- 1:16Speaker 5: Cheers and jeers.
- 1:17Speaker 7: Got some of the trending news headlines for you birthday's
- 1:20Speaker 7: port of birthday, those were all coming up this hour
- 1:22Speaker 7: here on The Woody Show. Let's see I got this year. Greg,
- 1:28Speaker 7: You're not gonna like this. The CEO now, this is
- 1:31Speaker 7: Ryan Air. This is that low cost Irish airline.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but the guys is pretty damn funny though.
- 1:37Speaker 7: Now the guy who's the CEO, he wants to see
- 1:40Speaker 7: airport's ban uh the places in the airport from serving alcohol.
- 1:46Speaker 5: In the morning.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Like, so the early morning is a safe place where
- 1:51Speaker 1: you can get booze at all times.
- 1:52Speaker 7: Thank you, So early morning booze service he wants banned, well,
- 1:56Speaker 7: f you. He has called out the drunken passengers for
- 1:59Speaker 7: the reason that at least one flight per day has
- 2:02Speaker 7: to be diverted.
- 2:03Speaker 8: Well, yeah, there's video because it's a lot of like
- 2:07Speaker 8: you irishmen going down to a visa.
- 2:08Speaker 7: And because of that, he says bars and airport should
- 2:12Speaker 7: be subjected to the same licensing rules as ones that
- 2:15Speaker 7: don't sit behind a security checkpoint.
- 2:16Speaker 8: Why why would morning drinks have anything? I think after
- 2:19Speaker 8: needing drinks, people have already been building up pregaming.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Yeah, what's the time of day?
- 2:23Speaker 5: I think morning be safest.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Actually his name is Michael O'Leary, the same dude that
- 2:27Speaker 1: wanted to charge to use the bathroom on board. And
- 2:31Speaker 1: he's like, yeah, I did say that, and I think that. Yeah.
- 2:34Speaker 7: He says he can't comprehend why anyone at airport bars
- 2:37Speaker 7: is serving people at five or six in the morning.
- 2:39Speaker 7: Don't worry about it, dude, he says, here needs to
- 2:42Speaker 7: be drinking a beer at that time.
- 2:44Speaker 5: You know where they learn from?
- 2:45Speaker 1: He said, who needs to Yeah, it's not about need.
- 2:48Speaker 1: You don't question somebody's rights by questioning their need.
- 2:52Speaker 7: He said no booze would be served at airports outside
- 2:54Speaker 7: licensing hours, and he recommends that using a boarding pass
- 2:58Speaker 7: is a form of ID check that could limit passengers
- 3:01Speaker 7: to just two drinks per Yeah, at the airport because.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Some people ruin it take away everybody else.
- 3:06Speaker 5: So that's usually the way it goes though.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and I don't support any example like that Sea
- 3:10Speaker 1: brings up, but Viza, there's no one's drinking in the
- 3:13Speaker 1: morning and a viza like everybody's.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Laid out like its dead bodies.
- 3:16Speaker 7: Well that's the way too.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Oh the ways.
- 3:22Speaker 7: Yeah, speaking of planes getting diverted, there was a Southwest
- 3:26Speaker 7: flight and it got diverted and then delayed, actually not diverted,
- 3:31Speaker 7: it was delayed for over an hour. There was a humanoid.
- 3:34Speaker 5: Robot b bop.
- 3:36Speaker 7: Yeah, four foot fall, four foot tall, seventy pound robot
- 3:38Speaker 7: that boarded the plane as a passenger.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Okay, what is that? Yeah, are really cute.
- 3:47Speaker 7: That's the ones that love And there was an actual
- 3:49Speaker 7: ticket purchase for it. Now, the issue apparently came down
- 3:52Speaker 7: to the fact that the ticket b Bop was assigned
- 3:56Speaker 7: was for an aisle seat, which violates Southwest you know
- 3:58Speaker 7: the large carry on policy, and it it wasn't as
- 4:01Speaker 7: simple as just moving b bop to a window seat
- 4:04Speaker 7: because the robot's handler. I was then asked about the
- 4:08Speaker 7: batteries that power lithum. I am not carry on, I
- 4:12Speaker 7: am I am human. Those lithium batteries were larger than
- 4:15Speaker 7: what's allowed. Was it like one hundred what is it?
- 4:18Speaker 7: Menace that it's like and it has to be all
- 4:19Speaker 7: like visible now to like it's one hundred watt or
- 4:25Speaker 7: something like that. So these lithium batteries, they were larger
- 4:28Speaker 7: than what's allowed and they had to be removed and
- 4:30Speaker 7: then from there the flight was able to take off.
- 4:32Speaker 7: That delayed because of like a robot on board, Like
- 4:35Speaker 7: guess you check all those parameters when you're going through.
- 4:39Speaker 7: But I'd be so annoyed if my flight's delayed because
- 4:43Speaker 7: some dickhead has their robots for everyone.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Is the one that you can buy You can buy
- 4:48Speaker 4: that thing on Walmart really dot com for eight grand.
- 4:52Speaker 7: Is that the one that has the head that kind
- 4:53Speaker 7: of looks like it's a like an Amazon speaker.
- 4:57Speaker 1: It's very humanoid.
- 4:58Speaker 4: It just dances around, doesn't actually doing anything. You can't
- 5:01Speaker 4: like go make a coffee.
- 5:02Speaker 8: These are the ones that I see guys that started
- 5:05Speaker 8: to take these out to like Times Square and.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Take your picture with them walking. It's basically a toy.
- 5:10Speaker 5: Yeah cool, where's your your your robot? Andrew?
- 5:15Speaker 4: I'm not famous enough, like Andrew Schultz already has it.
- 5:17Speaker 7: But it's supposed to be this year, right, But then
- 5:20Speaker 7: they give you like a time frame. No, just sometime
- 5:23Speaker 7: this year, just sometime this year. And dude, and they
- 5:26Speaker 7: got all your money up front.
- 5:27Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, just And as I say, this
- 5:30Speaker 4: sounds like one of those uh as with the kickstarters
- 5:33Speaker 4: that I was wondering. Comedian Andrew Schultz again, he already
- 5:36Speaker 4: has one, the same one that I ordered, And it's
- 5:38Speaker 4: like getting his z in forum and stuff and doing
- 5:43Speaker 4: all kinds of cool stuffs show.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Oh Greg, you're not gonna like this?
- 5:51Speaker 8: Oh no?
- 5:51Speaker 1: Why?
- 5:53Speaker 7: Uh so? Jerry Seinfeld, he says that Friends one of
- 5:58Speaker 7: your favorite shows of all time. See if if everybody
- 6:01Speaker 7: else agrees or disagrees with this, he says it Friends
- 6:05Speaker 7: is just Seinfeld with better looking people.
- 6:09Speaker 1: No, I disagree, and it's not because I'm biased by
- 6:12Speaker 1: any means. But I think Friends had recurring plots, It
- 6:16Speaker 1: had recurring themes, that had character arcs and whatnot. Seinfeld
- 6:20Speaker 1: to me is as Seinfeld did, Well, it's more you
- 6:23Speaker 1: could watch like an episode here and there and still
- 6:25Speaker 1: get the gist of it.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Yeah, and Seinfeld himself said, it's a show about nothing.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah, Friends, like season eight might have a callback to
- 6:32Speaker 1: season two and you're like, oh, look how that changed
- 6:34Speaker 1: or what the.
- 6:35Speaker 8: Seinfeld had Seinfeld that not a lot a tad here
- 6:38Speaker 8: and there with George's wife or fiance, Susan, but that
- 6:42Speaker 8: was that was rare and and to be to add
- 6:44Speaker 8: on to that, I would say, yes, of course Friends
- 6:46Speaker 8: was better looking. It was also a way happier and
- 6:49Speaker 8: less funny.
- 6:52Speaker 5: I'm surprised Seinfeld would put those in the same category sitcoms.
- 6:56Speaker 1: It comes to sitcoms, though, everybody wants to compare Friends
- 7:00Speaker 1: and Seinfeld.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Why because they were at the height of their powers
- 7:04Speaker 5: at the same time.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Totally, it's two separate entities.
- 7:07Speaker 5: Yeah, everyone knows that.
- 7:09Speaker 4: It's just a fact that Friends was a ripoff of
- 7:12Speaker 4: the Living Single, which was hugely popular the year before. Yeah,
- 7:17Speaker 4: and then they made Friends sitcom formulas or kind of.
- 7:20Speaker 8: Ripped, Right, they've had Friends like that, they've had you know, throut,
- 7:23Speaker 8: but this company at its height.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Living Single came out in nineteen ninety three and it
- 7:29Speaker 4: was like one of the number one shows on television.
- 7:32Speaker 4: And then so they decide, oh, let's make a similar show.
- 7:35Speaker 4: And then they came up with Friends, which came out
- 7:37Speaker 4: in nineteen ninety four.
- 7:38Speaker 9: Right, because Living Single was with a mostly black cast
- 7:41Speaker 9: and they were saying they didn't get enough marketing and
- 7:43Speaker 9: stuff like that, they did the same thing with Friends,
- 7:46Speaker 9: but they gave it so much marketing for everyone that
- 7:48Speaker 9: know about it and watch it. But I will say
- 7:50Speaker 9: about Seinfeld and Friends, they're written in similar ways in
- 7:54Speaker 9: that they both have a lot of points in the
- 7:58Speaker 9: show that don't move the plot forward, so they have
- 8:01Speaker 9: conversations that are just conversations that are moving the plot forward.
- 8:04Speaker 5: Kind of like this show true.
- 8:09Speaker 8: Uh.
- 8:09Speaker 7: Forty eight year old Jamie Presley from My Name Is
- 8:12Speaker 7: Earl is the latest to join only Fans.
- 8:15Speaker 5: She saw that bank Shannon Elizabeth May no kidding million
- 8:19Speaker 5: in a when she.
- 8:19Speaker 7: Says it allows her to quote create what I want,
- 8:21Speaker 7: how I want, and share it directly with the people
- 8:23Speaker 7: who have supported me for years.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Oh okay, why are we taking these angles?
- 8:27Speaker 7: Where are all these guys, famous dudes signing up to be.
- 8:30Speaker 1: On Only Fans?
- 8:31Speaker 7: Why is it only the female celebrities.
- 8:33Speaker 5: That are doing Yeah, where's George Clooney? Right?
- 8:35Speaker 8: But and again we've I've taught, we tried to, We
- 8:37Speaker 8: keep asking and we keep not get finding an answer.
- 8:39Speaker 8: Who is paying for this? Who's paying for Shannon Elizabeth
- 8:42Speaker 8: Only Fans where she's not naked?
- 8:43Speaker 1: It's don just like you do it once? Check it
- 8:46Speaker 1: out and you're not a repeat?
- 8:48Speaker 5: Where's twenty dollars for me to see Jamie Presley in
- 8:50Speaker 5: a launchery?
- 8:51Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 8:51Speaker 7: Now, let me ask you a question. If Ella Langley
- 8:54Speaker 7: was on Only Fans, you'd sign up for it, right,
- 8:56Speaker 7: whether she was naked or not?
- 8:58Speaker 5: Bretty? Yeah, yeah, you're a that's you. You know what
- 9:01Speaker 5: they call menace?
- 9:01Speaker 7: Because menace is crushing hard on Ella Langley?
- 9:04Speaker 5: She rules. You know what they called dudes like menace?
- 9:07Speaker 5: Ella's fellas? Oh yeah, it's.
- 9:09Speaker 7: A thing online.
- 9:10Speaker 5: There's Ella Fella.
- 9:11Speaker 1: There's sure.
- 9:13Speaker 7: There are all these women who are sharing how the
- 9:16Speaker 7: dudes of their life have been crushing.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Hard on Ella Langley.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Well, she reminds me a lot of Casey musk Graves.
- 9:22Speaker 8: What say we now have a menace type. It is
- 9:25Speaker 8: dark brown hair, long, late thirties, early forties.
- 9:28Speaker 5: And Craig you picture and you tell me that's not
- 9:31Speaker 5: Marie Osmond.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Well she's yeah, twenty seven, I believe. Yeah.
- 9:35Speaker 4: But Ella Langley also says that she was inspired by
- 9:38Speaker 4: Casey musk Graves as well, so like, yeah, I stole
- 9:41Speaker 4: her personality coincides with each other. Yeah, but you can
- 9:46Speaker 4: agree she rules, right.
- 9:48Speaker 10: She does.
- 9:48Speaker 5: She's the best. She looks at this picture like she
- 9:50Speaker 5: could be your album right now.
- 9:52Speaker 7: She looks that she could be related to Morgan, doesn't
- 9:55Speaker 7: yeah like this in this in this one photo trying to.
- 9:58Speaker 8: Get okay yeah, because it's like it's shout from like
- 10:01Speaker 8: up her face, so there knows that's big.
- 10:02Speaker 5: I guess, Okay, yeah she.
- 10:04Speaker 7: Has That's not That's not what I was saying. I'm
- 10:08Speaker 7: saying like, like I could see I just I wouldn't
- 10:11Speaker 7: able to pick her out of the line. I've heard
- 10:12Speaker 7: the name be so I want to go, look what
- 10:14Speaker 7: you looked like. The first picture that came up was
- 10:16Speaker 7: this one she was on stage and what is that.
- 10:18Speaker 5: From the Wikipedia? Because they always make sure to pick
- 10:20Speaker 5: this is this is four. Check this picture out and
- 10:25Speaker 5: tell me I'm wrong about her being an Osmond. Oh yeah,
- 10:28Speaker 5: yeah she does.
- 10:29Speaker 1: All her photos are kind of retro looking.
- 10:31Speaker 9: Yeah, and she's really bringing the old school like country soundback.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Yeah, she said your casey must great.
- 10:38Speaker 11: Uh.
- 10:38Speaker 7: Now, Greg, here's something that you will most likely agree
- 10:41Speaker 7: with because you never really found Robin Williams funny.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I loved him as a dramatic actor. Okay.
- 10:48Speaker 7: Sally Field says that on the set of Missus Dollfire
- 10:51Speaker 7: and Menace, Ah, we can hear, we can try from
- 10:58Speaker 7: the top, Sally Field. He says that on the side
- 11:00Speaker 7: of Missus Dowfire, there she is. Robin Williams was constantly
- 11:05Speaker 7: making everybody laugh except for her. She didn't find what
- 11:09Speaker 7: he was doing funny and that drove him crazy.
- 11:15Speaker 8: Go back and watch any of his stand up and
- 11:17Speaker 8: it is it's it's cocaine. Well yeah, I mean he
- 11:20Speaker 8: is hard and old seventies is not comedy. It's just
- 11:23Speaker 8: I'm gonna talk really fast and make a bunch of right.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Was he crazy talented? Yes, but if you do look
- 11:29Speaker 1: back at like the Johnny Carson stuff, he's just talking quickly.
- 11:34Speaker 5: But when he does that with good writing, like in
- 11:36Speaker 5: Morning Vietnam or something, it's so much fun. But yeah,
- 11:38Speaker 5: watching the stand up is heard, are you saying that
- 11:40Speaker 5: he's a sebastion of his time?
- 11:42Speaker 8: Well, yeah, he's He had a trick he had He
- 11:45Speaker 8: had a stage presence that that tricked people into laughing
- 11:48Speaker 8: without saying it.
- 11:48Speaker 7: But I think he was just so damn likable, you
- 11:50Speaker 7: know what I mean, always like fun and.
- 11:52Speaker 10: Happy, crazy all right, menace, what you got?
- 12:02Speaker 5: What is help? What has happened with my voice?
- 12:08Speaker 6: What?
- 12:11Speaker 4: What's happening the Kelly Clarkson Like, So she's not weird?
- 12:17Speaker 5: No, she says, she's not doing what with Kelly Clarkson.
- 12:24Speaker 4: So she had her talk show and then she wanted
- 12:26Speaker 4: to move it to Texas and be around her family
- 12:30Speaker 4: and stuff like that, and they wouldn't move the production
- 12:32Speaker 4: over there Clas. Yeah, and then so she says, Okay,
- 12:35Speaker 4: I'm quitting the show and spend more time with my kids.
- 12:39Speaker 4: But guess what now she's a judge on the Voice again.
- 12:43Speaker 5: Well, because I backed up the brinstruck, they got daycare there.
- 12:46Speaker 7: That's also probably a lot less commitment, right percent, also
- 12:51Speaker 7: than a daily talk show and.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Why couldn't they move that to Texas. I don't know,
- 12:55Speaker 5: they should be. People liked it.
- 12:58Speaker 7: Nobody cares about that stuff anymore. It doesn't it doesn't matter.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Yeah, it's weird. She's also still doing a residency in
- 13:05Speaker 4: Vegas in July.
- 13:06Speaker 5: I really want to go that. I've always really liked
- 13:08Speaker 5: her voice because.
- 13:09Speaker 7: It used to be for these these shows, radio shows
- 13:12Speaker 7: and for television shows that were very guests heavy, like
- 13:16Speaker 7: relying on guests. You had to either be in New
- 13:18Speaker 7: York or LA because that's where all the celebrities were.
- 13:20Speaker 5: And now people live everywhere in Austin.
- 13:22Speaker 7: People have spread it, yeah, in Nashville and Texas to
- 13:25Speaker 7: all these different places.
- 13:26Speaker 4: And I don't know if they've seen a map. Texas
- 13:29Speaker 4: is centrally located, so in.
- 13:31Speaker 7: This central, yeah century in central, it's in this century,
- 13:34Speaker 7: yeah central.
- 13:35Speaker 5: It should be easy for them to get there. I
- 13:37Speaker 5: had a suspicion. I just looked it up.
- 13:39Speaker 8: Kelly Clarkson Show when it was on, take two episodes
- 13:41Speaker 8: a day, three days a week. My family, that's always
- 13:46Speaker 8: garbage exhaust Yeah, that's too much. When Tom Brady retired
- 13:49Speaker 8: to be with his family, that I retired, she had
- 13:50Speaker 8: to book.
- 13:51Speaker 1: The guests herself and do all the.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Crap your own hair, the writing.
- 13:56Speaker 7: Gena, grab what you got.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Well, the Golden Globes are officially gearing up for their
- 14:00Speaker 5: award shows, but they're also laying out the new rules
- 14:03Speaker 5: about how AI can be used for movies and TV
- 14:05Speaker 5: and podcasts, and how they're gonna, you know, give awards
- 14:07Speaker 5: up for stuff that has AI, because what are they
- 14:09Speaker 5: gonna do. They have to acknowledge it now. So here's
- 14:11Speaker 5: the new guidelines. Basically, projects that use AI can still
- 14:14Speaker 5: compete as long as humans are clearly the main creative
- 14:18Speaker 5: force behind the work. So the Globes say, so.
- 14:21Speaker 7: I did all the prompts.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Well, yeah, the AI tools can help support the production,
- 14:25Speaker 5: but they can't replace writers, directors, actors, and other credited artists.
- 14:29Speaker 5: And performances created mostly by AI won't qualify. So a
- 14:33Speaker 5: lot of that, like oh, and AI generated God the movie,
- 14:36Speaker 5: you just won't get the stupid award. Correct, and AI
- 14:38Speaker 5: generated copies of an actor's voice, that's also off limits.
- 14:42Speaker 5: It's federal to qualify you.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Yeah, that's fine, because but that's the thing that still exists.
- 14:46Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm just glad that they're acknowledging this well, and
- 14:49Speaker 5: people are being I know a lot of art artists
- 14:51Speaker 5: quote unquote, and you know writers, directors, actors who are
- 14:53Speaker 5: no AI whatsoever.
- 14:55Speaker 8: But it's just in a lot of cases better better computer.
- 14:58Speaker 8: Like I use it if I remember record stuff out
- 15:00Speaker 8: in the field and there's honks and stuff that I.
- 15:02Speaker 5: Don't want out, I use AI to take that out
- 15:04Speaker 5: and that deal.
- 15:05Speaker 8: And like I said, no one complained when they made
- 15:07Speaker 8: Toy Story when a computer made all those animations.
- 15:09Speaker 5: Yeah, what's up with that?
- 15:11Speaker 7: Yeah, bitch?
- 15:11Speaker 5: And then it's just telling you how to do it.
- 15:13Speaker 5: You know, we don't.
- 15:13Speaker 8: We don't require that everyone just drawing like snow white style.
- 15:16Speaker 8: Now we have easier computer.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Yeah, so they're just wait, wait lightights. Uh what did
- 15:21Speaker 5: you say? Ights?
- 15:22Speaker 1: Oh I think you said a lot of ads. That's
- 15:24Speaker 1: what I thought.
- 15:25Speaker 5: I heard this.
- 15:25Speaker 7: I heard the same thing. Have drugs for the way?
- 15:28Speaker 5: Somebody?
- 15:29Speaker 7: Uh, speaking of awards, you know we uh, we don't
- 15:32Speaker 7: get nominated a lot for this kind of stuff. Somebody
- 15:35Speaker 7: said that, uh we're being nominated for a Marconi Award.
- 15:39Speaker 5: I guess, okay, okay, yeah.
