  throughout the Old and New Testament, often referred to as

  the seven lamps of God or God's seven spirits?

  Let's talk about that. Coming up on the Urantia Radio

  No question about that. I also want to read something

  that I came across with the Urancha Fellowship.

  I get their emails and they they have great articles and and one

  in particular that I really enjoyed which is called Hope for

  the Present crisis of Civilization.

  I want to give credit to Sharon Porter and Kay Cooper Urantia
• 1:31
  University Institute course in the spring of 2024.

  They they write a short couple of paragraphs and I just want to
• 1:40
  share with you because it inspired me.
• 1:42
  So I think it might inspire you especially since we're all going
• 1:45
  through some pretty tumultuous times and then we'll get into
• 1:48
  the seven masters spirits. So Sharon and Kay Wright.

  When the Urantia Book was given to this planet about 100 years
• 1:56
  ago, the writers spoke of the need for worldwide social
• 2:00
  reconstruction and economic reorganization.
• 2:04
  That's no surprise considering what the book reveals about the
• 2:07
  disastrous rebellion and default.
• 2:10
  The crisis in Urantia civilization has only become
• 2:13
  more obvious since the book arrived.
• 2:17
  Our civilization is beginning to change.
• 2:20
  It is beginning to be uplifted, restructured and redirected.
• 2:24
  It feels like chaos and uncertainty, but we need to see
• 2:27
  it in a different light. This is the beginning of one of
• 2:31
  Urantia's quote, most amazing and enthralling epics of social
• 2:36
  readjustment, moral quickening, and spiritual enlightenment.
• 2:39

  It is a promise, the book said in 1935.
• 2:48
  Urantia is on the brink of this epic of change for the better.
• 2:52
  The 5th Epochal revelation is initiating that enthralling
• 2:56
  epic. We feel like we are living in
• 2:59
  chaos and change, but we who have the Urancha book are called
• 3:04
  to a whole new way of seeing ourselves.
• 3:08
  And how do we contribute to the coming spiritual renaissance?
• 3:11
  Our book says only the real religion of personal spiritual
• 3:15
  experience can function helpfully and creatively in the
• 3:19
  present crisis of civilization. They continue to write.
• 3:23
  In the midst of such change, we all need the support of real
• 3:27
  religion, a genuine connection with spirit, and a love for our
• 3:31
  sisters and our brothers on earth.
• 3:34
  Real religion opens us to the love of God.
• 3:37
  We are beloved children. Experiencing God's love changes
• 3:41
  us inside. We feel accepted, encouraged,
• 3:44
  strengthened and hopeful. Loving and appreciating.
• 3:47
  God as a nurturing, supporting, and caring parent causes us to
• 3:52
  want to be like Him, and we seek the beautiful values we see in
• 3:56
  deity. Those values draw us into
• 3:59
  growing. Developing higher and higher
• 4:01
  values in ourselves is the very definition of growing.
• 4:06
  Our love expands. We see our brothers and sisters
• 4:09
  with new eyes. Instead of judgment, we see
• 4:12
  their need for the loving parent we have found.
• 4:15
  And when we open the door and allow our love to flow to them,
• 4:19
  joy blooms and we love them more.
• 4:22
  We become even more connected as divine love flows to us and
• 4:26
  through us, to our human family in service.
• 4:30
  Let's live our religion. Let's share the real religion of
• 4:34
  personal spiritual experience with everyone we can.
• 4:37
  Let's become the new teachers who are exclusively devoted to
• 4:41
  the spiritual regeneration of our sisters and brothers.
• 4:45
  We can give hope to the world in this present crisis.
• 4:49
  And that, of course, comes from Sisters and Spirits, Sharon

  mental breath, find some nice music here and then we'll come

  back and we'll delve into the seven Master Spirits and some

  interesting stuff that I found in Chapter 16 of the Urantia

  just amazing. I I keep seeing and meeting more

  people from the Urania book community and I'm always so

  impressed by the the quality of the of the conversation and

  what's talked about and what's discussed.

  And again, there's so many great Zoom meetings now that are being
• 5:52
  put on by various organizations. It's just very nice.
• 5:56
  It's flowering. You know the Urania book
• 5:58
  revelation 100 years now and things are starting to happen.

