0:36
Speaker 4: I haven't found much success in the United States dating,
0:40
Speaker 4: so I came over to Lisbon and I'm in love
0:42
Speaker 4: with this country.
0:43
Speaker 1: In love, no man, no man yet still no. Oh,
0:47
Speaker 1: you know, there's lots of them.
0:48
Speaker 4: But I'm with my daughter and let me just say,
0:51
Speaker 4: all the eyes are on her. But in course fabulous.
0:55
Speaker 4: It's beautiful, the weather's fabulous, Tomorrow's and beach today.
0:58
Speaker 1: Love, love, love, love this country. What about you, John,
1:01
Speaker 1: what are you up to? Gosh?
1:02
Speaker 3: You know it's a kind of rainy and gross here
1:04
Speaker 3: right now. But getting on a plane same as Susan.
1:07
Speaker 3: Tomorrow We're headed to nap Off for I have fun plants,
1:12
Speaker 3: just for a weekend. It's not like you staying in
1:14
Speaker 3: the United States. But I'm really looking forward to it.
1:17
Speaker 1: John. Do you think we're going to have some good wine? Yeah? Thanks, Susan.
1:21
Speaker 4: Rub it in okay, So I have one more thing
1:23
Speaker 4: to ask a hair By the way, I was supposed
1:26
Speaker 4: to be on that trip, but I did op for Lisbon.
1:28
Speaker 1: Over well, Portugal is Portugal.
1:32
Speaker 4: Let's just say I chose port wine over I chose
1:37
Speaker 4: port Wine over red Lappa. Okay, Susan real quick question here. Yeah,
1:44
Speaker 4: your hair. You know I follow you and your haircuts.
1:47
Speaker 4: What are you doing with your hair?
1:48
Speaker 2: Yes, Kathy, I gave myself a haircut yesterday. You just
1:51
Speaker 2: said it looked long, and I just cut it last night.
1:55
Speaker 3: Your highlights are so cool. I love them. I've never
1:57
Speaker 3: seen you with like highlights up in front like that.
1:59
Speaker 1: Many thanks, I love it. You know, it's funny.
2:01
Speaker 2: I was reading some of the comments from the people
2:03
Speaker 2: you know, and some lady. Most people like it. Some
2:06
Speaker 2: lady goes, I wish you never changed your dark hair.
2:10
Speaker 2: Two toned hair is not in. It doesn't look good
2:13
Speaker 2: on you.
2:14
Speaker 3: Did you look at her picture to see what she
2:15
Speaker 3: looks like?
2:16
Speaker 1: I don't even bother anymore.
2:17
Speaker 4: We got to get into this episode because here's what
2:20
Speaker 4: never changes. Yes, if there is one thing for sure,
2:25
Speaker 4: it's the divorce. Haircuts changed, hair color changes, but divorce
2:31
Speaker 4: never stops.
2:33
Speaker 1: You know you think you have it bad?
2:34
Speaker 4: Ladies, wait till you hear what some of these celebs
2:39
Speaker 4: are going through in their chapter two?
2:41
Speaker 1: Are you ready to get into it?
2:43
Speaker 3: I'm ready and I can talk talking about Jessica Simpsons.
2:46
Speaker 3: Jessica Simpson shares her side of run in with ex
2:49
Speaker 3: husband Nick Lache. Jessica finds setting the record straight irresistible.
2:55
Speaker 3: Don't we all sing your address? Recent claims made by
2:58
Speaker 3: her ex husband Nick Lache, who detailed they're unexpected to
3:01
Speaker 3: run in on a flight to Hawaii and recounted how
3:05
Speaker 3: she sat in first class as her three kids, Maxwell fourteen,
3:09
Speaker 3: Ace twelve, and Birdie seven flew in a separate class
3:12
Speaker 3: of service with their dad, Eric Johnson. My mom bought
3:16
Speaker 3: those tickets, Jessica clarified in a May twenty interview published
3:19
Speaker 3: by Page six. It was my mom's treat for us
3:21
Speaker 3: to go to Hawaii. The forty five year old added,
3:24
Speaker 3: I'm sure she thought that sounded bad that if she
3:26
Speaker 3: had purchased the tickets, her children would of course be
3:29
Speaker 3: seated with her.
3:30
Speaker 1: I think we need to get john Wait, you got
3:32
Speaker 1: to stop right there. Really, any of our.
3:35
Speaker 4: Mothers bought tickets for our kids and myself and my spouse,
3:40
Speaker 4: whatever would they really put our kids, would our mothers
3:44
Speaker 4: if they were alive, in my case, put our kids
3:47
Speaker 4: in steerage and put us in first class.
3:50
Speaker 1: Dear, I love it too, of course not.
3:53
Speaker 3: And the fact that I'm sure she knew she had
3:56
Speaker 3: a different seat. I'm sure she could look at the
3:58
Speaker 3: tickets and say, okay, I'm in like three and they're
4:00
Speaker 3: in twenty sevn y. She could tell that they were
4:03
Speaker 3: in a different class, and she could have changed her ticket.
4:05
Speaker 3: We all know that. So she chose not to. So
4:08
Speaker 3: she's blaming this on her mom.
4:09
Speaker 2: But can I just add one thing, Kathy, wasn't it
4:12
Speaker 2: you that said to me when I was griping about
4:15
Speaker 2: going to Italy next week with my granddaughter and you said,
4:18
Speaker 2: you're not going to sit up in first class if
4:20
Speaker 2: you get upgraded? I said no, because Bella can't, and
4:23
Speaker 2: he said I would, Jessica. I'm gonna call you, Jessica.
4:28
Speaker 4: Wait, there is a difference between buying a ticket and
4:32
Speaker 4: being upgraded.
4:33
Speaker 1: But wait, that is not bad enough.
4:37
Speaker 4: Nick, who was married to Jessica from two thousand and
4:41
Speaker 4: two to two thousand and six, recounted on a May
4:45
Speaker 4: thirteenth episode appearance of Watch What happens live how we
4:49
Speaker 4: crossed paths with Jessica two decades after their divorce. They
4:53
Speaker 4: haven't seen each other in twenty years, and then they
4:56
Speaker 4: spent six and a half hours on a flight to Hawaii, Like,
5:00
Speaker 4: is this somebody's idea of a bad joke.
5:02
Speaker 3: But they weren't together, you know how it isn't a
5:04
Speaker 3: plane if you're not sitting near anybody, you don't even
5:07
Speaker 3: see them. I mean they were on the same airplane.
5:09
Speaker 3: Chances are they didn't see each other other than crossing
5:12
Speaker 3: maybe like when they were waiting to get on the
5:14
Speaker 3: plane and getting off the plane.
