Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark Simone at sevent WR.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Well, now, if you're just joining us, you missed the
- 0:10Speaker 2: first hour of the show. Remember it starts. We start
- 0:12Speaker 2: at nine am every day, now nine to noon, three hours,
- 0:17Speaker 2: nine to noons. If you just tuning in, you missed
- 0:19Speaker 2: the first hour, So don't forget. Nine am is the
- 0:22Speaker 2: first hour. Now nine am to noon every day. Let
- 0:27Speaker 2: me just clear this up here because you're going to
- 0:29Speaker 2: hear some confusion all day, presidents saying that he called
- 0:34Speaker 2: off the massive attack of Iran because we're now negotiating.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Iran wants to talk. They want peace talks and they
- 0:42Speaker 2: want to open up the straight hormose and all that.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Now you're going to see all kinds of fake news reports.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Here's one in Media eight I. Iran denies it's in
- 0:50Speaker 2: talks with the US. You're going to see this all
- 0:51Speaker 2: over MS. Now, Iran denies in there's talks. Iran contradicts
- 0:57Speaker 2: the pre Well, what's going on. There's two factions now
- 1:01Speaker 2: in Iran and there's basically civil war without any shots fired.
- 1:05Speaker 2: There there's the normal Iran that runs things, that's in talks,
- 1:12Speaker 2: but there's the crazy radical military IRGC. They don't want
- 1:18Speaker 2: any talks but the leaders are more than normal people,
- 1:22Speaker 2: so they are in talks. There's two groups there. The
- 1:25Speaker 2: other group will say they're not in talks. That's why
- 1:28Speaker 2: you're going to see that confusion all day. Now, if
- 1:32Speaker 2: you're worried about cyber attacks and Iranian attacks in the US,
- 1:36Speaker 2: and you heard about Minnesota where they attacked the water
- 1:39Speaker 2: system in Minnesota, the water system is controlled by all
- 1:43Speaker 2: kinds of technology, and there's a grid and all that
- 1:46Speaker 2: sort of stuff, and Iran hacked into it and took control.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Don't be so sure about that. Fake news playing that
- 1:53Speaker 2: up like crazy. Here's President Trump on that.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Blame it on Iran.
- 1:57Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 1:58Speaker 5: I think I blame it on Minnesota because they're grossly incompetent.
- 2:01Speaker 5: There was a cyber attack of thirty water plants, and
- 2:05Speaker 5: I would blame it on Minnesota and the governor, the
- 2:08Speaker 5: corrupt governor of Minnesota.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Now, the truth is somewhere in the middle. There was
- 2:13Speaker 2: some sort of cyber attack. But there are people looking
- 2:17Speaker 2: at this saying Minnesota did not have a very sophisticated system.
- 2:21Speaker 2: It was easier than it should be to hack into,
- 2:25Speaker 2: and it might turn out the hacker. We're like a
- 2:27Speaker 2: bunch of teenagers somewhere, so not necessarily Iran, New York City.
- 2:32Speaker 2: We have much better protection on our water grid and
- 2:36Speaker 2: all of that. Spain is now building a fence, a wall.
- 2:41Speaker 2: I know walls don't work, but they actually do. Spain
- 2:44Speaker 2: got invaded by sixty thousand migrants, all poured in at once.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Now they had some kind of well one of their
- 2:53Speaker 2: leaders kind of invited them in, which was crazy, and
- 2:57Speaker 2: then the legislated. They're put together some kind of stupid
- 3:00Speaker 2: law that if you come by water, they'll let you
- 3:02Speaker 2: and they'll take you, they won't turn you away. So
- 3:05Speaker 2: these sixty thousand came by land along the coast, but
- 3:09Speaker 2: before coming in they went into the water, just stuck
- 3:12Speaker 2: both feet in the water and came the last two
- 3:16Speaker 2: feet through the water. So that qualified under that stupid law,
- 3:20Speaker 2: which they're changing now. So they're putting up a containment
- 3:24Speaker 2: barrier on the water to keep people out. Spain's Interior
- 3:28Speaker 2: ministry said they claim the majority that entered have already
- 3:33Speaker 2: returned to Morocco. We are relentless against those who break
- 3:36Speaker 2: the law. So yeah, you're going to see some kind
- 3:39Speaker 2: of a Spanish tom Homan at some point chasing them
- 3:43Speaker 2: all out of there. I mean, it's just absolutely insane
- 3:47Speaker 2: to have that happen in a country. You're going to
- 3:49Speaker 2: see that happen more and more in Europe. Some people
- 3:51Speaker 2: think the whole European Union could be gone at some
- 3:54Speaker 2: point as they just get invaded every which way. If
- 3:57Speaker 2: you go to Great Britain, especially London, you can't find
- 4:01Speaker 2: anybody speaks English anymore there. They've been invaded, although legally
- 4:05Speaker 2: they just allow everybody. And although there was a lot
- 4:08Speaker 2: of illegal entry there. You know, if you go to
- 4:11Speaker 2: a he throw airport and you come in and you
- 4:14Speaker 2: get off the plane, you just walk right into the country.
