- 4:02Speaker 1: our spirits today on your word, Old God, that we
- 4:06Speaker 1: will trust it, that we will believe it, and that
- 4:09Speaker 1: we will apply it. And we asked it. You'll bless
- 4:13Speaker 1: every listener, every one under the sound of my voice,
- 4:17Speaker 1: bless him today, Old God is a listen as a
- 4:20Speaker 1: faithful as they're developing. O God, there, walk with you.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Got Let this podcast be a blessing. Let this be
- 4:28Speaker 1: a platform for discipleship. And we asked this in Jesus' name.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Hey man, all right, bro love it. Let's not waste
- 4:40Speaker 1: any time, but let's go ahead and dive into it.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Verse twenty three. And as we know little background, Paul
- 4:51Speaker 1: is in a situation here. You went back to Jerusalem,
- 4:56Speaker 1: and he encountered an angry mind, an angry crowd. The
- 5:03Speaker 1: Jews were going off of assumptions that Paul defiled the temple,
- 5:09Speaker 1: that he was preaching against the law of Moses, and
- 5:13Speaker 1: according to their law, he's worthy of death. But they
- 5:18Speaker 1: missed it completely because the Messiah fulfilled the law, and
- 5:25Speaker 1: he was preaching the Messiah, the one of everyone that
- 5:29Speaker 1: Moses wrote about, and he is a witness, an apostle.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And the Lord actually sent them to the Gentiles. And
- 5:39Speaker 1: so even though he had an angry mob trying to
- 5:41Speaker 1: kill him, his time was not up. It was not
- 5:45Speaker 1: time for him to get promoted and go home into
- 5:48Speaker 1: heaven at this time. So God protected him, and the
- 5:53Speaker 1: Lord said that he will be a witness in Rome.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Right now he is being taken and traveled. There was
- 6:03Speaker 1: a plot against his life, and so the centurion is
- 6:06Speaker 1: gonna protect him. We're gonna see God's protection. Even those
- 6:10Speaker 1: who conspire against us cannot overtake and override the will
- 6:18Speaker 1: of God for our lives. Amen, Let this be encouraging,
- 6:22Speaker 1: all right. Verse twenty three and he called for two centurions, saying,
- 6:27Speaker 1: prepare two hundred soldiers, seventy horsemen, and two hundred spearmen
- 6:33Speaker 1: to go to cessarea at the third hour of the night. Now,
- 6:39Speaker 1: let me back up for a second. Paul's little nephew
- 6:43Speaker 1: came in and shared this conspiracy. There were forty men
- 6:48Speaker 1: who took a vow not to eat or drink until
- 6:51Speaker 1: they have killed Paul. And Paul's nephew just happened to
- 6:55Speaker 1: be in the right place at the right time. So
- 6:58Speaker 1: after he told his uncle, he told the commander, and
- 7:04Speaker 1: the commander believed him and acted upon him. And this
- 7:08Speaker 1: is the response to these assassins who are trying to
- 7:11Speaker 1: take Paul's life. Man, I tell you what, two hundred soldiers,
- 7:17Speaker 1: seventy horsemen, two hundred spearmen, like Paul was protected. He
- 7:23Speaker 1: was covered. Look at guy's grace. If he can do
- 7:27Speaker 1: this in a natural he can also do this in
- 7:30Speaker 1: the spiritual. Just imagine the army of angels that God
- 7:36Speaker 1: has prepared to protect us as we fulfill his will
- 7:40Speaker 1: and his earth Amen Verse twenty four, and and provide
- 7:48Speaker 1: mounts to set Paul on and bring him safely to Felix.
- 7:54Speaker 1: The governor. Now check this out. This is four hundred
- 8:07Speaker 1: and seventy soldiers to protect one preacher. This is amazing.
- 8:16Speaker 1: This is divine protection. The enemy only had forty men
- 8:22Speaker 1: plotting against him, and God answered that plot with four
- 8:27Speaker 1: hundred and seventy soldiers. When God protects you, opposition gets
- 8:34Speaker 1: out numbered. Man, I can just imagine those dudes were
- 8:38Speaker 1: shaken in their boots when they saw that. Hallelujah. Alright,
- 8:51Speaker 1: where we're at, where we at verse twenty five, We'll
- 8:55Speaker 1: take it to twenty seven. Where is my spy? Okay?
