Mega Edition: A Look Back At The Ghislaine Maxwell Trial (Part 1) (7/11/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to the Epstein Chronicles. Yesterday
0:07
mark day one of the Galaine Maxwell trial, and I
0:11
have to tell you I was caught a bit off guard.
0:15
I wasn't expecting Larry big Dog Vasasky to be put
0:20
on the stand right away like that. I figured there
0:23
would be some opening statements from both sides and then
0:26
we'd get into the meat and the potatoes, a little
0:28
bit of the meat on the bone in the coming days.
0:33
But they got right to it yesterday. And Larry Vassasky
0:38
is a major cock within the Epstein realm. He was
0:43
Epstein's pilot. He was flying all of these people all
0:48
over the world, and obviously, according to him, he'll tell
0:52
you that he didn't know who was on all of
0:55
those flights, especially the domestic ones. But you have to
1:00
think that the government believes that he has something to
1:03
add if they're calling him as their first witness. And
1:07
it also makes me wonder if he cuts some kind
1:10
of deal with the government. Now, again, there's zero evidence
1:16
that Larry Vasosky was ever going to be indicted or
1:20
anything like that, but it's pretty interesting that he's working
1:24
with the government here. I mean, we're talking about a
1:28
guy that Jeffrey Epstein gave a plot of land to
1:31
right over there in his own ranch down in Stanley.
1:36
And when I went down there to New Mexico, it
1:39
is almost hard to explain just how vast this property
1:44
is and just how desolate this property is. Jeffrey Epstein
1:51
set up a nice little home away from home down
1:54
there at Zoro Ranch, and the things he was doing
1:58
down there were very secretive, right, It wasn't something that
2:01
was well publicized. There was a reason he chose that
2:06
spot in New Mexico. I mean, obviously one of the
2:09
reasons is the age of consent there, but there were
2:13
other reasons why Jeffrey Epstein chose New Mexico. And the
2:18
fact that he was able to get away with the
2:22
things he was able to get away with in New
2:25
Mexico is just mind boggling to me. But the point is,
2:30
you don't give somebody a big fat chunk of land
2:33
in a place that you're hoping to keep relatively private
2:37
or at the very least under a shroud of secrecy,
2:41
a piece of land there if you don't trust them.
2:44
So my question is what enticed him to offer up
2:48
information for the government. Now Again, I don't have any
2:54
lead saying that he had a profit agreement or he
2:58
was in any jeopardy of being indicted. But I just
3:00
find it interesting that he is talking with the government now,
3:04
and not only just talking with the government obviously, but
3:06
taking the stand as a government witness. Usually that kind
3:11
of thing doesn't just happen organically, right. The government is uh,
3:17
you know, they find ways to get people to do
3:20
what they want them to do. Especially if you have
3:23
something that might be criminal hanging over your head, they
3:26
will definitely leverage that, they'll use it in their favor,
3:30
and they'll get you moving in a direction that they
3:33
want you to move in. So the Larry Vosasky on
3:37
the stand, it's definitely very interesting. But as I ruminated
3:42
on it last night and I let it marinate, I
3:44
had some more questions, right, like did he get a
3:48
profer agreement, Is he working with the government because he
3:52
doesn't want to be charged himself, or did they just
3:57
turn him as a witness. So it's going to be
4:01
very interesting to see all of the details, right, all
4:03
of the specifics as we move forward, And with something
4:07
like this a trial, a case with just so much information,
4:11
it's going to be very fluid. Things are going to
4:14
happen quickly, and things are going to happen on a
4:18
daily basis. Every single time that you have this jury
4:21
impaneled and the trial going on, you're going to have,
4:25
you know, significant things coming out of those sessions. So
4:31
getting right off to a jump with Larry Vassoski as
4:36
a witness number one, it just tells me that there's
4:40
going to be some more surprises coming down the old
4:43
shoot here. And I'm very curious to see who else
4:47
the government offers up as witnesses. And on the flip
4:52
side of that, I'm wondering who the defense is going
4:56
to pony up as a witness. Besides, they're paid for specialists.
5:00
Are they going to have anyone show up and you know,
5:06
Polish Glane Maxwell's reputation. Is anyone going to step into
5:11
that box and say, hey, look, Glan Maxwell's a good person.
5:14
She didn't do this and I think that she's innocent. Now,
5:19
I haven't heard that they're gonna have anybody up there
5:21
to do that, but you would think, right if you're
5:25
the defense, one thing you want to do is try
5:27
to establish that your client has, you know, as a
5:30
person of character is somebody who this is below and
5:34
somebody who would never engage in behavior like this. And
5:37
if your client is somebody like that, it stands to
5:40
reason that you'd be able to find a few people
5:43
that are willing to, you know, go on the record
5:46
and testify that she's a good person or that she's
5:50
somebody of upstanding character. So I'm interested to see what
5:56
sort of trick the Maxwell team pulls out of their
5:59
hat when it comes to establishing her as a credible
6:03
person or somebody who should be believed, because you know
6:08
that the prosecution is they're coming hard. Obviously, if Vasaski's
6:14
the first witness, you gotta think that there's gonna be
6:17
a litany of people trotting up to that box that
6:20
have damning statements about Glene Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein and
6:24
the way they were conducting themselves. And who better situated
6:30
than the guy that was flying them all around the world. Now,
6:35
last night I updated and I uploaded an episode about
6:39
the other pilot that was brought up at this trial.
6:42
David Rodgers, you might want to check that out as well.
6:45
But with Larry Vassoski taking the stand here, it's pretty
6:49
significant for those of us who have been following the
6:51
case especially. I was talking with some of my colleagues
6:55
who follow the case yesterday and it was pretty much
6:59
an animous consensus that, you know, this is probably going
7:05
to lead us to even more explosive witnesses hitting that stant.
7:09
So I'm very interested to see where things go today,
7:12
and I'm interested to see what sort of strategy the
7:17
defense is going to use when it comes to cross
7:21
examining Larry Vassoski. We can definitely expect more of ASASKI
7:28
today and you know, we'll see what comes of it.
7:32
But I think it's very very interesting that he was
7:35
the first witness, and I think it's going to be
7:38
interesting to see how it all breaks down from here.
7:43
So today, what we're going to do is we're going
7:47
to take a look at some of the headlines from
7:49
overnight and yeah, take a look at what's going on.