5:15
Speaker 4: So yeah, well he does say that everyone was very
5:19
Speaker 4: very cordial, very respectful. You know, first class is small,
5:24
Speaker 4: so I want to know, with Nick in first class
5:27
Speaker 4: with his wife Vanessa, I'm guessing maybe. So I'm guessing
5:31
Speaker 4: maybe it was a little more cozy than what we're thinking.
5:34
Speaker 1: Mm hmm. Moving but alone.
5:37
Speaker 3: They all have good careers that they all could probably
5:39
Speaker 3: afford it. I just didn't sound like they really were
5:42
Speaker 3: because he said on that indycoone interview. But when I
5:45
Speaker 3: say spent like we spent time, you know, on the
5:47
Speaker 3: same flight, he says, in the same vicinity so I
5:50
Speaker 3: don't think that means that they like they He would
5:53
Speaker 3: have said I was in first class too.
5:54
Speaker 1: We all know that this is about Yeah. I think
5:56
Speaker 1: he was being planned.
5:57
Speaker 4: I think they were all in the free drinks section.
6:01
Speaker 1: I don't think they talked. I think they were all hottails.
6:04
Speaker 4: I want to ask both of your questions, Joan, you
6:07
Speaker 4: and I are widows, so Susan, I'm coming at you, baby,
6:11
Speaker 4: if you ran into your acts on the flight, would
6:15
Speaker 4: I know the answer, but just play with me here?
6:18
Speaker 4: Talk to them? Would you try to sit next to them?
6:20
Speaker 4: Would you avoid him?
6:22
Speaker 1: I would definitely talk to them, definitely.
6:25
Speaker 2: I don't know that i'd go out of my way
6:26
Speaker 2: to sit next to him because he talks a lot.
6:31
Speaker 1: Well, you have a.
6:31
Speaker 3: Great relationship with your yes, and we all know that,
6:34
Speaker 3: which is wonderful, great for you, great for your kids.
6:37
Speaker 3: Like kept that family continuity good. You know they didn't
6:42
Speaker 3: Conjessica Simpson and Nikola Chey didn't have kids together, so
6:45
Speaker 3: I think when they split, they really split. There was
6:47
Speaker 3: nothing left. There was no talking clearly for twenty years,
6:51
Speaker 3: so like, who cares if they spoke at this point, like, hey,
6:54
Speaker 3: hope you're doing well. You know, enjoy your time in
6:57
Speaker 3: Hawaii would have been about all I probably would have done.
6:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, especially with your wife next to you and your
7:01
Speaker 2: children and they were all up there.
7:03
Speaker 4: He said it was fine. So you know what, more powered,
7:06
Speaker 4: I hope had a great time in Hawaii. Hope the
7:08
Speaker 4: weather was good.
7:10
Speaker 3: Well, so why it probably was.
7:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure.
7:13
Speaker 2: Moving right along now we have Jason Biggs and wife
7:16
Speaker 2: Jenny Mullin split kepterr eighteen years of marriage. Jason and
7:21
Speaker 2: his wife Jenny after eighteen years. I mean that's a
7:26
Speaker 2: long time. A rep for the couple confirmed to People
7:30
Speaker 2: on Thursday, May fourteenth that Bigs forty eight and Mullin
7:34
Speaker 2: forty six have separated, though they remain on great terms
7:38
Speaker 2: and are focused on co parenting their two sons, Lazio
7:42
Speaker 2: and Sid eight and twelve. A source close to the
7:45
Speaker 2: pair tells People that Mullin and Biggs are doing great
7:49
Speaker 2: and spent BIG's forty eighth birthday together as a family
7:53
Speaker 2: on Tuesday the twelfth. Now, see that's cool. I said,
7:57
Speaker 2: that's cool.
7:58
Speaker 1: We would do that here.
7:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, they're very much connected, the source says of Biggs
8:02
Speaker 2: and Mullin's future as co parents. I have no doubt
8:05
Speaker 2: they will remain on excellent terms. They met on the
8:10
Speaker 2: set of a two thousand and eight movie, My Best
8:13
Speaker 2: Friend's Girl. The pair were engaged in January two thousand
8:17
Speaker 2: and eight and eloped in a private ceremony that April.
8:21
Speaker 2: In July of that year, they exchanged valves for a
8:24
Speaker 2: second time at a ceremony in Napa, California that featured
8:29
Speaker 2: about forty guests in attendance, As people reported at the time.
8:33
Speaker 1: Okay, Susan Wade, I have a question for both.
8:36
Speaker 4: I know it's eighteen years later, but if you elope
8:41
Speaker 4: and then you have a private ceremony, I don't know,
8:44
Speaker 4: doesn't it kind of feel like I don't know. I
8:47
Speaker 4: got it was eighteen years later, but I just want
8:49
Speaker 4: I wanted that to work out. I did.
8:53
Speaker 1: Well.
8:54
Speaker 3: You know what the history of kind of Hollywood marriages
8:58
Speaker 3: is they are pretty sure, you know, five six, maybe
9:01
Speaker 3: ten years, eighteen years, you're starting to get invested like
9:04
Speaker 3: this is one of the good ones. They're going to
9:05
Speaker 3: stay together, and then they springing on us that they're not.
9:08
Speaker 3: And I feel that one. It also has to you know,
9:10
Speaker 3: has kids involved.
9:11
Speaker 2: You know that they have, and they say here that
9:14
Speaker 2: they kept their life together relatively private and helps tend
9:19
Speaker 2: to keep their sons out of the public eye, so
9:21
Speaker 2: they didn't app that.
9:23
Speaker 4: Yes, absolutely, I think that's but I don't know. So
9:27
Speaker 4: here's I mean, Joan, you and I were married. I
9:30
Speaker 4: was married the longest of I mean, other than methusel
9:33
Speaker 4: I've been married the longest of anybody. Joan, you were
9:36
Speaker 4: married a long time, Susan. Actually, you know you were
9:38
Speaker 4: married a long time.
9:39
Speaker 1: Yes.
9:41
Speaker 4: People ask me this all the time. Do you think
9:44
Speaker 4: you should have to renew year marriage fast? Would you
9:46
Speaker 4: have done that?
9:47
Speaker 1: Joan? Would you have done that?
9:49
Speaker 2: It's not necessary, but some people love to celebrate that
9:52
Speaker 2: they're still in love, because I do that for a living.
9:55
Speaker 1: So don't damn it. I just would do Would you
9:58
Speaker 1: do it, Susan, I wouldn't.
10:01
Speaker 2: If I had somebody maybe No, no, no, if I
10:05
Speaker 2: was still in love after two no, no, No.
