- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Mark Simone Show on seven ten woor filling
- 0:05Speaker 1: in for Mark, here's Ken Rosatto. Yes, yes, yes, the
- 0:09Speaker 1: end of the week is here. Mark has the day off,
- 0:11Speaker 1: and it's good to be here. Former New York City
- 0:13Speaker 1: TV news anchor GUYE. Ken Rosatto in, and you probably
- 0:16Speaker 1: best remember me for the twenty years I spent anchoring
- 0:20Speaker 1: the morning show at Channel seven.
- 0:21Speaker 2: I was a Channel five before that.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Nowadays I get the host a daily show on a
- 0:26Speaker 1: New Jersey based news channel called on New Jersey. You
- 0:30Speaker 1: could stream it live or watch reruns at o NNJ
- 0:33Speaker 1: dot com. And I run a food website for all
- 0:35Speaker 1: you foodies, Thefooddude dot us. Thefooddude dot Us. We've got
- 0:40Speaker 1: a lot to talk about to wrap up this busy
- 0:43Speaker 1: news week. We want to hear from you too. Don't
- 0:45Speaker 1: just sit there, want you to pick up the phone
- 0:47Speaker 1: and call one eight hundred and three two one zero
- 0:51Speaker 1: seven ten. Hey, we got some sad breaking news out
- 0:54Speaker 1: of San Antonio, Texas. Police there are saying that there
- 0:58Speaker 1: was a twenty one year old illegal alien who fatally
- 1:01Speaker 1: shot three people just over an hour ago at what
- 1:03Speaker 1: may be his place of work. Now he and his family,
- 1:07Speaker 1: According to police illegally entered the US back in twenty nineteen,
- 1:11Speaker 1: and they were supposed to appear at a court hearing
- 1:13Speaker 1: in twenty twenty two, but authorities say they failed to
- 1:16Speaker 1: show up. Now three Americans are dead banks to the
- 1:20Speaker 1: Biden administration doing nothing about this guy in twenty twenty
- 1:23Speaker 1: two when he was supposed to be removed from our country.
- 1:27Speaker 1: But these things have consequences. Okay, it doesn't mean that
- 1:32Speaker 1: everybody who came here illegally is going to be a murderer, clearly,
- 1:35Speaker 1: most or not. But the thing is, when you lose
- 1:38Speaker 1: track of people, you don't know who they are, what
- 1:39Speaker 1: their background is, why they're here, and then you lose
- 1:42Speaker 1: track of them, things like this happen and you have
- 1:45Speaker 1: three tax paying, hard working, good US citizens dead because
- 1:51Speaker 1: the Biden administration let this guy in, lost track of him,
- 1:55Speaker 1: and now he ended up according to authorities, they say
- 1:57Speaker 1: that he killed three people they believe was his place
- 2:01Speaker 1: of work in Texas, San Antonio, seven ten wy. And
- 2:05Speaker 1: you know, we keep saying the nation is so polarized.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Now we may know for fact that it may be
- 2:10Speaker 1: because according to NBC News, they just conducted a poll
- 2:15Speaker 1: and check this out. The NBC News poll shows eighty
- 2:18Speaker 1: two percent of Republicans say they have friends who are Democrats.
- 2:23Speaker 1: When you ask democrats, do you have any friends who
- 2:25Speaker 1: are Republicans, only sixty four percent of Democrats say they
- 2:29Speaker 1: have a friend who's a Republican. And if you recall,
- 2:32Speaker 1: I've said this before Dan Bongino, before he became the
- 2:35Speaker 1: Deputy Director of the FBI, when he was a talk
- 2:38Speaker 1: show host, he used to say, Republicans think Democrats are
- 2:42Speaker 1: good people with bad ideas, while Democrats think Republicans are
- 2:47Speaker 1: bad people, and that's why there's no dialogue. That's why
- 2:51Speaker 1: they're so dialogue. Republicans, my Republican friends are always willing
- 2:54Speaker 1: to sit down and talk, and they don't get animated,
- 2:56Speaker 1: and they don't scream, and they don't go out with
- 2:59Speaker 1: green hair and those rings, protesting, screaming, burning police cars. No,
- 3:03Speaker 1: that is a feature of the left. The right doesn't
- 3:07Speaker 1: do that. It's just not part of the mo of
- 3:09Speaker 1: the right. If you have a disagreement, we'll sit down
- 3:12Speaker 1: and talk. I want to know what you have to say.
