- 0:34Speaker 1: We are Abundant and Aligned.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Hello everyone and welcome back to the Abundant and Aligned podcast.
- 0:46Speaker 2: How is your week going?
- 0:48Speaker 2: It's been a big week for me.
- 0:50Speaker 2: We had my mom and sister here for about a week.
- 0:55Speaker 2: They came up for my bridesmaid proposal lunch, which I shared on Instagram, was such a beautiful day.
- 1:03Speaker 2: All of my bridesmaids knew that were going to be my bridesmaids but in classic me style, I had to make it super extra when I officially asked them to be my bridesmaids.
- 1:14Speaker 2: So I took them all out to lunch to Tropic in Burley and I had some really nice bridesmaid proposal boxes put together for them which had their robe that they'll wear the morning of the wedding, a cute little card saying will you be my bridesmaid proposal.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Boxes put together for them which had their robe that they'll wear the morning of the wedding.
- 1:26Speaker 2: A cute little card saying will you be my bridesmaid, will you be my maid of honor.
- 1:31Speaker 2: And then I gave mom saying will you walk me down the aisle?
- 1:34Speaker 2: So cute.
- 1:35Speaker 2: So I took them to Tropic on Saturday and, yeah, we had a really fun day out.
- 1:39Speaker 2: So mom and Laura, mom and my sister were just up here for that.
- 1:43Speaker 2: So we've had visitors here for a week.
- 1:45Speaker 2: It's been a busy week in the business as well.
- 1:47Speaker 2: I do have some announcements to do with the business, but releasing projects that we've been working on, filling spots for her empire.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been busy.
- 1:58Speaker 2: This year has been insane.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I keep saying it, but I just can.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I have not caught a breath since I came back to work after Christmas and now it's almost May, my 30th is coming up in a couple of weeks and I'm like how the fuck is it in a couple of weeks?
- 2:13Speaker 2: And it's just like it's been an insane couple of months.
- 2:15Speaker 2: So, anyways, that's what my week's been like, but I hope yours has been good.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I hope, even if you're feeling busy, it's because you're intentionally choosing that and not just being stretched in places that you don't necessarily want to be stretched to.
- 2:29Speaker 2: So, anyways, that's my week, but let's dive into today's episode.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Before I do, just some quick announcements, like I said, and some housekeeping for you.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Number one, first announcement I'm very excited to officially share this on my podcast.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Very excited to officially share this on my podcast.
- 2:47Speaker 2: We have been doing a little bit over on Instagram, but the Sip With Us segment that you guys used to listen to on this show with Izzy was a crowd favorite and we always had so much fun recording those episodes for you guys.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Just the style of episode really conversational, really casual, lots of laughs, whatever.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Anyways, we a few months ago came up with the idea that we would turn the Sip With Us segment into its own podcast show and we've been very busy behind the scenes getting that ready for you guys and I'm so excited to officially announce that the Sip With Us podcast is now streaming on all podcast platforms.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I guess a bit of an understanding about what the difference is between this podcast and Sip With Us is Abundant, and Align is a place to come and learn about manifestation, mindset, your subconscious mind, how to grow your business using mindset and energetics and strategy and all of the topics that we've been talking about on the show since its launch a few years ago.
- 3:50Speaker 2: So that's what you'll continue to expect from me Weekly episodes still on a Monday.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Nothing will change over here.
- 3:57Speaker 2: The Sip With Us podcast is more conversational, more casual.
- 4:02Speaker 2: We have an advice column you can send us a question, and it doesn't necessarily need to be around mindset and business, it can be anything, and I guess the vibe of that show is two best friends just chatting about what women go through on a daily basis travel, relationships, business, career life, things and everything in between.
- 4:25Speaker 2: So the vibe we want to go for is is as if you're coming to my house or going to a bar and just sitting across and having a wine with us and just chatting about stuff that, as women, go through every single day.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Um, so, yeah, really excited to announce that I will link that in in the show notes below so you guys can go and check it out.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Definitely, tune in, because there will be no overlaps and if you are a regular listener of Abundant and Aligned, continue to show up here every single week to learn and grow with me and then go and tune in to sit with us for a laugh and a lot of relatability and vulnerability around what goes into being a woman.
- 5:05Speaker 2: So that's the first thing.
- 5:06Speaker 2: The second thing is I only have a few more spots for her empire.
- 5:15Speaker 2: If you are a woman in business and you want to work one-on-one with me for six months in 2024, then go and get your application in or send me a DM on Instagram If you have any questions, if you want to nut it out, if you want to chat to me about her empire and what's involved and if it's a good fit for you and your business, never hesitate to send me a message.
- 5:36Speaker 2: But there are only a few spots left and this is the final time I'm opening up my business, mastermind.
- 5:42Speaker 2: This is the only way that you can work one-on-one with me as well.
- 5:45Speaker 2: This morning we had a guest session with Izzy from Sip, with Us all about social media growth.
- 5:51Speaker 2: So she grew both social media accounts to over 300,000 followers and she shared with the women on our call this morning about how she did that organically, tips that she has to grow to such a large following, but, most importantly, how to convert those followers into paying clients, how to nurture a community and, yeah, ultimately, how to leverage social media as a way to sell your products.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Sell your products, sell your services, promote your business.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Um get using both Instagram and TikTok.
- 6:21Speaker 2: So that's just an idea of the incredible resources and the knowledge you get access to by being inside her empire.