- 15:41Speaker 7: Here here's the thing. But this is what they need
- 15:43Speaker 7: from us, they need us to submit an audio piece
- 15:48Speaker 7: to go along with it, but like what it's okay,
- 15:52Speaker 7: So it needs to be between sixty and ninety seconds,
- 15:56Speaker 7: and it has to be from the twenty twenty five
- 16:00Speaker 7: under year.
- 16:01Speaker 8: Do you think we have no Sceio Morgan and Tyler
- 16:04Speaker 8: when we learned that it made out, Yeah boo done.
- 16:07Speaker 7: For a Marconi.
- 16:09Speaker 5: By the way, are they going to check?
- 16:10Speaker 7: No?
- 16:11Speaker 5: What I'm saying like for a Marconi that's.
- 16:13Speaker 7: Like a serious But that's a that's a serious radio award,
- 16:16Speaker 7: right that got legit one?
- 16:17Speaker 4: This is not that's a major major of radio. You
- 16:22Speaker 4: gotta send like Greg like crying about something.
- 16:24Speaker 7: I can't think of one thing that we've done.
- 16:29Speaker 5: Like ever that I think would be appropriate for second?
- 16:32Speaker 1: What they are they looking for? Them like like funny.
- 16:37Speaker 5: It's anything we want?
- 16:39Speaker 7: Oh here, it says anything that showcases the show, maybe
- 16:44Speaker 7: a funny moment with a listener or someone from the cast.
- 16:48Speaker 7: It could be a montage if you could squeeze it
- 16:50Speaker 7: into the ninety second limit.
- 16:53Speaker 5: Doesn't have any content.
- 16:54Speaker 8: They're not going to judge it based on this though.
- 16:56Speaker 8: This is just for the promo, like they've already made
- 16:57Speaker 8: up their mind that's okay.
- 16:59Speaker 7: That's that's the other thing.
- 17:04Speaker 12: I just say, Gregory report, Yeah right, all right, well
- 17:11Speaker 12: well well we'll get back to that way.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Everbody Sammy's webbing.
- 17:18Speaker 7: I mean, I don't know cart Narks. People seem to
- 17:20Speaker 7: you knowing it.
- 17:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know. It's the best, greg Gory, what
- 17:26Speaker 5: you got.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Well, I promise you this has nothing to do with
- 17:29Speaker 1: the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because I've never seen it.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I don't know the people on it. This is not
- 17:33Speaker 1: about the show. This is about the money. There's this couple,
- 17:36Speaker 1: maybe you know, a menace p K. M Kemsley and
- 17:40Speaker 1: his wife. All right, I never is okay, anyway, your
- 17:49Speaker 1: middle initial better be Oh they're going through a divorce, right,
- 17:53Speaker 1: So the husband p K says, over the past year,
- 17:56Speaker 1: the wife spent one million dollars on clothing and handbags.
- 18:02Speaker 1: How that's what cut my eye. I mean one year,
- 18:05Speaker 1: one million dollars.
- 18:06Speaker 5: I could do that easy.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Louis Vuitton Chanelle purse is about seventy grand. Each spent
- 18:10Speaker 1: thousands on her mens What those what are those bags?
- 18:13Speaker 5: A Birken bag?
- 18:14Speaker 1: The Birken bags is one thousand.
- 18:16Speaker 4: A basic bitch brick and bag is ten gees.
- 18:19Speaker 8: Let's say you only shop three hundredas a year. Could
- 18:21Speaker 8: you spend thirty five hundred bucks? You know, you buy
- 18:24Speaker 8: one bag of day? Yeah, I guess you could pair
- 18:26Speaker 8: of shoes day.
- 18:27Speaker 1: But meanwhile, she made zero payments on the mortgage and
- 18:30Speaker 1: they have a six million dollar mortgage Mega lane. On
- 18:33Speaker 1: mortgage payments, he still covers ninety percent of all her
- 18:37Speaker 1: household expenses. She's living in this other house with the kids.
- 18:40Speaker 5: Weird. I thought it would be in reverse.
- 18:41Speaker 1: He said. So he said, come live at this other
- 18:44Speaker 1: property that I have, and let's sell the house. We're
- 18:47Speaker 1: gonna probably lose it anyway. And she refused the offer. Wow,
- 18:51Speaker 1: So meanwhile she goes out and spends a million bucks
- 18:53Speaker 1: on stupid clothes and handbags. He's footing the bills and
- 18:57Speaker 1: he's the divorce is not finalized. How whipped are you?
- 19:00Speaker 1: You're like, yeah, I'll still put up with it, and
- 19:02Speaker 1: then offer to have her moved to a different property.
- 19:05Speaker 7: If she can spend that kind of money, imagine what
- 19:07Speaker 7: she would need to maintain her lifestyle.
- 19:09Speaker 5: Oh yeah, you know. So it's just mind boggle to.
- 19:15Speaker 4: Get a bricken where you're not shamed, like that's like
- 19:18Speaker 4: forty thousand times ten, that's already four hundred thousand dollars.
- 19:21Speaker 7: I hate when you see these celebrity couples that break up,
- 19:25Speaker 7: or you know there's an athlete or somebody who's going
- 19:28Speaker 7: through a breakup and they say, oh, I need one
- 19:30Speaker 7: hundred and ten thousand dollars a month in child support.
- 19:33Speaker 5: Yeah no you don't. How's my child going to.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Eat those peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? Yeah, we really
- 19:38Speaker 1: got in expressed.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Don't believe.
- 19:39Speaker 7: Yeah, like you don't need that. It's ridiculous, all right,
- 19:43Speaker 7: it's not for your birthdays and your porna birthday were shiver.
- 19:50Speaker 5: We won't sit because it's sh and you know you
- 19:53Speaker 5: don't do just a.
- 19:55Speaker 7: Couple of birthdays here. Really, Sabrina Carpenter is twenty seven
- 19:59Speaker 7: years old today.
- 20:00Speaker 11: Old.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:01Speaker 7: I somehow, unless we talked about it and I mind
- 20:03Speaker 7: erased it, I didn't know that she's the niece of
- 20:06Speaker 7: Nancy Cartner, who does Bart Simpsons.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:09Speaker 5: I said they're cousins, but yeah they're really is that?
- 20:12Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 20:12Speaker 5: I think so her aunt? Does this prove that she's
- 20:14Speaker 5: twenty seven?
- 20:15Speaker 8: And that girl the menace was just talking about twenty seven,
- 20:17Speaker 8: and the girl I talk about is obvious twenty is
- 20:19Speaker 8: twenty seven the hottest.
- 20:20Speaker 5: Age for a woman, as Leonardo DiCaprio, yet he place
- 20:23Speaker 5: not that old.
- 20:24Speaker 7: Yeah, Sabrina Carpenter's twenty seven. Today, you got Black China
- 20:29Speaker 7: who is thirty eight, told her Jeffrey Donovan is fifty eight,
- 20:34Speaker 7: and then you got your porn of birthday today. Who's
- 20:36Speaker 7: Kendris Spade in today's birthday girl? She has been banged
- 20:39Speaker 7: harder than a vending machine that's holding up someone's dollar,
- 20:42Speaker 7: or like it just gets caught on that little loopy.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Thing that's dangling.
- 20:45Speaker 7: Yeah, five hundred, same with her five hundred and twenty
- 20:49Speaker 7: fine films, including Butthole Whores Volume seven, What about. She
- 20:54Speaker 7: was in Squirts Squad Volume three, also Chassis Boys Lick Better.
- 21:00Speaker 7: She was engaping with my bestie. She was in Vagina Vendetta.
- 21:08Speaker 7: Kendra Spade gets the facial she craves. That was a
- 21:10Speaker 7: good one.
- 21:11Speaker 4: But really, who can forget her? Unforgettab role in the
- 21:13Speaker 4: Big Finger Bang Theory.
- 21:15Speaker 5: Oh that was hilarious. I love that.
- 21:18Speaker 7: That's a Kendra Spade who's twenty eight years old today
- 21:20Speaker 7: and that's your porn a birthday, your celebrity birthday is
- 21:22Speaker 7: and a little Monday look some of the stuff that's
- 21:24Speaker 7: happening in the world of entertainment for this year on
- 21:27Speaker 7: The Woody Show. The Woody Shows back.
- 21:32Speaker 4: So if you are thinking about going to the UFC
- 21:36Speaker 4: event on the front lawn of the White.
- 21:38Speaker 5: House Show, I don't thinking about it.
- 21:41Speaker 7: So there is reportedly an opportunity for a small number
- 21:45Speaker 7: of tickets to be purchased if you want to sit
- 21:48Speaker 7: on the lawn to check it out in person June fourteenth,
- 21:51Speaker 7: but they.
- 21:51Speaker 5: Won't be cheap. What's the damage.
- 21:55Speaker 7: So there are some sources saying a percentage of the
- 21:59Speaker 7: forty three hundred tickets will go to the President Trump,
- 22:03Speaker 7: possibly a third. Another percentage goes to Dana White and
- 22:06Speaker 7: t KO obviously, and then the military gets another chunk,
- 22:10Speaker 7: which we which we talked about. The remaining tickets will
- 22:13Speaker 7: be made available for a mere one point five million
- 22:17Speaker 7: dollars each. You're still thinking about it out four quote
- 22:21Speaker 7: influential people.
- 22:22Speaker 8: Yeah, because you got to figure it's gonna be There's
- 22:25Speaker 8: there's plenty people to they'll take that. The Zuck, the
- 22:28Speaker 8: yulon and so forth, and then they'll throw in the
- 22:29Speaker 8: military on top of that.
- 22:30Speaker 5: I have a stupid question if this is like on
- 22:33Speaker 5: government property. I don't know if that matters. Who gets
- 22:36Speaker 5: the money the government?
- 22:38Speaker 4: Do they?
- 22:38Speaker 9: Is it like a fundraiser for the government or like
- 22:40Speaker 9: where go after.
- 22:42Speaker 5: They have it? Yeah? Who you get?
- 22:44Speaker 4: I'm sure they'll throw it to That's why they're doing.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Like a chunk goes to the military, Like they're given
- 22:48Speaker 4: the tickets to human fund soldiers and stuff.
- 22:51Speaker 8: They'll they'll lease it to the UFC and then they'll
- 22:53Speaker 8: throw off a bunch two whoever.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I'm in the UFC portal right now, media
- 22:59Speaker 4: media portal, and yeah, you can't even request to go
- 23:03Speaker 4: in the media portale.
- 23:07Speaker 5: Gonna be there, Joe Rogan and you know rock.
- 23:12Speaker 7: Here. Uh trashy. It reminds me we got an email
- 23:17Speaker 7: stand by. I wanted to know what what Greg thought
- 23:21Speaker 7: on this hold on somebody wants Yeah, in fact, that's
- 23:27Speaker 7: the subject trashy or not? This from Patrick who sends
- 23:29Speaker 7: us an email email at the woodieshow dot com. So
- 23:32Speaker 7: I'm gonn going to watch Devilwaar's product too, sligh Greg
- 23:37Speaker 7: with my wife and niece.
- 23:41Speaker 5: That should be a yeah, why are you invited?
- 23:44Speaker 7: Patrick says, I think it's trashy to bring in blankets
- 23:47Speaker 7: to the movie theater. I think it's stupid that my
- 23:49Speaker 7: wife and niece do not. What do you guys think
- 23:51Speaker 7: if you bring a blanket to the movie. I would
- 23:53Speaker 7: not say trashy, I'd say very childish thought.
- 23:58Speaker 8: Women are always cold though, yeah, especially sitting in a dress.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Appro wear a jacket.
- 24:03Speaker 9: I always bring a hooey this because when you go
- 24:05Speaker 9: to the fancy movie theaters, they give you blanket.
- 24:08Speaker 5: They do. Yes, really luxury. My neighborhood never been to
- 24:13Speaker 5: a movie theater.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Where are you going to the movies? Dubai?
- 24:16Speaker 5: I've never been to that, but it's the Dubai twenty four.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Yeah, right.
- 24:19Speaker 9: When they serve you, they bring you alcohol, they bring
- 24:22Speaker 9: you candies in a little martini glass, and.
- 24:24Speaker 8: So really, yes, I've never fitness seat. I was gonna
- 24:29Speaker 8: ask Sammy how much does it cost? But I guess
- 24:31Speaker 8: I promise you she doesn't know.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, that's true.
- 24:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I just.
- 24:38Speaker 11: I pay for my ticket with what happens under the
- 24:44Speaker 11: blank It's called trade.
- 24:51Speaker 4: I will say this though, I wouldn't bring a blanket,
- 24:54Speaker 4: but I would like one.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Yeah, There is this one time Mario and I did
- 25:00Speaker 1: for an anniversary, was like this little boat harbor tour
- 25:04Speaker 1: thing and it was just the two of us and
- 25:06Speaker 1: then the couple that was driving the boat. They owned
- 25:08Speaker 1: the boat and they rent this out by the hour
- 25:10Speaker 1: or whatever, did a little one hour harbor boat ride
- 25:14Speaker 1: and they had a little basket thing that had blankets.
- 25:18Speaker 1: We're sitting there on the boat, Son's going down. I
- 25:21Speaker 1: got super cold, and I refused to use a blanket.
- 25:26Speaker 1: How girly of me to be sitting on a boat
- 25:29Speaker 1: with a blank with a wrap around your anniversary?
- 25:32Speaker 5: How dare you be comfortable?
- 25:34Speaker 1: I know, and in retrospect, I shouldn't have cared, but
- 25:36Speaker 1: I was not going to sit on the front of
- 25:38Speaker 1: a boat with a blanket.
- 25:39Speaker 5: Sammy, How cozy does that sound?
- 25:42Speaker 1: It would have been back.
- 25:44Speaker 8: To your original commentary on this gentleman here wife and
- 25:47Speaker 8: worried about blankets being trashy. I think we're all we
- 25:50Speaker 8: know where this is going, right?
- 25:51Speaker 7: Well, yeah, that's why you said, why Yeah, Devilwar's product
- 25:59Speaker 7: bringing your like, Send the wife, Send the wife and
- 26:03Speaker 7: the niece by themselves to Devil Wears product.
- 26:05Speaker 1: And then stay at home with your blanket or your
- 26:08Speaker 1: brosers taking a watching chick or something not trashy, it's childish.
- 26:16Speaker 7: I also heard about I want to check out this
- 26:18Speaker 7: this podcast. Somebody actually texted over to us about this.
- 26:22Speaker 7: Does anybody listened to the Are You Garbage? Podcast?
- 26:27Speaker 11: Oh?
- 26:27Speaker 8: Yeah, it's very popular amongst women, so it's probably a
- 26:29Speaker 8: menus thing.
- 26:31Speaker 7: So it's hosted by these these two dudes, and the
- 26:33Speaker 7: premises the host they interview comedians and celebrities to determine
- 26:37Speaker 7: if their habits, upbringing and lifestyle are classy or trashy.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's called are You Garbage?
- 26:43Speaker 7: Yeah, so common questions involved childhood stories, hotel, shampoo, theft,
- 26:48Speaker 7: eating habits, and etiquette. And then you they listen to
- 26:51Speaker 7: all this stuff and then they determine like, all right,
- 26:52Speaker 7: yeah you're kind of trash. Yeah your garbage.
- 26:55Speaker 5: That's kind of funny. I like the premise that I
- 26:57Speaker 5: check that out.
- 26:58Speaker 4: I was at that Giggly Squad podcast taping and then
- 27:03Speaker 4: they just like threw out topics like that out there,
- 27:06Speaker 4: like oh, what are your thoughts on this?
- 27:08Speaker 5: And it would just be like a random thing like scarf.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Totally, and then you they give them no, like it's
- 27:15Speaker 4: so context or anything.
- 27:16Speaker 1: How some of these podcast topics you think about for
- 27:19Speaker 1: like a week. One of them was how do you
- 27:21Speaker 1: dry off after a shower? And the guy's like, I
- 27:23Speaker 1: don't get your question. He's like, do you kind of
- 27:25Speaker 1: like wipe your body before you tel off? Or do
- 27:27Speaker 1: you shake your hair out before you dry off? And
- 27:29Speaker 1: there was this like twenty minute debate, and I thought,
- 27:32Speaker 1: I've been thinking about it ever since. Something topics I know,
- 27:35Speaker 1: and it was good. I was thinking of trash Tuesday.
- 27:37Speaker 1: That's the early one I was thinking of.
- 27:38Speaker 5: So okay, here's here's an episode.
- 27:41Speaker 7: It says a fat guy breakfast, so you know it
- 27:45Speaker 7: kind of like what we do for March fatness.
- 27:47Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, that might.
- 27:49Speaker 7: Be a good one to start with. Or are you garbage?
- 27:52Speaker 7: Are you garbage? It's very popular. Yeah, I'll check it out.
- 27:56Speaker 7: I heard about it again on the text. You can
- 27:58Speaker 7: send your text over to two two eight seven. Give
- 28:01Speaker 7: us a call eight seven seven forty four. Woodie, we'll
- 28:04Speaker 7: take a quick break. We'll come back. More Woody Shows next.
- 28:06Speaker 7: Hang on, more Woody Show show next.
- 28:10Speaker 1: At this point, why don't we just all liquidate our
- 28:12Speaker 1: bank account and take the money and put it.
- 28:14Speaker 10: In the fire.
- 28:16Speaker 7: I'm looking for real answers, no Woody show. And we
- 28:21Speaker 7: are into another new hour, beginning of a brand new week.
- 28:25Speaker 7: Yay Woody, Gregy minute, Hi Gina, Hi, phones open eight
- 28:31Speaker 7: seven seven forty four Woody text us over to two
- 28:35Speaker 7: to nine eight seven. I hope you had a great weekend.
- 28:39Speaker 7: As far as I'm concerned, this is the beginning of
- 28:41Speaker 7: the best time of the year. We get to this
- 28:44Speaker 7: point the Monday after Mother's Day and the hardcore seasons
- 28:50Speaker 7: of obligation are over for a good stretch.
- 28:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:54Speaker 7: For me, there are so many card giving occasions between
- 29:00Speaker 7: I would say middle of November until right now. It
- 29:04Speaker 7: feels like every other week, it's like, damn it, another thing.
- 29:07Speaker 5: I gotta damn it.
- 29:08Speaker 7: And because I get so far behind, and I have
- 29:10Speaker 7: the best intentions as we all know, well, I even
- 29:13Speaker 7: buy the Mother's Day cards. I bought a week in advance,
- 29:16Speaker 7: and I'm like, good, I'm gonna have the kids fill
- 29:18Speaker 7: these things out. I'm gonna get them in the mail
- 29:20Speaker 7: at a reasonable Time'll bil something to the regular mail.
- 29:24Speaker 7: And then of course on Friday afternoon, I was at FedEx.
- 29:28Speaker 5: Can you overnight this?
- 29:29Speaker 7: Yeah, I was at FedEx and had to overnight, you know,
- 29:33Speaker 7: the cards, which my mom loved, and she loves the cards.
- 29:36Speaker 7: She does love the cards, and so I'm happy to
- 29:38Speaker 7: do it for that. But man, it's just like there's
- 29:40Speaker 7: so many of those between Christmas, birthdays, Mother's Day, my
- 29:46Speaker 7: wife's birthdays in there. If you do a Valentine's thing,
- 29:48Speaker 7: my wife and I don't don't really do Valentine's so
- 29:50Speaker 7: I can't. I can't include that one. But there's so
- 29:54Speaker 7: many of those things in there. So now we get
- 29:55Speaker 7: to this point and it's from now until mid November.
- 29:58Speaker 7: There's not a lot of obligation. There's like one off
- 30:00Speaker 7: here or there, you know what I mean. But like
- 30:02Speaker 7: my dad's birthday, my dad doesn't care about cards. Probably
- 30:06Speaker 7: he would love to get home depot gift card all
- 30:08Speaker 7: set them up again, something like that. He loves to
- 30:10Speaker 7: do projects and stuff. It's to do things like but
- 30:12Speaker 7: the where you have to you know, really stop down.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Oh man, what's the favorite piece of advice you gave me?
- 30:18Speaker 1: Remember the harder, the truth to tell, the truer the
- 30:20Speaker 1: friend that tells it. So I'm gonna lay it on you.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Number one, You act like sending a card is scrubbing
- 30:26Speaker 1: toilets in a public bathroom. That it's like the worst
- 30:29Speaker 1: part of your year. And number two, I gave you
- 30:31Speaker 1: the solution, and it's it's kind of lame, it's kind
- 30:34Speaker 1: of girly. But you could do this. At the start
- 30:36Speaker 1: of each year, go out and buy a few Mother's
- 30:39Speaker 1: Day cards, a few Birthday cards, fill them out, address them,
- 30:42Speaker 1: stamp them, and then just set them aside. And then
- 30:45Speaker 1: a week before Mother's Day drop in the mailbox. Just
- 30:49Speaker 1: spend half an hour filling out these cards once a year,
- 30:52Speaker 1: say January fifth, and they're all ready to go.
- 30:55Speaker 5: And that's the end of it. It's half an hour.
- 30:58Speaker 5: That's not a bad That part's on the idea, but you.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Have the solution right in front of you.
