- 0:00Speaker 1: And now Move the Sticks with Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks.
- 0:07Speaker 1: What's up, everybody? Welcome to Move the Sticks, DJ, Bucky
- 0:10Speaker 1: Rhett with you on a recap Monday, looking back at
- 0:13Speaker 1: week five of NFL Action. Buck, I'll get to you
- 0:17Speaker 1: first of all, good weekend, enjoy the baseball. How was
- 0:19Speaker 1: it for you?
- 0:21Speaker 2: It's been a great weekend where we're talking about one
- 0:22Speaker 2: and one split. We got all kinds of action going. Uh.
- 0:25Speaker 3: We have Padres fans that don't know how to act.
- 0:27Speaker 3: It's been great. Is business as usual? Yeah?
- 0:29Speaker 1: The Padre fans are the ones throwing stuff on the field.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Go ahead, right, well, how was your weekend? You have
- 0:33Speaker 1: a good weekend. I can't see that I'm trying to show.
- 0:40Speaker 1: I can't see Indiana six and oh all right, yeah
- 0:44Speaker 1: that's it. That's how you get it.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Okay, all right, I don't know. First, don't worry about it.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Don't worry about it.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Or your Hoosiers football program. Let's jump in. Let's jump
- 0:55Speaker 1: into the games. Boys. We've got a lot of games
- 0:56Speaker 1: to get into. Buck, Let's start off here, Baltimore, Cincinnati.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I've got thoughts. I want to hear your thoughts. But
- 1:02Speaker 1: before we get our thoughts. Uh, let's hear from Joe
- 1:05Speaker 1: Burrow and attack this from the Cincinnati side of things.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Then we'll get to Baltimore.
- 1:10Speaker 3: We're not a championship level team right now. We're not.
- 1:16Speaker 1: You know, I like to think that, you know, we'll
- 1:19Speaker 1: come back and improve throughout the season to get to
- 1:21Speaker 1: that point, but right now we are not, and we
- 1:24Speaker 1: have to get better.
- 1:26Speaker 2: What do you think, Buck, Look, he's captain an obvious statement,
- 1:30Speaker 2: but now I didn't have a championship level team just
- 1:33Speaker 2: in talking about the Cincinnati beingers.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I wrote about it on Friday in the notebook. The
- 1:37Speaker 3: defense just struggling.
- 1:38Speaker 2: The defense has been unable to generate pressure, They've been
- 1:41Speaker 2: unable to consistently cover, and defensive coordinator lou and Aroumo
- 1:44Speaker 2: has been at a loss and in terms of trying
- 1:47Speaker 2: to come up with the plan to allow his players
- 1:50Speaker 2: to be at their best. And I don't know where
- 1:52Speaker 2: they go because when the Bengals embarked on this journey
- 1:55Speaker 2: a couple of years ago with trying to get a
- 1:57Speaker 2: lot of defensive personnel, they look they committed UH picks
- 2:00Speaker 2: in the first three rounds and eat to the last
- 2:02Speaker 2: two drafts to get younger, to get more dynamic and
- 2:04Speaker 2: more athletic, and it just hasn't panned out. This is
- 2:09Speaker 2: one where the team is going to have to lean
- 2:11Speaker 2: extensively on their offense to get it done. And right now,
- 2:14Speaker 2: Joe Burrn the offense simply can't cover a defense that's
- 2:17Speaker 2: LaGG him behind. Yeah.
- 2:19Speaker 5: Man, it's it's tough when it's tough to score thirty
- 2:21Speaker 5: eight and lose, you know, especially when you were as
- 2:24Speaker 5: uh as just on it as Joe Burrow and Jamar
- 2:27Speaker 5: Chase and t Higgins were in this game.
- 2:29Speaker 4: You know, I'm trying.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm trying to get rests attention is an all big
- 2:32Speaker 1: tent holder. I was just trying to get his attention
- 2:34Speaker 1: here of how we're how we get that that hold down.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I mean, that's why he's the long time you get
- 2:40Speaker 1: to talk about your holding experience and you don't.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Even take it and run with it. What are you?
- 2:43Speaker 1: I was going to get there.
- 2:44Speaker 4: I was going to get there, you guys.
- 2:46Speaker 5: I was trying to trying to explain all the good
- 2:48Speaker 5: things they were, by the way, by the way, they
- 2:50Speaker 5: should have had a fifty three yard field goal for
- 2:52Speaker 5: the win and overtime, and yeah, I'm Ryan Rico, Like, yeah,
- 2:56Speaker 5: he got kind of jammed up by the center, like
- 2:59Speaker 5: jammed up year on the inside. So I mean, like
- 3:02Speaker 5: we'd like to see the long snapper maybe get that
- 3:04Speaker 5: a little bit more outside so it's easier just go
- 3:06Speaker 5: right down. But yeah, just kind of as he was
- 3:08Speaker 5: trying to bring it from all the way over on
- 3:10Speaker 5: the right side down to place it nicely, it kind
- 3:12Speaker 5: of dropped right out of his hand. And at that
- 3:14Speaker 5: point the timing is totally off and you're not going
- 3:17Speaker 5: to make a fifty three yard field goal that way,
- 3:19Speaker 5: and that that is unfortunate because that should have been
- 3:21Speaker 5: a Bengals walk off winner right there.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Yeah, on the heels of the defense making a play
- 3:27Speaker 1: as well, it gets you to turnover chance you you're
- 3:30Speaker 1: going to leave that stadium house right off. It fell
- 3:32Speaker 1: on the ground. They got it, but nonetheless they ended
- 3:35Speaker 1: up advancing the football. But I was going back through
- 3:38Speaker 1: this and watching it, the first thing I wanted to
- 3:40Speaker 1: watch was on the Cincinnati Bengal side of things. I
- 3:42Speaker 1: wanted you guys do the negative so I could do
- 3:43Speaker 1: the positive. Jamar Chase, You if you're a Jamar Chase's
- 3:47Speaker 1: agent and you want to argue for him to be
- 3:49Speaker 1: the highest paid receiver in the NFL. Just put on
- 3:52Speaker 1: this tape. I mean it was ten for a buck
- 3:54Speaker 1: ninety three, but it was everything. It was the change
- 3:57Speaker 1: of directing, the change of direction, quickness, it's walling guys off,
- 4:01Speaker 1: it's being physical, it's understanding how the tempo routes, option routes,
- 4:05Speaker 1: having a field there, taking a quick hitter in the flat,
- 4:08Speaker 1: taking its seventy for yards after the catch. You know, Bucket,
- 4:12Speaker 1: if you watch this Bengals offense and never turned over
- 4:15Speaker 1: to the other side of the ball, you'd be like,
- 4:16Speaker 1: oh man, this might be this could be a super
- 4:18Speaker 1: Bowl team. They look like they're humming with Joe Burrow. Offensively,
- 4:21Speaker 1: that's going to get lost because they're one and four
- 4:23Speaker 1: because their defense is terrible.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, the defense is terrible, and so it's on Zach
- 4:28Speaker 2: Taylor to figure out a way to game plan to
- 4:30Speaker 2: play with the team that is offensive dominant. So does
- 4:32Speaker 2: that mean maybe slow things down and allow your offense
- 4:35Speaker 2: to be the best defense? Does that mean speed it
- 4:37Speaker 2: up so you can put tremendous pressure on the opponent
- 4:40Speaker 2: and make them get out of a double dimensional plan
- 4:43Speaker 2: where they just have to run it all the time.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I mean, they have to throw it all the time
- 4:46Speaker 3: and they can't run it. I don't know.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I just know this when I see Jamar Chase and
- 4:50Speaker 2: T Higgins and Joe Burrow lighting it up. They're wasting
- 4:53Speaker 2: those performances by not being good enough on defense. It's
- 4:57Speaker 2: now on Zach Taylor to figure out how to manage
- 4:59Speaker 2: the game with an offense as prolific and a defense
- 5:02Speaker 2: as porus.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Uh man, that is, like you see this as that
- 5:08Speaker 5: is probably the last year you're gonna have both those
- 5:10Speaker 5: guys lining up for you. I mean, depending on what
- 5:12Speaker 5: happens with the T Higgins situation, you know, playing on
- 5:14Speaker 5: a franchise tag, and then obviously with the Jamar Chase
- 5:17Speaker 5: contract situation, that price only going up and they've got
- 5:20Speaker 5: not a lot to show for it right now, sitting
- 5:22Speaker 5: here at one and four. I want to say though,
- 5:24Speaker 5: on the raven side of things, guys, I mean this,
- 5:28Speaker 5: if this is what they look like on offense, watch
- 5:33Speaker 5: right when Derek Henry's rolling, plus you're still having Lamar throw,
- 5:37Speaker 5: you know, for five touchdowns like this is and that
- 5:40Speaker 5: was an incredible effort from this offense all around. You know,
- 5:45Speaker 5: the one thing that I was encouraged by is they
- 5:47Speaker 5: got say Flowers going in this game. You know, Zay
- 5:49Speaker 5: was a guy who was really popular with us in
- 5:51Speaker 5: our rookie drafts last year, right, and you know he
- 5:54Speaker 5: was a guy you could count on five, six, seven
- 5:56Speaker 5: catches a game. He had gone really quiet in the
- 5:58Speaker 5: last two weeks and actually was kind of seldom used.
