- 0:00Speaker 1: Here's more. Marximone on seven ten WR.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Well, nobody feels great today. It's a rough night. You've
- 0:13Speaker 2: got Mom dani as the mayor elect. He's making some
- 0:17Speaker 2: sort of an announcement this morning. We'll wait and see
- 0:21Speaker 2: what it is he's announcing. Everybody's worried about who will quit.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Will Jessica Tish the police commissioner resign? We don't know,
- 0:27Speaker 2: but I can tell you that the fire commissioner just resigned.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Robert Tucker, who's a great guy, wonderful guy. Robert Tucker,
- 0:35Speaker 2: fire commissioner. I was Jewish. I don't know if that
- 0:37Speaker 2: has a role in his resigning from this obviously anti
- 0:43Speaker 2: Semitic mayor. Also, Tucker is a very successful guy in
- 0:49Speaker 2: the private sector. He's got a great business and company
- 0:52Speaker 2: can easily go back to that. But he has resigned.
- 0:55Speaker 2: The fire commissioner's resigned. Robert Tucker, good guy, he's been
- 0:58Speaker 2: there a year. But it's also not unusual when a
- 1:02Speaker 2: mayoralty is over for the commissioners to start to leave.
- 1:05Speaker 2: But Tucker has left. Jessica Titi has had nothing so far. Cuomo,
- 1:14Speaker 2: It's an interesting case. Everybody agrees he's finished politically, that
- 1:17Speaker 2: that's it. There's no coming back from this. What does
- 1:21Speaker 2: he do now? Now, all these billionaires that jumped into
- 1:25Speaker 2: back Cuomo, you know they we love Cuomo. Back in
- 1:28Speaker 2: Cuomo again. I always warn you these big, big donors,
- 1:32Speaker 2: these big billionaires, geniuses at what they do, that's why
- 1:35Speaker 2: they're billionaires. But when it comes to politics, they don't
- 1:38Speaker 2: know what the hell they're doing. They always get it wrong.
- 1:40Speaker 2: They always back the wrong guy, and it's absolutely guaranteed
- 1:44Speaker 2: every time whoever they back loses always. Now they got
- 1:51Speaker 2: caught up in that Cuomo nonsense and he can't win.
- 1:54Speaker 2: And now, now what do they do with him? Somebody's
- 1:56Speaker 2: got to give him a job. The guy's going to
- 1:58Speaker 2: need to do something. Left as attorney general, everybody figured
- 2:02Speaker 2: he'll run for governor. So it was in between period.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Somebody gave him a nice, big job at a big
- 2:07Speaker 2: top financial firm, law firm, something. You know, you pay
- 2:09Speaker 2: him a few million years. So you do that, although
- 2:13Speaker 2: if the guy's finished politically, he has a lot less
- 2:16Speaker 2: value to you. But to these big billionaires, believe or not,
- 2:19Speaker 2: they're the most starstruck people in the world. And if
- 2:22Speaker 2: you got some big firm, financial firm, law firm or whatever.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Cuoma's got a certain star factor to him, so they'll
- 2:30Speaker 2: give him a couple of million a year to hang
- 2:32Speaker 2: around lunch with some new clients. You bring Cuomoa to
- 2:35Speaker 2: Lunchjemo was a good talker there, so somebody may give
- 2:40Speaker 2: him one of those kind of jobs. We'll see. Now, Cuomo,
- 2:46Speaker 2: where did he win? Well, he won big on the
- 2:50Speaker 2: Upper east Side. That was his main district, the Upper
- 2:52Speaker 2: east Side, that's where these billionaires all live, so he
- 2:55Speaker 2: won that. It was huge. He also won Staten Island.
- 2:59Speaker 2: That's interesting. Everybody's been telling all the Curtis voters abandoned
- 3:02Speaker 2: Curtis vote for Cuomo. Well, apparently that worked to a
- 3:05Speaker 2: certain extent, because Cuomo won Staten Island. That's big Curtis territory.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Cuomo won Staten Island. He won chunks, the little chunks
- 3:14Speaker 2: of Queens and little chunks of Brooklyn. But Mam Donnie's
- 3:18Speaker 2: base was Brooklyn, those newer, younger parts of Brooklyn, and
- 3:22Speaker 2: Mam Donni won those big. And the thing about those areas,
- 3:26Speaker 2: they're heavily populated, so it's a lot of votes. Now,
- 3:29Speaker 2: once again, we can't repeat this enough. Curtis had nothing
- 3:32Speaker 2: to do with Cuomo losing. If you took every Curtis
- 3:36Speaker 2: voter and gave it to Cuomo, Cuomo still lost by
- 3:39Speaker 2: a few points. So Curtis being in the race was
- 3:42Speaker 2: not a factor with Cuomo losing. Had no children, But
- 3:46Speaker 2: Cuomo will say it was. He'll start to say this
- 3:48Speaker 2: a lot. Remember after the primary, humiliating defeat in the primary,
- 3:54Speaker 2: Mam Donni just crushed Cuomo in the primary. And then
- 3:56Speaker 2: the Cuomo team started telling everybody, well, it was that
- 4:00Speaker 2: ranked choice. If it wasn't for the rank choice, it
- 4:03Speaker 2: was because of the ranked choice, he lost. The rank
- 4:05Speaker 2: choice had nothing to do with it. He lost the
- 4:07Speaker 2: popular vote on the first round. The second Cuomo lost
- 4:11Speaker 2: the popular vote by a lot. Rank choice wasn't a factor.
