- 0:04SPEAKER_00: What's going on, ballers?
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: It's your boy MJ coming at you with another episode of the Fancy Fumble.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: I'm here with my co-host and second in command here, Joe the Birdman.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: Joe, how the hell are you doing today, brother?
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: I'm doing great, Manny.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: Going to talk about our top 15 quarterbacks.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: And um before we start the stream, Annie, I was just saying after 10, it gets pretty muddled.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of overlap, but we're going to give you 15 to work with.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Without further ado, my friend, let's go ahead and jump into the top 15 QBs for 2026.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Obviously, number one is going to be Josh Allen.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: But go ahead.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it is.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: It is.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: So for my number one, I have Josh Allen.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: You're going to notice with my top 10.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: A lot of them are mobile quarterbacks.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: That applies to Josh Allen.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: He had over 4,000 total yards, 39 touchdowns, and 14 of those are rushing touchdowns.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: They got a great O-line, great offense.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: He's got a lot of people to work with.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: James Cook, the addition of DJ Moore, Dalton Kincaid.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: And honestly, it doesn't even matter who he has on his team.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: He makes the offense work.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: He spreads the ball a lot.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: That's why he's my number one, despite having a tough schedule.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: And I totally, you know, I'm 100% in agreement with you.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: I'm sure pretty much 99% of the consensus has Josh Allen, number one.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: I will say, being a Josh Allen owner last year, even though I say he's number one overall, I do not recommend touching him earlier than the third round.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: So here's the problem.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: I grabbed him in the second round last year.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Josh Allen started off hot, had some big games, and right when that fantasy playoffs rolled around, he just shit the bed every single night.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: So, you know, investing that high into a quarterback, guys, is never worth it.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: So one thing I will say is from here on out, if it's not between rounds three and ten, I'm not, you know, I'm not drafting them.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: I think at the absolute earliest round three for any quarterback, no matter how high you are.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Top tier guys, round three or four.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: After that, I like to let it go for a while and let it come back around.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: I'll get someone that's on the same level between five and ten.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, 15, 20.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: That all gets really muddled.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: So I'm fine with waiting for one of those top-tier guys after round three or four.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: Because one thing I noticed though, the draft runs pretty deep.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Uh, when you get to round picks number four and five, you're gonna have a good choice of uh really good wide receivers, right?
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: Starting wide receivers, and then you're gonna have your choice of like second-tier running backs.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: So, you know, always play that that that strategy of best available, right, Joe?
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: You always got to talent regardless of position.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: I know you and I are always gunning for running backs.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: We kind of take that hero running back approach, but um that's typically what I do with round one and two, and then you got plenty of wide receivers in round three and four.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: So I usually do wait on a quarterback, but I think Josh Allen's a great pick in the round in the third or fourth round.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, I totally agree.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: Now, for my number two, uh, I don't know if you have the same one, but you know, uh, I'm not just saying this because I'm an Eagles fan, but Jalen Hurts, uh, number one for the Eagles is gonna be the number two fantasy quarterback this year.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, one thing I looked at is the Eagles.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Uh, quarterback has such a good strength of schedule.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: It's actually, uh, according to like metrics and stats, it is an easiest schedule for a quarterback this upcoming season.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: So I expect Jalen Hurts to take advantage of this whole new offense.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: The Eagles implemented Sean Manning.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: So now you're gonna see a lot of motions and a lot of misdirections and crosses and a lot of crap that Eagles couldn't do last year, they're gonna do it this year, right?
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: And that's gonna be without AJ Brown.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: So, you know, that's gonna kind of tell you the type of team and caliber team they have, and uh, what better way to show how good your team is is by having one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: All pro Super Bowl winning MVP Jalen Hurts.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: I like that.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: I got him a little bit lower, so I'll talk about him in a minute.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: But I'm gonna actually surprise you with my number two.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Uh, well, maybe not, but I have Drake May.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: Uh hey, listen, he finished with just below 5,000 total yards last season.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: He's a mobile quarterback, but he also has he also had 4,400 passing yards, 35 touchdowns.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: He's on a great offense.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: They went to the Super Bowl, and he now has AJ Brown added to those offensive weapons he has.
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: They do have a tough schedule.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: That's what gives me a little bit of pause, but I love Drake May this year.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: And you know, I will talk about him later, much later.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: Hey, I'm yeah, I am you were right, it was gonna surprise me, you know.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: So, you know, but I like it.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Go bigger, big home, uh go home, right?
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: Big balls call.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, I know I know the consensus has him down uh quite a few spots, but you know, he's he's just got a great situation this year.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Now that that was your number two.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Who's your number three?
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: Number three, I have Joe Burrow.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: I just really like the offense, and I really like their schedule.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: They have one of the easiest schedules, and he's got Jamar Chase, D.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: Higgins, Chase Brown, and I think just due to the issues last year, he's coming out this year with something to prove.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: I think he's gonna be playing kind of angry.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: And um again, they've just got a really good offense, and I can't wait to see what he can do.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, I like Joe Burrow.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: Uh, I'm not gonna get into it though, uh, because my number three is a guy that I think has has to have a bounce back season.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: So people still talk about him because he will be doing that.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: That's Lamar Jackson.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: He just added a new weapon in the offseason.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: I know they drafted two wide receivers in the third round.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: One was like Jordan Surratt and the other one was Jacoby Lane.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Um, and I think Jacoby Lane's gonna be that big body wide receiver they've been missing over there in Baltimore to complement, you know, them.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: So I expect Lamar Jackson to have two stud receivers, of course, his red zone target and my Mark Jackson, you know, and then you're gonna see a lot of volume.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: And of course, you know, it's not Lamar Jackson unless he's getting you 50 rushing yards a game, right?