10:07
Speaker 4: It's not vows, Honeybunny. It's renewing your marriage.
10:11
Speaker 1: It's not. It's not a declaration. It is Kathy, it's legal,
10:15
Speaker 1: and it is.
10:17
Speaker 4: What I'm saying, Susan is and John, do you think
10:20
Speaker 4: renewing your marriage like we go and renew our driver's license.
10:24
Speaker 1: What every five six, sex years, four years, whatever. Well
10:27
Speaker 1: it's different in every state.
10:28
Speaker 4: But do you think you should have to renew your
10:31
Speaker 4: marriage because I will tell you I dated a guy,
10:34
Speaker 4: uh for not that long, but he had lived with
10:38
Speaker 4: a woman and he said that every six months they
10:41
Speaker 4: sat down and decided whether they wanted to recommit now
10:45
Speaker 4: they weren't married.
10:46
Speaker 1: But would you ever do that?
10:47
Speaker 3: It's a big difference. I feel like I think you
10:49
Speaker 3: opened up a whole can of worms because we're no
10:52
Speaker 3: or what the answer is? Maybe like how it's not
10:54
Speaker 3: like going to the DMV and say I'm going to
10:57
Speaker 3: continue to drive. I'm going to continue to not drive,
10:59
Speaker 3: to continue to drive. There's the only application is on you.
11:01
Speaker 3: You're not going to drive anymore when you say we're
11:04
Speaker 3: not going to be a couple anymore than the answers
11:06
Speaker 3: and you have to get divorced. And so that's like
11:08
Speaker 3: a whole big thing. I don't think that it's really feasible.
11:11
Speaker 3: I don't think it's so bad to check in on
11:14
Speaker 3: your marriage, you know, every few months, every few years.
11:17
Speaker 3: I have a friend who he is a divorce attorney
11:21
Speaker 3: and she is a couple's counselor, and they are married
11:24
Speaker 3: and they have the greatest marriage. They have such a
11:26
Speaker 3: weird like dichotomy of what they do and they are
11:30
Speaker 3: so good at staying Mary because they do that, like
11:32
Speaker 3: that's something that is in their like you know, monthly
11:36
Speaker 3: check in. They sit down and go to dinner and
11:37
Speaker 3: they talk about what's working, what isn't.
11:39
Speaker 2: So that's it's like being in therapy. Right, It's like
11:42
Speaker 2: being in therapy. You talk, you communicate.
11:45
Speaker 4: Joe brings up a good point. Joe, a great point,
11:48
Speaker 4: because think about it. You go out to dinner to
11:51
Speaker 4: have your conversation about renewing your.
11:54
Speaker 1: Marriage, not in your vows, like do we want before?
11:58
Speaker 1: So how are we? What page are we on? Yeah?
12:01
Speaker 1: He says no, you know what I'm going to say?
12:04
Speaker 4: Okay, fine, I want the house in the Hamptons and
12:07
Speaker 4: five percent of the checking accounting savings and your retirement.
12:10
Speaker 3: Well yeah, and what do we do with our kids?
12:12
Speaker 3: Like I mean, then that opens that whole thing if
12:14
Speaker 3: you have kids of who you know, custody and stuff
12:16
Speaker 3: like that. So I certainly don't think it's a good idea.
12:18
Speaker 3: I get the point of checking in on your marriage.
12:21
Speaker 3: I just don't think it should be like a legal thing.
12:24
Speaker 1: Right right.
12:25
Speaker 2: I think it's a good idea. I do, I actually do.
12:27
Speaker 2: Well wait do you hear this? So recently, she shared
12:31
Speaker 2: a photo of herself and Bigs on Instagram. A totally
12:35
Speaker 2: approachable couple, not trying to seduce you, she wrote in
12:39
Speaker 2: a caption, how cute.
12:41
Speaker 3: Okay, they are a cute couple.
12:43
Speaker 4: I mean they were, and you know what, they're going
12:45
Speaker 4: to go on as because as you pointed out, John,
12:48
Speaker 4: they're gonna go on in Hollywood. They're going to find
12:50
Speaker 4: their next one. And you know, two years from now
12:52
Speaker 4: will either be saying congrats on the marriage.
12:55
Speaker 1: Or they moved on again.
12:57
Speaker 2: It wasn't too long ago that we were. We did
12:59
Speaker 2: a pod cast on the celebrations of divorce. Right, they
13:03
Speaker 2: got a ring, they had a cake, they had a party,
13:05
Speaker 2: a divorce party.
13:07
Speaker 4: You know, whatever works, is what I say.
13:19
Speaker 1: Okay, we got to move on.
13:21
Speaker 4: Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa and her ex boyfriend
13:27
Speaker 4: Jody Gliddon's they got their spying charges dropped. Lisa and
13:33
Speaker 4: her ex boyfriend Jody are no longer facing criminal charges.
13:38
Speaker 1: They were each arrested in April. Are you ready for this?
13:42
Speaker 4: On one felony charge of interception of wire, oral or
13:47
Speaker 4: electronic communications after allegedly placing.
13:51
Speaker 1: A recording device in her ex husband's Lenny's car.
13:57
Speaker 4: Amid their divorce proceedings in twenty twenty three. I'm just
14:00
Speaker 4: going to say to you, I had to read this like,
14:02
Speaker 4: hold on, there's too many people, So it gets worse.
14:07
Speaker 4: They reached an agreement with the prosecution and the charges
14:11
Speaker 4: will be dismissed mid June without any admission of guilt
14:15
Speaker 4: or conviction. You got to love our legal system, Okay.
14:18
Speaker 4: So that all just happened on Tuesday, May nineteenth, which
14:22
Speaker 4: by the way, would have been my fifty third wedding anniversary.
14:26
Speaker 4: So people reached out to Winetraub for a comment and
14:32
Speaker 4: they both Lisa and Glyndon were accepted into the Advocacy
14:38
Speaker 4: Program's Felony Trial Diversion program. This was according to court
14:43
Speaker 4: documents obtained by People. The private, not for profit Justice
14:48
Speaker 4: agency offers court ordered individuals the ability to have their
14:52
Speaker 4: arrest record are we ready sealed and or expuse and
14:58
Speaker 4: have the charges dropped by the State Attorney's office if
15:01
Speaker 4: they remain and I'm quoting arrest free. This is all
15:06
Speaker 4: according to the agency site. Will somebody please tell me? Wait, wait,
15:11
Speaker 4: I have a question. Now, both of them were arrested.
15:14
Speaker 4: So they were doing it.