- 4:15Speaker 2: But they'll start to do that now, they'll tell the
- 4:17Speaker 2: Cuomo people will be telling everybody, yeah, Curtis hadn't been
- 4:20Speaker 2: in the rate, he was so close. If it wasn't
- 4:22Speaker 2: for Curtis, well, again, that's not true. You could add
- 4:25Speaker 2: every Curtis voter in with Cuomo and he still lost
- 4:28Speaker 2: by a few points. Curtis was not a factor. The
- 4:33Speaker 2: Soros Is George Soros, Alex Soros, very very very happy today.
- 4:40Speaker 2: There's Alex Soros, the big Mom Donnie Backer. He's these
- 4:44Speaker 2: soros Is. These are the guys that gave us Alvin
- 4:47Speaker 2: Bragg and now Mom Donnie. And the word is they
- 4:50Speaker 2: got about twenty six more. Mom Donnie's ready to go
- 4:53Speaker 2: in other cities. But there's the Twitter as Alex Soros
- 4:57Speaker 2: arm in arm posing with Mom Donnie thrilled about it.
- 5:01Speaker 2: So I'm trying to read my own writing here. What
- 5:06Speaker 2: can be done to stop Mom Donnie. Well, all that's
- 5:08Speaker 2: out there is the Department of Justice. Well, there's a
- 5:15Speaker 2: couple of teams that have been looking at Mom Donnie's money,
- 5:19Speaker 2: the foreign donations. They think a lot of money came
- 5:21Speaker 2: from China, a lot of money came to the Middle East,
- 5:25Speaker 2: a lot of money came from overseas, and they're tracing it.
- 5:28Speaker 2: If they can find Mom Donnie took it, used it,
- 5:31Speaker 2: and had some knowledge of it, they can remove him
- 5:34Speaker 2: and he'll never be mayor. Now they've been working on it.
- 5:37Speaker 2: There's a few teams and they've been sending stuff over
- 5:40Speaker 2: to the Justice Department. Now every time we talk to
- 5:43Speaker 2: these guys on these teams that Tay well, we were
- 5:44Speaker 2: almost just about we just we're almost but I've been
- 5:48Speaker 2: hearing that for a months so far they haven't gotten it.
- 5:51Speaker 2: The other thing is there are actual Justice Department officials
- 5:54Speaker 2: who have said they're going to watch Mam Donnie's every move.
- 5:58Speaker 2: If he does anything against the Jewish communit unity, anything
- 6:00Speaker 2: anti Semitic, any that they want to, they say they
- 6:03Speaker 2: will come in and arrest him for a hate crime.
- 6:06Speaker 2: So we'll see. That's the kind of stuff that's out
- 6:09Speaker 2: there to stop Mom Donnie. The bad news is that
- 6:12Speaker 2: it's nothing but bad news. The other bad news is
- 6:15Speaker 2: the city council did not change. Most of the Democrats
- 6:19Speaker 2: got re elected, so you still got a kooky left
- 6:21Speaker 2: wing city council. It pretty much stayed the same as
- 6:26Speaker 2: far as mostly democratic. Alvin Bragg got re elected. Unfortunately, now,
- 6:35Speaker 2: you know, we go back and look at the mayors
- 6:37Speaker 2: of New York. They were pretty qualified guys. Rudy Giuliani
- 6:41Speaker 2: was a big, big crime fighter. He'd been the US
- 6:44Speaker 2: attorney for years. He'd been number two in the Justice
- 6:47Speaker 2: Department for years. He had quite a resume when he
- 6:50Speaker 2: took office. And then Michael Bloomberg came along, and he
- 6:52Speaker 2: had a huge resume in the business world, billionaire built
- 6:56Speaker 2: one of the biggest companies in the world, obviously a manager.
- 7:00Speaker 2: But the last three guys to be elected, the last
- 7:03Speaker 2: three The Blasio, Eric Adams, and this guy Mom Donnie.
- 7:08Speaker 2: No resume, no management experience, no qualifications other than they
- 7:13Speaker 2: were just kind of charming salespeople. The Blasio, yeah, you
- 7:17Speaker 2: had a certain charm to him and the TV commercials.
- 7:20Speaker 2: You had a nice smile and a certain charm. Eric
- 7:22Speaker 2: Adams a good looking guy, a lot of charm. This
- 7:25Speaker 2: guy in his own way charming, a slick salesman, but
- 7:28Speaker 2: with no resume and no management experience. So it's a very,
- 7:33Speaker 2: very weird trend we've started here. Now the New York Times,
- 7:38Speaker 2: big article now in the New York Times about Democrats
- 7:40Speaker 2: have a new leader. There's a new leader of the
- 7:44Speaker 2: Democratic Party. They're talking about Mom Donnie. Now, also figure
- 7:49Speaker 2: there's going to be a lot of angry people in
- 7:51Speaker 2: the Democratic Party, like AOC. You know, she was supposed
- 7:54Speaker 2: to be the left wing leader, the kook woke socialist
- 8:00Speaker 2: left wing leader of the party. Well, now this guy's
- 8:03Speaker 2: replaced her, and this guy can really outtalk her. So
- 8:07Speaker 2: you're going to see a little bit of a You're
- 8:08Speaker 2: going to see the war between the old Democrats, the
- 8:11Speaker 2: old Chuck Schumer fossils, the old dinosaurs, and this new
- 8:14Speaker 2: young breed. But within the young group, you're going to
- 8:16Speaker 2: see a fight between AOC and Mom Donnie. Is that
- 8:20Speaker 2: the first Lady? I think so, yeah, Mom Donnie doing
- 8:24Speaker 2: a little appearance now. And that's the other thing. The
- 8:27Speaker 2: first Lady, the new first Lady, the new first Lady, missus.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Mom Donnie stayed under the radar the whole campaign, although
- 8:36Speaker 2: apparently behind the scenes, she was a mastermind at the
- 8:40Speaker 2: strategy of the campaign, the branding of the campaign. She
- 8:44Speaker 2: and the mother of Mom Donnie. You remember, the mother
- 8:47Speaker 2: is a big filmmaker, big movie maker, so she knows
- 8:51Speaker 2: a lot of theatrical tricks. So between the wife and
- 8:55Speaker 2: the mother, they helped with the branding, the messaging, the
- 8:59Speaker 2: strategy of the camp pain putting that all together. But
- 9:01Speaker 2: we know very little about this first lady. Mom Donnie
- 9:05Speaker 2: met her on Hinge, the dating app Hinge. You know,
- 9:08Speaker 2: you got all these different dating apps. There is plenty
- 9:11Speaker 2: of fish, there's this one, that one, there's match dot Com.
