E-Scooter Regulations Tightening
Illegal e-scooters could be seized and destroyed under new plans being considered by the Government. It follows changes announced earlier this week banning e-scooters for under 18s, with a further clampdown expected in September. In August, higher fines will come into effect to get a seized scrambler returned. Junior Transport Minister Sean Canney says he’s looking at similar fines for e-scooter users.
