Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackey. It's time for us to go
• 0:02
Speaker 1: to God in prayer. And as always, I invite you
• 0:04
Speaker 1: to join along with me in prayer. Sometimes we need
• 0:07
Speaker 1: to be reminded of who we are, that we are
• 0:09
Speaker 1: a royal priesthood and a chosen generation. Father God, in
• 0:13
Speaker 1: the mighty, matchless, and powerful name of Jesus. We come
• 0:16
Speaker 1: before you today with grateful hearts, humbled by your love,
• 0:19
Speaker 1: humbled by your grace and your mercy and the incredible
• 0:23
Speaker 1: identity you've given us through Jesus Christ. Lord, today, remind
• 0:26
Speaker 1: us of who we are in you. Your word declares
• 0:29
Speaker 1: in 1 Peter 2, 9, but you are a chosen generation,
• 0:32
Speaker 1: a royal priesthood, a holy nation of peculiar people that
• 0:36
Speaker 1: you should show forth the praises of him who has
• 0:39
Speaker 1: called you out of darkness into the marvelous light. Father,
• 0:42
Speaker 1: let that word settle deep within our spirits today. We
• 0:45
Speaker 1: are chosen. We are royal. We belong to you. Lord,
• 0:49
Speaker 1: there are times when life makes us forget our worth.
• 0:52
Speaker 1: We allow rejection to make us feel unwanted. We allow
• 0:55
Speaker 1: mistakes to make us feel disqualified. We allow our past
• 0:58
Speaker 1: to convince us that we can't be used by you.
• 1:01
Speaker 1: We allow the opinions of others to become louder than
• 1:04
Speaker 1: your word. But today, Father, silence every lie that has
• 1:07
Speaker 1: tried to diminish who you created us to be. Remind
• 1:10
Speaker 1: us that our identity is not determined by our past,
• 1:13
Speaker 1: our mistakes, our bank account, our relationship status, our job title,
• 1:18
Speaker 1: or somebody else's opinion. Our identity is rooted in you. Lord,
• 1:22
Speaker 1: we are a royal priesthood. We've been called to represent you,
• 1:26
Speaker 1: to reflect your love, to declare your goodness. So help
• 1:29
Speaker 1: us to walk with confidence, not arrogance, but the confidence
• 1:32
Speaker 1: of knowing that we are loved by the King of Kings.
• 1:36
Speaker 1: Help us to stop shrinking, to make other people comfortable.
• 1:39
Speaker 1: Help us stop apologizing for the gifts that you placed
• 1:42
Speaker 1: on the inside of us. Help us to stop allowing
• 1:44
Speaker 1: rejection to make us question our own value. Help us
• 1:48
Speaker 1: to stop comparing our journey to somebody else's journey. God,
• 1:51
Speaker 1: we are fearfully and wonderfully made in your likeness and image.
• 1:54
Speaker 1: We are created with purpose. We are called to be
• 1:57
Speaker 1: a light in this dark world. Father, remind us that
• 2:00
Speaker 1: royalty is not just about what we perceive. It's about
• 2:03
Speaker 1: how we represent the one we belong to. Let our
• 2:06
Speaker 1: words reflect your wisdom. Let our actions reflect your kindness
• 2:10
Speaker 1: let our character reflect your holiness let our lives pour
• 2:13
Speaker 1: people toward you lord wherever we go help us to
• 2:16
Speaker 1: remember that we carry the responsibility and the privilege god
• 2:20
Speaker 1: of representing your kingdom in our homes on our jobs
• 2:24
Speaker 1: in our relationships and even in difficult situations let us
• 2:27
Speaker 1: walk with character and integrity when people mistreat us help
• 2:31
Speaker 1: us to respond with grace When people doubt us, help
• 2:35
Speaker 1: us to remain grounded. When opportunities come, God, give us humility.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: When blessings arrive, keep us grateful. And when we fall short,
• 2:43
Speaker 1: remind us that your grace is still available. Father, for
• 2:46
Speaker 1: every person who feels overlooked, remind them that you see them.
• 2:49
Speaker 1: For those who feel forgotten, remind them that you know
• 2:52
Speaker 1: their name. For those who feel disqualified, remind them that
• 2:56
Speaker 1: you can still use a surrendered heart. For those who
• 2:59
Speaker 1: feel like their path is defined, then remind them that
• 3:02
Speaker 1: you are the God who makes all things new. Help
• 3:06
Speaker 1: us to live like people who understand that we've been
• 3:08
Speaker 1: called out of darkness into your marvelous light. Let us
• 3:11
Speaker 1: not hide our testimonies. Let us not bury our gifts.
• 3:14
Speaker 1: Let us not waste the opportunities that you placed before us.
• 3:17
Speaker 1: Use our voices to encourage others. God, use our hands
• 3:20
Speaker 1: to serve other people. Use our lives to make a difference.
• 3:23
Speaker 1: And when the world tries to tell us that we're
• 3:26
Speaker 1: not enough, Lord, your word reminds us that our value
• 3:29
Speaker 1: comes from Christ. You, we are chosen. We are loved.
• 3:33
Speaker 1: We are called. We belong to the King of Kings. Father,
• 3:36
Speaker 1: let us walk boldly in the purpose that you placed
• 3:38
Speaker 1: before us, knowing that we don't have to compete with
• 3:41
Speaker 1: anybody else to fulfill what you called us to do.
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: We're your people. We're your representatives. We're a royal priesthood.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: And God, let our lives continually declare the praises of
• 3:49
Speaker 1: the one who called us out of darkness into the
• 3:52
Speaker 1: marvelous light. Oh, Father God, we trust you. We praise you.
• 3:55
Speaker 1: We honor you. In Jesus' name, amen.
