- 1:15Speaker 2: a great weekend. We'll get into some of the weekend
- 1:18Speaker 2: cheers and jeers. I know last week people were a
- 1:21Speaker 2: couple of people texted in they were upset. Yeah, right,
- 1:24Speaker 2: because because after the long holiday weekend last weekend, you know,
- 1:26Speaker 2: the weekend was present day weekend, we skipped the cheers
- 1:29Speaker 2: and jeers on a Tuesday. Yeah, so that's the of
- 1:33Speaker 2: all the stuff, that's your favorite segment. All right, Well,
- 1:37Speaker 2: look I hope your up. Your weekend was good. The
- 1:39Speaker 2: Olympics are over.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I watched all of it, and I'm so sad
- 1:44Speaker 3: it's over. You did, I watched zero. I was gonna no,
- 1:48Speaker 3: I take that back. I was at a hotel restaurant
- 1:51Speaker 3: and I watched women's hockey and that's when I realized
- 1:53Speaker 3: women's hockey exists. Never knew times I never huh.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's like all about rooting for America. I
- 2:03Speaker 2: thought you would be down for that. Great. I'm just
- 2:05Speaker 2: not into the Olympics, you know. It's uh, it's weird.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I feel like the Olympics are always around. It used
- 2:11Speaker 2: to be every four years, yeah, because it.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Used to be every never.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Well years ago, it used to be every four years
- 2:17Speaker 2: you had the summer and the Winter Olympics. And then
- 2:19Speaker 2: they started splitting it up. Or it's like, you know,
- 2:21Speaker 2: this year was the summer, and then two years later
- 2:23Speaker 2: it was the winter. Two years later, so that's every
- 2:25Speaker 2: two years as opposed every four years. Yeah, and uh
- 2:29Speaker 2: now it just feels like the minute we stopped talking
- 2:31Speaker 2: about this, now we're talking about the Summer Olympics in
- 2:33Speaker 2: Los Angeles as we are, right, and then you know,
- 2:36Speaker 2: it's just no.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Hell no, I don't care.
- 2:39Speaker 2: No, I just don't care. Now, I did see something.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Living in the Olympic village comes with very strict rules.
- 2:45Speaker 2: So when you stay in the Olympic village, no leaving
- 2:48Speaker 2: the village without permission. Really, no no parties. Athletes must
- 2:54Speaker 2: leave two days after their event. You can't just hang
- 2:57Speaker 2: in chill and no alcohol whatsoever. Banned band from the
- 3:02Speaker 2: Olympic villa.
- 3:03Speaker 5: It makes sense you're there to win, yeah, but also
- 3:06Speaker 5: you have two days after two parties.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember, well there's no party. I mean, we
- 3:10Speaker 2: had Sean White on the show years ago. We got
- 3:12Speaker 2: to see his hold his metal, which is pretty cool.
- 3:16Speaker 2: And I remember when he was going to the Olympics,
- 3:19Speaker 2: like he shipped in his own mattresses and stuff.
- 3:21Speaker 6: Because they suck there. They get like hardboard boxes.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Really, because I did see there was a.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I don't know what. I think she was a snowboarder,
- 3:30Speaker 2: but she was saying that the beds the card are
- 3:34Speaker 2: the beds cardboard. I guess the ones here in Italy
- 3:36Speaker 2: they were not the cardboard. They weren't using those. But
- 3:39Speaker 2: she's but yeah, she had said, no, they're not cardboard,
- 3:43Speaker 2: as you could see she was actually they're actually pretty comfortable.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Probably I'm not sure who it was. Yeah, hey get
- 3:52Speaker 2: ready guys, this summer Olympics will be here before Yeah,
- 3:58Speaker 2: we were talking about last week and we had the
- 4:01Speaker 2: video on our Instagram. You know, Menace was talking about
- 4:04Speaker 2: how he hates when you go to a restaurant. It
- 4:06Speaker 2: kind of like a restaurant pet peeve thing when you
- 4:08Speaker 2: go to a restaurant and you know, everybody at the
- 4:10Speaker 2: table didn't go online before they got there, order before
- 4:15Speaker 2: they even sit down, because Menace, at what were you saying?
- 4:17Speaker 2: You went somewhere with medic and he like you were
- 4:19Speaker 2: like halfway through your meal. He's already standing up. This
- 4:21Speaker 2: is visually necessary.
- 4:22Speaker 7: The topic was I said that I'm not a big
- 4:25Speaker 7: fan of everybody's in a group setting and we're ready
- 4:29Speaker 7: to order, and then there's one person that says I
- 4:31Speaker 7: need another minute, Like does it really take you more
- 4:35Speaker 7: than forty seconds to look at a menum? Like okay,
- 4:38Speaker 7: that's the one that I want a baby child and
- 4:42Speaker 7: I need I can't figure.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Out what I want a baby child. Yeah, it takes
- 4:46Speaker 2: you minutes to sign The baby child would be easy
- 4:48Speaker 2: because there'll be four things on the menu, chicken nuggets, kizza.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Menace is one thousand percent correct on this than if
- 4:56Speaker 5: that person is just sticking around, you make them go last,
- 4:59Speaker 5: but you definitely make them go.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Yeah, but you're you're also the same. You know, Sea
- 5:03Speaker 2: Bass doesn't enjoy the salt. Well, the only thing he
- 5:06Speaker 2: enjoys the social aspect of anything. Yeah, I do too.
- 5:09Speaker 5: How dare you have talked about it millions millions of times,
- 5:11Speaker 5: like a lot of places. Regardless, here's my move, but
- 5:13Speaker 5: my move for this, for this problem, Menace is I
- 5:15Speaker 5: was just out with some people and this happened. Whether
- 5:17Speaker 5: all we're all talking and nobody's paying attention. Never send
- 5:21Speaker 5: the waiter away. Yeah, have to be a leader like
- 5:23Speaker 5: a Mensa or Sea Bass who takes control of Oh
- 5:26Speaker 5: and I don't care if you don't know either, you
- 5:28Speaker 5: make something it up because that.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Gets the ball rolling. And yeah, we'll decide, because it's
- 5:31Speaker 2: just true freaking food. For God's sake, I'm ready to
- 5:33Speaker 2: take my order.
- 5:34Speaker 7: And then that kind of just like gets the dummies
- 5:36Speaker 7: the scramble exactly.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yes, finally make a decision. You know, somebody had food.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Ever, it's somebody made a point on the text that
- 5:46Speaker 3: I kind of see their point menace as for somebody
- 5:49Speaker 3: who hates to eat alone and won't eat alone in
- 5:51Speaker 3: a restaurant, Yeah, when you are with people, shouldn't you
- 5:54Speaker 3: be stoked that you're with people and not alone?
- 5:57Speaker 2: No, I am happy, you think.
- 5:59Speaker 7: Instead, it's like getting I'm prepared my whole day to
- 6:03Speaker 7: go to this nice restaurant and to eat, And I
- 6:06Speaker 7: would like, why am I prologue?
- 6:08Speaker 2: Let's rush it?
- 6:09Speaker 7: Why am I prolonging the eating part? The social part
- 6:12Speaker 7: can happen while the eating is happening.
- 6:14Speaker 6: Or after h but as soon as you're done eating,
- 6:16Speaker 6: you leave, So you know, anyway, I brought this up because.
- 6:20Speaker 2: But I'm just saying like that, like I'm willing to
- 6:23Speaker 2: sit around. Okay, I brought up because it around a
- 6:25Speaker 2: stupid but I'll still do it. The phone was totally listening,
- 6:27Speaker 2: and so I got this thing pitched to me. It
- 6:29Speaker 2: was on Instagram and there's this, you know, uh, like
- 6:32Speaker 2: a normal the numbers thing about the restaurant, the pet peeves.
- 6:35Speaker 2: What restaurant patrons hate the most are the waiters when
- 6:39Speaker 2: they disappear.
- 6:40Speaker 6: Which we talked about him.
- 6:42Speaker 3: We mentioned this when we talked about it. At first.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I do agree with you on the building.
- 6:45Speaker 2: When it's done, it's done.
- 6:47Speaker 8: That that party, I think everybody agrees on, like you,
- 6:51Speaker 8: you're ready.
- 6:52Speaker 3: All the plates have been sitting there. They're empty.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Everybody ate everything, drinks are empty, and like the waiter
- 6:58Speaker 2: waitresses nowhere to be found. That the number one if
- 7:00Speaker 2: you just talked to people overall, that's their number one restaurant,
- 7:04Speaker 2: pet pete, and I need.
- 7:05Speaker 7: You to sit the bill there and me like you know,
- 7:08Speaker 7: take out my monocle and look over every little and
- 7:12Speaker 7: then you go off for another half hour, and then
- 7:14Speaker 7: I give you my card and then you go off again,
- 7:16Speaker 7: like no, dude, here's my card, let's pay for it.
- 7:18Speaker 2: The second thing on the list is snooty help, which
- 7:22Speaker 2: I don't like. I don't like any place though, and
- 7:24Speaker 2: there's a lot of it these days, where it's almost
- 7:27Speaker 2: like why am I the one saying thank you? Yeah,
- 7:29Speaker 2: thank you, have a good one, and then they look
- 7:32Speaker 2: at you very common like why am I I'm the customer?
- 7:34Speaker 3: Or when they're rude the whole time, but then when
- 7:36Speaker 3: they give you the bill they handwrite thanks you were
- 7:42Speaker 3: a bit.
- 7:42Speaker 4: The whole time.
- 7:44Speaker 6: This is all theater. I am happy to get up
- 7:47Speaker 6: and like go find somebody, like, I'm not just gonna like.
- 7:52Speaker 2: By the way, the next thing it's on this is
- 7:54Speaker 2: cold food. So let's say they This just happened to
- 7:57Speaker 2: me recently. I was at a place. I ordered a
- 7:59Speaker 2: couple of whatever the soup of the day was. They
- 8:02Speaker 2: he dropped it off and just walked away, not saying, hey,
- 8:05Speaker 2: get anybodynything. No, no spoon, there's no spoon on the
- 8:08Speaker 2: table at all. And I go, hey, man, hey, hey,
- 8:12Speaker 2: I like, I like, no, you're not running away now,
- 8:14Speaker 2: like get of a spoon? Oh yeah, sorry, Like, but
- 8:16Speaker 2: they would have left and the food would have gotten cold.
- 8:19Speaker 7: Another night of mine is I could see the food
- 8:22Speaker 7: that is mine sitting there and the waiters are just
- 8:25Speaker 7: you know.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Chopping it up and is walking around. Yeah, and then
- 8:30Speaker 2: and then the other thing on the list. So yeah,
- 8:32Speaker 2: waiters who disappear, snoodie help cold food, and the menace
- 8:37Speaker 2: people who use their cell phones while they're eating.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Oh damn.
- 8:41Speaker 2: So there there you go.
- 8:43Speaker 9: You're forwarder against it.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I'm being sarcastic. Ye, he's always all about it.
- 8:47Speaker 10: Well, if you're don't want to waste time there and
- 8:49Speaker 10: then you should put your phone down.
- 8:50Speaker 6: I don't even like, I don't.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I hate.
- 8:52Speaker 6: I'm one of those we hate the QR code menus,
- 8:54Speaker 6: and it's honestly for me, it's because it looks rude.
- 8:58Speaker 6: It looks like I like, I'm problem is I'm looking
- 9:00Speaker 6: at you like it's just rude.
- 9:02Speaker 3: But here's the thing.
- 9:03Speaker 2: If you're going to have and there's no reason to
- 9:05Speaker 2: have those anymore.
- 9:06Speaker 8: You know, adah, But if you're gonna have a QR
- 9:11Speaker 8: code menu, have a mobile friendly.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Version because everyone usually it's a desktop version that comes
- 9:17Speaker 2: up and you have to zoom in turn the phone
- 9:20Speaker 2: like horizontal so you can even read it because the
- 9:23Speaker 2: text is like do you know what's dope?
- 9:25Speaker 7: Though it's so small it's blurry. Yeah, they're there are
- 9:28Speaker 7: a national chain. They might not be everywhere, but that
- 9:31Speaker 7: one place, Sushiet that we like. They have the the
- 9:35Speaker 7: QR code and you can scan the menu.
- 9:37Speaker 2: You can order everything. There's a there's a place by
- 9:41Speaker 2: my house, a dumpling place. It's called that place one
- 9:44Speaker 2: by dumpling, same thing, like that's how you order everything.
- 9:47Speaker 11: Yeah, I like.
- 9:48Speaker 2: And then the other thing I like at the table
- 9:50Speaker 2: is if you're looking for uh, like a waiter or
- 9:52Speaker 2: somebody there's like a call button. Yeah yeah, so it
- 9:56Speaker 2: doesn't make a sound, but it gives them a It
- 9:59Speaker 2: gives them a notification behind the count, and then they
- 10:00Speaker 2: come out and they go, hey, what do you need?
- 10:02Speaker 3: That is awesome?
- 10:03Speaker 6: And make sure at Kura there's still not rude because
- 10:05Speaker 6: when you pay, a little cartoon person comes up and
- 10:08Speaker 6: like bows, thank you.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yes, I'll give you a little choyeems to be efficient, right,
- 10:13Speaker 2: so you've been thank you eighty four Woodie send us

- 10:25Speaker 2: What's up, podcast listeners? It's menace.
- 10:28Speaker 7: Do you remember when I walked forty miles in one
- 10:31Speaker 7: day and you watched it live on the internet. I
- 10:33Speaker 7: did that with Mint Mobile. Yeah, every single phone that
- 10:37Speaker 7: was streaming that day, I was using the mint Mobile network.
- 10:41Speaker 7: And the reason I did that is because I paid
- 10:43Speaker 7: for every phone myself and I needed a reliable network.
- 10:46Speaker 7: But also I didn't want to break the bank. You know,
- 10:49Speaker 7: you can get unlimited for fifteen bucks a month. Look
- 10:52Speaker 7: at your phone bill right now, and I'm sure. Maybe
- 10:55Speaker 7: you might be paying for somebody else as well, and
- 10:58Speaker 7: you might think, oh, it's just too hard to switch.
- 11:00Speaker 2: No it's not.

- 11:25Speaker 2: Do you guys ever have your your card get declined
- 11:29Speaker 2: all the time, like an embarrassing debit card? Yeah, like
- 11:33Speaker 2: a like good credit card. Sorry, so this this card
- 11:36Speaker 2: is not going through it, I mean not for years.
- 11:37Speaker 2: But yeah, man, I had not. I had a problem
- 11:43Speaker 2: with that for a minute there with U. I got
- 11:45Speaker 2: a Wells Fargo visa card like I travel, Yeah right,
- 11:51Speaker 2: I'm different places. And if you looked at the history
- 11:55Speaker 2: of how I use the card, it's you know, it's
- 11:58Speaker 2: it's not out of the ordinary. Yeah, but they kept
- 12:02Speaker 2: like flagging it and I have to have to call
- 12:04Speaker 2: them and go like all right, yeah, we're good, Okay,
- 12:06Speaker 2: do you recognize this charge? Do you recognize the place?
- 12:08Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, they think that can't be nice. It'd
- 12:12Speaker 2: be one thing like Greg never leaves, you know, but
- 12:15Speaker 2: like I'm always I feel like I'm always on the go.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I don't know. It happens to me a lot with hotels.
- 12:21Speaker 12: Yeah, so you're like flagged for fraud.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and so they shut the card down and so
- 12:26Speaker 2: you can't you can't use it until they turn it
- 12:28Speaker 2: back on. But in the meantime, it's like you're trying
- 12:30Speaker 2: to pay for something online or you're at a store
- 12:32Speaker 2: and you're trying to use it, and so it's so
- 12:34Speaker 2: it's just embarrassing.
- 12:36Speaker 5: That's okay, that's an accidental or inadvirtuin flagging. Have you
- 12:39Speaker 5: ever been flagged for just not having money or yes?
- 12:42Speaker 6: Yeah, my god, dude, no.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Because I wasn't using I didn't get a credit card
- 12:53Speaker 2: until pretty late, you know. Yeah, I don't even remember what. Yeah,
- 12:56Speaker 2: and so I would use cash. I think I did
- 12:58Speaker 2: tell you, Like it's not that I had a bunch
- 13:00Speaker 2: of money, but like when I was, you know, short
- 13:02Speaker 2: on cash. I did that one thing that one time
- 13:04Speaker 2: with the check because when you said deposit stuff into ATM,
- 13:08Speaker 2: you would have to use the envelope and put cash
- 13:11Speaker 2: or to check in the envelope. I would just put
- 13:12Speaker 2: an empty envelope and say there was like, you know,
- 13:14Speaker 2: fifty bucks in there, so I can withdraw the twenty
- 13:17Speaker 2: or whatever I needed to be able to buy my
- 13:19Speaker 2: bus pass, you know, knowing that I was getting paid
- 13:22Speaker 2: the next day, and I would then take the paycheck.
- 13:24Speaker 6: Oh yeah, sorry, you're literally scamming yourself. Yeah well yeah,
- 13:30Speaker 6: like paying yourself forward, like how.
- 13:32Speaker 2: People would like, you know, date a check. Yea, yeah,
- 13:34Speaker 2: I'm reading a check. Don't cash this until Monday.
- 13:38Speaker 7: Also, like your debit card, you're off on you know
- 13:42Speaker 7: the amount, there's like some random charges coming through and
- 13:45Speaker 7: you thought you had that twenty bucks in your account,
- 13:47Speaker 7: but I did.
- 13:48Speaker 2: That's the thing like when the debit cards first started
- 13:50Speaker 2: being a thing, I didn't really use them for I
- 13:52Speaker 2: would go get cash, you know, I would pay. I
- 13:53Speaker 2: would still pay with cash because I didn't trust a
- 13:56Speaker 2: debit card because I'm like, this is access to your
- 13:58Speaker 2: bank account.
- 13:58Speaker 3: I like directly you had an impact on me because
- 14:01Speaker 3: I use my debit card for everything.
- 14:02Speaker 2: But now I know, no, it's a much easier because
- 14:05Speaker 2: like whenever if there's a despair or dispute, yeah.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Yeah, you got your money.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that money's out of your account until they figured
- 14:11Speaker 2: it out and then put it back in with a
- 14:12Speaker 2: credit card like you were out nothing.
- 14:14Speaker 6: Yeah, you're like, I'm just not paying you that for this.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Sorry. Yeah, let them figure it out. Yeah, exactly. Anyway,
- 14:19Speaker 2: Snoop Dogg's credit card was declined during a dinner party
- 14:23Speaker 2: at this restaurant you know, is over in Italy for
- 14:24Speaker 2: the Olympics, so he repaid the owners with free tickets
- 14:28Speaker 2: to the twenty twenty six Winter Olympics snowboarding finals.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:33Speaker 2: By the way, dude, Snoop was all over the Olympics.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I mean he was everywhere, like you would see him,
- 14:38Speaker 2: like the ski stuff for Oh, they're Snoop watching the
- 14:42Speaker 2: figure skaters and with him Olympic can't I asked? Is
- 14:44Speaker 2: he is he as entertaining as we're all pretending, or
- 14:48Speaker 2: as beloved?
- 14:50Speaker 6: Yeah, everybody gets excited, doesn't.
- 14:52Speaker 2: It doesn't bother me that that. Look, here's the thing.
- 14:54Speaker 2: That guy will go to the opening of an envelop Yeah,
- 14:56Speaker 2: he will endorse anything. I don't think there's anything they
- 14:59Speaker 2: pitched him on that he said to yet. But I
- 15:01Speaker 2: mean he is making great money. They were saying for
- 15:03Speaker 2: the Olympics stuff. He was getting about five hundred thousand
- 15:07Speaker 2: dollars a day, not including expenses, and the Olympics were
- 15:12Speaker 2: eighteen days, so nine million dollars. I don't should go
- 15:15Speaker 2: hang out and be yourself. You don't have to be
- 15:18Speaker 2: like all professional. You just have to be Snoop be there,
- 15:20Speaker 2: I questioned the ROI that's all I'm saying.
- 15:22Speaker 7: I'm wondering, like, how has he not become the first billionaire?
- 15:27Speaker 7: I don't know when it comes to wrap, I mean, because.
- 15:29Speaker 2: He eats out too much.
- 15:30Speaker 7: Yeah, well, doctor Dre was supposed to be the first billionaire,
- 15:34Speaker 7: but he did that thing that he messed up with
- 15:37Speaker 7: Apple and they got mad at him, so they made
- 15:39Speaker 7: sure he wasn't a billionaire when they paid him for beads. Yeah,
- 15:42Speaker 7: but was Snoop but still says that he's worth one
- 15:44Speaker 7: hundred and sixty million dollars.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Oh, I would say way more than that. Yeah, just
- 15:49Speaker 2: with all the endorsements I know, I think for I
- 15:52Speaker 2: don't know, like two decades now of endorsements. And does
- 15:54Speaker 2: he still own his music or is he one of
- 15:56Speaker 2: those guys that sold like the catalogs that would have
- 15:59Speaker 2: been worth a lot of one of those deals.