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna see uh him have a really good bounce back season, and I actually have him as the last one of my superstar tier players.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: So uh, you know, and superstar tier, I mean guys that you gotta grab early or you're not gonna get them.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I've I have a couple more that I would fit into that category.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: Um, but my number four, I'm just gonna roll right into it because I have Lamar Jackson.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: I mean, the Raf the Ravens are an awesome team, you know, one of the best in the NFL, and they have a really strong O-line.
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: Although Lamar did have a disappointing season last year, he was injured, missed a lot of games.
- 7:17SPEAKER_01: Even when he was playing, he was hobbled up.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: So he's great offense, a really good schedule.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: But like you said, I think he needs to be running to finish inside the top five.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: So they need to get that.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: I know they want to have him passing more, but they need to get him running the ball too.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: And I think that is gonna happen.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: I want to see it happen, and I think it's necessary for him to finish inside the top five.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: But I got him at number four.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: You know, and and it's funny you say that because um remember they lost their starting center last year, like the top Tyler Lindenbaum.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: That's who I'm talking about.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: So Tyler Lindenbaum left, so they signed this other guy, can't recall his name, but that guy that they signed this offseason as their starting center has just torn his ACL this week and is out for the season.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: So, you know, so I think because of that, you're gonna see a lot more mobile, you know, Lamar Jackson this year for sheer uh for the sheer chance that he's just not gonna have all the run support or the blocking support he's gonna need.
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, just out of necessity, but that that's when he uh makes the biggest plays, you know.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, a lot of them are designed runs, but when he scrambles, he makes it happen.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he he's fun to watch, that's for sure.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: Uh who do you have at number four?
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: Uh number four, I actually have T Law, man, Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: Uh he's coming back off a career year, right?
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: He has Liam Cohen as his offensive coordinator.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: So Jags have the first thing the first time they've had this in years, and that's consistency when it comes to offensive play calling, right?
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: So this is Liam Cohen's what second year?
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: So, you know, uh we're looking at a big grow year for uh Trevor Lawrence.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: I mean, uh in general, he also uses his legs, maybe not as much as Lamar Jackson, but he will get you that little quarterback sneak.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: Um, but overall, just look kind of looking at uh stats for last year, he had 38 passing touchdowns, over 4,000 passing yards, and he was one of the highest in NFL in attempts per game at 35 attempts per game.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: So, you know, no one was pretty much there wasn't many people throwing it, airing it out more than him, and and that's obviously to include Matt Stafford, K Patrick Mahomes, who were top three last year.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: So he was at number four.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: And also, uh speaking of schedule, he has a 16 strength schedule.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: So that just means that his schedule is not going to be too hard, it's not gonna be too easy, and it pretty much just starts off friendly and then it kind of drops off near the second half of the year.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: So if it's somebody you go after, you get him, you kind of play a few really good games with him, and then ship them off before that schedule starts to get bumpy.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: Now, at number five, I have your boy Jalen Hurts.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: Of course, he's on a great offense with the Eagles, he's a mobile quarterback, which you gotta love to see.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: They have a great offensive line, um, just an all-around solid offense with Saquon Barkley, Devontae Smith, and Dallas Goddard.
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: And they do have a really good schedule.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: And I just feel like Jalen Hurts is one of the safest fantasy quarterbacks because his floor is so high.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: Even when he has a bad game the fourth quarter, he makes up for it.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: I've had him on my team year after year, and he's just like a very comfortable plug-and-play every single week.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: And that's typically why I draft him because he has a really high ceiling, but he also has a really safe floor.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: That's the end of my top tier.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: That top five, I feel like those are all S-tier fantasy picks.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can see I see how you can make a case for those guys, definitely.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: All right, so for my number five, uh, I actually have a gentleman that was the MVP of the league last year, Matt Stafford, he had an amazing year, and the offense only got better in the offseason.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: The Rams really loaded up on defense, right, to kind of uh stop that side of the ball.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: But uh they also revamped the O-line a little bit.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: So expect the Rams to take a little bit of a uh possibly a step back, you know, as far as production this year.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: But when you have Devontae Adams and Puka Nakua both healthy, I mean it's the one of the most, if not the most dangerous passing attack in the league.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: So expect Stafford to you know get some big yards and even dump it off to the our running back here and there.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: I I love that pick.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: I'm actually you have him much higher than consensus, but I really like that you do because you're talking about arguably the best offense in the NFL.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: We've got Devontae Adams, Bukenakua.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: Like you said, he can dish it off to Kyron Williams.
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: And he was so good last year.
- 12:08SPEAKER_01: I'll I'll talk about him in a little bit, but he was so good last year that I don't feel like he's getting the respect he deserves.
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: So I'm glad you do have him that high inside your top five.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: He's underappreciated.
- 12:18SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: Now for number six, I have Jaden Daniels, another mobile quarterback with Terry McLaurin, Stephon Diggs, uh JCM, and Rashad White.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: I feel like he's going to be dishing off the ball to them a lot too.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: So I feel like he's got a safe floor just with the offense that he's got.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: They do spread the ball around where I'm not real high on any of those offensive players, but I think it's a good situation for Jaden Daniels.
