- 0:00Speaker 1: H and welcome to Believe in the Journey podcast. Listen.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I am stepping in tonight for my podcast sister, Ms.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Patrice Gremboro. She is out in the cold with the
- 0:59Speaker 1: with their daughter doing the Christmas parade, So y'all pray
- 1:03Speaker 1: for them while they're out there, giving some holiday cheer
- 1:06Speaker 1: to each and every person that is out there bearing
- 1:08Speaker 1: the colds. Because I can't do it. She is much
- 1:11Speaker 1: better than me, and I'm so glad my kids are
- 1:14Speaker 1: older now that I don't have to be at the parade,
- 1:17Speaker 1: but I do got some grants. But anyway, thank you
- 1:19Speaker 1: guys for tuning in tonight. I'm not gonna be before
- 1:22Speaker 1: you long, I promise you. I am a little under
- 1:25Speaker 1: the weather of myself, but God willing and God provides
- 1:28Speaker 1: the strength that I need. So if you hear me
- 1:30Speaker 1: barking like a little dog, it's just a call, so
- 1:32Speaker 1: excuse that. Okay, all right, But before we do anything,
- 1:36Speaker 1: we're gonna go to God in prayer, and then we're
- 1:38Speaker 1: gonna talk to my big sister and mentor, Miss Angela Smith,
- 1:42Speaker 1: and we're gonna see what she's been up to besides
- 1:44Speaker 1: helping us be the greatest that we are. All right,
- 1:47Speaker 1: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for bringing us together as
- 1:49Speaker 1: you do each and every night, as we come before you.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Let the words of my mouth be humbling to the
- 1:54Speaker 1: ears that need to hear, and let anything that I
- 1:56Speaker 1: say touch them in the way that you see fit.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I love you, and I adore you, and I thank
- 2:01Speaker 1: you for everything that you have done for me and
- 2:03Speaker 1: my family, keeping us safe and protected, and keeping the
- 2:06Speaker 1: ones that are connected to us, providing the strength and
- 2:08Speaker 1: everything that they need to get through each and everything
- 2:11Speaker 1: that they are facing. Because there is nothing that you
- 2:13Speaker 1: don't know that we're going through that you cannot handle.
- 2:16Speaker 1: So we just need to take our hands off of
- 2:18Speaker 1: it and leave it in your hands, because only you
- 2:21Speaker 1: can do what you can do in your precious and
- 2:23Speaker 1: holy name Jesus, I pray amen. Excuse me, y'all. That's
- 2:29Speaker 1: the little dog that I keep telling y'all it's gonna
- 2:31Speaker 1: be barking, so but please come on up. Queen sister,
- 2:37Speaker 1: Oh girl, hey, how are you?
- 2:44Speaker 2: I'm good?
- 2:46Speaker 1: You laughing at me talking about my little doggie. This
- 2:52Speaker 1: coffee guy sounds like a dog. I swear it does
- 3:01Speaker 1: this cough. I swear has been kicking my butt for
- 3:04Speaker 1: about a week, and I've gone to the doctor that
- 3:07Speaker 1: gave me some cough medicine. I couldn't take that cough
- 3:09Speaker 1: medicine and do the show tonight because I'd be somewhere
- 3:11Speaker 1: in the corner sweep. So I made sure that I
- 3:15Speaker 1: did not take that, but I took the other one,
- 3:17Speaker 1: so hopefully it won't ruin the show tonight. But I
- 3:22Speaker 1: don't really have a topic of discussion tonight, but I
- 3:26Speaker 1: do want to talk briefly about grief during the holidays,
- 3:32Speaker 1: because you know, a lot of us have lost loved
- 3:35Speaker 1: ones this year and even last year, and going through
- 3:39Speaker 1: the holidays is a tough time because you're missing those
- 3:42Speaker 1: loved ones in a way that is a little different,
- 3:46Speaker 1: but you want to remember them. And I'm missing my
- 3:52Speaker 1: mom today. Something happened earlier today, and my mom loved
- 3:58Speaker 1: to be outside. She loved to be outside during the cold.
- 4:01Speaker 1: And I was coming back in the house and I
- 4:05Speaker 1: thought I closed the door all the way, but as
- 4:08Speaker 1: soon as I got halfway through the living room, the
- 4:11Speaker 1: door swung back open, and I'm like, okay, look here, Maa,
- 4:14Speaker 1: today is not the day. It's too cold for me
- 4:17Speaker 1: to be in this air so we're gonna close this dough.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I'm going over here and sit down, but I'll open
- 4:22Speaker 1: the window for you. But we're not doing this. But
- 4:29Speaker 1: I was also in the car and it's a conversation
- 4:32Speaker 1: that I recorded with my mama, And as I was
- 4:36Speaker 1: listening to my music, her voice came on and I'm like, Okay,
- 4:41Speaker 1: what is it that you're trying to tell me today?
- 4:43Speaker 1: Because you have really been on me. So I think
- 4:47Speaker 1: grief during the holidays is one of the toughest times.
- 4:51Speaker 1: How do you feel about that?
- 4:54Speaker 2: Wow, and that you pick a topic like that for today.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Today it's actually my cousin's birthday. He's been gone I
- 5:11Speaker 3: think two three years now. He was like my big brother.
- 5:14Speaker 3: He was like my first cousin. I remember the last
- 5:18Speaker 3: time I saw him here in Atlantah.
- 5:23Speaker 2: We were out at the park. We always did the
- 5:25Speaker 2: part thing.
- 5:26Speaker 3: People always said that either they thought we were boyfriend
- 5:31Speaker 3: and girlfriend or either they thought we were siblings. Those
- 5:36Speaker 3: are the two things that we often got confused as.
- 5:42Speaker 3: So today was one of those days. And this month
- 5:46Speaker 3: alone is its rough for me because my mom's birthday
- 5:51Speaker 3: was December the fourth, m HM, and and it just
- 5:56Speaker 3: be hard.
- 5:57Speaker 2: But I thank God for his word. I thank him because.
- 6:05Speaker 3: I look back over, you know, growing up and how
- 6:09Speaker 3: my mom made sure that I was rooted and grounded
- 6:14Speaker 3: in the word. You know, even if she didn't go
- 6:16Speaker 3: to church, she would send me to church. And it's
- 6:19Speaker 3: like my mom was preparing me for those days that
- 6:24Speaker 3: she was not.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Going to be here.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Because oft the time, I remember conversations that she and
- 6:30Speaker 3: I would have and I would be like, why are
- 6:32Speaker 3: we having conversations like this? You know, I was like
- 6:35Speaker 3: nine ten eleven. Remind you, I lost my mom twelve
- 6:38Speaker 3: days after my sixteenth birthday. So at nine ten and eleven,
- 6:42Speaker 3: we having these conversations that you know, I'm like, Okay,
- 6:47Speaker 3: a lot of this was going over my head. But
- 6:49Speaker 3: now that I look back, I thank God that he
- 6:52Speaker 3: prepared my mom enough to prayer me for those days
- 6:56Speaker 3: that she would not be here. So having those memories,
- 7:01Speaker 3: having those things that you know, I can carry on.