- 16:01Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 16:02Speaker 2: I don't know. By the way, we were talking about
- 16:05Speaker 2: this guy last week, Drew Ski, Yeah, so is he
- 16:08Speaker 2: what is his official is he an influencer?
- 16:11Speaker 3: Is he comedian? I know he's doing comedy now, but.
- 16:13Speaker 5: Like his primary besides now, he's just a mascot. His
- 16:18Speaker 5: primary fame was from amateur sketch comedy.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, all right, yeah, because I didn't know like
- 16:25Speaker 2: where the world he came from. But you know, he
- 16:28Speaker 2: had that viral moment at the NFL Honors and he
- 16:31Speaker 2: purposely butchered Jackson Smith in Jigba's name. And so here's
- 16:37Speaker 2: the one thing in comedy though, that I never like.
- 16:39Speaker 2: I don't like it when people who do comedy apologize
- 16:43Speaker 2: for their comedy. Oh yeah, Like, so he he's come back,
- 16:47Speaker 2: and now he apologizes for that whole thing.
- 16:52Speaker 6: When you apologize for a joke, it almost comes across
- 16:54Speaker 6: as it wasn't a.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Joke, right, So he he added that when you're quote
- 16:57Speaker 2: walking the line of comedy, sometimes you do have to
- 17:00Speaker 2: take that chance. It's not all going to be successful.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Nothing you do in anything when you're trying to pursue
- 17:06Speaker 2: greatness is going to be success. Success.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I mean, but you know what I mean.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. Just go, hey, look it was
- 17:14Speaker 2: it was an attempt at being funny. If you didn't
- 17:16Speaker 2: find it funny, I'm sorry sorry for that, but not
- 17:20Speaker 2: just like you know, I'm really I'm really sorry that
- 17:22Speaker 2: I did it.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I like to mess around, and you know, sometimes you
- 17:25Speaker 1: can go too far. I even I even hit him
- 17:27Speaker 1: up and I and.
- 17:28Speaker 3: I, okay, I don't think I reached out.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I reached out and you know, congratulations to him the
- 17:33Speaker 1: team on the super Bowl.
- 17:35Speaker 3: That was an amazing thing.
- 17:36Speaker 1: And yeah, I didn't get no response back, but.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it happened. I'm not familiar with, by the way,
- 17:45Speaker 2: his stuff at all, so I can't. I can't he
- 17:49Speaker 2: intentionally fumbled a hard to pronounce name. Oh no, yeah, right, slight.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:54Speaker 3: I like, what.
- 17:58Speaker 2: What do you love most about Sky Morgan?
- 18:01Speaker 13: Me?
- 18:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 18:02Speaker 10: I just think his clips online are funny and he
- 18:04Speaker 10: seems like he'd be fun to hang out with in person.
- 18:07Speaker 9: Yeah, but I definitely don't watch all this stuff.
- 18:09Speaker 2: So just from a couple of things that you've described,
- 18:10Speaker 2: like that definitely seems like the kind of stuff that
- 18:12Speaker 2: Morgan's into.
- 18:13Speaker 3: She like saw that.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Yeah, like he.
- 18:14Speaker 9: Seems witty in the moment, you know, like he can.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Yeah, because Seamaster disagrees as we I do.
- 18:21Speaker 5: Nothing of himuntil he started popping up everywhere that I said, Okay,
- 18:23Speaker 5: here's this guy, and I was like, oh, that's unimpressive.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Yeah, here's the thing. I'll give him this. You know,
- 18:28Speaker 2: as little as I pay to celebrities, I recognize him now.
- 18:31Speaker 14: Yeah, I do love the series that could have been
- 18:37Speaker 14: Love or could have been Records, could have been Records
- 18:40Speaker 14: is my favorite.
- 18:41Speaker 9: I don't know about that.
- 18:42Speaker 7: I know about the has the record label and then
- 18:45Speaker 7: he does it's basically like American Idol style.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's just like, uh, just stop apologizing. Stop apologizing.
- 18:55Speaker 2: If it's meant for comedy, don't apologize. If you said
- 18:58Speaker 2: something that you know you're just having a conversation about
- 19:00Speaker 2: something and going back and forth in the debate, or
- 19:02Speaker 2: you got heated in the moment with somebody that you're
- 19:04Speaker 2: arguing with, like having a legit disagreement in argument with
- 19:06Speaker 2: and you said something you regret. Fine, but under the
- 19:10Speaker 2: umbrella of comedy, it's so lame. Okay, you apologized for that.
- 19:14Speaker 6: Here's a question for you. Then on a more of
- 19:15Speaker 6: a macro level, what about a comedian who used to
- 19:18Speaker 6: be like a crazy like shock roast master, like screw everybody,
- 19:23Speaker 6: and now isn't that person at all? He left that character.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Howard Stern's done that, have done that.
- 19:30Speaker 6: I'm thinking of three off the top of my head,
- 19:32Speaker 6: and they all apologize for well, I'm thinking of like
- 19:36Speaker 6: Amy Schumer's apologized some of Sarah Silverman.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Nelly's no longer.
- 19:42Speaker 3: She was the queen of mean.
- 19:44Speaker 6: Exactly, and I don't know if she's apologized for that.
- 19:46Speaker 6: But I you know, comedians are like, well, why.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Don't you that?
- 19:49Speaker 3: Okay, there's a difference.
- 19:50Speaker 2: It's fine to evolve, yeah, but if you're going to
- 19:53Speaker 2: apologize for all the things that you made your bones
- 19:55Speaker 2: and you became, like stop it, yeah, Like yeah, I
- 19:59Speaker 2: think it's fun. That's that comes off as pandering to me.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Oh for sure. I don't like all right.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Eight seven, seven forty four wooding Uh text over to
- 20:07Speaker 2: two to nine eighty seven. This is supposed to be
- 20:08Speaker 2: where we do entertainment, but we're gonna come back and
- 20:11Speaker 2: do that next. So some entertainment stuff. The trailer for
- 20:19Speaker 2: Toy Story five is out. Did you guys watch it.
- 20:21Speaker 2: I like all those toy story movies.
- 20:23Speaker 6: Yeah, it has a funny little element.
- 20:25Speaker 2: About it, though they ran a short version of it
- 20:27Speaker 2: during the Olympics. In this one, the toys have a
- 20:30Speaker 2: problem when the new leap pad gets delivered, so it's like,
- 20:33Speaker 2: you know, the kids and screams, yeah, here's a little money.
- 20:38Speaker 3: There's a package for you, honey.
- 20:41Speaker 11: There I.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Left extinction, not again.
- 20:46Speaker 11: I want to talk to you device.
- 20:48Speaker 6: Me and the toys have been working all summer and
- 20:50Speaker 6: try and get buddy to make friends.
- 20:52Speaker 3: You're not even listening to me.
- 20:53Speaker 9: I'm always listening.
- 20:57Speaker 15: Here as fast as they could spend too long, row Boy,
- 21:01Speaker 15: our mission on this planet to make a child happy.
- 21:04Speaker 3: We're gonna need Becca, but you'll stay here.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I'm going with them. You don't think I can do it.
- 21:11Speaker 2: It's good to see them fighting again, dude.
- 21:15Speaker 4: I like it.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I like all that the well, not all the pisar stuff,
- 21:21Speaker 2: but a lot of picks are stuff I really like.
- 21:22Speaker 6: Well, and it's time for them to address screens. And
- 21:25Speaker 6: also there's a funny little part in one of the
- 21:27Speaker 6: clips where what he's balding.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Trailer So you can relate, you can relate to what.
- 21:37Speaker 5: It's funny because people have pointed out that because so
- 21:39Speaker 5: at least as far as we know, the villain is
- 21:41Speaker 5: screen time and how ironic will be six months from
- 21:44Speaker 5: that after it's released, when all the kid.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Hey, take a lesson, here's a screen are bad? Well,
- 21:50Speaker 2: the movie is gonna be in theaters on June nineteenth,
- 21:52Speaker 2: on the polar opposite of kids and stuff. You know
- 21:54Speaker 2: what I'm really psyched about Peaky Blinders Immortal Man. So
- 21:59Speaker 2: there's another new trailer Cillian Murphy and Barry Keegan. Yeah,
- 22:05Speaker 2: he's in that. So of course it's going to be
- 22:06Speaker 2: out select theaters they say March sixth, which it's also
- 22:10Speaker 2: gonna be on Netflix. This is something I think I
- 22:12Speaker 2: might actually go to the theater for. Yeah, I know
- 22:16Speaker 2: I did when they when they re released. If we're
- 22:19Speaker 2: using to the future, I'm saying, if we're using recent
- 22:21Speaker 2: recent events, I did say I was going to go
- 22:23Speaker 2: for the back to the Future thing, and I did, Yes,
- 22:26Speaker 2: and I did. And this I'm mega pumps for Peaky
- 22:30Speaker 2: Blinders and more. What a great show. If you haven't
- 22:32Speaker 2: watched Peggy Blinders, amazing.
- 22:33Speaker 6: I'm guessing the mom isn't in it because she died, right,
- 22:38Speaker 6: I thank you. If she was still alive, who knows.
- 22:43Speaker 2: There's also a new trailer out for season three of
- 22:45Speaker 2: the House of the Dragon. We know that Jason Alexander,
- 22:48Speaker 2: you know George Costanz in the Seinfeld series, but he's
- 22:51Speaker 2: been doing all these interviews and talking about how others
- 22:54Speaker 2: you know that they had considered before he landed the role. So, uh,
- 22:58Speaker 2: George Costanza could have been Chris Rock, It could have
- 23:01Speaker 2: been Paul Schaeffer, who Okay, remember we talked about people
- 23:05Speaker 2: who have very punishable face and Paul Shaffer, who is
- 23:08Speaker 2: Dave Letterman's band guy for all those years. He is
- 23:12Speaker 2: so punishable. Well, I think he's a mega dork who
- 23:17Speaker 2: thinks he's really cool. That's true.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Yeah, like he thinks he's super cool, but he's such.
- 23:22Speaker 4: A door.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Danny the veto Larry Miller. They even considered a Rosie
- 23:29Speaker 2: O'Donnell for like the George Roll Georgia. Yeah. Survivor fifty
- 23:35Speaker 2: gets underway next week and fans are re uh, I
- 23:38Speaker 2: guess they got this contestants. Returning contestant Aubrey Bracco. I
- 23:41Speaker 2: have not watched Survivor in a a bunch of years,
- 23:44Speaker 2: but I guess she's the front runner. She played in
- 23:46Speaker 2: three seasons but never won. Now, Greg, if you're gonna
- 23:50Speaker 2: have Bruce Springsteen perform at your stadium, read his rider carefully.
- 23:55Speaker 2: All these beers are to be provided, but not Budweiser.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Oh really?
- 24:01Speaker 2: Other things banned his performances. Crazins okay, because those are
- 24:06Speaker 2: so comments much sugar, no buffets, no instant oatmeal okay,
- 24:12Speaker 2: and no security guards wearing military style uniforms. Yeah it's
- 24:17Speaker 2: too yeah boy. And then William Shatner is releasing a
- 24:21Speaker 2: heavy metal album, you guys, Oh, that's what we need,
- 24:24Speaker 2: with covers by bands including Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and
- 24:27Speaker 2: Iron Maiden. It'll have thirty five guest stars, but he
- 24:31Speaker 2: hasn't named any of them yet. And just why William
- 24:35Speaker 2: Shatner turns ninety five next month?
- 24:37Speaker 8: Dude?
- 24:37Speaker 3: He was on an episode of Celebrity IOU with the
- 24:40Speaker 3: Property Brothers. Yeah, he kind of seemed nice.
- 24:44Speaker 6: Wow, I'm sure he's really nice.
- 24:45Speaker 3: I don't know we've had one.
- 24:48Speaker 11: You're not.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Yeah, but is he like ninety ninety five like old man?
- 24:52Speaker 12: He's just he's a weird guy. But whatever it is
- 24:55Speaker 12: that he's doing.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Is weird though, Yeah, I mean I would. I would.
- 24:57Speaker 2: I wouldn't say he was ninety nine looking at it.
- 25:00Speaker 2: I wouldn't say he's not any think botox head.

- 26:03Speaker 2: former NFL player Your porno Birthday Today is Cali Carter
- 26:07Speaker 2: and today's birthday girl. She has spit more seed than
- 26:10Speaker 2: a watermelon eating contestant in four hundred and seventy eight
- 26:13Speaker 2: fine films, including Total Spit Horse. She was in clapping
- 26:18Speaker 2: Calli's cake, also going down in a Blaze of Glory Holes.
- 26:23Speaker 2: She was in Impregnation Vacation Volumes one through three, Callie's
- 26:28Speaker 2: cuck licks, dirty gym sneakers and sweaty Feet. She was
- 26:34Speaker 2: in Squirting is Not Peeing Volume one, and then I
- 26:39Speaker 2: don't think so see mess if they've done studies, it's

- 26:55Speaker 5: high little boots. Yeah, also educational books for oh.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Gave shapes. That is Cali Carter, who's thirty six years
- 27:07Speaker 2: old today. Is that porn of birthday Your celebrity birthdays
- 27:10Speaker 2: and that is a Monday. Look what's happening around the
- 27:13Speaker 2: world of entertainment?
- 27:17Speaker 12: Minute guy?
- 27:20Speaker 6: This guy?
- 27:22Speaker 2: Yeah, he just looks up like a like a marshmallow.
- 27:28Speaker 10: Yeah, his name is Menace, though he's kind of like
- 27:30Speaker 10: a menace in the streets.
- 27:35Speaker 2: They show, all right, well into another new hour on
- 27:39Speaker 2: a Monday morning, Insensitivity training for a politically correct world.
- 27:43Speaker 2: I'm Woody, that's Greg Gory.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Menace is right there. What is up?
- 27:47Speaker 2: Height right there? We got Sea Bass, we got Sammy
- 27:51Speaker 2: Morgan is here. Phones are open eight seven seven forty four.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Wooding sends a text over to two to nine eight
- 28:00Speaker 2: seventh weekend cheers and jeers. I'm gonna start with the
- 28:05Speaker 2: jeer a friend of mine. It's, you know, like things
- 28:10Speaker 2: are going on, and you know, maybe there's a process
- 28:14Speaker 2: of something like something's eventually happening, and then the reality
- 28:17Speaker 2: of that actually happening starts to set in. So, you know,
- 28:20Speaker 2: my inner circle is extremely small, extremely small, like the
- 28:25Speaker 2: people I considered, like you know, my as far as
- 28:28Speaker 2: like you know, best friends go very very small. And
- 28:32Speaker 2: one of those people is moving. And so it's been
- 28:35Speaker 2: a thing. It's been in the works for a number
- 28:37Speaker 2: of months and I knew it was coming, and then
- 28:40Speaker 2: now the house has a sign in front of it,
- 28:45Speaker 2: and it's bumming me out like that. Now again, I
- 28:49Speaker 2: have never since I was fifteen, I haven't lived you know,
- 28:53Speaker 2: in my hometown, you know what I mean. Like, so
- 28:56Speaker 2: I've been away, I've moved. I've moved away from home
- 28:58Speaker 2: at fifteen, and there was only a very brief period
- 29:01Speaker 2: of time where I was ever you know, back home,
- 29:05Speaker 2: you know, close to family, living near friends and family
- 29:08Speaker 2: like that. Yeah, I'm very used to having a lot
- 29:13Speaker 2: of my close personal people live far away. And it's fine.
- 29:17Speaker 2: It's just weird because it's been nice having having somebody
- 29:21Speaker 2: you know close, you know. So that's that's definitely a bummer.
- 29:25Speaker 2: But it's not it's it doesn't it doesn't change the
- 29:28Speaker 2: it doesn't change the friendship. It just changes like you know,
- 29:30Speaker 2: how much you can hang out. Yeah. And the other
- 29:33Speaker 2: thing is too, it's like, uh, you know, he and
- 29:35Speaker 2: his wife they go on like our Mexico trip with
- 29:37Speaker 2: us every year. I mean these are like really close
- 29:40Speaker 2: friends that my wife and her and my friend's wife.
- 29:43Speaker 3: They're close. Like everybody's cool.
- 29:45Speaker 2: You know.
- 29:45Speaker 3: So that's that sucks. That makes me blue.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Uh, so yeah, the sign went up over the weekend. Yeah,
- 29:53Speaker 2: and then the cheer though is you know, the event
- 29:56Speaker 2: that we had over the weekend, there was about what
- 30:00Speaker 2: fifteen hundred two thousand easily what show listeners that showed up.
- 30:05Speaker 2: And we sit here and we think every once in
- 30:07Speaker 2: a while because we don't know we're in this room, you.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Know, and look at each other.
- 30:13Speaker 2: We can see each other like anybody even listening to it. Uh,
- 30:16Speaker 2: And I guess said, not only was it nice, like
- 30:18Speaker 2: so many people came out, but also like there were
- 30:21Speaker 2: so many like really not to sound like a like
- 30:24Speaker 2: a you know, like a sissy here, but like like
- 30:26Speaker 2: touching moments. Couldn't agree more like some of the stories
- 30:30Speaker 2: that people were telling me. This one person was telling
- 30:32Speaker 2: me about how you know, we got them through cancer
- 30:35Speaker 2: treatments like every every day. Oh did you talk to
- 30:38Speaker 2: that guy that story? Yeah, so he goes. I'd listen,
- 30:43Speaker 2: you know, on the way in and then you know,
- 30:44Speaker 2: while I was getting you know, my treatments, my chemo
- 30:47Speaker 2: and everything else, and then afterwards, when I was doing
- 30:49Speaker 2: recovery and everything, I'd be listening to the podcast. So
- 30:52Speaker 2: there was stuff like that. There's another guy the wife
- 30:54Speaker 2: came up to me and she goes, I really want
- 30:57Speaker 2: you to beat my husband. You know, you literally saved
- 31:01Speaker 2: his life. The show literally saved his life that he
- 31:03Speaker 2: was going through like a massive depression. And then somebody
- 31:07Speaker 2: told him about the show and he started listening and
- 31:11Speaker 2: he just became like hooked. And so, you know, because
- 31:14Speaker 2: our sense of humor is very much his sense of humor.
- 31:17Speaker 2: He's you know, you know, a politically incorrect person meeting
- 31:21Speaker 2: like the same kind of humor that I find, the
- 31:22Speaker 2: stuff that makes people uncomfortable, the jokes and stuff to
- 31:24Speaker 2: make peop uncomfortable, make people like me and apparently her
- 31:27Speaker 2: husband laugh very very hard anyway, So you know, that's
- 31:30Speaker 2: the kind of stuff that we do, whether it's guest
- 31:31Speaker 2: who's gas or some of the other butt chugging a
- 31:34Speaker 2: beer was brought up, you know. Yeah, so I'm saying
- 31:38Speaker 2: it was just you know, and so he was in
- 31:41Speaker 2: this really deep dark place and she was telling me
- 31:46Speaker 2: how you know, somebody had introduced him to the show,
- 31:48Speaker 2: and then before long he was like every day had
- 31:51Speaker 2: something Oh my god, you got to hear bringing up
- 31:53Speaker 2: the podcast or just sharing the story of something happened.
- 31:56Speaker 2: And it's one of the things that like broke him
- 31:58Speaker 2: out of it was. I know it sounds dumb because
- 32:03Speaker 2: we say, like we're not doing anything important here, but
- 32:06Speaker 2: it was nice to hear that not only people are listening,
- 32:08Speaker 2: but then you know some people did have like a
- 32:10Speaker 2: super positive takeaway or impact from something so silly story Honor. Yeah,
- 32:18Speaker 2: and uh it was it was just it was just
- 32:20Speaker 2: really cool and there was like a there were a
- 32:22Speaker 2: ton of those type of stories.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Absolutely, so many of them. I was getting emotional.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Yeah, people traveling across the country, Yeah there was. Yeah,
- 32:32Speaker 2: flew in from Atlanta, came in from Spain, anyway, there
- 32:40Speaker 2: were there were a lot of those, a lot of
- 32:42Speaker 2: these stories, and you know, people just super nice and
- 32:45Speaker 2: loved it. Yeah, so that was great. That that's my
- 32:47Speaker 2: that's my cheers, Greg Gory weekend cheers and jeers.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Well, in addition to what you just said, cheers to
- 32:52Speaker 3: myself for being such a damn good chef. I saw
- 32:58Speaker 3: online for eggplant parmesan, which sounds like something you might
- 33:03Speaker 3: not get excited for good, but damn it turned out
- 33:06Speaker 3: so good and so restauranty.