- 3:15Speaker 1: But unfortunately the left doesn't have that same opinion. Their
- 3:20Speaker 1: object is to shut you down because they need to
- 3:24Speaker 1: convince you of their way of life, of their thought process,
- 3:28Speaker 1: and as long as that's the case, there will be
- 3:30Speaker 1: no dialect. They don't want dialogue. They don't want dialect.
- 3:33Speaker 1: They want to shut you down, dispatch you if necessary,
- 3:36Speaker 1: in order to make their way of life the way
- 3:39Speaker 1: of life.
- 3:39Speaker 2: And that's that.
- 3:41Speaker 1: So what did you think about this lunatic? On the
- 3:43Speaker 1: Upper east Side? If you haven't heard, there was a
- 3:45Speaker 1: guy with a gun who was killed in a shootout
- 3:47Speaker 1: with police after he apparently pointed his gun at a
- 3:51Speaker 1: guy in a building elevator. First, then he later ran
- 3:55Speaker 1: into a deli and he threatened to shoot up the deli,
- 3:58Speaker 1: then he to shoot up a hospital. Now cops ended
- 4:02Speaker 1: up shooting the man. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
- 4:06Speaker 1: No word at this point what was going on if
- 4:08Speaker 1: he was mentally challenged. But this brings up Zorn, Yes,
- 4:13Speaker 1: mayor to be Zoran. You know all he'll tell you
- 4:17Speaker 1: back when you ask him questions about things like this
- 4:20Speaker 1: is gobbledegook.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Police have a critical role to play in creating public safety,
- 4:24Speaker 3: and I speak to those officers on the beat. I
- 4:26Speaker 3: hear a frustration from them that we're asking them to
- 4:28Speaker 3: do more than just focus on serious crimes. We're asking
- 4:31Speaker 3: them to do the work of mental health professionals and
- 4:33Speaker 3: so are nots, and that reliance on having them deal
- 4:36Speaker 3: with almost every failure of the social safety net is
- 4:39Speaker 3: making it impossible for them to tackle those crimes.
- 4:41Speaker 2: No, just arrest them. I don't need, you know what.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I don't need the police officer to sit there and
- 4:47Speaker 1: do a question and answer therapy period where he says, so,
- 4:50Speaker 1: how are you feeling right now?
- 4:52Speaker 2: If a guy's breaking the law? All right?
- 4:54Speaker 1: Granted, you can't treat every situation the same.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I get it.
- 4:58Speaker 1: My dad was a cop. There's a gentleman who calls
- 5:00Speaker 1: from the Carolinas who's a cop.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I know. Listen.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I was raised with cops, raised with law enforcement, raised
- 5:05Speaker 1: with lawyers in the family and among friends.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I get it.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Every circumstance is different. But a police officer, they have
- 5:11Speaker 1: a hard enough job and they don't get paid anywhere
- 5:13Speaker 1: near what they should. And as far as I'm concerned,
- 5:16Speaker 1: give them the tools and let them arrest and then
- 5:20Speaker 1: we'll deal with them later. If the individual being arrested
- 5:23Speaker 1: needs mental health, I don't need the cop to do that,
- 5:25Speaker 1: and I don't need to send a dime store psychologist
- 5:28Speaker 1: out to every crime and let them diagnose in ten
- 5:31Speaker 1: seconds somebody who has a knife andeness threatening to kill
- 5:34Speaker 1: their families or on. That's not the way it works, okay,
- 5:37Speaker 1: but that's the way this this socialist wants it to
- 5:40Speaker 1: be in this city. It's unbelievable. He wants to deploy
- 5:44Speaker 1: social workers instead of police to respond to nine to
- 5:46Speaker 1: one one calls like this. What would have happened if
- 5:50Speaker 1: a therapist showed up and this guy had a gone
- 5:53Speaker 1: and he's going threatening to shoot up a hospital with
- 5:55Speaker 1: a therapist have said, why don't we sit down and discuss.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I want to know what you're feeling. Yeah, you see
- 6:00Speaker 1: how that works. Actually, we find out that this has
- 6:03Speaker 1: been actually tested since earlier in the year and very
- 6:07Speaker 1: quietly tested. In fact, and published reports say that early
- 6:11Speaker 1: results of this program it's called be Heard. Yes, okay,
- 6:15Speaker 1: we know you have a gun and you're frustrated, but
- 6:17Speaker 1: I want you to be heard. It shows that it is
- 6:20Speaker 1: not a good plan. So Mamdani has proposed shifting one
- 6:24Speaker 1: point one billion dollars toward the Department of Community Safety
- 6:29Speaker 1: for this plan. Apparently, an audit was conducted in May
- 6:32Speaker 1: by the city Controller and it was determined this thing
- 6:35Speaker 1: is an utter failure. I mean, Mamdanni hasn't even taken
- 6:39Speaker 1: off as yet to put it into play, but we
- 6:41Speaker 1: know it doesn't work.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Apparently, sixty percent of.
