Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
0:03
Epstein Chronicles. One of the most effective tools that was
0:08
wielded and used by Jeffrey Epstein and those associated to
0:13
him was the NDA. And the whole entire point behind
0:18
the NDA, obviously was to keep things quiet, to make
0:22
sure that nobody else knew what was going on, and
0:26
Jeffrey Epstein effectively wielded these NDAs as a shield, and
0:31
his strategy was very effective. It kept a lot of
0:34
people from coming forward, and it kept a lot of
0:37
truth from being known. And now, according to sources, the
0:41
House Oversight Committee has now started to chew on the
0:45
idea of hitting some people with subpoenas that might be
0:49
involved with these NDAs. And remember, criminal cord is where
0:54
NDA is going to die. You're not going to be
0:57
protected by an NDA in a criminal matter. So if
1:01
you're accused of sexually assaulting somebody, you can't fall back
1:06
on the NDA and use that as your, you know, shield,
1:10
That's not what the NDA is. An NDA just means
1:14
you can't disclose to the public or anybody else you're
1:18
a relationship status with whoever you sign the NDA with.
1:23
It's not some kind of repellent if you will, that
1:27
keeps you clean and free from state or federal charges.
1:32
That's not what an NDA is. And if somebody is
1:34
referred for a criminal matter, then the NDA goes directly
1:37
out the window. The problem is, nobody's been referred criminally, right,
1:43
well besides Frederick Flecai and mister Levigne. But besides that,
1:47
we haven't seen anybody get referred to justice to have
1:51
a case opened up on them. But up until this point,
1:54
the Justice Department has shown zero desire to pursue people
1:58
in a criminal nature. So I don't know if that's
2:01
going to change because the referral it should, But considering
2:06
who's running the show over here, I have my doubts.
2:09
So today's article was published by Politico and the headline
2:13
the secret settlements protecting Jeffrey Epstein's friends. Oh, there's plenty
2:17
of those. This article was authored by Jacob Shamsian. Members
2:23
of the House Oversight Committee have discussed issuing subpoenas to
2:26
people who could testify about secret settlements between some of
2:30
Jeffrey Epstein's friends and his accusers. Well, we know for
2:33
a fact Leon Black is one of them. I think
2:36
that we can state that definitively. We've heard on record
2:41
about the NDA that Guzelle Ganievas signed and the other
2:45
girls that were allegedly with Leon Black that they had
2:48
to sign, So I have no doubt that Leon Black
2:53
is one of these associates that they're talking about. Some
2:59
of Epstein's accusers have signed confidential pre litigation settlements with
3:02
friends of the sex offender whom they have also accused
3:06
of misconduct, according to three people with direct knowledge of
3:09
such settlements, including Brad Edwards, an attorney who has represented
3:14
more than two hundred of Epstein's accusers. And remember, the
3:17
whole entire idea was to make it go away. That's
3:20
what they wanted to do. They didn't want us to
3:23
talk about this. They never wanted this to come back
3:26
up and rear its ugly head. These sons of bitches
3:29
thought they got away with it. They thought that they
3:32
had such a great campaign out there that they had
3:35
people believing that everything's just a bunch of bs. But
3:39
when you have the documentation that's been released and you
3:42
have the witness statements that we have, I honestly have
3:45
to question your integrity or your intelligence if you still
3:48
can't grasp what was going on. These settlements include non
3:53
disclosure agreements that prohibit them from speaking publicly about their experiences.
3:58
Edwards and the other people told Business Insider part of
4:01
the Axel Springer Global Reporters network, which includes Politico, The
4:06
houseoversych Committee's investigating the Justice Department's handling of its Epstein investigations,
4:12
and its scheduled to conduct voluntary interviews with associates of
4:15
Epstein in the coming weeks. Those conversations won't be under
4:19
oath and participants won't be legally compelled to answer every question.
4:26
Refer to the episode from yesterday. This is my biggest problem.