- 31:03Speaker 7: The getting the card. It just no matter how it starts,
- 31:07Speaker 7: it always ends up the same way.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Where it's the.
- 31:09Speaker 7: Friday that's tradition, the day before and I'm there at
- 31:13Speaker 7: UPS or fed X, which ends up making spending a
- 31:16Speaker 7: billion dollars a dollar card, fifty dollars card because it
- 31:21Speaker 7: was for Saturday delivery. Oh it's the same Friday afternoon
- 31:26Speaker 7: Saturday delivery.
- 31:27Speaker 5: Oh my god, more than fifty bucks.
- 31:30Speaker 4: One and seventeen dollars crazy money, my god, one hundred
- 31:36Speaker 4: and seventeen dollars one hundred times too, times too because
- 31:41Speaker 4: I had to send one off to my mom and
- 31:43Speaker 4: the other one in my stepmom.
- 31:44Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I never thought that much.
- 31:47Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, try going, dude. What is a UPS store
- 31:50Speaker 7: by the way?
- 31:51Speaker 2: What?
- 31:51Speaker 1: I hate that place?
- 31:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it's bank.
- 31:54Speaker 7: You can get a much better deal going to uh
- 31:57Speaker 7: fed X. Just directly get one of those like FedEx stores,
- 32:01Speaker 7: those FedEx office. You get a much better deal there
- 32:03Speaker 7: than any UPS store. It's like quadruple.
- 32:08Speaker 5: Oh.
- 32:08Speaker 4: Remember when we were hanging out together and I was
- 32:11Speaker 4: going to go to another destination. So I was going
- 32:13Speaker 4: to mail my backpack to myself and it was like
- 32:16Speaker 4: to send it the next day was like six hundred bucks. Yeah,
- 32:19Speaker 4: it's I was like, no, what, I'll wait, I'm good.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Yeah, my god. It's like you're sending a cinder block,
- 32:26Speaker 1: You're sending a car. Ye.
- 32:27Speaker 7: And the thing that the getting the cards is not difficult, right,
- 32:31Speaker 7: It's it's because it.
- 32:32Speaker 1: When it's when it's thrown into talking about torture though.
- 32:35Speaker 7: But it's because it's when it's thrown into a super
- 32:38Speaker 7: busy schedule. You're like, and like, you ever get that
- 32:41Speaker 7: we have all these things to do. And then you're like,
- 32:43Speaker 7: you look up, it's four o'clock and damn it to
- 32:46Speaker 7: the day, and you have all these things you still
- 32:48Speaker 7: have to do. It's just that there's a NonStop list
- 32:51Speaker 7: of things that's got.
- 32:52Speaker 5: That it feels like you should be able to that though.
- 32:55Speaker 4: Hard, truth to tell. I mean, Greg gives you the
- 32:57Speaker 4: solution all the time.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And you throw it in the car.
- 33:00Speaker 5: They have Mother's Day cards in January. How do you
- 33:03Speaker 5: get those? That's a good point. Good point, But then
- 33:06Speaker 5: this year that's a good point.
- 33:07Speaker 7: Right around Mother's Day anyway, it's the most wonderful time
- 33:10Speaker 7: of the year, for years, the most wonderful time of
- 33:12Speaker 7: the year.
- 33:12Speaker 4: Amazon jeers to running. I was curious about that running
- 33:19Speaker 4: and studying running.
- 33:21Speaker 5: Let's hear about the running, the running.
- 33:23Speaker 7: So we went to Bert Chryscher and Tom Sigurs two
- 33:26Speaker 7: Bears five k. Great event, yeah, very well run event,
- 33:30Speaker 7: very cool. And so we're there, you know, with Burt
- 33:33Speaker 7: and all the guys at the at the starting line,
- 33:36Speaker 7: and boom we're off and we start running, and my
- 33:38Speaker 7: wife is there with me, my son is there, with
- 33:40Speaker 7: me and we're running and then my wife goes.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Are we really running?
- 33:45Speaker 7: I thought were just going to walk this It was great,
- 33:47Speaker 7: and so I went to a walk. How long did
- 33:49Speaker 7: you run through the I did, like the first I
- 33:53Speaker 7: don't know what was that minutes that first straight away? Yeah, no, no,
- 34:00Speaker 7: less than oh yeah, it's definitely less than I would
- 34:03Speaker 7: say we I probably ran for the first I don't
- 34:05Speaker 7: know half.
- 34:07Speaker 5: Okay, half miles. It's pretty good.
- 34:09Speaker 7: And your wife, but that's it now, asked me the
- 34:11Speaker 7: last time I ran.
- 34:13Speaker 5: That's the last time you've been chased. I couldn't catch
- 34:15Speaker 5: a flight or I couldn't tell you. But then it
- 34:17Speaker 5: was not then oh yeah, to get your bag. Yeah,
- 34:19Speaker 5: and it was left on the plane, right.
- 34:21Speaker 7: But then it kind of but then it kind of
- 34:22Speaker 7: segued into a cheer because then, you know, my wife
- 34:25Speaker 7: and I, because things have been so busy, we actually
- 34:27Speaker 7: had all this time like catch up on stuff. My
- 34:30Speaker 7: son ran the entire time because he's like, I'm not
- 34:32Speaker 7: going to get beat by jelly Roll. Yeah, He's like,
- 34:37Speaker 7: you can't lose to jelly roll. Jelly Roll has been Yeah,
- 34:40Speaker 7: he's been doing a five k a day.
- 34:42Speaker 5: He said, yeah, it runs every day and a half miles.
- 34:45Speaker 7: At least a five k every day.
- 34:47Speaker 4: Yeah, and he did it, and he wanted to do
- 34:50Speaker 4: it in thirty three minutes. He ended up doing in
- 34:52Speaker 4: thirty seven. But you know, people kept on stopping him
- 34:55Speaker 4: and stuff, I want to take photos.
- 34:57Speaker 5: Yep, so that's great and menace. You also ran. I
- 35:01Speaker 5: ran as well. Yeah, okay, yeah, like the.
- 35:04Speaker 4: I wanted to make sure I got jolly roll at
- 35:06Speaker 4: the finish with everybody, so I had to run fast,
- 35:09Speaker 4: run fast.
- 35:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:11Speaker 7: Uh see weekend cheers and jeers.
- 35:13Speaker 5: Gina, Yeah, cheers to back to back chick dates. And
- 35:19Speaker 5: you know what, I think this is the cheers for
- 35:20Speaker 5: all around because I don't think my husband was interested
- 35:22Speaker 5: in going to any of this, so you know what,
- 35:24Speaker 5: that's fine, but just no guys, just the ladies. Saturday,
- 35:29Speaker 5: had brunch, a beautiful, long, slow brunch with my girlfriends
- 35:33Speaker 5: and just caught up and ate and had a great time.
- 35:36Speaker 5: The next day, went to devil Ware's product with your wife, Woody,
- 35:41Speaker 5: which is always a highlight when I get to hang
- 35:43Speaker 5: out with her. Now, Greg, we did want you there,
- 35:46Speaker 5: but you weren't able to attend. But just so good
- 35:49Speaker 5: to just like go out with the ladies, talk some ish,
- 35:52Speaker 5: you know, like gossip, say some horrible things, have a
- 35:55Speaker 5: couple of drinks. It's awesome. But jeers, I am so
- 35:59Speaker 5: sick of this. Jears to forty minutes of ads and previews,
- 36:06Speaker 5: mostly ads before a movie. Forty minutes.
- 36:10Speaker 1: It's kind of why I don't go anymore.
- 36:11Speaker 5: I couldn't believe it. That has to be a new record.
- 36:14Speaker 5: I looked into it. In the two thousands, the average
- 36:18Speaker 5: time before a movie was like twelve minutes, and in
- 36:20Speaker 5: the eighties it was seven minutes. And I think it's
- 36:23Speaker 5: all the commercials, because it's not even movie trailers. It's
- 36:26Speaker 5: like ads for shoes.
- 36:28Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 36:29Speaker 5: I don't know for sure.
- 36:31Speaker 7: My guess is because the movie houses don't make any
- 36:34Speaker 7: money from the movie itself, Yeah, and make money from
- 36:37Speaker 7: the snacks and from those ads that they can sell beforehand.
- 36:40Speaker 5: Yes, and that's totally why. That's how this movie theater
- 36:44Speaker 5: stays in business. But they run it at stupid times,
- 36:46Speaker 5: like go to the concession stand and it's like the
- 36:48Speaker 5: last thing before the movie starts, like maybe put that
- 36:50Speaker 5: at the beginning, But forty minutes. We were ten minutes late,
- 36:55Speaker 5: and it didn't make a difference, So can we just
- 36:57Speaker 5: please tighten that up? That's all. They're not going to
- 36:59Speaker 5: do that. If we paid extra five dollars per ticket,
- 37:01Speaker 5: they got.
- 37:02Speaker 4: The same business, didn't great, No one's gonna buy a ticket,
- 37:04Speaker 4: right exactly?
- 37:05Speaker 13: Oh God, that the ticket start at the time of
- 37:08Speaker 13: the movie start time? Yes, so your movie didn't start
- 37:11Speaker 13: till forty minutes after it seven roarded.
- 37:13Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't like that the movie the tickets were
- 37:15Speaker 5: for one forty and the movie started after two twenty see,
- 37:19Speaker 5: because then how do you plan on the rest of
- 37:20Speaker 5: your day? You don't that's not fair. Yeah, that was
- 37:22Speaker 5: the I can't take it.
- 37:23Speaker 1: And just when you think there's no way there could
- 37:25Speaker 1: be another movie preview because there can't be that many
- 37:27Speaker 1: movies being.
- 37:28Speaker 5: Right, there are.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, there's more.
- 37:29Speaker 7: There's a lot menace weekend cheers and jeers.
- 37:33Speaker 4: Well, dude, Netflix is a joke comedy festival so good.
- 37:37Speaker 4: I went to a bunch of shows over the weekend.
- 37:39Speaker 4: It first started with Burt and Chack. They had like
- 37:43Speaker 4: this really intimate, small show and it was so funny, and.
- 37:47Speaker 5: Everybody had long to tell you how good it was.
- 37:50Speaker 4: Everybody had to lock up their phones because it was brutal,
- 37:54Speaker 4: and it was Gabriel Glacias, Matt Rife, Lunell, Big, Jay Ogerson,
- 37:59Speaker 4: Young Gravy was like in the crowd, the rapper, so
- 38:02Speaker 4: they were just like ripping him the whole time. It
- 38:04Speaker 4: was so funny, so good, and of course, you know,
- 38:07Speaker 4: the five K is a part of the festival, and
- 38:11Speaker 4: that was fun. And the other one that I went
- 38:13Speaker 4: to was Pete Davidson and John mulaney and they were
- 38:17Speaker 4: just kind of like sharing a lot of stories of
- 38:20Speaker 4: SNL and things like that. So shout out to Netflix's
- 38:24Speaker 4: Joke Comedy Festival. I ended up, you know, kind of
- 38:26Speaker 4: finishing it at home and watching the roast of Kevin Hart,
- 38:32Speaker 4: which was absolutely awesome.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Loved that.
- 38:35Speaker 5: And then I think my gears is just it's kind
- 38:39Speaker 5: of lame.
- 38:39Speaker 4: But this car charger that I used usually is not
- 38:42Speaker 4: working so different one. No, no, no, it's just I like,
- 38:49Speaker 4: this one that I normally use is by a company
- 38:52Speaker 4: called charge Point, So if we have anybody that works
- 38:54Speaker 4: for charge Point, I don't know. For some reason, my
- 38:56Speaker 4: account wasn't working with this particular charger. Like we have
- 38:59Speaker 4: charge Point in our building and it was working fine,
- 39:01Speaker 4: but this one charger wasn't working, so they try to
- 39:03Speaker 4: reset it and now it's just like bright red and
- 39:06Speaker 4: it doesn't work.
- 39:07Speaker 7: Little things like this, mat as I do understand. Yeah,
- 39:09Speaker 7: I have mentioned before, when you know, you get to
- 39:12Speaker 7: work and we have our garage is wide open because
- 39:14Speaker 7: there's nobody here before we get we're the first ones here,
- 39:17Speaker 7: first ones here, first one's here. Yeah, and if there's
- 39:21Speaker 7: there could be three cars the entire five level garage,
- 39:24Speaker 7: right yeah, but that one of those five cars will
- 39:27Speaker 7: be in the spot that I normally park in.
- 39:28Speaker 5: Throws my whole day out. I understand.
- 39:30Speaker 7: Menace when that charge is not the one that you need,
- 39:33Speaker 7: not worth one but you normally use it throws the
- 39:36Speaker 7: whole day off.
- 39:37Speaker 4: Kind of cool and not cool at the same time.
- 39:38Speaker 4: So like, uh, Toyota, you can start charging at the
- 39:43Speaker 4: Tesla chargers for at least my car, the BZ four X,
- 39:46Speaker 4: which is awesome, but another year is I don't have
- 39:49Speaker 4: the right adapter. But the cool part that I found
- 39:52Speaker 4: out is that I can actually get an adapter for
- 39:54Speaker 4: free from Toyota. So I just need to order it
- 39:56Speaker 4: through the app or go to a dealer. So got
- 39:58Speaker 4: to wait for that.
- 39:59Speaker 5: The Kevin heart roast.
- 40:00Speaker 7: Here's some of the jokes.
- 40:02Speaker 5: Loved it from the roast. Everyone loves you. Kevin Hart.
- 40:05Speaker 5: What a story.
- 40:06Speaker 7: Your dad was a street hustler and addicted to crack cocaine,
- 40:11Speaker 7: So I guess being dependent on the rock runs in
- 40:13Speaker 7: the family.
- 40:15Speaker 5: Jeff Ross ye.
- 40:19Speaker 4: Wait to watch one of the rock came out and
- 40:21Speaker 4: started showing his dad's mug shots of Kevin Hart's dad's
- 40:24Speaker 4: mug shots.
- 40:25Speaker 5: Yeah, so funny.
- 40:28Speaker 8: Kevin's dad wasn't there for him because he was addicted
- 40:31Speaker 8: to cocaine, which is a lot more respectable than not
- 40:33Speaker 8: being there for your kids because you're filming Jumanji three.
- 40:39Speaker 4: Will Kevin, you don't hear some things tonight that you're
- 40:41Speaker 4: not familiar with. Those things are called punchlines.
- 40:50Speaker 7: I was dying came out, you know. Tom Brady took
- 40:54Speaker 7: some shots out of me. That pretty good. Yeah, like
- 40:56Speaker 7: made fun of you. That Kevin Hart's affairs in Vegas?
- 40:59Speaker 5: Oh yeah, dude, because I gotta.
- 41:01Speaker 7: Get back to uh Vegas to attend to my affairs.
- 41:04Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I'm sorry. I'm not supposed to mention Vegas
- 41:06Speaker 7: and affairs.
- 41:07Speaker 11: The rules.
- 41:10Speaker 4: They seems like really nothing was off the table. I
- 41:12Speaker 4: think there was mentioned like, oh, I don't really talk
- 41:14Speaker 4: about his kids, but there was still some stuff in
- 41:16Speaker 4: there too, and I mean it was it was really good.
- 41:19Speaker 7: Uh sammy weekend cheers and jeers.
- 41:22Speaker 9: So my cheers is that we finally have the floors
- 41:25Speaker 9: picked out for seamboat Willy's place so that we can
- 41:28Speaker 9: move forward and put new floors in.
- 41:30Speaker 5: It has been the.
- 41:32Speaker 9: Most strenuous process of getting multiple estimates and then going like, oh, okay, great, these.
- 41:36Speaker 5: Are the floors. Are you the one handling this?
- 41:38Speaker 11: Well?
- 41:39Speaker 7: We both are okay, Well, because he owns the place,
- 41:42Speaker 7: it's his place, right right?
- 41:43Speaker 5: Wow? Okay, ladies moving in.
- 41:45Speaker 7: I know, but like moving in as the girlfriend, not
- 41:47Speaker 7: even as the fiance, right. So she's taken a lot
- 41:50Speaker 7: of like really hardcore ownership for someone who doesn't even
- 41:54Speaker 7: have a ring on it yet.
- 41:55Speaker 9: You know, it wants opinions on like what floors and
- 41:57Speaker 9: what are we talking?
- 41:57Speaker 5: Hardwood tile? Yeah?
- 42:00Speaker 9: Yeah, it'll be luxury vinyl and then tyle in the middle, lovely.
- 42:05Speaker 5: What do you think of that?
- 42:06Speaker 1: Greg? I think picking out floors is equally as important
- 42:09Speaker 1: as picking out a name for a baby. The biggest
- 42:14Speaker 1: decision you'll ever imagine in your life. I issue not
- 42:18Speaker 1: look at it totally.
- 42:20Speaker 5: It has been a process and it's a big deal.
- 42:22Speaker 5: Well do you like that?
- 42:23Speaker 9: And then but it's great because I can just because
- 42:25Speaker 9: he's really good with tech stuff, so I'll go, I
- 42:29Speaker 9: think maybe these floors and then he'll just on his
- 42:31Speaker 9: computer really quick do a virtual thing so we can
- 42:33Speaker 9: see his place with the floors and go like, okay,
- 42:36Speaker 9: do you like this?
- 42:37Speaker 7: It's that is a benefit now.
- 42:40Speaker 4: For Yeah, I can't imagine this deepened floors with a girlfriend.
- 42:47Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 42:48Speaker 7: Well he's I mean, you could tell that he's really
- 42:51Speaker 7: serious about this relationship because he knows that if whatever reason,
- 42:56Speaker 7: God forbid, but God forbid doesn't work out, Okay, whoever
- 43:00Speaker 7: the next chick that comes in, well you picked up
- 43:02Speaker 7: these floors of the extra to all that crap out.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's an expensive breakup.
- 43:07Speaker 5: Yep, exactly. I don't think he would say anything.
- 43:09Speaker 9: It took me a long time to figure out his
- 43:11Speaker 9: cat was within his ex So it.
- 43:13Speaker 4: Took me five seconds in the beginning.
- 43:17Speaker 10: True, Yeah, yeah, pretty true.
- 43:20Speaker 5: What do you mean girlfriend part true?
- 43:22Speaker 13: Or oh if it's even true that he got it
- 43:23Speaker 13: from a next girlfriend, that's.
- 43:24Speaker 12: Super true that I thought he's not gay choices.
- 43:29Speaker 5: That's exactly what Morgan's implying.
- 43:32Speaker 9: So anyways, finally able to get any floors because the
- 43:34Speaker 9: ones we picked out were discontinued and then the other
- 43:37Speaker 9: ones that we picked out they didn't have matching trim
- 43:38Speaker 9: for the stairs and the hahuh were I think we're
- 43:41Speaker 9: done now so we can finally get them installed. And
- 43:44Speaker 9: my gears is that I did also go see Devil
- 43:49Speaker 9: Worst Product over the weekend, same and my favorite, and
- 43:52Speaker 9: I loved the movie.
- 43:53Speaker 5: It was great.
- 43:53Speaker 9: But my favorite movie theater I found out is closing
- 43:55Speaker 9: at the end of the month.
- 43:56Speaker 5: He's there. I saw the movie enough, the one that
- 44:00Speaker 5: puts you at king sized bed or whatever you go
- 44:02Speaker 5: through not enough ads. Yeah, and there were some ads.
- 44:06Speaker 5: They didn't bother me as much as they've bothered Gina.
- 44:09Speaker 5: Forty minutes. Yeah, I wasn't that long.
- 44:12Speaker 9: But no, I'm so sad that they're closing. It's the
- 44:15Speaker 9: best movie theater. It does well, but all the other
- 44:19Speaker 9: ones around the country do not. I guess so there
- 44:21Speaker 9: are bankrupt and are closing at the end of the month.
- 44:23Speaker 9: But there, that's the one by your place now, No, oh,
- 44:28Speaker 9: by Steamboat Willie's.
- 44:29Speaker 5: I feel like I would if it was that comfortable,
- 44:30Speaker 5: I'd fall asleep, Like if you get a blanket in
- 44:33Speaker 5: the standard theaters yea, every dark every movie, it's chill.
- 44:37Speaker 9: Yeah, nice, it's the best theater around, and it's closing
- 44:41Speaker 9: up very fall I mean, there's a.
- 44:42Speaker 7: Lot of articles say they get used to that, like
- 44:45Speaker 7: a lot of these movie theaters are going to be
- 44:47Speaker 7: closed and more and more. If theaters in general there
- 44:49Speaker 7: might be like a more so like what you're talking about,
- 44:52Speaker 7: like where there's like an IMAX experience or there's some
- 44:55Speaker 7: kind of other but just like the standard movie theater
- 44:58Speaker 7: is probably not going to survive.
- 45:00Speaker 1: It's to catch twenty two because you want more people
- 45:02Speaker 1: there obviously to stay in business. Then they show all
- 45:04Speaker 1: these previews and ads and it makes you not go,
- 45:06Speaker 1: so you're shooting the customers.
- 45:08Speaker 4: It's kind of like in the plot of Devils Prada.
