- 0:01Speaker 1: Hello, I'm Gary Stearman. Welcome to Prophecy Watchers. We have
- 0:06Speaker 1: a guest today. Many of you have seen him before,
- 0:10Speaker 1: but Avi Lipkin is back at Prophecy Watchers. And when
- 0:14Speaker 1: he comes, he always brings an amazing new way to
- 0:19Speaker 1: look at the Middle East. And do we ever need
- 0:22Speaker 1: to look at it correctly now, the way things are happening?
- 0:26Speaker 1: Avi Lipkin, welcome to Prophecy Watchers.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Great to be back again.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Again. And what I just said is very true. I'm
- 0:34Speaker 1: looking at a book called Lepanto II, Turkey and the
- 0:38Speaker 1: Battle of Armageddon. And the first time I looked at
- 0:42Speaker 1: the title of the book, you put two things together
- 0:45Speaker 1: that are not usually put together, Turkey and the Battle
- 0:48Speaker 1: of Armageddon. And this book is amazingly interesting. And you
- 0:54Speaker 1: have a very, very broad but accurate view of war.
- 1:02Speaker 1: geopolitics in the Middle East. And I'd like for you
- 1:05Speaker 1: to share those thoughts with our audience, because Americans need
- 1:10Speaker 1: to know what's happening. And we basically do not get
- 1:15Speaker 1: this kind of information from the daily news.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Well, I have to tell you, I've been in this
- 1:21Speaker 3: business 35 years already. And I was very close to
- 1:27Speaker 3: Chuck Missler, in Idaho. He was originally from Costa Mesa
- 1:34Speaker 3: in California. And I worked very closely with Chuck Missler.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I did many CDs, DVDs. I loved Chuck Missler very much.
- 1:44Speaker 3: And I would like to say I was very close
- 1:46Speaker 3: to him until he died. One thing about Chuck Missler
- 1:51Speaker 3: that we would fight, we would fight in the Lord.
- 1:54Speaker 3: It was a very friendly fight. And he would say, oh, Armageddon,
- 1:58Speaker 3: That's Russia, the Soviet Union.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yes.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Okay. And I said, I think I disagree with you. Why?
- 2:05Speaker 3: I said, because Russia is a Christian country. And I
- 2:10Speaker 3: was right, but I was wrong. Because at that time,
- 2:13Speaker 3: when I first started working with Chuck Missler, it was
- 2:16Speaker 3: the Soviet Union. And the Soviet Union had a Muslim
- 2:20Speaker 3: majority population. Wow.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yes.
- 2:24Speaker 3: And it was 350 million. population of the Soviet Union.
- 2:30Speaker 3: It was bigger than the United States at that time.
- 2:32Speaker 3: America was 250 million. And we're going to do another
- 2:36Speaker 3: program where we're going to talk about how America today
- 2:39Speaker 3: is 350 million with 30 million Muslims. But in those days,
- 2:43Speaker 3: it was 350 million, but 200 million were Muslim. And
- 2:48Speaker 3: they were in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, all the stands. And
- 2:55Speaker 3: after the fall of the collapse of the Soviet system
- 3:00Speaker 3: and Russia basically was dislodged from the Islamic Republics, also
- 3:07Speaker 3: the Baltic Republics and Ukraine and others, the people who
- 3:13Speaker 3: broke away from the Soviet Union were the Muslims, were
- 3:16Speaker 3: 200 million. So Russia's population became 150 million and there
- 3:19Speaker 3: are 17 million Muslims in Russia, but it's a Russian
- 3:26Speaker 3: Orthodox Christian country. It's not, you know, white Anglo-Saxon Texas
- 3:30Speaker 3: Christian country. But a Christian country in the old fashioned
- 3:35Speaker 3: Eastern Orthodox way of thinking. And I'll tell you the truth,
- 3:40Speaker 3: Putin himself with all his faults and all the crazy
- 3:43Speaker 3: stuff with Ukraine, Putin is very pro-Jewish and he blesses
- 3:48Speaker 3: the rabbis, he gives them a salary. Ukraine does not
- 3:50Speaker 3: give a salary to the rabbis. they have to get
- 3:53Speaker 3: money from abroad. But the Russians pay a salary and
- 3:56Speaker 3: they defend their Jewish population. So Russia is, I said,
- 4:02Speaker 3: this cannot be Armageddon. Armageddon has to be an enemy
- 4:06Speaker 3: that is totally ruthless and totally against the Jews and
- 4:09Speaker 3: the Christians.
