- 0:00Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 0:03Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 0:07Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 0:11Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 0:15Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 0:23Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 0:28Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 0:31Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 0:35Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 0:39Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 0:43Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 0:46Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 0:55Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Let's go to Meta, Yes, let's go to Meta. So
- 1:05Speaker 3: Meta is a company that you have been very bullish
- 1:08Speaker 3: on for a.
- 1:10Speaker 4: While, bearish, bearish at first, barish. You have been very
- 1:14Speaker 4: bearish on they must have closed you. You've been very
- 1:17Speaker 4: You've been very You've been very Yes, you've been very
- 1:21Speaker 4: bearish on Meta for a long time. Yes, and Meta
- 1:25Speaker 4: had one of the greatest stock drops of all time
- 1:28Speaker 4: in one day.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Last was that last year?
- 1:31Speaker 5: That was That was Let's story.
- 1:33Speaker 3: But since then they have they have been steadily climbing
- 1:39Speaker 3: the mountain, steadily climbing, climbing the mountain. From they're low,
- 1:45Speaker 3: I think they're low was like one.
- 1:47Speaker 6: Hundred and eighty eight.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Okay, they're low with eighty eighth nine they are currently
- 1:52Speaker 3: at two forty three.
- 1:55Speaker 5: Yep.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I am a believer in Instagram. I've always been a
- 2:00Speaker 3: believer in Instagram saying and believe in the resiliency. I
- 2:07Speaker 3: believe in the resiliency of Meta.
- 2:11Speaker 5: I'll should too, as much as I'm up there.
- 2:14Speaker 3: So, Okay, is Meta officially back? Have they carved out
- 2:23Speaker 3: the grave? M H.
- 2:26Speaker 5: Dono either or either?
- 2:29Speaker 3: Or what's the what is what is the deal with Meta?
- 2:33Speaker 5: I think uh, Meta has done it?
- 2:35Speaker 6: Like and I was telling everyone because I'm in to
- 2:37Speaker 6: the root text with Zuckerberg and field people and Meta
- 2:41Speaker 6: or I g they like he's back. Being hungry for
- 2:45Speaker 6: the first time in a long time. He suffered from
- 2:47Speaker 6: the same success the Intel did, but after they wanted
- 2:51Speaker 6: to take his company over, he's been calwn back. I
- 2:54Speaker 6: don't like all the innovations, but the number one thing
- 2:56Speaker 6: that Meta's done is cut jobs and knowing people there.
- 3:00Speaker 5: I'm going to be very honest the morale at Meta.
- 3:04Speaker 5: While the stock has gone up, everyone who works there
- 3:07Speaker 5: is on pins and needles.
- 3:09Speaker 6: I don't like the initiatives of sending everybody home, so
- 3:12Speaker 6: let them know if they're going to be fired. But
- 3:14Speaker 6: of course they were too top heavy. Now, of course
- 3:17Speaker 6: you have to cut costs.
- 3:18Speaker 5: I get it.
- 3:19Speaker 6: Sometimes the first thing that people do is lay off
- 3:21Speaker 6: employees as a result of stock is going up. I'm
- 3:24Speaker 6: still looking to see the innovation. On an earnest call,
- 3:26Speaker 6: they did say that they're not giving up on the metaverse,
- 3:29Speaker 6: which I think is a mistake, but there's less of
- 3:31Speaker 6: an emphasis on it moving in the right direction. They
- 3:35Speaker 6: have some things that they're going to do in AI
- 3:37Speaker 6: move in the right direction. So they have come up
- 3:39Speaker 6: past that fifty percent retracement of forty five percent retraacement
- 3:43Speaker 6: at one to eighty.
- 3:43Speaker 5: One, so they are slowly back into the positive long
- 3:47Speaker 5: way away from three.
- 3:49Speaker 6: Yeah, but I still need to see a little bit
- 3:51Speaker 6: more innovation on Instagram side. How they monetized, they took
- 3:56Speaker 6: away away reels, so there's a lot of inconsistency in
- 4:00Speaker 6: their price and structure that I don't like.
- 4:02Speaker 5: But I can't lie.
- 4:03Speaker 6: This has been a hell of a rebound from the
- 4:05Speaker 6: eighty eight to one on two level for sure.
- 4:07Speaker 7: Yeah, I think that the about one hundred and seventy
- 4:11Speaker 7: percent increase since the low, which is incredible. But you
- 4:14Speaker 7: said it, I mean, you highlighted all the things.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Right.
- 4:17Speaker 7: If I want to make more money, how can I
- 4:18Speaker 7: do it if I without innovating.
- 4:20Speaker 5: Number one, let's got some job costs.
- 4:22Speaker 7: Cut costs, that's number one. Pull back on some of
- 4:26Speaker 7: the innovative things. I was talking about fifty billion dollars
- 4:29Speaker 7: being spent on the metaverse.