- 33:08Speaker 6: Did you have the coding state on?
- 33:09Speaker 3: I didn't do the coding. That was what I loved
- 33:11Speaker 3: about it, so it was much easier to make and
- 33:14Speaker 3: it just turned out like perfection. I thought, should I
- 33:18Speaker 3: get a job at a restaurant because I'm that good that?
- 33:22Speaker 15: Yeah?
- 33:23Speaker 3: I mean it was really good. So cheers to that.
- 33:25Speaker 3: I'm gonna say jeers to a couple traffic related things.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Number one, stop messing with my commute. There was all
- 33:33Speaker 3: these people on an overpass with American flags for some reason,
- 33:37Speaker 3: and signs that said healthcare is a human right. Okay,
- 33:41Speaker 3: first of all, no it's not. You don't get free
- 33:44Speaker 3: services from somebody else's schooling of ten years. You're not
- 33:47Speaker 3: entitled to that. Number two, what does that have to
- 33:51Speaker 3: do with my commute that you're messing up with your
- 33:55Speaker 3: opinions on healthcare being a human right? Shut up? You
- 33:58Speaker 3: made traffic so exceptionally bad. I knew it was going
- 34:01Speaker 3: to be bad. It was so bad, and it was
- 34:03Speaker 3: because of these idiots. So jeers to them to take
- 34:07Speaker 3: in your stupid message to the freeways and the highways,
- 34:10Speaker 3: and jeers to the people that slow down to look
- 34:13Speaker 3: at somebody holding a sign.
- 34:16Speaker 2: We talked about this before. I think the quickest way
- 34:18Speaker 2: to get me off board it could be cure childhood cancer. Yep,
- 34:26Speaker 2: the minute you're inconvencing everybody else. Yeah, I'm off board
- 34:29Speaker 2: with whatever it is. Actually, it could be the most noble,
- 34:33Speaker 2: the most pure, the most genuinely nice thing.
- 34:35Speaker 3: I say it with no exaggeration. If they're if they
- 34:40Speaker 3: achieved world peace by doing this, I would say, nope,
- 34:44Speaker 3: bring on the nuclear war. Stop interfering with other people's lives.
- 34:51Speaker 3: You without lube, I hate you. And then one other
- 34:58Speaker 3: traffic related thing that I also hate that interfered with
- 35:01Speaker 3: my life. Have you ever seen these stupid bedazzled license
- 35:05Speaker 3: plate frames and the diamond so girly, so dumb, and
- 35:11Speaker 3: when the light hits them just right, they make this
- 35:14Speaker 3: shimmering glare in my eyes? Again, why are you messing
- 35:17Speaker 3: with my coue? Stop it?
- 35:20Speaker 2: God.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Anyway, but it was a good weekend.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Morgan weekend cheers and jeers.
- 35:28Speaker 10: I guess I'll start with my jeers too, because it's
- 35:30Speaker 10: kind of traffic related. Friday, leaving the show, I got
- 35:34Speaker 10: rear ended by idiot. Yeah, well yeah, and guess what
- 35:39Speaker 10: he was driving? You'll love No, a black Dodge Charger.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Are you okay?
- 35:47Speaker 15: Oh?
- 35:47Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm fine?
- 35:48Speaker 6: Luckily, No, No, I think your next a little stiff?
- 35:51Speaker 9: Really yeah, get that. Wait a minute, I had exited
- 35:54Speaker 9: the freeway.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Are you saying that.
- 35:57Speaker 9: My next stiff? Now you say that, crack it back.
- 36:01Speaker 10: I had exited the freeway and I was stopped at
- 36:03Speaker 10: a light waiting to turn onto a regular street right,
- 36:06Speaker 10: and he just kind of tapped the end of me,
- 36:08Speaker 10: obviously on his phone.
- 36:10Speaker 2: So the damage I took pictures.
- 36:13Speaker 10: There's like scratches, but I don't know if it's yes,
- 36:16Speaker 10: he should.
- 36:17Speaker 2: You be needed to fix that bumper? Anyways?
- 36:19Speaker 6: Did he give you his insurance?
- 36:20Speaker 9: He didn't do that, so I can't.
- 36:22Speaker 7: No, no, but you have to replace the bumper anyways,
- 36:24Speaker 7: if it's messed up.
- 36:26Speaker 6: Did he give you his insurance?
- 36:27Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 36:27Speaker 9: I have all his info, but that I don't know
- 36:29Speaker 9: if I should pursue it.
- 36:30Speaker 12: You always need to get your car checked after any accident,
- 36:34Speaker 12: just to have it looked at, because there could be
- 36:35Speaker 12: something that you don't know about.
- 36:37Speaker 2: If he tapped it, then there's some scratches. Chances are
- 36:39Speaker 2: there's nothing major, and you know, for being a good person,
- 36:44Speaker 2: maybe just reach out to him and go like, hey,
- 36:46Speaker 2: I got an estimate on how much is for the scratches?
- 36:49Speaker 2: So he doesn't have to put it through the insurance.
- 36:51Speaker 8: Let him pay Oh exactly, because like that's the kind
- 36:55Speaker 8: of thing.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I think that's the kind of thing that comes around
- 36:57Speaker 2: because you may end up just you know, whatever mindor
- 37:00Speaker 2: damage that you can get a much better deal if
- 37:04Speaker 2: you just paid for it out of pocket and then
- 37:05Speaker 2: going through the insurance. And you want that kind of
- 37:08Speaker 2: energy coming.
- 37:09Speaker 6: Yeah, So it's not it's not say forget it, We're fine,
- 37:12Speaker 6: just say here it is. You can just pay me
- 37:14Speaker 6: directly if you want.
- 37:14Speaker 9: To say okay, I'll do that.
- 37:15Speaker 10: Because he texted me afterwards, like the second we drove off,
- 37:19Speaker 10: so I'm like, I know you're texting and driving again.
- 37:23Speaker 10: He's like, my bad, Morgan. I'm like, talk to me.
- 37:28Speaker 10: So cheers to that charger, cheers to back to the event. Man,
- 37:33Speaker 10: talk about emotional. I had multiple times I was tearing up,
- 37:36Speaker 10: like tears of joy. It was like such a full
- 37:38Speaker 10: circle moment. I grew up as a kid listening to
- 37:40Speaker 10: Morning Rady radio show and like going to events with
- 37:43Speaker 10: my parents and to like now be on the other
- 37:45Speaker 10: end of that, It's just blows my mind. You know,
- 37:48Speaker 10: people are so nice, Yeah, son, so many I had
- 37:51Speaker 10: like great talks about it's gonna sound bad, but depression
- 37:54Speaker 10: and mental health stuff, stuff that you share, right, So
- 37:57Speaker 10: it was so cool to connect with people and know, like,
- 38:00Speaker 10: you know, they get it.
- 38:01Speaker 9: We're all hitting this together type thing. So oh it
- 38:03Speaker 9: was great.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it was, it was It was super cool. It
- 38:07Speaker 2: was a good time. Eight seven seven forty four. Wood
- 38:10Speaker 2: How was your weekend? Let us know on the text
- 38:11Speaker 2: over to two two nine eight seven. Lots to talk
- 38:14Speaker 2: about in the trending news headlines. Those will be next
- 38:17Speaker 2: hang on.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Barwoody, show Bar, whatdy, show bar, show.
- 38:30Speaker 11: Look at.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Shoe Man. One common theme that was throughout meeting people
- 38:43Speaker 2: at our event on Saturday, Ginny, you made quite the impression.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, this one just came to you to Texas.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Meeting Gina was the highlight of my year. Thank you
- 38:53Speaker 2: guys so much for coming out. Sammy's the best. I
- 38:56Speaker 2: was high and she laughed with me and it was awesome.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:00Speaker 2: I mean no, but like I heard from a couple
- 39:03Speaker 2: of people who are scarf recipients.
- 39:05Speaker 6: Oh yes, people are getting their scarves.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Noah saw that and they're like people were just open
- 39:12Speaker 2: the topic. Oh my god, She's so nice, so cool,
- 39:15Speaker 2: and it was. It was just nice. People are like, man,
- 39:18Speaker 2: the show is the best it's ever been, and blah
- 39:20Speaker 2: blah blah blah blah, and it's it was.
- 39:21Speaker 3: It was nice.
- 39:22Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 39:22Speaker 6: And I love that everybody knew I was a hugger,
- 39:24Speaker 6: so I so many hugs.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:28Speaker 9: Funny when people say, can I hug you? I'm like, no,
- 39:30Speaker 9: come on, let's.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Go back to Gina grad who's got the trending news headlines?
- 39:37Speaker 6: Yes, well some big news. US officials are warning Americans
- 39:40Speaker 6: and a bunch of popular parts of Mexico to shelter
- 39:43Speaker 6: in place after a big cartel crackdown triggered a ton
- 39:47Speaker 6: of violence.
- 39:48Speaker 3: That's gonna be great.
- 39:48Speaker 2: You're on vacation, all of a shelter in place like
- 39:51Speaker 2: the big vacation for the year, trying out the airport.
- 39:54Speaker 6: Oh, good luck with that. So the alert is issued
- 39:56Speaker 6: for places like Portavarta and Guadalajara, and along with places
- 39:59Speaker 6: like Missan and Nuevo Leone. The warning came after Mexican
- 40:03Speaker 6: forces killed Nmicio Elmentcho. That's what he's called servantes. He's
- 40:07Speaker 6: the leader of the Hillisco new generation cartel. So Elmento
- 40:12Speaker 6: had grown his cartel to the most powerful one in Mexico.
- 40:15Speaker 6: So his death really screws up their operation. Now, the
- 40:18Speaker 6: cartel firing back at the citizens, burning cars burning. I
- 40:23Speaker 6: saw one burning, the Costco burning all these little, uh,
- 40:26Speaker 6: you know, little mom and pop shops blocking roads in
- 40:28Speaker 6: Porta Arta. Flights by major airlines into the city have
- 40:32Speaker 6: been either diverted or canceled, and Air Canada said they're
- 40:34Speaker 6: just suspending the flights altogether. Mexican officials say they've cleared
- 40:39Speaker 6: most of the roadblocks, but they warned that there's probably
- 40:42Speaker 6: more violence on the way.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Yeah, they said, of fourteen states, there's issues. Yeah, opening
- 40:46Speaker 2: in Mexico.
- 40:47Speaker 6: It's like, by all means, take it out on the
- 40:49Speaker 6: people that had nothing to do with this.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Burn the Costco cartel, you know. Yeah, it's like trying
- 40:53Speaker 2: to figure out, like, well, why would somebody Well, because
- 40:55Speaker 2: they're not right, they're not normal thinking in the visas, right.
- 40:58Speaker 6: Let's say anti social. Well, the Winter Olympics wrapped up
- 41:02Speaker 6: and Team USA finished with a big old moment. The
- 41:05Speaker 6: men's hockey team beat Canada two to one in a
- 41:08Speaker 6: tight defensive game with Jack Hughes, Oh my god, how
- 41:10Speaker 6: cute is he? Scoring the winning goal in overtime. But
- 41:14Speaker 6: did you see all the pictures of his lack of teeth.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I got a high stick his.
- 41:19Speaker 6: Two front teeth knocked out by a high stick from
- 41:21Speaker 6: Sam Bennett on Kansas team during the third period. But
- 41:24Speaker 6: like there are those hockey guys always smiling.
- 41:26Speaker 2: Yeah, just lost his teeth. They were on the at
- 41:29Speaker 2: the Olympics.
- 41:30Speaker 6: That was funny.
- 41:31Speaker 2: It was funny. Is a handful of year twenty twenty one.
- 41:34Speaker 2: I believe my son and I went to, uh, whichever
- 41:36Speaker 2: one was in Vegas, the All Star weekend in Vegas,
- 41:39Speaker 2: and a friend of mine is you know, so well
- 41:41Speaker 2: connected in hockey that we went to and got access
- 41:44Speaker 2: to the player's family breakfast, oh you know, at the
- 41:48Speaker 2: player hotel. So we were this is my friend, my friend.
- 41:51Speaker 2: My son could meet all the All Stars heroes that
- 41:53Speaker 2: were like walking in and whatever, and so he got
- 41:55Speaker 2: to meet all these players. We sat at a table
- 41:58Speaker 2: because we were like looking for a place in this
- 41:59Speaker 2: one was like, oh here, you guys looking for a
- 42:01Speaker 2: just sit here.
- 42:02Speaker 3: And it was Jack Hugh's mom. Oh my god, and
- 42:05Speaker 3: she was so funny.
- 42:05Speaker 2: It was like sitting at like you know, now I
- 42:08Speaker 2: go where my son plays hockey, and all the parents
- 42:10Speaker 2: are hanging out and the moms, the hockey moms aretist
- 42:13Speaker 2: talking and she's just like, this is like it's like
- 42:15Speaker 2: an eighteen you tournament and her son's in the All
- 42:18Speaker 2: Star She's like, Oh, he was doing this thing. He's
- 42:21Speaker 2: doing like this one skills competition thing and you have
- 42:24Speaker 2: to get creative and have like a you know, some
- 42:27Speaker 2: kind of like you know, shtick, and he did this
- 42:29Speaker 2: whole like magician thing.
- 42:31Speaker 3: And she's like, I told him it was stupid, but
- 42:32Speaker 3: he did it anyway. But I'm like, Jack, what are
- 42:35Speaker 3: you doing?
- 42:36Speaker 2: But it's just so funny hearing her because he was
- 42:38Speaker 2: a big deal, like rookie at the time, and she was.
- 42:42Speaker 2: She was super nice. It was just really funny, like
- 42:44Speaker 2: watching they kept showing her in the stands and my
- 42:46Speaker 2: son's like.
- 42:46Speaker 6: Oh, best friends her all the time.
- 42:51Speaker 2: She was just super nice.
- 42:52Speaker 6: I love that she was super nice. This is the
- 42:54Speaker 6: first man's hockey gold for the US since the Miracle
- 42:56Speaker 6: on Ice back in nineteen eighty, so big deal.
- 42:59Speaker 11: Overall.
- 43:00Speaker 6: We finished first in the medal count with forty one
- 43:02Speaker 6: US and second with thirty three, and Italy third at thirty.
- 43:06Speaker 6: Norway also letting gold medals with eighteen, followed by the
- 43:09Speaker 6: US with twelve, Italy with ten, and up next. The
- 43:12Speaker 6: Olympics returns for the Summer Games in Los Angeles in
- 43:15Speaker 6: twenty twenty eight. So get ready, we'll speaking again.
- 43:18Speaker 10: Ready.
- 43:19Speaker 6: Another storm is making its way across the US today
- 43:21Speaker 6: and it's gonna shut down a lot of the Northeast.
- 43:24Speaker 6: A blizzard warning has been put it into a fact,
- 43:26Speaker 6: stretching from Virginia all the way up to New Hampshire.
- 43:29Speaker 2: In front of me, it's already going on. It was
- 43:30Speaker 2: snowing all day yesterday my mom's place.
- 43:32Speaker 6: Oh damn, seriously, like eighteen inches already donned on that.
- 43:36Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 43:36Speaker 2: I checked in with her last night. I'm like, hey,
- 43:39Speaker 2: how's how's the snow going, And she says, yeah, we
- 43:42Speaker 2: already got about seven inches and they're expecting another eight
- 43:45Speaker 2: to ten.
- 43:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:47Speaker 7: It has to be holed up a lot with the
- 43:49Speaker 7: current in the Gulf of Mexico that it's been the
- 43:53Speaker 7: weakest in sixteen hundred years, which has affected the weather.
- 43:57Speaker 7: That it's going to be like that for a while,
- 43:59Speaker 7: where it's just gonna be like cold constantly.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Yeah, But she said it was like a like a
- 44:03Speaker 2: heavy wet snow, and I was supposed to get into
- 44:05Speaker 2: like I guess the fifties here in the next couple
- 44:07Speaker 2: of days. So like it's not going to hang around.
- 44:09Speaker 2: They still have big piles of snow because they've gotten
- 44:11Speaker 2: so much here recently. She's just outside of Philadelphia.
- 44:15Speaker 6: Well more than five thousand flights have already been canceled,
- 44:18Speaker 6: over two hundred thousand people without power in New Jersey, Delaware, Massachusetts.
- 44:23Speaker 6: And yeah, it's expected to keep falling, so you know,
- 44:25Speaker 6: bundle up if you can stay.
- 44:27Speaker 2: It's not even that, it's just like if you're traveling
- 44:29Speaker 2: like it affects so many of you know, the airlines
- 44:32Speaker 2: and because the planes have If you ever gone on
- 44:34Speaker 2: and you said, all right, well I'm flying from this
- 44:36Speaker 2: place to this place. Previous flight, where's your plane coming from?
- 44:39Speaker 2: Look there, and then previous flight from that, where's that
- 44:41Speaker 2: coming from? These planes are greg you would hate it.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Yet exactly they're on the move. They don't just stay
- 44:48Speaker 2: in the particular reads. It's like, you know, coast to
- 44:51Speaker 2: coast routes and these different things. So it really jacks
- 44:53Speaker 2: up the entire system.
- 44:54Speaker 3: So by the time the plane gets to you, it's exhaust.
- 44:57Speaker 3: I've already done this for hours.
- 45:00Speaker 7: Though We've had numerous engineers say that the engines could
- 45:02Speaker 7: pretty much run for oh yeah, fifty years.
- 45:05Speaker 2: I try to hear that as long as you maintain
- 45:07Speaker 2: them and you give them nice oil.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Yeah, they would like a nap here and there thirty.
- 45:12Speaker 6: Speaking of speaking of airflight and all that sort of thing, Greg,
- 45:16Speaker 6: you would have had the last laugh on all of
- 45:18Speaker 6: us because the Department of Homeland Security announced over the
- 45:21Speaker 6: weekend that TSA pre check and Global Entry were being
- 45:24Speaker 6: suspended due to the partial government shutdown. So that pissed
- 45:28Speaker 6: off a ton of travelers.
- 45:30Speaker 3: So it was just everybody back to the pleable way
- 45:32Speaker 3: of doing.
- 45:33Speaker 6: Yep, everybody back with the groundlings.
- 45:35Speaker 2: But you would have gone on forever because you know,
- 45:37Speaker 2: there's no end in sight, you know, because both sides
- 45:39Speaker 2: are dug in so far totally on the funding of
- 45:42Speaker 2: homeland security.
- 45:43Speaker 6: But here's the thing. It pissed off people so much
- 45:45Speaker 6: that in less than twenty four hours, the DHS reversed
- 45:48Speaker 6: the decision. Instead, they said that TSA quote will evaluate
- 45:51Speaker 6: on a case by case basis and adjust operations. Global Entry, however,
- 45:55Speaker 6: still down Democrats in the DHS commend the suspension in
- 45:59Speaker 6: the first place, saying that leadership was punishing travelers on purpose.
- 46:04Speaker 6: And it was another slow weekend at the box office.
- 46:06Speaker 6: But there is one movie making some waves, Sony's animated
- 46:09Speaker 6: basketball movie Goat, which I can't believe I haven't seen
- 46:12Speaker 6: because it's all anyone talks about in our house. That's
- 46:14Speaker 6: when Steph Curry produced and stars in came at number
- 46:17Speaker 6: one in its second week. The movie debuted last week
- 46:20Speaker 6: at number two, but the kids won't stop talking about
- 46:22Speaker 6: it has such strong word of mouth that now it's
- 46:25Speaker 6: the top spot. Wuthering Heights.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I was, go ahead, I got it's a movie note.
- 46:30Speaker 6: Oh okay, Wuthering Heights came in second. I can only
- 46:34Speaker 6: imagine two debuted, and third Anyone.
- 46:37Speaker 3: I don't remember the first one.
- 46:38Speaker 6: Crime one oh one, and fourth Sure Send Help rounded
- 46:42Speaker 6: out the top five. Next weekend's box office though. That's
- 46:44Speaker 6: going to shake things up. That's when Scream seven is
- 46:46Speaker 6: coming out.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Okay, oh yeah, okay. So I read this article and
- 46:50Speaker 2: it's predicting that in the next five to eight years
- 46:54Speaker 2: theaters are going to go out of business.