- 6:30Speaker 2: So not only can you pick my brain and really tap into the mindset and the subconscious programming that is likely keeping you stuck in business, but you also get access to a panel of women who can help with more of the strategic side of business.
- 6:44Speaker 2: So only a few spots left.
- 6:47Speaker 2: They will be filled in the next couple of weeks, if not this week, and we are starting on the 3rd of June and it's you and I spending the next six months together, growing your business, hitting those large income months, expanding your audience, getting clients to come to you, really living in a place of attraction and flow and ease, which I'm a big advocate when it comes to business.
- 7:08Speaker 2: And I just want you to know it's so possible for you.
- 7:10Speaker 2: It doesn't have to feel so hard and heavy anymore.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I know that feeling, I know it can.
- 7:15Speaker 2: It's a lot, and I'm here to help you find business fun again or, maybe for the first time, for it to feel easy, for you to feel like you actually have control of your results, not just winging it and setting these goals and just hoping for the best, actually having a sense of knowing that you set these goals in your business and you achieve them.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Month after month you grow and expand and the momentum just remains.
- 7:38Speaker 2: So that's her empire, linked in the show notes.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Below is the application, but, as I said, if you want to talk to me about any of it, dms are open.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Otherwise, just email me at hello at jessmartincomau.
- 7:50Speaker 2: The next thing I wanted to remind you guys about before we move on just really quickly the Academy is opening again in July, but the six-month payment plan option is now available.
- 8:01Speaker 2: So if you have intentions of enrolling in the next round of the academy and you want to enroll with the six month payment plan, then that is available now.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I've linked that in the show notes below.
- 8:12Speaker 2: You only have until the 31st of May to enroll on the six month plan.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Otherwise the payment options once it opens in July will be the painful option and a three-month payment plan.
- 8:26Speaker 2: So if you are someone that wants to stretch your fees out for a longer period and obviously bring down your monthly fees, then the six-month option is the way to go.
- 8:33Speaker 2: But just make sure you're in before the 31st of May.
- 8:36Speaker 2: For those who are not familiar with the Academy, it is my life transformation program.
- 8:41Speaker 2: So you don't need to have a business to enroll.
- 8:43Speaker 2: It's for the woman who's ready to expand her entire life and that can obviously trickle into business.
- 8:48Speaker 2: It can trickle into relationships, your career, who you are as a woman.
- 8:52Speaker 2: But it's an entire up level, a transformation.
- 8:56Speaker 2: So lots of mindset work, lots of subconscious reprogramming, really learning how to be a powerful manifest star setting boundaries, being a better wife, partner, mom, showing up in your business, showing up in your career from a place of receiving.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Yeah, we talk about your menstrual cycle, like it covers everything that you need to know to transform your entire life.
- 9:16Speaker 2: So that is yet linked in the show notes below.
- 9:20Speaker 2: If you want the six month plan, you only have until the 31st of may, and then what's my final thing?
- 9:26Speaker 2: I wanted to talk about that, was it?
- 9:27Speaker 2: This just came to mind, though, don't forget as well, the morning routine bundle is now available.
- 9:32Speaker 2: If you are someone who needs some assistance with a manifestation morning, if you know that yours could be better, if you really want to know what I'm doing behind the scenes in my morning I've actually bundled this all up for you.
- 9:44Speaker 2: You really want to know what I'm doing behind the scenes in my morning?
- 9:46Speaker 2: I've actually bundled this all up for you.
- 9:46Speaker 2: You get access to a manifestation masterclass how to journal to manifest, meditate to manifest and a manifestation basics masterclass, along with a bunch of different resources.
- 9:56Speaker 2: So you get a whole meditation library.
- 9:59Speaker 2: You get lots of journal prompts.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it's essentially this beautiful package that will help you create your manifestation morning.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Um, there's also some stuff that you can do in an evening as well, like, you get access to the sleep meditation.
- 10:13Speaker 2: So, yeah, it's essentially designed to upgrade your frequency, make you a magnet to the results and the changes that you want to see in your life.
- 10:22Speaker 2: So, yeah, I thought I would just remind you of that because I definitely have not really been speaking about that enough.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Okay, that is it for housekeeping and announcements.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Let's move through to our episode.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Here today, we are chatting about taking your business to six figures in revenue, and I'm sharing four things that I would do if I was building my business to six figures.
- 10:48Speaker 2: For context, I have had two businesses.
- 10:53Speaker 2: The first one really never got off the ground.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I grew it for about three years.
- 10:58Speaker 2: For those who don't know, it was in network marketing.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I was partnered up with a company called Arbonne and I worked so hard to grow that business for three years while I was still working full-time as a lawyer.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I was trying everything.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I was putting in the hours.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I was trying so many different sales strategies, different ways to show up on social media.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Essentially, if someone told me to do something to grow that business, I did it and it never really got off the ground.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I then put a pause on that business because I was like I know the reason it's not growing isn't because I need to try harder.
- 11:35Speaker 2: There's obviously something going on here that I'm not aware of.
- 11:38Speaker 2: So I kind of took a step back from that business, which at that time was supposed to be temporary, and I worked with my very first mentor.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I paid her $6,000 that I didn't really have at the time, but I was just determined to find a way to remove this block that I knew I had inside me Because, as I said, it wasn't that I needed to work harder.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I was maxed out there.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I was doing everything that they say would create a successful business, but I wasn't seeing the success that I thought I should have.
- 12:09Speaker 2: So I worked with this mentor and it changed the game for me.
- 12:12Speaker 2: It really enabled me to understand that we have a subconscious program I did not know about that and that we are essentially running off this subconscious program.
