- 2:03Speaker 3: Meadows is going to join a seven hand TJ on

- 2:08Speaker 3: on the world of politics today. So that's coming up
- 2:11Speaker 3: a little bit later on in the show. But right now,
- 2:12Speaker 3: I want to welcome into our stud You're a good friend,
- 2:14Speaker 3: John Lovejoy from fresh Air. Fresh Air is a product
- 2:18Speaker 3: that in a company that's owned by the Meek's family businesses,
- 2:20Speaker 3: proud sponsors of this show. John, Good morning, Welcome to
- 2:23Speaker 3: the show, and happy early Thanksgiving.
- 2:25Speaker 5: Good morning, Dave, Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.
- 2:27Speaker 3: All right, So since I've asked all my guests this
- 2:30Speaker 3: question recently, I have to ask you as well. Your
- 2:32Speaker 3: favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal is? Oh?
- 2:37Speaker 5: Mine would probably have to be the dress thing.
- 2:39Speaker 3: All right. See, here's the thing. I've been asking everybody this.
- 2:42Speaker 3: It's been on my show for like the last week
- 2:44Speaker 3: and a half and I haven't kept the results. But
- 2:48Speaker 3: if I had to guess, I am going to say
- 2:50Speaker 3: that the dressing is probably in the lead. I had
- 2:53Speaker 3: one for Cranberry's and Cranberry Saustin, Okay, pray for him.
- 2:57Speaker 3: That's our good friend, doctor Casey Saxevibridge Valley from Colorado.
- 3:00Speaker 3: So what is like that slide? Now, I'm just kidding.
- 3:03Speaker 3: We love doctor Sachs and I had a couple of
- 3:06Speaker 3: people said the desserts. One I think it was ben
- 3:08Speaker 3: Selango was a sweet potato casse role. And then Andy
- 3:13Speaker 3: Shade the Under the Dirty Birds. His was pumpkin pie.
- 3:16Speaker 3: So that's all good too. But a dressing kind of guy,
- 3:19Speaker 3: I am, Tracy, are our lady that holds down to Florida.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Here upstairs, we're talking yesterday about people that put oysters
- 3:26Speaker 3: in their dressing. That's the way my mother made it.
- 3:28Speaker 3: And by the end, I know we're not on television,
- 3:30Speaker 3: but by the expression on your face, you're not feeling
- 3:32Speaker 3: the oyster dressing. I am not an oyster person. Okay,
- 3:35Speaker 3: well that's very good. If you don't like your word,
- 3:37Speaker 3: if you don't like it, you're not gonna like it.
- 3:39Speaker 3: So yeah, the dressing is definitely in the lead for me.
- 3:42Speaker 3: That's just the way it is. So I'll get TJ's
- 3:45Speaker 3: take out a little bit later on. All right, So,
- 3:48Speaker 3: for those who may not have heard you on the
- 3:50Speaker 3: air before, it's been a couple of months since you've
- 3:52Speaker 3: been on. Of course, as I said fresh air, one
- 3:54Speaker 3: of the sponsors, part of the Meek's family that helped
- 3:56Speaker 3: sponsor the show. Give us the definition, give us the
- 4:00Speaker 3: elevator speech on fresh Air. As a company, what exactly
- 4:02Speaker 3: do you do?
- 4:03Speaker 5: We are a filter changing company. We come out and
- 4:07Speaker 5: we build custom metal filter frames for your H five unit.
- 4:12Speaker 5: It's going to be healthier for your H five and
- 4:14Speaker 5: then the filters that are inside are a better quality filter,
- 4:17Speaker 5: giving you healthier air on the inside as well. Okay,
- 4:21Speaker 5: we come out on a regular basis and we change
- 4:23Speaker 5: those filters for you, so you never have to remember
- 4:25Speaker 5: when it's time to change your filter.
- 4:27Speaker 3: And now that we are into the holiday season, of course,
- 4:30Speaker 3: this kind of work that you guys do, John is
- 4:33Speaker 3: important year round obviously, but let's talk a little bit
- 4:36Speaker 3: about indoor air quality. It is especially important, well probably
- 4:41Speaker 3: not more important here in the holiday season, but you know,
- 4:43Speaker 3: it could be more emphasizing going to people over to
- 4:45Speaker 3: the house and so on. And so if we're talking.
- 4:47Speaker 5: About that exactly, that's the big thing this time of year,
- 4:51Speaker 5: during the holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up and even
- 4:54Speaker 5: New Year's people are gathering and so you've got a
- 4:57Speaker 5: large amount of people in smaller spaces and as a result,
- 5:02Speaker 5: that means you've got more allergens coming in, more germs,
- 5:07Speaker 5: things along that and all of that can affect can
- 5:09Speaker 5: affect your indoor air quality. So it's really important to
- 5:14Speaker 5: make sure you've got fresh air filters in place prior
- 5:19Speaker 5: to these gatherings. And then as the weather turns colder
- 5:23Speaker 5: this time of year, you also have other things that
- 5:27Speaker 5: can come into play. People start using their fireplaces, and
- 5:30Speaker 5: people don't realize the fireplace can affect your air filter,
- 5:34Speaker 5: and burning candles is real popular this time of year,
- 5:38Speaker 5: and again that smoke, you know, resulting from the fireplace
- 5:42Speaker 5: use and the candles can clog the air filter much
- 5:48Speaker 5: quicker than times of the year when those things aren't
- 5:51Speaker 5: being used.
- 5:52Speaker 3: I guess it's something we're talking with John love John
- 5:55Speaker 3: Lovejoy fresh Air. I guess it's something I hadn't really
- 5:57Speaker 3: thought about because the last time you were on the
- 5:59Speaker 3: show is probably time in the in the in the
- 6:01Speaker 3: summer or whatever, that the changing of the seasons actually
- 6:06Speaker 3: affect these things and you're going to have different issues,
- 6:08Speaker 3: maybe some more, some less or whatever it depending on
- 6:10Speaker 3: the time of year.
- 6:11Speaker 5: It is absolutely yeah. I mean, we just went through
- 6:14Speaker 5: the switchover from summer to fall, that's a big allergy season,
- 6:18Speaker 5: and same thing with the switchover from winter to spring.
- 6:22Speaker 5: That's why most of your h fix companies that provide
- 6:25Speaker 5: a preventative maintenance plan come out those two times of
- 6:29Speaker 5: the year because that's that's allergy s peak seasons, those
- 6:32Speaker 5: two switchovers. But the filters do need to change be
- 6:35Speaker 5: changed more frequently than every six months, at least every
- 6:40Speaker 5: three months. And again there's other factors that come into play,
- 6:44Speaker 5: as far as you know, pets in the house, you know,
- 6:48Speaker 5: are you using your fireplace, you know, things like that.
- 6:51Speaker 5: When those things are present, then that filter really needs
- 6:55Speaker 5: to be changed more frequently.
