Micky McDonald – from Castlecomer is running the Dublin marathon next Sunday to raise funds for Spina Bifida Ireland. His youngest son Luka aged 4 was born with the condition. The staff at Temple Street Hospital and St Lukes have been great. He considers his family one of the lucky ones in terms of getting the care hi son needs. This is his first marathon. He is the manager of the soccer team in Castlecomer. He works in the area of disability with adults who have an intellectual disability. His son had 7 operations in the first 6 months of his life
