Africa Bitcoin Corporation has placed its CEO Warren Wheatley and CIO Akshay Karan on precautionary leave following debarment orders from South Africa’s FSCA — which also targeted Tatum Wheatley, the company’s head of media — barring them from financial services roles. Though the orders target only individuals, not the company, ABC proactively removed all three from executive positions as a safety measure.