- 9:15Speaker 2: But the high end ones, the high end dating apps
- 9:18Speaker 2: are like a Hinge and a few others. So that's
- 9:21Speaker 2: where mom Donnie met his wife. But again that's perfectly normal.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Nowadays everybody is going to at some point everybody will
- 9:29Speaker 2: have met their wife that way. Hey, we'll get back
- 9:33Speaker 2: to the mural race. But but let's just go to
- 9:36Speaker 2: Jack Smith for a moment. This weird bug eyed, cape
- 9:41Speaker 2: wearing weirdo prosecutor Jack Smith may have some real trouble now.
- 9:46Speaker 2: It looks like besides the terrible investigation in the Trump
- 9:50Speaker 2: and it was ridiculously overdone. You know you saw the
- 9:53Speaker 2: pictures hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of boxes at Marlago,
- 9:57Speaker 2: Well those were just presidential records. None of those were
- 9:59Speaker 2: classified doc documents. And that was later proven when Jack
- 10:03Speaker 2: Smith only found in the entire building thirty five classified documents.
- 10:07Speaker 2: If you put the thirty five in a folder, it's
- 10:10Speaker 2: about one inch thick, so one inch of one box
- 10:13Speaker 2: classified documents. All those boxes you saw were not classified documents.
- 10:18Speaker 2: And then Smith did a couple of horrible things. If
- 10:20Speaker 2: you're going to raid mar a Lago, First of all,
- 10:22Speaker 2: that was a horrible decision to raid a president's home,
- 10:27Speaker 2: but he did it. But even worse, they went through everything,
- 10:30Speaker 2: they went through the kid's bedroom, Milania's stuff. They went
- 10:34Speaker 2: through Malania's underwear drawers, just like Polly Walnuts and the Sopranos.
- 10:39Speaker 2: And Smith actually got permission to use deadly force in
- 10:45Speaker 2: mar A Lago. He actually got permission from Remember we
- 10:48Speaker 2: had the dirtiest Attorney General ever, Merrick Garland, who granted
- 10:52Speaker 2: that permission to use deadly force in mar A Lago.
- 10:57Speaker 2: In other words, they could come in with guns drawn
- 10:59Speaker 2: and fire their guns if they needed to. Now Trump
- 11:02Speaker 2: was not at mar Alago. He was in New York,
- 11:06Speaker 2: I think at the time. And at mar A Lago
- 11:10Speaker 2: was just the staff, the butler, the maids. Why would
- 11:12Speaker 2: you need to use deadly force? Now there's also members there,
- 11:15Speaker 2: But have you ever seen those members? It's little old
- 11:18Speaker 2: ladies going, how are you? You don't need deadly force?
- 11:21Speaker 2: It was just insane. Now it turns out Jack Smith
- 11:25Speaker 2: also sees the phone records, emails of dozens and dozens
- 11:31Speaker 2: and dozens of people in Congress, did surveillance on them.
- 11:34Speaker 2: And then yesterday we find out Jack Smith got President
- 11:41Speaker 2: Trump's cell phone from the first term. You know, when
- 11:44Speaker 2: you're a president, Trump has its own cell phone, But
- 11:46Speaker 2: when you're president, they give you an official presidential cell
- 11:49Speaker 2: phone to use. It's different from It looks like a
- 11:52Speaker 2: regular cell phone, but it's tricked out with all sorts
- 11:55Speaker 2: of privacy features and scramblers and all kinds of things
- 12:00Speaker 2: to keep your communication private. And then when you leave
- 12:03Speaker 2: the presidency, I guess it goes back to the government.
- 12:06Speaker 2: But Jack Smith got permission to take it, and the
- 12:10Speaker 2: dirty law air Biden administration handed it over, so Jack
- 12:14Speaker 2: Smith was able to go through it and see all
- 12:16Speaker 2: the Trump's calls, texts everything. By the way, he's using
- 12:20Speaker 2: his own cell phone. Now he's got that presidential cell phone,
- 12:24Speaker 2: but most of the time if he calls you, it's
- 12:25Speaker 2: on the personal cell phone. Now I know why, because
- 12:27Speaker 2: he doesn't trust the next administration a safeguard his presidential
- 12:32Speaker 2: cell phone. But Jack Smith, this is out and out
- 12:35Speaker 2: wiretapping of the president. Jack Smith had no reason to
- 12:39Speaker 2: do that, no reason to do that. He's in real
- 12:41Speaker 2: trouble now. They're going to really come after him for this. Now.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Jack Smith is telling his friends that he welcomes this,
- 12:50Speaker 2: that he can't wait to defend himself and he wants
- 12:54Speaker 2: to counter attack. He said he can't wait to get
- 12:56Speaker 2: into a courtroom and explain himself. He said he had
- 12:59Speaker 2: a help all of a case against Trump, but judges
- 13:02Speaker 2: kept denying him a chance to present his evidence in court.