7:53
We have a headline over here from Slate and this
7:57
is an article that was published by Seth Stevenson. On
8:03
the headline, Glenn Maxwell's trial opens with her lawyer diving
8:07
straight into the muck and he goes into what's going
8:11
on like outside of the courthouse and all of that
8:14
jazz from the article. Outside the Thurgood Marshall Federal Courthouse
8:18
in Lower Manhattan this morning, the media throng assembled to
8:21
cover day one of the Glene Maxwell trial. Print reporters,
8:25
newsletter writers, podcasters, and television crews coalesced into the strangely
8:30
glamorous frenzy that seems to accompany the launch of every
8:35
high profile criminal proceeding. Now. The reason I bring this
8:38
headline up is I talk a lot about how it's
8:42
Carnival Barker City right now, and you're definitely seeing it
8:47
out in front of the courthouse. There are people of
8:50
all stripes showing up and making their voices heard, and
8:56
you know, you have a lot of misinformed people as well.
9:00
But one thing is very apparent to me, and it
9:03
is that there is a lot of anger on both
9:09
sides of the political fence, and it's not very often
9:12
that you see that. Now. Of course, there are the
9:15
yahoos that are using this as a political cudgel to
9:19
beat their political opponents over the head. And I'd be
9:23
very cautious of any of these pundits that are talking
9:27
about this case from either side of the conversation. I'd
9:30
be very cautious about what sort of rhetoric they're spinning
9:35
towards you, because this is much bigger than that. This
9:39
is so much bigger than Republican and Democrat, This is
9:42
so much bigger than left and right. You have to
9:46
understand that this was people at all levers of power
9:50
from both parties who were enabling this and facilitating this
9:56
for decades. To try and pin it on one party
10:01
or the other is a great disservice to those who
10:05
were actually abused by this scumbag. So while the circus
10:09
like atmosphere is to be expected, I think that it
10:13
is one of the most gross ways to go about
10:15
things when you're using this as a political cudgel. Now,
10:19
of course there's a political angle to it, right, Definitely.
10:22
A lot of the people involved had ties to politicians
10:25
or were politicians themselves. But it's very apparent when someone's
10:31
trying to harness this as a political weapon, and I
10:37
would just caution you to be very very aware of that.
10:42
He goes on to say, I've seen it before. It
10:44
always starts this way in mystery and frision, and it
10:47
always ends in the squalor. That's the reality of crime,
10:54
no matter the trial when it comes to a high
10:57
profile one, it's always going to have a cast of characters, right,
11:02
So I just it's one of those things where I
11:05
just I witness and I observe and shake my head.
11:11
You know, you have like like he says here, When
11:13
Michael Jackson's trial for child sexual abuse charges was getting underway,
11:17
the media revved up to cover the bizarre tale of
11:20
an eccentric global superstar, and then the trial began and
11:25
we met a dim, lonely drunk who liked to show
11:28
porno maags to little boys. So I guess what he's
11:32
trying to say here in this article is the perception
11:35
of what a trial is going to be and then
11:38
the reality of it are usually two very very different things,
11:43
and I think we'll see a lot of that in
11:44
this case as well. There are a lot of misinformed
11:47
people when it comes to the Jeffrey Epstein case, the
11:50
Glaine Maxwell trial and all of the players on the stage,
11:55
and hopefully when we're done here on the podcast, we
11:58
can try and clear a little bit of that up.
12:01
And my suggestion would be to all of you out
12:04
there who are new to this case, who have just
12:06
found the Glenn Maxwell trial or have just gotten interested
12:09
in this. I would suggest that you go on to
12:12
social media and you seek out some of the survivors
12:17
from this case and follow them on social media and
12:20
listen to them in their own words. That way, there's
12:24
no background noise, there's no middleman. And one thing that
12:29
these survivors did that was pretty much groundbreaking was they
12:34
skipped the legacy media and they went directly to social media,
12:39
to independent content creators and independent journalists to get the
12:43
story out. And once there was such a swell from
12:47
all of you people out there who have been following
12:49
this case, they were forced to act right. And it's
12:53
been pretty crazy to watch it all unfold because it
13:01
has been time and time again where not only were
13:07
these girls women victimized by Jeffrey Epstein and allegedly Maxwell,
13:15
but by our very own justice system, by the people
13:19
who were put in place to make sure that the
13:21
most vulnerable amongst us are protected. Those very people failed
13:26
these girls. And you heard it yesterday in the trial,
13:30
and it's something I've been punching home for a long time. Here.
13:34
They chose girls from broken homes, girls who come from
13:40
low income families, girls who don't have as many prospects
13:43
on the horizon, and they specifically search these kinds of
13:47
girls out, And that just makes it even more draconian
13:51
to me. As if it's not hard enough being broke,
13:57
being poor, coming from a broken home, now you have
14:00
this multi hundred million dollar predator and his co associate,
14:07
his underboss bringing you in to groom you and molest you.
14:11
And it's absolutely horrendous to think about. And the fact
14:16
that they preyed on the most vulnerable amongst us, it
14:19
just makes me so mad. I really dislike bullies, and
14:25
I really like people who punched down. I really dislike
14:27
people who punched down. And Jeffrey Epstein was all of that,
14:32
and Gleanne Maxwell, she went right along with it. She
14:35
was right there making decisions with them and helping him
14:39
facilitate all of this, according to multiple multiple survivors. He
14:48
goes on to say that he suspects that the trial
14:50
of Glenn Maxwell, who stands accused of helping Jeffrey Epstein
14:53
sexually abuse minors, will follow a similar similar arc to
14:57
those other trials, meaning you know, the whole entire circus atmosphere,
15:01
et cetera, et cetera. He says the media has REVVD
15:04
itself up to cover the story of a stylish, jet
15:07
setting socialite who broke fantastically bad. But over the coming
15:11
long courtroom days, chances are will hear less about how
15:14
she graduated from Oxford, speaks several languages and can pilot helicopters,
15:19
and more about how she allegedly took teenage girls on
15:22
Florida shopping mall excursions as a means of prepping them
15:27
form a less station. Yeah. Well, anyone who's showing up
15:30
here thinking that Glaine Maxwell is just some you know,
15:33
shrinking violet socialite, well you're in for a rude awakening,
15:38
because that is not the case. Glaine Maxwell is not that. Okay,
15:47
she knew exactly what she was getting into. Well educated lady,
15:50
comes from money, comes from power, and to think that
15:54
she was just along for the ride is absolutely ridiculous.
16:00
And you know, again, when we talk about the overall
16:05
atmosphere around this trial, oh there's going to be some wildness,
16:09
there's no doubt about it, and there's going to be
16:13
a ton of carnival barkers and a ton of disinformation agents.
16:19
But one thing that is going to be constant. One
16:22
thing that you can guarantee is the profile that's going
16:26
to be painted of Glenn Maxwell is going to be
16:29
less than flattering by the prosecution. And not only that,
16:34
but those assertions, well, they're going to be backed up
16:39
by evidence and the statements from the survivors themselves. So
16:48
it's going to be a very very interesting few weeks
16:54
to see which way Maxwell's team goes with all of this.