- 4:10Speaker 2: And that's the Islamic world.
- 4:13Speaker 3: And I'm gonna give you the bottom line at the
- 4:15Speaker 3: end of, which is the end of my message this
- 4:17Speaker 3: morning on this program, is that Turkey, is the Armageddon,
- 4:23Speaker 3: and it gives citizenship to any Turkic Muslim from the
- 4:28Speaker 3: former Soviet Union, so Turkey is not 100 million, it's
- 4:32Speaker 3: 300 million. In other words, if a war breaks out
- 4:36Speaker 3: between Turkey and Israel, 300 million Turkic Muslims and more
- 4:41Speaker 3: will join up in a war against Israel.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I should say that from my perspective, I hear rumors
- 4:47Speaker 1: to that effect that Turkey might make a move.
- 4:51Speaker 3: We're getting closer. That's why I wrote this book as
- 4:54Speaker 3: a warning. And we did a show, you and I,
- 4:57Speaker 3: about five, six years ago, where we spoke about this,
- 4:59Speaker 3: but in its more, how shall I say, embryonic stage.
- 5:02Speaker 3: But we're getting very close now to a confrontation with Turkey,
- 5:06Speaker 3: which we do not want. Israel does not want confrontation
- 5:09Speaker 3: with Turkey. And the Turks are lining up with Egypt,
- 5:13Speaker 3: which has this one-track mind, which is to destroy Israel,
- 5:16Speaker 3: in spite of the peace process. So the Egyptians and
- 5:19Speaker 3: the Turks are going to come together to attack Israel.
- 5:22Speaker 3: That is the war after Iran. I think Iran war
- 5:26Speaker 3: will be over very soon. And we spoke about this,
- 5:30Speaker 3: that the Israeli troops are on the ground. They are
- 5:33Speaker 3: training the Iranian protesters and opposition. And Iran one day
- 5:40Speaker 3: will be free. The Iranian people will be free. And
- 5:42Speaker 3: they will be allies of America and allies of Israel.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Who's going to take over?
- 5:47Speaker 2: The Turks.
- 5:48Speaker 3: The Turks are going to be the next enemy of Israel.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Because all Muslims are told in the Quran, chapter 5,
- 5:54Speaker 3: verse 51, do not take the Jews or the Christians
- 5:58Speaker 3: for your friends. And I have many other quotes also
- 6:00Speaker 3: which we'll get into.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I'm looking at your book, Lepanto II, Turkey and the
- 6:06Speaker 1: Battle of Armageddon. Now, Americans don't think about Turkey and
- 6:09Speaker 1: the Battle of Armageddon. This is something we don't connect
- 6:11Speaker 1: in our minds. And But you've documented a great deal
- 6:16Speaker 1: of political thought in the Middle East that we in
- 6:22Speaker 1: America don't watch. Because what we watch is really what's
- 6:26Speaker 1: on the nightly news. We are very, very much involved
- 6:30Speaker 1: with what's going on with Iran and Donald Trump. And
- 6:33Speaker 1: that whole problem occupies 95% of the space in the news. Turkey,
- 6:44Speaker 1: we hear about occasionally, but not much. Not much going
- 6:48Speaker 1: on there, so we kind of ignore that. And you're
- 6:50Speaker 1: saying we should be looking to the north of Israel.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Very carefully, very carefully. I wanted to add another thing.