- 13:07Speaker 2: He said, now he has tons of evidence that he
- 13:10Speaker 2: can present in course. I don't know what he's talking about,
- 13:14Speaker 2: and he'll never be able to explain this. Trump had
- 13:17Speaker 2: a handful of classified documents. There weren't anything earth shattering.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Joe Biden had eight thousand classified documents. He had him
- 13:25Speaker 2: in his house, he had him in his office, he
- 13:27Speaker 2: had him in his office at the University of Delaware, Pennsylvania.
- 13:33Speaker 2: He'll never be able to explain this. But Jack Smith
- 13:36Speaker 2: looked for him to really really have a problem at
- 13:39Speaker 2: some point. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next we'll get
- 13:42Speaker 2: back to the mayoral race, and we'll get to the
- 13:44Speaker 2: governor's race. Mikey Cheryl is your new governor.
- 13:49Speaker 3: And I just got a call from Jack Chittarelli, and
- 13:51Speaker 3: I want to recognize him for stepping up.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Okay, she wants to recognize him.
- 13:56Speaker 3: But serving you is worth any tough I have to
- 14:00Speaker 3: take on. And I am incredibly honored to be your
- 14:03Speaker 3: next governor.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Does she sound like a governor? Does she really sound
- 14:08Speaker 2: like a comment.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Serving you is worth any tough fight I have to
- 14:12Speaker 3: take on, and I am incredibly honored.
- 14:15Speaker 2: To be your next time. All right, it's a it's
- 14:17Speaker 2: an unusual from New Jersey to go with one party
- 14:19Speaker 2: for three terms. Usually the two terms of one party
- 14:22Speaker 2: they switch. And that's always been the case for many decades.
- 14:26Speaker 2: First time in decades if they've gone three terms with
- 14:29Speaker 2: one party. But it happened. Anyway, we'll get back to
- 14:31Speaker 2: the mural race. We'll take some calls next. Eight hundred
- 14:34Speaker 2: three to two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 14:42Speaker 4: He knows his way around all this.
- 14:45Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show on seven ten war.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Hey, let's text the calls. You know, we got a
- 14:52Speaker 2: lot of listeners around the country. I think they're all
- 14:54Speaker 2: laughing at us. Let's text. Let's just text some calls
- 14:56Speaker 2: from around the country. See what people say. Let's go
- 14:58Speaker 2: to Stuart, South Carolina. Stuart, how you doing, Hey?
- 15:02Speaker 4: How you doing?
- 15:03Speaker 2: You're right?
- 15:03Speaker 4: The rest of the country is just in shock.
- 15:05Speaker 5: We're cooking in New York.
- 15:06Speaker 4: The thing that I cannot believe. And you know, I've
- 15:08Speaker 4: been a police officer almost fifty years I cannot, for
- 15:12Speaker 4: the life of me, Mark, believe they re elected Alvin Bragg,
- 15:16Speaker 4: who is responsible for so much devastation among the populace
- 15:21Speaker 4: of New York City. It is incredulous they would put
- 15:24Speaker 4: that man back in office. And ma'am Donnie together are
- 15:28Speaker 4: going to be the seventh circle of Hell.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Thanks for the encouragement, all right, thanks for calling Stuart.
- 15:36Speaker 2: All around the country they're laughing us. Let's go to
- 15:38Speaker 2: Aaron in Indianapolis. Aaron, how you.
- 15:41Speaker 6: Doing doing great?
- 15:43Speaker 5: Mark? Hey, the Minnesota Twins be to change their name
- 15:46Speaker 5: to the Minnesota Somalis.
- 15:49Speaker 2: All right, whatever that means. That's it. That's it, that's
- 15:54Speaker 2: the whole call. That's all right. Thanks for slowing us
- 15:57Speaker 2: up here. Let's go to Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich
- 16:00Speaker 2: how you doing, hey?
- 16:01Speaker 7: Thanks? Mark.
- 16:02Speaker 5: This thousands, I mean thousands of New York style bakeries
- 16:07Speaker 5: and Deli's opening up in Florida right now as we speak.
- 16:10Speaker 5: You know, Domi is going to be the realtor of
- 16:12Speaker 5: the year. But I can't believe it. My knucklehead brother
- 16:15Speaker 5: who lives down here now is a raging liberal. He's
- 16:17Speaker 5: and he's trying to explain to me it was better
- 16:19Speaker 5: to have Mondami than Cuomo for New York, which just
- 16:23Speaker 5: too proves to me my brother is a communist.
- 16:25Speaker 7: You know, I didn't.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Realize he's not entirely run. You remember Cuomo when he
- 16:29Speaker 2: was governor with the most left wing kook. He caused
- 16:32Speaker 2: the crime wave. He took away bail, he'd closed, like Stewart.
- 16:36Speaker 5: Was saying, it was really Cuomo with the no cash,
- 16:38Speaker 5: no bail that really brought in Alvin brick led to
- 16:42Speaker 5: the other.
- 16:42Speaker 2: He also closed prisons. He changed the parole board to
- 16:46Speaker 2: let all the killers out. He was.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Yeah, so it really is unbelievable. I really couldn't believe it.
