- 0:00Speaker 1: Previously on Relatables Baddies book Club. I think that Farah
- 0:03Speaker 1: is going to become a beacon of hope for everyone,
- 0:07Speaker 1: for all of Prithian and the Mortal lands. I think
- 0:10Speaker 1: that Farah is going to become She's going to have
- 0:13Speaker 1: the power of all seven high lords. I think Recent
- 0:17Speaker 1: is going to train her, obviously, going to become her.
- 0:19Speaker 1: They're going to get married. And I think that Tamlin,
- 0:24Speaker 1: I'm standing with it. Tamlin is sided with high Burn. Yeah, okay, yeah,
- 0:27Speaker 1: and I and I think that basically the Autumn Court,
- 0:31Speaker 1: that the Spring Court, I don't know much about the
- 0:33Speaker 1: other courts are going to go on and side with
- 0:36Speaker 1: Highburn and then the rest will be together. But I
- 0:39Speaker 1: think that Farah is going to be the beacon of light.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Okay, okay o, I have like a curve ball, okay, okay,
- 0:46Speaker 2: imagine right, Oh, maybe imagine. So she's gonna start having
- 0:49Speaker 2: sex with Recent obviously, but she's also still having sex
- 0:53Speaker 2: with Tamlin.
- 0:54Speaker 1: So she's not going to go back.
- 0:55Speaker 2: No, but I reckon, don't you reckon she'll go back
- 0:57Speaker 2: now at all? You don't reckon she's ever going to
- 0:59Speaker 2: go back now.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Oh, I got to disagree with you.
- 1:02Speaker 2: There, I reckon, She'll go back, Oh, she'll go back
- 1:05Speaker 2: to have to say something to Tamlin to get closure.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I reckon, and they'll have sex one more time. That's
- 1:10Speaker 2: my call, and I reckon.
- 1:12Speaker 1: M curveballs.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Imagine she got pregnant and Tamlin tries to claim it,
- 1:15Speaker 2: but it's actually resents.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Welcome to Relatables Baddi's Book Clubs, where we will embark
- 1:21Speaker 1: on a journey reading some of the finest pieces of
- 1:23Speaker 1: literature you have ever laid eyes or is if that's
- 1:26Speaker 1: your preferred way to consume a book on No, no, no, no,
- 1:29Speaker 1: not a Court of Mist and Fury Chapters fourteen to
- 1:35Speaker 1: twenty four and Jake, this book, man, I'm addicted. All
- 1:42Speaker 1: I think about, all I think about is yum yam yam,
- 1:44Speaker 1: yum yam yamah.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I was enjoying myself prior to these chapters. But these chapters, Yeah,
- 1:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna say it, life changing.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Yeah, honestly though, Like I feel like like shit's gone down,
- 1:56Speaker 1: but I feel like shit hasn't gone down down yet.
- 1:59Speaker 1: We're going down. We we're getting to a point where
- 2:01Speaker 1: it's gonna get down and dirty. But like we're in
- 2:04Speaker 1: this like the four play zone. Yeah, I tell you what.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie like I was again. I just
- 2:17Speaker 1: feel so giddy when I read it.
- 2:19Speaker 2: So I don't want to give too much away before
- 2:21Speaker 2: we get into it. But I love the new characters,
- 2:23Speaker 2: and I love the character development. And the thing I'm
- 2:26Speaker 2: liking the least is favorite.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I can't. I gotta be honest, but she's gonna get good. Yeah,
- 2:36Speaker 1: She's obviously gonna get good. And to be honest with you,
- 2:39Speaker 1: I am actually starting to like her more. I near
- 2:42Speaker 1: the end of these chapters, I have started to like
- 2:44Speaker 1: her more. I think the way to describe it is
- 2:45Speaker 1: she's a slow burn, very very very very slow burn.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And I feel as though that Sarah Janet Mass did
- 2:54Speaker 1: that on purpose. We figured that out, Yeah, Sarah Janet Mass.
- 2:58Speaker 1: But guys asked on the in the book club, if
- 3:01Speaker 1: you're not in it on Instagram, the Instagram channel, get
- 3:05Speaker 1: into it. So I asked in there, what song best
- 3:10Speaker 1: describes our boy Resent Woo, He's better be sexy. Okay,
- 3:15Speaker 1: So here's the thing. We want to play the songs,
- 3:19Speaker 1: but problem, the problem is we can't play them on
- 3:23Speaker 1: Spotify and YouTube or else. The episodes get taken down
- 3:26Speaker 1: copyright laws. So what we're gonna do is read out
- 3:31Speaker 1: the songs and then we are gonna actually play the
- 3:37Speaker 1: songs a little bit techie.
- 3:39Speaker 2: But if you're on Patreon, you're going to be able
- 3:41Speaker 2: to hear the songs. But if you're on Spotify, we're
- 3:43Speaker 2: just going to say them.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yes and on Patreon. Remember this episode that you're listening
- 3:48Speaker 1: to right now, it came out on Monday on Patreon.
- 3:51Speaker 1: So if you want it early, early.
- 3:53Speaker 2: And now with songs, yeah, bit juicier, head on.
- 3:58Speaker 1: It's only five dollars a month. It did, is only
- 4:00Speaker 1: five dollars a month. So how should I do this?
- 4:03Speaker 1: Should I say a song and then play it and
- 4:06Speaker 1: then just like you're going to be everyone listening. This
- 4:10Speaker 1: is the first time Jake's edited an episode in like
- 4:12Speaker 1: two years, so this is up to you, bro. Okay,
- 4:15Speaker 1: So it is what it is. It's gonna be figure
- 4:18Speaker 1: out say the song, we react and play it. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
- 4:22Speaker 1: So what song best describes our boy recent Daddy's home? Oh,
- 4:28Speaker 1: who's that? Okay? Daddy's home? You know this Songe's like
- 4:31Speaker 1: Daddy's home. Yeah, home for me? So let's let's play
- 4:38Speaker 1: a little bit of Daddy's Home. Yeah, that is a
- 4:41Speaker 1: bad that song really does? Okay? Is that is this? It?
- 4:45Speaker 1: That song was playing behind him when he crashes the wedding?
- 4:48Speaker 1: So okay, next up is so this person said in general,
- 4:57Speaker 1: a guitar as a whole series in general, luminary. That's
- 5:01Speaker 1: all this, that's the all the AI montages that it is. Okay,
- 5:06Speaker 1: next up? Control by Halsey. Oh, I don't know if
- 5:11Speaker 1: I can picture that one. Won't do too many because
- 5:14Speaker 1: it could take for ever. Do one or two more?
- 5:17Speaker 1: Controlled by Halsey. Here we go. It's good because it's
- 5:20Speaker 1: like a reaction. I don't know what they did. Yeah,
- 5:22Speaker 1: it's like I'm a bossard, I know. Yeah, Okay, that works,
- 5:27Speaker 1: give us one or two more. Okay, we'll do two more.
- 5:29Speaker 1: About Love by Marina is Face Sands song. Okay about Love.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I'm not even gonna finish it. I'm sorry that didn't hit.
- 5:38Speaker 1: That's given. Yeah, that's like I'm walking my dog. So
- 5:42Speaker 1: that was from Steph Thread. Goold apology, Steph Thread Gold.
- 5:45Speaker 1: That didn't Okay, last one? Fuck, there's a lot, okay, Okay, okay,
- 5:50Speaker 1: last one though, because I'm gonna do the top. So
- 5:52Speaker 1: it's called this side of Paradise. I like when we
- 5:57Speaker 1: don't know it. Yeah, this said of Paradi. You're not
- 6:02Speaker 1: gonna lie. I'm actually going to say that's a yes
- 6:04Speaker 1: from me. I'm going to say no, okay, yeah, no.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I feel like that's how recent makes me feel. So
- 6:10Speaker 1: that's that's describe I say it, but disagree.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I would play Big X and the plug. I'm the biggest,
- 6:18Speaker 2: the largest, oh you know, but that first one. I
- 6:25Speaker 2: like the Hasey one. Daddy's Home was the first one.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Daddy's Hawsey surprised me.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Surprise me. That suits him. But Daddy's Home literally one
- 6:33Speaker 1: hundred percent. When he just winnos in to the wedding
- 6:37Speaker 1: and he's like and and so it's like, Dad, he's home,
- 6:40Speaker 1: and why it's down right and quite down Yeah, and
- 6:43Speaker 1: it quite He goes hello, fair darling, and there's oh
- 6:46Speaker 1: for me. Okay, I'm sorry to the Spotify listeners and
- 6:54Speaker 1: the YouTube watches, but I like that. I really like that.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I think we can do it with Fair. Yeah, it
- 7:00Speaker 1: has still fairer. I was going to be a mix
- 7:02Speaker 1: Bago lollies. Yeah, it will be a mixed bags. But
- 7:05Speaker 1: I'm keen for character.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Yeah, but he said, at the same time, we're up
- 7:11Speaker 2: to chapter twenty five.
- 7:14Speaker 1: So yeah, we've read, We've read chapter twenty four. Yeah,
- 7:16Speaker 1: we changed things up a little bit this week. Yeah.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Someone said it's really annoying that you go to that.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So we actually read chapter twenty four. So next week
- 7:22Speaker 1: it'll be like from chapter twenty five to thirty five.
- 7:24Speaker 1: We're learning.
- 7:25Speaker 2: But before we get into it, Yeah, I want to
- 7:27Speaker 2: say a couple of things. We are both on the
- 7:29Speaker 2: dramatized audio slash reading at the same time vibes. Yeah,
- 7:34Speaker 2: and it's crazy game changing. Man, it is good. I'm
- 7:37Speaker 2: being teleported into it. Someone described it as watching your
- 7:40Speaker 2: movie with subtitles, and I think it's better than that.
- 7:42Speaker 1: No better.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Yeah, And one thing I wanted to ask you was,
- 7:45Speaker 2: you know how we figured out people called Tamlin tampon.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Do you know why that is? Okay?
- 7:51Speaker 2: Someone on Patreon plug told me, Okay.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Why do people call Tamplin tampon?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Tamlin, Tamplon, Tampon Hamlin.
- 7:57Speaker 1: That's the tug was Actually people called Tamlin Hampion because
- 8:02Speaker 1: he the only thing he's good for is going in
- 8:07Speaker 1: your vagina.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Wrong I like it though, it's because on iPhones auto
- 8:13Speaker 2: correct changes tamblint to tampon.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Ah, that's really my I thought I wanted to. I
- 8:20Speaker 1: thought it was because like he sucks all the life
- 8:21Speaker 1: out of you or something. It's really boring. Sorry, sorry,
- 8:27Speaker 1: I haven't addressed by a tire. Should we address that?
- 8:32Speaker 1: I just did a crazy good mood? Jake's got a
- 8:35Speaker 1: robe on.
- 8:35Speaker 2: If you're only listening, to be fair, this is what
- 8:37Speaker 2: you would read in your glasses.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I don't need these? Actually, are they full? Close? Yeah?
- 8:45Speaker 1: They're for reading? How the fuck do you read all
- 8:47Speaker 1: the time about them? No? I honestly like I can
- 8:49Speaker 1: read without them, like I can see and the doctor
- 8:52Speaker 1: and so the optomog just like I literally only went
- 8:54Speaker 1: for headaches. Oh okay, But he goes like, oh, look,
- 8:57Speaker 1: you do need it, but like one of my eyes
- 8:59Speaker 1: overcompence for the other, and so this is like better.
- 9:02Speaker 1: But he goes like, yeah, it's not that much. But
- 9:04Speaker 1: what would you prefer my dyslexia reading ability or wearing glasses? Yes?
