- 0:04Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodiking Velvet Revolver.
- 0:08Speaker 2: There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Monday evening.
- 0:12Speaker 2: The time is fifteen minutes past six o'clock. And fellas
- 0:16Speaker 2: something happened today that really freaked me out. Funnily enough, actually,
- 0:24Speaker 2: as we were talking at the opening of this hour,
- 0:26Speaker 2: I bought some Bang Bang chicken today. Anyway, this is
- 0:31Speaker 2: a truth is this is entirely true? This story.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Don't make a change.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I was gonna say, is it everything we say on
- 0:39Speaker 1: here true?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Sometimes we charm it up a bit kezy. So my
- 0:44Speaker 2: wife and I were driving in her car around a
- 0:49Speaker 2: very popular sort of area close to the city. I'm
- 0:52Speaker 2: not going to go into specifics.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Ponsonby maybe it's definitely Pontson b.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Are at the lights and I was in the passenger seating.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Out of the corner of my eye walking along the street,
- 1:06Speaker 2: I saw none other than John Campbell and I said
- 1:12Speaker 2: to my wife, that's Jim Campbell and she went, yeah,
- 1:18Speaker 2: it is too.
- 1:19Speaker 4: And mean, what did you say? I went, year, definitely,
- 1:22Speaker 4: Oh did she say anything to that?
- 1:25Speaker 2: And she said, are you friends with him, and I went, no,
- 1:28Speaker 2: not really, but that was all g So we kept
- 1:33Speaker 2: driving for about ten more minutes, ten more minutes to
- 1:39Speaker 2: our location the supermarket. I won't specify what supermarket, all right.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Yes' pharaohs.
- 1:48Speaker 2: It took us ten minutes to drive there. We walk
- 1:51Speaker 2: in to the supermarket, I grab a basket, getting a
- 1:55Speaker 2: few fruit and veg. I turned around the aisle and
- 2:01Speaker 2: it's like, you were kidding me. John Campbell was standing
- 2:07Speaker 2: in the aisle and I was like, what the actual
- 2:18Speaker 2: And I said to my wife, Honey, honey, over here.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Quick, and she was like, we've already got honey.
- 2:26Speaker 2: We do ittually. We've got two jars, rich guy.
- 2:30Speaker 5: And I said, look, check this out John Campbell again
- 2:35Speaker 5: and she was like yeah, And I said we.
- 2:41Speaker 2: We just saw him walking along an unknown street in
- 2:45Speaker 2: a certain district that I won't get into road and
- 2:49Speaker 2: then all of a sudden he's here in the aisle
- 2:52Speaker 2: with a half full basket. That was the other thing.
- 2:56Speaker 2: So I've been shopping for a while and I was like,
- 3:01Speaker 2: how does that happen? We were in the car driving
- 3:05Speaker 2: directly two set supermarket. He was walking along the street
- 3:10Speaker 2: and somehow he then turns up at the supermarket before
- 3:14Speaker 2: us and he's already done half a shopping.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Might be because it took you ten minutes to get there,
- 3:20Speaker 3: but that's a five minute drive.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Either that or he's got a body double, That's what
- 3:29Speaker 1: I wondered.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Yeah, the boy. Either that or none of those happened
- 3:34Speaker 3: and you spent the whole day sitting on your couch
- 3:36Speaker 3: watching TV. Are you losing It?
- 3:40Speaker 1: Could be that. I still think it might be the
- 3:42Speaker 1: body double though what.
- 3:46Speaker 2: It's been suggested keysy, he's a very busy man. Oh yes,
- 3:51Speaker 2: and you know he's a man of the people, as
- 3:53Speaker 2: he's known. I'm wondering, is there two John Campbell's?
- 3:58Speaker 1: Do you freak out either?
- 3:59Speaker 2: But the thing that freaked me out about If that's
- 4:01Speaker 2: the case, he was dressed exactly the same.