- 7:05Speaker 3: You know, oftentimes God would drop things in my spirit
- 7:08Speaker 3: through a book and it would be something that my
- 7:10Speaker 3: mom shared with me, and I'm able to share that
- 7:13Speaker 3: with somebody. You know, it's keeping those memories alive in
- 7:17Speaker 3: those things. I was telling Shannette because oftentimes Seanette and
- 7:21Speaker 3: I often talk about grief because you know, she lost
- 7:24Speaker 3: her son. Yeah, I've been around a lot of people
- 7:29Speaker 3: that have lost loved ones, and I thank God for
- 7:33Speaker 3: our prayer line because that hasn't really been a strength,
- 7:40Speaker 3: a source of strength for us to be able to
- 7:44Speaker 3: go on and lift each other up and just call
- 7:48Speaker 3: out each other names and just know that we have
- 7:51Speaker 3: someone else that's going through similar things. So that that's
- 7:56Speaker 3: that's how I deal.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I work. I keep pressing.
- 8:01Speaker 3: I try to remember the good times, and I try
- 8:06Speaker 3: to create, you know, stuff that will keep that memory alive.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Like my brother just passed the twenty second of this month,
- 8:16Speaker 3: would be sixty days. You know, his birthday was October
- 8:23Speaker 3: the eighth, and I wanted to keep his memory alive.
- 8:29Speaker 2: So I did a magazine. I honored him in a magazine.
- 8:34Speaker 3: I honored him inside a book that I published. So
- 8:38Speaker 3: it's ways that can keep their memory alive. Because we
- 8:43Speaker 3: also have to remember the word, and we also have
- 8:47Speaker 3: to understand that energy and spirit never dies, that our
- 8:52Speaker 3: loved ones are still here. They may not be here physically,
- 8:54Speaker 3: we may not be able to physically touch them, be
- 8:57Speaker 3: able to physically hear them, but they still communicate to us.
- 9:02Speaker 3: They still oh so much alive and we have to
- 9:08Speaker 3: keep those memories alive. So, Trevita, I know you lost
- 9:14Speaker 3: your mom and that was my friend, that was my
- 9:18Speaker 3: purple lip friend.
- 9:21Speaker 2: What are some of.
- 9:22Speaker 3: The things that you have done to how to keep
- 9:27Speaker 3: her memory alive? Because I tell you, she impact our
- 9:33Speaker 3: lives so much in such a short time. You know,
- 9:37Speaker 3: you would think that she had been a part of
- 9:40Speaker 3: my life for a while, and I thank God for
- 9:44Speaker 3: the time that we did have with her. So if
- 9:48Speaker 3: you would share a little bit about my friend, Afridia, Well.
- 9:55Speaker 1: One thing I can say that I do to keep
- 9:58Speaker 1: my mom's memory alive, and that is her silliness, her laughter.
- 10:04Speaker 1: It was very contagious because you know my mom, she
- 10:08Speaker 1: was definitely she would find a way to joke, even
- 10:14Speaker 1: in the serious of moments and I'm like, ma, we're
- 10:17Speaker 1: supposed to be being serious right now. And her favorite
- 10:22Speaker 1: thing to say an excuse the language, but her favorite
- 10:26Speaker 1: thing to say was always anytime I was feeling down
- 10:29Speaker 1: or whatever, and she would say, well, you know, shit happens,
- 10:32Speaker 1: and I'm like, yeah, Mama, I do, I know it does.
- 10:37Speaker 1: So whenever I'm feeling, you know, overwhelmed with anything that
- 10:42Speaker 1: I can't handle. I always refer back to that and
- 10:47Speaker 1: be like, yeah, okay, this is this is one of
- 10:49Speaker 1: those moments where it happens and I just have to
- 10:52Speaker 1: go with the flow. But I, like you were saying
- 10:56Speaker 1: about how our moms were teaching us things before we
- 11:00Speaker 1: realized what they were teaching us. And I didn't realize
- 11:04Speaker 1: my mom was teaching me a lot about life without
- 11:08Speaker 1: her and how to live without her, long before I
- 11:10Speaker 1: realized I was gonna have to actually do that, because
- 11:14Speaker 1: as a little girl, it was always, you know, I
- 11:20Speaker 1: would have her for a good three to six months,
- 11:23Speaker 1: and then she disappeared, and then she'd come back, and
- 11:26Speaker 1: then I would have her again for the same amount
- 11:29Speaker 1: of time. And then as I got older and she
- 11:31Speaker 1: moved in with me and my kids fathered my ex
- 11:35Speaker 1: husband now and she would live with us, and my
- 11:38Speaker 1: kids got used to her, and so on and so forth.
- 11:41Speaker 1: And my mom. I'm a little upset with her for
- 11:44Speaker 1: one little thing though, and that is she took that
- 11:47Speaker 1: fry chicken recipe with her to the grave. She did
- 11:50Speaker 1: not share that chicken recipe, and even my daughter tried
- 11:55Speaker 1: to get it out of her, and she was like, no,
- 11:58Speaker 1: I'm not telling y'all what my recipe is. And so
- 12:04Speaker 1: it's a story of her and my youngest son. You know,
- 12:09Speaker 1: I deal with kyr my information and my mom had
- 12:12Speaker 1: had a stroke in twenty fourteen.
- 12:15Speaker 4: And.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I was, you know, trying to take care of her
- 12:21Speaker 1: and take care of my son and take care of
- 12:23Speaker 1: myself at the same time. And so my mom was like, Okay,
- 12:25Speaker 1: you're tired, go lay down, Go take you a nap.
- 12:29Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay, well you and Nathan don't do
- 12:32Speaker 1: anything while I'm going to take me a nap. Well,
- 12:35Speaker 1: I'm in there taking a nap. I smell potatoes and onions.
- 12:40Speaker 1: So I get up, and I'm Nathan is probably about
- 12:43Speaker 1: nine or ten at this time, and I'm like, why
- 12:46Speaker 1: am I smelling potatoes and onions? So I get up.
- 12:49Speaker 1: My mom had finally gotten enough strength to where she
- 12:53Speaker 1: could use her left side because the stroke had done
- 12:57Speaker 1: a number on her right side, which was my mom's dominance.