- 12:22Speaker 2: And if you have beliefs within you, within the subconscious mind, that success takes many years, you're not worthy of that.
- 12:32Speaker 2: You have resistance to receiving money for something that you do.
- 12:35Speaker 2: You have a lot of blocks around money.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Ultimately.
- 12:38Speaker 2: That's what's going to show up in your business and your life, not so much about what you're actually doing.
- 12:43Speaker 2: So then I delve so deep into principles that Dr Joe Dispenza shares and teaches on Dr Bruce Lipton.
- 12:51Speaker 2: These became people who I lived and breathed and I became obsessed with understanding the subconscious mind, how much of an influence our thoughts and feelings have on our results, and it led me to starting this podcast and then, ultimately, the programs and all of the teachings that I now provide to you guys.
- 13:14Speaker 2: When I started this business, it grew to six figures within the year.
- 13:17Speaker 2: So very, very different success compared to my first business, and there were a lot that.
- 13:24Speaker 2: There was a lot that I did different the second time around, which I know contributed to my success.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Um, but yeah, I wanted to share four things that I did that I know will be able in creating the success that I did in this business and, yeah, to ultimately like pinpoint to you some focus areas If you do have the goal to grow to six figures, or maybe you've hit six figures before and you've lost it, or maybe you fluctuate a lot.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I've come up with five things that I know really helped me get to the six figure mark, and I would really recommend that you consider and incorporate in one way or another the stuff that I learned.
- 14:05Speaker 2: You can take with you when you want to move to multiple six figures, seven figures, like.
- 14:10Speaker 2: It's all very applicable, but yeah, I thought we'll just talk to those who are ready to be able to their first six figures in business.
- 14:17Speaker 2: So there are four pointers that I want to share, and they are a blend of mindset and strategy.
- 14:25Speaker 2: So our first one is really taking a look at the beliefs you have under the surface when it comes to business, and this is where it's really important to be aware of what you got told and, in particular, what you experienced or observed when it came to building success and, because we're talking about building two six figures in business, really considering whether business success was even shown to you.
- 14:56Speaker 2: So maybe you grew up in a household where both your parents went to a job as an employee, so you didn't even see business, let alone successful business.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Or maybe you were like me and you did have a parent or parents who had a business, but the way they spoke about business and what's required to build a successful business was very much around.
- 15:20Speaker 2: It takes a long time and you have to work really, really hard and you get a sense of your whole life will be spent building this business and even levels of success.
- 15:32Speaker 2: The levels of success that you might get to are still just getting you by and still living from a place of survival.
- 15:39Speaker 2: So our first one to really consider is what are your beliefs when it comes to building success or building a business, and would those beliefs give you the results that you want to see?
- 15:50Speaker 2: So let's say that you want to get to six figures within the next year.
- 15:53Speaker 2: You've been in business for two years.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Do you have a belief that that income goal is possible within that amount of time?
- 16:01Speaker 2: And this is where I want you to go deep.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Don't just look surface level like.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Really consider what's under the surface for you.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Do you have a belief that success takes a long time, that you have to work really hard to see growth?
- 16:13Speaker 2: And, yeah, essentially you have to do a lot and wait a long time before you see the success that you want.
- 16:19Speaker 2: If that's the case, the very first thing you need to do before you change anything in your business, before you implement another strategy, before you start a different social media platform before you learn a different way to market yourself.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Like before any of that, you need to remove the belief that success takes a long time, because when you have a belief that success takes a long time, success will take a long time.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Whatever's impressed on your subconscious mind, it will see to it.
- 16:48Speaker 2: So if you have a subconscious identity and belief that it will take many years to get to the level that you want to get to in business, but consciously you're like I'm going to do it in a shorter amount of time and you have sticky notes everywhere with your income goal and you're telling everyone that you'll get there within an X amount of time, your conscious intention is not creating results.
- 17:11Speaker 2: It's the subconscious beliefs that you have under the surface.
- 17:14Speaker 2: So, yeah, you could consciously say all you want that you're going to get to six figures in the next year.
- 17:19Speaker 2: But if you have a subconscious belief and if your dominant thoughts and feelings when it comes to building success is that it does take a long time and you have to work really, really hard and you have to sacrifice and you have to be at it and at it and at it, that's the story that will play out for you.
- 17:37Speaker 2: So, number one removing the belief that it takes a long time to build success and really going even further than that removing the belief that success is dependent on hard work, because when we think about hard work, we think about trading our time for money, physically doing something.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Obviously, when you are allowing your success to be dependent on how much you're physically doing, there's only so many hours in your day, and then if you factor in that you maybe still go to a job or you are a mom, or that you have other commitments in your life which you would, there's even less amount of time to work on your business.
- 18:22Speaker 2: So what you're doing is you're capping your success and you're capping your income by having it tied to the amount of hours that you're putting into your business, when we think about the things that we were told growing up.
- 18:37Speaker 2: So, just for context, if you're new around here, I am 30 next month, so my dad's generation was very much well, as far as I was aware, growing up.
- 18:48Speaker 2: This is my experience.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Um, yeah, you make money when you physically work, and the online space wasn't a thing.
- 18:56Speaker 2: When my dad was growing his business and you know, anyone was growing a business Like there was no such thing as making an income online.
- 19:05Speaker 2: So it was a different story for them in order to make money, unless they were investing in stocks or they had investment properties, whatever but most of the time, they made money by physically trading their time.