- 4:04Speaker 3: You'd have to to sell it.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah, But then how would you know though? If you
- 4:08Speaker 2: only saw one of the John Campbell's, Yeah, and then
- 4:12Speaker 2: you didn't see the second one. I mean he could
- 4:14Speaker 2: be wearing a completely different outfit, but you'd never know
- 4:18Speaker 2: because you never saw the second one. You only saw
- 4:20Speaker 2: the first one.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yeah, And on.
- 4:22Speaker 2: That if that were true, they'd have to coordinate and
- 4:26Speaker 2: have matching Wardrobes.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I'll go to the toilet over back in a minute.
- 4:32Speaker 4: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 4:36Speaker 2: He's indeed Pearl Jam there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show.
- 4:40Speaker 2: This's Tuesday night, now, fellas. I know this isn't on
- 4:44Speaker 2: our schedule for today, but boy, oh boy, do I
- 4:47Speaker 2: have a bone to peck. He's got a bone to pick,
- 4:53Speaker 2: and it's in relation to a post that was just
- 4:56Speaker 2: put on our Instagram account, the Radio Hodarcky Big Show. Yes,
- 5:01Speaker 2: we're Old pugs Son who joins us? Now? It's pubs.
- 5:07Speaker 6: Evening. Fellas, how are.
- 5:08Speaker 2: You posted a photo of you two fellas, Keezy and
- 5:14Speaker 2: Old Mogian you're double denims.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that was a nice photo.
- 5:24Speaker 2: And I was like, good looking fellas there, thank you.
- 5:28Speaker 2: And then in the same post there's a post of
- 5:30Speaker 2: old Howdy J with.
- 5:32Speaker 1: It a post a post within a post, and it was.
- 5:34Speaker 2: The most a photo of Howdy J. There is you
- 5:38Speaker 2: two fellas. There's two photos of you, two fellas, and
- 5:40Speaker 2: then a photo of me and it's horrendous. It look well,
- 5:44Speaker 2: it is harrendous photo.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I don't remember seeing this, And I.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Said to Pegs Pugs, what the hell, men, that is
- 5:55Speaker 2: a horrific photo of me? And he went, yeah, I
- 5:58Speaker 2: know you're talking about this one, yes, and he said yeah,
- 6:02Speaker 2: I know. So he knew it was horrific and he
- 6:07Speaker 2: posted it in anyway, I.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Think, and put me right if I'm wrong here, Pisa.
- 6:12Speaker 3: But if it was a good photo, it wouldn't have
- 6:14Speaker 3: gone up.
- 6:16Speaker 6: Well that's something entirely true, because I thought the photo
- 6:18Speaker 6: of you and Chris was really good.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah no, but.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Yeah no, you're right. If it's awful, it goes up boom.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Do you want to, Jase?
- 6:28Speaker 4: Would make you feel more comfortable if we put in
- 6:30Speaker 4: place some sort of protocol, I think?
- 6:32Speaker 1: So okay, So.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Pugs, hello, what is the current protocol for posting photos
- 6:36Speaker 4: of jas?
- 6:37Speaker 6: You know, it's a pretty high pressure industry, this media,
- 6:41Speaker 6: one of ours and.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Chase.
- 6:45Speaker 6: And in that moment, I needed to get a post
- 6:46Speaker 6: up and I thought, shivers, I've got this photo of
- 6:48Speaker 6: Kezy and Mogi. Where is the crucial third component to
- 6:53Speaker 6: this show? I need to get up a photo of
- 6:55Speaker 6: Jase in that post, a post within a post, if
- 6:58Speaker 6: you will, And I thought, shivers, here he comes, and
- 7:00Speaker 6: now through the door boom, snap up in the post.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Right, so you didn't even look at the photo, just boom.