- 45:11Speaker 4: It's just like like the uh making stuff crappier and
- 45:17Speaker 4: then less people will check it out. They're talking about
- 45:19Speaker 4: the magazine industry right right, and then but you got
- 45:23Speaker 4: to put more ads in there to stay alive. But
- 45:25Speaker 4: people don't want them, so much of what.
- 45:27Speaker 9: They're doing with the magazine dictated by the advertiser.
- 45:30Speaker 5: Yeah, or crazy. It's pretty deep, guys. Or kind of
- 45:35Speaker 5: like radio with all these commercials. Show We'll be right,
- 45:38Speaker 5: We'll be right, We'll be right back.
- 45:42Speaker 7: Is show got the what do you Show prom?
- 45:46Speaker 5: Coming up?
- 45:47Speaker 7: What do You Show prom? Happening in the Rongo Casino
- 45:49Speaker 7: Resort and spat Saturday, June sixth. It starts at seven pm.
- 45:55Speaker 7: And uh, it's like a it's like a throwback problem,
- 45:59Speaker 7: just like we did last year. We had we had
- 46:01Speaker 7: a lot of fun last year.
- 46:02Speaker 5: It was great.
- 46:02Speaker 7: We had Spasmatics play, which I had never seen before,
- 46:05Speaker 7: and there was a lot of exciting about them in
- 46:07Speaker 7: the room before I even saw them.
- 46:09Speaker 5: And then everybody had such a great time. We're like,
- 46:10Speaker 5: all right, man, let's run it back.
- 46:12Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 46:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:13Speaker 7: So we have the Spasmatics, who will once again be
- 46:15Speaker 7: playing an eighties cover band. They're awesome. There are a
- 46:18Speaker 7: lot of our homie. DJ J Spinoza is gonna be
- 46:22Speaker 7: spinning World Champion DJ Dude. He's fantastic. He was the
- 46:26Speaker 7: DJ at our ten year Fiesta with Cypress Hill. Yeah,
- 46:29Speaker 7: if you if you went to that, that was another
- 46:32Speaker 7: date that uh, Scotty Fox. We reached out to Scotty.
- 46:34Speaker 7: It's like we're cutting Scotty out of stuff. But Scotty's
- 46:37Speaker 7: daughter is graduating from high school that day, so he
- 46:42Speaker 7: he can't be there. But DJ Jazz Spinoza he's fantastic.
- 46:44Speaker 7: We're gonna be doing some more stuff with him too
- 46:46Speaker 7: because he's he's great. I want to do that your
- 46:48Speaker 7: mom's club night thing.
- 46:50Speaker 5: Oh yeah yeah.
- 46:51Speaker 7: And then also a guy that we met at was
- 46:53Speaker 7: that Alter Ego. Yes, yeah, this magician. Yeah, and he's
- 46:59Speaker 7: gonna be there. He's gonna be doing like a whole
- 47:00Speaker 7: like a lot of the up close magic stuff throughout
- 47:02Speaker 7: the event, and it's stuff that you would see in
- 47:04Speaker 7: a problem photo opportunities and nuclear rules.
- 47:08Speaker 5: Yeah, something he did to Greg and I still haunts
- 47:13Speaker 5: how did that get in there? Yeah?
- 47:16Speaker 1: Hid in there.
- 47:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:18Speaker 7: So this is a deal where you don't have to
- 47:21Speaker 7: dress like prom a tire but most people did.
- 47:23Speaker 5: Pretty much everyone did.
- 47:25Speaker 7: You will be one of the few people who don't. Again,
- 47:27Speaker 7: nobody was like shamed.
- 47:28Speaker 1: You can.
- 47:29Speaker 7: I hate dress it up, but even I did it
- 47:30Speaker 7: for this thing. But it's yeah, it's not required, but
- 47:34Speaker 7: we do like a prom king and queen and a
- 47:36Speaker 7: whole bunch of stuff. And you can book your rooms
- 47:38Speaker 7: now Marongo Casino Resort and Spa and again it's Saturday,
- 47:42Speaker 7: June the sixth.

- 47:46Speaker 4: you don't need a ticket of any kind. There's no
- 47:48Speaker 4: cover charge.

- 47:51Speaker 5: just twenty.
- 47:52Speaker 7: One up and then and then you uh and then
- 47:54Speaker 7: you show up Saturday June sixth. The Marongo Ballroom is

- 48:01Speaker 7: Get all the details by going to the Woodieshow dot
- 48:04Speaker 7: com and clicking.
- 48:04Speaker 5: On events.
- 48:13Speaker 1: All Right.
- 48:13Speaker 7: Gina Grad tell us about the trending news headlines.
- 48:16Speaker 5: I'm sure we've all heard about that horrible Frontier Airlines
- 48:19Speaker 5: incident in Denver by now, But just to recap, a
- 48:22Speaker 5: flight heading to Los Angeles hit and killed someone who
- 48:24Speaker 5: had reportedly jumped the airport fence and run onto the
- 48:27Speaker 5: freeway during takeoff Fromtimes should get what you ask for, right.
- 48:31Speaker 5: Passengers say they heard a loud bang, saw smoke flames
- 48:34Speaker 5: coming out of the engines before the plane stopped, and
- 48:36Speaker 5: everyone had to evacuate using the emergency slide.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I see that, saw video of that.
- 48:41Speaker 5: Yeah. Too many idiots by the way, grabbing all their stuff.
- 48:44Speaker 5: Oh yeah, a lot of people get flighting down with
- 48:46Speaker 5: their suitcases. Yeah. I got more on that a second ago.
- 48:48Speaker 5: Well a dozen people at minor injuries. Five were taking
- 48:50Speaker 5: the hospital and investigators are now looking into how this
- 48:54Speaker 5: person got onto the runway and how this whole thing
- 48:57Speaker 5: was handled. But here's what makes it extra weird.
- 48:59Speaker 7: He jumped the but.
- 49:02Speaker 5: Denver International Airport is bigger than all of Manhattan. Yeah,
- 49:06Speaker 5: and it has thirty six miles of fencing. So how
- 49:10Speaker 5: did he do this without anyone noticing?
- 49:12Speaker 7: Well, no, that's how he did it without anybody noticing,
- 49:14Speaker 7: because it's so big.
- 49:16Speaker 5: That's how he did it. Yeah, there's so much, so
- 49:19Speaker 5: it's exactly how he did it.
- 49:21Speaker 7: But you would just think it's so small. How they
- 49:23Speaker 7: miss it?
- 49:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know. It just seems okay, okay, Well
- 49:29Speaker 5: it's not like people.
- 49:31Speaker 7: Can people get over those things. The question is like,
- 49:33Speaker 7: why was this intentional? Was this like that like a
- 49:36Speaker 7: like a suicide situation, or just somebody.
- 49:38Speaker 5: Insane to find it? Who knows?
- 49:42Speaker 7: Now the people going down the slide or just getting
- 49:46Speaker 7: off of airplanes in general, like that in those emergencies,
- 49:49Speaker 7: like you know, emergency situations, you don't take all your crap.
- 49:53Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, if you have like your backpack on the
- 49:57Speaker 7: seat in front, fine, but like not anything in the
- 50:00Speaker 7: overhead yeah, and the overhead compartment. Now people are getting
- 50:03Speaker 7: down to the bottom of the slide. And there's a
- 50:04Speaker 7: couple of videos of these people too, like they got
- 50:07Speaker 7: their kids off the plane and now they have like
- 50:09Speaker 7: this one passenger had their kids standing in front of
- 50:11Speaker 7: the burned out.
- 50:12Speaker 5: Engine taking a picture.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Oh good, it's like.
- 50:14Speaker 7: No, and they're all young. Get away from the plane.
- 50:17Speaker 7: Get away, You're guess they're being evacuated. Get away from
- 50:20Speaker 7: the plane. People going over there like looking into the
- 50:23Speaker 7: like idiots. Right, here's something I never realized. The way
- 50:28Speaker 7: the airports are set up, and they have the fire stations,
- 50:31Speaker 7: you know, strategically positioned because the fire trucks have to
- 50:34Speaker 7: be able to get to wherever runway is involved within
- 50:38Speaker 7: ninety seconds. Damn right, because planes are fire rated for
- 50:42Speaker 7: ninety seconds.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Oh right. It's a kind of like the.
- 50:46Speaker 7: Door between your garage and your house, Like that door
- 50:50Speaker 7: provides a certain amount of time that will you know,
- 50:53Speaker 7: withstand a certain amount of fire or whatever. Right, So
- 50:56Speaker 7: ninety seconds. That's why they say leave all your stuff
- 50:59Speaker 7: because they're trying to get everybody off the plane in
- 51:02Speaker 7: ninety seconds.
- 51:03Speaker 5: Well you guys my laptop, yeah yeah, yeah.
- 51:05Speaker 7: So if you need like a medication, if you need
- 51:08Speaker 7: a medication or things like that that you okay, well
- 51:10Speaker 7: you won't be able to deal with you know, you're
- 51:13Speaker 7: gonna get your stuff back by the way they said
- 51:15Speaker 7: it could. They said it could take up to twelve hours.
- 51:18Speaker 7: It won't take that long, but it could possibly. So
- 51:21Speaker 7: if you if there's anything you would need in the
- 51:23Speaker 7: next twelve hours when you get on a plane, make
- 51:25Speaker 7: sure it's in your bag that's underneath this heat in
- 51:26Speaker 7: front of you.
- 51:27Speaker 5: Put it in your pocket.
- 51:28Speaker 7: Don't be bearing it up in the thing that's in
- 51:30Speaker 7: the overhead compartment, and don't be grabbing that stuff when
- 51:33Speaker 7: it's time to get off the plane. After you know,
- 51:36Speaker 7: you had to making an emergency stop on the runway
- 51:38Speaker 7: and now you're evacuating because the engine was on fire
- 51:40Speaker 7: because someone got yeah, consumed by the engine. Is the
- 51:43Speaker 7: term that I saw sucked on up for this person.
- 51:46Speaker 5: Yeah, paper right, exactly, idiot. Well, some of the passengers
- 51:50Speaker 5: from that Haunt of virus quarantine cruise ship have finally
- 51:52Speaker 5: gotten off the ship and now they're being flown back home. Meanwhile,
- 51:55Speaker 5: the CDC says seventeen American passengers are being taken to
- 51:58Speaker 5: Nebraska for ten observation and quarantine just to be safe
- 52:02Speaker 5: and before everybody freaks out. Health agencies say they're continuing
- 52:06Speaker 5: to monitor everyone who is on board, but that this strain,
- 52:09Speaker 5: the ANDES strain of the Haunt virus, almost never spreads
- 52:12Speaker 5: person to person, so hopefully we keep it that way.
- 52:15Speaker 5: And North Korea has changed its constitution saying that if
- 52:19Speaker 5: Kim Jong un is killed or loses control during an attack,
- 52:22Speaker 5: the country is required to launch a nuclear strike. So
- 52:26Speaker 5: the new policy basically acts like this dead man switch
- 52:29Speaker 5: to retaliate if Kim himself can't do it. And the
- 52:32Speaker 5: move came after North Korea watched the US Israel strike
- 52:37Speaker 5: that killed Iran's supreme leader, and other top officials and
- 52:41Speaker 5: analysts say Pyongyang was shaken by how quickly Iran's leadership
- 52:45Speaker 5: was taken out, and it's trying to make clear that
- 52:47Speaker 5: assassinating Kim will still trigger retaliation.
- 52:50Speaker 4: I thought it was pretty much set up like that anyways,
- 52:53Speaker 4: Like if something happened to him, they're just going to
- 52:55Speaker 4: shoot all the missiles that they have.
- 52:57Speaker 7: Well, I've seen different reports saying that they don't necessarily
- 53:00Speaker 7: have the capabilities that they claim to have.
- 53:01Speaker 5: Like they do have.
- 53:02Speaker 7: They do have some rockets and then some missiles and stuff,
- 53:04Speaker 7: but don't.
- 53:05Speaker 5: They just have like old Cold War stuff and you know,
- 53:07Speaker 5: stuff from like the Soviets.
- 53:09Speaker 7: That part I'm not sure about, but I did see,
- 53:11Speaker 7: like in other words, like they're not as you know,
- 53:13Speaker 7: it's the guy holding the gun under his shirt, but
- 53:16Speaker 7: it's it's his finger.
- 53:17Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, give me all your money.
- 53:18Speaker 4: Well, they have rockets that land in the ocean outside
- 53:21Speaker 4: of Japan.
- 53:21Speaker 7: Sure, Like that's what I'm saying. They have those kind
- 53:23Speaker 7: of things. But as far as like these uh long
- 53:25Speaker 7: real super long range ballistic you know, nuclear warhead you
- 53:29Speaker 7: know kind of things, they want them, of.
- 53:31Speaker 5: Course they want yeah, yeah, your hero so, oh yeah,
- 53:36Speaker 5: your favorite. Well the Devilwares product too was the biggest
- 53:39Speaker 5: movie at the box office again this weekend, pulled in
- 53:41Speaker 5: another forty three million here in the US. Right behind
- 53:44Speaker 5: that was the new release of Mortal Kombat two that
- 53:47Speaker 5: opened with forty million in North America. The Michael Jackson
- 53:51Speaker 5: biopic came in third, thirty six million in its third weekend.
- 53:54Speaker 5: And my kit and husband saw that, so it was great.
- 53:56Speaker 5: And I'm sure your family's seen it like a thousand
- 53:58Speaker 5: times nowady Michael Jackson movie. Yeah, oh yeah, they've seen
- 54:02Speaker 5: at least twice. It's crazy. Well, family mystery comedy Sheep
- 54:06Speaker 5: Detective followed with a better than expected sixteen million bucks.
- 54:10Speaker 5: And why I think that's relevant is it has ninety
- 54:12Speaker 5: three percent with the critics and ninety six percent with
- 54:15Speaker 5: the audience on Rotten Tomatoes, Like, is this like a
- 54:17Speaker 5: perfect movie, something that we all need to see. Well,
- 54:21Speaker 5: Billie Eilish's concert movie hit Me Hard and Soft that
- 54:23Speaker 5: rounded out the top newcomers was seven and a half million.
- 54:26Speaker 7: So what did you think of devil Ware's product?
- 54:29Speaker 1: You like it?
- 54:29Speaker 5: Loved? Yeah, Meda you said you saw, Yeah, I really
- 54:32Speaker 5: liked it. Samy. On a scale one to ten, I
- 54:34Speaker 5: give it an eight. At eight Menace, I'll give it
- 54:37Speaker 5: probably a seven. Yeah, Okay, yeah, it was not great.
- 54:43Speaker 5: I mean some.
- 54:43Speaker 4: Parties I felt like a little bit long, you know,
- 54:45Speaker 4: they were kind of killing time to drag it out
- 54:47Speaker 4: a little bit more. But other than that, I like
- 54:50Speaker 4: the plot. I mean I think it was a lot.
- 54:52Speaker 4: It was relatable to a lot of what we do
- 54:55Speaker 4: in entertainment, and you know how no, no, well we
- 55:00Speaker 4: try to entertain no, just like how everything is changed
- 55:04Speaker 4: and every like in media or like movies. Everything, they
- 55:08Speaker 4: like try to you know, dwindle everything in the background,
- 55:12Speaker 4: like the amount of people that like help out, like
- 55:14Speaker 4: budget runs and budget cuts and yeah, and all that
- 55:17Speaker 4: kind of stuff.
- 55:18Speaker 5: And then they try to get more.
- 55:19Speaker 4: Ads to keep everything running. But the quality is down.
- 55:23Speaker 4: So they're like, why isn't so many people like checking
- 55:27Speaker 4: out the magazine? And they're like, well, you like cut
- 55:30Speaker 4: everybody to make it a good product, but you're trying
- 55:33Speaker 4: to get more Yeah, the.
- 55:34Speaker 7: Quality, right, the quality content that people came for. Yeah,
- 55:38Speaker 7: it's quality content because now there's fewer people.
- 55:41Speaker 5: That's the whole. Here's some toothpicks build a house.
- 55:44Speaker 4: Yeah, and then you can't sell ads, so you're like, yeah,
- 55:47Speaker 4: you're you're the ones that are sauzing all this.
- 55:50Speaker 9: Yeah, and they address how like not many people buy
- 55:52Speaker 9: magazines anymore. Everything's online, but online is so flooded full
- 55:56Speaker 9: of click over here click over here, click over here.
- 55:58Speaker 9: That no one's reading the articles on line anyways, then
- 56:01Speaker 9: it's just really difficult.
- 56:03Speaker 5: You went and saw it, Yeah, I saw it with
- 56:04Speaker 5: your wife.
- 56:05Speaker 1: Would you give it?
- 56:05Speaker 5: I give a six and a half. Okay, it's cute,
- 56:08Speaker 5: really fun if you're into the if you're into the original,
- 56:11Speaker 5: but you could definitely wait till it's on TV.
- 56:12Speaker 1: I'm just doing to see how they reunite.
- 56:14Speaker 5: That's great, But I have to say, and I might
- 56:16Speaker 5: I might catch hell for this, especially from Sammy. But
- 56:20Speaker 5: here's the thing with Anne Hathaway. She has all the
- 56:23Speaker 5: ingredients and like qualities of like a likable, every day
- 56:27Speaker 5: like girl next door, but she just isn't. She's just
- 56:31Speaker 5: not like likable and like fun to me.
- 56:33Speaker 9: But Gina, you went to go see Devil wors Product too,
- 56:36Speaker 9: so you would have known that you didn't like Anne
- 56:38Speaker 9: Hathaway before you saw the movie.
- 56:41Speaker 5: I love Meryl Strap and Stanley Tucci, but it's not
- 56:44Speaker 5: like she ruined it. I'm just saying, like, is it's
- 56:46Speaker 5: so hard for me to grasp her as like the
- 56:48Speaker 5: US shucks girl. She's just she doesn't have it, and
- 56:51Speaker 5: she had it twenty years ago, but she's I don't know,
- 56:53Speaker 5: it's not my thing, but I thought it was a
- 56:55Speaker 5: good movie. It's just you could wait to see it
- 56:57Speaker 5: on TV.
- 56:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I like a lot. It was shot and I'm like, oh,
- 57:00Speaker 4: I've been there.
- 57:01Speaker 9: Oh yeah and Milan, Yeah, it was awesome.
- 57:04Speaker 5: Well, finally, the Pentagon's new UFO website got more than
- 57:08Speaker 5: three hundred and forty million hits in just the first
- 57:10Speaker 5: twelve hours after launching on Friday. People rush to the
- 57:13Speaker 5: side to dig through newly released government files and videos, photos,
- 57:17Speaker 5: military reports, NASA stuff, all kinds of stuff. By the way,
- 57:20Speaker 5: UFOs they are not UFOs now, they are UAPs. Do
- 57:23Speaker 5: you know what that stands for? Yeah, Eric Phenomenon, Yes,
- 57:28Speaker 5: he best mentions that all the time. Yeah, just making
- 57:30Speaker 5: sure well. President Trump posted the release about the release
- 57:33Speaker 5: basically told everyone to go through the files, have fun
- 57:35Speaker 5: figuring out what's really going on out there. And officials
- 57:39Speaker 5: say the archives includes decades of material, including all the
- 57:43Speaker 5: military sightings and older records, and they plan to keep
- 57:45Speaker 5: uploading more over time. But the Pentagon, you guys, says
- 57:49Speaker 5: there's still no confirm proof, so just don't bother. Well,
- 57:52Speaker 5: that's the website, yeah.
- 57:54Speaker 7: Exactly, talking about I just don't know why. People are
- 57:56Speaker 7: always surprised when they say they have these things are
- 57:59Speaker 7: going to release. I don't know what you're expecting.
- 58:01Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, full on video.
- 58:03Speaker 7: Yeah, oh, it's the proof you've been waiting for.
- 58:05Speaker 5: Like it's not happening. It's it's not and it's not
- 58:09Speaker 5: proof per se.
- 58:10Speaker 4: The government is like, we don't know what you people
- 58:12Speaker 4: always there's like that was a big nothing burger.
- 58:14Speaker 5: Well, yeah, what did you think you're going to haul
- 58:16Speaker 5: out an alien like Annibal Lecter?
- 58:18Speaker 4: Right, there was one photo that's photo around that like
- 58:20Speaker 4: looks like super early photoshop, like insanely fake. Yeah, but
- 58:25Speaker 4: a big bubble with the I don't know, the I
- 58:28Speaker 4: don't know, like.
- 58:29Speaker 5: The big eyes. Yeah, and it's on the website kind
- 58:33Speaker 5: of thing. Take later exactly, Yeah, yeah, exactly what's going on.
- 58:38Speaker 7: But for the people who are really into that, they
- 58:39Speaker 7: give you something to talk about. Right, this is Christ's Fuel,
- 58:42Speaker 7: your favorite podcast for the next thirty days.
- 58:44Speaker 4: There is some videos that look pretty crazy, though, welcome.
- 58:52Speaker 7: Back little perspective which is needed.
- 58:57Speaker 4: From time to time in the form of but that
- 59:00Speaker 4: sucks story.
- 59:02Speaker 7: This Catholic deacon the name is Anthony Polio. He died
- 59:09Speaker 7: and what investigators believe was a surprise bear attack.