- 13:01Speaker 1: So she had got herself to the kitchen to peel
- 13:05Speaker 1: these potatoes and slice these onions. And my son is
- 13:09Speaker 1: standing beside her, and they looking at me like I'm
- 13:12Speaker 1: in the wrong spot, and I'm like, what are y'all doing?
- 13:16Speaker 1: And they're like, well, we fixing some potatoes and onions.
- 13:19Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay, but who cut the potatoes? And
- 13:23Speaker 1: my son looking at my mama and I'm like, don't
- 13:25Speaker 1: look at her, and he looking at and she looking
- 13:28Speaker 1: at him, and she like, don't say nothing. Don't say nothing.
- 13:31Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay, who did it? And they're like, well, okay, collectively,
- 13:36Speaker 1: we got it done. And you supposed to be taking
- 13:39Speaker 1: a nap. I said, I was taking a nap, but
- 13:42Speaker 1: you two in the kitchen doing something you not supposed
- 13:45Speaker 1: to be doing. What are y'all doing? Just go back
- 13:49Speaker 1: and lay down. So, needless to say, them two could
- 13:52Speaker 1: not be trusted alone. And that's one of the things
- 13:57Speaker 1: that even before my mom left and everything, her and
- 14:01Speaker 1: Nathan would have a conversation about me. They would always
- 14:06Speaker 1: get together and say, okay, well, you know your mama
- 14:09Speaker 1: don't listen, or you know your daughter, don't listen. And
- 14:12Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm right here. I hear both of y'all
- 14:14Speaker 1: talking about me. They're like, yeah, we know you just
- 14:17Speaker 1: don't you hot headed, you don't listen. So that's one
- 14:22Speaker 1: way that I really and truly keep my mom's memory
- 14:26Speaker 1: alive because my son is always he's like, you know,
- 14:28Speaker 1: Granny wouldn't like you over here doing all his waning
- 14:31Speaker 1: in crime. But if you need to get it out,
- 14:34Speaker 1: you get it out. But she gonna tell you shut
- 14:36Speaker 1: it up. So but one other thing I can say
- 14:41Speaker 1: that I have that is coming up. I am writing
- 14:44Speaker 1: a book in in memory of my mom and it
- 14:50Speaker 1: is called From Fracture to Fulfilled The Healing Journey with
- 14:53Speaker 1: my Mom, and it will be released on her birthday,
- 14:56Speaker 1: which is July the fifth. So I'm going to to
- 15:00Speaker 1: honor her in that And when I tell you, it's
- 15:04Speaker 1: taken me back. So that's one of the things that
- 15:07Speaker 1: you know, you don't realize how many memories you have
- 15:11Speaker 1: of a person until you're going through and you're writing
- 15:13Speaker 1: those things down. And a lot of those things were
- 15:18Speaker 1: not very good things. But at the same time it
- 15:23Speaker 1: helps me to heal even more in places where I
- 15:28Speaker 1: thought I had healed. You know, but my Mama was
- 15:32Speaker 1: a riot. If you met her, you would fall in
- 15:35Speaker 1: love with her. She did not meet a stranger in
- 15:39Speaker 1: any capacity. That lady is just something else. She did
- 15:45Speaker 1: not mean no stranger.
- 15:48Speaker 3: I tell you, I remember we were just season one
- 15:55Speaker 3: of the Crew podcast, and yeah, we were training.
- 15:59Speaker 2: We would on training and we were meeting.
- 16:02Speaker 3: And when I tell you, she would come on and
- 16:07Speaker 3: y'all know how I'd like to sometime I like to
- 16:09Speaker 3: be off screen because ain't no, oh no, she was
- 16:14Speaker 3: not having that.
- 16:15Speaker 2: If if if, if I came in.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Her presence to see like she wanted to see the
- 16:21Speaker 3: purple lips, that that that was my purple lip friend again, Terreta,
- 16:26Speaker 3: I thank you for sharing her with us, because you
- 16:30Speaker 3: didn't have to you you shared her with us. She
- 16:35Speaker 3: got an opportunity to not just come on and support you,
- 16:39Speaker 3: but she got opportunity to host her own show and
- 16:42Speaker 3: to be her own voice. And that's something that we're
- 16:46Speaker 3: gonna have and cherish forever because it's archives and we're
- 16:51Speaker 3: gonna be able to have that, and that is a
- 16:54Speaker 3: memory that can never be taken away. So I'm just
- 16:58Speaker 3: so glad that I have that memory and was able
- 17:01Speaker 3: to be a part of that. I tell you, those
- 17:04Speaker 3: those evenings on that podcast with her was was amazing.
- 17:11Speaker 3: You know, even those journeys when she's going out to
- 17:15Speaker 3: the to the little shed, little thing when she go
- 17:18Speaker 3: out and sit up.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Under the little.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Even the phone calls, the phone calls that I was
- 17:24Speaker 3: able to have with her, you know.
- 17:29Speaker 2: It just it impacts.
- 17:31Speaker 3: So you know, I thank God for the time with her,
- 17:35Speaker 3: So thank you for sharing her with us.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Oh, my pleasure, my pleasure.
- 17:41Speaker 2: It was.
- 17:41Speaker 1: It was crazy. It was those stories of going to her.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I was taking her outside one day and me and
- 17:52Speaker 1: the boys were taking her outside and Lord, I was like, okay, Mom,
- 17:56Speaker 1: we're almost outside. I was like, but hold on, I
- 17:58Speaker 1: gotta go to the bathroom. She's talk about, well, if
- 18:01Speaker 1: you had a diaper on, we wouldn't be stopping at
- 18:04Speaker 1: the bathroom. So, you know, you wasting my time. I'm
- 18:07Speaker 1: ready to go outside, and I got to stop and
- 18:09Speaker 1: wait for you. You need a diaper. Look if if
- 18:16Speaker 1: if it, if it came up, it had to come out.
- 18:18Speaker 1: She was not, she was not holding it back.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Again.
- 18:23Speaker 3: I I the laughter, the memories, you know, seeing you
- 18:29Speaker 3: guys post on the different social media and those videos.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Just seeing the laughter and just being able to see
- 18:39Speaker 3: those memories. You know that that that that's just amazing.
- 18:43Speaker 3: You know a lot of us we don't get to
- 18:46Speaker 3: have that conversation.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Yeah, you love snapchat. That was one of her favorite
- 18:51Speaker 1: things to do. She call it the the chap snap
- 18:56Speaker 1: or something. It was never snapchat like it was supposed
- 18:59Speaker 1: to be. And she's like, come on, we got to
- 19:01Speaker 1: do them faces, put the face on them. I'm okay, Mama,
- 19:05Speaker 1: we're gonna put the face on there. We're gonna do that.