- 19:18Speaker 2: So it only makes sense that when they spoke about building success, it came from that level of mind.
- 19:24Speaker 2: You need to physically go out and get your hands dirty in order to make an income.
- 19:28Speaker 2: You need to actually trade your time in order to make money.
- 19:32Speaker 2: We live in a different world now.
- 19:33Speaker 2: We can make passive income and we can make money while we sleep because of the opportunities that we now have access to.
- 19:42Speaker 2: So consciously, we know this, but we're still running off old programs where that wasn't even a reality.
- 19:47Speaker 2: So we need to be aware that times are different now.
- 19:49Speaker 2: And if we are aware that times are different, we need to have a different belief system.
- 19:53Speaker 2: So really just letting go of the belief that your success is dependent on your hard work and know that money is not just attracted to hard work, but attracted to your vibration.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Success is dependent on your vibration and not just hard work.
- 20:12Speaker 2: And again, that's not something that I ever got told growing up.
- 20:15Speaker 2: And if you did, then come and let me know, but I would highly doubt that was a common conversation because of the way that you had to make money generations before us.
- 20:25Speaker 2: So letting go that money and success is dependent on hard work and instead really believing to your core that money and success is dependent on your vibration, the frequency you're putting out, the person you're showing up as and what you are expecting for your life.
- 20:41Speaker 2: So, number one, you need to remove that seed.
- 20:44Speaker 2: You need to get in your garden bed, aka your subconscious mind.
- 20:47Speaker 2: You need to do the rewriting work to dig up those old seeds and plant new ones.
- 20:51Speaker 2: That success can happen on any timeline.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Success is influenced by your vibration and not just hard work.
- 20:59Speaker 2: And the more open you are to receive, the more money you'll make, not how hard you're willing to work.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Normalize expansive and quick growth instead of normalizing slow progress.
- 21:11Speaker 2: And just quickly on that, I know a lot of women in business are allowing the slow progress.
- 21:17Speaker 2: They're normalizing the slow progress, and of course they are because it matches up with their belief system that success takes a long time.
- 21:25Speaker 2: So it's actually more comfortable and it feels more normal to allow success to take a long time because it confirms their beliefs.
- 21:34Speaker 2: And when you're operating in a way where you're confirming your beliefs, you're in your comfort zone, you're in your familiar and you just go about life on autopilot.
- 21:44Speaker 2: So, just see, are you allowing the slow progress, are you allowing those income months to still feel so far away and therefore be so far away, and instead start normalizing quantum leaps?
- 21:58Speaker 2: Start normalizing getting to six figures in less than a year and then to 5k the year after and then a million the year after, like, let's normalize like huge quantum leaps, quick progress, remembering whatever you believe in will be true for you.
- 22:14Speaker 2: So, all in all, to wrap that first part up, it's about learning about the energetics of business and how to reprogram your subconscious mind when it comes to areas in life like money, business success and I'll help you do that if you're planning on joining me in her empire.
- 22:39Speaker 2: We also do a lot of that in the academy.
- 22:41Speaker 2: But, yeah, it's about getting really familiar with the energetics of business, the broadcast that would create the results that you want to see and how to tune into that broadcast that would create the results that you want to see and how to tune into that.
- 23:00Speaker 2: I just actually had another note.
- 23:01Speaker 2: There is a very fine line too between like.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Okay, so I'm about to contradict everything that I've just said in a little bit, but I just want to.
- 23:03Speaker 2: I just want to make a note.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Obviously, when you start a business from scratch, there is an element where you have to build to an extent, and that building has to be consistent.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I just want you to say I'm not overriding that Like, I know that.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Like, when you start a business, you have to be somewhat patient.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Like you have to be posting for a little bit before someone can find you, or you have to be selling your product for a little bit before it gets out in the world.
- 23:32Speaker 2: I know that I'm not saying that that's not true, but there's a fine line between building your business and allowing slow progress.
- 23:41Speaker 2: So I guess this is for those who have been in business for a long time now you're past the building phase of business.
- 23:50Speaker 2: You're past the building phase of business.
- 23:55Speaker 2: If you've been showing up consistently for a number of years, then your business is built.
- 23:58Speaker 2: If you're still not seeing the results that you want to see, it's because you're allowing the slowness.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Let's let that sink in a little bit.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Fine line between I'm still building, I'm still being patient and allowing slowness and again, like if you've been in business for a long time and you're not seeing those results, you're allowing that.
- 24:20Speaker 2: And this is where I was like this is a big realization to have.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Like, if you're not seeing what you want to see, it's because you're allowing that.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Like I heard that one time and I did an audit and I was like, wow, everything that I don't have in my life is so because I'm allowing that, and that blew my mind.
- 24:34Speaker 2: So I'll just finish that first part with that, just so you can sink in and even pause this podcast and just have a think about what I just said and like ferment on that.
- 24:44Speaker 2: It'll blow your mind, but suddenly it's all in your control again, which is exciting.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Control again, which is exciting.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Anyways, let's move through to number two.
- 24:57Speaker 2: The second thing that I would do if I was building to six figures is show up now as if you are already making six figures Now.
- 25:04Speaker 2: This has been coming up a lot in her empire and I'm realizing that the way I teach my clients is contrary to the way other coaches teach on this topic, and I know that because my client came to me and she was doing certain things in her business and I questioned why she was doing that and she told me one of her other coaches told us to do that.
- 25:28Speaker 2: But essentially she's somewhat new in business and she's in that building phase which I spoke about before.