- 59:14Speaker 5: Oh damn.
- 59:15Speaker 7: He was out hiking alone, first of all, hiking, right, Greg,
- 59:19Speaker 7: another story involving hiking. This is in Montana. His body
- 59:23Speaker 7: was found off the main path in a wooded area,
- 59:26Speaker 7: and the police say that he had left his dad
- 59:28Speaker 7: of voicemail during that hike describing his day and his plans.
- 59:31Speaker 7: He sounded winded but upbeat and was making his way,
- 59:34Speaker 7: you know, through the park and the trail. The park
- 59:36Speaker 7: is temporarily closed and the officials are looking. You know
- 59:40Speaker 7: what happened is They say it's the first fatal bear
- 59:43Speaker 7: attack in like a decade.
- 59:44Speaker 1: It's that long or more.
- 59:46Speaker 5: You have to have any weapons on him. Glacier National
- 59:49Speaker 5: Park in mont Dad. One Father's Day many years ago.
- 59:54Speaker 1: That was my gift. I took him from Montana and
- 59:56Speaker 1: we were doing this hike and a group of hikers
- 59:58Speaker 1: were coming down as we were going up and they said, hey,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: just a little f yi, we did see a grizzly
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: bear up there. The rest of the day, I held
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: my bear and I was just oh my god, oh
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: my god. I was so scared. If I saw a bear,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I would probably pass it. Even though I think they're
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: the coolest animals.
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: What is the appeal of hiking?
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: I'm just asking just get out just for exercise, exerish.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: And one of I think it's dorky to say it,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: but I'll admit it. Scenery.
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, nothing's more impressed. Nothing's more depressing than running
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: on a treadmill inside. So at least be outside, get
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: some fresh air, see some sights and sounds.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: You see some water falls, eagles.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: But sometimes you think it's, oh, it's not that big
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: of a deal.
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: The hike.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: You know, that happened to me in Alaska with Tyler.
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: And then next thing you know, it's just like, oh,
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: this is actually like a six mile trail.
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: Like, next thing you know, it's like, where's Tyler. Yeah
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: he's dying.
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: And then we have a coworker Ari he almost died
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: on a trail because he didn't realize how big it
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: was and he ended up being out for like eleven hours.
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: So my uncle I just saw he's going to Hawaii
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: and he was telling me about some of his plans
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: and I'm thinking, like, oh, man, the beach, or they wore,
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: can go swim with dolphins, or you know, things like
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: that he's like, well, on one day we're doing a
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: ten mile hike, and on another day we're doing a
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: five mile hike, and then we're doing a hike to
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: a volcanic hike, hike vacation.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: Yeah, there's so much hiking.
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: Here's a guy that needs a hip replacement. Oh and
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: he got whatever that for his own shot before the
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: before the vacation, so he can make it through. God,
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: I go, man, what about just you know, I don't know,
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: hanging on the beach.
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: Can we cool it with the hiking because my kid
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: just got a sign up for boy Scouts. And how
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: you earned the hiking merit badge? I looked it up.
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: Two he's ten years old. Two ten mile hikes and
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: one twenty mile hike and you have to like chart
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: it and map it out higher. Can you imagine?
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: So now that your husband is laid up, he needs
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: knee surgery. Yeah, he tore everything, by the.
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: Way, everything and mcl a cl meniscus and fractured is to.
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: Be and it's one of those he's got a heel
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: before they could do surgery.
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: Yeah, so he looks like he's getting better so they
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: can do surgery. And he won't walk for three months.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: How this happened again?
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: Uh uh? Adult basketball league? Well, he he said he was.
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: He's trying to catch a bad pass and he went
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: full force and tried to stop himself before slamming into
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: the wall, which would have been infinitely better, and heard
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: just pops snap crackle pop.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: So now that he's dealing with dad, who's got to
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: do all these hikes, I don't have to do the
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: houseless badger.
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: I'll drop him off at the at the site with
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: the other kids, and i'll pick him up at the end.
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: I ain't going. I'm not a volunteer. I'm not. I mean,
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: I'm not like one of the moms that goes with them. Okay,
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: I didn't know if you had to go. I don't
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: think I have to go. I am going to get
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: live scanned and like all that stuff. So if they
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: need someone, I can do it. But in general that
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: you'll be doing it, that's all.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: She'll be on at least one of them, maybe not
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: twenty mile one, but she'll be on at least one
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: of these tenors. Oh, I have a friend that just
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: got back speaking to Hawaii. Doing a hike in Hawaii
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: around Kawaii for like multiple days. You have to like
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: camp out something like that, and like people die on
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: this trail all the time, Like why why are you
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: doing this?
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: One thing?
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: That is cool? Cool enough?
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Uh?
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: And you go to the top of one of the
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: volcanoes and then you might mountain bike down.
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: Yeah, that's cool, that's very good.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: That sounds equally dangerous.
- 1:03:39Speaker 5: I would love Is there a mountain bike place at
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: the top?
- 1:03:42Speaker 8: Yes, they know, they drive them up, they bring they
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: do that, and they also there was one where you
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: could take a helicopter to the top and then you
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: mountain bike down.
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: Take a drive to the top and then you mountain
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: bike down. That'd be cool.
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: But yeah, to hike up just a mountain bike down
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: or the mountain bike up and bat.
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: New no, thank you.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: I mean, as long as you have like all the
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: tools that you need, it's not that bad. But if
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: you just kind of like hike on a whim, it's
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: like water and like, I don't know, just in case
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: something happens, you can call some weapons, just in case
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: you get total weapons. I used to hunting with my
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: stepfather and we would have a special handgun just for
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: boar because will just come out of nowhere and start attacking.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Five.
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: That's my wife.
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: She's like, let's go Hi can be as active as
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: f on vacation. I tell her, Nope, I'm lying on
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: the beach or by the pool. Yeah, that's vacation.
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: If you're calling. If you're calling it a hiking get away, fine,
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: but don't trick me and call it vacation, right and
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: put me on a hike.
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: My other march Mother buddy, he and his wife went
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: on like a it's called like an eco resort.
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: Like, so it sounds terrible. Yeah, it sounds like flushing
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: the toilet with.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: Like a Yeah, Greg, Greg and I vacation the same,
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: winning right, Like we can go on a lover's princesses.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, let's camp at the four season's all right?
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: Eight seven seven forty four Woody send us a text
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: over to two to nine eight seven You get some
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: more Woody show for your next hang on.
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: The Woody showed to be back show all right, into
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: another new hour.
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: It is the Woody Show, Woody, Greg Minnis, Gina Ground
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: weekend cheers and jeers. Hopefully you guys had a good weekend.
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: If you want to call in eight seven seven forty four, Woody,
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: you want to text whatever you got over to two
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: to nine eighty seven.
- 1:05:34Speaker 13: Do that?
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: See bats? What are your weekend cheers and jeers?
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: Well, cheers to Netflix and Shane Gillis the roaster Kevin Hard,
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: as I said, was gonna have some pretty rough stuff
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: in it earlier in the week, and it did if
- 1:05:46Speaker 8: you didn't check it out. I won't spoil too much
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: of it, although then you can't skip about the tes
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: first ten to fifteen minutes because there's a lot of
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: uh surprise guests that weren't that funny. But when Shanon
- 1:05:55Speaker 8: Gillis got into his monologue and his roasting, it was
- 1:05:58Speaker 8: it was very very good. My favorite, now I will
- 1:06:01Speaker 8: spoil this a little bit. My favorite joke was he
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: was introducing Chelsea Handler and he said, you know, Chelsea
- 1:06:06Speaker 8: often brags about her past abortions. In fact, she's been
- 1:06:10Speaker 8: scraped more than the grill of Penny Hannah Coo.
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: That's a lot. I didn't get the response from that crowd.
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: I mean, Kevin Hart enjoyed it.
- 1:06:18Speaker 8: I appreciated that, But that was one of the jokes
- 1:06:21Speaker 8: that I've been privileged to see the preview out of
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: it that really stuck in my brain.
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: I was like, Wow, that was that's a good line.
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: It was good man.
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: I mean I started thirty minutes in good I watched
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: it live.
- 1:06:30Speaker 8: Yeah don't yes, skip if you want to skip through
- 1:06:32Speaker 8: the first fifteen twenty that's okay.
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: Yeah, And it was so good. I really joyed it,
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: really died laughing.
- 1:06:38Speaker 8: Yeah, really hard stuff, much appreciated. It's a good job
- 1:06:41Speaker 8: to Shane and those folks. And one thing, it kind
- 1:06:44Speaker 8: of leads me to my jeers because a part of
- 1:06:46Speaker 8: it he's like he's not he's doing some pretty rough
- 1:06:48Speaker 8: stuff in the crowds, like because the first the first
- 1:06:52Speaker 8: one is here's the thing is those first tables are
- 1:06:56Speaker 8: all celebrities. It's all like and it's la so it's
- 1:06:58Speaker 8: all the real housewives, the da da da Da da da.
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: And he addressed that he's like, this is for the
- 1:07:02Speaker 8: guys in the upper deck, which he does.
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: That happened.
- 1:07:08Speaker 8: That happened to him both times he hosted SNL. We
- 1:07:10Speaker 8: brought we brought that up at the time. Is I
- 1:07:12Speaker 8: think that's the one My one criticism of Shane is
- 1:07:15Speaker 8: that don't like when that stuff happens, when you get
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: those groans and he's gotten them for years and years now,
- 1:07:20Speaker 8: don't address it. Like if there was Norm McDonald, he
- 1:07:21Speaker 8: would just he would keep going. He would he'd sit
- 1:07:23Speaker 8: in it. He let him, he'd let him sit in it,
- 1:07:25Speaker 8: and then he keep going.
- 1:07:26Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: I always like the way that Ricky Dravais would handle it.
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: Shut up. Yeah, nobody cares. Nobody care, Which leads me
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: to my part of my jeers.
- 1:07:35Speaker 8: I just realized over the weekend, that's kind of how
- 1:07:37Speaker 8: that that really good SNL bit go got started.
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: The where a joke swap.
- 1:07:41Speaker 8: Where Michael j and yeah jokes, that's Ryan Gosling other
- 1:07:48Speaker 8: handsome gentleman. That's how it got started is they would
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: tell those jokes, those really awful jokes at the the
- 1:07:54Speaker 8: the rehearsals, the eight clock up rehearsal for SNL, and
- 1:07:58Speaker 8: that that that that that New York crowd would just.
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: But if I'm SNL, I would go with the ones
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: that got the biggest groans, and that that would be
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: how I would select them, because that's the whole point.
- 1:08:09Speaker 8: That's that's not that's not that's not what SNEL does.
- 1:08:13Speaker 8: SNL wants a they don't want the groans in the audience.
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: They want fun and happy.
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: No, but I mean for the swap. And what Gena's
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: getting at is what I just.
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: Learned over the weekend is that when they presented it as, oh,
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: these are the jokes that I'm writing for that other guy,
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: the audience loved it.
- 1:08:28Speaker 14: Weird right, saying jokes because it's forced on them. Yeah,
- 1:08:31Speaker 14: because yeah, it's like, oh, it's supposed to be bad.
- 1:08:35Speaker 14: They really didn't want to say it right exactly.
- 1:08:38Speaker 8: So all you got to do with those dummies is
- 1:08:40Speaker 8: reframe it and then they're like, oh ha, that's great.
- 1:08:44Speaker 8: Uh So, yeah, gear's to the SNL audience. You're a
- 1:08:46Speaker 8: bunch of stuck up New York douches.
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: I also going back to the Rose the Rock, I
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: love the Rock.
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: I didn't even I didn't get that far. Oh really
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: alert from Menace by the way, another surprise guest. What
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: I mean, it's all over the internet now.
- 1:09:01Speaker 7: You think there's gonna be a Kevin Hart roast without
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: the Rock there.
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: But I mean, I'm not telling any of the jokes
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: that he said.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: But it was good.
- 1:09:08Speaker 8: In fact, one of the other people the earlier part
- 1:09:11Speaker 8: was like, boy, I wish the Rock was here because
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: I got some jokes for him, as of course before
- 1:09:14Speaker 8: the Rocks showed up, which managed it spoiled.
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: Yeah, totally eyes on the internet.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Now I'm not gonna watch it.
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: Gregory Weekend cheers and jeers.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Cheers to seeing Mario's brother, sister in law, and niece
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: for the first time in years. They spent the weekend
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: with us, had a barbecue it ruled.
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: It was absolutely perfect, and Princess Peas were there.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Correct Mario getting and we drank a thousand beers, had
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: the best food. It was a blast. I really have
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: a jeerless weekend, so my only jeer is so stupid.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: We thought, oh, you know, keep it festive. Let's watch
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: a movie called Mother's Day, which came out ten years ago.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: What a pile of garbage. It has some big stars
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: in it, Julia Roberts, Jennifer and Kate Hudson. It's literally
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: one of those movies where it seems they just turned
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: the cameras on and said, all right, guys, just go
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: do random stuff. Make him no plot.
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: It was so boring, and you selected it because it's
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: called Mother's Day.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: They were like, ah, let's put on something you know
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: that's appropriate for Mother's Day. Weekend because it was a
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: big deal to them.
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: This is where and I know, so DM, we like
- 1:10:20Speaker 8: to crap on Rotten Tomatoes. This is where the eight
- 1:10:21Speaker 8: percent on Rotten Tomatoes might have helped you.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Oh well we didn't. We didn't research the movie. We're like, oh, mothers,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: throw it on.
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: And Greg loves terrible movies, so you know it has.
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: To be ja.
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: Yeah, Jack's good. It doesn't make any sense to say
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: that's a terrible movie, yeah, Jackson.
- 1:10:37Speaker 7: Greg's taste of movies is what that bargain bin at
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: like Walmart used to be where they had the big
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: thing of like five.
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: Dollars movies, the movies for sale. They couldn't get rid
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: of them, so they put like a three dollars price
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: tag on it.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: But when we're sitting at home trying to throw on
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: a movie just for basically for the background, we're not
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: going online, Well you got burned by it. Well it's
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: a terrible yeah.
- 1:10:59Speaker 7: And they done this a lot.
- 1:11:00Speaker 9: Actually, they did it with the movie Valentine's Day and
- 1:11:03Speaker 9: the movie New Year's Eve because it's just the name
- 1:11:05Speaker 9: of the holiday. They threw a bunch of stars in it,
- 1:11:08Speaker 9: and they're the worst movies ever, because they want you
- 1:11:11Speaker 9: to turn it on for that holiday.
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: It worked Morgan weekend cheers and jeers.
- 1:11:16Speaker 13: So it was Vaughan's birthday of the weekend. None of
- 1:11:18Speaker 13: y'all showed up to his birthday party.
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: Birthday party. Nobody told me there was a birthday party.
- 1:11:24Speaker 13: Apparently it wasn't. Just me and him went out to
- 1:11:26Speaker 13: brunch on his and I will say we tried to
- 1:11:29Speaker 13: date v Now, No, I got a lot of messages like,
- 1:11:32Speaker 13: don't make out with him.
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: Haha, she just making her way through the Oh god.
- 1:11:38Speaker 13: I will say, though, hanging with Vaughn is kind of nice.
- 1:11:41Speaker 13: It's kind of like hanging with a girlfriend. We got
- 1:11:42Speaker 13: free drinks all day and all night. Well you don't
- 1:11:45Speaker 13: know how because usually being with the man kind of
- 1:11:48Speaker 13: so charming. But my real jeer or cheer excuse me,
- 1:11:51Speaker 13: is throwing up after drinking the best feeling in the world.
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: Did you do that a purpose? It is like I'm
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: just gonna throw up? Oh no, I wish I could, but.
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: I had the feeling.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: So it is.
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: We have an expert over here.
- 1:12:03Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, you two are the only people I
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: know who almost enjoy throwing up.
- 1:12:08Speaker 5: I yeah, so feel so thin.
- 1:12:10Speaker 13: Afterwards, I got all the junk out of my body
- 1:12:12Speaker 13: that I just listened myself with. I could start fresh
- 1:12:15Speaker 13: the next morning.
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: I agree.
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: If you're already like super noxious and you know it's coming,
- 1:12:19Speaker 7: it's better to get it out of the way and
- 1:12:21Speaker 7: almost force yourself and just get it over.
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: But like I wouldn't say, I'm like, wow, that was great.
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: Did you get to the to the bile point where
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: you're like puking, puking, puking, and then you get to
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: the yellow.
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: Stuff that's my favorite on your stomach.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Oh that's the best.
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: You know, you got it all out and then you
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: feel good. The best way to end the.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: Night, Morgan, you could do it after every meal.
- 1:12:42Speaker 13: If you only knew how many times I stuck my
- 1:12:44Speaker 13: finger down my throat I've tried. Don't listen to me, children,
- 1:12:48Speaker 13: My gears is to me. I'm so effing our word.
- 1:12:52Speaker 13: I guess because I've had my quote unquote new phone
- 1:12:55Speaker 13: over eight months now, right, could never hook it up
- 1:12:58Speaker 13: to my car bluetooth to play music this whole time.
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: I can figure it out, trying crazy over and.
- 1:13:04Speaker 13: Over, and then I just got a separate speaker to
- 1:13:07Speaker 13: play in my car.
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: Judging you.
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: Did you ever think to like maybe ask myself or
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: menace or somebody has any kind of like.
- 1:13:18Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 1:13:19Speaker 13: It's turns out, y'all. If you have the same issue
- 1:13:23Speaker 13: right now, don't do it while you're driving the car.
- 1:13:25Speaker 13: You have to be stopped in the car, parked, and
- 1:13:28Speaker 13: then your Bluetooth will pair.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: No one told me that says it right there, doesn't it.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: You must be.
- 1:13:36Speaker 7: Parked sometimes and this feature is unavailable while.
- 1:13:39Speaker 13: Okay, well my car is a little older. It doesn't
- 1:13:41Speaker 13: give me that warning. It just says cannot pair. And
- 1:13:43Speaker 13: then I finally got into pair yesterday.
- 1:13:45Speaker 5: What so do you hear me? Like blast of music?
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: But you went you went out and bought a Bluetooth
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: speaker the car.
- 1:13:52Speaker 13: It was one that Taco Bell gave us one time.
- 1:13:54Speaker 13: It's a really cool speaker, right, but I've used it
- 1:13:56Speaker 13: as my talk about good You only ever tried to
- 1:14:04Speaker 13: parrot while you were driving.
- 1:14:05Speaker 9: You never at any point when like, hold on, let
- 1:14:07Speaker 9: me figure this out for a.
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: Second before I get gone.
- 1:14:12Speaker 13: Yeah, in the car, I'm going getting somewhere.
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: I'm not wasting time in the car.
- 1:14:17Speaker 13: You know, I'm not going to sit in the car
- 1:14:19Speaker 13: before I go somewhere, or once I fiddle around.
- 1:14:22Speaker 7: Yeah, like, why eat breakfast before you leave the house?
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: Just bring your bowl of cereal in the car while
- 1:14:26Speaker 7: you're driving.
- 1:14:29Speaker 5: What's on the playlist lately?
- 1:14:32Speaker 13: New Isaiah was shot albums pretty good. I can't stop
- 1:14:34Speaker 13: listening to Kanye. I know that's bad.
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: I've been cleaning lately.
- 1:14:40Speaker 13: There's this country song that's like talks about text As.
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: I like, yeah, Ella Langley, that's who we.
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: Were talking about.
- 1:14:47Speaker 5: She's from the country song that talks about Texas. You
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: don't say she speaks to that one? Do they talk
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: about cold beer?
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: No?
- 1:14:57Speaker 13: That again, I'm getting into it all right out so
- 1:15:00Speaker 13: Perry of Bluetooth when they parked in the car.
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: It's a pro tip you guys. Welcome back, all right,
- 1:15:12Speaker 7: dumb ass Tyler, Were you waiting for me to ask
- 1:15:18Speaker 7: you where my money was on Friday?
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Now?
- 1:15:23Speaker 6: I remembered to bring it. I just remember to actually give.
- 1:15:27Speaker 8: It to you.
- 1:15:28Speaker 7: So that that's when I fronted Morgan one thousand dollars
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: for her rent that he said that he was So
- 1:15:33Speaker 7: I'm just trying to be I'm trying to be a
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: good guy, you know what I mean. I don't have
- 1:15:35Speaker 7: to break any legs, you know, yea, you don't.
- 1:15:40Speaker 5: We don't want to.
- 1:15:41Speaker 7: Send the muscle out, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:15:43Speaker 5: I'm a nice guy.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Yeah, well.
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: That counted out the.
- 1:15:52Speaker 7: Envelope special Yeah, okay, cool, all right?
- 1:15:56Speaker 5: You know what, And I like he put I like
- 1:15:58Speaker 5: the fact that he put the bills.
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: On there this time.
- 1:16:01Speaker 6: I've heard Break's comment about that. I was like, well,
- 1:16:03Speaker 6: but let's fix that's what builds.
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: What bills do you have?
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: Like?
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: What denominations?
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Fifty?
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: Sorry?
- 1:16:10Speaker 7: Two down?
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: Halfway?
