- 1 00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:02,580 It's still real to be damaged! 2 00:00:02,580 --> 00:00:12,580 [Music] 3 00:00:12,580 --> 00:00:18,940 Wooo! Welcome everybody! Welcome to this week's This and This, this is the 4 00:00:18,940 --> 00:00:24,900 real-est show episode where 835 from Premier League's bulk, 2026. Welcome to 5 00:00:24,900 --> 00:00:32,020 this week's edition of SRTU. I am one half the show. I am Jeff Packley joined 6 00:00:32,020 --> 00:00:36,420 every single week with my coach along with Dr. Craig Franklin. Dr. Trey, you 7 00:00:36,420 --> 00:00:42,780 said it before the show we are 105 years old as a show in dog years. My friend. 8 00:00:42,780 --> 00:00:51,820 Yeah, I'm pretty sure that qualifies us for podcast AARP. I mean in theory like 9 00:00:51,820 --> 00:00:54,940 you and I could just say screw we're retiring tomorrow because we got 105 years 10 00:00:54,940 --> 00:00:59,580 and we could leave our gloves in the ring, leave our boots in the ring and just 11 00:00:59,580 --> 00:01:05,860 walk away. We had 105 year run man. I mean in dog years which even in human years, 12 00:01:05,860 --> 00:01:10,500 15 years, like I think we've said many times, we've outlasted like so many 13 00:01:10,500 --> 00:01:15,780 celebrity marriages. It's unreal. Yeah, no it actually it's funny enough. I mean next 14 00:01:15,780 --> 00:01:19,580 week will be the 60th anniversary of the still-real-est show. 15 00:01:19,580 --> 00:01:26,820 debuted February 20th 2010 and here we are February 12th, 2026 still going. 16 00:01:26,820 --> 00:01:30,540 I mean still talk about professional wrestling and yeah, I probably wouldn't 17 00:01:30,540 --> 00:01:36,380 ever guest 60 almost 16 years ago Dr. Trey that I'd still be doing this podcast and 18 00:01:36,380 --> 00:01:41,580 B, there would be enough professional wrestling for nearly every single day of the week. 19 00:01:41,580 --> 00:01:46,740 Yeah, it's also like there is a little bit of like you and I by nature are both 20 00:01:46,740 --> 00:01:50,700 people, pleasers and I don't think either what I think we both have these internal 21 00:01:50,700 --> 00:01:55,140 conversations with ourselves are like how much longer we want to go but the 22 00:01:55,140 --> 00:01:58,980 flip side of that is you and I are such you know good friends that we also don't 23 00:01:58,980 --> 00:02:04,180 want to let the other person down so we just kind of keep doing it no matter what 24 00:02:04,180 --> 00:02:09,260 but yeah, I mean the fact that like you know almost 16 years ago we had 25 00:02:09,260 --> 00:02:14,020 professional wrestling two nights a week you know and that was it and now we're 26 00:02:14,020 --> 00:02:18,420 running six days a week and usually on the seventh day God does it even 27 00:02:18,420 --> 00:02:21,340 rest because we might get an AEW paper you the last six and a half hours. 28 00:02:21,340 --> 00:02:27,540 Yeah, it's it's insane. It's insane. A lot has changed. We'll look back at 16 29 00:02:27,540 --> 00:02:31,700 years of SRT you in next week's edition of the show as we celebrate. We did 30 00:02:31,700 --> 00:02:37,060 mention at the start of the show Dr. Trey we figure we're about 105 years old as 31 00:02:37,060 --> 00:02:43,820 a podcast in dog ears and we got some unfortunate news this week Dr. Trey as the 32 00:02:43,820 --> 00:02:49,720 dog face Gremlin's son, Braun Breaker could be missing WrestleMania 42 33 00:02:49,720 --> 00:02:55,500 according to reports Braun Breaker was hurt during last Monday's Raw when he 34 00:02:55,500 --> 00:03:00,540 flipped the table over obviously on WWE Raw they said that it was during training 35 00:03:00,540 --> 00:03:06,040 nobody could actually pinpoint exactly he is getting surgery for a hernia and 36 00:03:06,040 --> 00:03:09,400 it's not like your normal hernia where it's like three months like this is a 37 00:03:09,400 --> 00:03:15,960 pretty severe surgery he received and I think like typical turnaround is about 38 00:03:15,960 --> 00:03:20,920 six months and there's currently no timetable for his return at the moment 39 00:03:20,920 --> 00:03:26,520 obviously with the way the WWE is going nowadays with unreal airing on Netflix I 40 00:03:26,520 --> 00:03:30,600 don't leave out the realm of possibility that in a month's time we could be sitting 41 00:03:30,600 --> 00:03:35,400 here and going well thank God Braun Breaker's back but as fans of Braun Breaker as 42 00:03:35,400 --> 00:03:38,800 people that have admired Braun Breaker's work since his career started on 43 00:03:38,800 --> 00:03:45,640 NXT 2.0 on television he is someone that you could easily earmark as one of 44 00:03:45,640 --> 00:03:49,800 the next big stars in WWE we you know moving forward for the next part of this 45 00:03:49,800 --> 00:03:54,520 decade and he was in line for a pretty prominent role at this year's 46 00:03:54,520 --> 00:04:01,440 WrestleMania this is a major bummer Dr. Trey I feel bad for the kid I feel bad for 47 00:04:01,440 --> 00:04:06,080 the guy hopefully he is back sooner rather than later and they are able to get 48 00:04:06,080 --> 00:04:12,680 him into a WrestleMania spotlight but here we are Braun Breaker potentially 49 00:04:12,680 --> 00:04:18,440 missing WrestleMania 42 your thoughts on the dog face grandma and son I mean the 50 00:04:18,440 --> 00:04:24,920 the table strikes again I mean it's crazy that you know in the last I mean 51 00:04:24,920 --> 00:04:28,280 really I mean you go back to JD McDonough's injury and now this injury those new 52 00:04:28,280 --> 00:04:32,920 tables seem to be causing a few more injuries than the old announced tables did 53 00:04:32,920 --> 00:04:36,640 it just sucks for Braun Breaker because like you said it was featured for a 54 00:04:36,640 --> 00:04:43,000 prominent role great storyline with the vision you know and we also saw them 55 00:04:43,000 --> 00:04:48,760 kind of like I don't know if you say plant the seeds of maybe some dissents with 56 00:04:48,760 --> 00:04:52,680 the way that the other members of the vision we're looking at Braun when they 57 00:04:52,680 --> 00:04:55,920 were trying to control him a couple weeks ago that appears in the ring you know 58 00:04:55,920 --> 00:05:02,160 after the rumble like it was progressing smoothly and for really I and 59 00:05:02,160 --> 00:05:06,600 correct me if I'm wrong or Jeff this is kind of his first significant injury 60 00:05:06,600 --> 00:05:13,240 since he came to WWE so it's kind of weird that it came from busting up a table 61 00:05:13,240 --> 00:05:18,160 of all things it's not an in-ring accident it's not a training accident it was a 62 00:05:18,160 --> 00:05:25,400 table accident so it's just so just unfortunate that it happened at this time of 63 00:05:25,400 --> 00:05:31,840 year in that situation and you're just like man like it's such because like you 64 00:05:31,840 --> 00:05:35,040 and I were talking about going back to January in December when we're doing our 65 00:05:35,040 --> 00:05:39,080 WrestleMania prediction cars like you and I were like man he could be in there 66 00:05:39,080 --> 00:05:42,880 with Roman he could be in there with Brock he could be in there with Seth he could 67 00:05:42,880 --> 00:05:47,120 be in there with punk like we you thought that he might be you know WWE World 68 00:05:47,120 --> 00:05:50,400 Champion walking into WrestleMania because you kind of thought he might beat 69 00:05:50,400 --> 00:05:55,600 punk on that first Netflix so just really unfortunate injury and timing for 70 00:05:55,600 --> 00:06:02,160 Braun Breaker but as we've all seen he's a freak athlete so I kind of 71 00:06:02,160 --> 00:06:06,280 expect him to bounce back sooner rather than later so there's a layer of this 72 00:06:06,280 --> 00:06:11,800 story that I myself have just pieced together and this is pure speculation 73 00:06:11,800 --> 00:06:17,040 there's nothing out there that is saying otherwise but late last week after we 74 00:06:17,040 --> 00:06:22,760 recorded the podcast I think it was Friday down on radio row at the Super Bowl 75 00:06:22,760 --> 00:06:28,800 there was obviously a viral clip going around of Seth Rollins and MJF talking to 76 00:06:28,800 --> 00:06:34,120 one another AW World Champion MJF big WWE guy Seth Rollins interacting with one 77 00:06:34,120 --> 00:06:37,600 other and there was a lot of pleasantries it appeared based off of how they were 78 00:06:37,600 --> 00:06:42,080 talking with one another that it was more than likely the first time they'd ever 79 00:06:42,080 --> 00:06:44,480 met I mean obviously these guys aren't like best friends they were very 80 00:06:44,480 --> 00:06:50,280 cordial nice complimentary one another and those those shots were captured by 81 00:06:50,280 --> 00:06:55,560 people in attendance and if you go back there's something where it looks like 82 00:06:55,560 --> 00:07:02,600 Rollins and MJF are backstage of this radio row and they're not doing the if 83 00:07:02,600 --> 00:07:06,000 you saw the video they're not doing like the stare down where they've got the 84 00:07:06,000 --> 00:07:09,240 mean mug and the fist up all that stuff they're just kind of shooting the 85 00:07:09,240 --> 00:07:15,160 shit and they're talking about injuries and you can't hear it very well but 86 00:07:15,160 --> 00:07:21,880 Seth Rollins says something about there has been a hiccup and I at the time I'm 87 00:07:21,880 --> 00:07:26,800 like is this a like I'm trying to listen to it and I must be like the only fool 88 00:07:26,800 --> 00:07:33,760 that's trying to listen to it and I can't fully hear who he's talking about and I 89 00:07:33,760 --> 00:07:37,280 thought he was talking about himself like oh shit Rollins has some sort of hiccup 90 00:07:37,280 --> 00:07:42,600 but now I'm wondering after seeing the story Dr. Trey if Rollins was talking 91 00:07:42,600 --> 00:07:48,760 about Braun Breaker it feels like all roads are pointing towards Rollins and 92 00:07:48,760 --> 00:07:51,880 Braun Breaker for WrestleMania and make the most storyline sense especially with 93 00:07:51,880 --> 00:07:58,320 punk and Roman Reigns not being you know they're their dance partners being with 94 00:07:58,320 --> 00:08:02,680 one another that would be like the only other thing it makes me wonder now if 95 00:08:02,680 --> 00:08:06,720 Rollins was talking about Braun Breaker to MJF and again this is just my 96 00:08:06,720 --> 00:08:10,640 pure speculation but if you go back and you watch that clip he clearly says 97 00:08:10,640 --> 00:08:15,480 they're talking about injuries and he mentioned some sort of hiccup here so I 98 00:08:15,480 --> 00:08:19,720 wonder if the T-Leaves here Dr. Trey this is just like SRTU