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: He does uh have injury concerns, which is something that I can't shake.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: He's just he's not like the biggest guy, you know, compared to other quarterbacks in the NFL.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: And because of his injury history, I don't understand really if if you look at the consensus, they've got him really high.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: And maybe maybe right around where I do, but um I can't put him in that S tier just because I feel like we haven't seen enough from him yet and his injury history.
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: And I mean the commanders, even though I do think their offense is underrated, you know, they've got a middle of the road schedule, and I feel like it's gonna be tough sledding for Jaden Daniels to finish at the top.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: Uh I'll get to him in a second.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: Um, however, for my number six, uh, you already talked about the gentleman, but Joe Burrow, you know, I think he's gonna have a bounce back here, and he he didn't play much last year.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: He was injured a lot.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: But coming up this year, they give him a nice uh good schedule.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: So it's kind of like up and down.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: So it's probably gonna be a little bit easier first half of the season, harder the second half.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: So that's the only thing that concerns me.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: But Joe Burrow has enough talent to make it happen, right?
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: He has star wide receivers, two of them, T.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: Higgins and Jamar Chase, who knows how long Chase is out for.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: Um, but regardless, when healthy, they're pretty amazing.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: And then also Chase Brown in the backfield, right?
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: So he's gonna dump it off.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: He's gonna get those screens for 20 or 30 yard touchdowns.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: That's just what it is.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: But um, I can see Joe Burrow coming in uh having a great season.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: He has to.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: He hasn't been healthy since his Super Bowl run year.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I'm not worried about Jamar Chase with the knee.
- 14:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, he said it was just hyperextended and he could play the next day if they had a game.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: So I'm not real worried about it.
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: I I know that there was some hysteria over um Ashton Genty too, but he appears to be fine.
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm I'm not gonna worry until I have to.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: We haven't drafted yet, so I think we're okay.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: Um, but I agree.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: I think Burrow's gonna have a monster season.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: Who do you have at number seven?
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: Um, I have you were just talking about him, Jane Jaden Daniels.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Um obviously the last year wasn't a great one for him, and the year before that was an amazing rooking season, rookie season.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: So, you know, it the good news is he already hit his sophomore slump.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: Now it's his third year in the league.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: He's gonna go back to where he was at.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: He has some weapons, of course.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: Terry McLaurin's there, uh Jeremy Lane.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: Uh, so they have a couple, a couple different little, you know, Jeremy Lane's a rookie.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Uh, and they also have another receiver.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: I'm not I'm blanking out on right now.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, how can I forget?
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: Stefan Diggs, right?
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: Thank you for that.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: I was like, I know there's some someone I'm missing right now.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: I like that addition quite a bit.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: It made it it definitely gave him some options, man.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: Like it made that team deeper.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: But I think because now he has two really good targets, teams can't really just uh just double team, you know, one and get away with it, right?
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: Now they have two players they have to decide between.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: So I think that's gonna open it up for Jaden Daniels underneath.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: You know, he's a really good run threat, so he's gonna get you 500 yards on the ground for the season, right?
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: 500 yards, that's an extra 50 points, you know, in a PPR league.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: So um, regardless, uh, you know, I like him.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: He but the only thing that gives me a little bit of um doubt, I would say is he has a 29th uh hardest schedule or the 29th, yeah, hardest schedule.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: It starts off really hard in the beginning and then it gets nice and easy at the end.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: So he's one of those guys that if you have them early, you pick them early, he's gonna probably struggle early on in the season, but he's gonna come show up when you really need him.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: And if he were like me and I mentioned Josh Allen earlier last year, he didn't do anything in the fantasy playoffs.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: So last thing you want is your one of your star quarterbacks to not even show up.
- 16:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, I'd still take Josh Allen uh for fantasy playoffs and uh roll the dice, but you are right.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: It's something that you could also maybe take advantage of from another team that's frustrated if um Jaden Daniels isn't playing well.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: Maybe you could get him on the low and keep him on your bench or just plug and play him right away.
- 17:06SPEAKER_01: Now for my number seven, I have Jackson Dart.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: He's another mobile quarterback.
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: I know they were upset with him running last year because you know he took some hits.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: Um, but I think that the Giants' offense is underrated.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: I mean, you've got Malik neighbors, and you know, when you have a superstar wide receiver and a legit quarterback that can also run, you know, you got a safe floor.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: So I'm really uh confident that that Jackson Dart's gonna have a safe floor every week.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: And he's gonna have those boom weeks with Malik neighbors.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: You know, they got Mooney, they got uh Scataboo and Tracy at running back, and then they also picked up Najee and Isaiah Likely.
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: So he has plenty of weapons to work with.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: I think he is coming in with something to prove.
- 17:46SPEAKER_01: The schedule is, you know, a little iffy, um, but I'm confident that he's gonna do enough to have a safe floor every week and have those weeks that uh he's booming to.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: Go ahead, man, with your eight.
- 17:58unknown: All right.
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: Uh so for my number eight, I have Bo Knicks.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: Another mobile quarterback.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: He had nearly 4,000 passing yards, seventh in total yards last year.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: Great offensive line, probably the best in the league, and just an all-around solid offense.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: I think it's a little bit overlooked right now.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: They've got Sutton, they got Waddle, Troy Franklin's uh, you know, he's been pretty reliable over the years.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: And then they still have J.K.
