- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Jackson Full Jack Wars vans welcome in to do vault daily presented by Jinjag.com and fueled by brass tax coffee.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all tuning in.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: So right now we're talking about three players that I didn't mention in my preview video for a mandatory mini camp which will be this week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings from about 9 a.m. to about 11 a.m.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: each day, media will be out there all three days, fans will be permitted to attend on Wednesday.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think you have to sign up for a free ticket for that practice though, not exactly sure, but I'm sure you can check with the Jaguar Socials or website to figure that out.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: Manitory mini-camp is the next step in this kind of process of building the off-season and then you finish up with OTA number seven next Monday or Tuesday I believe and then you have a break until training camp starts in late July.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_00]: So this is a time for players to continue to put their best foot forward, there's three players I'm keeping an eye on here and
- 0:59[SPEAKER_00]: They all kind of are in a similar place on the field.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm excited to get into it.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: If you want like a bigger picture preview on everything that I'm looking for in this mandatory mini camp week, you can take a look at the previous video.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: But right now we're taking a look at these three players I'm watching closely.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm excited to get into it.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all tuning in supporting the channel.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: You can also hit that high button.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: You know, let's check out jingjag.com.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: Pick up some new dovall gear.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, offensive line defense of line can be a little bit difficult to evaluate.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: During this time period, I mean, really, in general, during practice, but especially during this time period where it's not full pads, it's not full go, anything like that.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: The fact that these three players I'm watching closely are all on the offensive or defensive line, it might be a little difficult, but I am going to be watching Walker Little for one.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_00]: He's a guy that is going into the second year of a contract that he signed with Trimbalki and the previous regime.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: It hasn't aged very well overall, but I think that despite no longer being the Jaguar starting left tackle, he's still a valuable role player for sure.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_00]: He did a good job filling in at guard last year when he was asked to do that over at right guard.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_00]: deal as an age great no question about it 15 million dollars per year basically actually 13.5 million dollars per year he signed in 2024 towards the end of the season only deal that trend bulky signed during the season with Walker little for whatever reason but yeah
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: The reason I'm watching him so closely, not only because he could potentially have trade value for a team that if they have an offensive line injury, whether that be a tackle or guard, a team might be willing to trade for him during training camp, during the season, before the trade deadline, etc.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's a big part of it, like how is he progressing?
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: But for the
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: If Corve and Lynn, which we don't know his timeline, it's kind of been suggested.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: training camp for coal band landmen, but it's also been suggested that towards the end of the year, he tore his ACL.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I think it's very unclear.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think it would be presumptuous to assume he'll be ready for a training camp.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think it'd be presumptuous to assume he wouldn't be ready for the start of the regular season because at this point we just don't know.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's all speculation.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: Once we get some more concrete information, that will be very helpful.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: with not having that concrete information and knowing he did have a surgery and he did have in the issue and that he's not practicing right now.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, seeing how Walker Little's performing is pretty important.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: And part of that is, I think Josh Heinz Allen was, even though you can't hit the quarterback can't even really get close to the quarterback.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think Josh Heinz Allen was given Walker Little the business last practice that we were at.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: So is it surprising that Josh Heinz Allen, excuse me, is, is,
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: given Walker little difficulties, no.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: But that doesn't make it any less concerning of COVID and land and can't play.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: COVID and land and really came in and secured that position to the point where the Jaguar is wanting to extend him before the season ended.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: And part of that is he can play four different positions on the offensive line.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: But part of it is how well he played.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know, when he got inserted at left tackle, when Walker little got injured.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: So if Walker Little has to play early on for the Jaguars this year, which is, again, at this point entirely speculative, you're talking about facing not Miles Garrett anymore in week one, but Jared versus a dang good player that I thought played really well against Walker Little last year when the Jaguars played the ramps.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's still a big time assignment to figure out, and it's not like he's getting traded at the last minute.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be able to go through training camp and