- 16:52Speaker 5: I really can't. All my friends are going to put
- 16:54Speaker 5: the help. I got a fund of my lives in Riverdale,
- 16:56Speaker 5: in the Bronx. He's putting us up his house up
- 16:58Speaker 5: to sail and leave them all right.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I know everybody says they leave and we'll see. We'll
- 17:02Speaker 2: see who actually leaves.
- 17:03Speaker 5: You know.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Uh, Cromo is the most left wing. He was as
- 17:06Speaker 2: far left as a governor. Of the things he did
- 17:08Speaker 2: as Mam Donnie, he should have campaigned as himself. That's
- 17:11Speaker 2: if he had campaigned as that the truth he would
- 17:16Speaker 2: have split up the Mom Donnie vote. He probably could
- 17:18Speaker 2: have beaten him that way. Well, let's go to uh,
- 17:20Speaker 2: let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel, how you doing.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark.
- 17:25Speaker 6: Speaking of Florida, our Attorney General has made it very
- 17:28Speaker 6: clear here in the state of Florida, we welcome people
- 17:31Speaker 6: from New York with open hands, open arts, but make
- 17:34Speaker 6: certainly understand that crime here is something that's taken seriously. Also,
- 17:39Speaker 6: I heard this morning that Doudan the Abbott has tell
- 17:42Speaker 6: people that they leave New York and they comp to Texas,
- 17:45Speaker 6: he's imposing a tariff on them. Yeah, huge amount of
- 17:49Speaker 6: building going on here in Florida. They're building new office space, homes.
- 17:54Speaker 6: It's a tremendous building boom here statewide. So if you're
- 17:57Speaker 6: in New York and you're coming to Florida, you will
- 17:59Speaker 6: have some place to lip.
- 18:01Speaker 2: All right, all right, all right there, listen, you'll all
- 18:03Speaker 2: be back, every one of you. You'll be back in
- 18:05Speaker 2: New York at some point. So the good news is
- 18:09Speaker 2: Mom Donnie's holding a press conference this morning. Apparently he's
- 18:13Speaker 2: reassuring Jewish voters, he's reassuring business leaders that he'll be
- 18:18Speaker 2: able to work with them and we'll see. You know,
- 18:21Speaker 2: they got this stupid organizations called the Partnership in there.
- 18:24Speaker 2: It's it's like every CEO in New York and this
- 18:26Speaker 2: crazy woman that runs it, and they've had meetings with
- 18:30Speaker 2: mom Donnie, and the fact that he would show up
- 18:33Speaker 2: and meet with them, that's a good sign. And you
- 18:36Speaker 2: never know. You know, Deblasio was the mister socialist, mister
- 18:40Speaker 2: left wing, you know, tax the rich. But when Deblasia
- 18:44Speaker 2: took office, all of a sudden, he became very chummy
- 18:46Speaker 2: with these billionaires and CEOs. He gave every one of them,
- 18:49Speaker 2: here's my cell number, call me. Can need anything, and
- 18:52Speaker 2: you needed anything, you could get it from him. That's
- 18:54Speaker 2: the way a lot of these socialists work. And they
- 18:57Speaker 2: made sure that he got re elected because they liked
- 18:59Speaker 2: the relationationship. So you never know, he might, I'm Donnie
- 19:03Speaker 2: might actually work well with these business because you never know.
- 19:05Speaker 2: You never know. And me such a phony and such
- 19:08Speaker 2: a kind man, who knows which way he'll really go.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Let's go to Anna in New Jersey. Anna, how you doing, Yes.
- 19:14Speaker 8: Good morning, thank you for taking my call.
- 19:16Speaker 7: Mark.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Yes, Anna, I'm never in the.
- 19:18Speaker 8: Air, but I am going to burst if I don't
- 19:20Speaker 8: say something to New York is I grew up in
- 19:23Speaker 8: that city. I'm a Cuban American. I can hear as
- 19:26Speaker 8: a child, and in a couple of days, I'm going
- 19:28Speaker 8: to be seventy and my heart I was crying last night.
- 19:31Speaker 8: Now what happened in New York? Because you know what,
- 19:34Speaker 8: it's like Havana in nineteen fifty nine for my parents
- 19:38Speaker 8: anything else?
- 19:39Speaker 2: I know, you know what escape the socialism and this
- 19:42Speaker 2: guy brings it back.
- 19:44Speaker 8: They promise everything and it's only a lie they can deliver.
- 19:49Speaker 8: What are they going to get the money to pay
- 19:51Speaker 8: for things?
- 19:51Speaker 2: You know, Anna, stay strong, just listen to us every day.
- 19:55Speaker 2: We got you through the pandemic. We'll get you through Mom. Donnie,
- 19:58Speaker 2: you're sounding a nice person. Anna, thanks for calling. Let's
- 20:00Speaker 2: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing good money?
- 20:04Speaker 9: Marc Ime? Okay to stew it from South Carolina's question
- 20:08Speaker 9: about Manhattan re electing alvim Bragg, that's like the chickens
- 20:12Speaker 9: voting for Colonel Sanders. My palmo won start in Island
- 20:18Speaker 9: because if it was going to be a toss up
- 20:20Speaker 9: between Curtis Leewa and Andrew Cuomo, the Italian Americans once
- 20:26Speaker 9: major people. Once Trump came out and said you got
- 20:29Speaker 9: to vote for Cuomo, it was an obra. It was
- 20:32Speaker 9: practically a no brainer. That being said, now that the
- 20:35Speaker 9: election behind is behind us, and the next election is
- 20:39Speaker 9: the big one in twenty twenty six, Trump has to
- 20:43Speaker 9: stop this congestion pricing and has to stop the windmills.