exclusive Jeff 99 00:08:19,720 --> 00:08:24,480 Peck speculation was in fact Seth Rollins talked about Braun Breaker's injury and 100 00:08:24,480 --> 00:08:26,880 the likelihood that they're matched now for WrestleMania could be in 101 00:08:26,880 --> 00:08:34,000 being jeopardy yeah I mean it makes sense on that level the other thing you know 102 00:08:34,000 --> 00:08:38,080 I do a lot of traveling what I'm traveling I listen to a lot of podcasts and I've 103 00:08:38,080 --> 00:08:42,080 been listening to a lot of the WWE sponsored podcast whether it's the 104 00:08:42,080 --> 00:08:46,280 Stephanie McMahon one or Undertaker or Cody Rose and one thing that came out 105 00:08:46,280 --> 00:08:53,360 twice in a matter of a couple of episodes of listen to the podcast was WWE 106 00:08:53,360 --> 00:08:58,720 Unreal and you know people asking other guys like Cody asking Undertaker like 107 00:08:58,720 --> 00:09:02,920 hey so how do you feel about it how is it exposing the business and we're seeing a 108 00:09:02,920 --> 00:09:07,880 lot of this backstage stuff and something Cody said and he said it on three 109 00:09:07,880 --> 00:09:14,680 different episodes that he was on was there's a layer of working the work and 110 00:09:14,680 --> 00:09:20,780 we talked about it with you know nine months ago and Seth came back from his 111 00:09:20,780 --> 00:09:24,760 injury and how he worked the entire everybody because everybody thought he was 112 00:09:24,760 --> 00:09:29,280 gonna be out he made this big return it was all a work and you know they show that 113 00:09:29,280 --> 00:09:33,680 out of real and that's why sometimes I look at this and going huh are they going 114 00:09:33,680 --> 00:09:40,160 deeper than that maybe this is kind of a work and maybe this is not just a work 115 00:09:40,160 --> 00:09:44,840 but they're working the work and not everybody knows the actual time table or 116 00:09:44,840 --> 00:09:50,600 they actually said the injury and maybe this is a way of broad breaker and Paul 117 00:09:50,600 --> 00:09:56,280 Heyman setting up working the work where Seth faked an injury to get his 118 00:09:56,280 --> 00:10:02,120 opportunity maybe this is them working the work to present that broad will be 119 00:10:02,120 --> 00:10:06,120 back in time and then boom now he is back so like they're like and that's one thing 120 00:10:06,120 --> 00:10:09,360 about wrestling that I love is like they always kind of keep you guessing like 121 00:10:09,360 --> 00:10:12,920 once you think they have you have you once you think you got figured out they 122 00:10:12,920 --> 00:10:17,920 kind of change the landscape and change the questions so maybe the hiccup is 123 00:10:17,920 --> 00:10:22,880 bronze injury maybe the hiccup was you know Seth maybe not making it and maybe 124 00:10:22,880 --> 00:10:26,240 the masked man is somebody else where they're working the work so to speak and 125 00:10:26,240 --> 00:10:29,520 then maybe this whole thing is just setting up people like us to buy in that 126 00:10:29,520 --> 00:10:34,320 hey we're not getting Seth and Braun and then boom we get Seth and Braun yeah I 127 00:10:34,320 --> 00:10:37,680 mean the worst thing in the world is predictability in professional wrestling I 128 00:10:37,680 --> 00:10:41,160 prefer unpredictability I don't want to sit here and look like an expert and 129 00:10:41,160 --> 00:10:46,960 clearly plan out WWE or AW or TNA whoever's creative because that just does 130 00:10:46,960 --> 00:10:50,720 not make watching at home fun unless you're like anticipating something that 131 00:10:50,720 --> 00:10:53,920 like you're really really excited about and then they're basically dropping 132 00:10:53,920 --> 00:10:59,760 each rakes to get you towards that excitement I prefer to get worked because it's 133 00:10:59,760 --> 00:11:03,280 just better for wrestling fans watching home where you're like oh crap man that 134 00:11:03,280 --> 00:11:06,880 that was cool but but then again Dr. Trab I think you and I were in the 135 00:11:06,880 --> 00:11:10,720 minority who actually loved Seth Ron's not being injured at summer's thing 136 00:11:10,720 --> 00:11:13,520 everybody else was like oh you broke our hearts like you broke our trust like 137 00:11:13,520 --> 00:11:17,920 they were dating definitely we created which was just bizarre but then again 138 00:11:17,920 --> 00:11:22,400 everybody is is different and maybe folks that are watching professional wrestling 139 00:11:22,400 --> 00:11:27,440 now for the last 21 22 23 25 years are more used to predictability rather the 140 00:11:27,440 --> 00:11:30,560 unpredictable nature professional wrestling that Dr. Trey and I grew up on 141 00:11:30,560 --> 00:11:34,720 back in the day where you actually thought it was quote real rather than them 142 00:11:34,720 --> 00:11:38,920 exposing the business so yeah Braun Breaker potentially missing WrestleMania 42 143 00:11:38,920 --> 00:11:43,480 was a major bummer I'm a fan of his work I enjoy watching him wrestle I enjoy his 144 00:11:43,480 --> 00:11:48,240 character I enjoy watching him continue to go upwards everybody is figuring 145 00:11:48,240 --> 00:11:53,400 myself included the 2026 is to be a big year for him and he definitely feels like 146 00:11:53,400 --> 00:11:59,840 he's on the ashel on upwards of being a top star in WWE very very very soon so 147 00:11:59,840 --> 00:12:03,120 for him to have these WrestleMania moments as important as to his career and 148 00:12:03,120 --> 00:12:09,280 hopefully we get some clarity on his injury here in the coming weeks and months 149 00:12:09,280 --> 00:12:14,240 prior to WrestleMania 42 we'll look at the WrestleMania 42 card roundup our 150 00:12:14,240 --> 00:12:18,960 regular weekly segment now up until WrestleMania here in just a little bit 151 00:12:18,960 --> 00:12:25,280 Dr. Trey but there is internal criticism right now of triple H Paul LeVec 152 00:12:25,280 --> 00:12:28,920 whoever you want to refer to him as now I always call him trawl triple H I find 153 00:12:28,920 --> 00:12:33,240 weird people like Paul or Paul LeVec there's internal criticism that 154 00:12:33,240 --> 00:12:37,080 triple H has been changing WrestleMania plans due to the attendance 155 00:12:37,080 --> 00:12:43,040 advance which kind of lends credence to the ticketing problem that we talked 156 00:12:43,040 --> 00:12:47,040 about over the summer we'll we'll get into that part here momentarily but 157 00:12:47,040 --> 00:12:50,360 Dave Meltzer reported quote there's been a lot of internal criticism Paul 158 00:12:50,360 --> 00:12:54,720 LeVec as far as keeping changing the WrestleMania plans like Vince but they have a 159 00:12:54,720 --> 00:12:58,640 plan that they change the plan but they have a plan that then they change the 160 00:12:58,640 --> 00:13:01,520 plan and everything's up in the air because of the feeling that the attendance 161 00:13:01,520 --> 00:13:07,440 advance is down I'm not getting the vibes as a viewer at home that the 162 00:13:07,440 --> 00:13:14,520 WrestleMania path has been changing have you and your thoughts on the ticket 163 00:13:14,520 --> 00:13:19,600 advance issues for WrestleMania 42 being a factor in changing potential long-term 164 00:13:19,600 --> 00:13:24,800 WrestleMania plans right now so I will lean into the ticket advance I first 165 00:13:24,800 --> 00:13:31,080 because as somebody who deals with marketing and retail I will say that like 166 00:13:31,080 --> 00:13:36,440 even though that there are a lot of economic indicators that point to the 167 00:13:36,440 --> 00:13:41,320 economy approving I just go from a standpoint of like hey I deal in the home 168 00:13:41,320 --> 00:13:44,240 improvement industry and there aren't a lot of people who are coming out into 169 00:13:44,240 --> 00:13:48,960 stores going hey I need to drop four five ten fifteen grand on upgrading my 170 00:13:48,960 --> 00:13:55,600 house everybody's being very cautious with money right now so that in turn is 171 00:13:55,600 --> 00:13:59,200 also going to affect consumer consumer confidence in buying tickets to 172 00:13:59,200 --> 00:14:03,960 WrestleMania like if you feel like making that purchase is going to hurt you and 173 00:14:03,960 --> 00:14:09,720 your family knowing that there's going to be a WrestleMania next year and 174 00:14:09,720 --> 00:14:15,000 probably won the year after that and probably the one year for that the 175 00:14:15,000 --> 00:14:19,880 priority the urgency isn't there to jump on the situation plus it's a 176 00:14:19,880 --> 00:14:25,240 repeat venue you and I talked about this when they announced that WrestleMania 177 00:14:25,240 --> 00:14:29,520 is coming back to Vegas part of the allure of WrestleMania is going to new 178 00:14:29,520 --> 00:14:33,880 locations you've never been to so if I purchase tickets to WrestleMania last 179 00:14:33,880 --> 00:14:39,440 year in Vegas why would I need to go back to Vegas again this year to see 180 00:14:39,440 --> 00:14:44,480 WrestleMania so that is something they're battling I as far as the the 181 00:14:44,480 --> 00:14:50,040 WrestleMania card I don't feel like there's been a lot of shifting and if it has 182 00:14:50,040 --> 00:14:57,560 it's been very very subtle I do think that maybe it's not as closed at this 183 00:14:57,560 --> 00:15:01,560 point as we maybe have seen in years past there have been years you and I have 184 00:15:01,560 --> 00:15:06,600 been saying here and been like we're a month out we only know two matches it feels 185 00:15:06,600 --> 00:15:11,800 like we're trending towards a few matches kind of being announced we kind of 186 00:15:11,800 --> 00:15:15,560 feel it going there there is though a lot of uncertainty in the middle but it hasn't 187 00:15:15,560 --> 00:15:22,600 felt like hey we're really leaning into this Carmelo feud with so and so oh crap 188 00:15:22,600 --> 00:15:27,560 knee jerk now Carmelo's going to fight Ilya like it hasn't been dramatic 189 00:15:27,560 --> 00:15:32,040 shifts I think it's it's very subtle and it's leaving a lot of open ended 190 00:15:32,040 --> 00:15:36,520 possibilities for the direction heading into WrestleMania let me look at the 191 00:15:36,520 --> 00:15:41,880 card first the only official match is CM Punk versus Roman Reigns and that to 192 00:15:41,880 --> 00:15:47,400 me is a wrestling dream match when I've been thinking a lot about over the last 193 00:15:47,400 --> 00:15:50,400 ten days since they announced that match it's like this is actually pretty 194 00:15:50,400 --> 00:15:55,600 exciting this is this is this has a WrestleMania main event feel to it and even 195 00:15:55,600 --> 00:15:59,920 the two guys were in the ring with one other the year