- 6:59Speaker 3: As you can tell, I'm an American, born in America,
- 7:02Speaker 3: raised in America, and I've been in Israel 58 years,
- 7:07Speaker 3: but I'm kind of schizophrenic because I don't know if
- 7:10Speaker 3: I'm an American or if I'm an Israeli. I don't
- 7:14Speaker 3: know if I'm a Jew or a Christian. That'll get
- 7:16Speaker 3: me very much into trouble in Israel also. But I
- 7:19Speaker 3: love all Christians. I love all Jews. By the way,
- 7:21Speaker 3: I love the Muslims also. A very important part of history,
- 7:26Speaker 3: which is also in this book, is that the Jews,
- 7:30Speaker 3: why do the Jews love Turkey?
- 7:33Speaker 2: There's a good reason.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Because the Catholics destroyed us in Spain in 1492.
- 7:38Speaker 2: They expelled the Jews. Who took them in? The Turks did.
- 7:43Speaker 3: And the Jews played a very, very major role in
- 7:45Speaker 3: the Turkish empire for centuries. And the Jews fought in
- 7:50Speaker 3: the Turkish army against the Christians. The Jews were the
- 7:53Speaker 3: basis of the economy of the Turks in many instances.
- 7:57Speaker 3: My wife's grandfather was a tax collector in Istanbul. And
- 8:01Speaker 3: the Turks said, if you try to collect money from us,
- 8:03Speaker 3: we're gonna kill you. He was on the next boat
- 8:05Speaker 3: to Egypt. So he went to Egypt and that's where
- 8:08Speaker 3: he met my wife's grandmother. And so my wife is Egyptian.
- 8:11Speaker 3: but she has Turkish roots. And the grandmother was from
- 8:13Speaker 3: Fez in Morocco. So the whole Turkish empire from Morocco
- 8:19Speaker 3: to China was Turkish. And you go into a school
- 8:23Speaker 3: or a public building in Turkey, you're gonna see the
- 8:25Speaker 3: map from Morocco to China, Xinjiang province.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Right now, in other words, you're talking about today.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Today. And they reached Vienna.
- 8:35Speaker 3: They were defeated by Jan Sobieski, the King of Poland
- 8:38Speaker 3: in 1683.
- 8:40Speaker 2: And they reached Yemen. They reached Mecca. They want to
- 8:44Speaker 2: go back. They want to go back to their caliphate.
- 8:48Speaker 3: But the point is that the Turks were never really
- 8:51Speaker 3: ever enemies of the Jews. They were relatively much better
- 8:55Speaker 3: to the Jews than the Christians, the Catholics. And many
- 9:01Speaker 3: times I'm in synagogues all over the world on the Sabbath.
- 9:04Speaker 3: They say, well, the Muslims are closer to us than
- 9:07Speaker 3: the Christians are. And what I'm saying is, there's been
- 9:10Speaker 3: a switch. The evangelical American Protestant Christians are the allies,
- 9:15Speaker 3: some of them are allies of Israel, whereas the Muslims
- 9:18Speaker 3: are now solidly united against the Jews and against the Christians.
- 9:24Speaker 3: And all of this is because of the rise of
- 9:25Speaker 3: the oil wealth, the oil power, which has given them
- 9:29Speaker 3: the victory in the eyes of Allah. This is the
- 9:31Speaker 3: way they look at it, Turks included. So many, many
- 9:35Speaker 3: Jews are living in the 1492 period It was like
- 9:39Speaker 3: a Holocaust, the expulsion of the Jews from Spain and
- 9:42Speaker 3: the forced conversion to Catholicism by the Catholic Church. 1588,
- 9:49Speaker 3: there was a battle of the Spanish Armada. Everybody in
- 9:54Speaker 3: America knows about the battle of the Spanish Armada because
- 9:57Speaker 3: the Protestants, the Dutch and the English, licked the Catholics,
- 10:02Speaker 3: destroyed their fleet. And it was a monumental thing when
- 10:06Speaker 3: you destroy the fleet of a country. But nobody knows
- 10:10Speaker 3: about Lepanto. The Battle of Lepanto, 1571, 17 years before
- 10:18Speaker 3: the Battle of the Spanish Armada, was the Battle of Lepanto,
- 10:22Speaker 3: in which the Holy Alliance Catholic fleet of Spain, Genoa,
- 10:26Speaker 3: and Venice sank the.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Whole Turkish fleet.
