- 0:47Speaker 1: Hello, everybody, Happy Monday. I hope you all had a
- 0:53Speaker 1: great weekend. I had a wonderful weekend with Double H
- 0:57Speaker 1: and some high school friends and guys. I used to
- 1:00Speaker 1: say my old friends, but now that we are old,
- 1:03Speaker 1: I feel like that's a little rude, so I guess
- 1:06Speaker 1: I'm want to just say high school friends. First, I
- 1:10Speaker 1: want to let you know I am streaming from my
- 1:12Speaker 1: hotel in Dallas. I am here. I'm recording a special
- 1:15Speaker 1: podcast episode with the podcast Texas Wine and True Crime.
- 1:22Speaker 1: So I came up last night and I'm doing from
- 1:26Speaker 1: my hotel room. So I apologize for the lighting. If
- 1:29Speaker 1: you want to see the setup of my wonky thing
- 1:33Speaker 1: where I'm streaming today, you could go see it on
- 1:36Speaker 1: my Facebook page Terry true Crime, my Instagram, and I
- 1:39Speaker 1: even put it on TikTok and oh yeah, I am
- 1:42Speaker 1: Terry true Crime. I guess I forgot to tell you
- 1:44Speaker 1: all that. And welcome to Midday Missing. Midday Missing is
- 1:49Speaker 1: where I highlight current missing person cases that need more
- 1:54Speaker 1: attention because guys, a lot of cases do not get
- 1:59Speaker 1: there they need And then I got to thinking about
- 2:02Speaker 1: why that is a lot of it is because if
- 2:06Speaker 1: they're not the perfect victim people don't highlight it. But
- 2:10Speaker 1: now that I've been doing missing person cases I think
- 2:13Speaker 1: we started in May, there is a lot of them.
- 2:17Speaker 1: There could be a news broadcast every day that covered
- 2:22Speaker 1: nothing but missing person cases. I want that to sync
- 2:26Speaker 1: in because that is a huge challenge and we need
- 2:32Speaker 1: to fix that, even thinking about adding an additional livestream
- 2:37Speaker 1: in the new year, or maybe doing more cases or something,
- 2:40Speaker 1: because there are so many out there. For those of
- 2:44Speaker 1: you that are new here, True Crime and Wine Time
- 2:49Speaker 1: Productions is now TCWT Media and we are dedicated to
- 2:53Speaker 1: bringing you compelling true crime content, but in a safe
- 2:58Speaker 1: and supportive community. I also want to say we give
- 3:02Speaker 1: triggers when things are going to be rough. For example,
- 3:06Speaker 1: True Crime and Wine Time podcast last week was the
- 3:11Speaker 1: darkest JT has ever covered, and while it made an
- 3:18Speaker 1: impact on me. So we try to do it safe
- 3:22Speaker 1: and we try not to get too deep into the details,
- 3:25Speaker 1: but we do share information we think is pertinent. So
- 3:30Speaker 1: under our TCWT Media company, like I mentioned, we have
- 3:34Speaker 1: True Crime and Wine Time, which is our flagship podcast.
- 3:38Speaker 1: It's been around going on five years, and we started
- 3:41Speaker 1: live streaming on YouTube a year ago plus. It's on
- 3:44Speaker 1: all the podcast apps. We also have The hay Host
- 3:48Speaker 1: Show or just so you know, this Friday Night, I
- 3:52Speaker 1: have been invited to join The hay Host Show and
- 3:55Speaker 1: I am excited because they crack me the hell up.
- 4:00Speaker 1: They're funny. Now. We also do the investigation into the
- 4:04Speaker 1: disappearance of Chase Lackey. On that. We do have an
- 4:08Speaker 1: update that is coming out the PI that is helping us.
