Transcript
- 0:18Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to Gatesly, the pop culture game show
- 0:22Speaker 1: that shines the spotlight onto everyone's favorite fandoms. I'm using
- 0:26Speaker 1: a softer voice to conjure up the imagery that we're
- 0:29Speaker 1: sitting by a roaring fire, drinking hot coco and snuggling
- 0:33Speaker 1: up together on Christmas Eve, when in reality it's November thirtieth.
- 0:38Speaker 1: The fire you can hear has been added in post
- 0:41Speaker 1: and we're honestly here for more of like a friends
- 0:43Speaker 1: giving thing today. But come on pretend with us. Ah,
- 0:48Speaker 1: I'm your games master and that guy who makes everyone
- 0:51Speaker 1: play a game on Christmas Day, Matt Watson. But a
- 0:55Speaker 1: games master needs games, and games need players. And I'm
- 0:59Speaker 1: joined by four of my favorite people in all of
- 1:02Speaker 1: the world. They've been a part of this podcast since
- 1:04Speaker 1: day one, and without them, it just it just wouldn't exist.
- 1:08Speaker 1: So let me introduce them. I've not written anything funny here.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Shall I stay sweet? Or shall I come up with
- 1:12Speaker 1: something funny to roast guys?
- 1:16Speaker 2: Roast chestnuts, popical seasonal?
- 1:22Speaker 1: Okay, On the sofa to my left, we have everyone.
- 1:27Speaker 1: We I'll do you as Christmas dinner guests. Yeah, okay.
- 1:32Speaker 1: On the sofa to my left, we have the sickly
- 1:35Speaker 1: tiny tim of the podcast. It's Audre Stevenson.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Hello, it's we I'm already crying. It is so sweet.
- 1:43Speaker 1: And also to my left, she is the opinionated liberal
- 1:47Speaker 1: and I wear tried and on the sofa. To my right,
- 1:57Speaker 1: he is the toxic call. It's Jason noway and oh man,
- 2:07Speaker 1: it's hard to come up with insults for men because
- 2:09Speaker 1: they're just all toxic. He is the other toxic. Who
- 2:15Speaker 1: believes that one about space lasers?
- 2:17Speaker 3: It's Chris. It's so true. Do your own research, look it.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Up, some really interesting stuff.
- 2:24Speaker 4: I use being for all my research. You guys, that's
- 2:28Speaker 4: just me.
- 2:29Speaker 1: The bing Ai image generated, it's just whatever. You what
- 2:32Speaker 1: if you think it is true?
- 2:35Speaker 2: See I have a picture of the lasers in space.
- 2:37Speaker 3: It works.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to be saying a lot of where
- 2:41Speaker 1: am I in that part I'll edit out of the
- 2:43Speaker 1: actual file thing where am I? Where am I?
- 2:46Speaker 3: Okay?
- 2:46Speaker 1: There you go?
- 2:47Speaker 2: What else?
- 2:48Speaker 3: What else? What else?
- 2:51Speaker 1: So welcome to the gate Leapers Christmas game night, y'all.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Thanks for having us. It's so good. Yeah, at least
- 3:01Speaker 2: three of us. This isn't actually our home, So thank
- 3:03Speaker 2: you for welcoming to your home.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Yeah, so cozy.
- 3:06Speaker 1: We're recording this in our living room. They're not in
- 3:10Speaker 1: the studio. We set up new vibes so we can
- 3:13Speaker 1: be by that fire that everyone can hear.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Almost New Year, Almost knew us.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I love this. It's two pm on.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Almost just doing a lot of the heavy lifting.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I didn't say it is.
- 3:30Speaker 1: So I've got a prompt here for some small talking
- 3:32Speaker 1: case we're not naturally riffing, which at the moment we're not.
- 3:36Speaker 1: So I'm going to ask you all the questions. What
- 3:38Speaker 1: was the best gift you got when you were like
- 3:39Speaker 1: seven ish?
- 3:41Speaker 2: Oh, okay, seven ish Christmas?
- 3:45Speaker 1: Take yourself back round about seven. You don't have to
- 3:48Speaker 1: be exactly right. Okay, you got it, christ Mine take
- 3:52Speaker 1: take the lead.
- 3:53Speaker 3: It's a two for it was.
- 3:55Speaker 4: It was a week before we're moving out of the
- 3:58Speaker 4: house that I had grown up in for the first
- 4:00Speaker 4: like nine ten years of my life.
- 4:02Speaker 1: And it's not seven years, it's nine ten.
- 4:05Speaker 4: So I'm a little bit older than you guys. I'm
- 4:08Speaker 4: just a little bit older in this example. Yes, but
- 4:12Speaker 4: I got a big stuffed who is the elephant from Tarzan?
- 4:20Speaker 4: I got a big stuffed tantor and a big stuffed
- 4:22Speaker 4: bullseye from toy Story.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Incredible in one Christmas. It was crazy. Uh, it was
- 4:28Speaker 3: blowing my mind. And that was that was like my
- 4:30Speaker 3: favorite things.
- 4:30Speaker 1: You like, I was expecting one of these maybe, but yeah,
- 4:33Speaker 1: two doubles.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Oh that's incredible. That's a good one.
- 4:39Speaker 5: I'm trying to remember any specific early gifts, and I
- 4:42Speaker 5: remember one that was really early, and I think this
- 4:45Speaker 5: is going to show how insane I was from the
- 4:47Speaker 5: start going. I got a calligraphy set where you had
- 4:53Speaker 5: a block of dried ink and you had to in
- 4:56Speaker 5: a stone. You had to like like mill or like
- 5:01Speaker 5: grind the baby a thing I've never to add water
- 5:06Speaker 5: so that you could make your pot of ink for
- 5:09Speaker 5: your calligraphy practice.
- 5:12Speaker 3: It doesn't help the rumors that are is like a
- 5:14Speaker 3: Mennonite Christmas before I got a butter Yeah, I mean
- 5:25Speaker 3: on the farm.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Gosh, yeah, that's that is a good gift. It is
- 5:30Speaker 1: very stereotypically you.
- 5:32Speaker 5: It was so incredibly me and for such a like
- 5:36Speaker 5: a left wing liberal woman. So many of my hobbies
- 5:40Speaker 5: are old timey chores.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Oh, yes, that's actually it. Yes, it's always projection. It's
- 5:45Speaker 1: always the consistency.
- 5:48Speaker 3: I'm going for balance crafts, that's what that is.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Everybody's favorite trad wife.
- 5:56Speaker 5: My husband wanted to make a podcast.
- 6:02Speaker 3: That's been fine.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I'm going to catch a lot of strikes today. I
- 6:07Speaker 1: can tell you, Jason, you've got a gift that you
- 6:10Speaker 1: got when you were about seven ish.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Uh. You know, all my best gifts were not at
- 6:15Speaker 3: Christmas time. I think I remember getting like a lot
- 6:18Speaker 3: of art gifts when I was a kid because in
- 6:21Speaker 3: tradition for my family, they went, what's something that can
- 6:24Speaker 3: supplement this kid's talents and skills? How do we nurture
- 6:29Speaker 3: him into a professional? Really early on?
- 6:31Speaker 1: This gift must have function, yeah exactly.
- 6:33Speaker 3: But like I still like doing arts and crafts now,
- 6:36Speaker 3: so I will say practicality as its as its uses definitely,
- 6:41Speaker 3: Like I don't know, I paint for fun now, you
- 6:45Speaker 3: know what I mean?
- 6:45Speaker 1: And that might not have happened. I think there's this gift.
- 6:48Speaker 5: I think there's such a good balance in that because
- 6:51Speaker 5: my family and I don't necessarily agree with it. My
- 6:54Speaker 5: family was very much what's a frivolous thing that they
- 6:57Speaker 5: would never ever buy, they would never ever think to
- 7:01Speaker 5: buy for themselves. But then you just end up with
- 7:04Speaker 5: wild ship you're not gonna use. And so there's like
- 7:08Speaker 5: the I think the balance between that and like what
- 7:11Speaker 5: is gonna like help facilitate this kid's skills in like
- 7:15Speaker 5: a monetary sense, there's a good balance of you paint
- 7:17Speaker 5: for fun, what's this like thing that you might not
- 7:20Speaker 5: buy for yourself, but is going to facilitate something you love?
- 7:26Speaker 5: And I think that there's I think that that's growing up.
- 7:29Speaker 3: No, I totally agree. Actually, as was saying, there's no
- 7:31Speaker 3: joke here. Remember I actually remember I got a pack
- 7:35Speaker 3: of Yugio cards once. Actually, that's it, That's that's dragon.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Was pretty cool you talking about before crafts.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Painting and Jen if you've got a gift from when
- 7:56Speaker 1: you were about seven.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't remember fully of this was a gift
- 8:00Speaker 2: to my sister me or if my parents were like
- 8:03Speaker 2: it's for both of you. So I remember for Christmas
- 8:06Speaker 2: we got an easy bake oven. Oh oh, and I
- 8:10Speaker 2: was around seven or eight. So again I could have
- 8:13Speaker 2: just been there like, well you an Sam are going
- 8:15Speaker 2: to get the same thing my sister. But yeah, which
- 8:18Speaker 2: like says a lot. We were. We baked a lot
- 8:21Speaker 2: as kids. I was almost a pastry chef. There was
- 8:24Speaker 2: a lot of lower there, but the easy Bake was
- 8:27Speaker 2: very fun to play with. And then when it started
- 8:30Speaker 2: kind of like not working anymore, we started doing experiments
- 8:35Speaker 2: with it, all.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Kinds of things. Did you put in as the arby?
- 8:41Speaker 2: I did you do torture playing? Yeah, no joke. There
- 8:46Speaker 2: was one time my mom caught me sitting in my
- 8:48Speaker 2: closet with a like a table lamp with the shade
- 8:52Speaker 2: taken off with so you like just the bulb was exposed,
- 8:56Speaker 2: and I was pushing barbie hair onto the top of it,
- 9:00Speaker 2: and I was in a closet, and so my mom
- 9:03Speaker 2: was like, this is just fumed. There's just plastic. I
- 9:08Speaker 2: was both going to light our apartment on fire. And
- 9:10Speaker 2: also I'm as mad plastic plastic around the early two thousands,
- 9:18Speaker 2: So who knows?
- 9:19Speaker 3: Serial killers ship?
- 9:22Speaker 2: I put bottle rockets in my barbies. I cut I.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Cut their heads up, but so I could fit it down. Wow,
- 9:35Speaker 3: make her kiss my toy is.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Obviously it made them kiss first.
- 9:41Speaker 5: It's not narrative that satisfying that they're gonna die first.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Then you do the torch.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Do you know?
- 9:47Speaker 1: You know I prefer to kiss things before I get
- 9:50Speaker 1: a rocket shift down it.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Just w yeah, wow, nervous, you know, machine.
- 10:02Speaker 2: They have to learn to love.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Oh thank you for sharing those wonderful, heartwarming stories, is
- 10:10Speaker 1: what I have written down here. I'm not sure they're
- 10:12Speaker 1: exactly that, but sure. Okay, we're going to mix things
- 10:17Speaker 1: up today, mix the format up a bit for Christmas
- 10:20Speaker 1: as a treat. But I still want to hear some
- 10:23Speaker 1: team names because I think that makes sense. We've got
- 10:25Speaker 1: a sofa to the left, we've got the sofa to
- 10:27Speaker 1: the right. It's kind of if we can gender it
- 10:29Speaker 1: a bit, we've kind of got boys be girls going on.
- 10:33Speaker 2: I'll allow it.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Yeah, that happened. I think like family Christmas gatherings, you're
- 10:36Speaker 1: more likely to get a gender divide. And we're just
- 10:39Speaker 1: trying to, you know, keep these traditions going. So, Jason, Chris,
- 10:47Speaker 1: have you got a team name idea?
- 10:49Speaker 3: Well, we're two toxic uncles. Yeah, yeah, and I really
- 10:52Speaker 3: want to embrace that.
- 10:53Speaker 4: H And you know what's more toxic uncle then destroying
- 11:00Speaker 4: a Christmas dinner and then taking a trial to Denny's instead.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Santa Claus.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Yeah, reference Santa Claus with all the other divorced dads
- 11:11Speaker 4: and their casts and whatnot.
- 11:12Speaker 3: I think Christmas is the time for the divorced dad
- 11:15Speaker 3: to shine. Yeah, shouts out to divorced dads out there.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Shouts out to die Hard divorce dad movie die Hard,
- 11:23Speaker 3: probably as a divorce dad, and there sot he should
- 11:25Speaker 3: be his dad was terrible. Uh yeah, I'm sure there's
- 11:29Speaker 3: more out there.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Christmas story should be divorced, but you know whatever, I
- 11:33Speaker 4: guess a lot more should be divorced.
- 11:35Speaker 3: But yeah, you're.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Just inspiring them to take the right choices.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Will just take your.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Yeah, and we also love alliteration. So we went with
- 11:49Speaker 4: divorce Dad Denny's Dinner, the quadruple d Yeah, the quadruple Yeah,
- 11:55Speaker 4: that's what we said. Yeah, that's per second.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, there's the math between the two of you.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Yeah, you got quadis quadi.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I like the look of thought on your face and.
- 12:13Speaker 3: I said that that escaped my mouth and I'm just
- 12:16Speaker 3: gonna retract it.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I love that so much. The divorced Dad's Denny Dennis Hell. Yeah, sad,
- 12:24Speaker 1: but also a tradition.
