken for your birthday, and
- 17:10Speaker 3: that's what we do around here, and we can celebrate
- 17:16Speaker 3: your birthday. We then find out after where you know,
- 17:18Speaker 3: he finds out about the incident with the truck and
- 17:22Speaker 3: about her disabilities, and he offers to fill out the
- 17:24Speaker 3: paperwork for her.
- 17:27Speaker 1: She asks if a judge.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Million asks if they're dating, and Steven says no, he
- 17:33Speaker 3: just likes to help people. He helps her fill out
- 17:37Speaker 3: papers for disability because he's done it before. He's also
- 17:40Speaker 3: on disability, which is why he can only work part
- 17:42Speaker 3: time at home depot in the garden department. And so
- 17:46Speaker 3: they developed a friendship and she starts coming over, he
- 17:50Speaker 3: starts making supper.
- 17:52Speaker 1: They start watching.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Movies and he says that he had recently moved to
- 17:57Speaker 3: Long Island, didn't have many friends. It's there, and it
- 18:01Speaker 3: was just nice to have someone to hang out with.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Stephen is like I would say, somewhere in his sixties.
- 18:11Speaker 3: He's a sixty year old fella. Tamika also probably around
- 18:16Speaker 3: that same age, and so he, you know, moving Long Onland,
- 18:19Speaker 3: didn't have any friends.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Tamika, Yeah, nice.
- 18:23Speaker 3: So her grandfather passes away and she wants to go
- 18:26Speaker 3: to Virginia for the funeral and doesn't have the money
- 18:30Speaker 3: to do so, either does he, and so he decides
- 18:34Speaker 3: to get some money from his friends and his daughter
- 18:38Speaker 3: to help send her on a bus to get to
- 18:41Speaker 3: grandfather's funeral. A few weeks later, he has absolutely nothing left.
- 18:47Speaker 3: He has no money, and she asks why. Judge Million
- 18:51Speaker 3: asks why why he is doing this if he has nothing,
- 18:55Speaker 3: and he says, this may sound strange, Judge, but I'm
- 18:58Speaker 3: an eagle scout and I have made an oath to
- 19:06Speaker 3: help others, and I do that. I have lots of
- 19:08Speaker 3: examples of helping people over the years. She asks what
- 19:11Speaker 3: he did before he was disabled, and he said, for
- 19:14Speaker 3: twenty years, I developed medicines, the biggest one being the
- 19:18Speaker 3: cure for toenail fungus.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Maybe you've heard about it, Dan.
- 19:22Speaker 3: And eventually his department was downsized and now he can't
- 19:26Speaker 3: find a job in that field because he has gray hair. Okay,
- 19:32Speaker 3: So she asked him if Emilion asked, Hey, were you
- 19:38Speaker 3: like attracted to her? And he says, to me, is
- 19:43Speaker 3: very smart, nice lady, and yes she's attractive. I did
- 19:48Speaker 3: mention to her that it would be interesting if maybe
- 19:52Speaker 3: possibly one day she could maybe become my wife.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Okay, I don't know, I he says. I'm a single person.
- 20:01Speaker 3: And you know, it just depends on if someone falls
- 20:05Speaker 3: in love with the other person, and so Judge Million says,
- 20:09Speaker 3: and if not, it just matters if you have the
- 20:11Speaker 3: receipts right. The crowd laughs. Stephen doesn't get it. That's
- 20:17Speaker 3: tough to Meika backs up most of the story September eleventh,
- 20:23Speaker 3: KFC birthday paperwork for the disability. She asks if she
- 20:31Speaker 3: is in the middle of a lawsuit for getting hit
- 20:34Speaker 3: by a truck, and she says, in fact, I am,
- 20:37Speaker 3: and that is why he's suing me. He knows I'm
- 20:39Speaker 3: about to get some money and he wants some of it.
- 20:43Speaker 3: She asks if he did indeed give her money, and
- 20:47Speaker 3: she says that he gave me fifty dollars before I
- 20:51Speaker 3: went on the trip. I didn't go on a bus
- 20:54Speaker 3: though I went in my cousin's car. He gave me
- 20:56Speaker 3: fifty dollars before I left to be nice.
- 21:00Speaker 1: And she says at any point in time did he
- 21:03Speaker 1: use the word loan?
- 21:04Speaker 3: And she says no, he just likes helping people. She
- 21:08Speaker 3: asks if he was sweet on her. I don't really
- 21:12Speaker 3: like the terminology there, but judge million.
- 21:15Speaker 1: And she says that he tried.
- 21:17Speaker 3: You know, he wanted me to be his girlfriend, potentially
- 21:21Speaker 3: be his wife. She asks if they ever kissed, to
- 21:25Speaker 3: which Tamika says no, because I don't do kissing.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Okay, all right, Tomika.
- 21:31Speaker 3: And she just he says that he called her his
- 21:36Speaker 3: black fiance to his friends, but he never put a
- 21:40Speaker 3: ring on my finger, so I wasn't his fiance. She
- 21:43Speaker 3: asked how she knows that he called her that, and
- 21:48Speaker 3: she says that she found an email to one of
- 21:50Speaker 3: his bodies. So she confronted it about it, and it's like, Steve, listen,
- 21:54Speaker 3: I am black, but I am not your fiance.
- 21:57Speaker 1: And so she began to notice that.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Obviously he's getting a bit more at ten hatched, and
- 22:01Speaker 3: she tells him that there's nothing going on here.
