  We are back in the studio after our little trip to Legions Con

  over to New Jersey and we had the live show from New Jersey.

  We had that and we had my interviews show the last couple

  of weeks. So they tided us over while we
• 0:39
  recovered and unpacked and got all our stuff together and just
• 0:43
  about got it together to take some pictures of stuff we got
• 0:47
  and go through the pictures that we took while we were there.
• 0:50
  So that's what we're going to do in this episode.

  We're going to go through the little bit, the story of our
• 0:54
  legions gone at least through pictures and what we've, what we
• 1:00
  took at the time and some stories that we remember.

  And then to round us off, we go through our halls, which should

  be quite embarrassing for Rich's wife.

  I was saying John O'Malley, the aim was like maybe 25, possibly

  30 painted heads and I went my sailed past that.

  So yeah, I was quite surprised. Photographs was like Oh my God.

  Quite a number in itself, you know.

  Yeah, but you know. Anyway, how are you doing?

  Have you recovered since? Yeah, I think so.

  My, my body's was a mess for a couple of weeks.

  My left leg, you know, I think I said to you guys, I was getting
• 1:48
  tingling and a bit of numbness and it's still numb 2 weeks

  later. Old man leads.

  Yeah, basically, yes. But yeah, I know.

  Apart from that, I'm yeah, tickety Boo got everything

  unpacked finally last weekend. It always takes me forever to

  get stuff unpacked so. Yeah, it's good to unpack,

  though. You know, I think I unpacked

  more quickly this year than last year.
• 2:13
  I think last year took me ages to get through everything.
• 2:16
  And I remember finding a small, But no, it was Trevor's tin I
• 2:21
  got last year. It opened at some stage during
• 2:24
  the year. I was like, oh, I have all these
• 2:26
  things as well. Bunch of bunch of 3D parts that
• 2:32
  I suppose I just kind of put in there when packing.
• 2:35
  And Mal, how are you here? Back in the swing of day-to-day.

  Yeah, yeah. Back.

  To the real world. It's been a bit, it's been a bit
• 2:43
  quieter at work than it was before finishing.

  The Legions come, which is nice. Seize myself back in my sleep is
• 2:50
  a bit up and down still. You were.

  Struggling. You were telling us, Yeah, yeah.

  Even last weekend you said you, you kind of.
• 2:57
  I woke up at 3:00 in the morning a couple of times.
• 3:00
  Yeah, I lost the day on Saturday by going for a nap.

  And so there's been a couple of days where I've just slept for

  like gone to bed reasonable time, half 10 elevens my usual
• 3:12
  sort of time. Woken up three hours later to,
• 3:15
  well, maybe a little longer than that, depends on what night.
• 3:20
  And then generally just given up and got up at 5:00 in the
• 3:23
  morning. So I did that Friday night into
• 3:25
  Saturday. Yeah, it worked out Saturday
• 3:29
  morning and did a bit of admin that I needed to do.
• 3:32
  Felt a bit drowsy about 9:00. So I was like, I'll have a
• 3:35
  little nap. I woke up at six PM, 9:00 AM to
• 3:40
  6:00 PM Yeah. Basically lost that's.
• 3:43
  A good nap I can pretty. Well, here, there.
• 3:46
  And did you manage to sleep at night then?
• 3:48
  At a bar. Slept for like 3 hours again
• 3:51
  that night but I wasn't tired the next day enough.
• 3:54
  Of course. Properly Sunday night.
• 3:55
  OK, so you got back at 7 hours, so maybe?
• 3:59
  That's. Touch would put me back on to
• 4:03
  you know what I need. Fingers crossed, fingers.
• 4:06
  I had the most horrendous jet lag on the way home.
• 4:09
  I had nothing there. I don't know what I was running
• 4:11
  on. Like I literally arrived in New
• 4:13
  Jersey and I was like, OK, I'm on time now, you know,
• 4:16
  everything was fine. Went to bed at like, you know,
• 4:18
  11-12, whatever time we left the pub.
• 4:22
  And every single day was just like a normal day.
• 4:24
  Didn't feel it at all. And then soon as I got back,
• 4:28
  horrendous. I didn't get to sleep on the way
• 4:31
  home on the plane. I think that's probably what
• 4:34
  killed me. Whereas I did sleep on the plane
• 4:36
  on the way, I never ever sleep on the plane.
• 4:39
  Well, he was rich and alive. A fun trip back, didn't we?
• 4:45
  Flight got delayed. We'll get to there, We'll get to

  there. OK, no spoiler spoiler.

  Should we, should we get straight into it?

  Well, I mean, we've already rattled on for a few minutes,

  but let's get relatively straight into it because we've

  got plenty of stuff to get through here.

  So first up, we're going to go through the story pretty much

  now, Mal, you had a couple of days, eh, Advance of us.

  I think we've kind of covered those a little bit on the live

  show. Maybe we did, but and you were,

  you were pretty much chilled into the stage when I arrived on
• 5:21
  the Wednesday. Yeah, yeah.

  It'd been good. It's good.

  It was got to spend time with Darla and Curtis.