- 6:57Speaker 3: When the game I'm talking with John Lovejoy Fresh Air
- 6:59Speaker 3: Day Island showing five Any Life is Bright to you
- 7:00Speaker 3: in part by a Bridge Valley. If you're interested in
- 7:02Speaker 3: proving your company's IT workforce, please know they offer custom

- 7:10Speaker 3: salary match. They also can supply skilled graduates and apprenticeships
- 7:13Speaker 3: for your company. Visit Bridge Valley dot edu slashed apprenticeships today.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Now people are listening right now, they're saying, well, John,
- 7:20Speaker 3: I do this myself. You know, I don't need I'm
- 7:23Speaker 3: talking just residential. We'll get to commercial here in a
- 7:25Speaker 3: couple of moments. We're talking just residential. People are listening
- 7:27Speaker 3: right now, say well, I do this myself. Why do
- 7:30Speaker 3: I need a professional company to come out and do
- 7:32Speaker 3: this service for me. The big difference is in our
- 7:34Speaker 3: filter itself. Like I said, we come out when we
- 7:37Speaker 3: build a custom fit filter for your h VIC unit.
- 7:41Speaker 3: That custom fit means it's tighter. Our frames are also metal.
- 7:46Speaker 3: They're not the cardboard or that thin plastic that you
- 7:50Speaker 3: can get at the local box stores or online. It's
- 7:54Speaker 3: in metal frames, so it's heavier. So that means whenever
- 7:58Speaker 3: your system is cooking on and off, there's no movement
- 8:01Speaker 3: in the filter. And if there's no movement in the filter,
- 8:04Speaker 3: then things aren't getting around the filter and into your
- 8:07Speaker 3: HVAC unit. So our filters really help protect.
- 8:11Speaker 5: That HVAC investment. The average HVAC repair bill just for
- 8:17Speaker 5: a home runs about seven hundred and fifty dollars, and
- 8:22Speaker 5: so you know it's a service that's going to help
- 8:30Speaker 5: pay for itself in the long run because it's going
- 8:32Speaker 5: to cause your system to work at its peak, and
- 8:36Speaker 5: it's also going to protect that investment that you made,
- 8:41Speaker 5: you know, so that you're not hit with those heavy bills.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Can you set people up on a on a contract
- 8:46Speaker 3: where we come out every so often? Is that because
- 8:49Speaker 3: I know hvac companies do that frequently. They'll come in
- 8:52Speaker 3: what's known I used to be in the business. It's
- 8:54Speaker 3: something they used to call the clean and check when
- 8:56Speaker 3: it would come out. Can you set people up just
- 8:58Speaker 3: on a contract basis where you automa just show up
- 9:01Speaker 3: at their place.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Yes, that's exactly what we do.
- 9:03Speaker 3: We see you know, we don't worry about it. You
- 9:05Speaker 3: just you just, I guess, text them, call them, send
- 9:08Speaker 3: him an email or whatever and say we're going to
- 9:09Speaker 3: be out on you know, it's time for your service.
- 9:11Speaker 3: We're going to be out the second week in April.
- 9:14Speaker 3: How does that look touly?
- 9:15Speaker 5: Yes, we actually will send them a date and UH say,
- 9:19Speaker 5: you know, this is the date that we've got you scheduled.
- 9:21Speaker 5: If there's ever any issues with that date, they can
- 9:24Speaker 5: give us a call, we can reschedule. But yes, we
- 9:28Speaker 5: do set them up based on their particular situation and
- 9:31Speaker 5: their lifestyle. You know, again, like if they've got a pet.
- 9:34Speaker 5: They're going to be done on a more frequently frequent
- 9:37Speaker 5: basis because pet dander is one of the huge cloggers.
- 9:40Speaker 5: I've got a yellow lab and I can attest to that.
- 9:44Speaker 6: Well.
- 9:44Speaker 3: We just added a cat in our house, so we
- 9:46Speaker 3: now have two cats. And the cat that we just
- 9:49Speaker 3: took in as astray is he's quite he's quite furry. Yes,
- 9:53Speaker 3: the fur is going to be flying in that house.
- 9:55Speaker 3: I joke I.
- 9:55Speaker 5: Should have named my dog Rogaine because I've never seen
- 9:59Speaker 5: something shed some up to not have bald spots. But yeah,
- 10:04Speaker 5: So we look at their particular lifestyle and we tailor
- 10:08Speaker 5: that contract to match the lifestyle of the client. And
- 10:13Speaker 5: that way, you know, they don't have to worry when
- 10:16Speaker 5: it's time. They don't have to go out and try
- 10:18Speaker 5: to find those hard to find hard sizes odd sizes.
- 10:24Speaker 5: That's the nice thing about a custom filter.
- 10:28Speaker 3: We know what that size is. When you're not going
- 10:30Speaker 3: to have to go to some box store and go
- 10:32Speaker 3: searching for it. You've got it because because they're all
- 10:34Speaker 3: different and it's not a one size fits all kind
- 10:37Speaker 3: of a deal exactly.
- 10:38Speaker 5: We come out and we, like I said, we measure
- 10:42Speaker 5: that first visit and as soon as our technician measures
- 10:47Speaker 5: where the age fact filter goes, they go out to
- 10:50Speaker 5: their van and they build it right there on site,
- 10:53Speaker 5: so that way they come back in and make sure
- 10:56Speaker 5: that's a good secure fit, you know, and then the
- 10:59Speaker 5: filters are added, and you know, from then on your set.
- 11:04Speaker 5: You know, the next visit, you've already got your filter
- 11:07Speaker 5: built and so it's just a matter of you know,
- 11:10Speaker 5: replacing the filter that's inside that frame and we're in
- 11:13Speaker 5: and out in just a few minutes. It's not going
- 11:16Speaker 5: to be, you know, something that's going to take up
- 11:18Speaker 5: your entire day. You know, when we schedule a visit,
- 11:21Speaker 5: we'll give you a time frame that we're going to
- 11:24Speaker 5: be there between this and I'll tell you it's not
- 11:26Speaker 5: like the other utilities.
- 11:29Speaker 3: You're not going to say I'm going to be there
- 11:30Speaker 3: sometime between seven am and six pm, exacty. You give
- 11:34Speaker 3: them a concrete time talk about what you can do
- 11:36Speaker 3: before we let you go. Talk about what you can do.
- 11:38Speaker 3: For commercial business commercial we do the exact same thing,
- 11:41Speaker 3: because I mean, because this is something that I know
- 11:44Speaker 3: is probably more common, is to have them, you know,
- 11:48Speaker 3: for for commercial businesses, because you talk about difficult ones
- 11:51Speaker 3: to do, especially when you deal with places with kitchens
- 11:53Speaker 3: and stuff of that nature, it's a totally different ball game.
- 11:56Speaker 5: It is a completely different ball game. We do restaurants,
- 12:00Speaker 5: we do churches. A lot of churches don't have an
- 12:03Speaker 5: on staff maintenance team, you know, so we'll do churches.
- 12:07Speaker 5: We do paint boosts, we do industrial settings, you know,
- 12:11Speaker 5: and it doesn't matter where the event is. We've got
- 12:15Speaker 5: a restaurant here in town that it's between a drop
- 12:18Speaker 5: ceiling and the regular ceiling above the cook top area.