- 12:28Speaker 3: What says Christmas? Then a fucking moons over Miami? Oh
- 12:33Speaker 3: my god. We started on a Lumberjack slam dog.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Okay, wait, these could all be faked me because I've
- 12:40Speaker 1: never be's name.
- 12:45Speaker 5: We're gonna to d fresh and fruity.
- 12:48Speaker 3: The things us, the two toxic guncles are.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Gonna make up, make Denny's meals, We's menu, No's encyclopedia.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Oh excellent, Okay, quadrupled, Let's find out who you'll be
- 13:04Speaker 1: facing ultra.
- 13:05Speaker 2: I had a.
- 13:06Speaker 5: Couple ideas, Yeah them at me. One of them is
- 13:09Speaker 5: fine when one of them is solid, so confident. We
- 13:13Speaker 5: have a lovely dog on your lap. So the Santa Pause.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Movie, I'm learning there's definitely Santa buddies. I think Santa
- 13:25Speaker 2: Pause is awesome.
- 13:26Speaker 5: If not, we're making it after this. And then my
- 13:31Speaker 5: second one is Saint Nitolus.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Very Yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 5: We both are big into fiber arts. You can check
- 13:41Speaker 5: out Gen's insta at half double docent fantastic.
- 13:45Speaker 3: The one though so sorry he can't do it at
- 13:53Speaker 3: the end.
- 13:56Speaker 2: No, I love that. I was thinking, as we mentioned
- 14:00Speaker 2: in every podcast we're on, we both and most of
- 14:04Speaker 2: us in this room grew up religious in some way,
- 14:07Speaker 2: and so I was thinking of Christmas hymns, which, like
- 14:12Speaker 2: they all slap, Let's be honest, genuinely so good nies
- 14:18Speaker 2: are great. Listen you get some handbells and some middle
- 14:24Speaker 2: aged women up to about eighty and some hand nice
- 14:27Speaker 2: satin gloves. Stop it. Well, that's fine, gus.
- 14:39Speaker 3: So.
- 14:39Speaker 2: I was trying to think of other names, and I
- 14:41Speaker 2: was thinking, because the hand bells, Carol of the Bells.
- 14:45Speaker 2: But we're also a D and D crew, so Carol
- 14:48Speaker 2: of the Nine House. I love it, nine House. And
- 14:55Speaker 2: we will be writing this as we get intoxicated today,
- 15:00Speaker 2: so maybe on the prime Patreon there will be at
- 15:04Speaker 2: least a tues.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Yes, hark, how the hell you just referenced the August
- 15:13Speaker 3: Byurns red version of Carol of the Bells.
- 15:15Speaker 5: True, so absolutely slaps yes, yes, yes, that's such a
- 15:19Speaker 5: specific reference.
- 15:20Speaker 3: I love it. Hey, there's like, you know, at least
- 15:24Speaker 3: two people that are gonna popular.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I'm one of them.
- 15:28Speaker 5: Someone else a great time one's.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Carol of the Nine Hells. Is what you've got absolute
- 15:36Speaker 1: if you're interested, that's Cottna it's not is.
- 15:41Speaker 5: Yeah. When it's when it's like abbreviated, there is a
- 15:46Speaker 5: clear advantage.
- 15:49Speaker 1: No, I love it Carol of the Nine Hells. Yeah,
- 15:52Speaker 1: it's I love the journey that you took to get
- 15:54Speaker 1: to that name.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Thank you, Thank you. Everything in life is a journey.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Wow, we need to drink more wine, more Angria. Okay,
- 16:04Speaker 1: so we've got Carol of the Nine Hells versus the
- 16:08Speaker 1: Divorced Dady Denny's Dinner.
- 16:13Speaker 2: We need more wine.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Maybe you don't, so before we get to the games.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Instead of a muse, what match changes?
- 16:22Speaker 2: Is he drunk? Oh my Goshgria was too good?
- 16:27Speaker 3: Are you another toxic uncle? Is this a trio? Look?
- 16:31Speaker 1: I'm more of a sort of toxic gunkle than I
- 16:34Speaker 1: am from the Nine Hells. Too soft to be from
- 16:37Speaker 1: the Nine Hells. Instead of a muse, I've asked our
- 16:41Speaker 1: players to bring in a gift for their teammate. And also,
- 16:45Speaker 1: unlike muses, I'm gonna score you on these gifts.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I think we'll do like task Master style. We'll do
- 16:54Speaker 1: like five points, four points, three points, two points to
- 16:57Speaker 1: kick things off. All right, So we will begin with
- 17:02Speaker 1: Order's gift for Jen.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I have this gift.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Oh, you premise set up? Yes, this is the task
- 17:09Speaker 1: I gave them was to find a gift that costs
- 17:11Speaker 1: less than five dollars, because obviously anyone can just buy
- 17:14Speaker 1: a gift that that could just happen. Anyone could just
- 17:16Speaker 1: oh yeah, it's twenty five dollars for something exciting. It's
- 17:19Speaker 1: hard in this economy to buy something for less than
- 17:22Speaker 1: five dollars, So the following gifts must all have been
- 17:25Speaker 1: less than five dollars. Oh, it doesn't sound too comfortable.
- 17:31Speaker 2: What I will say? I did shenan again. Hey whoa again?
- 17:39Speaker 1: Okay, we'll wait and see what.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Yes, againand again and again and again. Chocolate.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I'm holding a box from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
- 17:51Speaker 2: A delicious.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I don't know if they put a sticker.
- 17:54Speaker 2: They put a sticker on it.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Presence gifts.
- 18:01Speaker 2: I was just like, rip it, kind of child, so same.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Sick.
- 18:07Speaker 2: That is a ton of fun, A lot of this
- 18:10Speaker 2: is a full pound of fudge.
- 18:12Speaker 3: It's not five.
- 18:14Speaker 5: The Shenanigan. I took a photo with it in the
- 18:17Speaker 5: Rocky Mountain Factory.
- 18:19Speaker 3: That's our head.
- 18:20Speaker 1: That's a pound of fudge.
- 18:21Speaker 5: Our real estate agent sent us a buy one, get
- 18:24Speaker 5: one free one pound of fudge.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Another technical pound of fudge in your house.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Yes, this cost me zero dollars because it was free
- 18:36Speaker 2: pound of fudgs.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Honestly, thank you this because I'm gonna be the one
- 18:41Speaker 4: eating that gen doesn't want to. I'm just gonna eat
- 18:45Speaker 4: it before.
- 18:46Speaker 5: You're just getting there first. A pound of fudge at
- 18:50Speaker 5: the Rocky Mountin Chocolate factory is like eighteen bucks.
- 18:54Speaker 3: So even split in half, it's nine.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but it was my free pound of fudge.
- 19:00Speaker 1: That's okay. I used to loophole I have.
- 19:04Speaker 2: I have, and I'm hoping that the Christmas spirit will
- 19:06Speaker 2: allow it.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I'll hear everyone else's and then we'll say, Okay, see
- 19:10Speaker 1: how hog points to me. That's a good loophole, so
- 19:15Speaker 1: we I'll first gift a pound of.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Two Lumberjack slams. You're so right? Did you get me
- 19:22Speaker 3: a Lumberjack slam for Christmas? I just shoved it all
- 19:25Speaker 3: into bed.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Two days ago because.
- 19:31Speaker 1: I got it.
- 19:33Speaker 3: There's nothing more divorced dead than leftover. Okay, let's move.
- 19:38Speaker 1: On over to those divorced dads. Jason, have you got
- 19:41Speaker 1: a gift for Chris?
- 19:41Speaker 3: I do have a gift for you, So I Shenanigans,
- 19:44Speaker 3: but mine is well well, okay, good. So I freaked out,
- 19:48Speaker 3: like five bucks on Amazon? What am I going to
- 19:50Speaker 3: fucking get? I'm too busy and high for the next
- 19:52Speaker 3: couple of days ago we do anything. So I got
- 19:56Speaker 3: we were talking about this. I got you a little
- 19:58Speaker 3: key chain each, oh ship. I got myself a Gojo
- 20:02Speaker 3: key chain. So these together were like buck something so
- 20:05Speaker 3: split there like four fifty. So that's so sick.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Yeah, we're literally just talking about how we're gonna dress
- 20:11Speaker 4: up as these characters. Yeah, next next year for help.
- 20:14Speaker 1: What's the what's the anime? Juju Kaisen? Yeah, JK, what's it?
- 20:19Speaker 1: What's it about?
- 20:20Speaker 3: So it's about demons and hell and stuff. But these
- 20:22Speaker 3: guys are the classic frenemies, just like me and Jason.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:29Speaker 3: It's very because it's very Magneto Professor xter like the
- 20:34Speaker 3: best of buds, and then they turn into moral enemies
- 20:39Speaker 3: God and I will sick. It's very double Door Grindelwald
- 20:43Speaker 3: very another thing.
- 20:45Speaker 2: It's very alpha ga.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Yeah, little move Foster's scar. Maybe with the new movie
- 20:54Speaker 3: This is I love that, this is This is super sick.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that's cool work as well.
- 20:59Speaker 3: Yeah, boys, that's also us just a couple of just
- 21:05Speaker 3: greade a yeers.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Podcast. Thank you for yapping in my direction. Okay, back
- 21:12Speaker 1: on over to the Carol of the Nine Hells, Jen,
- 21:16Speaker 1: what is your gift for Audra? That costs less than
- 21:18Speaker 1: five dollars.
- 21:19Speaker 2: They go, oh my gosh.
- 21:21Speaker 5: For the listeners at home, it's in an adorable bag
- 21:24Speaker 5: and there is like doodled mistletoe and holly on it.
- 21:29Speaker 5: Oh yeah, because mistletoe has white berries, holly has red
- 21:33Speaker 5: I know, my lore.
- 21:36Speaker 3: My god, it.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Isn't it thing? So it's a cowl? Oh my god? Yes?
- 21:48Speaker 3: What?
- 21:49Speaker 1: Oh?
- 21:49Speaker 2: Then it's like it looks like you're wearing a shawl,
- 21:52Speaker 2: but you're not going around your whole what that was
- 21:56Speaker 2: three dollars thrifted yarn nice and the urn was for
- 22:00Speaker 2: free and I don't pay myself. Yeah, is also free,
- 22:05Speaker 2: so that is a three dollars scar.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Look, I don't pay myself for the labor of editing
- 22:11Speaker 1: this podcast, so I totally get it.
- 22:14Speaker 2: He's so happy.
- 22:15Speaker 3: That's why I.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Asked if your sensitive tool. That's because that's a very
- 22:18Speaker 2: wooly wool. But I put it on and it was.
- 22:21Speaker 2: It was comfortable to me, and I washed it with
- 22:23Speaker 2: some we'll wash a little bit. I love it.
- 22:26Speaker 1: It looks like the signature I am the cartoon character would.
- 22:29Speaker 5: Oh my god, I have one of the sweaters that
- 22:34Speaker 5: I'm working on. I specifically designed I was like, I
- 22:37Speaker 5: was like, I want this to feel like, uh, like
- 22:39Speaker 5: a cartoon character's uniform.
- 22:41Speaker 2: So that feels great to me.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Nice, that's so cozy. That's such a good gift. Nice.
- 22:48Speaker 3: And yeah, I.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Respect going three dollars for thrifted young y. Yes, whole
- 22:53Speaker 1: two dollars left off spec Yeah.
- 22:55Speaker 2: God, what are you gonna get with your extra? I
- 22:57Speaker 2: let myself think that I got paid two dollars.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Let's not work out how much that would be an hour? Okay,
- 23:08Speaker 1: back on over to the quadruple the Chris, what is
- 23:12Speaker 1: your gift for Jason? That costs less than five dollars?
- 23:17Speaker 3: Technically it was free because they were pre owned and.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Pre Loveday overthink gifts a lot and five dollars and
- 23:29Speaker 4: I overthink, and so I was like, you know what,
- 23:31Speaker 4: I'll just give him some of the.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Thinks some things that uh so nice? Right good they are?
- 23:39Speaker 2: I love that we all went to different directions.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Sick, oh sick? Oh nice? Okay, I love this by
- 23:47Speaker 3: Frank Herbert. We've been trying to get into reading more lately.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Just lately we've got Dune by Frank Herbert.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Uh huh what is this?
- 23:57Speaker 2: Range? I was like, oh, my God, it's it's Roman.
- 24:03Speaker 3: God, it's Roman Rides. That's it.
- 24:06Speaker 1: That was it.
- 24:08Speaker 3: You know.
- 24:09Speaker 4: I started reading Dune like five times and I never
- 24:11Speaker 4: got past like the fourth chapter. So I think it's
- 24:13Speaker 4: time to give this back.
- 24:16Speaker 3: What's so funny is I brought the book I was
- 24:18Speaker 3: talking about the Star Wars one by Chris Taylor, Star
- 24:20Speaker 3: Wars Company. It's in my backpack to bring to you.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Oh shit, exchange. I did sign the front, read the inscription.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Read the inscription. It says I'll see your Triple d's
- 24:36Speaker 3: at home, but it says Merry Christmas, Jason. I have
- 24:42Speaker 3: bad handwriting all trades. Tim Shallitt's has never been better
- 24:45Speaker 3: than in the source material. Oh nice? Signed out for myself.
- 24:50Speaker 4: I think I put hotter, but better is probably better anyways, Oh.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Hotter, yep, you did I have. I'm I'm so sorry.
- 24:58Speaker 3: I'm so insecure right now.