- 6:01Speaker 5: You had just thirty one snaps the last two games
- 6:04Speaker 5: combined coming into this one. He ends up on the
- 6:06Speaker 5: field for forty one reps in this game and catches
- 6:09Speaker 5: seven balls from Lamar Jackson's targeted a bunch. When you
- 6:12Speaker 5: get him and man coverage crossing the field, it's like
- 6:15Speaker 5: game over. And then obviously put the ball in his
- 6:17Speaker 5: hands quickly let him go make a play. That's just
- 6:19Speaker 5: such a dynamic piece to this offense that when you
- 6:22Speaker 5: combine it with Charlie Kohler and Mark Andrews and Isaiah
- 6:25Speaker 5: Likely in the tight ends and then a power run game,
- 6:27Speaker 5: how do you defend that?
- 6:28Speaker 4: Buck?
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know how you defend it because just
- 6:31Speaker 2: starting at the top, when you think about Lamar Jackson
- 6:34Speaker 2: and Dereck Henry, I don't know how you find that
- 6:35Speaker 2: combination the fact that the Baltimore Ravens are leaning into
- 6:38Speaker 2: the run. One of the first teams to go over
- 6:41Speaker 2: one thousand yards in five games. They've outrushed each of
- 6:44Speaker 2: their opponents by one hundred yards in each of those contests.
- 6:48Speaker 2: That is crazy when you think about how physical they are,
- 6:52Speaker 2: how they're able to really come with you with force.
- 6:55Speaker 2: But Lamar Jackson is still able to deliver the big
- 6:58Speaker 2: plays that you need in the passing game to keep
- 7:00Speaker 2: the defense at bay. I didn't think that it much
- 7:04Speaker 2: and Tom Micket would be able to evolve this offense
- 7:07Speaker 2: while retaining the identity of the Baltimore Ravens as a
- 7:09Speaker 2: smash my football team. But he's done it, and it's
- 7:12Speaker 2: one of those offenses that you love to watch.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it's versatile. I went through all those A Flowers
- 7:17Speaker 1: targets and watch those this morning, and you know, you
- 7:20Speaker 1: talk about winning at the line of scrimmage. With the release,
- 7:22Speaker 1: they get some bunch of stuff to free him up.
- 7:24Speaker 1: He wins. It's over.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Uh.
- 7:26Speaker 1: That was excellent and he might be as good. And
- 7:28Speaker 1: I know he's a young player, but if you want
- 7:30Speaker 1: to just watch a full speed outcut and watch someone
- 7:33Speaker 1: just rip through that thing without gearing down like out.
- 7:37Speaker 4: That was special.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Ye gosh, she did it a couple of times, so
- 7:40Speaker 1: he's he's a fun one. But again, the Lamar Jackson game,
- 7:43Speaker 1: huge win for the Ravens. Got to get the ball down.
- 7:45Speaker 1: We need got to get the holder to get the
- 7:47Speaker 1: ball down. I know Rhett was. We were kind of
- 7:49Speaker 1: joking with threat, but he was. Rhett was an all
- 7:51Speaker 1: big ten holder, So that's with experience. He's blaming the
- 7:54Speaker 1: long snapper. Neither hearing her there. All right, let's get
- 7:57Speaker 1: keep it going here. Let's go to the next game here.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Buffalo Houston Buck Buffalo. All that talk we did about
- 8:02Speaker 1: third downs with them and who's going to be their guy?
- 8:05Speaker 1: Khalio Shakir not not playing in this ballgame. They're three
- 8:08Speaker 1: for fourteen on third down offensively, Josh Allen, I mean
- 8:12Speaker 1: they completed thirty percent of his passes. So it was
- 8:16Speaker 1: a struggle bust for them offensively.
- 8:19Speaker 3: This was the biggest fear of they had with the
- 8:20Speaker 3: Buffalo Bills.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Like it's great to do it by committee, but when
- 8:23Speaker 2: you play these big, heavyweight games against teams that are
- 8:27Speaker 2: legitimate contenders, do they have enough firepower on the perimeter
- 8:30Speaker 2: and We can talk about Josh Allen doing the Pad
- 8:33Speaker 2: Mahomes thing elevating them, but we've seen Pat Mahomes have
- 8:35Speaker 2: difficulty elevating those around him if they're not at the
- 8:39Speaker 2: top tier. And what we see from Buffalo when they
- 8:42Speaker 2: needed them to win against an elite team in the
- 8:44Speaker 2: Houston Texans, the guys on the perimeter canme win and
- 8:47Speaker 2: that puts an annoyting amount of stress on Josh Allen
- 8:49Speaker 2: and he wasn't able to deliver on Sunday.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Yeah, that was tough to watch. I mean a little
- 8:54Speaker 4: bit too.
- 8:54Speaker 5: Obviously took a huge hit in this game and you know,
- 8:57Speaker 5: ended up coming back into the game fortunately for Buffalo.
- 9:00Speaker 5: Hope everything stays on the up and up for Josh
- 9:03Speaker 5: on that front here moving forward this week. But guys,
- 9:07Speaker 5: you know, and we can get to all the things
- 9:08Speaker 5: that won the Texans the game. And I don't know
- 9:10Speaker 5: that this piece that I'm going to talk about was
- 9:13Speaker 5: vital to the victory, but it was certainly a part
- 9:16Speaker 5: of it and deserves some real recognition here, especially this
- 9:19Speaker 5: month as we celebrate and kind of promote the crucial
- 9:22Speaker 5: Catch initiative and cancer screenings and awareness. Dylan Horton who
- 9:27Speaker 5: is diagnosed with stage four Hodgkins lymphoma after being drafted
- 9:31Speaker 5: out of TCU by the Texans eleven months later after
- 9:35Speaker 5: the diagnosis, he's on the field place fourteen reps on
- 9:38Speaker 5: the offensive line or on the defensive front for the
- 9:41Speaker 5: Texans here and look, I went and watched all of them,
- 9:43Speaker 5: just wanted to see, you know what that looked like.
- 9:45Speaker 5: And you know, he had a couple of welcome to
- 9:47Speaker 5: the NFL moments with Dean Dawkins. You go one on
- 9:50Speaker 5: one against one of the best left tackles, that's tough,
- 9:52Speaker 5: but man, he sets the edge beautifully on a tackle
- 9:55Speaker 5: for loss against Spencer Brown at right tackle menaes Or
- 9:58Speaker 5: for Buffalo.
- 10:00Speaker 4: I think that that was just a really cool.
- 10:02Speaker 5: Piece of a nice victory against a good team for
- 10:05Speaker 5: the Houston Texans and something obviously for Dylan Horton to
- 10:08Speaker 5: build on. So a little hat tip to all that
- 10:10Speaker 5: he was able to accomplish.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Real quick from me, go around the horn here, buck,
- 10:15Speaker 1: and then follow up, I mean, would you Houston? Should
- 10:19Speaker 1: Houston be scared of anybody in the AFC at this
- 10:21Speaker 1: point in time if postseason starts tomorrow, Yeah?
- 10:28Speaker 3: I think I think Joe I think Joe Mix and
- 10:30Speaker 3: his X factor.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Their ability to have a balanced running game is critical
- 10:33Speaker 2: because you just don't want c J.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Stroud thrown it all over the yard.
- 10:36Speaker 2: But let's be honest about a Houston Texas Nico Collins
- 10:39Speaker 2: as the top five receiver. You have Stefan Diggs who
- 10:41Speaker 2: can win in the slat with tank dial. You didn't
- 10:43Speaker 2: think about what c J. Stroud is as a pass.
- 10:46Speaker 2: If you put the solid running game behind him, they
- 10:49Speaker 2: can win a shootout.
- 10:50Speaker 3: They can win a grinded out of fair have you
- 10:51Speaker 3: want to.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Play, They can do it, but it's defensively with Dimiko
- 10:54Speaker 2: Ryans really puts his stamp on this team. They're tough,
- 10:58Speaker 2: they're physical, the aggressive. He just has a great sense
- 11:01Speaker 2: of making adjustments in game. Very difficult team to deal with.
- 11:05Speaker 2: They're going to be one of those teams is hanging
- 11:06Speaker 2: around the last week or two of the postseason generally.
- 11:10Speaker 5: Yeah, again, just going back, you know you, I mean,
- 11:13Speaker 5: get Joe Mixon back at Damian Pierce. They've been without
- 11:16Speaker 5: both those guys, right, so they've been playing with RB
- 11:18Speaker 5: three and four. Daria Gumbawles getting a ton of carries here,
- 11:21Speaker 5: caught that game winner a week ago for the Texans,
- 11:24Speaker 5: and now you know, is a guy that they've relied on.
- 11:27Speaker 5: So I think the other thing about it, like the
- 11:29Speaker 5: Stefan Diggs acquisition was obviously you know, big, just to
- 11:32Speaker 5: kind of continue to give the Texas another layer, but
- 11:36Speaker 5: it also provides like some competitive depth security, right, Like
- 11:39Speaker 5: Nico Collins went down with a hamstring injury, was out,
- 11:42Speaker 5: and you still got two A list type receivers and
- 11:45Speaker 5: Tank and stuff. I don't know how many teams can
- 11:47Speaker 5: say that, right, Tank Dell went down and was out
- 11:49Speaker 5: for a week, and again you've got Digs and Collins, Like,
- 11:52Speaker 5: how many teams can.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Say that they really have that type of wide.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Receiver group that can make up for the loss of
- 11:57Speaker 5: a top tier player like you guys are talking about.