15:16
Speaker 3: Yep, well they were doing it together. They were together
15:19
Speaker 3: doing it. But I mean the crazy thing is he
15:21
Speaker 3: allowed her to borrow his car. The article says, yeah,
15:26
Speaker 3: person allowed her to borrow his Mercedes Mercedes been GLS
15:30
Speaker 3: six hundred Maybach.
15:32
Speaker 1: Yes.
15:33
Speaker 3: He discovers a few days later that there is this
15:36
Speaker 3: weird thing underneath his seat and he pulls it out
15:39
Speaker 3: and he sees it, his tape all over it, and
15:42
Speaker 3: it is a recording device. Now who else could it be?
15:45
Speaker 1: We back up for a minute.
15:46
Speaker 4: I've never been divorced, but I'm going to say that
15:49
Speaker 4: is a pricey car, and I'm divorced from somebody, and
15:53
Speaker 4: I got my ex. You know, it's so many players
15:56
Speaker 4: in this, in this cast of characters. Hey, honey, can
15:59
Speaker 4: if I borrow your really expensive card because I'm thinking about.
16:04
Speaker 1: Buying one for myself. Sure we're divorced, go for it.
16:08
Speaker 3: I mean really, because she couldn't have gone to a
16:11
Speaker 3: Mercedes dealership and gotten one.
16:14
Speaker 1: What was she trying to learn though? I mean, what
16:17
Speaker 1: was she trying to hear?
16:19
Speaker 3: Well, I mean, he doesn't ever talk about what that
16:21
Speaker 3: is like that she's trying to hear. But I'm sure
16:24
Speaker 3: that there was contention between them because you're getting divorced.
16:27
Speaker 3: He has a new girlfriend, she has a new boyfriend.
16:30
Speaker 4: Okay, so Lenny, smart guy. When he finds the device,
16:35
Speaker 4: he alerts his lawyer. They hire experts who sorry, who
16:40
Speaker 4: recovered several recordings from the device, and the warrant claims,
16:44
Speaker 4: adding that quote, one of the last recordings from before
16:48
Speaker 4: the vehicle was returned to the victim, depicts Lisa and
16:52
Speaker 4: Glyndon holding a discussion and the distinct sound of a
16:56
Speaker 4: device such as the hidden recorder, being wrestled in place,
17:00
Speaker 4: and then the device later captured the former couple speaking
17:04
Speaker 4: about their kids, his plastic surgery practice, finances, and a
17:08
Speaker 4: construction project. All this, again is according to the artist warrant.
17:12
Speaker 4: I'm wondering if they discussed dental appointments.
17:15
Speaker 3: You know, no, what they did way worse because listen
17:17
Speaker 3: to this. It says detectives allegedly recovered deleted materilla from
17:23
Speaker 3: the device, including a tape of Lisa and Glidden engage
17:26
Speaker 3: in intimate activities and other conversations between them, which so
17:32
Speaker 3: first of all, like that is all nuts. They had
17:35
Speaker 3: all these discussions knowing that the device was recording. Obviously,
17:39
Speaker 3: I guess they thought it's never going to give you know,
17:41
Speaker 3: found It'll only be us hearing these these things.
17:44
Speaker 4: No, no, no, Joan, Well you had me until the
17:48
Speaker 4: last bit. Why would you engage think about this. You've
17:53
Speaker 4: now returned the car to your ex husband, who has
17:56
Speaker 4: filed for divorce in May of twenty twenty two, now
18:00
Speaker 4: returned the car. You have engaged in these acts, said
18:04
Speaker 4: these things, and you've given the car back with the
18:08
Speaker 4: recording device intact?
18:09
Speaker 1: Does that make any of.
18:11
Speaker 3: You were confident that they had done such a good
18:13
Speaker 3: job being spies that they would never be caught. Yet
18:15
Speaker 3: they were terrible spies. Is never caught really fast?
18:19
Speaker 1: Stupid criminals are always caught. Wait.
18:23
Speaker 2: It says that she bought him from Amazon three months prior,
18:26
Speaker 2: but she bought two of the exact same models, So
18:30
Speaker 2: maybe she put the wrong one in his cost.
18:33
Speaker 3: But why would you be recording yourself?
18:35
Speaker 1: Like I know, I don't exactly. Okay, here's the last thing.
18:38
Speaker 4: Though, they had it says amid their divorce battle, So
18:42
Speaker 4: this was not a copathetic divorce clearly, but you know,
18:45
Speaker 4: let's lend you the car. Anyway, they were involved in
18:49
Speaker 4: and contentious proceedings. Lisa alleged she was being financially strangled
18:57
Speaker 4: by Lenny. So you know what, if I'm being financially
18:59
Speaker 4: strangled by God, I'm going to ask you if I
19:01
Speaker 4: can borrow your car.
19:02
Speaker 1: I mean, none of this makes sense.
19:04
Speaker 4: And then his then girlfriend Katerina Matzappa I can't even
19:08
Speaker 4: say her last name, Mazeppa, also filed a restraining order
19:12
Speaker 4: against Lisa, although that was later dismissed.
19:15
Speaker 1: You know what we call this in the home country,
19:17
Speaker 1: a michig gos what Well.
19:21
Speaker 3: The thing that shocks me the most is it sounds
19:22
Speaker 3: like there is so much evidence against them. They have
19:25
Speaker 3: her buying the devices, They have them talking in the
19:28
Speaker 3: car where the device is hand and it sounds like
19:30
Speaker 3: they are handling the device trying to tape it up
19:32
Speaker 3: under the like they have all of this sales. They
19:34
Speaker 3: have sounds of them like doing intemn So they have
19:40
Speaker 3: them on the device, they had them in the car,
19:42
Speaker 3: they had her purchasing device. Why did they drop these charges?
19:47
Speaker 1: I don't know. But here's here's one other question I have.
19:50
Speaker 4: Lenny was ordered to pay Lisa fifteen thousand dollars per
19:54
Speaker 4: month in child support.
19:56
Speaker 1: And that's how she's financially being strangled. Right.
19:59
Speaker 4: Wait, so that's number one, Susan. Number two, Could she
20:02
Speaker 4: not have afforded a better recording device.
20:07
Speaker 3: Hired somebody to install it?
20:09
Speaker 1: And moving right along on?
20:12
Speaker 3: Moving on?
20:13
Speaker 1: How about this?
20:14
Speaker 3: Mandy Moore makes rare comment about ex Ryan Adams claims
20:18
Speaker 3: he didn't ask her dad for a blessing to propose.