- 18:24SPEAKER_01: Dobbins and RJ Harvey, who, you know, those are the guys that are probably going to be working side by side, just like with a lot of dump passes.
- 18:31SPEAKER_01: And um, you know, they've got Evan Ingram, who's a reliable tight end, too.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: So I just think that he's got enough weapons.
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: He's got his legs, and I think he proved himself last year in a big way, and I feel like he's just gonna continue on that path.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: You know, it's good to talk about the weapons for these quarterbacks, right?
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: Because what is a quarterback without somebody that can actually catch the ball?
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: Unless you're Josh Allen.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, right?
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: You're two two-way guys.
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: Um, now for my number eight, uh you already talked about him, you have him pretty high up, but I still have uh Drake May in my top ten.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: Like I think he's gonna be a really good fancy quarterback.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: You know, the only thing that has me ranking him a little bit farther back is he has a 28th hardest schedule for a QB.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: So that to me is is a little bit concerning because if the schedule gets harder in the back half, you know, it's it's something that concerns me because I'm not sure that New England's gonna be built this year as they were last year, right?
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: Like I think last year was their Cinderella season.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: Now they get back to reality.
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, and unfortunately, the the reason why I think they're gonna do that is because they're not gonna run the ball through fucking Trevion Henderson.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: They're gonna keep using Ramondre's Fumelitis Stevenson in the backfield.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: Not to get on a side tangent altogether, not another side tangent about Ramondre and Trevion.
- 20:02SPEAKER_01: I think we've done that every episode so far, but it it's it's hard not to.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: No, I think we've been talking about them for the last couple years, you know, like it shit hasn't changed, guys.
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: Like it's not, I'm never gonna get on that bandwagon.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: You know, we're worried about fantasy football, not real football, but that has to take that has to take uh an effect in real football, too, when you got all those fumbles going on.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: Come on, yeah, yeah.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: And then if your coach is fucking uh local reporter feeding them, could be worse.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: At least he's not uh you know in the 49ers situation, not with their coach, but anyway.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: Um you know, the owner.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: I thought you were talking about Kyle Shanahan.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: I was like, he he got into a car accident.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: No, no, no.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: That's what I thought you were talking about.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they they hit him with a car.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: Um, who do you have at number eight?
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: All right, that was my number eight, Drake May.
- 21:01SPEAKER_01: Oh, Drake May, Drake May.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: Uh, why don't you go with number nine then?
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: All right, number nine.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: You know, this one surprised even me.
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: I was like, how did he make my top ten?
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: Because when he was available, he was on fire, man.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: Brock Purdy had a really good uh second half of the season last year.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: Uh he's coming back in with some revamped options and weapons, although, you know, we've all been getting the Mike Evans news updates, right?
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: And and I'm somebody that had him as a really good value in the seventh, eighth round.
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: But uh now I'm even dialing it.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: But regardless, I think he has plenty of other weapons there.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: Debo's back, right?
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: They also have this Seam Shriblin, like the the rookie.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: He he looks really good as well.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: And then you can't you always have a receiving threat when your running back is Christian McCaffrey.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: All you have to do is freaking run him back screen, and that's just that shit's to the house.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: Like this truck.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: There's no other cheat code like that, you know.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: Having an extra wide receiver on the field.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: Bro, and a really, really good one at that.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: Like way better break tackling than a wide receiver, you know.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: Uh, but regardless, I I I love Brock Purdy to be healthy this year.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: He's sharp, he's uh looking good in camp.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: You know, 49ers are trying to prove that they still belong with the NFC contenders, especially after Seahawks won the Super Bowl last year.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: You know, right now it's all about them birds, you know, Seahawks and Eagles, right?
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: We need to ask somebody else to that mix.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: Uh it'll be the Niners this year, but we'll see.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: You know, he has a 25th hardest schedule, so it's it's not gonna be easy, but you know, I like it.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: They do have a tough schedule, so uh I'll just be up front.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: He was just outside of my top 15 at number 16.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: So I'm just gonna play devil's advocate here because I've had him, I've had him on so many fantasy teams.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: I've had him I'm sick of you agreeing with me.
- 23:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, man, but well, this is actually our biggest discrepancy so far with our quarterback rankings.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: Um, but I I just feel like as a Brock Purdy owner, many years over, he's been a constant disappointment.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: He, you know, he's always hyped up at the beginning of the season.
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: He's never played a full season, he missed half of last season.
- 23:20SPEAKER_01: The wide receiver room is a toss-up right now.
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: We don't know what's going on there.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: And hopefully, Mike Evans and George Kittle can stay healthy because I don't think they can lean on McCaffrey to the volume that they did last year.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: Like, obviously, if I draft McCaffrey, I want to see that, but like we're lucky he didn't get injured last year just with that workload.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: It was insane.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: So I feel like he does need to spread the ball around a little more.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: So hopefully they can stay healthy.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: They the entire team was injured last year, and it's starting to form that same pattern.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: So I do like Brock Birdie.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: I want to see him do well, but I've I've seen him just disappoint over the years when there's a lot of hype around him and he doesn't follow through.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: But he is a great football player, and if he does have all those offensive weapons, they can do big things.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: Uh, but they do have a little bit of a tough schedule.
- 24:09SPEAKER_01: That's a good point, too.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: They sign your boy Christian Kirk, right?
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 24:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, I like Christian Kirk.
- 24:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, and he's a he's a reliable, yeah.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, there's no doubt um that he's gonna be a big addition to the team.
