- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, we'll take some calls in a minute. 800-321-0710 is
- 0:03Speaker 1: the number. Hey, they are going to name the airport
- 0:08Speaker 1: in Nashville, Tennessee after Dolly Parton. The vote was unanimous.
- 0:13Speaker 1: So it will become the Dolly Parton International Airport. Very unusual.
- 0:20Speaker 1: No matter how big a star you are, it's very
- 0:21Speaker 1: unusual to have an airport named after you. There's a
- 0:25Speaker 1: Bob Hope Airport in California.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Uh, Liverpool has a John Lennon airport, but, uh, a
- 0:35Speaker 1: lot of politicians, of course, there's a George Bush airport
- 0:37Speaker 1: in Houston, Gerald Ford airport in Grand Rapids, Michigan, little rockets,
- 0:43Speaker 1: the bill and Hillary Clinton national airport. Now I can
- 0:47Speaker 1: understand the bill Clinton national airport. How does Hillary get
- 0:50Speaker 1: her name in there? I guess they're a little afraid
- 0:52Speaker 1: of her down there. So of course there's Kennedy airport.
- 0:55Speaker 1: There's a Lincoln, uh, Capitol airport in, uh, Springfield, there's
- 1:00Speaker 1: Reagan Airport. Now there's a Donald J. Trump International Airport
- 1:05Speaker 1: in Palm Beach, the Palm Beach Airport, wonderful airport, easiest
- 1:09Speaker 1: one to get in and out of, is now the
- 1:12Speaker 1: President Donald J. Trump International Airport, forcing, I'm not kidding
- 1:16Speaker 1: about this, forcing a lot of left-wingers to not fly there,
- 1:21Speaker 1: even if they live there, instead going to the Fort
- 1:24Speaker 1: Lauderdale Airport, even the Miami Airport, just because they don't
- 1:27Speaker 1: want to go through the Donald Trump Airport I'm trying
- 1:31Speaker 1: to look at the list here.
- 1:33Speaker 3: There's a lot of.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Airports that shouldn't be named after. In Vermont, there's a
- 1:36Speaker 1: Patrick Leahy International Airport. He was the dirtiest, sleaziest senator.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Same thing in Las Vegas. You've got the Harry Reid
- 1:43Speaker 1: International Airport. Such a dirty, sleazy guy. I'm looking at
- 1:49Speaker 1: all these names. Now, there's not a lot of celebrity names.
- 1:52Speaker 1: So highly unusual. As I said, there's a Bob Hope
- 1:54Speaker 1: Airport in Burbank, California. Wow. That's very unusual. John Glenn Airport.
- 2:03Speaker 1: But just show business, celebrities, that's the tiniest list in
- 2:06Speaker 1: the world. Anyway, let's take some calls. Let's go to
- 2:09Speaker 1: Charles in Miller Place. Charles, how are you doing?
- 2:13Speaker 3: Hi, Mark. How are you?
- 2:15Speaker 1: Good.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Good.
- 2:17Speaker 4: I was at the St. James Theater yesterday and I
- 2:19Speaker 4: saw a Titanic. And they put in a derogatory line
- 2:24Speaker 4: about the $ 5, 000 check from Donald Trump in the play.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Really?
- 2:29Speaker 1: Now, you're talking about the show, it's Titanic, but what
- 2:32Speaker 1: do they call it, Titanic?
- 2:34Speaker 3: Titanic.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it's funny.
- 2:36Speaker 5: It's very funny.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Jim Parsons is in it.
- 2:38Speaker 5: He's hard to watch.
- 2:39Speaker 4: He's like watching someone on the spectrum dance around the stage,
- 2:42Speaker 4: but he was very funny.
- 2:45Speaker 1: All right. Well, that's okay. They do that in Broadway.
- 2:47Speaker 1: They're all left-wing. The Broadway crowd from the people on
- 2:51Speaker 1: stage to the producers, they're very, very, very left-wing. They
- 2:55Speaker 1: all have Trump derangement syndrome. You know, they don't realize
- 2:57Speaker 1: when they put this stuff in the show, 96% of
- 3:00Speaker 1: the Broadway crowd are from out of town. You know,
- 3:03Speaker 1: they're from the heartland. They're from the Midwest. They're not
- 3:05Speaker 1: into this Trump derangement syndrome. So it kind of annoys
- 3:09Speaker 1: the crowd, but they don't care. Let's go to Mike
- 3:12Speaker 1: in Florida. Mike, how are you doing?