4:30
There's no teeth. There is nothing that is an enforcement
4:34
mechanism here. So we're getting the run around. And I mean,
4:38
they couldn't even be courteous enough to give us a
4:40
reach around while we're getting the run around. None of
4:43
this should be voluntary. The days for volunteering information have
4:47
come and gone. These people could have come forward at
4:51
any time without this whole entire thing blowing up, right,
4:54
But remember they chose not to. They chose to remain quiet,
4:58
and only under great pressure have they come forward. Subpoena
5:04
could require witnesses to answer questions even if they have
5:06
signed a non disclosure agreement, though the Committee would need
5:10
the majority support to issue one. A spokesperson for Committee
5:14
Democrats said that its members have discussed issuing the subpoenas.
5:18
A spokesperson for Committee Republicans, which holds the majority, said
5:22
they are aware of the settlements between Epstein's accusers and disassociates,
5:27
and declined to comment further. Yeah, because it's a whitewash.
5:30
I know people don't want to hear that shit. I
5:33
know there's a lot of people out there that are
5:34
you know, Republicans swing right, and they don't want to
5:37
believe that they're lawmakers, the people they respect, the people
5:42
they voted for, would be this insidious, but they are. Look,
5:48
these people are completely captured by Donald Trump, and the
5:51
vast majority of them do not have the courage to
5:53
go against the grain. So instead they'll just continue to
5:56
break dance through a minefield so that they can please
6:00
Donald Trump, because they know the backlash that's come in
6:03
their way if they don't look at the message that's
6:06
been sent. So I doubt these Republicans are going to
6:10
grow a backbone anytime soon and stand up to Donald
6:13
Trump when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein. It's unclear how
6:18
many Epstein accusers signed pre litigation settlements and with how
6:22
many of his associates. No public records for them exist.
6:26
One person told Business Insider they had direct knowledge of
6:29
settlements with four of Epstein's friends who were accused of
6:33
sexual misconduct by more than twenty women. Between them, the
6:37
person said, the women accused those men of coercing them
6:40
into non consensual and abusive sexual encounters. Well, there's a
6:44
whole lot of that going on, and a whole lot
6:47
of people in Jeffrey Epstein's world were engaging in that shit,
6:52
whether with girls that were provided or introduced to them
6:55
by Jeffrey Epstein or otherwise. When I tell you about
6:58
fellow travelers, that's what I mean. How many of you
7:02
hang out with people that you don't have shit in
7:04
common with? Not very many, right, Maybe, like you know,
7:10
your spouse's best friend's husband that you're forced to go to,
7:14
you know, wine tasting with you don't really care for them, Okay, great,
7:17
But the vast majority of times you're gonna hang out
7:20
with people that you have stuff in common with, people
7:22
that you know you enjoy their company, their conversation, and
7:26
you guys have interests that you share in common. A
7:32
settlement isn't necessarily an indication of wrongdoing. No, we're just
7:35
paying out money because you know why not. That's what
7:38
rich people do. They don't just crush people in court.
7:41
They pay out money. Like what planet are we on?
7:46
When's the last time a rich person reached into their
7:49
pocket just to hand out some money. While parties can
7:55
use settlements to resolve civil legal claims, they do not
7:58
have the power to block criminal proceedings. That's true, and
8:02
that's why I tell you that criminal court is where
8:05
the NDAs go to die. The second it becomes a
8:07
criminal matter, that NDA doesn't mean shit. The House Oversight
8:12
Committee raised the issue of secret settlements in an interview
8:15
with Bill Gates earlier this month. A Republican staffer asked
8:18
the former Microsoft CEO if he had security a settlement
8:22
in connection to Jeffrey Epstein, Ghlaine Maxwell, or any of
8:26
their victims. According to a transcript made public on Tuesday,
8:29
Gates said he had not. Well, that's cool. I guess
8:33
we can just believe Bill Gates right, another paragon of truth.