- 4:17Speaker 2: There's no customs, there's no anything. You just walk right in.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Nobody asks anything, nobody talks to you about anything. The
- 4:25Speaker 2: Nancy Guthrie, her mother, that case well looks like that
- 4:30Speaker 2: local sheriff, who is a bumbling incompetent, made a lot
- 4:35Speaker 2: of mistakes. Now, from the first second, they should have
- 4:40Speaker 2: let the FBI or somebody come in there and run
- 4:42Speaker 2: the case. But the Guthrie case was a disaster. Apparently
- 4:48Speaker 2: there was some blood on the porch, but being a
- 4:54Speaker 2: small town dumb sheriff, he didn't know to seal off
- 4:56Speaker 2: the porch and to create a crime scene, and instead
- 5:02Speaker 2: they allowed a million reporters and other people all over
- 5:05Speaker 2: the porch just to stand in the porch go on
- 5:09Speaker 2: the porch show. It put DNA all over the place,
- 5:12Speaker 2: screwing up the case. Now there may be more video
- 5:17Speaker 2: evidence that they haven't really fully looked at. Do you
- 5:19Speaker 2: know it? Six months since the mother disappeared, six months
- 5:23Speaker 2: eighty four years old. She was on cholesterol medicine, blood
- 5:27Speaker 2: pressure medicine, heart medicine, so they kidnapped her. Of course
- 5:31Speaker 2: she didn't have the medicine. Doctors say you could, You
- 5:34Speaker 2: could probably last a couple of weeks without it. But
- 5:38Speaker 2: apparently if these are the real kidnappers, apparently Savannah Guthrie
- 5:44Speaker 2: got contacted by the kidnappers and they said, we never
- 5:51Speaker 2: intended to hurt her. We were kidnapping her for money.
- 5:55Speaker 2: We underestimated her health problems in her heart. She didn't
- 5:59Speaker 2: serve I have the kidnapping and they said we buried
- 6:02Speaker 2: her in nature. So she is putting out a video
- 6:07Speaker 2: just begging them to say where she's buried so they
- 6:11Speaker 2: can find her. And they give her a proper burial,
- 6:15Speaker 2: and as they said bring her home.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Now.
- 6:17Speaker 2: If you're the kidnappers, you may not want to do that,
- 6:19Speaker 2: because if they were able to find the body, they
- 6:22Speaker 2: may find more clues as to who the kidnappers are.
- 6:25Speaker 2: But if you're the kidnappers, this sheriff doesn't look like
- 6:28Speaker 2: he knows what the hell he's doing, so I wouldn't
- 6:29Speaker 2: worry about it. I would just tell him where it is.
- 6:33Speaker 2: So Democratic Party getting totally destroyed from within, Spain got invaded,
- 6:40Speaker 2: these countries getting invaded by these illegals, these aliens. Well,
- 6:43Speaker 2: the same thing happening with the Democratic Party just getting
- 6:47Speaker 2: taken over, invaded by radical socialists, and all your Democratic leaders,
- 6:53Speaker 2: the Schumers, the Haquim Jeffreys, the Pelosis, terrified, frightened, hiding
- 6:58Speaker 2: under their desk, don't know what the hell to do.
- 7:02Speaker 2: So you've got some people calling for the rescue of
- 7:05Speaker 2: the Democratic Party. It's been captured by these crazy radical
- 7:09Speaker 2: left wing socialists, which guarantees a total loss in twenty
- 7:14Speaker 2: twenty eight and probably in the midterms. You know when
- 7:18Speaker 2: Democrats lose, they always lose to the left whenever they lose,
- 7:24Speaker 2: and it usually happens after a big republican popular president.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Is there they always go too far to the left,
- 7:31Speaker 2: and then they can't get back in the game. It
- 7:33Speaker 2: happened well after Reagan, they always went too far to
- 7:36Speaker 2: the left. They nominated Mondale the next time they nominated
- 7:40Speaker 2: to caucus. They just go too far to the left
- 7:44Speaker 2: because they just get crazy. So and then even after Clinton,
- 7:49Speaker 2: they went with al Gore, who was too far to
- 7:51Speaker 2: the left. So you got some people James Carville, you
- 7:55Speaker 2: know James Carville, that old snake looking, lizard looking guy,
- 8:00Speaker 2: James Carville, and he was a big deal. A lot
- 8:02Speaker 2: of younger people don't know who the hell this guy is.
- 8:05Speaker 2: And when they see Carvill come on TV, they can't
- 8:07Speaker 2: believe anybody that strange looking is on TV. It was
- 8:11Speaker 2: members James Carvill and Mary Mattlin, host of the Town.
- 8:15Speaker 2: They were all over everything, every morning show, every political show.
- 8:19Speaker 2: She was Republican, he was Democrat. You don't see her anymore.
- 8:23Speaker 2: But he's always out there, this old lizard zooming into
- 8:26Speaker 2: TV shows from this beating up old Martin crane recliner chair,
- 8:34Speaker 2: remember the Father and Frasier. That Carvil's got that recliner
- 8:38Speaker 2: and he's always wearing a baseball cap. But it's not
- 8:40Speaker 2: a regular it's not a Yankee hat. It's not a
- 8:43Speaker 2: normal baseball cap. It's this old old baseball cap with
- 8:47Speaker 2: more wrinkles than he's got some team that doesn't exist anymore.
- 8:51Speaker 2: So here's Carville on TV. I'm done.
- 8:53Speaker 6: I'm not in a political party. I am totally comfortable
- 8:57Speaker 6: in a political party. Depschmim time questioning the policies of
- 9:02Speaker 6: the government of Israel. In fact, I'm an enthusiastic about that.
- 9:04Speaker 6: I don't want to be in a political party denies
- 9:08Speaker 6: the right of the state of Israel to exist.
