Speaker 3: Welcome in, brother, great.
• 1:15
Speaker 2: To see you, Yes, sir, thank you having me. Man,
• 1:17
Speaker 2: I appreciate you. All right.
• 1:18
Speaker 3: So I told you, I mean, you look different like
• 1:21
Speaker 3: you look you look You've always looked good, but man,
• 1:23
Speaker 3: you look different. I taught to Coach Clinton. He said, Man,
• 1:26
Speaker 3: we've worked really, really hard in the off season. We've
• 1:28
Speaker 3: conditioned very well. You know last year and we won't
• 1:32
Speaker 3: get into much of last year, but man, that was
• 1:33
Speaker 3: just a weird year. It was a funny year. Kind
• 1:35
Speaker 3: of take us through. Maybe how going through last year
• 1:38
Speaker 3: helped you guys get ready for this year.
• 1:40
Speaker 4: Uh, just to go through that diversity of park because
• 1:43
Speaker 4: like lost the coach, injuries, like different different different egos
• 1:48
Speaker 4: on the team. So like it made us start coming
• 1:50
Speaker 4: together the end of the year then go on the run.
• 1:52
Speaker 4: We had showed us that like we could do anything
• 1:56
Speaker 4: we really want to. We just got to do it
• 1:57
Speaker 4: right and the getting of the season to finish it.
• 2:00
Speaker 3: You know, when you look at it, and I've heard
• 2:01
Speaker 3: coaches say this too, and I can remember being way
• 2:04
Speaker 3: young many years ago and coach is talking about, hey,
• 2:06
Speaker 3: look if you go through a situation in a season
• 2:09
Speaker 3: where maybe you're an underclassman and you don't like the
• 2:12
Speaker 3: way things turned out. Do it differently when you're a senior.
• 2:15
Speaker 3: How have you, guys, you, Slaton and some others done
• 2:17
Speaker 3: it differently so far this year?
• 2:19
Speaker 4: Uh, leading in a bigger way, like just from saying
• 2:23
Speaker 4: during summer workouts, conditioning, take your head on, try to
• 2:27
Speaker 4: be first, try to you know, lead by example, put
• 2:30
Speaker 4: your heart out and talk.
• 2:32
Speaker 2: Just getting these guys on the same level of you.
• 2:34
Speaker 3: On visit with Tyson Robinson, Brandon running back. He has
• 2:37
Speaker 3: committed to Michigan and we headed to ann Albert Man.
• 2:39
Speaker 3: Congratulations on that. Take us through that. You know we've
• 2:43
Speaker 3: seen you know, the big ten come in here and
• 2:45
Speaker 3: grab some guys. So we'll visit with Slat and Shock
• 2:48
Speaker 3: here after you who's going to Illinois, You're going to Michigan.
• 2:51
Speaker 3: You all will be you know, rivals when you get
• 2:52
Speaker 3: to college. But take us through the decision on Michigan.
• 2:56
Speaker 4: Uh, the decision came from like just the coaching there
• 2:58
Speaker 4: at Coach Alfred he's one of Ben's running back coaches
• 3:01
Speaker 4: in history. He's at like Ezekiel Elliot and all the
• 3:04
Speaker 4: big time backs come through Ohio State and now in
• 3:06
Speaker 4: Michigan he used produced some good backs.
• 3:08
Speaker 2: So his his leadership.
• 3:10
Speaker 4: And then development part is like better than any coaching
• 3:14
Speaker 4: resume out in college. And then he's believing and trusting
• 3:17
Speaker 4: in me coming to the South and he said he
• 3:18
Speaker 4: really don't recruit that much down here because people don't
• 3:21
Speaker 4: get him. Kind of meant something. So I think that's
• 3:23
Speaker 4: what really took it over with Michigan.
• 3:25
Speaker 3: And I promise you the Ohio State on my screen
• 3:27
Speaker 3: was not perfect, not meant to be. I was just
• 3:29
Speaker 3: looking at the article Ryan Day obviously here from at ESPN.
• 3:33
Speaker 3: It's gonna get cold up there.