- 9:05Speaker 1: Twenty five? He wrote a letter to the in the
- 9:08Speaker 1: following manner, Claudius Lystria to the most excellent Felix, Greetings,
- 9:19Speaker 1: this man was seized by the Jews. It was about
- 9:23Speaker 1: to be killed by them. Coming with the troops. I
- 9:28Speaker 1: rescue him, having learned that he was a Roman. Amen,
- 9:36Speaker 1: you think you think he rescued him? Hallelujah. Now he
- 9:42Speaker 1: wrote this following manner, Claudius to the most excellent Governor.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Now the commander explains Paul's innocence and the reason for
- 9:56Speaker 1: the transfer in his site, Paul all was not worthy
- 10:02Speaker 1: of death. Right now, notice this God made even unbelievers
- 10:07Speaker 1: defend Paul. The same commander who arrested him now writes
- 10:15Speaker 1: on his behalf in favor can shift fast fast. Favor
- 10:22Speaker 1: on our life can shift really quick. The very people
- 10:26Speaker 1: who oppose you can ultimately be the people who will
- 10:31Speaker 1: help you. And I've been in that situation where I've
- 10:35Speaker 1: had haters flip the script. Those who tried to come
- 10:40Speaker 1: against me are the very ones helping me in certain situations.
- 10:46Speaker 1: God is so amazing, hey man. So then, and when
- 10:55Speaker 1: he went to know the reason they accuse him, Now
- 11:02Speaker 1: he was a Roman, okay, twenty And when he all right,
- 11:07Speaker 1: let's start off. And when I wanted to know the
- 11:10Speaker 1: reason they accused him, I brought him before their counsel.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I found out that he was accused concerning questions of
- 11:23Speaker 1: their law, but had nothing charged against him. Desiring of
- 11:30Speaker 1: the deserving of death and of chains. All right, I'm
- 11:35Speaker 1: all over the place, excuse me, ah, all right. So
- 11:43Speaker 1: the Roman commander found no crime worthy of death. Paul's
- 11:50Speaker 1: issue was spiritual. It was not criminal. It was not
- 11:53Speaker 1: a civil matter. It was concerning their law. In the
- 11:58Speaker 1: ancured world. They considered the Jews to be peculiar anyway,
- 12:03Speaker 1: because of their law, in the way that they lived,
- 12:09Speaker 1: concerning their diets and certain things that they did. There
- 12:13Speaker 1: are times when sickness and disease would run through certain nations,
- 12:18Speaker 1: but the Jews would be innocent or not touched because
- 12:22Speaker 1: of their cleanliness. They were a very clean nation because
- 12:28Speaker 1: of the law. Now this is important. Paul was not guilty.
- 12:33Speaker 1: He was innocent because of truth. Sometimes your problem isn't wrongdoing.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Your problem is you live the truth. You speak the truth,
- 12:55Speaker 1: you preach the truth that makes other people uncomfortable. You
- 13:00Speaker 1: know that saying that we irritate their demons, right, we
- 13:06Speaker 1: irritate their devils, and people won't begin to dislike you
- 13:11Speaker 1: and not even know why. Say man, but we gotta
- 13:16Speaker 1: show that love. And when it was told me that
- 13:28Speaker 1: the Jews lay and wait for the man, I send
- 13:31Speaker 1: him immediately to you, and also commanded his accusers to
- 13:38Speaker 1: state before you the charges against him, aymen thirty one.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Then the soldiers, as they were commanded, took Paul and
- 13:49Speaker 1: brought him by night to Antipas or Anti Prius, if
- 14:00Speaker 1: I'm pronouncing that correctly, and that looks up. Shout out
- 14:03Speaker 1: to my brother Antipas. There's a brother that we know
- 14:06Speaker 1: me and my brother's own three antipass is out there
- 14:10Speaker 1: in California, tearing it up for the Lord. And so
- 14:16Speaker 1: that's the first thing that jumped out at me when
- 14:18Speaker 1: I read that. So the shout out to our brother
- 14:22Speaker 1: out there in Cali. Now, when they came to sus
- 14:27Speaker 1: Syria and had delivered the letter to the governor, they
- 14:32Speaker 1: also presented Paul to him. Now Paul is now officially
- 14:38Speaker 1: under the governor Felix jurisdiction. This is a transition right
- 14:49Speaker 1: here from the mob violence to a government court. It's
- 14:57Speaker 1: like going to the Supreme Court. God is moving Paul
- 15:01Speaker 1: exactly where he needs him to be. God is preparing
- 15:06Speaker 1: Paul for the trip to Rome, which is God's plan,
- 15:13Speaker 1: God's desire, in God's will. When they came to Cesarea
- 15:24Speaker 1: and had delivered the letter, they also presented Paul to him.