- 25:02Speaker 1: No, this is fantastic. I like the idea that you
- 25:07Speaker 1: also you were like, you know what, this classic novel
- 25:09Speaker 1: isn't enough. I need to throw in a tiny Roman.
- 25:13Speaker 3: It's just not A Dune is just never enough as
- 25:15Speaker 3: itself to stand alone gift. I'm so excited. You have
- 25:19Speaker 3: to throw tiny Roman rings in there. Nice. Yeah, it's
- 25:23Speaker 3: like a little nice what you got?
- 25:30Speaker 2: Sorry, don't tell me like that.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Oh, this is now so difficult to have to score
- 25:35Speaker 1: these because these are all really good gifts. These are
- 25:38Speaker 1: all really good gifts. Some of them are very clever,
- 25:41Speaker 1: some of them, some of them are very sweet.
- 25:43Speaker 5: Feel free to dock me for my excessive shenanigans. The
- 25:48Speaker 5: real gift, the real thing to me, is not the points.
- 25:51Speaker 5: It's the fact that I got to give my friend
- 25:52Speaker 5: a pound of fudge. I don't care about the points.
- 25:58Speaker 1: All right, then, I think, cause you're offering that, and
- 26:01Speaker 1: because everyone everyone else took to the five dollars, I think, yeah, Aldre,
- 26:07Speaker 1: you get two points, you fudge your fun.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Technically it was free, but I see what you're saying.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Then, for kind of similar reasons, I'm going to give
- 26:19Speaker 1: Chris three points in that like great gift. But at
- 26:22Speaker 1: the end of the day, you went, I'm going to
- 26:24Speaker 1: stand up and see what has a value of less
- 26:26Speaker 1: than five dollars.
- 26:28Speaker 3: That's fair, that's fair, that's fair. This was nine yeah,
- 26:31Speaker 3: but that was like a decade ago, so I feel like.
- 26:34Speaker 2: So now it's like twenty five dollars, appreciated.
- 26:37Speaker 3: If anything, you know, it's used, you wrote it. Yeah,
- 26:42Speaker 3: we did have other thoughts.
- 26:43Speaker 4: Of like buying a twenty dollars bottle of wine and
- 26:45Speaker 4: then pouring out like recorders of it and giving you
- 26:49Speaker 4: only a five dollars.
- 26:50Speaker 2: It was like to give someone a portion of something.
- 26:53Speaker 2: So if it was a twenty dollars value, pour it
- 26:55Speaker 2: all out, put it in force and put the one
- 26:57Speaker 2: fourth back and be like, that's five dollars.
- 27:01Speaker 5: I considering doing that and only giving you the half
- 27:05Speaker 5: pounds much because technically if both of them together cost
- 27:10Speaker 5: eighteen dollars in half of that, and then I just
- 27:13Speaker 5: thought it would be funnier.
- 27:14Speaker 3: You might have gotten more points if I would have.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely with that wine bottle idea.
- 27:19Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so good.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Yeah, And I'm going to get four points to Jason
- 27:24Speaker 1: for the key rings. It's very thoughtful, very specific to
- 27:28Speaker 1: a thing between the two of you right now, So
- 27:30Speaker 1: that's very sweet and also clever to split the item.
- 27:33Speaker 1: But the five points are going to go for Jen.
- 27:35Speaker 1: It's a homemade gifts and it's so gorgeous under budget.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Budget.
- 27:42Speaker 1: So if we agree that labor laws are bad, well,
- 27:46Speaker 1: like the what's.
- 27:47Speaker 3: The minimum wage in Colorado?
- 27:50Speaker 1: Apparently about fourteen cents?
- 27:52Speaker 3: Well ship, dude guy a matinee ticket stubbed Aquaman is
- 27:56Speaker 3: a bookmark the best part seven pages in pages out
- 28:05Speaker 3: of eight hundred. Now that's how far I got it.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Just that day. The last time that Chris attempted Dune.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Yes twenty eighteen. What was the show was Accerman who's
- 28:15Speaker 3: at three five pm?
- 28:17Speaker 2: He stopped reading doing at three h four. Aman was
- 28:21Speaker 2: too good. I'm not going back to Dune.
- 28:23Speaker 3: Jason was on the screen. Okay, I can't be reading
- 28:27Speaker 3: like a nerd.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Then Jason Momoa goes on to be in Dune. Oh
- 28:32Speaker 5: my god, so hot, full sir, honestly, Duncan Idaho, Duncan
- 28:40Speaker 5: and Paul the two names I love to hear the
- 28:42Speaker 5: most in space.
- 28:43Speaker 2: And if you really want to go more degrees of separation,
- 28:46Speaker 2: Jason Momoa is than in the Fast series, which is
- 28:49Speaker 2: also where the Rock is, and the Rock canonically is
- 28:53Speaker 2: a tribal whatever with Roman reins.
- 28:59Speaker 4: So you're saying we need more or points.
- 29:01Speaker 2: No, I'm just I was just doing the Kevin like.
- 29:06Speaker 4: For real rock and uh, Roman reigns watched jud You
- 29:11Speaker 4: two guys together, their family gets together.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely do definitely, definitely.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Okay, friends, that was some some beautiful gift giving there.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I'm feeling inspired by it. It was a stealth meuse segment, gasp.
- 29:34Speaker 1: But now it's time to do what we've we've come
- 29:36Speaker 1: here for, which is to play some Christmas games. So
- 29:40Speaker 1: game one is a Christmas classic. We're gonna play charades,
- 29:45Speaker 1: charades charades or freedom gestures, whatever you call it. It's
- 29:55Speaker 1: like freedom fries, yeah, except except I think just doing
- 29:59Speaker 1: gestures would be tear arable podcasting. So we're going to
- 30:02Speaker 1: play audio charats, okay, to keep things interesting. Hey, if
- 30:10Speaker 1: this is gasworthy content, y'all can keep gasping instruction.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Oh my god, my god.
- 30:17Speaker 1: So, in turn, I will give our players the name
- 30:19Speaker 1: of a film. They then have the opportunity to make
- 30:23Speaker 1: three unique sounds in order for their teammate to correctly
- 30:27Speaker 1: guess that film. Your teammate is allowed to guess after
- 30:31Speaker 1: every sound, and the more points for the fewer sounds
- 30:34Speaker 1: you need to hear. But this time, because films are
- 30:37Speaker 1: so nebulus compared to when we've played this. For like,
- 30:39Speaker 1: one specific character in the past. You're not allowed to
- 30:42Speaker 1: attempt the same noise again. I'd like to hear a
- 30:44Speaker 1: different noise each time to try and convey a Schmorga's
- 30:48Speaker 1: board of noises. Your sounds can't be words, and you know,
- 30:54Speaker 1: films have a lot of elements, so you can explore
- 30:56Speaker 1: different angles of this. So hopefully by all three sounds,
- 30:59Speaker 1: your teammates gets gets it. And for this first pass,
- 31:02Speaker 1: they're all going to be big films from twenty twenty four.
- 31:05Speaker 1: To kind of narrow it down just a little.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Bit, Dodger Christmas fabs.
- 31:11Speaker 1: That'll be the next pass. This one is just this
- 31:14Speaker 1: one's just twenty twenty four films.
- 31:16Speaker 3: At the end of the year.
- 31:17Speaker 2: We're going topical to the year.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes, new movies.
- 31:26Speaker 2: I've seen one. Yeah, yeah, I've seen a total of
- 31:30Speaker 2: one movies. It was a week ago.
- 31:33Speaker 6: Movies.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Oh my god, say yeah movies.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Yes, you heard me, fight me.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Okay, So we're going to begin with Audra for Jen
- 31:43Speaker 1: is going to be making sounds for Jen to guess.
- 31:45Speaker 1: So therefore Jen is the only person who cannot see
- 31:47Speaker 1: the name of this and has already covered her eyes.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Okay, okay, So there is the name. Look again, Jen
- 31:58Speaker 1: and Odra, when you are ready, make your first sound. Okay,
- 32:04Speaker 1: is that the sound?
- 32:05Speaker 3: No?
- 32:07Speaker 1: Ah, okay, that's the sound. We got a sound back.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Any thoughts on that, Jen, We're happy.
- 32:16Speaker 2: I don't know what's out there and what came out
- 32:19Speaker 2: this year. Wild Robot came out.
- 32:23Speaker 1: It's not Wild Robot. I feel like that's a good
- 32:25Speaker 1: guess though. That was that was this year.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Yeah, robots making cute noises.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Yeah, that sounded like a cute robot. Actually, yeah.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Yeah, check out my voice reel that's gonna come out.
- 32:34Speaker 1: In Okay, if you'd like to give another sound, it
- 32:39Speaker 1: can't be the same as your last sound.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Oh that too, Yeah, you're runing for joy with the
- 32:52Speaker 2: first one.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I forgot that movie came out as your same Well,
- 32:58Speaker 3: there you go.
- 32:58Speaker 1: I think I think at times I'm have recalled in
- 33:00Speaker 1: the highest gross in film of the year as well. Okay,
- 33:04Speaker 1: next up, we're gonna have Chris making sounds for Jason.
- 33:08Speaker 1: You see that, Chris, can you see that far?
- 33:11Speaker 3: Yeah? I can see it. I can see it.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, you can look Jason now, Chris, whenever you're ready,
- 33:21Speaker 1: make your first sound for this movie.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Okay, okay, well we'll go with this one first.
- 33:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Nice, that's a great sound. Huh, that's a really good sound.
- 33:41Speaker 5: That's an incredible sound that yes, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 33:45Speaker 5: yeah yeah.
- 33:47Speaker 3: I think I think Godzilla Minus one came out last year,
- 33:51Speaker 3: but I think Godzilla Versus Kong or whatever the fuck
- 33:55Speaker 3: happened this year because I think I watched the movie
- 33:57Speaker 3: this year.
- 33:58Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure there was one.
- 33:59Speaker 3: God's not Godzilla verses Calm, but it's like Godzilla and
- 34:02Speaker 3: cong versus. Sure, well it's not the fourth one.
- 34:06Speaker 1: It's not that one. But that's a good guess because
- 34:07Speaker 1: that was that was this. Yeah, okay, I can see
- 34:10Speaker 1: how you got to that.
- 34:10Speaker 3: I can Yeah, I can see that. Now.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Now's the difficult thing of coming up with other sounds
- 34:14Speaker 1: for a movie you've not seen. If if in doubt,
- 34:20Speaker 1: what sounds would you associate with this movie or think too.
- 34:26Speaker 4: I'm just thinking of like the soundtrack of what it
- 34:28Speaker 4: probably is and like, but I feel like if I
- 34:33Speaker 4: just like made that off of an assumption it it's
- 34:35Speaker 4: gonna come off in an untasteful way.
- 34:40Speaker 3: There I'm talking too much. I'm sorry, I'm not giving
- 34:46Speaker 3: something separate.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no more clused only sounds.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Sorry, sorry, I'm processing no say because the movie I
- 35:01Speaker 3: had mine has nothing, has no Chris.
- 35:04Speaker 1: The sound that you just just came out of your
- 35:05Speaker 1: mouth was incredible.
- 35:08Speaker 4: But if I would, if I knew the movie, I
- 35:10Speaker 4: would be so good at this. Okay, second second noise, nice.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Ching ching ching ching, that's a noise.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Don't laugh and look at me when Oh god, no, Jason,
- 35:27Speaker 3: that was the sound of of maybe blades. Maybe is
- 35:30Speaker 3: what we were hearing. Hey, I'm not going to give
- 35:32Speaker 3: any what's the new movie is gonna be?
- 35:35Speaker 2: Uh?
- 35:36Speaker 7: What the no?
- 35:38Speaker 2: I feel?
- 35:38Speaker 3: Because the first one is that a sandworm that you
- 35:42Speaker 3: were doing? The first one is a dune too.
- 35:44Speaker 1: It's done pop too.
- 35:47Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 35:48Speaker 2: I immediately thought of the soundtrack, where's.
- 35:53Speaker 3: That's exactly what I was thinking of. But I was like,
- 35:55Speaker 3: if I just try to make up some.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know the actual melody that that voice us.
- 36:00Speaker 2: It's just gonna be like it's tricksy quick, yeah.
- 36:04Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, could I just technically it's a made up
- 36:09Speaker 4: language lines, it's really just noise our lines.
- 36:16Speaker 3: If not just noise? Man, what is word exactly?
- 36:21Speaker 2: All right?
- 36:22Speaker 3: Good stuff?
- 36:22Speaker 1: Two points there sounds I'm not going to count the
- 36:25Speaker 1: dog noise you made.
- 36:28Speaker 3: You're welcome. So I saw that you were like submitting that,
- 36:31Speaker 3: and I was like, there's no dogs in Ordra.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Would you like to cub your eyes as you will
- 36:37Speaker 1: be guessing? Uh, this movie, the general will be making
- 36:40Speaker 1: it sounds.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Oh I didn't know that was no clues. No clues.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Okay, so you can look Ultra, it is Wicked. That
- 36:56Speaker 1: was a sound. This is Wicked.
- 36:58Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 37:00Speaker 3: I didn't realize Wicked was going to be a part one.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a part one. It's the full act one,
- 37:06Speaker 2: so it ends on.
- 37:07Speaker 3: It's gonna be three.
- 37:08Speaker 2: There'll be two a two act situation, so that's familiar.
- 37:12Speaker 2: It ends on defying gravity, the moving Yeah, the like
- 37:18Speaker 2: not story arcs.