- 4:14Speaker 1: She is going through and letting me know exactly what
- 4:17Speaker 1: I can say and what I can't say. We don't
- 4:20Speaker 1: want to get in trouble or harm any investigation that
- 4:24Speaker 1: the police could possibly be doing if Harris County decides
- 4:28Speaker 1: to get off their ass, so you will see that
- 4:30Speaker 1: coming out. I am hoping it happens this week. We
- 4:35Speaker 1: also have Night Court, we have the transcripts, We have
- 4:39Speaker 1: Women on Death Row. We have our newest series, Dearest
- 4:42Speaker 1: Mother's Darkest Secrets, and you will find from that show
- 4:47Speaker 1: a lot of the women are also covered on Women
- 4:49Speaker 1: of Death Row by JT because these women are awful.
- 4:54Speaker 1: And then of course we have Midday Missing and we
- 4:58Speaker 1: are working on exciting news series that we will be
- 5:03Speaker 1: adding to the media company. So we are very excited
- 5:06Speaker 1: about that. And guys, We stream lives several days a week,
- 5:11Speaker 1: so you want to subscribe to our YouTube channel. It's
- 5:14Speaker 1: completely free and you can stay up to date on
- 5:17Speaker 1: all of our content. A lot of our content is
- 5:21Speaker 1: on Facebook and YouTube, but we are pushing more of
- 5:24Speaker 1: it to YouTube because we do cover such deep things
- 5:29Speaker 1: and dark things. Now, if you want more of me
- 5:33Speaker 1: and JT and our total craziness, can also become a
- 5:37Speaker 1: member channel member you can join on YouTube. There you
- 5:42Speaker 1: get Dearest Mother's Darkest Secrets a full week earlier than
- 5:47Speaker 1: the general public. You also get exclusive content like behind
- 5:52Speaker 1: the scenes footage, live chats with members only we're playing
- 5:56Speaker 1: a Happy Hour, plus bonus episodes. Also, you get special
- 6:01Speaker 1: badges and emojis to use in the live chats and comments.
- 6:06Speaker 1: And guys, I am actually learning how to chat better,
- 6:09Speaker 1: so that is good. Now when I'm live streaming, I
- 6:13Speaker 1: can't chat. I am not as talented as the fabulous GT.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I can't multitask like that. But if you want more craziness,
- 6:21Speaker 1: go hit join. I also want to tell you we
- 6:25Speaker 1: are getting close to our one thousand subscribers, and if
- 6:29Speaker 1: you are new here, you may not know, but when
- 6:32Speaker 1: we hit one thousand, we have some craziness coming for
- 6:37Speaker 1: a special event. JT's gonna do some crazy. It's just
- 6:43Speaker 1: gonna be fun. So stay tuned and invite everyone you
- 6:47Speaker 1: know to subscribe. Like I said, it's totally free, but
- 6:51Speaker 1: you're going to want to join our one thousand subscriber
- 6:54Speaker 1: party because it's gonna be bonkers. Now let's get in
- 7:00Speaker 1: to what we're talking about today, and I am going
- 7:03Speaker 1: to try to slow down because I know I've drank
- 7:05Speaker 1: way too much coffee this morning. And I also am
- 7:09Speaker 1: going to give you a four warning at the end
- 7:11Speaker 1: after we cover two cases. I do have an update
- 7:14Speaker 1: about something I'm going to warn you now. I'm angry,
- 7:18Speaker 1: i am pissed off, and my head wants to spend
- 7:22Speaker 1: like the Exorcist. So I'm trying to stay calm, but
- 7:26Speaker 1: just know that's coming. So today we're going to talk
- 7:30Speaker 1: about the chilling and the unsolved case of Brianna Maitland.
- 7:34Speaker 1: She's a young woman who vanished from a small town
- 7:38Speaker 1: in Vermont back in two thousand and four. Brianna was
- 7:43Speaker 1: seventeen years old when she disappeared. She was born on
- 7:46Speaker 1: October eighth, nineteen eighty six. She was from the small
- 7:51Speaker 1: town of Montgomery, Vermont, which is a rural area not
- 7:56Speaker 1: far from the Canadian border. Now, Brianna is to described
- 8:00Speaker 1: as a vibrant young woman. She has hazel brown eyes,
- 8:05Speaker 1: brown hair. She stands about five foot five and at
- 8:10Speaker 1: the time of her disappearance she weighed around one hundred
- 8:12Speaker 1: and eighteen pounds. Now she has some very distinguishing features.
