- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_01]: Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's me, Dr. Steve, and while the midterms are two weeks away, the early voting has already begun, which means that we can now get a sense of how this election is playing out.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_01]: And no one has a better sense of things on the ground than Scott Pressler of early vote action.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: Scott's here to give us a sense of what's happening, what Washington is missing, and whether the Republicans can deliver in both the House
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: and the Senate.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: So Scott, welcome back.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: Great to see you again.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's always great to be here.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Dr. Terely, for having me.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: Well, thank you for making some time for us.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: I know you're busy with, let us know where you are today.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: You're one of the courthouses I see in Pennsylvania.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we have in person on Demi and happening in all 67 counties.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: So I am back in the belly of the beast in Doyle's town at the Bucks County Courthouse.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be here until 4 p.m. and tomorrow I head to Pike County.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: engaging in in person on demand voting.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: So I am Chris crossing our commonwealth.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's so awesome.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: So give us a sense of what you're seeing.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: Give us a bit of a reality check here.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_01]: If you can from both sides, what do you seeing that that has you very optimistic?
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: What are you seeing that has you concerned?
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm a numbers guy.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: As are you, let's go over the numbers.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: Republicans have returned a hundred and twenty three thousand mail-in ballots.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: I think we've requested somewhere in the neighborhood of two hundred and sixty seven.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_00]: So we're at one twenty three returned.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: Democrats have returned at three hundred and sixty three thousand.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I believe they've requested something like
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: 750,000.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: Neither party has yet to return 50% of the ballots it's requested.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: Now on its face, you can look at those numbers and go, well, we have a deficit right now going into election day of 240,000.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: But the reality is that while that number is prominent, going into the 2022 election when Senator Federman won, the Democrats were going into election day with 400,000.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: So they, in 16 days, have to return 400,000 more male and ballots while Republicans only have to return,
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: 140,000.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: And we are making a concerted effort making sure that Republicans are returning those ballots.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: One last piece of data for you, Doc, is since 2022, the Democrats have actually requested 100,000 fewer male and ballots than four years ago.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: And Republicans are actually up.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: in the mail-in ballots.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: So again, all of the data, the voter registration dictates were in a better position now four years later than 2022.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: 2022, a year that we didn't do well.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: And the Democrats have a lot of ground that they're going to have to make up four and 16 days to even get close to what they did four years ago.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, you're talking to a lot of Republicans, obviously, voters in the like, what's the, what's the sentiment that you're getting?
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: Are they excited about the election?
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: Are they fired up?
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: Are they concerned about, you know, cost of living?
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: What, what are you getting from them?
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I think the best way to make analogies is to compare like to like, so I'm not comparing this to 24, 20 or 16.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm comparing this to the sentiments of 22 and 2018.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: Those are the data and the perspectives that we need to be looking at.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: And I have to say, I think the energy and enthusiasm is much better than 2018.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's much better, I think, even than 2022.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: And even looking at it from 2016 to 2018, the Democrats were especially fired up.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: because they believed, we won the popular vote.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know, Donald Trump is illegitimate.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: Guys, the battlefield changed as soon as we won the popular vote in 2024.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: Because that changed a lot of the mentality across the country.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: So we came out knowing we won every swing state that we were winners.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: We not only won the electoral college, but we won the popular.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: So we are the majority.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: And we already proved that it can be done.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: Now, we can acknowledge that there's room for improvement, you know, to this audience, I want to make it clear, I understand that the job is not done, but we need to more years, and sure that the president is a thank you very much, guys, thank you.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: that he is a four, I appreciate you, a four year president.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's got to complete his agenda.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: You don't stop construction on a project two years in.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: You complete the project that you wanted to do.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: And so I think from redistricting, from the voter registration gains and states like Arizona, Pennsylvania, Florida, that we are in a much better position for this midterm than we were.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: And
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think from Republicans, you're even hearing from people, yes, I'm not happy with everything, but I understand that allowing the opposition to win is an existential threat to the freedoms that we hold dear in our country.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: So many of them, begrudgingly, are still going to vote on the less.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's that's awesome.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: And we have you to thank for so much to that together of the of the registration.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the voter registration strategy that you've been employing.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: I thought via Pennsylvania was right after 2020.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's when in my correct on that, you really zeroed in on on Pennsylvania.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're not going to let that happen again.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: and you've been brilliant.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: Have you been keeping track of what's happening and like for example, tech today's first in person early voting and Texas?