- 12:22Speaker 5: So our our technicians are up in the ceilings, you know,
- 12:26Speaker 5: in between two layers. We do rooftops, cross spaces. It
- 12:30Speaker 5: doesn't matter where that you know, filters located. We'll go
- 12:36Speaker 5: to it and we'll get that taken.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Care of form. John love Joy of fresh Air, give

- 17:00Speaker 3: weigh in on that, plus will President Biden pardon his
- 17:03Speaker 3: son Hunter? And speaking of pardons, the annual tradition of
- 17:06Speaker 3: partning turkeys at Thanksgiving will be discussed, as will the
- 17:10Speaker 3: Trump nominees as well. Former Charleston Mayor Danny Jones will
- 17:13Speaker 3: also stop my to weigh in on that subject as well.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Plus Brad mcilhanney on today too is Hoppy with talk

- 17:21Speaker 3: the Dale Miller Building in Morgantown. Big Le Picliy Wigley
- 17:23Speaker 3: Hotline three zero four three four five fifty eight fifty
- 17:26Speaker 3: eight Tony the Taylor text three zero four nine three
- 17:28Speaker 3: five five zero zero eight. Let's welcome back to the
- 17:31Speaker 3: show after a long absence. What do I call you?
- 17:33Speaker 3: Political pundit? TJ? Meadows?
- 17:35Speaker 11: Sure, I've been calling a lot worse, that's for sure,
- 17:38Speaker 11: all right? So can I drave a bombshell on you
- 17:40Speaker 11: right from the start?
- 17:41Speaker 7: Sure?
- 17:41Speaker 11: If Biden doesn't pardon his son, I actually think Trump
- 17:44Speaker 11: bought too.
- 17:45Speaker 3: You know, I heard somebody say that the other day.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Maybe it was you, I don't know. I heard somebody
- 17:50Speaker 3: the other day say that that they thought that, in
- 17:53Speaker 3: an effort of goodwill, that that President elect Trump should
- 17:58Speaker 3: pardon Hunter Biden. So what's your reasoning behind that?
- 18:02Speaker 4: Well?
- 18:02Speaker 11: I think sometimes we have to be the change and
- 18:05Speaker 11: lead the change that we want to inspire, and President
- 18:08Speaker 11: Trump has has not held back on talking about how
- 18:11Speaker 11: the justice system has been weaponized politically. He's made that argument.
- 18:16Speaker 11: The American people can decide whether or not they want
- 18:19Speaker 11: to believe it. But I do think that a pardoning
- 18:23Speaker 11: mister Biden, Hunter Biden would be a good step and
- 18:27Speaker 11: a good faith gesture toward inspiring the change that he
- 18:31Speaker 11: wants to see, turning the cheek and not showing retribution.
- 18:36Speaker 11: I think sometimes the president is harshly criticized, and some
- 18:40Speaker 11: of that is you know, probably well due, but I
- 18:45Speaker 11: think it's a chance for him to show Americans who
- 18:49Speaker 11: voted for him, as well as Americans who perhaps didn't,
- 18:52Speaker 11: some grace and compassion that he might otherwise want to
- 18:55Speaker 11: see himself. So I think politically as well, it's moved
- 18:59Speaker 11: as a way for him. It buys him not only
- 19:02Speaker 11: goodwill with the electorate and it's you know, the way
- 19:04Speaker 11: to turn the other cheek, but I think politically it
- 19:06Speaker 11: also shows him some good will moving forward.
- 19:08Speaker 3: But we'll see if he does it or No. Well,
- 19:09Speaker 3: I was gonna say the only the caveat to that
- 19:12Speaker 3: the big the big butt here like big butts that
- 19:15Speaker 3: I cannot lie that I would throw in there is
- 19:18Speaker 3: this is Donald Trump we're talking about. It is and
- 19:20Speaker 3: uh And what I mean by that is is that
- 19:23Speaker 3: one of the things that Donald Trump ran on was
- 19:27Speaker 3: retribution and and a lot of his followers. I'm not
- 19:31Speaker 3: saying they're going to turn away from him, because at
- 19:33Speaker 3: this point we've proven it would take a whole hell
- 19:35Speaker 3: of a lot for anybody that's a hardcore Trump supporter
- 19:38Speaker 3: to turn away from him. There's very few people that
- 19:40Speaker 3: have done that. If anything, with all of the scandals
- 19:44Speaker 3: and everything that happened January sixth, whatever, they actually dug
- 19:47Speaker 3: their heels in more. I think with Donald Trump, Yeah,
- 19:51Speaker 3: I don't. I think I agree with you. I think
- 19:53Speaker 3: it would be a great gesture. I don't think it'll happen,
- 19:57Speaker 3: though it could be totally.
- 20:00Speaker 7: It may not.
- 20:00Speaker 11: And you know, I'm kind of speaking from my experience,
- 20:02Speaker 11: which is very limited, but I have never regretted treating
- 20:05Speaker 11: other people the way I want to be treated. I've
- 20:08Speaker 11: never regretted that. But again, this is Donald Trump. This
- 20:10Speaker 11: is Donald Trump. I also think there's a lesson from
- 20:13Speaker 11: Lincoln in this. You know, Lincoln said it's hard to
- 20:15Speaker 11: move forward in your future if you don't forgive yourself
- 20:16Speaker 11: and if you don't forgive others. I'm paraphrasing, but I
- 20:19Speaker 11: think there's a lot of truth in that. But you know,
- 20:21Speaker 11: we'll see what happens. I just thought was interesting you
- 20:23Speaker 11: brought it up, so all right, talking with the TJ.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Meadows of a Dave Aland Show and five Dy, I
- 20:27Speaker 3: brought to you a part by Pinnacle Consultants. Pinnacle offers
- 20:30Speaker 3: a four phase assessment for your properties, inspecting, sampling, an analysis,
- 20:34Speaker 3: comprehensive reporting, and management planning. Vis a Pinnacle Corp dot net.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Because what you don't know can hurt you, all right.
- 20:39Speaker 3: So we started off talking about politics, but I gotta
- 20:43Speaker 3: go back just for a moment, because we are three
- 20:44Speaker 3: days away from Thanksgiving, all right, Your favorite part of
- 20:47Speaker 3: the Thanksgiving, ma'am? So favorite part of the meal is
- 20:50Speaker 3: that what you said? Yeah? You know, honestly, I mean
- 20:53Speaker 3: the food, party, you know, family together us, blah blah blah.
- 20:56Speaker 3: It's all good. It's all good. I must say.
- 20:58Speaker 11: I love Thanksgiving because it does and have the pressure
- 21:00Speaker 11: of presence and everything that is with it.
- 21:02Speaker 2: I like that.
- 21:03Speaker 11: Not knocking Christmas. I love Christmas too. This is probably
- 21:06Speaker 11: a bit different. You may not have heard this, and
- 21:08Speaker 11: my mom does it for more than Thanksgiving, but one
- 21:10Speaker 11: of the things that I loved growing up and I
- 21:12Speaker 11: always look forward to, and it's part of our Thanksgiving menu.
- 21:16Speaker 11: I guess you would say her homemade macaroney salad. Okay,
- 21:20Speaker 11: believe it or not.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I love all the.
- 21:22Speaker 11: Traditional fixings, turkey stuffing, love pumpkin pie. But for whatever reason,
- 21:29Speaker 11: I look forward to that macaroni salad and I continually
- 21:33Speaker 11: eat it for two three days after.
