  got really popular, but after a while it just stopped getting viewers. And

  I'm not sure if you have to do if that happens on YouTube or anything

  reading this around there. I started reading this series after I watched season two

  of the Real Time on Amazon, because I watched the first season and I

  Rebecca Yarros. This is the of five books well projected books for the Imperium

  series. Rebecca was a decided to be a boss ass bitch for Your twenty

  twenty three, and she decided to release the first two books within the same

  year, So a fourth wayne was released in April April fifth, twenty twenty

  three, and then iron Flame was released that November. And let me tell

  This is going to be a very condensed summary. If you want the

  book. I think I personally thought it was pretty good. This is a

  romance fantasy oh or or the combined genre is romancey genre. It has about

  five hundred and twelve pages, so it's not that long. I mean it's

  long for me because I'm a little I just like to just paying the ass.

  But for a normal person that that's actually not that long for a book.

  It's it's still a good sized book. Yeah, Like the first few

  books in the Real Time series were like over a thousand pages, but now

  they're averaging out to like six seven hundred, so they're getting shorter. Okay,

  So uh, this book takes place in a world, in a fantasy

  world or dragons and Griffins and other creatures live. Takes place at a war
• 16:15
  college called Besgaiath and in a fintional country called Navar. I think that's how

  it's pronounced Navarre or then the e is silent, so it's in a V
• 16:26
  A R R E. But I think the siece, so it's Navarre.

  And we follow a twenty year old named Violet Soreingale. Now, something about

  Violet soaring Gale so violent, soaring Gale is very She's all the oh god,

  you know what, I'm getting way to have myself, I was explaining

  it as I go. So again, this story takes place around it's centered
• 16:56
  around Violet Soaring Gale as she's a new student at best guy at war College,

  she is be enforced by her mother, who is known as General Lilith

  Sorengil, who is the general of this country's army, and she's the general
• 17:15
  head of all the dragon writers. So this war college has three different what

  they call it, three different groups, I don't even know what they call

  it. Three different sections. You got the infantry, which aren't like yes,

  you got the infantry, which is like the foot soldiers. You got
• 17:36
  the scribes, which are the people who document everything that happens in the wars
• 17:40
  as well as the country's history, and they're the ones that document and take
• 17:44
  and control of the library and keep to that tabs of all the knowledge.

  And then you have the dragon writers, which are the ones that are also
• 17:52
  part of the the army, but they're obviously the bond with dragons, which
• 17:56
  they have a relationship with and Navarre where they have a location called the Veil,

  and the Veils is a location blocked off from the humans where the dragons
• 18:08
  live and thrive and they late have families, lay eggs, all that kind
• 18:14
  of shit. And different color dragons you can think of all there's six different
• 18:18
  factions of colored dragons. YEA. So Violet is a new recruit in the
• 18:26
  dragon Writer's sector. She was originally supposed to be a scribe because she is
• 18:33
  very physically small compared to everyone else, as well as physically frail. She
• 18:40
  has a I can't remember what the condition's name is, but she has a
• 18:44
  condition that is not really said that she has this condition the book, but
• 18:48
  the way to describe it is kind of you can equate it to a real
• 18:52
  life condition where a person's joints is not are not very strong, and it's
• 18:57
  very easy to bones or injury yourself because your bones could pop out of place.

  And you soon kind of realize that because when she gets into this war
• 19:08
  college and it's a dragon writer, you have to spar and fight and do
• 19:14
  dangerous stuff. And she pops out shoulders, breaks arms, limbs, you

  name it. She breaks about she breaks bones all like all the fucking time.

  She's I forgot the name of the syndrome, but it's like a it's
• 19:26
  like there's like a scientific name for it, like or like a proper name

  for it, and then there's a uh like common name like brittle bone syndrome

  or like glass phones it's EDS. It's uh Ether's dan loves syndrome. It's

  basically a genetic syndrome that includes often loosing the joints, joint pain, stretchy

  skin, and scarf formation. O. So she has very she has loose

  joints and joint pain a lot, and it's very easy for her to break

  bones. I mean, she's very limber, as you soon find out,

  but due to the loose joints, and doesn't take much to pop out bones,

  like she pops out her shoulder like three or four times in these two

  books, or she breaks an arm, and shit, it's it's fucking ridiculous.

