- 0:00Speaker 1: Thanks, that must go on the radio. All I'm saying
- 0:09Speaker 1: is we better be hearing from missus Olsen sometime this morning.
- 0:13Speaker 1: All right, things that must go. These are things that
- 0:15Speaker 1: are bugging you, things that you can't stand in anymore,
- 0:18Speaker 1: and so you want to get it off your chest.
- 0:20Speaker 1: You send them to us. You send it to radio
- 0:24Speaker 1: from hell at x ninety six dot com. But must
- 0:25Speaker 1: go in the subject line. If we read it on
- 0:27Speaker 1: the air, maybe you'll feel better. And sometimes these things
- 0:31Speaker 1: do disappear from your life. So I'll go first today.
- 0:34Speaker 1: One thing that must go is I've had to start
- 0:37Speaker 1: using these reading glasses sometimes and I really hate it.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I just hate it. That must go. This one says
- 0:45Speaker 1: my name is Mark, and you can say so. A
- 0:49Speaker 1: thing that must go is people not understanding angled parking spots.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Now I'm all for questioning authority and doing things your
- 0:57Speaker 1: own way, but there are a few things that society
- 0:59Speaker 1: has faced figured out. Angled parking spots are one of them.
- 1:03Speaker 1: They're invented or intended to pull straight into and then
- 1:08Speaker 1: back out of. When someone does a twelve point turned
- 1:11Speaker 1: to back into it, you're making it harder than it
- 1:13Speaker 1: needs to be, or you're driving the wrong way into
- 1:16Speaker 1: oncoming parking lot traffic to accomplish your boneheaded wrongness. Please
- 1:20Speaker 1: please please follow the rules in this instance. I have
- 1:23Speaker 1: more I could say about parking lots, but that's enough.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Now you said it. This one says, good morning lords.
- 1:29Speaker 1: There's been a number of things in my life that
- 1:31Speaker 1: must go. Recently, while registering for a recent MRI, I
- 1:36Speaker 1: completed the pre screening questionnaire on a provided tablet at
- 1:39Speaker 1: the end of the registration process, and upon returning the
- 1:42Speaker 1: tablet to the registrar, she handed me a clipboard with
- 1:46Speaker 1: an exact paper version of the MRI pre screening questions
- 1:50Speaker 1: that I had just answered electronically. Come on hospitals, one
- 1:54Speaker 1: or the other. This unneeded redundancy must go. That happened
- 1:58Speaker 1: to me once, and I said, I'm not filling this
- 2:01Speaker 1: out again and ended it back. I've done it right,
- 2:04Speaker 1: and she said, I understand. Anything that is perforated that
- 2:09Speaker 1: doesn't tear along the perforation must go. Yeah. Yeah. Stickers
- 2:13Speaker 1: on produce must go. I have a a Sumo a
- 2:18Speaker 1: tangerine here, no sticker on it because I bought them
- 2:20Speaker 1: in a case at Costco. From Costco, no stickers. Also,
- 2:26Speaker 1: there's the never ending road construction on thirteen Stuth near
- 2:29Speaker 1: Lucky thirteen. That must go. And the bomb cyclone that's
- 2:32Speaker 1: been happening back east that grounded the plane delivering my
- 2:36Speaker 1: car tea cells that were supposed to be here for
- 2:38Speaker 1: therapy yesterday must go. If they made it off the
- 2:41Speaker 1: ground in the last twenty four hours, I might get
- 2:43Speaker 1: to start therapy today. And I looked it up car
- 2:46Speaker 1: T cells. It's a personalized immunote therapy that genetically modifies
- 2:52Speaker 1: the patient's own tea cells to attack cancer cells. And
- 2:55Speaker 1: this is Johnny B. Finally, lymphoma must go. Thank you
- 2:59Speaker 1: for your time, be good luck, Johnny, and I hope
- 3:02Speaker 1: your car te cells get there. And finally this, Hey, lords,
- 3:05Speaker 1: maybe this is more of a look around than a
- 3:07Speaker 1: must go. When I stop for gas in my little
- 3:09Speaker 1: Chevy Spark, people often ask me, is that electric? Yeah,
- 3:13Speaker 1: I just like to douse it with gasoline every now
- 3:16Speaker 1: and then. As Bill Engvall would say, here's your sign
- 3:21Speaker 1: carry all right.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I got this one from my wife. Things the Musco
- 3:26Speaker 2: faulty automatic windshield wipers that sense the one tiny rain
- 3:31Speaker 2: drop that hits my windshield, which makes the wipers turn on.
- 3:35Speaker 2: It streaks across making the squeaky sound wearing out my wipers.
- 3:40Speaker 2: All right, This one from Pat things the Musco not
- 3:44Speaker 2: being able to see the lines on.
- 3:46Speaker 1: The road when it rains.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Yeah, and people just pretending they know where the lines are.