- 46:55Speaker 3: I believe it.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Eight Yeah, sometime in the next five to eight years,
- 46:58Speaker 2: like you'll still have like an IMAX kind of thing,
- 47:02Speaker 2: but you can experience the just the regular standard multiplex.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Like that whole thing is going to be done because
- 47:08Speaker 2: the business of running one of those places just the
- 47:11Speaker 2: math don't math. You know, they don't really make any
- 47:14Speaker 2: money on the movies. They make money on the snash
- 47:16Speaker 2: and that's not enough to get people to necessarily leave
- 47:18Speaker 2: their house. As things have gotten They've been talking about
- 47:21Speaker 2: this for decades, but as things keep getting better and better,
- 47:23Speaker 2: and as things like especially if Netflix ends up taking
- 47:27Speaker 2: over Warner Brothers, like a lot of those movies, they'll
- 47:29Speaker 2: be on Netflix probably within a couple of days of
- 47:32Speaker 2: being in the theater. So there's no real exclusivity of like, hey,
- 47:35Speaker 2: you want to see this right away, you got to
- 47:36Speaker 2: go to the theater place, and like we always.
- 47:38Speaker 6: Talk about, you can get one hundred inch TV for
- 47:41Speaker 6: you know.
- 47:42Speaker 2: The price of popcorn. Yeah, so it's worth it to
- 47:45Speaker 2: watch the movie. Do you think that? I mean, look,
- 47:49Speaker 2: people have been calling for the death of a lot
- 47:50Speaker 2: of things, and you know it's things are still around.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Do you see that happening. I see it happening before that.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Really, yes, that like less of them.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Also kind of maybe just because I'm so damned cynical,
- 48:03Speaker 3: don't believe that they're not making money on the actual movies.
- 48:05Speaker 3: Last time I went to the movies was for a matinee.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Granted it was an imax, but two tickets for Wicked
- 48:11Speaker 3: two was like fifty one dollars. So how are they
- 48:15Speaker 3: not making Is that the movie house is making that
- 48:17Speaker 3: or because I know, my neighbor owns a gas station,
- 48:21Speaker 3: like a gas station convenience store thing, and he was
- 48:23Speaker 3: talking about they don't make any money on the gas.
- 48:27Speaker 2: They don't.
- 48:28Speaker 6: Why make it a million dollars?
- 48:30Speaker 3: They don't set that.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Yeah, so they make their money on people who are
- 48:34Speaker 2: getting gas coming in and grabbing a sandwich or a
- 48:36Speaker 2: coffee or soda you know, you know whatever. That's where
- 48:39Speaker 2: that's where they make their money.
- 48:40Speaker 6: Okay, so it's always concessions across the fact.
- 48:42Speaker 2: There's another there's a gas station right down the street
- 48:44Speaker 2: from the radio station here, and if you notice, their
- 48:46Speaker 2: prices are way out of whack. Yeah, oh huh, like crazy,
- 48:50Speaker 2: they're like a dollar fifty or more per gallon than
- 48:53Speaker 2: any other place within another five block radius. Is they
- 48:56Speaker 2: don't care, right, They're trying to stick it to because
- 48:59Speaker 2: the local operator can set the price higher than whatever's
- 49:03Speaker 2: mandated by whoever they're getting their gas from, you know,
- 49:07Speaker 2: but they can't sell it for any lower. So what
- 49:10Speaker 2: they're doing is they're just like, fine, if we have to,
- 49:12Speaker 2: you know, put up with you know, they they have
- 49:15Speaker 2: like a licensing fear. There's there's something where if you
- 49:18Speaker 2: have that gas station, you have to pay them a
- 49:21Speaker 2: certain you know kind of fee per month or whatever.
- 49:23Speaker 2: It is, like a franchise kind of thing. But they
- 49:26Speaker 2: they do this to discourage people from getting gas there
- 49:29Speaker 2: because they're trying to stick it to the company and
- 49:31Speaker 2: not sell any of their gas.
- 49:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:33Speaker 2: But you know what's crazy is that every day when
- 49:35Speaker 2: I leave working you might have seen this, there are
- 49:37Speaker 2: like four or five Amazon vans at any given times.
- 49:41Speaker 3: So Amazon's willing.
- 49:42Speaker 2: To pay yeah, because the driver that astronomical amount per gallon.
- 49:47Speaker 3: I always see cars at that stage.
- 49:50Speaker 7: To save movies, though, they have to lower the costs
- 49:52Speaker 7: of like food and everything, but the business real estate,
- 49:57Speaker 7: you know, they might be locked into a lot of
- 49:59Speaker 7: bad deals for when it was booming, so they have
- 50:02Speaker 7: to sell stuff at that price to be able to
- 50:04Speaker 7: cover their rent.
- 50:05Speaker 12: Yeah, and I think there's they're gonna maybe try and
- 50:07Speaker 12: figure it out because the popcorn buckets are a big thing.
- 50:09Speaker 12: That's like exclusivity, and people are buying them. So I
- 50:13Speaker 12: think they're gonna have to like go the merch route.
- 50:15Speaker 7: How artists to sell albums. Yeah, they bundle it, that's
- 50:19Speaker 7: not a T shirt, But that's.
- 50:20Speaker 2: Not the studio that would I mean, the studio would
- 50:22Speaker 2: be the one that would benefit off the merch sales,
- 50:24Speaker 2: not the movie theater exclusive because they don't own the trademark,
- 50:28Speaker 2: the brand, they don't own the intellectual property.
- 50:31Speaker 12: For companies do collabs and stuff, right, the company that's
- 50:35Speaker 12: doing the collab with them would still make money, So
- 50:37Speaker 12: I would think the movie theater.
- 50:38Speaker 7: Would still I'm sure they would have to work out
- 50:40Speaker 7: a deal or they get somewhat of a cut because
- 50:42Speaker 7: these movie theaters they are gonna I mean, these movie
- 50:45Speaker 7: companies are gonna want movie theaters.
- 50:47Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, I don't know.
- 50:49Speaker 2: I mean, if you had the opportunity to watch whatever
- 50:52Speaker 2: first run first run home the movie comes out this Friday,
- 50:56Speaker 2: Scream seven, it's coming out, you can watch it at home.
- 50:59Speaker 2: It's gonna watched you twenty five bucks. But you could
- 51:01Speaker 2: watch it at home.
- 51:02Speaker 6: And everyone can watch for that, right.
- 51:04Speaker 2: There are people who will want to go out in
- 51:06Speaker 2: the theater and see that, But there are a lot
- 51:07Speaker 2: of people who don't want to, you know, get the babysitter,
- 51:10Speaker 2: don't have the you know, don't have the freedom within
- 51:13Speaker 2: their schedule to make that happen. They'll go, yeah, I'll
- 51:15Speaker 2: take that fifteen dollars, hot dog, or the fifteen dollars
- 51:18Speaker 2: exactly right.
- 51:19Speaker 3: And hearing people eat and dealing with other craft. Yeah,
- 51:23Speaker 3: because people like theater's experience is over.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Reach, not consider it at all anymore. I don't want
- 51:29Speaker 2: the movie theaters to go away. In fact, I was
- 51:31Speaker 2: just having a moment, uh, just over the last few
- 51:34Speaker 2: days where I had a thought like, man, I just
- 51:36Speaker 2: want things to go back to the way they used
- 51:38Speaker 2: to be.
- 51:38Speaker 6: Like in the eighties.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Yeah, because I was I was watching something and as
- 51:43Speaker 2: it was like this full nostalgia moment where you know, yes,
- 51:46Speaker 2: there's been a lot of advancements in things that make
- 51:49Speaker 2: things more convenient or easy. Oh, there was a meme
- 51:52Speaker 2: I saw where it was like we watched the morning news,
- 51:56Speaker 2: read the daily paper, in the evening news, everything else
- 51:59Speaker 2: in between. Us for living. Yeah, so there was no
- 52:01Speaker 2: like constant screen twenty hour news cycles, the social media,
- 52:07Speaker 2: like comparing yourself to other people like that time in between,
- 52:10Speaker 2: like whenever you got the morning paper and red what
- 52:12Speaker 2: was happening that morning, or listen to the morning radio
- 52:14Speaker 2: update and then until you know, Walter Crunkite, that was
- 52:19Speaker 2: you know, pre my time. But but you know what
- 52:21Speaker 2: I mean, like the evening nude yeah whoever, you know,
- 52:25Speaker 2: everything else in between was just meant for living, you know,
- 52:28Speaker 2: And it wasn't like your you know, I look out
- 52:31Speaker 2: when I'm doing like stage announcements and stuff with these
- 52:34Speaker 2: big concerts, and like just everybody's got phones out and nobody.
- 52:37Speaker 2: Nobody's living in the moment, nobody. And so I had
- 52:40Speaker 2: I just had this, you know, thought about man, you know,
- 52:43Speaker 2: I just want things to go back to the way
- 52:44Speaker 2: they used to be.
- 52:44Speaker 3: Yeah, my childhood movie theater was more of a hangout
- 52:47Speaker 3: because they had like a separate arcade. They had like
- 52:51Speaker 3: little restaurants and like that's a good hang for kids.
- 52:54Speaker 7: Also, say what the advancements, All the advancements are great.
- 52:59Speaker 7: Do you know what has an advanced signage?
- 53:02Speaker 2: Signage? Everywhere sucks nowadays, Like what you mean there's less.
- 53:05Speaker 7: And less signs. Like, so I went to Ikia, right,
- 53:08Speaker 7: I want to do like a like a pickup. There's
- 53:10Speaker 7: no sign to tell me where to go to do
- 53:12Speaker 7: the pick up?
- 53:13Speaker 2: Right?
- 53:13Speaker 7: Oh yeah, when you're in a parking garage, this signage
- 53:17Speaker 7: just sucks on where should go?
- 53:19Speaker 3: See that dude? Who's that Asian dude?
- 53:21Speaker 7: Media sigh, Yeah that guy they incorrect.
- 53:27Speaker 2: Yeah, there's like this trans person that was complaining about
- 53:32Speaker 2: like what bathroom they should use. He goes ish in
- 53:34Speaker 2: your pants anyway, the sign check out the sign. Yeah,
- 53:39Speaker 2: you know what's funny. You read the comments and I
- 53:41Speaker 2: got nobody. Nobody goes after him.
- 53:43Speaker 6: Everybody.
- 53:44Speaker 2: I love him.
- 53:44Speaker 3: What's his name?
- 53:46Speaker 2: I've never known his name. Yeah, it's so funny. And
- 53:49Speaker 2: he's man. Here they're making dumb money on signs. Yeah,
- 53:52Speaker 2: those are cool signs. They're like stuff. We can get
- 53:55Speaker 2: one for the studio, Well, order one from them, Okay,
- 53:58Speaker 2: we'll get him on the phone.
- 53:58Speaker 3: We'll order one.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Burn Oh my god, I can watch these compilation videos.
- 54:07Speaker 2: So thank you everybody. On the text he came through
- 54:08Speaker 2: the the guy with the sign company, Tony Tony from.
- 54:12Speaker 3: El sign company.
- 54:13Speaker 4: Dude.
- 54:14Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's brilliant. He's so funny.
- 54:16Speaker 2: It's brilliant, Like you have to go, you have to
- 54:19Speaker 2: go all the way with it. You can't just kind
- 54:21Speaker 2: of toe the line on something like that. And he,
- 54:22Speaker 2: I mean, he goes full throttle. It's so funny.
- 54:25Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, oh oh, speak of social media stuff, do
- 54:29Speaker 6: you guys know who punched the monkey is? I'm okay,
- 54:33Speaker 6: big punch is like a national treasure. But here's the thing.
- 54:38Speaker 6: Things aren't going super super great for him. I I
- 54:40Speaker 6: don't know if he has.
- 54:41Speaker 2: He ended up in your feet.
- 54:42Speaker 3: I've seen it, but I didn't want to watch it.
- 54:45Speaker 2: I didn't want.
- 54:45Speaker 3: It because it's supposed to be Mega said.
- 54:48Speaker 2: I want to watch it, but also sweet, all I've
- 54:51Speaker 2: seen is I see there's this video to keep popping
- 54:53Speaker 2: up punch.
- 54:54Speaker 3: You see that?
- 54:54Speaker 2: And then it's a monkey and a stuffed animal. Okay,
- 54:57Speaker 2: but I don't know why. I don't know why.
- 55:00Speaker 6: Oh, and there's more, greg really so it's it's a
- 55:02Speaker 6: little baby monkey. He carries around a little stuffed orangutan.
- 55:06Speaker 6: And his name is Panchi. He's a little Macoq monkey
- 55:08Speaker 6: and he lives in this enclosure and in Japan and
- 55:11Speaker 6: the zoo and he was abandoned by his mom and
- 55:13Speaker 6: trained by the zoo stuff. So he literally carries this
- 55:16Speaker 6: little stuff monkey everywhere he goes. He drags it behind
- 55:19Speaker 6: him and it like helps him cope with like not
- 55:21Speaker 6: having a mommy and super super trauma. Uh, so he's
- 55:26Speaker 6: been he's been trying to get him like to fit
- 55:29Speaker 6: in with the other baby monkeys, but the parents of
- 55:32Speaker 6: those monkeys keep chasing him away and sometimes they like
- 55:35Speaker 6: toss him around. Oh, they're bullying him hard, really really bad.
- 55:39Speaker 9: Maybe he's a bad monkey.
- 55:40Speaker 11: We don't know.
- 55:40Speaker 6: He's a good monkey. He just needs a chance. So
- 55:43Speaker 6: apparently this is normal in the animal world.
- 55:46Speaker 2: But yes, okay, okay, Now we can't apply human rules
- 55:49Speaker 2: to the animal. The animals already instinctually have it all
- 55:52Speaker 2: figured out about how they to be mean to you're
- 55:56Speaker 2: you're you're applying, you're applying your your your pussy society
- 56:00Speaker 2: human things onto animals.
- 56:03Speaker 3: It's the animal kingdom.
- 56:04Speaker 2: It's not like the humans taught these monkeys how to
- 56:06Speaker 2: interact with other people of other animals in their own species.
- 56:10Speaker 3: It's it's it's part of their process.
- 56:14Speaker 2: It's tough them up.
- 56:18Speaker 3: Maybe if he wants to fit in and stop dragging
- 56:19Speaker 3: around the stuff.
- 56:22Speaker 16: Serious again, you're trying to apply you're trying to apply humans. Answer,
- 56:27Speaker 16: You're trying to apply human rules to the animal kingdom.
- 56:30Speaker 16: It doesn't work that way. It's not an animated Disney film.
- 56:33Speaker 2: It's called a sack.
- 56:35Speaker 12: But as we already interfered, we already took in this
- 56:38Speaker 12: monkey and gave him.
- 56:40Speaker 2: They don't know that he was bored into.
- 56:44Speaker 11: A zoo.
- 56:45Speaker 2: Yeah, so, and what they're trying to do is they're
- 56:47Speaker 2: trying to get him back on track with the other
- 56:48Speaker 2: monkeys as opposed to just keeping them with humans.
- 56:51Speaker 6: They do say that.
- 56:53Speaker 2: By the way, for the record, it's not that I
- 56:55Speaker 2: don't feel bad for him. That's not I do feel
- 56:58Speaker 2: bad for him. But it's the animal kingdom. That's just
- 57:00Speaker 2: how it works. It is.
- 57:02Speaker 3: And at the same token, I agree with you, Wouldie,
- 57:04Speaker 3: but I also don't want.
- 57:05Speaker 6: To watch it. Oh my god, it was so funny.
- 57:08Speaker 6: There was a video of it, and you know how
- 57:09Speaker 6: other people you follow on Instagram, you see their comment first,
- 57:13Speaker 6: Oh yeah, well someone we work with, Julie, that's it.
- 57:16Speaker 6: I'm getting on a plane. Oh yeah.
- 57:18Speaker 12: There are so many memes of that going around, like
- 57:20Speaker 12: Punch is being bullied. Now we have to fly to Japan.
- 57:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:22Speaker 10: I also someone that got a stuffed animal. They're selling
- 57:24Speaker 10: them at Ikea now.
- 57:26Speaker 7: Yeah yeah they know they yeah, they were already selling
- 57:31Speaker 7: them at Ikea and then they sold it. I went
- 57:33Speaker 7: to my local Ikea not looking for this. I just
- 57:35Speaker 7: happen to be there and I looked over in the
- 57:37Speaker 7: stuffed area. It was sold out.
- 57:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:40Speaker 2: Well, Ikia sent this zoo in Japan a ton of
- 57:43Speaker 2: these things to give to all of them so that
- 57:45Speaker 2: they all like thinking like, maybe that will help.
- 57:49Speaker 6: Beat up to them fake monkey. So the zoo said, it's
- 57:51Speaker 6: actually good. The Punch is showing resilience and mental strength
- 57:55Speaker 6: and announced that he's making progress. He's slowly fitting into
- 57:58Speaker 6: the group. But like it is a tough watch man.
- 58:01Speaker 2: Man, it's terrible. Hey man, this is why, like when
- 58:03Speaker 2: we were kids, like, yeah, you didn't want to be
- 58:05Speaker 2: the kid wearing the helmet, you know, the kid dragging
- 58:07Speaker 2: the stuffing.
- 58:08Speaker 3: You didn't want to be.
- 58:09Speaker 2: You didn't want to be the kid that was still
- 58:11Speaker 2: wearing a bike helmet, you know, like because that those
- 58:13Speaker 2: weren't a thing yet. Those weren't a thing yet. So
- 58:15Speaker 2: like you didn't do anything that really made you stand
- 58:18Speaker 2: out in any kind of like weak way. You know.
- 58:21Speaker 6: I just really think the monkeys are judging him for
- 58:23Speaker 6: having a stuff.
- 58:24Speaker 2: Yes, you really did, that.
- 58:25Speaker 3: Would be my guess.
- 58:26Speaker 6: But it's because it's because he's a loner.
- 58:29Speaker 3: You're contradicting yourself. These monkeys don't know what a stuff down,
- 58:33Speaker 3: They don't know what.
- 58:33Speaker 2: Tough animals, but they know that he's different for whatever
- 58:37Speaker 2: around this thing. Yeah, Like I'm not saying they apply
- 58:40Speaker 2: the context of what the stuffed animal means, right think,
- 58:42Speaker 2: but like you know, they beat up the stuff's weird.
- 58:45Speaker 2: He has something, right, They think he's weird, That's what
- 58:47Speaker 2: I'm saying. They probably think he's weird, Like what what.
- 58:49Speaker 3: Is that thing?
- 58:50Speaker 2: They don't know what it is. I think that's something's
- 58:52Speaker 2: going to hurt us. Is this some kind of thread
- 58:53Speaker 2: or like it's weird?
- 58:54Speaker 6: It's because it's an outsider monkey trying to mess with
- 58:57Speaker 6: their babies. But he just wants a friend.
- 58:59Speaker 17: I will say.
- 59:00Speaker 12: I mean, there's been an update. He does have an
- 59:02Speaker 12: adult protector monkey who grabs him, cleans him, protects him from.
- 59:06Speaker 9: The other monkeys.
- 59:06Speaker 12: Every time that adult monkey comes with him to be like,
- 59:09Speaker 12: what do you doing? Don't go over there.
- 59:11Speaker 2: That's probably learn its adorable, probably part of the process
- 59:18Speaker 2: of like what monkey is? What goes on in the
- 59:20Speaker 2: monkey world? You know?
- 59:21Speaker 12: But it took so long for one of them to
- 59:23Speaker 12: finally protect him and take him in.
- 59:26Speaker 9: There's much rarer and worse videos you can watch.
- 59:29Speaker 6: Oh, I know, Morgan, you send them to me.
- 59:32Speaker 2: What's the what's the name of that one account? Is
- 59:34Speaker 2: it called like nature is Metal or whatever?
- 59:38Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 59:39Speaker 3: Yeah, because that that's that's what the animal world is.
- 59:42Speaker 6: Get that, but by please just don't I get it
- 59:46Speaker 6: like lizards and antelope. But okay, fine, but a baby
- 59:49Speaker 6: monkey that is too adorable to see this happen to Yes,
- 59:54Speaker 6: it's it's rough.
- 59:55Speaker 2: When they say you don't want to know how the
- 59:56Speaker 2: sausage is made.
- 59:57Speaker 6: I don't want to know that.
- 59:57Speaker 2: You want to see the kitchen of your favorite restaurant.
- 59:59Speaker 2: You you know, if you really love monkeys or you
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: really love whatever it is, like, you know, you don't
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: want to know like what goes on in.
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: Their own Yeah, grab monkey and like a couple of months,
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: it's gonna start throwing poop at you.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: When I saw the still frame, Gina and read what
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: it was about. I just kept scrolling.
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: Smart, that's what you need to do. Very smart.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Don't want to watch that.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: No, don't put that in your head. Well, Punchy, they're
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: punching him.
- 1:00:26Speaker 9: I mean, he's cute, but come on, guys.
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: He's so cute. Well anyway, that's yeah, that's what's happening.
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: I can't I can't think about little punch.