- 9:10Speaker 2: That's just not I just can't do that. Well, there
- 9:12Speaker 2: you go, and it's great and he's making sense. Unfortunately,
- 9:14Speaker 2: it's twenty twenty six and everybody watching TV go, who
- 9:18Speaker 2: the hell is this guy?
- 9:19Speaker 7: Who is this?
- 9:20Speaker 2: They have no idea who this guy is who on TV,
- 9:23Speaker 2: but people are speaking out. Democrats Bill maher.
- 9:26Speaker 4: Men, Dommy's Aid, his top aid see A Weaver said,
- 9:29Speaker 4: if you don't believe in the government's sacred right to
- 9:32Speaker 4: seize property, it's over and impoverish the white middle class.
- 9:38Speaker 4: What's a that's a goal. You know, you're supposed to
- 9:43Speaker 4: scare people into voting.
- 9:44Speaker 2: For you, right, Yeah, that's the problem with this socialist
- 9:51Speaker 2: democratic stuff. They hate you, they hate America, they hate
- 9:54Speaker 2: the democracy, they hate everything.
- 9:56Speaker 3: They just hate it.
- 9:57Speaker 2: They just want to bust it up and just change it,
- 10:02Speaker 2: like the Pieta tear tax. Nobody's ever heard of anything
- 10:05Speaker 2: this stupid. You know, if you buy an apartment, whether
- 10:09Speaker 2: you live there, you don't live there, whether you live
- 10:11Speaker 2: on the moon, wherever you live, you buy the apartment,
- 10:14Speaker 2: you got property tax. You buy a five million dollar apartment,
- 10:18Speaker 2: I don't know, you're paying probably two hundred thousand a
- 10:20Speaker 2: year in property tax, or not that much, maybe one
- 10:23Speaker 2: hundred and fifty thousand a year. You're paying a lot
- 10:25Speaker 2: of property tax, so a tax on top of a tax,
- 10:29Speaker 2: depending on what purpose the apartments were. If you live
- 10:32Speaker 2: there full time, it's this is the tax. Oh, you
- 10:36Speaker 2: only live there part time, the tax is double. That
- 10:39Speaker 2: doesn't make any sense. Why would it be more tax
- 10:42Speaker 2: if you don't live there full time, if you're not
- 10:44Speaker 2: really living there, you're not using all up resources of
- 10:48Speaker 2: the city. Why you should be paying less tax if
- 10:51Speaker 2: you don't really live there. So it's absolutely insane. But
- 10:56Speaker 2: to Mom Donnie and the whole system, they sent letters
- 11:00Speaker 2: to everybody that you're subject to this piet To tear
- 11:03Speaker 2: attacks unless you can prove otherwise. And it turned out
- 11:06Speaker 2: they got it wrong. There were seventeen thousand letters, you know,
- 11:11Speaker 2: they thought there were ten thousand Piere tarras. Turns out
- 11:14Speaker 2: they sent it out to seventeen thousand people, and many
- 11:17Speaker 2: of them pointing out they actually do live there, but
- 11:21Speaker 2: you have to prove it to them. Now, normally in America,
- 11:23Speaker 2: you're innocent, they'll proven guilty. But Mam Donni, the system
- 11:27Speaker 2: is you're guilty unless you can prove to us that
- 11:31Speaker 2: you don't live there. The deadline was like August eighteenth.
- 11:33Speaker 2: They've extended the deadline to September eighteenth. So now the
- 11:40Speaker 2: President of Israel, Hertzog, was on Fox News but really
- 11:45Speaker 2: going after Mam Donnie and his attacks on Israel, said,
- 11:49Speaker 2: Mam Donni does not respect our right for self determination,
- 11:53Speaker 2: the Jewish people's right to have a nation of their own.
- 11:55Speaker 2: You know, that's why they yelling scream of this two
- 11:58Speaker 2: state solution. They really don't on Israel to have any
- 12:01Speaker 2: kind of a stake. He should understand he's risking the
- 12:04Speaker 2: lives of his own citizens, risking their safety. Huge Jewish
- 12:09Speaker 2: population in New York. He's putting them in danger. So
- 12:13Speaker 2: and remember we've tried the two state solution a couple
- 12:16Speaker 2: of times, and the last time we tried the two
- 12:19Speaker 2: state solution for about seventeen years and it ended in
- 12:22Speaker 2: a holocaust October seventh, it ended in hamas led holocaust.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Now nine to eleven is coming up. What's the day today? Oh,
- 12:32Speaker 2: it's August third, right, August third, So it's not that
- 12:36Speaker 2: far away. It's just a month away, month and a
- 12:38Speaker 2: week away. Wow. So five weeks from tomorrow is the
- 12:44Speaker 2: twenty fifth anniversary of nine eleven. Is hard to believe
- 12:47Speaker 2: it's been twenty five years. But the families will be
- 12:50Speaker 2: there and they don't want Mamdani to be there because
- 12:53Speaker 2: Mam Donni supports all these people who say we deserve
- 12:57Speaker 2: nine to eleven. Nine to eleven was this horrible terrorist attack.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Mom Donnie supports people that are on the side of
- 13:03Speaker 2: the terrorists, absolutely insane. So the idea him standing with
- 13:08Speaker 2: those families, so they started a petition that he not
- 13:12Speaker 2: show up there. Believe it or not, sixty six thousand
- 13:15Speaker 2: people have signed the petition changed dot Org petition sixty
- 13:21Speaker 2: six thousand people have signed it. Now many of the
- 13:25Speaker 2: families say they will turn their back on him and
- 13:29Speaker 2: that'll look pretty bad on camera, although who knows, in
- 13:31Speaker 2: his scheming mind it might be what he wants, but
- 13:34Speaker 2: they will turn their back on him. And now the
- 13:39Speaker 2: latest word is he will still show up. I think.
