- 0:30call.

- 0:37Music on repeat.
- 0:39Half hour hustle, yeah,
- 0:40we building that brand.
- 0:42Grab a plate.
- 0:43Tune in now, you part of the fam.
- 0:52It's lunch time.
- 0:57Man, that's a banger right there.
- 1:01Best song ever.
- 1:04Hey, bro.
- 1:06Only the best for our client though.
- 1:09dude we whip those Clydesdale singers into
- 1:12shape every every week practice dude Jesus
- 1:17Christ the fact that they do it live
- 1:18every week really is what gets me like
- 1:21their dedication to this show is amazing
- 1:24people don't know like I'm pulling an R
- 1:26Kelly I've got them trapped underneath my
- 1:28stairs right there and I I bring them
- 1:31out to sing the theme song every single
- 1:33week yeah
- 1:36There's a lot of this going on.
- 1:37You can't see it because we're playing the
- 1:39Cubs, but there's a whole lot of...
- 1:45They're starting to get malnutritious.
- 1:46I should probably start feeding them or
- 1:48something.
- 1:48I mean, a little bit at least.
- 1:50Throw them some pocket jerky if you give
- 1:51them nothing else.
- 1:52Yeah.
- 1:54I think that would be pretty good.
- 1:55It's funny.
- 1:56Yesterday we talked about the Schwan's
- 1:57Man,
- 1:58and I was telling the crew that yesterday
- 2:02the clip went out on some other social
- 2:04media platforms,
- 2:06and the comments I was getting were, yeah,
- 2:08I used to see the Schwan's truck,
- 2:10but it was too expensive for us,
- 2:12so we just waved as it drove by.
- 2:16You can't chase it like an ice cream
- 2:18truck and just get them to stop and
- 2:20sell you a steak or whatever.
- 2:21It's not the same type deal.
- 2:23Yeah,
- 2:23because you couldn't buy an ice cream
- 2:25cone.
- 2:25You had to buy a box of twelve.
- 2:27A box of them, right.
- 2:29Which probably would not be real conducive
- 2:31at that point.
- 2:36I do recall when I was a kid,
- 2:39it was not something we...
- 2:41stocked our house with right it was like
- 2:44there were these one or two items that
- 2:46were worth the money and those were the
- 2:49only things we would get from the
- 2:51schwanstruck and one of those was pizza
- 2:53burgers get those pizza burgers baby um so
- 3:00yeah i just i found that amusing but
- 3:03yeah dude i i've been so distracted since
- 3:07about nine o'clock this morning maybe ten
- 3:09o'clock this morning
- 3:12Nine o'clock my time,
- 3:13nine o'clock your time.
- 3:15Nine o'clock your time,
- 3:16ten o'clock my time.
- 3:17Got it, got it, got it.
- 3:18I'm trying to paint a picture here.
- 3:19Just to be clear,
- 3:23I was doing some stuff.
- 3:25My mom's coming into town and I was
- 3:26trying to get some dinner in the crock
- 3:28pot, things like that.
- 3:30I go over and I pick up my
- 3:31phone and...
- 3:35The Bears made a trade today.
- 3:37And everybody knows, like,
- 3:39I am a ginormous Bears fan.
- 3:41Bear down.
- 3:43Bear down.
- 3:47And they traded for one of the,
- 3:53he was an all,
- 3:54first team all pro last year at defensive
- 3:57tackle.
- 3:57All right.
- 3:59He is one of the,
- 4:00if not the best defensive tackle in the
- 4:02league, he's like the second best.
- 4:07And our offense is on a roll.
- 4:10Definitely clicking.
- 4:11The defense is where we're a little bit
- 4:13skittish.
- 4:14Sure.
- 4:15And this is putting a dude in the
- 4:19center of our defense to help stop the
- 4:21run and dent the pocket.
- 4:24And if you watch football,
- 4:25if you dent the pocket,
- 4:26that affects the quarterback way more than
- 4:29rushing from the outside.
- 4:30Yeah.
- 4:32Jeffrey Simmons from the Titans is coming
- 4:34to the bears.
- 4:35They gave up two first round picks for
- 4:37him.
- 4:38Those first round picks.
- 4:41And I like this,
- 4:44this means they're going all in and going
- 4:47to try to win the super bowl this
- 4:48year.
- 4:50And then when you watch the analysts,
- 4:52everybody is like,
- 4:54this changes everything.
- 4:55They are one of the two teams to
- 4:58come out of the NFC.
- 5:00Um,
- 5:02Yeah,
- 5:03and Andrew Sten's Bengals probably have
- 5:04the other defensive tackle that you would
- 5:06put in the argument.
- 5:11Dexter Lawrence.
- 5:13Those are probably the two best defensive
- 5:15tackles in the league.
- 5:17His Bengals have one.
- 5:19We have the other now.
- 5:22I am literally like floating right now.
- 5:26The only thing that sucks is I got
- 5:28to wait till Monday freaking night to see
- 5:30him on the field.
- 5:31Wow.
- 5:33You can stay up till midnight watching the
- 5:34game.
- 5:35Enjoy yourself.
- 5:38Oh, dude.
- 5:39I need to take half a day Monday
- 5:42afternoon and a half a day Tuesday morning
- 5:45just to recover from the game.
- 5:47You want me to ship you a bottle
- 5:48of Malort?
- 5:51With this trade,
- 5:53I would do a shot of Malort.
- 5:54That is how awesome this trade is.
- 5:58I can get you a bottle of Malort
- 6:00delivered to the house,
- 6:01and you can just knock yourself.
- 6:03You and Julie can just knock something
- 6:04down Monday afternoon, get the nerves off,
- 6:07get ready for it.
- 6:09Well, my wife is a diehard Steeler fan.
- 6:11She don't give two shits about Jefferson.
- 6:13I understand that,
- 6:14but she's going to have to deal with
- 6:15you is what I'm getting at.
- 6:17Yeah,
- 6:17she may go get a hotel room at
- 6:20this point.
- 6:23I have to show this because Meg is
- 6:24in the chat,
- 6:25and I love making her happy.
- 6:29That's pretty much the second tenet of
- 6:31this show,
- 6:32to not really have a clear theme and
- 6:35to make Meg happy.
- 6:38So you know Andy Agar,
- 6:40the blonde girl on social media that makes
- 6:44jokes about the NFL?
- 6:45She is so good, dude.
- 6:47I don't know if you know this about
- 6:48her.
- 6:48She's a diehard Green Bay Packers fan.
- 6:50I did know that.
- 6:53She put up a post after the trade
- 6:55today.
- 6:57I haven't seen it.
- 6:58I need to follow her.
- 7:00I'll follow her.
- 7:01Have a little coffee, go work out.
- 7:03And then I get this notification.
- 7:05The Bears got Jeffrey Simmons for two
- 7:08first-round picks.
- 7:08Last time they traded,
- 7:10two firsts was for Khalil Mack.
- 7:13This is great news.
- 7:14This is awesome.
- 7:15My only conflict is it might be an
- 7:17overpay,
- 7:18but probably not because they're getting
- 7:20an insane talented guy.
- 7:22So whatever, you know, good morning,
- 7:23Chicago.