- 10:30Speaker 3: But nobody knows about it because you don't want to
- 10:32Speaker 3: give any good credit to the Catholics.
- 10:33Speaker 1: And now I'm looking at your book, Lepanto II. So
- 10:39Speaker 1: you filled us in on Lepanto I.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Yes.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Which took place when again?
- 10:43Speaker 3: In April of 1571, 17 years before the Battle of
- 10:47Speaker 3: the Spanish Armada.
- 10:48Speaker 1: So we fast forward to today.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Yes.
- 10:51Speaker 1: And you're writing about something that you've titled Lepanto II.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Which is the destruction of the Turkish fleet today off
- 11:01Speaker 3: the shores of Cyprus.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And you see, should I say clearly see, a movement
- 11:10Speaker 1: in this direction.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Correct.
- 11:12Speaker 3: This is not only about Islam versus the Jews and
- 11:16Speaker 3: the Christians, because if they take Cyprus, they're going to
- 11:19Speaker 3: kill half a million Cypriot Christians, or the Cypriot Christians
- 11:22Speaker 3: will be given 24 hours.
- 11:24Speaker 2: To leave the island.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Wow.
- 11:26Speaker 3: But now that Israel, Cyprus, and Greece have found gas,
- 11:31Speaker 3: natural gas, under the Mediterranean's seafloor, And this alliance of
- 11:37Speaker 3: the Greeks and the Jews is going to have a
- 11:41Speaker 3: pipeline to Italy and supply.
- 11:42Speaker 1: All of Europe. A little side note. I have heard
- 11:45Speaker 1: and I continue to hear rumors about the undersea, under
- 11:49Speaker 1: the Mediterranean, I guess, oil and gas. And apparently the
- 11:56Speaker 1: discoveries continue to be made. Correct.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Correct.
- 12:00Speaker 1: And that's going to be a huge political problem, you're saying.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Yeah, because the Turks are saying it belongs to Turkey.
- 12:06Speaker 1: And, of course, the Israelis are saying, wait a minute.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Yeah. This is a package deal.
- 12:14Speaker 3: And so the Israelis are looking at everything from a
- 12:18Speaker 3: civilizational perspective. You know, as a footnote, I have to
- 12:22Speaker 3: say that the Greeks and the Greek Cypriots were pro-Arab
- 12:27Speaker 3: until they found the gas.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Ah.
- 12:30Speaker 3: And now all of a sudden the Greek economy is
- 12:33Speaker 3: picking up. The Greek Cypriot economy is picking up. Tourism
- 12:37Speaker 3: is picking up. And the Israeli population in Cyprus is
- 12:42Speaker 3: picking up. We're very good neighbors with the Cypriots. There
- 12:45Speaker 3: are very good relations with them. But today we have
- 12:49Speaker 3: a situation, and I spoke about this on another program
- 12:52Speaker 3: we did, the Druze and the Christians in Syria and
- 12:57Speaker 3: Lebanon are threatened with annihilation by the Muslims. the Greek
- 13:00Speaker 3: Cypriot Christians are threatened with annihilation by the Turks. And
- 13:04Speaker 3: the Turks have now come down into Syria, and they
- 13:07Speaker 3: have established Ahmed al-Shahra, Julani, as the dictator, as the
- 13:12Speaker 3: president of Syria. And Israel has a line drawn from
- 13:18Speaker 3: Damascus to Mount Hermon, which is now in our hands,
- 13:21Speaker 3: and going east to Suwaida, which is a Druze village,
- 13:24Speaker 3: a Druze city, in our hands. And the Druze are
- 13:27Speaker 3: demanding Israeli citizenship. The Christians are demanding Israeli citizenship because
- 13:33Speaker 3: we are the only people who will defend them from
- 13:35Speaker 3: the Muslims. And now Cyprus and Greece are allies of Israel,
- 13:41Speaker 3: and we are going to work with them to make
- 13:42Speaker 3: sure that the Turks do not reclaim and reconquer Cyprus.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Wow.
