  Speaker 1: The scripture says, now these are the gifts Christ gave

  Speaker 1: to the church. Now, these gifts are men. These gifts

  Speaker 2: Look at it. It says, the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists,

  Speaker 1: responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work

  Speaker 1: He has given us ministry of reconciliation. So you know

  Speaker 1: the Holy Ghost said, you know, they should move. That

  Speaker 1: And so when I was Discussing with them, I asked

  Speaker 1: about a pastor that I knew back then on campus

  Speaker 1: who happens to be one of the pastors.

  Speaker 2: He said, he's in the U.S.

  Speaker 1: Then I think the pastor was answering me that I
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: think the crypto is doing well. I said, okay.

  Speaker 2: I was even chatting with another pastor.

  Speaker 1: I didn't even know that he's in Canada.

  Speaker 2: I just came in.

  Speaker 1: He just mentioned that he's been in Canada. I said,
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: I just found out.
• 4:19
  Speaker 2: I even thought he was going to be in this conference.

  Speaker 1: Today, The other pastor who happens to be his friend
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: now said, you mean he's in Canada? And then there's
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: this other senior, much more senior pastor who is seated.
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: So that other one was telling the other one and said, look,
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: let's ask pastor now. Because that pastor happens to be
• 4:35
  Speaker 1: like their mentor.

  Speaker 2: He said, let's ask pastor now. There's so much exodus.

  Speaker 1: There is so much migration, you.
• 4:42
  Speaker 2: Know, of the people in church and people.
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: Maybe they've tried to commit sensitive things into their hands.

  Speaker 1: They find out that they are not mission conscious. They
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: are just economic conscious. So over time, let me tell
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: you this. I don't want to say I'm in a

  Speaker 1: position to mention certain things. There are things that I

  Speaker 1: know in this body that in the last two, three years,

  Speaker 1: the more I get exposed to those things, the more

  Speaker 1: I commit myself to God. The more I humble myself.

  Speaker 1: the more I ask for mercy. So I found out

  Speaker 1: that over the years, we have committed ourselves to raising

  Speaker 1: members and not really disciples. I know Jesus Christ says,

  Speaker 1: you know, I think one of the apostles was mentioning
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: about teaching them to observe. That is to make disciples
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: of all nations, teaching them to.
• 5:45
  Speaker 2: All the things that I command. So here you see
• 5:52
  Speaker 2: people who were on fire on campus.

  Speaker 1: Who practically pastor and led a generation on campus seeking

  Speaker 1: greener pastor. You can't carry this kind of grace and

  Speaker 1: just be doing critical alone. and let nobody deceive you,

  Speaker 1: that you need economic empowerment is valid.

  Speaker 2: There is nothing wrong with that.

  Speaker 1: But you cannot, you cannot, like, I mean, when you

  Speaker 1: say self-sabotage, and you cannot replace what you command, you know,

  Speaker 1: to come in. And the reason why they allow people

  Speaker 1: so much saturation of people that are on fire, set

  Speaker 1: a place for God in Africa. And so, and then

  Speaker 1: there's challenge in Africa. So they had to open doors

  Speaker 1: of opportunity. Everybody have issues with private government, you know, instability,

  Speaker 1: you know, policies, issues, and then people migrated. People with grace,

  Speaker 1: people with power, people with fire migrated because of economic opportunities.

  Speaker 1: There is nothing wrong with studying. There is nothing wrong

  Speaker 1: in seeking economic opportunities. But most of the time, when
• 9:00
  Speaker 1: people move, they forget the underlining major vision.

  Speaker 2: That guides that movement. And so he says, the Lord
• 9:14
  Speaker 2: made me to lie down in green pastures.

  Speaker 1: He leaves me beside still waters. So something happened while
• 9:20
  Speaker 1: they were husking. So I have been praying that people

  Speaker 1: should just get it because membership is different from discipleship.

  Speaker 2: I need you to understand this.

  Speaker 1: And part of the things I want to share with

  Speaker 1: us is what we take us, you know, deeper in

  Speaker 1: God in order to really recognize the program of God.

  Speaker 1: All the things that, you know, Pastor Mewan was sharing,

  Speaker 1: he was talking about you not getting stalked. Look, there's

  Speaker 1: a way God knocks people in the head in a
• 9:47
  Speaker 1: place of intimacy. Except if God has not really dealt
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: with you. And if God has not dealt with you,
• 9:55
  Speaker 1: He is going to raise people to deal with you.

  Speaker 1: He is going to raise persecution. He can raise people

  Speaker 1: within your congregation. Listen to me.

  Speaker 2: He can raise people that are external people. To deal

  Speaker 2: with you. One way or the other. God will communicate.