- 37:19Speaker 3: I messed up so hard on uh, the duality of Clicked.
- 37:24Speaker 3: I watched Gladiator too. I should have watched Wicked.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Ah.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I've only heard like mediocre to bad things
- 37:30Speaker 1: about Gladia too, But everyone seems to have liked Wicked,
- 37:33Speaker 1: which is.
- 37:33Speaker 3: So interesting because I was not enticed by the trailers
- 37:35Speaker 3: of Wicked at all. I was like Arian Grande, I
- 37:37Speaker 3: just don't buy she's impressive.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Everything that you know about that she's an intense theater kid.
- 37:45Speaker 2: She's been singing this ship since day one. She has
- 37:48Speaker 2: acting chops. She literally was a child actor.
- 37:51Speaker 5: Like everything that you're like, I don't know if I
- 37:53Speaker 5: want to see Ariana Grande for these reasons is the
- 37:56Speaker 5: exact point so much that was.
- 37:59Speaker 3: The trailers, how she presented them.
- 38:01Speaker 2: The trailers, I was like, that's just very that's just
- 38:04Speaker 2: Glinda the good that's like, that is her playing the
- 38:07Speaker 2: role of like you kind of have to, like someone
- 38:10Speaker 2: described it of like if you don't like Wizard of Oz,
- 38:12Speaker 2: it's not like you won't like Wicked, but you may
- 38:14Speaker 2: bring in some of those preconceived things, but the whole
- 38:17Speaker 2: point is like a villagion, villagion villain origin story.
- 38:24Speaker 3: I wanted to watch Wicked for so long in some way,
- 38:26Speaker 3: shape or form, but this stage.
- 38:28Speaker 5: Is I was initially trepidacious because I was like, oh,
- 38:34Speaker 5: but do we really need to make this two movies?
- 38:36Speaker 5: And then I thought about it after watching the part
- 38:41Speaker 5: one and was like, oh yeah. My only criticism is
- 38:43Speaker 5: that there was too many themes for this amount of time,
- 38:47Speaker 5: and so making it into two parts, I was like,
- 38:51Speaker 5: oh no, we can actually.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Excess time exploring that a thing is like Wicked is
- 38:57Speaker 2: all about the oppression of capital a animals. They're losing
- 39:01Speaker 2: their voices. Alpha Buzz looked at and oppressed because she
- 39:06Speaker 2: has green skin. It's it's an allegory for anyone who's
- 39:08Speaker 2: been othered or marginalized. And you have to get through
- 39:12Speaker 2: a lot of the early Act one songs to get
- 39:16Speaker 2: the like framing of how we get to act too,
- 39:20Speaker 2: where we'll sink more into that. But if we were
- 39:23Speaker 2: rushing through, because the stage time is two hours and
- 39:27Speaker 2: forty about, so everyone's like, your Act one is literally
- 39:29Speaker 2: the length of the original stage and it's like, yes,
- 39:32Speaker 2: but we're chopping it up into scenes that you're used
- 39:35Speaker 2: to from a stage presentation versus a movie that you
- 39:38Speaker 2: need to have those transitions and through lines because if
- 39:40Speaker 2: we were it would look like jump cuts if you
- 39:43Speaker 2: were watching a movie the same way as stage play
- 39:45Speaker 2: is presented. And what's funny is some people were giving
- 39:48Speaker 2: it the theme of like it's already too jumpy, and
- 39:51Speaker 2: it's like, well, let's congrats, we're gonna cut it down
- 39:55Speaker 2: to an hour and a half. Guess what it would
- 39:57Speaker 2: have been even jumpier, Like we kind of need to
- 40:00Speaker 2: sit in all of that and still have the big
- 40:03Speaker 2: and the last one point I will say is that
- 40:06Speaker 2: the director is John Chu Crazy Verce Agents in the
- 40:09Speaker 2: Heights Step Up two. He was that was his directorial debut,
- 40:14Speaker 2: so it has done very wonderfully. From that perspective as well.
- 40:19Speaker 2: I think the director was like the right director for it.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I was.
- 40:24Speaker 4: I didn't see Dune two, which was apparently an amazing movie,
- 40:28Speaker 4: but this Wicked was like my favorite movie going experience,
- 40:31Speaker 4: and I can't remember how long. It was so much
- 40:34Speaker 4: fun and I wasn't like I didn't have high expectations
- 40:37Speaker 4: going into it. I had good, almost zero expectations, and
- 40:41Speaker 4: it was very good. Yeah, it's a good time.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Okay, Jason. Now ITA's time for your your film, your
- 40:47Speaker 1: sounds to make.
- 40:48Speaker 3: So Chris, thank you. Oh nice.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Nothing else the way apart from reactions and Chris, you
- 40:59Speaker 1: can look again. And Jason, whenever you already make your
- 41:02Speaker 1: first noise.
- 41:04Speaker 3: I'm gonna try to make this as one continuous noise.
- 41:09Speaker 3: Mm hmmmmmm mmmmm.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Let's there. There were dips in that which made me
- 41:19Speaker 1: think it wasn't quite one.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Let's that's hard.
- 41:25Speaker 4: All I can think of is what you just hummed
- 41:28Speaker 4: was very similar to the Thanksgiving song.
- 41:31Speaker 3: That Gene Filcher wrote in a Bobs Berger's episode that
- 41:36Speaker 3: we watched yesterday.
- 41:40Speaker 4: That I can think of Burger's movie, which came out
- 41:45Speaker 4: last year. It's not that damn damn. The other noise
- 41:50Speaker 4: I can make, and I'm so bad at this noise
- 41:53Speaker 4: is and it is a noise overhead.
- 42:06Speaker 3: That was me trying to make it a noise. But
- 42:07Speaker 3: that's about as good as my impression of that's that's
- 42:10Speaker 3: basically what he said.
- 42:13Speaker 2: Yeah, well like it.
- 42:14Speaker 3: It's a line, but it was the inflections though that. Yeah,
- 42:19Speaker 3: it's Gambit saying woo, I'm about to make a name
- 42:22Speaker 3: for myself right here, but in a Cajun accent by
- 42:26Speaker 3: chanting a really bad Channing Tatum bacsion.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so that was layers. That was layers.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Yeah, that from what I understand, it's apparently a good
- 42:36Speaker 3: Cajun accent. Is it really? Apparently by creoles like by
- 42:39Speaker 3: other creoles, Like that's what a Cajun accent is. But
- 42:42Speaker 3: also I don't even need to hear that from that,
- 42:47Speaker 3: I don't think they're giving themselves enough credit.
- 42:52Speaker 2: You don't have to accept Channing Tatum because they don't.
- 42:55Speaker 3: Have to say that the good cartoons is just like
- 42:57Speaker 3: a like a like a Southern draw a kind of
- 43:00Speaker 3: like accentuated, And according to Channing Tatum, that's a true blue,
- 43:05Speaker 3: authentic Louisiana.
- 43:07Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 43:08Speaker 6: I'm not.
- 43:09Speaker 3: That was me trying to hum live in uh Madonna's
- 43:13Speaker 3: Living on a Prayer. I didn't know which part was
- 43:17Speaker 3: most iconic. Okay, gotcha that I could sing in one
- 43:21Speaker 3: just gone by? I should have done. I should have
- 43:25Speaker 3: good idea.
- 43:25Speaker 4: Chris Lore, we did like a prayer in my college
- 43:29Speaker 4: glee club at our very Christian university. Because we're like guys,
- 43:33Speaker 4: they'll think it's about praying, but it's actually about.
- 43:38Speaker 2: A camp counselor very seriously at a youth Christian camp.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Dead on talent. I an interpretive dance to like a prayer.
- 43:46Speaker 3: Well, that was just it's fun. That was just what
- 43:49Speaker 3: those times were like. That just shows exactly so that
- 43:52Speaker 3: it just shows that we were right.
- 43:55Speaker 2: This is a spot that exists.
- 43:59Speaker 3: If it has prayer in the name. All other context
- 44:02Speaker 3: of the song is yep is disregarded.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Such a lame attempt at grooming, so fundamentally lame. That's
- 44:12Speaker 1: the worst part of it. Okay, should we do another
- 44:15Speaker 1: past of that? Do you want to do? I've been
- 44:20Speaker 1: impressed by your sounds, so let's let's keep it rolling.
- 44:23Speaker 1: This time, we're going to do Christmas movies. Okay, so
- 44:26Speaker 1: not twenty twenty four, just Christmas movies as your category.
- 44:29Speaker 1: And first it's going to be uldra for Jen back today,
- 44:32Speaker 1: I'll just.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Start humming Christmas music and all of us go.
- 44:37Speaker 1: I do possibly, I think embargo on the music this round.
- 44:40Speaker 1: I'd like to hear noises please, okay, because most of
- 44:44Speaker 1: the things are just kind of like lyrics that you're
- 44:46Speaker 1: kind of changing, and I feel like you can do
- 44:48Speaker 1: that with Yeah, where's.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Your okay, yep, yep, this is what I was I
- 44:55Speaker 2: was genuinely hoping for this one. Okay, Okay, that's good.
- 44:58Speaker 3: I feel like that's got to be one of the
- 44:59Speaker 3: easiest ones to do.
- 45:01Speaker 1: I don't know, all right, whenever you're ready to think
- 45:04Speaker 1: of anything, your first noise.
- 45:10Speaker 3: That's awesome, that's awesome.
- 45:16Speaker 1: Any guesses, Jen?
- 45:20Speaker 2: Okay?
- 45:21Speaker 5: Because I could have done a longer one, more information,
- 45:25Speaker 5: but I just decided I was like, no, the shortest
- 45:28Speaker 5: possible version of this clue.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Okay, I'm just gonna throw one out. It's not that
- 45:33Speaker 2: you want an answer from me. It's not what I
- 45:35Speaker 2: actually think it is. But we'll just say the Santa
- 45:37Speaker 2: Claus and I want to hear the second one.
- 45:39Speaker 1: It's time for the second one. Yeah, it's not the
- 45:41Speaker 1: Santa Claus.
- 45:41Speaker 5: Okay, I can't just do a different version of that, right, No,
- 45:48Speaker 5: it's going to be a different yeah, Okay, after this,
- 45:51Speaker 5: i'd love to hear what that noise was meant to represent.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Well, that's so technically, I can do whatever the fuck
- 45:59Speaker 2: I want. If you don't know what it was.
- 46:04Speaker 1: I suppose Yeah, you'll find the loopholes.
- 46:08Speaker 2: I'll sacrifice the points. I don't know. The thing is.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I don't know if I could.
- 46:13Speaker 3: Do it better. That's just the same noise again. Hold on,
- 46:17Speaker 3: let me, let me try to get.
- 46:19Speaker 2: I want to try, but it's not going to be better.
- 46:23Speaker 3: Yep, that's the game.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Please don't hate me as friends. Please don't socially exclude me.
- 46:30Speaker 2: Please don't mock me.
- 46:31Speaker 1: That's what we're gonna tell you of whether you made
- 46:34Speaker 1: a game a sound wrong in a silly game.
- 46:37Speaker 3: Dude? Can you believe that she literally said and went.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was met with mockery and duration.
- 46:52Speaker 3: Okay, hold on, but we like not counting that as words.
- 47:01Speaker 1: I know that's the nonsense. That's that's the taking the
- 47:03Speaker 1: idea of a character and then adding nonsense to tune,
- 47:07Speaker 1: plus the nonsense which adds like double clue to it.
- 47:10Speaker 2: I was trying to remove all consonants.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Sure, no, I think I now have a clearer image
- 47:16Speaker 1: of what you're you're trying to do. And Jenet's not
- 47:18Speaker 1: the star Wars.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Okay, the first one sounded like chewy, in the second
- 47:21Speaker 2: one sounded so in the Christmas special.
- 47:26Speaker 3: But those are the two not cold.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. Can you make a third and final noise?
- 47:34Speaker 5: Well, I'm gonna make a third and final noise there.
- 47:38Speaker 5: It's gonna be anything reasonable.
- 47:41Speaker 3: That's not it. So you can make noises chewy sho yoda.
- 47:51Speaker 5: I've never tried to do this impression before in my life,
- 47:54Speaker 5: but let's fucking go.
- 47:59Speaker 2: No, I can't.
- 48:00Speaker 3: I can't.
- 48:04Speaker 5: Be a bit of Christmas, genuinely having a whole fucking conneption.
- 48:10Speaker 1: First time conniption has been said on the podcast.
- 48:13Speaker 2: It's not words. Okay, the more I build it, the worst.
- 48:18Speaker 4: It is.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Even closer to words than the last one. That's actually
- 48:37Speaker 2: a great noise, though fantastic in the contexts.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Can you combine those noises together, it gives you the
- 48:45Speaker 1: imagery of.
- 48:45Speaker 3: I was that was what you were going to go for? Really? Yes,
- 48:48Speaker 3: that was that was my hope. I can see that.
- 48:51Speaker 3: I could see that, and he nailed it.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Got a glorified sigh sound, a yodel esque sound. Yeah,
- 49:02Speaker 2: and something that had a bit of like like inflection
- 49:08Speaker 2: to it. Yeah, I had something I have no fucking.
- 49:13Speaker 3: So reasonable.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Hey, look Home Alone is a Christmas movie.
- 49:17Speaker 2: The correct answer was a Carol after I fucking said
- 49:20Speaker 2: the muppets around the Yeah, that was heartbreak.
