- 0:58Speaker 3: the small talk is but.
- 1:03Speaker 4: I I did come back from my my son's baseball game.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Kids hitting it dude. He had two singles and a
- 1:09Speaker 4: double and eyed to leave a little early.
- 1:10Speaker 1: That's amazing. So maybe more than I ever hit it ever.
- 1:14Speaker 3: It's been fun. Perhaps we've just been having such a
- 1:17Speaker 3: good time.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Great, but these guys, they are all, you know, second
- 1:20Speaker 4: graders going into third grade, and just like once it
- 1:22Speaker 4: hits about an hour like attention spans are just leaving understandable, Yeah,
- 1:29Speaker 4: big time. And that's about where we were at when
- 1:31Speaker 4: I left, so things were already starting to get a
- 1:33Speaker 4: little little little. Yes, they're just off, Like there's this
- 1:39Speaker 4: little kid with the soccer ball and they're just all
- 1:42Speaker 4: just playing.
- 1:43Speaker 1: The game is going on? What are you doing?
- 1:47Speaker 3: I mean, it's funny. It really is funny.
- 1:51Speaker 1: That's funny. Well, I can remember being in youth sports
- 1:53Speaker 1: and like singing to myself constantly.
- 1:56Speaker 4: So that is my son.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I can remember that. Well, well, let's hope he
- 2:01Speaker 1: turns out different. It's just all.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Dude, it's so funny.
- 2:05Speaker 4: He's just so much more animated than I ever was
- 2:08Speaker 4: as a kid. Like I was pretty like, all right,
- 2:11Speaker 4: let's do this. We're here for a purpose, let's go.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Well, he's shy too.
- 2:16Speaker 3: And I was shy, yeah on top once.
- 2:19Speaker 4: I was comfy with the rest of the folks. But
- 2:25Speaker 4: he's just so funny, dude, he doesn't great.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I love that. I love that. I think that's great.
- 2:30Speaker 3: It's really fun to one of the games.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I really do.
- 2:33Speaker 3: He is a riot.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Okay, we need to make that hand very funny. I
- 2:37Speaker 1: really do want to do that be super fun. Yeah,
- 2:40Speaker 1: how about movies. I've been watching any movies? You know what?
- 2:43Speaker 4: I actually finished one earlier, this this very very day.
- 2:48Speaker 4: It was early in the morning, and I finished a
- 2:52Speaker 4: movie called Normal. Have you seen Normal?
- 2:55Speaker 1: Wait? Is that about the small town in Minnesota? Right?
- 2:59Speaker 1: The Odin Kirk movie.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Yes, I have Bob Odenkirk the theater. Well now you
- 3:04Speaker 4: can rent it yep. So yeah, it's set in a
- 3:08Speaker 4: place called Normal, Minnesota. I didn't even look to see
- 3:10Speaker 4: if there is that town. I'm assuming it was made up.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I think it's fake. Yeah, I certainly don't know it.
- 3:16Speaker 4: But for people who haven't seen it or don't know
- 3:18Speaker 4: what it's about, Bob Odenkirk becomes the interim sheriff of
- 3:21Speaker 4: this small Minnesotan town and it's basically overrun by a gang.
- 3:25Speaker 4: There's a ton of violence and super super graphic death scenes.
- 3:30Speaker 4: So if you're squeamish about that kind of stuff, steer
- 3:34Speaker 4: clear from this movie for sure. But dude, I am
- 3:38Speaker 4: totally here for Bob Odenkirk's new career as an action star.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I would not have guessed this was the ten never,
- 3:47Speaker 1: but he's.
- 3:47Speaker 4: So good in these you're not expecting him to be
- 3:52Speaker 4: able to kick ass and he I mean, now you
- 3:54Speaker 4: should start to expect that because he has in three movies.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I feel like he's going to be like, oh okay,
- 4:00Speaker 1: time for a very silly comedy again. Now like he'll
- 4:03Speaker 1: just you know, just Curveball after Curveball. I thought this
- 4:07Speaker 1: movie was bonkers.
- 4:08Speaker 3: It was bonkers in a very fun way.
- 4:10Speaker 4: It kind of felt like a funny version of like
- 4:13Speaker 4: Assault on Precinct thirteen a little bit.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah, how about that?
- 4:16Speaker 4: Yeah, not exactly, but it has that feel and just
- 4:20Speaker 4: that kind of like dark, like cold feel too, kind
- 4:24Speaker 4: of a.
- 4:25Speaker 1: What was that movie called Magnificent seven? Was that the
- 4:28Speaker 1: there was a spoof one. I don't mean that one.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I mean Ridiculous six. Yeah, six is the spoof one
- 4:34Speaker 1: manicence kind of Magnificent seventy, you know, a little bit
- 4:38Speaker 1: like since it's so insular into that one location. But yeah,
- 4:43Speaker 1: really fun though.
- 4:44Speaker 4: It was fun, interesting graphic the.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Way I thought it was going to go at any point, it.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Was all over the place.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Lena Hetty, I think that is how you pronounce your name.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Sure from Game of Thron I think you're right. Does
- 4:58Speaker 4: a pretty good Minnesota next she was kind of the
- 5:00Speaker 4: only one who went for it. Yeah, and we even
- 5:03Speaker 4: got some Henry Winkler action in this movie, which was fun.
- 5:07Speaker 4: But it's funny, it's dark, it's crazy violent. I enjoyed it,
- 5:11Speaker 4: love it, I love it.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Yeah, what about you? I thought she was funny. Sorry,
- 5:16Speaker 1: just real quick. Our buddy Dave was like, I didn't
- 5:19Speaker 1: know it was her until three quarters of the way
- 5:21Speaker 1: through the shit It's like, I get it. I get it.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Yeah, dark, dark black hair.
- 5:27Speaker 1: We just haven't seen her for a minute. She was
- 5:29Speaker 1: you had that crazy accent. Yeah, anyway, agreed though, Yeah,
- 5:34Speaker 1: she was great. I watched a film. Jump in at
- 5:37Speaker 1: any point. If you know the film, this will be
- 5:39Speaker 1: a fun little game. This is a film from nineteen
- 5:42Speaker 1: hundred ninety three.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Oh gosh, that's my wheelhouse.
- 5:46Speaker 1: It's your wheelhouse.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Yep, it's been ten years.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Comedy slash drama and dramedymedy as it were. Yep, pretty
- 5:59Speaker 1: pretty signific. Scenes take place in a conservatory of sorts.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Is that the right word? No? No, sorry, I think
- 6:10Speaker 1: I said the what's the where you have the plants
- 6:12Speaker 1: in the winter time? Is that the conservative that's a
- 6:15Speaker 1: different kind of conservatory than okay, but yeah, there's lots
- 6:20Speaker 1: of plants around not biotel. No, this is what I'd
- 6:24Speaker 1: never seen before. It does. I'm trying to think of
- 6:28Speaker 1: other clues. I should have more clues. Uh, by Ron Underwood,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I don't know if that right. Underwood.
- 6:39Speaker 4: We know he did Tremors, and we know he did
- 6:43Speaker 4: the other one that we just City Slickers.
- 6:45Speaker 1: It came up very recently. It came up on that episode.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Yeah, because of all of his stuff.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Uh huh, this movie did yeap? What else did he do?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Just tell you the name of the movie.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Why don't you just tell me the name of the movie.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I ran out of clues. I was Tarten Souls.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, yeah, I forgot about that.
- 7:07Speaker 1: We just talked about it.
- 7:08Speaker 4: That was sure did tell me everything.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 7:13Speaker 4: I adored this. What a wonderful little film. This is
- 7:17Speaker 4: really cute.
- 7:18Speaker 1: It felt very early nineties, you know, like yeah, also
- 7:22Speaker 1: kind of along that like, oh god, you devil a
- 7:25Speaker 1: little bit territory. Oh what was the other one where
- 7:29Speaker 1: they took over bodies? That doesn't matter. I really really
- 7:34Speaker 1: liked it. I thought it was full of a lot
- 7:36Speaker 1: of heart, as in the name.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Yeah, that cast was so funny, dude.
- 7:41Speaker 1: The cast was awesome. I forgot how much I love
- 7:44Speaker 1: Charles Broden.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Look, I'm just so good this weird chemistry, didn't they
- 7:49Speaker 4: It was just fun.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Like it shouldn't work, but it works really well because
- 7:53Speaker 1: Tom Sizemore is this like lovable scamp who is like
- 7:56Speaker 1: kind of a dirt bag, but they do love him. Here.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Sedgwick is great. Alfrey Woodward, I thought she was like
- 8:04Speaker 1: water Woodard, Sorry Woodard. Yes, I thought she was like
- 8:08Speaker 1: the Highlight.
- 8:09Speaker 3: She's so sweet. She was just she had that little
- 8:12Speaker 3: song she would sing to her son.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Yes that bug hug a bug, hug a bug. Yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 1: I thought was great. I thought it was written in
- 8:20Speaker 1: a really fun way. We obviously had Robert Downey Junior
- 8:23Speaker 1: and then Elizabeth shu in there. Yeah, they love interesting
- 8:27Speaker 1: just being lovely and wonderful. And then that dated dating
- 8:31Speaker 1: came up.
- 8:31Speaker 4: That's why I came up so much.
- 8:33Speaker 1: That was why the one that Yeah, for sure, I
- 8:36Speaker 1: really like this movie. I don't know why I missed
- 8:38Speaker 1: it for so long. Like this, I feel like not
- 8:40Speaker 1: a lot of people have ever heard of this movie.
- 8:42Speaker 1: It's I'm definitely gonna watch it with my mom. Because
- 8:45Speaker 1: I think she'll really like it, like it's it's wonderful,
- 8:47Speaker 1: the perfect amount of like heart and also like shtick
- 8:50Speaker 1: and they do the whole walk like a man thing.
- 8:54Speaker 4: I was obsessed with ten years old because of that.
- 8:57Speaker 1: So I love that song. That scene where they're in
- 8:59Speaker 1: the back room and and he's just jamming out and
- 9:03Speaker 1: that teacher. It's so Funnyeh, it's wonderful. You were totally right.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 9:08Speaker 4: It was that makes me so happy.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I love that absolute delight. I was like, I need
- 9:14Speaker 1: to watch a movie, and I was like, ah, they
- 9:15Speaker 1: have recommended this so many times. There's you know, I
- 9:19Speaker 1: pretty much assumed I was going to love it once
- 9:22Speaker 1: you and Benny and Renegade all said it, you know,
- 9:26Speaker 1: so many times. So yeah, I watched that. It was lovely.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I did have to rent it, so if you want
- 9:31Speaker 1: to see it, you got to go out and rent it.
- 9:32Speaker 3: But oh I loved it.
- 9:34Speaker 1: It is It's worth a watch for sure. It's it's
- 9:36Speaker 1: like an hour forty or something like that.
- 9:39Speaker 4: So yeah, you're in your out.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Yeah it's nice. Okay, it's a heart. It's really great,
- 9:44Speaker 1: And there definitely was some boohoos for.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Oh I remember booming every time?
- 9:50Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but yeah, I loved it a lot. It
- 9:53Speaker 1: was really great, love it, loving it? Uh, what do
- 9:56Speaker 1: you mean streaming?
- 9:58Speaker 4: Mine also deals with ghosts. Ghost I'm scarier than yours.
- 10:03Speaker 4: It's not his heartwarming, scary and funny. It's the new
- 10:08Speaker 4: series on Apple TV Plus called Widows Bay. I have
- 10:12Speaker 4: been getting really good reviews. People are loving people are
- 10:17Speaker 4: loving it. It stars Matthew Reese, who we love from
- 10:20Speaker 4: like the Americans, but so good. He plays the mayor
- 10:26Speaker 4: of this small town. He's hoping to put it on
- 10:29Speaker 4: the map. He wants like tourism to happen.