- 21:35Speaker 3: You know, it's interesting when my wife and I were
- 21:37Speaker 3: having this conversation last night, when you talk about different
- 21:40Speaker 3: people in their different traditions, even in different parts of
- 21:42Speaker 3: the state. I had when I had Greg Thomas on
- 21:45Speaker 3: the show yesterday. I think it was Greg talked about noodles,
- 21:47Speaker 3: and I'm thinking, I mean, I'm from southern West Virginia,
- 21:50Speaker 3: You're from southern West Cainana. Noodles were really not part
- 21:53Speaker 3: of the of the menu, although I can remember my
- 21:56Speaker 3: stepmother probably making macaroni salad, but noodles was just kind
- 22:02Speaker 3: of weird to me. So my wife's family has Hungarian
- 22:05Speaker 3: roots hu and they have what they call Grandma's soup,
- 22:09Speaker 3: and we always do that around the holidays. We do
- 22:10Speaker 3: her family on the on the Saturday after mine and
- 22:13Speaker 3: Grandma's soup has always been part of that recipe, and
- 22:15Speaker 3: for the twenty years I've been a part of that
- 22:17Speaker 3: family or whatever it is. Let me tell you, if
- 22:19Speaker 3: you go hungry in a family that has Hungarian recipes
- 22:21Speaker 3: in it, it's your own faults. But Grandma's Grandma. That'd
- 22:25Speaker 3: be a great name for a band. Yeah, I'm thinking
- 22:27Speaker 3: you and I should start a band TJ. We'll call
- 22:28Speaker 3: it Grandma's Soup. All right, So we haven't. You haven't
- 22:32Speaker 3: been on in quite some timely. I was actually looking
- 22:34Speaker 3: at was July July? Oh boy, what has happened since then?
- 22:38Speaker 11: Maybe?
- 22:39Speaker 3: Well, when I had you all before, had had the
- 22:41Speaker 3: conventions even happened yet?
- 22:43Speaker 2: Uh?
- 22:43Speaker 11: You had me on the week that President Biden announced
- 22:47Speaker 11: that he was not going to seek reelection and Harris
- 22:49Speaker 11: was coming.
- 22:49Speaker 3: In okay, all right, So the conventions I guess had
- 22:52Speaker 3: not happened yet. The Trump assassination attempts had not happened yet. Uh,
- 22:58Speaker 3: And certainly the Kamala Harris lost to Donald Trump had
- 23:02Speaker 3: not happened yet. It's interesting because people that listen to
- 23:05Speaker 3: the show TJ now I'm a big fan of Bill Maher,
- 23:08Speaker 3: and I watched Bill Maher. The problem is is that
- 23:10Speaker 3: it comes on way past my bedtime. So I recorded
- 23:14Speaker 3: and I go back and watch it at some other point.
- 23:17Speaker 3: And so I realized last night was I was waiting
- 23:19Speaker 3: on the Monday that football game, and I was perusing
- 23:21Speaker 3: the things I had recorded. I had not watched this
- 23:24Speaker 3: particular Bill Maher that was recorded that actually was done live,
- 23:30Speaker 3: I should say, back in September. And so I went
- 23:33Speaker 3: back and I watched that last night, and he had
- 23:36Speaker 3: One of the panelists was a commentator from MSNBC. The
- 23:39Speaker 3: other was a national writer. I don't remember if it
- 23:41Speaker 3: was that. It might have been The New York Times,
- 23:43Speaker 3: I'm not sure they were. All the three of them
- 23:46Speaker 3: were speaking about the presidential race as if it were
- 23:50Speaker 3: a done deal that Kamala Harris was going to win.
- 23:53Speaker 3: And as they say, that did not age well. Because
- 23:57Speaker 3: Bill Maher, whom I generally speaking, I don't agree with
- 24:00Speaker 3: Bill mooreon a lot of things, but I do agree
- 24:02Speaker 3: with him on some He's usually pretty good at predictions,
- 24:05Speaker 3: and he was talking about this and he said, well,
- 24:07Speaker 3: you know, Trump's going to go away, but Trump is
- 24:09Speaker 3: well not. They were taught Trump is done. Trump is
- 24:12Speaker 3: done m in words of Lee Corso not so fast,
- 24:16Speaker 3: my friend that didn't age well, TJ. You know, I
- 24:20Speaker 3: didn't age well.
- 24:21Speaker 11: And look, I think, you know, even in September, there
- 24:23Speaker 11: was still sort of this spillover of new hope I
- 24:27Speaker 11: think in moving forward with the Democratic ticket. But honestly, yeah,
- 24:31Speaker 11: you know, and I've heard this from other people. I
- 24:33Speaker 11: don't think it's a big secret of revelation. I think
- 24:36Speaker 11: Democrats have simply forgot their roots. They've forgotten the working man.
- 24:40Speaker 11: What did this election come down to, David? Came down
- 24:42Speaker 11: to economy, and it came down to immigration and inflation
- 24:47Speaker 11: being a big part of the economic factor. You go
- 24:49Speaker 11: back and look at some of the exit polls, particularly AP,
- 24:52Speaker 11: some of the ones they did, economy was anywhere from
- 24:55Speaker 11: five to ten times more important to a voter, depending
- 24:58Speaker 11: on what state they were in. Was the last go around.
- 25:01Speaker 11: People are financially stretched, and you know, there was just
- 25:06Speaker 11: not a connection between a Harris administration and what it
- 25:10Speaker 11: could do for the economy versus what a Trump administration
- 25:14Speaker 11: was perceived to be able to provide. And look, you've
- 25:17Speaker 11: heard the President say all the time. His scorecard's the
- 25:19Speaker 11: S and P. You know, his scorecard is economic drivers.
- 25:23Speaker 11: He's ran on that had a good economy up through
- 25:25Speaker 11: COVID during the first and now. I particularly tend to
- 25:28Speaker 11: be one that says, look a lot of times the
- 25:31Speaker 11: market and what it does is outside the purview of
- 25:33Speaker 11: the President of the United States.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Sure, yea, but he.
- 25:36Speaker 11: Successfully planted that perception and has ran on it, and
- 25:40Speaker 11: it just did not resonate some of the social issues
- 25:42Speaker 11: that were more divisive in the past. You look at abortion,
- 25:45Speaker 11: you know, you know, important to roughly eleven percent of
- 25:48Speaker 11: the electorate. I think I read versus the economy being
- 25:51Speaker 11: you know, the top issues of forty percent of those voters.
- 25:54Speaker 11: You know, the Democrats would do well to go back
- 25:56Speaker 11: and listen to Carville. It's the economy, stupid, and it's
- 25:59Speaker 11: more important than it's ever It's always going to be important.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Well, and again, as I've said, and I've had textures
- 26:04Speaker 3: to the show TJ that have pointed out and others
- 26:06Speaker 3: pundits as well, well, the economy under Biden. You know,
- 26:10Speaker 3: we've added so many jobs and we've done and that's
- 26:12Speaker 3: all that's all true. Okay, However, when the average person
- 26:18Speaker 3: goes to the grocery store and they see the price
- 26:21Speaker 3: of a loaf of bread, they see the price of
- 26:23Speaker 3: a pound of bacon or a dozen eggs or whatever.
