- 0:09Speaker 1: Lives from the Headquarters Club.
- 0:13Speaker 2: It's Hog Lost Vegas. Hey, what's going on, y'all? What's
- 0:36Speaker 2: going on? Welcome back family to the Gospel of John
- 0:41Speaker 2: series right here on the His Hot Radio podcast network.
- 0:48Speaker 2: We're diving deep today into the Gospel of John. We're
- 0:52Speaker 2: gonna turn the Bible to chapter thirteen and we're gonna
- 0:56Speaker 2: pick it back up in verse twenty. We're gonna take
- 1:00Speaker 2: it from twenty to verse thirty eight, and that should
- 1:05Speaker 2: go ahead and complete that chapter for us now. In
- 1:09Speaker 2: this chapter, Jesus exposes the betrayal and reveals what's true
- 1:19Speaker 2: right and reveals what true love looks like, even in
- 1:25Speaker 2: the midst of his pain, and even in the midst
- 1:28Speaker 2: of the fire, even in the midst of it. So
- 1:32Speaker 2: we're gonna get into the Word together. We love to
- 1:35Speaker 2: go chapter by chapter, verse by verse, and we believe
- 1:40Speaker 2: that the ungrafted Word is able to save our souls.
- 1:44Speaker 2: We need to have a healthy diet and healthy discipline,
- 1:49Speaker 2: a daily discipline. This shouldn't just be every Sunday, right,
- 1:54Speaker 2: We shouldn't do this just once a week. I was
- 1:57Speaker 2: talking to my brother Corinth the other day and he
- 2:01Speaker 2: was talking about how in this group we can get
- 2:04Speaker 2: together every day the Fellowship to get in a word
- 2:10Speaker 2: and to build us up. Just think about it. If
- 2:13Speaker 2: you were in the Olympics and you were training for
- 2:16Speaker 2: a particular sport, whether it be soccer or basketball, would
- 2:22Speaker 2: you train every day and expect to win a gold
- 2:25Speaker 2: medal or a bronze or whatever. Would you expect to
- 2:30Speaker 2: be amongst the top competitors. I mean, in this wicked
- 2:35Speaker 2: world that we live in today, there's people out doing witchcraft.
- 2:39Speaker 2: There's people who are out serving the enemy, and they
- 2:44Speaker 2: do it more than just once a week. I mean,
- 2:46Speaker 2: look at how committed they are, you know. And the
- 2:52Speaker 2: Bible says that people compete in sports to win a
- 2:57Speaker 2: corruptible crown. How much more should we compete to win
- 3:02Speaker 2: our heavenly crowns? And so that's what it is. Welcome
- 3:07Speaker 2: to the Winner Circle. And if you really want to
- 3:11Speaker 2: come and join the Winner Circle, download that his hot

- 4:03Speaker 2: the East coast in Chicago with my brother Corinth out there,
- 4:13Speaker 2: it'll be one pm in the afternoon. So if you're
- 4:17Speaker 2: on the East coast, meet us at one o'clock. On
- 4:20Speaker 2: the West coast, meet us at eleven am. Every day
- 4:24Speaker 2: right here except for Sunday. And that's you know, self
- 4:27Speaker 2: explanatory right there. You know what I'm saying. All right,
- 4:31Speaker 2: let's go be for Father and prayer. Father, thank you
- 4:35Speaker 2: for allowing us to wake up, for allowing us to
- 4:38Speaker 2: have another day. Father, be asked that you be with
- 4:42Speaker 2: us today, that you will help us to accomplish our task,
- 4:47Speaker 2: Help us to accomplish our goals for today. Help us,
- 4:52Speaker 2: o God, whether it's work or whether it's school or
- 4:57Speaker 2: whatever you have before us, Help us, o God Lord,
- 4:59Speaker 2: to invite you into our day, to put you first,
- 5:05Speaker 2: that you are truly our first love and Father God,
- 5:10Speaker 2: to help us to get out of the word today
- 5:12Speaker 2: that you want us to get out. Let our hearts
- 5:14Speaker 2: and spirits be open, our minds be open for the
- 5:19Speaker 2: planting of the city of your word. And we come
- 5:21Speaker 2: against any activity of the enemy to snatch the word
- 5:24Speaker 2: out of our hearts. Help us to bear good fruit. Father,
- 5:29Speaker 2: look the ungrafted word. Save our souls as we come
- 5:32Speaker 2: together in Jesus' name. Amen. All right, all right, Well,
- 5:44Speaker 2: this is what some people consider the Last Supper. This
- 5:50Speaker 2: situation went down right before the feast of the Passover.
- 6:01Speaker 2: This passover feast is a celebration of death angel passing
- 6:07Speaker 2: over the nation of Israel while it went and killed
- 6:11Speaker 2: the first born of the land of Egypt. They had
- 6:16Speaker 2: to put blood on their doorpost in order to be
- 6:21Speaker 2: passed over. So they take a sacrificial lamb, and they
- 6:27Speaker 2: also sacrifice on this day. Yes, I believe I'm correct
- 6:33Speaker 2: on that. Yes, And so Jesus is the true and
- 6:38Speaker 2: the real Passover. The blood of Jesus is so powerful
- 6:44Speaker 2: no demon in hell can stand against the cross. We see.