- 12:00Speaker 4: And we'll see how long NCO's out. But CJ.
- 12:02Speaker 5: Stroud, if you're open, he's gonna find you. And they
- 12:05Speaker 5: got guys that can get open. So it's a good combination.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I just in the AFC landscape coaching scheme, offense, defense, playmakers, offense, defense,
- 12:15Speaker 1: front to back, on defense, inside, outside, on offense. I mean,
- 12:19Speaker 1: it's a really complete team. It's pretty remarkable to be
- 12:22Speaker 1: picking as high as they were in the draft, you know,
- 12:24Speaker 1: literally a year ago over a year show, and they
- 12:27Speaker 1: flipped this whole thing to like if they were in
- 12:29Speaker 1: the Super Bowl at the end of the year, I
- 12:30Speaker 1: don't think any of the three of us would be shocked.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Like that's incredible how quickly they've completed a roster here.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I Nick Cassiri done a really nice job. All right,
- 12:38Speaker 1: let's get to the Sunday night game Dallas and Pittsburgh.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'll lead us off on this one. Dallas, it felt
- 12:45Speaker 1: like just kind of spreading the ball around. I was
- 12:46Speaker 1: excited to watch the Jalen Tolbert tape this morning because
- 12:49Speaker 1: he had seven for eight eighty nine and a touchdown.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I watched all of his targets. I didn't see like
- 12:55Speaker 1: this dynamic, explosive player. I didn't say anything. They just
- 12:58Speaker 1: kind of like, was just kind of wowed me. Saw hey,
- 13:01Speaker 1: he just kind of looked They kind of he leaks
- 13:02Speaker 1: down the sideline. That Pittsburgh has busted coverages now for
- 13:05Speaker 1: as much talent as they have on defense. I saw
- 13:07Speaker 1: the Charger game. They did it twice. They busted some
- 13:10Speaker 1: coverage in that game against the Cowboys last night as well.
- 13:13Speaker 1: But Tolbert catches the game winner just on a mesh route,
- 13:15Speaker 1: just crossing and Dak makes a nice throw. There was
- 13:18Speaker 1: nothing unique or special about that. But rhtt, I'll get
- 13:21Speaker 1: to you on this. The thing that stood out. They
- 13:25Speaker 1: have five guys with a catch over twenty yards in
- 13:27Speaker 1: this game. So you're watching that tape, there's nothing that
- 13:30Speaker 1: just blows you away, but you're just I thought Dak
- 13:32Speaker 1: played a clean game and just he let the game
- 13:35Speaker 1: dictate to him where the ball was going. And I
- 13:37Speaker 1: think sometimes that's when you see big quarterback days.
- 13:41Speaker 4: I would agree with you on that.
- 13:42Speaker 5: And you know, the other thing I would say that
- 13:44Speaker 5: that is kind of special is the attention to detail
- 13:47Speaker 5: though from Tolbert. On that mesh route, right, he gets
- 13:49Speaker 5: bumped off a little bit down south of the goal
- 13:52Speaker 5: line and then subtly makes his way back across the
- 13:55Speaker 5: goal line there because if he catches that ball, you know,
- 13:58Speaker 5: a couple of inches before the goal line, he was
- 13:59Speaker 5: tacked right away like it was still pretty tight coverage
- 14:02Speaker 5: on him. So the fact that he was able to
- 14:04Speaker 5: get back in and across the goal line by the
- 14:06Speaker 5: time that Dak fed him the ball obviously ended up
- 14:09Speaker 5: proving huge on a fourth and goal there with the
- 14:11Speaker 5: game on the line. So the attention to detail there
- 14:14Speaker 5: in a real big moment something.
- 14:15Speaker 4: You like to see.
- 14:16Speaker 5: Obviously, I thought they just they stayed on the field
- 14:19Speaker 5: outside of the Dak turnovers, which were not good throws,
- 14:22Speaker 5: not good decisions on third down, I thought it was
- 14:25Speaker 5: really important, like they stayed on the field. They had
- 14:29Speaker 5: fifteen third downs in this game, and only four of
- 14:31Speaker 5: them were third and six for more than third and six,
- 14:35Speaker 5: So eleven of their third downs were all third and
- 14:38Speaker 5: six are manageable or even more manageable than that, And
- 14:41Speaker 5: they converted on eight of their last eleven of them,
- 14:43Speaker 5: which I thought was huge. Then on the fourth down
- 14:44Speaker 5: obviously to essentially win the game. But when you could
- 14:48Speaker 5: stay on the field, you give your playmakers opportunities to
- 14:50Speaker 5: go and make those catches for twenty plus when you're
- 14:52Speaker 5: getting three and out, three and out and you're not
- 14:54Speaker 5: converting on third down and you're turning the ball back
- 14:56Speaker 5: to the Steelers like and that's why you see that
- 14:59Speaker 5: play disparity.
- 15:00Speaker 4: They had the ball.
- 15:00Speaker 5: They ran twenty two more plays or eighteen more plays
- 15:03Speaker 5: than the Steelers did in this game. And when you
- 15:05Speaker 5: have a limited possession type of game, and you can
- 15:08Speaker 5: extend those drives, you're going to be in a better
- 15:10Speaker 5: chance to come out on the winning side there, Buck.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:13Speaker 2: No, what's interesting about this is there was a lot
- 15:16Speaker 2: of conversation about, like Mike toml call the time out
- 15:18Speaker 2: of the trying to set.
- 15:19Speaker 3: His defense to deal with the mesh route.
- 15:21Speaker 2: And I would say this, if you go back and
- 15:23Speaker 2: look at the video, I mean, it was a perfect switch.
- 15:25Speaker 2: The corners on the outside, the safety to his inside
- 15:28Speaker 2: is going to switch with them, going to take the
- 15:30Speaker 2: crossing route across the field. He's right there in really
- 15:33Speaker 2: good position. Then you see the safety jump it. He
- 15:35Speaker 2: comes across, plays over the top of the pick. Sometimes
- 15:38Speaker 2: the other guy just wins because of the execution. I
- 15:41Speaker 2: felt like this was a really good game for the
- 15:43Speaker 2: Dallas Cowboys. And the reason why it was a good
- 15:45Speaker 2: game for the Cowboys because the Cowboys had to morph
- 15:47Speaker 2: into a blue collar team. They don't have the glitz
- 15:50Speaker 2: and glam to be able to win people with star power.
- 15:52Speaker 2: So we saw them play a complimentary game where they
- 15:54Speaker 2: ran the football. You saw Dak Prescott played like a
- 15:57Speaker 2: star when they needed to play in the pass game,
- 15:59Speaker 2: and then defense they made it enough place we get
- 16:01Speaker 2: talk about the still his offense being hamstrung or whatever
- 16:05Speaker 2: buy feels.
- 16:06Speaker 3: But overall, if you're Dallas, you feel great about this.
- 16:09Speaker 2: And because you've got a skin on the wall in
- 16:11Speaker 2: terms of playing blue collar football, you absolutely can make
- 16:14Speaker 2: this your identity going forward.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Yeah, quick thought on the Steelers and then we'll take
- 16:20Speaker 1: a break here, But three of twelve on third downs,
- 16:23Speaker 1: there's gonna be conversations and at least whispers from the
- 16:25Speaker 1: outside about, Okay, you know, Russell Wilson's healthy, do we
- 16:29Speaker 1: make that switch? Does he just give you more in
- 16:31Speaker 1: the pass game than what fields can give you. I
- 16:33Speaker 1: just think this is kind of the way the Steelers
- 16:35Speaker 1: are going to play, whether it's with you know, justin
- 16:38Speaker 1: Fields or with Russell Wilson. It's kind of a narrow
- 16:41Speaker 1: path for how they win games. The defense, you know,
- 16:43Speaker 1: has to play great, and they're gonna be in a
- 16:45Speaker 1: lot of these twenty seventeen seventeen thirteen like that's just
- 16:50Speaker 1: how they're going to play right now. They don't have
- 16:52Speaker 1: enough firepower on the outside, no matter who's playing quarterback,
- 16:55Speaker 1: to find their way and play in these dynamic, you know,
- 16:58Speaker 1: crazy shootout type games. They're gonna be these nail biters,
- 17:00Speaker 1: and they've got to find a way to make the play.
- 17:02Speaker 1: At the end of the day, Buck, this described it perfectly.
- 17:05Speaker 1: They had great coverage, they communicated it well on the
- 17:08Speaker 1: game deciding play. They they got beat. But that's the
- 17:12Speaker 1: Pittsburgh Steelers team that we have right now. They're gonna
- 17:15Speaker 1: be playing these games each and every week. So they
- 17:18Speaker 1: just got to find to come out on the on
- 17:19Speaker 1: the winning side of it more often than not. And
- 17:22Speaker 1: that's gonna be the challenge for this Pittsburgh Steelers team.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Let's keep it going here, Let's get to the NFC
- 17:31Speaker 1: West Buck Arizona, San Francisco. I mean, I feel like
- 17:36Speaker 1: I've been starting on the negative side of things with
- 17:38Speaker 1: a lot of these games. So let's let's flip it over.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Let's go to the positive first here at the Arizona
- 17:43Speaker 1: Cardinals two and three. The record doesn't blow you away,
- 17:45Speaker 1: but I still feel like, if you're looking at the
- 17:47Speaker 1: trend line for an organization, I feel like the Cardinals
- 17:49Speaker 1: are headed in the right direction.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I do feel like they're hitting in the right direction,
- 17:53Speaker 2: and the large part of that is due to Caler
- 17:55Speaker 2: Murray is coming back. I love seeing Caler Murray run
- 17:59Speaker 2: the ball. I like seeing him being all the way
- 18:01Speaker 2: back from the knee injury. And I love the fact
- 18:03Speaker 2: that he can wave by by in the middle of
- 18:05Speaker 2: the run when he's forty five yards away from the
- 18:07Speaker 2: touch from the end zone. Right here, go to quarterback thing,
- 18:10Speaker 2: pebe I'm going, I mean like I'm going to the house.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Like that's high school type stuff. But Kyer Murray being
- 18:16Speaker 3: able to do that.
