In 2010 a young Swedish manboy took part in Melodifestivalen for the first time, and on his second attempt the next year he won it. He kind of started the trend to win Melodifestivalen on the second attempt and he also started the trend of good Swedish results as he finished third in Düsseldorf, where he became quite popular. He made headlines at both these appearances with his elaborate stage acts, which included showering on stage and the breaking of glass.