- 13:42Speaker 2: I don't think President Trump is scheduled to be there,
- 13:45Speaker 2: but I think he should show up and just stand
- 13:46Speaker 2: next to Mom Donni because that'll look bad for Mom
- 13:50Speaker 2: Donni with his crowd. If Trump is next to him,
- 13:54Speaker 2: and Trump should stand next to him, put his arm around,
- 13:56Speaker 2: tell him he's going to do that. That'll probably get
- 13:57Speaker 2: Mom Donnie to to not show up and not be there,
- 14:02Speaker 2: which is exactly what we want. So the economy, by
- 14:07Speaker 2: the way, is doing great, and you might be saying, well,
- 14:11Speaker 2: what are you talking about. There's been this whole campaign
- 14:16Speaker 2: from the fake news to convince America that we're in
- 14:19Speaker 2: a bad economy. We're in a great economy. It could
- 14:22Speaker 2: always be better, but we're in a great economy. That's
- 14:25Speaker 2: where the stock market is at an all time high
- 14:28Speaker 2: right now. Inflation is relatively low. I know the price
- 14:32Speaker 2: of oil is up, although it's been dropping today, but
- 14:37Speaker 2: inflation numbers. Every number is much better than it usually is.
- 14:41Speaker 2: It's a good economy. Now the president is going to
- 14:44Speaker 2: go on a little tour of different states to talk
- 14:47Speaker 2: about that. It's hard to counter the fake news. They've
- 14:50Speaker 2: done this before. They did it to George HW.
- 14:52Speaker 7: Bush.
- 14:54Speaker 2: It wasn't a bad economy. He was having a little inflation,
- 14:56Speaker 2: but it wasn't really bad. So the fake news. In
- 15:00Speaker 2: the final year of the Bush administration, day and night,
- 15:03Speaker 2: all over television kept broadcasting that were in a bad economy,
- 15:07Speaker 2: crisis in the economy. And then as soon as as
- 15:11Speaker 2: soon as Clinton got elected, they stopped all that. The
- 15:14Speaker 2: next day CBS News Dan Rather every night on the
- 15:18Speaker 2: CBS Evening News would open with coming up tonight our
- 15:21Speaker 2: special feature Economy in Crisis. They would do this every night,
- 15:26Speaker 2: and then it was election night. Clinton won. The next day,
- 15:30Speaker 2: this feature was gone. He never did it again. So
- 15:33Speaker 2: they're doing this to Trump right now, trying to drill
- 15:35Speaker 2: it into your head the economy, Oh, it's a bad economy.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Not the case at all. Hey, we'll take some calls next.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Michael Goodman will be with us in a few minutes.
- 15:43Speaker 2: We'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three to two
- 15:46Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three
- 15:50Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten.
- 15:53Speaker 8: So Mark Zimon Show now nine till noon weekdays on
- 15:58Speaker 8: seven ten.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Woo.
- 16:00Speaker 3: That's that's right.
- 16:02Speaker 2: This is the second hour of the show. We started
- 16:04Speaker 2: nine now, so if you just tuned into ten, you
- 16:06Speaker 2: missed the first hour. So it's nine to noon every day,
- 16:11Speaker 2: nine o'clock to noon every day, and if you're podcast
- 16:14Speaker 2: listening you get an extra hour every day. Let's take
- 16:17Speaker 2: some calls. Let's go to Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich
- 16:19Speaker 2: How you doing.
- 16:21Speaker 9: Thanks Mark, And to be honest, I forgot you on
- 16:24Speaker 9: this morning to a Bob from San Diego. Send me
- 16:26Speaker 9: a text and said, are you listening? I said, oh,
- 16:28Speaker 9: I'd better tune in right away.
- 16:30Speaker 2: You know, oh, so you heard the first hour now.
- 16:33Speaker 9: I missed it for hour the last ten minutes for
- 16:36Speaker 9: the first hour.
- 16:36Speaker 2: God, I missed the first hour on. Yeah, you missed
- 16:40Speaker 2: the first hour. We had Donald Trump on, we had
- 16:44Speaker 2: we had the Vladimir Putin on, we had Nancy Guthrie on.
- 16:50Speaker 2: It was quite enough, you.
- 16:53Speaker 9: Know, you know you mentioned Nancy Gusrie. That's sheriff out there.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Watched Barnaby Jones.
- 16:59Speaker 9: Watch detective show, stay at a holiday holiday inn overnight,
- 17:03Speaker 9: and you're smart enough to know you have to create
- 17:05Speaker 9: a crime scene. These people, these guys should not be
- 17:08Speaker 9: in these jobs, these little tiny elected sheriffs and stuff.
- 17:11Speaker 9: Andy Griffith, Bonnie Fife knew you had to create a
- 17:15Speaker 9: a crime scene. And it's just unbelievable. But this guy
- 17:18Speaker 9: in Spain, how they're trying to tell us that all
- 17:20Speaker 9: these immigrants went home to Morocco. I believe that when
- 17:23Speaker 9: they sell the Brooklyn Bridge.
- 17:24Speaker 2: You know, yeah, yeah, I never watched Part of Me Jones,
- 17:27Speaker 2: but it's in reruns. I saw it one night. Do
- 17:29Speaker 2: you ever watch that show. It's the weirdest show ever.