20:22
Speaker 3: I don't know what you guys think about this. Let
20:23
Speaker 3: me read this a little bit and then let's talk
20:24
Speaker 3: about it. Danny Moore is recalling the moment her husband,
20:27
Speaker 3: Taylor Goldsmith, asked for her dad's hand in marriage. That's
20:32
Speaker 3: not really what happened. Asked for her hand in marriage
20:34
Speaker 3: from her dad, which is allegedly something her first husband,
20:37
Speaker 3: Right Adams didn't do. He was touched, Mandy recalled after
20:41
Speaker 3: the Tuesday May nineteenth episode of What Was Us podcast
20:45
Speaker 3: of her dad's reaction. I had been betrothed before, but
20:49
Speaker 3: that person did not ask my father, So I think
20:51
Speaker 3: my dad was very touched that it was done in
20:53
Speaker 3: the traditional way. My dad appreciates that. But listen to
20:56
Speaker 3: her dad she continued, but I believe he's also super
20:58
Speaker 3: awkward and was like, oh my gosh, you don't have
21:01
Speaker 3: to ask someone for my permission, has Taylor recounted it
21:04
Speaker 3: to me. Mandy and Ryan Adams began dating in two
21:07
Speaker 3: thousand and seven and tied the knot two years later.
21:09
Speaker 3: After nearly six years of marriage, the pair called it
21:11
Speaker 3: quits in twenty fifteen. Mandy and Ryan's divorce was finalized
21:15
Speaker 3: in twenty sixteen. So later she becomes engaged with somebody else.
21:17
Speaker 3: What do you guys think about that whole thing about
21:20
Speaker 3: asking your father for or asking her father for the
21:23
Speaker 3: hand in marriage.
21:24
Speaker 1: It's all about the man. It's up to him. You know.
21:27
Speaker 2: Some men really appreciate that and they think that's necessary,
21:31
Speaker 2: and I admire it, but it doesn't matter.
21:33
Speaker 1: You know, wait a second, I think it depends on
21:36
Speaker 1: the age.
21:37
Speaker 4: I'm just going to say, if you have a forty
21:40
Speaker 4: year old daughter or a you know, I think that's
21:43
Speaker 4: ridiculous young for Mandy Moore at the time. You know,
21:47
Speaker 4: she's in her late thirties. I think now, so she
21:50
Speaker 4: was in her early to mid twenties. I think it's appropriate.
21:54
Speaker 4: I think it's as you said, Susan, it's kind chivalrous,
21:57
Speaker 4: it's night.
21:58
Speaker 1: But it's not that I wouldn't marry a guy who
22:02
Speaker 1: did did Miss Daddy.
22:03
Speaker 3: That's how I feel about it. And I ask you.
22:05
Speaker 3: Both my sons did ask their soon to be father
22:09
Speaker 3: in laws or their their father and now their father
22:11
Speaker 3: in laws to marry their daughter. And both of my
22:14
Speaker 3: son in laws asked John and I so say, like,
22:18
Speaker 3: I think my kids ended up with really traditional cousins
22:20
Speaker 3: and wives.
22:21
Speaker 4: Can I just can I just tell you my husband
22:23
Speaker 4: did ask my parents, but I was just.
22:26
Speaker 1: Barely out of the credit when I got married.
22:28
Speaker 4: But I have to tell you I can always I
22:31
Speaker 4: try to do this about crying my daughter who has
22:34
Speaker 4: been married since for like four years. But my husband
22:38
Speaker 4: took his life right like right before he was going
22:42
Speaker 4: to ask his permission to get married. And so we
22:46
Speaker 4: were playing golf, my now son in law, my son
22:50
Speaker 4: and I and at the end of the golf round,
22:53
Speaker 4: he said, I have something I want to ask you guys,
22:55
Speaker 4: and he asked our permission to marry my daughter. And
22:59
Speaker 4: I got to tell you, I thought that was very sweet.
23:01
Speaker 4: I think good manners and chivalry never goes out of style.
23:05
Speaker 3: Yeah, my son in law, the one that married my
23:07
Speaker 3: daughter Erica. John was really really sick, like he was. Yeah,
23:12
Speaker 3: he died just a few months after that, but did
23:14
Speaker 3: make sure, like wanted to ask him before he died,
23:16
Speaker 3: like you could sit that he was kind of on
23:17
Speaker 3: the wall.
23:18
Speaker 1: And that's something you know your daughter will never forget.
23:21
Speaker 2: Let me ask you girls something. This is what we
23:24
Speaker 2: just read here and talked about. Was she Mandy griping
23:27
Speaker 2: that the first husband didn't do it, or just matter
23:30
Speaker 2: of factly saying that the new husband did but the
23:34
Speaker 2: old husband didn't.
23:35
Speaker 1: As that all that was. I feel like that.
23:37
Speaker 3: Since she's even talking about it, certainly like you know,
23:40
Speaker 3: stuck in her brain a little bit. Yeah, comes to
23:42
Speaker 3: me and.
23:43
Speaker 4: She says, see what her dad was touched. I think
23:45
Speaker 4: she's just acknowledging. She is acknowledging that it was the
23:49
Speaker 4: sweet thing, a sweet gesture for him to do. And
23:53
Speaker 4: you know what, I love Mandy Moore. So if she's happy,
23:56
Speaker 4: I'm happy.
23:57
Speaker 3: Kind of at the end of this article, they say.
23:59
Speaker 3: Two years later, Mandy began speaking out about her relationship
24:02
Speaker 3: with her ex husband, and in twenty nineteen, The New
24:05
Speaker 3: York Times published a profile in which seven women, including
24:09
Speaker 3: Mandy came forward to share misconduct allegations against Ryan.
24:14
Speaker 4: Yeah, that doesn't have anything to do that's just you know,
24:17
Speaker 4: I hear you.
24:18
Speaker 1: But that doesn't everything to do with asking permission. Okay,
24:31
Speaker 1: let's talk about the Grammar here. Oh.
24:33
Speaker 2: Camille Grammar reveals the very harsh text ex husband Kelsey
24:39
Speaker 2: Grammer sent her after their split. Camille is opening up
24:44
Speaker 2: about the aftermath of her split from ex husband Kelsey
24:47
Speaker 2: Grammar on my eighteenth episode of Cynthia Bailey and Crystal
24:51
Speaker 2: Kong miccoff Humbles Brag podcast. Camille fifty seven shared that
24:57
Speaker 2: she hasn't spoken to Kelsey seventy one in fourteen years.
25:02
Speaker 2: The exes wed in nineteen ninety seven and split in
25:05
Speaker 2: twenty ten after Kelsey admitted to having an affair with
25:10
Speaker 2: flight attendant Katie Walsh, whom he later married. And when
25:16
Speaker 2: you ask me about the I'm sorry or the remorse
25:20
Speaker 2: he said to me, he sent me a text saying
25:23
Speaker 2: I feel no remorse for what I'm doing, Camille revealed.