prior this feels fresh and 196 00:15:59,920 --> 00:16:03,400 new and something that I've always wanted to see in the ring so that has me 197 00:16:03,400 --> 00:16:07,560 excited that has a WrestleMania feel to it the rest of the card is a little 198 00:16:07,560 --> 00:16:12,040 bit clouded right now because when you look at even live Morgan's direction and 199 00:16:12,040 --> 00:16:16,640 I'm huge fan huge fans of live Morgan and the current women's champions of 200 00:16:16,640 --> 00:16:20,880 Jade Cargill and Stephanie Valkor the vibe that I have right now is that it's 201 00:16:20,880 --> 00:16:24,880 going to be Stephanie Valkor versus live Morgan and WrestleMania that in 202 00:16:24,880 --> 00:16:30,560 itself doesn't have me like totally excited yet I'm not like oh this is a dream 203 00:16:30,560 --> 00:16:33,840 match that would just be something where I'm like I'm really happy for both these 204 00:16:33,840 --> 00:16:37,240 women getting the opportunity to showcase in a world championship match at 205 00:16:37,240 --> 00:16:43,320 WrestleMania doesn't have that same Punk and Reigns feel to it so there is 206 00:16:43,320 --> 00:16:50,160 still room for the WrestleMania card to certainly improve but what is factual 207 00:16:50,160 --> 00:16:54,160 about both Dr. Tray and myself is that we are two people that are not going to 208 00:16:54,160 --> 00:16:57,960 be traveling to Las Vegas Nevada to go watch WrestleMania live we'll be 209 00:16:57,960 --> 00:17:03,040 sitting down on our couches with our families watching on ESPN in the comfort of 210 00:17:03,040 --> 00:17:07,760 our own homes we're not going to be dealing with it and going out there we 211 00:17:07,760 --> 00:17:10,400 mentioned over the summer when prices started to increase and we started 212 00:17:10,400 --> 00:17:16,080 seeing attendance dwindle for the TV shows that there is a ticket advance 213 00:17:16,080 --> 00:17:19,640 problem I think you hit the nail on the head Dr. Tray by saying go into the same 214 00:17:19,640 --> 00:17:24,720 place twice unless you're like this absolute die hard you maybe you know 215 00:17:24,720 --> 00:17:30,120 exhausted with going back to Las Vegas again you were looking forward to going to 216 00:17:30,120 --> 00:17:33,240 another location which was rumored to be New Orleans I mean that's what the 217 00:17:33,240 --> 00:17:37,800 rock announced and the unfortunate thing is that the year following I can't 218 00:17:37,800 --> 00:17:44,280 imagine many Americans or folks all in the UK Europe or ever are going to be 219 00:17:44,280 --> 00:17:49,560 traveling to Saudi Arabia for this show obviously there will be the 220 00:17:49,560 --> 00:17:52,400 fair share that goes but I think it would be a fraction of what you normally 221 00:17:52,400 --> 00:17:57,000 would get would it be on us North American or even if they decided to bring 222 00:17:57,000 --> 00:18:01,280 over to European soil it's going to be filled with a lot of locals and folks in 223 00:18:01,280 --> 00:18:04,520 Saudi Arabia they're going to be enjoying WrestleMania so in essence if 224 00:18:04,520 --> 00:18:07,600 you're someone who likes going to WrestleMania and you're exhausted and you're 225 00:18:07,600 --> 00:18:11,280 tired and you don't want to go back to to Las Vegas again the next 226 00:18:11,280 --> 00:18:14,600 opportunity you have to see a WrestleMania in the United States or North 227 00:18:14,600 --> 00:18:20,360 America wherever is in 2028 which is a bummer but in the same sense the way that 228 00:18:20,360 --> 00:18:24,760 things are going with tickets and how much they cost maybe I'd rather save my 229 00:18:24,760 --> 00:18:28,960 money right now for for a location that would rather go to do I want to see 230 00:18:28,960 --> 00:18:35,360 pumpkin rains absolutely do I want to see them live kind of depends again and 231 00:18:35,360 --> 00:18:37,880 maybe I'm comfortable have a WrestleMania party at my house with friends and 232 00:18:37,880 --> 00:18:43,520 family and watch it that way so the attendance the ticketing pricing there is a 233 00:18:43,520 --> 00:18:52,960 major problem with it they are is super expensive I am a someone who is is a 234 00:18:52,960 --> 00:18:58,200 middle person in the United States I'm not upper class I'm not lower class I'm 235 00:18:58,200 --> 00:19:03,320 middle class and I look at those ticket prices and I cannot justify going to a 236 00:19:03,320 --> 00:19:08,760 show right now it's it's not something that I could take my family to that 237 00:19:08,760 --> 00:19:13,440 they're they're not putting on shows that will twist my arm even to go check them 238 00:19:13,440 --> 00:19:18,240 out I'm not even looking at pricing anymore doctor try and we talked about it 239 00:19:18,240 --> 00:19:22,640 last year I mean I just kind of like took a look at the Las Vegas show from for 240 00:19:22,640 --> 00:19:27,400 WrestleMania 41 last year and what was funny is the tickets ticket price that I 241 00:19:27,400 --> 00:19:33,880 paid for for WrestleMania 29 in New Jersey would have not even gotten me into 242 00:19:33,880 --> 00:19:40,120 the last row of WrestleMania 41 last year and yeah I get it inflation economy 243 00:19:40,120 --> 00:19:44,800 changes what have you but that is so utterly disappointing if you told me that 244 00:19:44,800 --> 00:19:48,960 maybe it's the next level or even the the the highest level then I'd be able to 245 00:19:48,960 --> 00:19:53,800 be like okay you know I get it your normal ticket pricing and going up but the 246 00:19:53,800 --> 00:19:59,480 fact that it wasn't even on the radar for for something is just bizarre so yeah 247 00:19:59,480 --> 00:20:06,320 um to be as a ticket problem I don't know how it will be addressed maybe 248 00:20:06,320 --> 00:20:12,160 WrestleMania is the the the use case that the company will use but if people 249 00:20:12,160 --> 00:20:15,160 continue to go to these shows and they continue to sell out if we start seeing 250 00:20:15,160 --> 00:20:19,080 you know from a elimination chamber onwards when WWE is like this is our you 251 00:20:19,080 --> 00:20:22,720 know 12th straight television sell out heading to WrestleMania then yeah 252 00:20:22,720 --> 00:20:26,880 nothing's gonna change they're actually gonna keep going up and more people 253 00:20:26,880 --> 00:20:31,040 be priced out it's it's eventually going to become a problem for WWE again 254 00:20:31,040 --> 00:20:36,080 doctor try no matter how good or even bad their programming is it's just not 255 00:20:36,080 --> 00:20:41,480 justifiable so I'm not seeing anything yet on television of criticism that I 256 00:20:41,480 --> 00:20:44,440 could have for the WrestleMania card but obviously this is stuff that is affecting 257 00:20:44,440 --> 00:20:49,760 more behind the scenes than anything else yeah and I know we get into our 258 00:20:49,760 --> 00:20:54,680 WrestleMania card there's a couple of questions I got for you know but for like 259 00:20:54,680 --> 00:20:58,760 you said like even like the Super Bowl like you and I can't afford to go to a 260 00:20:58,760 --> 00:21:02,960 Super Bowl like as much as we you and I both I mean if the packers are in the 261 00:21:02,960 --> 00:21:07,520 Niers and yeah you and I are gonna be searching every damn website there is to try 262 00:21:07,520 --> 00:21:11,920 to find just an entry level seat for us to get into but those are you know those are 263 00:21:11,920 --> 00:21:16,440 teams that we followed our entire lives as much as I love CM Punk and as much as I 264 00:21:16,440 --> 00:21:21,480 love you know the idea of him and Roman going at it for one if I could get a 265 00:21:21,480 --> 00:21:26,040 ticket it'd be just for me I couldn't bring the whole family and then also then 266 00:21:26,040 --> 00:21:31,320 trying to look my wife and the face me like hey I'm going to Vegas for 267 00:21:31,320 --> 00:21:37,640 WrestleMania by myself that itself is a really hard sell to pull off also yeah 268 00:21:37,640 --> 00:21:44,840 absolutely that is not a very easy sell for to the family whatsoever so there you 269 00:21:44,840 --> 00:21:48,040 got some internal criticisms going on we'll see if it kind of bleeds down on WWE 270 00:21:48,040 --> 00:21:51,840 television we're not really noticing it right now but but time will tell if it 271 00:21:51,840 --> 00:21:56,480 makes its way to the viewers eye with that said speaking of WrestleMania 42 272 00:21:56,480 --> 00:21:59,560 Dr. Trey let's look at the WrestleMania 42 card roundup for this week 273 00:21:59,560 --> 00:22:04,560 February 12th still official obviously CM Punk versus Roman Reigns I talked 274 00:22:04,560 --> 00:22:08,280 about you know the segment from Monday's Raw we at 70 VaKor and live Morgan 275 00:22:08,280 --> 00:22:14,440 inch closer to what I believe that match will be not a lot of interaction on 276 00:22:14,440 --> 00:22:18,760 Friday Smackdown that made me think otherwise they had the the tag team match 277 00:22:18,760 --> 00:22:24,000 of Raquel and live taking on Jay to Cargill and Jordan Grace I still feel like 278 00:22:24,000 --> 00:22:28,120 this is going to be VaKor versus live Morgan and WrestleMania Dr. Trey 279 00:22:28,120 --> 00:22:34,440 yeah I do too by the way we mentioned Punk and Reigns is official but 280 00:22:34,440 --> 00:22:38,560 technically not official because Punk and Valor are going at it on Raw 281 00:22:38,560 --> 00:22:41,200 good point yep good point in an elimination chamber 282 00:22:41,200 --> 00:22:47,240 Brothers here in a Valor wins that we get Valor and Roman is that can Roman then 283 00:22:47,240 --> 00:22:51,720 change his mind if Valor wins they haven't addressed that yet but it's still 284 00:22:51,720 --> 00:22:56,080 technically kind of up in the air but I know really what it was they just want 285 00:22:56,080 --> 00:23:01,480 to punk on the card in Chicago more than anything else with the live Stephanie 286 00:23:01,480 --> 00:23:06,360 match and you mentioned this earlier like yeah it's cool we love Stephanie 287 00:23:06,360 --> 00:23:12,920 VaKor we we unite love live Morgan doesn't doesn't have the star power to be the 288 00:23:12,920 --> 00:23:17,960 main event women's match or will it possibly be overshadowed by Becky and AJ 289 00:23:17,960 --> 00:23:23,280 and that's a weird question for me to ask that like is the tag team division 290 00:23:23,280 --> 00:23:27,920 and the Intercontinental division may be better stacked than the women's 291 00:23:27,920 --> 00:23:33,560 the the women's division on Raw when you have Reign EO on as tag champs and you 292 00:23:33,560 --> 00:23:38,760 got Becky and AJ for their title does the Raw Women's Championship become third 293 