8:39
The existence of these settlements came into the spotlight because
8:42
of a court filing by Maxwell, who was convicted in
8:45
twenty twenty one for her role in grooming and recruiting
8:48
girls for Epstein to sexually abuse. In December, Maxwell filed
8:52
a petition for a writ of habeas corpus, a last
8:56
ditch attempt to get out of prison after the US
8:58
Supreme Court rejected her appeal. Her filing cited a twenty
9:03
twenty four podcast interview in which Edward said that his
9:06
clients could have brought lawsuits against between ten and fifteen
9:10
of Epstein's friends. Some of those men signed confidential settlements
9:14
with the clients over allegations of mistreatment. Edward said, and
9:18
now Maxwell has launched another hell Mary once again trying
9:21
to rely on the NPA to get her out of
9:24
the clink. And if you were wondering why I talk
9:28
so much about the NPA and why it should be
9:30
done away with, this is why. But sure, let's talk
9:33
about bullshit. Let's continue to spin our wills in neutral
9:37
and let these people get away with it. As we
9:39
continue to waste time on bullshit, salacious nonsense that goes nowhere.
9:43
There are still people that I personally think should have
9:45
been exposed, but not at the expense of your client's wishes,
9:49
Edward said on The Interesting Lawyer's podcast episode, an interview
9:54
that had largely flown under the radar. Edward said that
9:58
in those cases his clients want it to move on
10:01
rather than file a public lawsuit. I'm not a big
10:03
fan of confidentiality, but it serves a purpose in a
10:06
certain circumstance, and this was the right circumstance, he said
10:10
on the podcast. Look, it's easy for all of us
10:12
to say what other people should do, but until you're
10:15
in that position, I don't think we really have a
10:19
leg to stand on because we don't know. We don't
10:23
know the trauma that people have went through, we don't
10:25
know the financial burden that has been placed upon people.
10:29
So when people are signing these NDAs and they get
10:31
paid out, I kind of understand why. Right now, the
10:35
selfish part of me, the part that wants justice no
10:39
matter what, hates that kind of shit because it keeps
10:44
everything private. We never get to discovery, we never get
10:47
to trial, we never get to a point where we
10:49
really know what's going on. So I've never been a
10:52
big fan of confidentiality agreements. Maxwell argued in our court
10:59
filing that these men could equally be considered as co
11:02
conspirators and that she was denied a fair trial because
11:05
she would have called those men as witnesses had she
11:07
known about the settlements. Bullshit. You played a logistical part,
11:12
Glenn Maxwell. Not only were you taking part in the abuse,
11:16
you were part of the enterprise. You had a leadership role.
11:21
And that's another Rico predicate. By the way, in an
11:26
interview with Business Insider, Edwards declined to answer questions about
11:29
confidential settlements between his clients and Epstein's friends. He said
11:33
that in general, Epstein had lent out about fifty girls
11:37
and women to about thirty men from the nineties until
11:40
his second arrest in twenty nineteen. And that sounds about
11:44
right now. I've told you for a long time not
11:46
to buy into the bullshit that Jeffrey Epstein was like
11:50
Heidi Flice. That wasn't what he was doing when he
11:53
was providing women or girls. There was a purpose. He
11:56
was trying to gain some inroads, whether in grace, heating himself,
12:01
or trying to get some blackmail, some compromant, whatever it
12:04
might be. Everything was transactional. And if you think Jeffrey
12:07
Epstein was selling some trim to make some money. You're crazy,
12:12
That's not what it was about. The money was coming
12:14
from all of the stealing, you know, laundering money, tax evasion,
12:19
the whole thing. He wasn't banking dough by running girls.
12:25
That's not what this dude was. That was just an
12:28
aspect of it, right. That was just one of the
12:31
many chambers, the most disturbing chamber, but one of many.
12:36
And if you look at Jeffrey Epstein in his operation
12:39
through just that lens, you're not going to understand the
12:41
full scope of what's going on here. And I think
12:44
too many people get caught up in this portion of it.
12:47
And again, look, I get it. It is the most
12:50
disturbing part, and it's the part where justice is most deserved.
12:55
But I'll tell you what, Take what's deserved and put
12:58
it in one hand and shit in the other, and
13:00
see what you have more of In the end. We
13:03
have to be realists, right. It's great to think that
13:07
the whole entire house of cards is going to come
13:09
tumbling down and everybody's going to be exposed, but that's
13:13
not reality. Unfortunately, reality is a lot more mundane, a
13:18
lot more boring, and that's because the money trail doesn't lie.