25:27
Speaker 2: And that was very harsh because I was very much
25:30
Speaker 2: in love with him, and I believed he was very
25:32
Speaker 2: much in love with me.
25:34
Speaker 3: That's crazy. She had no idea.
25:36
Speaker 4: Well, hold on, Johan, I got to be the bearer
25:38
Speaker 4: of bad news here. It's as badly as I feel
25:42
Speaker 4: for anybody that that happens. So because you're right, it
25:45
Speaker 4: comes from nowhere, Joan. And you've got kids, and we
25:47
Speaker 4: all care about our children. I have to say, this
25:51
Speaker 4: is not a rare event, not just in Hollywood but
25:55
Speaker 4: in life.
25:57
Speaker 1: Right, do you agree with me? It happens all the
25:59
Speaker 1: time time.
26:00
Speaker 2: Most men will try to lie the way out of it.
26:02
Speaker 2: But he's saying, I feel no remorse for what I'm doing,
26:05
Speaker 2: meaning having the affair.
26:06
Speaker 1: Yeah.
26:07
Speaker 3: I happen to have watched this season of Real Housewives
26:10
Speaker 3: of every Hills. I don't watch all the Real Housewives.
26:12
Speaker 3: I happen to watch this particular season, and I remember
26:16
Speaker 3: Camille and a bunch of the other housewives are going
26:19
Speaker 3: to New York to see Kelsey Grammer in a Broadway play,
26:22
Speaker 3: and they all kind of arrive and she's so proud
26:25
Speaker 3: of him, and she's talking about her wonderful, like talented husband,
26:28
Speaker 3: and they are also excited to be going to see him,
26:32
Speaker 3: and he barely gave them the time of day, any
26:35
Speaker 3: of them, and was downright rude to her and dismissive. Yeah,
26:40
Speaker 3: one or two minutes that he even saw her venue.
26:43
Speaker 4: You want to know why he doesn't have time. He's
26:47
Speaker 4: on his fourth marriage.
26:49
Speaker 1: He doesn't have time.
26:50
Speaker 4: This is a man, in my opinion, who acts first
26:55
Speaker 4: and doesn't think later.
26:57
Speaker 3: You know, I think he's a narcissist.
26:58
Speaker 1: I mean whatever he is.
27:00
Speaker 4: Yes, he doesn't take the in my opinion, he does
27:03
Speaker 4: not take marriage as a commitment. He takes it as
27:07
Speaker 4: this worked for me today. Yes, if it doesn't work out,
27:10
Speaker 4: see you later. By don't care.
27:12
Speaker 1: I'm moving on.
27:13
Speaker 2: And she's honest about saying she was broken, and she
27:18
Speaker 2: broke when the show was airing because it was getting
27:21
Speaker 2: She was getting it from all sides, as you said, Jones.
27:25
Speaker 2: She was part of the original cast of the Real
27:27
Speaker 2: Housewives of Beverly Hills. Her split from Kelsey was documented
27:31
Speaker 2: on the Bravo show. I don't feel like I was
27:33
Speaker 2: getting a break, she says, because the show that fans
27:37
Speaker 2: the audience then bigger than that. It's Kelsey's people, his
27:42
Speaker 2: machine behind him to protect his image that were on
27:46
Speaker 2: full force. She remembers calling him and saying, get your
27:50
Speaker 2: dogs off me, Get your bulldogs off me, because I
27:53
Speaker 2: don't want to keep reading this horrible stuff that you're
27:56
Speaker 2: putting out there with your posy for your posse, to
28:01
Speaker 2: protect your image. She added, Can you imagine when everybody
28:05
Speaker 2: and maybe he didn't even say everything, you know how
28:08
Speaker 2: that goes on social media?
28:11
Speaker 3: Right?
28:11
Speaker 1: Yes, but hold on, I.
28:14
Speaker 4: And again, you know Kathy can be harsh sometimes, but
28:17
Speaker 4: I think I'm real these are people in the public eye.
28:22
Speaker 1: Yes, yes, So when you sign.
28:24
Speaker 4: Up to be on the Real Housewives, you're signing up.
28:29
Speaker 4: We have seen it with the current you know, the
28:32
Speaker 4: current season of The Bachelor that isn't being shown as
28:35
Speaker 4: of now. This is something you sign up for. And
28:39
Speaker 4: while I feel badly for her, let me repeat, He's
28:42
Speaker 4: on his fourth marriage, she's a reality TV star and
28:47
Speaker 4: this happens.
28:49
Speaker 1: Yeah, well she failed it though.
28:51
Speaker 2: She said she kept getting kicked from every angle, she
28:53
Speaker 2: couldn't come up for air. She was even suicidal, it
28:57
Speaker 2: says she said. It felt like being thrown in the
29:00
Speaker 2: middle of the ocean without a life, ramped and drowning.
29:03
Speaker 3: I usually think that housewives, like all these housewives, like
29:07
Speaker 3: their marriages are really fragile while they're being filmed, because
29:11
Speaker 3: I feel like production finds any little thread that they
29:14
Speaker 3: can start pulling on and hoping that things will unravel.
29:17
Speaker 3: So they have drama, and I don't know if that's
29:20
Speaker 3: like part of their story. I watched the season. I
29:24
Speaker 3: remember rarely seeing Kelsey Grammar as part of it, Like
29:27
Speaker 3: he was too good to be part of a Real Housewives,
29:29
Speaker 3: so he was really rarely in it. So I'm thinking,
29:32
Speaker 3: may be things unraveled because of the show, and.
29:35
Speaker 2: She's letting public people get the best of her. She
29:39
Speaker 2: went into a really dark place. She was so upset,
29:42
Speaker 2: and she never would commit suicide, obviously, but she felt like,
29:47
Speaker 2: how do I get out of this because I wasn't
29:50
Speaker 2: getting any help. How would you expect to get help?
29:53
Speaker 2: Erase it? You can't get help, you just move on
29:56
Speaker 2: and be a better person. So Dan proud and speak
29:58
Speaker 2: your piece and move on, right, Okay, So.
30:01
Speaker 4: Before we move on, I got to be honest personally.
30:05
Speaker 4: I have an issue with this because someone who says
30:09
Speaker 4: I was so dark, I was like almost suicidal, but
30:13
Speaker 4: not quite because I would never commit suicide.
30:16
Speaker 1: It's died by suicide.
30:18
Speaker 4: You don't put those as somebody who is a survivor
30:21
Speaker 4: of a spouse who died by suicide.
30:23
Speaker 1: I read that.