00:23:38,760 --> 00:23:45,240 in that list of title matches it's interesting right the women's the women's 294 00:23:45,240 --> 00:23:50,920 title or the women's matches are are a little bit in flux here so yeah should 295 00:23:50,920 --> 00:23:54,760 we let's let's get into this kind of bleed to the next thing right so there's 296 00:23:54,760 --> 00:23:58,560 nothing that's expected at the moment but if we looked at some of the rumored 297 00:23:58,560 --> 00:24:02,520 slash what we are thinking right so we mentioned just ticket to women the 298 00:24:02,520 --> 00:24:07,800 women's side of things right now so Reign EO versus the Bella Twint is something 299 00:24:07,800 --> 00:24:12,080 that we were thinking on last week's show Becky Lynch versus AJ Lee even though 300 00:24:12,080 --> 00:24:16,520 it's happening elimination chamber reports are saying that that is still going 301 00:24:16,520 --> 00:24:21,880 they're still a plan for this to take place at WrestleMania as well you mentioned 302 00:24:21,880 --> 00:24:27,000 Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss out there we're seeing Nadi get some shine on 303 00:24:27,000 --> 00:24:31,480 Monday Night Raw which is awesome as well talking about the elimination chamber we 304 00:24:31,480 --> 00:24:35,040 just have Rio Ripley and Tiffany Stratton in that match right now we have four other 305 00:24:35,040 --> 00:24:41,360 positions is there any other as you kind of piece around Dr. Trey the women's 306 00:24:41,360 --> 00:24:44,720 side of things for WrestleMania is there anything that I'm missing or anything 307 00:24:44,720 --> 00:24:49,720 that you would say I think it may have changed over the last week yeah just I 308 00:24:49,720 --> 00:24:52,880 mean the Smackdown side is kind of up in the air because and we right now we're 309 00:24:52,880 --> 00:24:57,800 doing Jade and Jordan Grace but you know we got Tiffany back in the picture we 310 00:24:57,800 --> 00:25:01,040 don't know what's up with Bianca Belair because you and I both expected her back at 311 00:25:01,040 --> 00:25:07,960 the rumble does she show up in a elimination chamber to lead to Bianca and Jade 312 00:25:07,960 --> 00:25:12,480 there's rumors of the Charlotte Alexa split being at WrestleMania and just in 313 00:25:12,480 --> 00:25:17,560 theory if you do let's just say hypothetically you got Rio versus the Bellatwins 314 00:25:17,560 --> 00:25:23,000 that to me on papers probably more of a high profile match than Liv and Stephanie 315 00:25:23,000 --> 00:25:28,760 Becky and AJ probably more high profile match than Liv and Stephanie Charlotte 316 00:25:28,760 --> 00:25:35,680 and Alexa one-on-one probably a little bit higher than Liv and Stephanie and then 317 00:25:35,680 --> 00:25:40,800 would Bianca and Jade Card you'll be higher priority than Liv and Stephanie as 318 00:25:40,800 --> 00:25:45,320 well I mean it kind of feels like your Royal Rumble winner is getting overshadowed 319 00:25:45,320 --> 00:25:50,720 by potentially four other matches on the card that just seems weird to me it is 320 00:25:50,720 --> 00:25:54,480 weird but I mean we've seen that in the past right I mean how many times I mean 321 00:25:54,480 --> 00:25:57,880 would you say last year with the men right J. U. So defeating Gunther I mean that 322 00:25:57,880 --> 00:26:02,720 was overshadowed by a lot right yeah it's just it's a weird way of kind of 323 00:26:02,720 --> 00:26:06,440 putting your WrestleMania card together because to me like it's always been like 324 00:26:06,440 --> 00:26:11,920 hey who are top four people in each division and we're gonna split them and then 325 00:26:11,920 --> 00:26:15,440 that's gonna be the matches that lead into WrestleMania like who are my top four 326 00:26:15,440 --> 00:26:22,600 guys great we got punk Roman Cody and Drew there's two matches you know if we 327 00:26:22,600 --> 00:26:25,240 want to throw somebody else in there to kind of boost them up that's great but 328 00:26:25,240 --> 00:26:30,720 that's to me always kind of been like the booking mechanism for WrestleMania and 329 00:26:30,720 --> 00:26:35,000 it kind of feels like the last two years at least with certain Royal Rumble winners 330 00:26:35,000 --> 00:26:41,240 like yeah he's overheat they won the Rumble but their match is not at the top of 331 00:26:41,240 --> 00:26:45,720 the card maybe like in years past with other Rumble winners I think the issue is 332 00:26:45,720 --> 00:26:48,680 and they've been doing this for a really long time probably since as long as we 333 00:26:48,680 --> 00:26:52,320 would do in the show for the most part I think it's been kind of there's been 334 00:26:52,320 --> 00:26:58,000 times where it's changed is the Rumble gets done and you and I grew up in an 335 00:26:58,000 --> 00:27:02,640 air where the Rumble was the most important thing heading to WrestleMania like 336 00:27:02,640 --> 00:27:06,760 that was the ticket to WrestleMania in the main event match the main event 337 00:27:06,760 --> 00:27:12,320 match now there's two nights with the elimination for the month prior they have to 338 00:27:12,320 --> 00:27:16,120 act very quickly to be like all right here's the Rumble winner excitement they're 339 00:27:16,120 --> 00:27:20,480 gonna pick who it is either the night after or you know a couple weeks after like 340 00:27:20,480 --> 00:27:23,720 with Liv Morgan and then they go on to focus on elimination which kind of 341 00:27:23,720 --> 00:27:28,720 overshadows the Royal Rumble victory I think that there's a case to be made at 342 00:27:28,720 --> 00:27:34,840 times where if you want to shine back on the Rumble winner would you move the 343 00:27:34,840 --> 00:27:41,000 elimination chamber but I also think the opposite argument there is we now 344 00:27:41,000 --> 00:27:46,360 live in a generation where we've seen this for a pretty long time where the 345 00:27:46,360 --> 00:27:52,040 Rumble winner isn't the focal point as much as they used to be at 346 00:27:52,040 --> 00:27:56,160 WrestleMania and I think you could point to J.U. so you could point to potentially 347 00:27:56,160 --> 00:28:01,040 live Morgan for this upcoming year you know the year that Charlotte challenged 348 00:28:01,040 --> 00:28:05,480 Rio Ripley who is the NXT women's champion at the time is another one that I 349 00:28:05,480 --> 00:28:10,560 thought was it was from a booking standpoint like it got me excited because now 350 00:28:10,560 --> 00:28:13,680 as we see the trajectory of Rio Ripley like that was a huge deal for her but 351 00:28:13,680 --> 00:28:17,960 they've they've never mentioned that again they've never mentioned like you could 352 00:28:17,960 --> 00:28:21,760 challenge for an NXT Championship at WrestleMania was that one time 2020 353 00:28:21,760 --> 00:28:29,240 WrestleMania it just feels like the Rumble is special with fans but 354 00:28:29,240 --> 00:28:35,440 creatively the Rumble is just as equal now to elimination chamber as it is to 355 00:28:35,440 --> 00:28:42,160 money in the bank as it is to King of the Ring Rumble used to be the thing for 356 00:28:42,160 --> 00:28:46,760 the longest time and I think it's hard probably for long time fans like you and I 357 00:28:46,760 --> 00:28:52,360 not to see it that way anymore yeah by the way does live have to announce who 358 00:28:52,360 --> 00:28:57,280 she's challenging before the women's elimination chamber match no I mean they've 359 00:28:57,280 --> 00:29:01,360 never said anything I mean that would to me that makes sense right yeah there 360 00:29:01,360 --> 00:29:07,120 should be a deadline yeah you got to know who like if I win the chamber do I 361 00:29:07,120 --> 00:29:12,080 get the first pick if live has not made her first pick or am I just the 362 00:29:12,080 --> 00:29:16,760 the do I get the consolation prize whoever she doesn't pick that's who you get 363 00:29:16,760 --> 00:29:20,840 pal like it's just you know like used to be it was like yeah within the first 364 00:29:20,840 --> 00:29:24,360 week or so yeah they are announcing who it is and now we're kind of drawing it 365 00:29:24,360 --> 00:29:29,200 out a little bit it like who is live going to pick but if she draws it out too 366 00:29:29,200 --> 00:29:33,360 long it's kind of like you know if somebody wins money in the bank and they you 367 00:29:33,360 --> 00:29:36,360 know they haven't challenged yet we get to the Rumble is like what we saw that 368 00:29:36,360 --> 00:29:41,560 you know it gave me a priest a little bit but it's like it's just like you and I 369 00:29:41,560 --> 00:29:46,160 we still apply logic to wrestling and times it's kind of like yeah there's no 370 00:29:46,160 --> 00:29:51,400 logic in wrestling they're really it is kind of just we win it as we go no no no 371 00:29:51,400 --> 00:29:55,520 yeah they just win as they go so yeah the women's picture a little bit cloudy 372 00:29:55,520 --> 00:29:59,360 right now and maybe that's what people were saying internally from WWE had 373 00:29:59,360 --> 00:30:03,800 in a WrestleMania we'll see where really important people in the women's 374 00:30:03,800 --> 00:30:07,040 division because women's division is absolutely stacked in WWE and how this 375 00:30:07,040 --> 00:30:11,040 all shakes out for WrestleMania I mean the way that they are booked and the way 376 00:30:11,040 --> 00:30:13,760 that they're performing and the way that people are engaged with them as fans 377 00:30:13,760 --> 00:30:18,840 like you could literally sit here and say that if WWE wanted to do a seven or eight 378 00:30:18,840 --> 00:30:23,240 match card filled with women for night one or two for WrestleMania I could be 379 00:30:23,240 --> 00:30:26,600 like that makes a ton of sense and basically do like WrestleMania evolution 380 00:30:26,600 --> 00:30:30,760 because the women's division is red hot their storylines are really good and 381 00:30:30,760 --> 00:30:34,080 everybody is bringing them right now it's like the most stacked women's division 382 00:30:34,080 --> 00:30:39,560 potentially ever in all of wrestling I mean top down it is just filled with 383 00:30:39,560 --> 00:30:46,000 legends rising stars current top stars and people who are on their way 384 00:30:46,000 --> 00:30:51,880 upwards in WWE and professional wrestling as a whole looking at the rest of the 385 00:30:51,880 --> 00:30:56,640 rumors slash what are we what we are thinking dr. Trey we mentioned on last week 386 00:30:56,640 --> 00:31:01,320 Brock Lesnar and Oba Femme there's no real news to that right now Bronn Breaker 387 00:31:01,320 --> 00:31:05,480 versus the mask man slash to the vision turn on him we talked about Bronn at 388 00:31:05,480 --> 00:31:10,240 the top of the show maybe the