- 8:17Speaker 1: She has a scar near her left eyebrow and appears
- 8:21Speaker 1: left nostril where she typically wore a small stud But guys,
- 8:27Speaker 1: it's a circumstances surrounding her disappearance that have haunted investigators
- 8:33Speaker 1: and her loved ones for nearly two decades. So on
- 8:38Speaker 1: March nineteenth, two thousand and four, Brianna finished her shift
- 8:42Speaker 1: at the Black Lantern Inn, which is a small restaurant
- 8:45Speaker 1: where she worked. She left the restaurant at around eleven
- 8:50Speaker 1: twenty pm, and she was driving her green nineteen eighty
- 8:54Speaker 1: five Oldsmobile eighty eight. Guys, both of my parents had
- 8:59Speaker 1: oldsmo Bill's eighty eight. When I read this for the
- 9:02Speaker 1: first time, I was like, oh my god, I know
- 9:05Speaker 1: exactly what that car looks like. Because I'm not a
- 9:07Speaker 1: car person anyway, Brianna was headed to a friend's house.
- 9:11Speaker 1: She never made it okay. The very next day, Brianna's
- 9:16Speaker 1: car was discovered about a mile away from the restaurant. Guys,
- 9:21Speaker 1: here's the really eerie creepy part. The car wasn't just
- 9:26Speaker 1: left on the side of the road. It had been
- 9:29Speaker 1: backed into an old, abandoned farmhouse, with the rear of
- 9:34Speaker 1: the car lodged into the side of the building. And
- 9:38Speaker 1: to this day, no one knows if this was a
- 9:41Speaker 1: deliberate act, a panic decision on her part, or something
- 9:47Speaker 1: far more sinister. Guys, I am going to say I
- 9:51Speaker 1: find it very sinister because maybe some people backup cars
- 9:56Speaker 1: better than me, because I don't backup car is very
- 9:59Speaker 1: s straight. It's better now that I have a backup camera.
- 10:03Speaker 1: But if you're in a state of panic, backing into
- 10:07Speaker 1: an old farmhouse wouldn't be easy. So that leads me
- 10:11Speaker 1: to think she wasn't panicked, that somebody maybe put her
- 10:16Speaker 1: car there is my two cents. Now, what's even more
- 10:21Speaker 1: troubling is that Brianna herself was nowhere to be found.
- 10:27Speaker 1: There was nothing that gave them any information about why
- 10:33Speaker 1: the car was there or anything, and no one has
- 10:37Speaker 1: reported seeing her after she left work and her disappearance
- 10:42Speaker 1: was immediately suspicious, and thankfully investigators quickly got involved. They
- 10:49Speaker 1: suspected foul play, but despite extensive efforts, there is still
- 10:55Speaker 1: no clear evidence to indicate what happened to her. Now,
- 11:01Speaker 1: if you're like me, you're probably thinking, was there any
- 11:05Speaker 1: sign of trouble? Was there any clues at the scene,
- 11:08Speaker 1: because you know, that's where our brain goes. We live
- 11:10Speaker 1: in this true crime world, right. Well, police did find
- 11:15Speaker 1: some scattered items near the car, but nothing that was
- 11:21Speaker 1: a you know, defiantly pointed that said this happened. Okay, Now,
- 11:27Speaker 1: I didn't see that any blood was found, so that
- 11:32Speaker 1: also adds more suspicion to me. Now, over the years,
- 11:37Speaker 1: her family and investigators have held on to hope, but
- 11:41Speaker 1: as if today, Brianna has never been found. And Guys,
- 11:48Speaker 1: it wasn't until March of twenty twenty two that there
- 11:52Speaker 1: was a potential breakthrough in the case. Vermont State Police
- 11:56Speaker 1: were able to use advanced DNA sequencing on a sample
- 12:01Speaker 1: found near the abandoned car, and guys, it was a
- 12:04Speaker 1: glimmer of hope in a case that had gone cold
- 12:08Speaker 1: for eighteen years. Unfortunately, it did not lead to an
- 12:14Speaker 1: arrest or any answers. Still, this investigation continues, with authorities
- 12:21Speaker 1: working closely with forensic labs in the hopes of finding
- 12:26Speaker 1: new leads. Now I'm going to go out on the
- 12:29Speaker 1: limb and say, because they're not naming a person of
- 12:33Speaker 1: interest or suspect, that the DNA wasn't in the CODAS system.