- 4:30Speaker 5: All right, it'say horrible products, but let's let's scale it.
- 4:34Speaker 7: Let's scale that back, let's stop paying out money. So
- 4:37Speaker 7: let's cut back on reels. But what's helped them as
- 4:40Speaker 7: well is the AD space that I mean. I think
- 4:44Speaker 7: they reported sixty billion, fifty eight point nine billion dollars
- 4:47Speaker 7: in AD revenue, which is incredible. So there was a
- 4:50Speaker 7: time last year when everybody was in fear of a
- 4:52Speaker 7: recession and everybody cut back on this spending. Those times
- 4:56Speaker 7: are easing up and people are now advertising on Facebook again, yeah,
- 5:00Speaker 7: and spending money, and they're able to sell space again
- 5:03Speaker 7: because the world's back open.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Google on only two places at all. That's what I'm saying.
- 5:10Speaker 7: Corporate accounts that are opening again, and we can see that,
- 5:12Speaker 7: especially in this space where we're looking at corporations that
- 5:15Speaker 7: have ad spenditures and we're seeing the amounts that they're spending.
- 5:18Speaker 7: So imagine that at that level they took in sixty
- 5:21Speaker 7: that's a lot of money.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Yes, that's more than a.
- 5:24Speaker 7: Lot of businesses even generate in the history of their
- 5:28Speaker 7: existence their enterprise, right, So they're taking that from the
- 5:31Speaker 7: ad space.
- 5:32Speaker 5: You've got to take that into account.
- 5:34Speaker 7: How does that solow down or can they expand upon
- 5:36Speaker 7: that now when they create more innovative things, will it
- 5:39Speaker 7: help We'll see. I know that Apple coming into the
- 5:42Speaker 7: eye space of the eyewear space doesn't help them with
- 5:45Speaker 7: the oculus, so maybe that won't be the innovative space,
- 5:47Speaker 7: but it does give them leeway to be innovative again,
- 5:52Speaker 7: which is helpful.
- 5:53Speaker 6: They spend thirteen point seven billion on meta in twenty
- 5:56Speaker 6: twenty two sixty billion here is great. I think if
- 5:59Speaker 6: they cut the Metaverse project, they would be better off.
- 6:02Speaker 6: And if they focus on just improving the ad platform,
- 6:04Speaker 6: I think they have one of the best of all time.
- 6:06Speaker 6: But they in that ad platform, but there's still a
- 6:09Speaker 6: lot of room for improvement. It's still not the easiest
- 6:12Speaker 6: platform to use. Targeting is not always the best. Great balance,
- 6:16Speaker 6: especially if you're swing trading.
- 6:18Speaker 5: Great balance.
- 6:18Speaker 7: But this episode is brought to you by P and

- 8:11Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 8:14Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador

- 8:54Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 8:57Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 9:06Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 9:11Speaker 5: How many jobs can you cut?
- 9:12Speaker 6: They're not an organization where you can only have two
- 9:14Speaker 6: thousand people working there and be efficient. So I think
- 9:17Speaker 6: we're seeing the last of this bounces. Yeah, for a
- 9:21Speaker 6: little bit of time, until we see some other innovation.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that meta. If you would like to
- 9:30Speaker 3: make me an ambassador or Instagram, I would definitely be
- 9:35Speaker 3: open to it.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Oh, hold on, bro hold on, hold on brod.
- 9:39Speaker 3: No, No, no, I'm not. I'm not in the best.
- 9:42Speaker 5: Okay, I thought you pitch it. I thought it was
- 9:44Speaker 5: a pitch coming.
- 9:45Speaker 3: There's let's not do the zoom in on me today.
- 9:49Speaker 3: But I would be open to it because I have
- 9:55Speaker 3: championed you guys through the good times and the bad times,
- 10:02Speaker 3: and I do feel that they're here to stay as
- 10:07Speaker 3: a company. I feel that the blue check thing was
- 10:11Speaker 3: was a good idea. I think it was executed better.
- 10:18Speaker 5: Let's go back, let's go back. Listen.