- 10:31Speaker 1: But the only.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Problem is is that it is like super haunted and
- 10:36Speaker 4: it's like a recent thing.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Sure, sure, it's like.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Just coming in and he doesn't really know about it.
- 10:42Speaker 4: He's not from there originally, but Stephen Root is from
- 10:47Speaker 4: there originally.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Wonderful who is?
- 10:50Speaker 3: He picks the coolest stuff too, He's the world.
- 10:52Speaker 4: I just want to watch every single thing he's ever
- 10:54Speaker 4: been in because he picks the coolest stuff.
- 10:56Speaker 1: That's a good idea, But he's been a lot.
- 10:58Speaker 4: He's been in so many things it would be you're
- 11:00Speaker 4: taking worth it, yes, But he plays this kind of
- 11:03Speaker 4: grizzled veteran who he's seen all the horrors that happened
- 11:08Speaker 4: in the pasture, and so he's like trying to warn everybody. Yeah,
- 11:13Speaker 4: but like he's playing it so serious and he's so
- 11:16Speaker 4: funny that it's a very weird, fun just vibe of
- 11:22Speaker 4: funny and horror.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Yeah, like you kind of don't know what to think
- 11:25Speaker 1: at any moment, kind of you keep you on your toes.
- 11:28Speaker 1: That's kind of fun.
- 11:29Speaker 4: But a lot of comedy, okay, and some real scary
- 11:33Speaker 4: that you're like, whoa.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Why did that just happen? Yeah? Yeah, okay, I like that.
- 11:39Speaker 4: It's really fun, dude. I know, I've only seen three episodes,
- 11:44Speaker 4: and they think they're right around like the fortiesh minute mark,
- 11:46Speaker 4: so they're not like super long. But yeah, I've been
- 11:50Speaker 4: enjoying it, like eight of them or something. I didn't
- 11:52Speaker 4: look it up. Yeah, but I've only seen the three.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Nice. Yeah, that's cool. Yeah, I really I definitely intend
- 11:59Speaker 1: to check it out.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it right now. That's from the critics.
- 12:03Speaker 1: That's awesome. Yeah, very cool.
- 12:06Speaker 3: It's very different. I've never seen anything like it. What
- 12:09Speaker 3: have you been streaming?
- 12:11Speaker 1: Prime Video? So my brother was hanging out with me
- 12:14Speaker 1: this last week and Prime Video had the new Naked
- 12:18Speaker 1: Gun and we were just looking for something to be silly.
- 12:22Speaker 4: So it was so fun that is the movie that
- 12:26Speaker 4: we should we should do an episode on. Oh I
- 12:28Speaker 4: think we wrote that down, but le we should, right,
- 12:33Speaker 4: that's a great idea.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Yes, in fact, that might. At one point we were like,
- 12:37Speaker 1: what's we just said one? And we forgot I think
- 12:40Speaker 1: it was that. Uh, it is on Prime now and
- 12:43Speaker 1: I would be happy to We got to have a
- 12:46Speaker 1: really fun chat that about because the first Naked Gun
- 12:49Speaker 1: was one of the movies at our grandma's house when
- 12:51Speaker 1: we would go hang out over there.
- 12:52Speaker 3: So we watched it a lot sha.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Police Academy, you know, when we were probably way too
- 12:57Speaker 1: young to be enjoying these things. But yeah, we watched
- 13:01Speaker 1: the new one and man, we just had a great time.
- 13:04Speaker 1: And I because I'd only seen it the once in
- 13:07Speaker 1: the theater, I think opening night, so it felt very
- 13:10Speaker 1: fresh again. I'd forgot a bunch of the jokes. I
- 13:13Speaker 1: still think the best joke is She'd make any man
- 13:17Speaker 1: long for the brown or whatever the hell it's. I mean,
- 13:20Speaker 1: it's so funny.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Talking about he wishes he was the toilet seat.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Oh my god, that's unbelievable, incredible. For whatever reason, that
- 13:29Speaker 4: chili dog scene killed me too, like really dumb to it.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I had seven more that day.
- 13:38Speaker 3: When yeah, when he says, don't do it talking to him,
- 13:42Speaker 3: Oh my.
- 13:42Speaker 1: God, do it very relatable.
- 13:47Speaker 3: It was good.
- 13:47Speaker 4: It was in front of me.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Oh but yeah, so so funny. This was the Kiva Schaeffer,
- 13:53Speaker 1: which I know we've talked about, and it sounds like
- 13:55Speaker 1: we're going to talk about it again at some point,
- 13:56Speaker 1: so I'm not going to say too much more other
- 13:58Speaker 1: than it's on Prime now. And if you are looking
- 14:01Speaker 1: for just like a thousand jokes in an hour and
- 14:05Speaker 1: twenty minutes or whatever ends up being in a movie,
- 14:09Speaker 1: this is the movie for you. Like, and none of
- 14:12Speaker 1: them are too raunchy or anything like that. It's all
- 14:15Speaker 1: pretty silly.
- 14:16Speaker 4: It's silly, silly, Like they have a gag where every
- 14:20Speaker 4: couple seconds they hand them another coffee and it's just
- 14:23Speaker 4: a little bigger than the other one, and you're.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Just like, what is what is happening?
- 14:27Speaker 4: Yeah, but you notice it and you're like, God, this
- 14:30Speaker 4: is so silly.
- 14:30Speaker 1: It's so so great. I just love it. They got
- 14:33Speaker 1: the tone of the naked gun stuff just perfect perfect, Yeah,
- 14:37Speaker 1: a good call. But yeah, so I recommend it to everyone.
- 14:39Speaker 1: If you haven't seen it, go see it and you
- 14:42Speaker 1: might get to hear us talk more about it at
- 14:43Speaker 1: some point. Heck, you super super fun. What do you
- 14:46Speaker 1: think should we do? If you plug runs here?
- 14:48Speaker 3: Let's plug it in.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I guess give this as always on the Twitter machine.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Where're at to have an endorsement with a Z? You
- 14:54Speaker 1: know AT's go to Facebook dot com slash the have endorsement.

- 15:05Speaker 1: crew and hang out the spot to.

- 15:45Speaker 4: we decide to come up with our top five favorite
- 15:49Speaker 4: R rated comedies.
- 15:51Speaker 1: So great, a lot to.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Choose, so many many, but honestly, so many of my
- 15:57Speaker 4: absolute favorites are PG.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Thirteen. Yeah, yeah, that's true.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I've figured out that is absolutely true.
- 16:04Speaker 1: But I love a lot of these hard are ones.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Oh I do too.
- 16:07Speaker 4: I mean I could have done, but you do at
- 16:09Speaker 4: least twenty for sure?
- 16:10Speaker 1: For sure? Yeah for sure. But yeah, yeah, it'll be
- 16:12Speaker 1: super super fun and we will look forward to that. Greg.
- 16:17Speaker 1: We are here today. What do I do now? I
- 16:20Speaker 1: talked about what we're here today to do. We're here
- 16:22Speaker 1: to talk a little movie from I didn't look it up,
- 16:26Speaker 1: and I'm.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Twenty eleven, fifteenth anniversary and.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Eleven that seems far away already. We're here to talk
- 16:35Speaker 1: a little Horrible Bosses with you guys, and I'm just
- 16:40Speaker 1: gonna say it now. This movie is braunchy. So if
- 16:43Speaker 1: you don't hear that, this is not your episode, we
- 16:47Speaker 1: love you. God bless come back next time, I know,
- 16:51Speaker 1: but turn it off or if you have kids in
- 16:53Speaker 1: the car, my good. I mean we'll still cluck stuff.
- 16:55Speaker 4: But yeah, we were texting with our guests, who are
- 16:59Speaker 4: just like I love so many of these lines. But
- 17:01Speaker 4: I mean, I don't think I can repeat one thing
- 17:03Speaker 4: that Jennifer anist instead.
- 17:04Speaker 1: No, no, no, I found one I can do. But
- 17:06Speaker 1: even that, it's it's pushing it. It's pushing it. It
- 17:10Speaker 1: is really fun though, So if you want to hang
- 17:12Speaker 1: out and slum it with us, we appreciate it. I mean,
- 17:15Speaker 1: you're already kind of slumming it with us, but for
- 17:17Speaker 1: sure stick around. But we decided that guess that we
- 17:23Speaker 1: that we mentioned he loves to slum it. I mean
- 17:26Speaker 1: he is. His mind is in the gutter all the time.
- 17:28Speaker 1: His beautiful mensa mind is in the gutter constantly. Uh
- 17:33Speaker 1: you know you love him. We do too. Give it
- 17:35Speaker 1: up for Crez Chatham. What's up Chatham?
- 17:39Speaker 3: Oh hey, oh man? Can you see me talking? I
- 17:46Speaker 3: can only see you too. I just realized, Yeah.
- 17:49Speaker 1: That's great. A medical issue or is it a zoom thing?
- 17:53Speaker 3: I think it's medical. Actually, I just as soon as
- 17:56Speaker 3: a clapped I can't see is that okay, Oh no,
- 18:00Speaker 3: that's fine. I don't think it's an emergency. We have
- 18:02Speaker 3: we can do the thing. It's fine.
- 18:03Speaker 1: You didn't different pop, Who is.
- 18:07Speaker 3: My eyes going out? No more? Oh that's fine.
- 18:11Speaker 4: How are you temporary blindness?
- 18:14Speaker 3: Well, aside from you can't see, it's been pretty great. Yeah.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Things are really really heating up this summer, not just
- 18:23Speaker 3: temperaturely is it a word, but yeah it is. I've
- 18:27Speaker 3: got things going on. We got all kinds of stuff.
- 18:29Speaker 3: I got shows that will have passed by the time
- 18:31Speaker 3: you guys hear this, which will be sad for you.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And there's one tonight, but.
- 18:36Speaker 3: There's one to night. So if you got this early.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a where east Lancing?
- 18:41Speaker 3: You said, Yeah, East Lancing if you look up Backyard
- 18:44Speaker 3: Bash and last year super fun, it's super fun. Yeah,
- 18:48Speaker 3: yeah me there. I think I think uh one Up
- 18:52Speaker 3: Duo will also be there. I think they'll be doing
- 18:54Speaker 3: stuff and every East will be there in twenty a
- 18:58Speaker 3: bunch of hardists and we're all just, uh, it's gonna
- 19:01Speaker 3: be really great. I'm there for just helping everybody out. Honestly.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Jeffrey is like, do you want to come play whatever?
- 19:07Speaker 3: And I was like yeah, do I need to know
- 19:09Speaker 3: any of the songs? I like it. The one time
- 19:13Speaker 3: we did that, I went and, uh, uh, what's it?
- 19:16Speaker 1: Uh?
- 19:18Speaker 3: Josh Kelly. Josh Kelly was there doing his stuff and
- 19:21Speaker 3: that was really fun. And he was like, hey, do
- 19:24Speaker 3: you guys want to come up? And like Tim was there,
- 19:25Speaker 3: you know, we all Jeffrey and he's like, you want
- 19:28Speaker 3: to come up and play something? I was like totally,
- 19:30Speaker 3: I didn't know anything. So he's like, let's let's get
- 19:33Speaker 3: going on this. I was like you start, you know, yeah,
- 19:41Speaker 3: like I'll pick you know, but it was pretty that.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Those are my favorite. I remember telling my dad that
- 19:46Speaker 3: one time when I was like, he's like, you have
- 19:49Speaker 3: a show tomorrow. What are you gonna do? I was
- 19:51Speaker 3: like I don't know. He's like what do you mean.