- 12:39Speaker 1: If anyone's new to true crime, codis is where DNA
- 12:43Speaker 1: is put and they can match it. So important thing
- 12:49Speaker 1: to note, Brihanna's family has never stopped searching for her
- 12:55Speaker 1: to seek answers. Okay, her parents, Bruce and Kelly, have
- 12:59Speaker 1: been deadfast in their efforts to keep her case alive
- 13:03Speaker 1: and in the public eye. In recent years, they have
- 13:07Speaker 1: collaborated with investigators, media outlets, and forensic experts to ensure
- 13:14Speaker 1: Brianna Brianna isn't forgotten. They also run a Facebook page
- 13:18Speaker 1: dedicated to her case, so when they're shared updates, they
- 13:24Speaker 1: put them out there to help also raise awareness. So
- 13:29Speaker 1: where does this case stand today in October twenty twenty four?
- 13:34Speaker 1: Like I said, Despite the DNA advancements in twenty twenty
- 13:37Speaker 1: two and the continued efforts, Brianna's disappearance remains unsolved over
- 13:44Speaker 1: the years, there have been various theories. Various theories, some
- 13:49Speaker 1: speculating foul play at the hands of someone she knew,
- 13:53Speaker 1: others suspecting a random act of violence. And of course,
- 13:57Speaker 1: in cases like these, we often hear whispers of connections
- 14:00Speaker 1: to other missing person cases or even larger criminal networks,
- 14:06Speaker 1: that no solid evidence has served to support any one theory.
- 14:12Speaker 1: What we do know is that Brionna Maitland, seventeen year
- 14:17Speaker 1: old with her whole life ahead of her, left work
- 14:20Speaker 1: one night and vanished without a trace. Aliens did not
- 14:25Speaker 1: swoop down and pick her up. I know y'all gets
- 14:28Speaker 1: tired of me saying that, but there has to be
- 14:31Speaker 1: a trace. Her car was found abandoned in a way
- 14:35Speaker 1: that leaves more questions than answers, and despite being decades
- 14:42Speaker 1: of investigations, her family is still waiting for closure. Now
- 14:48Speaker 1: don't have this written down, but I can't help. But wonder,
- 14:50Speaker 1: being that close to Canada, are Canada investigators helping in
- 14:56Speaker 1: this because I am assuming it's easy to you walk
- 15:00Speaker 1: across and get into Canada, just like you can from
- 15:03Speaker 1: Mexico into Texas. And we know that human trafficking and
- 15:09Speaker 1: sex trafficking is a big deal and it happens way
- 15:13Speaker 1: more than we want to think. So I wonder if
- 15:18Speaker 1: the Canadian police are involved. If anyone knows, drop a
- 15:23Speaker 1: message in the comments or shoot me a message, because
- 15:26Speaker 1: I'd like to know more about that. I am going
- 15:28Speaker 1: to reach out to Mike and his wife Amber from
- 15:32Speaker 1: Brew Crimes and say live in Canada and see if