  It doesn't take much to break something on her if if someone really wanted

  to. So she was trying to go for the scribes because her father,

  I'm not her so her mother, of course, is the general for the

  Dragon writers. Her father was a scribe, and she was more comfortable with

  her father, and she was basically I mean, she was ready for both

  her parents, but she spent the majority of her time with her dad in

  the library and the archives, learning the ways of the scribe, while her

  mother is cold, a cold hearted bitch who is very stand up fish and

  obviously a general. So at this point father's dead father died two years before

  the story, starts, and she has two siblings, an older brother named

  Brennan who's a dragon writer, and he died. He died five years ago

  during a battle because right now Nfar is waging war against a neighboring nation who

  have Griffin writers, and Brennan disappeared well, died in a battle that happened
• 21:32
  five years ago, and her mother, General soring Gil, forced Violet to
• 21:38
  go into the dragon writer's quadrant and she's like, uh, why, I
• 21:45
  don't want to fucking be here, but she's forced you, so she kind
• 21:48
  of has to stick it out. So after being forced, she is.

  This is where Kueschol trained to be become an elite dragon writer, assuming the

  survivals that she survives the brutal process of doing so. The first thing she

  has to do on day one is cross something that they call a parapet,

  which is a you have to go these very long stairs, long windy stairs

  that are carved all the stone of a mountain, and you have to cross

  raining, people slip off. So she has grip on her on her boots.

  But her friend that she saw that she got to know, it's like,

  she takes off one of her boots and switches boots with Rihannin, and she's

  risk to save her friend by giving her one of her boots so she could

  parapet and she meets actually, no, she doesn't mean she meets in the

  very beginning, okay, rewind rewind a little bit before she crosses said parapets,

  you meet Violet's older sister, Mira. Amira is a dragon writer that

  came in a couple of years before she did. She's already graduated, because
• 24:45
  you got three years and then after the third year you're graduating and you're sent
• 24:48
  off into whatever they call it basse not bass yeah unit, yeah, sent

  off to it yet. But she came back to well, she's given her

  station. That's I guess like where she's gonna be, like where where she'll

  be operating from like, this will be like her more or less semi permanent

  stay away from Zayden Ryerson, which is Satan. Ryerson is a third year

  at this point. He is a wing leader of the unit in the school,

  and she's like, stay the fuck away from Zayden. And because his

  father, Finn Ryerson, was executed by their mother five years ago during as

  he was leading a rebellion against the Navar Ooh, yeah, so there's a

  there was a province in the nation of Navarre that decided to We're gonna fuck

  y'all, y'all do some weird shit. They never really go in exactly what

  happened. But they're doing book two, but there's a rebellion. The adults

  behind it were all murdered, and all the kids left from the families were

  all marked by a dragon. They have marks on some of have on their

  necks and having their arm chest and they basically marked as the hunt one,

  as the one of the one hundred and eight kids of the rebellion. Yeah,

  and they're all forced to go through the Dragon Writer's unit. They're all

  forced to do it. People think, oh, because they're not gonna survive,

  so they so it's not they can't kill them because they're the children of

  the people that cause the rebellion. But you know what, the Dragon Wire,

  the Dragon Writer Quadrant will do it for us. Yeah. Well,

  they decided to force all these kids in when they read the when they reach

  the age of twenty. So she's like, oh shit the fact. So

  she gets a thing of dragon armor from her sister, older sister, and

  she's like, wear this at all times because if Ryerson or any of the

  other marked ones find out who you are, they're gonna try to fucking someone's

  gonna try to fucking kill you. So wear this dragon scale armor and You're

  gonna be fine because if someone tries to stab you with a knife on the

  dragons dragon scale armor, it won't pierce. It won't pierce you because dragon

  skills are fucking intense. So she's like, oh, great, thanks,

  that's lovely. So she sees Ryerson, trying to think she sees Ryerson before