- 13:48Speaker 1: We're listening to a summation of Middle East conflicts, very complex.
- 13:55Speaker 1: By the way, we here at Prophecy Watchers have a

- 16:17Speaker 4: help us continue sharing the gospel and the truth of
- 16:20Speaker 4: Bible prophecy with a world that desperately needs both.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Well, we're back with Avi Lipkin, who has written a
- 16:28Speaker 1: book called Lepanto II, and in the first part of
- 16:31Speaker 1: this program, we learn about Lepanto I, a battle that
- 16:35Speaker 1: was fought long ago, but it has kind of rolled
- 16:38Speaker 1: forward in time, and the old conflicts are rising again.
- 16:44Speaker 1: And this is fantastic to listen to, because as Christians
- 16:49Speaker 1: who read about Bible prophecy and weed, I read about
- 16:54Speaker 1: wars in the Middle East, and a lot of Christians
- 16:56Speaker 1: are looking very, very deeply into Scripture to see what
- 17:00Speaker 1: the Bible has to say about the conflicts in the
- 17:03Speaker 1: Middle East today. You come along with details we don't
- 17:08Speaker 1: often think about.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Indeed, as I said before, the Jews who were expelled
- 17:16Speaker 3: from Spain in 1492 were given asylum. in the Turkish Empire,
- 17:21Speaker 3: whether it be Morocco or Istanbul. And so there is
- 17:26Speaker 3: this mantra by Jews to be Democrat, to be socialist,
- 17:32Speaker 3: to be communist, anything which is anti-Christian, because the Christians
- 17:37Speaker 3: were bad to us in Europe. Now, the Christians are
- 17:41Speaker 3: good to us in America, but American Jews don't know
- 17:45Speaker 3: about it because American Jews will not step into a church.
- 17:49Speaker 2: And I've been in a thousand churches. Do you remember
- 17:52Speaker 2: the King and I getting to know you?
- 17:56Speaker 3: When a Jew goes to the church, I'm not saying
- 17:58Speaker 3: he will convert or she will convert to Christianity, but
- 18:01Speaker 3: they will begin to understand the love that the Christians in.
- 18:05Speaker 2: America have for us. But we are locked in.
- 18:08Speaker 3: I don't say I, we as a people are locked
- 18:11Speaker 3: in to the persecutions of Christian Russia, Christian Europe, Nazis,
- 18:17Speaker 3: Spanish Catholics, By the way, today in America, a lot
- 18:20Speaker 3: of Catholics are getting Protestantized and becoming Americans and loving
- 18:25Speaker 3: the Jewish people.
- 18:25Speaker 2: The Pope, however, is still pro-Islamic.
- 18:29Speaker 3: So there's a lot of things going on that we
- 18:31Speaker 3: don't really understand. In World War I, the Turks reached their,
- 18:40Speaker 3: I think the word is nadir, you know, their lowest level.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Ottoman Turkey was the sick man of Europe. I grew
- 18:47Speaker 3: up with Lawrence of Arabia. that famous movie.
- 18:50Speaker 2: With Peter O'Toole.
- 18:52Speaker 3: And I was actually always very pro-Arab and anti-Turkish. The
- 18:56Speaker 3: Turks looked like mean guys, like the Nazis and everything.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Turks were good to the Jews.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Their great hero for many decades was Ataturk, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
- 19:12Speaker 3: And he was actually lionized. He was very, very much
- 19:16Speaker 3: praised by the Jews of Salonika, Saloniki. And the Christians
- 19:21Speaker 3: hated the Jews because they liked this Turkish leader, but
- 19:24Speaker 3: he was a liberal, he was secular. And he created
- 19:28Speaker 3: a new Republic of Turkey and he banished the caliphate,
- 19:33Speaker 3: which he thought was a retarded Arabic idea.