Bronn Breaker spot if he's unable to wrestle is 389 00:31:10,240 --> 00:31:14,720 given a Bronson Reed Bronson Reed kind of suddenly said basically that he's 390 00:31:14,720 --> 00:31:18,280 going to be handling Adam Peterson moving forward which makes you wonder if 391 00:31:18,280 --> 00:31:23,920 if he's going to be getting a Bronn Breaker spot Drew Cody Jacob for the 392 00:31:23,920 --> 00:31:27,080 unspeaked WWE championship will kind of pause on that because we'll talk about 393 00:31:27,080 --> 00:31:31,440 the elimination chamber match here in just a moment on SmackDown which is 394 00:31:31,440 --> 00:31:36,320 this is a huge deal I saw some seeds planted for Randy Orton and Alistair 395 00:31:36,320 --> 00:31:40,440 Black on SmackDown this past week I wonder if that was a direction that would make 396 00:31:40,440 --> 00:31:44,560 a ton of sense for the Randy Orton match to help elevate Alistair Black and then 397 00:31:44,560 --> 00:31:47,520 some other matches that I'm starting to notice here dr. Trey Algrande 398 00:31:47,520 --> 00:31:52,280 Americana versus the original Elgrande Americana maybe a mass versus mass 399 00:31:52,280 --> 00:31:58,600 match there and then we saw this take place on Sundays Super Bowl Logan Paul 400 00:31:58,600 --> 00:32:03,120 was interviewing and asked about watching bad bunnies half time show if he was 401 00:32:03,120 --> 00:32:07,160 going to if he was excited for it and he said no and he kept walking and then there 402 00:32:07,160 --> 00:32:10,600 was like a report before after the Super Bowl that said like bad bunny will be 403 00:32:10,600 --> 00:32:14,600 making his return to WWE sooner rather than later and now you're starting to see 404 00:32:14,600 --> 00:32:17,680 some rumblings out there this week of potentially a bad bunny versus low 405 00:32:17,680 --> 00:32:23,160 compal match so I will add that to to the list here dr. Trey thoughts on any 406 00:32:23,160 --> 00:32:27,080 the matches that we have discussed here or anything we may have missed in the 407 00:32:27,080 --> 00:32:31,560 rumored slash what we are thinking right now for WrestleMania 42 I mean OG 408 00:32:31,560 --> 00:32:35,720 a grand americano versus you know new grande americana you could actually add 409 00:32:35,720 --> 00:32:40,320 him Bravo Reo and the Creed brothers into that as well especially if you want 410 00:32:40,320 --> 00:32:47,920 if you wanted to unmask the the new Bravo Reo and Grande and then make a new 411 00:32:47,920 --> 00:32:53,600 kind of European heel stable you know you could do that as well so you could 412 00:32:53,600 --> 00:33:00,040 always clamor in for League of Nations to come back I actually the the premise of 413 00:33:00,040 --> 00:33:05,240 it is not bad he played it once in WWE 2k then it came to life and here we are again 414 00:33:05,240 --> 00:33:09,600 oh no don't forget the Canadians we are that we had regal test in Christian the 415 00:33:09,600 --> 00:33:13,760 UnAmericans the UnAmericans yes and that was really good also it actually helped 416 00:33:13,760 --> 00:33:18,120 elevate regal and Christian out of that group so like the premise even though 417 00:33:18,120 --> 00:33:24,560 people kind of crap on it with WWE being so international like I'm sure you saw 418 00:33:24,560 --> 00:33:30,800 in triple A El Grande americano aka Kaiser is cheered OG as boo they come to the 419 00:33:30,800 --> 00:33:34,920 states it flips it's like the heart foundation and it's like the heart foundation 420 00:33:34,920 --> 00:33:39,240 in Canada is beloved it was booed in the states you can do the same thing with 421 00:33:39,240 --> 00:33:45,180 Kaiser bait and done in Europe where they're cheered in the Americans are 422 00:33:45,180 --> 00:33:49,260 booed and then come the states and flip it so the premise works it's just the 423 00:33:49,260 --> 00:33:53,820 execution all League of Nations and that was a lot of infighting and ego more 424 00:33:53,820 --> 00:33:58,460 than anything else as to like who the top guy was but yes I did love League of 425 00:33:58,460 --> 00:34:02,980 Nations and it's always funny when you hear Shamus or somebody go like oh yeah 426 00:34:02,980 --> 00:34:06,700 Rusev was my brethren in the League of Nations you're like oh you still bring 427 00:34:06,700 --> 00:34:11,580 you bring that up also okay cool yeah but yeah like I in plus we just haven't 428 00:34:11,580 --> 00:34:14,020 seen the Creed Brothers in a while and they're one of my favorite tag teams to 429 00:34:14,020 --> 00:34:19,020 watch so I miss the creeds as well so there you go there's our WrestleMania 42 430 00:34:19,020 --> 00:34:24,020 card roundups something we keep in on each and every week Dr. Tram mentioned we 431 00:34:24,020 --> 00:34:28,900 know we've been thinking drew versus Cody versus Jacob for WrestleMania 42 432 00:34:28,900 --> 00:34:34,460 triple threat match however there's a elimination chamber qualifying match this 433 00:34:34,460 --> 00:34:39,100 Friday on Smackdown on the sci fi network because of the winter Olympics it'll 434 00:34:39,100 --> 00:34:43,220 be Cody Rhodes versus Jacob of two versus Sammy Zane this is like a PLE 435 00:34:43,220 --> 00:34:49,260 match Dr. Tray yeah who do you got in this one because part of me wants to pick 436 00:34:49,260 --> 00:34:55,460 Sammy and Cody and Jacob like it screwed over again by Drew and then some sort of 437 00:34:55,460 --> 00:34:59,660 like shady stuff happens to get them in this match but I have this is the 438 00:34:59,660 --> 00:35:03,300 problem with the triple threats and we saw it play out last year with EO 439 00:35:03,300 --> 00:35:08,260 Rea and Bianco which I know you did not enjoy Dr. Tray is if we're doing a 440 00:35:08,260 --> 00:35:12,460 triple threat with elimination bra how the hell do we get there thoughts here I 441 00:35:12,460 --> 00:35:16,940 mean maybe we're not getting Cody or Jacob at a triple threat match with Drew 442 00:35:16,940 --> 00:35:22,740 at WrestleMania anymore not to try well maybe they listen to our show and you 443 00:35:22,740 --> 00:35:26,460 were clamoring for Sammy and Drew at WrestleMania was Sammy women winning the 444 00:35:26,460 --> 00:35:31,420 title maybe that's how we get there were Cody and Jacob take each other out 445 00:35:31,420 --> 00:35:37,100 Sammy ends up winning and then you get Cody and Jacob one-on-one at WrestleMania 446 00:35:37,100 --> 00:35:41,940 and Cody's not in a title match for the first time in a couple years so 447 00:35:41,940 --> 00:35:47,700 it's a way to elevate Sammy and Jacob in that manner if you go that route so 448 00:35:47,700 --> 00:35:54,260 maybe it is that like you know Sammy sneaks a win because Cody and Jake 449 00:35:54,260 --> 00:35:59,540 kind of take each other out and Sammy gets into chamber match I I've been trying to 450 00:35:59,540 --> 00:36:03,340 figure this out for a while like how do you get to if you're if your goal was 451 00:36:03,340 --> 00:36:08,740 Drew and Cody and Jacob in a triple threat match how do you get there this kind of 452 00:36:08,740 --> 00:36:11,300 throws it in mix where I'm like maybe this is kind of like we saw my 453 00:36:11,300 --> 00:36:16,300 early show maybe this is one of those changes to the WrestleMania card and 454 00:36:16,300 --> 00:36:21,620 instead of getting a triple threat match with Drew Jacob and Cody WWE and 455 00:36:21,620 --> 00:36:26,220 Triple H have sold Cody on like hey just go one-on-one with Jacob and maybe this 456 00:36:26,220 --> 00:36:31,260 is the start of the Cody heel turn and we can do Sammy and Drew because that 457 00:36:31,260 --> 00:36:36,380 match got a great reaction you know at Rumble and maybe we just go back to it 458 00:36:36,380 --> 00:36:41,620 because you know Sammy's O and 12 O 13 now against Drew and so now he's 459 00:36:41,620 --> 00:36:46,780 overcoming a streak and obstacles and we get that big baby face win at WrestleMania 460 00:36:46,780 --> 00:36:53,140 yeah it's it's interesting this is an interesting way of how this may all 461 00:36:53,140 --> 00:36:57,100 work out so I'm really intrigued to see where this match is going I think this 462 00:36:57,100 --> 00:37:04,380 is a big match for WWE television I have PLE vibes for this and it's amazing 463 00:37:04,380 --> 00:37:08,980 that all three of these people are in a qualifying match because when you look 464 00:37:08,980 --> 00:37:14,140 at some of them right now that's just like mix it's it's not even and like even 465 00:37:14,140 --> 00:37:20,300 on the women's side the way they did Rhea Lyra and then who's the Ivey Nile and 466 00:37:20,300 --> 00:37:24,700 with all due respect to Lyra and Ivey Nile it just was like how are they like 467 00:37:24,700 --> 00:37:28,860 this is not on the same equivalent of Cody Jacob and Sammy's aim for the men's 468 00:37:28,860 --> 00:37:35,420 side so it's it's intriguing as to where things go on Friday Smackdown so I'm 469 00:37:35,420 --> 00:37:39,820 pumped to watch the show on Friday and see how that all plays out speaking 470 00:37:39,820 --> 00:37:43,180 elimination chamber match Dr. Trey on Smackdown Randy Orton and Tiffany 471 00:37:43,180 --> 00:37:48,180 Stratton did qualify for the elimination chamber and then Rhea Ripley and L.I. 472 00:37:48,180 --> 00:37:52,980 Knight qualified on Raw for each of their respective elimination chamber matches 473 00:37:52,980 --> 00:37:57,260 thoughts on Orton and L.A. Knight getting into the men's match and Stratton and 474 00:37:57,260 --> 00:38:02,380 Rhea getting into the women's match. Stratton to me is the interesting one 475 00:38:02,380 --> 00:38:08,140 because you and I were thinking Bianca and Jade at WrestleMania but you know Tiffany 476 00:38:08,140 --> 00:38:13,340 got kind of for lack of a better term man handled and her matching as Jade so 477 00:38:13,340 --> 00:38:18,740 maybe WrestleMania is Tiffany's chance to kind of get over on that much like we 478 00:38:18,740 --> 00:38:23,140 saw with Biobechi and Bianca a couple years ago where Becky got the quick 479 00:38:23,140 --> 00:38:28,700 with it Summerslam and Bianca came back and got her later on. I think Rhea isn't 480 00:38:28,700 --> 00:38:33,260 just for star power more than anything else to kind of increase those Rhea fans 481 00:38:33,260 --> 00:38:41,820 to tune into chamber Randy's interesting in the sense of like if Cody's in the 482 00:38:41,820 --> 00:38:46,020 chamber match you know is that a possibility as well for WrestleMania and 483 00:38:46,020 --> 00:38:50,700 maybe who needs something else but you know in the LA night LA nice the 484 00:38:50,700 --> 00:38:54,100 perennial bridesmaid in professional wrestling right now he's kind of 485 00:38:54,100 --> 