  Speaker 2: anything that God wants to do for us. He wants

  Speaker 2: to have a relationship with us, So he paid the price,

  Speaker 2: and so Christ has redeemed us from the curse of

  Speaker 2: the law. Now, let's break it down a little more.

  Speaker 2: The curse of the law is the judgment that came

  Speaker 2: from breaking God's commandments. Right, who has not broken a

  Speaker 2: commandment of God? Well, if there's a curse, the law

  Speaker 2: actually accuses us. Think of it as a police officer. Right,

  Speaker 2: when you break the law, you get arrested, or at
• 10:50
  Speaker 2: least you should get arrested. Right when we break the love,

  Speaker 2: we break the speed limit, Well, what'sta penalty is we
• 10:58
  Speaker 2: get a ticket? You break guy's commandment, and then there's

  Speaker 2: a curse. Right, But Jesus didn't just erase the record.

  Speaker 2: He became the curse in our place. Let me say

  Speaker 2: our disobedience, but he became. Now you know how deep

  Speaker 2: that is. He became the curse in our place? Man,

  Speaker 2: we got so many benefits from the cross, and a

  Speaker 2: lot of people don't even know, don't even understand. That's

  Speaker 2: why we're out living a victorious life because we don't know.

  Speaker 2: He didn't just remove the cross the curse. He didn't
• 11:51
  Speaker 2: just pay for the curse. Right, Just think of let's

  Speaker 2: think about going to jail. Somebody can come and bail you.

  Speaker 2: But he did more than that. He didn't just bail

  Speaker 2: you out. He actually took your place in the jail cell.

  Speaker 2: He's like, I will take his penalty. We were all cursed,

  Speaker 2: but he became the curse in our place. And why,

  Speaker 2: I mean, what does that mean? You see? That means

  Speaker 2: you don't have to be bound by what your father

  Speaker 2: did or your mother or their parents before them. You

  Speaker 2: don't have to be bound by any generational curse. Just

  Speaker 2: think about your family line, think about some of the

  Speaker 2: things that you were born into. It wasn't even your decision, right,

  Speaker 2: You didn't have a choice of the parents you wanted

  Speaker 2: to have, or the place you wanted to live, or

  Speaker 2: even the time and the generation you wanted to show

  Speaker 2: up on this earth. No, we had no power over that.

  Speaker 2: But I know of families that have dealt with drugs.

  Speaker 2: The mother and the father dealt with it, so the

  Speaker 2: children deal with it, or alcohol or sexual immorality. Like,

  Speaker 2: look at how many curses have been passed down from
• 13:18
  Speaker 2: generation to generation. But it stops, It stops with Jesus Christ. Yaw,

  Speaker 2: now you got to put disciplines in place. If it's alcohol,

  Speaker 2: stop going to those places that sell that alcohol that

  Speaker 2: you that you fall to, or change your association. Get

  Speaker 2: around people that will help you stay strong. Don't get

  Speaker 2: around people that are going to push you over the cliff.

  Speaker 2: Get around people that will hold you accountable and not

  Speaker 2: just let you go off and do whatever and don't