- 7:24You know, I was.
- 7:24Good morning, Chicago.
- 7:25Oh, she's good.
- 7:35Joseph sent this into a group text I'm
- 7:37in.
- 7:38And I said, oh, my gosh,
- 7:40I love this because we got a dude.
- 7:43And I also love this because it pisses
- 7:45off every Packers fan.
- 7:46All of them.
- 7:48All of them.
- 7:51Yeah, Travis is right.
- 7:52Hope it pans out better than how the
- 7:54L.A.
- 7:54Rams D-line is going this season because
- 7:56everybody was like, oh, man.
- 7:59Undefeated.
- 8:00Undefeated.
- 8:02It turns out not so much.
- 8:06Joseph, thank you so much for sending it.
- 8:08I actually had this saved for the show
- 8:10before you sent it because my algorithm is
- 8:13sending me everything Jeffrey Simmons
- 8:14right now.
- 8:15Everything NFL.
- 8:18Here's Jeffrey Simmons as a
- 8:19three-year-old.
- 8:20Here's Jeffrey Simmons whenever he was in
- 8:21middle school.
- 8:22Would you like to see some baby pictures?
- 8:23Yeah,
- 8:23would you like to see some of his
- 8:24baby pictures?
- 8:25Here's what he ate last Saturday.
- 8:27Yeah, absolutely.
- 8:31The algorithm also works something like
- 8:33that,
- 8:33but it's not usually with football stuff.
- 8:35It's with random complete nonsense that I
- 8:38pay attention to for more than three
- 8:39seconds at a time.
- 8:40And then I just started getting all kinds
- 8:42of crazy shit.
- 8:43Why are you getting all these,
- 8:45these reels about people bending time and
- 8:48they, they live.
- 8:49They live.
- 8:50They live.
- 8:51They live.
- 8:51They live.
- 8:51They live.
- 8:52They live.
- 8:52They live.
- 8:52They live.
- 8:52They live.
- 8:53They live.
- 8:56My favorite one is the chick who was
- 8:58like going back and forth,
- 8:59like cutting herself into the dude that
- 9:01was saying that, you know,
- 9:03I'll wake up at four at four a.m.
- 9:05and from four to four twenty.
- 9:06I'm doing deep meditation and my wife
- 9:08comes on.
- 9:09We both get on a treadmill and like
- 9:11she was cutting back and forth and she
- 9:12was funny on her own.
- 9:13And then you go get into the comments
- 9:15and somebody my favorite one was somebody
- 9:18said,
- 9:19I'll wake up thirty minutes before I go
- 9:20to bed.
- 9:25yeah i uh that the one dude the
- 9:29one i sent you yesterday this morning yeah
- 9:33that dude's freaking nuts
- 9:35Yeah.
- 9:37I'm just maxing the serotonin in my brain
- 9:40and dopamine hit.
- 9:41He just buzzword after buzzword after
- 9:43buzzword.
- 9:44Not that serotonin and dopamine aren't
- 9:45things,
- 9:46but you don't get to choose to just
- 9:50increase it in your brain with nothing
- 9:53else other than the fact that you're awake
- 9:55and living your best life between six a.m.
- 9:58My day is done by noon.
- 10:00My first day is done by from six
- 10:02to whatever to noon.
- 10:03It's like, is it?
- 10:05Is it though?
- 10:06Yeah.
- 10:07Last I checked,
- 10:08no matter how much you think you can
- 10:09bend time,
- 10:10you cannot speed up the rotation of the
- 10:12earth.
- 10:14Who said, who said really?
- 10:17Cause I just pull time up into like
- 10:18a triangle in my pocket.
- 10:21What I love is, is like,
- 10:22is the guy says my second day is
- 10:24from like noon to four PM.
- 10:27And the, the,
- 10:27the guy cuts in and goes,
- 10:29that's when I nap.
- 10:30That's usually when I take a nap sometime
- 10:32right around noon.
- 10:34oh those things i love when people make
- 10:40fun of that kind of stuff because i
- 10:43get a lot of you know uh positivity
- 10:48type you know attack today life's gonna
- 10:51kill you anyway type that i enjoy right
- 10:55but i what i i enjoy even more
- 10:57than that but for completely different
- 10:58reason are those insane people
- 11:03Who are just like, you know,
- 11:05I read six books before most people wake
- 11:07up.
- 11:08And then I, you know,
- 11:09I eat forty hundred grams of protein and
- 11:11it's all clean from the best sources.
- 11:14And I go out and sun my butthole
- 11:16after that for three hours.
- 11:17And what are you doing with your life?
- 11:21Because you don't do any of that.
- 11:23I don't care who you think you are.
- 11:24Like, that's not a thing.
- 11:27If you think that person's insane,
- 11:29what about that they have like two million
- 11:32followers?
- 11:33Yeah.
- 11:34And they probably sold a million books
- 11:38because people are like,
- 11:39I need to do that.
- 11:41Yeah,
- 11:42clearly this guy has his stuff together.
- 11:43Because that is real.
- 11:44No, wait.
- 11:46That is real, right?
- 11:47Yeah.
- 11:48Let me buy your book and find out
- 11:49how I can turn my seven-day week into
- 11:52a twenty-one day.
- 11:53Twenty-one days.
- 11:54Let me follow these five steps to turn
- 11:59your week from seven days into twenty-one.
- 12:02I don't want twenty-one days in a
- 12:03seven-day week.
- 12:05I enjoy my eight hours of sleep.
- 12:07Yeah.
- 12:08You know why?
- 12:08Because I have thirdsy.
- 12:10There you go.
- 12:11You go to thirdsy.com backslash Jazzy.
- 12:14Jazzy.
- 12:15And you get fifteen percent off at
- 12:16checkout.
- 12:17That is promo code Jazzy.
- 12:20And you get fifteen percent off.
- 12:21And you can sleep eight hours a night
- 12:23like a normal human being and forget that
- 12:26there is a possibility of twenty one days
- 12:28in a work week.
- 12:29Yeah.
- 12:29Nobody wants twenty one days in a work
- 12:30week.
- 12:31Travis works for himself and he spends
- 12:34every single hour of his day working for
- 12:36Vindicate to make money to put in his
- 12:38pocket.
- 12:38I guarantee he doesn't want twenty one
- 12:39days in a week.
- 12:42I can promise you that.
- 12:43The only time that Travis would want.
- 12:45Twenty one days in the week.
- 12:47Is when he helped out Hiller.
- 12:49By selling shirts.
- 12:51And got so many damn orders.
- 12:53That he's probably like.
- 12:55Print and postage stick.
- 12:56Print and postage stick.
- 12:58I just had twenty one days.
- 13:03He actually put up.
- 13:04Either a reel or a story.
- 13:06Where he was just like.
- 13:07Each one of these is going to get
- 13:08a signed card.
- 13:09And like he showed him.
- 13:12Just doing all that.
- 13:13I was like, God bless you, dude.
- 13:15Travis is a fantastic human being.
- 13:17FYI, in case y'all did not know,
- 13:18but it's shit like that, dude.
- 13:22I want to see a signature on the
- 13:24first one compared to the signature on the
- 13:26last one.
- 13:28Or somewhere in the middle, even.