- 6:48Speaker 2: We don't fight for victory, We fight from victory. And
- 6:51Speaker 2: the Bible actually tells us to triumph in the cross.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Triumph is more than victory. You are triumphing right, Look
- 7:01Speaker 2: up that word. Do a study on triumph. When you're
- 7:03Speaker 2: triumphing over the cross, you're excited in celebrating the victory
- 7:09Speaker 2: that's already been won by our Lord and master. He
- 7:13Speaker 2: has made them an open spectacle. Satan has already been defeated.
- 7:20Speaker 2: The only authority he has in your life is what
- 7:24Speaker 2: you allow him to have. And he has to deceive you.
- 7:27Speaker 2: He has to trick you to get it. He has
- 7:29Speaker 2: to get you to agree. That's all. You got to
- 7:33Speaker 2: be careful with your words, be careful what you profess.
- 7:37Speaker 2: If you say, oh, this is never going to happen
- 7:39Speaker 2: and I'm never going to do this and that, you
- 7:41Speaker 2: just cursed yourself and you gave Satan power over you
- 7:46Speaker 2: in that area. Whatever areas you're struggling, you need to
- 7:50Speaker 2: speak the word. You need to send the word. You
- 7:53Speaker 2: need to believe the word. You need to strengthen your faith,
- 7:57Speaker 2: and faith comes by hearing. And this is what we
- 8:01Speaker 2: do right here on the podcast. And also it helps
- 8:03Speaker 2: us with our daily disciplines. We are developing spiritual discipline.
- 8:09Speaker 2: This is your gym session, your spiritual gym session. Just
- 8:13Speaker 2: by showing up is a victory. Just knowing that we're
- 8:17Speaker 2: gonna meet is a victory. Just think there's a reason
- 8:22Speaker 2: why the Bible says do not forsake the assimbiling, the
- 8:27Speaker 2: gathering together. Amen. Your walk with God is gonna be victorious,
- 8:37Speaker 2: determined on how disciplined, how committed, and how loyal we
- 8:41Speaker 2: are to him. Amen. All right. So the Last Supper
- 8:48Speaker 2: in Jesus just talked about who is going He's gonna
- 8:52Speaker 2: be betrayed, and so his disciples are going to ask,
- 8:55Speaker 2: you know, who is it? And all this and so
- 8:58Speaker 2: all this is gonna come out out in the story
- 9:02Speaker 2: as we go verse by verse. So we're gonna tackle
- 9:09Speaker 2: verse twenty as we started off. I see it says
- 9:25Speaker 2: here that most assuredly, I say to you, he who
- 9:29Speaker 2: receives whomever I sin receives me, and he who receives
- 9:35Speaker 2: me receives him who sent me. Now, Jesus here identifies
- 9:40Speaker 2: his representatives with himself and with the Father. Now, to
- 9:48Speaker 2: receive a true servant of Christ is to receive Christ himself. Now,
- 9:59Speaker 2: this remarminds us that how we treat God's people reflect
- 10:03Speaker 2: our heart towards God, and that includes even husband and wives.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Right the Bible says that the husband is the priest
- 10:14Speaker 2: of the home, the king of the home. The wife
- 10:18Speaker 2: is to submit to her husband, but the husband is
- 10:21Speaker 2: to love his wife and lay his life down for her.
- 10:26Speaker 2: But sometimes in a marriage relationship, it's a great example
- 10:29Speaker 2: of your heart towards God. A lot of women that
- 10:36Speaker 2: don't respect their husband because they don't think that he
- 10:39Speaker 2: deserves it, or they like to chop their husband down
- 10:42Speaker 2: into pieces because in their own sight, they've sized them up,
- 10:48Speaker 2: they've judged them, and maybe he is lacking because we
- 10:53Speaker 2: are not perfect. But this reflects our relationship with God,
- 11:01Speaker 2: because the Bible says to submit to your husband as
- 11:05Speaker 2: unto the Lord, and to not just that we're picking
- 11:09Speaker 2: on the girls now. And for the husband to lay
- 11:12Speaker 2: his life down as an example of Christ laid his
- 11:15Speaker 2: life down for the Church. And so Jesus is supposed
- 11:20Speaker 2: to be the reason why we love each other. That's
- 11:24Speaker 2: why relationships fall out because they fall out of love
- 11:29Speaker 2: with Jesus. Now, to receive a true servant of Christ
- 11:36Speaker 2: is to receive him Christ himself. It's not just about respect,
- 11:43Speaker 2: it's about recognizing God's presence in those he sends our way,
- 11:50Speaker 2: Do you recognize God's presence? Do you see God of working?