- 18:18Speaker 2: This NFC West is going to be interesting because the
- 18:21Speaker 2: Seattle Seahawks jumped out, they faded a little bit, the
- 18:23Speaker 2: forty nine ers are dealing with the hangover, and here
- 18:25Speaker 2: you have the card and it was just kind of
- 18:27Speaker 2: hanging around. It'd be interesting to see how this plays
- 18:30Speaker 2: out when we get to the stretch run November December.
- 18:33Speaker 5: And you know, for Arizona, I feel like there's still
- 18:35Speaker 5: some pieces of this offense that you know, you're not
- 18:38Speaker 5: seeing consistently, Like, boy, is Marvin Harrison ridden the roller
- 18:41Speaker 5: coaster right this year? You know, goes from very little
- 18:44Speaker 5: impact week one, then goes off in week two and
- 18:47Speaker 5: we've kind of ploateaued a little bit, and then we
- 18:49Speaker 5: go down, you know a little bit in this game
- 18:51Speaker 5: where he catches just two balls on seven targets. And
- 18:54Speaker 5: then you know, we haven't really seen Trey Benson do
- 18:57Speaker 5: hardly anything, and we didn't he didn't touch the ball
- 19:00Speaker 5: this last week. I mean, how many teams have you
- 19:02Speaker 5: guys seen, you know, on a week to week basis
- 19:05Speaker 5: that only handed off to one guy. That's what happened
- 19:08Speaker 5: for the Cardinals in this game, only handed it to
- 19:10Speaker 5: James Connor. Now, obviously, you know when you got Kyler
- 19:13Speaker 5: Murray running it seven times for eighty yards, that changes.
- 19:16Speaker 4: The calculus a little bit too.
- 19:17Speaker 5: But like they did not spell Connor in order to
- 19:20Speaker 5: get somebody else to carry in this game. And then
- 19:22Speaker 5: you know, Benson didn't have any pass game production either.
- 19:24Speaker 5: So I think there's ways that this offense is my
- 19:27Speaker 5: point here, DJ is going to get even better. And
- 19:30Speaker 5: then on the flip side of things for the Niners,
- 19:33Speaker 5: I think it ultimately just comes down to turnovers here.
- 19:35Speaker 5: I mean, Jordan Mason has that fumble, it ends up
- 19:37Speaker 5: costing them. You know, they run twenty one plays in
- 19:40Speaker 5: the red zone and come away with a singular touchdown.
- 19:44Speaker 5: That's got to change if you're going to be a
- 19:45Speaker 5: good team in this league.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Yeah, they just look a little lethargic. You see the
- 19:49Speaker 1: little note on the screen that we're looking at here.
- 19:51Speaker 1: They blew a ten point fourth quarter lead for the
- 19:52Speaker 1: first time. Understand they've been thirty eight and oh so
- 19:56Speaker 1: that's that's something they just don't do. Look, Nick Bosa
- 20:00Speaker 1: makes a big time splash play. They still have all
- 20:03Speaker 1: the ingredients there. I don't I've seen this in other sports. Buck,
- 20:08Speaker 1: I'll get your thoughts on this before we move on
- 20:09Speaker 1: to the next game. But I feel like the Niners
- 20:12Speaker 1: just kind of they kind of feel like that NBA
- 20:15Speaker 1: team that knows they're going to be in the postseason.
- 20:17Speaker 1: And I'm not going to say and even I guess
- 20:19Speaker 1: you could say load management. Obviously McCaffrey is legitimately hurt,
- 20:22Speaker 1: but it just kind of feels like we're just let's
- 20:24Speaker 1: get to the tournament. Like they're kind of they look
- 20:26Speaker 1: almost bored and a little bit magic right now, you
- 20:30Speaker 1: know what I mean. That's what it looks like.
- 20:34Speaker 2: It's hard when you are you've been there, you go
- 20:37Speaker 2: to the pinnacle, but you fall a little short. The
- 20:39Speaker 2: only thing that the Niners want to do is they
- 20:41Speaker 2: want to advantage the loss in the super Bowl. There's
- 20:43Speaker 2: nothing that they can do in the regular season to
- 20:45Speaker 2: bring that filling back. There's nothing to accomplish in the
- 20:47Speaker 2: early part of the postseason. They need to get to
- 20:50Speaker 2: the super Bowl and they need to find a way
- 20:52Speaker 2: to win the Super Bowl, and so it's hard.
- 20:54Speaker 3: For them to stay focused in locked in.
- 20:56Speaker 2: That's the challenge that Kyle Shanahan has because it's not
- 20:59Speaker 2: about the team.
- 21:00Speaker 3: It's not about the talent.
- 21:00Speaker 2: We could talk about some of the execution, but that
- 21:03Speaker 2: execution is due to a lack of focus. This team
- 21:06Speaker 2: is talented enough to be one of the teams in
- 21:08Speaker 2: the end, but can they be focused enough to go
- 21:11Speaker 2: through all of the necessary steps to put them in
- 21:13Speaker 2: a position to be there.
- 21:14Speaker 3: At the end?
- 21:15Speaker 1: YEP, I'm with you, and that's you know, everything's got
- 21:18Speaker 1: to be in its place in the process. You can't
- 21:20Speaker 1: try and skip steps. You still got to do what
- 21:22Speaker 1: you gotta do to get there. So we'll see what
- 21:24Speaker 1: happens with the Niners going forward. They are two and
- 21:26Speaker 1: three along with the Arizona Cardinals. All right, Green Bay
- 21:29Speaker 1: and the Rams in Los Angeles.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Rhtt.
- 21:32Speaker 1: This is a this is a Green Bay team. It
- 21:34Speaker 1: wasn't perfect. It wasn't always pretty, but they get the
- 21:38Speaker 1: W and the Rams are sitting here at one and
- 21:40Speaker 1: four maybe one of the surprises in the NFL considering
- 21:43Speaker 1: how they finished up last year. Obviously injuries a big
- 21:46Speaker 1: part of.
- 21:46Speaker 4: That, yeah, for sure.
- 21:48Speaker 5: And you know, I think anytime you're missing you know,
- 21:50Speaker 5: two out of the three biggest pieces of your offense,
- 21:53Speaker 5: you know, for the majority of the season, you're gonna
- 21:55Speaker 5: you're gonna be.
- 21:55Speaker 4: A little bit of trouble.
- 21:57Speaker 5: And look, I think it's that's part of why you're seeing,
- 21:59Speaker 5: you know, the forty niner struggle too.
- 22:00Speaker 4: I mean, no Christian McCaffrey.
- 22:02Speaker 5: While Jordan Mason has been good, you know, still not
- 22:05Speaker 5: quite as dynamic, you.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Know, as McCaffrey would be.
- 22:07Speaker 5: And I think that that's kind of the same as
- 22:09Speaker 5: you look at Cooper Cup and Pooka and Akua being
- 22:11Speaker 5: out to to out well and Jordan Whittington have been
- 22:14Speaker 5: you know good. I think Whittington as best game as
- 22:16Speaker 5: a pro in my eyes. And this one caught seven
- 22:18Speaker 5: balls for raty nine yards, a couple of those big
- 22:20Speaker 5: as they were on the comeback run here, I mean
- 22:22Speaker 5: they got close here in this game now like this
- 22:24Speaker 5: was they were they had the ball with under a
- 22:27Speaker 5: minute to play, you know, going in for you know,
- 22:29Speaker 5: potential game. When he scored, they're in plus territory and
- 22:32Speaker 5: on fourth down. You know, Stafford just can't quite connect
- 22:35Speaker 5: with Parkinson over the middle like they had their opportunities
- 22:38Speaker 5: in this game. You know, they'll look at the interception
- 22:41Speaker 5: by Stafford. You don't want to have that back. But
- 22:43Speaker 5: they ran seventy five plays like they're you know, they
- 22:46Speaker 5: were running the ball pretty good. I mean, Kyron goes
- 22:48Speaker 5: for over one hundred. It's just they're missing that that
- 22:51Speaker 5: explosive factor, it felt like to me. But I think
- 22:54Speaker 5: the Rams, if they get those guys back, I'm not
- 22:56Speaker 5: counting that team out in any way, shape or form.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Good news on the packer side of things, I mean
- 23:02Speaker 5: Tucker Craft stud right, I mean I thought Musgrave was
- 23:05Speaker 5: going to kind of be the guy to follow this
- 23:07Speaker 5: year at the tight ends spot Craft.
