- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_02]: Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_02]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: Canada's reckless prime minister thought he could outtuff Donald Trump.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_02]: He thought he could stare down number 47 and get him to blink.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_02]: He wasn't just wrong.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_02]: He was colossally wrong.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_02]: Right now, there's data on a spreadsheet in Ottawa that no one in Carney's government wants Canadians to see because once they see it, they realized this entire trade war was over before it even started.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: Stick them in the very end of this video because you're gonna understand exactly why Canada picked a fight It was mathematically incapable of winning and why the president just found the perfect way to rub it in their face
- 1:03[SPEAKER_02]: Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, your major professor, celebrating yet another glorious day in the Trumpian golden age that you made possible back in November of 2024.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_02]: So if you want a front row seat on how you continue to change, not just this country, but indeed the entire world, more than you ever imagine, make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_02]: Things that are going from bad to worse from Mark Carney, Canada's ultra-woken
- 1:28[SPEAKER_02]: Prime Minister, trade talks between the United States and Canada collapsed at the end of last week, and by the weekend, Trump's 50% tariffs on roughly $20 billion a Canadian goods went into full effect.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_02]: Bottom line, Trump is hitting Canada with tariffs because as far as Trump is concerned, and I think rightly so.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: Canada has unfairly exploited its trade relationship with the United States for decades.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_02]: They've run massive surplus while relying on America for roughly three quarters of their export 70-75 percent.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: All the while, they've been drifting toward closer ties with China, which Trump sees as a national security threat for the United States.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_02]: And so Trump is using
- 2:14[SPEAKER_02]: to force Ottawa in a more favorable trade terms and board of security cooperation.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: Carney isn't compliant.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_02]: Crazy Carney is actually doubling down and he's just announced that Canada is going to be punching back.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to be matching US duties dollar for dollar imposing roughly 50% counter tariffs on about 20 billion dollars worth of American goods.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_02]: Now, what Carney thinks he's going to get out of this trade war is anyone's guess.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_02]: He's certainly talking tough, Doug Ford, Ontario's premier, he's talking tough, they're all promising to hit the United States back and hit him hard.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_02]: But again, the Achilles heel of wokeness is simply reality, right?
- 3:06[SPEAKER_02]: That's the fundamental weakness of liberal wokeness.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_02]: Reality.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: You can work yourself up into politically correct frenzy's all you want.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: Reality doesn't change, does Ben Shapiro would say, Reality don't care about your feelings.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_02]: Eventually, someone does the mouth math out loud.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: And they're the ones left standing there looking absolutely foolish.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_02]: It's not hard.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: 70 to 75% of Canada's exports are sold to Americans are sold to the United States 70 to 75% you want to take a guess on how much of U.S. exports are sold to Canada
- 3:49[SPEAKER_02]: 14.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_02]: Roughly 14% of our exports go to Canada 75 versus 14.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_02]: That's not a fight.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_02]: That's not even a mismatch.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: That's a man arm wrestling a bulldozer and calling it a rivalry.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_02]: Canada is betting its entire economic future in a customer who could walk away and barely notice.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_02]: While America is dealing with a supplier who can't survive the breakup,
- 4:17[SPEAKER_02]: 75 vs. 14.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's called leverage, leverage is having what the other side wants.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_02]: And Canada would economically implode if 75% of its export customers walked away.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: Whereas the United States wouldn't even notice.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_02]: You see it even clearer when it comes to GDP.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_02]: Nearly one fifth of Canada's entire GDP 20% is directly tied to selling stuff to Americans.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_02]: You want to take a guess on what percentage of our GDP is relying on Canadians buying our stuff?
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: 1.5 and ain't even 2%.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: Again, numbers don't lie.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_02]: whereas Canada could disappear off the map and America wouldn't even notice.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_02]: That's not a fair fight.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: That's not even a fight.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_02]: That's a lopsided argument that Canada has been comfortable exploiting for decades and now the bill has come to.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_02]: And it actually gets worse.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's not just a matter of Canada being so disproportionately reliant on the United States economy.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's that Canada's economy itself is frankly puny, even CNBC admitted it just today.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: In the economic approach.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: of Canada.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: I know you're familiar with GDP personal GDP actually falling most years in Canada.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: The OECD projects at Canada out of 38 OECD members.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: Well rank 38 dead last in GDP per capita growth through 2016 and I'm trying to figure out why I looked at to see and I do find one thing that says here tax and regulatory competitiveness there's a gap even with the US where we think regulate you know permitting and we've got all these problems down here how bad is it?
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: in Canada.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: And what changes do you think need to be made at this point?