- 9:09Speaker 1: Wearing glasses? Right? So chapter fourteen yes, okay, guys. So
- 9:19Speaker 1: Chapter fourteen was a nice little it's almost like a
- 9:21Speaker 1: little filler to be fair, some stuff happened, but a
- 9:24Speaker 1: little bit more information. So we ended off with I
- 9:26Speaker 1: believe we forgot to tell you that she at the
- 9:30Speaker 1: very end of chapter thirteen, which was again also the
- 9:33Speaker 1: end of part one, Yes, she was winnowed into a city,
- 9:36Speaker 1: into a home that felt very homey do didn't know
- 9:39Speaker 1: whose home it was. It was like a townhouse, And
- 9:42Speaker 1: then the chapter ends, and Part two starts with chapter fourteen. Yes.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Part two starts with recent saying welcome to my home, favorite,
- 9:50Speaker 1: home favorite, and she's like, what this is your home?
- 9:54Speaker 1: And he goes on about how so wards. I feel
- 9:57Speaker 1: like we haven't really weren't too much about what wards are,
- 9:59Speaker 1: but the word ward has been used a lot, and
- 10:01Speaker 1: I feel as though ward is like it's a spell.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I think award is like a spell.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Was the war the spell? So no one else could
- 10:09Speaker 2: get in over there?
- 10:10Speaker 1: So yeah, he said that this house is like heavily warded. Yeah,
- 10:12Speaker 1: and the only people that can winnow in is Fayrah.
- 10:16Speaker 1: When she learns how resand and more the only people
- 10:19Speaker 1: that can winnow in his family house Yeah, and yeah,
- 10:22Speaker 1: only people he trusts. And then also she can winno
- 10:25Speaker 1: in people she trusts if she so pleases. Yes, that's
- 10:27Speaker 1: if she learns how to winnowes, which she definitely will.
- 10:29Speaker 1: And basically this is all literally just from when she
- 10:36Speaker 1: was just like taken from the spring court saved and
- 10:38Speaker 1: she's like, I need to come with you, it says.
- 10:40Speaker 2: The chapter starts with House of Wind, and then they
- 10:44Speaker 2: winno into Reason's house and they're in.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, they're in, Yeah, Valarus Vlarus because he says we're
- 10:52Speaker 1: going to the city style of Virus, and at this
- 10:53Speaker 1: point she hasn't been outside, and she's like, why are
- 10:55Speaker 1: we going to a city if it's just going to
- 10:56Speaker 1: be ash and rubble because Amaranta literally crumbled everything in print,
- 11:00Speaker 1: and so she's like wigging out right, And then he
- 11:02Speaker 1: goes like they wino in and then there's a knock
- 11:05Speaker 1: at the door, and this is in a circle number one, Cassian,
- 11:08Speaker 1: number two, as Reel number three, Amrin all right, and
- 11:11Speaker 1: they're all outside going, come on, you locked us out?
- 11:14Speaker 1: Come on.
- 11:15Speaker 2: And at this point, before we understood who they.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Were, I because Asrian and cat it was said at
- 11:25Speaker 1: this time that Asrian and Azrin, Cassian and Asriel were
- 11:29Speaker 1: Allyrian warriors. I thought, what the fuck because Resen said
- 11:35Speaker 1: something about Allyrian warriors in a prior episode, prior chapter,
- 11:40Speaker 1: how bad they are, right, And we do go on
- 11:43Speaker 1: to learn more about it, but I was like, so,
- 11:44Speaker 1: why is he working with them? Why are they part
- 11:46Speaker 1: of it? Was in a circle and then Amrin no
- 11:48Speaker 1: idea had no thoughts on but basically he's like, oh,
- 11:53Speaker 1: you can meet them now or and she decides not.
- 11:56Speaker 1: What I suggest is you could get some rest. Yeah,
- 11:59Speaker 1: and she goes and get some, basically saying, Farah, you
- 12:01Speaker 1: look like Shita. But I also liked I don't know.
- 12:05Speaker 2: It made me feel really good that they were very
- 12:06Speaker 2: playful and had a lot of personality.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Cassie's got person now I think he's my favorite. Yeah,
- 12:14Speaker 1: I can't get you know what. I kind of like.
- 12:15Speaker 1: The thing I like about as Reel is like, first
- 12:18Speaker 1: of all, Pharaoh describes him as literally like the second
- 12:22Speaker 1: most handsome person she's ever seen. She said that about everyone.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Yea true. What's where's your standards? Yeah? I don't know.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I want Pharah to explain what I look like, just
- 12:31Speaker 1: because she's so nice to everyone. The most I said,
- 12:36Speaker 1: got nothing on recent but okay, So then she goes
- 12:39Speaker 1: up and her two favorite servants are there. Yeah, what
- 12:42Speaker 1: are their names again?
- 12:44Speaker 3: Remember Nouala, Yeah, and Caroline Cardwin, Carrodwin, Carriedwin and Nola
- 12:51Speaker 3: and they basically just get it ready for bed and
- 12:53Speaker 3: stuff and yeah, so well she.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Asked, She's like, who the fuck's that? It's just like
- 12:56Speaker 1: it's reasons in a circle, in a circle. And then
- 12:59Speaker 1: he also they ask a question, she asks another question
- 13:03Speaker 1: I think about, but one of them goes like, oh,
- 13:06Speaker 1: it's not our we are this is not our place
- 13:08Speaker 1: to answer. So, yeah, there's a lot of that I
- 13:10Speaker 1: find in this book. There's a lot of asking of
- 13:12Speaker 1: a question where it's going to explain a lot, and
- 13:15Speaker 1: then the person goes, that's not our story to tell.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And it's kind of like where's the gossip? Like I
- 13:20Speaker 1: live and breathe for gossip. Yeah, fucking gossip in this book, bro.
- 13:23Speaker 1: And at the end, phar started to question if you
- 13:26Speaker 1: ever return to the Spring courts? Yeah, in the end,
- 13:29Speaker 1: she started to think about, like I believe she finds
- 13:34Speaker 1: out in this chapter that the city that they are
- 13:36Speaker 1: in because she can see out the windows untouched. Yeah,
- 13:39Speaker 1: and she's like, how did Amarantha not touch this?
- 13:43Speaker 2: Now that's next chapter that's next chapter, okayap to end
- 13:45Speaker 2: at her asking about the inner circle in a circle,
- 13:48Speaker 2: and now we're up to chapter fifteenth.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Chapter fifteen, so this is the first chapter where so
- 13:54Speaker 1: she wakes up, the inner circle's gone, and they get
- 13:57Speaker 1: to go for a walk around the city. It's time
- 13:59Speaker 1: to explore more, okay. And she goes out and she's like,
- 14:04Speaker 1: it sounds like the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Were you picturing? I was picturing like a okay, here's
- 14:12Speaker 1: here I was. I was picturing Scottish vibes. Okay, So
- 14:17Speaker 1: because I have been to Edinburgh, must be nice old
- 14:21Speaker 1: old town in Edinburgh. So I was picturing old town
- 14:24Speaker 1: Edinburgh but surrounded by mountains.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I was picturing what's it called in Harry Potter,
- 14:32Speaker 2: the scene where he gets his wand what's that called?
- 14:35Speaker 1: I was picturing that, but likethway, what is that called?
- 14:44Speaker 1: Diagon Alley? Yes, diagon the good the good part of
- 14:48Speaker 1: this is a bad part. Yeah, so diagon Alley, but
- 14:50Speaker 1: like fancy Okay, I'm hearing that. I'm hearing that. So yeah, basically,
- 14:54Speaker 1: recent just gives her a tour of the city. It's
- 14:55Speaker 1: pretty sick and there's like they go, there's a river
- 15:01Speaker 1: through the city. It's also on the coast surrounded by mountains,
- 15:04Speaker 1: and the city's warm. Everyone's like wearing different things. There's
- 15:08Speaker 1: different fairies, high fay and she said that there's like cafes,
- 15:12Speaker 1: and then there's four different like centers. Is that the
- 15:18Speaker 1: right word. There are four different centers, And there's one
- 15:21Speaker 1: of them where it's like all meats, where it's all art,
- 15:23Speaker 1: one of them where it's all cafes and coffee shops,
- 15:25Speaker 1: one of where it's yeah.
- 15:26Speaker 2: And it was the first time Farah wasn't like they
- 15:30Speaker 2: didn't know who the fuck she was. She was wigging
- 15:32Speaker 2: out about who and no one was coming up to
- 15:34Speaker 2: racing and being, oh my god, my lord, yes, I
- 15:36Speaker 2: love said.
- 15:36Speaker 1: It was very weird because no one was looking at
- 15:38Speaker 1: her crying, even though yeah, even though she said, even
- 15:43Speaker 1: though she was with Recent, a couple of people came
- 15:45Speaker 1: up to racing, was like, what's up, bro? They shake
- 15:47Speaker 1: his hand and Recent knows everyone by name and basically
- 15:52Speaker 1: they're going for a walk and then she learns about
- 15:56Speaker 1: how I love how he goes. So that townhouse is
- 15:59Speaker 1: actually one of my two residents in the city. My
- 16:02Speaker 1: other one where I do my actual business is up
- 16:05Speaker 1: on that mountain peak yeah, fuck off higher Yeah. And
- 16:08Speaker 1: then it's called the House of Wind, Yes, and that's
- 16:11Speaker 1: where they do their business proceedings, and that's where we
- 16:13Speaker 1: will be having dinner led you tonight. Yeah.
- 16:16Speaker 2: But as they're walking, she's like, how the fuck is
- 16:18Speaker 2: this place legit? She's all upset Bahalas Larus, Belarus and
- 16:25Speaker 2: it's been hidden for a millennia, five thousand years.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and she this annoyed me.
- 16:29Speaker 2: She's like, oh, how are you able to everyone else
- 16:32Speaker 2: was suffering around you and you were able to make
- 16:34Speaker 2: this place so beautiful?
- 16:35Speaker 1: I was like, what a good job he did? Yeah,
- 16:38Speaker 1: I was. I was like, what do you expecting to do?
- 16:42Speaker 1: You can never please favor, honestly. Yeah, good point, that's
- 16:47Speaker 1: a great great So yeah, she's all upset about like,
- 16:52Speaker 1: how how could you keep this place safe and not
- 16:55Speaker 1: the rest Prithian's huge favor fucking kidding me, just because
- 17:00Speaker 1: you winnowed from one place to another, the whole town.
- 17:03Speaker 1: He saved us city. But he also did say that
- 17:06Speaker 1: like the city was unknown to Amarantha but also unknown
- 17:11Speaker 1: to everyone else in Prithian, and it's been that way
- 17:14Speaker 1: for five thousand years. He kept it that way, and.
- 17:16Speaker 2: When Amarantha was ruling, he would get into the mind
- 17:20Speaker 2: of anyone who knew and take that away or kill him,
- 17:23Speaker 2: destroy that.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Yeah, he's like talks about how like he did really
- 17:26Speaker 1: bad things to keep this city safe, but I'd do
- 17:28Speaker 1: it again. Yeah, I love that. I love how honest
- 17:30Speaker 1: he is.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Yeah, honestly he needs to teach fair a bit of
- 17:33Speaker 2: his mindset.
- 17:34Speaker 1: And he starts facts. He does start to talk about
- 17:38Speaker 1: his So he's got an inner circle and it's him,
- 17:42Speaker 1: his second in command Amron, Yes, third in command more, yes,
- 17:46Speaker 1: fourth in command is I believe either Asriel or Cassian.
- 17:50Speaker 1: And fifth in command is again either Asriel Kasian with
- 17:52Speaker 1: ves Vessa. And so he actually starts to he talks
- 17:55Speaker 1: a little bit about Amron. Yeah, he's not high fay
- 17:58Speaker 1: Amon's girl. She's a girl, yeah, and Amri. Amron's not
- 18:04Speaker 1: a fairy. I didn't really understand what she's a high phae.
- 18:06Speaker 1: She's something ancient. So she's older than Prithian itself. She
- 18:09Speaker 1: is older than the Prithian being sectioned in the courts. Basically,
- 18:15Speaker 1: he believes that she's a few millennia old. Which is
- 18:17Speaker 1: like a couple of thousand years old, and I think, yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 1: she's like eight thousand years old or something crazy like that.
- 18:23Speaker 1: But also there's like a crazy power that resides in
- 18:27Speaker 1: her and she can't use it, she can't fully use it.