- 15:34Speaker 1: they've heard. If I fan anything out, I'll give you
- 15:37Speaker 1: an update. But I want to ask you to please
- 15:41Speaker 1: make sure to follow her case on the Facebook page
- 15:44Speaker 1: dedicated to finding her, and once again, if you have
- 15:49Speaker 1: any information, contact the Vermont State Police at eight oh
- 15:54Speaker 1: two five two four five nine nine three. Guys, any
- 16:00Speaker 1: tiny detail could crack this case wide open. It is oh,
- 16:05Speaker 1: I got the itchies. It takes one little nibble of
- 16:09Speaker 1: information that can connect all of this other information. So
- 16:14Speaker 1: if you know of anything, even if you think it's
- 16:17Speaker 1: a rumor, sometimes there's truth in rumors, please share that.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Also remember to share her missing poster or flyer that
- 16:27Speaker 1: is posted on our social media. So our next case
- 16:33Speaker 1: is the mysterious disappearance of Amber Ray Johnston. Now, she
- 16:39Speaker 1: is a woman with so much life ahead of her
- 16:43Speaker 1: who seemed to just disappear into thin air, leaving behind
- 16:48Speaker 1: as always more questions than answers. Now, Amber's case is haunting,
- 16:55Speaker 1: but it's also filled with strange clues and dead ends.
- 17:00Speaker 1: So let's dive into this. Amber Rain Johnston was a
- 17:05Speaker 1: thirty six year old when she vanished on August seventeenth,
- 17:09Speaker 1: twenty twenty one. She was last seen in Bullhead City. Guys,
- 17:14Speaker 1: I like that name, Bullhead City. Can we make all
- 17:17Speaker 1: the bull Headed people move to Bullhead City, Arizona? Sorry,
- 17:21Speaker 1: Bullhead City, Arizona. I just thought it'd be cute if
- 17:23Speaker 1: they all moved there anyway. Amber was five foot six
- 17:28Speaker 1: and she weighed about one hundred and fifty pounds. She
- 17:31Speaker 1: had blonde or strawberry blonde colored hair, green eyes, and
- 17:35Speaker 1: two tattoos. One was a black ink tattoo on the
- 17:39Speaker 1: inside of her wrist and a flower on her ankle.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Her ears are also pierced. Now, Amber's story is one
- 17:47Speaker 1: of confusion and heartbreak. At the time of her disappearance,
- 17:52Speaker 1: she was living in an apartment in Bullhead City. That
- 17:56Speaker 1: all of her personal belongings were left behind, and guys,
- 18:01Speaker 1: that odd detail would make anyone wonder. I mean, why
- 18:06Speaker 1: would someone leave everything they own behind? Guys, I want
- 18:10Speaker 1: you to think about this. I go out for a
- 18:14Speaker 1: walk in our neighborhood all the time. If I don't
- 18:19Speaker 1: show up, you know something happened to me. Because I
- 18:24Speaker 1: would not leave all my belongings behind. I just wouldn't.