- 17:31Speaker 9: It's about Oh, I'll watch your Rifleman every day at
- 17:33Speaker 9: three o'clock for two half hours.
- 17:35Speaker 3: You know.
- 17:37Speaker 2: That was Chuck Conners. Chuck Conners was like an athlete,
- 17:39Speaker 2: the baseball player, big strapping guy.
- 17:41Speaker 9: He was drafted. He played NBA basketball, he played in
- 17:44Speaker 9: Major League Baseball. The guy was a southball also. But
- 17:48Speaker 9: it is also the first show I believe on TV
- 17:51Speaker 9: to show a single parent raising a child.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yeah, could be, but Part of Me Jones. He was
- 17:56Speaker 2: like ninety seven years old and he was a detective
- 17:59Speaker 2: running around chasing made.
- 18:00Speaker 9: No sense at and that and Matt Locke and any
- 18:04Speaker 9: detective show a police show. Going back to the Naked City,
- 18:07Speaker 9: you knew you had to create a crime scene. And
- 18:10Speaker 9: there's dope out there in Arizona had no clue what
- 18:13Speaker 9: it was doing. It's really mind boggling that somebody like
- 18:16Speaker 9: that can actually be a police chief. Now, speaking of
- 18:18Speaker 9: police chiefs, I'm waiting for your buddy in South Carolina
- 18:22Speaker 9: who's in law enforcement the call us because Myrtle Beach
- 18:25Speaker 9: is hiring a new police chief and they'd got five candidates,
- 18:29Speaker 9: all from Democratic cities. They didn't hire from within. And
- 18:33Speaker 9: I waiting for him to call to say something as well.
- 18:35Speaker 9: But Myrtle Beach is five candidates for new police chief,
- 18:39Speaker 9: all from Democrats.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Having a Democrat police chief. You like sweegee men, you
- 18:44Speaker 2: like homeless camps, you like all that stuff, It'll.
- 18:48Speaker 9: Be like, Mom, Donnie, you like all that kind of stuff. Yeah,
- 18:50Speaker 9: that's the last thing we need in the tourist town.
- 18:52Speaker 9: Is that kind of lunacy coming to Mortle Beach.
- 18:55Speaker 2: That's true? All right, Well, thanks for colling. Let's go
- 18:57Speaker 2: to Vincent and Brooklyn Vincent, what's going on?
- 19:01Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark. You have to excuse me. I'm still
- 19:03Speaker 7: on your two hour show time frame.
- 19:07Speaker 3: But Mar, you missed the first hour.
- 19:10Speaker 7: Mark, I'm in my fifth dream at nine o'clock.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Me too, but I got up at nine o'clock. You
- 19:16Speaker 2: can do it.
- 19:16Speaker 7: Wow, I got up at ten to ten and I
- 19:20Speaker 7: heard your last caller. Mark. You right out of the
- 19:23Speaker 7: money pretty soon. In the United States, in New York, Elise,
- 19:27Speaker 7: we're going to be singing to sharp belies. What's the
- 19:31Speaker 7: marsier the French national anthem? And I say that because Mark,
- 19:37Speaker 7: the city is sending a cent around letters to all
- 19:40Speaker 7: the landlords that you have to preemptively inspect your radiate
- 19:47Speaker 7: is for leaks. Now the way it was in the past,
- 19:51Speaker 7: you had a leak. You radiator?
- 19:53Speaker 2: Well, let me just translate for people. You're talking about
- 19:55Speaker 2: a radiator. You like the Ralph Cramdon pronunciation the radiator.
- 20:00Speaker 7: Well, exactly, you know, I think of it as the
- 20:03Speaker 7: radiator in a car. But anyway they want you to
- 20:07Speaker 7: prove now you have to hire a plumber to do it,
- 20:10Speaker 7: a license plumber, no less, which costs more. That none
- 20:14Speaker 7: of your radiators in your house are leaky. Now, in
- 20:18Speaker 7: the past, if you had a leaky radiator, the tenant
- 20:22Speaker 7: would call the landlord. The land would come and look
- 20:24Speaker 7: at it, and if need be, they call it a plumber. Now,
- 20:29Speaker 7: you have to do it preemptively so we'll become a friend,
- 20:33Speaker 7: and they did. They did did this a lot of things.
- 20:36Speaker 7: Also in the past, if you had a chip paint
- 20:41Speaker 7: and some kid was eating it and got lead poisters,
- 20:43Speaker 7: especially in the ghettos, they put in a report and
- 20:47Speaker 7: then the inspectors would come out and look at the
- 20:49Speaker 7: paint job. Now, no, you have to prove at two
- 20:54Speaker 7: hundred and fifty dollars per room to have it inspected
- 20:58Speaker 7: that you don't have any late lead in your UH.
- 21:02Speaker 7: And you're on the paint and you're building. First off,
- 21:05Speaker 7: when you put latex paint on water paint over lead paint,
- 21:08Speaker 7: that UH mitigates any effect that the lead paint has,
- 21:12Speaker 7: unless you're hungry and you eat the drywall. But that's
- 21:16Speaker 7: what they're doing.
- 21:17Speaker 9: You have to prove.
- 21:18Speaker 2: You imagine having Vincent as your landlord, I don't know.
- 21:21Speaker 7: Well, No, I'm actually a great landlord.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Bye.
- 21:26Speaker 7: I read the tenants really well, and they make sure
- 21:29Speaker 7: they pay their red dot shure, I do what I
- 21:33Speaker 7: wanted to say.
- 21:34Speaker 2: All right, we only got twenty seconds.