- 11:56Speaker 2: We are created in his image and in his life.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Miss We need to treat each other with way more
- 12:05Speaker 2: honor and way more respect. Even just a common stranger
- 12:11Speaker 2: was created in God's image. Just think about that, Amen.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Verse twenty one. When Jesus has said these things, he
- 12:22Speaker 2: was troubled in spirit and testified and said, most assuredly,
- 12:27Speaker 2: I say to you, one of you will be training.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Then the disciples looked at one another, perplexed about whom
- 12:38Speaker 2: he spoke. Wow. Now, even though Jesus knew who it
- 12:47Speaker 2: was from the beginning, and Jesus even said that he
- 12:52Speaker 2: chose him, have I not chose the twelve? But yet
- 12:55Speaker 2: one of you is a devil? I think it's very
- 12:59Speaker 2: interesting that his spirit was troubled. Jesus had to go
- 13:07Speaker 2: through his own fire. And although he is God, there
- 13:15Speaker 2: is a very human side to him. He's one hundred
- 13:18Speaker 2: percent man as well, and so he was troubled about that.
- 13:23Speaker 2: He was troubled about Judas betraying him. Now, real love
- 13:38Speaker 2: doesn't disappear when people hurt you. This is what Jesus
- 13:43Speaker 2: is showing us. He's showing us his strength even through sorrow.
- 13:54Speaker 2: He could have had a heartened heart. I mean, just
- 13:58Speaker 2: think about it. How would have you or myself, how
- 14:05Speaker 2: would have we treated Judas if we knew what Jesus
- 14:09Speaker 2: knew it? Would you even be troubled? You know this
- 14:13Speaker 2: guy is about to betray you, stab you in the back.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Would you like harden your heart towards him and be
- 14:21Speaker 2: like ready, you know, to get back at him, get
- 14:23Speaker 2: your revenge, and you know, get what he deserved. No,
- 14:27Speaker 2: Jesus had a troubled heart over this man. That just
- 14:34Speaker 2: shows how much he loves us, and it just shows
- 14:38Speaker 2: his heart Verse twenty two through twenty five. Then the
- 14:50Speaker 2: disciples looked at one another, perplexed about whom he spoke.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Now there was leaning on Jesus's bosom, one of his
- 14:59Speaker 2: disciples whom Jesus loved, Simon Peter therefore motion to him
- 15:07Speaker 2: to ask who it was of whom he spake. Then,
- 15:14Speaker 2: leaning back on Jesus's breast, he said to him, Lord,
- 15:20Speaker 2: who is it? Man? I'm jealous? Hallelujah. He was able
- 15:29Speaker 2: to kick back and lean and lay on our savior Hallelujah. Now, John,
- 15:36Speaker 2: Often he would describe himself as the disciple whom Jesus loved.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Not out of pride, I wouldn't say, but by identity.
- 15:47Speaker 2: His worth was rooted in Christ's love. Now, how much
- 15:52Speaker 2: more should our worth be rooted in that? Amen? Where
- 15:56Speaker 2: you get your identity from? Where do you get your
- 15:58Speaker 2: wealth from? How do you measure yourself as far as
- 16:02Speaker 2: how people treat you or what people say about you? Now,
- 16:08Speaker 2: that's the same way we should see ourselves. You're not
- 16:12Speaker 2: you're mistakes. You are who Jesus says, you are loved,
- 16:22Speaker 2: chosen and forgiven. I'm under the fire right now as
- 16:29Speaker 2: I speak, and as I said in my testimony, I
- 16:34Speaker 2: was in a weird situation in my first marriage. And
- 16:39Speaker 2: I have three beautiful boys from my first marriage, but
- 16:49Speaker 2: we're kind of apart from each other right now. My
- 16:53Speaker 2: boys are really going through it and it breaks my
- 16:57Speaker 2: heart to see and I really don't don't have a
- 17:01Speaker 2: strong connection with them. And so, you know, we have
- 17:08Speaker 2: a presence online. You know, I have a DJ service
- 17:13Speaker 2: that I do on the side to help our nonprofit,
- 17:17Speaker 2: and we run yelp in a different places. You can
- 17:20Speaker 2: see our reviews on our website, his hoot nation dot com.
- 17:24Speaker 2: But every so often I see, you know, one of
- 17:27Speaker 2: my sons get on there and they post a nasty review,
- 17:33Speaker 2: you know, just real nasty, really trying to get at me,
- 17:36Speaker 2: you know, really trying to to tear me down, you know,
- 17:40Speaker 2: and to destroy my character and things like that. And
- 17:44Speaker 2: I've shared in my testimony that my first marriage was
- 17:48Speaker 2: it was crazy, and I'll probably share it again soon
- 17:53Speaker 2: as the Lord opens that door. And at first it
- 17:58Speaker 2: caught me off guard when I saw it, you know,
- 18:00Speaker 2: I mean, he posting a podcast, he posts on yep,
- 18:03Speaker 2: he posts in a lot of different spots, just randomly.
