Nine Missing in Nepal Flood Disaster | South Korea News
Nine Korean workers remain missing after a catastrophic flood hit a hydropower site in Nepal, with the site manager refusing to evacuate until all Nepali workers were safe. Military helicopters rescued 10 Doosan employees and hundreds of locals, but search efforts are hampered by rugged terrain and denied flight clearance from Nepali authorities. The Korean government is now considering drones to aid the search as part of a broader disaster claiming over 760 lives and more than 3,000 missing across the Himalayas.