- 25:34Speaker 2: So she's creating free lead magnets, showing up consistently on social media from the point of view of like, hey guys, I'm here, this is what I'm about, this is what you can learn from me, like, really like claiming her place on that stage, which is amazing.
- 25:48Speaker 2: But she was holding back from launching paid programs and paid products because this other coach was telling her you need to just keep showing up and build and put freebies out.
- 26:03Speaker 2: And you know, like it kind of kept emphasizing you're too early on in your business to be charging people for what you're here to share with them.
- 26:12Speaker 2: And that's what I questioned her on, because she was promoting one-on-one coaching, but for free.
- 26:20Speaker 2: And I said why are you promoting one-on-one coaching for free?
- 26:22Speaker 2: You are a trained nutritionist, you should be charging people for this.
- 26:26Speaker 2: And she said because I'm only new in my business.
- 26:30Speaker 2: And I was like no, no, no, we need to be showing up as if we are already where we want to be Even more so if you are qualified and you have experience.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Sure, maybe you've just started your business, but in the example I'm giving, she was trained in nutrition, she had a certification in nutrition, she had years and years and years up her belt of her own experience.
- 26:54Speaker 2: But, yeah, sure, her ABN was only registered six months ago or whatever it was.
- 26:58Speaker 2: So I was like, no, you need to show up from the point of view of I'm already making six figures and watch your results change, because your identity equals your results.
- 27:11Speaker 2: If you're showing up as like this little shy, timid person in business of like hey, like sorry to inconvenience you, I'm only new around here, but like um, I was just wondering if you wanted to buy um, my ebook that identity will not create six figures.
- 27:31Speaker 2: An identity that will create six figures is showing up with confidence in your power and acting like you've hit six figures every year for the past five years.
- 27:40Speaker 2: That energy will produce very different results.
- 27:44Speaker 2: People will also be more attracted to that, and I was saying that to her.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I was like if someone is at the point in their life where they're struggling with their bloating and they're feeling really tired and they're ready to work with a nutrition coach and you are showing up from the point of view of like hey, sorry, like I'm like I am trained in nutrition but I'm only new around here and I don't know like here's a free ebook.
- 28:08Speaker 2: They're not going to want to, probably not going to want to pay you because they're going to get the vibe of like you're new around here, you don't really know what you're talking about, they don't trust you and therefore they don't really want to go with you.
- 28:22Speaker 2: They're going to go with someone else.
- 28:23Speaker 2: So putting a price on your service is such a luxurious way to say hey, I know what I'm talking about and you should trust me on that.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Hold on, I'm just going to press play on my camera.
- 28:34Speaker 2: So, yeah, anyways, that was a very long winded way of saying show up as if you're already making 6K in your business and watch your results change, because your identity equals your results.
- 28:45Speaker 2: And if you are in business saying I will hire that person once I'm making more money, I will implement those systems once I have more clients, I will start charging for my programs once I've been in business for 12 plus months, the thing with that is you're going to stay at your level because your identity is equal to your current reality, your current results, and you'll just keep producing the same.
- 29:15Speaker 2: You'll stay in that cycle.
- 29:17Speaker 2: So you need to jolt yourself forward and you need to adopt an identity as if you're already making six figures in your business.
- 29:23Speaker 2: You already have raving clients who cannot wait to enroll in your programs, buy your products, join your business.
- 29:30Speaker 2: When you show up like that, your energy shifts, your broadcast changes, you attract different people in.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Now you're playing in the realm of a different identity and therefore you'll create different results.
- 29:44Speaker 2: So show up as if you're already at a hundred K, and I guess this is a journal prompt for you.
- 29:50Speaker 2: What would you be doing different if you were already making a hundred K in your business that you're not doing now?
- 29:55Speaker 2: And what would you stop doing if you were making a hundred K in your business that you are doing now?
- 30:00Speaker 2: And just identify your answers to those prompts and then get moving.
- 30:05Speaker 2: However, you need to Stop doing certain things, turn up the dial on other things, but you ultimately want to show up, talk, walk, dress, present like a six-figure business owner.
- 30:17Speaker 2: You need to put information and products and services out in the world that a six-figure business owner would.
- 30:24Speaker 2: You need to be open to receive the results that a six-figure business owner would.
- 30:28Speaker 2: The byproduct of doing all of that is you will hit six figures.
- 30:31Speaker 2: So a lot of people go wrong in that part.
- 30:38Speaker 2: They're waiting for the results before they'll be someone different.
- 30:40Speaker 2: We need to be the different person if we want to see the different results.
- 30:42Speaker 2: So who are you?
- 30:44Speaker 2: How are you showing up?
- 30:45Speaker 2: Is that from the energy of a business owner making six figures?
- 30:50Speaker 2: Do you have the systems in place that a six-figure business would?
- 30:54Speaker 2: Are you selling products and programs and charging what a six-figure business owner would?
- 30:59Speaker 2: If not, let's do it Again, jumping to her empire, and this is the stuff I can help you with.
- 31:05Speaker 2: This is exactly what I've just been doing with my client.
- 31:07Speaker 2: She went just by the way client.
- 31:15Speaker 2: She went just by the way from advertising free one-on-one sessions to now charging five thousand, I think, for a one-on-one.
- 31:17Speaker 2: She also has a six-month program.
- 31:18Speaker 2: She has just launched another three-month program or before she's hit six figures.
- 31:25Speaker 2: But if you go and look at her page and you look at her product suite, you look at the way she's selling her products, you look at the energy she's putting out, you could probably, you would probably think she's already a six-figure coach or a six-figure business owner.