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: Two down?
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: Heck yeah, well, good on you for doing the right Now,
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: I gotta give you one of your cards back hold on.
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: Good? Oh no, okay, that's kind of like a mistress's
- 1:16:23Speaker 5: which one do you want back? Your hernandez or? Oh
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: I wish this could be one of those psychological tricks though.
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: Oh that's how I'm thinking too. I'm like, I'm gonna
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: tell him what I want.
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: Yeah, keep it exactly. I'll take the Connor Griffin went
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: back the Connor Griffin one. Yeah, okay, well here's Michael Vick.
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: You know, yeah, did you get what you wanted?
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: This is the one I actually wanted.
- 1:16:46Speaker 7: I figured he always wears that Michael vic jersey.
- 1:16:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I have because he loves dogs so much. Oh, yeah,
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: very much? Is it what ironic? I'm assuming like you're not.
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: You weren't actually a Falcons fan.
- 1:16:58Speaker 6: Ben Falcons fan since he got after back in two
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: thousand and one, and I stuck with it ever since.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: The whole dog fighting thing.
- 1:17:03Speaker 6: So people when I was in high school, they knew
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: that I was Falcony. They would call me a dog
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: killer all the time. I didn't do anything. It's not
- 1:17:14Speaker 6: my fault.
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: Were you still wearing the jersey?
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: No, I would wear a different Falcons jersey just because
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: they knew I rooted for him. They'd be like, oh,
- 1:17:20Speaker 6: you're a dog killer.
- 1:17:21Speaker 7: While that whole thing was playing out, you weren't wearing
- 1:17:23Speaker 7: the jersey around, right.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Not his jersey specific.
- 1:17:26Speaker 5: Yeah. That things stayed buried in my closet for a
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: very very long time.
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: I was curious about, how like, because you didn't live
- 1:17:35Speaker 8: in Atlanta at any time?
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Right, No, I never have.
- 1:17:37Speaker 8: I was curious about how like Randy was a Packers fan,
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: if you we recall, and he was nowhere near Green
- 1:17:41Speaker 8: Bay's entire life.
- 1:17:42Speaker 6: Yeah, so mine was. There was no pro team around
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: where I was growing up. So I'm like, okay, just
- 1:17:49Speaker 6: kind of got into football. And then Michael Vick was
- 1:17:51Speaker 6: lighting it up in college. I'm like, that guy's really cool.
- 1:17:53Speaker 6: I'll follow wherever he goes. I was like nine or
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: ten at.
- 1:17:57Speaker 7: The time, so that makes sense. All right, Well, thank you, Tyler,
- 1:18:01Speaker 7: no problem, and I appreciate eight seven seven forty four.
- 1:18:03Speaker 7: Woody sent us a text over to two to nine
- 1:18:06Speaker 7: eight seven. Yeah, speaking of text, we never got to
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: Sea Bass because he wasn't around when we announced Sea
- 1:18:13Speaker 7: Bass's text ban right for being able to reply to
- 1:18:17Speaker 7: the text messages. And yeah, so so you know this
- 1:18:21Speaker 7: is a uh yeah, he's he's pretending to yawn.
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: He doesn't care. Yeah, that's fine. Well if he doesn't care,
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: it's fine. Yeah. It was, it was, it was gonna be.
- 1:18:31Speaker 5: It was gonna be.
- 1:18:31Speaker 7: It was gonna be a temporary ban.
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: I will say this movie is until we had yet
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: another conversation.
- 1:18:37Speaker 8: This is not surprising you guys that often do things
- 1:18:39Speaker 8: that shoot yourself in the foot, cut off your nose
- 1:18:42Speaker 8: to spite your face. Oh yeah, uh yeah, Because I
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: mean you're gonna now what you're gonna see what you're
- 1:18:46Speaker 8: gonna see and well, what more importantly, what the audience
- 1:18:49Speaker 8: is gonna see is you're engagement with the show is
- 1:18:51Speaker 8: gonna drop dramatically. As I said last time, the vast
- 1:18:55Speaker 8: majority of what I send back is positive or just affirmations,
- 1:18:59Speaker 8: just like a thank you, fast majority.
- 1:19:00Speaker 5: Don't don't mean really because I read them. Oh it's true,
- 1:19:04Speaker 5: it's true.
- 1:19:05Speaker 8: I'm not gonna say that those majority are positive, positive
- 1:19:08Speaker 8: or just like thank you or gotcha or man, that's
- 1:19:10Speaker 8: a good idea.
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: Vast majority.
- 1:19:12Speaker 7: I'm not gonna I'm not gonna say that's untrue.
- 1:19:15Speaker 5: I can't confirm that.
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: I mean, because you just read the ones that come
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: back negative.
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: Right, Yeah, you're just that's the fallacy of cherry picking.
- 1:19:21Speaker 8: Uh so you're getting cutting off your nose, your face,
- 1:19:26Speaker 8: and if a few of them, if some people don't
- 1:19:28Speaker 8: have a good sense of humor, and.
- 1:19:29Speaker 7: So you're making an argument that you're doing us good.
- 1:19:33Speaker 7: Oh yes, then if that is your intent. And this
- 1:19:38Speaker 7: is where I this, this, this is where I have
- 1:19:40Speaker 7: the problem. The people who are dicks, Fine, I don't
- 1:19:43Speaker 7: care what you say to those people.
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: The people who are like texting.
- 1:19:46Speaker 7: In just to be you know, a holes, Fine, we
- 1:19:49Speaker 7: do that with the gregory immaturity plies or the or
- 1:19:52Speaker 7: the crossroads. It's the people who aren't even being dicks
- 1:19:56Speaker 7: that you are nasty to see.
- 1:19:59Speaker 8: That's what That's what I I don't think I'm being nasty.
- 1:20:01Speaker 8: I'm being I'm being playful, joking, little teasy. Maybe it's
- 1:20:06Speaker 8: it's it's called like like negging with girls. I'm never nasty.
- 1:20:10Speaker 8: I'm not nasty, the playful and teasing at the at
- 1:20:12Speaker 8: the worst.
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: But the problem is people don't know your tone.
- 1:20:17Speaker 5: You are correct. Some people are very stupid. There are
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: a couple of things.
- 1:20:20Speaker 7: So while I'm being fair to you, and I do
- 1:20:22Speaker 7: agree that a lot of stuff that you write back
- 1:20:24Speaker 7: it's fine, and it's and it's help form and those
- 1:20:29Speaker 7: other things like I don't like like if if somebody
- 1:20:31Speaker 7: comes into your restaurant and they go, oh, hey guys,
- 1:20:34Speaker 7: blah blah blah blah blah, and yeah, dumb decision on
- 1:20:37Speaker 7: ordering that.
- 1:20:37Speaker 5: Yeah, like what Dick's last resort. It's hilarious. Okay, well
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: it's you know, that's.
- 1:20:43Speaker 15: And it's also cute if given in the rights, you know,
- 1:20:45Speaker 15: my f look everything the other I was laughing, but
- 1:20:50Speaker 15: I did have a I did have beef with and
- 1:20:53Speaker 15: I agreed with them. Is that I believe, and we've
- 1:20:55Speaker 15: talked about this numerous times, that you should be signing
- 1:20:59Speaker 15: those texts.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: Right, which seems to be impossible because Menace, it's not
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: that hard.
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: Menace.
- 1:21:04Speaker 7: His beef is that there are things that get sent in.
- 1:21:07Speaker 7: We'll just use him as the example about Menace that
- 1:21:10Speaker 7: you reply to and you don't sign it well, and
- 1:21:12Speaker 7: then people think it's Menace writing back.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: And a lot of times Menace has to write them back.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: You're not arguing with me, you're arguing with Seabat.
- 1:21:19Speaker 8: Typically those are not negative, and those and like and
- 1:21:21Speaker 8: I'll wait too if I if I see, like, Menace,
- 1:21:23Speaker 8: that was so funny, I'll wait like a fifteen twenty
- 1:21:25Speaker 8: minutes where I know Menace isn't seeing it or isn't
- 1:21:27Speaker 8: looking now, I might just say thanks or nice or
- 1:21:30Speaker 8: something like that. Again, because that's the vast majority of
- 1:21:32Speaker 8: my replies are simply positive and encouraging engagement. So this
- 1:21:36Speaker 8: is more of a penalty for you, the audience than
- 1:21:37Speaker 8: it is for me.
- 1:21:40Speaker 5: I think we're the.
- 1:21:42Speaker 8: Only show forgotten about the show literally, you know, to
- 1:21:45Speaker 8: be quite honest, our writings will drop because that people
- 1:21:47Speaker 8: think the show doesn't care about them.
- 1:21:49Speaker 5: Mean, why why do you refuse to sign your text?
- 1:21:52Speaker 5: And why do you continue to write in thirty person? Ah?
- 1:21:55Speaker 8: Well because sometimes what I'm saying isn't a personal opinion.
- 1:21:57Speaker 8: It's just a fact about the universe. So well that's
- 1:22:00Speaker 8: more of a.
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: But why don't you You.
- 1:22:06Speaker 8: Know, it just seems more profound when there's not, when
- 1:22:10Speaker 8: there's like it's a fact.
- 1:22:11Speaker 5: But I think it's because you you want it to
- 1:22:14Speaker 5: look like somebody is agreeing with you, so somebody is
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: saying it on your behalf as opposed to you.
- 1:22:17Speaker 8: Just a lot of those things are just simply facts
- 1:22:19Speaker 8: of the universe, not opinions.
- 1:22:20Speaker 5: So if they are, let people know that it's your fact.
- 1:22:23Speaker 5: But that's not there's no such thing your opinion. Okay,
- 1:22:26Speaker 5: we'll see that's not but that's not that's not a
- 1:22:28Speaker 5: fact and it's an opinion. But I do see what
- 1:22:30Speaker 5: you're saying to a degree, and maybe you'll have like
- 1:22:32Speaker 5: a little s there you go, that's a good I
- 1:22:37Speaker 5: can't dog because people think it's Greg gry.
- 1:22:39Speaker 8: But you do like a you can do a big
- 1:22:40Speaker 8: ass samy Again, if if if I ever come back,
- 1:22:43Speaker 8: which maybe I won't come back.
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: Look, you guys, you know it was more it was
- 1:22:48Speaker 7: more like, all right, man, you know, because we've we've
- 1:22:50Speaker 7: had the conversation, so maybe a little time out could
- 1:22:52Speaker 7: be good, so we can, you know, realign to make
- 1:22:55Speaker 7: sure that everybody's clear that people who are being nice
- 1:22:57Speaker 7: and fine, we're not We're not going to be at back.
- 1:23:00Speaker 7: That's unnecessary, that's dumb.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: That is very necessary.
- 1:23:05Speaker 5: Oh that segment was amazing. Really, you were amazed by it.
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: That's so helpful. Really, sorry, my bad man.
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: Yeah, which, by the way, was said in a cute
- 1:23:18Speaker 8: and funny way. Yeah, here's a response. This is from
- 1:23:23Speaker 8: somebody on Instagram. It's pretty funny what instagram like just
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: decides to hide like hidden by Instagram.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: And then make some innocuous comment.
- 1:23:34Speaker 8: Those things get hidden and then the like terrible racial
- 1:23:36Speaker 8: slury gets through.
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: Yeah right, like these other ones made him, but this
- 1:23:40Speaker 5: one didn't.
- 1:23:41Speaker 7: Okay, uh hoy, what do the show listening to the
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: podcast hearing what you get a what I'm just gonna
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: read forbid him?
- 1:23:48Speaker 5: What you get?
- 1:23:49Speaker 7: A butt hurt about the way Sea Bass response to people,
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: you are literally a soft little bach woody. The opening
- 1:23:57Speaker 7: credits of your show say insensitivity in sensitive training for
- 1:24:01Speaker 7: a politically correct world. Nobody embodies that more than Sea Bass,
- 1:24:06Speaker 7: and you are a bunch of small soft snowflakes talking
- 1:24:09Speaker 7: about our listeners are getting butt hurt and offended.
- 1:24:14Speaker 5: Hopefully that was a space of text, all right.
- 1:24:16Speaker 7: Sea Bass contributes about eighty percent of the entertainment to
- 1:24:20Speaker 7: that show. If he went to another show, your show
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: would suck.
- 1:24:23Speaker 8: Let us not get personal about this, no matter how accurate.
- 1:24:26Speaker 7: Yes, you probably have cart mark license, so he wouldn't
- 1:24:32Speaker 7: be able to take that In probably some of his
- 1:24:34Speaker 7: other segments.
- 1:24:34Speaker 5: You can always change the names, but he provides.
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: The entertainment to the show. What the hell does what
- 1:24:40Speaker 7: he provide?
- 1:24:40Speaker 5: We're being nasty.
- 1:24:42Speaker 7: A stupid Monday segment about cheers and gears and love that.
- 1:24:47Speaker 7: That's the stupidest segment on the show and clearly just
- 1:24:50Speaker 7: a time filler because you don't have anything else to
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: contribute to do with execution. You are literally a contradiction
- 1:24:57Speaker 7: of what you claim your show to be and the
- 1:24:58Speaker 7: only one one authentic as Sea Bass. But of course
- 1:25:03Speaker 7: you snowflakes will chalk this up and say that this
- 1:25:05Speaker 7: is his burner account and the first.
- 1:25:07Speaker 16: Uh.
- 1:25:08Speaker 7: The first to comment was loll Sea bass is that
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: you see?
- 1:25:11Speaker 8: That is the That's a perfect example of something I
- 1:25:13Speaker 8: wouldn't write because it's not pithy and cute and lovable
- 1:25:17Speaker 8: and sweet.
- 1:25:18Speaker 5: Uh And those are the words that come to mind.
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:25:20Speaker 7: Yeah, and again, I don't care if people are nasty
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: to people who are not. If if it's nastiness is
- 1:25:27Speaker 7: a response to nastiness, I'm okay with that. It's when
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: people are not being nasty and they're participating the show
- 1:25:33Speaker 7: as we ask them to do, and they get something
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: nasty or not nice in return from the show at
- 1:25:39Speaker 7: a little smarmy. I, as the person who is in
- 1:25:42Speaker 7: charge of, you know, the show, I don't.
- 1:25:44Speaker 5: Like that, right, And I'm not saying like that.
- 1:25:46Speaker 7: It's because because it's unearned, like you always say. Uh,
- 1:25:49Speaker 7: you know, we talked about theality. It's it's the punching down.
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: That's punching down first off, because they didn't start it.
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: I hate punching. It's not punching down. It's disproportional.
- 1:25:57Speaker 8: I hate the term punching down because it's an excuse
- 1:25:59Speaker 8: for like just getting saying certain people can't be joked
- 1:26:02Speaker 8: about however, but it is disproportional. But I would I
- 1:26:05Speaker 8: would argue that it is again you're you're misreading my tone,
- 1:26:08Speaker 8: which some could say is my fault because my tone
- 1:26:09Speaker 8: should be super clear.
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: True, some would, but no one would know it that
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: it was your tone because you didn't sign it.
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: And I will say that Sea Bass is responsible for
- 1:26:19Speaker 7: a lot of segments and a lot of different things,
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: and he does a really great jobs.
- 1:26:23Speaker 5: He's nothing banned from that. That's not the argument. That
- 1:26:25Speaker 5: is not the argument.
- 1:26:26Speaker 6: No.
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: I will also say that everybody on the show has different,
- 1:26:31Speaker 7: different responsibilities Sea Basses, and it's it's it's by creation,
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: it's set up this way. His only job is to
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: come up with segments.
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: Do the things that amuse me. That's it.
- 1:26:42Speaker 7: He's got the best job of anybody in this room.
- 1:26:44Speaker 5: And couldn't you say replying to those texts amuses me?
- 1:26:49Speaker 7: But so yes, like so literally, his only job is
- 1:26:52Speaker 7: to come to the table with things that he thinks
- 1:26:55Speaker 7: would be a fun segment. That's it. Yeah, that's it.
- 1:26:58Speaker 7: I don't even make him be That's why he's like
- 1:27:00Speaker 7: where a Sea Bass. I only say, hey, man, I
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: really need you for this segment. When we send him
- 1:27:05Speaker 7: the schedule what we want to do. We said, I
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: need you for this segments. He's free to be a
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: part of as much or as little as he wants.
- 1:27:10Speaker 7: It's not like I'm off, you know, you know, playing
- 1:27:12Speaker 7: a four square.
- 1:27:13Speaker 8: I'm doing you know, I'm editing, like right now, I
- 1:27:15Speaker 8: was editing audio for something we're gonna be doing later
- 1:27:16Speaker 8: in the week.
- 1:27:17Speaker 12: Right.
- 1:27:17Speaker 7: But the point, the point is like, yes, he is
- 1:27:20Speaker 7: good at his job, but that is literally his job
- 1:27:22Speaker 7: is to create these segments for the show. That's that's
- 1:27:25Speaker 7: his role.
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: If somebody else on the Texas his role is is
- 1:27:29Speaker 5: for listeners to hate on. I mean, you know, it's
- 1:27:32Speaker 5: you know, that's one could argue.
- 1:27:33Speaker 8: That, yea, one could argue, I'm a boogeyman that you know,
- 1:27:36Speaker 8: it's you shoot the messenger sort of thing.
- 1:27:38Speaker 5: And if I'm the messenger, then so then I'm your martyr.
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: Yeah, he's you know, the shows, he's a whole thing.
- 1:27:45Speaker 5: Uh huh, He's a whole thing.
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: Yeah, Seed Bess is just the show's heel.
- 1:27:49Speaker 5: He is there for.
- 1:27:50Speaker 7: I don't I don't see I don't I don't necessarily
- 1:27:52Speaker 7: see it that way. I don't I don't think he's
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: here to be hated on.
- 1:27:57Speaker 5: No, no, no.
- 1:27:57Speaker 8: For instance, it just happened we were making fun of Timeler,
- 1:28:00Speaker 8: as we often do, and Menace chuckled out loud, and
- 1:28:04Speaker 8: Tyler yelled at Sea Bass shut up, Sea Bass bulb
- 1:28:08Speaker 8: And it was Menace who was laughing the whole time.
- 1:28:10Speaker 8: But he didn't yell at Menace because that's not who
- 1:28:12Speaker 8: the heel or the villain is.
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that's fair. And I'm here sings and arrows. See, yeah,
- 1:28:22Speaker 5: this is the part of the arms verbal ju JITs.
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:25Speaker 4: I would say, like eighty percent of the hate is
- 1:28:27Speaker 4: just from this room, not the listeners.
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: You if it gives you, if if hating on me
- 1:28:32Speaker 5: makes you feel better, then feel.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: Free again harder.
- 1:28:36Speaker 7: Yeah, well, okay, I agree, So full disclosure, right, This
- 1:28:40Speaker 7: is uh, this is kind of what happened in the
- 1:28:42Speaker 7: whole conversation about like how do we work things around here?
- 1:28:45Speaker 7: Because Sea Bass didn't want to be a part of
- 1:28:47Speaker 7: things he didn't want to be a part of and
- 1:28:49Speaker 7: also a little bit of Sea Bass went a long
- 1:28:52Speaker 7: way for certain people in this room, and so it
- 1:28:55Speaker 7: was a way to like kind of accomplish two things
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: at the same time, like have him know I have
- 1:29:00Speaker 7: to be in here and part of things he didn't
- 1:29:02Speaker 7: want to be a part.
- 1:29:03Speaker 4: Of, and give certain people in this room a little
- 1:29:05Speaker 4: break from Sea Bass.
- 1:29:06Speaker 5: So it worked out. I think that's a smart move, right,
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: thank you great?
- 1:29:10Speaker 7: And you wonder what is what he contribute? That's what
- 1:29:13Speaker 7: his contribution. I take a problem that exists and exactly
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: and I try to figure out because that's my.
- 1:29:18Speaker 5: Role, save god. A good business man. That's right, That's
- 1:29:22Speaker 5: that's right.
- 1:29:23Speaker 7: All right, We're gonna take a quick a quick break
- 1:29:28Speaker 7: more what he shows next?
- 1:29:29Speaker 5: Hang up, so school snip Jeff G.
- 1:29:35Speaker 7: Yo, what up? Jeff g what's happening?
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: Happy Monday, Woody Show.
- 1:29:38Speaker 17: The Ducks even up their series with the Golden Nights
- 1:29:41Speaker 17: last night. Final score four to three. Series tied to two.
- 1:29:50Speaker 17: Game number five in Vegas tomorrow. Baseball Dodgers lost two
- 1:29:53Speaker 17: out of three to the Braves. Dodgers and Giants tonight
- 1:29:56Speaker 17: at Dodger Stadium. It's Replica World Series Trophy Night. Angels
- 1:30:01Speaker 17: lost two out of three in Toronto this weekend. They're
- 1:30:03Speaker 17: in Cleveland today at three ten. WNBA Sparks got blown
- 1:30:06Speaker 17: out by the Aces in their season debut NBA Playoffs
- 1:30:09Speaker 17: winby got ejected. Yesterday, t Wolves even up their series
- 1:30:12Speaker 17: with the Spurs, and then Nick swept the seventy six ers,
- 1:30:16Speaker 17: and as you can tell by this audio from a
- 1:30:18Speaker 17: very famous Philly sports streamer, Philly fans are taking it.
