  Speaker 2: on a daily basis, was waking up making my own decisions.

  Speaker 2: I had three telephones, but I was just I'll just

  Speaker 2: wake up and just start nonsense. I would open my

  Speaker 2: morning with nonsense, man, I would, I would just I was.

  Speaker 2: I was in a bad place man, because I had

  Speaker 2: made a decision. I just made a decision. I don't

  Speaker 2: know if it was even a one day. I just said,

  Speaker 2: you know what, I ain't gonna talk to God about

  Speaker 2: nothing else. I didn't do that. I just over a

  Speaker 2: period of time became more and more about me, more

  Speaker 2: and more self, more and more doing what I wanted

  Speaker 2: to do. More. I was waking up living more and
• 1:34
  Speaker 2: more without constraints. And that was a dark period of

  Speaker 2: my life, man. And I look back on it and

  Speaker 2: I go, man, how did God ever ever let you
• 1:47
  Speaker 2: back from that? Because that was crazy. Man. That's when

  Speaker 2: I understood fully that God was really really a forgiving God,
• 1:55
  Speaker 2: that God really loves you so much that he will
• 1:58
  Speaker 2: he will find a way, He will find a way

  Speaker 2: to forgive you. I mean, I can't say find a

  Speaker 2: way God will forgive you. Ain't no find a way.

  Speaker 2: That's that's how he operates. He's a forgiving God, man,

  Speaker 2: because for have given me for that period I was

  Speaker 2: in and then to bring me completely back and let

  Speaker 2: me get up and build me back up. Man. But

  Speaker 2: one thing it taught me. Taught me a couple of things.

  Speaker 2: Number One, you are nothing without God. That was the

  Speaker 2: biggest lesson I learned. Number Two, the other lesson I
• 2:45
  Speaker 2: learned was you don't need to ever try that again.

  Speaker 2: And I think the third biggest lesson I probably learned
• 2:54
  Speaker 2: was as you look back on the results of the
• 2:58
  Speaker 2: decision you made not to confide, confer or have relationship

  Speaker 2: with God. If you look at the results, it was
• 3:08
  Speaker 2: just it's heartbreaking, heartbreaking the number of years I wasted,
• 3:15
  Speaker 2: But it was all for a lesson learned, so I
• 3:18
  Speaker 2: didn't even I learned to quit looking at them als
• 3:20
  Speaker 2: as losses. And I wish everybody else could understand that,
• 3:25
  Speaker 2: stop looking at every al you take in life as
• 3:28
  Speaker 2: a loss, because that's not always the case. Sometimes and
• 3:36
  Speaker 2: oftentimes and all the time. And when I really look
• 3:39
  Speaker 2: back on it, all them als I took wasn't losses.

  Speaker 2: Then with lessons, I started valuing the losses and understanding
• 3:48
  Speaker 2: that the losses them als you take and are really lessons.

  Speaker 2: You can deal with it better because everybody has them.

  Speaker 2: I'm taking an AL right now. I'm taking a hard

  Speaker 2: AL right now. But guess what, I know what it is.

  Speaker 2: I know exactly what it is. I'm in the middle

  Speaker 2: of a lesson, and it's amazing at my age, how

  Speaker 2: I'm still having to learn these lessons. You don't ever

  Speaker 2: stop learning. If you keep living, You're gonna always learn.

  Speaker 2: And I'm learning something new about God right now. And
• 4:24
  Speaker 2: he needed me to understand this, to elevate me to
• 4:29
  Speaker 2: the next level. Now where that level is, I have
• 4:32
  Speaker 2: no idea. I really don't know what he's up to

  Speaker 2: right now. But I'm show trusting. I'm show trusting. That's
• 4:41
  Speaker 2: all I got. And that's exactly where he wanted me
• 4:44
  Speaker 2: to be at this point in my life. He put
• 4:46
  Speaker 2: me in a position, man, where it was just me
• 4:48
  Speaker 2: and him. It's just really me and him right now. Oh.

  Speaker 2: I have a family, I have a wife, I got

  Speaker 2: somebody I can confide in, pray with God, all that.

  Speaker 2: But God needed to pull me to the side and go, hey, man, okay,

  Speaker 2: now listen, well, I'm about to take you. I need

  Speaker 2: you to understand how important it is to stay in
• 5:06
  Speaker 2: tune with me. So he has my undivided attention right now,

  Speaker 2: and so wherever he finna elevate me too, I ain't

  Speaker 2: gonna tell you where it is cause I don't even know.

  Speaker 2: You know, I ain't like I'm holding back y'all all,

  Speaker 2: see nothing. I ain't. I don't have that for you. Really,

  Speaker 2: I'm being honest with you. I really really don't. And

  Speaker 2: a pastor sent me a text out of nowhere. He said, Man,

  Speaker 2: you know I ain't. I ain't see nothing on Instagram

  Speaker 2: or nothing. I just I was driving and God put

  Speaker 2: your face in front of me. So I'm sending you
• 5:40
  Speaker 2: this text. And he sent me a great text. Man.

  Speaker 2: That was just what I needed at that moment, because
• 5:46
  Speaker 2: I had just asked God, God, just just give me
• 5:49
  Speaker 2: a sign that it's gonna be alright, and it wasn't.

  Speaker 2: An hour later that text came through and it was
• 5:55
  Speaker 2: just the thing I needed. So yeah, man, I'm in
• 5:59
  Speaker 2: the middle of an al right now. And it ain't
• 6:02
  Speaker 2: a loss either, just another valuable lesson that I needed.

  Speaker 2: So yeah, I learned all of that from being far
• 6:09
  Speaker 2: away from God. I won't let that happen again. Matter

  Speaker 2: of fact, I'm snuggling up real close right now, real close.