16:57
Now we already know that they're strat so far has
17:01
been to come out and blame the girls basically right
17:08
saying that you know, Maxwell was a just someone who
17:13
was around for Epstein's run. She didn't have anything to
17:16
do with it. And you know the girls are liars.
17:19
They're really above the age of consent. So you know
17:23
how it goes. This is the typical defense when you
17:27
see a case like this. You know, they try and
17:32
impune the reputation of the accusers. They try and set
17:36
them up as if they're money hungry or they're prostitutes
17:40
or whatever it may be. But it's the age that
17:43
they've been doing this forever. It's like when you're in
17:45
the NFL and you fire your coach and you think
17:48
it's a good idea to bring in Wade Wilson again, Bro,
17:52
why are you bringing in the same guy with the
17:55
same playbook? And that's what the Maxwell team is doing here.
17:59
And I've been pretty steadfast in my opinion that it's
18:02
not going to work out. You're not gonna paint Maxwell's escapegoat.
18:07
She's not a stand in for Epstein's crimes, none of that.
18:12
And I really hope that the prosecution punches at home now. Again,
18:17
not very confident in the prosecution in America. The prosecutors
18:22
in America. When they're going after high profile people. Oh sure,
18:26
when the federal authorities are going after you or me,
18:29
it's a home run for them, right slam dunk City.
18:32
But when they're going after their own friends, the other
18:35
members of so called elite society, terry usually turns out
18:39
a little bit different, doesn't it. But hopefully there's enough
18:45
interest and enough anger around this case that they can't
18:50
pull any of those nonsensical moves that they usually like
18:53
to pull. So I hope that the prosecution continues to
19:00
beat home the fact that Glen Maxwell was not a
19:02
passenger on this ship. She wasn't just somebody who was
19:07
stowing away. She was in fact piloting the ship. Sometimes
19:12
she was in the navigation room. She knew how the
19:15
engine worked, and she certainly most certainly knew what was
19:23
going on, and for her to set it up as
19:27
if she had no idea what was going on, you
19:30
know that she was just completely taken off guard by
19:33
what happened. Here is just an absolute ridiculous leap that
19:39
they're asking people to take, and I honestly doubt anyone's
19:43
going to be willing to take that leap. So there
19:49
you have it, folks for the morning. Now, trial's getting
19:54
ready or is back underway as we speak. It's six
19:57
am here in Las Vegas as this episode about to
20:00
be dropped, so we got a whole day ahead of us.
20:04
We're gonna keep an eye on things. I'm pretty much
20:07
locked into the studio watching the the live streams happen
20:11
with the updates, live updates, not phone or you know,
20:15
digital or anything like that. But there's a lot of
20:17
live threads on like Twitter from Inner City Press. Adam
20:21
Klasfeld has a real good live feed that he's been doing,
20:25
so I'll be following those all day and preparing to
20:28
come back tonight and do a wrap up show and
20:31
talk about what occurred. Throughout the day and the trial
20:34
and what if any surprises or curveballs or thrown our way.

21:05
All right, everybody, I'll be back later on. Hope you
21:07
all have a great day. What's up everyone, and welcome
21:11
back to the Epstein Chronicles. Day four of the Gallaine
21:15
Maxwell trial is about to get underway, and I expect
21:20
another day of the defense trying to demean the credibility
21:26
of witnesses brought to the stand by the prosecution. They
21:30
have revealed their hand. They have shown us the way
21:33
that they're going to go about this, and it is
21:37
pretty much par for the course of what I expected.
21:42
When you look at Gallaine Maxwell's legal team throughout this
21:45
whole entire ordeal and how this strategy started to unfold,
21:50
it was very obvious that they were going to go
21:52
after a the memories of the accusers and B try
21:56
and demean their credibility. Leading up to this trial, all
22:02
of the motions and all of the different proceedings that
22:06
went on, we cataloged them here on the podcast and
22:09
talked about them as they were happening. So what I'm
22:12
going to do is I'm going to repost some of
22:14
those considering there are a ton of new listeners lately,
22:18
and I'm guessing that most of you are not familiar
22:22
with the whole catalog of my work, so I feel
22:25
like it's relevant to go back and take a look
22:27
at how we got here. So what I'm going to
22:30
do is later today, I'm going to post a few
22:32
episodes of the proceedings leading up to the actual trial,
22:38
some of the bail requests, some of the other complaints
22:42
that Maxwell had, and you'll start to see how the
22:45
strategy was coming into view. They were setting the groundwork
22:50
for it, basically, And last night, after I got done
22:55
recording the Evening Update, I went back and listened to
22:59
a few of those episodes, and it was apparent then
23:04
right that they were going to set up this strategy
23:06
to move forward this way, But it wasn't as glaring
23:11
as it is now that we have some hindsight to
23:13
look back with it on, because there is no way
23:20
that Glene Maxwell and her attorneys think that they're going
23:24
to be able to win this as far as on
23:28
evidence based court work, right. They know that the evidence
23:33
is piled against them. That's just a fact. All you
23:37
have to do is look at the circumstantial evidence that
23:39
we have seen so far. Now we've already had the
23:42
one accuser on the stand telling her story about the
23:47
abuse that she suffered at the hands of Maxwell and Epstein,
23:52
and unfortunately we're going to hear more of that. And
23:57
for a lot of people, it's shocking. A lot of
23:59
people really have no idea the scope of what went
24:02
on here. And I have received so many emails in
24:06
the last couple of days about this case. People were
24:09
so unaware and leading up to this, I called people
24:12
who weren't aware of this case the unsullied, meaning that
24:17
you had not been corroded with this disgustingness yet. But
24:23
once you get a little look at what Epstein was
24:25
up to, and you look at all of the different
24:27
levels of power that were being pulled by all the
24:30
different players on the stage, it's hard not to dive
24:34
headfirst into this story. And become addicted because there was
24:40
a great wrong done here, folks, a great wrong to
24:44
a great number of people. And the girls that have
24:50
come forward, the survivors who have come forward to steal
24:53
the narrative from the legacy media and bring it directly
24:56
to you, the people, they're just the tip of the iceberg,
25:00
because what happened here is so heinous and so overwhelmingly
25:05
disgusting that I have no idea how it hasn't been
25:12
the biggest story in the news for three years, and
25:14
I truly mean that it has all of the elements
25:20
of the things that want to make you vomit. And finally,
25:29
starting on Monday, we got to the trial portion of it,
25:32
and it's being bared for everybody to see an open court.
25:37
You know, it's one thing when you read an article
25:39
about what happened to these girls. It's one thing when
25:41
you know you hear a reporter or me talk about it.