- 1:30:21Speaker 5: Well, what are you doing? I love it?
- 1:30:28Speaker 17: Suck at Philly Speaker sweeps. Lakers are trying to avoid
- 1:30:32Speaker 17: getting swept.
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: Today.
- 1:30:33Speaker 17: Woodies Show Game four at Crypto dot com Arena had
- 1:30:36Speaker 17: seven thirty OKAC favored by ten and a half.
- 1:30:39Speaker 5: Here is Lakers coach JJ Reddick.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: They're a terrific basketball team. I said that before the series.
- 1:30:44Speaker 5: Been very impressed, so I think we can beat them.
- 1:30:46Speaker 5: JJ is clearly smoking that good stuff.
- 1:30:48Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:30:48Speaker 17: Lakers could beat this team with Luca, but without Luca
- 1:30:52Speaker 17: not so much. Man. And finally, this morning, NBA Draft
- 1:30:55Speaker 17: lottery was yesterday. Wizards got the number one pick, then
- 1:30:57Speaker 17: the Jazz, Grizzlies and Bowls, and then the Clippers got
- 1:31:01Speaker 17: the number five pick thanks to their trade with the
- 1:31:03Speaker 17: Pacers earlier this year.
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: I'm JEFFG.
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: And that's your.
- 1:31:05Speaker 5: SoCal sports all right, Jeff.
- 1:31:12Speaker 13: Show.
- 1:31:15Speaker 4: Alright, let's see we got to some judge my baby
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: all Right, it's been a minute.
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: It's been way too long.
- 1:31:28Speaker 7: Yeah, So here we go. Greg says babies aren't cute
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: by accident. Our brains are basically wired to fall for them.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: Yes, with the big eyes.
- 1:31:39Speaker 7: Infants share a specific look. Big eyes, round cheeks, tiny noses,
- 1:31:43Speaker 7: and oversized heads. Those features automatically trigger our caregiving instincts
- 1:31:49Speaker 7: before we even consciously think about it.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: And it's not just with humans, right, it is.
- 1:31:53Speaker 7: Bottom line, cute baby faces flip a mental switch that
- 1:31:56Speaker 7: makes us want to protect, comfort, and care for them.
- 1:31:59Speaker 7: Evolution built this response because human babies are extremely helpless
- 1:32:03Speaker 7: and need lots of adult attention to survive.
- 1:32:06Speaker 5: Yeah, and Greg, like you said, like even Grogu, you know,
- 1:32:09Speaker 5: like baby, like baby Yoda, like the cutest thing ever,
- 1:32:12Speaker 5: giant eyes.
- 1:32:15Speaker 7: All right, So it's been a minute since we've had
- 1:32:17Speaker 7: judge my baby. And this is where we've asked parents. Hey,
- 1:32:21Speaker 7: if you're on the fence and you want an honest
- 1:32:23Speaker 7: opinion if you have a cute kid or not, because
- 1:32:25Speaker 7: not all kids are cute, they really are. Some kids
- 1:32:28Speaker 7: are strange looking.
- 1:32:30Speaker 5: Right, like grandfather's.
- 1:32:31Speaker 7: But before you go around showing these pictures to everybody,
- 1:32:34Speaker 7: don't you want to know, like yeah, Like if if
- 1:32:37Speaker 7: you've been told by somebody objective, hey, this kid's pretty cute,
- 1:32:41Speaker 7: then by all means fine. I would still say wait
- 1:32:45Speaker 7: till somebody asks. If they say, oh, so, how's the family,
- 1:32:50Speaker 7: they're being nice? If they say how are the kids?
- 1:32:53Speaker 7: They're being nice? It doesn't mean immediately go to your phone, Man,
- 1:32:56Speaker 7: is that uncomfortable? And go oh and they start, you know,
- 1:32:59Speaker 7: put their password into their phone and you, oh, God,
- 1:33:02Speaker 7: here comes the picture.
- 1:33:03Speaker 5: Oh well, we'll call it big guar gut.
- 1:33:08Speaker 7: Right, But if you're going to be shown around these photos,
- 1:33:10Speaker 7: at least you should know if the kid's a good
- 1:33:13Speaker 7: looking kid or not. Don't just be fool because you're
- 1:33:15Speaker 7: the parents. Of course you think.
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: Your kids are cute, and you should.
- 1:33:18Speaker 7: If you want that unfiltered, honest opinion, send us the pictures.
- 1:33:24Speaker 7: We'll be the judge of that, all right, Which somebody did?
- 1:33:27Speaker 7: Jenna sends us email, Hi Woody Show. I heard Greg
- 1:33:32Speaker 7: said there's no such thing as a cute newborn. I
- 1:33:34Speaker 7: totally get it, and honest to God, would be the
- 1:33:38Speaker 7: first to say mine wasn't cute if I genuinely thought
- 1:33:40Speaker 7: he wasn't. Just want to know what you guys think.
- 1:33:44Speaker 7: Thanks me love. Now this is uh, this is Jenna's baby. Ready, Greg,
- 1:33:49Speaker 7: I'm ready, I'm gonna get your first reading.
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: Okay, this is him as a newborn, right, you know what,
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: he still has that kind of what I would call
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: like the white goop after glow, you know, like when
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: babies come out they're covered in gross.
- 1:34:07Speaker 5: Would you say this is a cute baby?
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: I would? You would? I would?
- 1:34:10Speaker 16: I know.
- 1:34:11Speaker 5: Here's another picture, all.
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: Right, he he swamped down.
- 1:34:17Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: Did he have a late shift at the factory? Needs
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: a whiskey?
- 1:34:23Speaker 5: I asked.
- 1:34:24Speaker 7: I asked Jenna if we could post these photos, and
- 1:34:28Speaker 7: she said yes, okay, and so we'll get the post
- 1:34:31Speaker 7: together for a judge my baby, like an official judge
- 1:34:34Speaker 7: my baby. Were you, guys, the audience, We ask you
- 1:34:36Speaker 7: to judge this baby on a baby scale of one
- 1:34:39Speaker 7: to ten. One means fugly, ten means really cute kid,
- 1:34:43Speaker 7: and then you know, give some Greg said, though, this
- 1:34:46Speaker 7: kid just get off his late shift of the factory.
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: Yeah, like he was. I didn't know you could swan
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: down so quickly. Yeah, because he was a newborn, because
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: he was shockingly.
- 1:34:55Speaker 7: Jenna sent us the email and she's looking for an
- 1:34:57Speaker 7: honest opinion, so God forbid, she starts going around showing
- 1:34:59Speaker 7: pictures this kid, not really knowing the truth.
- 1:35:02Speaker 5: Or at least the wrong picture.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: Yes, maybe there's a different one that we're not seeing
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: that much better than that second one.
- 1:35:08Speaker 7: Yeah, So we'll get the post together and I'll let
- 1:35:11Speaker 7: you know when it's on our Instagram and then and
- 1:35:13Speaker 7: then we can go from there.
- 1:35:14Speaker 5: As a newborn, I would give him like an eight. Yeah.
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: Really, his head is way too big for his body.
- 1:35:22Speaker 4: And it's like, bro, put a T shirt on your
- 1:35:24Speaker 4: man booth and hero.
- 1:35:26Speaker 5: And what about that second photo?
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: Like a different kid, different, like a three? Wow, Like
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: he had that like bags under his eyes, that baby something. Yeah,
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: he looked angry, he looked already. He's way too young
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: to be that jaded already, like another day of work.
- 1:35:48Speaker 5: Your first one was.
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: What an eight? Eight? Eight for a newborn? I mean
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: I was tempted to even say nine, because I very
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: hard to please with newborns.
- 1:35:57Speaker 5: They're just not cute.
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: They usually look like alien.
- 1:36:00Speaker 7: That average is that to what a five point five?
- 1:36:02Speaker 5: My math correctly something like that. Let's see that second photo.
- 1:36:08Speaker 7: Yeah, I thought I did my math right, I was quick.
- 1:36:10Speaker 7: Never really know I can do it. I'll just know
- 1:36:13Speaker 7: when the post is ready. Then you guys can start
- 1:36:15Speaker 7: checking out now. If you want to know about your kid,
- 1:36:19Speaker 7: send us an email email at the Woodieshow dot com.

- 1:36:35Speaker 7: work on their personality, right, send us an email email
- 1:36:38Speaker 7: at the Woodieshow dot com.
- 1:36:39Speaker 4: The Woodie Show, Wait, we'll be right there.
- 1:36:44Speaker 7: You have this giant load.
- 1:36:46Speaker 5: It's too big and I'm not laughing. The Woodie Show.
- 1:36:50Speaker 7: We were talking recently about some of the dumb things
- 1:36:54Speaker 7: that teachers have heard students say, and when you're a parent,
- 1:36:58Speaker 7: that's like every day like kids will say or do
- 1:37:02Speaker 7: something really dumb. But I think every parents have this
- 1:37:05Speaker 7: oh my god, I raised an idiot moment. Yeah, you
- 1:37:08Speaker 7: get that feeling at least once like you'll be doing fine,
- 1:37:11Speaker 7: everything seems normal, and then you see your kid do
- 1:37:14Speaker 7: something stupid and you.
- 1:37:15Speaker 5: Think god, I raised an idiot.
- 1:37:17Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 1:37:17Speaker 5: I feel to take care of those things for the
- 1:37:18Speaker 5: rest of my life.
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:37:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:37:21Speaker 7: So parents were asked and we're gonna make this into
- 1:37:26Speaker 7: one of those you know, last man standing questions and
- 1:37:30Speaker 7: someone wi won a prize, you know, by sharing their story.
- 1:37:34Speaker 7: So be thinking as a parent, like what what is yours?
- 1:37:37Speaker 7: What was your eye raised an idiot?
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: Moment?
- 1:37:39Speaker 7: Like, oh my god, I'll give you an example. My
- 1:37:43Speaker 7: my uncle we went over to his house.
- 1:37:45Speaker 5: I was an adult at this point.
- 1:37:47Speaker 7: But it's my cousins who are my age, maybe a
- 1:37:51Speaker 7: couple of years younger. And they're in the backyard and
- 1:37:55Speaker 7: these are these are brothers, okay, and one is holding
- 1:37:59Speaker 7: a can on top of his head. The other one
- 1:38:01Speaker 7: is standing about fifty feet away with a baby.
- 1:38:03Speaker 5: Gun time. Who's their father? My uncle?
- 1:38:07Speaker 7: Rick goes, oh god, ck, yelling at him.
- 1:38:12Speaker 5: Like what are you doing?
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: How old were they at the time?
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:38:14Speaker 7: Uh thirty five?
- 1:38:17Speaker 4: Oh okay, actual, good shot, you're good.
- 1:38:21Speaker 5: He have his eyes closed, come.
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: On, yeah, yeah. Was he wearing goggles?
- 1:38:24Speaker 7: No, no, just standing in the backyard holding his holding
- 1:38:28Speaker 7: his beer can on his head. And his brother is
- 1:38:32Speaker 7: standing about fifty feet away.
- 1:38:33Speaker 5: Which is amazing. You want to make sure you're drunk,
- 1:38:35Speaker 5: do it?
- 1:38:36Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:38:36Speaker 5: Well, Greg, did you and your brother used to throw
- 1:38:38Speaker 5: like knives or.
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: Knives and then I cut his hand and he was
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: pissed and tell tattled on me, and I thought, well,
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: we were throwing knives at each other.
- 1:38:47Speaker 5: Do you think it was gonna happen?
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: Right? And this does sound like something I would do,
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: to be honest, Oh my god, like show off your gun.
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: You're like, oh, check out my bb gun even though
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: I'm thirty five, and I'm gonna shoot one off your head.
- 1:38:59Speaker 7: This parent said as my son, while wearing his baseball
- 1:39:02Speaker 7: hat backwards, used his hand to block out the sun
- 1:39:05Speaker 7: while he was driving.
- 1:39:07Speaker 5: I've seen that's broke. I know what you're apparently, what
- 1:39:11Speaker 5: do you what are you doing? What did I raise?
- 1:39:14Speaker 7: According to my mom, I once jammed a piece of
- 1:39:16Speaker 7: toast into the VHS player because I wanted to see
- 1:39:18Speaker 7: how bread was made.
- 1:39:20Speaker 5: But I guess the little kid.
- 1:39:21Speaker 7: Little kids say really dumb things, you know, but like
- 1:39:23Speaker 7: it's it's when they get older, I'll get okay.
- 1:39:26Speaker 5: So my more recent example, I might have mentioned this
- 1:39:28Speaker 5: on the year.
- 1:39:29Speaker 7: I think I did, as I was having a conversation
- 1:39:31Speaker 7: like a good father son conversation with my son about
- 1:39:34Speaker 7: time management responsibilities. And you know, he's asking to do
- 1:39:37Speaker 7: these different things, like he wants to drive, right, which
- 1:39:41Speaker 7: is great because so many kids his age have no
- 1:39:43Speaker 7: interest in driving, which is shock at We couldn't wait
- 1:39:46Speaker 7: to drive, right, But he really wants to drive. And
- 1:39:50Speaker 7: I go, look, man, before I give you any additional responsibilities,
- 1:39:55Speaker 7: you got to show that you could be responsible for
- 1:39:56Speaker 7: the things that I already have you responsible for homework,
- 1:40:00Speaker 7: a signon studying, laundry, keeping your room clean, things like this, right,
- 1:40:04Speaker 7: And he goes, bruh, quote bruh. What is driving had
- 1:40:09Speaker 7: to do with responsibility?
- 1:40:11Speaker 5: And I knew right there. I'm like, this is the
- 1:40:13Speaker 5: end of the conversation for now.
- 1:40:15Speaker 19: Back to painting the fence, right right, so right, He's
- 1:40:22Speaker 19: very sweet, but I was like, dude, if you have to,
- 1:40:25Speaker 19: if you say that to me, how can I possibly
- 1:40:27Speaker 19: even entertain the idea of letting you drive.
- 1:40:30Speaker 5: You just talked yourself right out of the worst response.
- 1:40:33Speaker 1: That very recent example where he spilled stain all the
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: way from one house to another, just dripping everywhere.
- 1:40:41Speaker 5: Yeah, can't you put your hand?
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: That was pretty.
- 1:40:46Speaker 7: We got my son a flight home from college for Christmas.
- 1:40:49Speaker 7: He missed the flight because he couldn't find Expedia Airlines.
- 1:40:55Speaker 5: I can see that happening.
- 1:40:56Speaker 7: Yeah, he took my boat out to fish on the
- 1:40:58Speaker 7: lake and realized it had water on the bottom. He
- 1:41:01Speaker 7: removed the drain plug to let the water out while
- 1:41:04Speaker 7: he was in the middle of the lake.
- 1:41:06Speaker 5: It's not He's gonna die.
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: I'm not smart.
- 1:41:11Speaker 7: Yeah, So, uh, parents, this is for you. We got
- 1:41:14Speaker 7: the phones open eight seven seven forty four, Woody at
- 1:41:18Speaker 7: eight seven seven forty four, Woody, call in and tell
- 1:41:21Speaker 7: us what your I raised an idiot moment has been.
- 1:41:24Speaker 5: Maybe the kid's little, maybe the kid's.
- 1:41:26Speaker 7: Older now, and you can look back and laugh.
- 1:41:29Speaker 8: I think I've told the story where we had a
- 1:41:31Speaker 8: during the summer we would take female roommates at the
- 1:41:33Speaker 8: frat house, and this girl kept complaining that she was
- 1:41:36Speaker 8: getting ut I s. And then she finally figured it
- 1:41:39Speaker 8: out and she said to us, I was yelling at
- 1:41:41Speaker 8: my I was yelling at my mom because she always
- 1:41:45Speaker 8: I'm sure she didn't teach me to wipe front to.
- 1:41:47Speaker 5: Back one problem sooner.
- 1:41:54Speaker 4: There also, again, every parents got it least one of
- 1:42:00Speaker 4: these stories. And you can call it anonymously and I'll
- 1:42:02Speaker 4: get We're not gonna ask you like, oh, what's your
- 1:42:04Speaker 4: kid's name?
- 1:42:04Speaker 7: Where do they go to school? So we can make
- 1:42:06Speaker 7: sure everybody knows who they are. Uh, you can call
- 1:42:08Speaker 7: it anonymously if you'd like. But the way it works
- 1:42:10Speaker 7: is what you call in, we hear your story, we
- 1:42:13Speaker 7: take the next call, we hear their story, and then
- 1:42:16Speaker 7: we decide between the two, which one is the better
- 1:42:19Speaker 7: story that we like the most, and then that one
- 1:42:21Speaker 7: moves on. We set a certain amount of time for
- 1:42:24Speaker 7: you know, taking the calls. Whichever story is left as
- 1:42:27Speaker 7: the last man standing at the end of that time
- 1:42:29Speaker 7: will win a prize. Sweet, so you get to goof
- 1:42:32Speaker 7: on your kids.
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: Hey, your dumb kid will pay off.
- 1:42:34Speaker 7: You get to goof on your kids and potentially win
- 1:42:37Speaker 7: a prize.
- 1:42:37Speaker 5: Perfect.
- 1:42:38Speaker 7: So we've got the phones open. We just cleared them out,
- 1:42:41Speaker 7: So if you want to call in with yours, eight
- 1:42:42Speaker 7: seven seven forty four, woody, call now. It's eight seven
- 1:42:46Speaker 7: seven forty four Woody. What was your I raised an
- 1:42:48Speaker 7: idiot moment?
- 1:42:50Speaker 5: Bruh b I'm just driving a car. Have to do
- 1:42:53Speaker 5: with responsive buildings, idiot?
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: Yeah, on your face?
- 1:43:03Speaker 7: Parents, have you had your eye raised.
- 1:43:06Speaker 5: An idiot moment. If you have it, it's coming. Oh yeah,
- 1:43:10Speaker 5: everybody's got one.
- 1:43:13Speaker 7: Yeah, my kids mailed a ton of graduation thank you
- 1:43:15Speaker 7: cards without stamps. Oh no, said he didn't know. And
- 1:43:20Speaker 7: the post office actually mailed most of them.
- 1:43:22Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: That's really nice of that, very generous.
- 1:43:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:43:28Speaker 7: This person said, when your sons are twenty and twenty
- 1:43:31Speaker 7: seven and they decide to test the theory of suffocating
- 1:43:34Speaker 7: someone by putting a bag.
- 1:43:35Speaker 1: Over their head, Oh my god, Yeah, my god.
- 1:43:40Speaker 7: This one said, there was a bug flying in the hallway,
- 1:43:42Speaker 7: and I caught my son with hair spray and a
- 1:43:44Speaker 7: lighter shooting flames into the hall ceiling trying to kill
- 1:43:48Speaker 7: the bug. And now there's large black marks all over
- 1:43:51Speaker 7: the hall.
- 1:43:53Speaker 1: I was going to say, we did the homemadew.
- 1:43:59Speaker 5: Did the bathroom.
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: The bathroom.
- 1:44:02Speaker 4: The magnifying glass was always fun.
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's fun.
- 1:44:05Speaker 5: Yeah, set so much stuff on fire with that.
- 1:44:07Speaker 7: All right, So what is your best I raised an
- 1:44:11Speaker 7: idiot moment, and this is last man standing.
- 1:44:13Speaker 5: So we'll set the time.
- 1:44:16Speaker 7: Uh, we'll make it. We'll make it a quick one.
- 1:44:18Speaker 7: Let's say, let's say five minutes. All right, So we'll
- 1:44:21Speaker 7: take the first call, we'll hear the story. We'll get
- 1:44:24Speaker 7: the second call here that story, decide which one moves on,
- 1:44:27Speaker 7: and then whichever one is left at the end. You're
- 1:44:30Speaker 7: going to be the winner and we'll get you set
- 1:44:32Speaker 7: up with a prize. Let's go right to the phone.
- 1:44:37Speaker 7: Say hi to Maria. Hey Maria, Maria, Hi, good morning.
- 1:44:42Speaker 5: Hey Maria. All right, so what is your I raised
- 1:44:46Speaker 5: an idiot moment?
- 1:44:48Speaker 18: Okay, so he is in ninth grade. They were told
- 1:44:51Speaker 18: to the whole class was told to unplug their computers.
- 1:44:54Speaker 18: His pocket got stuck. He found a piece of metal
- 1:44:56Speaker 18: on the floor, decided to use that to cry it
- 1:44:59Speaker 18: out out. All the circuits in the whole class came through.
- 1:45:04Speaker 18: I gotta he gets up to the principal. I get
- 1:45:05Speaker 18: a call. They think he did it on purpose. But
- 1:45:08Speaker 18: it's like, do you seriously think potentially electrocuted himself? Which
- 1:45:12Speaker 18: is why I believe it was a mistake of dumb,
- 1:45:15Speaker 18: idiot mistake.
- 1:45:16Speaker 5: Well, they were giving him credit by saying you did
- 1:45:18Speaker 5: it on purpose, Like, who's that dud?
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: Did it?