- 19:37Speaker 2: And he said, Turkey has to be European.
- 19:40Speaker 3: And every Turkish family should be a father, a mother,
- 19:44Speaker 3: a child, and a dog, like the Europeans. And for decades,
- 19:49Speaker 3: from 1921 1923, I would say until 1983, Turkey was
- 19:53Speaker 3: a secular country. They even had a woman prime minister
- 19:57Speaker 3: at a time that I remember, Tansu Çiler, a woman
- 20:03Speaker 3: prime minister. The prime ministers were secular. The judges in
- 20:06Speaker 3: courts were secular. The military leaders were secular. They were Muslim,
- 20:11Speaker 3: but they were secular. And we had relations with these people.
- 20:16Speaker 3: And the downfall happened because Ataturk said one child per family.
- 20:25Speaker 3: But the conservative Turkish Muslims who lived in the villages,
- 20:29Speaker 3: in the agrarian back hills and stuff, they had many children.
- 20:33Speaker 2: And there was no work.
- 20:35Speaker 3: So the children would emigrate to the big cities, Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir.
- 20:40Speaker 3: And what happened after a few decades, the fanatic Muslim
- 20:44Speaker 3: Sunnis returned little by little to power. And before Erdogan,
- 20:49Speaker 3: this one who's ruling now, there was another.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Leader called Erbakan.
- 20:54Speaker 3: And people looked at this guy and said, this guy's
- 20:56Speaker 3: a threat to secular Turkey. And then Erbakan was finished,
- 21:00Speaker 3: Erdogan took over, and now they are on steroids.
- 21:03Speaker 1: The clock is catching up with us, and I want
- 21:06Speaker 1: to get to the main point of your thesis. Where
- 21:11Speaker 1: is all this headed, say, in the next five years?
- 21:15Speaker 1: Where should we be watching to understand the complexities of
- 21:21Speaker 1: this thing?
- 21:22Speaker 3: The restoration of the caliphate. Turkey was the head of
- 21:27Speaker 3: the caliphate. from Morocco to China, from Vienna all the
- 21:30Speaker 3: way to Yemen. They were defeated in a whole bunch
- 21:34Speaker 3: of wars. And I'm a Sovietologist, so I know all
- 21:38Speaker 3: of the wars the Russians defeated the.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Turks and they want all their land back.
- 21:45Speaker 3: That includes Southern Europe, that includes Turkey and North Africa,
- 21:50Speaker 3: that includes Arabia.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Is Erdogan thinking this way?
- 21:53Speaker 2: Absolutely. And he has a plan.
- 21:56Speaker 3: And my wife and I are watching all the time
- 21:59Speaker 3: everything that's happening in Turkey. Now they push down from
- 22:04Speaker 3: Turkey all the way to Damascus. So the Turks are
- 22:07Speaker 3: already on the border of Israel, very close to Israel.
- 22:13Speaker 1: What will the current war in Iran do to this
- 22:18Speaker 1: picture you're painting?
- 22:20Speaker 3: Turkey will become the bad guy. And Iran will become
- 22:23Speaker 3: the good guy because Iran will be an ally of
- 22:26Speaker 3: America and Israel. And Israel has its boots on the ground.
- 22:30Speaker 3: We are training the Iranian protesters and opposition. And at
- 22:35Speaker 3: a certain moment, you're going to wake up one morning
- 22:38Speaker 3: and Iran is liberated by America and the Israelis. I
- 22:42Speaker 3: believe Trump will go down in history as the liberator
- 22:45Speaker 3: of Iran. That's one of the reasons why he says
- 22:48Speaker 3: to the Israelis, don't get involved.