- 18:30Speaker 1: And he just explains that, like he basically is saying, like,
- 18:35Speaker 1: just be nice at this dinner we're going to because
- 18:36Speaker 1: you're gonna meet her. Oh no, he is, because she's
- 18:39Speaker 1: more powerful than him. Yeah, she's, I dare say, the
- 18:41Speaker 1: most powerful in Prithian. And but she was reborn somehow.
- 18:46Speaker 2: She's the same as Farrah. Yeah, she's she's not exact same,
- 18:49Speaker 2: it's the same, Yeah, she was. What is it that
- 18:52Speaker 2: they're saying about Favor?
- 18:53Speaker 1: She was? What are they saying about is a human
- 18:58Speaker 1: turned into a fairy like a high phase? Right, But
- 19:02Speaker 1: so she's a high fae. She's an immortal body with
- 19:05Speaker 1: a mortal soul. Yes, she has a human's heart still,
- 19:07Speaker 1: but she has an immortal body. Yes, But she's the
- 19:10Speaker 1: only one of her kind. And so it's all like
- 19:12Speaker 1: kind of cool, cool, cook cook cool, right, she's got
- 19:14Speaker 1: all they think, she has all the powers of all
- 19:15Speaker 1: the high lords. Yes, And basically, while he's it's kind
- 19:20Speaker 1: of random. While he's explaining who Amrin is or are
- 19:24Speaker 1: they're talking about something, she accidentally slips into his mind,
- 19:27Speaker 1: past his shields, but she doesn't seem much apart from
- 19:31Speaker 1: herself through his eyes and she's like, holy shit, I
- 19:33Speaker 1: look like a fucking I look like shit. She's like,
- 19:37Speaker 1: I look terrible. No wonder. He's asking if I'm eating right,
- 19:41Speaker 1: I look terrible, and she's all like disgusting.
- 19:45Speaker 2: And then I believe well I realized that because she
- 19:49Speaker 2: slipped into recent minds.
- 19:50Speaker 1: He's like, oh yeah. He kind of goes he's again.
- 19:52Speaker 1: He's like, she's like, were your shields down? And he
- 19:55Speaker 1: goes no, like interesting. And the funny thing about recent
- 20:00Speaker 1: he he thinks all these things, and then she does
- 20:02Speaker 1: something and proves what he's thinking. But you never know
- 20:04Speaker 1: what he's thinking, so he'll go interesting. She goes, what
- 20:07Speaker 1: were your shields stand? He goes nah, and she's like
- 20:10Speaker 1: and then he's like, I'm thinking maybe because I was
- 20:15Speaker 1: one of the people to give you a part of
- 20:17Speaker 1: my power my shields, thought that you were me and
- 20:21Speaker 1: let you win. So basically, she's going to have the
- 20:24Speaker 1: fucking sickest dai Marti power there is. Yeah, that's what
- 20:26Speaker 1: it's called. Again, is it called de marti mind readers, Ye,
- 20:28Speaker 1: de marti, She's a de martih. Basically, it's fucking hectic.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's where chapter fifteen ends. And also no
- 20:34Speaker 2: one can Winno into the house.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Not a single person can wino into the house. Now.
- 20:39Speaker 1: His power is insane. What he can do Recent Yeah,
- 20:42Speaker 1: oh Recent build different, built, bloody different. I just want
- 20:48Speaker 1: to touch him, all right. Chapter sixteen Okay, so basically
- 20:55Speaker 1: she gets flown up to the house, yes, and she
- 21:00Speaker 1: gets all dressed up for it and ship and then
- 21:02Speaker 1: Recent flies rout of the house. Comments are going there
- 21:03Speaker 1: for dinner, and they land and they're talking and they're
- 21:06Speaker 1: doing that thing again. Actually I think they've done it
- 21:08Speaker 1: once before. This could be the first time they do
- 21:10Speaker 1: it where he's like, I don't know why he does it,
- 21:12Speaker 1: but he's kind of like getting her to talk, and
- 21:14Speaker 1: he's like, i'll tell you something if you tell me something.
- 21:16Speaker 1: They do like a thing for a thing. It's like
- 21:17Speaker 1: something no one knows. So they kind of give some
- 21:19Speaker 1: secrets and get to learn some stuff about Recent, learns
- 21:21Speaker 1: some stuff about Fairrh But then Cassian and Asrael, who
- 21:24Speaker 1: we haven't actually properly met yet. Yeah. They they come
- 21:27Speaker 1: and she talks about them in the and that's when
- 21:29Speaker 1: she goes like honestly, like she talks about Cassian being
- 21:32Speaker 1: like kind of I don't know, shorter in bulk and
- 21:34Speaker 1: like looks at Beast, and then she talks about as
- 21:36Speaker 1: She's like the much more handsome out of the two,
- 21:37Speaker 1: and I don't.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Know why she says that the dramatize I really like
- 21:41Speaker 2: Cassian's voice.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so sick. Yeahsian's voice sounds like a yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 1: I'd like to hang out with them. Yeah, and they're
- 21:48Speaker 1: both Illarian warriors and they kind of chitty chatty. And
- 21:52Speaker 1: then I think more comes in and so then was
- 22:01Speaker 1: the only one who dressed up to They're all like
- 22:02Speaker 1: chilling in like whatever they were wearing that day and yeah,
- 22:07Speaker 1: and so then they're all sitting down. Amoron arrives, so
- 22:10Speaker 1: Amoron's at the head reasons at the other head, and
- 22:12Speaker 1: I think no one started the head or something I
- 22:13Speaker 1: don't know, And then we start to learn a little
- 22:16Speaker 1: bit about like basically this whole dinner for Farah is
- 22:19Speaker 1: to see if she wants to work with them. And
- 22:21Speaker 1: I don't know if they know that, because they don't
- 22:22Speaker 1: only resent put that in. Yeah, yeah, and like they
- 22:27Speaker 1: they're just having a mad cash dinner, right, And first
- 22:30Speaker 1: of all, what I want to say is more and
- 22:35Speaker 1: as reeal be fucking oh I reckon, they've got to
- 22:39Speaker 1: be talking like the way that Far is like talking
- 22:41Speaker 1: about how they look at each other.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Yeah, she says it later on the book, She's like,
- 22:44Speaker 2: what's going on there?
- 22:45Speaker 1: And then reds like, don't meddle with this. Yeah, keep
- 22:47Speaker 1: that to yourself. You might not want to talk about that.
- 22:49Speaker 1: You want to keep that, keep that in the old
- 22:50Speaker 1: nog in there far because they're history there. You don't
- 22:54Speaker 1: know about you, young bitch.
- 22:56Speaker 2: So we learned about it. Yeah, we learned about them
- 22:59Speaker 2: in a circle. So Cassian was bastard born.
- 23:03Speaker 1: In the war camp. Yeah, boy, they're all bastards.
- 23:06Speaker 2: He was the best fighter re sense ever seen still is, yes,
- 23:12Speaker 2: and he well he's Cassian was the one who they're
- 23:17Speaker 2: in the camp together, and he was like a bastard
- 23:20Speaker 2: and had to go like live in the woods and stuff.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Yeah, so Cassiine was a bastard and in the Illyrians
- 23:25Speaker 1: are like fucked up, right, they're breed of fay, Like
- 23:29Speaker 1: they're not fairies even their breed of fucking whatever they are,
- 23:32Speaker 1: they're just like super fucked up and they're like really
- 23:34Speaker 1: bad to their women. And they are also just like
- 23:37Speaker 1: trained to be warriors, right, They're like really good at fighting,
- 23:40Speaker 1: and they have power, but only a few of them
- 23:43Speaker 1: have power, and the way that they use their power
- 23:45Speaker 1: is like their power is like super messy, Like their
- 23:48Speaker 1: magical power is super messy unless they have these like
- 23:50Speaker 1: stones that siphon it. They're called siphons, and then they
- 23:53Speaker 1: can actually like do shit with it, like makeshields and
- 23:55Speaker 1: swords and stuff. Cassian uh, Bastard. They basically just like
- 24:01Speaker 1: beast learning to fight and then Resend when he was young,
- 24:05Speaker 1: gets like he talks about his mother's backstory. Let's be real,
- 24:08Speaker 1: like it's kind of boring. Yeah, you just get to
- 24:09Speaker 1: like and then he goes in. They basically start training together,
- 24:15Speaker 1: and Cassium just like looks at recent and goes, ah,
- 24:17Speaker 1: little fucking high lord's son, Hey, let's go fucking how
- 24:20Speaker 1: about this we fight? If I win, I get your
- 24:21Speaker 1: clothes and he fights fucks up. They basically go both
- 24:25Speaker 1: get like lashings or some shit. But then he realizes
- 24:28Speaker 1: recent because he's like a high lord's son. At this
- 24:30Speaker 1: training in the Illyrian training camp, he gets to go
- 24:32Speaker 1: back to a tent and have a hot bath in
- 24:33Speaker 1: a bed, and then he sees outside that Cassian doesn't
- 24:36Speaker 1: have anything, and his mum's like, oh, he's a bastard. Like,
- 24:38Speaker 1: they have to fend for themselves, and if they survive,
- 24:41Speaker 1: they survive. If they don't, they don't. No one gives
- 24:42Speaker 1: a fuck. Yeah, And so he goes and wakes, casting
- 24:44Speaker 1: him up, brings him into his tent, and they still
- 24:46Speaker 1: hated each other. Yeah, but then they realize, like a
- 24:49Speaker 1: couple years later, even once Asrael he also then comes
- 24:52Speaker 1: to the camp again. Asuel's backstory we don't really own
- 24:54Speaker 1: much about. But he's just like a beast. But Asrael
- 24:57Speaker 1: is a shadow boruh, wasn't he a spy master? A
- 25:03Speaker 1: spymaster but he's a shadow whisperer. What does that do again?
- 25:06Speaker 1: So he just like talks to the shadows. It's a
- 25:09Speaker 1: very rare. And so they all trained together. Everyone hated them,
- 25:13Speaker 1: and then they realized, well, we shouldn't hate each other
- 25:14Speaker 1: because we should just like each other. Because everyone hates us,
- 25:18Speaker 1: why not, and then they started to love each other.
- 25:19Speaker 1: And then Resent's dad gets all scared about how fucking
- 25:22Speaker 1: strong they're going to be as a three keep them
- 25:24Speaker 1: up and splits them up. Recent goes to do something
- 25:28Speaker 1: with the war. Cassian is a foot soldier, and then
- 25:30Speaker 1: Asrael Has becomes Resent's dad's personal spy master and shadow
- 25:36Speaker 1: speaker or whatever, and basically, yeah, we just learned about
- 25:40Speaker 1: their roles and how the only two high fay in
- 25:47Speaker 1: the room are actually more and far. Yeah, Resand was born.
- 25:52Speaker 1: His mum's an Ellyrian and his dad is the high lord,
- 25:55Speaker 1: but he's not pure bred Hyphae. And then Cassian Allyrian
- 25:58Speaker 1: Azrael Allyrian Amrin who knows what the fuck she is?