13:23
There's no salacious stories, there's no side quest. The money
13:27
trail is the money trail, and that's why they've been
13:30
so reticent to follow it because they know that. Well,
13:34
you think the federal government, of all people, doesn't know
13:36
that they need to follow the dough Oh, they know.
13:40
Some of the men were with multiple of Epstein victims
13:43
and some were only with one, he told Business Insider.
13:47
Epstein killed himself in jail in twenty nineteen while awaiting
13:51
trial on sex trafficking charges. Well, well, I guess Jacob
13:55
shamsy And has figured it out, and in his next
13:59
article he's going to tell you how he doesn't trust
14:01
the Trumpet administration and the government, but in this instance,
14:04
the government's telling the truth. These people can't have it
14:07
both ways. Either the government's bullshitting you or they're not. Okay,
14:12
it doesn't matter which political parties in charge, both sides
14:16
are going to do everything they can to protect the institutions.
14:22
His death made more urgent the questions of who else
14:24
could be held accountable for his crimes. Seven years later,
14:28
Maxwell is the only other person in Epstein's sex trafficking
14:31
operation charged by the Justice Department. Well, he calls it
14:34
a trafficking operation, where's the proof of that. You have
14:38
no proof of that, just like you have no proof
14:42
that Jeffrey Epstein killed himself in jail, unless, of course
14:46
you're going off of what Nicholas Tartaglioni told you. And
14:51
if you believe that, well, maybe, just maybe you think
14:55
that Holden Caulfield is a reliable narrator in Ketcher and
14:58
the Rye. After Epstein's death, the Justice Department examined who
15:04
else in his orbit may have participated in his sex
15:07
trafficking operation. The Epstein files show that the FBI identified
15:12
several potential co conspirators. Aside from Maxwell, most of the
15:16
other people identified in internal FBI documents as potential co
15:21
conspirators were also victims, girls or young women who brought
15:25
others to Epstein. Except for a model recruiting agent, Jean
15:29
Luke Burnaul, whom French authorities charged with rape and who
15:32
killed himself in jail before trial, no other men in
15:36
Epstein's vast network have faced criminal charges for sex crimes.
15:41
When the Justice Department re examined the Epstein investigation last year,
15:45
it concluded there was in sufficient evidence to investigate uncharged
15:49
third parties. Well, that turned out to be a lie,
15:53
because two people have already been referred to the Justice
15:56
Department for investigation. Epstein frequently kept women and girls around them,
16:04
hiring them as assistants and messuses. He offered them financial benefits,
16:08
job opportunities, and other ways to advance their education as
16:12
part of a grooming process. According to records released by
16:15
the Justice Department and testimony from his accusers, he sometimes
16:20
introduced them to his friends, and those friends sometimes sexually
16:23
abuse them. Women have alleged in lawsuits, depositions, and interviews
16:27
with prosecutors, according to court filings and records released by
16:31
the Justice Department. And it's been the same story for years.
16:35
How many people have come out and told us the
16:37
same thing time and time again. And keep in mind,
16:40
the same people want you to move on. I wonder why.
16:46
Edwards and another person familiar with settlements between Epstein's friends
16:49
and accusers both said that Epstein would send his victims
16:52
to friends after the women had been in his orbit
16:56
for a long time. Had to trust them, had to
16:59
make sure that they knew their role right. And that's
17:03
what Jeffrey Epstein was doing. He groomed these girls and
17:06
then he'd send them to have, you know, sexual encounters
17:09
with these guys, to be abused by these guys. And
17:14
if they were underage, then Jeffrey Epstein had a hook
17:17
right away. And not only that, he would have the
17:20
girls report back anything they might have heard. And then
17:23
you add the cameras to it, and well, you see
17:26
what's going on here. This is a classic honeypot operation.