- 49:24Speaker 4: Had not give it away, and you just said it
- 49:27Speaker 4: without guess I even look.
- 49:29Speaker 3: You in the That was right.
- 49:31Speaker 2: I just somehow my brain was there and not there
- 49:34Speaker 2: at the same time.
- 49:35Speaker 5: I had it the I think one of the things
- 49:39Speaker 5: for me on the first one is I had it
- 49:41Speaker 5: in my mind that I couldn't take a I couldn't
- 49:44Speaker 5: break sound, that it was continuous sound, and so I
- 49:48Speaker 5: only made a like a meat I tried to do
- 49:53Speaker 5: that because I was like, there can't be a break
- 49:55Speaker 5: in the sound. And then so then I tried kermit again.
- 49:58Speaker 2: It was just a yodel and.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Yoda, but hey, Frank Oz Frank yes, And then it
- 50:06Speaker 1: was a Michael Kaine at the end.
- 50:07Speaker 2: Michael, because I was trying. I was thinking, how can
- 50:09Speaker 2: I do Miss Piggy? But I was like, I can't.
- 50:12Speaker 2: I can't try. I can't try to find Miss Piggy
- 50:15Speaker 2: within one sound. That's kind of rude to give it
- 50:19Speaker 2: that man ship. I could have just done that fucking
- 50:22Speaker 2: hell no music and then give her a musical.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:27Speaker 1: Yeah, Look, the Christmas ones are definitely tougher, yeah, than
- 50:31Speaker 1: than the topical ones here. Okay, next we are going
- 50:34Speaker 1: to move over to those quadruple d's we love so much,
- 50:38Speaker 1: absolutely so full.
- 50:40Speaker 4: Of the the all American slam.
- 50:46Speaker 5: Oh yeah, all American yeha.
- 50:51Speaker 1: And this is gonna be Chris making sounds for Jason. Ready,
- 50:55Speaker 1: So Jason, give your eyes.
- 50:59Speaker 3: I don't know why my mouth open when I close
- 51:01Speaker 3: my eyes.
- 51:03Speaker 2: I can unpack that later. I only have one thing.
- 51:07Speaker 3: Close to.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Okay, all right, christ when have you already your first
- 51:16Speaker 1: sound to represent this film?
- 51:19Speaker 3: Okay, continuous? Yeah, I fear that I've not seen this movie.
- 51:31Speaker 4: I didn't do it justice, It's fine. It sounded different
- 51:35Speaker 4: in my head I had coming.
- 51:36Speaker 3: Out of my mouth. It might not be your fault.
- 51:38Speaker 3: I don't know if I've seen this movie or remember
- 51:40Speaker 3: this scene in a movie like that.
- 51:42Speaker 1: I think it was a good sound I but I
- 51:45Speaker 1: can also see how it would be tough.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Because it sounds wise. It sounds like a person being
- 51:50Speaker 3: spun or gyrating in some way, shape or form. And
- 51:55Speaker 3: about those gy writing movies that you know, yep, yep,
- 51:58Speaker 3: so many alter my head. Only half a Witch of Christmas.
- 52:03Speaker 3: But I didn't watch this movie all the way. I
- 52:06Speaker 3: tried watching as an adult, and I hated the first
- 52:08Speaker 3: twenty minutes. Is it a Christmas story?
- 52:11Speaker 1: It's not a Christmas story?
- 52:13Speaker 3: Okay, I'm just sound. I'm just imagining a kid being
- 52:16Speaker 3: flung in circles because that's the kind.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Of happened in that movie.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:20Speaker 4: Probably, yeah, yeah, yeah. That definitely more sounds like a
- 52:25Speaker 4: child in the forties.
- 52:30Speaker 3: Than what I was going for, which is not that Yeah,
- 52:32Speaker 3: biologically a childies is about twenty five. Yeah, exactly, So
- 52:40Speaker 3: another is that it? Nope?
- 52:44Speaker 4: Nope, sorry, sorry, that's just my thinking whistle. It's also
- 52:49Speaker 4: my get Mirabell's attention whistle.
- 52:53Speaker 3: Take your time.
- 52:54Speaker 2: I did like the more we normalize that, the better.
- 53:00Speaker 3: I'm just.
- 53:01Speaker 4: I'm just like blanking on noises that happened within the movie. Now,
- 53:07Speaker 4: sound number two coming right up a little.
- 53:22Speaker 2: I love that ship.
- 53:25Speaker 3: Oh that's tough, man, that's tough.
- 53:28Speaker 6: That was a sound combined the first sounds. So if
- 53:30Speaker 6: you get anything, I mean, that sounds like an elf.
- 53:35Speaker 6: There's many movies with elves. So oh, oh, is it
- 53:39Speaker 6: is it elf? Because it's Buddy doing the carousel. The
- 53:45Speaker 6: spinny door thing? Was that the first thing you were doing?
- 53:47Speaker 6: And then the second thing is like one of the
- 53:50Speaker 6: ranking and bass creatures in the beginning of the movie.
- 53:55Speaker 3: I wasn't sure if I could say, wow, I yes.
- 54:02Speaker 4: Second, as I was about to make a different noise.
- 54:04Speaker 3: I was thinking about I was thinking about if I
- 54:06Speaker 3: had gotten.
- 54:07Speaker 7: So good, I'd been like, yeah, on the same way,
- 54:20Speaker 7: that's so tough about all of those.
- 54:24Speaker 2: Your spinning door was really yeah.
- 54:29Speaker 3: I gave the effect. All of that time was spent
- 54:31Speaker 3: just trying to think of something that happened within the movie,
- 54:34Speaker 3: and I just nothing was coming up.
- 54:37Speaker 2: This's like, you need to watch it again.
- 54:40Speaker 3: It's like it's the time, It's the season.
- 54:42Speaker 1: Is the season? Is the ship? Okay, Yeah, moving back
- 54:48Speaker 1: on over to those carols from the Nine Hells. I'm
- 54:54Speaker 1: on a different page, so I can't read the names anymore,
- 54:56Speaker 1: and I can't hold things in my active memory while
- 54:58Speaker 1: in performance mode. So this it means Oldrey is covering
- 55:03Speaker 1: her eyes. Yes, here is your movie. Okay, Audrey, you
- 55:08Speaker 1: can look that.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Throw something at the wall. Yeah, I did two bad Kurmits.
- 55:13Speaker 2: You can do anything you want.
- 55:17Speaker 3: That's a T shirt.
- 55:19Speaker 1: I did too bad Curmets.
- 55:21Speaker 3: You can do anything you watch out of context. That's awesome. Ah,
- 55:28Speaker 3: that's good.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Okay, that's good.
- 55:30Speaker 3: That's great.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Good sound Okay, is.
- 55:37Speaker 2: I don't know, but I'm gonna go the Santa Claus.
- 55:43Speaker 1: It's not the Santa clause second sound.
- 55:46Speaker 2: All of the good sounds from this movie. We literally
- 55:49Speaker 2: watched it like recently. Our words.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Mmmm, that's it's a tough oneerish if you can mark
- 55:59Speaker 1: of a good movie though, Yeah.
- 56:00Speaker 2: If most of the sounds you can recognize, I'm gonna
- 56:03Speaker 2: try to do this in one contiguous noise.
- 56:08Speaker 3: Mm hm, yes'd that before? Yeah, we have that.
- 56:14Speaker 1: Nope, it wasn't continuous because there was a false and
- 56:19Speaker 1: then there was a note.
- 56:20Speaker 3: That was awesome.
- 56:22Speaker 1: If it comes right, and that's why we play this game.
- 56:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with Home Alone.
- 56:35Speaker 3: Yes, that's crazy.
- 56:38Speaker 2: I thought that after the first.
- 56:40Speaker 5: After the first I said, whichever movie I said, I
- 56:43Speaker 5: don't remember, and then I was like, oh, ship, that's
- 56:47Speaker 5: probably a great sound for Home Alone.
- 56:50Speaker 2: My last one was I was going to get Mirabell
- 56:53Speaker 2: to bark, to do wolf, because I don't think wolf
- 56:56Speaker 2: is a word.
- 56:57Speaker 1: But if I get hurt a wolf, you know she's
- 57:03Speaker 1: she's to every other point.
- 57:06Speaker 2: I really wanted that second one to be the like
- 57:08Speaker 2: you feel the animal, and it just didn't didn't come
- 57:11Speaker 2: on that way. It didn't translate. I could practice it.
- 57:15Speaker 3: I probably could have gotten there, but I immediately just
- 57:18Speaker 3: thought of the gibberish that Joe Peshi speaks when.
- 57:21Speaker 2: He would have counted. You literally watched this last night.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, last up, Jason, you're gonna make sounds.
- 57:36Speaker 3: For Chris Awesome. Okay, hmm, okay.
- 57:40Speaker 1: So we have movie there, Jason, make your first sound
- 57:45Speaker 1: whenever you're ready.
- 57:46Speaker 3: Mar speak.
- 57:49Speaker 1: You trying to ease the li marble, now speak, She's
- 57:53Speaker 1: just gonna.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Kiss, She's gonna think something wrong.
- 57:57Speaker 3: Okay, that's the noise you got it, you go, that's
- 58:00Speaker 3: the noise.
- 58:04Speaker 2: I'm trying to add on there.
- 58:05Speaker 3: Mers Marabell is a paid actress. What are dogs and movies?
- 58:10Speaker 1: Good question?
- 58:12Speaker 2: How many dog movies can you name?
- 58:15Speaker 1: But the first one you say, I will take.
- 58:17Speaker 3: Is the guests.
- 58:20Speaker 4: Snow Buddies. Snow Buddies, I am legend was my second guest.
- 58:26Speaker 3: During Christmas. It's just in the snow, is it not.
- 58:32Speaker 5: One?
- 58:32Speaker 4: No, it's it's airbud but in the snow Christmas.
- 58:39Speaker 3: Got it? We cleaned up our dogs. Okay, so the
- 58:44Speaker 3: the rules are no music, but yes on gibberish. Yes,
- 58:48Speaker 3: if it is gibberish and not words spoken, yes. I
- 58:52Speaker 3: swear to God if someone tells me that this is
- 58:54Speaker 3: like language, I'm gonna be upset because I can't take
- 58:58Speaker 3: it back. Oh who door the Grinch? Thank you? Yeah, First, it.
- 59:06Speaker 1: Is zuicy and gibberis fine, it's technically probably a language.
- 59:11Speaker 1: But I'm also we've been in this game too longime, So.
- 59:16Speaker 5: There we go.
- 59:17Speaker 3: That's two part to do the Grnch when he like
- 59:20Speaker 3: freaks out at the camera, but I have to like
- 59:23Speaker 3: motion that. Yeah. Yeah, that's the whole thing.
- 59:27Speaker 1: This is, this is all about the sound, so thanks,
- 59:30Speaker 1: thanks for sticking to that. For those listening at home
- 59:32Speaker 1: this game, you heard the version that was cut down.
- 59:35Speaker 1: We were here for three hours.
- 59:36Speaker 2: Playing You won't let us leave.
- 59:40Speaker 5: It took me thirty minutes to do that ship Kermit,
- 59:44Speaker 5: he just kept yelling at us.
- 59:46Speaker 3: More sound, do it again? More?
- 59:52Speaker 6: That is me.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Okay, let's have a rummage around in Santa Sack. There's
- 59:56Speaker 1: a Christmas thing and look for the latest scores, goes Ah.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: The Carol of the Nine Hells are on fourteen points,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: but the Divorce Denny's Dinner Dads are on fifteen points.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: Say oh, fifteen, Very Christmas, okay.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Game two is a food game, something we've not been
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: able to do for Gateleapers because we've never been in
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: the same room before. But here we are.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: Look.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Food is an important part of the holidays. We know this,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: and it's an important part of culture and even an
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: important part of pop culture. You may or may not
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: know that twenty twenty four was the year the Oreo
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: and Coke finally decided to synergize.
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: It's been so long waiting, and you've been waiting for this.
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: Everyone wanted that.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: I know everyone was bagging for the collaboration of the century.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: And now it's happened. How ancestors must be so proud
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: of us. So in the hope of becoming something of
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: a pop culture sensation myself, I've tried my hand at
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: some new Oriel collaborations. So in turns, you will be blindfolded.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I know, Marabell, this is terrible. In turns, you will
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: be blindfolded and presented with an Oriel mashup. The mashup
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: will contain two exciting new ingredients. You must name each
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: for a point. You only have to take a bite,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: and you don't even have to finish eating it if
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: you don't want to. We have the gate Leaper's spit
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: bucket here. Oh my god, officially branded merch officially branded.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Don't worry nothing. Everything is edible, everything is food, everything
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: is consumable. It won't be detergent, everything is safe to be.
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: So if you get the two ingredients or one of them,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: you get a point. Per If you eat the whole
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: damn oreole cookie, I will give you a bonus point.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: Oh yes, baby, an extra for eating other people's oreos no.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Only available in your own will play the classic rules
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: What if? What if out the spit bucket.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Kidding, kidding, I who can't look at what cereal about?
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: Gag.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: That's the one thing, gen, that's my one thing. Leave
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: me alone. Cereals gross. It is floating food, and.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: It's floating food. If it floats, no, it has.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: To be soup. All right, it's floating. It better be hot.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: So Ultra, you're gonna eat an oreole first. Yeah, So
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: the risk of sounding too kinky, Jen, could you blindfold
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: Ultra for me.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: I'll take my gloves stuff. I don't feel.