  So I still think, you know, I'm, I'm motivated to want to share
• 6:07
  the book with people because I know deep down it just really
• 6:12
  lessens the burden of life knowing that this world is not
• 6:16
  in vain and that it's just hard for me to fathom that so many
• 6:20
  people just don't, you know, if they knew.
• 6:25
  You know if you imagine if you were a 5 year old just about to
• 6:28
  start grade school and you knew that you were going to be going
• 6:32
  to school for so many years and then you would graduate.
• 6:34
  But you don't really have a a great concept of what your adult
• 6:38
  life is going to be because you just don't have enough
• 6:41
  knowledge. You don't know anything right.
• 6:43
  So you're you're basically limited by your own conceptions
• 6:48
  of of what reality is and but the Oranga book attempts to pull
• 6:53
  back a curtain and show This is why I was on a zoom call and you
• 6:59
  heard we were talking with Tong the other day about his works
• 7:04
  his artistic works and it it opens the door and it just shows
• 7:08
  you this wonderful Gary Tong. Yep.
• 7:12
  And his artwork does the same thing.
• 7:15
  It it opens the the IT shows you a wonderful picture doesn't it.
• 7:21
  But it's not easy and and I know a lot of people get stumbled by
• 7:25
  part one of the book because it's it's explaining 2 things.
• 7:28
  One the history of God and his immediate family back in the in
• 7:33
  the eons of time and one of the family are the seven masters
• 7:38
  spirits. And what got me interested in
• 7:39
  that was that I was reading, I don't know why.
• 7:43
  I just decided, you know, right now on social media there's a
• 7:46
  lot of, a lot of stuff about what what age we're in, Is this
• 7:51
  the end times? Are we in the end times?
• 7:54
  And and in Revelations, it starts off with the very first
• 7:59
  paragraph. It talks.
• 8:00
  Well, it's not the first paragraph.
• 8:02
  It's actually Revelations 112 and 13 and 20.
• 8:07
  It says, And I turned to see the voice that spake with me and
• 8:11
  being turned, I saw 7 golden candlesticks.
• 8:15
  And in 13 Revelations 13113, it says and in the midst of the
• 8:21
  seven candlesticks are one like unto the Son of Man.
• 8:26
  So they're referring to Christ Michael, in that reference cloth
• 8:30
  with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a
• 8:34
  golden girdle. That's how they describe the way
• 8:37
  that the Son of Man looks to them.
• 8:40
  And then in in 20 Revelations, 1 to 20, The mystery of the seven
• 8:45
  stars, which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden
• 8:49
  candlesticks, the seven stars are the angels of the seven
• 8:52
  churches, which is another reference to the Urantia Book
• 8:56
  actually details who those the angels of the churches, the
• 9:00
  angels of religion. There's there's actually groups
• 9:04
  of angels that are assigned to certain human activities.
• 9:08
  And then the seven candlesticks, which thou sawest are the seven
• 9:11
  churches. So it could be that they're
• 9:13
  referring to the churches that were popping up in that period.
• 9:17
  And I, and believe me, I'm not a theologian, but my
• 9:21
  interpretation is that they're talking about the seven lamps.
• 9:27
  The seven lamps is referred to in Zechariah 4/2, where it says,
• 9:32
  And he said to me, what do you see?
• 9:35
  I said, I see. And behold, a lamp stand all of
• 9:38
  gold with a bowl on top of it, and seven lamps on it with seven
• 9:43
  lips on each of the lamps that are on the top of it.
• 9:47
  Then it goes on to read in Zechariah 4/2.
• 9:50
  He asked. What do you see?
• 9:52
  I answered. I see a solid gold lampstand.
• 9:54
  So again lampstand. He's always talking about the
• 9:56
  lamps. And then finally he says, what
• 10:00
  thou see I have looked, and behold, A Candlestick, all of
• 10:03
  gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps
• 10:07
  thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps which are upon the
• 10:13
  top thereof. Now interestingly from the
• 10:17
  Urantia Book, when it talks about the seven spirits, think
• 10:22
  of a think of a tree trunk. So what what grows out of a
• 10:26
  ground is the initial tree and then that from that tree you get
• 10:31
  limbs. And then from the limbs you get
• 10:32
  branches. And then from the branches you
• 10:34
  get leaves. And then from the leaves you get
• 10:36
  seeds. And then those seeds kind of
• 10:39
  continue on the process. But in God's immediate family,
• 10:43
  there was just God the Father, God the Son, God the Spirit, the
• 10:47
  Trinity. But it was in those What is the
• 10:51
  maximum relationship you could have between those three in
• 10:57
  terms of producing personalities?
• 11:00
  And remember these, these are deities we're talking about.
• 11:03
  If you think of the fact that the physical representation of
• 11:07
  of God the Father, the physical representation of God the Father
• 11:12
  can can only be expressed by the 70 trillion burning Suns that
• 11:19
  that make up the entirety of creation. 70 trillion burning
• 11:24
  orbs, it's just a number, right? But it's it represents the mass
• 11:28
  of energy of God the Father. Imagine the spiritual energy.
• 11:35
  Imagine the intellectual energy. And these are all in the domains
• 11:40
  of the three deities of. What's the first source and
• 11:44
  center is the origin of. So if you were to start to
• 11:49
  develop a family outward, then you would understand that the
• 11:54
  first thing you would have is an immediate family.
• 11:56
  And that immediate family, if you're following me, would
• 11:59
  represent the relationship of each deity to itself.