- 31:37Speaker 2: As a result of that, she will hit those numbers.
- 31:42Speaker 2: So showing up now acting as if it's done watch the ripple effect that is an insane thing.
- 31:48Speaker 2: The art of acting as if is a module in my world, and it's called the art of acting as if because it is an art being good at being in line with results that you haven't seen yet.
- 31:58Speaker 2: It's an art and it's something you got to get really good at.
- 32:03Speaker 2: But those who do it well quantumly those who do it well do have really insane jumps in their business, because the universe cannot help but get around someone who is showing up like they already have something.
- 32:14Speaker 2: You open up the space and the results come Cool.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Number three is okay.
- 32:22Speaker 2: So this is actually something that changed a lot for me in my business, and I did this really well in this business and I sucked at it in my first business.
- 32:29Speaker 2: And I did this really well in this business and I sucked at it in my first business.
- 32:33Speaker 2: In my first business, I was so stuck in the comparison game.
- 32:38Speaker 2: I was constantly looking at what other people were doing, not copying them, but feeling like it was working for them.
- 32:45Speaker 2: So therefore, I had to do it that way, without checking in.
- 32:48Speaker 2: If it felt good for me, if it was aligned with my brand I didn't even have a brand then I was just like showing up throwing shit at the wall because I saw someone else do it, I would do it.
- 32:59Speaker 2: And social media can be overwhelming if you are that person, because you are constantly bombarded with other people doing what you're doing and it doesn't give you the space to step into yourself and be unique with what you're here to share with the world.
- 33:14Speaker 2: So my recommendation number three and again it's changed so much in my business is stop consuming social media and learn through books and podcasts, books and podcasts.
- 33:36Speaker 2: The reason that is my recommendation is you want to be learning knowledge, not learning how to apply the knowledge, and I'm really big on helping my clients have a unique approach to whatever they're sharing.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Because the thing is, we live in a world now where there are thousands and thousands and thousands of people doing what you're sharing.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Because the thing is we live in a world now where there are thousands and thousands and thousands of people doing what you're doing, the reason you will stand out isn't really about what you're teaching, but it's how you're teaching it, it's who you are, and I help my clients those in business still create a personal brand, because you want your business to be a representation of you, especially in service-based businesses.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Because most of the knowledge like I always say this on my podcast what I teach you guys, you could go and Google, read a book on YouTube.
- 34:29Speaker 2: The reason you join the Academy Her Empire, come and tune into this podcast every single week, is because of how I teach the knowledge, the words I use, the language I use to convey the knowledge, the examples I provide.
- 34:45Speaker 2: That's why you guys want to learn from me.
- 34:48Speaker 2: So that's what you need to find when it comes to your business your unique approach, and you're not going to give yourself enough space if you're trying to find those answers on social media.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Everyone's personality is different.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Everyone's belief system is different.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Everyone's way of wanting to be on this planet is different.
- 35:10Speaker 2: So what might work for other people won't necessarily work for you, because it may feel unaligned.
- 35:18Speaker 2: You just might not be very good at doing it that way, but there's another way that you would be so good at doing.
- 35:24Speaker 2: So get off social media, limit your time on that app, stop consuming so much and start creating.
- 35:32Speaker 2: And if you are in a place where you still want to learn and you still want to be exposed to particular topics to do with your industry, do that through a book or do that through a podcast, because, again, you're getting access to the knowledge and the facts and then you can apply it in a way that is unique to you and your brand.
- 35:53Speaker 2: And I guess, did I have that on here?
- 35:55Speaker 2: No, but create a brand as well.
- 35:58Speaker 2: So go beyond what you are selling and teaching on and create a brand that's going to make what you're selling and teaching on unique.
- 36:07Speaker 2: So, for me, what I did really early on when I launched this business was I booked a photo shoot.
- 36:16Speaker 2: I got really clear on like the, the vibe and the experience that I wanted to provide to my clients and my audience, because I wasn't the first mindset coach, I'm not the first mindset like that, I'm not the first person that's doing this, teaching you this, talking about personal development.
- 36:35Speaker 2: So I needed a way to make my brand stand out.
- 36:39Speaker 2: So what I did and you'll go back and you'll see the transition I wanted and it still is my brand is giving luxury, personal growth vibes.
- 36:51Speaker 2: So my branding colors are neutrals and browns.
- 36:56Speaker 2: I always like to get dressed up when I'm doing podcast episodes.
- 37:01Speaker 2: My desk is beautiful and I always showcase that when you're a client in my world.
- 37:07Speaker 2: You would know this if you're a client in my world.
- 37:09Speaker 2: The whole experience is luxurious, elegant aesthetic.
- 37:20Speaker 2: That's what makes my personal growth teaching stand out, because of that experience in the brand that I've built.
- 37:24Speaker 2: So if you haven't yet built a brand and you're just selling stuff without having thought about the experience you want to create, the vibe you want to give off, then I would encourage you to do that and make sure whatever you come up with aligns with your personality.
- 37:38Speaker 2: So if you were to come into my home, you would know like you would be like yeah, that matches her brand.
- 37:45Speaker 2: So that's another thing too Like you want your brand to match who you are, and then it becomes easier to sell your brand and showcase your brand because you're showcasing your life and who you are.
- 37:55Speaker 2: It's a part of you.
- 37:56Speaker 2: So when you're making it align with who you are, it becomes easier.
- 37:59Speaker 2: Another example of that is I have a client and she lives by the beach, she's a mom of two and her vibe is like messy mom look business on the go.