- 23:09Speaker 1: That's exactly where I was going. It was exactly where
- 23:11Speaker 1: I was going because I was gonna get the Bucky
- 23:13Speaker 1: on this because we've talked about this so many times.
- 23:15Speaker 1: This was the second round pick and Musgrave. Then you
- 23:18Speaker 1: come back and you get Craft in the third round.
- 23:20Speaker 1: You double up at a position, and we talked about
- 23:22Speaker 1: this every single draft after the draft. How many times
- 23:25Speaker 1: have we seen the double up at the position the
- 23:27Speaker 1: second guy ends up being better than the first guy.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Buck, Yeah, I mean we see it time and time again.
- 23:32Speaker 2: And it's one of the things Baltimore has done it.
- 23:35Speaker 2: We saw them do it, I think, Isaiah. Yeah, I mean,
- 23:40Speaker 2: they've done it time and time again. But for the
- 23:42Speaker 2: Green Bay Packers, look has worked out and Kraft being
- 23:46Speaker 2: able to make plays down the field. You have musk
- 23:49Speaker 2: Grave there, you have all these young receivers there. Now,
- 23:53Speaker 2: we did get our first sound of trouble in paradise
- 23:56Speaker 2: from your Dobbs gets suspended for the game because he's.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Not happy with the touches. That's what you have.
- 24:00Speaker 2: When you got a bunch of guys that I won't
- 24:02Speaker 2: say are similarly talented, but you got a bunch of
- 24:05Speaker 2: guys ad buying to be the top option in the
- 24:07Speaker 2: pass game, you go have some of that competitive stuff
- 24:10Speaker 2: that leads to it. But you gotta love the diversity
- 24:12Speaker 2: that the Green Bay Packers have by having so many
- 24:15Speaker 2: weapons on the perimeter. They just need to figure out
- 24:18Speaker 2: which one is a hot hand each week.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Yeah, No, it's uh, it's the pecking order there is
- 24:24Speaker 1: going to be fascinating to follow throughout the whole season.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I think that's a very intriguing storyline with the Green
- 24:28Speaker 1: Bay Packer.
- 24:28Speaker 5: To get the ball to Jayden Reid right to me,
- 24:30Speaker 5: that's that's there, that's the most the mostynamic.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he's our most dynamic guy. All right, it's uh,
- 24:37Speaker 1: it's time the cruise all the way over to London
- 24:41Speaker 1: because this is where we had a very interesting game
- 24:43Speaker 1: between the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets, a
- 24:48Speaker 1: game the Vikings were in control of early and just
- 24:50Speaker 1: kind of did nothing in the second half, held on
- 24:53Speaker 1: and got enough turnovers there from Aaron Rodgers to get
- 24:55Speaker 1: out of there. With the wind. The Vikings are five
- 24:57Speaker 1: and zero red. It wasn't always pretty what the Minnesota
- 25:01Speaker 1: Vikings did in this game, but again, the defense just
- 25:03Speaker 1: continues to make plays and generate turnovers and negative plays.
- 25:08Speaker 4: That was certainly the case early on.
- 25:09Speaker 5: Is it helped them build the lead, right, they build
- 25:11Speaker 5: the lead, and then they played well with it and
- 25:14Speaker 5: you know, came back and got the necessary field goals
- 25:17Speaker 5: to remain on top in the game. You know, after
- 25:19Speaker 5: but it's all about building the lead, and that allows
- 25:22Speaker 5: you know the way that they can play that defense.
- 25:24Speaker 5: You know with Brian floor is you playing that defense
- 25:27Speaker 5: when they've got a double digit lead. I don't want
- 25:30Speaker 5: to be that quarterback. And I think Aaron Rodgers Buckey
- 25:32Speaker 5: kind of figured that out. He was taking some hits
- 25:34Speaker 5: in this game, made some bad throws in this game,
- 25:36Speaker 5: bad decisions in this game, uncharacteristic of what.
- 25:39Speaker 4: We've seen for the majority of his career.
- 25:41Speaker 5: I think that's kind of what this Brian Flores defense
- 25:44Speaker 5: has proved to do for team.
- 25:46Speaker 4: For quarterback says, kind of humble them a little bit.
- 25:49Speaker 2: What do you think, Oh, absolutely, a very humbling experience
- 25:53Speaker 2: for Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers with three interceptions. We talked
- 25:57Speaker 2: about fifty plus pass attempts, and.
- 25:59Speaker 3: He just looked. He never looked comfortable.
- 26:01Speaker 2: And I know as an aging quarterback you don't like
- 26:04Speaker 2: getting hit. But the one thing that the Minnesota Vikings
- 26:06Speaker 2: are going to do, they are going to hit your
- 26:08Speaker 2: quarterback because they're going to do enough simulated pressures to
- 26:11Speaker 2: go with their real pressures. Dead on occasion, they gonna
- 26:13Speaker 2: get free runners. But that's the stuff Van Ginko dropping
- 26:18Speaker 2: out they play. They put so much pressure on you,
- 26:21Speaker 2: not physically but mentally because you just never know where
- 26:24Speaker 2: these defenders are going to pop up out the ground
- 26:26Speaker 2: and end up in your passing.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Like on the on the other side of things, by
- 26:30Speaker 1: the way you go over to the Jets, Garrett Wilson,
- 26:32Speaker 1: I believe the target number was twenty two thirteen. It
- 26:36Speaker 1: was one hundred and one yards targets. But it's all
- 26:41Speaker 1: all the production is still quick hitters, it's slants, it's
- 26:44Speaker 1: now routes, it's just getting the ball to them right away.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I still feel like they're missing opportunities with him to
- 26:51Speaker 1: get something more down the field and let him show
- 26:54Speaker 1: all that he can do. I mean, I was glad
- 26:56Speaker 1: they're feeding him a bunch of Alanizzard still gets a
- 26:58Speaker 1: ton of targets. Mike Williams has not been either healthy
- 27:02Speaker 1: or a fit because it doesn't get many many targets
- 27:04Speaker 1: and they're not on the same page. On the crucial
- 27:07Speaker 1: interception at the end of the game where he's late
- 27:08Speaker 1: to turn his head, Rogers tries to throw a back
- 27:11Speaker 1: shoulder to him. That just it hasn't been a fit
- 27:13Speaker 1: there for Mike Williams. With Aaron Rodgers. Go ahead, rit, Yeah.
- 27:17Speaker 5: Just real quick on this, Like if we're talking about
- 27:19Speaker 5: DeVante Adams coming in here, like what is he what
- 27:22Speaker 5: does he do that's going to make this offensive?
- 27:25Speaker 1: Errett Wilson, That's what he does.
- 27:29Speaker 5: Garrett Wilson's targets get get drastically diminished, and everybody's still
- 27:32Speaker 5: running slants.
- 27:33Speaker 4: I don't know, does he make them more dynamic?
- 27:37Speaker 3: Maybe?
- 27:37Speaker 4: Maybe then you can say Wilson down the field more.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I did a breakdown on their kind of issues not
- 27:43Speaker 1: being on the same page with Garrett Wilson and with
- 27:45Speaker 1: with a rod and Buck you can you can jump
- 27:48Speaker 1: in on this because like just some of the little
- 27:51Speaker 1: the Aaron let me start here. What made Aaron Rodgers
- 27:55Speaker 1: the incredible quarterback that he is and the best quarterback
- 27:58Speaker 1: for a long stretch of time. Was it free? We
- 28:00Speaker 1: had two schools of quarterbacks. You had these strong arm
- 28:04Speaker 1: you know, dynamic arm footballs and tight windows power arms,
- 28:08Speaker 1: and then you had the anticipation, timing touch throwers. You
- 28:12Speaker 1: were a quarterback, you were in one of those two camps.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I think he's the first one who was a plus
- 28:17Speaker 1: plus at both, so he could he could throw with anticipation.
- 28:21Speaker 1: But then still had rare, rare velocity and just a
- 28:25Speaker 1: power arm to go along with it. But he plays
- 28:28Speaker 1: the game with anticipation. And when you're trying to throw
- 28:30Speaker 1: an out route and Garrett Wilson gives you a little
- 28:32Speaker 1: extra at the top, well, he doesn't want you to
- 28:34Speaker 1: do that. He wants to throw it when his backfitt
- 28:36Speaker 1: hits the ground and that ball has been skipping out
- 28:38Speaker 1: of bounds early in the season, even on some of
- 28:41Speaker 1: the slant routes. It just didn't look like they were
- 28:43Speaker 1: on the same page about the angle and how flat
- 28:45Speaker 1: he wants to throw the ball. The Niner game to
- 28:48Speaker 1: start the season, on the big fourth down, They're not
- 28:50Speaker 1: really on the same page there. So I think with
- 28:53Speaker 1: Devanta Adams, you can say, Okay, well, Garrett Wilson's more
- 28:55Speaker 1: talented DeVante at this point in time in their careers,
- 28:58Speaker 1: and Garrett Wilson's on the ascension, Davante might be on
- 29:01Speaker 1: the down side. But I think with Aaron Rodgers is
- 29:03Speaker 1: sitting there saying, yeah, but if we read the same
- 29:05Speaker 1: if we speak the same language and read out at
- 29:07Speaker 1: the same point book, then the production will come along
- 29:10Speaker 1: with it. I'm just saying I think Davante. If he
- 29:13Speaker 1: goes there, he'll help a rod. But Buck, you've been
- 29:16Speaker 1: around it a long time and you've been in that
- 29:17Speaker 1: position room. That's not going to go over well Garrett Wilson.