- 19:54Speaker 3: He's like, you know, they'll just still see when we
- 19:57Speaker 3: get there, it's fine, and he was like him start
- 20:00Speaker 3: this wedding. Yeah, he couldn't understand. It's like, I was like,
- 20:03Speaker 3: what do you mean. I was like, we'll just get
- 20:04Speaker 3: up there and do songs. People just that's fine, and.
- 20:07Speaker 1: He's like, I be wonderful.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Yeah, he was really having a hard time. And that's
- 20:11Speaker 3: my favorite. But also yeah, I mean I wouldn't want.
- 20:14Speaker 1: To do it.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Well, I can't say I wouldn't do an acapella show
- 20:16Speaker 3: that way. Since you have done that, we've made stuff up.
- 20:19Speaker 3: And that's definitely hard to just be like, yeah, this
- 20:23Speaker 3: is all going to work, because you have you know
- 20:25Speaker 3: all the parts, and you know, two guys pick the
- 20:28Speaker 3: same one all the time. It's just really difficult but scary.
- 20:31Speaker 1: It is also the hardest acapella Ga gibber I went
- 20:33Speaker 1: from the van, from the plane into the van, onto stage,
- 20:37Speaker 1: onto rehearsal.
- 20:39Speaker 3: I love that so much. If you guys know the
- 20:42Speaker 3: Alley Cats, you know about them. We do, of course.
- 20:45Speaker 3: So my favorite thing is that when they give you
- 20:48Speaker 3: your first show, I'm pretty sure it's just everybody just
- 20:51Speaker 3: because it's that they like to watch it happen. But like,
- 20:54Speaker 3: I know the parts kind of, there's rehearsal sort of
- 20:57Speaker 3: before they've never taught me the choreography on so there's
- 21:01Speaker 3: all this motion on stage and I'm just looking around.
- 21:04Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, so this is a snap like this,
- 21:06Speaker 3: and then I okay, there's a spin all right, and
- 21:09Speaker 3: they just they love that, they love the everyone and
- 21:13Speaker 3: it's very fun.
- 21:14Speaker 1: The show I did with them was a showcase and
- 21:16Speaker 1: we did it, so that was something like.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Yeah, they even do that for when they're trying to
- 21:25Speaker 4: get yeah.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Gigs, that's part of it for them.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Crazy. It's kind of a kind of respect.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I love that. Yeah, that's just that's we're going to
- 21:34Speaker 3: be fine, because.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I mean it was really fun, like they were nice
- 21:39Speaker 1: the whole time, but it was definitely like okay, yeah, do.
- 21:43Speaker 3: You know that. I wasn't here before. They don't even
- 21:46Speaker 3: keep track. They're just those are my favorite because it's
- 21:49Speaker 3: just you know, it's not my name. We're good.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I hear you, I love I hear you. Well. The
- 21:56Speaker 1: ones that he definitely prepares for, well, you can go
- 21:58Speaker 1: to the Backyard Bash also Oregon Getaway, Timposts Music dot
- 22:02Speaker 1: com uh and the Patreon dot com slash Christiana.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Yeah, lots of stuff going on all the time, so
- 22:09Speaker 3: I love it.
- 22:11Speaker 1: The inner workings of his mind.
- 22:13Speaker 3: There's a lot going on in there, and there's so
- 22:15Speaker 3: much you guys, it's dark. It's dark. There's always at
- 22:18Speaker 3: least like two or three songs playing simultaneously. Also, so
- 22:21Speaker 3: I'm just having to like, I guess what, you know,
- 22:24Speaker 3: I guess and I have to tune into whatever whatever
- 22:28Speaker 3: I want to listen to, so I have very good
- 22:30Speaker 3: tune out abilities I can.
- 22:33Speaker 4: Yeah, we need to start now thinking about doing our
- 22:36Speaker 4: theme song.
- 22:40Speaker 3: That was my favorite part. It's like that, wasn't it all? Right? Next,
- 22:44Speaker 3: let's try that again.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Did anybody remember who took what?
- 22:48Speaker 1: Absolutely not. But to be fair, that one was hard
- 22:51Speaker 1: because no one had ever sang it, because usually it's
- 22:53Speaker 1: like someone knows the solo. Yeah, we sang it once
- 22:57Speaker 1: in a studio.
- 22:58Speaker 4: And separately different times.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:02Speaker 3: I loved that so much.
- 23:03Speaker 1: It was fun.
- 23:05Speaker 3: When you say does anyone remember what they did? You
- 23:07Speaker 3: assume we knew in the first place. That's the hard part.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Yea, to listen to it because we have we have
- 23:17Speaker 4: that episode. We can go back check and see what
- 23:19Speaker 4: we did.
- 23:19Speaker 1: And I think I played it on the episode, right. Yeah. Yeah,
- 23:24Speaker 1: we should also think about recording because that didn't go
- 23:26Speaker 1: great last night.
- 23:27Speaker 3: We got that thing about this time, I think anyway.
- 23:30Speaker 3: But anyway, that's the we're.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Here to talk about something. Maybe you guys didn't experience
- 23:39Speaker 1: a lot because you're you're both men of the independent contractor.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Style were to talk about some horrible bosses.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Right, yeah, well, that's kind of fun. We should go
- 23:49Speaker 4: through maybe not well, name our horrible bosses. I'm just
- 23:54Speaker 4: say terrible jobs that we've done.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Yeah, that'd be fun. I'd be a lot like baby.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and we've done some jobs. I bet right, a lot.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I don't really have a job.
- 24:05Speaker 4: I don't, but you have done a job, not it
- 24:10Speaker 4: was your worst job?
- 24:11Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a great question. Uh. I did kind of
- 24:16Speaker 1: like it. But being a teller at Wells Bargo sucked
- 24:19Speaker 1: because he had to sell stuff.
- 24:22Speaker 4: That's not ideal for sure, none, and that was there
- 24:27Speaker 4: was that whole scandal like right after you left pretty
- 24:30Speaker 4: much well.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Dude, and I got remember I'm sure I told you this.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I got interviewed for like six hours because they thought
- 24:39Speaker 1: I was cheating.
- 24:39Speaker 4: At one point might say, meanwhile, they had everyone else
- 24:43Speaker 4: cheat else everyone.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no I love that.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I could not have told and they did the good cop,
- 24:52Speaker 1: bad cop routine on me. And I told the guy.
- 24:54Speaker 1: I was like, I don't I don't want this job.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I don't please, I don't care about your sales. This
- 25:01Speaker 1: is not and he was like I think you do.
- 25:03Speaker 3: And I was like, okay, yeah, how about you?
- 25:10Speaker 1: Rob?
- 25:10Speaker 4: What was My worst job by far was I did
- 25:13Speaker 4: a few call center jobs, but the one that was
- 25:16Speaker 4: the worst was for this company that they would send
- 25:22Speaker 4: out these little boxes of makeup because you would have
- 25:27Speaker 4: signed something at one point to try it out, and
- 25:30Speaker 4: apparently they have your credit card information. I don't know why.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Interesting they get the first one for free and if
- 25:36Speaker 4: you don't cancel it, it keeps coming and they pay
- 25:40Speaker 4: you the full price or you have to pay the
- 25:43Speaker 4: full price. So people were calling so upset because they've
- 25:47Speaker 4: just been charged for this thing that they didn't want.
- 25:52Speaker 4: It wasn't I then had to convince them to keep
- 25:55Speaker 4: it and then try and sell them more product on
- 26:00Speaker 4: top of it.
- 26:01Speaker 3: That's really good. And it was the most soul sucking job.
- 26:05Speaker 4: And the thing that was horrible was that I was
- 26:09Speaker 4: like one of the best employees there at it, so
- 26:12Speaker 4: im and I just hated my life so much, Like
- 26:19Speaker 4: we would.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Go out that night or whatever and he would just
- 26:22Speaker 1: be like.
- 26:24Speaker 4: The worst.
- 26:25Speaker 3: I love that so much. And it was for nothing.
- 26:28Speaker 4: It was I made no much, just selling my soul
- 26:32Speaker 4: just to be able to pay rent cents.
- 26:35Speaker 1: It was for sure, for sure.
- 26:38Speaker 4: What was your worst gig, Chatham?
- 26:40Speaker 3: Uh? I was thinking about it because I don't. I
- 26:42Speaker 3: never had like a job job right, Like I didn't
- 26:44Speaker 3: really do any of the good for you stuff and
- 26:46Speaker 3: it was wonderful, but I did take a little like
- 26:48Speaker 3: random extra. There was like brand ambassador guy, you know,
- 26:53Speaker 3: like random like uh in New York. They would hire
- 26:56Speaker 3: you to go and like stand in the street with
- 26:58Speaker 3: like whatever show was on like that one of their
- 27:00Speaker 3: Rome was on, So we're out there in togas and
- 27:02Speaker 3: stuff and people like what are you doing. We're like,
- 27:04Speaker 3: we're Rome, We're room and they were like you have to.
- 27:09Speaker 3: But my favorite was the brand thing where they had me.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Uh.
- 27:14Speaker 3: They were like you've got to go to like the
- 27:16Speaker 3: richer malls and sell espresso machines to people like this,
- 27:20Speaker 3: And I was like, okay, what do you just stand
- 27:23Speaker 3: there with a coffee maker and you offer people coffee
- 27:25Speaker 3: and then they're supposed to like buy this four hundred
- 27:27Speaker 3: dollars coffee machine they don't need. And I was like
- 27:30Speaker 3: I was like, I'm not going to be good at this,
- 27:32Speaker 3: and they're like, okay, well let's see. And I was
- 27:34Speaker 3: like I did it like eight times and I sold
- 27:37Speaker 3: zero because I was like I don't know how to
- 27:39Speaker 3: do this. I just stood there and rank coffee and
- 27:41Speaker 3: I was like, do you want this? And they were
- 27:43Speaker 3: like no. I was like, great, that sounds right.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to do.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't do. I can't sell anything. I don't.
- 27:51Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't care if you get it. I
- 27:52Speaker 3: don't want to. I don't like forcing anybody. I don't.
- 27:55Speaker 3: It just didn't make sense. The other thing was I
- 27:59Speaker 3: worked with Yamaha for a while and I was like
- 28:01Speaker 3: supposed to go to guitar centers and like make sure
- 28:03Speaker 3: they Amaha stuff looked right. But it was like I
- 28:06Speaker 3: wasn't quite. I just wasn't good at it. Like I
- 28:08Speaker 3: didn't spend time like going through making sure people knew
- 28:11Speaker 3: how to use it or anything. I was supposed to
- 28:13Speaker 3: help with that, and I just didn't know that. But
- 28:15Speaker 3: I eventually they they were like a big enough company,
- 28:19Speaker 3: they didn't know every person that does all this stuff.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Like my email was wrong in their database for a year,
- 28:25Speaker 3: so I didn't get any correspondence for a year. And
- 28:28Speaker 3: I was like I would talk to like my one
- 28:30Speaker 3: main kind of guy like texting and stuff. I was
- 28:33Speaker 3: like I'm going to this whatever great, But they were
- 28:35Speaker 3: like meet up every year at this like for all
- 28:38Speaker 3: the trainer MERCHANTI to call it, and like we all
- 28:40Speaker 3: were supposed to go there and they have like a
- 28:41Speaker 3: fun here's the new product is coming out and you
- 28:43Speaker 3: can all sign NDA's and look at and I remember
- 28:47Speaker 3: that one of them talking to me is like, why
- 28:48Speaker 3: don't you ever answer emails?
- 28:49Speaker 1: Why are you? So? Why are you?
