I had trouble in that transition when we moved from the Northeast

to here because of that mindset for many decades that you

cherish the nice days here. Just about every day is nice.

And of course my brain went to football.

I'm like, Oh my, this coming football season will be my first

football season living in Florida.

And it's what do I do when it's 8085° outside?

I can't stay in all day. And I'm like, but I want to

watch football. So it took me, it took me a few

weeks. It didn't take me long to get

over that mindset because I knew the next day and the next day

and the next day was going to be a beautiful day.

So it took a little bit to get over that.

But yes it is as a local it's it's been a little uncomfortable

so I wore a jacket all day yesterday.

I'm hoping tomorrow night in the parks it'll be fine.

Although Saturday the weather worked for us it was shorts and

oh I can put a jacket on. I put my figment sweater on

later in the evening but other than that we all went with

shorts and we were comfortable. So.

So Christmas I, I had, I, I really thought about how I could

get through this, trying to make it feel as much like Christmas

the blinds, the big sliders that are in the living room, you

know, which is where we would open up gifts and everything.

And I put Christmas music on and then this past year what I did

was I think I put like a big snowy window channel on YouTube

on on the big screen and slightly close the blinds.

OK, so just to kind of give yourself that feeling.

And with that said, when we do watch football in our

entertainment room, you know, we have 5 TV's on the wall.

So as TV space becomes available as you get later in in the

football day and you have less games, I will, I've probably

sent you videos of this. I'll put a fireplace on, I'll

put a snowy window or two up in the upper TV's to just kind of

make it feel like, OK, it's November, it's it's December or

January. This is when it would take

typically be snowing while I'm watching games.

So that's, that's what I do with that.

It's bringing a little bit of of winter.

drive in the snow here if they're not from here.

A lot of them forget how to drive in the snow.

So it, it was just crazy. There were like cars all over

the place. It was like a, like a, you know,

a, a disaster movie. And so people were putting the

Photoshopping in the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man into that scene.

So yeah, that's, that's what we deal with here.

So but it's no snow here. It's just going to be really,

really bitterly cold. And I will be in Florida this

weekend and then get to come back home to 5° fun.

That's why I never liked leaving the winter to come to Florida

for a week or 10 days. It makes it that much more

difficult to come back in my opinion.

So let's go local. And so we went to Chili's and we

ate and had a good time and came back home and I, I just had a

chill in me. So put my slippers on, had some

long, long pyjama pants on, kept my jacket on and put a blanket

on my legs and and continue to build Legos.

So, you know, I, I, sometimes we look for, you know, obviously on

them a quintessential Disney resort, where would you have

But we talked about this on the live stream the other day and I

think that to I think what has the edge over any other resort

that no other resort can provide is a view of the Savannah.

So I'd go Kidani Village and and let them enjoy the view.

That is a wow in itself. And it's a beautiful resort as

well. So I would go that because we

did it this past year and our thought was it was a live

streaming day. We checked in early afternoon

and our thoughts were drop our bags, jump out, go out to the

the veranda, whatever. Yeah, take a take a quick look,

look around, take some animal roll call and we're out to the

parks to live stream. One hour later, we're still

watching the animals. It's so peaceful.

It's just just to watch the animals is so peaceful.

And whenever you're back to your room, the first thing you want

to do, even after a long day at the parks, you just want to go

out there and kind of see what's happening out there.

So I think that's that's the best option for a first timer.

There's not much down there. You've got, you've got a few

into some of the they have multiple pools and all that very

you compare it to some of these others, I would put the

contemporary pretty low on a on a list of, you know, 10 places