- 6:44Speaker 1: The calls that came in for what would have been
- 6:47Speaker 1: mental health responses, they were deemed ineligible. And there are
- 6:51Speaker 1: a bunch of reasons why we can get into and
- 6:53Speaker 1: more than thirty five percent of the so called eligible
- 6:57Speaker 1: calls from mental health professionals never got a response. And
- 7:00Speaker 1: for this, mom, Donnie wants to spend over a billion
- 7:02Speaker 1: dollars of your tax payer money. Remember when to Blasio's
- 7:06Speaker 1: wife got this a billion dollars to Blasio had allocated
- 7:09Speaker 1: to deal with people who are homeless, and after a
- 7:12Speaker 1: couple of years we asked where did that money go?
- 7:14Speaker 1: And you couldn't account for it. They had no idea
- 7:15Speaker 1: and nothing was done. It's just a billion dollars. I mean,
- 7:18Speaker 1: come on, why do you think? And is this a bill?
- 7:21Speaker 1: What's a billion dollars these days?
- 7:24Speaker 2: Please?
- 7:25Speaker 1: Unbelievable. Certain people get a pass. Sadly, I think people
- 7:30Speaker 1: will get hurt or worse. You will see crime rising
- 7:33Speaker 1: all over the city. And now Zoran is insisting on
- 7:37Speaker 1: pushing to raise taxes for those free buses and childcare.
- 7:42Speaker 3: You know, I've said time and again that I believe
- 7:44Speaker 3: these are the most straightforward ways that we can actually
- 7:46Speaker 3: fund universal childcare, making buses fast and free. And I've
- 7:50Speaker 3: said that the two clear ways to do so raising
- 7:52Speaker 3: personal income taxes on the top one percent by two percent,
- 7:55Speaker 3: and raising the corporate tax to match that of New
- 7:56Speaker 3: Jersey's corporate tax of eleven point five percent. Now, if
- 7:59Speaker 3: there are other ways to raise this money to fund
- 8:01Speaker 3: this agenda, the most important thing is that we fund
- 8:03Speaker 3: the agenda.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the most important thing, funding the agenda. You
- 8:06Speaker 1: know what the translation of that is, let's get money
- 8:09Speaker 1: out of people's pockets and into my agenda.
- 8:11Speaker 2: That's what it is.
- 8:12Speaker 1: So some bad news for Zoram Governor Hokol, who controls
- 8:16Speaker 1: the purse strings with the state legislature. By the way,
- 8:19Speaker 1: not you already said there is no money to provide
- 8:22Speaker 1: free buses. I cannot set forth a plan right now
- 8:26Speaker 1: that takes money out of a system that relies on
- 8:28Speaker 1: the fares of the buses and the subways. Oh and
- 8:32Speaker 1: as for that universal healthcare that you wanted to provide,
- 8:35Speaker 1: for free hokl also said there's no money for that, Zoron, sorry,
- 8:39Speaker 1: and she's repeatedly pledged there would be no increase in
- 8:42Speaker 1: taxes full stop. But mister Mumdannie is unrelenting.