- 28:50Speaker 3: And I was like what are you talking about? And
- 28:52Speaker 3: I found out they had misspelled my name on it,
- 28:54Speaker 3: so I never got emails for a year. I was
- 28:56Speaker 3: like it felt so off a space that I.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Could just promote it.
- 29:00Speaker 3: During that time, we just thought you should have head
- 29:04Speaker 3: up the entire LA dis vision.
- 29:06Speaker 1: I was like management material written all over.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Cool, I'm gonna have to sort of yeah, so I
- 29:12Speaker 3: got fired. They were like we don't really need you
- 29:15Speaker 3: to do what you're not doing anymore.
- 29:16Speaker 1: So I get it.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it makes sense I could try harder and like
- 29:20Speaker 3: we're probably good. I was like, all right, yeah, we're okay.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I try.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:26Speaker 1: That's funny because I've had that opposite conversation where they
- 29:29Speaker 1: were like, you could try harder, and I.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Was like, I don't think I can. I'm saying it,
- 29:37Speaker 3: but I don't mean it. I know I can't.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Won't.
- 29:39Speaker 3: I can't try harder. But I know if you say yes,
- 29:42Speaker 3: it'll be at least six months. So but I can.
- 29:46Speaker 3: I definitely get sure.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I won't.
- 29:49Speaker 3: We're not sure.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I'll try harder.
- 29:51Speaker 4: That's good.
- 29:52Speaker 3: That made me happy. I love it.
- 29:55Speaker 1: I love it. Well, that was fun. It was fun.
- 29:59Speaker 1: I liked it. We get started, Robbie, you want to
- 30:01Speaker 1: hit us with.
- 30:01Speaker 4: The rough Horrible Bosses?
- 30:03Speaker 1: Yes.
- 30:04Speaker 4: In the two twenty eleven dark comedy Horrible Bosses, three
- 30:07Speaker 4: frustrated friends Nick Dale and Kurt conspire to murder their unbearable,
- 30:15Speaker 4: abusive employers after realizing their careers and happiness are being ruined.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Oh that was it.
- 30:24Speaker 3: That's that's how come you chose that order for the names?
- 30:28Speaker 1: I like it. You know it was good, Nick Dale
- 30:31Speaker 1: and Nick Kurt.
- 30:32Speaker 3: If you remember in the second movie, the fantastic scene
- 30:35Speaker 3: where they make a company, you know.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Oh yes, and you're just talking.
- 30:43Speaker 4: Like a shower, buddy. I couldn't remember what it was.
- 30:45Speaker 3: But but their company name and ke Michael Okay, Michael, yeah,
- 30:52Speaker 3: keat and Michael Key. I'm positive I'm hearing that wrong. Like, yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 3: y'all gotta change the name.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Yeah, so is he the one that did the thing
- 31:03Speaker 1: you were talking about earlier?
- 31:04Speaker 4: Rob though that he's like it, dude, No, that's Jason
- 31:09Speaker 4: Bateman and Charlie they got there.
- 31:12Speaker 1: That's like the only thing I remember from that movie.
- 31:15Speaker 3: I don't remember much else.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Probably early too. Yeah, that's funny.
- 31:19Speaker 3: This movie was much funnier.
- 31:21Speaker 1: It was very much funnier. Let's go to Rotten to
- 31:23Speaker 1: models in here. What they have to say? Critics have
- 31:25Speaker 1: this coming in and a pretty solid sixty nine percent.
- 31:29Speaker 3: What wow?
- 31:31Speaker 1: Also sixty nine for this movie seems appropriate area.
- 31:34Speaker 3: It's like they tried to do it. They're like, hey,
- 31:36Speaker 3: you got to say you.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Don't like it, just say you hate it.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Come on, you know.
- 31:41Speaker 1: That's seven of my never mind, audience members did get
- 31:44Speaker 1: it up to seventy. They did, really, so it's at
- 31:48Speaker 1: seventy for them. Seventy though. I was kind of surprised
- 31:51Speaker 1: by that. I thought it would be a little bit lower.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Right, Oh nice, Okay, I like it would be lower
- 31:57Speaker 3: now it would be some problems with what they're saying. Yeah,
- 32:01Speaker 3: you know.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe maybe probably it sounded hot. Take adjacent. Let's
- 32:07Speaker 1: get right into it. It's time for our hot takes.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Hot take. Oh I see that's a hot take.
- 32:15Speaker 3: That's a hot take. Oh I burn myself so hot
- 32:18Speaker 3: it burns me with hot burns.
- 32:22Speaker 1: There it is nailed it. It nailed it. I can
- 32:27Speaker 1: go first. I loved this movie when it first came out.
- 32:31Speaker 1: I continue to quite enjoy it despite its flaws. We'll say,
- 32:37Speaker 1: I would say Chatham it actually maybe people would like
- 32:41Speaker 1: it more now, but that's uh, that's maybe a super
- 32:45Speaker 1: different thing. We've done some swinging, a super hard hour comedy.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Some of the absolute funniest people of this like era
- 32:55Speaker 1: in pop culture are in this movie, which is super
- 32:57Speaker 1: super fun and great. I really hate one of the
- 33:02Speaker 1: actors in this, so it's a little bit harder to
- 33:04Speaker 1: rewatch now. He's a tremendous actor, he's just a dickbag.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Ashing so well.
- 33:11Speaker 3: There is nothing wrong with Jamie Foxx. Okay, is great
- 33:16Speaker 3: National treasure.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Okay, Jamie. Yeah, but he's barely acting in it. Apparently
- 33:21Speaker 1: he's just a bad bad tune. No, he's fine, But yes,
- 33:27Speaker 1: I really did enjoy this. Rewatch again. I think the
- 33:29Speaker 1: chemistry between three leads is super fun. They're like rapid
- 33:33Speaker 1: fire joke stuff is all great they've all done so
- 33:37Speaker 1: many funny things before during since I just love it
- 33:42Speaker 1: so much, I had a super fun time rewatching it.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I do see how some people might not like this movie, though,
- 33:50Speaker 1: and I feel like it. It was pretty popular at
- 33:53Speaker 1: the time, which I mean was surprised by because it's
- 33:56Speaker 1: kind of like it is really hard, r Like you
- 34:00Speaker 1: couldn't do it.
- 34:00Speaker 4: In growth to like two hundred and fifty million.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Roll it was that much. Wow, that's awesome.
- 34:05Speaker 3: Well, you know very well at that time they did
- 34:08Speaker 3: not care about I mean, you could say whatever you want.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I guess that's true. Yeah, we just don't make a
- 34:13Speaker 1: ton of these anymore. They're maybe their series now. I'm
- 34:17Speaker 1: not sure about that. Anyway. I really like this movie
- 34:20Speaker 1: a lot. I don't have a ton more to say it,
- 34:22Speaker 1: and I couldn't think of a hot take really honestly, right, okay,
- 34:27Speaker 1: other than cocaine. Right, it doesn't seem so bad.
- 34:30Speaker 3: I mean, it's kind of fun. It seems fun, kind
- 34:32Speaker 3: of fun.
- 34:33Speaker 4: Apparently you got to go to the bathroom a lot.
- 34:35Speaker 4: It makes you want to do pushups, which I could
- 34:37Speaker 4: use that.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Zero chance if I if I took cocaine. And I
- 34:42Speaker 1: think that's how you say this took cocaine.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I took cocaine.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Involved in a cocaine I think you would just see
- 34:52Speaker 1: they would be like kool aid Man through a wall.
- 34:54Speaker 1: It would just be an outline of me.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Through whatever wants Farley style energy.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I am it's not great to be around me now.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I can't imagine what.
- 35:05Speaker 3: I've seen you on caffeine, bro and it's.
- 35:08Speaker 1: A lot, a lot. So that's a caffeine is Micae?
- 35:12Speaker 1: There we are?
- 35:13Speaker 4: There you go, hot take buddy. Yeah, this movie is
- 35:17Speaker 4: so funny. Directed by Seth Gordon, who's directed other comedies
- 35:21Speaker 4: like Four Christmases, Identity Thief, and.
- 35:24Speaker 3: The bay Watch Movie.
- 35:26Speaker 4: Kind of all the pretty fun The bay Watch movie
- 35:30Speaker 4: is better.
- 35:31Speaker 1: I think then people gave it credit.
- 35:32Speaker 4: Yeah, it was pretty funny.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Also has done a Bunchler List two, which time It's personal.
- 35:41Speaker 4: Written by Michael Markowitz. John Francis Daly, who's also an
- 35:45Speaker 4: actor who showed up in this movie. He was one
- 35:48Speaker 4: of the guys that worked in Jason Bateman's firm. He
- 35:51Speaker 4: was also in the movie Waiting.
- 35:54Speaker 1: That kid. Weird dude.
- 35:58Speaker 4: That guy is very accomplished.
- 36:00Speaker 3: The Chemist screenwriter. I didn't know that he's been getting
- 36:04Speaker 3: in the MCU.
- 36:07Speaker 4: He did the Spider Man Homecoming, he did the Flash,
- 36:11Speaker 4: the Dungeons and Dragons film, and then the other guy,
- 36:16Speaker 4: Jonathan Goldstein, he went and did a Vacation with Ed
- 36:19Speaker 4: Helms and he did Game Night, a movie that we loved.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Yah, well, no wonder, this movie is fun, super funny,
- 36:26Speaker 1: good writers.
- 36:28Speaker 4: But yeah, this was a super under the radar comedy
- 36:31Speaker 4: that caught me by surprise at the time. They went
- 36:34Speaker 4: and got three hilarious actors. Their chemistry, like you said,
- 36:38Speaker 4: was amazing. They got three horrible bosses played by pretty
- 36:42Speaker 4: straight actors who got to come out of their shell
- 36:44Speaker 4: and do something completely different except for Spacey. Like we said,
- 36:48Speaker 4: but but it was so nuts to see Jennifer Anison
- 36:52Speaker 4: and Colin Farrell in these roles.
- 36:54Speaker 3: It was so much fun.
- 36:56Speaker 4: So many moments make me laugh out loud. Like we said,
- 37:00Speaker 4: a lot of the comedy doesn't age well. There's a
- 37:02Speaker 4: lot of casual racism, there's a lot of making light
- 37:04Speaker 4: of sexual harassment, but most of it is from super
- 37:08Speaker 4: despicable characters, which kind of makes it less egregious. I guess, yeah,
- 37:13Speaker 4: But still a lot of it doesn't age well. I
- 37:16Speaker 4: enjoyed that these guys they hated their bosses, they wish
- 37:19Speaker 4: they were dead, but realized they couldn't go through with it,
- 37:22Speaker 4: so we can still like them as characters. And you
- 37:25Speaker 4: get the two worst bosses. They kill each other, one
- 37:28Speaker 4: kills one, the other goes to jail, and the hot
- 37:32Speaker 4: raper got blackmailed and he got the upper hand in
- 37:36Speaker 4: that relationship.
- 37:37Speaker 1: So it was that's just okay.
- 37:40Speaker 4: But I thought it was fun storytelling that makes us
- 37:42Speaker 4: still find these characters endearing.
- 37:43Speaker 3: And I enjoyed how they were able to make that work.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Because these guys should not be likable.
- 37:48Speaker 1: It would have been really easy to go the other
- 37:50Speaker 1: way exactly. Yep, So I thought that was impressive. Hot take.
- 37:57Speaker 4: The one guy who needed to be convinced to get
- 38:01Speaker 4: in on this, Charlie Day, is seen stabbing the one
- 38:06Speaker 4: boss and the other guys are just like, that's way
- 38:08Speaker 4: too much and they just leave him. They just like
- 38:12Speaker 4: they're like his own. That's everything.