- 22:05Speaker 1: So apparently, in.
- 22:07Speaker 3: The paperwork that Steve submitted to the court, he claims
- 22:10Speaker 3: that he bought Tamika two wigs. She claims, it doesn't
- 22:14Speaker 3: it didn't happen. I don't wear wigs. I might wear weaves,
- 22:18Speaker 3: but I don't wear wigs. He asks uh. He says
- 22:23Speaker 3: that she asks for one hundred dollars once to buy
- 22:25Speaker 3: a wig, and he says, I'm not an expert on wigs.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Then another forty dollars for another wig, and he says,
- 22:32Speaker 3: as you'll see in the packet that I presented, her
- 22:35Speaker 3: mom is in the wig business, and I suspect that
- 22:37Speaker 3: she just wanted to support.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Her mom by buying wigs.
- 22:41Speaker 3: She asks, Uh, Tomika, did he ever buy you cigarettes
- 22:46Speaker 3: or give you money for nails? She says, no, he
- 22:49Speaker 3: gave me fifty dollars and that's it. We then get
- 22:53Speaker 3: them the email that she actually submitted, where he wrote
- 22:57Speaker 3: to his medical buddy, where he was asking for advice
- 23:02Speaker 3: on how to help his black fiance with some skin
- 23:07Speaker 3: problem that she was having in her back. He says,
- 23:10Speaker 3: let me explain. One of my best friends is one
- 23:14Speaker 3: of the top dermatologists in the world. I know that
- 23:17Speaker 3: Darbo would help. Shout out Darbo Darbeaux Judgementlyon then begins
- 23:23Speaker 3: to ask, but why did you call her your fiance?
- 23:27Speaker 1: He won't answer.
- 23:29Speaker 3: He keeps trying to explain that Darboux was trying to
- 23:33Speaker 3: help give her give him advice on what he could
- 23:37Speaker 3: put on her, and it's just like, but why, but why,
- 23:41Speaker 3: but why, and he just like won't let it go. Finally,
- 23:44Speaker 3: he answers that he calls her his fiance because she
- 23:47Speaker 3: told him that the possibility existed that maybe one day,
- 23:54Speaker 3: possibly in the future, maybe she would marry him, So
- 23:59Speaker 3: it just seemed like I should call her my fiance.
- 24:03Speaker 1: To my buddy, Darboux, Uh.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Do you have any text or emails that show that
- 24:10Speaker 3: she was going to pay you back for money. He says,
- 24:13Speaker 3: I do not have a sign note from her. What
- 24:16Speaker 3: I do have his letters from my friends and my
- 24:18Speaker 3: daughter where I explain what's going on, but nothing with her.
- 24:23Speaker 3: She points out that the email to Darboux shout out, Darboux,
- 24:28Speaker 3: you mentioned giving backrubs. And he says, yes, I did
- 24:31Speaker 3: give her back rubs.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 24:32Speaker 3: And she says, well, that does sound friendly to Mika.
- 24:36Speaker 3: And she says, Tomika, you knew he liked you. Why'd
- 24:40Speaker 3: you keep taking stuff from him? And she says he's
- 24:43Speaker 3: a nice guy and he wants to help, so I
- 24:47Speaker 3: let him. Yeah, And Judge Million, he's ready to rule.
- 24:51Speaker 1: At the end of the day.
- 24:52Speaker 2: She's not responsible for the fact that Steve kept helping her.
- 24:56Speaker 1: She just isn't.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Steve is missing a lot of stuff text here, but
- 25:03Speaker 2: she doesn't owe any money to Steve.
- 25:07Speaker 1: There's no way that she owes money to Steve. Uh.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Judge Million says, Steve, you're a good looking guy, you're
- 25:14Speaker 3: a smart man. You don't have to buy affection. You
- 25:19Speaker 3: just have to shop at the right stuff. That she says,
- 25:24Speaker 3: I don't hear anything that leads me to believe that
- 25:27Speaker 3: there was any legally binding agreement to pay you back.
- 25:32Speaker 3: So you are getting no money. Steve walks outside, wombo,
- 25:41Speaker 3: Oh Steve, Oh Steve, Steve, Steve. That's tough there, you
- 25:46Speaker 3: got two court cases every shut out to talk. Oh
- 25:50Speaker 3: my god, listen, sometimes you gotta email your buddy, and
- 25:55Speaker 3: you know, sometimes you're like, well, she said, maybe one day.
- 25:59Speaker 1: It's just the right.
- 26:00Speaker 3: If I tell my buddy Darbo, maybe Darbo will be
- 26:03Speaker 3: happy for me.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Maybe. You know what I see here?
- 26:05Speaker 3: I see a fella Steve that clearly really wishes he
- 26:10Speaker 3: was still in the game.
- 26:11Speaker 1: You know, yea, he wishes he was in the medicine game,
- 26:15Speaker 1: and he wishes he was in the love game. And
- 26:17Speaker 1: he's not an either. He's not an either. I felt
- 26:20Speaker 1: for Steve. Steve is a was a sad man.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Sad man, and Tamika was having a lot of fun
- 26:26Speaker 3: with this case.
- 26:27Speaker 1: So there you.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Go, Judge million, Let's come back next week. Let's do
- 26:31Speaker 3: it again. Shall we love it? I think we should?
- 26:34Speaker 1: Until then, all rise yo. Gabble gabbles Up.