- 1:00:33Speaker 12: Any I know in one punch like would get bullied
- 1:00:36Speaker 12: and then run back to his little animal. It was
- 1:00:38Speaker 12: like the saddest thing ever.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: He just wanted love.
- 1:00:41Speaker 9: He never heard about nine to eleven.
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: Need to relax, agreed, that's only for people who haven't
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: seen the video.
- 1:00:49Speaker 12: My hands are around.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: My do you feel each individual pump?
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: And we're into another new hour inside in activity, training
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: for a politically correct world. Hope you had a great weekend. Yeah, weekend,
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: cheers and jeers Sea masses.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: What you got said?
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: Cheers to all the people who got the hell out
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: of the Northeast earlier in their life who said, you
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: know what, I don't need to live in Boston or
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: New York.
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: I can live in South Carolina or Florida and it's
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: much nicer weather wise.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Yeah, because for a good four or five months of
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: the year, it's absolute misery.
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: I have friends who live in Boston and this is
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: the third or fourth giant snowstorm they've had.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: You can say that about it. Like Chicago. Chicago's got
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: like rut three and a half four good months of weather.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: But it's a great place. There's gonna be some pander
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: some pandering backs. I prepare for that, and it's like
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: you're basing everything just on on weather.
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: Yes, I am quite and it's it's quite quite accurate. Plus, Greg,
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: if you're up in Boston, oh, during the winter, and
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: how many hours of sunlight you get?
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: How many? About three?
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: That's lovely. Yeah, but they can you can be a
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: volunteer shuffle.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Now here's the thing. I get it. You can go
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: to the Cheers Bar because when the Pilgrims came over,
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: that's where they landed and it was just the easiest thing.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: And people are and we didn't have you know, roadways
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: and trains for a few hundred years, So I get that.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: But the past, right in the past, I don't know,
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: one hundred years, and people do it.
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: They leave New York and Boston and they go down
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: to Florida when they die and you get old. That's
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: been the trend for decades now. But I think nowadays
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: there's enough people who are like, oh, this blows. I
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: don't have to do this. I can get the hell
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: out of here and go somewhere else. So cheers to
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: and Sammy's family did it years ago. They moved out
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: of Springfield, Massachusettsfield roughly.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Close enough, no county, okay.
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: So with so cheers to those people, because right now
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: you can look back. I've got friends texting me photos
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: and videos of just the feet because this is already,
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: this storm is piling on the feet that were still
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: left over from the last storm a month ago. It's
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: just impossible. So cheers to all of you. All jeers however,
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: mant are you gonna hate this? But cheers to China.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: What happened in China?
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: The party garbage country in general, garbage country is what
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: he will.
- 1:03:04Speaker 5: At least he wasn't painter to China because they got
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: like they were like twelfth place in the medal count
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: for the Olympics.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: How what's going on?
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: They usually kill you if you don't get a gold.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: That's the thing.
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: Number of years ago we heard like Oh, they're grabbing
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: babies and throwing them in like these athlete concentration camps
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: so they could beat everybody and show them.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: An awesome country.
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: They are They're not an awesome country, and these these
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: Olympics are proven that maybe.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: They're more of like a summer Olympics country.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: You know, why would you not want to dominate in
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: everything if you could train people to be absolute champions?
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: I think I think we're seeing the cracks in the
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: China armor here. Uh, you know, they're their their birth
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: rate is was it one baby per per mom per
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: household over the course of the lifetime there are population
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: is about the crater. Their Olympic results are cratering.
- 1:03:50Speaker 7: Have you seen the conspiracies that they've actually been lying
- 1:03:53Speaker 7: about the overall population that they even have.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised, yeah.
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: Because I mean, who can even look into the census
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: because they have like these giant empty cities.
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: Well that's not that's that's people have pointed out about
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: their economies. A lot of their economies based on real
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: estate value and in construction, when all these like Minister said,
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: all these empty megalopolis of millions of people are just
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: just big empty sky rises exists out there, and sorry,
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: jeers to Canada too.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: The one thing they were supposed to win in hockey. Yeah,
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: that's a tough pill to swallow there.
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: And pile that on top of the now thirty three
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: year losing streak. They haven't won a Stanley Cup either,
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: any Canadian team has.
- 1:04:35Speaker 11: Damn.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: Yeah, they're just her.
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: That's the one thing you're supposed to be. It's like
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: I America lost at Fatness, we'd.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Be like, yeah, well sorry Canada and China, Gina weekend
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: cheers and jeers.
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: Okay, so cheers to Alyssa lou Man. This girl is
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: incredible and they're absolutely going to make a movie about her.
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: She was the American who won uh in figure skating in.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: So it was empty sister, right, lucky lou Lucky lou
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Oh not kidding, getting lucky, look gotcha, gotcha. I was like,
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: you see so close?
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: Yeah anyway, I said, low key lucky.
- 1:05:15Speaker 11: Anyway.
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: She she has a crazy story. She was the youngest
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: ever US champion at thirteen, and then she retired at
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: sixteen after the Beijing Olympics because she plays like six.
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: And then she was like, out, I'm retired. I'm never
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: skating again. She went to like hike, you know, like
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: to base camp at the thank you and just was like,
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: had nothing to do with skating. And then two years later,
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: when she was eighteen, she called her coaches. She's like,
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: think I want to do this again, and they were
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: like a bad idea. And then two years after that
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: she wins gold at the Olympics. Her performance was crazy.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: It was like disco. It was awesome and I'm not
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: a big Olympics person, but this one she's amazing And
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: jeers to this stupid fing America's Next Top Model docuseries.
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: What it is so lame, It is so boring, it's
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: so good. It is not good maybe because you're younger
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: and you didn't like see the show.
- 1:06:05Speaker 9: I grew up watching it.
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: Then I don't get it as an Tyra comes across
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: as like a vapid narcissist and we're all supposed to
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: be shocked and outraged and like this is like a
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: big deal and everyone's like, man can apologize. I don't
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: nothing they said mattered. It was so boring. They I
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: wanted to hear about the allegations that they like change
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: the prizes on the winners. I want to hear about
- 1:06:25Speaker 6: like the producers, like deciding who wins. I want to
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: hear about the beef between Tyra and Jay that when
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: he quit and she wouldn't talk to him there. This
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: was such a nothing waste of time. I truly don't
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: know why people are enjoying they're.
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: Coming out with another one. It's so because this one
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: was actually produced by Tyra. I mean, I believe there
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: was some of that what you discovered in it, but extent,
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: and it was just like it makes her look it
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: doesn't make her look good at all, but they don't
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: like he's producing it, like he's not hiding behind like
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: Gina said.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Like they mentioned the beefs and like.
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: You know, the falling it's appropriate to talk.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: About the falling outs between her and like the other
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: people that were judges and stuff like that, but they
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: don't go like too deep and what it was all about.
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: Straight up said, I'm not answering that. I'll call him myself.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Yeah, like the other people that the other judges they
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: talked about it.
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: Yeah, it was just it was just so like I
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: just felt like it's such a.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: Waste finished it.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: It was it was boring. We're going to think you're good.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: We're going to think you're the only one who likes it.
- 1:07:27Speaker 9: That's wild.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: It's just so much because.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: This should be something like right in Greg's willhousehouse, no dog, Yes,
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: boring Menace. Weekend cheers and jeers. Well, obviously we had
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: a great event. But during the weekend I went to
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: this little secret show for Gabriel Iglesias because he's like
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: ramping up for that big show with our friend Joe Coy.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: They're doing seventy thousand people at Sofi Stadium, but he
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: did like a two hundred person show and I got
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: to get into that and that was really fun because
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: he he has this whole month off right now, but
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: he wants to do all these holes.
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: You want to do, like all these little pop up
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: shows to make sure that he's ready for the show. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: So it was fun to go to that. And but
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: my gears though, was, uh, planner boxes, Greg, you feel
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: me right? So I want to buy these planner boxes
- 1:08:26Speaker 7: for my balcony so I can like cover the balcony
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: so my dogs can't look over the balcony and bark
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: at people. And uh, I want this like these modern
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: style like tall thin ones every time I want to
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: go buy these things, I can never find them. Right
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: before Uary, yeah, so I go, but no, you go
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: to Lows and they have nine thousand different planner boxes,
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: but not the ones that I want.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: Said, I thought it was gonna be maybe it was,
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: you know, any kind of outdoor like gardening or outdoor
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: kind of plant.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: None of those anymore.
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: Yeah, like nothing, just like close everything shouldn't be seasonal anymore.
- 1:09:02Speaker 7: But anyway, so these planner boxes, dude, Greg, right, a
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: trillion dollars. You know, they cost like five cents, right, dude,
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: I would love to see the markup like eighty dollars
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: for these planner boxes that again I know they make
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: in China for ten cents like. And then of course
- 1:09:24Speaker 7: they don't have they're like plastic like, so the the
- 1:09:28Speaker 7: initial ones that I wanted, they're like plastic, and I
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: don't know, like kind of some kind of compound on
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: over the plastic, right, so they kind of they kind
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: of look like they're almost rock basically, right, some kind
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: of maybe spackle, I don't know. Anyways, so then they're
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: the wrong side. So I have to take them back
- 1:09:45Speaker 7: to those and they go, oh, we don't do exchanges,
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: so you have to do full return and then get
- 1:09:49Speaker 7: the other planet boxes I want. So I do all
- 1:09:52Speaker 7: that kind of stuff, and then I'm hauling around this
- 1:09:54Speaker 7: I don't know, like a hand truck type thing. I
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: run over my foot with it, so worse again, I'm
- 1:10:00Speaker 7: set because I know these planter boxes that I'm spending
- 1:10:02Speaker 7: hundreds of dollars on thirty cents that.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: They pulled on the way you describe them, it sounds
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: like they're fancier like than just a basic.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: They're pretty basic. I have a rectangular one and they
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: coated it with something that makes it look it looks
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: like stone, and that was like seventeen thousand dollars.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys, you're you're hitting on something. I noticed this.
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: I noticed somebody ran into a big what I thought
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: was stone sign outside an apartment complex.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: It was. It was absolutely just like inside styrofoam.
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: Yeah, and they just spray the speckle stuff on it
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: and it's been it's been sitting there for decades.
- 1:10:33Speaker 6: It's like movie match huh, right, that's what they do
- 1:10:36Speaker 6: on yeah, movie sets.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: Yeah, like the what looks like brick and stone and
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: everything else.
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: How was lifting that?
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: Well, that's going back when there was all this thing
- 1:10:44Speaker 7: with the with the tariff thing that was going on,
- 1:10:47Speaker 7: and then like the distributors in China were like, hey,
- 1:10:50Speaker 7: we make this stuff like super cheap, so just go
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: ahead and just buy it from us directly.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: And I would love to find out who you may
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: buy online, just have them shipped your house. Hello team,
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: right man, Yeah, I have to like you. But you know,
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: if you can't find them in stock somewhere, just yeah,
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: run it around from Oh well, you know me, I'm
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: very very impatient person. I was like, I'd rather just
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: go to the store and just buy it. Yeah, but
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: I'm thinking if it's not there, rather than ya hunt
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: it down.
- 1:11:16Speaker 7: So then I end up getting these other planner boxes,
- 1:11:18Speaker 7: but I don't really love them.
- 1:11:20Speaker 9: So U min'ster an ongoing grass. Have you seen that?
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: Yeah, that's not the part that I want because okay,
- 1:11:26Speaker 7: why did like I want just like flush planner box.
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: But then they love going to a little angle, little
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: side angle where they go where it's.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: On the bottom. Yeah, this is one of those things.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Can you imagine, menace if we went back in time
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: and found your twenty five year old self and said
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: that at some point you're gonna be. You're going to
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: be emotionally over the top about planter boxes and shape
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: and able to it makes you have It's just it's
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: a very.
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: Adult thing, right like you You knew me at that
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: age too.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Remember when I was going crazy. I was trying to
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: find that uh hamper, the hamper the win your basket did.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I was going hard for the right.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: Hamper, and he was going hard trying to find it.
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: I am getting trying to find a new launder basket
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: and lunch hamper. I'm in the market. Yeah, he who
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: says we're not exciting people? Yeah.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: I tried to find a pot for.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: A look, I went to a comedy show and I'm
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: like looking for it. So I'm still having an exciting life.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: And I tried to find a pot for a small
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: plant that I keep on a console table. And this
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: pot was no bigger than a salad bowl. It was
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: one hundred and ten dollars what And I didn't buy
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: it because I thought, was this an actual artifact from Rome?
- 1:12:36Speaker 15: Like?
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: What the hell?
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: Sammy weekend cheers and jeers, Well, my.
- 1:12:40Speaker 12: Cheers is to punch the monkey for finally getting a protector. Yes, yes,
- 1:12:44Speaker 12: in the zoo because he was bullied so much and
- 1:12:46Speaker 12: I had to watch so many videos on that. So
- 1:12:48Speaker 12: my cheers is to him actually getting a protector in
- 1:12:52Speaker 12: the animal kingdom.
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: This is that little baby monkey thing I got put
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: in with adults and then they all ye, bully, bully,
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: kick the crap out of it.
- 1:12:57Speaker 12: Yes, And my jeers is honestly to me for not
- 1:13:02Speaker 12: having Triple A because we've talked about it in here
- 1:13:05Speaker 12: so much and how so great it is to.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: Have a sponsor of the show.
- 1:13:09Speaker 12: Yes, and I didn't have it. I got a flat
- 1:13:13Speaker 12: tire over the weekend. I pulled up to our event
- 1:13:15Speaker 12: and Timar was like, hey, you have a flat tire.
- 1:13:18Speaker 12: And I didn't know. I didn't pop. It wasn't any
- 1:13:21Speaker 12: I just pulled into the spot. I don't know, good driver,
- 1:13:24Speaker 12: and I had I had to find someone else on
- 1:13:27Speaker 12: the promotions team who had Triple A to help me out.
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: Oh my god, Oh fraudulent? Is that froud?
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: Yea?
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: We do it in college all the time. We'd have
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Triple A.
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: We all had crappy, broke down cars, and we'd all
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: you get like three or whatever toes or whatever, and
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: we'd all be like we'd all ask whenever somebody who's
- 1:13:45Speaker 5: got one left on your.
- 1:13:47Speaker 12: We didn't, no, no, just put a spare tire on it.
- 1:13:50Speaker 9: Yeah, but Willy letting you drive around with low tires.
- 1:13:53Speaker 12: He doesn't know he when is he ever in my car?
- 1:13:57Speaker 12: We got in his car.
- 1:13:59Speaker 10: We're the nice Yeah, you should walk around every day
- 1:14:03Speaker 10: or so, you know.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: Wash the car.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: Understanding.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: Second, it's your job as the man of the household
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: to you know, make sure that all these things are
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: in working orders.
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: Well, if he was the man hoole, but he doesn't
- 1:14:15Speaker 6: live with her.
- 1:14:16Speaker 9: It's also true.
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: Are out on a certain day. Well, it's a good
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: practice when they move in the game exactly.
- 1:14:22Speaker 7: Oh, since we're talking about tires, does anybody know about
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: these ev tires that they're selling at Costco? Are they
- 1:14:27Speaker 7: any good evy tires? Yeah, so apparently you're supposed to
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: get a couple extra miles out of them, but I
- 1:14:32Speaker 7: don't know how much they are.
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: Is it because the electric are heavier? Problem, So they're
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: wearing tires up faster, gotta be a little bit more durable.
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: And you get some I'm gonna probably I'll probably get them,
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: I don't know, depending on the price.
- 1:14:47Speaker 9: Though hopefully you do.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: Everyone's got any feedback from I need feedback. Tires, yeah,
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: body plants. Yeah. On the text over to two to

- 1:15:00Speaker 2: Woody Show's next hang up in cc atologies.
- 1:15:04Speaker 11: This easiology again. It's season ology Woody Show right back.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: Okay, okay, okay, I think I know what that is.
- 1:15:17Speaker 11: Yeah, this is the Woodie Show.
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: Finds follow us on social media, look for us there
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: at the Woody Show. You said, it's a text ot
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: to two two nine eighty seven. Phones always open, like
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: twenty four hours a day. Eight seven seven forty four, Woodie,
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: Because even when the show is not on the air
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: and you calling, you get the after hours voicemail and
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: you can leave us whenever you like. You get that number,
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: same number that you called during the show. Eight seven
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: seven forty four Woody. Uh, Gray, somebody left us one
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: for you.
- 1:15:46Speaker 5: Hey, show me love big time.
- 1:15:48Speaker 17: Just call on listening to Gray and Samie and all
- 1:15:51Speaker 17: you guys talk about you're making decisions over thirty and
- 1:15:55Speaker 17: based on what your parents being a chat and this
- 1:15:57Speaker 17: and that. But Greg, I just wanted to remind you
- 1:16:00Speaker 17: that for a long time weren't you making the decisions
- 1:16:03Speaker 17: to just go to your parents for Christmas and never
- 1:16:05Speaker 17: do it at your house or do a certain holiday
- 1:16:06Speaker 17: at your house because it would make them mad or
- 1:16:08Speaker 17: they would be upset, Like is it not caring what
- 1:16:11Speaker 17: they think? So I'm just kind of baffled that you're like, Oh,
- 1:16:14Speaker 17: it's weird that you care what your parents making to
- 1:16:16Speaker 17: make decisions based off that, when I feel like a
- 1:16:18Speaker 17: lot of instances where you've made that decision in your
- 1:16:21Speaker 17: life based on what.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Your parents thinking. So I forget about that.
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: I mean, most of the decisions I make, I would
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: hope I would get their approval, even at my advanced age,
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: like I think what they think about that? And the
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: Christmas thing was one time in my life that I
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: skipped going to Christmas there.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: I mean, you were so worried about Oh well, god, it.
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: Ate me up thinking like, oh my god, I'm going
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: to ruin their life if I would go there.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: Totally now that I think, to be fair to Greg here,
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: I think it would have been less of a conundrum
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: had his brother not just passed away within that same
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: you know, like you know, Egg lost his brother, and
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: then that Christmas Greg decides to really you know, you
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: know again, and now I'm not coming for Christmas either,
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: because I was a surgery.
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: That was a raw move, dude, which I never told
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: them about. But yeah, I just I didn't want them
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: to think, like, is that why I know I didn't
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: tell them. But the thing is, we kind of had
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: a delayed Christmas because I saw them a couple of
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: weeks ago the anniversary for their sixtieth anniversary. It was awesome.
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: We all got a hotel room. We had another set
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: of friends there. So my mom said she felt like
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: she was in high school again, and she's like, oh,
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: this is like a party and we're all we all
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: have our different rooms. There was no drama, there was
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: no fighting. Everybody got along, drinks were flowing, and it
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: was bittersweet for me because I thought, why didn't I
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: have this kind of cool friendship with my parents when
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: we were all younger.
- 1:17:53Speaker 6: Because they wouldn't allow that.
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: So you wouldn't allow it.
- 1:17:56Speaker 11: I wouldn't.
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: But now it's like we just get along.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it's different.
- 1:18:00Speaker 6: Because there's less that you do, not depending on each other.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I hear from a lot. I hear from a
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: lot of my friends who have kids, who are like
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: now in their thirties and about how great the relationship
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: is now, you know, and and like you can't have
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: that when the kids are teenagers or in even their
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: early twenties. And they sent me this graph about like
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: you know how much you respect your parents and you know,
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: think that they know what they're talking about. So when
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: you're like a little kid, it's still above zero, right,
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: And then from thirteen to about nineteen, it's way below
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: the line of zero, so that you think they're so dumb,
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: and then you start coming out of it about twenty
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: five and about thirty is where most people can start
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: to go, you know what, man, my parents really were
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: looking out for me and have my best interests in
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: herror or.
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: The very least. They were doing the best they could
- 1:18:48Speaker 6: with the knowledge they had.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: So you can't be close and like friends like that
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: until I think you have that understanding about you know, that.
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: Makes perfect sense who they were and what they were trying.
- 1:18:59Speaker 7: To do, because kids lack understanding until they're thirty because
- 1:19:03Speaker 7: they're dumb.
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: Yeah, and you have a different dynamic between the two
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: of you. They're being your parent. Now you're kind of equals.
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: I tell my kids all the time. I said, you know,
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: someday you'll realize that. You know, I was actually like
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: trying to do goodbye in and give you good advice.
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: And what I was talking about.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: And you'll miss me when I'm gone, right, yeah, So
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: what they say, the older you get, you'll feel bad,
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: and I hope you do. The older you get, the
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: smarter your parents get. Yeah right right right. Oh, so
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: Greg when he spent some time with his parents, remember
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: we were doing hot take dating with dumb ass Tyler,
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: and so we sent Greg with some hot.
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: Takes relationship hot take.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: His parents have been together for sixty years.