- 18:28Speaker 1: There are things that if I took those things, doubleh
- 18:32Speaker 1: would be like, Oh no, she left because she wanted to,
- 18:35Speaker 1: because she took this. Oh yeah, and she took the
- 18:38Speaker 1: dogs and the goat. So anytime someone goes missing and
- 18:43Speaker 1: leaves everything behind, that in itself makes it very suspicious
- 18:49Speaker 1: to me. But let's rewind to August sixteenth. Amber's boyfriend
- 18:54Speaker 1: had moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Amber was
- 18:58Speaker 1: supposed to follow him there via a bus. Now, the
- 19:01Speaker 1: next day, on August seventeenth, she was seen leaving, presumably
- 19:07Speaker 1: on her way to reunite with him. But guys, this
- 19:10Speaker 1: is where things get very blurry. Okay. On August nineteenth,
- 19:16Speaker 1: she posted a Facebook live video. In the video, she
- 19:20Speaker 1: was on a bus, but it is unclear if she
- 19:24Speaker 1: was actually headed to Myrtle Beach or perhaps somewhere else
- 19:28Speaker 1: like Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which was also mentioned as a possible destination. Now,
- 19:36Speaker 1: you might think the trail would be easy to follow
- 19:39Speaker 1: from here. After all, she's on a bus. There's a timestamp,
- 19:44Speaker 1: there's tickets, maybe security footage. I think all bus terminals
- 19:49Speaker 1: have video footage. I could be wrong. I am naive
- 19:52Speaker 1: at times, but the truth is, no one knows if
- 19:56Speaker 1: Amber ever made it to Myrtle Beach or even Pitts
- 20:00Speaker 1: or anywhere. The trail just vanishes. Now, what makes this
- 20:06Speaker 1: case even stranger is that after Amber disappeared, her food
- 20:11Speaker 1: stamp card was used by another woman. This woman claimed
- 20:16Speaker 1: that Amber's boyfriend had sold the card to her. Guys,
- 20:21Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that's against the law. Just so you know, now,
- 20:26Speaker 1: this piece of information is startling. It does not lead
- 20:29Speaker 1: us to any concrete answers. I mean, was it a
- 20:33Speaker 1: desperate attempt for money? Was Amber in danger before she disappeared? Now,
- 20:39Speaker 1: there were also reports in the months leading up to
- 20:42Speaker 1: her disappearance, Amber had been using drugs and exhibited signs
- 20:47Speaker 1: of paranorm paranoia. Could this have played a role into
- 20:51Speaker 1: what happened to her? Now, it's important to understand that
- 20:57Speaker 1: Amber's family has been searching hireless Lee for answers. Her
- 21:02Speaker 1: mother's continues to fight for her daughter's case to remain
- 21:06Speaker 1: in the spotlight, hoping someone somewhere will remember seeing her
- 21:12Speaker 1: or know something that can bring her home. It's cases
- 21:16Speaker 1: like this that leave us with so many what ifs.
- 21:19Speaker 1: What if Amber was in danger and left everything behind
- 21:23Speaker 1: to escape. What if someone hurt her after she got
- 21:27Speaker 1: off that bus. What if someone accosted her from the bus.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Think about it. You're on a bus, someone you're talking
- 21:37Speaker 1: to the bus to stop at places, stop to get off,
- 21:41Speaker 1: to get a coat, go the restroom, and then did
- 21:43Speaker 1: something to her. I mean, what if she never made
- 21:46Speaker 1: it to her intended destination. Now she is still missing
- 21:51Speaker 1: and her case remains unsolved, and she has family that
- 21:55Speaker 1: desperately needs answers, enclosures, and guys. I hope today's episode
- 22:02Speaker 1: shed some light on Amber's story and maybe just maybe
- 22:07Speaker 1: spark someone's memory. I also want to say, I want
- 22:11Speaker 1: to know more about the boyfriend. Just going to be honest. Yes,
- 22:16Speaker 1: I know we often say it's always the boyfriend the husband.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I just want to know more about him, that's all.
- 22:22Speaker 1: I'm not saying he was involved. I just want to
- 22:24Speaker 1: know why he's not out there screaming from the top
- 22:27Speaker 1: of his lungs. But if you have any tips, make
- 22:32Speaker 1: that call. Okay, and if you or anyone you know
- 22:36Speaker 1: has information about Amber's disappearance, please contact the Bullhead City
- 22:41Speaker 1: Police Department. Don't be bullheaded, just do it. Yes, Terry,
- 22:46Speaker 1: true crime made a joke. Now you can call the
- 22:49Speaker 1: police department at nine two eight seven sixty three nine
- 22:53Speaker 1: two zero zero. And Guys, Amber's case, like all of
- 22:58Speaker 1: the ones we cover, remind us that disappearances don't just
- 23:04Speaker 1: affect the person who vanishes. The ripple effect goes through
- 23:09Speaker 1: the entire family, friend groups, communities. I mean, it affects everyone.