  So what are the seven likenesses?
• 12:08
  It says in paper 1602 the seven masters spirits thus have their
• 12:12
  origin in and derive their individual characteristics from
• 12:16
  the following seven likenesses. The universal Father, the
• 12:21
  eternal Son, the infinite Spirit, the Father and the Son,
• 12:25
  the Father and the Spirit, the Son and the Spirit, and then the
• 12:29
  Father, the Son and the Spirit. So those are the seven maximum
• 12:33
  personality expressions you could have of the Trinity.
• 12:39
  So they represent the seven lamps of reality, the seven
• 12:45
  super universes from Revelations.
• 12:48
  And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me.
• 12:51
  And being turned, I saw 7 golden candlesticks.
• 12:54
  And in the midst of the seven candlesticks, one like unto the
• 12:58
  Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and
• 13:01
  girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
• 13:05
  The mystery of the seven Stars, which thou sawest in my right
• 13:08
  hand and the Angel is, is telling this to John the
• 13:11
  Revelator, and then again back to the Zachariah 4/2.
• 13:16
  And he said, what do you see? Lampstands.
• 13:18
  All of gold. So they're they're looking and
• 13:20
  trying to express these seven master spirits that are so
• 13:26
  bright in their luminosity that looking at them from afar they
• 13:31
  would look like lampstands. But what they're actually seeing
• 13:33
  is the entirety of the seven universes of Paradise.
• 13:39
  So from 16 paragraph 11, the seven Master spirits of Paradise
• 13:46
  are the primary personalities of the Infinite Spirit, so they're
• 13:50
  derived from the infinite Spirit.
• 13:52
  In this sevenfold sevenfold creative act of self
• 13:56
  duplication, the infinite Spirit exhausted the associative
• 14:00
  possibilities mathematically inherent in the factual
• 14:04
  existence of the three persons of Deity.
• 14:09
  Had it been possible to produce a large number of master
• 14:11
  spirits, they would have been created.
• 14:14
  But there are just 7 associative person possibilities and only 7
• 14:20
  inherent in the three deities. And this explains why the
• 14:24
  universe is operates in seven grand divisions and why the
• 14:30
  number seven is basically fundamental in its organization
• 14:34
  and its administration. And again, what are these 7
• 14:40
  universes run by? But Master Spirits?
• 14:42
  Each one has one Master Spirit that it is of its spiritual
• 14:46
  domain. Now there's another thing that's
• 14:48
  interesting about this. Now when the Urantia Book talks
• 14:51
  about the Seven Master Spirits, it explains their their purpose.
• 14:55
  But there's another comment that they make in the very beginning
• 14:59
  that says because the universe was intended to be inhabited by
• 15:05
  living mind, old spirit beings, spirits with mind people, us
• 15:11
  says the the the only reason that these 7 masters spirits
• 15:17
  exist is because they're anticipating that there's a
• 15:21
  universe in creation. So I don't know if if that is as
• 15:25
  profound to you as it is for me, but I just find it interesting
• 15:29
  that they said that the energies represent the fact that the
• 15:34
  universe will eventually be inhabited by intelligent and
• 15:40
  spiritual beings who are also expressive of the Father, the
• 15:44
  Son and the Spirit. And that's why these 7 masters
• 15:47
  spirits came into existence in the 1st place.
• 15:51
  And it's a diminutive down stepping of deity, so that
• 15:55
  eventually you get to the point where you have the sons of God
• 15:59
  and the spirits of the infinite spirit.
• 16:03
  It's why we have a creative daughter spirit, which is where
• 16:06
  we get the Holy Spirit from, but we also have the creator son
• 16:11
  Michael, who we know as Jesus of Nazareth.
• 16:14
  So. So from the UB paper 1625 I'll
• 16:20
  conclude with this All of everything which has been told
• 16:25