25:45
It's a whole different story to hear it from their
25:47
mouths themselves, to hear it from the survivors themselves. And
25:52
that's why I have one of my biggest things throughout
25:55
this whole investigation for the last two and a half years,
25:57
that I've been doing here is so listen directly to
26:01
what the survivors have to say and not to any
26:03
of the other noise. I don't need a reporter to
26:08
tell me what happened. If the survivor is going to
26:10
tell me her story, right, I prefer to go directly
26:13
to the source and not play a game of telephone
26:16
if possible. And the survivors what they did was they
26:22
pulled an end around on the legacy media because the
26:25
legacy media was complicit in protecting Jeffrey Epstein. Now that
26:29
doesn't mean every reporter, right when I say the legacy media,
26:32
I'm talking about the big shots. So they pulled the
26:37
old end around, and that's how we got where we
26:42
are basically, if I'm being real, because if not, if
26:45
they waited for the legacy media to bring their story
26:47
to the people, to you, we would have been here forever.
26:54
And now that we're at the trial portion of it,
26:57
it's really disturbing to hear the actual situation that these
27:04
girls were in the stories right from their lips in
27:08
open court. It's heartbreaking and I don't know how anyone
27:12
can read the testimony or hear about what happened to
27:16
them and not just be mortified first and then absolutely
27:21
pissed off afterwards. There is no scenario where a guy
27:26
like Jeffrey Epstein and his partner in crime, Glene Maxwell,
27:30
should be able to conduct this sort of behavior for decades.
27:37
And it's it's crazy to me that this story hasn't
27:42
been the number one story for the past few years. Now,
27:47
obviously it's starting to make that turn. Right, you have
27:50
people coming out of the woodwork who are interested in
27:53
this story now, and I say, that's a good thing.
27:57
I have zero problem going over ground. We all already
28:00
covered to try and you know, catch people up, because
28:04
at the end of the day, that's the whole point, right,
28:07
get as many people aware of what's going on as
28:09
possible so that we can work together to force our
28:13
politicians or those in power to change things and to
28:17
hold people accountable because we know they're not going to
28:21
do it on their own right. They're gonna need a
28:24
little nudge from us. And until something becomes this heinous
28:28
and this in their face, they usually don't make a move.
28:33
But once in a while they're embarrassed meeting the federal
28:36
government's embarrassed so much by they're inaction they're forced to
28:39
take action. And we saw it with R. Kelly. How
28:42
long did it take to bring him to heal? Wasn't
28:45
there accusations of him urinating on some little girl back
28:49
in the day that just got swept under the rug? Right,
28:51
got a lot of power, a lot of money, you
28:53
can make that happen. How long was Keith Rainiery able
28:56
to run around with his Nexium cult and brand women?
29:04
But once this stuff gets out there, and once the population,
29:08
the people you hear about it, it becomes a whole
29:11
different ballgame, and then all of a sudden, the authorities,
29:14
well now they want to act. And frankly, I'm pretty
29:19
tired of it. I've seen the pattern now for three years.
29:22
It's the same story inside of a story, and it's
29:26
just happens over and over and over again on repeat
29:31
until recently, anyway, saw R. Kelly go to prison, perfect,
29:35
Keith Rainiery prison perfect. Now just waiting on Glen Maxwell
29:40
to get her taste as well. And like R. Kelly,
29:44
like Keith Rayniery, she's getting a trial. She's going to
29:47
be able to sit in front of a jury of
29:48
her peers, and that's something that her victims alleged victims.
29:52
They didn't have that ability right. They didn't get to
29:55
choose if they wanted to be abused by Epstein and Maxwell.
30:00
They didn't get to plead their case before they were abused.
30:05
But Maxwell, she's getting her trial, she's getting treated as
30:08
fairly as any other prisoner. To dispel the myths and
30:11
the rumors about her unfair treatment in jail, that's a
30:14
bunch of bs. People like her always in solitary confinement.
30:21
It's called the shoe. They put them in special housing.
30:24
That way they're not abused and beat up by the
30:27
other inmates. And that's when you're not famous and you're
30:30
a pedophile. When you're rich and famous and you've touched children,
30:34
forget it, you have a green light put on you
30:36
right away. And her legal team throughout this whole entire
30:42
fiasco has been very adamant that her being in solitary
30:45
confinement has been akin to some sort of brutal punishment
30:50
that you would have only found in the Middle Ages,
30:52
when in reality it's nothing like that. But you see,
30:56
that was her strategy the whole way through folks loopholes
30:59
and technicalities. Loopholes and technicalities, and when you have the
31:04
kind of money that Glene Maxwell has, it's easy to
31:07
litigate people into oblivion. So we saw that throughout the
31:11
years as well, just the specter of their power keeping
31:14
people in line. But yesterday the testimony of Jane was
31:20
backed up by Matt. And my assessment of that is
31:24
if I was on the jury, which I am not,
31:26
and obviously I can't project because I don't know what
31:29
the jury is thinking, but if I was on the jury,
31:32
I personally would take Matt's account very seriously. He has
31:37
nothing to gain by backing up Jane's account here. There's
31:42
nothing on the table for him. In fact, he's doing
31:44
this at great risk of his own, you know, a
31:47
well being for those of you who are not aware.
31:51
You know, the remnants of Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise nowhere
31:55
near as powerful as when Epstein was alive and kicking
31:59
and they were getting up protected from on high. But
32:01
these are still very powerful people with a lot of money,
32:04
and a lot of people are not willing to speak
32:07
out against them. So Matt coming forward yesterday on the
32:11
stand and speaking out against Glane in defense of what
32:16
Jane said and corroborating what she said, I think it's
32:19
going to go a long way with the jury. I
32:21
think it's going to be a relatively big deal, and
32:24
I think that the jury is looking at this case
32:30
and obviously looking at all of the facts, and when
32:33
you do, it's rather obvious that Maxwell and Epstein were
32:39
certainly up to no good. And the more of these
32:43
witnesses that we see come up on the stand, and
32:46
the more of them that go into the details of
32:49
what occurred, the more heinous it's going to become, and
32:52
the more difficult it's going to become for Team Maxwell
32:55
to spin their way out of it. And remember that
32:59
was only the first testimony of the first witness. There
33:05
are three more accusers that are gonna get on that stand,
33:07
and I'm sure there's going to be some other surprises
33:09
for us that we don't know about. So after day three,
33:17
I mean, look, Maxwell's lawyer, Meninger, was very shrewd yesterday
33:22
and her line of questioning was very targeted. They stayed
33:26
on the path that they have laid out for themselves
33:29
and they didn't deviate, and she asked some pretty brutal
33:33
questions that were cringe worthy in my opinion. Now, I
33:36
get it, it's her job, right, She's a lawyer. She
33:38
has to, you know, try and defend her client. But
33:41
it made me feel dirty listening to it. I can't
33:43
even imagine being a lawyer and defending people like this.