- 23:16Speaker 1: So every lead matters, no matter how small. Okay, guys,
- 23:24Speaker 1: I warn you that I have an update, and I
- 23:28Speaker 1: want to share this update with you, But I'm warning
- 23:30Speaker 1: you again I am pissed off, and that typically means
- 23:34Speaker 1: I rant, hopefully not as bad as Nancy Grace. But
- 23:40Speaker 1: last month I told you about the family who adopted
- 23:44Speaker 1: several of the Turpen children and that that family was
- 23:48Speaker 1: arrested for abusing the children. Again, well, guys, Marcelino, his
- 23:54Speaker 1: wife Rosa, and their daughter Lenny's were sentenced for abusing
- 23:59Speaker 1: the children. And let me just say the simptence sentence
- 24:05Speaker 1: is absolute in total bullshit in my opinion, and I
- 24:09Speaker 1: personally think the courts have abused these children again with
- 24:14Speaker 1: their sentence. Okay. So, back in twenty eighteen, the Olgan
- 24:19Speaker 1: family took in five of the minor Turpin children. Okay,
- 24:24Speaker 1: they lived with Marcelino, his wife Rosa, and their adult
- 24:27Speaker 1: daughter Lenny's. Okay. In March of twenty twenty one, the
- 24:32Speaker 1: three of them were arrested by the Riverside County Sheriff's
- 24:35Speaker 1: office for alleged sexual and physical abuse of their foster children. So,
- 24:42Speaker 1: in addition to the five Turpin children, the Olgans abused
- 24:47Speaker 1: four other foster children. Okay, I'm not going to rehash
- 24:51Speaker 1: everything the family did, and I care about the four
- 24:55Speaker 1: foster children as much as the Turpin children, So don't
- 24:58Speaker 1: think I'm playing favorite what bothers they fuck out of me?
- 25:03Speaker 1: Excuse my language. The Terpen children had gone through hell
- 25:08Speaker 1: by their own parents, and our system child protective system
- 25:14Speaker 1: should have made damn sure these kids went to a
- 25:19Speaker 1: home where they could get what they needed. Okay, So
- 25:24Speaker 1: they didn't just physically and sexually and mentally abuse them.
- 25:29Speaker 1: They also made the children relive what happened to them
- 25:34Speaker 1: by their family, okay, made them revisit what was done
- 25:40Speaker 1: to them by their parents. Okay. These people are beyond
- 25:44Speaker 1: evil and I think they deserve to be put in
- 25:48Speaker 1: prison for thirty years for what they did. Okay, because
- 25:53Speaker 1: you re traumatized these five kids who had already been
- 25:57Speaker 1: through hell. They were put with you to be taken
- 26:00Speaker 1: care of. Why in the hell the system wasn't checking
- 26:05Speaker 1: on these kids every freaking day, belows my mind. They
- 26:10Speaker 1: were supposed to be a safe place, yet it was
- 26:13Speaker 1: another house of horrors. Okay. Plus they were abusing the
- 26:18Speaker 1: other four foster children. And guess what, guys, let me
- 26:23Speaker 1: tell you what the fucking state of California did. They
- 26:26Speaker 1: gave Marcelino the dad, seven years in prison. Seven. That's it.
- 26:33Speaker 1: This man physically, mentally, and sexually abused these children. He
- 26:38Speaker 1: made them eat vomit made them relive what their parents
- 26:42Speaker 1: did to them, and he got seven years seven. Okay,
- 26:50Speaker 1: it gets worse. His wife and daughter got four years probation, probation.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Excuse the fat of me, How in the hell is
- 27:03Speaker 1: that justice or punishment? I know, prison sentences in the
- 27:09Speaker 1: justice system is not revenge, but it is supposed to
- 27:12Speaker 1: be punishment. Seven years in prison in four years probation
- 27:18Speaker 1: is not justice. It is not punishment. It is a
- 27:21Speaker 1: freaking joke. And I feel so bad for the Urp
- 27:28Speaker 1: and children. Okay, I feel so bad for them now.