- 24:23SPEAKER_01: Um, as long as they can stay healthy.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: I mean, shit, he's got in a pretty extensive injury history too.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: So I hope he doesn't catch that Niners curse.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: Well, as long as Ayuk doesn't walk into that locker room, I think they'll be safe.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: That guy needs to be a mental institution.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: He just dropped a$50 million bag, and then he's he's mad about it.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: Like I would be too, you idiot.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, dude.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: I I can't explain that thought process at all.
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: I mean, where do you even start?
- 24:50SPEAKER_01: Because this has been going on for a year.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: Honestly, I think it's just mental mental illness.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: It could be.
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: He hasn't been in a league long enough to have CTE, but maybe it happened in college.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but anyways, um, back to the list.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: Who's your number uh your number nine?
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: Who's your number nine?
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: My number nine is Dak Prescott.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: The only quarterback with more total yards was Drake May.
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: Um, he had over four 4,500 passing yards.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: He's on a good offense.
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: He's got Javante, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Jake Ferguson.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: I feel like those four right there are enough to give him plenty of options and passing volume.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: Just seeing what he, you know, and and I'm a I'm a Dak hater every year.
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: I doubt him every single year.
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: And he always plays above my expectations.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: I mean, other people have high expectations, but I'm the one talking shit, saying he can't do it again, and then he does.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: And he did it last year, and I expect him to follow through and just you know hit the ground running, especially if he has a healthy George Pickens and a healthy CD Lamb all season.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: Now, for my number 10, I have a guy that uh, you know, everyone has projected to take a step forward, hasn't yet really taken that step.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: But if there were ever a year it'd be this one with a new offensive coordinator, I know it's crazy saying that.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: However, when your offensive coordinator is Mike McDaniels, then you have a reason to be excited.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: Uh, so Justin Herbert just got him.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: Mike McDaniels took over the offense, right?
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: We remember McDaniels when he first went to Miami.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: It was it was super flashy, high scoring, you know, Raheem Monster and freaking Devin H and were just like winning leagues for people.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: Um, but I I don't expect I don't expect them to be at that level by any means.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: I I I really like his strength as schedule.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: He has a seventh easiest schedule.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: I mean, he has the biggest upgrade in offense.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: Uh, some really good wide receivers there.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: Lad McConkey, right?
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: They have two really good tight ends.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: They have uh uh David Nejoku now and uh Aronde Gaston.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: So, you know, they're gonna be running a lot of big formations, running the ball with Omar and Hampton.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: So I I could see a lot uh uh you you're gonna see a lot of Justin Herbert this year.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: He almost had uh 4,000 passing yards last year and he had 28 touchdowns.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: So the guy had a solid season, and you know, I expected to take a step forward and get into that top 10 conversation.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm glad you brought up Mike McDaniel because you know I've heard a lot of people saying he's a better offensive coordinator than he is a head coach, and I I agree he's probably gonna do some good things over there.
- 27:33SPEAKER_01: I'll talk about it in a minute, but I feel I feel like that team fits him very well.
- 27:37SPEAKER_01: Now for my number 10, I have Trevor Lawrence.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: Another mobile quarterback to round out my top 10.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: He had over 4,000 passing yards and he was fifth in total yards.
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: I feel like the Jags have an underrated offense.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: I mean, Bayeshall Tooten hasn't really proven himself yet, but he looks like a solid running back.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: And then you've got uh Brian Thomas Jr., Jacoby Myers, and Parker Washington are all solid wide receivers that have proven they can get the job done.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: And like you mentioned, they have a good schedule.
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: So I'm pretty high on him this year, and that's why I got him rounding out my top 10.
- 28:13SPEAKER_00: Now, who's your number 11, Joe?
- 28:15SPEAKER_01: No, number 11, I got Caleb Williams.
- 28:18SPEAKER_01: They have a great offensive line, good offense.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: Last year he had 30 touchdowns and close to 4,000 passing yards, and he was sixth in total yards.
- 28:27SPEAKER_01: So he actually did better than I realized.
- 28:29SPEAKER_01: Um, he can always dump the ball off to DeAndre Swift.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: He's got a Dunze and Luther Burden and Colston Ludlin, which I'm I'm really high on him this year, too.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: The only reason I feel like the consensus is a little too high on Caleb Williams, and the only pause I have is they have the hardest schedule out of anyone in the NFL.
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: So he's gonna have uh his hands full, but I feel like he can do it.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: I feel like his mind's in the right place, and um, he's got the formula to get the job done.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it's funny because I actually have Caleb Williams as my number 11 as well.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: And much like yourself, I agree.
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: Like people are taking him way too early.
- 29:11SPEAKER_00: They're expecting him to have a you know a Josh Allen like season or something.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: And you know, another year with Ben Johnson, you would think it would be great for his development.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: I think it will be.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: Um however, you're right, that strength of schedule is gonna be hard.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: They have a lot of distractions on the side with you know the Bears possibly relocating to Indiana or going to be relocating to Indiana, right?
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: So there's there's all this, you know, media distraction, but I I think ultimately um that schedule gets what takes a really long time to get better for them.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: So they're just gonna be fighting uphill for the whole season.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: So that's the only reason why he's just outside of my top 10 this year.
- 29:55SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 29:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we agree on that one.
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: Finally, we got a match.
- 30:00SPEAKER_01: Now at number 12, you're gonna like this.
- 30:04SPEAKER_01: I got Jared Goff.