- 13:31With a line at the end.
- 13:33Yeah, absolutely.
- 13:35I signed it myself.
- 13:37I signed it myself.
- 13:39Oh, man.
- 13:40That is so good, dude.
- 13:42No lie.
- 13:42I feel like I've worked twenty one days
- 13:44this week.
- 13:44I don't doubt it, too.
- 13:45But you weren't trying to.
- 13:47That's the whole thing.
- 13:49They all look shitty.
- 13:52That's the advantage of having a shitty
- 13:54autograph.
- 13:54One hundred percent.
- 13:56You start shitty and just stay shitty.
- 13:57Yeah.
- 13:58It's managing expectations at that point.
- 14:00You understand that you sign the first one
- 14:03and just looks like a T with a
- 14:05squiggly line behind it.
- 14:06That's all you got to do for the
- 14:07rest of them.
- 14:08That's just how that's how that goes down.
- 14:12Back in the day when I was a
- 14:13kid, my dad didn't do any banking.
- 14:16My mom did all the bills,
- 14:18all the banking, all the whatever, right?
- 14:22My mom signed all my dad's checks.
- 14:25My dad didn't do shit about any of
- 14:27that.
- 14:29The one time he actually signed his own
- 14:31check,
- 14:31he took it to the bank and they
- 14:32questioned whether it was authentic.
- 14:37Mr. Schweitzer,
- 14:38this doesn't look like your signature.
- 14:40Well, I mean,
- 14:41it's got to be my signature.
- 14:42I just signed it.
- 14:45It's not what we have on file.
- 14:47It's not what we have.
- 14:48I have four hundred and eighty three other
- 14:50checks over here and none of those
- 14:52signatures look like this one.
- 14:54That is hilarious.
- 14:56Holy smokes.
- 14:57That's good right there.
- 14:58Oh, I mean, my.
- 15:02a good thing my dad passed before my
- 15:04mom because he would add a hell of
- 15:06a time one he never did any of
- 15:09that for himself two his signatures
- 15:11wouldn't have looked like anything he'd
- 15:12done before he probably would be arrested
- 15:15for fraud oh yeah hundred percent he'd be
- 15:17well well in jail all the way up
- 15:19in jail oh that's so good well as
- 15:27i'm trying to come off my high and
- 15:29i think
- 15:30Mark Phillips was backing me up here.
- 15:33Yeah.
- 15:35I know I'm late,
- 15:36but Jeffrey Simmons is a huge get.
- 15:38He was a beast in high school and
- 15:39college before the NFL.
- 15:42And he's being teamed up again with Montez
- 15:45Sweat, his college teammate,
- 15:47both on the defensive line.
- 15:49Possibly the best name in professional
- 15:51football.
- 15:53Well, there's Josh Sweat, too.
- 15:55It ain't Montez.
- 15:56It's not true.
- 15:59It ain't Montez.
- 16:02Montez is coming off a drug suspension,
- 16:04so...
- 16:07Yeah, I'm sure.
- 16:08I'm certain that he's completely drug-free
- 16:12now,
- 16:12and he's definitely not on any more
- 16:14performance-enhancing drugs whatsoever,
- 16:15and it's not affected him long-term.
- 16:19He did do an interview yesterday,
- 16:21and he said that it was an accident.
- 16:26So he only got a two-game suspension.
- 16:28If it was something that was like a
- 16:32legit PED, he would have got four.
- 16:36Oh, well.
- 16:39Four weeks instead of two.
- 16:40Yeah.
- 16:41Man.
- 16:42Because that's not going to come out of
- 16:43the system in four weeks.
- 16:46Just FYI.
- 16:49Barry McOchner wants to know, Corey,
- 16:51what number of ghosts is that for you
- 16:52today?
- 16:53Well, that is number two ghosts,
- 16:57but I also had a C-IV when I
- 16:59woke up.
- 16:59So about six hundred milligrams deep.
- 17:03Well, not quite.
- 17:03I just opened this one.
- 17:06I liked Ghost when they first came out.
- 17:08I just don't.
- 17:12I mean,
- 17:12I stopped at the grocery store this
- 17:13morning to get me a couple of those
- 17:17single-size bags of salad and some gridola
- 17:20and stuff for my desk to snack on.
- 17:22And they just happened to have Ghost up
- 17:24in there.
- 17:24And I was like, get used to those.
- 17:27Why not?
- 17:28Never mind the twelve-pack of cereal C-IV
- 17:31I got right there.
- 17:33I would also not want to get a
- 17:34Ghost.
- 17:37I need to try Gorilla Mine,
- 17:39but I've never seen it in a store
- 17:42up here.
- 17:45Actually,
- 17:45the small grocery store right by my house
- 17:49just started carrying it.
- 17:52uh which y'all don't have up there it's
- 17:54not a rouse by your house i'm sure
- 17:57two and gonzalez probably not so much in
- 17:59in uh in columbus but uh they just
- 18:03started carrying it and they had the
- 18:06swedish fish flavor they had the
- 18:10Like three or four flavors,
- 18:12something like that.
- 18:13And I like the fact that I can
- 18:13just go get it there and I don't
- 18:15have to order an entire twelve pack.
- 18:16Right.
- 18:17But I've never had a bad flavor from
- 18:18them either.
- 18:20Like the blackberry lemonade is
- 18:22outstanding.
- 18:24The white gummy bear is outstanding or
- 18:28white, whatever it's called.
- 18:30Yeah.
- 18:30I looked on Amazon like I could buy
- 18:32a twelve pack.
- 18:33I just like,
- 18:34I don't want to commit to a twelve.
- 18:36You know me.
- 18:37Oh, absolutely.
- 18:38You had to give me a money back
- 18:39guarantee for me to try serial killer.
- 18:42Right.
- 18:44And Barry says closest GNC or vitamin
- 18:50shop.
- 18:51I think all of our vitamin shops closed.
- 18:54So like all I have is.
- 18:54There used to be one.
- 18:55I don't even.
- 18:58Oh, man.
- 18:59There used to be a vitamin shop right
- 19:00there in Baton Rouge far from me,
- 19:01but I don't know if it's open anymore.
- 19:03They had a pretty good selection as well
- 19:05of stuff like at the time,
- 19:07but that was when everybody was still
- 19:08drinking bang and whatever it was.
- 19:13Yeah.
- 19:13When I was drinking bang,
- 19:14I had a problem.
- 19:16Yeah.
- 19:17A legit problem.
- 19:18I would say so too.
- 19:19I would agree.
- 19:20Yeah.
- 19:21I think we have a GNC still.
- 19:23I don't know.
- 19:24I don't go shopping in person anymore.
- 19:26Like the inconvenience of that.
- 19:28Not a fucking helmet.
- 19:30I can order my groceries on Amazon and
- 19:32they're delivered from Whole Foods to my
- 19:34house.
- 19:35And as a Prime member,
- 19:36I don't even have to pay extra.
- 19:39Like, why would I?
- 19:42And the food is so fresh.
- 19:44Like, I don't know, man.
- 19:47I just don't go shopping in person unless
- 19:49I absolutely have to.
- 19:51Because then I don't have to deal with
- 19:52people.