17:30
That's what Epstein was up to when we're talking about
17:33
this portion of it. Believe me, he wasn't out here
17:35
selling girls. Bro wasn't down on the blade having girls
17:39
walk the track. He lent out these women to people
17:43
influential in the world economy and celebrities. One of the
17:46
people familiar with the settlement said some of the relationships
17:50
were consensual. Edward said in the podcast interview, there's no
17:53
doubt that's somewhere one hundred percent. Jeffrey Epstein liked the
17:57
muddy the waters and do you like to keep things confusing.
18:02
Edwards said that in some cases clients told them, look,
18:05
I have a relationship with this now very famous or
18:08
very powerful person, and it's very good. I could call
18:11
them on my cell phone right now. He never mistreated me.
18:14
He didn't know what was going on. Some misconduct accusations
18:18
against Epstein associates have played out in public, and several
18:22
have reached large public settlements or resolutions. One Epstein victim,
18:26
Virginia Roberts, filed a lawsuit against then Prince Andrew in
18:29
twenty twenty one and Alan Dershowitz in twenty nineteen, alleging
18:34
that Epstein directed her to have sex with both men.
18:38
Both men denied the allegations and later settled the suits.
18:42
As part of his settlement, the British Royal agreed to
18:45
make a substantial donation to Robert's charity and recognized her
18:49
as an established victim of abuse, without personally admitting wrongdoing.
18:54
In Dershowitz case, both parties said the resolution didn't involve
18:57
any payments, and Robert said she may have had made
19:00
a mistake in identifying them. And I've told you from
19:03
the beginning, I think Virginia was just fatigued. I think
19:07
she had had enough at that point. Wasn't like anything
19:11
was going to happen. Wasn't like anybody cared back then.
19:14
I know a lot of people don't want to hear it,
19:15
but a lot of people didn't give a fuck. A
19:18
lot of people out here now causing havoc, raising a
19:20
bunch of chaos, yelling and screaming, where were you at
19:25
in twenty nineteen. The truth is a lot of people
19:28
that are interested in this case now didn't care back then,
19:32
and nobody can say this information wasn't out there. It was.
19:35
The problem is the legacy media misled you. They had
19:41
you thinking that this was some vast right wing conspiracy,
19:44
and because of that, we lost very important time. We
19:48
could have really made some inroads. If we had all
19:50
the people that care about this now caring about it
19:52
back then, there would have been a lot more arrests
19:55
and things would have been a lot different. But too
19:58
many people were too busy following along with salacious bullshit
20:03
that they wanted to be true, even though they knew
20:06
that there was no evidence to back it up. And look,
20:10
it's not about what you know, it's about what you
20:12
can prove, and when you're dealing with very powerful people,
20:15
you have to enter every door that's left open. In
20:21
court filings, media interviews, and a memoir written before her
20:24
death last year, Roberts named other friends of Epstein with
20:27
whom she had sex during the time Epstein sexually abused her.
20:31
She did not sue those men. She should have, but
20:34
unfortunately Virginia knew that the deck was stacked against her.
20:39
Always was, always will be. Edwards, who represented Roberts, said
20:44
her allegations weren't unique. Her experiences in terms of Epstein
20:48
sending people out to a select group of friends were
20:52
actually more typical than I think any of us realized.
20:54
In two thousand and nine when Virginia first said it,
20:58
Edwards told Business Inside her. Edwards has also represented a
21:02
model in a lawsuit against the psychiatrist and investor Henry Jureki.
