- Amanda: What is up, guys? Welcome back to another episode of Let's Talk Football Married Edition. It is Monday, September 28th, week three, other than Monday night football, has officially wrapped and in the books. And well, as always, got a shit ton of chaos to talk about. We're just gonna rip the band-aid off, though, because literally yesterday afternoon I was concerned for Drew's mental health at some point. nose to nose with the television. It was like a just absolute roller coaster of emotion. So Drew, give us a l a little fantasy football week three debrief from how you felt after week three. Drew: It was full tilt yesterday. Like full tilt. Like standing up in front of the television at the end of games worrying about what was gonna happen. And like I need a I need Lamar to score a touchdown to put me up, but I'm also worried about Tyler Shuck turning the ball over fucking four times in the fourth Amanda: Yeah. Drew: quarter. And then what if it's not him and it gets reversed because it wasn't a fumble by him and then the next play, Juwan Johnson fumbles the football, who I also have on my team. And like I'm just trying to scrape by with wins here. it was, I mean, full on tilt. And then it all came down in I've got four leagues and two of them were already settled early. One of them I dominated in and one of them I just got destroyed in. So these other two ones that I was really close, and it all came down to a few players, but I had no players after the four o'clock game. So I'm trying to get myself a buffer and be in the lead. And basically it all came down to last night's game, where In one league, I I was up by like nineteen points in both leagues. In one league, the only player left to play for any team was Bo Nicks on the other team. And then in the other league, I was against Jalen Waddle, and he was the only player left in the matchup. And both of them, I was like, all right, nineteen points or less, and I win both matchups. And I watched the first two and a half quarters of the Sunday night game before I fell asleep. Obviously being East Coast, it's you know eleven thirty by that time. And everything was looking good. And then I woke up this morning and saw that Bo Nicks just terrorized the Rams in the second half. And Jalen Waddle didn't do anything. So good news there. I won that matchup, but Bo Nicks did take me down the other one, which is especially frustrating because I have I've had Bo Amanda: Because your bow has done you dirty before. Drew: Nicks for two years in one league in my home league, like the most important league to me. And he just screwed me for two years straight. And then now let's just make it a third year. The week that I play him, he decides to actually play well. So that seems to be the theme of this year is star players absolutely going nuclear against me, like Jameer Gibbs went against him in two leagues yesterday. So super fun. Amanda: It feels good. It feels really good to have Jameer Gibbs on your team. I have had like the most unf like I want knock on wood, stress-free fantasy football season. My teams, I have three and three for all of my league so far. And three and yeah. I'm feeling good. I'm feeling good. I'm feeling peaceful. Drew: Three and Yeah, for all three of your leagues. Yeah. It's super annoying when I'm over here stressing and then a man is like half paying attention because it doesn't fucking matter because she's already dominating. Amanda: My team had like 150 points and the girl that I was playing against had 50. And I was like, I think I'm okay. I think I'm okay. She had 50. Yeah. She had a lot of players go Drew: Fifty? Did she Amanda: in the late window, but she barely scored a hundred points. I scored like a hundred and eighty. No. No, no. There was someone last Drew: okay. Okay. Well I thought she finished with fifty. I like, I think I'd quit. I think I would just quit fantasy. Amanda: week who I think ended with like sixty or seventy points. Like just everyone. Drew: Yeah, you'll get you'll get in the sixty like a high sixties occasionally. I've I don't think I've ever seen a fifty something. That is damn near like half your players inju i early and then like a quarterback being negative and defense being negative. So Amanda: that's multiple players getting hurt. Yes. Yes. Yes. I was gonna say the no in Misfits, our other league, the girl girl I'm playing against is has sixty seven point nine points and she has just Jalen Hurts left to go. Yeah. And I have Drew: Ugh. That's gross. Amanda: a hundred and forty five. Drew: I do want to shout out okay, so we had a big Thursday night game that we needed to briefly Amanda: my god. Drew: talk about where Atlanta f just Michael Penix made all the difference, apparently. my also, we definitely called that right, which was play Drake London and wait on Kyle Pit and wait Amanda: Looked c everyone take a deep breath for Drake London because like you good, you Gucci. Yeah. Don't play. Drew: on Kyle Pitts, and Drake London got everything and Kyle Pitts did nothing still. So Drake London Amanda: Validated. Drew: will be fine. Michael Penix, competent. I don't know if he's good, but he's competent. Cooper Rush again. Amanda: That's all we need. Drew: shouldn't be in the NFL. and then a huge shout out to Tasha in the wedding party on our Patreon, who comment of the week was touchdown stealing bargain brand Bijon in reference to Brian Robinson Jr., who's the backup running back on the Falcons, who has the same last name and close jersey number to B. John and stole a touchdown. But I think Tasha, you'll be f yeah, that was a great comment. Amanda: Top tier comedy. I laughed so hard at like because it's so funny, like Bargain Brand, Bijan, because like the last name, fur I mean, Brian, Bijan, it's just like so similar. It's hilarious. Drew: I I think she'll be all right though, 'cause Bijan had d what, a hundred and ninety five yards rushing and it was Amanda: If if you were at the beginning of the draft and you were able to get Bijon or Jameer Gibbs, you are sitting pretty right now. Like it is Drew: yeah. Amanda: hard to be taken down with those two guys on your team right now. Obviously, like Bijan had a a rough week last week, but like that's gonna happen to anybody. But like geez Pete, you're just I I with Jameer Gibbs, I feel unstoppable. Unstoppable. Drew: for sure. At this point in the in the At this point in the league, you have to feel pretty good about pretty much all of the top picks. I mean, Gibbs, Robinson, Jamar Chase, McCaffrey, JT, JSN, CD, they're all playing great. The one first round, at least high first round, that is sucking right now is Puka and that's injury related. He didn't Amanda: Yeah. Drew: play again. It's like a groin hip thing. I don't know how long it's gonna take for him to come back, but we'll see. Amanda: All right. Well, in the episode today, we're gonna go over all of our common stuff. We'll go top performers and disappointments on the weekend. We're gonna go over all of the big injury news you need to know about, getting you prepped for waivers, obviously. But first, let's start with some trade conversations. Specifically to this is great if you started off with a rough start to the season and you're panicking a little bit. How to kind of improve your overall roster. So Drew, kick us off with a little bit of trade conversations here. Drew: Yeah, first thing I want to mention is like, look, we're three weeks in. If you're and three or a bad one and two, I get panic is starting to sit in, set in. What am I gonna do? Look, don't give up on the season. Plenty of people have come back from 0 3. I've seen people come back from 0 and 4 and win championships before. So like it's okay, right? Injuries can make a big imp impact early, both to your players or to surrounding players. Offensive linemen can hurt. production for other players, things like that. So like don't panic. There's always a way out. Just becomes a little bit more difficult, right? So one thing that you gotta look at is trades, right? So is it time to move on from players or maybe I need to, you know, I've got a lot of injuries and I really need a win. Is it