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: This is awesome.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: You feel good? Hould it over your nose.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: Good Lord, your friend.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: I hope you are vaguely nice to me because you
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: know that I can't do these things should be good.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: But let me know if it's not.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: Put an oreo and eat it.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I eat that.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: Matt wishes he put an egg and oreo.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: And I'm going to hand you the bowl with ULDs
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: oreo in that you can then put put the bowl
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: in Uldra's hands. Okay, So, and the only sense I'd
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: like you to use this taste. Obviously smell can come
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: into it, but I'd like you to take a take
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: a bite of the oreo or put the whole oreo
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: in your mouth.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: I'm not going to do that. Do you know my
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: vomiting mobilities. Yeah, I'm going to get a paper towel
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: ready for you.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: And it's just identifying the two ingredients that you wouldn't expect.
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: In a paper it's a paper bowl, sobbe.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: Why direxe.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: Okay, let's fucking go.
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: I'm just gonna say this. I'm taking a bite and
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: then I'm gonna spin it back into the things.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: Please don't look at me.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: While I do look away, such an assumption that it's
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: a bad.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: Thing as well.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: You were okay, you were genuinely kind to me.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: You still spin it out though I did.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: But yeah, it was the panic of it. Okay, peanut
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: butter and jelly.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: It is peanut butter and jelly.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't love jelly, but okay, the secrets.
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: I think it was the I think it was the
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: whole all of the build up that made me immediately gag,
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: even though it was fine, like you're gonna eat peanut.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Butter oreos exist? Yeah, yeah, yes, I'm gonna go.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: For it for our for our team at the point,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: eat the whole oreo. Yeah, what's it taste?
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: Like chocolate peanut butter, like peanut butter and strawberry, or
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: because we have the peanut butter and jelly thing is real,
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: and then the chocolate and peanut butter is real, and
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: then chocolate and strawberry is also chocolate covered strawberry.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: And there are peanut oreos, which peanut butter oreos, which
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: are the best oreos.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Yeah, ever, well, I've never had that oreo A good flight.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Thank you so much for being so kiny.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: We think that no one at the at the Oreo
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: company is thought to put peanut butter and jelly and jelly.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: That's I think they do have an Oreo split like
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: some of those that they do, like this split like
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: chocolate marshmallow thing. They might have a peanut butter and jelly.
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: And we are all getting paid thousands of dollars by
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: Oreo to promote these.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: We've got to say generic sandwich, Yeah, sandwich cooky.
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: We're too far, We're too far in.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Just censor us, like we're saying about, you're.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: All a bunch of oreos.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Okay, all right, I need a fear factor. You can't
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: see me, tongue out, hung on, not quite finished yet.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: Factor is surprisingly long. I learned that on the Pokemon
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: Live episode. It was honestly shocking a little aggressive.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: I'm trying to clean it off because I don't want
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: this is.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: This is a film, this is just I'm filming.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: There we go.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: It was just always in fear factor where they would
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: always just very aggressively when they eat, like the plugs
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: and stuff like, yeah.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: I did it.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Okay, so ultra well done. That's three points.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Here's the massiness.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Yeah, Chris is going to be the next one to
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: eat an oreo. Okay, So Jason, would you like to
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: blindfold Chris?
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: I mean, I think he can do it himself, but
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: I love to if you know. I don't care, just
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: want to encourage rap me.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: Oh, don't break those glasses you just bought them. Oh
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: my god, it looks like you, mister napkinhead.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: You look like a fucked up ninja turtle. Sorry, that
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: was aggressive. I appreciate it, honest I'm cool with that.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: You look.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Oh you look like Judlan or Con.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: I'll take get me out.
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: Hear me out.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: Jude Law as an ninja turtle. Hi dreamcast for the
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: Ronan movie whenever that gets made.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Okay, no clues Jason. Jason is currently holding Chris's the
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: bowl with Chris's oreole cookie in. Can Chris identify? And
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: what tactic is Chris gonna go for You're gonna just
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: take a bite or fine, if I smell it, I'd like,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I'd like swift motion bite. If you're gonna smell it,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: it's gonna be a bite as well.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: Really went for it like it was the body of Christ.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: There's definitely salsa in there, isn't that there's a point
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: for salsa.
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: There's two things.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: There's two things.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: Yeah, in a second, a.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Crazy feeling more grateful as time goes on?
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: Is it like and salsa?
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: It's not too take a second, think of textures.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: Like tortilla, chips and chips and salsa.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: It's not chips. No, no, it's not chips.
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: I'm sorry. What is the other thing in here? I
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: ate it? It's gone.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: You get getting the point for you know? The other
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: thing was sour cream? Yes, a big old dolph of
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: it as well.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: Like you ate the first half.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: I got creamed. You can't even taste sour cream. It
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: was all Also, I was confused at first because it
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: almost like, uh kind of tasted good. Yeah, it was
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: like it was like, this is fine. It felt like
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: just a regular like the regular cream along with salsa.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: Oh, it was a little tangy.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: I guess if I took it, if I went slower,
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: I probably would have noticed that it was a lot
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: wetter than normal.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: But you were like, get this in my max more.
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: Damn.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: I could smell the salsa gumming into it. That sounds
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: kind of spicy. And yeah, honestly, Orio, we should talk
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: to talk about.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: Like they got that cheese it in the middle of
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: front traps. Now we got a big as Yes, Oreo, dud.
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: Dude, you can do what I did and take a
- 1:09:41Speaker 5: bite and then spit it into the Yeah, it's yeah.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: It is gens tons to be blindfolded. Now I can
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: hand you the bowl directly.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: Yes, please kind of have an accessible paper towels.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: The bucket is there as well.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: This is an awesome experience. I highly recommend you do
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: this with your friends at home.
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: I just feels like we got trapped in task Master. Yeah,
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: that's exactly what this is, all right, Wow, just.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Going forward again, that's a big bite immediately big, I
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: can't finish on the face.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I saw it from this No, I can't. I
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: genuinely can't.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: Look it does have mustard. That is one of the
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: you're vile, one of Jen's favorite things in the world.
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: You are really great condiments for other things. Yeah, it's
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: already thought. It's disgusting enough being on, Like the things
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: have to go together.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: How dare I'm going to finish this because I'm not
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: a bitch, because I'm getting a wark.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: We love that. They girl, that's awesome.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: This is like, legitimately pickles one of my favorite things.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: I'll eat them all day long. I will eat pickles,
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: lace potato chips, and then eat three pickles. Like mustard
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: is one of the most vile things to ever exist.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Sure, and then how about mixing oreo with that as well?
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: Honestly, Like, what's getting me more is the texture combination.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: The mustard is really taking over the chocolate. Like you
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: can't taste that out, but like to have a dusty
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: texture in there is like a weird you don't normally happen.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: But I'm glad I'm blindfold because if I was looking
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: at this, I wouldn't be able to finish it.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: I have this water and I'm going to kind of
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: set it take the blindfold off, don't get the extra
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: point so.
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: That you can have it if you want it, but
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: I'll keep holding it.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: And is the effect of fighting for an extra point?
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: And ault is just mothering. Next, Yes, I have this.
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: Glass of water and I'm going to keep it held
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: so that if you need your other hand for any purpose.
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: I thought that, like our ability to eat anything gonna help.
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: There's a little bit more palate and not being able
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: to taste the sour cream is what's actually gonna hurt
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: his points.
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: I can't ingest anything.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: A bit more cookie, but we'll see it's not see
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: it is that enough the bad part.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: It's a significant piece of cookie, though it won't be
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: that's the problem.
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: That's that's that's it done.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: Oh my god, I.
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: Am christ the same.
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: I love you all, and I'm so I admire your
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: strength and fortitude because Matt gave me peanut butter and
- 1:12:41Speaker 5: jelly and I genuinely gagged.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Would not be able to handle this get much?
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: And I thought.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: It's actually a nice thing. Would be enough pressure?
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: And yeah, I was right, you know, but it's fine,
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: you know, like like you tight it on me. I
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: thought I was going to tie it on you. That's
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: what teammates did. Sorry, I was just going anywhere. I
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: was just raised too independent.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: I can put my own blindfolds on.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Okay, Jason, the final Oreo cookie, I'm not gonna put
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: straight in your mouth. Unlet's let's have that's how you
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: want to eat it whole? Do you want to eat
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: hole straight in the It's like a baby bullet. Yeah,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: all right, how many points are you gonna give me
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: if I throw up? Well, if there's no point I
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: throw up, well I was.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: But if you baby bird it, then you have to
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: put it in your mouth and then put it in.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: The whole Oreo cookie, the whole thing.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Just logistically, Listener, Matt is shoving an oreo. Yes, it's
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: Jason's mouth.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: It's it's all in that was that what I think
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: in there?
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: Yeah it was the bucket over.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: Doesn't do you need any vessel to put it?
- 1:13:59Speaker 5: So?
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: I had yous you did have? That's fair, that that's true.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: That's true Jason's process in this radio.
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, stone faced. To be fair, I
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: would have been more pissed as also.
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: I can honestly, it's basically just like Mexican chocolate. Well,
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: it's obviously like fucking tooth paste.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: Yes, your mouth is blue.
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: Whatever is Whatever else is in there has a nastiest texture.
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: It's like gummy. Mmm, it's just a wat of floss. Yeah,
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: this is the dental Yeah, it holds itself in one shape.
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: Can you figure out what that shape is? I swear
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: to God if this is something fucking nasty, like if
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: this is cat food, I'm gonna kill you.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: I would be able to tell immediately if it was
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: cat food.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: It's not off. I finally got like some of its flavor.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: It's off. It's no good. Is it cheese?
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: It's not cheese? You one more gas flax are sniffing around.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: I don't like how you said that. Ore you've ever
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: done to me. You've definitely already got the point for
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: eating the whole thing. Yeah, that was amazing.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: I have no idea what the second hold.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: I got another bit of it.
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: Yeah, did you guys see it? I only saw a
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: little bit of it when it was going in. Not
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: the toothpaste part. No, it's the toothpaste part. Oh, yeah,
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: that was of the full cookie. Yeah, that's how I
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: usually brush my teeth is with a glob of toothpaste
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: in the cookie. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't so
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: it gets in the cavities.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: Yeah, four five dentists to recommend. Yeah, it's something savory.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: I know that because it's fucking off. Do you want
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: to throw out one? One final slavery?
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: Guess is it one of your fake meats? Is it
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: to fky? It's not to It was shrimp, oh, shrim okay, yeah,
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: getting flavor.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: That's why flax is sniffing around.
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: I just kept thinking, yeah, I'm gonna eat cat food.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Well you didn't.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: It was shrimp that was kind of like really nice cat.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: Yeah, in a way if you really love your cat.
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it was. It was all toothpaste, so I didn't
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: get any shrimp flavor. That does make sense for the
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: texture though.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: The you go, how do you feel about having an
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: l shift in your mouth? I enjoyed that.
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it's quite nice. Nice. The unknown was the most
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: exciting part.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: I think restaurants should do that more often, specifically Denny's.
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: You should just come in blind he.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: Was just come in blindfolded. Denny's blindfold special.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it makes it better.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: Big Denny's Sandwich menu BDSM.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Beautiful stuff. I have here revenge round question mark, do
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: you want me to go through this as well? Is
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: that something that yeah, bring you enjoy? Then to show
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: that I would do the same thing, I will stay here.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: If you would like to prepare an oriole cookie for
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: me to for me to consume, Yes, yes, let's go.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: As long as it's edible.
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: That's the role.
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: Chen.
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Okay, can you do that?
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: No, it's not that I don't want to guess it.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: I just wanted to have again. I never I don't
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: actually think it's going to be that bad.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Okay, it's my son.
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: Now, Yes, your turn. Explain to us what your experience.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: This doesn't even feel like an oreo.
- 1:17:50Speaker 5: I promise.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Technically it's the same format. You gave two ingredients shoved
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: between two cookies.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Pick up the bottom one hand.
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: It's so tall.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: Oh, where's the bucket? Where's the bucket? That's gonna be
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: less than trimp and too Oh my god, something's.
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: Cuddling in that.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Oh show I kind of forgot.
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: Is that.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: It's lime one of the things the things, and then
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: arguably too much lines. There's a lot of limon is
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: it cream?
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: Cheese?
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: Clo You're in the right family, thicker consistency, integrity. Just grea,
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: are you referring to cream as butter because you're British?
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: It's uh fun fact.
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: Actually, yes, citrus can curdle.
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: Yet to think.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: About it, like the chemistry did not happened in my brain.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: I know that.
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Also, I'm not competing on any team, so I don't
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: feel like I have to finish the whole.
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I had to leave the room. Please don't.
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: Why didn't you guys tell us that lime juice kurdle
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: because I.
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: Didn't think about it until he said something tastes curdle.
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't know that was I didn't know a citrus.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: It's how you make buttermilk on the fly. You take
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: a milk and you mix it with a vinegar or
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: a lemon juice and let it sit for like twenty minutes,
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: and then by the time you need it and add
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: it into your like cake or whatever, it will be curdle.
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: But you put a ton of lime juice in there.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: But you know, I've now tasted my own medicine. It's horrible.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: So sorry, No I brought this upon myself. It's good,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: but that brings us to the end of the round
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: and therefore the scores. So let's ask Rudolph to use
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: his red light to guide us to the latest scores,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: and with your nose, silly, put your penis away.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: Even when he isn't painting, and still deliver the jet.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Okay, Oh god, I can just see colors. I would
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: hope so, but like it's all I can see. Okay,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: So the the Carollers of the Nine Hells are on
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: twenty points. They've overtaken the divorced. That's double whatever that is,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: You're on nineteen points.