- 30:05SPEAKER_01: You knew he was gonna be in my top 15.
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: Uh, he had over 4,500 passing yards last year.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: He was fourth in total yards overall.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: He is on a great offense.
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: He's been leading that offense.
- 30:18SPEAKER_01: Uh he's just been doing so well over the years.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: Gibbs, St.
- 30:22SPEAKER_01: Brown, Jameson Williams, Laporta.
- 30:25SPEAKER_01: And most of all, he has a really easy schedule.
- 30:29SPEAKER_01: So, with all of those weapons and everything we've seen him do over the years with that kind of schedule, I wouldn't be surprised if he slips into the top 10, but I got him at 12.
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, you know, it's funny, I don't I don't even have Jared Goff in my top 15, but I'm glad you gave him the honorable mention because 4,500 yards, that's pretty impressive.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: I think he was in the top three overall for for passing yards in the league.
- 30:55SPEAKER_00: So, you know, and and he's always getting drafted so late, too.
- 30:59SPEAKER_00: Like you're looking at him like rounds number seven through ten, and you're like, I can get a starting, solid starting caliber quarterback this late.
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: Why even you know, waste picks early on?
- 31:10unknown: Right?
- 31:10SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm saying.
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you can easily get him from seven to ten, no, no problem.
- 31:16SPEAKER_00: Now, for my number uh number 12, I actually have uh Patrick Mahomes coming back from that ACL injury and uh being really good.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: Um was it ACL or Achilles tear?
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: I think it was ACL.
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was ACL because he got that karma for Rasheed Race.
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: He tore his ACL the year before.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: Uh fucking teammate fell on him.
- 31:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was crazy.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: And he fell on him being a jerk, too.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: You know, like to the other to his team, not even his teammate, the other guy, but you know, karma gets you.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: Um but Mahomes, I think he's bouncing back.
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: He has a lot of targets, you know.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: Obviously, Travis Kelsey.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: Well, he doesn't have a lot of targets, he has solid targets.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: Uh, Travis Kelsey, Rasheed Rice, we mentioned him, right?
- 32:03SPEAKER_00: Uh, those are two really good pass catchers.
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: And then who knows how they're going to utilize Kenneth Walker.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: I mean, Kenneth Walker was really good on right running back schemes uh or screens.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: So I think they can scheme them in and you know give him some selected plays, but don't be surprised if Mahomes walks in around weeks number two to three, you know, takes over the starting job again.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I don't have Mahomes in my top 15.
- 32:30SPEAKER_01: Um, mainly because I just don't really know what's going on with them.
- 32:34SPEAKER_01: They're they're in a really weird place right now, Kansas City.
- 32:37SPEAKER_01: I mean, Andy Reid always seems to get it done.
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: You know, they got the guy's just a gangster.
- 32:43SPEAKER_01: No matter where he is, he makes it happen.
- 32:45SPEAKER_01: So, I mean, they have an incredible offense.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: Kelsey's one of the most reliable tight ends in the league.
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: And I still really am really high on Rasheed Rice as you know.
- 32:55SPEAKER_01: So I feel like when Mahomes gets back, he will be ready.
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: Um, but I'm just not sure what's going on with him or that offense as a whole.
- 33:03SPEAKER_01: So I want to kind of see how things play out over the first couple weeks.
- 33:07SPEAKER_01: Um, that's why he fell outside of my top 15.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: Uh, but at 13, I got your boy Matt Stafford.
- 33:15SPEAKER_01: Over 4,700 passing yards last season.
- 33:19SPEAKER_01: That was first in the NFL, and he was third in total yards.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: And you know he doesn't run the ball.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: So he's third in total yards all through the air.
- 33:27SPEAKER_01: They have a great offensive line, one of the best offenses in the league, probably the best offense in the league.
- 33:33SPEAKER_01: Got Kyron Williams, as we discussed, he's got Puka and Devontae Adams.
- 33:38SPEAKER_01: The only thing that makes me uh a little bit worried is they do have a really difficult schedule, but that hasn't seemed to bother them in the past.
- 33:45SPEAKER_01: So I'm not really worried about it.
- 33:47SPEAKER_01: I I was thinking about having Stafford higher.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: I'm glad you have him as high as you do, uh, but I have him at 13.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they have they have the fifth easiest schedule for for QB, right?
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: So he's gonna have good games.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: Doesn't mean the NFL schedule's easy.
- 34:00SPEAKER_00: Uh I'm looking at from a fantasy perspective.
- 34:03SPEAKER_00: But the most interesting stat about Matt Stafford is if you look up his rushing yards for last year, you're gonna laugh.
- 34:11SPEAKER_00: You want to know what it says for rush rushing yards?
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: It was either one or negative one.
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: It's one.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: I know there's quarterbacks that have negatives because they get sacked.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Matt Stafford does not ever run out of that pocket.
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: Well, I think I think it was something like 30 carries, which is obviously him just you know, there's nothing to do, so he tries to like fall forward.
- 34:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I remember it was it was one.
- 34:34SPEAKER_01: So all like to be third in total yards and you never ever run the ball, that's that just tells you how good he is and his team, and you know, the overall the team.
- 34:44SPEAKER_01: But yeah, the thing is, I know I know specifically for a quarterback, he has an easier schedule, but you know, if you're having those difficult matchups, sometimes the um you gotta air it out, baby.
- 34:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you gotta those hard matchups, you gotta outscore them.
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it'll turn into a grind, though.