33:47
I get it. Look, everybody deserves a lawyer in the
33:50
United States of America, no matter how scummy you are. Right,
33:54
that's just the way it goes. Because once we start
33:56
taking rules away for some, that means the rules for
33:59
all of us. It could be in jeopardy. So everybody
34:02
deserves a lawyer, right now, That's about as far as
34:06
it goes for me. Once you get that lawyer, then great,
34:08
then you know everything is as it should be. And
34:13
I hope your fate is sealed after that. And usually
34:16
when you have a heinous crime, it doesn't matter how
34:18
good the lawyer is, as long as the evidence holds up.
34:22
And I think that's what we're looking at here, folks.
34:24
I think that when all is said and done, we're
34:27
going to see the evidence hold up, we're going to
34:29
see the testimony hold up, and we're going to see
34:34
the real, disgusting, true face of Glenn Maxwell and Jeffrey
34:39
Epstein completely revealed. You know, it's crazy to me to
34:44
think that there's people out there that still are in
34:46
the mentality that this is a money grab. This isn't
34:49
your typical he said, She said case, there is no
34:53
gray area here for me anyway. And again, I might
34:56
be cynical. I've spent a lot of time digging into
34:59
this story, and I'm not a journalist, right, I'm regular
35:03
guy like most of you out there. I just happened
35:06
to have a bigger mouth. But when I started digging
35:09
into this story and looking at all of the evidence
35:12
and all of the facts, it was just almost impossible
35:16
for me to believe that this did not occur, that
35:19
these girls were not abused. And the mindset that it's
35:26
all about money, that it's all about money all the time,
35:31
is just gross to me. What if this was your sister,
35:34
or your mom, or your aunt or someone you loved,
35:37
would you say, oh, it's all just about the money.
35:39
Then we got to remember that these are real people,
35:43
not just names on a page or somebody being called
35:46
out in the media. These are real people who have
35:49
real emotions and feelings, who have suffered greatly at the
35:52
hands of Jeffrey Epstein and his criminal enterprise. And for
35:58
them to come back and read live this all again
36:01
on the stand and going through all of this again,
36:04
it's a big deal, and it just shines a light
36:06
on their courage once again. I've never seen a group
36:11
of more courageous people. And that's not hyperbole. The abuse
36:16
that these ladies have to suffer, you know, is just
36:20
out of control. And I don't mean just at the
36:22
hands of Epstein and Maxwell, the complete assaults on their
36:27
character for years and years and years at least until recently.
36:32
And how many times do you hear oh prostitute, this
36:34
prostitute that breaking news. Children can't be prostitutes. Okay, they
36:38
can't consent, so how can a child be a prostitute?
36:44
But now in open court, these accusers, they have their
36:50
chance to look Alane Maxwell in the eye and say
36:53
to her what you did to me ruin my life,
36:55
and I'm here to make sure you get a little
36:57
taste of justice. And obviously it's not what we all want.
37:02
It's not far enough, right, it's not far enough. Anyone
37:05
who sits here and says that up just getting Maxwell
37:07
that's enough, Well, they don't know what they're talking about. Now,
37:11
it's a step in the right direction. I'm not going
37:13
to sit here and downplay the fact that Maxwell's sitting
37:15
in a jail cell or Jean Luke Brunell is sitting
37:18
in a jail cell in France. It's a big deal.
37:20
When I first started covering this case, none of these
37:23
people were suffering any of the consequences. They all had
37:26
their positions of power that were all still running around
37:28
running companies, and now most of the key participants that's
37:32
not the case. But it still does not go far enough.
37:37
I don't want to rock the boat, folks, I want
37:39
to destroy this MF. Enough is enough with people like this.
37:48
The way that they abuse the most vulnerable in society
37:51
is just on another level wrong. It's not bad enough
37:58
that these people ruin lives on a regular basis with
38:01
their decision making, but now they have to give cover
38:05
to their buddies who are running trafficking rings as well.
38:13
And frankly, for myself, and I only speak for myself,
38:16
I have had a belly full of all of it,
38:19
a belly full of all the lying, all the bsing,
38:22
and certainly I've had enough of people like Epstein and
38:26
Maxwell being able to just do whatever they want and
38:30
granted carte blanche when they do it. I've never been
38:36
somebody who called for vigilante justice. Not my thing. I'm
38:39
somebody who wants the criminal system reformed. I want violent,
38:44
I mean nonviolent offenders to have a real chance at rehabilitation.
38:48
And I honestly agree with Maxwell about how screwed up
38:52
the jails are. But that said, I don't have empathy
38:55
for her because now that she's in that position, she
38:59
has to deal with it. Where were you when Khalif
39:01
Browder was in Rikers Island? Where were you when insert
39:05
poor person's name here was suffering at the hands of
39:08
the state. So typical for a rich person like Maxwell
39:14
until it's her issue, right till she's the one walking
39:16
in the shoes it Does you really think that she
39:19
ever thought about prison reform while she's eating her caviat
39:22
and running around with Epstein grooming children. I'm sure that's
39:26
what she was thinking about criminal reform. But that's another
39:31
one of her lines, another one of her things that
39:34
she's been pumping while she's been in jail, when in reality,
39:37
we all know the score, we all know the scoop,
39:46
the absolute assault that we have seen on the survivors
39:51
by Maxwell and her people. We saw just continued and
39:55
picked up in the courtroom. Now today we're going to
40:00
be starting off the proceedings with the witness from interlock In,
40:05
the executive us vs In or whatever his name was,
40:10
So they'll finish off with him as the first witness,
40:13
and then we'll move on to the rest of the
40:15
witness list. I'm not really too sure who else they're
40:18
going to call today. I was looking around earlier last
40:21
night and this morning, and I couldn't find a list
40:24
of witnesses. So we'll have to play it by ear
40:27
But in the studio, I'm ready to go. I got
40:30
the computer locked in, I got the TV monitor on
40:33
the wall connected to the other computer to watch the
40:36
h the actual proceedings as they're happening, as far as
40:40
the transcript's coming out from Inner City Press and Adam
40:43
Klasfeld and a few others. Make sure you're following all
40:46
of these people on Twitter if you're looking to catch
40:48
this stuff as it's happening. Now. I get it, a
40:51
lot of people don't like Twitter. I am a lot
40:53
of people not a big fan. I don't really comment
40:56
too much on there, you know. I I'm on here
40:59
on the podcast with you folks like for an hour
41:01
and a half a day. What more can I possibly
41:03
say on Twitter in one hundred and forty characters? Right, So,
41:07
if you're into twittering or tweeting or whatever the hell
41:10
you kids call it these days, I definitely suggest following
41:13
Adam Klassfeld and Inner City Press. Kate Bricklett from The
41:17
Daily Beast has done fantastic work here, Yeah, and there
41:22
are several other outlets where you can get some good
41:25
quality as it's happening news out of that courtroom. So tonight,
41:30
like usual, for the evening roundup, we'll go through all
41:34
of the witnesses again, We'll go through all of the testimony,
41:38
and I'll break it down and give you my opinion
41:41
on what occurred. Because it's a long windy road, isn't it, folks.