- 26:26Speaker 3: None of that really means anything. And that's what I
- 26:29Speaker 3: think you have. I think sometimes because those the political elites,
- 26:33Speaker 3: and trust me, there's just as many on the right
- 26:35Speaker 3: as there is on the let Absolutely, they are so
- 26:38Speaker 3: out of touch with the average person and the average
- 26:42Speaker 3: family that they don't realize. They look at these economic
- 26:45Speaker 3: things and they say, well, you know, we've added more
- 26:47Speaker 3: jobs under Biden, the economies exploding. Okay, what are you
- 26:49Speaker 3: paying at a grocery store? And again, right or wrong,
- 26:52Speaker 3: they're going to blame the person in the White House.
- 26:53Speaker 3: You know, whether it's a Republican or Democrat.
- 26:55Speaker 11: Show me a Washington politician without the help of a
- 26:57Speaker 11: staffer that can tell me what a gallon of milk
- 26:59Speaker 11: costs today and their district, I'd be very surprised if
- 27:02Speaker 11: they could quote it. Quite frankly, one of the problems
- 27:05Speaker 11: with that. You know, we went through post COVID and
- 27:07Speaker 11: you can argue whether or not the IRA put too
- 27:09Speaker 11: many dollars into the economy or whatever, but we went
- 27:12Speaker 11: through some massive periods of inflation. And while the left
- 27:16Speaker 11: has done a good job of saying, look, we've held inflation,
- 27:18Speaker 11: inflation's down two percent, the problem is coming down two
- 27:21Speaker 11: percent when you went up in some cases, you know,
- 27:24Speaker 11: fifteen percent, depending on the commodity you're talking about, you're
- 27:28Speaker 11: still you know, net way higher than what you were.
- 27:30Speaker 11: And that's what people are truly looking at. They're still
- 27:33Speaker 11: comparing prices to pa back before we saw the supply
- 27:36Speaker 11: chain interruptions, we saw you know, too many dollars in
- 27:39Speaker 11: the economy with what was going on post COVID. Right,
- 27:42Speaker 11: So you know, today in twenty twenty four, you're hearkening
- 27:46Speaker 11: back to twenty twenty, twenty, nineteen, twenty twenty one, when
- 27:49Speaker 11: prices were still a lot lower and we haven't had
- 27:52Speaker 11: any deflation in the economy. We can argue whether or
- 27:54Speaker 11: not that's a good thing, but people still remember those
- 27:58Speaker 11: prices and they haven't.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Gotten farmer members. Leave it to me, I'm going to
- 28:03Speaker 3: come up with something like that, all right, I got
- 28:05Speaker 3: some tex. Yeah, well, you know, it's a curse.
- 28:09Speaker 11: I think it's a Some people may say it's a
- 28:12Speaker 11: quiet taste.
- 28:12Speaker 3: I like, yeah, well, talk to my wife about it.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Tex says, Uh, it would be odd brand for Republicans
- 28:19Speaker 3: if Trump pardoned Hunter Biden after all the taxpayer money
- 28:22Speaker 3: and resources they wasted in that political witch hut. Just
- 28:25Speaker 3: another day of Republicans wasting taxpayer money to further their
- 28:29Speaker 3: political agenda.
- 28:30Speaker 11: What's odd about maybe trying to do the right thing
- 28:32Speaker 11: is all I would say to that. What's what's odd
- 28:35Speaker 11: about treating someone the way you want to be treated
- 28:37Speaker 11: if you've gone through a period that you think was unjust.
- 28:40Speaker 11: I'm not saying Trump will do that. You and I
- 28:41Speaker 11: just spoke about it, but you know, never, never, never
- 28:44Speaker 11: a wrong time to do the right thing.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Tex says, Remember when Trump put tariffs on China that
- 28:48Speaker 3: hurt American farmers and then the federal government had to
- 28:50Speaker 3: bail out the farmers. That unnecessarily spending, unnecessary spending, I'm sorry,
- 28:55Speaker 3: definitely didn't contribute to inflation. Sarcasm those IT texts.
- 28:59Speaker 11: I mean, look, we're we're in a period where you know,
- 29:02Speaker 11: tariffs do more than just regulate economy. You have security mechanism,
- 29:08Speaker 11: mechanisms within tariffs. You know you have to say, okay,
- 29:10Speaker 11: why are we off boarding?
- 29:12Speaker 12: Uh?
- 29:13Speaker 11: So many manufacturing jobs to America when we could bring
- 29:16Speaker 11: some of those back. You bring some of the manufacturing
- 29:18Speaker 11: people in, and they'll tell you that, Look, if you
- 29:21Speaker 11: manufacture a good in America, right the company is based here,
- 29:25Speaker 11: they're going to pay a corporate net income tax. They're
- 29:27Speaker 11: going to pay all kinds of different things that someone
- 29:30Speaker 11: that is importing that from China is not going to pay.
- 29:33Speaker 11: If you think about a tariff as leveling the playing field,
- 29:37Speaker 11: different story. All right, I understand we have a call,
- 29:39Speaker 11: so Ryan, let's put Don on the air. Don you're
- 29:42Speaker 11: on with TJ. Meadows and myself.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Good morning, sir, Good.
- 29:46Speaker 13: Morning, how are you all.
- 29:47Speaker 3: We don't find that.
- 29:50Speaker 13: I appreciate the goodwill that pardon if President Trump or
- 29:54Speaker 13: to pardon Biden, but no, I mean, it seems like
- 30:00Speaker 13: of our Republicans have always taken the high road and
- 30:03Speaker 13: it always gets them in the in the end. I
- 30:07Speaker 13: know so many people have to think Republicans are the
- 30:09Speaker 13: dirty pool players here, but by entire life of sixty
- 30:13Speaker 13: three years, and it has always been the Democrats. I've
- 30:15Speaker 13: never heard bipartisan, honest bypartisanship come from a Democrat unless
- 30:21Speaker 13: they're in the minority. And that's the truth.
- 30:24Speaker 6: I haven't.
- 30:24Speaker 13: And about the tariffs, you know, just think of the
- 30:28Speaker 13: tariffs as a corporate tax. If you're against tariffs, then
- 30:32Speaker 13: you must be against corporate taxes when you think, yeah,
- 30:35Speaker 13: I just kind.
- 30:35Speaker 11: Of made your point there, don Because if you're a
- 30:38Speaker 11: Dome domestic manufacturer, you're paying a corporate net income tax. Right,
- 30:42Speaker 11: If you're manufacturing in China and then shipping in you're
- 30:44Speaker 11: not paying that. So in that instance, I think there's
- 30:47Speaker 11: a very real argument to be made that you're leveling
- 30:50Speaker 11: the playing field.
- 30:52Speaker 13: Well that's all I had. I'm driving and I'm a
- 30:54Speaker 13: little bit preoccupied in trafficking.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Well, all right, and safe, buddy, appreciate you being here.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Tex says one needs convicted of a crime to be pardoned.
- 31:02Speaker 3: I've wondered what federal crime turkeys do every year to
- 31:05Speaker 3: get pardoned. Yeah, that's good. I had to defer to
- 31:08Speaker 3: lawyers on that they're guilty of foul play.
- 31:12Speaker 11: Yeah, all right, Perhaps what happens, don't they bring two
- 31:15Speaker 11: to the White House and they pick Yeah, what happens
- 31:17Speaker 11: to the other two?