- 19:53That is correct.
- 19:54I don't have to deal with the public.
- 19:57Not a big fan of the public.
- 19:58And I talk to the public every single
- 20:00day, but it's through a phone.
- 20:01Not in person, as a general rule.
- 20:04That's way easier to do.
- 20:07Vicky says they make variety packs.
- 20:09Yeah,
- 20:09but I know that they have a root
- 20:10beer flavor.
- 20:11And as discussed yesterday,
- 20:14the minute I see root beer,
- 20:15it's open can, dump down drain.
- 20:22One, it doesn't taste like beer.
- 20:25And two, I don't like root.
- 20:27Doesn't taste like root,
- 20:29which you also do not want,
- 20:31I'm pretty sure.
- 20:33Unless it's a root vegetable,
- 20:34which you still don't want,
- 20:35because I don't want any potato flavored
- 20:36beverage at all, if I can help it.
- 20:39I think the closest thing I've ever had
- 20:40to a potato flavored beverage is vodka.
- 20:43And nobody's like,
- 20:44we don't want vodka flavored in our
- 20:46caffeine drinks.
- 20:47That's probably not a good idea.
- 20:51Just potato rainbows.
- 20:52Just potato rainbows.
- 20:53Taste the potato rainbow.
- 20:54So vodka with Skittles dumped in it.
- 20:57Yes.
- 21:00Oh, there you go.
- 21:01Amanda right there.
- 21:01Gorilla Mountain Root Beer is fantastic.
- 21:06amanda come on i thought we were friends
- 21:10i'm gonna tell you something so going back
- 21:12to like when we talk about drinking bangs
- 21:14it just it just popped to mind all-time
- 21:17favorite flavor when i was in that bang
- 21:20rain you know that when that was basically
- 21:23your two options as far as i was
- 21:24concerned rain made a jalapeno strawberry
- 21:28flavored rain and i i see your face
- 21:33and i understand
- 21:36I understand where your thoughts at,
- 21:37but I'm telling you right now,
- 21:39if I would run across kind of like,
- 21:42you know,
- 21:42how people were like found like twelve
- 21:43packs of Crystal Pepsi that and they were
- 21:46selling it on freaking Amazon or eBay or
- 21:48whatever,
- 21:49because like they've been having it since
- 21:50nineteen ninety three.
- 21:51If somebody had a twelve pack of
- 21:53strawberry jalapeno rain,
- 21:55I would buy it right now.
- 21:57Sight unseen does not matter.
- 22:00That stuff was amazing.
- 22:02I'm with Omar.
- 22:06I don't want to drink my spice.
- 22:11I love spicy chicken wings.
- 22:14I have pickled jalapenos all the time.
- 22:17I love spicy food.
- 22:21I do not want to drink spicy.
- 22:23When they came out with the jalapeno beer,
- 22:25I wanted to gag.
- 22:30Yes,
- 22:30Mark Phillips would drink a strawberry
- 22:33jalapeno rain out of the community
- 22:36football.
- 22:36Yes, I would.
- 22:37That is a fact.
- 22:39That is a fact.
- 22:39See, look, Travis gets it.
- 22:42oh habanero mango fuego c-four it's good
- 22:45dude it's not it's not spicy like you
- 22:48would have it's kind of like okay so
- 22:52i got you to try the the the
- 22:54cereal serial killer c-four right yeah but
- 22:57but on its surface i love that's it
- 23:01right there yes vicky yeah
- 23:04i don't want to drink inferno i'll eat
- 23:07inferno i don't want to drink it it
- 23:09wasn't it wasn't spicy like that it had
- 23:12a it was it's hard to explain dude
- 23:15it was so good oh my god it
- 23:16was so good when they when they came
- 23:20out with jalapeno beer and i was doing
- 23:24a beer podcast back in the day i
- 23:26was trying everything yeah i and i
- 23:30It is very rare that I actually dump
- 23:32a beer.
- 23:32Like,
- 23:32if I actually got a glass of beer,
- 23:34I would finish it just out of principle.
- 23:37Right.
- 23:37Jalapeno beer, down the drain.
- 23:41I can understand that.
- 23:42I wouldn't want a jalapeno beer either.
- 23:45But I am,
- 23:48I will die on this hill.
- 23:50That's, that,
- 23:51if you want to bring the picture back
- 23:53up,
- 23:53that strawberry jalapeno rain was
- 23:57outstanding.
- 23:59And I would buy a twelve-pack right now,
- 24:01sight unseen.
- 24:03I'd send somebody fourteen dollars for it
- 24:05or whatever it would cost,
- 24:06twenty-five bucks right now,
- 24:07and they'd just be like, I got it.
- 24:10And I would send it to them in
- 24:11hopes that they would actually send it to
- 24:14me.
- 24:15Sorry, I'm just reading Joseph's comment.
- 24:17Malort is less than everything else.
- 24:19I completely, completely agree, Joseph.
- 24:24But if doing a shot of Malort gets
- 24:26me Jeffrey Simmons...
- 24:28bring it on.
- 24:29Maybe that's what the catalyst was.
- 24:31Maybe it was.
- 24:32Me and my wife doing a shot of
- 24:34Malort outside of Lambeau Field.
- 24:39Jeffrey Simmons.
- 24:40It's the butterfly effect.
- 24:45Travis's Cereal Killer is nasty.
- 24:48It's definitely not one of my favorite
- 24:49flavors, but I wouldn't say it's nasty.
- 24:54I got a whole twelve pack of it
- 24:55sitting right there.
- 24:59But it is weird getting carbonated cereal
- 25:02milk.
- 25:04But like we discussed,
- 25:05it doesn't leave that milk aftertaste in
- 25:09your mouth.
- 25:10I like the milk schmutz.
- 25:14It's the worst part about it.
- 25:15Anyway, right along.
- 25:21Did you see Jason Ainsley on Spin last
- 25:24night?
- 25:25No.
- 25:27He basically gave the roadmap as much as
- 25:30he could of what next year's WFP season
- 25:32is going to be.
- 25:33Okay.
- 25:35And I kind of liked what I heard.
- 25:37No, I forget to spend on them,
- 25:39especially right now,
- 25:40because Jamison has softball on Wednesday
- 25:44night.
- 25:44So I was at the ball field until
- 25:46eight fifteen last night.
- 25:48So I was critical when the Instagram post
- 25:52came out that like they're just trying to
- 25:54copy a CrossFit game season.
- 25:56Right.
- 25:57But after Jason talked last night,
- 26:00he said, like,
- 26:00I'm a big fan of regionals.
- 26:02And I think that regionals with community
- 26:05participation is
- 26:07is the way to go you know and
- 26:09jamesley jason ainsley is so good at like
- 26:13explaining things and being very
- 26:14transparent and honest about stuff that it
- 26:17is uh
- 26:19It was refreshing.
- 26:20That's exactly the word I was going to
- 26:22use.
- 26:22Refreshing, yeah.
- 26:24And it made a whole lot of sense.
- 26:27So you've seen that there's the ten events
- 26:29that are being announced.
- 26:32And they are going to have community
- 26:34events at all those events.
- 26:36And eight of them will qualify three
- 26:38people from the elite division to the WFP
- 26:41championship.