41:49
And if we weren't getting these transcripts out by people
41:53
like the guys over at Inner City Press or Adam Klassfeld,
41:56
we have to rely on a recap basically from the media,
42:01
And I for one am glad that we do not
42:04
have to rely on that, that we have actual people
42:06
in there just giving it to us as it's coming out.
42:09
And that's the way I prefer it, right, I prefer
42:11
raw data, and in this instance, raw testimony. I don't
42:16
need anybody to spice it up for me and make
42:21
it digestible. So that's what we'll be doing tonight. And
42:25
like I said, I'm gonna upload a few episodes about
42:28
how we got here, some of the proceedings that have
42:31
taken place obviously in the past, some of the other
42:35
courtroom procedures, and obviously I'll be uploading some more context
42:40
episodes as well. I have a catalog of over like
42:43
sixteen hundred episodes, so as things pop up in this trial,
42:48
I'm gonna try and add those episodes as we go
42:50
along to add more context to the conversation. So we'll see, folks,
42:55
and I'm here for it. We'll definitely keep our eye
42:59
on what's going on today all day like usual. And
43:01
this is going to be the process for the next
43:04
five weeks or so. Now, remember the first week of January,
43:08
I'll actually be in New York covering this case for
43:11
the verdict. Now, I plan on staying in New York.
43:14
I don't know however long it takes to get the verdict,
43:17
hopefully no longer than a couple of weeks. It's freezing
43:20
in New York this time of year, but I'll be
43:23
there for the verdict and my plan is to actually
43:25
be in the courtroom on those days. So what I
43:28
will do those days that I'm in New York, I
43:31
will take my own notes, and when the proceedings end
43:35
and I get back to my hotel room, we'll get
43:38
right into it and I'll give you my breakdown on
43:40
what I saw in the court, what I felt from
43:43
the witness statements, because you can only get so much
43:46
from reading it right. It's a different ballgame when you're
43:49
actually there and you see facial expressions and stuff like that.
43:53
So I'm looking forward to actually being on the ground
43:56
to bring you, folks, the story right from the fully courthouse.
44:01
So with that said, we're gonna wrap it up for
44:03
this morning. We're about fourteen minutes from the trial starting,
44:07
so I'll let everybody get their last cup of coffee
44:10
in and then slide on over to Twitter so that
44:13
they can follow it live or head into work and
44:16
wait for later on and me to break it all down.
44:19
Either way, folks, I really appreciate you all joining me,
44:22
all of the new listeners that have found their way
44:24
to this podcast. Thank you for riding with me. I
44:27
appreciate it, and hopefully you know we all have our
44:31
seat belts buckled because this is gonna be one bumpy
44:34
ass ride, folks, but guess what we're here for it.
44:39
So I hope all of you have a great morning,
44:41
and I will be back later on tonight, right around
44:43
the same time as usual to get the recap from
44:47
the day's proceedings. If you'd like to contact me, you
44:50
can do that at Bobby Kapuchi at ProtonMail dot com.
44:54
That's b O B B y C A p U
44:57
C C I at ProtonMail dot com. You can also
45:00
find me on Twitter at Bobby underscore cap Ucci. You
45:07
can also find the links that we discussed, which are
45:10
none in this episode, but you can usually find those
45:12
in the description box. All right, everybody, Like I said,
45:15
I'll be back later on. I hope that all of
45:17
you have a great day. What's up everyone, and welcome
45:21
back to the Epstein Chronicles. So we are entering day
45:25
five of the Gallaine Maxwell trial, and today we can expect,
45:30
at least at the start for Juanna Lessi to take
45:34
the stand and receive a bit of a cross examination
45:38
from Glaine Maxwell's lawyers. Yesterday, the trial wrapped up about
45:43
thirteen minutes early because the defense didn't want to dive
45:49
in with only thirteen minutes left, so they chose to
45:53
begin their cross today instead. So that's how the trial
45:57
should open up today. Lessie back on the stand and
46:02
Glenn Maxwell's lawyers hammering away, trying to punch the holes
46:07
in his story. Now, I would guess that they're going
46:10
to lock onto the fact that Juanna Lessi clipped sixty
46:14
three hundred bucks from Jeffrey Epstein to try and hammer
46:19
home the fact to the jury that this man is unreliable,
46:22
he's a thief, and he shouldn't be trusted. And that
46:27
is definitely the kind of strategy you would expect, right
46:32
because the testimony he's giving certainly does not look good
46:37
for their client. So if they can muck that up
46:40
a little bit and maybe throw a little bit of
46:43
doubt on his character and attempt to impune who he is,
46:48
then it will make it a lot easier for them
46:52
to have the jury believing that the testimony he gave
46:54
was bs. So that's going to be the battle today
46:58
with the first witness, and I'm very interested to see
47:04
how it all shakes out because, as we've seen in
47:08
the last few days since the trial has started, at
47:11
the very least, Team Maxwell has been going scorched earth,
47:15
and I would expect them to do the same here
47:17
with Juana Lessi. But the testimony he gave yesterday, you know,
47:24
it really corroborates a lot of things we've heard in
47:26
the past. We've heard about the double sided dildos, the
47:33
cleaning up that he had to do, We've heard that
47:35
story before. We've also heard, I mean a huge amount
47:42
of stories from Virginia about the same kind of deal,
47:48
the two sided dildo, the massages being brought to the
47:51
massage room, and what it does, it adds more meat
47:55
to the bone, right, more context, and it corroborates a
47:58
lot of those things that we had heard being reported
48:02
in the news. Now, those of us who have followed
48:05
the case, we know that all of this stuff is
48:07
what really happened, right, But when it comes out here
48:10
in a courtroom setting, well, there's no disputing it anymore.