- 1:19:40Speaker 6: I don't know anyone else that can hold that record.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: Really, nobody.
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: I'm sure there's tons where Greg sits with his dad
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: and they have conversations.
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: That's where we learned about some of the things that
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: Greg did when he was a kid, Yeah, a little
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: and things like that.
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: And this time around, I actually wasn't drunk when I
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: talked to him, and I do think for future episodes
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: of me sitting with my dad, we both need to
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: be drunk, because but I did ask him a few
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: of these quote hot takes, like should you go to
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: bed angry? For example, all right, so agree or disagree,
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: and why it's actually better to just go to bed
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: angry because a well rested brain is much better at
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: handling disagreements the next day.
- 1:20:20Speaker 15: Well, I agree, because we do that all the time,
- 1:20:23Speaker 15: go to bed angry depending on the issue. It's hard
- 1:20:26Speaker 15: to stop being angry all of a sudden at midnight
- 1:20:29Speaker 15: just because you're going to bed.
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: I agree with that. Sleep it off. Yeah, I agree
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: with that.
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: People go you never go to bed angry, No, no,
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: because you get some sleep.
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: Kick We just yeah, exactly. He's also very old fashioned
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: when it comes to living together before marriage.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we just believe that you need to live
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: together before you.
- 1:20:51Speaker 6: Get back to kick the tires.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: I guess Greg's dad doesn't agree.
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: Do not marry until you've lived together for three years
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: because it takes time to know how somebody really is
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: at home.
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: Well, I disagree with that.
- 1:21:04Speaker 15: I disagree with the idea of people living together without
- 1:21:09Speaker 15: getting married.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: Well, you must really disagree with.
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: My life I have. I have some comments about that.
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't follow up on that, like slipped and
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: hit delete on the.
- 1:21:29Speaker 12: Living in.
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: Your relationship will only ever rise to the level of
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: your self esteem.
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know what that question means.
- 1:21:39Speaker 15: But I don't have a problem with self esteem, so
- 1:21:42Speaker 15: maybe we can answer it that way.
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: Well, that's good to hear. What about mom's self aslam?
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: Oh she has lots.
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: I'm basically saying, like, you'll you'll, you'll take what you
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: what you think you deserve.
- 1:21:55Speaker 9: I agree with that.
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like that. I don't get it really, Yeah,
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: what I mean, it's all for your talk. I agree
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: with that.
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: Well, I don't really you accept what you think you deserve.
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: So if some guys like extra crappy to you, you're
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: something about you, things that that's as good as it's
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: going to get for you.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: And that's maybe yeah, okay, maybe, Like a tied to
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: you said, you learn from other relationships, like if you
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: grew up in a house where you know, parents weren't
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: all lovey dovey or barely spoke to each other, there's
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: a lot of resentment or whatever. You just figured that
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: that's how relationships we're supposed to be.
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: I guess this is what marriage looks like, right, Yeah.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I could see that because it's the example that
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: was set right.
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: Right, And then relationships being easy, are they easy. Relationships
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: are the easiest things in the world. If you're with
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: the right person.
- 1:22:38Speaker 15: Well, I think that's uh goes without saying that it's
- 1:22:41Speaker 15: the right person, you know, everything works better.
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: That's his nice way of saying, duh. Question next one.
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: This next one is pretty good, and maybe we would
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: have I don't know, got a different answer had you
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: guys been drinking.
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: Exactly, had my mom not been sitting there. Yes, it's
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: about porn this one. Men shouldn't watch porn probably ever,
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: but definitely not while in a relationship.
- 1:23:08Speaker 15: Oh, I guess I agree. I don't see why why
- 1:23:13Speaker 15: watching it at one time and not another time is
- 1:23:15Speaker 15: it makes a difference, But try to stay away from it.
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: Okay, you never went to one of those in New
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: York City, one of those adult theaters.
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: Even in my college days. Things were different in those days. Yeah.
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I.
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: Like how some people prefer to make their own clothes.
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: I prefer to make my own with your mother, he's
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: a copyright which you said your dad sounds like Alan Arkin?
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: Yeah he does. Oh, I loved Alan Arkin. Yeah? What
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: about Uh? Just a kind of a general sex hot take.
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: Don't just expect sex if you're not working on actual intimacy.
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: I'll just say I agree and leave.
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: It at that. You know you're saying that because mom's
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: sitting in the room. He kind of froze up. Yeah,
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: a little bit.
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: Well, I think anytime you're having that kind of conversation depends.
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: Your parents are very you know, they're very straightly, they
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: are very button Yeah. Like if I would have sat
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: there and have that conversation with my dad, it would be.
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: Two different things.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: Different.
- 1:24:15Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: What about dating after a relationship? Don't date for a
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: year after the end of a serious relationship.
- 1:24:22Speaker 15: I'll I'll find out if that ever happens to me,
- 1:24:25Speaker 15: whether I have to wait.
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: A year or not. Various, It depends.
- 1:24:29Speaker 15: It depends how serious the relationship was, how long it lasted.
- 1:24:33Speaker 15: Sometimes you shouldn't date it at.
- 1:24:35Speaker 4: All at all.
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: Well, you had a close friend who had been married
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: for decades, her husband passed away and she was dating
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: within was it like it was about two months? Right?
- 1:24:46Speaker 4: Within a week?
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: Within a week? Okay? What a flore Ye?
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: Damn?
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: Well, I mean technically was dead. So he was dead.
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: Yeah, death us parts you guys are apart? Yeah, right,
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: and then what does he think about little white li lies?
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: Pay attention, dumbass tyler. Honesty is mandatory. Even white lies
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: are still lies.
- 1:25:08Speaker 15: Well that's not exactly true. Sometimes white lies are important
- 1:25:12Speaker 15: or necessary, I should say, and I'll use the word
- 1:25:15Speaker 15: diplomacy or being tactful instead of calling it a white light. Now,
- 1:25:20Speaker 15: if my wife came home from the hairdresser and she
- 1:25:23Speaker 15: asked for my honest opinion, I might be in trouble.
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: It's then don't ask. And then what about certain money matters, Okay,
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: like keeping, being financially independent, separate from each other. Yeah,
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: well that's that's my mom and my stepdad, so they
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: keep completely. They've been married for decades.
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: It's in I don't know. I feel like it's to
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: an insane degree.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: Though, Nancy, Oh's John keep a little tally?
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: Keep yourself financially independent?
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: Oh I am, but my wife depends on me.
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: Yeah, I take it.
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: And then something that you agree with, Woody, I'm sure,
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: is that you should set money aside for a housekeeper,
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: because you always say, what is your time worth?
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: Well, it doesn't have to be for that or something
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: along those, just something something that buys you, like time
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: that you would rather be using for other.
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: Things, And is it worth it?
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: And if you could do it, Like I'm just saying,
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: like you live beyond your means, but like you know,
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: you could wash your own car, right, yes, but most
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: people go to the car wash, right why? Way faster
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: and easier, exactly right, So you know you don't have
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: to spend money in the car wash. You have a hose,
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: sure you know what I mean, sponging, and you could
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: do it. But what does he think about something?
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: Always budget for a housekeeper an open question.
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: I don't think that's necessary.
- 1:26:52Speaker 15: That depends on again, on individual situations.
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: Now, you guys have a housekeeper. You complain about her
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: that she doesn't do a thorough job, but you've had
- 1:27:01Speaker 3: her for years and years and years and years.
- 1:27:03Speaker 15: Correct, And I keep telling my wife that I could
- 1:27:05Speaker 15: do a better job and I and for less money,
- 1:27:08Speaker 15: but she doesn't agree with me.
- 1:27:10Speaker 3: Okay. And that's what they do. They complain about the
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: housekeeper constantly. Oh she didn't clean that.
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: That's the first world problem.
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it totally is.
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: And if there were other ones out there, I'm sure,
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: like it's crazy. They got the world only you know,
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: the one housekeeper that it's out of a history with her.
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: They don't want to get whatever. And then I think
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: I might have wrapped it up with just general advice.
- 1:27:29Speaker 3: I think so for a couple of that who married
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: for sixty years. All right, like what we have to say, well,
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: happy sixty if any words of wisdom, any advice for
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: people that hope to someday be with their spouse for
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: sixty years.
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: Patience is a key to success. And don't talk to lawyers.
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, how did you guys make it sixty years?
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: We just lived long enough to make it last and
- 1:27:53Speaker 3: never hired a divorce lat All right, well, happy anniversary,
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: Thanks for talking to.
- 1:27:57Speaker 4: Us, Thank you.
- 1:27:59Speaker 3: Yeah, that was his answer. Just, well, we lived long
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: enough to make it sixty years. We survived, and we
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: didn't hire a divorce lawyer.
- 1:28:06Speaker 6: Smart man, wise words.
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: All right, but your parents are the best. They are
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: very very sweet, very nice, and they're way better now
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: than they were when I was a kid.
- 1:28:15Speaker 6: Yeah, because I keep thinking of actually think about this
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: a lot. When you said your dad hit you so
- 1:28:19Speaker 6: hard out your nose and you told him he said no,
- 1:28:22Speaker 6: I didn't.
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: He's back here me right across the face, and no
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: blood came flying out of my nose.
- 1:28:28Speaker 11: Oh my god, what did you just do.
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: I didn't do that.
- 1:28:34Speaker 4: With a.
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: Hint nothing sports dag with the G Jeff garci.
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: Yo, Jeff G.
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: What's happening?
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: Good morning and Happy Monday.

- 1:29:28Speaker 18: missing tooth. Hockey players they are just different man. Moving
- 1:29:32Speaker 18: on to the NBA, Lakers lost by twenty two to
- 1:29:34Speaker 18: the Celtics on the same day that pat Riley got
- 1:29:37Speaker 18: his statue outside Crypto dot Com Arena. We gotta do better, man,
- 1:29:40Speaker 18: losing to the Celtics on pat Riley's day. Luca had
- 1:29:43Speaker 18: twenty five, Lebron twenty and Reeves fifteen in the loss.
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: Everyone else just forgot how to score.
- 1:29:49Speaker 18: Clippers had a chance to win it at the Buzzer,

- 1:30:18Speaker 18: cartel boss Mncho got killed by the Mexican Army and
- 1:30:21Speaker 18: of course all the rioting and retaliation happened. Big prayers
- 1:30:25Speaker 18: and shout outs to everyone out there in Mexico right now,

- 1:30:37Speaker 2: Show do you see the Vikings wide receiver Rondell Moore
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: was found dead.
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: Yeah, police arrived at the scene said his death was
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: the result of his self inflicted gunshot wounded the head,
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: and the death.
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: Remains under investigation.
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: He had been in the NFL since twenty twenty one,
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: but it completely missed the last two seasons because of
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: the injuries that he suffered in the preseason.
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: That sucks. What's sad?
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: Like His coach Kevin O'Donnell said that More was a humble,
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: soft spoken, respectful young man. We're all heartbroken by the
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: fact that he won't continue to live out his NFL
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: dream and we won't have a chance to watch him flourish.
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: He was only twenty five years old.
- 1:31:12Speaker 11: My god.
- 1:31:13Speaker 6: Okay, so what position did you play?
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: He was a wide receiver.
- 1:31:15Speaker 6: Okay, so please obviously excuse the ignorance that you know
- 1:31:18Speaker 6: I have. Is this a position where you are hitting
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: the head a lot?
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: This CTE related like Antonio Brown was a wide receiver,
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: but he got smoked by Montes Bervt is the one
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: that scrambled that rocked Bill master Rowski, the Pittsburgh Pirates
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: legend Hall of Famer. He died on Friday. He was
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: eighty nine. He was best known for hitting the only
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: walk off home run in Game seven history. Of the
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: World series The Pirates beat the Yankees. Nice. Yeah, all right,
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: So we have a text that came in. It says,
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: I just now watched the Instagram videos and I saw

- 1:31:59Speaker 2: Oh wow, we've always sawt We've always said, yourself a favor,
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: Like if you meet us out at an event, that
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: could be one thing, you know, but like just in general,
- 1:32:09Speaker 2: if you're just a listener and you're never gonna go
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: to any of these events or see us in person,
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: just do yourself a favor.
- 1:32:13Speaker 3: Just let the let the mystery, Let the mystery be
- 1:32:16Speaker 3: your real whatever pictures in your head.
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: That's the right one. Yeah, all right, So this is
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: this is what they said. Gina, Yeah, super hot, nice Greg,
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: smoke show, Morgan really pretty. She is defining room right
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: the second. But I know she would appreciate that. Sammy, Yes,
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: girl next door, Oh for sure. Woodie Dad trying to
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: look cool, trying a lot of effort into this a little.
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: Let me let me tell you, I agonize over menace.
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: You look like you get high with your ferrets.
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: That's a good day. Yeah, yeah, I mean you love
- 1:33:07Speaker 3: getting high.
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: I love getting high and might be like a fer
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: You look like a fard are so greasy. I have
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: a friend that was heavy and fair.
- 1:33:17Speaker 7: They stink, they smell really like, Yeah, my buddy, he
- 1:33:21Speaker 7: got really into world of warcraft and ferrets, and like
- 1:33:25Speaker 7: when I visited his house when he first bought it,
- 1:33:27Speaker 7: very nice. He had a hot girlfriend, beautiful, uh saltwater
- 1:33:32Speaker 7: fish tank and then he got into world of warcraft
- 1:33:34Speaker 7: and ferrets. Girlfriend gone fish tank totally green with like, yeah,
- 1:33:39Speaker 7: it was a mess of a house, so.
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: It says, before I looked you guys up, I thought
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: Greg was black. Oh really six six one all right?
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: Back to the Texas six seven eight sea Bass. I'm
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: surprised you don't get arrested anytime you're near a park.
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: He just looked like the you know, someone on a
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: watch list. Yeah, like if you told a I to generate,
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: like you know, jump, create an image to somebody who
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: would be on.
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: A watch less lurking near a park.
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: Bort This one says a lot nicer than his rants
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: make him seem, babe, babe. And then dumbass Tyler exactly
- 1:34:11Speaker 2: what you sound like, Darth Butter. Yeah, yeah there you go,
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: all right, thank you, thank you six seven eight.
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: Nice.
- 1:34:19Speaker 2: Yeah, we always say like we look how people with
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: food poisoning feel truth general in general, like if you
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: if you averaged out, I mean they're you know, there's
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: some beauty, there's some beasts. You want to share. What
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: that photo they were talking about yesterday text, I found
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: that food member, I told you there was that photo.
- 1:34:34Speaker 2: I found like his medicine.
- 1:34:36Speaker 3: Dude.
- 1:34:36Speaker 2: I was going through some old stuff and I found
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: like some really bad old There's just a photo that
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: came up where I'm like, oh my god, yeah, show
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: no I found it. I couldn't find it and then
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: I and then I found it. I sent it to menace. Dude,
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: look look at these two monsters.
- 1:34:53Speaker 3: Yeah right, rude, I mean look, wow, God, you guys
- 1:34:57Speaker 3: look look so different.
- 1:34:59Speaker 6: Look insanely actually so dude.
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: Wow yeah aad, Oh my god.
- 1:35:03Speaker 3: What year was that?
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: Because the stuff that I was well, this that I
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: should my wife will laughed.
- 1:35:10Speaker 12: Yeah, I mean I've just never seen you like that.
- 1:35:12Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean the pause real quick. So the stuff
- 1:35:15Speaker 7: that I was looking at saying like we looked really bad.
- 1:35:17Speaker 7: That was twenty thirteen. No, sorry, that was twenty twenty three.
- 1:35:21Speaker 4: What is this?
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: What year I don't know, it doesn't have the Yeah,
- 1:35:25Speaker 2: it didn't didn't meditate. That's hilarious. Yeah, that's definitely not
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: twenty twenty three. That's wow. No, I know, yeah, it's
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: older than that.
- 1:35:36Speaker 3: D I'll let that be incentive, you know, never going back. Actually,
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: I understand what you're saying. You just don't know what
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: the hell you're talking about.
- 1:35:45Speaker 19: This.
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: Well, it's like to be a part of the show
- 1:35:50Speaker 2: A seven seven forty four. What is going to call
- 1:35:53Speaker 2: text us two two nine eighty seven into another new
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: hour of this as show today?
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: Well to show card narks coming up for you this hour.
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: It's it's one of those things. You're just supposed to
- 1:36:06Speaker 3: put the car back.
- 1:36:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not a big deal.
- 1:36:08Speaker 4: Bring either.
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: You don't have to bring it back all the way
- 1:36:10Speaker 2: to the front of the story. You just bring the
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: cart returns or throughout the park. It's not a big deal.
- 1:36:16Speaker 2: Like we used to be a proper society, you know,
- 1:36:18Speaker 2: long ago. Yeah, but now everyone's just an idiot, like
- 1:36:21Speaker 2: real life idiocracy. Like you shouldn't have to tell people
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: to put the car back to the car crawd, but
- 1:36:27Speaker 2: but we do.
- 1:36:28Speaker 6: And when you tell them, you shouldn't get anything more
- 1:36:30Speaker 6: than my bad.
- 1:36:31Speaker 2: The other thing is too And I've experienced this a
- 1:36:34Speaker 2: couple of times here recently at the building. You're at
- 1:36:37Speaker 2: the radio station. We're on the fifth floor.
- 1:36:40Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: Elevator etiquette, like you shouldn't have to tell people like
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: let people exit the elevator before.
- 1:36:47Speaker 3: Oh my god, people still don't. I have learned that.
- 1:36:50Speaker 5: Literally considered making pamphlets to just get oh, here's the
- 1:36:53Speaker 5: deal actually, you know, like the Staples loves him.
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: You know, like where you go, Like he's going prefer office,
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: thank you office.
- 1:37:01Speaker 5: Yeah, they could be he's got it would give it
- 1:37:05Speaker 5: would be it would give a diagram of how like
- 1:37:07Speaker 5: people in smaller spaces need to go out to the
- 1:37:09Speaker 5: larger space, You in the larger space coming to the
- 1:37:11Speaker 5: smaller space as because they have one way out and
- 1:37:14Speaker 5: you have plenty of room to wait for them.
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: Which is something you would have to teach to a
- 1:37:17Speaker 3: for you.
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: But there's a door right there, you can walk out,
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: Uh hold the door if someone's right behind you, like
- 1:37:25Speaker 2: you know, even though we didn't you didn't make eye contact,
- 1:37:28Speaker 2: you know someone is right behind you.
- 1:37:30Speaker 5: Let me say this, I agree, of course, but I
- 1:37:32Speaker 5: think we have two longholders. We have people who if
- 1:37:35Speaker 5: you're all the way down the hall.
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that's awkward. Now get our pretend to half.
- 1:37:41Speaker 3: An hour until you reach where I am.
- 1:37:43Speaker 2: My my rule is, if I've made eye contact, I'm
- 1:37:46Speaker 2: holding the door. But if I know someone's right behind me, yes,
- 1:37:48Speaker 2: I will hold the door without the eye contact. But
- 1:37:50Speaker 2: if I've made eye contact, you know I will. I
- 1:37:53Speaker 2: will hold especially man for man unacceptable, that's embarrassing. Some
- 1:37:58Speaker 2: other etiquette's men. Everybody should know by now cover your
- 1:38:01Speaker 2: mouth when you call for your sneeze that has gone
- 1:38:04Speaker 2: out the windows. Sure you don't cover your mouth.
- 1:38:06Speaker 6: When you're young, just because it's unsightly.
- 1:38:09Speaker 3: Like in public.
- 1:38:10Speaker 2: I will headphones always, no exceptions. Don't play music, watch videos,
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: take calls, and speaker phone.
- 1:38:16Speaker 6: The worst defenders are parents who give their kids phones
- 1:38:20Speaker 6: and iPads. What is wrong with them?
- 1:38:22Speaker 3: Also, feet don't go on seats.
- 1:38:25Speaker 9: Oh yeah I have.
- 1:38:27Speaker 12: Yeah, I have my feet on the seat right now
- 1:38:29Speaker 12: and all the time.
- 1:38:31Speaker 6: That's not how I'm sitting.
- 1:38:32Speaker 2: Are your shoes on, Yes, it's not acceptable.
- 1:38:37Speaker 12: It is the side of the foot. But my feet
- 1:38:39Speaker 12: rarely touched the ground when I'm in a chair. It's
- 1:38:41Speaker 12: so uncomfortable to sit and have my feet dangles so
- 1:38:43Speaker 12: they end up on the seat.
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: I had to tell a grown ass person, a friend
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: of mine who is over at the house, who had
- 1:38:50Speaker 2: their shoes their sneakers up on my couch that pretty
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: say it down, that's gross.
- 1:38:59Speaker 6: What is this an adults? And how did you say it?
- 1:39:02Speaker 2: I'm like, get your goddamn shoes off my couch?