- 19:08Speaker 1: But that lady, she she loved to laugh, She loved
- 19:12Speaker 1: to be silly. There was never a moment where she
- 19:17Speaker 1: wasn't being silly at all. And I'm like, mam, we're
- 19:21Speaker 1: supposed to be, you know, wanting and crying, you know,
- 19:25Speaker 1: because this is the situation she's talking about, child a.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Nobody gotta time to be doing all that. I can
- 19:30Speaker 1: cry later. And I'm like, you're absolutely right. So I'm
- 19:35Speaker 1: gonna cry when you go to sleep though, you know,
- 19:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna go ahead and do that when you're sleeping.
- 19:39Speaker 1: And so she was like, I'm gonna hear you anyway,
- 19:43Speaker 1: so you might as well just gonna let your little
- 19:46Speaker 1: tears out. Why I can see you, all right, I'm
- 19:49Speaker 1: gonna let them out. But you ain't gonna be telling
- 19:54Speaker 1: me to be quiet neither. I'm gonna get my tears
- 19:56Speaker 1: in my brother came to visit one time, and this
- 20:00Speaker 1: was the week that she passed, and my brother was
- 20:04Speaker 1: in there trying to sing and uh she she looked up.
- 20:11Speaker 1: She was sleeping now, so he over there trying to sing.
- 20:15Speaker 1: My mama look though. She said, uh uh, who sing
- 20:18Speaker 1: that song? And he told her, he said, okay, let
- 20:21Speaker 1: him do it, because that ain't it. I said that
- 20:25Speaker 1: that's not nice. She took about, uh uh, that that's
- 20:29Speaker 1: not it. I said, well, you don't never tell me
- 20:31Speaker 1: to be quiet. She talk about because you on the right. No,
- 20:33Speaker 1: I don't know what he's singing, and that's that's not it.
- 20:37Speaker 1: I said, Okay, all right, I said, I said, mama, Mama,
- 20:41Speaker 1: say be quiet. Mama, say let him sing the song.
- 20:43Speaker 1: She said, because you're not doing it right.
- 20:49Speaker 2: And that's sound like the good sense of version.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Yeah, And that was.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Why she let them Let whoever have that song.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yeah, because you know, she always got some exploratives in there,
- 21:06Speaker 1: some sentence enhances. She would always have a couple of those.
- 21:10Speaker 3: And I'm telling you, every time I look at that
- 21:15Speaker 3: replay that that video of her, I laugh, like she
- 21:21Speaker 3: is so funny, Like I'm so glad that we were
- 21:25Speaker 3: able to capture that, and that's what I tell people.
- 21:29Speaker 2: It is so important to capture memory.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Yep, I can tell you before her show, you know,
- 21:37Speaker 1: she did her show on telepathy, I will tell you.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Let me tell you the behind the scenes of this,
- 21:43Speaker 1: because I don't know if I ever told you what
- 21:45Speaker 1: happened behind the scenes, okay, because you know, we asked
- 21:48Speaker 1: her she wanted to do her show live, and she
- 21:51Speaker 1: was like, she wanted to do it live. She didn't
- 21:53Speaker 1: want to do a pre recorded So I got up
- 21:56Speaker 1: there early. I had done her hair the night before.
- 21:59Speaker 1: It didn't turn out how I wanted it to turn out,
- 22:02Speaker 1: so she was a little salty about that. But it
- 22:05Speaker 1: was about five o'clock and she was in a lot
- 22:08Speaker 1: of pain, and I was like, well, mom, we can
- 22:10Speaker 1: you know, postpone your show or we can you know,
- 22:13Speaker 1: just go ahead and record it now. Well, we'll see
- 22:17Speaker 1: how I feel in a little while. What time you
- 22:20Speaker 1: say it started? I said at eight o'clock. Okay, I'll
- 22:23Speaker 1: let you know then okay, five. So she had she
- 22:27Speaker 1: could only wear one ear ring, so I had to
- 22:30Speaker 1: put her ear ring in, and then she had to
- 22:32Speaker 1: have her lipstick on, so I put her lipstick on
- 22:36Speaker 1: and everything, and we get ready for the show and
- 22:38Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god, well y'all, please don't let
- 22:41Speaker 1: my mama go off script. Let her, you know, do
- 22:44Speaker 1: what she needed to do, because my mom can go
- 22:46Speaker 1: left real quick. And I'm like, let let's let's I
- 22:50Speaker 1: think she got it. I don't know. And then the
- 22:53Speaker 1: topic that she wanted to talk about was one that
- 22:55Speaker 1: I wasn't quite familiar with and everything, and so she
- 23:01Speaker 1: surprised me, she really did. She surprised me with the
- 23:04Speaker 1: knowledge that she had about telepathy and how it worked
- 23:07Speaker 1: and all of that. But as soon as that show
- 23:12Speaker 1: went off, she said, all right, take this shit off me.
- 23:16Speaker 2: And I'm like what And she was like, I.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Said, you the one wanted this ear ring on and
- 23:21Speaker 1: this lipstick she's talking about. Yeah, the show is over.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Take the shit off, yes, ma'am.
- 23:26Speaker 2: So I had to.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Take her earring off, take her lipstick off, and she
- 23:31Speaker 1: laid down in the bed. She said, okay, all right,
- 23:34Speaker 1: now you got to get home because it's dark outside
- 23:37Speaker 1: and I need you to get home safe. Yes, ma'am,
- 23:40Speaker 1: she said, So you go here and give me my kiss,
- 23:43Speaker 1: and you go on here and get home, and you
- 23:45Speaker 1: call me when you get home so you can get
- 23:46Speaker 1: your butt in that bed. So I'm like, lord, I said,
- 23:51Speaker 1: you the one wanted this lipstick and this earring on,
- 23:55Speaker 1: and now you fussing at me to harry up and
- 23:57Speaker 1: take it out. She's talking about you had the camera off.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Now we're good, we ain gonna take this out. So
- 24:02Speaker 1: that's what happened. As soon as that Carara went out
- 24:06Speaker 1: and I lolled out. She was ready to take that off.
- 24:09Speaker 1: But you would have never known that she was in
- 24:12Speaker 1: a lot of pain because she didn't proceed to show
- 24:15Speaker 1: any of that at all. So that's where I get
- 24:18Speaker 1: my strength and everything from with that lady right there.
- 24:23Speaker 1: She was one of a kind.
- 24:26Speaker 3: I tell you, this life is full of lessons. This
- 24:31Speaker 3: journey and everything there's a lesson. And yeah, I tell
- 24:38Speaker 3: you found out where you get your strength from.