- 10:26Speaker 3: As far as for a user and all that, yeah,
- 10:29Speaker 3: I'm talking about a good idea. As far as business
- 10:32Speaker 3: for them. For me, no, I don't. I don't like
- 10:34Speaker 3: the idea. But as far as for them, I'm getting
- 10:37Speaker 3: more revenue. It's a good idea and it was implemented
- 10:41Speaker 3: better than Twitter. This is what Twitter did, in my opinion,
- 10:46Speaker 3: that was a mistake. Instagram. If you have a blue
- 10:49Speaker 3: check already, they kept it, and it's just like, okay,
- 10:53Speaker 3: if you want a blue check now you can pay
- 10:55Speaker 3: for it. So this still and incentive to have a
- 11:00Speaker 3: blue check because everybody else already kept their blue check.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Twitter took everybody's blue check away and said, now everybody
- 11:07Speaker 3: has to pay for money somehow. But when now when
- 11:10Speaker 3: nobody has a blue check, then it doesn't matter. It
- 11:13Speaker 3: doesn't mean anything anymore, right, And they haven't been as
- 11:15Speaker 3: profitable in that endeavor as Instagram has. So it's like,
- 11:19Speaker 3: you take Kim Kardashian's check away. She's not going to
- 11:22Speaker 3: pay nine dollars a month for a check, so now
- 11:24Speaker 3: it doesn't mean anything. So now that efficiently they destroyed
- 11:29Speaker 3: the power of the blue check for Twitter because you
- 11:32Speaker 3: took everybody's blue check away except for like one hundred people,
- 11:35Speaker 3: So now nobody's even really caring about a blue check.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Instagram kept the blue checks and just made it available
- 11:42Speaker 3: to buy a blue check if you want it. I
- 11:45Speaker 3: think that that was way better execution Twitter.
- 11:49Speaker 7: I agree, And I don't think everybody can get it either,
- 11:52Speaker 7: Like even if they wanted to pay, they just can't
- 11:54Speaker 7: get it.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Who didn't get up?
- 11:56Speaker 7: Yeah, like I know Instagram. Yeah, shout out to the MG.
- 11:59Speaker 7: I know he's been He said that there was some
- 12:00Speaker 7: issues with him trying to get his.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Can't get a blue check. Why can't he get a
- 12:05Speaker 3: blue I don't know.
- 12:05Speaker 7: If you overad metal, make sure my brother MG can
- 12:07Speaker 7: get his blue jack. Please stop playing with MG man.
- 12:11Speaker 7: He's a certified gym dropper. Ransom Gems is the number
- 12:13Speaker 7: one realiztation. I got you, stop playing, I got you Matt. Yeah,
- 12:18Speaker 7: specially brought to you by And I.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Still feel like they have a long way to go
- 12:21Speaker 3: with WhatsApp because WhatsApp is a hitting gym. Well it's
- 12:26Speaker 3: not hitting to people that international national the international community.
- 12:29Speaker 3: They on WhatsApp all the time. So I'm not sure
- 12:32Speaker 3: if they're monetizing WhatsApp because it's free.
- 12:34Speaker 6: You asked my question if they're trying to monetize it,
- 12:36Speaker 6: do you think people will pay a little bit of
- 12:37Speaker 6: the same issue at Twitter because I told him, like
- 12:40Speaker 6: most people internationally can't afford to pay ten months, not
- 12:45Speaker 6: even a centive.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:46Speaker 3: I think they have to do a version maybe where
- 12:49Speaker 3: it's a free version and then you have a premium,
- 12:52Speaker 3: a premium service. And I don't know if that premium
- 12:54Speaker 3: service is for business owners or if that premium service
- 12:56Speaker 3: allows you to do a little bit more. But I
- 12:59Speaker 3: think that they have to find a way to start
- 13:01Speaker 3: monetizing on whats app. They have billions of people that's
- 13:05Speaker 3: on there, Like they have a lot of people on WhatsApp,
- 13:07Speaker 3: So what.
- 13:08Speaker 7: Do you think they'll shout out to? Isaac Gay's the
- 13:11Speaker 7: third who will also be at investments. But he did
- 13:13Speaker 7: something very intelligent with his certification.
- 13:16Speaker 5: He changed the color. That's smart. So do you think
- 13:18Speaker 5: that at.
- 13:19Speaker 7: Some point Instagram goes from blue to when it's now
- 13:22Speaker 7: a premium, it's a different color, like it's gold or
- 13:25Speaker 7: it's you know, I mean something like that.
- 13:26Speaker 6: I think if they did, it would be too much
- 13:28Speaker 6: of a liability to potentially get sued.
- 13:30Speaker 5: Since Isaac has already put that out there.
- 13:32Speaker 6: I know some people on Twitter tested as well, But
- 13:34Speaker 6: like that blue chat historically for half a decade, is
- 13:37Speaker 6: that's the standard something? So yeah, Shelton out for the
- 13:42Speaker 6: cost cut of measures.
- 13:43Speaker 5: But employee morale is down.
- 13:45Speaker 6: Like praise and once again going back to the top two,
- 13:47Speaker 6: great pounce are they better than Apple? Microsoft LinkedIn in comparison?
- 13:52Speaker 6: Like we're just taking tech across the board?
- 13:55Speaker 5: Are they?
- 13:56Speaker 3: No?
- 13:57Speaker 5: They fell from top five to its tenth. Maybe the.
- 14:06Speaker 7: Man I got you FG said stop playing with me,
- 14:08Speaker 7: I see you boy, stop playing with him.
- 14:12Speaker 3: My graduates from my school being force back drop drop Mike,
- 14:18Speaker 3: drop backdropft.