- 26:00Speaker 2: Is that where we found out about Recent's mum and
- 26:03Speaker 2: how their dad met to and the dad saved her
- 26:06Speaker 2: and didn't clip her wings.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, so like the Allyrians to the to
- 26:09Speaker 1: the women as soon as they bleed, they clip their
- 26:11Speaker 1: wings because the way the reason that Recent has wings
- 26:16Speaker 1: is because he's part of Alyyrian and the Allyrians have wings,
- 26:19Speaker 1: and so she loved flying. She really tried everything to
- 26:21Speaker 1: knock at her period, and then when she finally got
- 26:23Speaker 1: her period, they were going to clip her wings and
- 26:25Speaker 1: they just used them for breeding. Resent's dad winoed in
- 26:30Speaker 1: to talk to the Ollyrians about something to do with
- 26:32Speaker 1: the war that was coming and noticed that she was
- 26:34Speaker 1: tied up about a good her wings clipped and they
- 26:36Speaker 1: had a mate bond, instantly got her out of there. Yeah, baby,
- 26:38Speaker 1: recent but yeah, that's why he went back to the
- 26:40Speaker 1: Allyrian camp. Yeah exactly.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And after they all open up to Fay, she then
- 26:46Speaker 2: tells her story yeah, which is like kind of boring competitor. Yeah,
- 26:50Speaker 2: which we know, we know her story. But at the
- 26:53Speaker 2: dead mom shit, dad.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Shit, sisters.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Cassian says and offers to train her. Yeah,
- 26:59Speaker 2: and that was the first time he realized that, uh,
- 27:03Speaker 2: Tamlin was so controlling, and he's.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Like, oh, these people were actually like want to help me. Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 1: She was like you want to train me? He's like,
- 27:11Speaker 1: what do you mean training? Like, wait, Tamlin and anti
- 27:14Speaker 1: U bruh the fuck. They really did want to keep
- 27:17Speaker 1: me powerless. And then she goes for some reason, I
- 27:21Speaker 1: don't know why, she doesn't just say yes straight away.
- 27:24Speaker 1: She wanted train This is my favorite Jarsby. She wanted
- 27:26Speaker 1: training from Tamlin. She wanted training from Lucien. She wanted
- 27:29Speaker 1: training from Anthe right, She's like, please, please, please please,
- 27:31Speaker 1: They're like no, no, no, no, no, Cassian the best
- 27:34Speaker 1: fighter in Printhian. I'll train you. I'll think about it.
- 27:38Speaker 1: What what oh crazy? She's jarring, she's jarring. But what
- 27:46Speaker 1: we learned about Moore's background her again, she was just
- 27:51Speaker 1: so many backgrounds. But that's what it is. Let's talk
- 27:52Speaker 1: about it. So basically, Resan's court is under a mountain, yes,
- 27:59Speaker 1: but he doesn't like that court. He calls that his occupation.
- 28:03Speaker 1: He actually likes Valaris Vilarus. That's his court, but his
- 28:09Speaker 1: dad's closest in a circle. Once Resend came into power,
- 28:13Speaker 1: he brought his current in a circle and he was like,
- 28:17Speaker 1: if people disagree, you disagree, I don't give a fuck.
- 28:19Speaker 1: You don't If you don't like, you can leave and
- 28:21Speaker 1: give a ship. And they left. And now what happens
- 28:23Speaker 1: is the court under the mountain called the Court of Nightmares,
- 28:26Speaker 1: which Nightmares, which more is from, is basically just like
- 28:30Speaker 1: its own court. It's you know, recent has nothing to
- 28:33Speaker 1: do with it, apart from the fact that he is
- 28:35Speaker 1: their high lord. But I think what happened was his
- 28:38Speaker 1: dad's ex in a circle basically just runs the court
- 28:41Speaker 1: of nightmares. Now they have their own lords and whatever
- 28:44Speaker 1: it is what it is, but more is from there,
- 28:46Speaker 1: and she just was mad powerful for it again she
- 28:50Speaker 1: got her period and their family was going to marry
- 28:53Speaker 1: her off to a powerful family because it makes her.
- 28:57Speaker 1: They're all hard to like get more and then her
- 29:00Speaker 1: family like yes, yeah, rich And then I don't really
- 29:03Speaker 1: remember how she got out, but she got out. How
- 29:07Speaker 1: many backstories? But it is what it is. There's so
- 29:08Speaker 1: many characters. And then Amorn. You don't really get a backstory.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Do you find out something about Amir and that she
- 29:13Speaker 1: just neat She does neat food, She eats something and
- 29:15Speaker 1: Bear is like, I don't want to learn what it is,
- 29:17Speaker 1: and I'm like, again, can you ask? Can you ask?
- 29:20Speaker 1: So I can fucking seriously, But we ended the dinner
- 29:24Speaker 1: with I think Resends kind of like can tell that
- 29:28Speaker 1: Fara is keen to work with them. So he goes, Okay,
- 29:33Speaker 1: what we're really here for the war and he goes,
- 29:37Speaker 1: I believe high Burn is going to come and he's
- 29:41Speaker 1: going to bring war with him, and I believe the
- 29:44Speaker 1: way he's going to do it. It's by resurrecting jury.
- 29:46Speaker 1: And I knew it when they said that Durian had
- 29:52Speaker 1: something to do with this in a Court of.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Thorns and Roses when they said it went missing, and
- 29:58Speaker 2: they're like, but how but hell, like, we resurrected Farah,
- 30:01Speaker 2: they can do it again, saying.
- 30:04Speaker 1: He's like, well we resurretor we can do it again.
- 30:07Speaker 1: And then they talk about how they need to go
- 30:08Speaker 1: to the prison and talk to the bone carver, which
- 30:13Speaker 1: is scary he may have answers, and Amron suggests only
- 30:18Speaker 1: far should speak to him. No, I think basically because
- 30:24Speaker 1: Amron's been in the jet so so yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 30:26Speaker 1: so so Amron Okay, So he says, the way we
- 30:30Speaker 1: get answers is we need to go to the prison
- 30:32Speaker 1: and we need to speak to the bone carver, just
- 30:34Speaker 1: to make sure because for some reason, the bone carveron
- 30:36Speaker 1: knows all because he's also ancient as fuck. And I
- 30:40Speaker 1: believe Cassian and Asrael and more all just like no,
- 30:44Speaker 1: come on, please, no, not that guy, not that guy.
- 30:48Speaker 1: And then I think Cassian is like no, no, as
- 30:53Speaker 1: Reel offers to go, yeah, that's what happened, and then
- 30:56Speaker 1: Resent goes he goes, no, if anyone's going it's fair,
- 31:02Speaker 1: and I I think someone suggests Amroon and she goes,
- 31:05Speaker 1: you know, I'm not going there.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Well, this is another we find out it was another
- 31:07Speaker 2: ploy from Reson to develop Favor's abilities. Yeah, but what
- 31:12Speaker 2: I liked at the end, I don't know if it
- 31:14Speaker 2: was the end of that chapter. No, I think it
- 31:15Speaker 2: was the end of this chapter. I think Sarah J.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Mass slash Favor like said, what's with all.
- 31:20Speaker 1: These fucking names? Because this chapter was long? Yeah, and
- 31:23Speaker 1: she's like, what bone carver? Like all these places and
- 31:26Speaker 1: it's just like why can't you call something for what
- 31:28Speaker 1: it is? Yeah? And then reasons just like huh wait
- 31:31Speaker 1: do you hear about the rest? Yeah? What did she say?
- 31:34Speaker 1: She goes, that was relatable. She was like, yeah, like,
- 31:35Speaker 1: what's with what's with all the names? Like? Why is
- 31:39Speaker 1: he called the bone carver? Why is this person called this?
- 31:41Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure it is when they're talking about the weaver,
- 31:44Speaker 1: which we'll get to. Yeah, I think that's just like
- 31:45Speaker 1: why why don't people just have names? And then what
- 31:48Speaker 1: does he say? He said it was something, Well, it
- 31:52Speaker 1: wasn't exactly this, It was like this on the other beginning. Yeah,
- 31:54Speaker 1: So it was kind of like just it's just wait,
- 31:56Speaker 1: don't jump to conclusions. Okay. So then chapter seventeen, so
- 32:00Speaker 1: from the dinner, they basically go back to bed, and
- 32:03Speaker 1: it kind of starts. She goes back, she's going to bed.
- 32:05Speaker 1: The next day, she's going to the prison. She's like,
- 32:07Speaker 1: fuck fuck, and then she has a crazy nightmare. Can't
- 32:11Speaker 1: remember what the nightmare is got to do with Amarantha.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I don't know she's gonna kill her or something. And
- 32:15Speaker 1: then she's freaking the hell out. And then she wakes
- 32:17Speaker 1: up to reesand who's coming. He's like, okay, you're okay,
- 32:20Speaker 1: You're okay, You're okay, You're okay. She's like, oh, oh,
- 32:23Speaker 1: I'm in Vilarus. It's me, I'm here, and blah blah
- 32:25Speaker 1: gets up, vomits cool again, what's new? Honestly, how do
- 32:28Speaker 1: you make someone vomit less? Quiet? More quiet? But she
- 32:32Speaker 1: vomits and then Reeson goes in comforts her, tells her
- 32:36Speaker 1: about a nightmare he has, and then she vomits again
- 32:39Speaker 1: and she goes. Next thing, I know, it's dawn, and
- 32:41Speaker 1: so then they he winnows her over to the Western
- 32:44Speaker 1: Aisle where the prison is, and you'll learn a little
- 32:47Speaker 1: bit about the prison. I only walk up there, so
- 32:50Speaker 1: you can only you can win go to the island,
- 32:51Speaker 1: but you can only walk up to the prison up
- 32:53Speaker 1: the mountain. And then it's older than Priythian. There is
- 32:58Speaker 1: prisoners in there that have been there since before Prithian
- 33:01Speaker 1: again had even been made.
- 33:03Speaker 2: And Bro sucks to be a fa and go to
- 33:05Speaker 2: jail because you can't die.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Fact. And then he resents the only one that can
- 33:13Speaker 1: send people there. So basically because it's in the night
- 33:18Speaker 1: court and he just has fallen under his jurisdiction. But
- 33:20Speaker 1: like he can't control it. He can send people there,
- 33:23Speaker 1: but he can't tell people like he can't sentencing, very
- 33:28Speaker 1: very serious. He can't pardon people in there, like he
- 33:30Speaker 1: can't have someone released from that prison. Yeah, so they
- 33:34Speaker 1: get there, they have to climb up, and basically Fairy
- 33:36Speaker 1: just goes, I can't do it. I can't do it,
- 33:37Speaker 1: and he winters at home. Boring. That's the end of
- 33:39Speaker 1: that chapter. So boring Chapter eighteen. Okay, so a lot
- 33:45Speaker 1: happened here, guys.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Yes, this is a very fundamental chapter.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Yeah. So basically she wakes up because the last chapter
- 33:53Speaker 1: ends of her getting Winno at home Reese is like,
- 33:54Speaker 1: no questions asked. I'm not going to force you to
- 33:56Speaker 1: do anything. It's your choice, which I do like about him. Yeah,
- 33:59Speaker 1: but I don't know push a bit. Yeah, it's a
- 34:01Speaker 1: bit soft. Yeah, it's a bit soft. But we didn't
- 34:03Speaker 1: mention she's so scared to go back into in quotes
- 34:06Speaker 1: some mouth. Yeah, she's just terrified to go in like caves. Yeah. Yeah,
- 34:10Speaker 1: And I'm kind of like, girl, you're literally immortal. What
- 34:12Speaker 1: they're going to do the same you were human? Yeah, exactly.
- 34:16Speaker 1: He owns his place, he fact bro. He says he
- 34:19Speaker 1: can't pardon someone, but let's be real, he probably could
- 34:22Speaker 1: if you wanted to. But so, yeah, he Pharaoh wakes up.
- 34:28Speaker 1: She wakes up to Amron and A's like, bitch, here
- 34:31Speaker 1: you go. Yeah. She's like, honestly, no wonder, you're so skinny,
- 34:34Speaker 1: you vomit every night. There's such a pussy. And then
- 34:37Speaker 1: she goes here, I was a prison in Yeah, I
- 34:42Speaker 1: was a prisoner for a long time.
- 34:45Speaker 2: I was a fucking prisoner in that bitch for but
- 34:47Speaker 2: so recent said he can't get anyone out.
- 34:49Speaker 1: How'd she get out? With the amulet that she gives
- 34:52Speaker 1: three favor I don't know how she got the amulet,
- 34:54Speaker 1: but she goes, Okay, take this. This is the This
- 34:59Speaker 1: amulet is dead set the only reason I got out.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I love how she's like, take this, but if you
- 35:02Speaker 1: don't give it back, but you're dead. Yeah, take this
- 35:06Speaker 1: if you're if you if you're wearing this ambulance, you
- 35:09Speaker 1: they cannot hold you in this prison. But if you
- 35:13Speaker 1: try to keep it? Do you fill my wrath?