- 3:15Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Yes, Mike.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Another point about the president's promise of a $ 5, 000 dividend,
- 3:22Speaker 2: as he puts it, is I know the Kristen Welkers
- 3:25Speaker 2: and that ilk never call out any of the people
- 3:27Speaker 2: advocating for reparations. They never have Kathy Hochul or Gavin
- 3:32Speaker 2: Newsom on, you know, questioning them.
- 3:35Speaker 3: How are you going to pay for it?
- 3:36Speaker 2: Not to mention that trillions have been spent basically since
- 3:39Speaker 2: the LBJ Great Society on, you know, what anybody else
- 3:43Speaker 2: would call reparations.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Kristen Welker, totally corrupt. Sunday shows, totally corrupt. Yeah, it's
- 3:49Speaker 1: like Obama with his... Not the phones, but Biden with
- 3:53Speaker 1: the student loans.
- 3:54Speaker 5: Yeah, the Obama phone.
- 3:56Speaker 1: But not one of these hosts ever said to Biden,
- 3:59Speaker 1: how do you have any authority to forgive a student loan?
- 4:01Speaker 1: How on earth can you? Nobody questioned him on it. Exactly.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Or free health care.
- 4:06Speaker 2: You know, Obamacare is free health care for everybody, even
- 4:08Speaker 2: though people still are uninsured, nevertheless. By the way, did
- 4:13Speaker 2: he notice that Art Garfunkel said he's going to leave
- 4:15Speaker 2: the country? I didn't know.
- 4:17Speaker 1: He was still in the country. That's the problem here.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I didn't know the guy was still alive, but okay. Yeah,
- 4:22Speaker 1: we'll get to that coming up. Art Garfunkel. Don't get upset, everybody.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Art Garfunkel is leaving the country.
- 4:30Speaker 2: The more forgotten they are, the more strident they are
- 4:33Speaker 2: about leaving. It's incredible.
- 4:34Speaker 1: It's a pretty funny story. We'll get to that coming up.
- 4:37Speaker 1: But thanks for calling, Mike. Let's go to Mike in Brooklyn. Mike,
- 4:41Speaker 1: how are you doing?
- 4:43Speaker 3: Hey, good morning, Mark. How are you? Good.
- 4:46Speaker 5: Good, Mark. Did you see on Friday at the Yankees-Mets
- 4:49Speaker 5: game some lunatic ran out with a free Palestine flag
- 4:52Speaker 5: at exactly 9-11? How do you stop these people, Mark?
- 4:56Speaker 1: Well, listen, you've always had that. There's always people running
- 4:59Speaker 1: out in the field in the game with some banner,
- 5:01Speaker 1: some crazy thing, some whatever. It always happens. It's nothing new.
- 5:06Speaker 1: This time it was a Palestinian flag, but it would
- 5:09Speaker 1: have been a Black Lives Matter flag. They're always running
- 5:11Speaker 1: on the field. They always get tackled. carried away. They're
- 5:14Speaker 1: very careful not to show it on TV, not to
- 5:17Speaker 1: give any publicity to the person. However, the next day,
- 5:21Speaker 1: the picture's everywhere, so what's the difference? The greatest one,
- 5:24Speaker 1: remember years ago, a protester jumped on the field, grabbed
- 5:31Speaker 1: the American flag. He was going to do something with
- 5:33Speaker 1: the American flag. And remember, who was the great Los
- 5:35Speaker 1: Angeles Dodger who tackled him as he was running? Rick Monday.
- 5:41Speaker 1: He was running around the field. The security was Trying
- 5:43Speaker 1: to get there, but Rick Mundy just threw the guy
- 5:45Speaker 1: to the ground. It always happens. Let's go to Rich
- 5:49Speaker 1: Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing?
- 5:51Speaker 2: Hey, thanks, Mark.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Hot down here. 100 degrees already.