time to pull the trigger on I've got one really good player that's playing really well But I've got a lot of holes my team. Do I trade my one star player for two or three good players to fill out my roster? Right. Look, it's generally always better to have those star players because that's how you can win championships, because you need those star players and you need the rest of your lineup to be filled out. But if you've got a receiver that scores 35 points and then you've got a running back that scores five and a flex player that scores two, right? That's still forty two points. If you can trade that one player and get three players back and score, you know, 20 points and 15 points and 10 points, that's 45 points. So you're gonna be better off, right? So a few things to go over with trades is value versus production, right? So I've seen some people on our Patreon that have been offered trades or was thinking about offering trades that were just absurd, right? There's a difference between value and production. Just because you've got a player like before Kyle or before Drake London went off this last week, that his production was awful, but his value is higher because he was a high drafted player. That is the number one who's been a top 12 receiver in the past. Don't trade him for a bag of peanuts because he's had two bad weeks, right? Don't get taken advantage of. You need to Still add his value and his perceived value into trades. So if you would have held him, look at the value that he has now versus what he had after week two. It's so much different. So we're gonna go into a few different scenarios and questions and things and talk about some different trade options. Amanda, right now, would you target Tucker Kraft as a tight end target? Amanda: gosh. I it's awful start to the year. The O line Drew: Awful start to the year. But he's involved. Amanda: he's involved. The O line is struggling with a capital S. So like we're watching Jordan Love just not have any time to get the ball Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: off. The run game cannot get going and that contributes to maybe not a potent run game on top of an O line that can't get anything blocked to get the run game going, which means the pass is predictable at this point. He has no time to pass the ball. What is his next three matchups look like? Who did they play? Drew: Let me double check on that real quick. Amanda: I think that's my biggest question mark is and that's something you wanna look at too, is like if you're thinking about a guy, 'cause like Tucker Kraft is an involved player, Jaden Reed's going to miss significant time likely. So like that gives more opportunities to Kraft. Then I wanna look at, okay, what does their schedule look like? And is this even gonna be relevant or not? Drew: Mm-hmm Tamp T he goes to Tampa Bay next week, then he's home against Chicago and home against Dallas. So pretty good matchups moving forward. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: I think it's a good target. Amanda: I think you can buy him really low right now too, because he hasn't had good production. You could probably get him fairly cheap in the tight end role. Drew: Yeah. So if you're if you're sh if you're struggling or you need some trades and you need to improve your team, these are the type of things you need to look at to get back into it. Because you're not gonna be able to trade a bad player for a good player and do that three or four times and your team's just gonna be good, right? What you need to look at is for you need to find value, you need to find disappointing players and take shots that they have the potential to be very good. So you're gonna take the discounted player effectively for a player that's playing better so that you can maximize your value. So trading a Dalton Kincaid for a Tuckercraft and a piece could and then all of a sudden if Tuckercraft plays as well as Dalton Kincaid or better and you get a piece on top of it, all of a sudden now you've filled another spot and you've kept the same value at tight end. So Tuckercraft things you want to look at like Targets, right? Six targets, three targets, eight targets. It's pretty good. Four for eight this past week dropped a c Amanda: Mm-hmm. And good matchups coming up. Drew: dropped a couple plus passes. You want to look at good matchups, right? So I think that's a good target. What about, you know, like a Dalton Kincaid, like I just mentioned. Would you keep trade or or keep or trade Dalton Kincaid? Like would you trade him away on the value that he's had through three weeks? I know he had a down week this last week, but a lot of it was the fumble. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: he had a great first two weeks. Would you be trying to move on from him to pick up like a Tuckercraft and maybe get a piece or even a straight trade? Amanda: Yeah, I think I would look at too, like, what does my roster need? I think Dalton Kincaid is a guy you could use as really great leverage because he has been so involved in the offense. There's a lot of high point scoring weeks. Sometimes that's all it takes is for people to see like, he scored massive points. And if Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: you're in a running back j absolute tragedy and you need a running back, you can use Dalton Kincaid to leverage another piece on your roster. So I think it depends. If if I if I don't I wouldn't try to upgrade Dalton Kincaid, I would I would keep him. I wouldn't go Dalton Kincaid and take cut Tucker Kraft. I would just stick with Kincaid in my opinion, I would use Dalton Kincaid for a trade if I needed to get another asset. And I was okay, maybe I have, you know, Fannon on my bench and I was like, okay, he's been, you know, getting more involved in the offense. The Browns offense has looked more competent. I can move into Fannon being a tight end. And if I need to stream, I stream. And then I use Dalton Kincaid as leverage for a wide receiver or a running back to really help me elsewhere. That's probably how I'd use him more than looking at could I upgrade the tight end position for Kincaid? I'm not sure if there Drew: Well no, I'm thinking more of like the craft manager not very satisfied with what they've had so far. And you Amanda: for sure. Drew: and you had Kincaid, do you think that you could pull off a Dalton Kincaid for Tucker Craft and a piece? Amanda: Yeah, absolutely. It I mean contextual on the piece, but like I think you could probably go out now, obviously we don't know enough about Justin Jefferson's injury, but like you could probably go Kincaid craft Addison, 'cause Addison's been so disappointing. If someone didn't realize what was happening with J J, you might be able to sharpen that knife or Woody Marks. Woody Marks craft for Kincaid. Mm-hmm. Drew: Okay. Or what a Yeah, that that's what I was thinking. Like a running back situation where a lot of running backs have gotten hurt or they're disappointing. Could you one, would you do a Dalton Kincaid for Tuckercraft and Tony Pollard if somebody's got extra running backs on their roster? Would you do that? I don't know that you could get it done, but Amanda: Probably not Tony Pollard. Okay. I I I I would rather Drew: I would. It y I would. Amanda: look at like a Woody Marks and then yeah, smash the button, I'm doing that. Drew: All right, a couple other ones here. these are ones that I I would look at doing. These are a couple examples, and there's reasoning behind it. So, like, I would trade Cam Scataboo for Treyvion Henderson straight up right now. Reason I would do this. Cam Scatabo has outperformed Trayvon Henderson through three weeks. Cam Scattaboo. Amanda: That's crazy to think about 'cause like when you look at it it doesn't feel like that, but when the data tells us otherwise. Drew: Absolutely. So Scataboo eleven points per game in half PPR through three weeks. Trevion Henderson had one good game, missed a game, and just had three point four in yesterday's game. So he's coming off a low one. So now's the time to strike. They're probably already upset that he's he's had one week and it was really just one run, right? But Cam Scataboo has the hardest running back schedule over the next four weeks. They do not have their quarterback anymore. They can't really move the football real well, and they're losing defensive pieces. So hard schedule, bad offense now. And then Treyvon Henderson has the second easiest running back schedule over the next four weeks and coming off a bad game. So I think this is a scenario where you could do a scatterboo for Henderson. I think you might be able to do scatterboo for Henderson plus a piece. Now it's not going to be a great piece, but I think you might be able to get like a Trey Tucker or a Devon Vale. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Or maybe somebody's got two tight ends and you could get one of their two tight ends, like a Joan Johnson or Harold Amanda: Darren Waller. Drew: Darren Waller as an additional piece, I would do that in a heartbeat because I think Trevion Henderson will outperform Scataboo over the next few weeks. another one that I would look at is maybe trading away Ladd McConkey for Matthew Golden. Amanda: You think you could actually pull that off right now? 'Cause Golden ha did just come off of a really good week and has been highly targeted on the offense. Drew: It depends on the league, but I think it's worth asking because Ladd has a bigger name value than Matthew Amanda: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Drew: Golden does. Matthew Golden over the next four weeks has Tampa Bay, Chicago, Dallas, and Detroit over the next four. That is a great schedule that I want to target and he is super Amanda: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Drew: involved. Lad McConkey has Seattle, Denver, Kansas City, bye week, Rams, Houston. Amanda: the chargers. Drew: I their offense is also so inept right now that Amanda: Who Drew: I think Ladd can be game planned out and the other teams are gonna say, yeah, go ahead and beat us with Trey Harris and Quentin Johnston and a Ronde Gadsden, Amanda: Quentin Johnston. Drew: which they're not gonna be able to do. So Amanda: Mm mm. Drew: Ladd is one that I am really trying to trade away right now and trying to find any good value. If you can get a Matthew Golden, if you could get a Travien Henderson. I'm pulling that trigger immediately right now because that schedule is brutal coming up. Amanda: Yeah, absolutely. No, I I like that. If you can pull that off, I think ga I would immediately take Golden over over Ladd for sure. Obviously schedule wise, but also just the the offense or the trust in Golden has just it's been he's been used so much and it looks good. Drew: All right, so one more that I got for you. Let me get your opinion on this. Would you, without looking anything up, let's say you had you have Joe Burrow, great quarterback, obviously, would you Amanda: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Drew: trade if I offered you Joe Burrow for Brock Purdy and Trey Tucker? Would you take Like if you let's say I had Burrow and you wanted Burrow, would you take Burrow for Purdy and Trey Tucker? Amanda: No. Mm mm. I'd hold on to borrow. Mm-hmm. Drew: No. We you'd hold on to Burrow. Okay. So this is kind of my point, right? People w think the perceived value of Joe Burrow is so high that I Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: think you could get Brock Purdy plus four Joe Burrow. So Amanda: I think you could too, correct. Drew: if I'm if I have Joe Burrow and I could look at Brock Purdy's lineup, and this is assuming that I am one and two or and three and I've got holes in my roster. If I have Brock Joe Burrow and I have other holes in my roster. I am looking for the Brock Purdy manager and seeing if I could trade Joe Burrow away from my team to pick up Brock Purdy plus another piece. I would do that in a heartbeat Amanda: Yeah. Drew: because I'm okay with Brock Purdy. So far this year, Joe Burrow, 20 points per game, half PPR. How many half point PPR? How many points per game do you think Brock Purdy's at? Amanda: I I it's gotta be higher than that. In high twenties? Drew: Thirty two. Amanda: Whew. Are you not a little bit worried about every week we lose some type of offensive asset from Brock Purdy? I mean, we just saw Mike Evans get taken down by the substation. Who's next? Is Brock Purdy next? Drew: Nope. Nope. Nope. Doesn't matter. It doesn't, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Look who he's thrown to over the last three or four years of his career. It it's Amanda: I mean a bunch of dudes, I know. Drew: Rand he he he's he's very good in that offense. He's very, Amanda: Yeah. They scheme him well. Drew: very efficient. And they throw the ball to the running back. So even if you're at the goal line, you're not afraid, like I am with Lamar Jackson, that they're just Amanda: Yeah. Kittle CMC, hold it down, yeah. Drew: gonna turn around and hand the ball to Derrick Henry to get stuffed Amanda: Did you Drew: Eight times in a row on the fucking goal line. I talk about Amanda: To do nothing, nothing at all. I like, What the fuck? Drew: talk about yesterday when I was tilting. When you're on the fucking goal line, my Amanda: it was the Derrick Henry. Drew: God. When you're I you have Derek Henry. Give him the ball on the goal line. That's n I have no problem with that. What I have a problem with is Lamar Jackson, who is the most athletic quarterback probably ever to play the game of football. Maybe you have an argument that Michael Vick's there too, right? But one of the most athletic quarterbacks to ever play the game. And you're putting him under center and turning around and just handing the ball off as opposed to putting him in sh Amanda: You're not even using him! Drew: as opposed to just putting him in shotgun and having the defense have to read whether it's a handoff to Henry or Lamar keeper. That takes one defender completely out of the play as that defensive end. Because if he crashes, he knows that Lamar's gonna walk in for a touchdown. And if Amanda: Yes. Drew: he stays home, that's one less guy that Derek Henry has to try to get through. Plus that linebacker. Amanda: try to manhandle through cause like he wasn't going anywhere. Drew: Yes, plus that linebacker that's playing has to either commit immediately or it makes him think and just be a half second late as opposed to just bowling through the line and tackling Derrick Henry as soon as he takes the handoff. Sorry, s just a a diatribe that I'm my god. anyway, yeah, Amanda: Tangent. It was rough. Drew: I would target if I needed to, I would target Brock Purdy with Joe Burrow. I know it's a specific circumstance, but I like Brock Purdy's entire outlook for the entire year. Amanda: Yeah. All right. Well, keep in mind again, use trades to help your roster. Even if you are down bad on the season so far, there is still so much opportunity to bolster your overall roster. Let's get into the injuries from week number three because they're rolling in and the running backs seem to have taken a large hit this week. So get into the injuries, Drew. Drew: Yeah, there's some big names here. Devon Achan, knee injury, doesn't look good. MR Yeah, Amanda: bleak. It looks bleak. Drew: i they I assume that we'll get news sometime today. or you know, we're rec Amanda: Think he's done. Drew: we're recording this on Monday. It'll it'll come out on Tuesday. So I'm assuming by the time this podcast comes out that it'll be announced that he's done for the year. Brees Hall left the game. R I expected Monday. Braylon Allen and Porton handcuffs coming through. Bucky Irving, another starting running back, left in the fourth quarter, did not return. We do not know what the injury is or the severity of it. It was kind of just this weird he left the game standing on the sidelines. Amanda: just thought like he was on the sideline. Like when I read the injury report, I was like, when they announced it yesterday during the game, it just they made it seem like he was just standing on the sidelines 'cause like there was no shot they were gonna win that game. But Drew: Yeah. I have seen no updates on what it was or the severity of it. So, we'll update that on Thursday's episode. Travis A. Chan Jr., hamstring injury, did not return to the game, was involved. They gave him a ton of work early. It looked like they were consolidating it back to him, and then he got hurt. He tweaked his hamstring that he was already dealing with during the week. I would expect him to probably miss a week or two at this point. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Tajay Spears, ankle injury, hurt, cleared to return, but basically didn't see much, if any, work. and then we get a couple big receivers. Justin Jefferson, Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: ankle injury, ruled out early, left the game early, did not return. Further evaluation expected. Amanda: And there was like no information on what the hell happened either. It was just like there was no video Drew: Yeah. Amanda: to like show anything drastic. It was just gone. Drew: Yeah. I have him in two leagues and I'm worried. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Mike Evans left with a rib injury. It was a real weird it you couldn't really tell what happened, but it looked like he had a hard time breathing, so we'll see. Amanda: He was like really in pain too, like barely made it to the side of the field and then collapsed. I was like, no. Drew: Yeah, that was a weird one. a couple more here. Jalen Coker, quad injury. Look, this is the story of his career. He's been really good when Amanda: Mm. Drew: he's played. He just cannot stay on the field. He already had a quad or already had a Amanda: Ankle. Drew: ankle injury, and then now he's got a quad injury. So we'll see what happens. Jack Besh, broken forearm, he's going to the IR. And Baker Mayfield, the very last play of the game for their offense, his right thumb, he went to throw the football and his thumb got stuck on a player who was trying to block the pass and it bent backwards and dislocated. It looked pretty gross. I I would imagine that he's gonna be out for a while. I don't see how that can yeah, Amanda: It was just throwing hand, yeah. Drew: it's just throwing hand. I can't imagine how he's gonna be able to grip a football for at least a couple of weeks. Amanda: Yeah, which takes the O and three Tampa Bay Buccaneers to scary territory. Drew: I can't imagine Todd Bowles making it through halfway through the season. I I would be shocked Amanda: No. Drew: if he's not fired. Amanda: God, that backup quarterback came on and I'm like, God, could you imagine like having to step in? All he has is Hail Mary's left and just having to Drew: Yeah. Amanda: step into that game. That's nerve nerve wracking. Drew: Yeah, there's definitely an impact there with the receivers at this point. Amanda: Yep. Drew: So it check in once we get more on the injury, we'll go over on Thursday. Good news is their backup it's rookie Jalon Daniels, who was not expected to take be the backup this year. He played so well in the preseason that they actually cut their backup and elevated him to be their backup. So Amanda: Love it underdog story, my favorite kind. Drew: Yeah, so hopefully that works out, but all right. Amanda: All right, well, that's our bleak injury report for the week. Like we said, we'll get you more information on Thursday when we go over sit starts and more information comes out. Let's dive into a fun segment. Let's celebrate some top performers on the week. We're gonna dive into our quarterbacks of the week and starting with a familiar name here Mr. Drew: Mm who's that number one? Who's that number one? Amanda: Brock, babyface Brock Purdy, baby. yeah, so Brock Purdy is at the top of our list here of 31.3 half PPR points. Going into Sam Darnold, which again, I test told me Sam Darnold did not do well from a fantasy football output. The data tells us otherwise, because even though he looked like he struggled, he still nonetheless had 379 passing yards. we have Gino Smith, one of our girls in the Patreon, said, You know what? I think I'm just gonna put on my adult appends and play Gino Smith. And I was like, girl, get it. I love it. Clench the butt and hope for the best, baby. And Gino delivered. Yeah. Drew: I d we did mention we did mention on Thursday that that was a potential streaming option this week. Amanda: Absolutely. We've got Geno Smith, Jacoby Bursett. So the top of this list, right? Brad Purdy, Sam Darnold, Geno Smith, Jacoby Bursett. Bo Nicks, Tyler Shook, a miss throwing 85 million interceptions at the end. two fumbles. I'm sorry, my bad. Drew: He threw one interception, he had two fumbles. huh. Amanda: That was just his the line was just the the Raiders defense was were giving him a hell of a time there. Drew: Yeah, the offensive tackle being hurt is a problem. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: yeah, i he's good, but he is just he was under so much I the the game plan Amanda: No time. Drew: the game plan right now if you're playing against the Saints is just blitz the shit out of them because Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: their offensive line is struggling right now. but anyway, old man Aaron Rodgers had a good week. Amanda: Uh-huh. Drew: Surprisingly enough, 23 points. huh. Matt Matt Staff Amanda: Old man Matt Stafford too. Drew: had a pretty decent week. Joe Burrow. Kirk old man Kirk Cousins, pretty decent week. Tell Amanda: Get that old man. Drew: you what, the three and Raiders looking pretty good right now. Amanda: my gosh, I know. Drew: Trevor Lawrence had a pretty decent week. Mar old Amanda: He sure did. Drew: old man Marcus Mariota had a this is a week of the elderlies. My goodness. Amanda: It is the week of the old guys coming in hot here. Drew: Lamar twenty points. He did all right. And Deshaun Watson, twenty points. Look at that. by the way, two and one brownies. What do we think about it? Amanda: I don't know the two in one brownies and the two in one Steelers. What is this alternate universe we're living in? What is happening? Yeah. Drew: Who would have who who who would have thought? no. Pretty good week. Unfortunately, a lot of the people on this a lot of the guys on this list didn't really help anybody out because they weren't started, right? Not many people started Darnold or Brissett. I doubt that Aaron Rodgers was on rosters, Kirk Cousins. Amanda: No, I think the two biggest names, like oddball names I saw were Darnold and Smith were people that like they had to go into the depths of despair because they had Jackson Dart and there was no one left on Drew: Sure. Amanda: the waiver wires and they held it down for you if you had to go into the the difficult territory there. Drew: Yeah, I'd say look, biggest things here. Brock Purdy is an every week start. He's just he's there Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: now. He is in an every week start territory. Tyler Shuck is damn near every week start. and then a bunch of these other guys, they're they're still streamers, right? but I wouldn't Amanda: Do we feel like tea law is an every week start now? Drew: No. I still don't. I told you last week I didn't. Amanda: I still s I still stand ten toes down that like I can trust my boy to stand. Dominate shit. Drew: I think he's I think he is a most weak start. all right, anyway, let's get to the quarterbacks who I'm sorry, let's get to the running backs now who did well. Amanda: Running backs. We're gonna keep the overperformers still alive and well. We've got our common guys, obviously Jameer Gibbs, B. John Robinson, Derrick Henry, Kenneth Walker, CMC, James Cook, Snanuck in here with a Jeremiah Love. Jalen Warren had a good week being the only back there. Kyron Williams, Javante Williams, and Bichal Tutin all come in, Drew: Too too. Amanda: outperforming this week, looking great. Give me a little Jeremiah Love. Do we love him now a little bit more in the offense? Are they gonna love him more frequently? I'm a dork, it's fine. Drew: That's too many times saying the word love. look, this is just what you're gonna expect to see from time to time. They're building up. They're gonna use him more as the season goes. It's a rookie. They were competing in that game. It it's it he's gonna get more work as the season goes. Algiers still