• 3:35
Speaker 2: It's gonna be COVID. You gotta get used to.
• 3:38
Speaker 3: Well, look, that's gonna be a fun deal for you
• 3:40
Speaker 3: when you look before you get the Now where you
• 3:41
Speaker 3: going in January? Yes, sir, going in January? Take us
• 3:44
Speaker 3: through kind of what that those expectations here for you?
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: Are?
• 3:47
Speaker 3: You know in your last year?
• 3:48
  Speaker 2: Here's a bulldog?
• 3:50
Speaker 4: Uh really, I'm just focusing on high school. So like,
• 3:52
Speaker 4: I just want to accomplish last down year because I
• 3:56
Speaker 4: was injured. So this year I just want to have
• 3:58
Speaker 4: one of those standout year where I prove the world
• 4:01
Speaker 4: wrong and all the haters they can shut up.
• 4:03
Speaker 2: So like, I'm trying to.
• 4:05
Speaker 4: Chase something big this year and win the championship and
• 4:07
Speaker 4: do something history it's never done.
• 4:08
Speaker 3: You know when you look at this, this group of teams,
• 4:11
Speaker 3: this group of dogs coming through, kind of you know,
• 4:13
Speaker 3: you don't have to talk about all the players here,
• 4:14
Speaker 3: but just kind of what you like about this team.
• 4:17
Speaker 4: Uh, this team is hungry. Just really Coach Clinton Mada
• 4:20
Speaker 4: like that though. So like this year coming up, some
• 4:23
Speaker 4: of the workouts you've seen the guys. The first day
• 4:25
Speaker 4: we ran four miles with a forty five playing our
• 4:29
Speaker 4: backpack around the school. So like if you quit, then
• 4:33
Speaker 4: you wasn't on the team, and everybody stays with that
• 4:36
Speaker 4: kind of show you we got some heart out here
• 4:38
Speaker 4: when I might might not be the biggest, but we
• 4:40
Speaker 4: show got to Tempa.
• 4:41
Speaker 3: Got a new offensive coordinator. Will visit with Justin Hunter
• 4:45
Speaker 3: before we get out of here today. Take us through
• 4:47
Speaker 3: what that offense may look like this year a lot
• 4:49
Speaker 3: more like Sam offense. It's kind of the same in
• 4:52
  Speaker 3: a way.
• 4:53
  Speaker 2: I love it.
• 4:54
Speaker 4: I think it's very similar and it's kind of gonna
• 4:58
Speaker 4: break a game out where we just score a bunch
• 4:59
  Speaker 4: of point.
• 5:00
Speaker 3: Visit with Tyson Robinson Brandon running back Thursday edition of
• 5:04
Speaker 3: the program. Got some other guys in that backfield. Take
• 5:08
Speaker 3: us through some of the guys that'll be playing with
• 5:09
  Speaker 3: you there.
• 5:09
Speaker 4: Oh Kingston Kingston Kingston Mays, I believe that's his last name.
• 5:14
Speaker 2: Kings is gonna be a great bat. He kind of
• 5:16
  Speaker 2: resembled C. J. Morden in a way.
• 5:17
Speaker 4: Yeah, so he very powerful, one foot, he gonna he
• 5:22
Speaker 4: ain't gonna touch him.
• 5:23
Speaker 3: Let's get you on your way with this, and I
• 5:25
Speaker 3: do appreciate your time today. Obviously you've got a full
• 5:27
Speaker 3: season to play here on this field right here, and
• 5:30
Speaker 3: of course throughout the state of Mississippi. But what it's
• 5:32
Speaker 3: meant to you to play for this school, you know,
• 5:35
Speaker 3: I know there were times probably where you thought, or
• 5:37
Speaker 3: maybe maybe you didn't say, Hey, look man, I just
• 5:39
Speaker 3: I think I may go play somewhere else and finish
• 5:40
Speaker 3: my high school career. You finished, You're gonna finish it here.
• 5:43
Speaker 3: What that means to you to be, you know, be
• 5:44
Speaker 3: a bulldog and finish it here.
• 5:46
Speaker 2: It means a lot.
