The Apostle Paul wrote that God would render to every person according to their deeds: "To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath" (Romans 2:6-8). Paul was eager that saints "be established in the faith."
Those whose goals are glorification in the resurrection, honor from God, immortality, and eternal life must be patient in well-doing. Our walk must be continuous, not "on again—off again" in a vacillating manner. Patient…