- 31:17Speaker 3: No, I think they both got partoned. Oh okay, yeah,
- 31:19Speaker 3: I think they both got parted. Talk about a lose. Well,
- 31:22Speaker 3: you know, Democrats. It's a safety net for everything. It's
- 31:25Speaker 3: a safety net for everything. Text said, not political. I
- 31:29Speaker 3: know the noodles Greg Thomas speaks of. Think of the
- 31:32Speaker 3: thick yellow Pennsylvania Amish country noodles and gravy. Ok.
- 31:37Speaker 11: That kind of sounds like a Hungarian noodle too. Well,
- 31:39Speaker 11: you know Gregor's Gregor's from northern West Virginia. They don't
- 31:42Speaker 11: put slaw on their hot dogs. So I don't, I don't,
- 31:45Speaker 11: I don't care, I don't care anybody from that. I'll
- 31:47Speaker 11: tell you the time I was or I was in
- 31:49Speaker 11: Philly rather and try to get chili on my hot dog.
- 31:52Speaker 3: That was an experience. I bet, I bet well. My
- 31:54Speaker 3: wife is from Chicago. Get right of Chicago dog. They're
- 31:57Speaker 3: a little bit different. You know, I like them, but
- 31:59Speaker 3: it's got a lot of vegetables and pickle spears and
- 32:01Speaker 3: sport peppers and you know they it's a it's a
- 32:04Speaker 3: it's a science that there's put bean chilly on it. Yeah. Uh, Texas.
- 32:07Speaker 3: For many people, Trump and Maga is a sacred sacred
- 32:12Speaker 3: is a sacred religious experience. They are very cultish in
- 32:16Speaker 3: their behavior.
- 32:18Speaker 11: I mean, look, I'm not going to try to stereotype,
- 32:21Speaker 11: Maga or or anybody else. All I'm saying is this,
- 32:24Speaker 11: and notwithstanding the point that that Don made previously, just me,
- 32:29Speaker 11: just me and my two cents, if if I were
- 32:32Speaker 11: the president, I would sleep a little better at night
- 32:35Speaker 11: if I pardoned him and I took the high road,
- 32:37Speaker 11: even if others don't.
- 32:38Speaker 3: I want to do what's right. But I was gonna say,
- 32:40Speaker 3: but do you think though that he's gonna I mean
- 32:43Speaker 3: that he's going to lose some base because here's the thing.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Trump won overwhelmingly. We all know that. But during the
- 32:49Speaker 3: campaign and even after he after the victory, there are
- 32:52Speaker 3: bits of people that have some questions within the Republican
- 32:54Speaker 3: Party about about Donald Trump. Uh, and they weren't happy
- 32:59Speaker 3: with certain things that Trump said, or one texture to
- 33:03Speaker 3: the show said, he's turning his back on evangelicals. Now,
- 33:07Speaker 3: the fact that you're going to equate Donald Trump with
- 33:10Speaker 3: an evangelical, to me is kind of a far stretch.
- 33:13Speaker 3: But before we go to break any thoughts that may
- 33:16Speaker 3: actually cost him if he did that, TJ, it may
- 33:20Speaker 3: cost him in the short run.
- 33:21Speaker 11: But this is a guy that, for whatever reason, you
- 33:23Speaker 11: can say what you want about him, he tends to
- 33:24Speaker 11: think long term and long term if this buys him
- 33:27Speaker 11: goodwill and he's able to trade it for something legislatively
- 33:30Speaker 11: or administratively that he wants to get done in some
- 33:32Speaker 11: of these agencies, silly not to make the deal.
- 33:35Speaker 3: I'm talking with TJ. Meadows, Special Olympics and bodies a

- 36:36Speaker 11: to the extremes. Maybe that's why I'm you know, mismatched.
- 36:39Speaker 3: But just what it is text says no to partnering Hunter,
- 36:43Speaker 3: Do you seriously believe for one second that any progressive
- 36:46Speaker 3: president would pardon Trump, Don Junior, Eric Evaka, et cetera. No,
- 36:50Speaker 3: All they've talked about was getting Trump Alvin Braggleta James
- 36:53Speaker 3: campaign on that they hate this man, and they've made
- 36:55Speaker 3: no secret of that. Enough of the constant caving to
- 36:58Speaker 3: the Marxist in this country, mister Meadows, I get it.
- 37:01Speaker 11: I simply think that entertaining it would go a long
- 37:05Speaker 11: way toward healing the country and maybe getting some of
- 37:08Speaker 11: this division behind us and actually being able to govern
- 37:11Speaker 11: because you know, in a split term presidency, you know
- 37:14Speaker 11: that is now a lane duck presidency effectively at some
- 37:17Speaker 11: point can't run again. You know that first one hundred
- 37:20Speaker 11: days is going to be pivotal, and that first six
- 37:23Speaker 11: seven months is going to be pivotal because you know
- 37:25Speaker 11: then you're going to have the House already running for
- 37:27Speaker 11: reelection and it's getting quicker and quicker in terms of
- 37:30Speaker 11: the election cycles. So this Republican trifecta, you need to
- 37:33Speaker 11: move quickly, yep, moves and move aggressively in order to
- 37:37Speaker 11: get your legislative agenda. And you know, in a post
- 37:40Speaker 11: Chevron deference world where the Court in Loper has said
- 37:44Speaker 11: the agencies no longer have deference, the courts will interpret
- 37:48Speaker 11: based on their judgment. That really puts an onus back
- 37:51Speaker 11: on Congress to do what they should have been doing
- 37:53Speaker 11: all along, which is regulate with specificity, legislate with specificity,
- 37:59Speaker 11: and clearly put into the law what is applicable, what
- 38:02Speaker 11: is in bounds, and what is not. And given those factors,
- 38:06Speaker 11: you got to move, and you got to move quick.
- 38:08Speaker 11: I will say this about Trump, and I said this
- 38:12Speaker 11: on the show numerous times. There's no excuses, now, you know.
- 38:16Speaker 11: I mean, heaven forbid we have another COVID. They say
- 38:19Speaker 11: we're going to have one eventually, but maybe hopefully not
- 38:21Speaker 11: over the next couple of years. But if he doesn't
- 38:23Speaker 11: have that, and and and he's got allies so to speak,
- 38:28Speaker 11: in the other houses and the other branches, the things
- 38:31Speaker 11: he's promised his followers, he's going to have to get done.
- 38:35Speaker 3: I mean, he really really does there. I mean, first
- 38:40Speaker 3: of all, they're not going to deport that many people. Okay,
- 38:42Speaker 3: that's not going to happen. It's not financially feasible. And
- 38:45Speaker 3: plus it will cripple the US economy. You're not in
- 38:48Speaker 3: your head. You don't agree with that. No, No, it's
- 38:52Speaker 3: not going to happen. I just look, you could.
- 38:55Speaker 11: You could create the largest law enforcement agency no demand
- 38:59Speaker 11: to go out and round people up. It's still not practical.
- 39:01Speaker 11: I mean, it's gonna take a.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Lot, and it will. It will destroy the US economy.