  you concerning the divinity and personality of the conjoined
• 16:29
  actor, which is the third person of Deity.
• 16:31
  The infinite Spirit applies equally and fully to the seven
• 16:34
  master spirits who so effectively distribute the
• 16:37
  infinite spirit to the seven segments of the grand universe,
• 16:41
  in accordance with their divine endowment, and in the manner of
• 16:44
  their offering of their differing and individually
• 16:47
  unique natures. It would therefore be proper to
• 16:51
  apply to the collective group of seven any or all of the names of
• 16:56
  the infinite spirits. Collectively they are one with a
• 16:59
  conjoined actor and on all sub absolute levels and from the
• 17:05
  Urantia Book 1641 it says it is literally true that these seven
• 17:11
  spirits are the personalized physical power, cosmic mind and
• 17:15
  spiritual presence of the Triune deity.
• 17:18
  Quote the seven spirits of God sent forth to all the universe
• 17:24
  from 1643. The Seven Master Spirits are the
• 17:27
  Creators, creators of the Universe, Power Directors and
• 17:32
  their Associates, entities who are indispensable to the
• 17:36
  organization, control, and regulation of the physical
• 17:40
  energies of the Grand Universe. And these same Master Spirits
• 17:45
  very materially assist the Creator Sons in the work of
• 17:49
  shaping and organizing the local universes.
• 17:54
  And if we go back to the Old Testament, there's a statement
• 17:58
  that's made in the book of Isaiah.
• 18:00
  In Chapter 11, verse two, we will find what those seven
• 18:04
  spirits of God are. According to Isaiah, the seven
• 18:08
  spirits mentioned are the Spirit of the Lord, the spirit of
• 18:12
  Wisdom, the spirit of understanding, the spirit of
• 18:15
  counsel, the spirit of Strength, the spirit of knowledge, and the
• 18:21
  Spirit of the fear of the Lord. Interesting.
• 18:25
  In Paper 17, the Urancha Book describes the seven master
• 18:30
  spirits as having a hand in the organization, which eventually
• 18:37
  leads to the appearance of the seven adjutant spirits that work
• 18:41
  to improve the thinking level of material animals such as
• 18:46
  ourselves. And what are those seven
• 18:48
  adjutant spirits? They're very similar to how
• 18:52
  Isaiah described the seven spirits, the spirit of
• 18:56
  Intuition, the spirit of understanding, the spirit of
• 19:00
  Courage, the spirit of knowledge, the spirit of
• 19:03
  counsel, the spirit of worship, and the spirit of wisdom, the
• 19:08
  inherent tendency of all mortal creatures toward orderly and
• 19:12
  progressively evolutionary advancement.
• 19:16
  These adjusters are from the Divine Spirit who is the
• 19:19
  daughter of the infinite spirit. And it is this same third person
• 19:24
  of deity who not only sponsors the seven masters spirits as
• 19:28
  described as the lamps of God, but are also reflective of what
• 19:33
  Isaiah believed were the seven lamps of God or the seven
• 19:36
  masters spirits. So it would be easy to connect
• 19:40
  the sevenfold expression of deity with the emerging spirit
• 19:44
  in the mind of man. And to all of this you can
• 19:48
  imagine, as I said, the trunk of a tree.
• 19:51
  Then comes the long arching limbs, followed by the long
• 19:56
  tender branches which spawn leaves themselves possessing of
• 20:00
  seedlings that start the whole process again and again.
• 20:06
  And so that's the take away from the seven masters, spirits and
• 20:11
  their overriding influence on all of us.
• 20:14
  It's a it's a direction of energies coming through.
• 20:17
  The from the deities through the seven Masters spirits
• 20:21
  distributed in seven grand divisions which make up the
• 20:25
  present universe. So I hope that that meant
• 20:28
  something to you as it did me. I always enjoy pontificating on
• 20:33
  these great truths that emerge from the urantial revelation,
• 20:37
  and we have not delved into part one of the book in quite some
• 20:40