- 20:49Speaker 9: We have to get We have to get a couple
- 20:52Speaker 9: of points on the scoreboard because thus far, Oh, I'll
- 20:56Speaker 9: give you thirty days. I'll give you sixty days. I'm
- 21:00Speaker 9: of the school of you, let your opponents have to
- 21:04Speaker 9: take you to Vincent.
- 21:07Speaker 2: We're worried about this man, Donnie, letting every criminal out
- 21:09Speaker 2: of you. We're not worried. That's I'm not worried about
- 21:11Speaker 2: it cause about a windmill. I'm worried about these criminals.
- 21:14Speaker 9: Mark, I'm not worried about the criminals. I told my
- 21:16Speaker 9: girlfriend last night, go over, you knew your gun license.
- 21:20Speaker 9: I'm not worried about the criminals. And that's the truth.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Mark, that's because you're Vincent.
- 21:26Speaker 9: I mean, but now, but we got to have it
- 21:29Speaker 9: on the scoreboard. No more did And when I hear that, Oh,
- 21:33Speaker 9: I'm giving you thirty days. You do that with a businessman,
- 21:38Speaker 9: You don't do that with with these officials, these petty
- 21:42Speaker 9: tyrants like Kathy Hulko, Eric Adams and now Zoramandani. This
- 21:48Speaker 9: thirty day stuff has to stop.
- 21:50Speaker 2: All right, as usual as usual. You're right, Vincent, great call,
- 21:53Speaker 2: Thanks for calling. Hey. When we come back and Culture
- 21:56Speaker 2: will be with us. Let's see what she thinks about
- 21:58Speaker 2: mom Donnie winning. We'll get to that next on seven ten.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Mark Simone on sevent tenor well and Culture, the best
- 22:08Speaker 1: selling author of The Great Columnist.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Follow her on Twitter x oh even better at substack
- 22:14Speaker 2: on substacks, she's got columns and podcasts and videos and
- 22:17Speaker 2: interviews and all sorts of stuff. Just go to and
- 22:19Speaker 2: culture dot substack dot com and culture. How you doing,
- 22:25Speaker 2: fum nine?
- 22:26Speaker 8: So how are you?
- 22:26Speaker 1: Mark Simone?
- 22:29Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know what the hell happened
- 22:32Speaker 2: last night.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Well, I've been warning all of you forever. Actually, I
- 22:38Speaker 1: hope you appreciate my amazing restraint and not attacking Cuomo
- 22:43Speaker 1: at least not as much as usual for the last
- 22:46Speaker 1: few weeks. No, he was a sure loser. There are
- 22:48Speaker 1: a million.
- 22:48Speaker 7: Reasons to hate Cuomo. I still you.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Can't run the experiment twice and it was the foreign
- 22:54Speaker 1: born and women that apparently took the Communis musslm over
- 22:58Speaker 1: the top.
- 22:58Speaker 7: They were very excited about them and.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Ha ha ha, and now they'll have to live with him.
- 23:03Speaker 1: But everybody should have just gotten behind. Adams immediately told
- 23:07Speaker 1: force Sliwa and Cuomo to drop out, because that just
- 23:10Speaker 1: makes it a clearer choice. What you you can keep
- 23:13Speaker 1: what you have now, which you may not like, or
- 23:15Speaker 1: some get something much much worse. But when you have
- 23:20Speaker 1: I mean, I guess the New York Posts on an
- 23:21Speaker 1: article of somebody had an article some woman writing Cuomo
- 23:25Speaker 1: killed my husband. I still voted for him, when when
- 23:29Speaker 1: that's what it's coming down to. I mean, I salute
- 23:32Speaker 1: that poor woman trying to keep Domi out. But they're
- 23:36Speaker 1: just there are just too many reasons I hate Andrew Culoma.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Yeah, well, the problem is going into the primary, he
- 23:41Speaker 2: scared Adams out with his big name recognition is billions
- 23:45Speaker 2: of billionaires donor money and it so Adams didn't enter
- 23:48Speaker 2: the Democratic primary and he might have done better against
- 23:51Speaker 2: Mom Donny in those debates. Cloma was a.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Disaster, yes, yes, and he also represents everything Mom Dommy
- 24:00Speaker 1: voters are again the old school establishment and Democratic Party,
- 24:07Speaker 1: which I don't know they voted for that too. But
- 24:10Speaker 1: and worst of all, to get to have the billionaires
- 24:13Speaker 1: getting behind him as the best choice. I mean, it
- 24:16Speaker 1: just shows you the point you and I have made
- 24:19Speaker 1: many times. Rich people are just such morons about politics.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the kiss of death. Whenever the big donors,
- 24:25Speaker 2: the big billionaires are behind somebody, it's a guaranteed loss.
- 24:29Speaker 2: You could shout it out one hundred percent of the time.
- 24:32Speaker 1: So yes, I'm speaking of the Virginia governors, right, Yes.
- 24:37Speaker 7: That Winsome Sears.
- 24:39Speaker 1: What's the full name, Winsome Earl Sears, Earl Sears.
- 24:44Speaker 7: That's it.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Yeah, for one thing, it's too long a name, too
- 24:46Speaker 1: complicated you on something simple.