- 5:55Speaker 1: What the hell are you leaving New York for going
- 5:58Speaker 1: to Myrtle Beach?
- 6:00Speaker 3: Well, because of the lunatics. The lunatics are running the asylum.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Chuck Schumer, AOC. I mean, you know, Cuomo. I got
- 6:07Speaker 3: out of there in 2014. It was already... If Blakeman
- 6:11Speaker 3: doesn't win this year, and I'm getting off my point,
- 6:13Speaker 3: but if Blakeman doesn't win this year, you will never
- 6:16Speaker 3: see a Republican governor in that state again. It'll be California.
- 6:19Speaker 3: It is lost. But you're speaking about annoying crowds. I
- 6:22Speaker 3: hope everybody's going to tune in for the Emmys tonight.
- 6:26Speaker 3: You talk about an annoying crowd, you got the Emmys
- 6:28Speaker 3: on tonight, you know?
- 6:29Speaker 1: I don't think anybody has seen the Emmy Awards in
- 6:31Speaker 1: 10 years. Nobody even knows it's on. Nobody.
- 6:35Speaker 3: And by the way, Mark, gas has hit $ 4 in
- 6:39Speaker 3: Myrtle Beach, which is killing this tourist town here. It's
- 6:42Speaker 3: got to start going down or we're going to lose
- 6:43Speaker 3: the midterms.
- 6:44Speaker 1: No, it may not affect the midterms. But if that
- 6:48Speaker 1: were the case, you wouldn't see Democrats trying to gin
- 6:51Speaker 1: up the AI issue for the midterms. But yeah, the
- 6:55Speaker 1: Emmy Awards, you see, years ago, we all watched the
- 6:57Speaker 1: same show. So you Look at the Emmy Awards and
- 7:00Speaker 1: nominated are Seinfeld, Cheers, Roseanne. We all knew these shows. Now,
- 7:07Speaker 1: nobody knows what these shows are because everybody watches a
- 7:11Speaker 1: different show. Some people, they all tell you, have you
- 7:14Speaker 1: seen Tuesday Vacation?
- 7:18Speaker 3: No.
- 7:18Speaker 1: What's that? Oh, you know what? You got to watch it.
- 7:21Speaker 1: It's on Paramount or they tell you about another show.
- 7:23Speaker 1: And this is on Netflix. This is on that. nobody's
- 7:26Speaker 1: watching the same show. Well, watch the Emmys tonight. You
- 7:28Speaker 1: won't know 90% of the shows. Let's go to Vince,
- 7:32Speaker 1: Fort Pierce, Florida. Vince, how you doing?
- 7:35Speaker 5: Yeah, good morning, Mark. Last night was the Giants season opener.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Pretty good, wasn't it?
- 7:40Speaker 5: Excellent. But the Giants quarterback, Jackson Dart, was a rookie,
- 7:43Speaker 5: and last spring, he introduced Donald Trump.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:46Speaker 5: And the world had an explosion. His teammate, Abdul Carter,
- 7:51Speaker 5: went public and made some nasty comments, and it's It
- 7:54Speaker 5: caused a lot of controversy, and they were all saying, oh,
- 7:57Speaker 5: this kid's not going to do well. He's hurting his game. Well,
- 8:01Speaker 5: he had an excellent game. He threw three touchdown passes,
- 8:03Speaker 5: ran for 50 yards. On the other hand, Abdul Carter had,
- 8:07Speaker 5: I think, maybe one or two tackles, didn't do anything.
- 8:10Speaker 5: So I'm recommending Abdul Carter go to the next Trump
- 8:13Speaker 5: rally to help improve his game because it worked for
- 8:16Speaker 5: Jackson Dart.
- 8:17Speaker 1: All right, and don't hold your breath on that. But, yeah,
- 8:21Speaker 1: I don't know. Football players, just play football. We don't
- 8:25Speaker 1: need your opinion on anything political. Same thing for Art Garfunkel.
- 8:29Speaker 1: We'll get to him coming up. He's just the silliest
- 8:32Speaker 1: guy in the world. So a lot to get to.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Don't forget the show is three hours every day now,
- 8:37Speaker 1: nine to noon.