  Speaker 2: His effectiveness. To you.

  Speaker 1: So the other pastor was asking.

  Speaker 2: Jesus pastor now. He said.

  Speaker 1: He said, because intelligent, strategic leaders. I thought we that

  Speaker 1: are having growing churches are the ones that have this

  Speaker 1: issue because in my church, there are people that have migrated, intelligent,

  Speaker 1: you know, economic. And you know you can't travel if
• 10:34
  Speaker 1: you don't have the money. These are people that were okay.
• 10:37
  Speaker 2: In the country.

  Speaker 1: They just had to migrate. And so listen to this.

  Speaker 1: Give us that scripture.

  Speaker 1: He said, let us pastor now. So what is going

  Speaker 1: to happen in church? Most of our people are moving.

  Speaker 1: And there's hardly any church that would not have experienced that,

  Speaker 1: except if you don't have access to this generation. So

  Speaker 1: the other senior pastor jokingly talked about, he said, well,

  Speaker 1: the people that will remain will just be in the
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: class of MCO, and all that stuff. Every time you

  Speaker 1: start having elders at TWU and all those. What I
• 11:21
  Speaker 1: said for the first time, these people are getting it.

  Speaker 1: And I thank God they got it because it is
• 11:26
  Speaker 1: not about membership.

  Speaker 2: It's about what? Discipleship.

  Speaker 1: And whoever will disciple will first be a disciple himself.

  Speaker 1: Praise the Lord. I said praise the Lord. So let's

  Speaker 1: go back to Ephesians. Let me quickly rush because I

  Speaker 1: need to Share certain things. He said, these are the gifts.

  Speaker 1: He is going to build his church, but we are

  Speaker 1: going to allow him to express himself through.

  Speaker 2: The people, in and through the people, to build the body. Pastor,

  Speaker 1: Are people who, when God is beginning to raise people

  Speaker 1: in their congregation, that we build the church and build

  Speaker 1: the body, they even go against it.

  Speaker 2: They go against it. Now, listen to this. He said,

  Speaker 2: and build up the church, the body of Christ. Yes,

  Speaker 2: next verse. Look at it, next verse.

  Speaker 1: The Bible says, this will continue until we all come

  Speaker 1: to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's

  Speaker 1: Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring

  Speaker 1: up to the full and complete standard of Christ.

  Speaker 2: So Christ has a standard. And so God is expecting
• 13:12
  Speaker 2: us To teach the people.

  Speaker 1: To feed the people. And they begin to mature. And

  Speaker 1: there is a standard that God expects. And we are

  Speaker 1: going to see what they are going to do with
• 13:23
  Speaker 1: that maturity. Let's go to the next verse.

  Speaker 2: Yes. The scripture says.

  Speaker 1: Then we will no longer be mature like children. We

  Speaker 1: won't be toast and blown about by every wind of

  Speaker 1: new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try

  Speaker 1: to trick us with lies. So clever.

  Speaker 2: They sound stupid. Those lies sound like the truth.

  Speaker 1: It's amazing. There are people who have abandoned their calling

  Speaker 1: and their ministry. And because they believe that it's also

  Speaker 1: things that I invoke. So you see people, they have

  Speaker 2: It didn't work.

  Speaker 1: They want to start calling people's phone numbers. Are you

  Speaker 1: getting what I'm saying? He wants to start describing people's underwear.

  Speaker 1: I'm not against the prophetic ministry or the apostolic ministry

  Speaker 1: I don't want to box myself to any of the offices.

  Speaker 1: Decide to express himself whichever way he would like to

  Speaker 1: express himself. And you must yield yourself. Because there are

  Speaker 1: phases in ministry. It takes you through a season. And

  Speaker 1: you get into another season. And you move into another season.

  Speaker 1: It takes somebody who is in deep communion with God.

  Speaker 1: To sense the shift that is taking place.

  Speaker 2: In his life. Praise the Lord. There are things that

  Speaker 1: The truth. The lies will sound so clever. Like the truth.

  Speaker 1: But it will not be difficult. Because you have raised

  Speaker 1: a generation. You have poured yourself into people. To have

  Speaker 1: become disciples. Who can design lies. And they can text

  Speaker 1: us spirits. And know which one is the truth. It's

  Speaker 2: You know they come. And then you tell them this

  Speaker 1: I said, you have planned programs for yourself. I don't think,

  Speaker 1: planned it for them. You have planned the programs for yourself.

  Speaker 1: Do you know there's a way we can organize church

  Speaker 1: for ourselves? We can be so much into ourselves. Sometimes

  Speaker 1: will realize that the Holy Spirit has been trying to

  Speaker 1: he's raising an external person, Somebody has seen me before.