- 29:20Speaker 1: That's just my outside in perspective.
- 29:22Speaker 2: One hundred percent, because I'm going to tell you a
- 29:26Speaker 2: lot of my opinion has been shaped watching the Netflix
- 29:29Speaker 2: show Receiver, where you had a chance to see DeVante Adams,
- 29:32Speaker 2: and Davante Adams didn't appear to be great when he
- 29:35Speaker 2: wasn't getting the ball. And so now you bring him
- 29:37Speaker 2: into a wide receiver room where you already have people
- 29:40Speaker 2: complaining a little bit about the offense stylistically, not getting
- 29:44Speaker 2: touches and all those things, and you also have a
- 29:47Speaker 2: young receiver in Garrett Wilson, who was an offensive rookie year,
- 29:49Speaker 2: who feels like he is the number one.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Well, what does that do to the marquis.
- 29:53Speaker 2: If Davante Adams comes in? Do they share the marquee?
- 29:56Speaker 2: Does DeVante Adams can see and become the number two?
- 30:00Speaker 2: Lot of mouths defeat a lot of egos to stroke
- 30:02Speaker 2: It would be a difficult situation to manage if you're
- 30:05Speaker 2: Robert Salad, because you've already are wrestling with things with
- 30:08Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Now you bring in another one of.
- 30:10Speaker 2: His guys, I just think it becomes very contentious in
- 30:13Speaker 2: that wide receiver room.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Anything on that one rhet.
- 30:17Speaker 5: I mean, that's kind of the way I was feeling,
- 30:20Speaker 5: Like what ultimately, though, what does this do if DeVante
- 30:24Speaker 5: comes in?
- 30:24Speaker 4: Does this make them a more dynamic offense?
- 30:27Speaker 5: Or is it just a shift of the targets and
- 30:31Speaker 5: maybe there's a little bit more efficiency there because of
- 30:34Speaker 5: the comfortability and the relationship between those two. You know,
- 30:38Speaker 5: we'll see, but as of right now, like they're just
- 30:41Speaker 5: they're still missing.
- 30:42Speaker 4: I mean they weren't.
- 30:43Speaker 5: They obviously couldn't run football, but when you're down seventeen
- 30:46Speaker 5: early on, I know that makes it a little bit
- 30:48Speaker 5: more difficult.
- 30:48Speaker 4: But right now I feel pretty dang good. If I'm
- 30:50Speaker 4: a Minnesota Vikings.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Fan, yep. Now they're five and zero. Wasn't their best performance,
- 30:54Speaker 1: but they got to win. A happy flight back home
- 30:56Speaker 1: to Minneapolis. Let's get to Bucky's game here Indianapolis Jacksonville,
- 31:00Speaker 1: a game that the Jags one thousand percent had to have.
- 31:04Speaker 1: So we have a little nug here buck on a
- 31:08Speaker 1: receiver that we've been talking about for a while now,
- 31:10Speaker 1: Brian Thomas junior at LSU, who's been awesome, But you
- 31:13Speaker 1: look at what he's on pace for. He's on pace
- 31:15Speaker 1: for a top five season in team history, seventy nine
- 31:18Speaker 1: point four receiving yards per game. I wanted to get
- 31:21Speaker 1: to you because I haven't asked you this before, but
- 31:24Speaker 1: Jimmy Smith, what he did with the Jags, it's a
- 31:28Speaker 1: big name with what he did there. But what I'm
- 31:30Speaker 1: seeing from this dude, I'm like, this feels like that
- 31:32Speaker 1: kind of trajectory that he's on right now.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Okay, DJ, I shouldn't do this, but I'm gonna tell
- 31:38Speaker 2: you because I've had this conversation with two of my
- 31:40Speaker 2: guys on the radio broadcast, Tony Baseli and Jeff Logoman,
- 31:43Speaker 2: and Tony.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Biselli is outraged.
- 31:45Speaker 2: But I already said, reserve a little spot on the
- 31:48Speaker 2: top of the stadium for BTJ. There's a little spot
- 31:51Speaker 2: in the far right corner that is vacant, and I
- 31:54Speaker 2: think it's right beside Mark Brunell. I think there's a
- 31:57Speaker 2: spot for BTJ to go in there. He is, outside
- 32:00Speaker 2: of Jimmy Smith, the most talented wide receiver that the
- 32:03Speaker 2: Jaguars have had.
- 32:04Speaker 3: And I'm gonna say this.
- 32:05Speaker 2: I know there was conversation about Malik Neighbors and the
- 32:07Speaker 2: dog that he has. BTJ has it. It's just in
- 32:11Speaker 2: a quiet fashion. His explosiveness, his acceleration with the ball
- 32:15Speaker 2: in the air, he is already become. They haven't said it,
- 32:19Speaker 2: but he's the unofficial number one receiver. And so with
- 32:22Speaker 2: him and Christian Kirk and the big plays that are coming,
- 32:26Speaker 2: Trevor Lawrence was on his game because the Indianapolis Coast
- 32:29Speaker 2: allowed him to get into a rhythm. Ryan Thomas Junior
- 32:33Speaker 2: is everything that they hoped he would be and more.
- 32:36Speaker 2: This dude is a superstar and it is happening right
- 32:39Speaker 2: in front of their ODZ and we're only five games
- 32:40Speaker 2: into the season.
- 32:42Speaker 5: I got a little little bit of the Jordan Jefferson
- 32:44Speaker 5: or the Justin Jefferson.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Excuse me, yes, Jamar Chasen and Justerson come out exactly.
- 32:50Speaker 5: And now Neighbors and Thomas, like, you know, if you're
- 32:52Speaker 5: the Jags at that point, you're like, you know, is
- 32:55Speaker 5: Thomas gonna make it?
- 32:56Speaker 4: Are we gonna get it?
- 32:57Speaker 2: All?
- 32:57Speaker 3: Right?
- 32:58Speaker 4: Let's go, let's go.
- 33:00Speaker 5: They're totally probably sitting there totally fine with the way
- 33:02Speaker 5: that that thing played out as it was unfolding, you know,
- 33:05Speaker 5: hoping he would get there. I think it's just awesome
- 33:07Speaker 5: to watch just that dynamic element that he had to
- 33:10Speaker 5: that offense just looks so much different than anything we
- 33:13Speaker 5: have seen Bucky from this offense since Trevor Lawrence has
- 33:17Speaker 5: been there at minimum.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Yeah, uh, Bucky real quick? Does this calm the waters
- 33:23Speaker 1: a little bit? Because the Trevor Lawrence criticism and heat,
- 33:27Speaker 1: it was getting a little hot in the kitchen.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Man, it was getting a little hot in the kitchen.
- 33:31Speaker 3: And here's what I would say.
- 33:33Speaker 2: One, it was Trevor Lawrence's birthday on Sunday, So happy birthday, Trevor,
- 33:35Speaker 2: Happy twenty fifth birthday.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Was able to cupcake after you win.
- 33:40Speaker 2: But I think the Indianapolis Coats, the style of the
- 33:42Speaker 2: defense that Gus Bradley played was the perfect thing for
- 33:45Speaker 2: what Trevor Lawrence needed. DJ Rihtt like, well, I don't know.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Ritt wasn't really a basketball player. DJ was more of
- 33:51Speaker 2: a basketball player. But DJ can get this analogy right now,
- 33:55Speaker 2: because I don't think I was played basketball.
- 33:57Speaker 3: I thought we talked about.
- 33:57Speaker 4: That or gets paid.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Right, But DJ, you remember how you start out basketball
- 34:05Speaker 2: practice where you may do some form shots mike and
- 34:07Speaker 2: drill layups. Then you moved back like the Steve offered
- 34:11Speaker 2: video right like historic clause America croud.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I had that vhright right.
- 34:15Speaker 2: So when you look at Gus Bradley, they want to
- 34:17Speaker 2: play like umbrella coverage.
- 34:19Speaker 3: They don't want to give anything.
- 34:20Speaker 2: So what if forced Trevor to do was to take
- 34:23Speaker 2: a lot of layups early, so he completed like ten
- 34:25Speaker 2: of his first eleven passes and then.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Lor and behold when the deep.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Shot came open, because he was hot, he dropped it
- 34:32Speaker 2: in there. Whereas before he was trying to manufacture the
- 34:34Speaker 2: D ball. Now it just happened. And because he was
- 34:37Speaker 2: in rhythm because he had seen a couple of layups
- 34:39Speaker 2: go through, he then was able to step back and
- 34:41Speaker 2: knock down a couple three points to betj.
- 34:43Speaker 5: Ond On, not only do we have a new wide
- 34:45Speaker 5: receiver one, we would do RB one in Jacksonville.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Buck was a year early on that one. But that's
- 34:51Speaker 1: like the band that you're telling me, like, oh, this
- 34:53Speaker 1: is this great band, it doesn't hit for that was
- 34:57Speaker 1: telling me about Tank Bigsby last year. Unfortunately, I drafted
- 34:59Speaker 1: on my fantasy team. Last year he got me nothing,
- 35:02Speaker 1: and this year I don't. And every time I look
- 35:04Speaker 1: over at a game, I see him busting a long run.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Yeah, this second, we can row. Last week against the Texas,
- 35:11Speaker 2: he had a fifty four yard run. This week he
- 35:13Speaker 2: pops a sixty five yarder and talking to Tank after
- 35:16Speaker 2: the game, he talked about the games slowing down and
- 35:19Speaker 2: because it's slowed down, he now can make moves.