- 24:42Speaker 2: You found out a.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Lot of different things. And your mother's transitioning. Yeah, you
- 24:50Speaker 3: learnd out. You learned a lot that you did not know.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Like a lot of us don't get that opportunity, like
- 24:59Speaker 3: I didn't get the opportunity with my brother.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Like you know how sometimes you just think that you're
- 25:06Speaker 2: gonna have a little longer. Yeah, just gonna have longer.
- 25:09Speaker 2: And that was that.
- 25:10Speaker 3: That was my case with my brother, you know, my
- 25:13Speaker 3: oldest brother. I was I was okay with his transitioning
- 25:19Speaker 3: because my brother was a quadriplegic and he paralyzed for
- 25:24Speaker 3: over twenty years. And that journey, you know, and I
- 25:29Speaker 3: knew what that had been like, So that one was
- 25:32Speaker 3: different for me. Every loss that I've had has been different,
- 25:38Speaker 3: you know, and people ask how do And I look
- 25:41Speaker 3: back now, I see how I spent from I got
- 25:45Speaker 3: it from my mom because I every time my mom
- 25:50Speaker 3: was sick, I didn't know she was sick, you know,
- 25:52Speaker 3: I thought that, you know.
- 25:55Speaker 2: She was going on a trip.
- 25:57Speaker 3: You know, my mom had lupus and she suffered bad
- 26:02Speaker 3: and I didn't know, you know, I didn't know that
- 26:08Speaker 3: my mom almost lost her own life when she gave
- 26:11Speaker 3: birth to me.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I didn't know, like in losing my mom, about my
- 26:19Speaker 2: own journey, you know, and.
- 26:24Speaker 3: You know, I didn't know, you know, all the things
- 26:27Speaker 3: that my mom had suffered through. So, you know, being
- 26:32Speaker 3: able to spend time with her and being there with
- 26:34Speaker 3: her and that journey, you know, I thank God for
- 26:38Speaker 3: my pe teacher because my pe teacher, she she saw
- 26:44Speaker 3: something in me and put me on the basketball team.
- 26:46Speaker 3: And this same lady was in place when my mom transitioned.
- 26:53Speaker 3: This lady would drive her own personal car to the
- 26:56Speaker 3: games so that after the game she could drive me
- 27:00Speaker 3: to the hospital to be with my mom. You don't
- 27:04Speaker 3: find people like that. Like God knows what you need,
- 27:08Speaker 3: when you need it, and how you need it, Like
- 27:10Speaker 3: he knew that I was gonna need that lady in
- 27:12Speaker 3: my life. But I never thought I was who me
- 27:14Speaker 3: played basketball, was gonna be playing on basketball girl, all
- 27:19Speaker 3: my friend, my.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Cousin, everybody here was going out.
- 27:22Speaker 3: They tried out for the basketball team, and my pea
- 27:25Speaker 3: teacher was like, you need to play basketball.
- 27:27Speaker 2: She put me on the JV team.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Every time I touched the ball, they would blow the whistle.
- 27:32Speaker 3: That's how much I knew about basketball. Like when I
- 27:36Speaker 3: tell people now that CP three is my cousin, they
- 27:39Speaker 3: be like, who CP three your cousin.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:43Speaker 3: See, his great grandmother and my great grandfather are brothers
- 27:46Speaker 3: and sisters, so that make us cousins. So when I
- 27:49Speaker 3: tell people that, they be like, and you couldn't dribble
- 27:52Speaker 3: back then?
- 27:53Speaker 2: No, I couldn't.
- 27:54Speaker 3: I never thought I was playing basketball never, But that
- 27:57Speaker 3: lady said something in me. Monica Denise Davis saw something
- 28:02Speaker 3: in me. She had the JV coach put me on
- 28:05Speaker 3: the JV team. After JV season, I moved to varsity. Yeah,
- 28:11Speaker 3: she moved me to varsity my ninth grade year.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Y'all, I was starting. That lady saw something in me.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I think it out exactly.
- 28:22Speaker 3: That's why when when when y'all be like, that's where
- 28:26Speaker 3: I get that from. Because that lady instilled so much
- 28:30Speaker 3: in me, and now I can't help but see the
- 28:36Speaker 3: gifts and the talents within people and I wanting to
- 28:40Speaker 3: be wanting to pull them out. Sometimes may seem like
- 28:44Speaker 3: I may be overbearing if I see something in you.
- 28:48Speaker 3: And I don't like for people to take advantage of people.
- 28:51Speaker 3: That's one of my one of my things. I don't
- 28:54Speaker 3: like that.
- 28:55Speaker 4: Yeah, and I will, man, I'm telling you, I'll go
- 28:59Speaker 4: to bed for that. Definitely, you will, because I know
- 29:06Speaker 4: I don't like for people to take advantage of people.
- 29:08Speaker 3: I don't like for I just don't like that. I
- 29:12Speaker 3: believe that, you know, God has given us all guests
- 29:14Speaker 3: and talents.
- 29:17Speaker 1: I mean, you have really stretched us beyond what we
- 29:21Speaker 1: even thought was possible for ourselves you know, I met
- 29:24Speaker 1: you almost three years ago now doing the virtual monologue
- 29:30Speaker 1: the Mask Behind the Mask.
- 29:32Speaker 2: And almost almost four years now, because yeah, Cheryl was
- 29:39Speaker 2: a part of that.
- 29:40Speaker 3: And I remember when she got diagnosed with breast cancer.
- 29:44Speaker 2: She yeah, so and the.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Part that she played, Oh my gosh, you don't understand
- 29:51Speaker 1: like that that play has so many significant things in
- 29:55Speaker 1: it just from me playing the part that I played.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I don't know if you know.
- 30:01Speaker 1: There was another person that was supposed to play that part,
- 30:05Speaker 1: MSUs Motivation, and the part that I had was playing
- 30:12Speaker 1: basically like a mean girl or whatever to Melody's Melanie's character,
- 30:19Speaker 1: and I prayed. I was like, God, I'm not even
- 30:23Speaker 1: in that space in my life to be mean to anybody.
- 30:27Speaker 1: So this character of being mean to somebody is not
- 30:31Speaker 1: sitting well with me, and I'm not sure how I
- 30:35Speaker 1: can do that. And so next thing I know, Sheena
- 30:40Speaker 1: she sends me a message and asks if I would
- 30:44Speaker 1: play the part of MSUs Motivation because the lady who
- 30:49Speaker 1: was doing it had dropped out, And I was like, okay,
- 30:54Speaker 1: that seems more of my speech. And then also that
- 30:58Speaker 1: part did not have any need speaking parts in it
- 31:02Speaker 1: at all, So I was like okay. And so then
- 31:04Speaker 1: when we were doing the rehearsal, they were like, you're
- 31:07Speaker 1: gonna have to come up with something that's gonna make
- 31:09Speaker 1: your part last for the five minutes that it needs to.