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's looking pretty good from where I'm sitting.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: What's the word you're getting there?
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think finally Republicans are getting it.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: Finally, we're pushing the early voting.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: And especially in a state like Texas, listen, early in person voting.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not asking to vote by mail.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not asking you to do a drop-ox for United States Postal Service.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: And if my memory serves me correct, any person within a county can go to any early in person
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: location to vote within that county.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not like you are limited to your precinct.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: The opportunities for more voters to vote is present in a state like Texas.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I posted on my social media recently, Doc, that in Montgomery County, Texas,
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: a voter showed a long line in a red county of Montgomery and there were a lot of men in that photo.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're Penn Paxton, you're going, yes, my demographic is coming out.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: You're saying, yes, this is a red county and this is day one.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: So by tomorrow, we're going to have more data on how many people voted on the first day, but I bet you it's going to be strong turnout for Republicans.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm absolutely I'm getting word that Dallas County and and Travis to to big but Travis with Austin to blue counties.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: They're way down, especially with the black vote.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: And apparently day one, if in person early voting is is the biggest day for the black vote.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: And so I don't know if this is the revenge of a ghetto girl or what I don't think tele Rico's like in those those numbers.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: Well, look at what they did to Jasmine Crockett, you know, you can say what you want about her and her ideology.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: But this is a game of math.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: This is a game of addition.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: This is a game of coalition building.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: And when James Telerico loses because we are going to elect Ken Pax into the United States Senate, it will be because that their coalition has fallen apart and that they weren't able to bring
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: all of their base together while we are standing strong behind our base.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: Nice to meet you.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: Which fits exactly with what you were saying before.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's our nation now.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: We're the majority.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: And I know translating, um,
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: enthusiasm for Trump is to the Republican Party as a whole is difficult.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's a tone challenge.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: So right now, the MAGA movement is very much an executive branch movement, you know, measured or centered in one man.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: But what I think you're trying to do is you're trying to make it more of a, you know, article one legislative movement for midterms in the light.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: Well, again, another attempt to sabotage, right?
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: I just know that trying to translate a presidential movement, mega movement, into a legislative movement has its challenges.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: And that's a, it seems to me that's the next step that we have to do.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: How are you seeing those challenges of bringing Republicans out to vote when Trump isn't on the ballot?
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: the president is making it clear.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: He's even been so bold as to say, I am on the ballot.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, put me on the ballot.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: Think of me as on the ballot.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think that we've been seen a president really pushed this hard ever in a midterm.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: Visiting as many states as he's done, doing as many rallies as he is doing, getting as many surrogates as he is.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: J.D.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: Vance is doing rallies as well.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: In 2024, I had 87 staff on the ground, knocking on doors, registering voters.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: This is a midterm election.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: I have 81 staff on the ground.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: We at early vote action are treating this midterm election with the urgency of a presidential election.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: And quite frankly, all of these political action committees like mine and outside groups, we didn't have this infrastructure.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't have the ability and the resources that we have now.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: So again, everything is leading me to believe that we are in a much better position.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: This is a turn-out election now.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: This is which base can energize its voters the most to come out of the election.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: So Scott, what's the game plan for the next couple of weeks and for somebody watching who wants to participate and who's never volunteered before and they want to get involved, what can they do, what can what's one thing they could do now and how can people support you and what you're doing.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I want to make a pitch for early voting, please.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: And this is very important.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: So let's revisit.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: So why am I pushing the early voting?
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: A couple reasons.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: One is what can happen in election day?