- 1:45:19Speaker 5: Did they charge you for that stuff?
- 1:45:23Speaker 7: No?
- 1:45:23Speaker 18: They wanted him to do detention, but we are like, no,
- 1:45:26Speaker 18: we're gonna we're gonna think about it, because this just
- 1:45:28Speaker 18: doesn't make sense that it was intentional, Like why would
- 1:45:30Speaker 18: he My parents.
- 1:45:31Speaker 5: Would have sounded attention immediately?
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah, idiot?
- 1:45:33Speaker 7: All right, Hang on one second, all right, So her
- 1:45:36Speaker 7: ninth grader blew all the circuits in the computers in
- 1:45:38Speaker 7: class because he's using.
- 1:45:39Speaker 5: Metal to product. All right, out, all right.
- 1:45:42Speaker 7: Let's say hi to Nancy. Hey, Nancy, Hi, Hi, So
- 1:45:47Speaker 7: what's your eye?
- 1:45:48Speaker 5: Raised? An idiot moment?
- 1:45:50Speaker 16: Actually I thought it. The second one, well, it was listening,
- 1:45:53Speaker 16: all right, First one son.
- 1:45:55Speaker 5: Pick one.
- 1:45:56Speaker 7: For the purpose of the contest. You got to pick one.
- 1:45:58Speaker 7: Which what's your best store?
- 1:46:00Speaker 16: Let me do the second one. Though he was hiking
- 1:46:03Speaker 16: around with his friend. He was in junior high. He
- 1:46:08Speaker 16: they all they both decided to urinate because they had
- 1:46:12Speaker 16: to go the bathroom when they were out, and he
- 1:46:14Speaker 16: urinated in a poison oak bush.
- 1:46:17Speaker 4: Oh and what happened.
- 1:46:22Speaker 16: To take his four kids to the doctor with his
- 1:46:25Speaker 16: huge and large little member. Said he had show the doctor.
- 1:46:32Speaker 5: Yeah, the doctor, the doctor. The doctors would have asked,
- 1:46:37Speaker 5: have seen it.
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: Any Yeah, it could have been a broken toe.
- 1:46:41Speaker 7: I have the time pause while we make a decision.
- 1:46:43Speaker 7: I'm not going to cut into people's time while we
- 1:46:46Speaker 7: make a decision here, all right, Nancy, hang on one second,
- 1:46:48Speaker 7: all right, So between Maria and Nancy.
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going with using metal to do the plug
- 1:46:56Speaker 1: out of the socket because ninth grade you should know better.
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: You should know better. And in in this kid's case,
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: maybe he didn't know it was poison.
- 1:47:03Speaker 7: Oak, pisonous, poison ivy and poison oak two different. It's
- 1:47:12Speaker 7: kind of say firefly and lightning bug, different different, they
- 1:47:16Speaker 7: look different.
- 1:47:17Speaker 5: I wouldn't identify it.
- 1:47:18Speaker 7: I couldn't identify it, all right, So we're going with Maria. Maria, Hey, Nancy,
- 1:47:23Speaker 7: thank you for the call, just out of curiosity.
- 1:47:24Speaker 5: What was the other story?
- 1:47:27Speaker 16: The other story was that he saw the dog scratching
- 1:47:31Speaker 16: his nose on the carpet and he did the same
- 1:47:34Speaker 16: thing and he got rud burn.
- 1:47:35Speaker 15: All and.
- 1:47:40Speaker 5: How old is this kid?
- 1:47:40Speaker 10: Now?
- 1:47:43Speaker 16: He's going on fifty this show.
- 1:47:46Speaker 5: And what does he do for a living.
- 1:47:49Speaker 16: He's got his own business. He's highly successful. I don't know.
- 1:47:54Speaker 5: Alright, worked out? All right, Nancy, thank you for the car.
- 1:47:57Speaker 5: I appreciate you.
- 1:47:58Speaker 7: All right, let's see, let's go to uh Adriana. Hey,
- 1:48:02Speaker 7: what's up? Adriana, Hi guy, all right, so your I
- 1:48:07Speaker 7: raised an idiot moment.
- 1:48:10Speaker 2: So I set my kid out to walk the dog,
- 1:48:14Speaker 2: and I specifically told him not to use the red
- 1:48:18Speaker 2: leaf because the red leash was broken, and to grab
- 1:48:21Speaker 2: the other leash. Well, my son still grabbed the red leaf,
- 1:48:24Speaker 2: only he proceeded to tight around the dog's highness and
- 1:48:28Speaker 2: then was still grabbing the other least to just carry
- 1:48:30Speaker 2: around while he walked the dog with the broken leaf
- 1:48:33Speaker 2: tight around the dog's.
- 1:48:34Speaker 5: Turnt What what is it that's weird? Because I relate
- 1:48:38Speaker 5: to this, my kid doesn't.
- 1:48:39Speaker 2: I also want to add that this kid is smart
- 1:48:42Speaker 2: enough that he skips a grave, so.
- 1:48:45Speaker 5: He's just not so maybe he thought he was smarter
- 1:48:47Speaker 5: than the broken leash, like smart broken.
- 1:48:51Speaker 1: This kind of reminds me of when Woody used his
- 1:48:53Speaker 1: phone in a dark room to tell what time it was.
- 1:48:56Speaker 1: Using the phone a.
- 1:48:58Speaker 7: Momentary laps and tell jem of intelligence. All right, Adriana,
- 1:49:05Speaker 7: hang on one second, all right? Whose story between Maria
- 1:49:07Speaker 7: with the circuits and the computers?
- 1:49:10Speaker 5: I mean, or Maria's kids still almost killed everyone in school?
- 1:49:13Speaker 5: It's yeah, I'm still going with the metal in the
- 1:49:16Speaker 5: socket socket because you should know better.
- 1:49:18Speaker 1: All right, and this sounds like just laziness. I was like, ah,
- 1:49:23Speaker 1: I'm just gonna make it work.
- 1:49:24Speaker 5: Yeah, it is pretty dumb, but still yeah.
- 1:49:26Speaker 7: All right, uh, Adriana, thank you for listening and for
- 1:49:29Speaker 7: calling in this morning.
- 1:49:30Speaker 5: Appreciate that.
- 1:49:34Speaker 7: All right, let's go to Terry.
- 1:49:38Speaker 5: Terry.
- 1:49:40Speaker 7: Hey, guys, all right, so your I raised an idiot moment.
- 1:49:45Speaker 3: Yeah. So I was home alone with my son and
- 1:49:48Speaker 3: I was taking a nap one day, and apparently he
- 1:49:51Speaker 3: didn't realize that I was with him, so he thought
- 1:49:54Speaker 3: it'd be a good idea to get a giant cardboard
- 1:49:58Speaker 3: cut out make a sign saying I am home alone
- 1:50:02Speaker 3: and no one is with me or something like that,
- 1:50:06Speaker 3: and he put it outside on the street to tell
- 1:50:10Speaker 3: the whole world he's home alone, you know, home thank God.
- 1:50:13Speaker 5: But notice these are all sons.
- 1:50:19Speaker 7: All right, all right, so all right, some made a
- 1:50:21Speaker 7: sign that said I'm home alone put in the front yard.
- 1:50:24Speaker 5: Why but there is no answer?
- 1:50:26Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:50:27Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, he was scared. All right, Terry, hang
- 1:50:31Speaker 5: on one second story. I really like that, but I
- 1:50:35Speaker 5: gotta stick with Maria. Yeah, socket, all right, all right, Terry,
- 1:50:39Speaker 5: thank you for the call.
- 1:50:40Speaker 7: I appreciate listening to the Wood Show. Have yourself a
- 1:50:42Speaker 7: great day. Let's go to Vincent.
- 1:50:45Speaker 5: Hey, Vincent, Vincent, Hey, good morning.
- 1:50:49Speaker 16: We're gonnahow y'all doing.
- 1:50:50Speaker 7: I'm doing great, all right, So what's your eye raised
- 1:50:52Speaker 7: an idiot moment? Well, I'm not too proud of this,
- 1:50:56Speaker 7: but my oldest daughter she thought that me getting I'm sick,
- 1:51:00Speaker 7: I mean with the same thing as getting her dog neuter.
- 1:51:03Speaker 5: She thought that you had your your balls cut off exactly.
- 1:51:07Speaker 5: She turned to my wife and she goes, hey, mom,
- 1:51:10Speaker 5: is that how dad's look?
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: And my wife said, what do you mean?
- 1:51:13Speaker 3: And she's like, yeah, because him and bear have got fixed.
- 1:51:19Speaker 16: How old she looked over them?
- 1:51:22Speaker 3: She's twenty four now.
- 1:51:25Speaker 5: Wow, oh wow.
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: I was gonna say, give her a break if she
- 1:51:28Speaker 1: was six.
- 1:51:29Speaker 5: All right, all right, we'll make this quick.
- 1:51:30Speaker 16: Guy.
- 1:51:31Speaker 7: It's in between Maria and Vincent.
- 1:51:32Speaker 1: I'm saying Vincent. I'm saying that one really good one.
- 1:51:35Speaker 9: Twenty three Yeah, yeah, yeah, between those two.
- 1:51:38Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, damn.
- 1:51:40Speaker 5: I like the socket though, all right, I say, Vincent
- 1:51:43Speaker 5: Vincent Vincent three. All right, all you guys are out
- 1:51:46Speaker 5: numbered either way.
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: But she thought he got cast.
- 1:51:48Speaker 4: Hey Maria, you had a you had a very nice run.
- 1:51:50Speaker 4: We appreciate you. Listen to show I have herself a
- 1:51:52Speaker 4: great day.
- 1:51:52Speaker 7: Okay, you do mean we love.
- 1:51:55Speaker 5: We have time for one more. It's four minutes and
- 1:51:58Speaker 5: fifty one seconds.
- 1:52:00Speaker 7: Okay, I've been pausing the time when you know, we
- 1:52:02Speaker 7: make our decisions here, let's let's get one more.
- 1:52:05Speaker 5: So it's either Vincent or Brandy. Hey, Brandy, Hi, how
- 1:52:10Speaker 5: are you doing? We're doing great?
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:52:11Speaker 5: So what's your eye raised an idiot moment?
- 1:52:14Speaker 20: Okay, So about two years ago, we took a family vacation,
- 1:52:18Speaker 20: took Kahona and Hawaiian Yeah, and we went to We
- 1:52:21Speaker 20: stayed on both sides of the island. So the first
- 1:52:24Speaker 20: time we stayed on with the beautiful black shore and
- 1:52:26Speaker 20: the beaches with a black Fan, and then on the
- 1:52:29Speaker 20: at latter half of the trip, we stayed on the
- 1:52:32Speaker 20: other side of the island, and we was just comparing
- 1:52:34Speaker 20: the things of how to kids, like the beaches and everything.
- 1:52:37Speaker 20: He was like, well, Mama, like the other ocean.
- 1:52:39Speaker 16: And I was like, maybe I don't understand. He was
- 1:52:41Speaker 16: like the ocean of the Black Fan, and I'm.
- 1:52:43Speaker 20: Like, maybe one on an island, it's only one ocean.
- 1:52:46Speaker 20: He was like, no, there's two oceans, and I'm like, no, baby, man,
- 1:52:49Speaker 20: it's not. And so this day, that was two years ago,
- 1:52:52Speaker 20: and he was thirteen at the time, and to this
- 1:52:54Speaker 20: day he's still arguing with us about the two oceans.
- 1:52:56Speaker 4: Oh all right, all right, all right, hang on one second,
- 1:53:01Speaker 4: all right, all right, so what do you guys think
- 1:53:06Speaker 4: you'll get your vote?
- 1:53:07Speaker 5: That's funny, but I gotta stick with my guy Vincent.
- 1:53:10Speaker 5: With Vincent, I like both.
- 1:53:11Speaker 1: But yeah, she was the daughter was twenty three, twenty four.
- 1:53:14Speaker 1: I'm sticking with vin Vincent.
- 1:53:16Speaker 5: Yeah, Vincent, all right, what do you think I'm doing here?
- 1:53:19Speaker 5: I'm going around the room getting the vote. Yeah.
- 1:53:21Speaker 4: No, I'm trying to see if there's two oceans for real?
- 1:53:23Speaker 5: Oh my god, is researching the Pacific and what else?
- 1:53:27Speaker 5: What could it possibly be.
- 1:53:28Speaker 4: North Pacific Ocean, which says on the map right there, right,
- 1:53:32Speaker 4: but what's the ocean the Pacific Ocean?
- 1:53:36Speaker 5: Correct?
- 1:53:36Speaker 4: Right, but there could be then there's the South Pacific Ocean.
- 1:53:41Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:53:42Speaker 7: That's like saying, you know, it's like northern California and
- 1:53:46Speaker 7: southern California.
- 1:53:47Speaker 5: It's all California. It's the Pacific oceanstally different.
- 1:53:51Speaker 7: But yes, okay, well, Vincent, congratulations, you are the winner
- 1:53:57Speaker 7: energy from this round of Last Man Standing. Hang on one second,
- 1:54:02Speaker 7: we will get all your information. Appreciate you listening. There's
- 1:54:06Speaker 7: Vincent everybody, and then hang on and then Brandy, thank
- 1:54:10Speaker 7: you appreciate the story.
- 1:54:11Speaker 5: That's a great story.
- 1:54:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:54:13Speaker 7: Either way, you got to go to Hawaii pretty great.
- 1:54:15Speaker 5: Yeah, noise, Yeah, all right, thank you, Brandy.
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: All right, there you go.
- 1:54:18Speaker 5: That's how you play Last Man's Standing.
- 1:54:19Speaker 10: So funny.
- 1:54:20Speaker 7: Yeah, I said, my kid had to sell those chocolates
- 1:54:23Speaker 7: and didn't ruz that she had to sell them, but
- 1:54:25Speaker 7: she gave them to friends and just got boxes and boxes,
- 1:54:29Speaker 7: didn't tell me, and I was stuck with a seven
- 1:54:31Speaker 7: hundred and fifty dollars bill for the chocolates.
- 1:54:34Speaker 1: God, but I.
- 1:54:35Speaker 5: Explained to her.
- 1:54:36Speaker 7: She said, technically I did sell them, they just didn't
- 1:54:38Speaker 7: pay we did.
- 1:54:40Speaker 8: Oh okay, Well she's like, it's not my money.
- 1:54:43Speaker 5: I kind of like that the little show.
- 1:54:48Speaker 7: All right, so little uh, little feedback after we did
- 1:54:53Speaker 7: that round of Last Man Standing. If you're a parent,
- 1:54:58Speaker 7: your I raised an idiot.
- 1:55:00Speaker 5: Moments somebody said, my.
- 1:55:02Speaker 7: Thirteen year old daughter thought it would be a good
- 1:55:04Speaker 7: idea to sneak off to her school in the middle
- 1:55:06Speaker 7: of the night and break into the cafeteria and spray
- 1:55:08Speaker 7: a fire extinguished shirt.
- 1:55:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, well, Vangal.
- 1:55:13Speaker 7: She would have gotten away with it, except she saw
- 1:55:15Speaker 7: the cameras, so she covered her face with the sweater
- 1:55:19Speaker 7: that she wears every single day, thinking she wouldn't get caught,
- 1:55:26Speaker 7: and then yeah that, Oh my god, I wouldn't have
- 1:55:29Speaker 7: survived that parents. My parents would have killed me.
- 1:55:34Speaker 5: Uh see.
- 1:55:35Speaker 7: My fifteen year old asked how he knew if the
- 1:55:38Speaker 7: water was boiling? Wait, what, like, how do you like
- 1:55:42Speaker 7: is this boiling? Yeah, as opposed to you know.
- 1:55:46Speaker 5: It's super hot?
- 1:55:47Speaker 15: Yeah?
- 1:55:47Speaker 5: Probably. I think literally every sense you have could tell
- 1:55:49Speaker 5: you one way or the other. Yeah, well, because you
- 1:55:51Speaker 5: know it right before it starts to go into a.
- 1:55:53Speaker 7: Roll a rolling royal, rolling, roiling?
- 1:55:58Speaker 5: I thought it was rolling?
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: Is it roiling?
- 1:56:01Speaker 5: I think?
- 1:56:01Speaker 1: I thought?
- 1:56:02Speaker 7: I thought I thought rolling because like when the bubble,
- 1:56:04Speaker 7: like when something's in boiling water, it's kind of like
- 1:56:07Speaker 7: rolling around. I thought that's where it came from. Honestly,
- 1:56:09Speaker 7: it was bubbling.
- 1:56:10Speaker 5: Is it really rolling? Is correct?
- 1:56:12Speaker 8: Me?
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: See the roiling?
- 1:56:13Speaker 5: Wow? I was today. I thought it was royal means
- 1:56:17Speaker 5: turbulent and rolling. Means rapid and vigorous, the same thing.
- 1:56:21Speaker 7: But what's like, what is the when it comes to
- 1:56:23Speaker 7: boiling water? Will it be roiling on it?
- 1:56:28Speaker 5: That's all I found.
- 1:56:29Speaker 8: Yes, yes, it's a roiling originates from the mid sixteenth century,
- 1:56:34Speaker 8: meaning to turn up water, actually to make it muddy.
- 1:56:37Speaker 8: But then, of course churning was eventually just adopted to
- 1:56:40Speaker 8: all kinds of churning.
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: I'm sticking rolling rolling.
- 1:56:43Speaker 7: It sounds silly grey because we were we were going
- 1:56:47Speaker 7: back and forth at one point about to flush something
- 1:56:52Speaker 7: out or flesh something out. It's flesh out. It's flesh out,
- 1:56:55Speaker 7: not not chomping at the bit. Someone's champing at the bit.
- 1:56:59Speaker 5: Flush out makes sense because like you're flushing out an
- 1:57:02Speaker 5: animal from the woods, but then getting rid of it, right,
- 1:57:05Speaker 5: flushing would be getting rid of I would think.
- 1:57:07Speaker 1: True.
- 1:57:07Speaker 4: I thought that was like de boning. But what do
- 1:57:10Speaker 4: you mean de boning stuff getting meat off of bone.
- 1:57:13Speaker 4: That's the I thought that's what the origin was. Oh,
- 1:57:17Speaker 4: the opposite. You're putting flesh on the bone, right.
- 1:57:19Speaker 7: Like you're you're you're fleshing out an idea like it
- 1:57:21Speaker 7: starts as this, but.
- 1:57:22Speaker 4: You're you're out part, you know. I think that they're
- 1:57:25Speaker 4: tearing it off.
- 1:57:26Speaker 7: Okay, well either way, I'd never heard of what not rolling, oiling, roiling, royling.
- 1:57:32Speaker 5: I had never heard that you're roiling in the deep
- 1:57:35Speaker 5: from when.
- 1:57:36Speaker 9: Broiling is the older term and people say rolling now.
- 1:57:39Speaker 8: Because you're roiling it. It's the classic thing where the
- 1:57:42Speaker 8: incorrect usage.
- 1:57:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm so common, I've seen it. Plenty of people
- 1:57:47Speaker 5: say that that's not believe that ever happened.
- 1:57:51Speaker 7: My son attempted to sell a shovel snow out of
- 1:57:53Speaker 7: the driveway with thirty five mile an hour winds outside.
- 1:57:55Speaker 7: He got hit in the face with snow every time
- 1:57:57Speaker 7: because he was throwing the snow into the wind.
- 1:57:59Speaker 5: He was twenty four. I can't figure it out.
- 1:58:03Speaker 7: My son fell six feet off of a shed roof
- 1:58:06Speaker 7: wearing homemade cardboard armor. He broke both of his wrists.
- 1:58:09Speaker 7: Oh my gosh, I raised an idiot. My daughter called
- 1:58:12Speaker 7: me asking how to roast a turkey on Thanksgiving. Somehow
- 1:58:15Speaker 7: she missed the part about thawing it out and tried
- 1:58:17Speaker 7: to roast it while was still frozen solid.
- 1:58:19Speaker 5: Oh no, there, yes, My.
- 1:58:22Speaker 7: Son was washing my car, attempted to fill a bucket
- 1:58:25Speaker 7: with water. The hose wouldn't reach the bucket, so instead
- 1:58:28Speaker 7: of bringing the bucket over, he just shot the water
- 1:58:30Speaker 7: into it from ten feet away and kept knocking it over.
- 1:58:34Speaker 5: I love kids.
- 1:58:35Speaker 1: That's disconcert, that's hilarious.
- 1:58:38Speaker 5: I'll give you one more.
- 1:58:39Speaker 7: This one says my daughter was working as a camp
- 1:58:41Speaker 7: counselor and was excited because the laundry detergent she bought
- 1:58:44Speaker 7: smelled really good. She confused fabric softnaire for detergent and
- 1:58:49Speaker 7: was only using the fabric softnir to quote clean her clothes,
- 1:58:52Speaker 7: no detergent at all.
- 1:58:54Speaker 5: Somehow graduated as a valedictorian. That is shocking, fasting good.
- 1:58:58Speaker 5: Good for her.
- 1:59:00Speaker 4: I mean I do know people that are like crazy
- 1:59:02Speaker 4: books smart, but when you talk to them.