00:38:58,220 become the new Kevin Owens or Kevin hasn't won a title in forever maybe that's 486 00:38:58,220 --> 00:39:02,380 now LA night because he's never been World Champion and it's a way for him to 487 00:39:02,380 --> 00:39:06,100 get into the picture but you know if we get a Bronson Reed or somebody else in 488 00:39:06,100 --> 00:39:10,260 that match that might be where the direction for LA night goes for WrestleMania is 489 00:39:10,260 --> 00:39:16,300 maybe a Bronson Reed or you know maybe a Logan Paul again. Yeah there's the I 490 00:39:16,300 --> 00:39:21,660 don't envy WWE creative right now I mean there is so many directions WWE can go 491 00:39:21,660 --> 00:39:27,940 and there are a lot of people that are can get lost in the shuffle for WrestleMania 492 00:39:27,940 --> 00:39:32,180 right now and you want to keep a lot of that momentum going and and Orton is 493 00:39:32,180 --> 00:39:34,820 somebody that deserves to always be on the WrestleMania card until Randy 494 00:39:34,820 --> 00:39:38,740 Orton hangs up his wrestling boots and LA night is something that deserves to be 495 00:39:38,740 --> 00:39:43,900 on the upswing of you know that generational momentum change it just always 496 00:39:43,900 --> 00:39:48,020 feels like he's on the verge of finally breaking out and then it doesn't happen 497 00:39:48,020 --> 00:39:51,340 for whatever reason because the card is so top heavy and I feel the same way for 498 00:39:51,340 --> 00:39:56,740 both even Jacob and Sammy Zane right now so yeah really really really intriguing 499 00:39:56,740 --> 00:40:01,380 times for WWE creative especially when it comes to the WrestleMania card as we 500 00:40:01,380 --> 00:40:06,300 move forward here. Lastly Dr. Trey in regards to WWE for we wrap up the show and 501 00:40:06,300 --> 00:40:10,940 talk a little about AEW there are some reports out there according to body slam 502 00:40:10,940 --> 00:40:16,420 net David Finley's name has been discussed creatively with WWE with WWE 503 00:40:16,420 --> 00:40:20,500 obviously the son of fit Finley the brother of Uriah Connors who is 504 00:40:20,500 --> 00:40:24,620 performing in NXT right now he just actually left chase you and is part of this 505 00:40:24,620 --> 00:40:29,900 stable with stacks Ariana Grace and Lexus King and it looks like they're gonna be 506 00:40:29,900 --> 00:40:33,860 called the birthright because I saw some sort of report that that was trademark 507 00:40:33,860 --> 00:40:39,340 recently. The source over body slam net stated that there's no indication that 508 00:40:39,340 --> 00:40:43,580 he's agreed to a deal or is signing but he has been discussed internally and 509 00:40:43,580 --> 00:40:47,780 other WWE's another source said WWE has intentionally planted the seeds on TV 510 00:40:47,780 --> 00:40:53,500 recently with Uriah Connors in the case that does make his way to the company. It 511 00:40:53,500 --> 00:40:58,260 appeared at the most recent show I think it was new beginning for New Japan that 512 00:40:58,260 --> 00:41:02,260 David Finley was in fact saying goodbye to New Japan wrapping up there he left 513 00:41:02,260 --> 00:41:07,620 the bullet club war dogs stable he was like an unaffiliated stable for a 514 00:41:07,620 --> 00:41:12,580 little bit with like folks from from L.I.J. there's there's a lot of people and 515 00:41:12,580 --> 00:41:18,300 change over right now that that's going on with with New Japan right now Dr. 516 00:41:18,300 --> 00:41:22,460 Train some of them are actually coming to WWE so David Finley has been a 517 00:41:22,460 --> 00:41:26,100 prominent like upper mid card main event level talent in New Japan pro wrestling 518 00:41:26,100 --> 00:41:32,340 he's been wrestling for quite some time I'd be surprised if he lands in NXT but 519 00:41:32,340 --> 00:41:36,380 maybe that's the that's a good spot for him I'd love to see David Finley in 520 00:41:36,380 --> 00:41:40,140 WWE I'd love to see him in the United States period if he even came over to 521 00:41:40,140 --> 00:41:44,580 A.W. I think he's highly talented I've enjoyed the character change he's 522 00:41:44,580 --> 00:41:47,540 taken over in the last several years since coming over to the bullet club and 523 00:41:47,540 --> 00:41:51,740 then the war dogs your thoughts here on the reports of David Finley making his 524 00:41:51,740 --> 00:41:55,620 way potentially to world wrestling entertainment yeah tremendously talented guy 525 00:41:55,620 --> 00:41:59,900 like you mentioned like I remember he was just clean cut baby phase then 526 00:41:59,900 --> 00:42:04,900 watching the transformation when he joined the war dogs was really 527 00:42:04,900 --> 00:42:10,460 real I if you're the son of fit Finley man I mean God damn it your top is Helen 528 00:42:10,460 --> 00:42:14,340 you should know how to wrestle and we've seen that with your eye Connor so it 529 00:42:14,340 --> 00:42:17,460 makes a lot of sense if you're gonna go that rock is fit still associated with 530 00:42:17,460 --> 00:42:20,740 the company your brothers there why would you not go there why would you not just 531 00:42:20,740 --> 00:42:24,740 like throw him in a group with his brother get him comfortable get his feet 532 00:42:24,740 --> 00:42:29,460 wet get him used to the system and then you know break it off I I'm really as 533 00:42:29,460 --> 00:42:33,420 somebody who knows Lexus King decently well and has spent some time with him 534 00:42:33,420 --> 00:42:39,260 like I'm really excited for the the potential of the birthright stable because I 535 00:42:39,260 --> 00:42:44,460 mean you and I I mean we're old we still love legacy like we kind of love those 536 00:42:44,460 --> 00:42:49,660 family oriented stables because when they win somebody turns it's so 537 00:42:49,660 --> 00:42:56,060 exciting so like I'm excited to see where he goes and where he falls in and just 538 00:42:56,060 --> 00:43:01,380 dear God I don't know who gave his brother the name your raya because that just 539 00:43:01,380 --> 00:43:06,100 sounds like they should be doing an omniskin I've always hated that they're not 540 00:43:06,100 --> 00:43:12,220 giving like the second generation stars their birthright names yeah like 541 00:43:12,220 --> 00:43:16,260 Bron breakers should be a Steiner at this point like why is Randy Orton really the 542 00:43:16,260 --> 00:43:20,540 only one that's able to do this they did this with with Joe Hennie I hated that 543 00:43:20,540 --> 00:43:24,820 they did it with Baudalis they did it with Bray Wyatt I don't understand why 544 00:43:24,820 --> 00:43:30,540 they're not embracing the the second third fourth generation stuff I mean Cody got 545 00:43:30,540 --> 00:43:34,380 his own name Cody didn't come in under a different name that's sure yeah he was 546 00:43:34,380 --> 00:43:38,700 he was always kind of Cody now they did for a while just drop the road's name and he 547 00:43:38,700 --> 00:43:43,380 was just Cody you know that was that was legal issues right is that we say post 548 00:43:43,380 --> 00:43:49,940 of it yeah yeah but stupid but yeah like Bron Bron breakers should be Bron Steiner 549 00:43:49,940 --> 00:43:53,860 or Bron since whatever you want to go with I mean Lex's King should be a 550 00:43:53,860 --> 00:44:01,080 pillman Connor should be a Finley Richie steamboat got to be Richie steamboat in 551 00:44:01,080 --> 00:44:07,660 NXT though before anything else but yeah like Dempsey should be a regal yeah I mean 552 00:44:07,660 --> 00:44:14,140 it just it makes sense I mean hell I mean Dominic should be a Guerrero I mean 553 00:44:14,140 --> 00:44:20,460 Michael McGillicutty is still my favorite fake name for Brutal absolutely brutal 554 00:44:20,460 --> 00:44:27,020 and then when they tried to they were like they were gonna pay homage to yeah for 555 00:44:27,020 --> 00:44:31,740 him Michael McGillicutty what what was his Curtis Axel Curtis Axel because he 556 00:44:31,740 --> 00:44:36,480 got his dad's first name and his grandpa's name for a last his grandpa's nickname 557 00:44:36,480 --> 00:44:44,660 for a last name and I'm like but yeah Baudalis Bray Wyatt they do it yeah like 558 00:44:44,660 --> 00:44:49,700 we're not dumb like play you know like play into the nostalgia Charlotte Flair 559 00:44:49,700 --> 00:44:56,400 yeah didn't come in as Charlotte Johnson you know like she was a no but she was 560 00:44:56,400 --> 00:45:01,520 just Charlotte and they added Flair actually and that instance she was not 561 00:45:01,520 --> 00:45:04,820 promoted to Charlotte Flair she was just Charlotte that was when they were doing 562 00:45:04,820 --> 00:45:07,700 just like one name you know remember there was a period time they got rid of 563 00:45:07,700 --> 00:45:11,740 last names and it was just it was like share everybody was share basically 564 00:45:11,740 --> 00:45:16,540 well say what nattie nattie you know Natalia came in as nattie as Natalia night 565 00:45:16,540 --> 00:45:22,580 heart I don't think she's ever really been like what they everybody knows she's 566 00:45:22,580 --> 00:45:27,180 nattie night heart but she's never really been billed as Natalia night heart or 567 00:45:27,180 --> 00:45:32,220 nattie night heart it's nattie or just Natalia yeah but when they first when she 568 00:45:32,220 --> 00:45:36,020 first came in as part of the new heart foundation I kind of thought they 569 00:45:36,020 --> 00:45:41,020 referenced her as Natalia night heart early on just to kind of get over 570 00:45:41,020 --> 00:45:45,820 that that it's heart and then they dropped it well what about like yeah what about 571 00:45:45,820 --> 00:45:53,660 um David boy son there he was what was he D.H. Smith at one point like it's David 572 00:45:53,660 --> 00:45:57,740 heart Smith yeah I don't understand why they don't 573 00:45:57,740 --> 00:46:01,740 it's weird it's weird and maybe it could be because they have licensing agreements 574 00:46:01,740 --> 00:46:06,020 with some of the families and other ones they don't stupid it's so stupid just 575 00:46:06,020 --> 00:46:09,740 they're worried about if they go to AW and they use their real name I mean that's 576 00:46:09,740 --> 00:46:14,860 what it comes down to and who gives a shit but then you get like AJ styles owns 577 00:46:14,860 --> 00:46:19,580 his name he licenses to WWE and then now he's got it back since he's leaving like 578 00:46:19,580 --> 00:46:23,420 it's not hard to license the name like you want a contract here you want to 579 00:46:23,420 --> 00:46:27,060 work in WWE we're gonna license your name so as long as you're here we own it 580 00:46:27,060 --> 00:46:30,780 and then when you leave you can have your name back yeah if AJ styles if AJ 581 00:46:30,780 --> 00:46:34,740 