30:24
Speaker 2: I was like, she's saying that, so that's how she felt, Like, yeah,
30:29
Speaker 2: I understand it imagining you know.
30:31
Speaker 4: Yeah again, I'm I'm not quite as friendly on this
30:35
Speaker 4: one because when you're on a public when you're a
30:38
Speaker 4: public figure, you're signing up for this, and you sent
30:41
Speaker 4: up for the good, the bad, and the u of.
30:44
Speaker 2: Kathy when when you said zip it in the world
30:46
Speaker 2: attacked you for the first three months after the show,
30:50
Speaker 2: I mean you had to survive it, right.
30:52
Speaker 4: Yeah, And I assure you I was not even thinking
30:56
Speaker 4: about suicide.
30:57
Speaker 1: Of course, let's move on because now we Okay. Love
31:01
Speaker 1: is blind.
31:03
Speaker 4: Chelsea Griffin and Quame they break up after four years
31:07
Speaker 4: of marriage. They announced their ending their marriage only after
31:11
Speaker 4: four years. And this is a quote. Last week would
31:15
Speaker 4: have marked our fourth wedding anniversary, Griffin wrote in a
31:18
Speaker 4: statement in a joint Instagram post on Thursday, May fifteenth. Quote,
31:23
Speaker 4: out of respect for the life we shared, I wanted
31:25
Speaker 4: to address this moment directly with the community that has
31:29
Speaker 4: supported us over the years. It's heartbreaking to share that
31:33
Speaker 4: our marriage is coming to an end.
31:35
Speaker 1: Chelsea continued.
31:37
Speaker 4: This is not the outcome I hoped for, she said,
31:40
Speaker 4: and I entered this relationship with deep love, commitment, and
31:43
Speaker 4: the intention of building the lasting life together.
31:46
Speaker 1: Don't we all? Don't we all? Though? Don't we all?
31:48
Speaker 1: That's how we get in, that's you know, happened.
31:51
Speaker 4: She also She also added that she poured her whole
31:55
Speaker 4: heart into the marriage. It eventually became clear that they
31:59
Speaker 4: were growing in differ directions. My mantra going forward is
32:02
Speaker 4: that I am strong, I am resilient, and there is
32:05
Speaker 4: still so much ahead of me, Griffin wrote. She also added,
32:09
Speaker 4: while this chapter is deeply painful, I trust that healing
32:13
Speaker 4: and clarity will come with me. So Huame shared his
32:17
Speaker 4: own message in a separate slide, revealing the pair has
32:20
Speaker 4: reached the difficult decision after realizing their ultimate life goals.
32:25
Speaker 4: Don't feel aligned. I don't know what do you guys think.
32:29
Speaker 2: I think it's nice that they both put it out
32:31
Speaker 2: there that they tried and they couldn't do it, but
32:33
Speaker 2: they want the public to know that's all.
32:35
Speaker 3: But they're putting like when they should. They tried it
32:38
Speaker 3: for four years. That seems like a reasonable amount of time.
32:40
Speaker 3: They don't have children. It seems like it's an amical
32:42
Speaker 3: divorce and they're ready to move on, and I bet
32:44
Speaker 3: both of them will find somebody and be very very happy.
32:47
Speaker 3: This is a learning, you know, a learning part of
32:49
Speaker 3: their journey.
32:50
Speaker 2: But they're both being respectful of each other and saying
32:52
Speaker 2: they both tried.
32:53
Speaker 1: I don't think there's anything wrong with it. It's beautiful.
32:56
Speaker 4: I don't either, But I want y'all to remember that
32:59
Speaker 4: these two met on love is blind, and that's not
33:03
Speaker 4: like meeting on a blind date that your set you
33:05
Speaker 4: up when they're going out with your next door neighbor.
33:08
Speaker 4: This is a couple that didn't see each other. We
33:11
Speaker 4: all know the premise of love is blind. You don't
33:13
Speaker 4: see the person until until you know intergregation commitment. And
33:20
Speaker 4: so I think I'm actually impressed that they made it
33:25
Speaker 4: four years because to me, if you have not met
33:29
Speaker 4: the person only through what you see behind the screen,
33:32
Speaker 4: and you made it four years, I actually believe them
33:36
Speaker 4: that they really an old college right, and I love
33:40
Speaker 4: like you guys said, they came together to make the announcement.
33:43
Speaker 2: I think it was very full of class. They were
33:46
Speaker 2: really you think love is blind?
33:47
Speaker 1: Do you think that premise works for dating someone?
33:50
Speaker 3: I would love to know what their success rate is, Yeah,
33:55
Speaker 3: because I feel like it's a very I think it's
33:57
Speaker 3: a really hard premise. Like I think that there is
34:00
Speaker 3: something to seeing a person. I think I have a chemistry
34:04
Speaker 3: and you don't just get it from talking to them.
34:06
Speaker 1: It's the whole package. Yes, it's the feeling. Yes, you're
34:09
Speaker 1: exactly right. You're exactly right.
34:11
Speaker 4: I agree with you, John, I do. But do you
34:13
Speaker 4: know that Kwame's mother had an issue with them getting married?
34:17
Speaker 1: Yeah?
34:17
Speaker 3: I knew that.
34:18
Speaker 4: They go into that, You go into it with that
34:21
Speaker 4: right there, that's you know, that's an uphill battle right there.
34:24
Speaker 3: When a lot of mothers have issues with their and
34:27
Speaker 3: the girls, they never think they're good enough. So I'm
34:29
Speaker 3: not sure if I was going to give a lot
34:31
Speaker 3: of a lot of weight to like kind of what
34:33
Speaker 3: she thinks. But I do really feel like they I mean,
34:35
Speaker 3: four years, they gave it a hell of a try,
34:37
Speaker 3: so you're proud to try. They tried.
34:42
Speaker 1: Listen, I go on Love is Would you guys go
34:44
Speaker 1: on Love Is Blind? Would you do it?
34:46
Speaker 3: I wouldn't do it.
34:47
Speaker 1: I don't know that I couldn't do it. No.
34:50
Speaker 3: I mean, although it's a super popular show, they're I
34:52
Speaker 3: have been problem finding it, finding people to participate in it,
34:55
Speaker 3: but you know it wouldn't be for me. I don't think, okay.
34:58
Speaker 3: I also think it's kind of too final. They really
35:00
Speaker 3: do get married at the end, So I feel like
35:02
Speaker 3: you need I feel like you really need some time,
35:03
Speaker 3: even after being on show, to get to know each
35:06
Speaker 3: other better. I don't I can't imagine break from the
35:08
Speaker 3: show to marriage.