  Yeah. There was a lot for anyone.

  Temp temporary adoption, yeah. Yeah, and also with the Purple

  Gang Gang, a couple of very late nights with Van.

  Yeah, we need to. I mean, Rich is wearing a Purple

  Gang Gang shirt and yeah, and Mal has been basically stolen by
• 5:44
  the Purple Gang gang and I have them do their live show.

  So, I mean, have we just jumped the shark?

  We purple enablers. Purple enablers.

  Yeah, well, anyway. A great bunch of lads as we say,

  and very happy to have them. Wish we could have them more,

  but there is a big body of water in between, which is probably

  why we need to jump the shark. And when I arrived, kind of this

  shaky photo of the back of Brett's car, there was this van

  here with fish, some sort of AI, don't know, not a swordfish, but

  some sort of a fish on it. Rich Any.

  Not a clue from that. It was it was some some sort of

  umm Cryptid type creature that has.

  Yeah, it's to do with some sort of theme park, was it or

  something? Yeah.

  Anyway, this was the van that the horsemen had hired to do to
• 6:47
  going back to because we asked Jeremy when we met him later and
• 6:51
  he was. I don't think so maybe.

  And I think people saw some horsemen folks empty and stuff
• 6:59
  at the back of this. That was funny.

  That was an omen for what's to come, huh?

  Yeah. Yeah.

  One way or the other as. It turned out.

  Yeah, I really enjoyed this momentary with Trevor and Billy

  and yourself now in the pub while waiting for Rich and

  before he came we had a pint. And so you weren't messing

  around because that was quite early, wasn't it?

  Maybe that's why I didn't have jet lagging the way over.

  Maybe this is, you know, no, I didn't continue drinking all

  day, but we had, we had, we were sensible, you know, but it was

  great. Just kind of chilled and relaxed

  and yeah. And then we went for dinner and

  you were already here, Rich. We, we had dinner.

  And this was pretty much the, the kind of British slash
• 7:46
  European crew, at least a lot of it.

  Plus Trevor. Yeah, Quiana, Meg's.

  We had Mark and Sylvia, we had Faisal and Elijah and Baz and

  Gemma. I think Baz mightn't be there.

  He. Was there and he was just popped

  out for a SEC because he was at a table.

  I think he's there. He's I think he's just behind a
• 8:09
  lie. Oh, you think he's hiding?

  He's perhaps not lent in enough for Lent back or whatever, but

  yeah, I'm sure he was there. Gotcha.

  So that was cool. That was just a great way to get

  things going and the show on the road.

  Food was great again in the bar. I think we can.

  It was awesome. Give it a 10 out of 10.

  other day. I think I only had evening meals

  three of the five days. I think 2 days.

  The night the Saturday night my Drake got me a sandwich.

  One of us happened to my wife guys with their show and we went

  for pizza on Sunday night outside of the hotel.

  So yeah. Yeah, yeah, Wednesday and

  Thursday for me were pub meals, so yeah.

  Yeah, and the snack, the snack station in the lobby for the the

  allegiance condes. That's always great.

  So and then we went to intern. Now this is a fun one.

  I don't I might I might overlay, I might overlay the video here

  at some point, but rich when Jeremy and.

  Nah, see, I've completely forgotten about this.

  I blanked it out of my head. They had done a slightly

  different thing this year where they have done badges, which was

  amazing, so you got another badge.

  We're all collectors, so anything like that collectible

  is amazing to add to the collection.

  And this was a badge for intern into specific groups.

  Now there will be people that will be driven crazy by this
• 9:48
  because they'll want all the badges and you can only be in
• 9:50
  one group. So they'll have to bribe people

  to to to get theirs or whatever. There's going to be a big Jeremy

  very, very happily put us in the House of the Noble bear.

  So all three of us, me and Mal were fine with that.

  Rich was. He he could not have been any

  happier. When you realised it was a

  stunning, he couldn't have been any happier.

  He turned into like a Bond villain.

  There was, there was like, you know, all sorts of stuff going

  on. He had a spreadsheet and he had

  you down. He had us down like on a

  spreadsheet for the house, the noble bird.

  This wasn't any sort of. This was pre planned.

  No, Yeah. Yeah, this wasn't just oh,

  you're next. It was absolutely.

  Yeah, he was thrilled. With that, that was a great

  start. I mean, yeah, definitely gave me

  a good chuckle. It ruined my day but part not

  only season. And it and it worked out quite

  well again, because yet again, it was kind of the European
• 10:45
  contingent. Hmm.

  Plus David Williams, because really, Thomas Ballet is also

  European. Yeah, so there was a big,

  there's a big circle there first for, you know, just giving us a
• 10:59
  kind of general introduction, Jeremy, Eh, Corn boy.

  Corn Boy was very prominent at the intern which was great to
• 11:05
  see. Yeah.

  He seems to be back up to 100% which is amazing.

  And eh, that was the Euro crew, eh, Well, that was our intern
• 11:16
  group, so. We had yes.

  And of course. David, as you said and top and
• 11:20
  EH as well, Brian and Stacy as well from Carver Customs.