- 21:36Speaker 7: All right. Can the citizenry in any state sued doctor
- 21:41Speaker 7: Fauci for what he did to their business? Yeah?
- 21:43Speaker 2: Anybody consume them And it's a good idea. We'll get
- 21:45Speaker 2: to that coming up. Effect. We'll talk about it next.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Thanks Vincent. We'll talk about it next with Michael Goodwin,
- 21:51Speaker 2: the great calumnist, probably the best calm list in America.
- 21:54Speaker 2: He'll be with us next on seven to ten w R.
- 21:59Speaker 8: Live from ther Life Back Studios.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Well with us right now. The finest columnist in America,
- 22:08Speaker 2: Michael Goodwin. You can read his column in the New
- 22:10Speaker 2: York Post every Sunday and every Wednesday, or you used
- 22:13Speaker 2: to go to the New York Plust website. All of
- 22:14Speaker 2: his columns are up there. Michael Goodwin, how you doing,
- 22:18Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark, Thank you a great column about that
- 22:23Speaker 2: Weasley doctor Anthony Fauci. What do you think his reputation
- 22:27Speaker 2: is now?
- 22:30Speaker 3: I think it's shot. I think it's going to be
- 22:33Speaker 3: very hard.
- 22:33Speaker 1: It's not impossible to recover the standing and almost unanimous
- 22:40Speaker 1: support that he had then, and also the trust, the right,
- 22:45Speaker 1: the trust and the medical opinions and also the personality right,
- 22:50Speaker 1: he had a kind of cult of personality also. But
- 22:55Speaker 1: as we know now thanks to Rand Paul the Senator
- 22:59Speaker 1: from Kentucky, Lucky Fauti had a double life. In his diary,
- 23:05Speaker 1: he was he was saying something very different from what
- 23:09Speaker 1: he was saying publicly, and he was His reputation for
- 23:14Speaker 1: brilliant brilliance is shattered by the fact that he was
- 23:19Speaker 1: dumb enough to write his diary on government computers, which
- 23:23Speaker 1: is why it's now public and he's not getting paid
- 23:27Speaker 1: for that.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, he kept claiming to be a scientist.
- 23:31Speaker 2: What kind of scientist thinks you can just hit the
- 23:33Speaker 2: lead and it's gone. It's still there on a service somewhere.
- 23:36Speaker 2: And that's how the Justice Department was able to get it.
- 23:39Speaker 2: RFK Junior went on the hunt for it and they
- 23:43Speaker 2: got it. And what kind of grown man keeps a
- 23:46Speaker 2: diary like that?
- 23:49Speaker 3: A man taken with himself.
- 23:53Speaker 1: And I think that's the downfall of Anthony Gauci is
- 23:58Speaker 1: that this great tragedy of the pandemic that we should
- 24:03Speaker 1: never forget, Mark took over more than one point one
- 24:08Speaker 1: million American lives. We know what it did to the
- 24:13Speaker 1: country as a whole, with businesses and students by going
- 24:17Speaker 1: to school, businesses closed, all kinds of lives changed.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Forever by the shutdowns. And here we are, still these.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Years later, trying to figure out with some degree of
- 24:34Speaker 1: certainty what caused it.
- 24:37Speaker 3: And that's what tripped out to you.
- 24:40Speaker 1: He denied that it was a lab leak, even though
- 24:45Speaker 1: we know now from his diary that he was far
- 24:49Speaker 1: from certain about that.
- 24:51Speaker 3: So he was honest in his diary and dishonest publicly.
- 24:56Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 24:57Speaker 2: So, but you think anything will happen though, talk to
- 25:00Speaker 2: all sorts of lawsuits. Florida Attorney general is going to
- 25:03Speaker 2: go after him, But do you think anything to come
- 25:05Speaker 2: of that. He'll just take the fifth everywhere, won't he?
- 25:09Speaker 3: I guess?
- 25:09Speaker 1: I mean it'll be interesting to see if that pardon
- 25:13Speaker 1: was Joe Biden extended to him on Biden's very last
- 25:18Speaker 1: day in office. And we know about the auto pan right,
- 25:23Speaker 1: But you know the question is is there a state
- 25:27Speaker 1: law that would be not covered by the pardons? Would
- 25:32Speaker 1: there be some crime that Florida, for example, as you cided,
- 25:37Speaker 1: could could follow a charge against him that would not
- 25:41Speaker 1: be blocked upon the federal pardon, So that remains to
- 25:45Speaker 1: be seen.
- 25:46Speaker 3: But just even that we're discussing.
- 25:49Speaker 1: That shows how far the focus has moved from what
- 25:55Speaker 1: it was not so long ago.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Yeah, we're talking Michael Goodwin. The left always, the Democrats,
- 26:02Speaker 2: they always build somebody up, they create some god that
- 26:04Speaker 2: they worship it, you know, Fauci or Cuomo. But they
- 26:08Speaker 2: they always pick the wrong people. Why don't they ever
- 26:10Speaker 2: learn their lessons?