35:08
Speaker 1: That's I think what you got here. Last one season,
35:11
Speaker 1: one more Love is Blind, one last Love is Blind.
35:14
Speaker 3: It's Love is Blind's Alexa Lomo speaks in breaks silence
35:19
Speaker 3: a reason for Brennan lamo divorce Love is Blind. Alexi
35:22
Speaker 3: Lamo is ready to open up about her decision to
35:25
Speaker 3: get a divorce from a strange husband, Brennan after four
35:28
Speaker 3: years of marriage. Another four year marriage from Love is Blind.
35:31
Speaker 3: Maybe that's a statistic we should be talking about. I
35:34
Speaker 3: had asked for it, Alexa thirty one shared in US
35:36
Speaker 3: Weekly's exclusive sneak peek of the Thursday, May twenty first
35:39
Speaker 3: episode of the He Said, Gee Said Podcast. It wasn't
35:43
Speaker 3: because there was a lack of love on my part.
35:45
Speaker 3: I just couldn't do it anymore.
35:48
Speaker 2: I was tired, tired from what wait wait, wait, how
35:51
Speaker 2: do you what do you mean? Tired, Like, how do
35:53
Speaker 2: you get tired of trying? Tired of him, tired of sex.
35:58
Speaker 3: Anything that has I don't know why she's tired.
36:00
Speaker 1: I don't want to clean anymore, Like, what is tired?
36:04
Speaker 1: So tight? It was? I just want you to know.
36:07
Speaker 1: It wasn't a lack of love, Joan, it wasn't.
36:10
Speaker 4: I think it had to do with, like you just said,
36:13
Speaker 4: cleaning the house, cooking habit, sex, run.
36:15
Speaker 1: In the air.
36:16
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think he does. He snores at night. I
36:18
Speaker 3: don't know, it's tired.
36:20
Speaker 1: Was tired of that? Yeah?
36:21
Speaker 4: Well.
36:21
Speaker 3: Brendan thirty five, and Alexa got married in June twenty
36:24
Speaker 3: twenty one during Love is Blind Season three, which aired
36:27
Speaker 3: on Netflix the next year. The pair was later welcomed
36:29
Speaker 3: a daughter of Vienna in July twenty twenty four. Well,
36:32
Speaker 3: how wonderful. At least they they had had a baby.
36:35
Speaker 3: They have a beautiful little daughter. When speaking with podcast
36:38
Speaker 3: co host Blake Hortsman and Love is Blind, A lum
36:42
Speaker 3: gi Nina malade Gabelli, I.
36:45
Speaker 1: Have no idea A good job, good Joe.
36:48
Speaker 3: I try I sound very Italian there, Alexa claimed the
36:51
Speaker 3: split was mutual. My main thing was I just wanted
36:54
Speaker 3: my daughter to see that what love looks like, and
36:56
Speaker 3: that wasn't it. She explained, It would be my biggest
36:59
Speaker 3: failure as a for that to be what she thought
37:02
Speaker 3: it was. I mean so true. I mean you, it's
37:05
Speaker 3: your job to show your kids what a good marriage
37:07
Speaker 3: looks like. I mean, you're the yeah example that that
37:10
Speaker 3: they'll ever seeing if they thought that they were sitting
37:14
Speaker 3: about example.
37:15
Speaker 4: You know what, Joan, you bring up a really good
37:17
Speaker 4: point because all three of us are old enough to
37:20
Speaker 4: know that we have friends.
37:22
Speaker 1: I certainly do. Who said I stayed married for the children?
37:27
Speaker 1: I did.
37:27
Speaker 2: I stayed the longest time, and we lived separately, but
37:30
Speaker 2: we weren't fighters. But I stayed because of the kids,
37:34
Speaker 2: and I'll never forget. After Dickie had moved out, my
37:37
Speaker 2: boys came up to me in the kitchen, said, Mom.
37:40
Speaker 1: Why did you wait so long? We knew you weren't happy.
37:42
Speaker 2: I said, for you, Yeah, you know, I could have
37:45
Speaker 2: maybe found a decent guy in forty at when I
37:49
Speaker 2: was forty instead of waiting, you know what I mean.
37:52
Speaker 4: And that's why you got to hand it to her,
37:55
Speaker 4: because she said it sounds so stupid. But I saw
37:58
Speaker 4: something on TikTok and it was like, quote, if your
38:02
Speaker 4: daughter was in the relationship that you're in, would you
38:05
Speaker 4: be proud or would you be disappointed? She said, while
38:09
Speaker 4: trying to hold back tears. And she said, I would
38:12
Speaker 4: have been really disappointed. That would have broken my heart.
38:15
Speaker 4: That was my answer. So why do I deserve this?
38:19
Speaker 1: Then?
38:19
Speaker 4: And that to me shows me what a strong, emotionally
38:23
Speaker 4: empowered woman she is to know she is not doing
38:27
Speaker 4: Vienna any favors by staying married. That you teach your
38:31
Speaker 4: children from strength, not from necessarily submission, because it might
38:35
Speaker 4: be easier to hang in for ten years.
38:38
Speaker 3: Yeah, And there's also part of me that thinks, you know,
38:40
Speaker 3: if the marriage was not good, staying married. Their daughter's
38:44
Speaker 3: really young. I think she will never remember life of
38:46
Speaker 3: her with her mom and dad together, So the spite
38:49
Speaker 3: is going to be so emotional for her. It's how
38:51
Speaker 3: she will know life.
38:53
Speaker 1: And you're so right.
38:55
Speaker 4: My son got divorced from his first wife when my
38:59
Speaker 4: granddaughter was not even quite three, and he's happily married
39:03
Speaker 4: now to a wonderful woman who is a great step
39:07
Speaker 4: mom to my granddaughter.
39:09
Speaker 1: And she doesn't remember. You're absolutely right.
39:12
Speaker 4: She doesn't remember her parents living together, and she has
39:15
Speaker 4: a stable home with my son his wife, and I
39:19
Speaker 4: think that's far more important than quote unquote staying together.
39:23
Speaker 3: Staying together for the kids, and it makes it easier
39:26
Speaker 3: on them. And like you said, you know, and like
39:28
Speaker 3: you said, Susan, maybe both of them have a chance
39:30
Speaker 3: of finding another love and it being the right one.
39:33
Speaker 3: And you know, every experience we have is part of
39:36
Speaker 3: the chapter that leads us to the next chapter. So
39:38
Speaker 3: this was a chapter that they're closing and hopefully it
39:41
Speaker 3: leads to a better chapter that they're over.
39:43
Speaker 2: And it's a learning isn't that Everything happens in our
39:46
Speaker 2: lives for a reason, so you learn from it, right.
39:49