- 35:22Speaker 3: He gave me the description.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Last year it was like being on the porch and
- 35:26Speaker 2: flies just buzzing around your face. In terms of the
- 35:28Speaker 2: way guys then defends were coming. It was fast or whatever.
- 35:32Speaker 2: But now it's slowed down, he's able to do it.
- 35:34Speaker 2: And I will say this because there's room for him
- 35:36Speaker 2: and Travis Dtienn. But Travis Dtienne is more of the
- 35:40Speaker 2: change of paceback, more of the guy to get on
- 35:42Speaker 2: the edges and catch the ball out of the backfield. Tank
- 35:44Speaker 2: Bigsby is your RB one in terms of the physicality
- 35:47Speaker 2: and toughness and doing the dirty stuff between the tackles.
- 35:49Speaker 2: It's working for the Jags, and it's funny because the
- 35:52Speaker 2: young guys are kind of carrying them while the old
- 35:55Speaker 2: guys are either dealing with injuries or trying to find
- 35:57Speaker 2: their way back into the line.
- 36:00Speaker 1: I'm looking at my notes on Tank Bigsby five to
- 36:02Speaker 1: one five, so almost six foot two ten ran four
- 36:06Speaker 1: five six. I had thirty catches, aggressive runner, bounce and burst.
- 36:10Speaker 1: He runs through contact, he has stop start quicks. He's
- 36:13Speaker 1: excellent after contact. He's a fun player to watch u
- 36:17Speaker 1: and I would echo that after watching what he did yesterday.
- 36:19Speaker 1: That was a very fun player to watch for the
- 36:22Speaker 1: Jacksonville Jaguars. And if you need fantasy football advice, listen
- 36:25Speaker 1: to Bucky today and it'll help you. Now, that's that's
- 36:29Speaker 1: my advice. It's early, Christmas comes early, that's all right.
- 36:39Speaker 1: We had the Panthers and the Chicago Bears. Obviously, organization
- 36:42Speaker 1: is going to be linked together because of the trade.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Chicago Bears waited on a quarterback a year. They got
- 36:47Speaker 1: a huge haule. Carolina Panthers got Bryce Young, who's already
- 36:50Speaker 1: been benched in year number two. You had Caleb Williams
- 36:53Speaker 1: go to the Chicago Bears with a plethora of picks
- 36:56Speaker 1: and players that were acquired because of the trade. We've
- 37:00Speaker 1: got Bryce Young going to Carolina who'd been actually had
- 37:04Speaker 1: pulled talent out of that building in order to acquire you.
- 37:07Speaker 1: So that's another conversation for another day. But based off
- 37:10Speaker 1: of this game, I think Bear Bears fans have to
- 37:13Speaker 1: be excited. It's not just this game. When you look
- 37:15Speaker 1: at Caleb Williams with three hundred plus yards, two touchdowns,
- 37:18Speaker 1: no picks in a game that the first Bears rookie
- 37:20Speaker 1: ever to do that, I think Bears fans have to
- 37:23Speaker 1: be excited because Buck, I'm going to give you a
- 37:26Speaker 1: saucy nug. This is a good saucy nug. It's going
- 37:28Speaker 1: to tell you why they should see.
- 37:29Speaker 4: Let's get saucy.
- 37:30Speaker 1: We're going to double up on the saucy nug. When
- 37:33Speaker 1: you look at Kayleb Williams the start to the season
- 37:35Speaker 1: and you look at what he did, you know, right
- 37:37Speaker 1: out of the shoot, like okay, everybody's panicking. Everybody's freaking
- 37:41Speaker 1: out because of the way things started. It's a it's
- 37:44Speaker 1: a little bit slow, was it? The first ten first
- 37:47Speaker 1: ten quarters? Five touchdown passes, zero touchdowns in the first
- 37:52Speaker 1: ten quarters played. Oh no, sorry, I've read that backwards.
- 37:56Speaker 1: My saucy I just screwed up my saucy nug. That's terrible.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Five touchdowns.
- 38:00Speaker 4: Now your nugs are just soggy.
- 38:02Speaker 1: It was my nug. I sent in my nug in
- 38:04Speaker 1: one format and then and.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Producer Drew shaped it.
- 38:12Speaker 1: But my nug sauce, it was all over the place
- 38:14Speaker 1: right there. Anyways, it was I really jacked up our
- 38:19Speaker 1: saucy nug right there.
- 38:21Speaker 4: Producer Drew is just laying on the pavement over here,
- 38:24Speaker 4: just got me.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Let me do this again, give me? Can I give over?
- 38:33Speaker 1: I just go to do it. I'm gonna read off
- 38:35Speaker 1: my own notes and not go off of that graphic.
- 38:38Speaker 1: This is off Tony from research. Tony deserves credit for
- 38:42Speaker 1: the saucy nugs. You firsts fifty seven percent completion percentage,
- 38:46Speaker 1: no touchdowns, three picks. That's the first ten quarters. The
- 38:49Speaker 1: last ten quarters seventy percent completion percentage, five touchdowns, one pick.
- 38:55Speaker 1: So long, story longer. Caleb Williams is playing really good football,
- 38:58Speaker 1: and it's not just in this ball game. Buck, there's
- 39:01Speaker 1: your saucy nut.
- 39:02Speaker 3: No, that is a very saucy nut. He has found
- 39:05Speaker 3: his rhythm and it was right on time.
- 39:07Speaker 2: After we watched him throw, I would say too many
- 39:09Speaker 2: times against the Indianapolis Coast, they found a way to
- 39:12Speaker 2: kind of rhyl him in.
- 39:13Speaker 3: He's doing a better job of playing on time, even
- 39:16Speaker 3: though he still kind of peers from the pocket.
- 39:18Speaker 2: He's done a better job of playing with the paces
- 39:20Speaker 2: in discipline that we said was gonna be a challenge
- 39:22Speaker 2: for him and the playmakers that he has around him,
- 39:25Speaker 2: they will make plays.
- 39:27Speaker 3: He just has to stay within the system and allow
- 39:28Speaker 3: the system to work.
- 39:29Speaker 5: For Yeah, boy, DJ Moore was special in this game too,
- 39:33Speaker 5: which obviously meant I'm sure a little bit of something
- 39:35Speaker 5: to him having come over as the primary player piece
- 39:38Speaker 5: in that trade.
- 39:40Speaker 4: But yeah, I mean those throw I think it was
- 39:42Speaker 4: the first.
- 39:42Speaker 5: One actually, the one in the back of the end
- 39:44Speaker 5: zone as he's streaking down the field from Caleb was
- 39:46Speaker 5: just perfectly placed on the money. And we're still getting
- 39:50Speaker 5: some of that elite like you know, pocket craftiness where
- 39:54Speaker 5: he's you know, maybe only getting four or five yards,
- 39:56Speaker 5: but it would have been a sack otherwise. And so
- 39:58Speaker 5: when when you can because this is what we saw
- 40:00Speaker 5: in the preseason, right it was you know, it was
- 40:03Speaker 5: minoring and spectacular, and it was majoring in scheme like
- 40:06Speaker 5: you like you talked about Dj, and that's that's kind
- 40:09Speaker 5: of what we've started to see going back to that
- 40:11Speaker 5: timeframe that you read out from Tony's research piece there,
- 40:15Speaker 5: so I think it's all coming together.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and pockets were clean. It was they had clean
- 40:20Speaker 1: pockets for him to operate at. It's amazing how much
- 40:22Speaker 1: better you look as a quarterback when you don't have
- 40:24Speaker 1: chaos around you. They were able to limit the chaos
- 40:27Speaker 1: and he played at a really high level. The guy
- 40:29Speaker 1: who was picked right after him, by the way, continues
- 40:31Speaker 1: to just be on a roll this time, literally on
- 40:34Speaker 1: a roll with how Jade and Daniels was running. Buck
- 40:36Speaker 1: This was this was a clinic of taking yards with
- 40:39Speaker 1: your legs, extending plays and the accuracy. Still, I know,
- 40:43Speaker 1: the numbers you know from a completion percentage don't match
- 40:45Speaker 1: what he'd been doing, but still made some unbelievable throws
- 40:47Speaker 1: in this game.
- 40:49Speaker 2: He absolutely did dj I used to bristle, that is comparison,
- 40:51Speaker 2: because you know, doing the run up to the draft,
- 40:53Speaker 2: we love to make comparisons.
- 40:56Speaker 3: Between Hey, Jade and Daniels reminds you of.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Who, and the conversation would always lean towards Lamar Jackson.
- 41:01Speaker 2: I was like, I mean kind of, but not really
- 41:03Speaker 2: because you never really saw him run like that, but
- 41:06Speaker 2: something has happened when he's got to the National Football League.
- 41:08Speaker 3: He is an unstoppable runner.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Who also doesn't take shots, but has the ability to
- 41:13Speaker 2: do a lot of stuff that Lamar Jackson we saw
- 41:16Speaker 2: du versus Cincinnati and starts dealing from the pocket. The
- 41:19Speaker 2: Washington Commander's offense is challenging to defend because they have
- 41:23Speaker 2: a dual threat quarterback who can absolutely torture with his
- 41:26Speaker 2: arm or he can outrun you with his feet. They
- 41:29Speaker 2: are very difficult to stop and he's still finding a
- 41:31Speaker 2: way to get the ball into the hands of these
- 41:33Speaker 2: playmakers on the perimeter.