- 27:33Speaker 1: As I mentioned last month, they are doing better. You know,
- 27:37Speaker 1: they are rebuilding their lives. I sure in the hell
- 27:41Speaker 1: hope the state of California. I like California a lot.
- 27:47Speaker 1: You guys need to take care of all of these children.
- 27:51Speaker 1: You screwed them over again and you owe them. You
- 27:57Speaker 1: are just as accountable for them getting abused the second time,
- 28:01Speaker 1: and that's all the justice you basically Riverside courts told
- 28:06Speaker 1: these children what happened to you is worth seven years
- 28:11Speaker 1: in prison or four years probation. Tell me now, could
- 28:17Speaker 1: that not make them feel like they are not worth it?
- 28:21Speaker 1: I feel like that's not enough. It is not enough.
- 28:26Speaker 1: It is a slap on the wrist. And my opinion
- 28:30Speaker 1: and my heart hurts for all of the Turpin children. Okay.
- 28:35Speaker 1: And I'm going to just say this, this is not
- 28:37Speaker 1: a threat, but that family Olgan's better hope I never
- 28:42Speaker 1: see them in public, because I can't say I will
- 28:46Speaker 1: remember to be kind. I tried to approach everything with kindness. Guys,
- 28:52Speaker 1: I have tried to dig down deep today. I can't
- 28:55Speaker 1: find any kindness to them. None. Yes, they pled guilty,
- 28:59Speaker 1: but yes sweat. They play guilty because they got caught,
- 29:03Speaker 1: not because they're sorry. So I don't know how to
- 29:06Speaker 1: be kind to them. So they better hope to God
- 29:10Speaker 1: when they get out. And I'm in California, I don't
- 29:13Speaker 1: see them, Okay, because how the hell anyone thinks that
- 29:17Speaker 1: is punishment or justice is beyond me. Okay, I am
- 29:21Speaker 1: going to ask you please research the Turpin children. Jordan
- 29:26Speaker 1: is on social media, she has a store, she does talking.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Let's support the Turpin family. Okay, Let's do what we
- 29:33Speaker 1: can because the state of California failed them. So I
- 29:38Speaker 1: am going to ask. I will find the links to
- 29:40Speaker 1: the website. I will make sure me or somebody on
- 29:42Speaker 1: the team puts them out there because we as society
- 29:47Speaker 1: can do more for them than the state did. Okay, Okay, guys,
- 29:51Speaker 1: I have to calm down because I am so angry.
- 29:56Speaker 1: My head literally wants to spend and as you know,
- 29:59Speaker 1: I I've got to do that recording today, and I
- 30:02Speaker 1: don't think Brandy Diamond wants me all raging because I'm
- 30:06Speaker 1: here today. Yes, we are covering a case out of Austin,
- 30:10Speaker 1: and it's bad, but it is nothing like what was
- 30:14Speaker 1: done to the Turbin children. So I'm going to take
- 30:17Speaker 1: some deep breaths and I'm going to try really hard
- 30:21Speaker 1: to pack it in and put it right. Okay, So
- 30:26Speaker 1: thank you for letting me rant. I do want to
- 30:29Speaker 1: thank you again for all tuning in to today's Midday
- 30:32Speaker 1: Missing as we cover the tragic cases of Brianna Maitland
- 30:36Speaker 1: and Amber Johnston. Those are stories that deserve to be
- 30:41Speaker 1: told and remembered because Brianna and Amber are still out
- 30:46Speaker 1: there and their families deserve answers, So please be sure
- 30:52Speaker 1: to share their flyers and be sure to like their
- 30:57Speaker 1: pages on Facebook. So I look forward to seeing you
- 31:02Speaker 1: all again on Wednesday for our next episode of Midday Missing.
- 31:05Speaker 1: I promise I will try to calm down. Okay, I
- 31:11Speaker 1: will try, but I am sweating. I'm so pissed. Don't forget.