21:07
The woman who used a Jane Do pseudonym alleged that
21:10
she was abused by Epstein and that Epstein introduced her
21:13
to Jireki, who raped her and treated her as his
21:15
modern day slave. Jareki denied the allegations. The woman withdrew
21:20
the lawsuit ten months later. In statements at the time,
21:23
she said she believed Dureki did not mean me any harm,
21:27
and Jereki said he never engaged in any abusive conduct
21:30
with a complainant or any other person. Doctor Jereki has
21:34
for some time been suffering from advanced dementia and is
21:37
non communicative. A spokesperson for his business office, Falconwood Corporation
21:42
told Business Insider, prior to the onset of his illness,
21:46
doctor Jureki privately expressed deep regret over any association with
21:51
Jeffrey Epstein. Leon Black, the former CEO of Apollo Global Management,
21:57
paid sixty two and a half million dollars to the
21:59
US Virgin Ida as part of a January twenty twenty
22:02
three settlement to resolve the government's legal claims related to
22:06
Jeffrey Epstein, whether known or unknown. Now, why would you
22:10
do that? If you're innocent? Don't you fight that? I
22:14
know I would. Records released by the Justice Department show
22:20
that following Epstein's death, federal and local prosecutors in Manhattan
22:24
examined sexual assault allegations against Black, who sent Epstein more
22:28
than one hundred and fifty million for what Black has
22:31
said was tax advice. Neither office brought criminal charges against Black,
22:36
who was denied wrongdoing related to Epstein. So we're talking
22:40
about what a quarter billion dollars in total that Leon
22:44
Black is ponied up due to Epstein. But sure he
22:47
has nothing to hide. Give me a break, dude. Come on,
22:50
two hundred and fifty million dollars. That is an eye
22:53
popping amount of money, even for a guy like Leon Black.
22:57
Other allegations against Epstein associates have become public through interviews
23:01
already conducted by the House Oversight Committee. Sarah Kellen a
23:05
client of Edwards. That's crazy to even say. Remember all
23:10
the stuff Brad Edwards had to say about Sarah Kellen
23:12
for all these years, but now she's a client. I
23:16
guess the payday is a pay day, and said that
23:21
Epstein abused her for years. Told the committee in May
23:24
that Philip Levine, who later became mayor of Miami Beach,
23:27
sexually assaulted her while she was on a trip with Epstein.
23:31
And she said Frederick Fokai, the celebrity hairstylist, sexually assaulted
23:35
her before he introduced her to Epstein. And now both
23:38
of them have been referred to the Justice Department. So
23:40
I wonder what's going to come of that. Committee Chair
23:44
Representative James Comer asked the Justice Department in June to
23:47
investigate Kellen's allegations against Levin and for Kai. Chris Lasto,
23:52
a spokesperson for Levine, told Business Insider that the intimate
23:56
encounter with Kellen was consensual and her allegations of miss
24:00
conduct are false. Mark Heerr, a spokesperson for FOCAI, previously
24:05
set our allegations were categorically false and that FORCAI wasn't
24:09
aware of Epstein sex trafficking. So it's going to be
24:12
interesting to see what happens here. I wonder what Justice does.
24:16
Are they going to go against the grain and actually
24:19
do their job or are they going to stick with
24:22
the narrative that there's nothing left to see here and
24:24
there's nobody to prosecute. A Justice Department spokesperson told Business
24:29
Insider that prosecutors previously determined that there was no prosecutable
24:34
case after interviewing Kellen. The DOJ would reevaluate if the
24:38
committee sent a formal criminal referral with additional evidence of
24:41
any federal crime. The spokesperson said, how much more evidence
24:45
do you need? Like, for real, why don't you just
24:49
go to the DOJ archive the vault there and dig
24:52
around a little bit with subpoenas. The House Oversight Committee
24:56
could force people with NDAs to answer questions, said David Ropoulo,
25:01
a former top lawyer on the committee. Lauren Hirsch, the
25:04
CEO of World Without Exploitation, an organization that is advocated
25:09
on behalf of Epstein's victims before Congress, said that the
25:12
Committee should use subpoenas to pierce any confidentiality agreements and
25:17
ensure that those who cause devastating harm are held accountable. Well,
25:21
what do you know, wouldn't that be nice? But instead
25:24
let's have him come in for a voluntary chat. Did
25:27
you guys give him some tea, maybe a foot rub?
25:30
What a fucking joke. Epstein acquaintance is expected to speak
25:35
to the committee in coming weeks, including Black, Dershwitz, and
25:39
former Barclay's CEO Just Daly, would appear for transcribed interviews,
25:43
not subpoena depositions. As a result, they can legally decline
25:47
to answer questions, said Ropoulo. The terms in scope of
25:50
transcribed interviews are often negotiated between lawyers for the interview
25:55
subject and the committee's majority party, Ropaulo said, translate the
26:00
fix is in. Dershowitz told Business Insider he plans to
26:05
answer every question and welcomes the subpoena. A representative for
26:09
a Black decline to comment. Attorneys for Staley didn't respond.