gonna be involved and some weeks it's gonna work out when he scores a touchdown and has to catch more passes. some weeks it's not, right? I I am still I All year long I felt confident in Jeremiah Love. You're gonna put him in the lineup and he's he's just a starting running back on your roster, right? Early they're they're still gonna be giving a lot of Tyler Algier touches as the year goes on. So just plug and play, baby. Amanda: awesome. We'll let All right, let's get into our top performing wide receivers on the week as well. And again, some names we're happy to see at the top of this list. obviously, hello. JSN makes the top of our list. Drake London, welcome back to being relevant, my friend. It's good to have you here. Garrett Wilson looked good as well. Michael Wilson. I love when there's double names back to back here. Garrett Wilson, Michael Wilson, Jamar Chase, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, the double Green Bay Duo there. T. Higgins made the top of this list. Whoop, Jordan Addison. Obviously odd circumstances, but nonetheless, Jordan Addison. I don't know who this person is. Drew: Canada Mumpfield. Amanda: Canada Motfield. Who the fuck does that he play for? Drew: It was it was just a touchdown. Honestly, I forget who he plays for. Amanda: Hi, who do you play for? So that's my favorite when Drew and I are watching fantasy and like something happens where like just some random dude gets a touchdown and we're just like, Who? Like, well now Cody White, that's a this third touchdown. the Rams. Okay, that makes more sense. Drew: Rams. Yeah, i it's injury. It's but it don't worry about it. Amanda: Yeah, no, no, that's funny. Okay. Devontae Adams, Scary Terry McLaurin. We were, I know I was worried about Marcus Mariota holding that down. I it wasn't it was raining there as well, right? Yeah. So like I was worried about it, and Scary Terry, they they do connect well, and it was all good. Marcus Mariota was a competent quarterback for him. CeeDee Lamb, Jacoby Fucking Myers. We just talked about how we didn't think he was that relevant, but he got him a touchdown, Drew: Mm-hmm. Sniped a touchdown. Amanda: huh? Debo Samuel, huh? Drew: Super involved. Amanda: Super involved. And even more now if Mike Evans missed t misses time. Keenan Allen, just because he got a touchdown. Stupid Keenan Allen sniping sniping my stupid Yeah, they definitely they've Drew: He had nine targets. I think Keenan Allen is involved now. Amanda: well, now Keenan Allen, Josh Downs, Tyler Warren. They have like all the targets have now kind of split through those three guys with Alec Pierce being out. Chris Olave and Jondale Robinson. Drew: Wendell, Robinson. Yep. All right. So the ones I want to talk about here on this list, obviously, you know, the top guy is great. It's nice to see in London come back and perform. Amanda: Yes. Drew: We already talked about Matthew Golden and how he should be a target. Jordan Addison, good thing here is this is the first week we're with Kyler, right? So positive Amanda: Yes. Drew: news is Kyler basically didn't play week one because he got hurt so early, was out week two, he came back this week and Addison's production went up, which is great. We know with Carson Wentz, he typically targets one receiver and only one receiver. The downside to the Addison is this happened when Justin Jefferson got hurt. So we do not Amanda: Yeah. Drew: know if both of them are there, if they both are startable assets. Obviously, if Justin Jefferson's there, he is always a startable asset. It's just Amanda: For sure. Drew: is Addison startable when Jefferson's there and Kyler's on the field? And unfortunately we we still do not have an answer to that. So that sucks. Amanda: Yeah. It's an easy decision if obviously Jefferson misses time. Addison said easy plug and play, but Drew: Yes. Yeah. Amanda: until then you are still in a holding pattern to figure out what's gonna happen when they're both on the field together. Drew: Sure. That's the big one. everybody else is it's pretty normal. Debo's gonna be involved, so he should be on rosters and he should be playable because they're so injured. Terry McLaurin, that's great to see him with Mariota. And frankly, he was gonna get going a little bit as the season went on. It's just nice to see that he's there and not Stephon Diggs, because Stefan was getting so much of the targets. But like if you look at McLaurin, like last week, he should have had a touchdown when they through the receiver double pass and the guy just missed him. So like he's Amanda: Mm. Drew: just gotten unlucky. the only other one here is Keenan. Keenan Allen, I mean, should he be picked up everywhere if he's available? Amanda: I think he's a serviceable wide receiver right now, yes, for sure. Where like it it's a guy who's gonna get used. So it's better than like hoping that one of these secondary guys gets the work, right? Like holding on to someone like Makai Lemon. No, I'd rather take Keaton Allen because he's going to get work in that offense. so if you need a guy who you can put in your lineup who can at least get you a safe amount of points, I think Keenan's fine. I don't think he's ever gonna be your boom dude though. No, he's old. Drew: Just doesn't look good. It just doesn't look good. Amanda: all right, tight ends. Our top ten tight ends for the week here. Is it our top? Yeah, it is. Okay. Obviously, we've got some good guys here. George Kittle, welcome back. Brock Bowers, Harold Fannin Jr. Drew: Woo! Amanda: Kenyon Sadiq. We're gonna talk a little bit more about him in a hot second, but he is at the damn near top of this list. Juwan, yes, yeah. Kenyon Sadiq and Jawan Johnson, yeah. Drew: Mm-hmm. There's there's three in a row right here that we really need to talk about. Harold Fannon, Kenyan Sadiq, and Juwan Johnson. Those three I think we need to talk about a lot. So like Harold Fannon that's with Deshaun and he's Amanda: Target's up. Drew: been involved now two weeks in a row because he was involved last week. Amanda: And you know what? Watson from his week one to week three appearance, I mean even week one to week two, he's calmed down, he's Drew: He looks good. He looks good. Amanda: making accurate passes, he's r moving around in the pocket well well, accurate-ish. Yes, correct. Taper your expectations. Drew: Well, as accurate as Deshaun d that's kind of his one thing is his he's not the most accurate of passers. His h the reason he has been so good in the past, which again it's been six years since he's been good, it's his mobility is very good. It's Amanda: He's he's moving around good. Mm-hmm. Drew: his downsides have always been he's been slightly inaccurate as a passer. He makes really bad decisions sometimes, and he just doesn't tuck the football Amanda: Well, that tracks. Drew: when he runs, so he loses a lot of fumbles. but as long as he keeps the turnovers down, they're moving the ball. He's providing value to these fan to other players, which is great. So I think Fannon's now in the auto start territory for me. Amanda: Agreed. Agreed. Drew: Kenyon Sadiq, what do you think? Rookie, he's had two good games. Amanda: I know. This is I I I think this is an option. obviously, I think you're always dealing with a couple unknowns. You're dealing with Geno Smith, which he's hard to rely on because, well, it's Geno Smith at the end of the day. He is very turnover prone. He is not always the most like service serviceable quarterback in in the league. Nonetheless, he's done well. He's held the team down. The offense does not look bad by any means. I think Sadiq is someone who You look at picking up and could potentially replace either become an automatic starter for you if he keeps being used in this offense and replace your streaming potential, which, like, I know for me, I streamed Aradi Gaston this week in a league. He got me a big old zero whopping fucking points. I would much rather get goosed by someone who has potential to be actively involved personally. Drew: Yeah. All right. we've also got Jawan Johnson who he's just so involved that to Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: me he just needs to be