- 26:44Two will get one qualification.
- 26:47They're also, if you have pairs,
- 26:50either girl, girl, guy, guy, or co-ed,
- 26:55and you finish in the top three or
- 26:57one, you get to go to the championship.
- 26:59They're going to have four-person teams
- 27:01that if you qualify, you go.
- 27:04They're also going to have a teen
- 27:05division,
- 27:06but they only have two divisions.
- 27:07It's going to be fifteen to seventeen and
- 27:09eighteen to twenty-two.
- 27:14And then they are going to have masters,
- 27:17but they're only going up to fifty five
- 27:19plus.
- 27:20Yeah, I did see that.
- 27:23And so you can qualify in all these
- 27:25to get to the championships.
- 27:27And so these community events are going to
- 27:30give you an opportunity to compete at the
- 27:32elite stage wherever the championship is,
- 27:35which is not going to be Copenhagen.
- 27:37But they do not know yet.
- 27:39Oh, so we're not going back to Copenhagen.
- 27:42This year, yes.
- 27:42Next year, no.
- 27:43Well, yeah, obviously this year.
- 27:45And they're going to try to make the
- 27:47events like a thousand competing
- 27:49individuals.
- 27:53So I'm with Travis right here.
- 27:55How are you going to find volunteers to
- 27:58work all those events?
- 28:00It's a lot.
- 28:00So most of those events that you're
- 28:01talking about that I saw,
- 28:02I say most of them,
- 28:03I think all of them are already
- 28:04established events.
- 28:07I don't know about necessarily the
- 28:09volunteers because I'm sure they already
- 28:11have volunteers that work on year in and
- 28:13year out.
- 28:15The quality of judging for the people who
- 28:19are going to have a legitimate shot to
- 28:21get to their final event is what I
- 28:24would be worried about.
- 28:25There's only so many Andrew Stins.
- 28:26There's only so many Dave Hardys.
- 28:28There's only so many of those type dudes
- 28:30that are out there doing that kind of
- 28:32stuff.
- 28:33Two answers to that.
- 28:34One, they're all over the world.
- 28:36We're talking Australia, Greece, Spain,
- 28:41some in the US.
- 28:43Six of the ten events are going to
- 28:45be after the game season is over.
- 28:49And I think like
- 28:57It's time that we hold judges more
- 29:00accountable.
- 29:01We have great judges like Stan and like
- 29:04Kevin and,
- 29:06but they need to be allowed to hold
- 29:08judges accountable.
- 29:10So you weed out the bad ones.
- 29:12Yeah.
- 29:14Um,
- 29:17Wayne says it's not much different than
- 29:18CrossFit outsourcing semifinals.
- 29:20However,
- 29:21WFP owns a handful of these events.
- 29:24Yeah.
- 29:24I mean, because Jason already did.
- 29:27They own Down Under.
- 29:28They own Monster.
- 29:30They own Heart of America.
- 29:31Yep.
- 29:33And have some sort of partnership with the
- 29:35rest of them.
- 29:35Otherwise, they wouldn't be doing this.
- 29:38I like what I like what Sten says
- 29:39right here.
- 29:40The amount of events that are coming means
- 29:41that we have to start paying judges and
- 29:43volunteers.
- 29:45I think what he's getting at is that,
- 29:46yeah,
- 29:47most of it's after the after the season.
- 29:49Right.
- 29:49After the regular CrossFit season is over
- 29:51with.
- 29:51But that doesn't mean that you're still
- 29:53pulling from the same pool.
- 29:56Guys like Dave Hardy, who's retired,
- 29:57who can do that kind of shit in,
- 29:59in travel and enjoys doing it and go,
- 30:01go in all those places are the exception,
- 30:03not the rule.
- 30:04So you're going to have to start finding
- 30:06some kind of way to put,
- 30:08give these guys some sort of other
- 30:09incentive because even judges are going to
- 30:11get burned out.
- 30:13Right.
- 30:13I mean, it's a lot for,
- 30:15for anybody at a time.
- 30:17Um, and yes,
- 30:19travel costs do not care about sports
- 30:21seasons.
- 30:22That's exactly what I was getting at Stan.
- 30:23Like.
- 30:26Plane tickets are expensive.
- 30:28Hotels, Airbnbs,
- 30:29whatever you're going to stay in at,
- 30:31all of that shit is expensive,
- 30:32especially nowadays when everything is
- 30:34freaking expensive.
- 30:38Good Lord,
- 30:38it's hard for me to even say.
- 30:40Agreed.
- 30:42So yeah,
- 30:42they're going to have to figure some part
- 30:44of that out to leave it in the
- 30:46budget.
- 30:48Something's going to have to get cut or
- 30:50they're going to have to get more money
- 30:51from their sponsors or something like that
- 30:53to be able to ensure that you're getting
- 30:55the stuff that you need from those people.
- 30:59The,
- 31:01the thing we have to remember is these
- 31:02are all established events.
- 31:05Yep.
- 31:06They've all been going on for years.
- 31:08They've all had to man.
- 31:09Yeah.
- 31:10I did monster games two years in a
- 31:12row, dude.
- 31:13And like,
- 31:15did not have much of an issue this
- 31:18year.
- 31:18I had a small one with, uh,
- 31:20actually with the last event that I did,
- 31:21but that's been for the second,
- 31:23no second to last event.
- 31:26Yeah.
- 31:27Um,
- 31:29But that was a one out of the
- 31:31two years that I went there.
- 31:33So like not a huge deal when it
- 31:35comes down to it.
- 31:35And I wasn't in any danger of making
- 31:37any sort of moves anyway.
- 31:40The amount of judge and equipment staff
- 31:41needed when you now have all these
- 31:43divisions is a lot of people.
- 31:45But again,
- 31:46a lot of these places already had all
- 31:48of these divisions, right?
- 31:51Yeah.
- 31:52Monster games is a perfect example.
- 31:53Like they have a shit ton of divisions,
- 31:57teams,
- 31:59teams of two and individuals masters all
- 32:03the way from thirty five,
- 32:05thirty nine up to I think last year,
- 32:07fifty five,
- 32:08fifty five plus maybe sixty plus.
- 32:10I don't know.
- 32:10There's a lot of there's a lot of
- 32:11divisions.
- 32:11I know that much.
- 32:13And it seemed to run pretty well.
- 32:15Ran on time.
- 32:16Everything went pretty smooth.
- 32:19Not a whole lot of, like I said,
- 32:21me personally had one.
- 32:23It wasn't even an issue necessarily.
- 32:24It was just kind of silly is what
- 32:26it boils down to.
- 32:27Let me just say that this is why
- 32:30I like Jay Stainsley.
- 32:32He said,
- 32:33what is the most popular thing that the
- 32:35community events do?
- 32:36Yeah.
- 32:38Pairs.
- 32:39You go to a local comp and people
- 32:41sign up for pairs.
- 32:45People go to High Rocks, they do pears.
- 32:48Pears is getting increasingly popular.
- 32:52So instead of designing everything around
- 32:56the elites and then pairing the rest of
- 33:00the competition to what the elites are
- 33:01doing,
- 33:02why not do what the local comps are
- 33:06already doing well and what is super
- 33:08popular and not make them the same events?