- 7:07Speaker 3: He looked at the photo and then threw his head
- 7:09Speaker 3: back and laughed heartily.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Right, So am I rid saying that the current protocol
- 7:14Speaker 4: for posting a photo of Jays? Yeah, it's taking as
- 7:17Speaker 4: shit of a photo as possible and then just post it.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, there's pretty much. Yeah, Okay, I'm actually happy
- 7:23Speaker 1: with that protocol for me.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Well, you know the way, I'm no, we shall not
- 7:30Speaker 2: go to a vote, because there's plenty of opportunities for
- 7:34Speaker 2: you to take cool photos of j Man. I'm looking
- 7:38Speaker 2: sharp at the moment, and you deliberately cracked out a
- 7:43Speaker 2: wide wonky lens zero five. You put it right above
- 7:47Speaker 2: my sniles as I walked in the door and just
- 7:49Speaker 2: snapped it. I look like I'm dying, for God's sake.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Can I just say we got as much of your
- 7:54Speaker 6: outfit in the photo as possible because of that angle,
- 7:56Speaker 6: So we actually got your cool black jacket, your boy's
- 7:59Speaker 6: trip hat, and your black shirt with white buttons.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Yeah. But Jay, so you're welcome.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Do you want?
- 8:04Speaker 1: Would you like pugs to take the post down?
- 8:07Speaker 2: Yes? No, I think it's been.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Ridiculous, to be honest, it's really unreasonable. Yeah, it's been
- 8:11Speaker 1: very unreasonable, Magie.
- 8:12Speaker 3: What do you think all those in favor of keeping
- 8:14Speaker 3: it up? Yeah, all those in favor of taking it down,
- 8:20Speaker 3: no one.
- 8:22Speaker 1: That's weird, Okay, leave it up there. In fact, I'm
- 8:24Speaker 1: gonna put Turner Bucks my own money behind it. It's
- 8:26Speaker 1: got the hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold I Can.
- 8:35Speaker 2: You order there on the radio Hold Archy Big Show
- 8:38Speaker 2: this Thursday evening. The time is five forty nine.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Holdy Jay. You might not know this, but Pugs has
- 8:44Speaker 1: been very busy lately. Yes, after work. In fact, last night, Pugs,
- 8:48Speaker 1: you went to a gig, didn't you?
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 8:50Speaker 6: I did, and Preebs actually went there as well. So
- 8:53Speaker 6: it was myself plus one. My partner came along and
- 8:55Speaker 6: Prebs was also there.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Cats Lucent gigs old Preebs doesn't he that's why he
- 8:59Speaker 2: was out of yeah boy? Yeah.
- 9:03Speaker 6: So it was a pianist in a church pattern. The
- 9:07Speaker 6: gig was a pianist that had come over from America
- 9:09Speaker 6: and it was hosted in a church a pianist, and
- 9:12Speaker 6: it was a pianist and she was performing the piano
- 9:15Speaker 6: in the church around about.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Near where I live in Mount Eden.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Wow, okay, nice.
- 9:20Speaker 6: She's come over from America. She's known for experimental, experimental piano.
- 9:25Speaker 6: Kelly Moranza name.
- 9:26Speaker 1: It's not my usual kind of gig, if I'm honest, but.
- 9:30Speaker 6: It was a really, really beautiful, transcendental gig. Jace, you
- 9:33Speaker 6: would have loved it. Yeah, I know you like you're
- 9:35Speaker 6: a mode of piano churns.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I do very much so, Cleard Loon.
- 9:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:40Speaker 1: What was the name of that guy who's album you
- 9:42Speaker 1: lined to play on piano from start to finish?
- 9:44Speaker 2: Oh, Paul Buchanan.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, so Pugs, you said something weird happened at
- 9:50Speaker 4: this gig.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Oh, it was very strange.
- 9:52Speaker 6: Okay, So imagine you're in a small church, so obviously
- 9:54Speaker 6: high ceilings, but you can kind of see everybody because
- 9:56Speaker 6: everybody's in the pewes. Yeah, and maybe halfway through the gig,
- 10:00Speaker 6: she's doing one of these like ten minute long piano pieces.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Very emotive.
- 10:04Speaker 2: She's really feeling it.
- 10:05Speaker 6: We're all feeling it.
- 10:05Speaker 2: You know.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It's quiet, it's there's no vocals, it's all so punishing.