in lineups. I think Joan Johnson should be in lineups. And I look, this is it's this is a weird thing to say, and most people would never suggest this. I think he could be a flex play and Amanda: yeah. Drew: be a double tight end option. So like if you if you picked him up and you already had a really good tight end and maybe Amanda: Brock Bauer's managers have Joan Johnson, yes. Drew: Brock Bowers. So let's say yes, if you had Brock Bowers and you picked up Joan Johnson to fill in for Brock Bowers when he was out, and now that Bowers is back, obviously you're gonna put Bowers in your tight end position. I think Joan don't drop Juwan Johnson. I think you can play both in like Brock Bowers can obviously always be played. I think Joan Johnson can damn near always be played. I've actually done it for two or three years in fantasy now where I've picked up a tight end like Joan Johnson or Darren Waller. I've done it with him. Especially when he was on was it Miami a couple of years ago when he just got like ultra targeted Amanda: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Drew: and I ended up just starting two tight ends. It's a very unconventional play, but there are just certain tight ends that just they get the ball all the time. Amanda: They're getting so many targets consistently, not just one flashlight of targets, but consistent targets involved in the offense often. Drew: Yeah, if we look at his target over the last Joan Johnson, let's see. Seven targets, four targets, and eight targets. Fourteen points, ten points, twenty-one points. Amanda: Love it. Drew: He just needs to be in your lineup. Amanda: Mm-hmm. I agree. I agree. And some people have Juwan Johnson and George Kittle because again, George Kittle, the injury stuff at the beginning, Drew: I do. Amanda: they yeah. Yeah, it these are c these are guys, big name guys that you might have two Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: of. Either you can absolutely play both of them, or it with our trade talks earlier, these could be guys that you could get good value out of. Like these are not chump, like Juwan Johnson's not a chump, you're gonna take no names for. You can get a big target for your team if you want to. God. Drew: Ch the pro yeah, I don't think you can. That's the problem in most leagues. People no. Amanda: You don't think you could drade Jawan Johnson for Matthew Golden? Drew: maybe people don't value the like the guy the tight ends that you pick up off of waivers that are in this realm that play really well and they could play well all year in my experience just don't get the value bump that they should because just they I don't know why. I I've just in my experience I you could do it. I I think I might s just keep Juwan Johnson in that situation though and say Amanda: Yeah, that's fair. That's fair. Drew: I'll keep Juwan and it depends on who I have, but if I've got Brock Bowers, I keep Joan Johnson for two reasons. One, 'cause I can play him, and two, because he Well, Amanda: yeah. Brock Bowers isn't a tight end, he's a wide receiver. Drew: yes, but you can only play him at tight end or flex. What I'm saying is I might Amanda: Yes. Drew: keep both because Brock has a propensity to miss a couple games and at Amanda: yeah. Drew: least I know I've got the guy there and I can play him at flex. But all Amanda: True nut. Drew: right. Amanda: Some other names up here. Obviously, we had Noah Fant, Tyler Higby, Travis Kelsey made his way back on this list. Jeremy Ruckert, I don't even know who he plays for. the Jets, got it. Okay. Trey well, I should Drew: Jets. He used a Ohio State product actually. Mm-hmm. Amanda: know that, but I don't. Trey McBride, Mike Isicki, that hurt Drew's ego. Mike Mayer and Drew: Pisses me off. Amanda: Tyler Warren, all making the top of this list. Tyler Warren Drew: Scrooge is secky. Amanda: hanging on by a thread there, but he made it. Drew: Yep, Tyler Warren there. Didn't hurt you. But yeah, Gesicki, Amanda: I know. S fucking gasicky. Drew: like, he does well. And then the week that I'm like, you what? It's a good matchup. He does nothing. Has zero targets last week. Goose eggs me. And I started him in a lineup. And then this week, which obviously I took him out of my lineup, scores Amanda: Yeah. Drew: a touchdown. So screw him. All that we're done with the optimistic part of the show, and in case any of you guys know my wife and I, Amanda is the optimist. Optimism. Optimistic? Opta what? Optimist? Optimist. That's the word I was looking for. She's the optim optimist in our relationship. I it's it's Amanda: Optimistic one. I'm the optimist to a fault, yes. he really struggled with that word, huh? Drew: just it's getting me right now. But she's the optimist in the relationship, so she gets to do the top performance. And then I am the pessimist, so I will do And introduce the disappointments of the week, starting with the quarterback position, Drake May, absolutely garbage quarterback at this point. I Amanda: Drake May. Drew: I look, I I personally am fully convinced that last year may be the best year of his career because he played shit defenses and shit teams and got away with just absolute theft by playing those teams, and now he's playing good defenses and looks. Terrible, terrible decision making. He's thrown three interceptions this year that like I think the dude's just blind. Like he threw Amanda: Ooh. Drew: right to the defender. So Drake May is a full on I'm done with him. he's beyond sit. I think I drop him. Yeah, I think I I I'm done with him. So Amanda: DTM. DTM list, baby. Done. Bye. god, I don't trust him. Hit that ball, literally, just slipped out of his Drew: Yeah, yeah, the the first fumble where he just lost it out of his hand, nobody touched him. Amanda: We were like, Drew: Yeah, so he to me look, if I would try to trade him very briefly, and then I would drop him if nobody takes the bait. Amanda: Yes. Drew: Daniel Jones, not a great week this week. Cam Ward came back at to reality. I probably shouldn't be on rosters anyway. Malik Amanda: Mm mm. Mm mm. Drew: Willis just I think he's a full drop at this point. He's it's he's not Amanda: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Drew: using his legs enough to be fantasy relevant and he's not good enough to be relevant without using his legs. So I think you can just drop him and then maybe if he starts to play better, you could stream him later in the year, but it's not worth a roster spot. Kyler, just kind of looks like he's been the last couple Amanda: Mm. Drew: of years. It doesn't look like he's returning back to great form yet. Amanda: Mm. Drew: CJ Stroud doing CJ Stroud things, throwing for 160 yards and a touchdown, but not being impressive. Baker Mayfield again turnover and got hurt, so you know, probably shouldn't be on your radar. Justin Herbert, is he full drop now? Amanda: Yeah, I don't want any part of it anymore. I'm good. I think there's so many other options. Even if I have to go desperate and stream, I I'd rather do that. It hurts Drew: Yeah, I think he's a Amanda: less. It hurts less. Drew: I think he's like Drake May. It's a try to find a trade and if you don't get one, drop him. His his schedule is just awful. We mentioned Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: it earlier with Ladd. And then Bryce Young, look, he did okay. Fifteen points, fourteen and a half points. That's fine. Almost three hundred Amanda: I'm not pissed at it, but also you Drew: yards passing, touchdown. He's fine. I just this is the Bryce Young that you might get. Amanda: Yes. This is the chance you take with Bryce Young. He's not always going to have a great week. And we said like we've used the term like he can catfish us sometimes where he comes out and he looks so good. And then like he does have down weeks and he does struggle and it it just is what it is. So like it's just something you have to expect with Bryce Young. Like he could pull one on you, a quick one on you. Drew: All right, let's get to the running back position. Jadarian Price. Woof. Five carries for 15 yards. Not good. And then you had Emmanuel Wilson also with nine carries for 14 yards. So Seattle just they did not play a good game. Amanda: Mm-mm. Drew: I'm gonna throw the game out as far as like it was a fluke. There was weather, they were it went from west coast to east coast. Washington played well, whatever. I don't know what to do about that backfield with the whole nine carries for Wilson and five for Price. I am I'm worried. Amanda: How many did Helani have? Drew: He felt like he was super involved. Amanda: Yeah, they and 'cause they at first they didn't involve him that much last week and then they involved him way more this week and I was like, What are we doing? Drew: He had three he had three carries and he had five receptions. So he had eight touches. He Amanda: So he's using this check down. Interesting. Drew: was thirty six percent thirty six percent snap share. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Darien price twenty eight percent snap share. Amanda: Ooh. Drew: Emmanuel Wilson thirty six percent snap share. Amanda: Maybe there was just a little like Jadarian Price injury, they were worried. Drew: Well, yeah, the chest injury, so maybe that's a little bit of it. I I think at this point I am full sit on all Seattle running backs until further notice. Thirty si nah, Amanda: Same. I can't trust you can't trust it. Drew: thirty-five percent's not enough. And if it's a true three headed backfield, you can't play any of them because unless one of them scores and you guess right, you're just gonna be disappointed. So I think that's a full sit across the board. Amanda: It's roulette, yeah. Drew: next, Devon Achan. Obviously he got hurt. We talked about that. Amanda: Early. Drew: Breaking news just came out. torn ACL. He is done for the year. Yep, just came out. So Yep, Amanda: Damn, that sucks so bad. Drew: and that was literally why we were on the podcast because we mentioned earlier that we didn't know yet. Well, we I just checked and he is out. So disappointing there. Amanda: Like okay. And that just makes that team even worse. I mean, that sucks, okay. Drew: Yep, Blake Corim finally came back down to earth. two and a half half PPR points, six attempts, four targets with only two receptions. let me check the snap share real quick. So Kyron Williams, 15 carries, six of seven targets. So he had a great game. And Amanda: Mm-hmm. He had a great game. Drew: played 71% of the snaps. You know why he played 71% of the snaps? Because it was a well, they end up well, yes, he is better. Amanda: 'Cause he's better. yeah. And they lost. Drew: But all the all the Korum stands out there that think that he is just as good as Kyron Williams, they're fucking wrong. Kyron Williams is better than Blake Quorum. I will stand Amanda: Agreed. Drew: on business for this. And when the game matters, Kyron Williams will be in the game. So they Amanda: Correct. Drew: they they typically do the every other series split. So Kyron gets the first series, Quorum gets the second series, Kyron third, quorum fourth, right? Then I saw when Quorum, it was during his drive, they had a fourth and one they went for it. Guess who they put in the game? They put Kyron Williams in the game to run a little flat route and catch the ball. And then they put Corm back in. So they trust Williams more. And the snapshare shows me in a game that got really tight in a divisional opponent, or not divisional opponent, but in a in a very tight game that they needed to win, they put Williams in the game and he performed. So Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. Drew: Corum in a game that you think is going to be a tight close matchup, I would probably sit because he's going to end up not playing as much. Caleb Johnson and Marshawn Lloyd. terrible. don't play Green Bay running backs unless Josh Jacobs comes back and Amanda: Terrible, terrible, terrible. Mm-mm. Mm-hmm. Drew: maybe they fix their offensive line, but that team sucks. Amanda: Six. Drew: Tyler Algier, only two carries and four receptions. this is gonna happen from time to time. And to be honest with you, I hope it continues. Give love the ball. Stop playing Algier. Amanda: Yeah, it makes love so much it makes love a no brainer, which we love no brainers, right? Drew: Yep. both Patriots running backs, Henderson and Ramondre, both disappointed, split the backfield 50-50. So Henderson did not take over, and quite frankly, probably didn't deserve to with his output. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Omar and Hampton, five point six half PPR points, did have fifteen rushes and w only one target, which is astonishing that they will not throw him the football. Are you worried Amanda: Yeah. Drew: about this situation now that Keaton Mitchell seems to be more involved and they basically Amanda: And what did he have? Five targets, five receptions, Keaton Mitchell? Drew: yeah, let me look up right here. Keaton Mitchell thr no, he had three targets, but he had he had eight carries. So Omar and Amanda: 'Cause like that was the alarming stat for me. It was three targets. Okay. Eight carries. Drew: Hampton had fifteen touches. Keaton Mitchell had eleven touches. And more disgusting was Keaton Mitchell thirty eight percent snap share. Omar and Hampton forty two percent snap share. Kamani Vidal twenty five percent snap share. So what are we thinking Amanda: Yeah, that's close. Yeah. Drew: with Hampton? Amanda: I mean, we were worried that after the fumble last week that he was gonna get a little bit of a time out situation of like sit down and think about what you just did, be more reliable. god. It's unfortunate. Keaton Mitchell w I mean, he he looked good. He was able to hold down and was competent in his ability. So either yeah, I mean I I'm scared. Drew: Yeah, here's what's what scares me is Keaton Mitchell was six and a half yards a carry and Omarion Hampton was three point seven yards a carry. I'm start I'm starting Amanda: The data don't lie, baby. The data don't lie. Drew: to get worried that Keaton Mitchell is a better scheme fit for the McDaniels offense because of his speed and the fact that they're not throwing the ball to Hampton. And it's starting to worry me that this might become a Amanda: baffling. Mm hmm. Drew: fifty fifty split. And Hampton's value might just tank. Amanda: Correct. Absolutely. Drew: All right. David Montgomery, 5.8 points, not a great outing. Eleven attempts for 33 yards, not great. Bucky Irving got banged up, like we said. Brees Hall also got banged up, like we said. Chase Brown, a little disappointing. About eight points. Didn't crush you, but not great. Jonathan Taylor, again, eight points. 23 attempts, 68 yards is abysmal. Amanda: They couldn't get the run game going at all. Yeah, I was like, whoa. Drew: Yeah. And then Ashton Genty, very involved, just didn't get in the end zone. Not super productive on the ground. Nineteen carries for fifty-six yards. But look, you're gonna have these weeks. And honestly, if you're down week from Genty's ten points, that's not a terrible downweek. Ten points is still usable. So from the wide receiver position, pretty short list this week, which is nice. Tet McMillan Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: just couldn't get anything going. Jalen Coker. Got hurt also, couldn't get anything going. that's just I mean, the Panthers tight ends just took over. Amanda: Mm. Drew: Justin Jefferson got hurt, Malik Neighbors in an an actual absolute downpour. So I'm I don't care about the neighbors down week. And then if you're gonna look at that and go, do we trust Malik Neighbors with Jameis Winston? Don't look at this game at all. It Amanda: You no. Drew: was downpouring. Jalen Waddle thankfully had a bad game. Sorry to everybody that has Jalen Waddle, but I desperately needed that. Amanda: Ha ha ha ha. Drew: Almon Raw, ten points again. He scored a touchdown, eight targets. It's just Lions didn't have a great week and Gibbs just took everything. Amanda: They yeah. Took over. Drew: Yeah. Godwin, four points. I am br I'm done with Godwin if Baker's gone. And st Amanda: Yeah, same. Drew: Stefan Diggs, not a great fantasy week, but he did have seven targets, four for thirty three. just a down week. I'm not too worried about Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: that. I don't think there's any big discussions there. Amanda: No. Drew: You don't think so? All right, tight end position. Dalton Kincaid came back down to earth. Two point eight points. two receptions, thirty eight yards, and one fumble. What do we think about that? Just Amanda: Yeah. Drew: throw it away? Amanda: Throw it away. The fumbles, the turnovers from Josh Allen. I throw it away. I wouldn't worry about it. Drew: Okay, Isaiah Likely, same thing as neighbors, downpour. I'm Amanda: Same thing. Throw it away. Drew: not worried about this week. Tuckercraft, we did already talk about. I think I am a little bit more bullish than you on Tuckercraft. Amanda: I am. I listen, I ha I I'm I've rostered Tucker Kraft somewhere. I'm not gonna I'm gonna hold. I'm not gonna give up on him. I'm gonna stay true to the plot. because like I know how good he can be and the targets are there, he's being used. So I'm gonna hold my breath on it, but I am I'm a touch worried. I I would like to see the offense just look a little bit more competent. I know. It the O line in the running game is just bad. Yeah. And so like Drew: I don't think it can. That offensive line sucks. Yeah. Amanda: that is what makes me the most nervous is like Is Jordan Love ever gonna get time to like make a pass or no? Okay. Yeah. Drew: I don't think they will this year. That offensive line looks like it's bad enough to possibly get LaFleur fired and that's Amanda: Yeah. That's we were talking about. I was like, do they like we always say Green Bay is very similar to the Pittsburgh Steelers. They don't just like fire people. They don't turn over Drew: No. Amanda: staff often. LaFleur's been there forever. But like there cannot be good prospects of him sticking around 'cause it don't look good. Drew: I I yeah, they that offensive line is a problem. The only reason Amanda: Yeah. Drew: I'm still in on the receivers and the tight end is because I think they're gonna have to throw the ball so much. Mm-hmm. Amanda: to keep up. Uhhuh. And their run game blows, like, I don't know. Drew: And frankly, Golden and Watson both look really good right now. Amanda: Really good, I know. All right, well, those are our top performers and unfortunately disappointments of the week. Let's get into a little early waiver wire players to target. Obviously, we have a good amount of them simply due to a lot of injuries happening and just usage issues as well. the top waiver wire target being from a running back position, anyways, in my opinion, does fall to Ollie Gordon. Now that we know that Devon A. Chan is officially out. Ollie Gordon was involved in the offense last year as well. So he's familiar. he's been there before, and he looked productive. 17 carries, 41 rush yards, one r 41 rush yards, one rushing touchdown. Hello. and then three receptions for 14 yards as well. So Ollie Gordon looks competent and I believe would be a great. I mean, obviously you're still dealing with a Miami offense, but a viable startable running back if you are in the depths of despair there. Drew: Yep. I like that one. I think he's gonna be the number one overall waiver this week. Amanda: yes. Drew: And then probably he's definitely the number one running back that I would look for because it's guaranteed playing time. the next two running backs that we have listed, the only other two that we have listed on this early waivers is Braylon Allen with the Jets and Keaton Mitchell with the Chargers. This one is gonna be a little bit more what injury news do we get from Brees Hall. If it Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: looks like he's gonna be out, then I would take Allen because you're gonna get a week of him, but I'm not burning a lot of fab on that if Brees Hall's injury isn't a a major one. and then Keaton Mitchell, the aforementioned Keaton Mitchell, who looks like he's got some juice and I think may jump into that potential streaming flex category. but I don't think either of those two are worth a prior a high priority or a fab dump. because I don't think Amanda: No. Drew: either one of them has a path to long term playing t usage and playing Amanda: Usage. Correct. Drew: time that's like, you know, the season long like like Aldi Gordon does. Amanda: Oli Gordon, yeah, yeah. If you want to waste a waiver wire priority because you waited and you need a writing back, Oli Gordon is the guy because he's going to get the work. Yeah. Drew: Ollie Gordon's the guy. Yep. Amanda: really only tight end to talk about is Kenyan Sadiq. He is the most interesting tight end pickup on the week. Would be a great, yes, streaming tight end option, but also could be considered a startable weekly dude as well. Drew: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Amanda: So if you're gonna take a shot on a tight end, you need one. You're you've been streaming, like I I mentioned before, I'm streaming the tight end position right now, and I have had just like the shittiest shit luck of picking my streaming tight ends. This could be a guy who I could rely on a little bit more long term. So think he's a great pickup. Drew: Absolutely. from a receiver position, we've got five of them listed on here. Keenan Allen, Malik Washington from Miami, Mac Hollins is still on here, Amanda: Na Drew: Trey Harris and Roman Wilson. yeah, it look they're not great options in my opinion. I think Keenan Amanda: I don't want Matt Collins. I don't want Roman Wilson. Drew: I think I Matt Collins is so involved. Amanda: I just don't trust it. I don't know. I just think you're still dealing with a popery where like yes, Mac Collins was involved is involved, but like how long is he gonna be involved for? Is Drake May competent of continuously getting this man the football or not? I just I would Drew: Yeah. Amanda: rather yeah. Drew: Yeah, I th look, I think that the two big ones here are Keenan Allen and Malik Washington. Keenan Allen's going to be involved. Alec Pierce has been hurt and Malik Washington has also been involved with Miami. I'm not Caleb Douglas was hurt. Yeah, he missed time. Amanda: And Caleb Doug Caleb Douglas, right? He's w missed time. Yeah. And that helps. Drew: It does, but Malik Washington has been involved. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: I don't think it's a big fab dump or priority burn for any of them. I I think this is you go get Ollie Gordon if you can. And if you need a tight end, you go get Kenyon Sadiq. And then after that it's like low fab or low waiver priority speculative ads. If you need a t a wide receiver to play, go get Keenan Allen. He plays Washington next week and and I think he'll get you some points. I don't go get Malik Washington because he's playing Minnesota unless I'm looking for a speculative ad. Matt Collins versus Buffalo, decent matchup. Trey Harris plays Seattle, not a good matchup. Roman Wilson caught a touchdown. But if he didn't catch a touchdown, it Amanda: Be sad. Drew: Yeah. So like I think this is Oli Gordon, Kenyon Sadiq, Keenan Allen, and probably check out from waivers this week, unless I find something different in the next day. that's probably all. again, we'll do a little bit more research into the waivers and then you can find those on our Patreon. where we do our full waiver rankings, we'll do our streaming quarterbacks, things like that. So like if you're in need of players, go look at that when we got a little bit more time to look into that. But as of right now, the opinion it's pretty slim pickings on waivers this week. Amanda: It is slim pickings out there. all right. Well, that's all we got for our week three wrap-up. obviously we have Monday night football tonight, so tune in and see what happens there. Who do we have? Chicago and the Philadelphia Eagles. Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: which should be a good matchup if you have the Eagles defense. So who knows? upcoming episode, obviously, we will drop our full sit starts on Thursday. That way you know exactly who to sit and who to start ahead of week four matchups to ensure that you are as optimized as possible. If you're not already, follow us on socials.