- 33:11Just do it at the same location and
- 33:14let them compete for an opportunity to go
- 33:17to wherever the finals are.
- 33:21Not Copenhagen.
- 33:24Right.
- 33:27That thought process is, again,
- 33:31refreshing.
- 33:33Yeah.
- 33:35You know what?
- 33:35My biggest bitch lately has been,
- 33:38don't tell me what to care about.
- 33:40See what I care about and go from
- 33:42there.
- 33:44And not just me as in the universal
- 33:46we.
- 33:47Right.
- 33:48Right.
- 33:49Like,
- 33:51people care about pairs in those local
- 33:54community competitions.
- 33:56A lot of stuff down here.
- 33:57Why not embrace it?
- 33:59Yeah,
- 33:59a lot of stuff down here has gone
- 34:01to mostly that.
- 34:02Like,
- 34:03there's not as many opportunities to
- 34:05compete locally individually.
- 34:07Right.
- 34:08For whatever reason.
- 34:10I don't understand it personally.
- 34:12I'm not against teams or whatnot.
- 34:15Teams of two, teams of three,
- 34:16whatever the case may be.
- 34:17But I'm an individual competitor.
- 34:19Right.
- 34:21And you're the tip of the spear in
- 34:22the individual side.
- 34:24Most people in a CrossFit gym aren't the
- 34:26tip of the spear.
- 34:27And they're just looking to go hang out
- 34:29with their buddy and do an event.
- 34:31yeah but i would say the reason i
- 34:33got to where i was is because when
- 34:35i was did first start competing there was
- 34:37a lot more down here chances to compete
- 34:41individually
- 34:43My first ever actual individual comp,
- 34:45I was in intermediate doing my thing
- 34:49before because they didn't have a master's
- 34:50division at the time.
- 34:52And then once I figured out, okay,
- 34:54I can go to region and that has
- 34:56masters and then whatever else may be.
- 34:58And I was trying to always get into
- 34:59the division I belonged in,
- 35:02like skills wise and whatnot,
- 35:03because
- 35:06I never wanted to be that guy who
- 35:08was just crushing everybody because I
- 35:11signed up in the division I clearly did
- 35:15not belong in.
- 35:16I would rather get my ass handed to
- 35:17me.
- 35:19Yeah, I see that.
- 35:20Jason Bourne, I am also the shaft.
- 35:23I'm the nub at the bottom of the
- 35:25shaft.
- 35:26I would rather get my ass handed to
- 35:28me in the division I belong in than
- 35:31crush everybody in a division that I
- 35:33clearly do not belong in.
- 35:35That's never made any sense to me.
- 35:37Tessa says CrossFit doing pairs this
- 35:39season, but it ends at the Open.
- 35:43I understand the gist of it,
- 35:47but then the fact that it doesn't do
- 35:49anything beyond that
- 35:52And I get it.
- 35:52Like Boz was saying yesterday or the day
- 35:54before, whenever that was,
- 35:55that it's a test to see how much
- 36:00interest it has and whatnot.
- 36:02And maybe they'll do something with it
- 36:03after that or whatnot.
- 36:04I get that part of it.
- 36:06But it's weird.
- 36:09Here's what I think works.
- 36:11If you have a competition like
- 36:13Waterpalooza where there's a thousand
- 36:15competitors, right?
- 36:19they're going to stay and watch the other
- 36:21stuff.
- 36:22That's going to fill more seats than just
- 36:24having pros or elites,
- 36:28whatever you want to call them,
- 36:29just competing and watching.
- 36:31And Ainsley kind of spoke to that.
- 36:33Like, people want to do now.
- 36:34They don't want to just watch.
- 36:36Right.
- 36:38So now you get the festival feel.
- 36:40Now you've got people like Travis going.
- 36:42If there's a thousand competitors and
- 36:45their family come to watch them and then
- 36:48they go over to the leads,
- 36:49it might be more worth my while to
- 36:51put up a tent and sell some shirts,
- 36:54right?
- 36:56Because...
- 36:57you're going to have more traffic for
- 36:59sure.
- 37:00The other thing that,
- 37:01let's look at the elites for just a
- 37:03second on this.
- 37:05If you earn a pro card this year,
- 37:06you automatically get to the finals next
- 37:08year.
- 37:10But they're going to incentivize those
- 37:13pros to do some of the series.
- 37:20Which I think is a cool idea, concept,
- 37:22right?
- 37:23Yeah.
- 37:23Because I think incentivize means
- 37:25financially, right?
- 37:27I would imagine so because that's what
- 37:30most of those pros,
- 37:30that's the easiest way to incentivize them
- 37:32is to tell them they have an opportunity
- 37:34to win some money.
- 37:35And they're still working out the
- 37:36framework to all that and what that means.
- 37:38But a pro can never take away the
- 37:41spot of the top three.
- 37:48And they're going to stream Down Under and
- 37:52they're going to do it on YouTube and
- 37:53it's going to cost you five bucks.
- 37:56I would pay five bucks to watch Down
- 37:57Under.
- 37:59And Jason was saying that it's expensive
- 38:05to stream.
- 38:06They need to recoup costs,
- 38:08but they didn't want to just hand it
- 38:09over to a third-party platform.
- 38:11They wanted to use a platform that was
- 38:14stable.
- 38:14That was his exact quote.
- 38:16We want to use a platform that everybody
- 38:19knows and is stable.
- 38:23Can we write Jason Ansley in for
- 38:25president?
- 38:26Can I do that?
- 38:28Or just in charge of more stuff?
- 38:30How about just in charge of more stuff?
- 38:32I would like to vote for Jason Ansley
- 38:34to be in charge of more stuff because
- 38:36you and I have been saying that kind
- 38:37of shit for quite some time now that
- 38:41just charged ten bucks.
- 38:44Hey, you want to watch the games?
- 38:45It's going to be on YouTube.
- 38:46We know it's not going to crash.
- 38:48We need to recoup some of our costs
- 38:49for the broadcast.
- 38:51It's going to be ten bucks for the
- 38:53entire week.
- 38:54And you watch it from beginning to end.
- 38:56Boom, ten bucks.
- 38:57You know how many people would be like,
- 38:58sign me up because they don't want to
- 39:00pay thirty dollars for freaking Flow
- 39:01Elite.
- 39:01Yep.
- 39:04Not to work like it's supposed to.
- 39:08Wayne says,
- 39:09so a pro card holder does not have
- 39:10to do a qualifying event straight to the
- 39:12finals.
- 39:13Yes.
- 39:16But what it does do is because you
- 39:18only need to finish top three in any
- 39:20one of these.
- 39:22And their example they used last night was
- 39:24if Dallin wanted to get back in,
- 39:27he just has to go to one event,
- 39:29qualify, and then he's in the finals now.
- 39:34Yep.
- 39:36some common sense thinking my i can't
- 39:40remember if she was second or third grade
- 39:41teacher used to say common sense is good
- 39:43sense in everyday affair like just use
- 39:46your brain figure out what actually makes
- 39:48sense and kind of do that and i
- 39:50think that is the approach that jason has
- 39:51taken to most of this stuff and god
- 39:53bless him for it like i will and
- 39:58i think i'm not alone in saying this
- 39:59i would gladly watch down under for five
- 40:02bucks
- 40:04I would easily watch pay them five dollars
- 40:07wherever I got it,
- 40:07whoever I got to send that to.