48:16
And for Virginia moving forward, this can only bode well
48:21
for her. In my opinion. It just shows that she's
48:25
been truthful throughout this whole entire thing, that her recollection
48:29
of what occurred is bang on and for with her
48:36
civil case starting January fourth, with the Joe exotic of
48:41
the Windsor family, Prince Andrew, this is definitely some wind
48:46
in the sails in my opinion, because Alessi was there
48:51
for all of it, and him recounting these things during
48:58
this testimony, it just strengthens what we already have heard
49:02
from Virginia. So I thought that that was a pretty
49:05
interesting situation to unfold from yesterday's testimony as well. Now
49:12
on the flip side of that, like I said yesterday,
49:15
I don't look at Wuana Lessie as a good guy
49:18
in this either. In fact, I don't really believe that
49:22
there are too many good people at all when it
49:25
comes to Jeffrey Epstein, and that goes for the people
49:28
who are investigating him as well. Unfortunately. But Wuanna Lessi,
49:34
he had a chance to stop this. How many times
49:36
could he have went to the authorities. How many times
49:39
have he could have, you know, maybe helped one of
49:42
these girls, but he didn't. So I'm certainly not going
49:48
to sit here and act like Juanna Lessie is, you know,
49:51
some hero in this story who came riding in on
49:54
his horse in his white shining armor to help get
49:58
some justice, because I have a sneaking suspicion that he
50:02
didn't do it of his own volition, pretty sure that
50:05
he was probably pressured by the authorities. Now again, I
50:10
don't have any evidence of that directly, right, And I can't,
50:14
you know, point you to an article and say, hey, look,
50:17
here's exactly where it is. But it would make sense,
50:21
and especially considering that Alessi was somebody who basically admits
50:28
that they were a co conspirator by picking these girls up.
50:31
And so what you mean to tell me, mister Alessi,
50:35
is that you would pick these girls up, you would
50:38
bring them back to the house, they'd do the massage
50:42
air quotes, you'd go in there, clean it up, find
50:45
dildo's and stuff, and you didn't have any idea what
50:47
was going on? Talk about not having any kind of
50:56
like the stand on with that argument, right, How could you?
50:59
What did you think was going on? So Wanna Lessi
51:04
is not somebody who I look at in this story
51:07
and say, ah, yeah, this is one of the few
51:09
people who are good guys here, one of the few
51:11
people who really cared. Because it doesn't seem like that's
51:15
the case. Now. With that said, I'm glad that he's
51:20
testifying at least better late than never, right, But they're
51:26
going to attempt to really cut him off at the
51:29
legs today. They're going to go after his his theft
51:36
of that sixty three hundred dollars. They're going to ask him,
51:39
I'm sure, some of the same questions that I just asked,
51:43
why were you taking part in this? If you thought
51:45
that this was wrong? All of that stuff, And they're
51:48
gonna look to really break him down and shatter whatever
51:53
credibility he has. Now, are they going to be able
51:58
to do that? I don't really know, but I don't
52:01
think so when it comes to these kinds of allegations.
52:06
If it was just mister Alessie making these allegations, I
52:10
could definitely see how Maxwell's legal team would be able
52:15
to just cut that off at the pass. But it's
52:19
not that. Alessie is just one of many witnesses that
52:23
is being brought forward to paint the picture of the
52:28
situation going on within Epstein's circle and how Glaiinne Maxwell
52:32
was a huge part of that. In fact, in the
52:37
testimony yesterday, he said that Glaine Maxwell came in and
52:41
she became quote unquote the lady of the house, so
52:45
she was making all of the decisions. Nobody was making
52:47
those decisions for her. And it goes to show you
52:52
again that Maxwell was in a leadership role. She was
52:58
the one making these decision about what occurred in this house.
53:02
She was the one setting up all of these different
53:07
air quotes, massages, and according to the survivors, she was
53:13
also the one participating in the abuse sometimes. So while
53:19
we're dealing with a whole host of disgusting human beings,
53:24
and that's pretty much everybody we're going to hear about
53:27
in the Jeffrey Epstein trial, I mean the Glenn Maxwell trial.
53:30
Pretty much everything where everybody we hear about is going
53:32
to be a scumbag. And the idea is going to
53:40
be to try and figure out which one of these
53:44
scumbags is really telling the truth. So that's going to
53:50
be the task for the jury and for the prosecutors
53:55
and the defense to hammer out. But so far, we
53:59
haven't seen anything from Maxwell as far as evidence. And
54:03
I don't mean in this trial, right, we have a
54:05
long way to go. I'm talking about leading up to this,
54:08
there was no big push about her innocence, or anybody
54:11
coming forward saying well, hey, look, Gleanne Maxwell, this is
54:14
real out of character for her, she would never do this. Instead,
54:18
we had girl after girl come forward and talk about
54:22
how Maxwell was integral in their abuse. We have person
54:26
after person come forward and talk about how Gleanne Maxwell
54:30
was just a scummy human being, how she talked about minorities,
54:34
how she talked about poor people, how she looked at
54:37
people who weren't part of her social circles as less then.
54:42
And you could see it in her behavior, the way
54:46
that she treated these girls as if they were chattel,
54:49
as if they were playthings, as if they weren't human
54:51
beings with hopes, dreams, and aspirations. That's the true face
54:57
of Glenne Maxwell. That's the face that's been exposed to
55:00
to me for the past two and a half years.
55:03
And I can't even imagine how long the survivors have
55:09
been seeing that ugly mug in their face, I mean,
55:12
in their mind's eye. Because what happened here, folks, is
55:20
one of the biggest miscarriages of justice perhaps ever. And
55:28
all of these people, all of these scummy individuals surrounding
55:31
the lane, Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein, people like this, a
55:34
Lessie character, Chef Adam Lang, all of these people that
55:39
were around and then have the audacity to talk about,
55:43
oh well, I didn't see anything. It's just it's just
55:47
crazy to me. So now when you get them finally
55:52
on the stand, someone like Alessie, and you have them
55:55
under oath, it's nice to see what they have to say,
55:58
because under normal circumstances, I don't really trust what any
56:02
of these people say. How can you. The whole entire
56:07
enterprise of Jeffrey Epstein's was absolutely draconian, and all of
56:13
these people who took part, all of these people who
56:16
facilitated it in some way, they all need to go
56:20
to prison. Maxwell, however, she had a leadership role. She
56:32
was in a position where she was giving orders to
56:35
other people so that this whole entire thing could keep
56:39
moving forward. That's what's been alleged. So when you look
56:46
at the levels of scumbaggery, Juanna Lessi's certainly on the chart, right,
56:53
but not as scummy as Glene Maxwell, not in my
56:56
opinion anyway. So I'm very interested to see what else
57:00
is coming today as far as testimony from Alessi. Now
57:06
they're going to attempt to have him go back on
57:11
what he said yesterday. They're gonna try and trip them up,
57:14
and you have to expect that the Glen Maxwell strategy
57:18
will hold here and it'll be all guns blazing, a
57:23
visceration and try and nuke them from the sky kind
57:26
of shit, because remember, like I've said, since she's been arrested,
57:33
it's never going to be about the information in the courtroom, right.