- 8:46Speaker 3: The most important thing is not how we fund it,
- 8:49Speaker 3: but that we fund it. I think these are the
- 8:50Speaker 3: most direct ways to do so. But any funding stream
- 8:53Speaker 3: that would fund these programs, that is one that we
- 8:56Speaker 3: would welcome.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Hmm, Well, it ain't happening. There's no money. You can't
- 9:00Speaker 1: pull like what do they say, you can't get blud
- 9:02Speaker 1: from a stone. And if you heard Larry MENTI I
- 9:05Speaker 1: listened to Larry every day, just heard him a little
- 9:06Speaker 1: while ago saying this. He said, if you can't get
- 9:08Speaker 1: money for the buses, and you can't get money for
- 9:10Speaker 1: the universal health care, we're gonna get the moundy for
- 9:12Speaker 1: the free supermarkets there, Zoron, it's not America. This is
- 9:17Speaker 1: not a communist state. And yes, when it gets down
- 9:20Speaker 1: to free, just walk in and grab stuff like it's
- 9:22Speaker 1: a CVS. And you will only arrest people who steal
- 9:25Speaker 1: more than one thousand dollars worth of stuff at a time.
- 9:28Speaker 1: This is no longer America. This is no longer America.
- 9:31Speaker 1: It's a system that cannot work. I love how the
- 9:33Speaker 1: left loves to use terms like sustainable. How is it
- 9:36Speaker 1: sustainable if people just walk in and take stuff for free,
- 9:39Speaker 1: and walk out to a bus and get on the
- 9:41Speaker 1: bus for free and drop off your kid. You're going
- 9:44Speaker 1: to trust someplace to take care of your child for
- 9:47Speaker 1: free and you have no say in what goes on
- 9:50Speaker 1: there when you're gone. Yeah, good luck with that, Zoron.
- 9:53Speaker 1: What happens the first time there's a lawsuit with one
- 9:55Speaker 1: of these free universal healthcare is because somebody's child accidentally
- 9:59Speaker 1: falls in, gets hurt or gets there's an accusation of abuse,
- 10:03Speaker 1: physical or sexual. What's going to happen then with this
- 10:06Speaker 1: free universal healthcare?
- 10:07Speaker 2: Z are on?
- 10:07Speaker 1: I'm just curious about that. Seven ten wo r The

- 10:20Speaker 1: This is Ken Rozzatto in for him and what looks
- 10:22Speaker 1: like the ultimate middle finger to incoming anti Israel mayor Mamdani.
- 10:28Speaker 1: The current mayor, Eric Adams is off two Israel right now.
- 10:31Speaker 1: It's a final trip there as mayor of New York.
- 10:34Speaker 1: But of course, of all the places he could have gone,
- 10:36Speaker 1: he chose Israel. Remember, the highest concentration of Jews in
- 10:40Speaker 1: the entire world outside of Tel Aviv is right here
- 10:44Speaker 1: in New York. They are part of the backbone of
- 10:47Speaker 1: this city. That's why it is so shocking that a
- 10:49Speaker 1: man who has such anti Israel policies and beliefs is
- 10:53Speaker 1: now the mayor of this city. And remember, Mamdani has
- 10:57Speaker 1: threatened to have Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin and Yahoo arrested
- 11:01Speaker 1: should he set foot.
- 11:02Speaker 2: In New York.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Remember, though Zoron, that the Prime Minister would have diplomatic immunity,
- 11:08Speaker 1: and if you touch him, there would be an international
- 11:12Speaker 1: scene like nobody's business, and you would have to deal
- 11:15Speaker 1: with our federal government coming in guns of blason if
- 11:18Speaker 1: you touch the Prime Minister of Israel. So I'd almost
- 11:22Speaker 1: like to see Mayor Mamdani try it. I would love
- 11:25Speaker 1: to see him try it, because he would probably get
- 11:27Speaker 1: arrested as a result. Seven ten w R The Voice
- 11:31Speaker 1: of New York. So another leftist lunatic has made headlines
- 11:34Speaker 1: this week. This Tama guy showed up at the Newark
- 11:38Speaker 1: office of Acting US Attorney Alena Habba. This happened Wednesday evening.
- 11:42Speaker 1: The FBI says the guy originally he walks up to
- 11:45Speaker 1: the building. It's a secure building. He walks up to
- 11:47Speaker 1: the building with a big old bat, goes, you know,
- 11:50Speaker 1: up to the metal detector. Yeah, I want to come in.