- 1:39:05Speaker 3: Is somebody we know? Yes?
- 1:39:07Speaker 2: No, they were? They raise it up, barn?
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: Do they have no parents? Are legal? Are you writing
- 1:39:14Speaker 3: it down?
- 1:39:16Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:39:18Speaker 3: That makes sense? Surprised, that makes sense. Absolutely, the world
- 1:39:29Speaker 3: revolves around me.
- 1:39:30Speaker 2: You shouldn't have to tell people. But I guess we
- 1:39:32Speaker 2: do return borrowed stuff in the same condition or better.
- 1:39:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I've done that so many times. I have loan
- 1:39:39Speaker 3: stuff and they return it broken. And the response is.
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: But even like, there used to be a rule at
- 1:39:43Speaker 2: the radio station, like when you were done with your shift,
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: you straighten the studio, you put it, you push the
- 1:39:49Speaker 2: chair in pig, you put the pens, you put the
- 1:39:51Speaker 2: pens back in the cup or whatever, and there'll be like,
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: but inevitably the next day that I would come in
- 1:39:57Speaker 2: like did you use a different pen for every time
- 1:39:59Speaker 2: you needed a pen right everywhere.
- 1:40:01Speaker 3: I would put the mics at right angles and everywhere
- 1:40:04Speaker 3: in the.
- 1:40:05Speaker 2: Chairs, like in like public and just communal areas, to
- 1:40:10Speaker 2: clean up at yourself, be on time or communicate if
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: you're not going to be on time, let him know.
- 1:40:14Speaker 2: Oh hey, I'm running a little bit late. Please, thank you,
- 1:40:17Speaker 2: excuse me, especially at stores. Why am I the one
- 1:40:20Speaker 2: not apologize? Why am I the one going oh, thanks,
- 1:40:22Speaker 2: appreciate it.
- 1:40:23Speaker 3: Yeah, have a good one, They say nothing. Yeah, just
- 1:40:25Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:40:26Speaker 2: Eat with your mouth closed?
- 1:40:28Speaker 3: Menace?
- 1:40:28Speaker 2: What eat with your mouth closed? This one's also menace?
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: How do you put stuff in my mouth? Thank you?
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: Not stopping suddenly while walking in a crowd of people.
- 1:40:40Speaker 3: I hate that. No spatial awareness at all.
- 1:40:42Speaker 2: Or you just in just in general, like menace isn't
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: like with the personal space. But menace will do like
- 1:40:46Speaker 2: he'll stop in the middle of a doorway. Oh yeah,
- 1:40:49Speaker 2: because he's on the phone.
- 1:40:50Speaker 4: And the.
- 1:40:52Speaker 2: But the hyperbolic, the bigger, the bigger, the bigger problem
- 1:40:56Speaker 2: is the personal space.
- 1:40:57Speaker 3: Uh you know, just in general.
- 1:40:59Speaker 2: You remember the sign for old episode the close talker
- 1:41:01Speaker 2: ye reinhold, Yeah, like you know, judge, you don't need
- 1:41:05Speaker 2: to be even within an arms reach to have a
- 1:41:07Speaker 2: conversation unless it's a secret.
- 1:41:10Speaker 7: And I'm sorry if you're this listener and you know
- 1:41:13Speaker 7: who you are. But there's one listener that goes to
- 1:41:15Speaker 7: all of our events way close talker man, and he's
- 1:41:20Speaker 7: like been at events where he says like, oh, yeah,
- 1:41:22Speaker 7: I'm not feeling so well and he leans in like
- 1:41:24Speaker 7: I'll step back, he leans in forward faces.
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: Are we going to kiss?
- 1:41:32Speaker 11: Just get it over?
- 1:41:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:41:33Speaker 2: I shouldn't have to be told no unannounced visits.
- 1:41:40Speaker 12: I'm okay with popping. I cannot like pleasant surprise.
- 1:41:47Speaker 3: I would have thought that stopped in the eighties. Yeah.
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: Now, also someone I don't care about this one, but
- 1:41:53Speaker 2: I understand it texting before calling unless it's an emergency.
- 1:41:57Speaker 3: They're saying you should not do that.
- 1:42:00Speaker 2: You should text before you call. That's just like business,
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: and you're gonna leave a message, yeah something.
- 1:42:06Speaker 9: If you're gonna call anyways, what's the point.
- 1:42:08Speaker 2: Well, typically, if I need to talk to somebody, I'll
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: just text call me. Yeah, because I figured people are
- 1:42:14Speaker 2: in the middle of something. I don't expect everybody I'm
- 1:42:16Speaker 2: just gonna call. You know, you're in the middle of something.
- 1:42:18Speaker 2: Every once in a while. Yeah, but like just in general,
- 1:42:21Speaker 2: if it's nothing pressing or whatever. Yeah, it's means when
- 1:42:24Speaker 2: you have a moment, when you have a minute, call me,
- 1:42:26Speaker 2: Yeah you should that though, when you have a moment,
- 1:42:29Speaker 2: call me, Yeah, I mean it's it's thank you if
- 1:42:35Speaker 2: it was somebody that I don't deal with all the time.
- 1:42:37Speaker 2: But like you know, if but I know, do I
- 1:42:40Speaker 2: just say that to my wife? Like when you have
- 1:42:42Speaker 2: a moment, call me? How about just like call me?
- 1:42:45Speaker 9: I would people not the.
- 1:42:48Speaker 3: Other way around. But see, I don't.
- 1:42:50Speaker 2: I don't think. I guess that's that's a difference, like
- 1:42:52Speaker 2: it lacks context or whatever like that for you up whatody?
- 1:43:00Speaker 2: And I argue that the thumbs up is aggressive.
- 1:43:04Speaker 9: Yeah, the thumbs up aggressive totally.
- 1:43:07Speaker 2: That just means cool, Like all right, cool. Now, doesn't
- 1:43:10Speaker 2: call me prayer hands, Yeah, call me with.
- 1:43:13Speaker 3: A red heart.
- 1:43:16Speaker 2: Just return the cards to the corral and we wouldn't
- 1:43:19Speaker 2: need cardnarks follow. I do I do enjoy the segment,
- 1:43:22Speaker 2: of course, I do enjoy the videos. More explosive, the
- 1:43:25Speaker 2: better it's interesting to listen to people try to lie
- 1:43:29Speaker 2: to your face.
- 1:43:31Speaker 3: On the explosive scale, this round of card Narks today.
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: Well, it's it's explosively delicious, all new, all ex explosively delicious,
- 1:43:39Speaker 2: never heard before. All right, that's Cartnark's coming up next
- 1:43:42Speaker 2: eight seven, seven forty four. What can send us your text?
- 1:43:45Speaker 2: Check in over to two to nine eighty seven more?
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: What you show next?
- 1:43:48Speaker 3: Hang on.
- 1:43:55Speaker 1: Show the show.
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: Well, it's just the common courtesy. It's not too much
- 1:44:04Speaker 3: to ask. And a lot of these people that we
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: meet in this segment would rather sit there for three
- 1:44:11Speaker 3: quarters of their day, yeah, arguing over it, rather than
- 1:44:14Speaker 3: just doing the right thing. In return of those cards
- 1:44:16Speaker 3: his time for what do you show? Card Narks, cardin Ards, What.
- 1:44:19Speaker 4: You're gonna do?
- 1:44:20Speaker 3: What you're gonna do when they not on you?
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: Cardinars, card Arks, What.
- 1:44:24Speaker 4: You're gonna do?
- 1:44:25Speaker 3: What you're gonna do when they knock on you?
- 1:44:29Speaker 1: Narks is filmed alongside the men and women of card Arks.
- 1:44:32Speaker 3: List of discretion is advised.
- 1:44:34Speaker 2: All right, So Agent Sebastian, Yeah boy, he goes around
- 1:44:38Speaker 2: to the parking lots all over this world. He's on
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: international yep, yeah, it's not just domestic, and he just
- 1:44:45Speaker 2: tries to get people to do the right thing and
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: they'll argue with them sometimes they try to swing or
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: they pull, you know, something of weapons agents.
- 1:44:52Speaker 3: Yeah, but he is ready.
- 1:44:54Speaker 2: He's got his magnets, he's got his bulletproof vest, his
- 1:44:57Speaker 2: aviator shades, and what is got for us this time?
- 1:45:01Speaker 2: In this round of what we show cartnark guys, we
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: had some brand new excuses.
- 1:45:04Speaker 11: Oh so I want you.
- 1:45:06Speaker 5: I approached this lady, and I wasn't quite sure about
- 1:45:09Speaker 5: this lady. Because what I'll do is I'll be walking around.
- 1:45:11Speaker 5: I'll kind of see people as are leaving the store,
- 1:45:13Speaker 5: and I'll say, oh, there's one person going that way.
- 1:45:14Speaker 5: Maybe I'm following someone else go another way.
- 1:45:16Speaker 2: At a distance.
- 1:45:17Speaker 5: Not I'm not creeping, just observing them from a distance.
- 1:45:20Speaker 5: So I see this one lady leave and then I
- 1:45:22Speaker 5: see her, not she goes behind her car or I
- 1:45:24Speaker 5: can't see her, and then she gets in her car,
- 1:45:26Speaker 5: So like, oh, she must have left her car, because
- 1:45:27Speaker 5: otherwise I would have seen her push it out. So
- 1:45:29Speaker 5: notice how I approach her just with that question. Notice
- 1:45:32Speaker 5: that's all I'm I'm walking up. I'm not I'm not
- 1:45:34Speaker 5: pounding on her vehicle. I'm not screaming at her curiosity,
- 1:45:38Speaker 5: just hey, is this your car? Let's let's follow that
- 1:45:40Speaker 5: did this.
- 1:45:42Speaker 11: It's right, So you left the car here, did you?
- 1:45:45Speaker 12: So you're coming to news coming there, I'm leaving a car.
- 1:45:48Speaker 11: I was just saying, did you see who did it?
- 1:45:49Speaker 7: No?
- 1:45:50Speaker 3: Was it you?
- 1:45:51Speaker 11: And what is it? I ages abashed with the cart narcs.
- 1:45:54Speaker 11: Oh I think it was you. Actually no, it wasn't me. Okay, good,
- 1:45:57Speaker 11: good good.
- 1:45:58Speaker 3: If you arrassed me, it's going to be a serious.
- 1:46:03Speaker 1: I think.
- 1:46:03Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:46:04Speaker 3: Yeah, very point on your legs.
- 1:46:08Speaker 11: You approached me.
- 1:46:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you know how people use literally incorrect. Yeah, okay,
- 1:46:15Speaker 2: I've noticed. Not everything is crazy, true people say, dude
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: that that's crazy, and not everything is harassed.
- 1:46:23Speaker 6: Not everyone is getting harassed, exactly exactly, there's that I
- 1:46:27Speaker 6: was because I get that's probably the number one complain
- 1:46:29Speaker 6: I get like about the illegality of card arcs, which
- 1:46:31Speaker 6: is legal?
- 1:46:32Speaker 3: Uh?
- 1:46:32Speaker 15: Is it? Oh?
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: You're harassing?
- 1:46:33Speaker 4: No?
- 1:46:33Speaker 5: Google take them a second. Google what people who are
- 1:46:36Speaker 5: arrested for harassment are It is stalking. It is repeated,
- 1:46:40Speaker 5: you know, threats, violence, things of that nature. So okay,
- 1:46:43Speaker 5: already again, she's already thrown accusations at me, and you
- 1:46:47Speaker 5: heard me. I didn't cut anything out there. I'm like, hey,
- 1:46:49Speaker 5: it's just your cart, so that that that raises my cart?
- 1:46:52Speaker 5: Nark sense is that, oh this is her card. Things
- 1:46:54Speaker 5: are going on, but she maybe maybe she won't be
- 1:46:57Speaker 5: so defensive.
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: We'll find out if.
- 1:46:58Speaker 11: It wasn't you.
- 1:46:59Speaker 19: I'm apologized, or make that yes, So thank you for
- 1:47:01Speaker 19: clarifying the situation, if in need.
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: That's true.
- 1:47:04Speaker 11: You're very angry for some reason though, which.
- 1:47:05Speaker 6: I'm angry because I didn't know why you were approaching me.
- 1:47:07Speaker 11: Oh, I asked you about who? I asked you.
- 1:47:10Speaker 12: You point at me and pointed at the car.
- 1:47:11Speaker 11: I asked her, Hey, is this yours? What's wrong with
- 1:47:13Speaker 11: the question? You're somebody approaching me?
- 1:47:16Speaker 3: Woman?
- 1:47:18Speaker 11: Is why I was approaching you.
- 1:47:20Speaker 12: You approached me.
- 1:47:21Speaker 11: I thought. I didn't knock, I didn't bang on the window.
- 1:47:23Speaker 11: I think you would have done this. I'm giving you
- 1:47:24Speaker 11: a magnet. Actually, I think.
- 1:47:26Speaker 3: Anything anything on that car, I don't know.
- 1:47:30Speaker 2: She approached me as a as a woman. Again, but
- 1:47:34Speaker 2: my window was up so I couldn't hear you, which
- 1:47:35Speaker 2: is why. And then you gestured at the cart. Yeah,
- 1:47:37Speaker 2: I gestured at the cart because your window was up
- 1:47:40Speaker 2: and I was trying to gesture as to what, like
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: I'm doing everything she wants me to do.
- 1:47:44Speaker 6: She's responding to you like you used a battering ram, right,
- 1:47:47Speaker 6: And I told you to her, I asked you a
- 1:47:50Speaker 6: calm question and gestured in a calm manner.
- 1:47:52Speaker 5: I didn't screamed and bang, that's not good enough for her.
- 1:47:56Speaker 5: So I pull out the magnet and she I kind
- 1:47:57Speaker 5: of like leave it over the corner of her car
- 1:47:59Speaker 5: and it I love that. Well, here's the thing, because
- 1:48:02Speaker 5: she she did do a little pulloid move as you
- 1:48:04Speaker 5: heard there. It did drop on the ground.
- 1:48:07Speaker 3: Stick to the car as it went.
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: Also, is that kind of like you don't want to
- 1:48:10Speaker 2: flag to touch the ground?
- 1:48:15Speaker 4: Yeah? You?
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: Was there any kind of special you know, procedure for
- 1:48:19Speaker 2: so like some like a kid touching the alp.
- 1:48:22Speaker 3: Or like bullfighting with the cave and then the car
- 1:48:25Speaker 3: just goes through.
- 1:48:25Speaker 5: Right, So so okay, so so far I've not done
- 1:48:28Speaker 5: anything to her. But and she and she's in her
- 1:48:30Speaker 5: car and driving, so she should leave or she could
- 1:48:33Speaker 5: get out to argue some more.
- 1:48:34Speaker 2: Let's see what happens.
- 1:48:35Speaker 3: Are you serious?
- 1:48:36Speaker 11: Well, man, I'm serious about the cars?
- 1:48:38Speaker 3: You could know? Know what do you know?
- 1:48:43Speaker 9: Like I have a medical condition.
- 1:48:46Speaker 3: You just triggered me.
- 1:48:49Speaker 2: Anxiety anxiety if a triggered, I would not if I
- 1:48:55Speaker 2: were writing this as a sketch, I would not do
- 1:48:57Speaker 2: that because it's too obvious.
- 1:48:59Speaker 9: And too cliche.
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: And by the way, guess what that is, menace? That's
- 1:49:03Speaker 2: therapy talking Spider Man shooting, that's therapy.
- 1:49:11Speaker 6: That's Instagram therapy.
- 1:49:13Speaker 2: But that's what.
- 1:49:14Speaker 5: But that's what we've been and I've been saying, is
- 1:49:17Speaker 5: everywhere therapy has become such the default that it has
- 1:49:20Speaker 5: spilled out into society and infected every that sucks. So
- 1:49:24Speaker 5: she has anxiety, and I triggered her by again so far,
- 1:49:28Speaker 5: asking a polite question and motioning at her car with
- 1:49:30Speaker 5: a magnet.
- 1:49:32Speaker 3: Specify that's true.
- 1:49:34Speaker 2: She is as a woman.
- 1:49:35Speaker 5: Now at this point, a guy has stopped and I'm
- 1:49:37Speaker 5: watching this dude like videotape the whole thing, like, oh,
- 1:49:39Speaker 5: as a fan. So I got to go talk to
- 1:49:40Speaker 5: the fan, which I love, like a captain love. I
- 1:49:44Speaker 5: love what this happens because it pisses off the perpetrator
- 1:49:46Speaker 5: so much that I have to support. So a quick
- 1:49:48Speaker 5: detour with the fan.
- 1:49:49Speaker 11: Let me talk to this guy real quick. Agent, Yes, sir,
- 1:49:52Speaker 11: what's your name? Edgar Man? Nice to meet you. She
- 1:49:56Speaker 11: says she has anxiety, so she can't take her card back.
- 1:50:00Speaker 11: Thanks for stopping. Appreciate another one for my buddy. Yes, absolutely,
- 1:50:03Speaker 11: I do.
- 1:50:03Speaker 2: Absolutely give him sticks. She's probably seething. Well, she is seething,
- 1:50:09Speaker 2: and she's on the phone.
- 1:50:10Speaker 3: With the cops.
- 1:50:11Speaker 9: I was wondering why she was waiting around for you,
- 1:50:13Speaker 9: So she.
- 1:50:13Speaker 3: Was waiting while you talk to Edward.
- 1:50:15Speaker 5: Right, So not only did she stop and get out
- 1:50:17Speaker 5: when the magnet hit the ground and then yell at
- 1:50:19Speaker 5: me more about her trigger to anxiety?
- 1:50:20Speaker 2: Was she calling because you littered?
- 1:50:22Speaker 5: No, no, she's she's calling again because harassment, which is
- 1:50:26Speaker 5: not true. So here she is on the phone and
- 1:50:28Speaker 5: I'm over I'm overhearing her, so I'm trying to correct
- 1:50:30Speaker 5: her as she's spewing her lies.
- 1:50:33Speaker 11: It's just a fan. I had to talk to you
- 1:50:34Speaker 11: real quick.
- 1:50:34Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 1:50:35Speaker 11: I'll just was just explaining, No, it's not funny. If
- 1:50:38Speaker 11: you're so anxious, why are you sticking around? That's my question.
- 1:50:41Speaker 12: You doing what you just did can cause people to
- 1:50:44Speaker 12: have a different kind of reaction.
- 1:50:46Speaker 19: Well, my raction is to tell the truth. Is a
- 1:50:49Speaker 19: man asked her to put her card back. Recorded me
- 1:50:53Speaker 19: very calm, very polite, not narks, which.
- 1:50:58Speaker 2: She shouldn't a person get off the permission to.
- 1:51:00Speaker 11: No, we're in public, man, that's that's the first amendment.
- 1:51:04Speaker 2: So she's like, you just a cart knocks. He's recording me,
- 1:51:07Speaker 2: which I hit.
- 1:51:08Speaker 5: I'm still surprised in this day and age that we
- 1:51:10Speaker 5: get the you can't record me in public.
- 1:51:12Speaker 6: If I was the cop dispatcher, I'd be like, get
- 1:51:15Speaker 6: off of my phone.
- 1:51:16Speaker 2: There's actual emergency.
- 1:51:17Speaker 5: They should be doing that, because she not only not
- 1:51:20Speaker 5: only she she's spinning her lies, but she gets even
- 1:51:22Speaker 5: worse here.
- 1:51:22Speaker 11: He wants the way he throws something at my car.
- 1:51:25Speaker 19: I slightly placed a magnet somewhere New yorkr didn't even
- 1:51:27Speaker 19: go on your car, quite frankly.
- 1:51:28Speaker 11: Something that's not a crue. That's a lie. I showed
- 1:51:31Speaker 11: her to it, and I know it's a magnet.
- 1:51:33Speaker 6: You threw something at me?
- 1:51:34Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:51:34Speaker 13: No?
- 1:51:34Speaker 9: No, no, I did not actually, because I tell him
- 1:51:36Speaker 9: I'm having an anxiety attack.
- 1:51:38Speaker 11: And her idea is to stick around. If this is
- 1:51:39Speaker 11: so anxiety provoking, why are you staying around?
- 1:51:42Speaker 2: Man?
- 1:51:42Speaker 9: Why would I drive with anxiety.
- 1:51:45Speaker 11: If someone put your car? Oh, stop using that word.
- 1:51:51Speaker 2: She's gotta go, she asked, her like maybe she's in
- 1:51:54Speaker 2: need of some D or something.
- 1:51:55Speaker 3: You know what menace sounds like. By the way, women
- 1:51:59Speaker 3: love it when you down, calming down, you have low D.