- 38:15Speaker 3: If you're going to pick one of them, I mean,
- 38:17Speaker 3: that's probably the you know.
- 38:20Speaker 1: That should have been my hot take.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Again, it's funny.
- 38:22Speaker 1: The peanutalogies not a joke, guys.
- 38:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm getting get.
- 38:29Speaker 4: Also, it also felt like he had like the least
- 38:34Speaker 4: amount of reason to want to kill his boss. All
- 38:38Speaker 4: he had to really do is go and steal her eyepad.
- 38:40Speaker 6: I mean, maybe we can do that first before to
- 38:44Speaker 6: just talk to his partner as well. Yeah, sexually harassed
- 38:52Speaker 6: and it's.
- 38:52Speaker 1: A tough spot because you know I got that history.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, just be honest, straight to murder. Yeah, everybody
- 39:02Speaker 3: else is doing it, I mean so yeah.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Also not a hot take, but a p s A.
- 39:07Speaker 1: The eppipen does not go in the heart. Sure, I
- 39:10Speaker 1: know it's more comical if you do that.
- 39:12Speaker 4: It's very maybe just little steps.
- 39:18Speaker 1: So it's so funny.
- 39:21Speaker 3: Yeah, good, I love it.
- 39:24Speaker 1: That's hot take. Hot take all right, Chadam, what are
- 39:28Speaker 1: you got? Well?
- 39:30Speaker 3: Uh, hot take probably is like a lot I mean
- 39:33Speaker 3: even in the movie there, but Charlie's characters. I mean,
- 39:37Speaker 3: it doesn't have it so bad.
- 39:39Speaker 1: You know what I mean, like they mentioned it so much. Yea.
- 39:41Speaker 3: I was like that. I mean, you know, it's like
- 39:47Speaker 3: yours is less bad than the I mean you could
- 39:51Speaker 3: it's not even your fault, like you can just say this.
- 39:54Speaker 1: No.
- 39:55Speaker 3: I thought that was yeah, and what made it funny
- 39:59Speaker 3: to me? I was like that's It was like that
- 40:01Speaker 3: movie the show we talked about a teacher or whatever,
- 40:04Speaker 3: and I was like, right, I'm having a hard time
- 40:06Speaker 3: feeling like this is bad that the girl teacher is
- 40:08Speaker 3: going after this. I was like, that seems awesome. And
- 40:11Speaker 3: if you're a kid and you would break your hand
- 40:13Speaker 3: high fighting, but the so and they're all like whoa, yeah,
- 40:23Speaker 3: everybody in class they're like you did what and then yeah, yeah,
- 40:27Speaker 3: but they made they hit his they made his character
- 40:30Speaker 3: just the truest blue like you just love him because
- 40:33Speaker 3: he's like I can't I love my I would never
- 40:36Speaker 3: do and you're just like that's that's it's not even
- 40:38Speaker 3: close to a thought, and he would have and it
- 40:40Speaker 3: makes it perfect. Like he's the most likable of the
- 40:43Speaker 3: because he like he just doesn't He's like, I don't
- 40:46Speaker 3: want to do that, but he's still mad and at
- 40:49Speaker 3: the you know, the whole end of that movie, he
- 40:51Speaker 3: did rage that he gets real good. But he's got
- 40:55Speaker 3: a real good yell. That guy pretty yeah.
- 40:57Speaker 1: He's so good at going from like whisper to yell.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Well, he's so funny.
- 41:02Speaker 3: It's like the Bobcat gold Weight of our time.
- 41:05Speaker 1: You watched always Sonny right if you don't know, I
- 41:10Speaker 1: don't know who else that's being for.
- 41:12Speaker 3: No, it's one. Just okay, that's one of my favorites.
- 41:15Speaker 3: It's only one. I need to go watch the whole
- 41:19Speaker 3: Oh I love it because that's.
- 41:20Speaker 1: I've seen it several times now probably yeah, because it's
- 41:23Speaker 1: so funny.
- 41:24Speaker 3: You think it's terrible, but the first season is really
- 41:27Speaker 3: great and then they don't even have Danny video yet
- 41:29Speaker 3: and when he shows up, you're just like, that is
- 41:31Speaker 3: a gross person and I love him.
- 41:33Speaker 1: It's incredible skill on the air.
- 41:35Speaker 3: So it's still happening for like season twenty three or something,
- 41:39Speaker 3: and I don't know whatever it is, but yeah, yeah
- 41:42Speaker 3: it's wild. Oh big fan, big fan. Hot take. That's
- 41:48Speaker 3: like a loop take luke form, but it's yeah.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Type of take. But we're gonna go and we're gonna
- 41:53Speaker 1: talk about our favorite acting performance. Now. The dude, the dude,
- 41:59Speaker 1: I the dude.
- 42:01Speaker 7: So that's what you call me, you know that, or
- 42:05Speaker 7: his dude or duder or you know, el dud reno
- 42:09Speaker 7: if you're not into the whole brevity thing.
- 42:11Speaker 3: Dude, that's as low as I can get.
- 42:13Speaker 1: That's the lost who's your dude?
- 42:16Speaker 3: Chatham. Okay, so this is hard, obviously because I love
- 42:19Speaker 3: Bateman so much, but I love Charlie Day so much.
- 42:23Speaker 3: But I think I laughed the most at Sadakis just
- 42:25Speaker 3: because of his off the cuff, off the cuff extra stuff.
- 42:28Speaker 3: And he would and he would leave him leading in
- 42:31Speaker 3: the other actors in the character got like when he
- 42:34Speaker 3: what's that mean? You know? And he would just let
- 42:36Speaker 3: them simmer and like, what did I mean? And like
- 42:38Speaker 3: I remember a couple of things like Bobby the Boss
- 42:41Speaker 3: that the Boss's son there, what were you doing there?
- 42:44Speaker 3: He's like, I was doing When did you see me?
- 42:46Speaker 3: You were doing?
- 42:48Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 42:49Speaker 3: And I love that a lot. So he seemed to
- 42:51Speaker 3: be like the most Frankstree, like having the most fun
- 42:54Speaker 3: and set and being like, well, let's see what we can
- 42:55Speaker 3: get away with here. So I just h And I
- 42:58Speaker 3: also love the knowing and Ted last one now is
- 43:01Speaker 3: just like true blue knowing him as such a piece
- 43:03Speaker 3: of grap in this like just you know, so great,
- 43:06Speaker 3: that's real good. But yeah, that's yeah, he's great. I
- 43:10Speaker 3: would say that's a good one. Yeah.
- 43:12Speaker 4: I don't think you can really go wrong with with
- 43:15Speaker 4: many of these. I think mine was Charlie day for
- 43:20Speaker 4: kind of what we said. I thought, I think I'd
- 43:22Speaker 4: find him to be so funny. His delivery is hilarious
- 43:27Speaker 4: when he is coked out, it kills me. When he
- 43:31Speaker 4: is in the car.
- 43:38Speaker 3: Going back, that's ridiculous. And I loved it.
- 43:42Speaker 4: It was so good. He's so much you.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Know that I've ever heard that song other than that he.
- 43:48Speaker 3: Was big when that came out, I remembered it then
- 43:51Speaker 3: I was like, wow, that was huge.
- 43:54Speaker 4: But yeah, man, and his scream is so great and
- 43:57Speaker 4: just yeah, so high and just so dumb.
- 44:01Speaker 1: So he's just.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Wet work is a hit man.
- 44:10Speaker 1: You know, I've quite a lot here.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Two hundred bucks for three kills. Yeah man, yep, yeah.
- 44:24Speaker 1: That's really great. Uh, Charlie Days also who I picked.
- 44:28Speaker 1: I find him. I love everyone else in this so, like,
- 44:32Speaker 1: I agree, there's no going wrong really, but he just
- 44:35Speaker 1: cracked me up in such a fun way. I don't
- 44:38Speaker 1: know why. I just love everything he does, like.
- 44:41Speaker 4: He's a one of one man.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Physical comedy is so good. He's like his quips are
- 44:47Speaker 1: so fun. His like his stuff he does just with
- 44:50Speaker 1: his voice and his delivery, it's also fun. I don't know,
- 44:52Speaker 1: it's just it's all.
- 44:54Speaker 3: So great, always sonny, he's got songs and he's made
- 44:56Speaker 3: and they're ridiculousn he's so Yeah, and then he can't read,
- 45:03Speaker 3: and the show all the stuff where he can't read
- 45:04Speaker 3: or he's trying to write something.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Is you said door marks?
- 45:08Speaker 3: The bird loss stuff is so good. I thought of
- 45:10Speaker 3: that during his little speech about like, oh we're not
- 45:13Speaker 3: arrested right now? Okay, And then I was like I
- 45:15Speaker 3: wanted to start the bird law what. Yeah, he's great.
- 45:21Speaker 3: You see that door marks pirate? Do you think there's
- 45:23Speaker 3: a pirate in there? I see the doormarked private? Is
- 45:29Speaker 3: that the door?
- 45:30Speaker 7: What?
- 45:30Speaker 4: Do you hear me?
- 45:30Speaker 3: I didn't?
- 45:31Speaker 1: What did you think? I said? So so funny? But yeah,
- 45:35Speaker 1: I just I love him. So he in a movie
- 45:39Speaker 1: full of amazing, super funny parts. Like I think he's
- 45:42Speaker 1: just the funniest.
- 45:43Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, I love him.
- 45:45Speaker 4: It's nice, well, a lots of supporting characters. Yeah, this
- 45:50Speaker 4: is going to be a tough one. Let's choose to.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Tucci, who you get for this one?
- 46:01Speaker 3: All right? I mean it's a it's a time. I
- 46:07Speaker 3: was gonna say it was like Colin Farrell's scene happens first,
- 46:11Speaker 3: you know the scene in the when the meeting is
- 46:15Speaker 3: unreal and it's so funny and maybe laugh so much
- 46:18Speaker 3: and he's ridiculous. I think as a character, I think
- 46:20Speaker 3: I have to go with him. But Jennifer Aniston man
- 46:24Speaker 3: just destroyed me the whole time, So I'm like, I
- 46:27Speaker 3: don't so I think I'm gonna go. I think call Ferrell.
- 46:31Speaker 3: But I have a deep, deep love for Jennifer Iniston
- 46:35Speaker 3: in this that was so funny.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Was this like one of her first like comedic where
- 46:41Speaker 1: she was just raunchy a few times now, but like
- 46:47Speaker 1: what it's happening. It was so good.
- 46:52Speaker 4: That's why it was so shocking.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Yeah, she obviously continues and where the millers and it's
- 46:57Speaker 1: so great too. But yeah, but yeah, so good.
- 47:01Speaker 3: How far to due? His stupid shirt with the dragon
- 47:06Speaker 3: on the back, it's like a dress shirt and he's
- 47:09Speaker 3: got that over is unreal, Like all of it is
- 47:12Speaker 3: just great.
- 47:13Speaker 1: I'm just so so good.
- 47:16Speaker 3: So growth. Yeah, we've never seen him do anything like that.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Close. He's a really tremendous actor. That's really great.
- 47:25Speaker 3: Yep, Yeah, yeah, that's great.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Love that.
- 47:29Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a great one. I was going to take
- 47:32Speaker 4: Sudakis in here because I didn't take him up at
- 47:35Speaker 4: the top and for everything he said. He's just such
- 47:38Speaker 4: a good time to mention somebody. I guess we haven't
- 47:41Speaker 4: talked about Bateman. Bateman, he's kind of kind of has
- 47:45Speaker 4: to play the straight guy like he always does, but
- 47:47Speaker 4: he does it so well. He was also funny when
- 47:52Speaker 4: he had to get coked out. It wasn't as big
- 47:54Speaker 4: as Charlie d Yeah, that was pretty great.