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: Even garbage cans really failed us there. Yeah, we just
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: kind of ate without thinking all of ours with our question. Yeah,
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: that kind of sucks.
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: Yeah, we had to take a half bite first figure
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: out what it was.
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: And I tried doing that. It just goes down so fair,
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: so easily. Okay.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: Game three is called fan Dinner Party. That kind of works,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: doesn't it. Fan dinner party?
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: Yeah, found in a party, Found.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: In a party of these horrible foods we've had. I'm
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: hosting the annual Fandom Christmas Dinner Party. But I'm really
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: bad at remembering characters from popular franchises that I've invited,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: so I'm going to need all of you to remind me.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I'm going to give you a category. I'd like you
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: to write down the name of a character from that
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: category and then show each other to make sure you've
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: all got different characters. I've got to duplicate someone.
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: Just decide.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: Here are some notebooks for you, guys, so you can
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: write one per page. There's some tens there, and then
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: without saying the name of your character at any point,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: you've got to use our dinner party conversation here to
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: convey as many clues about who you are as possible.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: We're not really looking for impressions here. That's not what
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: this is about. It's more about just you, without saying
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: who you are, behaving like that character at Christmas, them
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: to each other, You'll show them to each other. I'll
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: keep blindfolded, and then after a few minutes, I will
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: try and guess who everyone is. If I correctly guess
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: who you are, you get a point if I don't.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: But you're the person out of the group of four
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: who's gone for the most obscure character. I will also
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: give you a bonus point for just being brave and daring.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Strats and the first category, because it's got a holiday
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: special it's already been mentioned. I would like a Star
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: Wars character from each of you. And once you've all
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: written down a Star Wars character, if you can show
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: each other to make sure that you've got a different
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: character each.
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: And we're going for real characters, not someone just would
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: be like random toilet in the back.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: Well, well, you know, if you went for that, and
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: then I didn't guess that, you might get the obscure point,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: you might if I guess it, you might get the
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: obscure point and a point as well. It's also who
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: you might want to be at a dinner a Christmas
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: dinner party.
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: This is the right one. I was thinking that one
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: Star Wars pro.
- 1:23:39Speaker 4: Hey, you know we didn't get matching Darth Maul piercings
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: this year for no reason?
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: We did that. Yeah, I thought of it last night
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: when we were thinking about today. I got you a
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: piercing for Christmas.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: Can you put the matching key chains in your piercing?
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: No?
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: Okay, we're everybody.
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: Teach other are all right? Everyone knows so you can
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: close your bucks.
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: I know who you are.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: I don't know, okay, And if you want to close
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: your bucks, we'll get this. We'll get this little scene started.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: All right, everyone, welcome to my Star Wars themed Christmas
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: dinner party. I'm so excited to have so many of
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: the popular characters from Star Wars here, a product I'm
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: completely familiar with.
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: I know this, I p so well.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: So I mean, let's let's start with the best food
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: there is, the turkey. How does everyone feel about turkey?
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Has anyone got any favorite parts of the of the
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: turkey that they like?
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: Man, I love me some frogs, if I'm being honest.
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: Your frogs, fine, they say frogs tastes like turkey. But
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: if anything, I like a tattoo frog desert myself.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Well, I think I've got some desert frogs over there.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Actually I actually did them, Fried, if that's okay, Fried, don't.
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: Mind if I do. Don't mind if I do. You
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: know me, I love to come and and and and
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: moochin as much as I can your moocha. Yeah, okay.
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: You know who actually makes the best turkeys though? It's
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: the Cloners. Not many people know about them, okay, but
- 1:25:21Speaker 4: I've been aware of I've heard talk of them in
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: my h in my fifties dinner.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: Oh, you're familiar with the Cloners.
- 1:25:31Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I know that it's not necessarily the most
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: traditional Christmas food, but I love I love having like
- 1:25:42Speaker 5: a roast chicken and some like deviled eggs as like
- 1:25:46Speaker 5: two of the things. Like it's it's nice to have
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: a mother and daughter combo on the table and as guests,
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: it's so nice.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: To have Okay, that's why you're thinking of chicken. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: there's something about motherhood in that.
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: Absolutely. You know, I really appreciate just the traditional aspects
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: you know, of what it means to have, you know,
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: a traditional meal. But it also makes me think of
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: you know, making sandwiches and having nice lunches and picnics
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: in a field. Also a great memory to have around sandwich, Yeah,
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: Turkey sandwiches, Like take them out in the field, you do. Yeah,
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: maybe a basket spending time with your loved ones.
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: I like having. I bet you would love having a
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: nice basket, a picnic basket around there. I remember the
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: last time you were at my house for dinner, I
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: left with two less guests, all called out, and I
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: think that was just convenient of you for that.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: Oh now, now let's not fight on Christmas. Whenever, this is.
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: Space Christmas vice Christmas, as one left.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: You as a guest, do you is it safe to
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: say you could be leaving a bit of a mess
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: over there? Like? Is it is this something just on
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: the seat that you're leaving behind you everywhere you go?
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: Is that?
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: Is that a thing?
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: As a guest? I mean, I do you know when
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: I float around? Which you know? And when I when
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: I hover around there might be some droppings here there.
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: I'm not going to pick that up. I have people
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: for that, all right? Okay? Now do you want you
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: pay these people? That's neither here nor there.
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: It's an important I would like to know the answer
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: of what I can say, what we what we contribute
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: to is some healthy games deciding pay and potentially employment.
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: Okay, you know, I just.
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: Feel like we should have a better system and you know,
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: policies and laws around that. I feel like that's an
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: important part of you know, a judicial system.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: All right, No politics from the senator Christmas. Okay, Actually
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: I want to know more from this guy in the corner.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: Do you can you like hold things hold dishes in
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: all four of you? Is that going to be possible?
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: Just I mean, yeah, that's preferable that I'm asking you
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: to do work Christmas.
- 1:28:21Speaker 4: No, I was actually expecting it. I am a cook,
- 1:28:24Speaker 4: so okay, I was, And don't worry. I have an
- 1:28:26Speaker 4: apron big enough to wipe all four of my hands
- 1:28:28Speaker 4: and to give you a big old.
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: Hug the same time.
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: Oh wow, I'll see my bucket bugs big enough for
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: over in the corner there the part of the mother
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: doult a compress.
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 1:28:44Speaker 5: Honestly, I don't even know if you and I know
- 1:28:46Speaker 5: each other. It's just my mom brought me.
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: To this okay universe.
- 1:28:51Speaker 5: Yes, in an alternate universe, of course, there's Christmas face,
- 1:28:56Speaker 5: something's changed, It's fine.
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: But in this universe where we're all, where these poles
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: are just gathered together, your mom did bring yes.
- 1:29:02Speaker 5: Yes, in this alternate universe, my mother did bring me
- 1:29:06Speaker 5: all right. I think I'm ready, but not my brother.
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: But did not bring my brain your brother. All right,
- 1:29:14Speaker 5: I think I'm ready to make my Christmas toast. It
- 1:29:17Speaker 5: is so beautiful to be here with you all today,
- 1:29:20Speaker 5: all of you lovely Star Wars characters. It is I'm
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: honored to be joined by the Senator Padme Amidala and
- 1:29:32Speaker 5: her adult daughter, who she must.
- 1:29:33Speaker 3: Be thrilled to see.
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely also a senator. I think Leia or Ghana
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: absolutely see you bother Yes, good stuff, good stuff, a princess.
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: But and now okay, so I'm also I'm actually no,
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: I'm slightly less honored to be joined by this sleazy
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: pod race gambler. There it goes in the form of
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: what oh yeah, yeah, yeah, what's what are doing here?
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: But I am glad to be joined by someone who
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: appreciates the cuisine of the culinary arts of the space
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: the space anti exactly, yeah, as a diner owner, and
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: someone who appears in one scene and stuff is it
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: dexter gentster or something like jetter nice?
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: Very good.
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: Congratulations, you all get a point. And I'm going to
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: give Chris a bonus point for choosing the most obscure.
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: Character twenty seconds on screen.
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: Hey, it's the most iconic twenty seconds. I had everything
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: within me I had to use to to not start
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: off with, well, what do you know? Gives it away immediately?
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: Good restraint, good restraint. That was great.
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: Can't make noises, but we can act.
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: You can improvise conversations, absolutely, we can. All right, I'm
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: going to give you another category. Now I would like
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: to hear another character from you. This time, I'm throwing
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: a Christmas dinner party for the Simpsons characters. They've done
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: lots of Christmas specials. I think they do one every year.
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: They're very Christmas coded off at the Simpsons, So we
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: shouldn't do voices, and yeah, try and avoid voices. Yeah,
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: because because I think you'll you'll have a good impression
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: and I'll just get it. There's a lot of minor
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: characters with the Simpsons as well. Yeah.
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: I was thinking of him too. That's pretty good, of course. Whatever.
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: Actually, I'm going to pivot even more only that's great. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: we're going to go with the only things I know
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: and what I played from a video game.
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: And then how came you said? Of course, because I
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: don't know the Simpsons.
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: I know Memes, he knows you, I know you, and
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: I know I'm saying that like it's hard for me
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: to act, but like I generally.
- 1:32:11Speaker 3: Know the.
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: I think this is who I think it is.
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, I'm not gonna look it up but find
- 1:32:20Speaker 3: that it's even bolder.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: Okay, have you all know what you've got?
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, we never removed the blindfield. Okay, here we
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: are at the second Christmas party. I'm thrown this year.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: This time, I've invited all of the Simpsons characters. You
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: are the four who actually showed up. So thank you
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: so much. Thank you for all arriving and doing that
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: funny thing on the couch that was hilarious.
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm I guess I'm about ready as pull
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: some drinks. If anyone wants anything to drink, I.
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: Hope you don't mind. I already went through your liquor cabinet.
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: Oh, you may be out of Duff's, Okay, I might be. Well,
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: you know, I had like twelve stuff.
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: That is the weakest burp I as o ever.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: Yeah, you're usually ones. Okay, Well imagine one of your
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: powerful ones that Yeah. Wow, you know what a little rude,
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: But I'm glad you feel at home. That's that's a
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: good that's a good thing that you do around here.
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: Maybe uh, lay off the alcohol a little bit. Anyone
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: else in want waking thing to drink? Anything to eat?
- 1:33:32Speaker 3: There's a whole spread here. Well, my mom said I
- 1:33:37Speaker 3: can only have one orange juice today. Yeah, so I
- 1:33:41Speaker 3: think I'm good.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: Why you only allow one orange juice a day?
- 1:33:45Speaker 3: Well, I'm not really supposed to be here. My mom
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: doesn't like me hanging around his house so much, but
- 1:33:51Speaker 3: my house. Yeah, because you're a stranger.
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, your mom forbids you from bad party guests.
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: Okay, so that's and as little helper.
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: We know who Marabella is. Yeah, yeah, okay, you just
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: sticking half just your wine orange juice. I guess let's
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: see if that's relevant.
- 1:34:15Speaker 3: What about you?
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: Can I get you anything to drink?
- 1:34:18Speaker 3: I could be.
- 1:34:20Speaker 4: Tempted with a nice chiras or any fine wines that
- 1:34:26Speaker 4: you potentially have.
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I've got a wine rack. If this guy hasn't
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: rated it already.
- 1:34:31Speaker 3: The blood of one of our fellow guests.
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: I'm sorry, what what I didn't say that? Did you
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: say the blood of one of our fellow guests?
- 1:34:38Speaker 3: No? I did not.
- 1:34:39Speaker 4: I have no idea what you're saying. Actually, okay, waiting
- 1:34:43Speaker 4: on that wine.
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll get you that wine immediately. I'm kind of
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: scared of you. While I'm over there getting the wine.
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: Can I get you anything?
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: I mean, I can't technically drink alcohol, but I mean
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: you could if you wanted to.
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: Okay, I want well, right, well, I'm definitely not giving
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: you alcohol, then the sense that you're a minor. Can
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: I interest you in apple cider?
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: Sure?
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: Okay, didn't the apple cider who stepped on my foot?
- 1:35:16Speaker 3: Me? Of course it was you.
- 1:35:20Speaker 2: I have no context for this conversation.
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: Okay, we'll come back to the child in a second. Actually,
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: I suspect this. I suspect we have another child over here.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: Can these these two children? Do you know each other?
- 1:35:34Speaker 3: Well, I'm always at his house, and yeah, we usually
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: watch things like Itchy and Scratchy. But again, my mom
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: doesn't like me hanging around him too much. He gets
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: into a bad.
- 1:35:46Speaker 2: Influence, terrible stateboarding, and I'm a bad kid.
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: Okay, so not one of the more niche bullies. Yes,
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: I'm trying to get a handle on these. So specifically,
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: you go round to this kid's house. Your mom doesn't
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: approve of the skateboarding.
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: No, but his sister's cute, he's saying inquisitively. Maybe that's
- 1:36:11Speaker 3: about in my character. Maybe I actually don't know.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: You shut up your dark I'll figure out what exactly
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: which dog you are in which are But other than that,
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: I think I'm ready to make yes, because I don't
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: think I need to hear anything more from Barney in
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: just immediately coming in and drinking all the duff and
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: then doing the weakest b ever. And I think I'm
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: going to call Chief Wigham because it looks like side
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: Shore Bob is in the house right now talking about it.