- 35:15Speaker 2: When I read that, I was like, do you know
- 35:17Speaker 2: how the placebo effect? You know, like if you're sick
- 35:20Speaker 2: and someone gives you like a peelback, this will make
- 35:22Speaker 2: you better, and it doesn't do anything, but you feel better.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Do you reckon that bracelet actually did anything? No? I reckon.
- 35:27Speaker 1: She was just like, I'm sick of this between a pussy,
- 35:30Speaker 1: Like seriously, we were on a time crunchy, were a
- 35:32Speaker 1: bit of a Durian is gonna be resurrected tomorrow? But
- 35:39Speaker 1: basically so then now she can go in. Yes, but
- 35:42Speaker 1: and she learns a fair bit more about Asrael Cassian
- 35:45Speaker 1: and more and stuff. But again we was like tortured
- 35:49Speaker 1: by brothers and stuff. Let's let's let's let's leave it
- 35:52Speaker 1: up to the reader. So then let's get to do
- 35:54Speaker 1: the good stuff in the prison. Let's get to the
- 35:56Speaker 1: good stuff. They go into the prison, She's shit scared.
- 35:58Speaker 1: She's like, what's going on in here? But they just
- 36:01Speaker 1: keep going down, down, down, down down.
- 36:03Speaker 2: First of all, you can hear all like people are there,
- 36:06Speaker 2: but you can't see him, yes, yeah, or their souls.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like people can She can hear them behind
- 36:11Speaker 1: the walls, but you can't see anything. She's like, we've
- 36:16Speaker 1: got to be near the fucking bone carver by now, bro,
- 36:20Speaker 1: And he's like, honestly, the bone carve of this guy,
- 36:22Speaker 1: he's kept beneath the roots of the mountain. We've got
- 36:24Speaker 1: to go deep, and I want to know what he did.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Surprisingly, he was very helpful though, oh yeah yeah yeah,
- 36:30Speaker 2: And did reason explain before they went in. You'll see
- 36:34Speaker 2: him completely different to what I doude.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Yeah, he goes She's like, what do you look like? Yeah,
- 36:38Speaker 1: he's like, honestly, he looks the way you want him
- 36:41Speaker 1: to see him. So you could see him one way
- 36:43Speaker 1: and I could see him a completely different way. Yeah. Okay.
- 36:46Speaker 1: So then she goes in and we won't say how
- 36:48Speaker 1: recenses him yet because but we'll say so she goes
- 36:51Speaker 1: in and basically he's like this little eight year old
- 36:55Speaker 1: boy which has to play a part in something because
- 36:58Speaker 1: because he's got to play a part in something because
- 37:00Speaker 1: of what resents And you know my prediction, how I
- 37:07Speaker 1: said fairly gets pregnant last episode, I said that, oh,
- 37:12Speaker 1: she gets pregnant with Dorek and she's seeing her son
- 37:14Speaker 1: in the future, because why else would you see it?
- 37:18Speaker 1: Now you're old boy? Whoa, That's what I was thinking. Anyway.
- 37:22Speaker 1: I liked what you think because I was like, why
- 37:23Speaker 1: the fun would you see a kid? I didn't think
- 37:25Speaker 1: that deeply. I liked to what everythink. Yeah, but I
- 37:31Speaker 1: think I don't think. Basically, they go in there and
- 37:34Speaker 1: the bone carver is like when you listen to the
- 37:36Speaker 1: graphic audios, it's scary little bit. Yeah, I was scared,
- 37:39Speaker 1: I say, but recent throws him a couple of bones
- 37:43Speaker 1: and he's like, here, these are the bones that Parry
- 37:45Speaker 1: used to kill the worm, the worm of Midguard or
- 37:47Speaker 1: whatever it's called. And he was like, oh damn. And
- 37:49Speaker 1: even she goes, I didn't know anyone kept that. But
- 37:52Speaker 1: like you, he's the bone caver for a reason. I
- 37:54Speaker 1: don't know you're gonna givehim bones and ship and then
- 37:56Speaker 1: basically he just knows all this stuff, right was it?
- 37:59Speaker 2: Like you got tell me something, and I'll tell you something,
- 38:01Speaker 2: and then tells how she was resurrected.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Yep, and then reasons like, don't give too much your urn, bitch. Yeah.
- 38:09Speaker 1: So he goes like a truth for a truth again, right,
- 38:12Speaker 1: He's like he asks a question, He's like, what did
- 38:14Speaker 1: you see when you were dead? And he knew who
- 38:17Speaker 1: Favor was and stuff without even having met her. She
- 38:19Speaker 1: goes on and he asks six more questions or something
- 38:22Speaker 1: like that, five more questions and then Racen goes, stop,
- 38:26Speaker 1: you said truth for a truth? You're at six. He's like, fuck,
- 38:30Speaker 1: excuse me for being interested in death, bro. All right,
- 38:33Speaker 1: she's like one of three people to be resurrected, Okay,
- 38:35Speaker 1: Like I'm just interested. And so she goes on about
- 38:38Speaker 1: stuff she even talks about, like basically she gets to
- 38:41Speaker 1: ask some questions then and what they learn about is,
- 38:44Speaker 1: which we haven't had too much to do with, is
- 38:46Speaker 1: the cauldron. Yes, so the cauldron and everyone, like you
- 38:49Speaker 1: know how like people in our world will be like,
- 38:51Speaker 1: oh my god, people will be like, oh by the
- 38:53Speaker 1: cauldron in Prithian and so the cauldron is what made everything. Yes,
- 38:57Speaker 1: and the cauldron was all powerful, did all these things,
- 39:01Speaker 1: but then some bad people got their hands on it,
- 39:02Speaker 1: and then it did all bad things. And then again
- 39:04Speaker 1: more good people came in to try and steal it.
- 39:06Speaker 1: And he gives the whole history on the cauldron. And
- 39:08Speaker 1: then what happened was the cauldron itself got put in
- 39:11Speaker 1: a lake but disappeared years ago. What happened was the
- 39:15Speaker 1: feet of the coldron got ripped off. Doesn't really do
- 39:18Speaker 1: much to the power, he said. It's the equivalent of
- 39:20Speaker 1: like ripping the tip of your finger off. It takes
- 39:22Speaker 1: away some of your abilities, but not all of your abilities.
- 39:24Speaker 1: But they were hidden in three separate temples, temples. Two
- 39:31Speaker 1: of those temples have just been ransacked by Highburns fucking
- 39:34Speaker 1: little spies. Bro because Highburn has the cauldron. Yes, and
- 39:42Speaker 1: he also has two of the feet of the caldron
- 39:44Speaker 1: because he needs all the cauldron's power too. Yes, resurrect Durian,
- 39:50Speaker 1: because they say to him, they ask him in theory,
- 39:55Speaker 1: if you have an eyeball and a finger of someone
- 39:58Speaker 1: who was dead, could you resurrect them with And He's like,
- 40:01Speaker 1: well no, but was the soul attached and the soul
- 40:05Speaker 1: is attached to the eye of Durian's eye. Yeah, so
- 40:07Speaker 1: he's kind of like, yeah, bro, Durian's coming back. Yeah,
- 40:10Speaker 1: it's funny.
- 40:10Speaker 2: So Durian though, so he's been his soul's attached through
- 40:15Speaker 2: his eye, so his eyes. Obviously he's just been able
- 40:17Speaker 2: to see the past fifty years of Amarantha ruling. He's
- 40:20Speaker 2: obviously going to get resurrected. But like, but here's the thing,
- 40:24Speaker 2: what's that done to him? The war was five hundred
- 40:27Speaker 2: years ago?
- 40:28Speaker 1: Mmmm, so he's seen some more shit. Yeah, like Amarantha
- 40:32Speaker 1: only came back, yeah, fifty years ago, like a couple
- 40:34Speaker 1: hundred years ago, and then like gained all the trust
- 40:36Speaker 1: and shit.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Yeah, but we are then introduced to potentially how to
- 40:42Speaker 2: combat the cauldron.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Maybe. Yes, he does kind of go on and goes.
- 40:46Speaker 1: But there is a thing called the Book of Breathings,
- 40:49Speaker 1: and the Book of Breathings after the war was ripped
- 40:52Speaker 1: in two. One of them went to one of the
- 40:55Speaker 1: high lords of Prithian, the Summer Court by the way,
- 40:57Speaker 1: the high Lord of the Summer Court. The other to
- 40:59Speaker 1: the Queen of the Mortal Lands. Yes, now, what has
- 41:02Speaker 1: happened with these two books is the high Lord of
- 41:06Speaker 1: the Summer Court has put a blood spell on that book,
- 41:10Speaker 1: so if anyone that is not of his blood was
- 41:13Speaker 1: to even look for that book in his court, the
- 41:16Speaker 1: book would turn into dust lost forever, which is needed
- 41:20Speaker 1: because what this book does when it's put together, has
- 41:22Speaker 1: the spells to almost like render the cauldron useless. Yes,
- 41:27Speaker 1: because what the cauldron can do is bring people back
- 41:29Speaker 1: from the dead and shut of the wall. Imagine Amarantha
- 41:33Speaker 1: comes back. That'd be cool, that'd be cool story.
- 41:37Speaker 2: But also they say only someone made like Faarr or
- 41:41Speaker 2: Durian can use it.
- 41:43Speaker 1: So that's why favor is the key. Yeah, that's why
- 41:47Speaker 1: fair is the key. What else we find out? I
- 41:50Speaker 1: think that was the end.
- 41:51Speaker 2: It is basically Resan was only assuming that king and
- 41:55Speaker 2: the King of Piburn had the cauldron.
- 41:57Speaker 1: But it was like, yeah, I was right, that's good.
- 41:59Speaker 1: He kind of knew it. And then and and and
- 42:01Speaker 1: so he's like to the Bone Karver, who has the culture, Yeah,
- 42:06Speaker 1: and Bone Carver's like, you already know, Yeah, you just
- 42:09Speaker 1: came me to get the fucking truth. Just came me
- 42:10Speaker 1: to get the actual one truth. You already know. The
- 42:13Speaker 1: King of Hiburn and then when they leave, she's like,
- 42:17Speaker 1: I saw an eight year old boy, would you see?
- 42:19Speaker 1: And he goes, I saw jury. Where's bro I saw
- 42:23Speaker 1: fucking jury? Which almost you know what it does, I
- 42:26Speaker 1: reckon it confirms that Durian is going to come back.
- 42:29Speaker 2: I think he's definitely gonna come back. They're going to
- 42:31Speaker 2: be able to stop it. But that was the end
- 42:33Speaker 2: of chapter eighteen, and we're up to chapter nineteen.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Guys, Yeah, we got ship to talk about. They go
- 42:38Speaker 1: back to the House of Wind, they talk to the
- 42:40Speaker 1: Inner Circle. They say what they learn from the bone
- 42:42Speaker 1: Kava cuckoo cuckoo. Cool? Right. Basically, Fayrah is the only
- 42:47Speaker 1: one that can actually touch and or read said Book
- 42:50Speaker 1: of Breathing, but they need to be able to locate it.
- 42:53Speaker 1: Now the only now recent believes that she can locate it,
- 42:59Speaker 1: and the reason being is because the high Lord of
- 43:05Speaker 1: the Summer Court is like part of favor basically as
- 43:08Speaker 1: tracking ability, so like basically she should be able to
- 43:11Speaker 1: track anything. And the reason he believes this is because
- 43:13Speaker 1: he got she got past his walls, his shields, and
- 43:16Speaker 1: so now that he's like, well, basically, if that's true,
- 43:19Speaker 1: like if what I think is true, you can actually
- 43:21Speaker 1: track anything that any of the high lords have hidden.