- 18:07Speaker 2: And this is my son that I love. I love
- 18:09Speaker 2: all my boys and keep us in prayer. But the
- 18:16Speaker 2: reason why I'm bringing this up is because if I
- 18:23Speaker 2: allow that to linger in my heart, if I allow
- 18:28Speaker 2: these negative reviews to just distract me and I start
- 18:35Speaker 2: focusing on them and all this stuff, it would hinder
- 18:39Speaker 2: me from what God has called me to do. I
- 18:45Speaker 2: have to remind myself I am who God says I am.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Of course, I've asked for forgiveness, I've asked for reconciliation
- 18:55Speaker 2: in these relationships, but I got to remember that I'm
- 18:58Speaker 2: loved like it wouldn't matter at the end of the day,
- 19:01Speaker 2: is what does God say about me. I'm chosen, I'm forgiven,
- 19:07Speaker 2: and I know that He's gonna open up doors for
- 19:11Speaker 2: my family, my boys to be restored to me. Amen,
- 19:18Speaker 2: And so that minister to me, let's go to verse
- 19:24Speaker 2: twenty six.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Looks like you lost another one.
- 19:27Speaker 2: We're gonna take it all the way to twenty seven.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Jesus answered, it is he to whom I shall give
- 19:36Speaker 2: a piece of bread when I have dipped it. Having
- 19:41Speaker 2: dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas Scariot, the
- 19:46Speaker 2: son of Simon. Now after the piece of bread, saying
- 19:50Speaker 2: to enter him, And Jesus said to him, what you
- 19:54Speaker 2: do do quickly? Now this is crazy right here, even
- 20:08Speaker 2: this act dipping the bread, that was even a gesture
- 20:13Speaker 2: of friendship. Jesus gave Judas one last opportunity for repentance.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Sometimes God still gives you grace even when your heart's
- 20:28Speaker 2: halfway gone. But if you keep rejecting truth, at one point,
- 20:37Speaker 2: the enemy will take over what's left thinking about it,
- 20:44Speaker 2: if you keep rebelling, if you keep rejecting truth, if
- 20:53Speaker 2: you're constantly saying no to the Holy Spirit, or if
- 20:57Speaker 2: you're constantly ignoring the leading of the Spirit, and if
- 21:04Speaker 2: you're reading the Word but you're not a doer of
- 21:07Speaker 2: the word, it can take us to a sad place. Remember, beloved,
- 21:16Speaker 2: the Bible calls us sheep. You know what I mean.
- 21:20Speaker 2: There's no superman in the kingdom except for Jesus. But
- 21:24Speaker 2: the rest of us, from the pastors on down, we're
- 21:28Speaker 2: just sheep. And if you look at sheep, sheep are
- 21:32Speaker 2: like the dumbest animals on the planet, Like they can't
- 21:38Speaker 2: even live in the wilderness without a shepherd, Like they
- 21:41Speaker 2: need human intervention. I can't think of any other animals
- 21:48Speaker 2: out there that needs that. If they were left to
- 21:51Speaker 2: their own, they were probably the predators and everything out there.
- 21:55Speaker 2: They probably would have been wiped off the earth years ago. Us,
- 22:03Speaker 2: that is us, beloved, Our hearts can lead us astray.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Do not trust your heart. This is why I say
- 22:11Speaker 2: you got to develop that daily discipline, because the Bible
- 22:15Speaker 2: says we got to renew our minds daily. Why do
- 22:18Speaker 2: you think we got to renew our minds? Think about
- 22:21Speaker 2: it daily? Why do you think the Bible says crucify
- 22:26Speaker 2: your flesh like kill it daily. I used to be
- 22:32Speaker 2: into this show Walking Dead years ago when it was
- 22:37Speaker 2: real popular and when it first came out. And if
- 22:43Speaker 2: you really want to look at that show, you had
- 22:45Speaker 2: zombies that were walking around. They took over the society
- 22:52Speaker 2: and they were just killing the people that were left.
- 23:00Speaker 2: That's the picture of us outside of the Cross. Your
- 23:05Speaker 2: flesh is a dead carcass walking around all the like.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Think about what really comes out of your flesh. Think
- 23:16Speaker 2: about the jealousy and the envy, the lies, the deception,
- 23:20Speaker 2: the fear, the insecurity. No, there's no good thing that
- 23:24Speaker 2: comes from the flesh. You gotta kill it, and you
- 23:27Speaker 2: gotta put the word in your heart. We got to
- 23:30Speaker 2: put our trust in God's word. People put too much
- 23:34Speaker 2: trust in their own mind, their own thoughts, their own
- 23:37Speaker 2: emotions and desires when they're being deceived. At one point,
- 23:41Speaker 2: the enemy can take over if you continue to resist
- 23:47Speaker 2: the leading of the spirit. And one of those is
- 23:53Speaker 2: just simply by meeting us here on a podcast every day,
- 23:58Speaker 2: just so that you can renew your mind, so that
- 24:02Speaker 2: we can fellowship, get in a life chat, so that
- 24:04Speaker 2: we can pray for each other and hold each other accountable.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Right because our hearts are so deceitful. We can't even
- 24:14Speaker 2: trust ourselves. Right, you can be your own Judas if
- 24:20Speaker 2: you're not careful, all right, Verse twenty eight and thirty.
