- 0:00Hello friends! Welcome back to Wonderfully Made,
- 0:04Bible Stories for Children. I'm so excited you're
- 0:09here with me again. Last time, Jacob returned
- 0:13home, reunited with Esau, and experienced the
- 0:17power of forgiveness. Now, the story shifts to
- 0:21one of Jacob's sons, Joseph. God had a special
- 0:26plan for him. but his journey wouldn't be easy.
- 0:30Today, we will hear about Joseph's dreams and
- 0:34how they set the stage for an incredible adventure.
- 0:37Are you ready? Let's begin! Jacob had many sons,
- 0:54but he loved Joseph more than the others. To
- 0:58show his special love, he gave Joseph a beautiful
- 1:01robe, richly decorated with many colors. When
- 1:06his brothers saw this, they became jealous. They
- 1:10noticed that their father treated Joseph differently
- 1:14and they didn't like Joseph because of it. As
- 1:17time passed, Joseph had dreams that made his
- 1:21brothers even angrier. In one dream, he saw himself
- 1:26and his brothers in a field, tying up bundles
- 1:29of grain. Suddenly, his bundle stood tall while
- 1:34his brothers' bundles gathered around and bowed
- 1:37down to it. When Joseph shared the dream with
- 1:41his brothers, they were upset. They questioned
- 1:44whether he truly believed he would rule over
- 1:47them one day. Their jealousy and anger grew even
- 1:51stronger. Not long after, Joseph had another
- 1:56dream. This time, he saw the sun, the moon, and
- 2:01eleven stars bowing down to him. When he told
- 2:05his father and brothers about this dream, even
- 2:08Jacob was surprised. He rebuked Joseph and asked
- 2:13him if the dream meant that he, along with Joseph's
- 2:17mother and brothers, would one day bow before
- 2:20him. Though Jacob was puzzled, he kept Joseph's
- 2:25dreams in mind, while Joseph's brothers remained
- 2:28jealous. Joseph didn't understand why his dreams
- 2:33upset his brothers so much. He didn't mean to
- 2:37make them angry, he only wanted to share what
- 2:40he had seen. But the more he talked about them,
- 2:44the more his brothers' anger grew. One day, Joseph's
- 2:50brothers took their father's flock far from home
- 2:53to find good pasture. Jacob sent Joseph to check
- 2:57on them and bring back news. Joseph set out on
- 3:01the journey, unaware that his brother's jealousy
- 3:04had turned into something even worse. As Joseph
- 3:08walked toward them, his brothers saw him from
- 3:11a distance. They began to plot among themselves
- 3:15to get rid of him once and for all. What would
- 3:19they do? What would happen to Joseph? Let's take
- 3:28a moment to reflect. Why do you think Joseph's
- 3:32dreams made his brothers so upset? Have you ever
- 3:37felt jealous when someone else was given something
- 3:41special? How did you handle it? What does this
- 3:48story teach us about God's plans? Sometimes God
- 3:54gives people dreams or plans for their future,
- 3:57but not everyone will understand them right away.
- 4:01Joseph's family didn't know what his dreams meant,
- 4:05but God had a special plan for Joseph's life.
- 4:09Even when others doubted him, God was preparing
- 4:13something amazing. Thank you for joining me today.
- 4:19Next time, we'll see what happens when Joseph
- 4:23reaches his brothers. Will their jealousy push
- 4:26them to do something terrible? And how will God
- 4:30use this moment for his greater plan? Don't miss
- 4:33it. Until then, remember, you are wonderfully
- 4:38made, and God's love is always with you. Bye
- 4:43for now.