- 31:13Speaker 1: And I'm like, lord, it didn't have any speaking part,
- 31:16Speaker 1: so now I got to speak, I got to say
- 31:18Speaker 1: something I got I don't know what to do, and
- 31:22Speaker 1: so I'm like, I prayed about it. I prayed that
- 31:25Speaker 1: I couldn't be a mean girl. And then it's like, okay,
- 31:29Speaker 1: well you prayed that you couldn't be a mean girl,
- 31:31Speaker 1: so now you got another part because I answered the prayer.
- 31:35Speaker 1: But I said, okay, yeah, God, you did answer the prayer.
- 31:39Speaker 1: But now you got me talking, and I wasn't playing
- 31:42Speaker 1: on talking. But this does fit my personality of being
- 31:46Speaker 1: a motivator to motivate people into doing so. But okay,
- 31:51Speaker 1: all right, now I got to figure this out.
- 31:52Speaker 3: So and then we all had to play mean girl,
- 31:58Speaker 3: because yeah, we all had to go in and and
- 32:01Speaker 3: do different little parts of being me.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Yes, the little voice part, like who she is? Why
- 32:08Speaker 1: she got that makeup on?
- 32:09Speaker 2: You know?
- 32:10Speaker 1: It was like okay, so it pulls something out, but
- 32:14Speaker 1: it wasn't as bad as you know, because I'm like,
- 32:16Speaker 1: that's all it is. And I'm like, God, I'm not
- 32:19Speaker 1: even in that space to be that to anybody, because
- 32:23Speaker 1: I know what that feels like. And I was like,
- 32:25Speaker 1: I'm not in that space no more. So God definitely
- 32:30Speaker 1: will put you in places and positions to where he's
- 32:34Speaker 1: gonna utilize the talents that you have to help bring
- 32:38Speaker 1: you to where he wants you to be. And me,
- 32:42Speaker 1: oh lord, I'm still that little shy girl in the back,
- 32:49Speaker 1: sometimes not as much as I used to be. So
- 32:52Speaker 1: it's like I'm getting out of that that little comfort
- 32:57Speaker 1: zone that I call my my safety net of being
- 33:02Speaker 1: in the back, but being more in the forefront because
- 33:06Speaker 1: nobody believes that I'm shy anyway. So it's just one
- 33:12Speaker 1: of those things. It's like a thing that I say
- 33:14Speaker 1: to myself and everybody's like, yeah, shy, wear win how
- 33:18Speaker 1: because it's not possible for you to be shy. I'm like,
- 33:22Speaker 1: my mama, I don't meet a stranger either, and people
- 33:25Speaker 1: come up and tell me their stories. At the grocery store.
- 33:29Speaker 1: I might just be speaking and passing and here go
- 33:31Speaker 1: somebody telling me what they've been through and what they've
- 33:34Speaker 1: been going through and I always have a positive word,
- 33:38Speaker 1: you know, because God. I know where God has brought
- 33:41Speaker 1: me from and what he does happen every day, and
- 33:44Speaker 1: so I think that's mostly what people see when they're
- 33:47Speaker 1: able to come to me. They find a sense of safety.
- 33:51Speaker 1: And I'm gonna glorify God and everything that I do
- 33:54Speaker 1: because if it was not for him, I would not
- 33:58Speaker 1: be where I'm at, you know, because I could be
- 34:02Speaker 1: dead and gone a long time ago because God man
- 34:05Speaker 1: had counted me out after I had my stroke, not
- 34:09Speaker 1: once but twice.
- 34:11Speaker 2: You know.
- 34:11Speaker 1: They man counted me out, but God said, you still
- 34:15Speaker 1: got work to do. So I'm gonna need you to
- 34:17Speaker 1: get this together because I lost my speech, you know,
- 34:21Speaker 1: I couldn't talk, and I prayed and I asked God.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I said, I don't know because Man keeps telling me
- 34:27Speaker 1: there's nothing that's going on. But you and I both
- 34:30Speaker 1: know that I'm not able to speak and I'm not
- 34:33Speaker 1: able to do what it is that I need to do.
- 34:36Speaker 1: So you got to help me. And He helped me
- 34:40Speaker 1: get my speech back, you know, And so I don't
- 34:43Speaker 1: have that deficit, you know, of not being able to speak,
- 34:47Speaker 1: and so I utilized my voice to magnify him, and
- 34:50Speaker 1: anybody who's listening knows that I know God on a
- 34:54Speaker 1: personal level. So I know some days he'd be like,
- 34:58Speaker 1: look here, you don't talk to me enough. I don't
- 34:59Speaker 1: need to talk to you know more, they talk to
- 35:01Speaker 1: me tomorrow, call me tomorrow, because right now you're on
- 35:03Speaker 1: hold because you don't call me too much. To that, yeah,
- 35:06Speaker 1: I'm like, but I got some more questions. Ye, same
- 35:09Speaker 1: to tomorrow. Talk to you tomorrow, good night, have a
- 35:11Speaker 1: good night.
- 35:13Speaker 3: But when you know, relationship, and people got to understand that,
- 35:17Speaker 3: they got to have that relationship so that they can communicate,
- 35:21Speaker 3: because it's all about communications, you know. That is one
- 35:24Speaker 3: of the most the most areas where we lack is
- 35:28Speaker 3: communication in any level. Like people, so they so caught
- 35:34Speaker 3: up on religion, but it's not about religion. It's about relationship,
- 35:39Speaker 3: you know, because he won't his time exactly the people
- 35:45Speaker 3: we we we just don't understand a lot of us, really,
- 35:49Speaker 3: like we really truly don't understand how blessed we are
- 35:54Speaker 3: and how how much the enemy, not not just the devil,
- 35:59Speaker 3: because if the devil didn't get kicked out by hisself,
- 36:02Speaker 3: remember why he.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Got kicked out. One third of heaven went with him
- 36:11Speaker 2: with him. So guess what them same one third is
- 36:14Speaker 2: walking around.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Here, them same de money devils walking around him too,
- 36:20Speaker 3: mad too, because they wanted to know why they mess up?
- 36:24Speaker 2: Why they why why did he mess up one time
- 36:26Speaker 2: and get kicked out? Uh huh.
- 36:29Speaker 3: He keep giving us infinity. He kept giving us chance
- 36:33Speaker 3: after chance. He don't give us a second chance. He
- 36:36Speaker 3: you know, some of us want that second chance off
- 36:38Speaker 3: one hundred.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Thousand times ago. Exactly, we want that out.