- 24:34Speaker 2: But no one at the table knew for what reason
- 24:38Speaker 2: he said this to him? For some thought, because Judas
- 24:43Speaker 2: had the money box, that Jesus had said to him
- 24:47Speaker 2: buy those things we need for the feast, or that
- 24:54Speaker 2: he should give something to the poor, having received it
- 25:00Speaker 2: piece of bread. He then went out immediately, and it
- 25:06Speaker 2: was night. This dude didn't even hesitate. He went out immediately.
- 25:11Speaker 2: He like, like, first of all, did it dawn him
- 25:16Speaker 2: that Jesus says, yeah, I know who one of you
- 25:21Speaker 2: is going to be trading? Like did that catch his attention? Like?
- 25:28Speaker 2: Where was his conviction or discernment? He knew it was him,
- 25:35Speaker 2: even when the disciples were looking around the table asking
- 25:39Speaker 2: is it me? Is it me? And Judas had a
- 25:43Speaker 2: heart issue. I believe that his god was Mammon because
- 25:48Speaker 2: he used to steal money out of the money box,
- 25:54Speaker 2: as his scripture said. When the alabaster box was poured
- 25:58Speaker 2: out on the Lord preparing him for his burial, he
- 26:03Speaker 2: objected to it because of the cost. He was thinking
- 26:08Speaker 2: of what he could steal. He could have stolen from it,
- 26:11Speaker 2: like where was his heart at? And so thirty pieces
- 26:15Speaker 2: of silver one he thought it was worth cashing in
- 26:21Speaker 2: his relationship with Christ, the savior of the universe. Let
- 26:29Speaker 2: us not be the Judas. Let us not sell out
- 26:32Speaker 2: for money, let us not be that Amen. I mean,
- 26:41Speaker 2: this is this is good. We can get a lot
- 26:43Speaker 2: from it. I could spend the rest of the podcast
- 26:46Speaker 2: just on Judas right now, but we got to keep going. Now.
- 26:53Speaker 2: We also need to look at John's phrase. And it
- 26:57Speaker 2: was night. Now he's not just talking about the time,
- 27:03Speaker 2: but it's very symbolic. Jesus walked into darkness, and he
- 27:10Speaker 2: did it both physically and spiritually. See, when you walk
- 27:14Speaker 2: away from Jesus, you walk into darkness. You need to
- 27:21Speaker 2: stay close to the life, and your heart will deceive you.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Your heart will allow you to walk right into darkness
- 27:29Speaker 2: if you're not careful, all right, Verse thirty one to
- 27:37Speaker 2: thirty three. So when he had gone out, Jesus said,
- 27:45Speaker 2: now the son of Man is glorified, and God is
- 27:50Speaker 2: glorified in him. If God is glorified in him, God
- 27:55Speaker 2: will also glorify him in himself. And glorylorify him immediately. Wow,
- 28:07Speaker 2: this is amazing, little children. I shall be with you
- 28:15Speaker 2: a little while longer. You will seek me. And as
- 28:20Speaker 2: I said to the Jews where I am going, you
- 28:23Speaker 2: cannot come. So now I say to you, all right,
- 28:31Speaker 2: let's look at this. Let's go back to verse thirty one.
- 28:40Speaker 2: So when he had gone out, Jesus said, now the
- 28:43Speaker 2: son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in him.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Little children, I shall be with you a little while longer.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Even as the shadow of the cross loomed over our savior,
- 28:56Speaker 2: Jesus spoke of glory, suffering God's plan of redemption. It
- 29:04Speaker 2: was being fulfilled right then and right there. God can
- 29:11Speaker 2: turn even your darkest trial into a moment of joy
- 29:16Speaker 2: and of glory. What the enemy means to harm you,
- 29:20Speaker 2: God can use it to reveal his power. Even though
- 29:26Speaker 2: he meant it for evil, God can turn it around
- 29:28Speaker 2: for good. And I want you to notice, Jesus, I
- 29:35Speaker 2: mean a Judas didn't hesitate. He immediately went out into
- 29:40Speaker 2: the dark so that he could betray his savior. And
- 29:49Speaker 2: immediately the Lord's response was the focus on God. He
- 29:59Speaker 2: started praising God. He started focusing on his father. He
- 30:03Speaker 2: was focusing on heavenly things. That's an example for us.
- 30:09Speaker 2: You may be going through the fire, someone may have
- 30:12Speaker 2: betrayed you. We know that we're living in some crazy
- 30:17Speaker 2: times right now. People on your job maybe out to
- 30:25Speaker 2: get you, or even in your family, marriages may be
- 30:29Speaker 2: breaking apart, maybe even betrayed in some particular way. We
- 30:36Speaker 2: need to immediately focus on heaven, to immediately focus on
- 30:41Speaker 2: the Lord. Immediately begin to lift him up and to
- 30:49Speaker 2: give him praise. Amen. Verse thirty four thirty five. A
- 31:11Speaker 2: new commandment. I give to you that you love one
- 31:15Speaker 2: another as I have loved you, But you also love
- 31:20Speaker 2: one another. By this, all will know that you are
- 31:26Speaker 2: my disciples if you have loved one for another. Now,
- 31:44Speaker 2: the newness of this commandment is not the fact that
- 31:49Speaker 2: he's telling us to love right, but it's the quality
- 31:56Speaker 2: of the love as I have loved you, And the
- 32:02Speaker 2: way the Lord loves us is a sacrificial love. His
- 32:07Speaker 2: love was sacrifice, sacrificial. You can't claim to follow Jesus
- 32:14Speaker 2: and not walk in love. It's impossible. His love is
- 32:20Speaker 2: proof of his presence in your life. Let me say
- 32:26Speaker 2: that again. His love is proof of his presence that
- 32:34Speaker 2: is in your life. Amen. It should be love. That's
- 32:43Speaker 2: the first thing I look for when I join in
- 32:47Speaker 2: ministry or when I see someone ministring. If I don't
- 32:52Speaker 2: see the love of God, I'm not drawn to that ministry.