- 10:10Speaker 6: But yeah, okay, yeah, it was quite beautiful and maybe
- 10:13Speaker 6: halfway through, my partner goes, I really got to go
- 10:16Speaker 6: to the bathroom. But it's like there hasn't been applause
- 10:18Speaker 6: and ages because the songs are so bloody long. I'm like,
- 10:20Speaker 6: you just got to go, You really just got to
- 10:21Speaker 6: get up and go.
- 10:22Speaker 1: She gets up and goes.
- 10:24Speaker 6: The minute she walks out the door and goes to
- 10:27Speaker 6: the bathroom, I hear a cry out and in the
- 10:30Speaker 6: middle of the crowd, I'm like, Okay, maybe someone's really
- 10:33Speaker 6: just feeling it. Then I see a woman stand up
- 10:37Speaker 6: sort of like right front, not front center, maybe sick,
- 10:40Speaker 6: and row back and goes, we.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Need an ambulance.
- 10:43Speaker 6: Now, wow, in the middle of the piano piece.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Really yeah, I've never seen anything like it. Did she
- 10:48Speaker 1: stop playing?
- 10:49Speaker 6: She did not stop playing, even though someone was someone
- 10:52Speaker 6: said we need a doctor, we need an ambulance. Now
- 10:55Speaker 6: I'm talking full volume. Everybody's kind of looking around, going,
- 10:58Speaker 6: what the hell is this? There's a couple more peace,
- 11:00Speaker 6: We'll get up, And in my head I'm thinking, Okay,
- 11:01Speaker 6: someone's having a medical event, so they obviously need to
- 11:03Speaker 6: just need to get some help. Maybe feary this person
- 11:06Speaker 6: out And then so a guy gets up goes out
- 11:08Speaker 6: to call an ambulance. I see him on the phone,
- 11:11Speaker 6: and then he comes back in chicks again. It's like
- 11:14Speaker 6: she's playing, but she's kind of looking, kind of trying
- 11:16Speaker 6: to assist the situation, whether or not she stops. Maybe
- 11:19Speaker 6: like five ten minutes go by, Amelia comes back.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Sorry, my partner comes back and she sits down.
- 11:26Speaker 3: On the end of your road.
- 11:27Speaker 6: He comes back and nothing happens.
- 11:29Speaker 1: So was the person oka no idea?
- 11:32Speaker 6: So this whole massive kerfuffle in the middle of the song,
- 11:36Speaker 6: she doesn't stop playing. You've got a woman yelling at
- 11:38Speaker 6: full pout to call an ambulance, to get medical help,
- 11:40Speaker 6: get a doctor. Someone goes out, calls an ambulance. He
- 11:43Speaker 6: comes back on the phone and he looks. He all
- 11:45Speaker 6: I saw was him like look down the pew where
- 11:47Speaker 6: the person in question was and sort of look and
- 11:49Speaker 6: then go and then like the go the phone.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Now the hell happened?
- 11:54Speaker 2: I had no idea. Hello, don't take this the wrong way.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I feel like he's going to carry on.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Just didn't you? Because I know makes you say that.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I know how you like to go to gigs and stuff.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Were you maybe on it's some kind of.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Extracurricular, extra curricular, and that's some kind of none of
- 12:21Speaker 4: us actually occur.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I mean, it sounds like a made up story, doesn't it.
- 12:25Speaker 3: A ship.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Yeah, what actually happened was you were and the pew
- 12:31Speaker 2: and you.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Just wit your pants.
- 12:34Speaker 6: I didn't wonder why it was very moist.
- 12:36Speaker 4: And maybe the reason they were calling an ambulance is
- 12:40Speaker 4: because you were wearing your sick vest and someone's like.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Calling an ambulance that vest is sick. Maybe that's what happened.
- 12:48Speaker 4: No, that's the whole achy Big Show with J, Mike
- 12:53Speaker 4: and Keysy tune in week days at four on Radio
- 12:56Speaker 4: Hodarkey
