- Sarahn Sankofa: Hello beautiful people. Today is September the 16th and today's calendar challenge is Love Your. Yes, loving yourself doesn't require believing you're perfect. It's just making peace with the parts of you that you've been taught to criticize and recognizing that being human is part of what makes you you. Being flawed is part of what Makes you you. Flaws are a part of the package. You don't have to treat your flaws like they're emergencies. You don't have to compare your flaws to the perceived flaws or lack thereof of others. Loving yourself means loving the complicated parts. It means celebrating the mishaps. It means rejoicing in the losses and the regains. It's Understanding the deeper journey and impact of everything that may not present is perfect. Because that perfection, that that's an illusion. What's real is what is, and what is is what you should love. You can grow without rejecting yourself. You can love yourself and say, I'm proud of who I am and who I'm still becoming. And it doesn't mean that you are behind. It doesn't mean that you don't have what you need. It doesn't mean that you're not exactly where you're supposed to be in the exact form that you're supposed to be there. So give yourself the grace you give others. And let yourself be a little imperfect. You don't have to be flawless to be you. Just enough is more than enough, Saran says.