- 11:52Speaker 1: First of all, it's after hours. Secondly he has a bat,
- 11:55Speaker 1: All right it's and third it's downtown New York. Good
- 11:57Speaker 1: luck with all three of those things. So apparently security said, ah, me,
- 12:01Speaker 1: thinks you'd better walk outside, dude, and he left, comes
- 12:04Speaker 1: back five minutes later, d like he was never there
- 12:07Speaker 1: the first time. This time he left the bat on
- 12:09Speaker 1: the sidewalk. And here's what's even more amazing. Security let
- 12:13Speaker 1: him in. Yeah, good idea. So the guy then went
- 12:17Speaker 1: to the floor where Miss Habba's office is and began
- 12:20Speaker 1: yelling incoherently and smashing property. It is unclear whether he
- 12:24Speaker 1: made specific threats against Miss Habba, but why else would
- 12:27Speaker 1: he go to her floor after hours and go to
- 12:29Speaker 1: her office. So the cops are now trying to find
- 12:32Speaker 1: the guy. Shouldn't be hard. Just look for the guy
- 12:33Speaker 1: with the bat.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Uh have you heard this?
- 12:36Speaker 1: Sixth story wealthy so called sniper tourists. Yeah, listen up.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Sniper tourists allegedly paid ninety thousand dollars apiece to shoot
- 12:48Speaker 1: human beings during human safari trips to Sarajevo in the
- 12:52Speaker 1: nineteen nineties, and they paid an extra fee if they
- 12:55Speaker 1: wanted to shoot children. Listen to this insane This is
- 13:02Speaker 1: according to some crazy claims being looked into now by
- 13:05Speaker 1: Italian prosecutors. This is actually being thought of as really
- 13:09Speaker 1: happening because there are a number of people who claim
- 13:12Speaker 1: it did not just one. The investigation began after an
- 13:16Speaker 1: Italian writer reported that he uncovered evidence that wealthy gun
- 13:19Speaker 1: enthusiasts I guess had too much to do with their money.
- 13:22Speaker 1: They were dubbed sniper tourists. They paid Bosnian Serb forces
- 13:26Speaker 1: for the chance to gun down residents at random. During
- 13:30Speaker 1: the four year siege of the city. More than ten
- 13:32Speaker 1: thousand people were killed not by the sniper tourists, but
- 13:35Speaker 1: in Sarajevo by overall snipers and shelling from ninety two
- 13:39Speaker 1: to ninety six because they had the Balkan Wars. It's
- 13:42Speaker 1: not known if those numbers, though, include anyone who may
- 13:45Speaker 1: have been part of this alleged human Safari story. But
- 13:48Speaker 1: you know they're going to be looking more into this,
- 13:49Speaker 1: and that is sick if it is in fact true.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Seven ten war The Voice of New York Friday Morning,
- 13:55Speaker 1: Ken Rozzatto in for Mark and did you hear that
- 13:57Speaker 1: lawmakers in DC were making twenty grand each at the
- 14:00Speaker 1: expense of American taxpayers while the government was shut down
- 14:05Speaker 1: over the forty three days of Democrats wouldn't even consider
- 14:08Speaker 1: advancing the continuing resolution. Okay, it cost the economy fifteen
- 14:12Speaker 1: billion dollars a week, and by federal law.
- 14:15Speaker 2: They had to be paid.
- 14:17Speaker 1: The constitution actually demands it. Although a number of elected
- 14:20Speaker 1: officials did say they would forego collecting their salary, but
- 14:23Speaker 1: most collected. Yeah, think about that during that time. That's
- 14:27Speaker 1: why they had no problem letting it keep going on
- 14:29Speaker 1: and on while TSA agents and air traffic controllers and
- 14:33Speaker 1: people trying to collect their snap to feed their kids
- 14:35Speaker 1: didn't get their money. Pretty disgusting. And the likes of
- 14:38Speaker 1: CHUCKI Chuck Schumer were behind keeping the government shut and
- 14:42Speaker 1: by the way, the Democrats gained nothing from it during

- 14:58Speaker 1: She did a story in ro Rolling Stone. She says
- 15:01Speaker 1: she is lucky to be alive. There's a story in
- 15:02Speaker 1: Rolling Stone that says that while she was filming A
- 15:05Speaker 1: Star Is Born back in twenty seventeen, she ended up
- 15:08Speaker 1: suffering a psychotic break. She says she had to do

- 15:22Speaker 1: I have met her parents in the past. They're lovely people.