- 43:24Speaker 1: And so he's like, let's test this shit. I have
- 43:28Speaker 1: something I lost and the person who has it is
- 43:31Speaker 1: the Weaver's like, what the fuck is the Weaver? And
- 43:33Speaker 1: then and then she this is when she starts going
- 43:35Speaker 1: why doesn't anyone just have a name? But basically Cassie
- 43:38Speaker 1: and Azrael and Moore don't do it, or like what idiot,
- 43:41Speaker 1: don't send her to the Wever. I imagine if like
- 43:47Speaker 1: a sitcom man the Weaver like what's the and so
- 43:52Speaker 1: he's like, kind of what happens here is like they
- 43:56Speaker 1: go on, they kind of go off topic for a
- 43:58Speaker 1: minute and they go, okay, cool. So basically we're gonna
- 44:02Speaker 1: test if you can track shit because you're gonna go
- 44:05Speaker 1: get my thing from the Weaver. Cool. Then what we're
- 44:07Speaker 1: gonna do is try and go to the Summer Court
- 44:08Speaker 1: so you can track that shit from the hard one.
- 44:10Speaker 1: But also, I want you to be my emissary, all right,
- 44:12Speaker 1: I want you to be my emissary of the Night
- 44:14Speaker 1: Court to the human Realm or something whatever it's called. Yes,
- 44:17Speaker 1: And she's like, okay, cool, your girl, your your sister's manner,
- 44:21Speaker 1: just a it's a good neutral base. We need that
- 44:24Speaker 1: shit because we need to get the trust of the humans.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Because what we need is there's a spell put on
- 44:31Speaker 1: the mortal queens, the human Queen's Book of Breathings, because
- 44:36Speaker 1: they got half of it. The spell that was put
- 44:38Speaker 1: on that is that the only way anyone can get
- 44:43Speaker 1: that book is if they receive it from a queen,
- 44:46Speaker 1: via the queen choosing to give it to them because
- 44:48Speaker 1: they trust them or turns to dust.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and her being the necessary would allude to the
- 44:55Speaker 2: queen's trusting.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Favor, yes, because she used to be human. Yes, So
- 45:00Speaker 1: it also about that. With that, they say, all right,
- 45:03Speaker 1: you're gonna get the trust of these queens. But also
- 45:06Speaker 1: puts two and two together and this so we're getting
- 45:08Speaker 1: a book, right, Yeah, I've only just been able to
- 45:10Speaker 1: reach Yeah yeah yeah, And he's like, girl, hands up, yeah,
- 45:15Speaker 1: part of my plan all along.
- 45:16Speaker 2: And then she was just like, oh, so you want
- 45:19Speaker 2: me to read because of these things, like to be honest,
- 45:20Speaker 2: like everyone should be able to read.
- 45:22Speaker 1: He's like, fairy, it was embarrassing. Yeah, it was embarrassing
- 45:24Speaker 1: that and then he's sort of like, don't judge me
- 45:26Speaker 1: for it, and she's like, oh, to be honest, that
- 45:27Speaker 1: kind of makes sense. He's like, it's hard to judge, judge,
- 45:31Speaker 1: but so yeah. Basically, he goes on to say, like,
- 45:35Speaker 1: when we go to the Weaver's layer, yeah, you should
- 45:39Speaker 1: feel almost drawn to my item, Okay, And she's like,
- 45:43Speaker 1: what if I don't. I'm not going to tell you
- 45:44Speaker 1: what it is because that defeats the purpose. No, the
- 45:47Speaker 1: weaver could hide it and it could be anything. True
- 45:49Speaker 1: that the weaver could have turned it into anything. Yes, yes,
- 45:52Speaker 1: so it could be anything. So when you go in there,
- 45:54Speaker 1: she's actually not going to know you're there. Yeah, she's
- 45:56Speaker 1: just blind and death and death all right, but her
- 45:59Speaker 1: other sensors do not. She is fucking dangerous, right, Yeah,
- 46:03Speaker 1: And so when you go in there, you should feel
- 46:05Speaker 1: drawn to it. Now again, only touch my thing because
- 46:11Speaker 1: you will be invisible when you touch it. Stitch up
- 46:14Speaker 1: for bloody from recent and they're out there buff ditch up.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Yeah, he lied, and so then and then yeah, and
- 46:21Speaker 2: he says, here's like a little knife if you take
- 46:23Speaker 2: a sword or something in there.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Sure, no, I don't know to know. So that's the
- 46:26Speaker 1: end of chapter nineteen. Yeah, chapter twenty, this is the
- 46:29Speaker 1: Weaver's test.
- 46:31Speaker 2: But so they we know there and they're no, Cassian says,
- 46:34Speaker 2: Cassian really doesn't want it to go.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Cassian's like, no, no, don't do this to fair, don't
- 46:38Speaker 2: it's not fair, which is kind of like alluding to
- 46:40Speaker 2: the fact of how much of a beast the Weaver is.
- 46:42Speaker 2: And they walk away or something, Cassie, they like, we're
- 46:44Speaker 2: doing it anyway.
- 46:45Speaker 1: They just leave. They win know that they wino to
- 46:46Speaker 1: the cottage Neutral Forest. Yeah, and we find out the
- 46:49Speaker 1: neutral forest is the same area of land that under
- 46:53Speaker 1: the mountain, So Amarantha's under the mountains it was, but
- 46:56Speaker 1: and that neutral land is like the middle of Prithian
- 46:59Speaker 1: where there's no laws. Even Amarantha was scared to take
- 47:03Speaker 1: it over or you know, Amarantha didn't go after Reason
- 47:06Speaker 1: was trying to stitch Amrantha up and be like yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 47:08Speaker 1: take it, it's worth it, and she didn't fall. So
- 47:10Speaker 1: he basically the Weaver is fucking crazy powerful because she
- 47:13Speaker 1: could have killed amaranthon.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and now we're sending far in doesn't make any sense,
- 47:17Speaker 2: and far is like now deprived or whatever. Yeah, but
- 47:21Speaker 2: this is funny. So they're talking about Cassian and how
- 47:26Speaker 2: does reason bring it up. He's did it in such
- 47:27Speaker 2: a playful and he.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Goes, yeah, he's kind of like so much to Cassian's
- 47:32Speaker 1: like despair, and then she's like, oh, so yeah, he
- 47:34Speaker 1: just cares about my well being and he's like, honestly,
- 47:36Speaker 1: I think Cassie just wants to fun. Yeah, that was
- 47:37Speaker 1: what he said. He just wants to fun. And she
- 47:39Speaker 1: goes pig and then he's like, yeah, I think he
- 47:42Speaker 1: just he's he's offered to help.
- 47:44Speaker 2: And then she actually took the bait and she's just like, well,
- 47:48Speaker 2: if he wants to fuck, send him to my room tonight.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Yeah. I was kind of like and then and then
- 47:53Speaker 1: recently just like, well, you got to survive the weaver.
- 47:56Speaker 1: And then she kind of realizes that he's distracting her
- 48:00Speaker 1: because like flirtatious banter is what like distracts her. He
- 48:03Speaker 1: knows her. And so then as she's about to go in,
- 48:06Speaker 1: he's like, did you like it when I was on
- 48:07Speaker 1: my knees for you? The other he was like suiting
- 48:10Speaker 1: her up to go somewhere, and he was like, did
- 48:12Speaker 1: you like it when I was on my knees for you? Yeah,
- 48:14Speaker 1: It's like I could feel it through the bond.
- 48:18Speaker 2: It's sort of like, oh, I've definitely you've done this
- 48:21Speaker 2: with girl, you know, when you're like talking to a
- 48:22Speaker 2: girl like you both don't want to admit it.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and you're like what about what about Jake? And
- 48:27Speaker 1: then she's like shut up. When I was reading this,
- 48:30Speaker 1: I was fucking like, I feel like my heart was attention.
- 48:33Speaker 1: I was beating.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Yeah, but this I wanted to say. This chapter with
- 48:37Speaker 2: the dramatized audio, bro game change, game changer.
- 48:41Speaker 1: So Favor has to go into the Weaver's cottage. The
- 48:46Speaker 1: door was open. I was picturing. I don't think you've
- 48:49Speaker 1: seen this. Have you seen this Sword and the Stone.
- 48:51Speaker 1: It's like an iconic TV show. It's like a cottage in.
- 48:54Speaker 2: The middle of the woods. It's a crazy witch in there, Okay,
- 48:57Speaker 2: And I was picturing that this time, little thing. It
- 49:00Speaker 2: was almost mortal and she so Favorite goes in the
- 49:03Speaker 2: doors open. I was like, weird, And she's singing, and
- 49:06Speaker 2: the dramatized audio of the sin.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Was scary creepy. Bro. Yeah, and she looks like a
- 49:12Speaker 1: little girl, black hair, skinny, frail. You don't see her
- 49:16Speaker 1: face for a while, and she's weaving. She's like, I
- 49:19Speaker 1: came here on weaving day, she's like and she's like
- 49:22Speaker 1: looking at this back wall and she's like, bro, what
- 49:23Speaker 1: the fuck is All day she's like, is that human?
- 49:26Speaker 1: And like fay Skin, it's like all these like fucking.
- 49:29Speaker 2: I always picturing like you know, one of those old
- 49:31Speaker 2: sewing machines, and like that's what it is. That's what
- 49:33Speaker 2: it's been going in it and then weaving into like
- 49:35Speaker 2: almost a cone of weed, that's.
- 49:37Speaker 1: What it is. But basically she's in there, I don't
- 49:40Speaker 1: feel anything. I don't feel anything, and then she feel
- 49:42Speaker 1: a tug.
- 49:43Speaker 2: She kept like it is a very intense situation. But
- 49:46Speaker 2: then she kept like thinking of thoughts about just like oh,
- 49:49Speaker 2: I'm back, like just talking. She was talking about like
- 49:51Speaker 2: how she's scared still, and then she's like talking about
- 49:54Speaker 2: Tamil in.
- 49:54Speaker 1: A little bit. I was like, bitch, like think about
- 49:57Speaker 1: what you're doing. Yeah, speaking about the project a hand,
- 50:00Speaker 1: yeah legit. But yeah, something starts to call her. So
- 50:04Speaker 1: she goes over tippy toes, finds it, picks it up,
- 50:08Speaker 1: and then boom, doors closed, the weaver goes silent. Yeah,
- 50:12Speaker 1: and we're like, oh fuck. And then that's the next chapter. Yeah,
- 50:16Speaker 1: Chapter twenty one, the Weaver stops singing and she goes,
- 50:23Speaker 1: who was in my cottage? And we're like, oh fuck.
- 50:27Speaker 1: And when in the in the graphic audio when she
- 50:29Speaker 1: says he's in my courage, I'm kind of like, oh shit,
- 50:31Speaker 1: I'm in you're fucking I mean, you're scared. And then
- 50:35Speaker 1: Parah looks at the door. She's like, I've got the ring.
- 50:37Speaker 1: She finds a ring. By the way, who cares, that's
- 50:39Speaker 1: what the things she found is. She found a ring.
- 50:42Speaker 1: And then she's like, oh shit, okay. She's like, I
- 50:44Speaker 1: could bolt for the door, bolts, door closes, locked, no handle,
- 50:50Speaker 1: goes to the window window there, but you can't go
- 50:52Speaker 1: through it. It's like fucking shielded or some shit. She's like,
- 50:55Speaker 1: oh my god, what do I do? Where does she go?
- 50:57Speaker 1: Upper fucking chimney bro No, So the Weaver looked at her.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Then we find out that Weaver's eyes are just like
- 51:02Speaker 2: bags and they're black and scary. And then she's like
- 51:05Speaker 2: holy shit. And then there's a candle next to the
- 51:07Speaker 2: Weaver and she like sneaks around and throws it on
- 51:10Speaker 2: all the fucking Weavy cones, yeah, and puts everything on fire,
- 51:13Speaker 2: and the scary dramatized audios.
- 51:15Speaker 1: The weavers like ah.
- 51:17Speaker 2: And then she goes for the chimney and she's climbing
- 51:20Speaker 2: through and there's human or faith fat.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Being burned in the chimney.