- 22:49Speaker 2: You know, I'm taking care of this.
- 22:51Speaker 3: And Trump is very, very angry with these liars and
- 22:55Speaker 3: crazy people, as he calls them.
- 22:56Speaker 1: You're listening to Avi Lipkin, his book, Lepanto II, Turkey
- 23:01Speaker 1: and the Battle of Armageddon. The Middle East is complex.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I don't think the average American, even the average Christian
- 23:08Speaker 1: who reads about the Bible prophecy and the Middle East
- 23:14Speaker 1: and the latter-day Middle East and so forth, I don't
- 23:17Speaker 1: think even the average American has the full grasp of
- 23:21Speaker 1: Middle East politics. And what you're laying out here is eye-opening.
- 23:28Speaker 1: It's amazing because we watch Israel. And for good reason.
- 23:33Speaker 1: The Bible speaks of the re-emergence of Israel the latter day.
- 23:37Speaker 1: And there's much, much, much Bible prophecy about latter-day Israel.
- 23:42Speaker 1: And so that's why we're interested. And of course... since
- 23:46Speaker 1: we're interested in Israel, we're watching the politics of the region,
- 23:51Speaker 1: and we don't quite get it, I think, because there's
- 23:56Speaker 1: much more to look at than we realize.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Well, America is blessed because America, firstly, has a Judeo-Christian
- 24:04Speaker 3: Western civilization way of thinking. But Atlantic Ocean on the right,
- 24:09Speaker 3: Pacific Ocean on the left, Canada, which is going through
- 24:12Speaker 3: some form of insanity now, but Canada is the best
- 24:16Speaker 3: neighbor and ally America could have. Mexicans, they're a different
- 24:20Speaker 3: type of Christian, but they're wonderful people and they're strong
- 24:23Speaker 3: allies of America. Why should they think about the Middle East?
- 24:26Speaker 2: Why should they think about China?
- 24:30Speaker 3: What do they care about? China is on the verge
- 24:33Speaker 3: of invading Taiwan. This could be really like World War III. Americans,
- 24:39Speaker 3: They just want to be left alone. Americans are very Jewish.
- 24:42Speaker 2: They just want to be left alone. But God has plans.
- 24:47Speaker 3: And I believe that the defeat of communism is an
- 24:50Speaker 3: historic event. The defeat of Nazism is an historic event.
- 24:55Speaker 3: And it's always America that defeats the enemy, the bad guys.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Listening to Avi Lipkin, let's pause right now and you
- 25:02Speaker 1: can find out how you can get his book.
- 25:07Speaker 4: It's always an education and an eye-opening history lesson when
- 25:10Speaker 4: our old friend Avi Lipkin joins us, all the way
- 25:13Speaker 4: from the land of Israel. We've known Avi and his
- 25:16Speaker 4: son Aaron for the past 25 years and value their
- 25:19Speaker 4: unique insights into something few Americans understand. What it's like
- 25:24Speaker 4: to be a Jew, completely surrounded by enemies in your
- 25:27Speaker 4: own land, whose ultimate goal is no Israel, no matter
- 25:31Speaker 4: how long it takes. Mondo and Daniel Wright will be
- 25:34Speaker 4: leading another tour of Israel next March 3rd through the 14th.
- 25:38Speaker 4: So if you've always wanted to set foot in the
- 25:40Speaker 4: Holy Land, here's your chance to walk in the footsteps
- 25:43Speaker 4: of Jesus with the Lipkin Tour Group. Visit the Lipkin's
- 25:47Speaker 4: registration website at visitisraeltoday.com for all the details. Students of
- 25:52Speaker 4: Bible prophecy are well aware of Turkey's involvement in the
- 25:55Speaker 4: soon-coming Ezekiel 38 attack on Israel, the Battle of Gog
- 25:59Speaker 4: and Magog. But very few people understand the background that
- 26:03Speaker 4: brings Turkey into the last day's war. Avi is one
- 26:07Speaker 4: of the few people warning the world about Turkey's intense
- 26:10Speaker 4: hatred of Israel and their plans for this future attack.