- 32:56Speaker 2: I'm really not drawn to that person. If I see
- 32:58Speaker 2: a person is always rude and always tearing someone down,
- 33:03Speaker 2: always critical or criticizing, and someone that is just not
- 33:08Speaker 2: expressing the love of God. Ben, I don't know. I'm
- 33:18Speaker 2: a little sus right as my children would say. You know,
- 33:22Speaker 2: a little sus like I need the love of God.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I need the love of God in my life around me,
- 33:30Speaker 2: in me, I need the love of God. Now, there's
- 33:33Speaker 2: enough craziness out in this world. Let us be producers
- 33:39Speaker 2: of God's love. Amen. Let us invite His presence in
- 33:43Speaker 2: us so that we can bear that fruit in the world. Hallelujah,
- 33:50Speaker 2: all right. Verse thirty six through thirty eight. As we
- 33:54Speaker 2: close out Semon, Peter says to him, Lord, where are
- 33:59Speaker 2: you going? Jesus answer him, where I am going. You
- 34:03Speaker 2: cannot follow me now, but you shall follow me Afterward.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Peter said to him, Lord, why can I not follow
- 34:13Speaker 2: you now? I will lay down my life for your sake.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Jesus said to him, will you lay down your life
- 34:22Speaker 2: for my sake. Most as shortly I say to you,
- 34:27Speaker 2: the rooster shall not crow till you have denied me
- 34:31Speaker 2: three times. Now, this is the famous denial of Peter.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Jesus prophesies this. Now. I believe that Peter was sincere.
- 34:46Speaker 2: He was sincere in his intentions, but he trusted in
- 34:51Speaker 2: his own strength. Remember I said a few minutes ago,
- 34:53Speaker 2: we can't even trust our own hearts. We end up
- 35:00Speaker 2: going to hell is because we became our own judas.
- 35:05Speaker 2: We betrayed ourselves by following our own hearts, trusting in
- 35:10Speaker 2: our own strength and our own ability. That's why God
- 35:14Speaker 2: hates pride so much, because we need him. But Jesus
- 35:22Speaker 2: had to teach him humility through failure. Sometimes your failure
- 35:27Speaker 2: is a lesson. Whatever you have failed in your walk
- 35:33Speaker 2: with the Lord up to this point, let it be
- 35:37Speaker 2: a lesson in humility. Let it be an eye opener
- 35:42Speaker 2: to let you know, like you can't do this in
- 35:44Speaker 2: your own strength. You need the Lord. God allows moments
- 35:49Speaker 2: of weaknesses, so we learn that strength doesn't come from
- 35:55Speaker 2: our own confidence, it comes from His grace. That's why
- 36:04Speaker 2: the Bible says, come boldly before the throne of grace.
- 36:07Speaker 2: What do you think a prayer life is for? What
- 36:10Speaker 2: is that all about? To go get what we need
- 36:13Speaker 2: from the source. If we need holiness, he's got it.
- 36:19Speaker 2: If we thirst, he's got that. If we hunger, he's
- 36:23Speaker 2: got that. If we need forgiveness, we find it there.
- 36:28Speaker 2: God can change any situation in circumstance that we can
- 36:35Speaker 2: bring before him. But that's the point we have to
- 36:39Speaker 2: come to him. Amen. You see, real discipleship is proven
- 36:47Speaker 2: not by titles or talk, but is by love, the
- 36:55Speaker 2: kind that endures betrayal, even it endures darkness and it
- 37:04Speaker 2: endures weaknesses. Amen. We need the love of God to
- 37:14Speaker 2: feel our hearts. Hallelujah. All right, we'll be right back
- 37:21Speaker 2: after this music break.
- 37:24Speaker 3: You are listening to the light like Las Vegas. This
- 37:28Speaker 3: is the his Hop radio show.
- 37:32Speaker 2: It's God over Everything.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I put that on my mother and.
- 37:45Speaker 2: You made this.

- 39:51Speaker 1: gonna you pretend to be. Let me find out that
- 39:54Speaker 1: Jesus Christ is your men I mean, let me find out.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Let me, let me find out, find out the Let
- 40:01Speaker 1: me find out, pett me find out they, let me
- 40:05Speaker 1: find out, pitt me find out. Let me find out,
- 40:09Speaker 1: pitt me find out. They've let me find out, pip
- 40:13Speaker 1: me find out they're nit me find out, pive me
- 40:16Speaker 1: find out. They let me find out, petting me find out.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Let me find out you.