- 15:28Speaker 1: And when the governor had read it, he asked what
- 15:32Speaker 1: province he was from, and when he understood that he
- 15:37Speaker 1: was from Celicia, he said, I will hear you when
- 15:43Speaker 1: your accusers also have come and he commanded him to
- 15:47Speaker 1: be kept inherits petroleum. Now and man, we get to
- 15:56Speaker 1: finish another chapter today, but let's break it down. Felix
- 16:03Speaker 1: prost pumped pro I can't say there were Phoenix postponed.
- 16:10Speaker 1: That's it. Felix postponed judgment until formal accusations arrive. Right,
- 16:20Speaker 1: Paul is placed safely. And here it's spot. I don't
- 16:28Speaker 1: even know what a petroleum is. Maybe we can look
- 16:30Speaker 1: that up. But he is tucked away. So Paul is waiting.
- 16:38Speaker 1: But even though while he's waiting, Paul is protected. Now,
- 16:46Speaker 1: sometimes God's doesn't remove the presence of danger, but he
- 16:57Speaker 1: protects you in the midst of it. Now, let me
- 17:02Speaker 1: say that again. God may not remove you from a
- 17:07Speaker 1: situation or circumstance that is uncomfortable or even possibly dangerous,
- 17:16Speaker 1: but in the midst of it, God has his divine protection,
- 17:21Speaker 1: He has his hand on us. Therefore we can be bold,
- 17:25Speaker 1: we can be courageous, and we can rejoice in the
- 17:30Speaker 1: middle of it. And remember, Jesus appeared to Paul and
- 17:37Speaker 1: gave Paul instruction encourage them. He told him to be
- 17:40Speaker 1: of good cheer. So Paul had no reason to waver
- 17:44Speaker 1: at all. He saw the Lord, he knew who he
- 17:53Speaker 1: was serving. And we need to stand on that same
- 17:58Speaker 1: foundation by faith. We need to look into the eyes
- 18:02Speaker 1: of our creator, and we need to see ourselves in him,
- 18:07Speaker 1: and that is what's gonna give us the courage to
- 18:10Speaker 1: face another day. Amen, tame for a break.
- 18:16Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 18:20Speaker 5: is the hiss Hop radio show.

- 20:51Speaker 4: I tried to tell myself if you didn't care every.
- 20:54Speaker 7: Time I fall, I want you to hide, but there
- 20:57Speaker 7: is nowhere to go because you're everywhere. It's on my phone,
- 21:02Speaker 7: the lie.
- 21:03Speaker 4: It's easy to get to see this like just say,
- 21:05Speaker 4: isn't fair every time you.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Come you had to, you could easily.
- 21:10Speaker 7: Drug me down with your day's fair.
- 21:14Speaker 5: I owe you my life.
- 21:16Speaker 7: I should have been taking out about a dozen different
- 21:18Speaker 7: times days, but instead you showed me how to love,
- 21:21Speaker 7: live and cries. But then he died because of your sacrifice.
- 21:27Speaker 7: Give a hardeylujah. You open your ears. When I was
- 21:31Speaker 7: running to you, I hardly knew you, but I knew no.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Sorry, I've been walking on this road for way so long.