• 5:47
  Speaker 4: I mean, it's it's definitely been some times where I've
• 5:49
Speaker 4: thought about it, but just just coming down at the
• 5:51
Speaker 4: end of the day. It's the best place you could
• 5:53
Speaker 4: be and the people around just gonna make sure you straight.
• 5:56

Speaker 3: and Middle. Head to two below for game one. Tyson,

• 6:18
Speaker 3: Let me get you some more notes here real quick.
• 6:20
Speaker 3: We were talking about Dabo Sweeney. Later on, we're gonna
• 6:23
Speaker 3: get to who has the best jersey patch?
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: Man.
• 6:26
Speaker 3: There's some really really good jersey patches out there that
• 6:28
Speaker 3: I want to get into. Some of these are not good,
• 6:30
Speaker 3: but some of these are very good. Also, you at
• 6:33
Speaker 3: UCLA transfer guard Sky Clark has committed to LSU. Remember
• 6:38
Speaker 3: we talked earlier in the week. LSU basketball only had
• 6:42
Speaker 3: four guys as they opened school, and so now they've
• 6:46
Speaker 3: got five or six. They're starting to bring some of
• 6:48
Speaker 3: those guys in under Will Wade. Also, the Florida Gators
• 6:51
Speaker 3: have announced they're gonna wear all blue uniforms this season.
• 6:55
Speaker 3: Gator Matt would have to tell me this. I thought
• 6:56
Speaker 3: they've already done this. Maybe I'm just misremembering, but the
• 6:58
Speaker 3: Florida Gator's gonna be an all blue this year. They
• 7:01
Speaker 3: say that they have not done that. Also, we'll get
• 7:03
Speaker 3: into Chris Loow's college football playoff prediction. He has Ohio
• 7:07
Speaker 3: State winning the national title. And again I've told you
• 7:09
Speaker 3: we're gonna We've gone through several of these. I've got Texas,
• 7:13
Speaker 3: he's got Ohio State. Others have you know, Notre Dame,
• 7:16
Speaker 3: some have Oregon. It's a wide open field. We'll get
• 7:19
Speaker 3: into Chris Low's projections of his college football playoff down
• 7:23
Speaker 3: the road here in the show. Also little NFL news
• 7:25
Speaker 3: from Ian Rappaport. Carson Beck won't play tonight in the
• 7:28
Speaker 3: preseason game against the Raiders due to a rib injury
• 7:31
Speaker 3: sustaining last Thursday Hall of Fame game. The injury is
• 7:33
Speaker 3: not considered serious. Beck practice through soren Us all week,
• 7:37
Speaker 3: but the team decided to keep him out of any
• 7:40
Speaker 3: kind of contact this week and just a precaution. They
• 7:44
Speaker 3: figure he'll be back coming up here next week. And
• 7:48
Speaker 3: again we were telling you about Jaden Daniels and everything
• 7:51
Speaker 3: going on down at LSU. Not happy with a defensive
• 7:54
Speaker 3: back wearing his number five, which again the jersey's not retired,
• 7:57
Speaker 3: the jersey is still there. Also, the APE pole will
• 8:02
Speaker 3: be released coming up in as Brett mc murphy sys
• 8:05
Speaker 3: ninety six hours, so that'll be this weekend, probably Sunday,
• 8:09
Speaker 3: and we'll get into Brett mc murphy's top twenty five.
• 8:11
Speaker 3: He has released his AP ballot and just to kind
• 8:14
Speaker 3: of give you a teaser on that, let me find
• 8:17
Speaker 3: that in the stack of stuff here, he's got Orgon
• 8:20
Speaker 3: number one, preseason number one. I told you it's just
• 8:23
Speaker 3: a wide open field. You've got so many teams I
• 8:25
Speaker 3: think in college football this year, where the money that's
• 8:28
Speaker 3: been spent, the players that are on each team, the
• 8:30
Speaker 3: talent is really distributed or distributed evenly, and there's not
• 8:35
Speaker 3: a dimes worth of difference in about eight or nine
• 8:37
Speaker 3: of these teams. We're brought to you by Maristar Casino,