- 35:00SPEAKER_01: You know, it depends on the score.
- 35:02SPEAKER_01: So just with that difficult matchup, we're gonna see what happens, but it hasn't stopped the Rams in the past, so it probably won't affect them very much.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: Let me ask you this if Aaron Donald unretires, which he's gonna do when he unretires, and they have Miles Gary and Aaron Donald, do you think other teams are gonna be able to like run or pass the ball very often?
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: I I feel like you know, for for the Rams, they're the type of team that likes to run up the score on you.
- 35:31SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna see them whooping teams by like you know 20 points in the first half and just still going pedal to the metal to the fourth quarter, man.
- 35:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they like the Lions in that sense.
- 35:41SPEAKER_01: They don't care, they're just gonna beat the piss out of you.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: And I'm pretty sure that Donald is gonna unretire.
- 35:48SPEAKER_01: I mean, they want a Super Bowl bad and they want him to be part of it.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: So bro, they went in all in.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: Like they got they they resourced everything out.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: You know, they had some good draft picks over the years, boom, traded them for star players.
- 36:02SPEAKER_00: Now they're back in a title contention.
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: And honestly, they're probably I mean, between the Rams, the Seahawks, the Eagles, you know, those are some really, really good teams at the top of the division.
- 36:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 36:15SPEAKER_01: You know, it's it's tough, tough division for sure.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: Now, who what number are we on?
- 36:22SPEAKER_00: 12?
- 36:23SPEAKER_00: 13?
- 36:24SPEAKER_01: No, we're on 13.
- 36:25SPEAKER_01: Who's your 13?
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: Now, for my number 13, I have Dak Priscott taking over for the Dallas Cowboys.
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: It's not the hardest, but obviously it's gonna be pretty difficult.
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: Um, but what that means for me is, you know, obviously the Cowboys are a team.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: If they're behind, they're gonna have to throw the ball.
- 36:45SPEAKER_00: And when you have George Pickens, when you have, you know, CeeDee Lamb, you know, when you have Javante Williams, you know, like you said, uh Jay uh Jay Ferguson, right?
- 36:55SPEAKER_00: So they have so much talent in so many different positions that they're that's their identity, that's who they are.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: So Dak is gonna sling the ball as long as he's healthy, he's gonna be a really good quarterback, despite the fact that he's a Cowboys player.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: You know, I'll still give him his props and keep him in my top 15.
- 37:14SPEAKER_01: I like it.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: I was actually wondering if you were gonna have him in the top 15.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: I figured you would.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: I figured you would.
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: I'm not that biased.
- 37:23SPEAKER_01: Now for 14, I have Justin Herbert.
- 37:26SPEAKER_01: I know you were a little higher on him.
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: I feel like he's just a very well-rounded quarterback.
- 37:31SPEAKER_01: He can throw, he can run.
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: He was uh ninth in total yards last year with um almost 500 of those being rushing yards, which surprised me.
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: I didn't realize he actually had that many rushing yards.
- 37:42SPEAKER_01: Um, they've got a really good offensive line, solid offense with Marion Hampton, Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnson.
- 37:49SPEAKER_01: And like you said, they they got Nojoku at tight end, so now he's got two really good options at tight end.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: Um they do have a tough schedule, but um with with all those weapons and and a healthy team, I think you're gonna be seeing some really big plays coming from the Chargers this year.
- 38:05SPEAKER_00: Some big plays.
- 38:07SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, some excitement at West Coast excitement.
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: Now, for my number 14, I'm really gonna shock you here, guys.
- 38:17SPEAKER_00: My number 14, I have a guy that just took over for his team as quarterback.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: It's probably the worst-rated offense in the league, but let me tell you, this guy is gonna give you some fancy paydays because he's literally half of the offense.
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: Malik Willis, Miami Dolphins.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: I like what they're gonna be doing.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: They're gonna try to play to his strength, so they're gonna do a lot of you know, shotgun and like play action, stuff like that, you know, and get them involved in that run game so they can respect the pass.
- 38:46SPEAKER_00: But he actually, you know, his receivers aren't bad.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: Uh, we all saw, you know, that guy, Caleb Douglas, right?
- 38:52SPEAKER_00: He's uh, you know, he made that crazy catch, but he actually made a few really good catches before that.
- 38:58SPEAKER_00: So he's he's a promising rookie.
- 39:00SPEAKER_00: They also have Chris Bell, who's coming back from AC an ACL tear back in December in college.
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: So they they have some talent.
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: I think they're gonna find a way to have him rush the ball in the in the red zone.
- 39:14SPEAKER_00: So, you know, that's gonna make some nice uh Taysom Hill like stats for you at quarterback.
- 39:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I mean he's always got Devon Achan to dump it off too.
- 39:25SPEAKER_01: You know, that's that those are like uh cheat codes when get into a pickle, dump it off to him a few times, raise that floor.
- 39:33SPEAKER_01: I don't have him in my top 15.
- 39:35SPEAKER_01: I actually I actually don't think I even had him in my top 20.
- 39:39SPEAKER_01: Um, but I hope you're right, man.
- 39:42SPEAKER_01: Because I I I like him.
- 39:43SPEAKER_01: I want to see him do well.
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: Well, don't touch him in the draft, then we'll see about that.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: Leave him the fuck alone.
- 39:51SPEAKER_00: You guys remember how to do that?
- 39:51SPEAKER_01: You know I'm gonna wait this video.