- 26:13Speaker 4: And as you've heard today, he has a deep understanding
- 26:16Speaker 4: of the Islamic threat to America and the world. Avi's
- 26:20Speaker 4: new book, Lepanto II, Turkey and the Battle of Armageddon,
- 26:23Speaker 4: and his insightful prophetic look into the future, Islamic Rivalry,
- 26:27Speaker 4: takes us back in time to the roots of the
- 26:29Speaker 4: Islamic and Turkish conflicts. It lays the groundwork for the
- 26:33Speaker 4: battles between Iran and Israel and teaches the American public
- 26:37Speaker 4: why the Sunnis and the Shiites continue to battle each
- 26:39Speaker 4: other for Middle East domination. Turkey's goal of restoring the
- 26:43Speaker 4: Islamic caliphate lies at the center of this regional nightmare
- 26:46Speaker 4: with one common enemy, Israel. Each book is available for
- 26:50Speaker 4: your gift of $ 25 or more with shipping included.
- 26:54Speaker 1: In the USA.
- 26:55Speaker 4: When you ask for both of Avi's books in the
- 26:57Speaker 4: Turkey and Armageddon package, available for your gift of $ 50
- 27:01Speaker 4: or more, we have a special bonus, a set of

- 28:04Speaker 2: Of Prophecy Watchers.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Remember, Jesus loves you, and He has a plan for
- 28:08Speaker 4: your life. God bless.
- 28:12Speaker 1: And we're back with Avi Lipkin. And Avi, it's eye-opening
- 28:17Speaker 1: to think about these things because we try to simplify.
- 28:23Speaker 1: We take the newspaper history view of things. What's going
- 28:26Speaker 1: to happen today and tomorrow? And how is it going
- 28:29Speaker 1: to affect me personally? And that's about as far as
- 28:33Speaker 1: we go into global politics as a people. but there's
- 28:39Speaker 1: a lot to look for, or let's put it this way,
- 28:44Speaker 1: there are many places to look behind to really get
- 28:47Speaker 1: the real story.
- 28:49Speaker 3: You know, I have to tell you, I'm changing the subject,
- 28:53Speaker 3: but it's going to wrap up, come back to where
- 28:54Speaker 3: we were. Israel used to provide electricity to its people
- 29:01Speaker 3: through the burning of charcoal, burning of petroleum, which is
- 29:06Speaker 3: very expensive, very contaminating, polluting.
- 29:12Speaker 2: We now go with the gas, which is much cleaner.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Our electricity generating stations now work on Israeli gas taken
- 29:24Speaker 3: out of the Mediterranean floor. We are now exporting actually
- 29:29Speaker 3: to Egypt. They have a plant there where they liquefy
- 29:33Speaker 3: gas and they send it to Europe. So this whole
- 29:36Speaker 3: question of gas and natural gas makes us allies. God
- 29:41Speaker 3: is cementing our alliance with the Greeks, with Greek Cyprus,
- 29:45Speaker 3: Greek Cypriots. But the Turks are saying, no, no, no, no.
- 29:51Speaker 3: In 1878, the British took away Cyprus on a 99-year
- 29:56Speaker 3: lease like Hong Kong. And that was 1977. Cyprus should
- 30:02Speaker 3: have reverted to Turkey. And so the Turks see Cyprus
- 30:06Speaker 3: as a Turkish empire, but that would be a threat
- 30:08Speaker 3: to Israel's existence.
- 30:10Speaker 1: It is more complex than you can possibly realize. I
- 30:13Speaker 1: wish we had more time to talk with Avi because, well,
- 30:18Speaker 1: on the other hand, you should read his book. Ah, yes.
- 30:23Speaker 1: The world turns and we are watching. In fact, we
- 30:29Speaker 1: are Prophecy Watchers. I'm Gary Stearman. We'll see you again soon.