- 3:52Speaker 2: So instead of two lanes each way, we now have
- 3:54Speaker 2: three each way. Please use reflective or glowing the dark
- 3:58Speaker 2: paint please, I agree, Kelly of Eagle Mountain. What must
- 4:06Speaker 2: go is the overthinking I did during the grammatical section
- 4:09Speaker 2: of the show when Carrie said, slippery is two syllables,
- 4:15Speaker 2: slippery is three if you don't say it the Utah way. There,
- 4:18Speaker 2: I got it out of my system. See that's what
- 4:19Speaker 2: I was doing. Yes, I was saying it the Utah
- 4:21Speaker 2: pronouncement slippery, but it's not.
- 4:24Speaker 1: It's no, it's slippery, is it?
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yeah, slippery, But I was doing the Utah pronunciation. All right,
- 4:32Speaker 2: Peter Bill Bryant here with my thing that must go.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I don't like going through drive throughs because I drive
- 4:37Speaker 2: a big truck and it doesn't fit well. I prefer
- 4:40Speaker 2: to go inside. But on the rare occasion that I
- 4:42Speaker 2: do go through the drive through. The point is to
- 4:45Speaker 2: make it quick. Otherwise I would go inside. The thing
- 4:48Speaker 2: that must go is when I go through the drive
- 4:50Speaker 2: through pay for my order, then they tell me to
- 4:53Speaker 2: go around the building and park in front of the
- 4:55Speaker 2: doors for my order to come out. Kind of defeats
- 4:59Speaker 2: the purpose because I would have just gotten out and
- 5:01Speaker 2: gone inside. I'm finding this more frequent and it must go.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Maybe uh not have the big truck. Just a thought anyway.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Tristan has one that says you can use my name
- 5:17Speaker 2: if you want to. When I leave one innocent comment
- 5:20Speaker 2: on a post and suddenly I'm handed a full blown
- 5:23Speaker 2: application to join a group. I don't want to join
- 5:28Speaker 2: a community. I'm not looking for new friends. I'm not
- 5:30Speaker 2: here for the other five thousand posts about sour doughs,
- 5:33Speaker 2: starters or neighborhood coyotes. I just had one thought about it.
- 5:37Speaker 2: One post. That's it. If commenting requires a membership, interview,
- 5:41Speaker 2: a blood oath, and agreeing to the bylaws, maybe stop
- 5:44Speaker 2: showing me these posts from groups that I'm not in.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Let me comment and go, no initiation ceremony required. Thank you, Tristan.
- 5:53Speaker 3: This is so weird because this came up last night
- 5:55Speaker 3: and my husband said you should do this on things
- 5:57Speaker 3: that must go, and we got the exact thing from
- 6:00Speaker 3: John in Orum, who says things that must go. When
- 6:04Speaker 3: people are trying to tell you have a great day,
- 6:06Speaker 3: why do they feel it necessary to inject the words
- 6:09Speaker 3: rest of have a great rest of your day, as
- 6:11Speaker 3: if it needs to be some sort of clarification that
- 6:13Speaker 3: they're referencing this specific period of time that is just say,
- 6:17Speaker 3: hope you have a great day, rest of your day.
- 6:20Speaker 3: My husband agrees with you, John, somebody agrees with me.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Frying other foods in the same oil you cook your
- 6:26Speaker 3: fish in that makes it all taste like fish. That
- 6:29Speaker 3: must go when happens so much when people say I
- 6:33Speaker 3: love that for you, it comes out snotty in mind, I.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Love that for you, not for me.
- 6:40Speaker 3: A healthy food being more expensive than not healthy food
- 6:44Speaker 3: must go. Companies making mascara wand brushes larger and larger
- 6:49Speaker 3: so that you get mascara on your eyelid, your hair,
- 6:52Speaker 3: et cetera. A larger wand doesn't make larger, longer last lashes. Also,
- 6:57Speaker 3: people getting black whisk broom fake lashes, and bill making
- 7:01Speaker 3: fun of people's names. It's not their fault. They didn't
- 7:03Speaker 3: have a choice in the matter. Thank you for being
- 7:05Speaker 3: the best radio talk show, no other one comes close.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Who is that from?
- 7:10Speaker 3: They didn't leave a name.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You're afraid i'd make fun I probably made fun of it.
- 7:14Speaker 3: And finally this people will go to a restaurant that
- 7:16Speaker 3: doesn't have a dress code, no matter how nice it is,
- 7:19Speaker 3: and complain about how other people are dressed. I understand
- 7:22Speaker 3: wanting to go to a restaurant with a certain atmosphere,
- 7:24Speaker 3: but if there's no required dress code, then it shouldn't
- 7:27Speaker 3: matter what other people are wearing. Just ster at your
- 7:29Speaker 3: husband lovingly and move on. Thanks for letting me listen, Dan, that.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Sounds like somebody who's given up.
- 7:36Speaker 1: That's my pseudonym. By the way, Dan Dan, I said, thanks.
- 7:43Speaker 1: That must go on the radio
- 7:47Speaker 3: Show.