- 38:12Speaker 2: But for a long time she was trying to show up as like this put together business woman.
- 38:16Speaker 2: I guess, like what you'd imagine, my content looks like Really dressed up, makeup, hair, blazer done and I said to her I'm like that's not.
- 38:24Speaker 2: There's not a right or wrong way to do business.
- 38:26Speaker 2: It's got to feel good for you and that was a lot of effort for her because it meant trying to find time away from the kids, going to do her hair and makeup and putting on an outfit that she never wears, clearing her house.
- 38:39Speaker 2: So it looks just looked a certain way to become a big effort for her and that's not what you want.
- 38:44Speaker 2: When you have a brand, you want it to mesh and align with your life.
- 38:48Speaker 2: So she did a complete rebrand and she's like my brand and the experience that I give off is yeah, like a mom on the go her house.
- 38:57Speaker 2: If it's messy in the background of her content, she doesn't clean it up, she just lets it go.
- 39:01Speaker 2: She's wearing her active wear because she's just dropped the kids off at school and that became her brand.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Her business skyrocketed once that happened because she, of course, then related to other people who were like her and yet business became easier because it became a part of her life.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Anyways, that was the biggest sidetrack, because I didn't actually intend on talking about branding.
- 39:23Speaker 2: But, yeah, coming up with your own personal brand and finding a way to showcase your knowledge in a way that showcases you and the best place to do that is to get off social media.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Limit the amount of time on social media.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Another thing I will just say on that topic is, if you're finding yourself comparing yourself to a lot of people on Instagram, or some women in particular, and it gives you that feeling of I'm behind, I'm not doing enough, I'm not as good as them, then until you work with me and I can help you remove that limiting belief, hide their stories, hide them on your feed so that they're not constantly just in your face.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Because if you are opening your Instagram app and you're getting that feeling of I'm behind, I'm not doing enough, I'm not as good as them, that's the energy you want to be putting out there and you're not going to create the income and attract the clients in that you want, because that just wouldn't create that.
- 40:17Speaker 2: That energy and those results do not match up.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Like attracts like.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Remember that.
- 40:21Speaker 2: So again, like, just hide these people until you're at a place where you're really confident and within your power, and then, of course, you can keep watching them.
- 40:29Speaker 2: What you'll find, too, is you won't want to keep watching people.
- 40:31Speaker 2: So for a lot of women, they watch people not from the place of inspiration, but of like, oh, like.
- 40:40Speaker 2: I need some ideas, like what are they doing?
- 40:41Speaker 2: And again, like, when we're consuming, we're not creating.
- 40:42Speaker 2: And I promise you, if you give yourself the space to learn what you need to learn by way of books and listening to podcasts, and then you give yourself the space to be creative and come up with your own ideas as to how you're going to share that knowledge, your mind will be flooded with ideas.
- 41:00Speaker 2: I promise you that.
- 41:01Speaker 2: But if that's not happening, it's because you're not giving yourself enough creation space.
- 41:06Speaker 2: You're constantly just consuming, consuming, consuming.
- 41:09Speaker 2: So limit the amount of time on social media, learn through books and podcasts, so that you get the knowledge, and then the way you're applying it is completely unique to you.
- 41:20Speaker 2: The final point I had here was get more comfortable with being uncomfortable, and I had here on my notes, put some pressure on your goals and I guess not loving the word pressure, but we're going to roll with it because I can't think of another word.
- 41:37Speaker 2: But yeah, you want to put some pressure on your goals.
- 41:41Speaker 2: If you are someone who has been in the same place in business for a while now, every month you set a new goal with the conscious intention to achieve it, and another month rolls by and you don't.
- 41:54Speaker 2: Things in your life just haven't changed for a while now.
- 41:58Speaker 2: You're likely very comfortable with where you're at.
- 42:01Speaker 2: We need to ruffle some feathers and put some pressure on you achieving your goals, because at the moment, if you hit the goal or not, it's not really going to impact your life or sorry, if you don't hit the goal, you're going to be okay.
- 42:17Speaker 2: So maybe you are growing a business alongside still going to a job and you've set the goal to achieve a certain revenue in your business.
- 42:27Speaker 2: If you don't achieve that next month, you're still going to be okay because you have your income coming in from the business.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Okay, so what if we removed the income from sorry, let me?
- 42:39Speaker 2: Let me.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Let me say that again, cause I just fumbled my words.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Let's say you still go to a job and you're wanting to build your business to the point where you can leave your job.
- 42:49Speaker 2: So every month you set an income goal in your business and yeah, and then if you don't achieve it, it doesn't actually matter because you've still got money coming in from your job.
- 43:02Speaker 2: So in that case, yeah, sure, of course you want to achieve that goal, but you're actually going to be okay if you don't and there's no pressure there to actually hit it because you've still got money coming in from your job.
- 43:13Speaker 2: So what I'm trying to say here is an example of putting pressure on that goal would be to let's remove your job.
- 43:22Speaker 2: So let's set a goal to resign from your job in two months time.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Then you're not going to be getting an income from your job.
- 43:29Speaker 2: And guess what?
- 43:30Speaker 2: Now you've created some pressure.
- 43:32Speaker 2: You need to hit that income goal because financially, you need to make money in the business, because you don't have that safety net anymore.
- 43:39Speaker 2: But whatever you have the safety net, there's kind of like this I mean like I'd like to hit it, but if I don't, I'm not screwed.