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: You know I'm gonna wait.
- 39:54SPEAKER_01: So you you just gotta take him first because you know I'm probably gonna wait for a quarterback.
- 39:58SPEAKER_00: No, let me tell you, I'm not taking him early.
- 40:01SPEAKER_00: But let me tell you, if Joe grabs him, guys, I'm gonna let all of you guys know.
- 40:06SPEAKER_00: Because I'll be like Joe, I didn't believe in him.
- 40:09SPEAKER_00: He ain't saying, and he still drafted him.
- 40:11SPEAKER_01: Well, I you know, I I try to grab one from you every year.
- 40:15SPEAKER_01: So I try to snake at least one.
- 40:17SPEAKER_00: Don't let it be that, buddy, because they're gonna hear about it.
- 40:22SPEAKER_01: Now, for my 15, to round out our top 15, I have Baker Mayfield.
- 40:28SPEAKER_01: He's a tough quarterback.
- 40:30SPEAKER_01: He had over 4,000 total yards, they got a solid offensive line, and I I think their offense is is a little bit underrated.
- 40:37SPEAKER_01: I know they've had a lot of changes, but I feel like Bucky's going off this year, as we mentioned during our running back rankings.
- 40:43SPEAKER_01: And I feel like Gainwell is gonna be a contributor too.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: He's always good with the pass.
- 40:47SPEAKER_01: And you got Meke Ubuka.
- 40:49SPEAKER_01: I think Godwin is kind of being overlooked too.
- 40:52SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm not saying he's gonna be a wide receiver one, I think he's gonna be a solid wide receiver too, but I do think he's going to produce and put up some decent numbers.
- 41:01SPEAKER_01: And then Jalen McMillan, you know, he had some flashes last year where he surprised people, and same with Kate Otten.
- 41:07SPEAKER_01: He's another one where he's like, damn, every once in a while he'd have this huge game.
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: And I know that's typical amongst certain wide receivers and tight ends, but they were more consistent than those other just flashes in the pants.
- 41:17SPEAKER_01: So I feel like Baker Mayfield has a lot of weapons and just a solid offensive line, solid overall offense, and they do have a nice schedule too.
- 41:29SPEAKER_00: I do not have Baker Mayfield in my top 15.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: I actually fear their situation a little bit, um, just because I think he's definitely my top 20, though.
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, I like Baker as you know, if he's if you're looking for a backup quarterback and you gotta play him in a couple pinch, you know, in a pinch uh a couple weeks, then you know, he could have some good, easy matchups against either the Saints or the Panthers, right?
- 41:55SPEAKER_00: Um but overall, you know.
- 41:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's one of those guys I typically do pick up just to play for a few games, and then I just keep him in because he's playing so well.
- 42:05SPEAKER_01: So I mean it it's hot and cold with him, but I feel like it's usually hot.
- 42:10SPEAKER_00: Now for my number 15, I have Bo Knicks.
- 42:15SPEAKER_00: Obviously, he uh he's coming back from uh that ankle injury.
- 42:19SPEAKER_00: You know, he's he's looking like he's already taking snaps and everything like that.
- 42:23SPEAKER_00: Um, I think they're gonna ease Bo into it a little bit more this year.
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: They have three running backs that are gonna be running JK Dobbins, you know.
- 42:31SPEAKER_00: Um they're gonna be running RJ Harvey, and now what's the rookie's name?
- 42:36SPEAKER_00: Justin Walton or something like that.
- 42:38SPEAKER_01: I can't remember.
- 42:39SPEAKER_01: I was just looking at it too.
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but uh, but whoever the rookie is, which he I'm blanking out right now, he's he's he's gonna be taking touches a lot.
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: So I feel like Bo Nicks is gonna probably take a step back from last year.
- 42:53SPEAKER_00: And I mean, that's coming from a year that he had over 3,900 passing yards, you know.
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: So he wasn't like pedestrian by any means.
- 43:00SPEAKER_00: He was actually having a really, really great year until that injury took him out of the AFC championship, right?
- 43:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
- 43:08SPEAKER_01: He looked awesome.
- 43:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but anyway, so Bonex, I mean, 11th easiest schedule.
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: Like he has some really good matchups, and then for him, his schedule kind of like the hard games come up front.
- 43:21SPEAKER_00: So it's perfect because if your players already struggling as it is, it's good to get it out early part of the season because everybody's struggling.
- 43:29SPEAKER_00: Um but you know, I I like overall his trajectory over the season, and especially if that Jalen Waddell and you know pickups that they made works out for them.
- 43:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, man.
- 43:41SPEAKER_01: I'm glad he's in your top 15 because you know, I I got him in my top 10.
- 43:44SPEAKER_01: I'm pretty high on him.
- 43:47SPEAKER_00: All right, ballers.
- 43:48SPEAKER_00: So we really appreciate you stopping by.
- 43:51SPEAKER_00: That's all we have today for the top 15 quarterbacks.
- 43:54SPEAKER_00: Uh, Joe, you got anything to tell these guys?
- 43:57SPEAKER_01: Like, comment, subscribe.
- 43:59SPEAKER_01: Let us know what you think about the rankings.
- 44:02SPEAKER_00: All right, perfect.
- 44:03SPEAKER_00: We're gonna go ahead and close this one out.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: We'll see you here again.
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: Same time, same place.
- 44:07SPEAKER_00: Uh, top 15 tight ends for your your 2026 fantasy draft.