- 47:59Speaker 1: He's got what the wealth of experience to go off of, too,
- 48:02Speaker 1: because that thing all the time.
- 48:08Speaker 3: If they had like a whole discussion with him first
- 48:10Speaker 3: and like is this gonna be okay? And he's like,
- 48:12Speaker 3: that'd be great.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I wonder they were, like, you know, it was
- 48:17Speaker 1: fun in danger your sobriety, what are we talking right?
- 48:22Speaker 4: But he was great, I mean super just as funny
- 48:24Speaker 4: as those other guys is especially playing off each other
- 48:28Speaker 4: is really great.
- 48:29Speaker 8: I mean, yeah, yes, he's so good at being angry
- 48:33Speaker 8: with people while still being likable somehow, like you know,
- 48:38Speaker 8: so annoyed with everyone.
- 48:40Speaker 4: So annoyed, always calling people stupid, but it still.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Is like endearing some of the prices great in the car,
- 48:47Speaker 3: we're gonna talk about these scenes and stuff, But I
- 48:49Speaker 3: mean in the car when he used to hold the
- 48:50Speaker 3: wheel for to go. When he's like you got to
- 48:54Speaker 3: go deal with that, I'll ground the wheel Like that's
- 48:56Speaker 3: so stupid. The driver, I'm gonna need you back for
- 48:59Speaker 3: the breaks. But okay, that's like it's so good that
- 49:03Speaker 3: just the monotone like flat thing that he can do. Yeah,
- 49:06Speaker 3: it's really great.
- 49:07Speaker 1: It's really really good. Uh So, yeah, I would have
- 49:12Speaker 1: talked about the other two main guys for sure, like Steak,
- 49:15Speaker 1: this is so good, you know, Bateman obviously, I probably
- 49:21Speaker 1: would have picked Oh man, it is really hard. Probably
- 49:26Speaker 1: Jar for Aniston. I do. I think about her this
- 49:29Speaker 1: money and problematic of course, but you know, like it is.
- 49:36Speaker 1: It is wild what she does in this movie and
- 49:39Speaker 1: what she says in this movie. It's just she's really great.
- 49:43Speaker 3: There's so many cultes I can't bring up just.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Because I don't want to be recorded.
- 49:50Speaker 3: What's cut out every time? Hey you sound like it? No,
- 49:54Speaker 3: not doing that. Yeah. Jamie Foxx obviously to all of
- 50:03Speaker 3: his little sideways looks with a strong his mouth.
- 50:04Speaker 4: The stupid sitting part of the Really Small Straw.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Was a great choice on his part.
- 50:12Speaker 4: So funny, sound stupid, like you cannot look like this
- 50:17Speaker 4: hardened criminal you're sitting out of.
- 50:21Speaker 1: It's impossible. He almost chokes on the literal.
- 50:32Speaker 9: Gabriel Uh, the Duchess of Sussex is in this movie, which.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Is pretty crazy.
- 50:45Speaker 3: Shocked to me.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Wow, Beck and Markle being right in there.
- 50:49Speaker 4: And basically just straight up sexual harassment to her, just
- 50:53Speaker 4: like you're too pretty to be a fitex, just like
- 50:56Speaker 4: what are we doing?
- 50:56Speaker 1: Yeah? This is the the like have you ever seen
- 50:59Speaker 1: the memes of like if you're good looking, this is
- 51:01Speaker 1: what happens if you're not right, Like, oh, he's so
- 51:06Speaker 1: sweet and the others like, oh my god, right a monster.
- 51:11Speaker 4: That blew my mind.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I couldn't believe that she was in it. That
- 51:14Speaker 1: was crazy. Wendell Pearce in it for a hot minute.
- 51:21Speaker 1: I remember Ron White was like a big deal for
- 51:24Speaker 1: a minute.
- 51:24Speaker 3: That was crazy enormously.
- 51:25Speaker 1: Oh he's huge for a while. But I haven't heard
- 51:28Speaker 1: from him. Is he even alive? I don't know.
- 51:30Speaker 3: Yeah, he's out there.
- 51:31Speaker 1: He's good.
- 51:32Speaker 3: He's the old quick drinking and he's out there doing stuff.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Good old tater salad.
- 51:38Speaker 3: Yeah. He made me laugh them most like because the
- 51:41Speaker 3: other guys on the Blue Collar Tour were like you
- 51:43Speaker 3: know people you knew, and then Ron White did his
- 51:45Speaker 3: thing and I was.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Like, oh he was so funny. Wow, he just.
- 51:48Speaker 3: Blew my mind really good.
- 51:51Speaker 4: Julie Bowen was fun.
- 51:52Speaker 1: I didn't remember.
- 51:54Speaker 3: I forgot about her a lot. Kevin's wife, Yeah, she's
- 51:58Speaker 3: so good. She is is great.
- 52:02Speaker 4: I definitely didn't remember Donald Sutherland in the beginning.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Now being yea me either.
- 52:06Speaker 4: Colin Farrell's dad.
- 52:08Speaker 3: Yeah, ri ip, that's a super good one.
- 52:12Speaker 4: The Bob Newhart, Yeah, so random.
- 52:16Speaker 3: So much.
- 52:17Speaker 9: He's like, yeah, a sequel, which is a shame, right, that.
- 52:21Speaker 3: Is a shame.
- 52:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean this is one of the last things
- 52:24Speaker 4: he did, at least live action wise. Yeah, he had
- 52:28Speaker 4: done some other voice stuff it sounded like, but wonder Yeah.
- 52:31Speaker 1: He was on a Big Bang Theory like on a
- 52:36Speaker 1: few times. I wonder if that was before after this
- 52:38Speaker 1: though probably right around the same time. Honestly. Yeah, yeah, crazy.
- 52:42Speaker 3: I remember his interview with uh he did Conan like
- 52:46Speaker 3: a couple of years ago before he passed. He was
- 52:48Speaker 3: like ninety six at the time, and it was so
- 52:50Speaker 3: funny and it was like some really dark stuff, so
- 52:52Speaker 3: funny he said some dark stuff that is so funny
- 52:55Speaker 3: in his like little voice that he just yeah, and
- 52:58Speaker 3: he like does.
- 52:58Speaker 1: That trail off thing where he's well.
- 53:01Speaker 3: Man, that's great. Yep, yeah, great delivery.
- 53:05Speaker 1: Also Brian George, who you know from so many things,
- 53:09Speaker 1: but he was the voice of ottomanand or Gregory. Yeah,
- 53:14Speaker 1: if you look at his picture, you know this guy.
- 53:16Speaker 1: He's just so many things. Often as like the whatever
- 53:22Speaker 1: stereotypical Indian character in whatever movie. But he's really good
- 53:26Speaker 1: and he was fun of this.
- 53:28Speaker 4: Yeah, he saved the day, saved the day. Then the
- 53:32Speaker 4: dude doing the wet work he was like in that
- 53:35Speaker 4: Fantastic four film. Yeah, I don't know how you say
- 53:38Speaker 4: his name. I O a n n Ian Maybe, I
- 53:42Speaker 4: don't know. And then p J. Burne is the actor
- 53:50Speaker 4: who was willing to give the handies. He shows up
- 53:56Speaker 4: every one. He's like in the Wolf of Wall Street.
- 53:58Speaker 4: He kind of plays that kind of guy a lot.
- 54:01Speaker 4: He's pretty solid, like supporting.
- 54:04Speaker 1: He was like a writer or something that just showed
- 54:07Speaker 1: up to do. Yeah, that's interesting, but I.
- 54:09Speaker 3: Like him a lot, and he was really funny in this.
- 54:11Speaker 3: It was I'm pretty sure my extended cut had a
- 54:13Speaker 3: couple of his lines in it that I was like, Wow,
- 54:15Speaker 3: that probably wasn't in.
- 54:16Speaker 4: The regular It's like, it's so good.
- 54:19Speaker 1: I love that.
- 54:23Speaker 4: That was pretty much everybody else that I wrote down
- 54:25Speaker 4: as everybody else you guys wanted to chat about.
- 54:27Speaker 3: I think that was it.
- 54:31Speaker 4: Well, let's talk about our favorite scene.
- 54:32Speaker 3: Let's choose the dingas.
- 54:34Speaker 1: The das is quite simple, really, dingus, dingus. I could
- 54:39Speaker 1: talk about my dingas all night long.
- 54:41Speaker 3: I'm gonna kiss your dings dingas. Okay.
- 54:44Speaker 1: Nice, It sounded auto tune, but it is.
- 54:52Speaker 3: Okay. So if you know, you.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Get to say what your favorite scene.
- 54:59Speaker 3: Is me, yeah, me, I do. Okay, you shouldn't be
- 55:04Speaker 3: I mean, there's two that really hit me where it
- 55:08Speaker 3: hurts the laugh but I think I'm gonna take yeah
- 55:13Speaker 3: or you laugh though it hurts a lot, but the
- 55:17Speaker 3: I'm gonna say the office meeting with Bobby where he
- 55:20Speaker 3: that that made me laugh so hard and trimming the
- 55:25Speaker 3: fat thing when he's yeah you go fire her and
- 55:29Speaker 3: O god.
- 55:31Speaker 1: You come in two hours like your father's funeral.
- 55:35Speaker 4: Yeah, excuse you know that might have worked my dad
- 55:40Speaker 4: was here, Well, that would make any sense if he
- 55:43Speaker 4: was here.
- 55:45Speaker 3: It's yeah, I mean that was but yeah, talking about
- 55:50Speaker 3: when he's yeah, fire the said fire the fatty or
- 55:53Speaker 3: fire the cripple, and I was like, wow, and it
- 55:56Speaker 3: just or you're all three of you, and I'm like,
- 55:58Speaker 3: and then, you know, obviously coming out after, he's like,
- 56:01Speaker 3: I just heard that he's firing, and I'm just as
- 56:04Speaker 3: shocked as you all are. But he's just I think,
- 56:07Speaker 3: is extended. I didn't get that in mind. It's great
- 56:10Speaker 3: because he's he talks about it. He comes out and
- 56:13Speaker 3: he's and you know, he goes over and he's like,
- 56:15Speaker 3: I gotta let you go. And then yeah, he Bobby
- 56:18Speaker 3: comes out and he's like, look, I I just heard
- 56:20Speaker 3: that he's firing the guy who's been here forever. I know,
- 56:23Speaker 3: I'm just as shocked as you are. It's appalling. But
- 56:25Speaker 3: on my dad, on my dad's funeral at the same day,
- 56:29Speaker 3: and can you believe it? And then you know, babe
- 56:31Speaker 3: here today is exactly It wasn't my idea, and he's like, hey,
- 56:34Speaker 3: you man, and then he just wheels on out. It's incredible,
- 56:39Speaker 3: and you just that's so funny.
- 56:42Speaker 1: It was.
- 56:42Speaker 3: It made me laugh quite a bit. So yeah, I'm
- 56:46Speaker 3: gonna go with that, and I stand.
- 56:47Speaker 4: It's a great scene. I think mine is also a
- 56:54Speaker 4: toss up between two. I think that, oh, what is it? Okay,
- 57:02Speaker 4: I'll say the spilling the coca con ferris price and
- 57:06Speaker 4: him putting the whole bathroom up his ass.
- 57:10Speaker 1: This guy's picking the like the dirt out of the
- 57:13Speaker 1: coke and sticking stuff up his butt is.
- 57:17Speaker 3: Just that was that was going. It's so funny, so funny.
- 57:24Speaker 1: I think, I'm like really good at this, really really.
- 57:26Speaker 3: Good at just talking so much.
- 57:29Speaker 1: You take it.