57:38
That was never their goal. Their goal was to always
57:41
beat this on a game of loopholes and technicalities, and
57:44
when that ended, it became scorched earth, burn the whole
57:49
entire world down. If we have to to get Glane
57:52
Maxwell off, and that's what they're gonna do. The question
57:57
is are people going to be receptive to it, meaning
58:02
the jurors, And if the previous few human trafficking cases
58:08
that involved big time people have set a precedent, then
58:12
this strategy is not going to work. This strategy is
58:16
going to fall on its face. So we'll see a
58:20
little bit more today which way they're going, But it's
58:23
gonna be very interesting how it all unfolds and what
58:27
other witnesses are brought up to the stand today. Again,
58:31
I looked around to try and find some of the
58:33
other witnesses. I wasn't able to find out who else
58:38
will be testifying today, So obviously tonight when we do
58:41
our evening roundup, will have all of that. But also
58:46
I wanted to touch on how Glene Maxwell yesterday and
58:50
throughout the proceedings, I guess has been sketching the court
58:55
artist as the court artist has been sketching her. How
58:59
creepy is that? Imagine being this court artist and you're
59:02
sitting there, You're getting your sketch on, and as you're
59:05
doing it, Glenn Maxwell staring at you, doing a sketch
59:09
of you. The hell is wrong with this lady? Pay
59:11
attention to the trial. No more scribbling. You don't need
59:14
to draw any stick figures. Okay, pay attention to what's
59:18
going on here at the trial, Miss Maxwell? Who the
59:22
hell sits there and sketches the sketch artist. I thought
59:27
that was a pretty interesting little tidbit from one of
59:30
the headlines I was reading today, and it made me
59:34
pause for a second. You would think you have more
59:36
important things to worry about. If you're Glen Maxwell at
59:38
this point, you're looking at eighty years of prison you're
59:42
being called the human trafficker, child abuser, Jeffrey Epstein's co conspirator,
59:47
and you're worried about drawing a sketch of the sketch artist.
59:53
I would think that you'd be locked into the case.
59:55
I know I would be. I wouldn't want to miss
59:58
a damn thing, never mind draw and sketches of people.
1:00:03
So the sketch artist. She went on to say that
1:00:09
she has had this happen to her before, and she
1:00:13
said that it was during one of these previous trials
1:00:19
that she had somebody sketching her while she was doing
1:00:23
the sketching the parvest trial. And then her comment was,
1:00:29
I guess I look more interesting since the lockouts and
1:00:33
since COVID, which I thought was a pretty funny statement
1:00:36
by her. So I guess it's not something that has
1:00:39
never happened to her before. But I would think that
1:00:42
somebody like Maxwell, who is basically fighting for their lives
1:00:46
would have bigger fish to fry, if you will. One
1:00:51
other thing I wanted to touch on before we wrap
1:00:53
up this morning is the fact that Glenn Maxwell's supposed husband,
1:01:00
Scott Borgerson, hasn't been seen anywhere near this trial, so
1:01:04
once again, it leads us back to the original question,
1:01:08
were they even married? What was going on with Scott
1:01:11
Borgerson and Glaane Maxwell. Obviously there was some sort of
1:01:17
romantic connection there according to reports, but were they really married,
1:01:22
why were their finances tied up the way they were,
1:01:25
and what did Scott Borgerson gain from any of this?
1:01:31
It's been a question that I've been wondering for the
1:01:33
past few days. And also if he was going to
1:01:36
end up making an appearance at this trial at all,
1:01:39
and it certainly doesn't seem like like he's going to.
1:01:43
And there's also been reports that he has moved on
1:01:46
from Kallaianne Maxwell. So that whole entire, sordid affair between
1:01:50
Maxwell and Borgerson, which was an absolute abomination from day one,
1:01:56
considering Borgerson left his wife and two kids for Gallainne Maxwell.
1:02:00
Imagine that Thanksgiving conversation on the rebound on the boomerang, So, Mom,
1:02:06
we were over at Dad's hanging out with Gallan Maxwell
1:02:10
choke on five pieces of turkey. I mean, really, what
1:02:14
sort of maniac leaves his wife for Gallen Maxwell? First
1:02:18
of all, Second of all, have you ever seen a
1:02:23
bigger shit show than this whole entire ordeal. Oh, it's
1:02:28
her husband. Her family doesn't know anything about it, but
1:02:31
all of a sudden, it's her husband. Huh. So I
1:02:33
would love to be a roach in the rushes and
1:02:36
to hear that whole entire origin story how that all
1:02:40
came about. And again, I'm interested to see if this
1:02:45
dude shows up at all to this trial, but it's
1:02:48
kind of looking like he's not going to and more
1:02:53
than likely that whole entire relationship of theirs was some
1:02:56
kind of sham. I can't really put my finger on
1:02:59
it yet what was going going on. I don't have
1:03:00
enough information about the whole entire deal, but there's always
1:03:05
been something goofy about the Borgerson and Glainne Maxwell relationship.
1:03:11
I'm gonna post a couple of episodes later on. One of
1:03:14
them will be about Scott Borgerson and Gallainne Maxwell, and
1:03:18
uh yeah, it's just one of those things, one of
1:03:21
those questions that I've had for the last few days,
1:03:24
wondering if this guy was gonna show up to this
1:03:26
trial at all, because leading up to this, during the
1:03:30
proceedings for Bell, Scott Borgerson was, you know, big time involved.
1:03:36
So I'm wondering what stopped that, and obviously that's probably
1:03:42
one of those loose ends that we'll never get to
1:03:44
tie up. But one of those questions that certainly is
1:03:49
at the forefront of my mind. Not that it's a
1:03:52
huge deal right as far as the specifics of the case,
1:03:56
but just one of those unanswered loose and that I
1:04:01
keep wondering about. So we'll have to see if he
1:04:05
shows up, we'll see what occurs. We got a long
1:04:07
way to go in this trial, folks, a long way
1:04:09
to go, and today, obviously day five, Friday, we'll get
1:04:16
our wrap up episode in as soon as the proceedings end.
1:04:19
We'll do the evening update, and then on Saturday and
1:04:24
Sunday you can expect just some context episodes. I'll upload
1:04:28
some more stuff to kind of give you an idea
1:04:31
of the overall picture of what we're dealing with here,
1:04:34
and a few more episodes about whoever we might hear
1:04:39
about today in the testimony. Like I said, I have
1:04:43
like sixteen hundred episodes that I've been that I've put
1:04:47
out over the last three years. So there's pretty much
1:04:51
nobody in this case that they're going to touch on
1:04:53
that I haven't done a deep dive into so as
1:04:57
the names pop up, I'll add those episodes for a
1:05:00
little more context for those of you who have just
1:05:03
found the case or are looking for more information and
1:05:07
more than just a scratch of the surface. So that's
1:05:10
what you can be on the lookout for this weekend,
1:05:12
and then obviously Monday, right back at it. So that's
1:05:17
gonna wrap it up this morning, folks. We are about, oh,
1:05:20
I don't know, twenty four minutes away from the trial starting,
1:05:25
so that should give you folks some time to listen
1:05:27
to the episode and then prepare yourselves for the trial.
1:05:31