- 43:45Speaker 2: We kind of want to like, create an element of like no, let's put some pressure on.
- 43:51Speaker 2: So if you don't achieve your goal, you are screwed.
- 43:53Speaker 2: And like, my choice of words isn't very good, but hopefully you know what I'm putting down.
- 43:57Speaker 2: So I guess, like take some risk in your life, get yourself uncomfortable so that there is a pressure that you need to attract those clients in.
- 44:06Speaker 2: You need to make more money, you need to do the things you're saying you want to do, because you no longer have that safety net that's there to catch you if you don't hit those goals, because you're going to be okay anyway.
- 44:18Speaker 2: When I have done this in my business, it has exploded.
- 44:22Speaker 2: At the time, of course it was scary, but every single time it paid off.
- 44:30Speaker 2: And my favorite quote I say this all the time on the show is leap and the universe will catch you.
- 44:32Speaker 2: And not enough women are living life from that.
- 44:34Speaker 2: They're not leaping and they're not trusting the universe will catch you.
- 44:35Speaker 2: And not enough women are living life from that they're not leaping and they're not trusting the universe will catch them.
- 44:39Speaker 2: They're staying where it's comfortable, they're leaning on their safety net too much and therefore they're putting these goals out there but there's no pressure to actually hit them because they're going to be okay if they don't.
- 44:51Speaker 2: So, taking some more risks, putting some pressure on your goals so that you're like I actually need to make this money now.
- 44:57Speaker 2: I actually need to promote that product.
- 44:59Speaker 2: I actually need to sell out that program.
- 45:01Speaker 2: I have a need for these goals now.
- 45:03Speaker 2: It's not just something that I'm throwing out there and just seeing how I go.
- 45:07Speaker 2: So get uncomfortable.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Invest in her empire If you want to take your business to the next level.
- 45:14Speaker 2: And that investment of $6,000 is scaring, you do it anyway, because now you've got some pressure that you need to be making at least $1,000 a month in your business to pay for your investment in her empire at the very least.
- 45:30Speaker 2: But as I always say to people, I'm here to not only help you get your investment back, but like way more than your investment.
- 45:36Speaker 2: You don't enroll with a mentor.
- 45:38Speaker 2: You don't invest in a program to be in a worse off position.
- 45:41Speaker 2: That is not the point of working with a mentor or enrolling in a personal growth program.
- 45:46Speaker 2: It's to go beyond where you are right now.
- 45:50Speaker 2: It's to grow, and I think sometimes we forget that.
- 45:52Speaker 2: We forget that when you invest in a mentor, that you're investing to be further along, not worse off.
- 46:00Speaker 2: I mean, like, I know what it's like investing.
- 46:01Speaker 2: It can be scary, but I did it anyway and that's why my business grew so much, because my first mentor was $6,000 and I had no idea how I was going to pay it, but I paid it, being like, well, I guess my business has to make this money now, because otherwise I actually can't afford this.
- 46:18Speaker 2: And my business made money.
- 46:20Speaker 2: So invest in her empire, even if you have no idea how you're going to pay for it right now.
- 46:24Speaker 2: Put it out there that okay.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Well, now I need to make sure I make the money in my business to pay for it.
- 46:29Speaker 2: It puts you out of your comfort zone.
- 46:31Speaker 2: Investing was the first example.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Second thing is resigning from your job, or at least putting down an end date that you can work towards and you really embody that it's going to happen on that date.
- 46:44Speaker 2: I was just talking to someone in her empire today.
- 46:46Speaker 2: She is a full-time nurse.
- 46:49Speaker 2: She also has an online business and she wants to go full-time in her online business and she has been saying she wants to resign and setting these goals in her business.
- 47:00Speaker 2: But if she wasn't hitting the goals in her business like the example I just gave, she was still okay because she had a nursing job to pay the bills.
- 47:07Speaker 2: She has put down a resignation date.
- 47:10Speaker 2: Now she has to make sure she gets her online business to the next level, has to make sure she's making X amount of money because after this date that safety net's getting removed and now she's relying on her business.
- 47:23Speaker 2: That boldness creates huge change.
- 47:27Speaker 2: So investing, resigning and then.
- 47:31Speaker 2: Another example I had is hiring staff.
- 47:33Speaker 2: And then another example I had is hiring staff so I don't know hiring a marketing director or an admin and you have to pay them $1,500 a month.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Maybe right now that feels like a stretch, but you go in hiring that person, putting the pressure on your business now to make an extra $1,500 a month so that you can pay for this new staff member.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Remembering when you create space a month so that you can pay for this new staff member.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Remembering when you create space, the universe will fill it.
- 47:57Speaker 2: When you create containers for money to come, the money will come.
- 48:02Speaker 2: So at the moment, if you don't have containers for money to come, because the container is filled with I don't know again, like income from your current job or income from your business, right now, if you haven't created extra containers, there's nowhere for extra money to go.
- 48:22Speaker 2: So, creating extra containers with the intention that you will now fill them.
- 48:28Speaker 2: So, hiring someone?
- 48:29Speaker 2: Okay, now I've got to make the money to pay them.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Investing in a mentor?
- 48:32Speaker 2: Now I've got to make the money to pay for that.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Resigning from your job now I have to make the money to afford my life because my job is no longer there as a safety net.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Putting some pressure on your goals, creating space for the money to come in, and the money will come in.
- 48:46Speaker 2: That's it.
- 48:48Speaker 2: I think that's my four things.
- 48:50Speaker 2: Yeah, perfect.