- 39:05Speaker 3: That's that's true. There's a lot of jobs out there
- 39:07Speaker 3: that Americas. Just to me, I saw an interview on
- 39:09Speaker 3: TV the day with a farmer in California and said, hey,
- 39:11Speaker 3: we tried like heck to get Americas to do these jobs.
- 39:14Speaker 3: They won't do these jobs. So you talk about you
- 39:17Speaker 3: start deporting all the Look, I don't like the system either, TJ.
- 39:20Speaker 3: But you start deporting all these people that he's talking
- 39:23Speaker 3: about deporting, you talk about your prices rising, Yeah, because
- 39:28Speaker 3: these are the ones. Now, I'm not talking about the
- 39:30Speaker 3: bad guys. I'm not talking about the gangs and so
- 39:32Speaker 3: on and so on and so forth. I'm talking about
- 39:34Speaker 3: the ones that are here working, albeit possibly illegally. You
- 39:38Speaker 3: talk about crippling an economy, Dude, that's gonna cripple an economy.
- 39:41Speaker 11: No, And look, the president is really good. Whether people
- 39:45Speaker 11: see through it or not, the fear is still there,
- 39:47Speaker 11: you know. You know the old adage is I forget
- 39:49Speaker 11: the player. But there was an NBA player that didn't
- 39:51Speaker 11: want to get physical, right. He didn't want to. He
- 39:53Speaker 11: wanted to play the game clean. He didn't want to
- 39:55Speaker 11: play it dirty. And his coach said, all you got
- 39:57Speaker 11: to do is throw an elbow one time, and do
- 39:59Speaker 11: it on national tele vision and see that you're serious.
- 40:01Speaker 11: You'll never have to do it again. Trump already threw
- 40:03Speaker 11: an out low. He's done that plenty of time. So
- 40:05Speaker 11: now people understand that if you really want to press
- 40:07Speaker 11: him on it. You know, look I heard earlier, I
- 40:11Speaker 11: think on your show maybe someone else's you're talking about.
- 40:13Speaker 11: The president's negotiating tactic is to come in and punch
- 40:15Speaker 11: somebody in the face and then start negotiating with him.
- 40:17Speaker 3: He did that. He doesn't have to do that anymore.
- 40:20Speaker 11: And if your president Trump, you know, you come out
- 40:24Speaker 11: strong and then you figure out what is practical, And
- 40:27Speaker 11: to your point, I just don't think it's practical to
- 40:29Speaker 11: be able to get that done for a lot of reasons.
- 40:31Speaker 11: Tex says, Trump staring into the eclipse with no eye
- 40:33Speaker 11: protection is the perfect metaphor for the Republican Party.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Let's see, Oh, so did you send this text in
- 40:43Speaker 3: over here while you're on the air and you're pretty good? Good? Heavens,
- 40:48Speaker 3: why doesn't TJ Meadows have a full time show?
- 40:50Speaker 2: Sure?
- 40:51Speaker 3: He would like Sure would like to see more TJ
- 40:53Speaker 3: on the airwaves. Well, I'm an acquired taste as well.
- 40:56Speaker 11: So.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Let me see here.
- 40:59Speaker 10: Tex says.
- 40:59Speaker 3: You can say tariff's level the playing field, but prices
- 41:02Speaker 3: go up. Period. We sell less goods to foreign countries. Period.
- 41:05Speaker 3: How will this help the economy?
- 41:09Speaker 11: You know, traditionally I would I would agree, But as
- 41:12Speaker 11: I said, there's more of these days than when you
- 41:15Speaker 11: have players like China that are constantly manipulating their currency
- 41:19Speaker 11: to make their dollar or their you know, their equivalent
- 41:22Speaker 11: of the dollar weaker than ours so that their goods
- 41:25Speaker 11: become less expensive and their artificially manipulating their currency. Look,
- 41:29Speaker 11: all games are off. Free trade only works in a
- 41:32Speaker 11: fair and regulated market, all.
- 41:33Speaker 3: Right, I think we have a call. Ryan, if you're ready,
- 41:35Speaker 3: let's go to talk to Brian. You're on with TJ
- 41:37Speaker 3: and Dave.
- 41:38Speaker 6: Go ahead, good morning. What these jobs that Americans won't
- 41:42Speaker 6: do are keep being performed by the people illegally entering
- 41:50Speaker 6: in our country? How long is the illegal entry into
- 41:57Speaker 6: the country going to be allowed? Going to keep doing this?
- 42:01Speaker 6: And when you say you can't afford it, how can
- 42:03Speaker 6: we afford to put these people up in the best
- 42:06Speaker 6: hotels in the country where that people that visited those
- 42:12Speaker 6: nice cities before can't even get a reservation. I don't
- 42:17Speaker 6: understand the logic and what you're saying. The people that
- 42:20Speaker 6: come here legally ought to be able to work here,
- 42:24Speaker 6: but the people slip across the border. How many of
- 42:27Speaker 6: them are not coming here to work? How many are
- 42:30Speaker 6: coming after the goodies and to do wrong to us?
- 42:33Speaker 3: There are Okay, all right, Brian, appreciate your phone call.
- 42:36Speaker 3: There are a lot of people that do that, and
- 42:39Speaker 3: I agree. I am what I'm talking about to the
- 42:42Speaker 3: caller and TJ you could jump in here as well.
- 42:44Speaker 3: What I'm talking about is it And I know people
- 42:47Speaker 3: hate this term, it is what it is, but it
- 42:49Speaker 3: is what it is. I mean people are coming here
- 42:51Speaker 3: and they are doing the jobs that Americans don't. I
- 42:54Speaker 3: wish it weren't that way. Most of the employers probably
- 42:56Speaker 3: wish it weren't that way, but it is. Yeah, the
- 42:59Speaker 3: border has to be a hundred per secure and we
- 43:01Speaker 3: should do a better job with that. And we have
- 43:03Speaker 3: to get the border area tonight right. It's got to
- 43:05Speaker 3: be tight, and the illegal entrants have to stop. But
- 43:08Speaker 3: for folks that are already here, and maybe people that
- 43:12Speaker 3: have been here for twenty years and have children that
- 43:14Speaker 3: were born here, practically, you have to figure that out.
- 43:17Speaker 3: We have to come up with some kind of solution.
- 43:19Speaker 3: It's not a one size fits all and you can't
- 43:21Speaker 3: just support all of them. One figure that I saw
- 43:23Speaker 3: said that if there is a court case involved here,
- 43:27Speaker 3: the average person, now this could this is antecdotal, as
- 43:30Speaker 3: Hopey would say that the average case is one hundred
- 43:33Speaker 3: thousand dollars. How many illegals do we have here right now?
- 43:37Speaker 3: All right? Times that times one hundred thousand dollars. That's
- 43:41Speaker 3: what it's going to cost to do this. I wish
- 43:42Speaker 3: we wouldn't have gotten in this situation. I mean, make
- 43:44Speaker 3: no mistake about it. I wish we weren't in this situation,
- 43:47Speaker 3: but we what we are. Let me knock out a
- 43:50Speaker 3: couple checks before we go to break here, Tex says
- 43:52Speaker 3: on the pardoning Hunter Biden, which TJ's I really opened
- 43:56Speaker 3: the can of worms with all that four? Tex says, No,
- 43:59Speaker 3: it will not heal the cut. What happens every time
- 44:01Speaker 3: someone caves to a left and apologizes for their opinion.