- 41:35Speaker 5: Yeah, Daniels now has more rushing yards than any rookie
- 41:39Speaker 5: quarterback in their first five games since nineteen fifty. The
- 41:42Speaker 5: other guys do you consider there, Steve Young, Kyler Murray,
- 41:47Speaker 5: I'm think Culpepper and Randall cunning He's got a little
- 41:51Speaker 5: randal in him, like he's got a little bit of that,
- 41:53Speaker 5: maybe not quite as big.
- 41:54Speaker 4: But you know, I do have a saucy nug for
- 41:57Speaker 4: you guys.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Better be careful. I got myself in trouble with the
- 42:02Speaker 1: last sauce. Make it a good saucy nug.
- 42:05Speaker 4: Well, it's good.
- 42:06Speaker 5: I suppose if you're a Commander's fan, if you're a
- 42:08Speaker 5: Browns fan, you're not gonna love it. Cleveland has now
- 42:13Speaker 5: had fewer than three hundred total yards and fewer than
- 42:18Speaker 5: twenty points in every game this year. This is the
- 42:23Speaker 5: first time Cleveland has done that since nineteen ninety nine,
- 42:27Speaker 5: when I believe they were just getting back in the
- 42:30Speaker 5: league as an expansion came back, and so we've gone
- 42:34Speaker 5: from twenty five years later or what back to square
- 42:38Speaker 5: one here?
- 42:39Speaker 4: Is that what it's feeling like?
- 42:40Speaker 3: Yikes, that's unbelieve.
- 42:43Speaker 1: By the way, uh, before we get to the next game,
- 42:46Speaker 1: bonus saucy nug one and oh against Dante Culpepper in college,
- 42:49Speaker 1: I'm just saying, I'm just going that out there. Let's
- 42:51Speaker 1: go roll roll, Let's yeah, come on, come on, let's go.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Let's go to bow Nicks. I always feel like I
- 43:00Speaker 1: give Maybe it's just the David Morris connection, but I
- 43:02Speaker 1: always feel like I give Rhet the floor first when
- 43:04Speaker 1: it comes to bo Nicks. Go ahead, A big win
- 43:07Speaker 1: for all.
- 43:08Speaker 4: I got on bo Nicks today.
- 43:09Speaker 5: All I got on bo Nix is he is operating
- 43:12Speaker 5: at the podium postgame like a savvy veteran Okay, there
- 43:16Speaker 5: was obviously a moment in the game where you know,
- 43:19Speaker 5: he and Sean Payton had some things to say to
- 43:22Speaker 5: each other, and he was asked about it postgame and
- 43:26Speaker 5: he said, yeah, uh, he told me he loved me.
- 43:29Speaker 5: I told him I love you too, And I don't
- 43:33Speaker 5: know if love was the four letter word that was
- 43:36Speaker 5: actually used. But that's a dude that understands like that's
- 43:41Speaker 5: a mature guy, right, who understands h Like it's easier
- 43:44Speaker 5: to answer that question when you end up having a victory,
- 43:46Speaker 5: right like he did. But the first guy in team
- 43:49Speaker 5: history to win it three win in three straight starts,
- 43:51Speaker 5: and he comes out wearing the Lway jersey too at
- 43:53Speaker 5: the podium like, come on, I don't any better than
- 43:55Speaker 5: that man. Our buddy David Morris raised him up right there.
- 43:59Speaker 1: There you go, there go. Buck helped me out with
- 44:02Speaker 1: some terminology. What are we calling that little swing screen
- 44:06Speaker 1: or whatever where you've got a lead blocker out there
- 44:08Speaker 1: that everybody didn't feel like in collegen and the NFL
- 44:10Speaker 1: is running right now.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know, but it looks like a tall suite,
- 44:14Speaker 2: but it counts as a past. It's been a great
- 44:15Speaker 2: play for so many guys in college and see.
- 44:18Speaker 1: I feel like I was seeing in a bunch every week.
- 44:20Speaker 2: I mean, look, I saw the Miami Dolphins do it
- 44:24Speaker 2: over and over and over again. It's a cheap way
- 44:25Speaker 2: to get completions and yards on the perimeter. I just
- 44:30Speaker 2: love bo Nicks in terms of like how he's handling
- 44:32Speaker 2: the stuff with Sean Payton. Because Sean Payton came grind
- 44:35Speaker 2: on quarterbacks. We saw him last year grind Russell Wilson
- 44:39Speaker 2: to the point where it was almost uncomfortable to watch
- 44:42Speaker 2: his interactions. But Bo Nicks being able to fire back
- 44:45Speaker 2: at Sean Payton's to me shows me he's comfortable in
- 44:48Speaker 2: his own skin. He's very comfortable with the leadership responsibilities
- 44:51Speaker 2: that it has for the team, and his confidence is growing.
- 44:55Speaker 2: I didn't think that the Broncos would be sitting here
- 44:56Speaker 2: at three and two and just beginning to maybe make
- 44:59Speaker 2: a bit of a run. But their defense has been
- 45:01Speaker 2: good and the quarterback has been managing the game and making.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Enough plays to keep his team right on track.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt Bo Neecks finding a way to the
- 45:10Speaker 1: winner circle three and two for the Denver Broncos. Chean
- 45:13Speaker 1: Payton and company. I want to throw one more rookie
- 45:16Speaker 1: note out there from the Giants Seattle game. I know
- 45:18Speaker 1: people are losing their minds on the block field goal
- 45:21Speaker 1: and everything that goes along with that. We don't have
- 45:23Speaker 1: time for that today, but I do want to give
- 45:24Speaker 1: Tyrone Tracy a little love. A rookie hundred and twenty
- 45:26Speaker 1: nine rushing yards, most by a rookie this season. When
- 45:29Speaker 1: I watched it, it was impressive just in terms of
- 45:34Speaker 1: just being decisive. You saw some duo runs vision downhill.
- 45:39Speaker 1: I thought he had a nice little blend of power there.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Stumbled on a couple of them, but so find a
- 45:43Speaker 1: way to kind of maintain his balance working through there.
- 45:45Speaker 1: It wasn't like a solo mission where he was just
- 45:48Speaker 1: making things happen on his own. They blocked it up well.
- 45:50Speaker 1: The Giants, actually, I think are a better run blocking
- 45:53Speaker 1: team than they are a pass protection team. But still, nonetheless, Buck,
- 45:57Speaker 1: you get a rookie out there, Tyrone Tracy getting over
- 45:59Speaker 1: a buck. I feel like we give him a little love.
- 46:01Speaker 2: We should give him a little love because I think
- 46:03Speaker 2: Rhett didn't. We discovered Tyrone Tracy at the East West
- 46:05Speaker 2: Rine game. Did we talk about the producer? I believe
- 46:08Speaker 2: we did the wide receiver turn running back who is
- 46:11Speaker 2: now putting on for his city with the Giants.
- 46:14Speaker 3: You gotta like that.
- 46:15Speaker 2: And for the Giants it comes at the right time
- 46:17Speaker 2: because all the conversation around Daniel Jones was about him
- 46:20Speaker 2: not being able to carry the offense. And he can't
- 46:22Speaker 2: carry the offense, but if he gets some help in
- 46:24Speaker 2: the run a game and is able to do some
- 46:26Speaker 2: other things with the defense playing well, he's proven that
- 46:28Speaker 2: he can get his team to the win a circle.
- 46:30Speaker 2: For them to do it without my league neighbors, very impressive.
- 46:34Speaker 2: Hats off to Brian day Ball. Everyone at Poured Dirt
- 46:36Speaker 2: on the New York Jazz said they were done. They
- 46:38Speaker 2: found a way to do it, and Tracy played a
- 46:40Speaker 2: big role in it.
- 46:42Speaker 4: Yeah, he sure did.
- 46:43Speaker 5: And the last thing that I'll give you there on
- 46:44Speaker 5: that is, there was a college coach who told Tyrone
- 46:47Speaker 5: Tracy in high school that he should be a running back.
- 46:51Speaker 5: And do you know who his position coach was his
- 46:53Speaker 5: final year at Purdue when he made the switch, that
- 46:56Speaker 5: same coach, and it's obviously worked out pretty well for him.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that's good advice, much better advice than Buck told
- 47:04Speaker 1: me way too early to draft Tank Dell for my
- 47:05Speaker 1: fantasy team. You're late on that one. You're late on
- 47:10Speaker 1: that Bigsby, not Tank Dell, wrong Tank all right. By
- 47:14Speaker 1: the way, enjoyed the Saucy Nugs addition to the to
- 47:17Speaker 1: the program this week. Okay. By the way, if you're
- 47:19Speaker 1: watching games on Sunday, Senate, send it to me, send it,
- 47:25Speaker 1: send us a saucy nug. We'll get it in there.
- 47:27Speaker 1: That's gonna do it for us. Today, we'll talk about
- 47:28Speaker 1: the Monday night matchup and what that looks like. Uh.
- 47:31Speaker 1: And we have the recap for you tomorrow on mobi sticks.
- 47:33Speaker 1: We'll see then