- 40:36Speaker 3: Are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This is
- 40:40Speaker 3: the hiss Hop radio show.
- 40:46Speaker 2: All Right, we're back. That was a third day the
- 40:50Speaker 2: mouthpiece with let me find Out. Yeah, see, we gotta
- 40:56Speaker 2: find out. We gotta search our hearts, and the best
- 41:01Speaker 2: way we can do that is when we measure it
- 41:03Speaker 2: against the word of God. Amen. All right, now it's
- 41:12Speaker 2: time for the accountability Partners. Segments will postseas in a
- 41:17Speaker 2: life chat as well. And so this segment was birth
- 41:22Speaker 2: out of the fact that I was working the altar
- 41:25Speaker 2: at church and I noticed my brothers and sisters they
- 41:30Speaker 2: are struggling with the same sin that they're struggling with
- 41:34Speaker 2: a year ago. You know, we're supposed to be growing.
- 41:36Speaker 2: We're supposed to progress in our walk with God. We're
- 41:40Speaker 2: not just supposed to stay stuck and just struggle with
- 41:42Speaker 2: the same old area in our lives. We're supposed to
- 41:47Speaker 2: let that go and give it to God and get deliverance.
- 41:52Speaker 2: And sometimes you need help, you need that partner. You
- 41:55Speaker 2: need agreement in prayer. If you look up, do a
- 41:58Speaker 2: study on agreement and how powerful agreement is. The Bible
- 42:03Speaker 2: tells us one can chase a thousand, but two can
- 42:05Speaker 2: chase ten thousands, tens of thousands. Right, that's why marriage
- 42:11Speaker 2: could be so powerful when you're on one accord. Unity
- 42:15Speaker 2: is powerful. Satan hates unity. He'll do everything he can
- 42:20Speaker 2: to destroy unity of any family, any church, any ministry,
- 42:25Speaker 2: anything significant for God. That's why we've got to contend
- 42:30Speaker 2: for the unity. And one of the ways to do
- 42:34Speaker 2: it is to get real right just right here is
- 42:38Speaker 2: like I said before, like this is your small group
- 42:41Speaker 2: on the radio station, because some of us don't have
- 42:44Speaker 2: that opportunity to have small groups. Some churches are either
- 42:48Speaker 2: way too big to get to know each other, or
- 42:52Speaker 2: some pastors just don't even teach or encourage small groups. Right.
- 42:57Speaker 2: They don't trust their people to gather to get other
- 43:00Speaker 2: in groups because they think they're gonna run off with
- 43:03Speaker 2: their members or something. I don't know, but the Bible
- 43:07Speaker 2: encourages it. And so right here, if you want to participate,
- 43:14Speaker 2: at the top left menu, click on podcast and click
- 43:18Speaker 2: on the Hiss Hot Radio podcast and fill up the
- 43:23Speaker 2: form like at least go through the questions. Use it
- 43:26Speaker 2: as like a self check and I would suggest do
- 43:29Speaker 2: it daily just so that you can, you know, check
- 43:33Speaker 2: off like how am I doing spiritually and actually use integrity.
- 43:38Speaker 2: You gotta be honest with yourself, remember your heart will
- 43:41Speaker 2: lie to you. If you want to see Judas look
- 43:45Speaker 2: in the mirror. Your flesh will betray you in a second.
- 43:51Speaker 2: So be honest because God already knows right, it's between
- 43:56Speaker 2: you and God. It's not me. I'm nobody really, I'm
- 44:00Speaker 2: just a tool or a vessel. But this is for
- 44:03Speaker 2: your walk with the Lord, so that you can be
- 44:05Speaker 2: honest with him and do a self check and then
- 44:10Speaker 2: you can fill it out and request a follow up
- 44:13Speaker 2: and then myself or someone on the team, or maybe
- 44:15Speaker 2: we can if you don't mind, we could read your
- 44:21Speaker 2: response or talk about it life you're on the podcast
- 44:26Speaker 2: and as a family work through the issues. And then
- 44:31Speaker 2: the point of it is to get to the point
- 44:33Speaker 2: of victory and to apply the word to it. Right,
- 44:38Speaker 2: we need godly counsel and so yeah, that's how you
- 44:44Speaker 2: want to if you want to participate with that. And
- 44:47Speaker 2: also we give out a daily challenge as well, and
- 44:52Speaker 2: I post this also in the Life Chat. The challenge
- 44:55Speaker 2: is for you to ask your accountability partner, if you
- 44:57Speaker 2: already have one, ask him this week have I shown
- 45:02Speaker 2: christ Like love even to those who've hurt me? And
- 45:09Speaker 2: then pray together for the strength to love even when
- 45:12Speaker 2: it's hard even when it's difficult. Amen. Matter of fact,
- 45:20Speaker 2: I'm gonna call my accountability partner pray for that, because man,
- 45:25Speaker 2: if you get run sometimes out hand these streets and
- 45:30Speaker 2: then uh, Also, we just want to let you know.