styles joined WWE in like early 2000 and he would have been AJ styles but with a 582 00:46:34,740 --> 00:46:39,020 Z at the end like they did with Taz or he just would have been like Alan Johnson 583 00:46:39,020 --> 00:46:45,660 yeah Alan Johnson yes styles with a Z AJ as they'd call him or something 584 00:46:45,660 --> 00:46:49,220 anyway there you go David Finley and there's some obviously there's also 585 00:46:49,220 --> 00:46:54,100 rumors out there Dr. Trey for those who are unaware but for IWGP junior 586 00:46:54,100 --> 00:47:00,620 everyweight champion Harumu Takahashi is the time bomb time bomb is is wrapping up 587 00:47:00,620 --> 00:47:04,620 with a new Japan as well and there was some reports that they're tying them 588 00:47:04,620 --> 00:47:11,420 both to potential interest from WWE and AEW so I mean he is extremely talented 589 00:47:11,420 --> 00:47:16,660 that would be very interesting if he landed in WWE feels more like an AEW signing 590 00:47:16,660 --> 00:47:22,020 to me but we'll keep an eye out there is usually January February time frame is 591 00:47:22,020 --> 00:47:26,700 when the new Japan contracts wrap up they only sound like one year deals and then 592 00:47:26,700 --> 00:47:29,860 you start here in rumors about if they could be making it to the United States so 593 00:47:29,860 --> 00:47:33,260 now the latest is David Finley is the big one and then there's also Rumor Takahashi 594 00:47:33,260 --> 00:47:37,860 who is a little bit behind and and where he may land because I think there is 595 00:47:37,860 --> 00:47:42,460 also potential for him to land in Japan and other promotions as well so that 596 00:47:42,460 --> 00:47:47,860 Clark Conner's officially signed with AEW or is he still kind of doing both I yeah 597 00:47:47,860 --> 00:47:50,860 there's reports out there that he has signed with AEW I don't know if he got 598 00:47:50,860 --> 00:47:56,340 the graphic last night I know he wrestled alongside Daniel Garcia but he's 599 00:47:56,340 --> 00:48:00,220 also been performing in new Japan as well it feels like he's an AEW signing 600 00:48:00,220 --> 00:48:04,820 doctor strike which I mean that's that's that's somebody that you can see them 601 00:48:04,820 --> 00:48:10,020 you're you know pairing up with was a Gabe Gabe yeah they were yeah Gabe 602 00:48:10,020 --> 00:48:14,740 kid they were the mad dog in a part of that war dogs on group and in new and 603 00:48:14,740 --> 00:48:18,180 maybe and maybe that's their direction whereas some point you split up the 604 00:48:18,180 --> 00:48:25,380 the death writers and you get like the wolf pack the yeah death writers wolf 605 00:48:25,380 --> 00:48:29,400 pack you're death writers black and white and death writers ball I don't know 606 00:48:29,400 --> 00:48:33,260 yes exactly so these are just the bald members maybe maybe Wheeler you 607 00:48:33,260 --> 00:48:39,460 joins them and that is a it's it's it's Claudio Moxley Gabe in a bald Wheeler and 608 00:48:39,460 --> 00:48:44,240 then you have Pock and everybody else that has air on the other side well there 609 00:48:44,240 --> 00:48:48,720 you go perfect segue because we have AEW Grand Slam Australia this Saturday we 610 00:48:48,720 --> 00:48:52,360 will talk about that in just a second some news and notes from Dynamite last 611 00:48:52,360 --> 00:48:56,520 last night light on Wednesday night doctor try Kyle Fletcher wins the TNT 612 00:48:56,520 --> 00:49:00,480 championship back from tomorrow champ which why put the title on champ of 613 00:49:00,480 --> 00:49:05,400 then I that confuses me and AEW has been really really good lately young bucks 614 00:49:05,400 --> 00:49:08,440 of the number one contenders for the tag team titles will be taking on FTR soon 615 00:49:08,440 --> 00:49:12,960 and Tecla is the new women's champ which to me felt like something that has been 616 00:49:12,960 --> 00:49:17,480 long overdue because as she is extremely entertaining fun to watch new TNT 617 00:49:17,480 --> 00:49:20,220 champ Dr. Trey Kyle Fletcher what the hell were they thinking with 618 00:49:20,220 --> 00:49:23,720 tomorrow champ of then young bucks number one tag team champ champ champ 619 00:49:23,720 --> 00:49:27,200 contender and new women's champ Tecla your thoughts there from last night to 620 00:49:27,200 --> 00:49:32,040 you know I miss I miss part of it who was the wild card tag team private party 621 00:49:32,040 --> 00:49:38,280 they're back okay okay so parties back yay like the bucks and FTR like we can never 622 00:49:38,280 --> 00:49:41,040 go wrong with that match like those guys just put on great matches and 623 00:49:41,040 --> 00:49:45,960 they're arguably with the Usos and new day two of the four greatest tag teams 624 00:49:45,960 --> 00:49:51,240 of our generation so that's great I'm excited to see what they do with 625 00:49:51,240 --> 00:49:56,320 Tecla because I mean hey do we let you know the their little group kind of take over 626 00:49:56,320 --> 00:50:00,080 the women's division were Tecla's on top and then you know Sky and Heart become 627 00:50:00,080 --> 00:50:05,120 the women's tag champs and do they kind of run stuff so but Tecla are arguably is 628 00:50:05,120 --> 00:50:09,360 maybe the most intriguing character we've had come on the AEW women's 629 00:50:09,360 --> 00:50:14,520 scene a little while she's just different and I think people kind of embrace that 630 00:50:14,520 --> 00:50:19,000 and even though she's a heel I think people just really enjoy seeing what she 631 00:50:19,000 --> 00:50:26,200 does in the ring because it's just different really the the the knee jerk TNT 632 00:50:26,200 --> 00:50:30,200 thing just feels like they did because they're going to Australia I can't see 633 00:50:30,200 --> 00:50:34,480 any other logic why not and then Mark Briscoe comes out to be the challenger 634 00:50:34,480 --> 00:50:38,240 it's like well Mark why didn't you come out before Kyle Fletcher and get your 635 00:50:38,240 --> 00:50:43,880 rematch like why did you wait like and maybe we'll be by the time Grand Slam 636 00:50:43,880 --> 00:50:48,200 actually gets here it becomes a triple threat or a four way or something but it 637 00:50:48,200 --> 00:50:51,360 feels like they just did it for Kyle Fletcher to walk into Australia as a 638 00:50:51,360 --> 00:50:56,360 champion 100 percent which I get but then like why did we put the title on 639 00:50:56,360 --> 00:51:02,920 champa like wait he's new he's a shiny toy it was like this I was a get it I was 640 00:51:02,920 --> 00:51:06,920 excited for champa I mean it was and he may have the title back in two to three 641 00:51:06,920 --> 00:51:11,640 weeks basically too I was I was frustrated by that bucking because it was like 642 00:51:11,640 --> 00:51:14,640 oh you got to be kidding me they're just what they're just waiting on gargano 643 00:51:14,640 --> 00:51:18,400 and Candace to come in and then chop and gargano will be the tag like does 644 00:51:18,400 --> 00:51:21,440 champa not want to travel to Australia like with that should have been a match 645 00:51:21,440 --> 00:51:26,120 that I'm serious right like well I mean neck I mean the guy had major neck 646 00:51:26,120 --> 00:51:30,760 surgery and there is like if you have major neck surgery your doctors will warn 647 00:51:30,760 --> 00:51:35,120 you about long flights affecting it so maybe that's the case but that's the 648 00:51:35,120 --> 00:51:39,640 case why switch it at all and just wait until they come back from Australia 649 00:51:39,640 --> 00:51:42,920 yeah I mean I really hate bitching about AW because I'm gonna give them their 650 00:51:42,920 --> 00:51:48,320 flowers soon no show this is my show was fantastic I guess I missed the tag 651 00:51:48,320 --> 00:51:52,800 match but everything else and yeah we I questioned the booking ugly but the show 652 00:51:52,800 --> 00:51:57,360 is great other than I will say one more thing we were talking about it not having 653 00:51:57,360 --> 00:52:03,240 Brody King on the show was dumb because you you got to capitalize on the the 654 00:52:03,240 --> 00:52:08,520 crazy just you know destruction he laid on MJF and you didn't really build off 655 00:52:08,520 --> 00:52:12,360 of that and I'm reading for the reports as to why they did it I think it's a 656 00:52:12,360 --> 00:52:18,400 stupid reason yeah yeah it doesn't make any sense to me so anyway I mean any 657 00:52:18,400 --> 00:52:21,160 other thoughts there from the big news from Dynamite this past week before we 658 00:52:21,160 --> 00:52:27,160 getting a grand slam doctor try oh no I mean I'm excited still for this 659 00:52:27,160 --> 00:52:31,920 callus callus family death writer storyline is this developing because there's a 660 00:52:31,920 --> 00:52:36,200 lot of layers to that you got continental champion international champion TNT 661 00:52:36,200 --> 00:52:40,320 champion all factored into this river it kind of feels like a little bit like 662 00:52:40,320 --> 00:52:44,080 I don't want to say DX and nation but it kind of feels like when you have two 663 00:52:44,080 --> 00:52:49,440 really strong stables going to ed ed it allows for a lot of mix and matching like 664 00:52:49,440 --> 00:52:52,760 you know we were we've already kind of seen mox and fletcher mox and okada mox 665 00:52:52,760 --> 00:52:58,160 and degesia but give me pocket okada like that would be a killer match pocket 666 00:52:58,160 --> 00:53:01,680 like something's match potentials are really really exciting and I'm really 667 00:53:01,680 --> 00:53:05,760 looking for the words goes I'm and I'm like surprise that you like this 668 00:53:05,760 --> 00:53:11,360 because this is like something you hate words it's he'll versus heel stables and 669 00:53:11,360 --> 00:53:16,720 deathwriters are being cheered and then in the later part of the show they're 670 00:53:16,720 --> 00:53:23,400 back to full blown heels when they're in the ring with orange Cassidy and and 671 00:53:23,400 --> 00:53:27,760 Roderick strong yeah I don't like the consistency in it it you mean 672 00:53:27,760 --> 00:53:31,600 inconsistency yes I don't like yeah I don't like the inconsistency in it 673 00:53:31,600 --> 00:53:34,160 because I kind of feel like look if we're going this rod just make them all baby 674 00:53:34,160 --> 00:53:38,400 facing like at this point I kind of feel like the orange Cassidy Tony Storm match 675 00:53:38,400 --> 00:53:45,040 with the head their hair versus hair is kind of a blow off for the deathwriters 676 00:53:45,040 --> 00:53:48,760 to see the light and maybe become full fledg good guys I think this is just for 677 00:53:48,760 --> 00:53:52,240 Wheeler you didn't get a haircut I mean you're god I mean it looks