- 40:09to watch Down Under,
- 40:11have it be on YouTube that we know
- 40:13is stable and we know is going to
- 40:15be a decent broadcast,
- 40:17I'd happily do that.
- 40:19I think most people would, no, it's not,
- 40:21Meg.
- 40:21That's the whole problem.
- 40:22That is a big fat no.
- 40:23Yeah, that's the whole problem.
- 40:26I work for state government.
- 40:27It is an emphatic no.
- 40:32Any sort of government.
- 40:32And they also said they're going to stream
- 40:35everything.
- 40:36So if your family is in the community
- 40:38event and you can't make it to the
- 40:40event,
- 40:42you can pay five dollars to see grandma
- 40:45in the fifty five plus division.
- 40:47As it turns out on a stable platform
- 40:51once again.
- 40:53Cannot say that enough because my wife
- 40:55tried to watch me on Floor Elite for
- 40:57the second event of the day at semifinals
- 41:00and no dice.
- 41:07And he said that the crowds have spoken.
- 41:11They're not filling the seats like they
- 41:13used to.
- 41:13And so in order to recoup money to
- 41:15hold the event,
- 41:17they need to do this to do it.
- 41:19And I don't think five bucks is that
- 41:20much to ask.
- 41:23I would think...
- 41:25So the CrossFit community in general
- 41:30spends five dollars...
- 41:32probably a day on dumb shit.
- 41:35Let's call it on average, right?
- 41:38On stuff that you probably don't need.
- 41:40You probably don't want.
- 41:42I mean, there we go.
- 41:44I was about to say that's two C
- 41:45fours.
- 41:47You can get them at,
- 41:48you can get C fours or ghosts.
- 41:51As a matter of fact,
- 41:52I think at circle K right now,
- 41:53two for five dollars and fifty cents or
- 41:55five.
- 41:56This show does not endorse circle K.
- 42:00Sorry.
- 42:02I just so happened to stop by there
- 42:04the other morning, but point still stands.
- 42:08Like, that's just, that's just how it is.
- 42:10Right.
- 42:12These things right here.
- 42:14I know everybody that drinks them.
- 42:15Like I know how much they cost.
- 42:17You could cut two of them out and
- 42:19watch quality entertainment that
- 42:21everybody, I say everybody,
- 42:22most people enjoy watching and you can see
- 42:25all of it.
- 42:27So long as it's not a static camera
- 42:28from the roof of the building.
- 42:30If I don't get my two C fours,
- 42:31I'll probably fall asleep during it.
- 42:33There you go.
- 42:34Well, yeah, that's the problem.
- 42:35You have to figure out maybe I have
- 42:36to give up something else.
- 42:42Oh, you both have Wawa near you.
- 42:43Absolutely not.
- 42:45Nope.
- 42:45I don't even know what that is.
- 42:47It's, it's an East coast thing.
- 42:50They actually on the Western side of Ohio
- 42:54and Indiana,
- 42:55they're starting to build Wawa's,
- 42:57but they haven't made central Ohio yet.
- 43:00No,
- 43:00there's definitely no Wawa's down here.
- 43:02There's a Bucky's closer than a Wawa for
- 43:05me.
- 43:05Oh, there you go.
- 43:07Yeah,
- 43:07there's probably a Buc-ee's closest wall
- 43:09for me too.
- 43:09And the closest one to me is like
- 43:11three hours away.
- 43:13And so I just said that to piss
- 43:14off Andrew Sten because he is a Buc-ee
- 43:16lover.
- 43:17He's his favorite place to be.
- 43:19Last time I talked to him,
- 43:20he was like,
- 43:20I cannot wait to go back to Buc-ee's
- 43:22was the last thing Andrew Sten said to
- 43:24me.
- 43:27Oh, look who it is.
- 43:28Look at that.
- 43:31my favorite my favorite vocalist in your
- 43:33local cover band she's my favorite
- 43:36vocalist in the delaware area absolutely
- 43:38number one number one not just in my
- 43:40heart but on the yeah absolutely in
- 43:44reality i think billboard actually has her
- 43:46at number one right now in not in
- 43:49delaware in delaware absolutely yeah um
- 43:56I don't even remember what I was saying.
- 43:58We actually were short text this morning
- 44:03that she's willing to fill in on this
- 44:06show if either of us can't make it.
- 44:10Since she was one of the original.
- 44:12She absolutely was.
- 44:14I don't know whether you noticed or not.
- 44:15I'm going to go ahead and put this
- 44:16out here.
- 44:16Even though it's not my show,
- 44:17you can come on right now if you
- 44:19wanted to.
- 44:19Nah, I'm ready to go.
- 44:22Not right now.
- 44:23We're about to leave.
- 44:25Yeah,
- 44:26I got to finish my training from
- 44:27yesterday.
- 44:28Oh, my wife's doing training right now.
- 44:30She's about to pull her hair out.
- 44:31I don't even remember what we're talking
- 44:36about.
- 44:36Yeah, they're going to... Wawa.
- 44:40They're building Wawa.
- 44:41Wawa is expanding everywhere.
- 44:44Building the Wawa.
- 44:45But I actually went to Wawa when I
- 44:47went to Kat's house.
- 44:48Got it.
- 44:51That's the only time I've ever been in
- 44:52a Wawa.
- 44:54Top tier experience?
- 44:55You're super excited to be there and
- 44:56whatnot?
- 44:56It's pretty awesome.
- 44:59I went to a Wawa and Kat sang
- 45:00Wawa.
- 45:07I do enjoy speaking to Kat.
- 45:09Every once in a while,
- 45:10I will see video from her performing with
- 45:13the band.
- 45:16Keep killing it, girl.
- 45:17Keep killing it.
- 45:18Proud of you.
- 45:19Well,
- 45:19now I think she's in three bands or
- 45:20something.
- 45:21An acoustic band, a fully plugged in band,
- 45:23and now she's filling in for a band.
- 45:26You just get one foot in the door.
- 45:29Gosh,
- 45:29she's like the Robert Plant of our
- 45:31generation.
- 45:32One foot in the door.
- 45:33Now she's in seventeen bands just
- 45:35performing all the damn time.
- 45:38It's amazing.
- 45:41I can play one song on the drums
- 45:42now.
- 45:42And so I'm soon, soon.
- 45:46Ladies and gentlemen,
- 45:48ladies and gentlemen,
- 45:51if y'all notice or not,
- 45:51everybody stop the presses.
- 45:53Scott can play a song on the drums.
- 45:55Which song is it by the way?
- 45:57I heard you put beaten on a sound
- 45:59like a zombie.
- 46:00Was that, was that, was that the day?
- 46:04The one I can play right now is
- 46:05a song called wild and cold and I'm
- 46:07working on Mr. Brightside.
- 46:10I'm Mr. Brightside.
- 46:16Hot cross buns.
- 46:19So Fergie... Hot cross buns.
- 46:22It's fantastic.