- 24:47Speaker 5: Like COUMP.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Two years ago when she was three years ago, four
- 24:54Speaker 1: years ago she was elected lieutenant governor. That was cat
- 24:58Speaker 1: for Republican donors. Oh my gosh, we have a woman
- 25:02Speaker 1: and a person of color and it's a Republican. We
- 25:05Speaker 1: must run this person for president. Whereas, as I keep
- 25:08Speaker 1: pointing out, probably because of this rocket fuel that black
- 25:13Speaker 1: Republicans get in order to win the nomination when they
- 25:17Speaker 1: might not have given given other other demographics. Black Republicans
- 25:22Speaker 1: have a long history of lots of enthusiasm and then losing.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Yeah, so these big, big donors, so they always you're right,
- 25:32Speaker 2: like like what Calma, They said, Well, he's got the experience,
- 25:34Speaker 2: but it was a very bad experience.
- 25:36Speaker 1: And Domini nailed him on that the second debate. He
- 25:41Speaker 1: was bragging about an experience and that's exactly what mom
- 25:44Speaker 1: Donnie came back with, Yeah, it's the worst kind of experience.
- 25:47Speaker 1: You did this, this and this, and I mean I
- 25:51Speaker 1: think the biggest one is he well two of them.
- 25:55Speaker 7: As we have.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Discussed, he is one of one of the New York
- 25:59Speaker 1: hall psions most responsible, and he was governor for the
- 26:03Speaker 1: cashless veil law when when Democrats were about to get
- 26:06Speaker 1: control of both houses of the legislature. I think this was,
- 26:10Speaker 1: what was it like twenty seventeen to eighteen me it's
- 26:13Speaker 1: fairly recently. He vowed on the campaign trail. It was
- 26:17Speaker 1: when he was running for his third term, so whenever
- 26:19Speaker 1: that was, he vowed on the campaign trail that the
- 26:22Speaker 1: first bill he would sign would be cashless veil and that,
- 26:27Speaker 1: of course has has ripped the city apart with with
- 26:29Speaker 1: criminals running while looting, killing, stabbing, raping, and of course
- 26:35Speaker 1: the COVID shutdowns when he was just an absolute authoritarian
- 26:39Speaker 1: and we now know every one of his measures.
- 26:41Speaker 7: Was a disaster.
- 26:43Speaker 1: He destroyed kids' lives, destroyed endless businesses, kept attacking states
- 26:49Speaker 1: that were doing it right, like Florida and forcing Floridians
- 26:54Speaker 1: when they flew in, oh my gosh, you've got to
- 26:57Speaker 1: be quarantined, like you know, we're coming from a lepers colony.
- 27:01Speaker 1: And of course Florida did far better than New York
- 27:05Speaker 1: did on COVID without destroying any businesses and allowing the
- 27:08Speaker 1: citizens to live free.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Yeah, you know the problem that there's no we don't
- 27:13Speaker 2: have a Republican party in New York. Democratic Party is
- 27:16Speaker 2: a huge machine with infrastructure, lots of people. There's nothing, no,
- 27:21Speaker 2: how do we ever fix that?
- 27:23Speaker 1: Well, it's very hard. I noticed this years ago, and
- 27:26Speaker 1: I don't know, maybe New York, but also California. I've met,
- 27:30Speaker 1: I've met at the Metropolitan Republican Club, or i'd sometimes
- 27:34Speaker 1: do speeches and book signs on the Upper East Side.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Sometimes you'd meet, you know, a candidate running for this
- 27:41Speaker 1: or that office as a Republican and I always kind
- 27:44Speaker 1: of laugh and say, why why are you doing this?
- 27:48Speaker 7: You have no chance of me.
- 27:50Speaker 1: But this is where I don't know. I think we
- 27:53Speaker 1: need to kidnap the New York's billionaires, tie them up,
- 27:59Speaker 1: and force them to do what we say, which is
- 28:01Speaker 1: to find someone who can run as an independent. What
- 28:04Speaker 1: did Bloomberg run as first time, both both a Republican
- 28:06Speaker 1: and an independent.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Yeah, but you got to remember it was right after
- 28:10Speaker 2: nine to eleven. Rudy Giuliani was the greatest hero in America,
- 28:13Speaker 2: and he campaigned for Bloomberg. That's what put Bloomberg over
- 28:16Speaker 2: the top.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Yes, and also the city what got Giuliani elected. I mean,
- 28:22Speaker 1: this city has had twenty years of Republican rule until
- 28:25Speaker 1: Democrats came in and started slowly, just not slowly, actually
- 28:29Speaker 1: quite rapidly dismantling it. And Juliani got in after after
- 28:34Speaker 1: New York City became became Charles Bronson's death wish. So,
- 28:42Speaker 1: I mean, I guess this is semi good news for Republicans,
- 28:46Speaker 1: not New Yorkers, but Republicans. Okay, let's see what the
- 28:49Speaker 1: communist Muslim does. He'll have a record by the time
- 28:53Speaker 1: midterms roll around next year.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Now, if you watch his victory speech, the smiling salesman
- 28:59Speaker 2: all of a sudden had a really angry tone to him.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Is that the indication that he's going to be a
- 29:03Speaker 2: lot worse than we think?
- 29:07Speaker 1: I assume a lot of people have commented on that.
- 29:10Speaker 1: I especially liked his very first sentence, fighting socialist Eugene
- 29:14Speaker 1: dem Oh.
- 29:15Speaker 7: That that's got a big cheer from the audience.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, we've got to take.
- 29:21Speaker 7: Away women's right to vote.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I think he's he's experienced the blowback, and he will
- 29:29Speaker 1: go back to being the smiling mom Donnie now because
- 29:33Speaker 1: that You're absolutely right, that was quite jarring. And boy,
- 29:37Speaker 1: that's not bringing us together.