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: And here is County.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: They ran out of paper of pellets on election day in 2022.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: And Lutheran County, they ran out of paper ballots in 2022 in Pennsylvania.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: And Nevada, it's snowed on election day in 2022.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: There has been, thank you very much, nice to meet you.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: How are you?
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: There have been time and time again that if Republicans wait until the last moment to vote that anything can happen on Election Day, we're not going to allow for the disenfranchisement of our voters.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: Number two, I believe there's a political siop happening right now.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: The trading markets, the betting markets, the polls, the pundits, I believe all of that is being weaponized.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: in order to discourage Republicans by voting.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: The same way in 2016, when Hillary Clinton pushed early voting and they said, Oh, Hillary Clinton and Ohio in Florida is winning so big by such big margins that Donald Trump can't even win on election day.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: How many people dock?
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: didn't vote in 2016 because they thought in their heads that the election was already one for Hillary.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: How many people were discouraged?
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: Meanwhile, 2022, we pushed early voting, Governor DeSantis, and we were winning early voting with more Republicans in Broward County, Blue County, West Palm Beach, Blue County, Hillsboro, Tampa, Blue County, you know what happened?
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: the inverse effect happened.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: We were winning in blue counties and suddenly Republicans went wait a second.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in a vote.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm encouraged to vote.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: And Governor DeSantis won with over 1.5 million more votes, 60 to 40 in Florida and it's no longer a swing state.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: When I want you to vote early, if you're in Pennsylvania, hear me, go to your election's office, do in person on demand voting.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: I voted that way.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't tell you to vote that way.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: If I didn't believe in it, it's barcoded.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_00]: You can track your ballot.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: And the numbers that I reported to you earlier, 122 to 363, you help me get those numbers up.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: People will be in courage as opposed to
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I really need you to vote early in knock-on doors.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: Is there a site that they can go to to sign up with you, Scott, to support you?
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: Earlyvote action.com is my website.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: I have staff on the ground in all four congressional districts.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: And Scott Perry's district, York, Cumberland, often, and Fitzpatrick's district, Montgomery, Bucks County, and Mackenzie's district,
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: And, uh, there's another one in there.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: And then I also have, uh, Brezhnehans district, which is York, Wayne, Lackawana, Lou Surn, and parts of Monroe.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: We, I can connect you with the staff member.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: If you're in any of those counties in PA, turning point action is doing a great job.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: They're in Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, and of course we need governor Biggs in Arizona.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: I already call him governor Biggs.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: We need Tom Tiffany and Wisconsin.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: We need a Lombardo to get re-elected in Nevada as well.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: So, gang, we've got the link down below early vote action.com and reach out to Scott or donate to whatever you can to help him out and be a part of making history like we did back in November 2024.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, are you guys there?
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_01]: You're welcome.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_01]: I see you're busy.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to keep you anymore.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: I want you to keep sorry, whatever.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, it's not being rude whenever there's a voter.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like a hyena.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a moron.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: I just I have to go in.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_01]: I got to get in your way.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: I do not want to get your wonderful.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: The last day doctorally in order to do on demand voting or request a male and ballot is October 27th.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: After October 27th, they can still turn in a mail-in ballot that they have received by election day at APM to their election office, or they can do in-person voting the 27th, but after that, the only other option for voting is Tuesday, November 3rd.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: November 3rd in person.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: Excellent.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: Very good October 27.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: So that's eight days from now.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: Very, very good information there.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: Excellent Scott.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: Well, please, yeah, let us know if there's anything we can do to help you.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm very grateful.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: And personally, not supporting the organization right now.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: This is just Scott Pressler.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: I voted for Stacey Garrity.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: I voted for Jason Richie.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: I voted for Tony Guy.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: I voted for my Republican state representative John Costanza candidate.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_00]: So, please, top to bottom.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to support the entire ticket.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: This is Operation Red.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_01]: Remove every Democrat.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm very grateful
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, absolutely, Scott, thank you.