- 36:44Speaker 3: He keep giving us another chance. Why because he want
- 36:47Speaker 3: to see us and see He want to see us thriving.
- 36:49Speaker 3: He want to see us walking in that that he
- 36:52Speaker 3: have already preordained for us. It's no coincident. That's why
- 36:55Speaker 3: he's telling people. There's no accident. There's no co incident,
- 36:58Speaker 3: no soir, no hap from stance, no, none of them.
- 37:03Speaker 3: Even the stuff that we think that come is coming
- 37:06Speaker 3: against us, it's not that it's coming against us. Sometimes
- 37:11Speaker 3: we got to go through something in order for us
- 37:13Speaker 3: to be able to tell somebody. If you don't have
- 37:15Speaker 3: a test how can you give a testimony?
- 37:18Speaker 1: Exactly, you can't.
- 37:20Speaker 3: It don't come to break you, like I keep telling people,
- 37:23Speaker 3: like girl, when I tell you. I was telling you
- 37:25Speaker 3: before we went live, I downloading stuff in my spirit
- 37:30Speaker 3: like they were fire, that were flame, like people don't
- 37:34Speaker 3: understand what.
- 37:35Speaker 2: Those words truly mean.
- 37:37Speaker 3: And like that flame that's on the inside of us
- 37:41Speaker 3: when he breathed that breath of life into us Genesis
- 37:43Speaker 3: two and seven.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Now he breathed the breath of life into us.
- 37:47Speaker 1: And that's true.
- 37:49Speaker 3: We don't need we don't need alarm clock, we don't
- 37:53Speaker 3: need CPR, we don't need I.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Woke us up this morning. He woke up with a purpose.
- 38:00Speaker 1: I was going to interview not too long ago, and
- 38:05Speaker 1: I had to use my GPS. And this is one thing,
- 38:09Speaker 1: and this is what I was telling one of the
- 38:12Speaker 1: people after I finished going through, I was going to
- 38:16Speaker 1: look at a house also, and I was telling the lady.
- 38:18Speaker 1: I was like, you know, we get to I've lived
- 38:22Speaker 1: in Spartanburg my whole life. But I got to use GPS,
- 38:24Speaker 1: I said. But as I was doing the GPS and
- 38:28Speaker 1: getting to my destination, I was you always think about
- 38:33Speaker 1: the GPS signal doesn't know exactly that the traffic conditions.
- 38:38Speaker 1: It just knows how to get you from point A
- 38:40Speaker 1: to point B. And you may know a shortcut around
- 38:44Speaker 1: the way that the GPS is taking you if you're
- 38:46Speaker 1: familiar with the area and what you're going. But what
- 38:50Speaker 1: God was telling me in that moment is that I'm
- 38:55Speaker 1: your GPS, and no matter where you're going in this life,
- 38:58Speaker 1: you may want to and you may even reroute to
- 39:03Speaker 1: go another way, but you're always gonna come back to
- 39:06Speaker 1: the will in which I have for you. Anyway, you
- 39:09Speaker 1: just gonna get lost because you gonna re route yourself.
- 39:12Speaker 1: But my will is always gonna be there, because you
- 39:16Speaker 1: gonna come back to the direction in which I have
- 39:18Speaker 1: for you. So you may shame if you want to.
- 39:22Speaker 1: And I was like, God, you know what, I didn't
- 39:25Speaker 1: go the way that I was gonna go, but I
- 39:28Speaker 1: paid attention to the GPS that day and I didn't
- 39:32Speaker 1: go off course. And I was like, as long as
- 39:34Speaker 1: I stay on the course that you have for me,
- 39:37Speaker 1: I will always be guided by God's direction. So your
- 39:41Speaker 1: service for me is always gonna be where you want
- 39:45Speaker 1: me to be and when you want me to be
- 39:46Speaker 1: that And I say all the time, yeah, it is
- 39:49Speaker 1: no coincidence. It's always by God's design. The path in
- 39:52Speaker 1: which he has for us is always gonna be that path.
- 39:56Speaker 1: It may take a detour here and there, but as
- 39:59Speaker 1: long as we are focused on what God is intended
- 40:02Speaker 1: for us to do, we will never be off track.
- 40:04Speaker 1: We will never lose the course because God's destiny is
- 40:07Speaker 1: for us in any given any given time, because it
- 40:10Speaker 1: was already written for us. So that GPS, sometimes you're
- 40:14Speaker 1: gonna hear it say re routing, just that even rerouting.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Came up, came up, something came up. And that's just
- 40:25Speaker 3: like like that day when Latania show come in place,
- 40:31Speaker 3: but not because exactly the lad because the GPS, like
- 40:37Speaker 3: you say, don't account for traffic. And then sometimes it
- 40:40Speaker 3: will account for traffic and it will reroute you to
- 40:44Speaker 3: exact route. But then it may come up and then
- 40:47Speaker 3: it also will bring you. It'll let you know if
- 40:52Speaker 3: something is ahead, It'll let you know if danger like acident. Yes,
- 40:58Speaker 3: it'll tell you if there's a speed trap. It informs
- 41:04Speaker 3: you of things that may delay you, things that may
- 41:08Speaker 3: get you off track. And then if they got to
- 41:10Speaker 3: defer you, to detoy you, it's gonna deter you and
- 41:13Speaker 3: tell you.
- 41:13Speaker 2: It'll give you alternate routes. And that's what you do.
- 41:16Speaker 2: We that's what free will come in place.
- 41:19Speaker 3: When we when we make the choice, like he already
- 41:23Speaker 3: got it mapped.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Out, Thank you, Holy girls.
- 41:25Speaker 3: He already got it out, and he got it mapped
- 41:28Speaker 3: out for us. So when when we're going through this journey,
- 41:32Speaker 3: we can decide that we want to go left, or
- 41:35Speaker 3: we can decide and we want to go right. But
- 41:37Speaker 3: he got the straight path mapped out for us, and
- 41:39Speaker 3: we there left or we there right. We got to
- 41:42Speaker 3: know the consequences are going left. We got to know
- 41:44Speaker 3: the consequences are going right are not going to be
- 41:47Speaker 3: that's going straight. So if you choose to go left
- 41:50Speaker 3: or you choose to go right, you got to be
- 41:52Speaker 3: willing to accept those consequences. I'm telling you better.
- 41:55Speaker 5: Stay on the straight sometime were there, and when we
- 42:00Speaker 5: do there, he extends his grace and his mercy to
- 42:05Speaker 5: allow us an opportunity to get.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Back on track. I thank God for this time that
- 42:13Speaker 2: we had.