  So which? Is not so much I'm stumbling out
• 11:26
  in all these pictures because I was wearing a shirt that day.

  Everybody else is in the C shirt.

  But there was it was a couple of other cool people as well.

  And our group, we had a really cool group at intern.

  There was a was a Josh as well. Yes, yeah, youngish guy with
• 11:40
  long hair and he's super cool and he's dead.

  And and they came to our show as well.

  So you know, we have to definitely butter them up and
• 11:50
  and we got what was our first thing the same the same as last
• 11:55
  year, or at least in in my group, like we we were of Rich

  was in a different group last year.

  No, we were all. There it was, me last.

  Just me. I was in.

  You were in the last year. You were sorry, Yeah.

  You and I are in the group job. Yeah, yeah, We were inseparable,

  I did, yeah. So umm, yeah, we got selected.

  Our first part of intern was the armoury.

  So we were the first group to go through the armoury.

  So as it turned out, the armoury was very popular.

  Allegiance can and sold out pretty quickly on the Saturday
• 12:29
  and not sold out it a lot. A lot of sold out and they're
• 12:35
  very helpfully labelled what was exclusive.

  So I think that definitely for the collector's mindset got
• 12:44
  people kind of to collect that kind of, you know, go for the
• 12:50
  even if it didn't fit your bills.

  Some people, we might see that in one of my armour figures
• 12:55
  later, although my excuses like that's like I went that that was
• 13:01
  one from the Saturday evening when I went and there wasn't
• 13:04
  much left. So and.

  Looking at that picture back that we all had our name tags on

  as well and was it huge on the road?

  Mine with barbarian fan on it. I did, yeah.

  So. Between that and the House of

  really nice as well I think. Ended up having a couple of them

  intern at their current location 'cause they are moving and

  pretty much at the moment, I mean I think the stock from

  Legions con that's leftover is going back into their new

  building. Yeah, they said it was just

  taking a straight to new place. So that's kind of the process

  they're in at the moment. So that'll be cool.

  It's supposed to be bigger, especially the warehouse.

  And so interns next year, that'll be a fun one to be the

  first. So are we going for it again

  of a standalone thing, little creature, which is pretty cool

  as well. It means a fun stuff like this

  For the second year in a row, we walked into one of Eric's

  sculpting sessions and saw something very similar to what
• 18:13
  they're going to reveal the following.

  And yeah, this is all done in an hour by the way, if you if
• 18:23
  you're wondering, which is pretty impressive.

  While he talks to everybody and takes requests on that.

  Oh yeah. Yeah, phenomenal.

  It's some people have video of recorded.

  There was definitely someone recorded our session.

  I don't know if they published it, but I have seen like I think

  Purple gang gang put one their one up on YouTube so you can see

  the kind of casual chat that's going on and you know it isn't
• 18:49
  sitting there watching the guy sculpting and and going to be in
• 18:52
  silence. It is a conversation as this is
• 18:55
  happening. It's amazing.

  But the way with the way he and I mean, it was with her hazard,

  I think it might be new John or somebody who or sat next to her.
• 19:04
  So just looked at each other and shook our heads at how quickly,
• 19:09
  you know, he just, he got this ball of clay and just pulls a
• 19:14
  bit here and pulls a bit there and pulls a bit and a bit.

  And then very quickly, within minutes, you get in the shape
• 19:22
  and you just go in the. How's it already looking like
• 19:25
  what you've asked him to do? Yeah.

  Bonkers, absolutely bonkers. And and then our session was the
• 19:32
  robot shark. So or kind of it was a shark and
• 19:36
  then somebody else like cyber bits on the front.

  Yeah, so again and. And I want to point out I didn't
• 19:46
  ask for the shark. Thing no.

  Rich is by being in the room, Nothing to do with me.

  Yeah. Yeah, he didn't open his mouth

  in terms of the requests. So and maybe people were just
• 19:56
  getting there by osmosis or something off.

  You're rich, you know. Oh, I've just banged on so much.

  Most people in the room were listeners, I think, so they just

  like, it was the last means. I was like, yeah, go on.

  of the day, so they probably had a conversation, which in the

  Come on, come. On we went to Trevor and some do

  the photo setup. That's always really cool to

  see. And I think part of the appeal

  of this firstly is that we all, uh, you know, really like the

  photos when they come out with the reveals and you know, and of
• 21:10
  course, when Trevor does his own photography and, and it's
• 21:13
  amazing and we all like toe VW. It's also something that nearly
• 21:17
  everyone can dabble into to various different levels.
• 21:21
  You know, even just, you know, you or me taking our nice
• 21:25
  figures or customs in front of their little, our little dials
• 21:28
  Rich, you know, you could learn a little bit from Trevor to make
• 21:33
  it just look a little bit better.
• 21:36
  And then the real pro toy photographers could go to travel
• 21:39
  session and still pick up stuff. So it's, umm, it's really cool.

  And we got to see that cool smoke machine again that he's
• 21:46
  got. Yeah, yeah.

  Which is also. I was, I wasn't letting that go.