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: Excellent Kelsey and then the little scamp asking for me
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: to get some alcohol. It's got to be the one,
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: the only buffalow Simpsons nice things to say. You're not
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: going to get the bonus point that.
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: Gen, but oh no, I wasn't going for obscure. I
- 1:37:14Speaker 2: was going for something I can kind of remember. And
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: as a teenager, I played the Simpson's skateboarding game Nice
- 1:37:23Speaker 2: in the Arcade at a pizza place in California, and
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: so that was my only knowledge.
- 1:37:29Speaker 5: Of successful point scoring for such a small touchstone, and
- 1:37:33Speaker 5: I respect incredibly small.
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: Now we get to the dweeb, it's all coming up me. Okay,
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: that confirms that I believe Millhouse is best friend. Sometimes
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: have a crush on Lisa.
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: Say yeah, isn't also maybe what's the kid that goes
- 1:37:54Speaker 3: Ralph Nelson?
- 1:37:59Speaker 5: Ralph the one you can actually pinpoint the moment when
- 1:38:03Speaker 5: it's heart.
- 1:38:05Speaker 2: That's not the exact line.
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: But that's right, Ralph has a huge crush on Lisa.
- 1:38:11Speaker 3: Choose I thought you're gonna choose Ralph because you do
- 1:38:18Speaker 3: a great love Wigham voice.
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: Oh shit, I forgot that I did that. I don't know.
- 1:38:23Speaker 3: I don't say I'm in danger, raph, I mean danger.
- 1:38:28Speaker 5: It does have that soft I can do an impression
- 1:38:31Speaker 5: of something good once, I think. I think is my
- 1:38:34Speaker 5: my fatal flaw is I have one perfect impression in
- 1:38:38Speaker 5: me of anything, and then it's just dog shit from
- 1:38:41Speaker 5: here on out.
- 1:38:43Speaker 4: I was just so tempted to go with Krusty and
- 1:38:45Speaker 4: then and just start.
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: With but I mean, thanks so much for withholding your
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: excellent impressions to so that the game lasted a little longer.
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: But I am going to also give the bonus point
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: to Chris again there inside your Bob appears in the
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: fewest episodes. Yeah characters, So absolutely all right, And with that,
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: let's check the naughty and Nice list for the latest scores.
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: It's funny how as an adult, naughty is actually nice,
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: and like nice guys are the ones who are truly
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: doing the naughty shit in the world.
- 1:39:20Speaker 2: You really see through the matrix once you get older.
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: Yeah, right, center pilled. That's what it is. It's the
- 1:39:30Speaker 1: red clothes he was Santa is red pilled. Okay, those
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: scores are it's a leap frog back and forth again.
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: Now nine Hells are on twenty four points quadrupled these
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: are on twenty five points.
- 1:39:46Speaker 3: Let's get no points from here on out, taking Christmas
- 1:39:49Speaker 3: even Christmas.
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: That's perfect. But I have prepared a quick fire around.
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: Oh you know, I'm going to try my hardes, so
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: our final round will be quick fire. But it's also
- 1:40:09Speaker 1: going to be festive themed. There's no like twist or anything.
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: We're actually gonna go back to the gate Leaper's roots
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: and it's going to be wordplay and rhyming based. Okay, yeah,
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: we're gonna go right back to the season one.
- 1:40:19Speaker 3: Shit, this is incredible.
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: People didn't want to come back and was not asked for,
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: but it's crazy.
- 1:40:26Speaker 3: I liked it.
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: So in this game I will give our players clues
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: to a Christmas rhyming thing. It will make more sense
- 1:40:33Speaker 1: in a moment with the example question. I promise it
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: is quick fire, but as we're all live in the
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: same room, I'd like some live buzzers if that's possible,
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: Like that's going to be a buzzer.
- 1:40:46Speaker 3: I love it. Yeah, that's yeah.
- 1:40:53Speaker 2: We have pasta in a shaker and a cocktail shaker.
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: Hell yeah, let's hear it. Oh great, that's Look, these
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: are two unique sounds.
- 1:41:01Speaker 2: It sounds like jingle bells to me.
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: It does sound like jingle bells. If you hadn't have
- 1:41:06Speaker 1: said that it was penne and a container.
- 1:41:10Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:41:10Speaker 2: Actually it's spiral, so it's not penny.
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: Oh is it for you?
- 1:41:13Speaker 3: Silly?
- 1:41:14Speaker 1: My bad?
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: Yeah, you're.
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: Name past this all dayge your hair flahy fuck. Okay,
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: good because I didn't have any more. Okay, so here's
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: an example of the kind of thing I'm looking for.
- 1:41:29Speaker 1: Each of your answers will be a Christmas thing and
- 1:41:32Speaker 1: a thing that rhymes with that Christmas thing. Okay, So
- 1:41:35Speaker 1: if I said I'm going to run a single elimination
- 1:41:39Speaker 1: competition between shiny baubles, you would hang from a tree.
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: I'm holding an yes Sodre.
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: Ornament tournament.
- 1:41:50Speaker 3: It is an ornament tournament, is what I would be hold.
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: Okay, yes, okay, okay, okay, So maybe easy to think
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: of Christmas thing is being said and then find a
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: word that rhy Yeah, that might fit the clue.
- 1:42:05Speaker 2: Okay, you can hold together and then whoever needs it.
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: It's like a.
- 1:42:15Speaker 2: I love that. That's why I want to be known wed.
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: Our next to you name and Chris, you are ready
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: to hit that button the same as same as Jason.
- 1:42:25Speaker 1: Can we hear it tested one more time? There is
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: a sight that's okay, that's fine for me. Okay, I
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: will start the timer. Here are your clues. I'm going
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: to market a new carbonated orange beverage that tastes like
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: the head guy in charge at the North.
- 1:42:46Speaker 3: Yes, fantas, that's what we're looking for.
- 1:42:52Speaker 2: I hit my stride a half second behind.
- 1:42:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just like it.
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: Just say someone, when nobody enjoyed it.
- 1:43:03Speaker 2: It was only me.
- 1:43:07Speaker 1: Next clue, I'm going to perform a safety inspection of
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: the place where baby Jesus lay, taking careful notes of any.
- 1:43:18Speaker 2: Danger.
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: I didn't hear that. I didn't hear that, didn't it
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: and it was major danger.
- 1:43:24Speaker 3: Yet just yelling out the answer.
- 1:43:29Speaker 2: You did, I didn't hear the noise. That's not your pleasure.
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: I would also accept you guys making this out.
- 1:43:38Speaker 3: Do you make the cool you will live to regret this, okay.
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: Next next clue, I'm going to ask the surrealist director
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: to try and adapt the Zeus story with that grouchy
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: green guy.
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: I want to see a.
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: I heard the Shakespeare.
- 1:44:00Speaker 2: That's fair David Lynch grinch.
- 1:44:03Speaker 1: I'm looking for a Lynch grinch.
- 1:44:06Speaker 3: This damn we had it.
- 1:44:09Speaker 4: For like a second and their win is much my time.
- 1:44:13Speaker 4: My brain has to process.
- 1:44:16Speaker 1: I'm not going to allow for lagging a live version
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: where we're all in the same I'm processing.
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: I was still thinking Oscar the Grouch when she said
- 1:44:25Speaker 4: the answer, so I'm clearly not built for this.
- 1:44:28Speaker 3: Oscar. Okay.
- 1:44:29Speaker 1: Next one, I'm going to get Sonic to markus a
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: new festive dairy drink. Oh, and they can use Sonic
- 1:44:37Speaker 1: as the mascot. Then hedge hognog. It's called hogknog.
- 1:44:49Speaker 3: Now meeting repills in your hognog. We're not doing anything.
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: You're gonna get one of these one of these. Next seven,
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: I'm going to ask John Lennon's widow if she wants
- 1:45:07Speaker 1: a hot chocolate beverage. I'm going to offer, yes, Jason.
- 1:45:13Speaker 3: A Yoko oh no cock coco.
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: Yes, there you go that you got to make the
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: tim haland noise. I'm going to finally take that big
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: sock off the end of my bed, the one that's
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: been stopping me from having all that sex. I'm going
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: to remove my Wait, that's only one thing.
- 1:45:36Speaker 2: I mean, this one is so fun. If this is
- 1:45:41Speaker 2: what it is, cock blocking stocking, stock stocking, what is
- 1:45:48Speaker 2: nothing that's gonna rhyme?
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: It was stocking at all. I got the COmON stock
- 1:45:55Speaker 3: that was part of the answer.
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: It was a cock blocking stocking, which, to be fair stock. Yeah,
- 1:46:02Speaker 1: I'm not going to finish that sense. I'm going to
- 1:46:05Speaker 1: gather snow and form it into a human shape, the
- 1:46:09Speaker 1: shape of a Polish virtuo so pianist. I'm going to
- 1:46:13Speaker 1: build a Yes, Marabelle, I'm sorry, that's incorrect. It's not Beethoven.
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: I'm going to gather snow and form it into a
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: human shape, the shape of a Polish virtuo so pianist.
- 1:46:27Speaker 1: I'm going to build a Are you.
- 1:46:29Speaker 2: Going with pronunciation? Is it the chopin.
- 1:46:31Speaker 3: Snowman's chopin snowman?
- 1:46:37Speaker 2: It's the only name I can think of. I had snowman,
- 1:46:40Speaker 2: but I was.
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: Like, yeah, you had chopin as well.
- 1:46:43Speaker 2: Trying to make list fit.
- 1:46:47Speaker 3: He's making a list.
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: I'm going to a cold workshop for my golf vacation
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: this year. I'm looking to go under par on the
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: one after the third, but before the fifth, I'm going
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: to ace the What these ones are starting to get
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: really tenuous. I'm going to a cold workshop for my
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: golf vacation this year. I'm looking to go under par
- 1:47:11Speaker 1: on the one after the third, but before the fifth,
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: I'm going to ace the.
- 1:47:18Speaker 3: Yes, Audra north.
- 1:47:19Speaker 2: Pole fourth hole.
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I was thinking of like Santa's Workshop. Yeah, I was.
- 1:47:27Speaker 2: I was like, I was trying to think of a
- 1:47:29Speaker 2: different name for a workshop. I am high off of that.
- 1:47:33Speaker 1: This is why Aldra has been nervous in quick fire
- 1:47:36Speaker 1: rounds ever since season two, because it's the one she
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: hates it because it was all this.
- 1:47:40Speaker 2: Kind of stop doing things in my wheelhouse.
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: Audra and maybe Aaron are loving this. And I'm going
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: to approach the Queen of Christmas and ask if she
- 1:47:51Speaker 1: has any food based restrictions for safety reasons.
- 1:47:55Speaker 3: I want to know something around with Turkish delight.
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: Wait wait, let me hit let me hit Tim Allen.
- 1:48:04Speaker 3: No, it's not that.
- 1:48:07Speaker 2: I'm trying.
- 1:48:13Speaker 3: I haven't said anything.
- 1:48:15Speaker 2: I'm trying to think of something that rhymes with allergies.
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: You think we can pass this one. We can.
- 1:48:20Speaker 3: I was looking.
- 1:48:22Speaker 1: I was looking for Mariah Carey's diaterarries. Yeah, I know
- 1:48:28Speaker 1: that fits, honestly. Queen of Christmas is okay. Next one,
- 1:48:31Speaker 1: I'm going to see if the lead character of A
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: Christmas Carol is inside a Belgian city or if he
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: wants to watch that film set in a Belgian city.
- 1:48:44Speaker 1: Something about scursion Bruch and he's a Scroogian, Bruce, I
- 1:48:48Speaker 1: don't even know that was a city or a place.
- 1:48:51Speaker 3: Good stuff.
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: Next one, I'm going to design a striped festive mint
- 1:48:56Speaker 1: candy that tastes like a disgraced actor and cue you
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: a non conspiracy theorist who also has a brother? Would
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: you like to try my.
- 1:49:07Speaker 2: Brother brother who also has a brother. I'm just gonna.
- 1:49:13Speaker 4: Yeah, Chris Candy Caine something Cain like the wrestler. Technically
- 1:49:21Speaker 4: his wrestling brother is the Undertaker, who is problematic.
- 1:49:26Speaker 1: Because he is also a Q and no conspiracy theorist.
- 1:49:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna take it. It's not the answer I got
- 1:49:30Speaker 1: written down here, but technically.
- 1:49:35Speaker 4: Yeah, Candy Kane, Glenn Jacobs Kane.
- 1:49:39Speaker 3: Rhyming Kane with kin. But that's all I got.
- 1:49:41Speaker 1: Hey, it's better than the rhyme I had, which was
- 1:49:43Speaker 1: a nea rhyme, which was Randy Quaid, Candy Kanay.
- 1:49:49Speaker 3: Hanks.
- 1:49:52Speaker 2: We just list all of the famous men brothers, brothers.
- 1:49:58Speaker 1: Okay, quick before the buzzer, I'm going to hang a
- 1:50:01Speaker 1: suggestive plant from the ceiling and make you all square dance.

- 1:50:43Speaker 1: know this has been a crazy long record. It was
- 1:50:45Speaker 1: a fun.
- 1:50:48Speaker 2: It was fun and honestly, we just got trapped for
- 1:50:51Speaker 2: two and a half hours playing task Master, which is
- 1:50:52Speaker 2: what we would have been doing.
- 1:50:54Speaker 1: That's true, that's true, and this way it's content. I'm
- 1:51:00Speaker 1: Audra just because this will go out on the I