- 29:39Speaker 2: No, and now, would you agree with our other guests,
- 29:41Speaker 2: this is it. We're done with Andrew Cuomo. We don't
- 29:43Speaker 2: have to worry about him running for anything again.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Speaking of the unkind things, the snottiness of Mom Donny's
- 29:51Speaker 1: victory siege, one of the first things he said was,
- 29:56Speaker 1: I hope I'll never have to say we've destroyed a
- 29:58Speaker 1: political level legacy. I hope I will never have to
- 30:01Speaker 1: say the word Cuomo again. Yes, I mean I happen
- 30:05Speaker 1: to agree with that. I don't think i'd say that
- 30:08Speaker 1: in a magnanimous victory speech, you're supposed to be saying,
- 30:11Speaker 1: And you know, I congratulations to the other side. He
- 30:14Speaker 1: ran a tough campaign. They always act as if I
- 30:17Speaker 1: might add here, because I've heard people commenting on Mom Dammies.
- 30:21Speaker 7: Snippy victory speech.
- 30:24Speaker 1: They always say, oh, well, this.
- 30:25Speaker 7: Comes from Trump. What do you expect it's Trump.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Trump is exactly the opposite. He is
- 30:32Speaker 1: totally magnanimous. Yeah, he likes to joke around. He's a
- 30:37Speaker 1: professional wrestler. Everybody laughs, we have a good time. His
- 30:41Speaker 1: victory speeches are I mean, you recall he was reaching
- 30:45Speaker 1: out like mad to the Democrats, to the New York
- 30:47Speaker 1: Times his first term, and you know they responded by
- 30:50Speaker 1: impeaching him twice.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yeah, well we got through to Blasio, we got through
- 30:55Speaker 2: the pandemic, We'll get through this, right, It'll be okay, Yes, okay, Yes.
- 31:02Speaker 7: It is New York City.
- 31:04Speaker 1: And also, as usual, as we've talked about, when I'm
- 31:06Speaker 1: a these socialists claiming they're doing something for the poor,
- 31:09Speaker 1: the rich benefit them up. So I think we're gonna
- 31:11Speaker 1: be fine.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Mark, that's a good point, excellently. Let's end on that
- 31:17Speaker 2: happy note. Everybody follow and culture on Twitter. Also substacks.
- 31:22Speaker 2: He's got a lot of stuff on substack. You can
- 31:24Speaker 2: sign up there and culture dot substack dot com and culter.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Thanks for being with us.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Good to talk to you, Mark blae Bah all right,
- 31:34Speaker 1: take care.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Yeah, we get we'll get through this. We'll get you
- 31:37Speaker 2: through it every day. Now. Don't forget Jimmy Fayala tonight
- 31:41Speaker 2: at nine, excellent show, we got Jesse Kelly at six,
- 31:45Speaker 2: you got three o'clock. You got the most listened to
- 31:48Speaker 2: radio show in America, Sean Hannity. And coming up next
- 31:51Speaker 2: right after this show, right after the News at noon
- 31:53Speaker 2: is Buck and Clay. That's I can't wait to hear
- 31:55Speaker 2: what they have to say about last night. That's coming
- 31:58Speaker 2: up at noon today on seventr Give woor a brief
- 32:04Speaker 2: said on the iHeart Radio app to hear Mark Simone
- 32:07Speaker 2: and all the WR hosts in an instance.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Now back to the Marximo Show on wor.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Well, nobody's feeling great today. It was quite a night
- 32:20Speaker 2: last night, but we'll get through this. We got through
- 32:23Speaker 2: eight years of the Blasio. We can get through one
- 32:26Speaker 2: year of this guy. It'll be one year probably, this
- 32:29Speaker 2: will be the end of Kathy Hochel. A year from now,
- 32:32Speaker 2: she'll get as you'll be out, you'll probably get somebody
- 32:35Speaker 2: like Bruce Blakeman or a least Stephonic and then that
- 32:38Speaker 2: that governor will have the power to remove the mayor. Yeah,
- 32:43Speaker 2: so figure a year of this and who knows. The
- 32:47Speaker 2: fire commissioner quit earlier this morning, Robert Tucker, great guy.
- 32:53Speaker 2: No word yet on the police commissioner, but we'll see.
- 32:56Speaker 2: But we'll get you through it. We'll be here every day.
- 32:58Speaker 2: We'll just like the pandemic, we'll all stick together and
- 33:01Speaker 2: get through this in one piece. Cuomo was, as predicted,
- 33:05Speaker 2: a total disaster, and once again it had nothing to
- 33:09Speaker 2: do with Curtis Lee. Well, you could give Cuomo every
- 33:12Speaker 2: voter Curtis had and he still was a few points short.
- 33:16Speaker 2: And Cuoma was just an old, tired, old politician. He
- 33:20Speaker 2: was totally out of shape politically. Remember the first few
- 33:22Speaker 2: months of the campaign. He did nothing, didn't speak, no rallies,
- 33:26Speaker 2: barely did an interview, sounded slow and tired. He got
- 33:29Speaker 2: himself together in the last two weeks, but way way
- 33:33Speaker 2: too late. So anyway, stick with us every day, we'll
- 33:36Speaker 2: get you. If we got to the pandemic together. We'll
- 33:38Speaker 2: get through this together. And now don't go away. Buck
- 33:41Speaker 2: and Clay are coming up next with an excellent show.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I'm waiting to hear what they have to say about
- 33:46Speaker 2: last night, so I'll be back tomorrow ten to noon.
- 33:49Speaker 2: I'll talk to you then on seven to ten. Woir