- 42:14Speaker 3: You know, he knew what we needed tonight and he
- 42:20Speaker 3: knew everything that would be taking place. So it's no
- 42:24Speaker 3: coincidence that Trevita had that Patrice had to go be
- 42:31Speaker 3: with her baby tonight at the parades, because he knew
- 42:36Speaker 3: that you was gonna step in and you knew the conversation,
- 42:40Speaker 3: what the conversation would be about, and he knew that
- 42:43Speaker 3: I needed to be here tonight to talk about my
- 42:46Speaker 3: cousin on his birthday.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Happy birthday, Tony.
- 42:49Speaker 1: A happy birthday. God always knows and if we're obedient,
- 42:54Speaker 1: no matter what the circumstances may be, God always knows
- 42:59Speaker 1: every thing and ahead of time. And that's why my
- 43:03Speaker 1: tagline is always stay out of God's business, you know,
- 43:07Speaker 1: because God knows exactly what he needs from us. All
- 43:11Speaker 1: he needs us to do is be obedient to what
- 43:13Speaker 1: He's calling us to do. And if you can be
- 43:15Speaker 1: obedient to what God is telling you to do, you'll
- 43:18Speaker 1: never never fall short of what he's telling you. You'll
- 43:22Speaker 1: never fall short, and you'll never miss what's for you anyway.
- 43:26Speaker 1: And a lot of times we get so caught up
- 43:29Speaker 1: and Okay, well God, this didn't happen for me right now.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Why it ain't your time, It ain't your season. You know,
- 43:35Speaker 1: your season may be filled with hardships, Your hard time
- 43:39Speaker 1: may be a moment of darkness. It may be some
- 43:42Speaker 1: of those things that you got to go through. You
- 43:44Speaker 1: may have to be dirt, buried in the dirt, but
- 43:47Speaker 1: you gotta blossom from that dirt. Even when people are
- 43:51Speaker 1: putting all kind of stuff on your name or whoever
- 43:53Speaker 1: you are, your dark season is ready for your blossoming.
- 43:58Speaker 1: You got to be covered in some darkness. You got
- 44:00Speaker 1: to be covered in some things and order for God
- 44:02Speaker 1: to use you. God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies
- 44:06Speaker 1: the call. And so when you know who God is
- 44:09Speaker 1: calling you to be, you will always be qualified. You
- 44:13Speaker 1: will never be unqualified because God knows who he created
- 44:16Speaker 1: you to be. Each and everything that you do is
- 44:19Speaker 1: not a mystery to him. It is all God's way,
- 44:24Speaker 1: no way, not man's way. Man got a lot to say,
- 44:27Speaker 1: but man ain't right.
- 44:29Speaker 3: So Man, I tell you how you enjoy the conversation
- 44:34Speaker 3: on tonight. I thank him for allowing us this space
- 44:38Speaker 3: to be able to share. I pray that those that
- 44:42Speaker 3: have tuned in or those that will hear the replay
- 44:44Speaker 3: will be blessed by something that we've shared on here tonight.
- 44:51Speaker 3: Thank you for for allowing me to come on and
- 44:54Speaker 3: share this.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Man, truly, truly, I don't count it lightly.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Whenever I get the opportunity to be on you guys show,
- 45:05Speaker 3: I always have to give a shout out to all
- 45:07Speaker 3: of the amazing hosts over here on the Crew Podcast.
- 45:11Speaker 3: If this is your first time tuning in, please don't
- 45:15Speaker 3: make it your last time tuning in, because there are
- 45:18Speaker 3: some amazing hosts here.
- 45:21Speaker 2: On the Crew Podcast.
- 45:22Speaker 3: There's eight amazing queens that I tell you I have
- 45:25Speaker 3: truly enjoyed getting to know over these last two seasons.
- 45:29Speaker 3: We're getting ready to wrap up season two and heading
- 45:32Speaker 3: into season three. Excited about that, Excited about this new
- 45:36Speaker 3: platform that we're going to be using, Excited about being
- 45:40Speaker 3: able to, you know, be a voice to those that
- 45:43Speaker 3: may not have a voice or feel that they're voiceless.
- 45:45Speaker 2: So I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited.
- 45:49Speaker 3: I want you to work with those that are tuned in,
- 45:53Speaker 3: how they can tune in, what days they can tune
- 45:56Speaker 3: in to hear you, and how they can support your brand.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Okay, well, listen about me. I'm Trevita Harris. You can
- 46:06Speaker 1: find me on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok YouTube. I also have
- 46:14Speaker 1: a publishing business. It's called Wings of Transformation Publishing. You
- 46:18Speaker 1: can tune in to Believe in the Journey podcast every
- 46:21Speaker 1: second Sunday and fourth Thursday of each month at eight o'clock.
- 46:27Speaker 1: But me in a whole. I am only four foot eight,
- 46:32Speaker 1: but I am big in spirit, so don't let the
- 46:35Speaker 1: small statue fool you because God made me mighty in
- 46:40Speaker 1: a small package. And I talk about how big I
- 46:43Speaker 1: am in spirit. So if you've tuned in once, you'll
- 46:47Speaker 1: tune in again because I keep you coming back because
- 46:50Speaker 1: I know how God works, and so I'm silly. I
- 46:55Speaker 1: love to have a good time. Like I told you
- 46:57Speaker 1: all in the beginning, don't pay no attention to the
- 46:59Speaker 1: little bark that I got, which is his call. So
- 47:03Speaker 1: it'll be gone after a while. But I thank you
- 47:07Speaker 1: guys for tuning in. You can find me. Like I
- 47:10Speaker 1: said on Facebook, if you want to remember how to
- 47:13Speaker 1: say my name, I'm gonna tell you this. This is
- 47:15Speaker 1: well will be very, very cheesy. So remember the Belvida cheese. Okay,
- 47:21Speaker 1: like I said, it's cheesy. If you can say Belvida,
- 47:23Speaker 1: you can say Trevita. So that's how you'll remember my name.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Is cheesy, but you'll never forget it all right. But
- 47:30Speaker 1: before I close out, you know, I have to save
- 47:32Speaker 1: my tagline which I already said it before, and that
- 47:36Speaker 1: is stay out of God's business. The only thing God
- 47:39Speaker 1: needs you to do is be obedient to what he's
- 47:41Speaker 1: called you to do. So if you want to find me,
- 47:43Speaker 1: know where to find me Facebook, Instagram. I'll say love y'all.
- 47:47Speaker 3: Thank you, Amen, Amen, y'all have a good night, and
- 47:50Speaker 3: we thank you guys for tuning in. Patri said, thank
- 47:54Speaker 3: you ladies. You had a lot of comments tonight. There