- 1:52:08Speaker 5: What I need is I need because I I got
- 1:52:09Speaker 5: to be the face of the organization, but I need
- 1:52:11Speaker 5: like a hype man. Yeah, like if Edgar's stuck around.
- 1:52:14Speaker 2: Your bitch, yeah.
- 1:52:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:52:17Speaker 2: So what ended up happening the cops, So.
- 1:52:20Speaker 5: Possibly because at some point the cop the dispatcher said
- 1:52:24Speaker 5: kind of like put what I was saying together and said, oh, hey,
- 1:52:27Speaker 5: if you're really like afraid and anxious, stay in your car, dumbass.
- 1:52:30Speaker 2: So she got back in the car and she's and
- 1:52:32Speaker 2: I'm just standing around.
- 1:52:33Speaker 5: Nothing's happening. So I waited, but nothing happened. And again
- 1:52:36Speaker 5: this is what we call a low priority, especially in
- 1:52:38Speaker 5: a big city, a low priority call.
- 1:52:40Speaker 2: So as a cartnark, a low priority call. As a
- 1:52:42Speaker 2: police officer, the police, that was like a you noted
- 1:52:47Speaker 2: as a as a cart nark official policy. So that
- 1:52:52Speaker 2: was that was a first you triggered my anxiety. I
- 1:52:56Speaker 2: read I met another lady in the same parking lot.
- 1:52:58Speaker 2: He showed card narks agents of I'm to show you
- 1:53:00Speaker 2: just a still shot. Pay attention to this lady's oh
- 1:53:03Speaker 2: my god, outfit? What color would you say?
- 1:53:05Speaker 3: Her outfit is green? Green?
- 1:53:07Speaker 2: And you could say, I haven't touched he.
- 1:53:11Speaker 11: Is it?
- 1:53:11Speaker 3: Maybe? Is it blue?
- 1:53:12Speaker 2: She has the entry level bag, it's coach bag to
- 1:53:21Speaker 2: be forced perspective or whatever. But like she's standing in
- 1:53:24Speaker 2: front of her her car, but it looks like she's
- 1:53:26Speaker 2: no taller than the side mirror. Yes, it's a big suv.
- 1:53:30Speaker 2: You might notice. You might know she has a handicap
- 1:53:32Speaker 2: placard in that suv. And what color is that placard?
- 1:53:35Speaker 2: Would you say?
- 1:53:35Speaker 4: Blue?
- 1:53:36Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:53:36Speaker 3: Good?
- 1:53:36Speaker 5: So I see her leave her card out in the
- 1:53:38Speaker 5: middle of the walkway and I approach her and the
- 1:53:41Speaker 5: same sort of thing as I kind of like, let
- 1:53:42Speaker 5: them talk their way in or out of the process,
- 1:53:45Speaker 5: and let's see how she responds.
- 1:53:48Speaker 11: Somebody left their car here in the low in the walkway. Okay,
- 1:53:52Speaker 11: I don't know who that was, do you?
- 1:53:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:53:54Speaker 11: I thought it was some lady. You looked like to
- 1:53:56Speaker 11: me like I had a green sweatshirt on. I don't blue.
- 1:54:00Speaker 2: A liar man, that ain't hood responsible? What are you
- 1:54:03Speaker 2: talking about? You don't see nothing?
- 1:54:06Speaker 6: Yeah, I got blue on it's literally the greenest thing
- 1:54:09Speaker 6: I've ever seen, primary green.
- 1:54:12Speaker 2: It's like that is these are my pants?
- 1:54:15Speaker 5: These you know, that's just that's denying shorts, denying reality.
- 1:54:19Speaker 2: They're all a coach back except your game, all right,
- 1:54:22Speaker 2: So I I then again, I've never heard that one.
- 1:54:26Speaker 2: So I tried to like walk her through that one.
- 1:54:28Speaker 2: Got all blue?
- 1:54:29Speaker 11: Am I color blind?
- 1:54:30Speaker 6: On my pain?
- 1:54:34Speaker 11: Well there's a lot of baskets in the car retord.
- 1:54:40Speaker 11: Oh that's not nice.
- 1:54:41Speaker 2: Well, I'm not even arguing with you, but it's crazy.
- 1:54:43Speaker 3: There's a lot of litter just add to it.
- 1:54:44Speaker 5: By the way she moved the everyone she used the
- 1:54:47Speaker 5: everyone else is doing an excuse, but I already cleaned
- 1:54:49Speaker 5: that area up. So no, I put it again all
- 1:54:51Speaker 5: over there where they belong in the car.
- 1:54:53Speaker 6: And then she goes full ad hominem, right yes.
- 1:54:55Speaker 2: And then she can.
- 1:54:59Speaker 3: Yeah, what does that mean?
- 1:55:00Speaker 2: I don't know what does that mean?
- 1:55:02Speaker 6: Like you attack the person instead of the situation, Like, well,
- 1:55:04Speaker 6: you're crazy, so I don't even know you use it
- 1:55:08Speaker 6: in context again, like well, what you just say at
- 1:55:12Speaker 6: you want to use the word or the at hominem?
- 1:55:15Speaker 2: Like so, how would I throw that into a sentence before,
- 1:55:17Speaker 2: but I never knew what it means.
- 1:55:18Speaker 6: So like if you say to me like put your
- 1:55:21Speaker 6: car back, and I'm like, well, you're stupid. Oh now
- 1:55:23Speaker 6: you're going at hominem. Now you're attacking me and ste
- 1:55:25Speaker 6: I'm talking about.
- 1:55:25Speaker 2: The car right right, would be like if Mena says, hey,
- 1:55:27Speaker 2: you gotta you know you I'm rubber, you're glue.
- 1:55:34Speaker 5: Right, you know, she's clearly lying to an officer at
- 1:55:38Speaker 5: the carts.
- 1:55:39Speaker 2: So we go ahead and with a magnet application.
- 1:55:41Speaker 11: That's our man at the rees, lazy bones on board.
- 1:55:44Speaker 3: You're gonna put your you gonna put on my car.
- 1:55:47Speaker 11: Yeah, it's like a mark of shame.
- 1:55:49Speaker 19: It's also got our phone numbers, do on a call
- 1:55:51Speaker 19: so we can talk you through proper cart return etiquettes.
- 1:55:54Speaker 11: Drop some color identifications. I'm pretty sure that's green.
- 1:55:57Speaker 3: Well, what it's blue?
- 1:55:58Speaker 11: Like that handiccyt flacker is blue? Satch of blue.
- 1:56:02Speaker 3: At least she's being calm.
- 1:56:04Speaker 2: I mean that I didn't trigger her anxiety.
- 1:56:06Speaker 3: Yeah, to the point that she.
- 1:56:07Speaker 2: Called what color is? What number is blue?
- 1:56:10Speaker 6: Poor?
- 1:56:10Speaker 2: God, damn it? What number is green? Did you write
- 1:56:15Speaker 2: it down?
- 1:56:16Speaker 13: No?
- 1:56:16Speaker 4: You did?
- 1:56:17Speaker 2: You kept the list because she is so Yeah, to
- 1:56:21Speaker 2: just randomly test her color is yellow or what number
- 1:56:24Speaker 2: is yellow to what's orange seven? She's right. I think
- 1:56:31Speaker 2: she just memorized this is like her party trick.
- 1:56:33Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not a trick. It's not anything.
- 1:56:35Speaker 12: You're the one who asked her to write it down,
- 1:56:37Speaker 12: you know.
- 1:56:38Speaker 2: For if anybody ever decided to ask her later she
- 1:56:41Speaker 2: just had am all memory, I would Yeah, that's cool. Well,
- 1:56:43Speaker 2: there there's a.
- 1:56:44Speaker 3: Lot of stuff you do that's not cool.
- 1:56:45Speaker 2: Yeah, these two ladies, what.
- 1:56:51Speaker 5: Number so oh for two on our cart returns here?
- 1:56:53Speaker 5: But I do have something to sweeten the pot here. Okay,
- 1:56:55Speaker 5: perhaps you're aware that celebrities have podcasts these days.
- 1:56:58Speaker 3: I heard I heard on the Heart Radio.
- 1:57:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm sure you could find the Office Ladies Podcasts,
- 1:57:04Speaker 5: which features Pam and Angela.
- 1:57:06Speaker 11: From the Office.
- 1:57:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a big podcast. It has a big old podcast.
- 1:57:10Speaker 5: And they had they do like an open you know,
- 1:57:12Speaker 5: ask us anything sort of deal, and somebody asking about
- 1:57:14Speaker 5: cart returns and the principle behind that, and this is
- 1:57:17Speaker 5: their and their producer's response.
- 1:57:19Speaker 2: I always return it.
- 1:57:20Speaker 11: I returned my shopping cart same.
- 1:57:23Speaker 13: Are either of you familiar with the Instagram account cart
- 1:57:25Speaker 13: narks is one point two million followers. It's a guy
- 1:57:31Speaker 13: who's a fictional parking lot enforcement. He doesn't work for
- 1:57:34Speaker 13: the company.
- 1:57:35Speaker 11: Is he the Dwight shrew?
- 1:57:36Speaker 3: Yes, people who shares magnets. Yeah, that's about right.
- 1:57:42Speaker 6: Yeah, accurate, Thanks Angela.
- 1:57:44Speaker 3: That's cool. Yeah, I mean it's about right.
- 1:57:47Speaker 5: It would be if it were if if cart narks
- 1:57:49Speaker 5: were in the office universe, Dwight would be the card dark.
- 1:57:52Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure, Well.
- 1:57:53Speaker 15: There is.
- 1:57:59Speaker 2: Everybody, Please return your cart.
- 1:58:05Speaker 11: Do you apologize for making that? Yes, so thank you
- 1:58:08Speaker 11: for clarify the situation. If indeed that's true. You're very
- 1:58:11Speaker 11: angry for some reason though, which.
- 1:58:12Speaker 6: I'm angry because I didn't know why you were approaching me.
- 1:58:15Speaker 11: Oh, I asked you. Who I asked you?
- 1:58:17Speaker 9: You pointed at me and pointing at the car.
- 1:58:19Speaker 11: I asked her, Hey is this yours? Let me what's
- 1:58:20Speaker 11: wrong with a question?
- 1:58:21Speaker 2: You're somebody approaching me?
- 1:58:24Speaker 11: The one the first things I said to you was
- 1:58:25Speaker 11: why I was approaching you.
- 1:58:27Speaker 12: You approached me that I.
- 1:58:28Speaker 11: Didn't knock, I didn't back on the window. I think
- 1:58:30Speaker 11: you would have done this. I'm giving you a magnet.
- 1:58:32Speaker 11: Actually give me anything.
- 1:58:34Speaker 2: Do you not want anything on that car?
- 1:58:37Speaker 15: Yeah?
- 1:58:38Speaker 11: This show. Fuck, it's like just these fat people standing.
- 1:58:42Speaker 11: Who are you fark knockers?
- 1:58:44Speaker 16: This is a woody show.
- 1:58:48Speaker 4: Be the.
- 1:58:50Speaker 2: I still got a woody welcome back and budding. Yeah
- 1:58:57Speaker 2: you like card nurses more that came from You can
- 1:58:59Speaker 2: find it on Instagram at cart and arcs.
- 1:59:02Speaker 20: Can you find them on TikTok. We are working on
- 1:59:08Speaker 20: a new account, a new accounts considering like what you
- 1:59:13Speaker 20: do see on TikTok.
- 1:59:14Speaker 5: The fact that I've got numerous emails from someone who
- 1:59:18Speaker 5: ran a TikTok fan account quote unquote where they were
- 1:59:21Speaker 5: just trying to make money off they were reposting stuff
- 1:59:24Speaker 5: and their face in the corner, and they they got
- 1:59:27Speaker 5: they got banned for copyright infringement. They're now emailing me
- 1:59:31Speaker 5: asking me to write TikTok on their behalf, saying that
- 1:59:34Speaker 5: they should be back on he should.
- 1:59:36Speaker 6: Be allowed to continue stealing from me.
- 1:59:37Speaker 2: By the way, their TikTok user name was cart Nark's official.
- 1:59:43Speaker 2: They're clearly not wired. What did you say to them?
- 1:59:48Speaker 2: Absolute nothing at all.
- 1:59:49Speaker 7: We're talking Okay, I mean, I think their username sucks,
- 1:59:52Speaker 7: but I don't think you should like go after them
- 1:59:54Speaker 7: for a copyright.
- 1:59:55Speaker 3: Here's what I do.
- 1:59:56Speaker 2: Here. Here's a question, what's what's the etiquette? Because I
- 1:59:59Speaker 2: see it a lot where the top half of the
- 2:00:02Speaker 2: screen is somebody just kind of like looking at the
- 2:00:04Speaker 2: camera while the original video, which is actually good.
- 2:00:09Speaker 6: They're just stealing contest reaction.
- 2:00:11Speaker 2: But what's not react? They're just react, they're just taking content.
- 2:00:15Speaker 6: Yeah, they're just stealing content because now it's on their account,
- 2:00:19Speaker 6: they get the credit.
- 2:00:20Speaker 5: So what's the etiquette there? The law, and the law
- 2:00:23Speaker 5: is that you're for fair uses, which is what they'll claim.
- 2:00:26Speaker 5: I'm using this because I'm adding commentary and otherwise transforming it.
- 2:00:31Speaker 5: They have to be a transformative work that is not
- 2:00:34Speaker 5: a substitution for the original. But in the case like this,
- 2:00:39Speaker 5: you clearly have seen the whole video. They haven't added
- 2:00:42Speaker 5: any meaningful commentary or transformation, so it is a direct
- 2:00:45Speaker 5: substitution for the video.
- 2:00:46Speaker 2: Therefore, I see it a lot. They're just not point
- 2:00:50Speaker 2: to it.
- 2:00:50Speaker 7: Yeah, I think it's up to the person that created
- 2:00:52Speaker 7: the original content how they feel about it. Now, I'm
- 2:00:55Speaker 7: saying that the way that you think about it, SeaBASS,
- 2:00:58Speaker 7: is kind of old. Thinking of the copy right now,
- 2:01:00Speaker 7: I know you're angry because you don't have your official account.
- 2:01:03Speaker 7: But I think no, if you were, though I would
- 2:01:07Speaker 7: I would not be mad if this person was re
- 2:01:10Speaker 7: posting her stuff because it just gets more awareness of
- 2:01:14Speaker 7: the break That's where.
- 2:01:16Speaker 2: It goes back to the clipping I saw that we've
- 2:01:18Speaker 2: talked about.
- 2:01:18Speaker 3: I saw a video.
- 2:01:19Speaker 2: It was Charlottage and the Breakfast Club, right, and it
- 2:01:23Speaker 2: was I mean, it was the same exact video like
- 2:01:25Speaker 2: they were. Looks like like black and yellow paper has
- 2:01:28Speaker 2: kind of been torn in the videos in the middle
- 2:01:30Speaker 2: of it and now instead of like the breakfast club
- 2:01:33Speaker 2: logo in the center of the middle of the screen
- 2:01:35Speaker 2: there it was like financial blah blah blah blah whatever.
- 2:01:39Speaker 2: This whoever was reposted it was on their account. I
- 2:01:41Speaker 2: understand it said the Breakfast Club there, but there was
- 2:01:44Speaker 2: no like face in the corner, like you know, reacting
- 2:01:46Speaker 2: or anything.
- 2:01:47Speaker 7: They just look at the oldbie would be angry because like,
- 2:01:51Speaker 7: oh man, somebody took my content and now they got
- 2:01:53Speaker 7: four million views off it. But the new way of
- 2:01:56Speaker 7: thinking of it is just it just increases awareness of you,
- 2:02:01Speaker 7: even though it's somebody's taking.
- 2:02:02Speaker 5: But what's that worth unless you if if your only
- 2:02:05Speaker 5: value is let's say you have a YouTube channel and
- 2:02:07Speaker 5: someone steals yourself and puts it on TikTok. That doesn't
- 2:02:10Speaker 5: make them go to your YouTube channel.
- 2:02:11Speaker 2: That that means good.
- 2:02:13Speaker 6: That's like and all the like audition stuff. It used
- 2:02:17Speaker 6: to say, no payment, just meals and credit.
- 2:02:19Speaker 2: If I saw, let's say, we'll use this breakfast club
- 2:02:22Speaker 2: thing as an example. If I saw that, I go
- 2:02:24Speaker 2: what it says. I see it's breakfast club. It says
- 2:02:26Speaker 2: breakfast club, and I thought it was entertaining and I
- 2:02:29Speaker 2: was interested in I would seek out more breakfast club stuff.
- 2:02:32Speaker 7: And then I would find an initial account. Unfortunately, you
- 2:02:35Speaker 7: do not have one. So that's why I think you're.
- 2:02:36Speaker 3: About that being said.
- 2:02:38Speaker 2: Go to TikTok at the cart narks and see what
- 2:02:40Speaker 2: you see there. You might like it. Okay, the partners,
- 2:02:43Speaker 2: all right, check it out. Hey, Greg has something to
- 2:02:47Speaker 2: admit to Sea Bass.
- 2:02:49Speaker 3: And it's not I know you. It's not giving credit.
- 2:02:52Speaker 3: That's not credit, but you know credit because.
- 2:02:54Speaker 2: I can tell you how this is going to go. Thing, No,
- 2:02:55Speaker 2: but I can tell you how it's going to go.
- 2:02:57Speaker 2: It's yeah, I'm ready.
- 2:02:59Speaker 3: I'm with a couple of friends and they had to
- 2:03:01Speaker 3: head off to the airport. They arranged a ride through
- 2:03:05Speaker 3: somebody they know. So this was not a car service.
- 2:03:07Speaker 3: It was just like a family friend. He comes to
- 2:03:10Speaker 3: pick them up in a cyber truck. I have seen
- 2:03:14Speaker 3: them from the outside. I think they're hideous, but I
- 2:03:16Speaker 3: had never seen one from the inside. So before they left,
- 2:03:18Speaker 3: I said, let me check this thing out. Got to
- 2:03:20Speaker 3: admit it's pretty.
- 2:03:21Speaker 2: Rad, right, I'm still I'm still edging was.
- 2:03:31Speaker 3: Way bigger than I thought it would be, and they
- 2:03:33Speaker 3: were comfortable, and it had TV screens back there, so
- 2:03:36Speaker 3: it was like entertainment. Just opening the rear door, I
- 2:03:39Speaker 3: gotta say, pretty bad.
- 2:03:40Speaker 2: It's hand.
- 2:03:43Speaker 3: It's like a button or.
- 2:03:44Speaker 2: Something, trying to just bane all that stuff.
- 2:03:46Speaker 15: Men.
- 2:03:47Speaker 7: Yeah, so China does not like hidden door handles, so yeah,
- 2:03:52Speaker 7: another reason to like it now.
- 2:03:54Speaker 3: But I will say the driver had to hit the
- 2:03:56Speaker 3: button multiple times because the door wouldn't open. Well, that
- 2:03:58Speaker 3: was the thing.
- 2:03:58Speaker 2: There was a there's a video of one of the
- 2:04:00Speaker 2: read they're saying, this is the reason that China's banning
- 2:04:02Speaker 2: is because there was a mine. It looked like a
- 2:04:04Speaker 2: pretty minor accident, but because the battery got damaged, it
- 2:04:07Speaker 2: started a fire. It was one of those battery fires, right,
- 2:04:11Speaker 2: and so they know they couldn't get out in the
- 2:04:14Speaker 2: cyber truck, all yes, and the people so the guy
- 2:04:16Speaker 2: in the driver he got out, but then the other
- 2:04:19Speaker 2: people died.
- 2:04:19Speaker 7: Well weird unless they're knocked out because all of those
- 2:04:23Speaker 7: things have manual safety latches on the inside.
- 2:04:25Speaker 2: Yeah, it's built in the armrest. Yeah. Well maybe no
- 2:04:28Speaker 2: one told them. They don't know.
- 2:04:34Speaker 7: Oh yeah, like people that haven't been before, they hate
- 2:04:39Speaker 7: those banuel things and they almost break the door because
- 2:04:42Speaker 7: those are only for emergencies.
- 2:04:45Speaker 5: That's not also true, not what the cyber truck anyway,
- 2:04:47Speaker 5: Anything breaks on the cyber truck.
- 2:04:49Speaker 3: But do they have an emergency thing to open it
- 2:04:51Speaker 3: from the outside in case it's burning and you're passed
- 2:04:54Speaker 3: out and I can get you out.
- 2:04:56Speaker 11: I don't think so.
- 2:05:00Speaker 2: At least they can break the easily. You can shoot
- 2:05:04Speaker 2: you away, I will.
- 2:05:06Speaker 3: Say, though interior. Yeah, so good job inventing that truck.
- 2:05:12Speaker 2: You still have You still had your complimentary right.
