Dr. Innis: Threatened Species Day
Dr. Innis Cloete from Kingsway Vet Centre joined Bec and Morro on the show today to talk about Threatened Species Day. Threatened Species Day is held on September 7 every year, marking the date the last known thylacine, or Tasmanian tiger, died in captivity in 1936. It gives us a chance to think about Australia's unique wildlife and what we can do to prevent more species from disappearing. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