- 45:59Speaker 2: three for always showing up faithfully, my brother, my brother
- 46:04Speaker 2: Corint for popping in. And actually Corint invited his fiance
- 46:11Speaker 2: that download the app just yesterday the other day and
- 46:14Speaker 2: she's on there and she's in a live chat. What's substance?
- 46:17Speaker 2: Thank you for joining the family, what's up to? Of course,
- 46:21Speaker 2: my wife Missus is hot for popping in, and our
- 46:24Speaker 2: sister Quincy, what's the tech? Everyone who's popped in from
- 46:30Speaker 2: time to time, and the ones who are doing it
- 46:33Speaker 2: faithfully I believe are getting the most out of this.
- 46:38Speaker 2: You know, we get out of it what we put
- 46:40Speaker 2: into it, right, And I just want to shout y'all
- 46:44Speaker 2: out and appreciate y'all. So if you have that music,
- 46:48Speaker 2: thout all the information so that you can get credit
- 46:52Speaker 2: for it. And if you want to move up on
- 46:55Speaker 2: the charts, consider purchasing one of our advertisement packages, very affordable,
- 47:02Speaker 2: none is gonna break the bank, and that will help
- 47:06Speaker 2: your song, your track get out there even further. Amen.
- 47:12Speaker 2: All right, now it's trivia time. The trivia question for
- 47:15Speaker 2: today is who betrayed Jesus and what symbolized his betrayal
- 47:24Speaker 2: in John chapter thirteen. So who was it that betrayed
- 47:29Speaker 2: Jesus and what symbolized his betrayal? What you read that chapter?
- 47:35Speaker 2: Post that in a life check so you can get
- 47:38Speaker 2: some bragging rights. Let's see who gets the correct answer
- 47:41Speaker 2: the quickest. Community shout out. We are at community radio station.
- 47:52Speaker 2: If you have an event, a concert and outreach, if
- 47:55Speaker 2: you got something going in your community, let us know
- 47:59Speaker 2: and we will shout you out right here on the
- 48:01Speaker 2: radio station. It's like a public service announcement. So if
- 48:06Speaker 2: you need help passing out flyers or some assistance, or
- 48:10Speaker 2: just doing something a football game, basketball game, whatever you got,
- 48:15Speaker 2: we want to be involved with it and sponsor it
- 48:19Speaker 2: right here on the radio station. So the way that
- 48:22Speaker 2: you submit your info is go to the website hshtnation
- 48:26Speaker 2: dot com and click on the podcast logo on the
- 48:32Speaker 2: homepage and submit your information. Look for public service announcements
- 48:38Speaker 2: and that's all it takes, and we will let our
- 48:41Speaker 2: community know what you got going. We are gearing up
- 48:46Speaker 2: for our Toys for Tots events. We're doing toy drives,
- 48:51Speaker 2: we're participating with the Giving Tuesday. You can actually find
- 48:56Speaker 2: that on the website. Now you don't have to wait
- 48:58Speaker 2: until Giving Tuesday. If you want to give, we can
- 49:01Speaker 2: start it even now to get the word out there.
- 49:07Speaker 2: And so we got some events. If you need toys
- 49:09Speaker 2: this year, we need you to sign up on our website.
- 49:14Speaker 2: It's opnation dot com once it's open. Where we haven't
- 49:17Speaker 2: opened up to sign up yet, we'll do it soon
- 49:22Speaker 2: because November is right up on us. So we're gonna
- 49:26Speaker 2: get you to sign up for that so that you
- 49:30Speaker 2: can be in line to get some toys this year.
- 49:36Speaker 2: And also are nonprofit. We're receiving food donations and we're
- 49:42Speaker 2: getting breakfast sandwiches from McDonald's. So if you know someone
- 49:47Speaker 2: who can use some food and eat some of these sandwiches.
- 49:50Speaker 2: They come frozen and we get a lot. We got
- 49:55Speaker 2: so much that we have no more room for these items.
- 49:59Speaker 2: So we're looking to give to the community. So yeah,
- 50:04Speaker 2: if you know someone a family, or if you were
- 50:09Speaker 2: like some posted in a life chat, let us know
- 50:12Speaker 2: and then we'll let you know our next pickup and

- 50:33Speaker 2: oh one ced three. His how Nation is on a

- 51:16Speaker 2: can get credit for that. Yeah, we're gonna close it
- 51:26Speaker 2: out done chapter thirteen. We are getting ready to accomplish
- 51:35Speaker 2: another book. Hallelujah. I love doing this daily because we
- 51:39Speaker 2: get through the whole word. If you go to the archives,
- 51:42Speaker 2: you will see that we've already done Revelations and Jude
- 51:49Speaker 2: and a lot of other books. But thank you for
- 51:52Speaker 2: sticking with us in this book. So Family, Today's Journey

- 52:05Speaker 2: in the upper room. Stay tuned, stay connected, and remember
- 52:10Speaker 2: it's not about us. It's all about the Christ and
- 52:13Speaker 2: us God. Bless y'all.
- 52:18Speaker 3: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 52:22Speaker 3: is the Hiss Hop Radio Show.