26:14
The committee could also issue friendly subpoenas to Epstein's accusers,
26:18
much like Congress routinely uses to protect corporate whistleblowers who
26:22
have NDAs. In that case, the committee would likely need
26:25
the cooperation of the victim. A spokesperson for House Oversight
26:30
Democrats said the committee will let victims decide whether to
26:33
appear before the committee. Edwards, the attorney representing Epstein's accusers,
26:38
said that the vast majority of victims want to move
26:40
on with their lives because of the media frenzy around
26:43
the Epstein story. Look, I get it, I'd want to
26:48
move on too, but I remember a time when Brad
26:53
Edwards was begging for this kind of coverage. What's changed?
26:59
What is chane with mister Brad Edwards and what are
27:02
his motivations? Because the only way this story is ever
27:08
going to really break is if people know what's up.
27:12
And I thought that was the entire goal, but maybe
27:16
it's not anymore. For Brad Edwards. Dude had his payday, right,
27:20
all these lawyers got a fat bag, He pointed to
27:24
the ongoing British media interest following a BBC interview in
27:28
January in which Edwards alleged that one of his clients,
27:31
when she was a young woman, was sent by Epstein
27:33
to spend the night with then Prince Andrew at his residence,
27:36
Royal Lodge, and was given a tour of Buckingham Palace.
27:40
Representatives for Andrew Mantbatten Windsor didn't respond to Business Insider's
27:44
request for comment. The prime example is Prince Andrew Madness.
27:49
Edwards said there were victims that would have cooperated not
27:53
only civilly but criminally, and they want nothing to do
27:56
with it anymore because the British press calls me them. Ever, well,
28:01
what did you expect, man, That's what happens if you
28:04
come forward in a case like this, You're gonna make
28:06
an allegation against Prince Andrew and then think nobody is
28:10
gonna recover it, or report it or be on it.
28:13
In the words of Taiwan Lanister Madness Rank Madness, and
28:17
I would contend that the more interests the better. Now,
28:21
of course that means there's going to be crazy people
28:23
out there that try and contact people that are part
28:25
of the story. But I think that the only way
28:30
to get to the bottom of what happened and who
28:32
was involved is if we expose it all. But here's
28:35
the truth. If the people who were harmed don't want
28:39
the story to go any further and they don't want
28:41
to talk about it, then that's up to them. Nobody
28:44
can compel them to do so. Remember, they're the ones
28:48
that have to deal with the repercussions. They're the ones
28:50
that have to continue to live their life. They're the
28:52
ones that have to deal with whatever kind of blowback comes.
28:56
So I completely understand. But at the same time, the
29:01
only way that we're ever gonna hold anybody accountable is
29:05
if people are pointing fingers and there are actual people
29:08
to investigate. Right. So, what I'm getting from Brad Edwards
29:11
here is kind of concerning. Is he saying that he
29:15
wants to move on to now? Is that what he's
29:17
basically saying, Oh, well, the media frenzies too much. It's
29:22
time to just, you know, move on, not talk about
29:26
it anymore, Cess Levie. Is that what he's saying, Because
29:31
I'll tell you what my answer to him is the
29:33
same one I have to the Trump Justice Department. Get stuffed.
29:37
We're not moving on. We want answers, Oni, And if
29:42
you become an impediment, then you're part of the problem.
29:47
I know you're out here trying to get that bag,
29:48
you know, defending Sarah Kellen Vickers and shit. But this
29:52
whole like switch that we see with Brad Edwards as
29:54
of late is pretty concerning, and I wonder what the
29:58
motivation is because my man's tune has certainly changed. So
30:02
I'm pretty curious to see what the strategy is going
30:05
to be moving forward for Brad Edwards and his clients,
30:09
and like usual, will be here every step of the
30:11
way as it all goes down. All of the information