- 21:41Speaker 3: When you take away my son, I've been running going

- 21:47Speaker 3: there to do away this man I have. My heart
- 21:50Speaker 3: is feeling catless. Put this speace up in my heart
- 21:53Speaker 3: only image. I've been trying to hold onto this baggers
- 21:57Speaker 3: with this speech up in my hole. You want to
- 22:00Speaker 3: throw my hands, Oh, I say, I know that you
- 22:04Speaker 3: can take away my pain came after me when.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I was led astray, lose.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Since I met you, I ain't never been the same.
- 22:12Speaker 5: I'm gonna throw my hands.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Out what I say.
- 22:15Speaker 5: I know that you can take away my pain.
- 22:18Speaker 4: You came after me when I was leedistray. Since I
- 22:21Speaker 4: met you, I ain't never been the same.
- 22:37Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 22:41Speaker 5: is the hiss hop radio shot.
- 22:59Speaker 1: All right, I all right, we are back from the break.
- 23:04Speaker 1: And that was a sap. Look them up on YouTube
- 23:11Speaker 1: it see a different vibe, different vibe, something kind of upbeat.
- 23:15Speaker 1: You know, we like to switch it up sometimes here
- 23:18Speaker 1: on the platform. But now it is time for the
- 23:22Speaker 1: accountability partner segment. This segment was birth out of seeing
- 23:28Speaker 1: our brothers and sisters struggling with the same sin, seeing
- 23:32Speaker 1: our brothers and sisters not progressing in their walk with
- 23:37Speaker 1: the Lord, and the Bible speaks of a besetting sin
- 23:43Speaker 1: in the presumptuous sin. Look look those up, do a
- 23:47Speaker 1: study of those because these things can block us from
- 23:52Speaker 1: entering into the Kingdom if we really don't take our
- 23:55Speaker 1: walk serious. And so sometimes it an accountability partner, somebody
- 24:02Speaker 1: who can speak into your life, speak the word of
- 24:05Speaker 1: God into your life. Someone who has some spiritual victories themselves,
- 24:09Speaker 1: someone that you can see progressing in their walk with
- 24:12Speaker 1: the Lord. Amen. That means we're learning how to deny
- 24:19Speaker 1: self right, how to put God first, and how to
- 24:24Speaker 1: walk those things out. You know, you cannot fake the
- 24:27Speaker 1: fruits of the spirit, which is love, joy, peace, temperance, meekness, patience,
- 24:34Speaker 1: brotherly love, kindness. If you don't see love in a
- 24:38Speaker 1: person's life, then it should be evidence in their family.
- 24:43Speaker 1: If you're loving, you know their wife and their children.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I'm just talking about those in ministry right. If you're
- 24:51Speaker 1: looking for a pastor or spiritual leader, that you will
- 24:55Speaker 1: allow it because you can't allow anybody just to speak
- 24:58Speaker 1: into your life, even when it comes to the Word,
- 25:00Speaker 1: because there's a lot of false teachers out there. The
- 25:04Speaker 1: Bible says you can tell by their fruits, and that
- 25:07Speaker 1: fruit is love. You can't fake love a man. You
- 25:11Speaker 1: can't fake selfishness and self centeredness. At one point, I mean,
- 25:16Speaker 1: you can try to counterfeit it, but at one point
- 25:19Speaker 1: you will be exposed if you're false. So Amen, you know,
- 25:24Speaker 1: so I'm not just this kountability segment is not just
- 25:28Speaker 1: random a random thing. You know, just go find somebody
- 25:31Speaker 1: to be your mentor. And you don't have a biblical
- 25:36Speaker 1: qualification for people who speak into your life. Amen. Don't
- 25:41Speaker 1: even allow just anybody to pray over you. Amen. I
- 25:46Speaker 1: don't know. That was just a side note, But we
- 25:48Speaker 1: do need that accountability in our lives. Do you need
- 25:51Speaker 1: someone that can speak over us, someone that can agree
- 25:55Speaker 1: and prayer with us, someone that can correct us when
- 25:59Speaker 1: we get on the wrong path or if we're not
- 26:01Speaker 1: even growing, you know why, what's the problem? You know,
- 26:05Speaker 1: it could be something simple as just being too lazy.