like the 678 00:53:52,240 --> 00:53:57,000 uniformer so I mean I'm fine with it like I think he was on a show called the 679 00:53:57,000 --> 00:53:59,920 master wrestler and was revealed I'm like did he even really need a mask 680 00:53:59,920 --> 00:54:03,280 you could just put the hair in from his face and you would have never seen his eyes 681 00:54:03,280 --> 00:54:07,960 wait who Wheeler you to was yeah what what are you talking about what is that there's 682 00:54:07,960 --> 00:54:12,840 a show called the master wrestler where they kind of it's kind of like the 683 00:54:12,840 --> 00:54:17,120 mass magician where they kind of show some of the behind the scenes like how do 684 00:54:17,120 --> 00:54:20,960 you make stuff work type stuff and you to what's the guy on the master 685 00:54:20,960 --> 00:54:25,320 wrestler what channel I will find I will find it for you I will send it to you 686 00:54:25,320 --> 00:54:28,880 I'm so intrigued by this I did not hear this this is the thing from like the 687 00:54:28,880 --> 00:54:34,320 early 2000s no this is the thing from like it's Wheeler you to early 2000 Wheeler 688 00:54:34,320 --> 00:54:38,680 you was like six no no you do you remember that show there was like the someone who 689 00:54:38,680 --> 00:54:43,360 like let all wrestling secrets out yeah but that that was played off of like 690 00:54:43,360 --> 00:54:47,680 the magician shows with a magician secrets so but they still they still pop 691 00:54:47,680 --> 00:54:51,560 that up from time to time and I read about it was like oh yeah Wheeler you to 692 00:54:51,560 --> 00:54:55,640 the unmasked and he got in in character still kind of like you know did a 693 00:54:55,640 --> 00:55:01,400 cave they type you know it or like promo on the guy who en masse them but yeah like 694 00:55:01,400 --> 00:55:08,400 I'll find it in synonym yeah please so all right so there you go there's this 695 00:55:08,400 --> 00:55:11,840 past week's edition of like perplexed by this whole mass wrestler thing I was 696 00:55:11,840 --> 00:55:17,040 taking a look for it we've AW Grand Slam Australia this Saturday it'll be 697 00:55:17,040 --> 00:55:20,600 airing obviously late here in the United States at eight o'clock at night it's 698 00:55:20,600 --> 00:55:23,600 normal normal time it will not be airing live because I think it would be like it 699 00:55:23,600 --> 00:55:27,980 three a.m. here in the United States this card is stacked up to try I mean this 700 00:55:27,980 --> 00:55:30,840 looks like a pay-per-view you've got orange Cassie and Tony Storm versus 701 00:55:30,840 --> 00:55:35,000 Wheeler Udom Reignership here and that mixed tornado tag team match with the loser 702 00:55:35,000 --> 00:55:39,040 of the fall most have their head shape bald you have Hagman and a page versus 703 00:55:39,040 --> 00:55:43,400 Andrade Alito I'll eat it all over the winner or receive an AW World Championship 704 00:55:43,400 --> 00:55:47,520 match of revolution John Moxley versus Kenos Ketekeship for the AW Continental 705 00:55:47,520 --> 00:55:51,200 Championship the Babes of Wrath Harley-Carly Cameron and Will O'Knighton 706 00:55:51,200 --> 00:55:54,840 guilt taken on megabad of Megan Payne and Penelope Ford for the AW Women's 707 00:55:54,840 --> 00:55:58,640 World Tite Team Championship Kyle Fletcher defends the TNT Championship in a 708 00:55:58,640 --> 00:56:02,480 ladder match against Mark Berskell and then you've MJF defend the AW World 709 00:56:02,480 --> 00:56:07,760 Championship against Brody King Dr. Trey I mean this this is stacked for a regular 710 00:56:07,760 --> 00:56:12,480 television card yeah I mean it's it's for lack of a very 711 00:56:12,480 --> 00:56:16,800 full loaded which I believe is also a pay-per-view name from WWE back of the day 712 00:56:16,800 --> 00:56:23,600 but yeah like it's I mean it's a killer card I mean there's not every match has 713 00:56:23,600 --> 00:56:27,360 me at least interested or just on paper like even if I'm not that interested I 714 00:56:27,360 --> 00:56:31,080 know the work rates can be fantastic so it's like FT on the bucks like yeah there's 715 00:56:31,080 --> 00:56:34,880 a little bit of storyline but in reality it's more about just two of the greatest 716 00:56:34,880 --> 00:56:38,320 tag teams of all time going at it the hair versus hair match like wait wait wait wait 717 00:56:38,320 --> 00:56:45,120 the box and FT are oh no I'm sorry I my brain froze sorry like I'm I'm still 718 00:56:45,120 --> 00:56:49,520 excited about those two guys those two teams facing off but like the hair versus 719 00:56:49,520 --> 00:56:53,760 hair match we haven't had a hair versus hair match I think since edge in Kurt 720 00:56:53,760 --> 00:56:58,880 Angle like I can't think of one since or somebody got their head shake so like 721 00:56:58,880 --> 00:57:04,080 that's something that hasn't been done on a major brand in like 20 years so I'm 722 00:57:04,080 --> 00:57:08,960 excited to see where that goes like Brody King and MJF like how do you play this 723 00:57:08,960 --> 00:57:15,080 off Brody King looked unstoppable last week what does MJF do to counter this 724 00:57:15,080 --> 00:57:19,520 like I'm intrigued by the matches on the show moxley and ticaccia like that's 725 00:57:19,520 --> 00:57:23,840 no two of the best wrestlers in the world in their styles like you want some 726 00:57:23,840 --> 00:57:27,840 strong hard hitting style that's a match for you so like yeah I'm really 727 00:57:27,840 --> 00:57:31,560 excited for the show like I'm gonna make sure that I'm sitting down in front of 728 00:57:31,560 --> 00:57:36,920 my TV watching it on either HBO Max or on TNT like I'm I'm really excited to 729 00:57:36,920 --> 00:57:41,800 yeah TNT yeah I'm really excited for the show yeah and it's it's free so that's 730 00:57:41,800 --> 00:57:46,080 enough for me and it should be fun what which match are you looking forward to the 731 00:57:46,080 --> 00:57:51,360 most I was really looking forward to the hair versus hair match until you said 732 00:57:51,360 --> 00:57:55,520 the loser of the match that the word takes the pinfall gets their head I thought it 733 00:57:55,520 --> 00:57:58,800 was whichever team lost because I was really want to see one the women get 734 00:57:58,800 --> 00:58:03,040 shaved ball but now I'm like okay yeah that kind of gives away it's gonna be you know 735 00:58:03,040 --> 00:58:07,280 they're they're just yeah this is just to give you will or you to head haircut I 736 00:58:07,280 --> 00:58:13,660 think mox and and mox like the Brody King MJF matches in tree I just don't think 737 00:58:13,660 --> 00:58:17,440 they're gonna pull the trigger on Brody King going over no but mox and to 738 00:58:17,440 --> 00:58:23,760 Keshda should be just a banger hard hitting just really really good match so 739 00:58:23,760 --> 00:58:27,200 that's probably the one I'm looking forward to the most on the show is just 740 00:58:27,200 --> 00:58:30,520 watching those two guys go at it and then just last I just want to say that I 741 00:58:30,520 --> 00:58:34,720 think AW is doing some of its best working a long time I've I've really enjoyed 742 00:58:34,720 --> 00:58:38,160 their show I know we trashed the TNT championship stuff and and rightfully so I mean 743 00:58:38,160 --> 00:58:45,760 that was just not well planned so that's that's really it I mean everything else 744 00:58:45,760 --> 00:58:51,480 is making a lot of lot of sense and oh that's where of osprey segments you mean 745 00:58:51,480 --> 00:58:57,680 omega omega yes we're sorry I got osprey the brain what's going on sit down sit down 746 00:58:57,680 --> 00:59:02,480 for a second young box and FTR how to remember I'm running two companies 747 00:59:02,480 --> 00:59:07,600 right now no no no don't let the other companies hear this I've got a sick 748 00:59:07,600 --> 00:59:13,840 toddler like oh no this is hard yeah no believe me I mean it's it's crazy right now 749 00:59:13,840 --> 00:59:18,840 but yeah like I just am worried about your diabetes no I was and no I got a I got 750 00:59:18,840 --> 00:59:23,920 the little thing to monitor it now okay okay on your phone yeah the little 751 00:59:23,920 --> 00:59:27,480 implant goes in your arm and you check with your phone like oh we should add this 752 00:59:27,480 --> 00:59:30,520 as a feature of earth the patreon page people could follow your your blood 753 00:59:30,520 --> 00:59:34,040 sugar throughout the day my blood sugar levels yes and then and then get we get 754 00:59:34,040 --> 00:59:42,360 random messages to tell me to eat or not yes yes if you spend four bucks just 755 00:59:42,360 --> 00:59:45,440 lecture Dr. Treyow where he should have a lunch because it sugars too high 756 00:59:45,440 --> 00:59:50,320 somewhere some where Eric Darcy and EJ read just signed up thank you guys but 757 00:59:50,320 --> 00:59:56,480 yeah but no moxley excuse me the swerve omega stuff like I'm not a big fan of 758 00:59:56,480 --> 01:00:01,760 baby baby type stuff and because you said Darcy now I have boyfriend stuck in my 759 01:00:01,760 --> 01:00:06,840 head but yeah like it's like okay this this could be interesting because it's 760 01:00:06,840 --> 01:00:12,240 kind of similar to the Jacob Cody stuff and not that you know it's just baby 761 01:00:12,240 --> 01:00:16,360 face baby face one guy's kind of crazy and one guy's kind of the face of your 762 01:00:16,360 --> 01:00:20,640 company is kind of interesting they've gone this route but it's all about 763 01:00:20,640 --> 01:00:24,880 getting to MJF and I think that's I saw MJ have an air you said like the fact 764 01:00:24,880 --> 01:00:29,400 that they've got it now is where all these guys are fighting to get to him makes 765 01:00:29,400 --> 01:00:36,240 that AEW world title all the more as much of a goal as possible it puts on a 766 01:00:36,240 --> 01:00:41,600 higher plan so maybe then it's been in years past yeah yeah I would agree it's 767 01:00:41,600 --> 01:00:44,680 it's and it's with the right players I mean that's what's like most 768 01:00:44,680 --> 01:00:48,640 important and there was even with hangman hole in title coming out of all in 769 01:00:48,640 --> 01:00:52,080 after defeat moxley was like man what are they gonna do with him I don't even 770 01:00:52,080 --> 01:00:55,440 know who he's involved with a ton of injuries stuff like that but they've got a 771 01:00:55,440 --> 01:00:58,800 lot of the right players right now and I have enjoyed watching someone like 772 01:00:58,800 --> 01:01:04,800 Andrade Alito low get a little bit more shine so AW Grand Slam Austria this 773 01:01:04,800 --> 01:01:09,600 Saturday on TNT with that said let's close up shop here on this week's