- 44:04Speaker 3: That's never enough. They push more and more and double
- 44:06Speaker 3: down on their way to no way, says the text.
- 44:09Speaker 11: Don't confuse kindness with weakness.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Never confuse kindness with weakness.
- 44:14Speaker 11: I have learned and my experiences taught me that you
- 44:17Speaker 11: can be both, and I think if the President wanted
- 44:20Speaker 11: to take that path, he could do it.
- 44:22Speaker 3: All Right, we need to take a break. We'll be

- 47:20Speaker 3: A lot not done yet, so many witch hunts to
- 47:23Speaker 3: destroy the man Democrats wasted so much tax money. So
- 47:26Speaker 3: the American people have had enough now continue, Yes they have.
- 47:30Speaker 11: I mean there's no doubt that. Look, that was a
- 47:34Speaker 11: poor decision, and you know we're seeing that. We're seeing
- 47:38Speaker 11: that play out now. You know this morning at the
- 47:40Speaker 11: lead prosecutor announced they we're dropping all the federal charges
- 47:43Speaker 11: and it's not going anywhere. I did see Alvin Bragg,
- 47:46Speaker 11: which I thought was really something on his part, asked
- 47:50Speaker 11: for a four year stay so they would be able
- 47:52Speaker 11: to take out the Manhattan charges after the fact. I mean,
- 47:55Speaker 11: the best thing to do. It's been a waste of
- 47:57Speaker 11: time from the start. You don't go out after a
- 48:00Speaker 11: president unless they've done something that rises in office to
- 48:04Speaker 11: the point of espionage, you know, something really critical. I'm
- 48:07Speaker 11: being a little hyperbolic there, but you know, the court
- 48:09Speaker 11: weighed in on this with their ruling. The Court gave
- 48:12Speaker 11: us a framework to understand when a president should be
- 48:16Speaker 11: prosecuted and when a president should not be prosecuted, and
- 48:19Speaker 11: we should hold it that framework vigorously.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Tex says MS thirteen became an international criminal organization with
- 48:25Speaker 3: the US deported immigrants back to El Salvador. We need
- 48:28Speaker 3: to be cautious not to make the same mistake. Tex
- 48:31Speaker 3: says the border will never be one hundred percent secure
- 48:34Speaker 3: if we do. People need to wake up and realize
- 48:38Speaker 3: the average American will not do the hardly work immigrants
- 48:41Speaker 3: will do. We're spoiled and want our cake and eat
- 48:44Speaker 3: it too while looking down our noses that the people
- 48:45Speaker 3: who are truly putting food on our table.
- 48:48Speaker 11: So, as a guy that has owned businesses in this
- 48:50Speaker 11: community and is friends with a lot of business owners
- 48:53Speaker 11: in this community, I could get on my phone right
- 48:55Speaker 11: now and call five different people and they would tell
- 48:57Speaker 11: you that they're actively trying to hire anywhere from ten
- 49:00Speaker 11: to twenty five people and they can't fill those jobs. Now,
- 49:03Speaker 11: we can all debate about why that is, but it's there, Texas, Dave,
- 49:07Speaker 11: if you still don't get it, the people who voted
- 49:09Speaker 11: for President Trump did so because they want a secure border,
- 49:11Speaker 11: say for communities, lower food and gas prices, and no
- 49:14Speaker 11: more wars. It's that simple economy. And immigration.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Texts says Nope, no citizenship for illegals. Nope. That's the
- 49:24Speaker 3: only thing Democrats care about is making them into voters.
- 49:27Speaker 3: If these people were going to vote conservative, that border
- 49:29Speaker 3: would have been shut down in a heartbeat. Sick of
- 49:31Speaker 3: hearing Trump supporters are part of a cult, Excuse me.
- 49:33Speaker 3: We are not the ones telling people to cut out,
- 49:35Speaker 3: avoid or not to speak to family members because they
- 49:38Speaker 3: voted for someone we didn't want. We are not the
- 49:40Speaker 3: ones that physically assaulted someone because they say something we
- 49:43Speaker 3: don't like or disagree with. Okay, that's not true, and
- 49:47Speaker 3: those are signs of cults, Manson Family, Heaven's Gate, Waco, etc.
- 49:52Speaker 3: I would take issue with some of what that texture
- 49:54Speaker 3: said because some of the right, the extreme right wing,
- 49:57Speaker 3: have done the exact same thing there.
- 49:59Speaker 11: What did we just side as Americans to define ourselves
- 50:02Speaker 11: based on who we voted for in the last election?
- 50:05Speaker 11: When did when did that become popular? When did we
- 50:07Speaker 11: become so thin skinned that we were so afraid in
- 50:11Speaker 11: our arguments that we had to vilify when social media arguments?
- 50:15Speaker 3: When social media became a thing, and and when we
- 50:20Speaker 3: started going out TJ not watching Walter Cronkite and I'm
- 50:24Speaker 3: using that as an old, old person's example. Uh, And
- 50:27Speaker 3: we started going out to find news that most aligns
- 50:32Speaker 3: with our viewpoint Fox News, MSNBC, CNN when those organizations,
- 50:38Speaker 3: in my opinion, well Fox News was never legitimate news.
- 50:40Speaker 3: They said so in court when they when they got
- 50:43Speaker 3: away from just reporting the news and started slanting it.
- 50:47Speaker 3: And people then went out and started seeking out news
- 50:50Speaker 3: think Newsmax or something like that that most aligns with
- 50:54Speaker 3: their particular You can text me, or you can call
- 50:57Speaker 3: me anything. You can say something to me, TJ and
- 50:59Speaker 3: I I will promise you I could go on the
- 51:01Speaker 3: internet right now and I can find something to refute
- 51:03Speaker 3: it on a quote unquote reputable news. Sure, that's when
- 51:07Speaker 3: it all happened in my opinion. All right, we actually
- 51:09Speaker 3: had you on here today and I've only got about
- 51:11Speaker 3: forty five seconds left or so to talk about some
- 51:15Speaker 3: of the Trump nominees.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:17Speaker 11: So for West Virginia, really look at Lee's Eldon Epa,
- 51:22Speaker 11: look hard at Doug Bergham, the former governor of North
- 51:25Speaker 11: Dakota once he starts to run the Interior Department, and
- 51:28Speaker 11: look very hard at Chris Wright, who is a fracking guy.
- 51:31Speaker 11: Liberty energy out in Colorado. If you look at West Virginia,
- 51:35Speaker 11: one of the things that is most tied to our economy,
- 51:38Speaker 11: no surprise, is energy, whether it's coal, natural gas, whatever
- 51:41Speaker 11: it may be. And the administrative state has become so
- 51:45Speaker 11: powerful in Washington. It got to start, you know, back
- 51:47Speaker 11: in the Woodrow Wilson days. FDR obviously took it to
- 51:50Speaker 11: a whole new level. Watch these three individuals, Watch what
- 51:54Speaker 11: they do for energy. It'll be good for the economy
- 51:56Speaker 11: in West Virginia. All right.
- 51:57Speaker 3: We got to leave it there. Every day Island Show