- 26:13Speaker 1: Well, because the only criteria for their choice is you
- 26:17Speaker 1: have to hate Donald Trump, you have to be the
- 26:21Speaker 1: anti Trump. And you know, Mark, That's why I large
- 26:26Speaker 1: this column to reflect the fact that what we now
- 26:31Speaker 1: know about Fauci because there's diaries, is another example of
- 26:37Speaker 1: how the media has failed America in these at last,
- 26:41Speaker 1: in this whole tromb era, go back to twenty sixteen
- 26:45Speaker 1: and twenty seventy. Here the Russian asset, right, the FDI,
- 26:50Speaker 1: James call me Barack Obamba, Susan Rice, the guys at
- 26:55Speaker 1: the CIA, all of them conspiring to to help Hillary
- 27:01Speaker 1: Clinton win the election with a phony Russian Dosier, right,
- 27:09Speaker 1: none of it confirmed. So you have all these things,
- 27:13Speaker 1: and of course you have the Biden attempts to prosecute
- 27:18Speaker 1: Trump and all of that, and of course, the fact
- 27:23Speaker 1: that there is no real media coverage of that, that
- 27:27Speaker 1: Biden was calling the shots, telling the FDI and the
- 27:32Speaker 1: Justice Department to charge Trump.
- 27:35Speaker 3: So all of these things and here we go.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I mean, he continues until this very day. Fauci was
- 27:42Speaker 1: the anti Trump hero. And that's what the media has
- 27:46Speaker 1: always seized on. Who is the anti Trump tyro? It
- 27:49Speaker 1: was Hillary Clinton, it was Barack Obama's Joe Biden, it
- 27:53Speaker 1: was Kamala Harris. You'd look and look at this one
- 27:57Speaker 1: person after another who was exulted simplest for being the
- 28:02Speaker 1: anti Trump.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. Hey, the twenty fifth anniversary of nine
- 28:08Speaker 2: to eleven, Mom Donnie insists he will be there. What
- 28:11Speaker 2: is he thinking? Doesn't he realize the families will turn
- 28:13Speaker 2: their back on him? Why does he insist on being there?
- 28:19Speaker 1: You know, Mike, I'm hoping he will have second thoughts
- 28:25Speaker 1: about that, because I think if it does go as
- 28:30Speaker 1: you're say, and I think that's likely, it will be
- 28:33Speaker 1: a kind of permanent staying on him, much as when
- 28:37Speaker 1: the police officers turn their backs on.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Bill de Blasio.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I think he can argue that the Blasio never recover
- 28:45Speaker 1: from that, and it was a real division between City
- 28:49Speaker 1: Hall and the NYPD.
- 28:52Speaker 3: And I think that for.
- 28:56Speaker 1: The current mayor, I don't think he cares about what
- 29:00Speaker 1: his critics think or say. I think everything for him
- 29:04Speaker 1: is politics. He's going to be mayor, a's in some
- 29:09Speaker 1: huge event. He's going to be mayor for during and
- 29:11Speaker 1: a half more years, and he's going to.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Keep playing to his base.
- 29:18Speaker 1: And if he has to go down, to go down
- 29:21Speaker 1: in flames, trying to change New York and make it
- 29:24Speaker 1: a socialist, anti submitted, anti capitalism city.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so politics, what's his goal? Does he want to
- 29:33Speaker 2: be He can't be president unless they change the law.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Does he want to be the Senator? What is he
- 29:37Speaker 2: really up to long term?
- 29:39Speaker 3: That's a good question. I don't know. I don't know
- 29:42Speaker 3: that he knows.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I don't know that he has a plan in that sense.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I mean, he's so young, So I think of any
- 29:50Speaker 1: thirty year old, thirty four year old, I mean thinking
- 29:54Speaker 1: of herself. For myself, I know, my life as it
- 29:58Speaker 1: was then is what it now. I didn't foresee that.
- 30:01Speaker 1: I didn't necessarily plan that.
- 30:04Speaker 3: You kind of live and you go on.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I think he will discover more about himself and hopefully
- 30:11Speaker 1: at some point he will wise up and realize that
- 30:16Speaker 1: he has failed New York in fundamental ways.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.
- 30:23Speaker 3: No, I'm not.
- 30:25Speaker 2: You got to give him credit. That's an amazing accomplishment
- 30:29Speaker 2: to get yourself elected mayor of New York at thirty
- 30:31Speaker 2: four and you've never held a job in your life.
- 30:33Speaker 2: That is a pretty stunning thing to pull off, isn't it.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, look, whether it's a scam, what's a
- 30:41Speaker 1: partially use I mean an NEPO baby. He's never had
- 30:45Speaker 1: a job, as you say, never really worked, no experience,
- 30:50Speaker 1: and yet he had this kind of measmerized. I call
- 30:55Speaker 1: him the pine piper of the socialists, right that they
- 30:59Speaker 1: all lie end up behind him, so many Democrats, so
- 31:02Speaker 1: many young people, and we look, I mean it's not
- 31:06Speaker 1: just a fiction. When you look at the turnout in
- 31:09Speaker 1: the mayor's race, I mean it firstly doubled what has
- 31:14Speaker 1: been the norm for a couple of decades. So more
- 31:18Speaker 1: than two million people voted, which hadn't happened from I
- 31:22Speaker 1: think the first David Dinkin's Rudy Giuliani election back in
- 31:28Speaker 1: nineteen eighty nine. So it was quite a turnout. Quite
- 31:31Speaker 1: a seat in that he was able to do that.
- 31:34Speaker 1: He's clearly gained momentum around the state and his movement,
- 31:40Speaker 1: of which he is as Hey the Pied Piper, is
- 31:43Speaker 1: gaining ground around the country. And that's what so much
- 31:49Speaker 1: about politics are dominated by. Is fighting back against the
- 31:55Speaker 1: socialist takeover.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Read My Goodwin's Calm. It's a great column and you
- 32:02Speaker 2: can read them every Sunday every Wednesday in the New
- 32:04Speaker 2: York Post. All of his columns are up on the
- 32:06Speaker 2: New York Post website. Michael Goodwin brilliant as always. Thanks
- 32:10Speaker 2: for being with us.