- 46:24Here's my biggest dilemma with playing
- 46:25songs.
- 46:26I get too excited.
- 46:28I get too excited and I get my
- 46:29stick caught under symbols because I'm
- 46:33lifting my arms too much to do the,
- 46:35like the bangs.
- 46:37Right.
- 46:37Yeah.
- 46:38And I'll get one like caught and like,
- 46:39Oh shit.
- 46:40Oh no.
- 46:42So I need to like relax.
- 46:45more and just kind of play like not
- 46:47so much this more like this like some
- 46:56of that yeah oh um cat i know
- 46:57you said we're gonna start a band but
- 46:59like can we have two vocalists because i
- 47:02can't play an instrument to save my life
- 47:03like the only instrument i'm good at
- 47:04playing is the radio i used to be
- 47:08a dj but i never know how to
- 47:09scratch so i not not real good at
- 47:12that either so i don't know what we're
- 47:14gonna do
- 47:18So what I was going to say is
- 47:21Fergie sent me a text and said we
- 47:24should ask for pictures of Halloween
- 47:27costumes.
- 47:29Should we though?
- 47:30You and I judge them.
- 47:31Should we though?
- 47:36Are you about to put up his?
- 47:37Because he sent me his.
- 47:39He did send me his.
- 47:40I was not going to put that.
- 47:42I don't know if it's on this account.
- 47:47I laughed so hard when he sent me
- 47:49that, dude, because it's...
- 47:50Only people our age would even know who
- 47:52he was.
- 47:53Would even know who he was.
- 47:54Yeah, absolutely.
- 47:55Yeah,
- 47:55I think he sent it on my personal
- 47:56account.
- 47:58Never send stuff to the personal, folks.
- 47:59You can't put it up on the show.
- 48:01Oh, got it.
- 48:02Got it.
- 48:02Got it.
- 48:03It's a side-by-side of who he's actually
- 48:05playing.
- 48:07But this is Michael P.S.
- 48:10Hayes from the Freebirds,
- 48:12the fabulous Freebirds.
- 48:13Fabulous Freebirds, baby.
- 48:15From back in the day.
- 48:17Here is Fergie.
- 48:19I will try to blow this up a
- 48:20little bit.
- 48:21There we go.
- 48:21There it is.
- 48:22The resemblance is uncanny.
- 48:24Well,
- 48:24I don't know what just happened there.
- 48:27Everything shut down for me.
- 48:29Nope.
- 48:30Were you good?
- 48:30I can still see you.
- 48:31Everything looks fine.
- 48:32Okay.
- 48:33Okay.
- 48:34The resemblance is uncanny.
- 48:35I mean, Fergie's chest is shaved.
- 48:37And just so you're aware,
- 48:39it is Fergie on the right,
- 48:40not the left.
- 48:41Yes, in case y'all were wondering.
- 48:43Why did you just put two pictures of
- 48:45the same guy up?
- 48:48Yeah.
- 48:48You know,
- 48:49Fergie's abs are better than Michael's.
- 48:51Oh, absolutely.
- 48:52It's not even close.
- 48:53Fergie looks actually more jacked than the
- 48:56freaking professional wrestler from back
- 48:57in the day does.
- 48:59That is not dog Chapman, Wayne Short.
- 49:01Come on.
- 49:08If you were to put the sunglasses on,
- 49:10we'd have Dog the Bounty Hunter.
- 49:11If you were to put the sunglasses on,
- 49:13absolutely.
- 49:14It's Dog the Bounty Hunter.
- 49:15I can understand that.
- 49:17Fergie says grass does not grow in a
- 49:19playground.
- 49:20I love that dude so much.
- 49:29I love that dude so much.
- 49:30Oh, I love me some Fergie.
- 49:32Oh my gosh.
- 49:34That is fantastic.
- 49:35So,
- 49:35so far out of the Halloween costumes that
- 49:37we've seen, that is number one.
- 49:41And it's not even close.
- 49:41That is a one of one.
- 49:42That is a one of one right there.
- 49:44And it's not even close.
- 49:46Doug, you got cat's attention.
- 49:48She wouldn't even like, boom.
- 49:49You got cat's attention right there.
- 49:52Oh, I mean, it looks good.
- 49:55We see you.
- 49:56Yeah.
- 49:59We know what you're going to be for
- 50:00Halloween, Meg.
- 50:01Angry.
- 50:03I thought she was going to be just
- 50:04utter darkness.
- 50:05Yeah.
- 50:06Just walk around in just black shirt,
- 50:07black pants.
- 50:10I'm going to be nice.
- 50:11No, I don't believe you.
- 50:14Well,
- 50:15she's saying that she'll play it nice and
- 50:17everybody will be terrified because she's
- 50:18so out of character.
- 50:20Right.
- 50:20What is wrong with you?
- 50:23Are you possessed?
- 50:28Ferg, shirts are for quitters, dude.
- 50:31Ferg, if I had your body,
- 50:33I would go shirtless to the grocery store.
- 50:36Y'all are lucky I got a shirt on
- 50:37right now, to be honest with you.
- 50:38The only reason I do is because I'm
- 50:39in my office.
- 50:40If I was at home, it's a good,
- 50:41strong possibility I'd run around with no
- 50:43shirt on.
- 50:46She should dress up as someone who can
- 50:47count.
- 50:48So she could be the count.
- 50:52Whoa.
- 50:55Yeah.
- 50:55From Sesame Street, which would be like,
- 50:59one a vampire first of all makes perfect
- 51:03sense and then somebody that's who she
- 51:12needs to be yeah absolutely the counting
- 51:14count
- 51:18shirtless is frowned upon in church
- 51:20depends on the church Fergie one of my
- 51:23favorite jokes about the count is that
- 51:25somebody was it's like a conversation
- 51:27between two people who said hey who's your
- 51:29favorite who's your favorite vampire and
- 51:31he's like the count from Sesame Street and
- 51:34he's like that guy doesn't count I can
- 51:36assure you he does
- 51:40That's a bad dad joke.
- 51:42That is a terrible dad joke.
- 51:45One.
- 51:47What's next?
- 51:48I know there's a number after one.
- 51:51I'm trying to get to it.
- 51:55All right, guys.
- 51:56Lunch hour's over.
- 51:57I got to get back to work.
- 51:58You knuckleheads,
- 51:59you get back to work too.
- 52:00We'll see you tomorrow.
- 52:01Lunch with the Clydesdale and the Cowboy.
- 52:04I can't wait to get to the editing
- 52:05room to jazz me up.
- 52:07I'm already jazzy.
- 52:19Lunch with the Clydesdale Cowboy in the
- 52:20saddle.
- 52:21Lunch with the Clydesdale Cowboy in the
- 52:22saddle.
- 52:23Talking to reps,
- 52:24real life strength in the battle.
- 52:27From the gym to the screen, yeah,
- 52:29we cover it all.
- 52:32Midday motivation every time we press
- 52:34call.
- 52:36Lunch with the Clydesdale Cowboy in the
- 52:38heat.
- 52:39CrossFit, movies, music on repeat.
- 52:41Half hour hustle, yeah,
- 52:42we building that brand.
- 52:43Grab a plate, shoot it, now you quarter.