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think you're really negotiating from a strong position based on these things.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I won't bore you with the answer because it's basically a non-answer.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_02]: There is no answer to that.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: The U.S. economy is roughly 10 to 12 times the size of Canada.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_02]: If Canada were a next, if it were somehow made the 51st state tomorrow, its GDP on a per capita basis would rank 50th of 51st states, it would be ahead of only Mississippi.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_02]: Texas alone with a labor force nearly a third smaller than Canada's produces roughly the same economic output as the entire country of Canada.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_02]: One American state, one doing what an entire sovereign nation does with fewer workers, a third less.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: That's the humiliation, carney voters refuse to sit with.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_02]: They keep talking about Canadian sovereignty like it's a Trump card when in reality sovereignty doesn't make too widely mismatched economies equal.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_02]: But it's what President Trump did next.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_02]: That's perhaps, I gotta say, the single most humiliating move of them all, wait until you see this.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_02]: But first gang, what's even more important than the economy is your health.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_02]: Did you know that your bone marrow stopped producing stem cells after 40.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_02]: Production drops 75% by age 50.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: signals it to start all over again, even Joe Rogan talks about stem cells.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: I had a full-length rotator cuff kit and UFC gave me a doctor in Los Angeles and he looks at my MRI and goes, you're going to need surgery.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to go 100% and he goes, I don't know how you're using it now.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's a matter of time.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to need surgery so might be better to do it now.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: So I got it shot up with stem cells.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: And this was the early days of stem cells in America where you could get away with my
- 8:27[SPEAKER_02]: And you got to go to Mexico now again.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_02]: But what's so cool is this, this activates those same stem cells.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_02]: No travel, no needles, no $50,000 top, even Harvard ran a massive study on this called the Cosmos study with over 21,000 participants.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_02]: Don't take it from me, look into the research yourself.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_02]: Harvard scientists, Dr. William Lee, he's spoken a lot about this.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_02]: Take in daily, this cocoa can reduce heart attacks by 27% from flavinals and the best part Black Forest brought back their end of July deal just for my audience.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_02]: So for 48 hours only, you can get
- 9:07[SPEAKER_02]: Buy to get one free store-wide including this cocoa plus a free bottle of the cocoa Flavonels.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's half your order for free.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's only through my link below, not on their site and it's gone once the 48 hours are up.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_02]: So make sure to click on that link below right now.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: On Tuesday, President Trump posted on true social that the United States is, quote, giving serious consideration to changing the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America, because in his words, quote, we don't expect to be doing much business with Ontario any longer, even posted a map.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_02]: with Lake Ontario crossed out and like America written in gold lettering American flag included.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: Now obviously the point there is that the president of the United States is mocking an entire Canadian province by name on the world stage and there's absolutely nothing mark carny or Doug Ford or any other woe Canadian official can do about it except wine and complaint because that's all they got because they got no leverage.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_02]: They got no cards, this trump would say.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_02]: That, my friends, is what happens when you provoke a superpower, 12 times your economic size, and you don't have the cards to back up the bluff.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_02]: Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy was just saying this.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, think about the disparity between the two countries, right?
- 10:35[SPEAKER_02]: He noted Canada gets the benefit of trading with the United States way more than the United States gets the benefit of trading with Canada.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's a country that basically doesn't
- 10:45[SPEAKER_02]: it relies on our defense.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's a country that has a single payer health care system that's failing.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_02]: And so to think that they're going to launch a trade war with Donald Trump and actually win that war with the United States, it's beyond cut.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, to call it foolish is generous.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's actually delusional.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_02]: and Carney's own base is starting to notice even as their premieres keep performing outrage for the cameras.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the thing about fighting dollar for dollar that Carney supporters conveniently ignore.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_02]: Matching the tariff percentage does not mean you're matching the economic pain, okay?
- 11:26[SPEAKER_02]: Again, this isn't hard.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: Canada retaliating with terrorists on American steel and dairy in electronics doesn't cost you not in states anywhere near what American terrorists cost Canada because the exposure isn't symmetrical.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_02]: Again, it's like two boxers agreeing to trade punches of equal force, right?
- 11:47[SPEAKER_02]: Except one guy weighs 340 pounds, and the other weighs 40.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_02]: What is Karni doing?
- 12:00[SPEAKER_02]: What's Karni doing in the midst of that?
- 12:03[SPEAKER_02]: While he's talking tough with Trump, he's increasingly selling out his nation to Beijing.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_02]: Karni visited China back in January, and afterward, the two countries issued a joint statement committing to a, quote, new strategic partnership.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: including deeper trade ties.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_02]: Canada's own foreign minister met repeatedly with China's Wang Yi and publicly called the China relationship when of Canada's most valued bilateral relationships.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_02]: Meanwhile, bilateral trade between Canada and China has grown 16 percent the first half of this year with Canadian exports to China up over 23 percent.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: But unfortunately for Canada, that's nowhere near enough to compensate for the U.S. market, not even close.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_02]: So in the meantime, ordinary Canadians are the ones left holding the back.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: Trump's tariffs are already squeezing Canadian exporters and steel, aluminum, autos, and lumber, forward and carnies response is to promise government bailout programs.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_02]: Funded by a, you guessed it, more taxes on the very Canadians already getting hammered by the trade war, their own government provoked.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: You don't replace a lost market with a government subsidy.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_02]: Businesses don't want compensation for losing customers.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_02]: They want the customers back.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: And the customers overwhelmingly are American.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_02]: So bottom line, here's the truth, Mark Carney's voters can't really cope with at this point.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_02]: They were sold a fantasy of Canadian defiance, a globalist technocrat who was supposed to out-negotiate Donald Trump.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_02]: Instead, they got a prime minister who picked a trade war he simply can't win.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_02]: Florida with America's chief geopolitical rival and is now watching one of his own provinces threatened to succeed, hello Alberta.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_02]: Meanwhile, Trump is out there, casually threatening to rename what are the great legs just to remind everyone north of the border exactly who has all the leverage in this relationship.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: That's not a president panicking, that's a president having fun.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_02]: Precisely because he knows how this ends.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_02]: Canada's not going to win a trade war against an economy 12 times size.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: That buys three quarters of everything itself, and that Canada can't function without.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_02]: The Souter-Carny voters accept that basic arithmetic, the sooner their groceries, their gas, and their jobs, might actually start getting cheaper again.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_02]: Until then,
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: Enjoy the view of Lake America.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_02]: You ask for a leader who's stand up to Trump.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: Instead, you got a failed liberal globalist who's making your entire country pay the price.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_02]: Look, I know the world can feel like it's moving faster than any of us can keep up with, but you don't have to figure it out alone.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_02]: Starting September 8th, the Civ calls a masterclass as where we slow down, connect the dots, and build a framework for what's happening and what comes next.