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: I do feel bad for him.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's no longer a ram, but he's gonna give Walker little problems.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: If Walker little's out there and Walker little doesn't start playing better football in my opinion.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: With the Broncos, you've got a variety of past pressures.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: I know one of them just got in trouble, Jonathan Cooper, but don't want to speculate on that, but even without him, they still have Benito and they've just got a lot of talent up front overall.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: The Patriots are a team
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: has talent, the bingles have some talent as well, but really it's those first two weeks where you want to get off to a hot start.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: You have a tough early season schedule.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, you're gonna be favorite to beat the Browns, but you're at the Broncos, versus the Patriots, at the Bengals, you play the Eagles and the Texans in London.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: That is a tough stretch to start the season in my opinion, not a unmanageable stretch, but a tough stretch, and combine that with the fact that you have 11 out of your 17 games away from Jacksonville this year, and yes, you want it to get off to a good start.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: You want it to absolutely at the very least, beat the Browns in week one.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, Walker Little could be pretty important.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: The other guys are, I think, important as well.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: The other two players, they both play on the opposite side of Walker Little and the defensive side playing edge, Danny Striggow and Wesley Williams.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: You could throw B.J.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: Green in this conversation too.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's actor for you if you wanted to, but the reason I'm saying Striggow and Wesley Williams, I think they're the two leading candidates as of this moment.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: for the Jaguar's Edge 3 spot.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, I have Josh Heinz Allen, great player, drive on Walker, great player, and then, what is it after that?
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: You have an undrafted for Agent from last year and Danny Strigo, undrafted for Agent from last year and B.J.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: Green, Leslie Williams, a fourth round pick that the Jaguar's traded up for this year.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: And you also have Zach Derfey, is there a potential for a reagent signing at some point sure can, you know, Dennis Gardek, rush the passer from the edge.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yeah, he can do that as well, but you're gonna have an edge three that at the very least plays a good amount.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: So, and it could be both of these guys.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: Edge three and four, Danny Strio Wesley Williams, they could both play a lot.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: but it would be nice to see one of them be able to impact the quarterback at a high level.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: And there are other ways for the jackwares to get home.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: Again, we talked about Dennis Gardek, Josh Hines Allen, Trayvon Walker.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think Eric Arm said was Russian the pastor well last year before he had a
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: hand injury and I think Rook Aurora wrote can bring something as a password sure as well on the anterior.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not all on these two guys to come in and be like super star designated past rush types and that's not even their skill set really in my mind.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: They're both balanced players but can can these guys step up be J.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: Green you can throw in there as well and really show that they can make an impact when they are on the field.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: during mini-camp training camp and then into the pre-season and then into the regular season.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: If they can do that, that would be a really big development for the Jaguar's defense.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think they've got a lot of things figured out at a high level on defense, great run defense unit.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: You've got two star pass wrestlers.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: You've got a super star corner in the making and Travis Hunter.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: You've got good pieces all over the field.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: You've got leadership and all this stuff.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: Edge 3 is still kind of that, one of those questions.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm excited, I like Danny Sturgo's game a lot.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think, had he not gotten injured last year, maybe he would have been able to see even more.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think Wesley Williams is an underrated draft pick that a lot of people kind of didn't give the jackwares a favorable analysis of that, but I think that he's somebody who has the ability.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: to make an impact as well, and so I'm going to be watching these guys because again, if they can make an impact during the regular season, that's going to be a major development because overall what you got from some of the Jaguars veteran edge depth last year that you expected to be a little bit better wasn't as much as you thought you could get out of guys like Augma and Smoot.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, those are the three players beyond who I've talked about already that I am really excited to see because it's just kind of, um,
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: with Walker Little, I don't know if excited is the right word.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: Curious to see.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: And then, I think Wesley Williams and Danny Sturgo could be really good pieces for the Jaguar.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: So let me know who you're looking at in the comments section below if you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all have a good one.