- 57:29Speaker 4: Jump, I'm gonna go do some push ups.
- 57:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm one more dump and then one more dump.
- 57:37Speaker 3: I remember laughing out loud just watching him jump to
- 57:41Speaker 3: the wall like when they when they when he backs
- 57:43Speaker 3: out of the driveway or whatever, and and he just
- 57:47Speaker 3: jumps to the wall, doesn't make it like he can
- 57:50Speaker 3: see him like his legs hanging over and that's it.
- 57:52Speaker 1: And then just crouched in the corner.
- 57:54Speaker 3: Yeah. And then yeah, him not getting in the garage
- 57:57Speaker 3: door and just slamming like that into the That really
- 58:01Speaker 3: made me happy.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Very perfect. I also love that that's like preceded by
- 58:10Speaker 1: he's trying to get out of work early.
- 58:14Speaker 10: The whole.
- 58:17Speaker 1: I know that looks so real and I don't think,
- 58:23Speaker 1: how could it not have been real.
- 58:25Speaker 3: I just he didn't have anything in his mouth waiting,
- 58:27Speaker 3: he just did he put that whole just no, I'll
- 58:32Speaker 3: get back to work and just yeah, yeah that's mine. Yep, yeah,
- 58:44Speaker 3: so I just yeah, that whole.
- 58:46Speaker 1: I think that would be the one I picked. Honestly.
- 58:48Speaker 1: I do love the trim fat scene. I'm with you
- 58:51Speaker 1: on that, so so good. Love the all the scenes
- 58:59Speaker 1: with more just the best. They just they are all great,
- 59:03Speaker 1: like they don't know anything, you know, when he's just
- 59:08Speaker 1: like he's clearly just taking him for a ride. It's
- 59:11Speaker 1: so funny.
- 59:12Speaker 3: I love him all that.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Stuff, and they're like his negotiating is so bad. And
- 59:16Speaker 1: does the does the briefcase come out of? Is that
- 59:19Speaker 1: you're end?
- 59:20Speaker 3: Is that?
- 59:21Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 59:22Speaker 3: Send forty dollars on the briefcase?
- 59:24Speaker 1: So actually so great. I love that, love that so
- 59:31Speaker 1: I love all those scenes too.
- 59:34Speaker 3: Uh.
- 59:35Speaker 4: My runner up is the stabbing Spacey with the epithet
- 59:38Speaker 4: over and that is a great. Yeah, and that also
- 59:43Speaker 4: with him doing that that's not my name, but just
- 59:47Speaker 4: that will.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Save him, oh my god, saving him when they could have.
- 59:52Speaker 3: Yes, it's very good, but him just maybe.
- 59:56Speaker 4: Little stabs, just a little little killed me.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Then it gets them in the throat. He's right on
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: the thing a little bit. But dude, seriously, when I
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: think of this movie, I think that's that car scene
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: with him reclining the chair.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: Yes, I kept it.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: It's so funny. That's a great one.
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: I also just enjoyed the introducing all three of the
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: bosses and they have the montage nearing they are. Is
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: just a fun way to introduce them. But also take
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: the coked scene.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: There Buddy Kenny, that whole thing in the bar where
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: he's like, I will give you handies.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: Yeah, man, that is so funny.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Yeah, they're just like realization of like, well, maybe we
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: shouldn't do this.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: I guess maybe we shouldn't quit. We better just murder
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: our bosses.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Just kill them.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the best thing.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: That's the answer. There's nothing their job out there for sure.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: No, if he can't, I mean he's he graduated from.
- 1:01:05Speaker 11: Yale boy yep.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess is that the one we're picking them,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: the cocaine one.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: I think that's the That was the most prolonged laughter
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: from the start to finish. I would I would go
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: with that. Yeah, I love it.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: The dingus has been chosen well there's.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Several quotes in this movie hard to write down sometimes,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: but we should get into it. Our favorite quo, it's
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: time to show me the money.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: Show me the money, show me they show me the money,
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: and me, okay, hand me the keys. O can.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: You guys don't know what you're referencing?
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: It's great usual suspects. Oh yes, another fine film starring
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: you know, yes, the guy Kevin Pollack. Kevin Pollack.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Yeah, so Chatham, give us say several because there's so many.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: I got so many, there's so many. One I enjoyed
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: was after gets into the little Sedakis and Colin Farrell's
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: character there, like early on he gets them all routed
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: up and he's yelling and he's like, ill, I know
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: what they look like. I know you. And he gets
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: mad and he's like, I'm a green belt. I'm a
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: green belt. Just green belt is not good like. It
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: doesn't it's not good like. It's the middle at best.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: And it makes me laugh. That's just as far as
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: he got. But he's proud of it, and I like it. Man.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: The life is a marathon, and you can't win a
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: marathon without putting some band aids on your nipples. I've
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: said them many times. Then it all pays off at
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: the end, It sure does. Yeah, how do you like
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: m nipples? Was like this, and then I have to
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: say it, you know, yeah, you know from like, oh
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: we loved that. It was great. The quotes, I mean,
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: the couple that I can say and I probably still shouldn't,
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: but the do you watch that show Gossip Girl last night?
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: I fingered myself so hard to that Penn Badgeley guy,
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: I broken, nail broken, killed me immediate shrimp in the
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: apartment and that's fantastic. And I was like, I do
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: not feel mad for you. I don't know. She's uh uh.
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: Later on Sadakis in the bar when somebody girl walks
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: past and looks at him, you know, and he's like, oh,
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: speaking of a trapman, I'm gonna go see that girl
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: about her vagina. It was like.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: So al yeah, right before that, you don't put a
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: playground next to a bar.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: It's a trapman, It's entrapment. Yeah, It's it's true though. Yeah.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: My one of my some of my favorite lines are
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: from the from Bateman actually because he just just a
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: matter of fact kind of thing that he does whenever
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Charlie Dave was talking about how heart to just get
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: a job, and he's like, oh, I'm sorry, you guys
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: registered sex vendors, you know, and and Bateman's are fine,
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: just what I thought about it, but I would mean
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: going back to school, changing fields, starting from the bottom.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: Who wants to do that?
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: You know?
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: And I'm like, he either is just talking about that
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: or still thinks we're talking about the job like it doesn't.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: It could be either one, but it made me laugh.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: So the thing I was talking about was probably just
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: in the extended version was the guy who said to
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: the Yale graduate guy, yeah, and he's talking to all
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: them and he's like, my hands are rated four stars.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: That's four stars wrapped around your stick. Pop the thumb nick,
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: the top nick, the top nick, the top nick, the
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: top batter. And I was like, what did you say
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: to me? And I was like, you probably have to
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: bleep the how's your bleeper?
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: On?
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: This show is good because I'm like, I was like,
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: you're going.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: To have to get rid of keeping.
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: I don't think you can keep most of it. But
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: it just did that and I was like, ster spatter,
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: that was unbelievable that I'm pretty sure that that was
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: just for me. I I'm going to go with two more,
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: just I don't want to do too many. But there's
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: so many, there's so many, Well, okay, three more. There
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: was how did you get the nickname mother? Whenever Bateman asked, well,
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: when I was a kid, I snuck into my mother's bedroom.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: Oh so hard. Yeah, And I was like, God, he
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: just can't. You can't do anything wrong. And the other
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: the other Bateman when he's finding out like hesked when
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: they're trying to figure out what they're gonna get caught,
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: you know, and he's like, oh, he isn't one of
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: like flee you know. They're talking about going to Mexico
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: or whatever, and he's like, they got the metrics system.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: I got to buy coats and sweaters, learn hockey all
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: of that. Like it's just he's already thinking about that already.
- 1:06:23Speaker 11: Annoy Donny the uh the last from him again when
- 1:06:30Speaker 11: he's trying to you know, why were you doing sixty
- 1:06:33Speaker 11: nine or whatever?
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: Fifty nine and a twenty five mole hour and he's like,
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: I was drag racing. I'm a drag racer. And then
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: Ron White it's like in a prius and he's like yeah,
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: we I don't win a lot.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. Maybe my favorite line
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: of the movie. It's it's funny, great is good.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: I was like, that's a just I'm like, none of
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: this is scripted. You guys just made stuff. And that
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: was And I love how they always go on after like, yes,
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: the movies, I'm sure they do it where they go
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: past whatever they're supposed to say, and they cut that
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: and this they were like, no, no, We'll leave some
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: of that in there because it was fantastic. So I'll
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: leave it at that because I'm sure that. I mean,
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: there's so many yeah, a lot, man, I can't wait.
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: So Nick says, I'm such a sucker. Harken was never
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: going to promote me. Then Kurt's like, that coked up
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: prick is going to ruin pellic chemicals. He's just gonna
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: fire everybody. And Dale was like, she stood there with
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: her breasts right in my face. You know, I gotta
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: stop talking to you guys.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: Nick is like, where were you during the murder? Kurt's like,
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: I was making love. I was making love to a woman,
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: you know, murdering some ass. I enjoyed that.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Yeah, why would you put.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: His whole back. I mean your ass. That hard cut
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: to that he killed me. So funny, dude.
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: When Colin Farroh was like, you know what, I don't
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: he I don't hear you giving dick skin.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: Anything I've.
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: That really killed me. We already talked about I want
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: you to trim the fat around here? What does that mean?
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: Why fire the fat people?
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: That? All that was just so horrible and comfortable.
- 1:08:33Speaker 10: Yeah, he said, yeah over there, just like, oh my god,
- 1:08:39Speaker 10: this guy's.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: So there's a line after that that is so funny
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: where he's like, he freaks me out going around all
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: day in a special little chair.
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Like, oh my god, that's you.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: You're a monster.
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: He's yeah.
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: After the the wet work stuff is happening and the
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: dude is peeing, just the stuff that they're saying. As
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: they're walking out of the room, he's like, it reflects
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: poorly on me, that you're my friend.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: And then as you hear it in the background, the guy.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: Peeing, Bateman says, that was almost all over us, over us.
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: It's just like you barely get it in there. It's
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: like a throwaway.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: That's his specialty, is sniping right at them and you
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: don't think anyone's listening.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Yeah, so good.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: That killed me.
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: What do you got?
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: She Jennifer Anson sprays him with the like the water alone,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: someone circumcised be real good.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Also, and it's not going to be as good, but
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Charlie Day doing it is just the best one. He's
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: like ripe right.
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: Right, and.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: You're a raper, you're the rate. It's like, oh, relax
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: your dick. What's the name in art? Just give me
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: any relief?
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: Yeah, oh man, yep.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Doesn't give me any relief.
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: Well, he called she called him Jodie Foster and that
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: was a movie called The Accused, and that is.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: That was that that reference.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: It's a rough movie. I watched it, so rough and
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: disgusting and yeah and wonderful.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Uh. When they talked him into killing it's like, what
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: would gam bam? What would want you to? Just like
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: she wouldn't have wanted me to kill him. Okay, forget
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: about gam gam She's dead. You've got to move on.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: It's the immediate.
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: Yeah. That was also a funny thing. That space He
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: did so good. Yes, cracking up.
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: Last so high. That's pretty good. That's all I was like,
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: I'm probably not supposed to be laughing so hard at this,
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: but I know it is.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: It is great through Also when he's doing the maybe
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: the little stabs, maybe the little stabs, when he's doing
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: all that and there they see him from upstairs and
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: they're like, what is he doing? This is the ree constage.
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like, you know what, We're out, We're out.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: That did make me just uh. And also another throwaway line, Uh,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Bateman is watching Colin Farrell and he's like, Jesus, where
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: does this guy get the energy? And he goes, oh yeah,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: and he's.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: Like, oh, yeah, the realization was really good, really great.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: It's really great. I love that line.