- 26:08Speaker 1: You know, we need to be pursuing God. We need
- 26:10Speaker 1: to seek him. We need to wake up in the morning,
- 26:13Speaker 1: you know, cut some sleep and get in that prayer
- 26:16Speaker 1: closet every day a life of discipline. That's why the
- 26:21Speaker 1: men that I work with, I tell them it's a
- 26:24Speaker 1: requirement to meet us on his life Chat every day.
- 26:27Speaker 1: And if you can't meet us at eleven, you know,
- 26:30Speaker 1: hit us up in the replays and then log onto
- 26:35Speaker 1: the Life Chat and let us know in the reason
- 26:38Speaker 1: why it helps to develop a daily discipline. Discipline is
- 26:44Speaker 1: everything when it comes to our relationship with God. If
- 26:47Speaker 1: we don't learn how to discipline, we can't lead if
- 26:51Speaker 1: we don't know how to be committed, we don't know
- 26:54Speaker 1: how to meet God every day and see God every day,
- 26:58Speaker 1: We're gonna drift and go backwards it And so that's
- 27:02Speaker 1: one of the reasons why we do it. Even my
- 27:04Speaker 1: brother Corinth was like every day and he thought about it.
- 27:08Speaker 1: You know what, I do need the word every day.
- 27:10Speaker 1: So shout out to a brother corint a brother Zone
- 27:13Speaker 1: three in a life chat. Love you brothers and everyone
- 27:17Speaker 1: else has been popping in lately. We need y'all to
- 27:20Speaker 1: pop in consistently. And we also have a daily challenge
- 27:27Speaker 1: in the live chat if you head on over for
- 27:29Speaker 1: the accountability Partner. As your partner, do I trust God's
- 27:33Speaker 1: protection while I'm waiting.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Now?
- 27:38Speaker 1: The challenge is stop focusing only on the attack of
- 27:43Speaker 1: the enemy. Look at the protection from God. Because if
- 27:49Speaker 1: you still, if you are still here, God is still
- 27:54Speaker 1: working and man, if you still breathing, you're still on
- 27:57Speaker 1: this earth, God still has a job for you to do. Amen, hallelujah.
- 28:05Speaker 1: And also we want you to know that his Hot

- 29:04Speaker 1: of streams. We're taking over mainstream hip hop. This is
- 29:09Speaker 1: nothing but God. It's a great time right now to
- 29:12Speaker 1: be a artist. Amen, to be a real one and
- 29:18Speaker 1: not a sellout. Hallelujah. All right. Trivia time, Trivia time.
- 29:28Speaker 1: My Brother's on three has been a trivia champ for
- 29:34Speaker 1: the last couple of weeks. As a matter of fact,
- 29:42Speaker 1: let's scroll up. In the live chat. The last question
- 29:46Speaker 1: was how many men form the conspiracy to kill Paul
- 29:55Speaker 1: in the last episode and the options we're twelve, twenty,
- 30:02Speaker 1: more than forty or seventy, and so I see da
- 30:10Speaker 1: da da da. I'm just reading some of the comments here. Huh.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Actually nah, nobody got that one. Zone three was in
- 30:28Speaker 1: a life chat, so he didn't get it live all right,
- 30:32Speaker 1: So we got two up for grabs. How many people
- 30:39Speaker 1: formed a conspiracy to kill Paul? And today's trivial question
- 30:44Speaker 1: is how many soldiers were sent to protect Paul? Was
- 30:50Speaker 1: it forty? Was one hundred and twenty? Was it four
- 30:53Speaker 1: hundred and seventy? Was it seven hundred? So we're playing.
- 30:58Speaker 1: You know, we got to do some math on this podcast,
- 31:02Speaker 1: So whoever gets both gets a double bonus in the
- 31:09Speaker 1: live chat and double the bragging rights. So the first
- 31:16Speaker 1: to answer gets it. I write a quick community shout out.
- 31:24Speaker 1: We are still gearing up for our event at the
- 31:28Speaker 1: Boule of Oar Mall. It is May the eighth. We
- 31:31Speaker 1: got other things going in the community, too much to mention,
- 31:36Speaker 1: so please head over to our website, his hot nation