- 51:25Speaker 2: It's disgusting, yeah, and the weaver basically eats yeah. And
- 51:30Speaker 2: then Fayra is going up the chimney and she's like, really,
- 51:33Speaker 2: I'm so weak, Tamblin's made.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Me so Tamilin Tamlin talon taalain that. How about have
- 51:38Speaker 1: a fucking crack faivre. And then she gets stuck in
- 51:40Speaker 1: there and then the weaver comes up and be like, oh,
- 51:42Speaker 1: who's trying to escape through my chimney, grabs a brick,
- 51:45Speaker 1: throws it in her face. She throws it fa The
- 51:48Speaker 1: weavers fight and she forces herself. She's like, I am strong,
- 51:51Speaker 1: I am a wolf. I am the wolf. I am
- 51:55Speaker 1: not the fucking dough. I am the wolf. And then
- 51:58Speaker 1: she gets out somehow and she gets up on the
- 52:00Speaker 1: She gets up on the roof and she's like she
- 52:01Speaker 1: thinks it's the thatcher roof and she realizes it's not
- 52:03Speaker 1: its hair. Yeah, jumps on a tree. The weavers like,
- 52:07Speaker 1: run outside, who's on my roof? She jumps under a tree,
- 52:10Speaker 1: runs on the tree branches. She's like, this is my
- 52:12Speaker 1: boys in my game. And then she said, like, where's
- 52:15Speaker 1: sad where you can hear the weaver in the distance.
- 52:18Speaker 1: She's like whatever, cool, I'm out. And then she finds
- 52:20Speaker 1: Resand and she's like, Reasons, like, what did you do? Like,
- 52:24Speaker 1: he didn't really make that subtle. He was so chill
- 52:27Speaker 1: about it, but yeah, he was so scary, but so yeah,
- 52:30Speaker 1: he realized. Basically, she realized that Recent lied and wanted
- 52:34Speaker 1: her to be seen to see how she would handle
- 52:36Speaker 1: a stressful situation, and she didn't very well, and so
- 52:40Speaker 1: it urges her to go back and she does ask
- 52:42Speaker 1: Cassie and to train her.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and then we found out that I was thinking
- 52:45Speaker 2: at this point the ring was going to be some
- 52:47Speaker 2: like really important thing and then basically it was Recent's
- 52:52Speaker 2: mothers and he got it, and then the mother took
- 52:54Speaker 2: it back and then gave it to the weaver for keepsake. Yeah,
- 52:57Speaker 2: for keepsake and reason when he was ready, he was
- 52:59Speaker 2: eventually going to take a somehow and he's like.
- 53:00Speaker 1: Oh, he's my opportunity. He's like, well, I'm as well
- 53:02Speaker 1: get it and see, like the ring doesn't even do it,
- 53:05Speaker 1: probably ask fair to marry some shit I don't know.
- 53:08Speaker 1: But and then he is like, well, if you're gonna
- 53:12Speaker 1: get cast in to train you, then you should train
- 53:13Speaker 1: your powers too. And she's like, who's going to train
- 53:15Speaker 1: me you and he's like yeah, and he's like, honestly,
- 53:17Speaker 1: you and I will kill each other. And he goes, hey,
- 53:19Speaker 1: that'll be fun. And so then he says, try and
- 53:24Speaker 1: get through my shielder was good. She tries, and he goes,
- 53:28Speaker 1: look valiant effort but sloppy. But try again, tries again, nothing,
- 53:34Speaker 1: but then he lets her into a very little secluded
- 53:37Speaker 1: memory because he's powerful. Fuck, he can do that, and
- 53:40Speaker 1: he actually traps her in. She's like, I can't get
- 53:43Speaker 1: out of his memory, bro, and he's like just stay,
- 53:46Speaker 1: just wait, and the memory is Ianthe on his bed,
- 53:50Speaker 1: buck naked, Titti's out fucking legs open, legs open, and
- 53:55Speaker 1: he's like walking into his room and you hear. And
- 53:58Speaker 1: then she just says something I don't know, and then
- 54:01Speaker 1: he goes, get out, get get out of my She
- 54:05Speaker 1: kind of talks about she talks about anthy looking kind
- 54:08Speaker 1: of sex. He's like, perky boo. Yeah, And so reason's
- 54:12Speaker 1: like get out, and she's like, breed with me.
- 54:14Speaker 2: We can have the best the most powerful offspring yep
- 54:16Speaker 2: in all of Priythian yep. And he's like, bitch, get out.
- 54:20Speaker 2: And then she's like no, and he sort of like
- 54:22Speaker 2: uses his power to like pin her back. It's actually sick.
- 54:25Speaker 1: She comes up, she gets up and she she's like
- 54:28Speaker 1: in the memory pharaohs watching the memory, and she's like
- 54:30Speaker 1: she gets out of the bed and each step those
- 54:32Speaker 1: perky boobs having a slight bounce, it's like, what's the detail.
- 54:34Speaker 1: I was like, thanks, but okay. And then she's like
- 54:37Speaker 1: comes near Resent Recent uses his power and she just
- 54:40Speaker 1: flies back or some shit, and he's like, get out
- 54:43Speaker 1: of my court. Do not touch any of the men
- 54:45Speaker 1: in my court or you know, or else film my wrath.
- 54:48Speaker 1: And then she comes back over and she's like, come on, Recent,
- 54:50Speaker 1: like think about how babies, think about how powerful they
- 54:53Speaker 1: could be, thinking about what we could do, think about
- 54:55Speaker 1: what we could do. And then she goes to grab
- 54:57Speaker 1: his dick. Anthony goes to grab his dick. Yet no, no, no,
- 55:01Speaker 1: and he's like power, her hand stops, reaps back, and
- 55:06Speaker 1: she's like in pain, and he's like get out one
- 55:10Speaker 1: more attempt and you're gonna lose that fucking hand or
- 55:13Speaker 1: something that you're gonna lose your life. I don't know.
- 55:15Speaker 1: And then he full on breaks. He's like wrist or
- 55:18Speaker 1: some shit, and she's like oh, and then I think
- 55:22Speaker 1: I don't really know what she says, but he's like,
- 55:24Speaker 1: get out of my fucking court, like, fuck off, bitch,
- 55:28Speaker 1: and then he pushes her. And then the thing that
- 55:33Speaker 1: I think is hilarious is the next part. She's like
- 55:36Speaker 1: and then she doesn't even bother to put her clothes on,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and he goes okay, and she just flies out of
- 55:43Speaker 1: his room with his power and just flicks her out
- 55:45Speaker 1: of his room and then she bugs off and then
- 55:48Speaker 1: she gets let out of the memory. She's like, when
- 55:51Speaker 1: was that? And he goes about one hundred years ago,
- 55:52Speaker 1: so she's honestly a bitch. And then he teaches her
- 55:57Speaker 1: like another thing that Demanti will do is they will
- 56:00Speaker 1: let you in you, but they could trap you there
- 56:02Speaker 1: forever FAI, so you care.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Yeah, And then that was also how she was just like, well,
- 56:08Speaker 2: he cared so much about empty there, but he let
- 56:12Speaker 2: Amarantha fuck him all the time just to save his
- 56:16Speaker 2: court and she's like, fuck, he's a good bloke Gade.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Yeah. There's like a part of the book
- 56:20Speaker 1: where a part of these chapters where she's like, why
- 56:22Speaker 1: do you let everyone think you're a monster. Yeah, you're
- 56:25Speaker 1: the complete opposite the things you did to save this court.
- 56:28Speaker 1: You let Amarantha fuck you every night, just so this
- 56:34Speaker 1: court could stay here. He's like, I do it again.
- 56:37Speaker 1: He's like, She's like, you actually were under the impression
- 56:41Speaker 1: that that was going to be there, like you're immortal,
- 56:44Speaker 1: you were going to be her whole for the rest
- 56:45Speaker 1: of your life. And he said, I do it again.
- 56:49Speaker 2: I'll do it again because the people who know me
- 56:52Speaker 2: know why I'm doing it, and that's all that matters.
- 56:53Speaker 2: And the people who are judging me for the person
- 56:56Speaker 2: who I'm not, I don't care what they think, which
- 56:58Speaker 2: is kind of like, I know, a lot of like
- 57:00Speaker 2: to read self help books.
- 57:02Speaker 1: It's a good little takeaway there. It's a good little
- 57:03Speaker 1: self help. Yeah, it's a good picture of in this bitch.
- 57:06Speaker 1: But that was chapter twenty one. Yeah, chapter twenty two, God,
- 57:10Speaker 1: chapter twenty two, to be fair, we've like actually touched
- 57:13Speaker 1: on everything in it. And now what we're going to
- 57:17Speaker 1: is the Summer. So we're on chapter twenty three and
- 57:19Speaker 1: the Summer Court has refused. So recent Center letter saying like,
- 57:25Speaker 1: can we come visit, and the Summer courts refused. They
- 57:27Speaker 1: were like nah. And so they were going to go
- 57:30Speaker 1: obviously visit to see if they would be on their side,
- 57:32Speaker 1: but also Parah was going to look for the Book
- 57:34Speaker 1: of Breathings. But so instead at Recent goes, well, we
- 57:38Speaker 1: may as well go to the fucking mortal lands and
- 57:40Speaker 1: we'll liketual. And know what's crazy is I didn't think
- 57:42Speaker 1: it would be this quick to go back to see
- 57:43Speaker 1: her family. I didn't. I really didn't think. I didn't
- 57:46Speaker 1: think her family was going to be involved at all.
- 57:48Speaker 1: It turns out they're going to be involved.
- 57:49Speaker 2: I do think it was quite intriguing to pick their home.
- 57:55Speaker 1: I don't know. I was like, surely he's a better option. Yeah, no,
- 57:58Speaker 1: but not really. Yeah, I guess.
- 58:00Speaker 2: So they live so close to the wall and they
- 58:02Speaker 2: have a nice dwelling.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Now, yeah, they have a nice big manner. Yeah, and
- 58:06Speaker 1: so basically they So twenty two was nothing. So chapter
- 58:08Speaker 1: twenty three, Chapter twenty three, they're getting ready to fly
- 58:15Speaker 1: yes to the Mortal realm, and so what they can
- 58:19Speaker 1: do is they're gonna winnow to a mile off shore
- 58:22Speaker 1: of the spring Court. And Phara was like, oh shit,
- 58:24Speaker 1: Tamler because there's a hole in the wall out there,
- 58:28Speaker 1: and so basically Recind is gonna winnow. Everyone there and
- 58:32Speaker 1: they're all ready to go, and I think, who asks
- 58:37Speaker 1: the question?
- 58:38Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, what didn't she just say, like
- 58:40Speaker 2: out of no work, Recent just.
- 58:41Speaker 1: Expected Recent just expected her to fly with him. And
- 58:45Speaker 1: then she's looking at the three Azrael, Cassie and Recent
- 58:50Speaker 1: she just goes, I'm gonna fly with Asriel, and apparently
- 58:55Speaker 1: they all pause. Recent gives her a dirty look, but
- 58:58Speaker 1: they all pause, and Asriel goes, of course, of course,
- 59:01Speaker 1: if that's what you feel, and so then yeah, she flies.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Just wanted to be in that snack, sup. Yeah? Bro?
- 59:08Speaker 1: Like I was just thinking, like, first of all, you
- 59:10Speaker 1: want Cassie to come to your bedroom. Second of all,
- 59:12Speaker 1: you want to fly with Asriel? Like, come on, you're
- 59:14Speaker 1: doing everything you can just to make Recent jealous. Seriously,
- 59:17Speaker 1: I see the little game you're playing. Yeah, oh, I'm
- 59:19Speaker 1: so from when they basically do you reckon? Like I reckon?
- 59:23Speaker 2: She yeah, Like, well do you think he's gonna like
- 59:26Speaker 2: I wanted to all three. Do you reckon she's gonna
- 59:27Speaker 2: get with any of them?
- 59:28Speaker 1: I want her to fuck all three of them. I
- 59:30Speaker 1: don't think she might no, no, no, no, no, I
- 59:33Speaker 1: reckon she might kiss one of them, and Recon is
- 59:35Speaker 1: gonna get jealous and say something like, why are you
- 59:37Speaker 1: doing that? I don't think Azrael would touch because he's
- 59:41Speaker 1: definitely with more.
