On the Edge of the Promise | Joshua 1
What do you do when you know what God has promised, but you don’t know all the details about how He’s going to accomplish it?
That’s the tension Joshua faces at the beginning of Joshua 1. Moses has died, and God’s people are standing on the edge of the Promised Land. God has promised to give them the land, to give them victory, and to be with them, but Joshua doesn’t know exactly what the journey ahead will look like.
God doesn’t give Joshua all the details. He gives him His promises, His Word, His mission, and His presence.