- 32:12Speaker 3: My pleasure, Mark, Thanks you take care.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Hey, don't forget we're starting the show early now. It's
- 32:18Speaker 2: now a three hour show. This show is now nine
- 32:21Speaker 2: am to noon, nine am to noon, So don't miss
- 32:24Speaker 2: our first hour nine am till noon, three hours a day. No,
- 32:30Speaker 2: I can handle it. I can handle hey. Everybody else
- 32:32Speaker 2: does three hours. Sean Handedy does three hours, Jimmy Failer
- 32:35Speaker 2: does three hours, Jesse, Kelly, Buck and Clay they do
- 32:40Speaker 2: three hours every day. It can be done, so don't
- 32:44Speaker 2: miss the final hour at eleven o'clock. See if I
- 32:47Speaker 2: make it till noon, it'll be interesting. But all those
- 32:50Speaker 2: guys are coming up Buck and Clay at noon today.
- 32:53Speaker 2: And then you got Sean Hannity, the most listened to
- 32:56Speaker 2: radio show in America at three, Jesse Kelly at six.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Me fail it. What a funny show. It's every night
- 33:02Speaker 2: at nine right here on seven ten WR.
- 33:06Speaker 8: Now nine till noon weekday Smart Sam only on seven tenor.
- 33:16Speaker 2: So the show is now three hours, not two hours.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Three hours. And you notice we're able to get the
- 33:21Speaker 2: breaks a little shorter because we spread them out over
- 33:23Speaker 2: three hours.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Now.
- 33:26Speaker 2: This also means I got to talk for three minutes here.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I like the better one who went right up to
- 33:30Speaker 2: the news. I only had twenty seconds to talk. Hey,
- 33:32Speaker 2: it's August. This is not good. This is not good.
- 33:35Speaker 2: This summer definitely should get a speeding ticket. I don't know.
- 33:38Speaker 2: This is going way too fast. Part of the problems
- 33:41Speaker 2: we lost a few weeks of summer. There was that
- 33:43Speaker 2: heat wave week where you couldn't go out. It was
- 33:46Speaker 2: like Florida for a week. You got this week, it's
- 33:49Speaker 2: going to rain most of the week. Tomorrow it will
- 33:51Speaker 2: be the one dry day tomorrow, no rain. So if
- 33:55Speaker 2: you got something outdoors, do it tomorrow, and then it's
- 34:00Speaker 2: rain Wednesday, Thursday, good chance rain, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. So
- 34:07Speaker 2: Steve Steve Win the great Las Vegas casino.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Guy.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Steve Win pretty much lives in Florida now. He's at
- 34:15Speaker 2: mar A Lago, He's in Palm Beach, spend most of
- 34:18Speaker 2: his time there. So he decided you get rid of
- 34:20Speaker 2: his big California mansion, Beverly Hills mansion. One hundred and
- 34:25Speaker 2: ten million dollars. That was a pretty fair price. Believe it.
- 34:29Speaker 2: It's a huge mansion, twenty seven thousand square feet Benedict Canyon,
- 34:34Speaker 2: perfect location, twenty seven thousand square feet. So I put
- 34:39Speaker 2: it on the market, one hundred and ten million Beverly Hills.
- 34:42Speaker 2: But thanks to Gavin Newsom, who has destroyed California, everything's
- 34:48Speaker 2: a disaster there. Crime, homeless, needles, feces, homeless camps, everywhere, crime,
- 34:55Speaker 2: even in Beverly Hills. Taxes are going crazy. If you
- 34:59Speaker 2: live there, all you do is smell of smoke from wildfires.
- 35:03Speaker 2: So because of that, real estate values have gone way down.
- 35:06Speaker 2: So Steve Win one hundred and ten million dollar house.
- 35:09Speaker 2: They finally had to sell, lower the price and sell it.
- 35:12Speaker 2: What do you think the price was? One hundred and
- 35:14Speaker 2: ten million. Forty seven million. That's a big cut. That's
- 35:19Speaker 2: like a sixty percent price drop forty seven million. Now
- 35:23Speaker 2: he's worth three point nine billion, so I think he'll
- 35:28Speaker 2: be okay, but from one hundred and ten million down
- 35:31Speaker 2: to forty seven million thanks to Gavin Newsom. Now Steve
- 35:35Speaker 2: Winn also has an apartment here right over there, but
- 35:39Speaker 2: two blocks that three blocks that way the Ritz Carlton,
- 35:43Speaker 2: which is fifty ninth and sixth the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
- 35:47Speaker 2: He has the penthouse seventy million. Doesn't even live there.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I think he's been there in years, seventy million, So
- 35:55Speaker 2: if you're interested in that, it's for sale. He's trying
- 35:58Speaker 2: to unload a lot of property right now. Spend most
- 36:01Speaker 2: of his time in Palm Beach. Hey, we got a
- 36:03Speaker 2: lot to get to in the next hour. Actually, we'll
- 36:05Speaker 2: get to New York and how it's doing. No, not
- 36:08Speaker 2: everybody's leaving. No, prices aren't falling. No, we'll get to
- 36:11Speaker 2: all of that coming up. We'll get to twenty twenty eight,
- 36:14Speaker 2: and we'll get to a whole lot more in the
- 36:16Speaker 2: next hour. Here on seven ten, wor