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: So the line that I think of with this movie
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: is the I wouldn't mind bending her over a barrel
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: and showing her the fifty states. Right, Yeah, I don't
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: know what that means.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I don't know. That's not the thing.
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: Then in the gag reel, you get ye it's from
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: a movie it is now it looks Yeah.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: I love that.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: I love that, and I had a bit from that.
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: He's like, no, no, it's definitely a saying it's from
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: a book. I think great, maybe Great Gatsby. Maybe it's not.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: It's not from that.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: I also love the I mean, come on, three penis
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: shaped foods. That can't be a coincidence, right, and then
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: eating them in that weird order. That's not a proper meal.
- 1:12:38Speaker 12: And he goes, yes, they say that it's just the
- 1:12:49Speaker 12: trailing off of that's not a proper meal.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: That's not a proper meal.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the next thing you would say.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: It's good.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: Of course, I'll dance on your boobies and jump up
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: and down in his bushy. Let's not forget such a
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: what all of the things all being said while in
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: a car chase. Oh, man, maybe I should have danced
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: on her boobies. I love it.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: Also a great scene, even though Kevin Spacey's a dickhead.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: But when he offers him the drink and he's like,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: you want one, He's like, it's eight fifteen in the morning. Oh,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: is there something wrong with a man enjoying a drink? Well? No,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: And then he just pours the one and it is
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: to the brim it is and he's like, oh, it's
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: just you're not having one. He's like, Nick, it's eight
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: fifteen in the morning. I'm not an alcoholic.
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: Oh man, let's just treat this to your drinking problem,
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: him throwing him out the window in his little flashback thought.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: Also that dreaming.
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: He chugs it and spits it out like it's awful.
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: Manage a lot of that. There's luck going on there.
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: Two very long, very slow hunks, and he does it
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: shriving away.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Before that, he's like, you're going to be coming out
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: of there constantly. People are always.
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: Once yeah, well no, it's fine.
- 1:14:35Speaker 10: Very yeah, idiot, all right, well why don't we why
- 1:14:40Speaker 10: don't we move on to bugs boohoom moments wowed.
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: In this one, buddy, I think we got another one
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: where there's a zero crime.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: There's got to be a zero in this.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a goose egg for sure. Yeah, even to
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: get close to and this is there, maybe.
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: The when Donald Sutherland died, but he goes right into
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: talking about how his heart exploded water balloon. It's yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: you would.
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: Have gone close to it. I mean maybe some like
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: body shaming stuff and you just feel a little like
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: a little bit.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: About I haven't had sex in six months with anyone
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: but myself. Very that hurt me. But yeah, snow booos,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: not this time, not this time. Let's go to a
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: little trivia there was not ton, but I thought this
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: was fun. Colin Farrell was heavily involved in the look
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: of his character. The comb over, the prosthetics stomach both
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: were his idea, and he also decided his character would
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: have an obsession with Chinese dragons, and he took part
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: in developing the design for Bobby's apartment.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: That's wonderful that it's really great.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: It comes through. He's so crazy goofy in this.
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: He's committed.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: To promote this film. Warner brother Pictures of Canada set
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: up a twelve foot voodoo doll resembling a corporate boss
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: in downtown Montreal. People were given the chance to vent
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: their office frustrations on the doll by stabbing and hitting
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: it with large needles. They were also encouraged to share
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: their best or worst boss story for the chance of
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: winning passes to the advanced screening of the film. So
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: That's huh something That's a lot Very interesting.
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: Canada.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: While Seth Gordon encouraged most actors and actresses to improvise
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: their lines in various scenes, Jennifer Andison has stated she
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: did not need to because her lines were beautifully choreographed.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Everything she said truth She did improvise them, but she's like,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: I'm not taking credit.
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: No, I can't say it. No, that was you guys.
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: You guys are taking that.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: They made me say it.
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: Yeah, they made me say it. I would never say that.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: I had a bar of soap right next to set,
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: so I can put that right.
- 1:17:00Speaker 4: Where jar was full full.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: When looking for a dangerous bar, Gregory claims there's an
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Applebee's three blocks away, and Jason Sedakas says, those are
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: the beds we need. So Dacas later becomes an actual
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: spokemon for Applebee's. So that's kind of fun. That is
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: great forget about. In real life, Bobby's cocaine was made
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: of powdered lactose, and his same character Colin Farrell, would
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: snort it between scenes.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: I don't really that's something that's dedication, medication, Yeah, it's yeah,
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: it's definitely lactose. Don't worry about don't worry about it.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: That's great. I guess you kinda poop one more time
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: and then we'll go.
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: Then actions we do a few push ups.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Kurt is the only one of the three main characters
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: to come in contact with the three targeted bosses. Kurt
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: works for Bobby has sex with Julia uh and then
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: a gun points.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: So it makes love to his wife, right, love to
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: his wife?
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Can you just give me a tour of her mouth?
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: I mean the house. I forgot about that.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: That's a real good line.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: When Dale unexpectedly helps the guys talk their way out
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: of being held at the police station, and he cites
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: the law and order thing as either inspiration for learning
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: how the justice system works. Charlie Dale or Charlie Day.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Dale appeared in Swept Away, a very special episode in
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: two thousand and one. So he was he was on
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: law Order.
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: Amazing perfect. That's where I got bird law.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: I get it. But that was all the trivia I found.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: I don't know if you've had anything wrong. I found stuff.
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: Whereas people that were considered to play.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: That's always tricky, like was that.
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm just saying, okay, I'm going to throw huge names.
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: But they did throw out some huge names. The names
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: were Vince Vaughan, Owen Wilson, Matthew McConaughey, Dak Shephard, Ashton Kutcher,
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: Paul Rudd, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeff Bridges, Bob Saggett, and
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: Tom Cruise.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: A lot.
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: Apparently, Kutcher was attached to play the role of Dale,
- 1:19:13Speaker 4: while Cruz, Saggott, and Hoffman and Bridges were approached for
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: the role of Dave Harkin so the Spacey character, and
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: McConaughey was considered for the role of Dean Jones.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: Okay, I would love.
- 1:19:34Speaker 13: To see Bob Sagan honestly, and for Jennifer Andison's role,
- 1:19:42Speaker 13: Naomi Watts and Sarah Jessica Parker were considered, which I.
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: Couldn't see either of them doing that either. The whole
- 1:19:49Speaker 4: would have been just a shocking. But yeah, the fact
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: that we you know, we know Jennifer Anison from Friends
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: is Rachel just and then just hearing those words, I mean,
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: it was very effective.
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: It's very good.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: It was great. It's so funny.
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that's all I have though. Yeah, but I the
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: one thing I was interesting that they had something about.
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: Was it the Colin Farrell like Kevin Spacey kind of
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: like helped discover him and then launching his career. I
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: was like, that's I mean, I'm always like, you know,
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: that's at least a nice thing in his cap instead
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: of all the terrible and I was like, all right,
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: it might be a terrible person, but he did something
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: good and.
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: My favorite actors.
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: Yeah exactly. I was like, I'm fine with but yeah,
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: and we mentioned that he's so good. Last last time
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: we were talking about a movie. We were talking about
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: dark comedies and they said, Kevin Spacey was in the
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: one that I mentioned, uh, swimming swimming with sharks, And
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: they said, this is basically a copy of that character.
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: It's like and if you watch it, it's very simio.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: It's just the same business kind of asshole and you're like,
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: oh h, it's pretty neat.
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: I read that it was even a toned down version
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: of himself and swimming with sharks like swinging with starks.
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: He was even worse. Yeah, he was terrazy. I never
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: watched that movie. It's pretty great. You it's good, good time. Yeah,
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: that's not a lot of other stuff going on, though,
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: love it all right.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: Judgment Day. Will there be a sequel?
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Yeah, we talked about it.
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: No, I don't. I don't think so. It just doesn't
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: seem to be anywhere for it to go, you know
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: what I mean. They did it, so I guess there
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: won't be.
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: You're not wrong, Oh yeah, but I was wondering how
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: it did. I didn't look to see if that's always
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: like yeah, success or not?
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: Also lended it. How much later was it?
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: It was twenty fourteen, so three years later.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Not that long.
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: It looks like it still grows.
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: Towe hundred and seven million, Bob, Yeah, so notad but
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: one hundred and fifty million less than the first one.
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: Right, which track?
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: I wonder if they do it again.
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, I would let them.
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: I would like it, or just a lot so good.
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I want them to be the horrible bosses. That'll
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: be the there you go, that's a fun fine. Yeah,
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: and then it's like, you.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Know, passing of the torch.
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: May the kid passing of the torch. Yeah, that's what
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: I'm saying.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: I like all that. That's great.
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: I'll send a letter, I'll talk to I'll talk to colleague.
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: Yeah, because you guys want to play a game. Why,
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: I made a quotes game where I'm going to give
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: you a quote from a film. Once you know the film,
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: you're going to ring in with your name and I'm
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: going to want three pieces of info from you. You
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: can get three points. I want the name of the film.
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: I want the character who said the quote, and I
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: want the actor who played the character. Any of those wrong,
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: someone else can ring in and steal. There are no
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: negative points for wrong answers. All of these films have
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: something in common and probably have something in common with
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: the movie we just talked about.
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: Problem.
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: When you know the theme, you can ring in at
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: any time for a point. Great, and it's not like
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: as in your face you might have to think.
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: About the theme a little bit.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: I'm not going to do that, Okay, I don't don't
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: think all. I'm out.
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: I'm thinking about Well, then you can just listen to
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: the quote.
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: I still didn't. I still didn't win. I got zero points.
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: All right, are you guys ready?
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: So ready?
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: Number one? We thought you was a toad.
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: Bugs?
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Oh brother, where art though? Nicely done? Oh his name
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: it's a three namer? So what is his act? What
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: is the names?
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: And Chatham you can come in after Bukes to just
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: keep it, keep it.
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: I'm trying to keep it Bob or.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Something not Bob, not Bob. Okay, and it's uh, oh,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: I'm banking hard right now. I don't have it. Chatham,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: what do we got? Uh?
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: It's Jesse Tyler Ferguson. I think it's love. It is
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: a three name, I did it?
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Is it even a three namer?
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: It's a person and everything. I don't know. I know
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: it's right here. I know it's im.
- 1:24:44Speaker 4: You know the character name.
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: No, I don't remember the movie as much as I should, honestly,
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: Like I know enough, and I'm like, yeah, so it's
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: Tim Blake Nelson. That's like damn. And his name was
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: del Mar Delmar Delmar o'donald apparently.
- 1:25:00Speaker 4: Okay, all right, that was the first one, win you
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: had not yet, Okay, here's number two. I got it right.
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: I was about to say, all right the second one.
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: Life moves pretty fast if you don't.
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: Yeah, chatting to chat, I didn't say my name, but
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: I knew, yes, Ferris Bueller's day off correct and said it.
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: Ferris Bueller said it. Who is played by played by
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: Broderick Matthew brock Man. Three three point beautiful, Thank you,

- 1:26:16Speaker 3: It is Richard the other guy, the guy the captain.
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: I didn't know if it was that or not. I
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: thought it was the captain who I just recently, but
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: I don't remember his I don't remember his name, either one,
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: the character or the actor. So great, do you know

- 1:27:14Speaker 4: could take a walk and you could kiss me on
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: the veranda. Lips would be fine.
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: Doesn't make.
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: It's two different people. Oh well, we could take a
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: walk and you could kiss me on the veranda.

- 1:31:03Speaker 4: But you can picture Ed Helm saying.
- 1:31:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that's not Alan, that's not Allan's Steve. Okay, but
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: you did get two points for nice. Nice.