- 59:42Speaker 2: Yeah anything, apparently, maybe they just kiss, but that's beside
- 59:48Speaker 2: the point. So they just outside the yeah, spring caught.
- 59:51Speaker 2: And then they go to Fayr's, well, not hers, but
- 59:54Speaker 2: her sister's house.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Their manner, and she reveals I forgot that Para actually
- 59:58Speaker 1: looks like a fairy now long is long, taller, and
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: she goes in and then she got a few things too,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: because the manner is very impressive. Cassie or Asriel says,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: it's even better than some He was like, I've seen
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: more wealth. There's more wealth in here than I've seen
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: in some CASTLESM.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Yeah, but they are hiding behind again when they hide
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: within the mind glimmer, glamor, glama glamor and glamored themselves.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Yeah, they've glamored. And she's like, oh, maybe they're inside
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: with me, or they could have gone away. Who knows,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: they're probably flying. Yeah. Basically, she goes in and she
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: has to reveal herself to her sisters and like, we
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: thought you were Dad. She finds out her father's over
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: in the biggest city on their continent. He's never home
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: and there he's doing some dealings. But also he's going
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: to a big meeting about the threat from Brian. Yeah,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: so they know about it. So they know about some
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: sort of threat that's coming. And basically we find out that.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: So she says she's fairy, just explains everything, like every
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: little detail she could explain. Yeah, we're fucking Nessa's a bitch.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: Nessa is still a bit.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Elaine's like really trying to help her understand everything that
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: has been through, and Nessa's just like, what do you
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: do on coming up on.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Our ship this She's like no, yeahs, Like so we
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: kind of need your house and we're just going to
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: use it. And Elaine's kind of like nursas like nap
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: this is like what everyone else think. And then Elaine
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: looks up a net and goes girl for four years
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: risked her life every single day, she did everything for us.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I forgot that Nessa was older. Yeah, yeah, and she's like, look,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: all we can do, at least we could do is
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: help her now. Yeah.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: But also I also forgot too that Tamilon paid for
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: everything in the manner.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I was like, maybe it wasn't that bad, yea.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Even she says that, even Parah says that to herself,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: like it's just like a look at tains dial. This
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: is all on Tavern's dime, isn't Yeah. Yeah, And so
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: basically they agree. Elaine goes to get rid of the help.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: They have servants and stuff, and then she finds out
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: that Elaine is getting married to a lord's son. The
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: lord hates fair He actually kills them for fun. He
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: hunts and kills him.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: The lord's dad absolutely despises them.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: He despises them. And she's like, look, I don't mind
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: this the guy she's marrying. It's her dad that I'm worried.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: It's his dad that I'm worried about, is Nessa speaking.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: It's like, it is his dad I'm worried about. Their
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: house is like a prison. He's built wars to keep
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: fairies out and they can wino. But basically she's like, okay, well,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: I mean thanks, but then they have to like have
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: a dinner together or something. Yeah.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: That was the end of chapter twenty three and then
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: chapter twenty four. All right, so chapter twenty four is
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: the dinner with all of them they introduced him. He
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: is like, this is catrine as well retail yea, yeah,
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: and Ritain's all nice, and then Cassian's got a bit
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: of like skeptical and it's about him. Yeah's like yeah,
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: And they all sit down and having dinner, and Favor
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: is not hungry, and she's like, oh, I forgot to
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: get the stalls of their wings and stuff.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: But they sit down and there's a lot of animosity
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: nessa especially well. It starts off with she looks at
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: the food that's been served and it tastes like ship and.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: She's like, God, this I used to I would have
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: loved this back in the day. This this tastes like
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: fucking ass is like too good, too good for too
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: good for us. Now, what's wrongs one of the food? Yeah,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: not good enough for you? Yeah, it's like no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: that's how started to day. It's super fee blah blah
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: blah blah blah. And then what does She's like oh no, no,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: she can't you eat out food and Pharah goes, I
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: can eat h something breathe. I don't know. She's like
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: an eat breathe and fucking whoever? I want better or
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: even better than I could before. Yeah, even better than
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: I could before. So she's like, funk off net. Yeah.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: And then I think Cassiane was giving a dirty look
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: to Nesta. Yeah, and she's like, what are you looking at, bitch.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: He's like, I'm just looking at the person that fucking
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: let Farry do everything for her while she was just
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: sitting there doing nothing. Yeah, pretty much. I love Cassie.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: I love Cassiane as well.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: And Nessa didn't even acknowledge what he said, just turned away.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and he was like he was angry. Yeah, obviously
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: he was angry.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: But basically the dinner didn't they just sort of get
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: to know each other and I was like, let's start it.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: Favor was like, let's start again, Nesta, like I said,
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: start from ground one, yeah.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: And Elaine goes, look forgive us for it's very new
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: to us. You have to remember where we grow up
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: with stories about you guys killing our kind, like we
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: this is hard for us. And then Nesta says, and again,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: if you guys want to try and get the trust
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: of these queens, they're actually going to hate you more
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: than we hate you. So you've got to have to
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: remember that. Yeah.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: And then they were like, well, we got to write
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: a letter to the queens. But before we do that,
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: like the girls go off to bed, but like, can
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: we have two rooms side by side? Our powers aren't
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: as good. And then I think Elaine's like, oh, the
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: rooms aren't side by side, and I don't worry, we'll Yeah,
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: so the Mortals I love calling him that. Now Nesta hatered,
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: Nesta and a Lane go to bed.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Yeah, this is a bitch bro.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: And and all Asrael, Cassian, Recent and fav write a letter,
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: talk them till midnight and.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: They draft up. I want to read this letter. They have,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: like a wicked letter to send to the King yahteen
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: the queens.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: And then it ends with them going to their separate rooms.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Recent and Favr and Cassie Asrael and they get in
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: and like, I'm not sleeping. We've had recons like there's
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: another bed. He's like, bitch, I don't want to sleep
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: with you either, and.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Then he clicks his fingers and her night clothes.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: Yeah, and then there's some like lazy pair of and
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: he's like, yeah, he's actually recent.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: It's like kind of a dick something. It makes me
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: laugh because he's like, I didn't know what you wanted
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: to wear under there, but there you go. And she's
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: like pig. And then she goes and has a bath,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: and then she comes back in the beds warm and
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: he's and she's like, thank you for warming the bed
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: and he goes, Amarantha, never thank me for that. Yeah,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: get over it. And and then he goes, you're gonna
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: have to forgive us for disliking your sisters. Yeah, especially Cassian,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: especially so Cassian. He goes, CVI, I've never seen anyone
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: get on a Cassian skin like that. Yeah, I haven't
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: seen that in like, yeah, like fifty years. Yeah. But
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: he's like, you're gonna have to forgive us. It's going
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: to take time for us to like warm up to
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: them because we can't like comprehend what they let you
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: do for them. Yeah, he's like, we.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: Can't comprehend that. It is really honorable, I guess, and
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: it's like fair. And there was two things that the
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: chapter ended on. One was recent explaining he's going to
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: pay fairer as he pays everyone in his court a
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: bank account.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Yeah, set up a bank account. And she's like, no,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: you don't have to do that.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: He's like, I pay everyone, yeah, which, I tell you
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: what that they cut this out if you want, I
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: tell you what that reminded me of. Do you know
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: that clip of that that podcast or that fucking guy
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: saying like I just want my girlfriend to collect postcards?
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Recent Tamilin's like that guy on the podcast.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Well, yeah, what's his name? The guy whoever? Yeah?
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Recent is an actual good bloke who's
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: like paying him and looking after like their super and
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: their Yeah, that's what.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: It reminded me of. Again, I can't believe that there's
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: bank accounts. Yeah, fucking weirdo. There's these weird things that
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: we met.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: And then it finished on I don't know, they're getting
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: to know each other in resense. It's like, so I
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: went east your birthday anyway, and she's like the Winter Celsius.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah yeah because you guys, Yeah, I pay everyone.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: And then he's like, oh, when's your birthday, as if
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: like to get her a gift, and she's like, oh,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: it was on the winter solstice. Yeah, and he goes,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: what that was just like three months ago? That was
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: like three much again, and then for some reason he's
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: like very very intrigued because I felt me He's like,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: is it really on the winter solstice? I have a
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: feeling her being born in the winter solstice is going
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: to mean something because he was like, were you really born?
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but that is where chapter twenty four ended and
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: we are up to date.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh that was a lot that was heaped.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: I think I don't want to say too much, but
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: like urgitate, the storyline is getting so deep and like intertwined,
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: and like the detail to get through is a lot.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: So I think what I want is if it's like genuinely,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: if you guys are happy with like this length, this
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: much detail, I'm more than happy to keep doing it. Yeah,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: I just like I feel as though it's like it's
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: just so much. It is a lot of information to
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: get out, which is like I'm finding it out because
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: we get the notes. We you know, I'm fine to
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: do it too.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: I'm just wondering if we're what Sarah Jay Mass kind
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: of does is sets it up and then happens. Was
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: this the setup and then the juice is gonna happen.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: Then we can talk about it quicker and get to
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: our predictions. But I do I do like it when
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: we say our thoughts and feelings as we go.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: I reckon we should just like fuck it and we
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: should try a full episode without notes, Do you reckon?
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Fuck it?
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: I kind of like the notes, but true, I do
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: like the notes. It gives more detail. Let us know
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: in the comments, and.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Let's known on the comments. But yeah, so that is
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: where we are up to.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Guys, So we got predictions and then which chapter we
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: are reading to next?
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Yeah, predictions to be fair like, it's kind of being
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: spoon fed to us. I just like you didn't really, Yeah, Like,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: what's gonna happen has been spoon fed. Yeah, so maybe
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: predictions is gonna have to wait, You're gonna leave them
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: on a cliffhanger. Well, there's nothing to the fact that
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: we know what anything? Is there anything we can throw? Okay? Okkk, Look,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: so we know what's gonna happen, right, is they're going
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: to be back and forth from the Mortal Lands trying
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: to gain trust. They're gonna go to the Summer Court.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: So let's think about what's gonna happen in the summer Court. Okay,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: what's gonna happen? Yeah, so they're gonna get approved. Do
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: you think they're gonna get aproveal? We're just gonna go
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: it's a good question. Okay.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: So so where we can where we don't know is
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: how Fay is gonna, like what her power is going
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: to become, or like how she figures them out more.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess that's where we can throw Can I
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: be honestly, bro, I don't have a prediction because I
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: don't know where this is going to go. Okay, okay,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: because it's like you know what, You're right, it's been
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: spoonfaned to us, like I know where it's gonna go. Yeah,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I know that we're looking for the Book of Breathings.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I know that. Wait a second, the cauldrons with the
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: King Higburn. Yeah, they're gonna they have to go to
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Hiburn across the water. Remember they need to go to
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Yeah okay, okay, shit, that's going to be scary. Yeah.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: So what we're going to be reading is chapter twenty
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: five to thirty five. We're doing ten again? Yeah fuck yeah,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: okay again?
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: How many chapters in this one like fifty a lot,
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: and I was like, sixty, okay, sixty, So.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: All right, we'll leave it on that. I reckon that's good. Yeah,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: and that's it. It is what it is like again,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: spoon fed.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Yeah, so we got to okay, we're finished on thoughts
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: and feelings of the next ten those ten chapters.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: We just read, mate, I fucking I'm just in love.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like so surprised how much I'm loving it.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: Same like I was loving it prior to, but like
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: I'm in this yeah, Like it's so enjoyable and like,
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: I don't know, there's something about as two non readers
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: we're talking about it at the gym today, it's so
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: cool to have something so new to us and be like,
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: I've never.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: Been so involved in a book. No, either, I love it.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: It's so good. All right, Well that's the end.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Stay bad, guys, you heard it reading finishing. We're reading
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: all of chapter thirty five, finishing on that.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Yes,
